- 0:05Speaker 1: Hello, my Loves, Welcome back to the Give Them La
- 0:08Speaker 1: La Podcast. I feel like I didn't sleep last night
- 0:12Speaker 1: because we're doing an episode like we used to do,
- 0:14Speaker 1: but I'm not used to it. I'm like, wait, it's
- 0:16Speaker 1: just me and tea tomorrow. I'm kind of tripping.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you freak out? What it's just me and you
- 0:20Speaker 2: and I.
- 0:21Speaker 1: That's completely untrue. I get into a rhythm, and I
- 0:26Speaker 1: was in a rhythm where it was just the two
- 0:28Speaker 1: of us, and then any time we would say, like,
- 0:31Speaker 1: let's have a guest, I would tweak out over the
- 0:33Speaker 1: fact we were having a guest. And now we've had
- 0:37Speaker 1: so many back to backs and I feel comfortable that
- 0:40Speaker 1: it's about them.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Now you're worried about you.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I'm worried about a lot. It's a torture chamber in
- 0:47Speaker 1: my mind recently, and I don't know what it is.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I'm like, what is going on in the universe that
- 0:51Speaker 1: I continue to wake up? Even being on my lem
- 0:55Speaker 1: me sleep gummies, I still wake up. They used to
- 0:57Speaker 1: like put me to bed, And I'm sure people will
- 0:59Speaker 1: write in and like it's because you're used to them,
- 1:02Speaker 1: or it's because they don't work.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Okay, But now beyond that, I would Yeah, well I'll
- 1:06Speaker 3: piggyback on that. Okay, is something going on because I
- 1:10Speaker 3: am waking up crazy hours.
- 1:12Speaker 1: There there could be something in the universe that I'm not. Like.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I'm into astrology and like the science and stuff, but
- 1:18Speaker 1: I don't pay attention to exactly. I don't pay attention
- 1:21Speaker 1: to things like that. Although it does help tremendously. When
- 1:25Speaker 1: someone's like, it's because mercury is in retro grade, I'm like, oh,
- 1:30Speaker 1: that's exactly why I feel so much.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I just needed something to blame it on so I
- 1:33Speaker 3: can go, Okay, I'm not I'm not out of sorts. Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 1: We talked about this in the car. Yeah, taking accountability,
- 1:42Speaker 1: but admitting sometimes where you're like, I just want to
- 1:44Speaker 1: blame someone.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Yeah, when some when someone in little quotes pisses you off,
- 1:50Speaker 3: it's like, they're not pissing me off the way I'm
- 1:55Speaker 3: handling this is what's irritating me, right, And what is
- 1:59Speaker 3: irritating me is knowing what I want to say to
- 2:01Speaker 3: them and not saying it. That's the other thing that
- 2:04Speaker 3: gives me anxiety because I'm like, I want to just
- 2:06Speaker 3: say this, but I'm too nervous to say it like.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I don't want the smoke, so I'm just gonna put
- 2:10Speaker 1: it under the rug until the rug becomes too high
- 2:12Speaker 1: and I explode and then ruin everything. That's kind of
- 2:15Speaker 1: how I do think.
- 2:16Speaker 3: That's kind of how our family does things.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I really yeah, but we're really good at therapists would
- 2:22Speaker 1: have a heyday unpacking that.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Yeah, we sweep things under the rug, but then again
- 2:27Speaker 3: we don't have I sweep little things, and the little
- 2:31Speaker 3: things still nah. By the end of the day, they evaporated,
- 2:36Speaker 3: the dust, hit water, evaporated.
- 2:39Speaker 1: What a therapist would have such a hat, it'd be like, no, no, unhealthy.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I know what you're referring to. Though sometimes it's easier
- 2:50Speaker 1: for mom to just accept her and you don't want
- 2:53Speaker 1: the fucking smoke.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Bro.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I learned it from my father, like.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Why is man?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Oh, just to let you know, yes, every day i'd
- 3:03Speaker 3: get home from work, he'd just be sitting on the
- 3:05Speaker 3: patio with his glass of wine. I'd grab one and
- 3:09Speaker 3: back then I'd grab one and have one, and he
- 3:11Speaker 3: would just bitch. And half the time he'd go, yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 3: your mother's coming home. Don't know what fucking plans you
- 3:20Speaker 3: made for me? Then I don't know about no. Oh,
- 3:24Speaker 3: immediately she would drive down the driveway, okay, get out
- 3:27Speaker 3: of the car, not even pull in the garage because
- 3:30Speaker 3: she can't ever, no matter where she lives, no garage
- 3:33Speaker 3: can be pulled into a standing can you move my
- 3:36Speaker 3: hang you in hair? And she would just come walking
- 3:38Speaker 3: in with her eight purses of whatever the hell she's
- 3:41Speaker 3: coming home with. We're going to dinner with this someone's house.
- 3:47Speaker 3: He'd just look at me with his wine just lifted
- 3:50Speaker 3: a bit like a Cheers drink. Hit and ruff told you,
- 3:54Speaker 3: and that was his night, you know, just depression.
- 3:57Speaker 1: That's marriage.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's marriage.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's finest.
- 4:01Speaker 3: So yeah, No, Dad taught me that I can put
- 4:04Speaker 3: up with mother.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Well, she's a real job.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Is the greatest. That's why I tell people, And.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I probably said on here my mother is my mother,
- 4:15Speaker 3: but my mother is also my best friend. And we've
- 4:17Speaker 3: made very good like points on when I need my mother,
- 4:22Speaker 3: when my mother needs her son, and when we can
- 4:25Speaker 3: just be homies totally. Like when Mom calls me a
- 4:28Speaker 3: little fucker, there's nothing better? Is there?
- 4:32Speaker 2: Nothing better? I just got like thinking about it, real
- 4:36Speaker 2: little fucker.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I'm like Lisa, I don't think anyone would picture moms
- 4:40Speaker 1: saying the F.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Word, would word friend mode and mode. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 4:45Speaker 3: so fun, Lisa.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Sometimes a little cea next Tuesday comes out the actual word,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and I'll say it to her and she goes, well,
- 4:55Speaker 1: I learned from the best. I think when we do
- 5:01Speaker 1: it in front of people who like know us but
- 5:04Speaker 1: like not know us, like that, they're like shocked. Yeah
- 5:08Speaker 1: that I would say that to my mom.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I think you were at dance.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Oh no, did I drop it at dance?
- 5:14Speaker 3: No? No, no, no, you were at dance with Ocean
- 5:18Speaker 3: and I was with mom. I think we're at Michael's okay,
- 5:21Speaker 3: creating bracelets, you know, And I guess I was just
- 5:25Speaker 3: swearing a lot on accident, don't even remember. And Mom
- 5:28Speaker 3: like his leg, just smiling. You're swearing a lot today.
- 5:32Speaker 1: She doesn't like it when we cuss on the podcast.
- 5:35Speaker 1: She's like, she had a really serious conversation with me,
- 5:38Speaker 1: well as serious as one could happen, Lisa. She's like,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I really, it's just unbecoming. You guys have to stop.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I'm like, I think she's more upset about it because
- 5:50Speaker 3: people are like who raised.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Them to Oh, it's more of a selfish what will
- 5:54Speaker 1: the neighbors think of me?
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:56Speaker 1: No, I always say parents can only do so much,
- 5:59Speaker 1: and then after that you're off to the races and
- 6:01Speaker 1: you what's done is done, and kids come how they
- 6:05Speaker 1: are Like. I constantly look at Ocean and I do
- 6:09Speaker 1: think that she well, and I've heard this from people.
- 6:13Speaker 1: She is very wise, very emotionally intelligent for her age,
- 6:18Speaker 1: and there's just something about her where I'm like, some
- 6:23Speaker 1: people may say she's like that because that's how you're
- 6:27Speaker 1: raising her. I think that God just made her this way,
- 6:31Speaker 1: where she's very much a calming force already at the
- 6:35Speaker 1: age of four. The other day, I was driving to
- 6:37Speaker 1: my eye appointment and the last person and we're not
- 6:41Speaker 1: going to get into it Easton, please, I don't want
- 6:43Speaker 1: the back and forth of who was in the car
- 6:45Speaker 1: last and who should have filled it up? Right, So
- 6:47Speaker 1: my mom bought this car because she wanted to zip
- 6:51Speaker 1: around in it. Right, She's done no zipping at all.
- 6:55Speaker 1: She makes other people drive it for her while she's
- 6:57Speaker 1: in the front seat.
- 6:58Speaker 3: No, all she did was at an vehicle for me
- 7:01Speaker 3: to go wash.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Correct. Ethan went to wash it while we were gone.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And I'm driving to my eye appointment, and we're in
- 7:09Speaker 1: this car because my car doesn't fit into the doctor's
- 7:14Speaker 1: parking garage whatever I call Easton because I have to
- 7:18Speaker 1: turn around halfway up Beverly Glen to go back down
- 7:24Speaker 1: to get gas. And I'm furious. I'm like, this appointment
- 7:26Speaker 1: is important, and I wish that you would have filled
- 7:28Speaker 1: the car up. It becomes a pointing fingers of whose
- 7:31Speaker 1: fault it was, What was the point of this? Oh, Ocean.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Ocean's in the back seat, and I'm obviously annoyed, and
- 7:40Speaker 1: I start to cry. Mom tells me, don't cry, like,
- 7:43Speaker 1: it's okay, We'll be on time. Ocean says, it's okay
- 7:48Speaker 1: for you to cry. Mom, you can cry if you
- 7:50Speaker 1: need to cry, and she goes, but you need to
- 7:53Speaker 1: remember to breathe. You need to smell the roses and
- 7:58Speaker 1: blow out the candles. My four year olds telling me this,
- 8:01Speaker 1: which then causes me to stop even because I'm like,
- 8:03Speaker 1: who are you?
- 8:04Speaker 3: She says a lot of things where I'm just like, there,
- 8:07Speaker 3: I feel like I've never said that.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I don't think you've ever said that.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Now, where did you get this from?
- 8:11Speaker 1: I know? And she's very into praying right now. I
- 8:13Speaker 1: don't know where she saw this, Yeah, and like very
- 8:16Speaker 1: into like God. And again, we're a spiritual family. I'm
- 8:22Speaker 1: not preaching God in the household. But she grabs a
- 8:26Speaker 1: pillow and she takes like anything that's like a stick
- 8:31Speaker 1: and puts it in her hands and kneels on the
- 8:33Speaker 1: pillow and prays. And I'm like, where is this coming from?
- 8:39Speaker 1: And again, maybe we do things that we don't even realize.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You know, you your kids start doing things and you go,
- 8:44Speaker 1: where did they get that? And then all of this sudden,
- 8:46Speaker 1: you go, what the hell? And you go, oh, I
- 8:48Speaker 1: clocked it just now, And I didn't realize that I
- 8:51Speaker 1: do that.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Yeah, It's like being so close to somebody that you
- 8:53Speaker 3: never see them change.
- 8:54Speaker 2: You're so close to yourself that.
- 8:55Speaker 3: You don't even realize what you're doing totally. It's almost
- 8:59Speaker 3: second nature.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Right. So my point in all of this is I
- 9:04Speaker 1: like to think that if Ocean goes into the world
- 9:07Speaker 1: and is not an incredible human, not my fault, Not
- 9:10Speaker 1: that I can do. If she says a little too
- 9:13Speaker 1: often that one is probably my fault.
- 9:16Speaker 2: But if she's great, look no further.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I went to Palm Springs this weekend and had I
- 9:30Speaker 1: wanted to check on the house. Bro it was one
- 9:33Speaker 1: hundred and six there. I don't know what I was
- 9:35Speaker 1: thinking when I felt the pool and it was nighttime, right,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and I dip my foot in, and I'm like, I'm
- 9:40Speaker 1: just gonna heat it a little bit, dude. The next day,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I plan to have an entire pool day. The app
- 9:47Speaker 1: is lying to me. The app said it was only
- 9:49Speaker 1: eighty nine, and it could have been eighty nine and
- 9:52Speaker 1: one hundred and sixty, but probably just the combination just
- 9:56Speaker 1: feels hotter than it is.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Well, yeah, and you're getting out of like a hot
- 9:59Speaker 3: pool into like your warm water, into baking your Yeah,
- 10:05Speaker 3: that's it's important.
- 10:06Speaker 1: To know the size of the pool because the pool
- 10:08Speaker 1: here I heat to like ninety and it feels fantastic,
- 10:14Speaker 1: a little bit larger. By no means is it a
- 10:16Speaker 1: big pool. But I really fucked up. It was so hot,
- 10:19Speaker 1: and that was the day that we were just gonna
- 10:20Speaker 1: kick it by the pool and I couldn't even get in.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Mom was sitting in the water with the hose on
- 10:25Speaker 1: her not good.
- 10:28Speaker 3: And that's Lisa's that's her favorite place to be is
- 10:32Speaker 3: in a pool for fifteen hours of the day.
- 10:34Speaker 1: She was totally cool with it though, She's like, it's fine,
- 10:37Speaker 1: what are you gonna do it?
- 10:38Speaker 3: Fine, head, it's fine, I'm cool.
- 10:42Speaker 1: And I had caught up on all the Housewives. Right
- 10:44Speaker 1: now OC is airing and Miami. It is top tier television.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 10:51Speaker 2: So I need this.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I don't.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I don't think you appreciate the art of Housewives, So
- 10:56Speaker 1: if you're not going to appreciate it, then you shouldn't
- 10:58Speaker 1: watch it.
- 10:58Speaker 3: I feel like I've watched it where I can probably
- 11:01Speaker 3: appreciate it. The one shot I actually do want to
- 11:04Speaker 3: watch is Miami, the way that you and Mom have
- 11:06Speaker 3: talked about it.
- 11:07Speaker 2: That's the one that I do want to go.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I think at this point there are only four, maybe
- 11:11Speaker 1: five episodes in it was a hit from the jump
- 11:14Speaker 1: OC is. I think I've seen two episodes. Maybe at
- 11:17Speaker 1: this point there's three. It is so fantastic. I took
- 11:22Speaker 1: Jenna with us to Palm Springs and we started watching
- 11:26Speaker 1: the newest episode of OC and newest episode of Miami,
- 11:31Speaker 1: and she kept trying to tell me stories during this,
- 11:34Speaker 1: and I paused it and I was like, here's the deal.
- 11:38Speaker 1: What is happening right now on this television is jaw
- 11:42Speaker 1: dropping top tier grade A television. We don't talk during
- 11:48Speaker 1: Housewives about anything, Okay, if you continue to talk, I
- 11:54Speaker 1: will pause the television each time, and We're gonna be
- 11:56Speaker 1: here for four hours because I'm watching this episode now.
- 12:00Speaker 1: So then I put on She gets the Drill. I
- 12:03Speaker 1: put on one morning because I had caught up on Housewives.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I was like, I've never seen Courtney and Chloe take Miami,
- 12:09Speaker 1: so I started from season one. There's only three seasons,
- 12:12Speaker 1: and Jenna comes out thinking she can't talk. I'm like, no,
- 12:14Speaker 1: this is just background noise. But it was so wild
- 12:17Speaker 1: to see first of all the Kardashians back in the day,
- 12:21Speaker 1: like trying to open Miami dash Da, I mean you
- 12:26Speaker 1: name it, and then like Chloe is hooking up or
- 12:32Speaker 1: maybe trying to start something with Omarian from B two K.
- 12:38Speaker 2: There was Wow, you.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Just threw me back.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Do you remember Terrence J. Howard, Yes, I think he
- 12:46Speaker 1: hosted one of He did host one O six in
- 12:48Speaker 1: park on bet he was on it. He and Chloe
- 12:52Speaker 1: had a talk show, a radio show called Chloe after Dark.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I'm like, this is so wild. Mom walks and she's
- 12:58Speaker 1: does she still have Chloe after Dark? Like no, yeah, no, no,
- 13:03Speaker 1: she doesn't. Scott Storch made an appearance. It was crazy
- 13:11Speaker 1: and to see like there was a girl, uh ericamna,
- 13:17Speaker 1: when was this airing?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Like what was the air?
- 13:19Speaker 3: Oh?
- 13:19Speaker 2: My two thousand and.
- 13:21Speaker 1: What I mean? I had to have been in high school.
- 13:24Speaker 3: So let's say two thousand and six seven mm hmm,
- 13:31Speaker 3: I'm want to look it up.
- 13:32Speaker 1: But two thousand and nine, so I was nineteen. There
- 13:36Speaker 1: was a storyline. So Erica a minna who's on Love
- 13:39Speaker 1: and Hip Hop now and she has been linked to
- 13:41Speaker 1: like bow Wow, and she had a baby with this
- 13:44Speaker 1: guy Oric, maybe two or three babies with this guy Safari,
- 13:48Speaker 1: who is friends with Teresa Judice because they did have
- 13:51Speaker 1: civillains together. But she's in it. She's one of the
- 13:55Speaker 1: dash dolls. And then the girl from Orange is a
- 14:00Speaker 1: New Black comes in and she's bisexual and she plays
- 14:03Speaker 1: kind of a not love interest, but she's interested in
- 14:07Speaker 1: Courtney and they like go on dates and Courtney has
- 14:09Speaker 1: to break it to her that she's straight and doesn't
- 14:13Speaker 1: want anything with this girl. And unlike these storylines, like
- 14:19Speaker 1: watching that and seeing how they catapult it into such fame,
- 14:23Speaker 1: you would have to just say perfect timing and obviously
- 14:27Speaker 1: being able to have such a business mind that you
- 14:29Speaker 1: can hustle the shit out of the opportunity. But just
- 14:33Speaker 1: to weigh that show and then Housewives that was maybe
- 14:36Speaker 1: airing at that time, I mean Housewives again just so
- 14:41Speaker 1: fucking good and nothing to me, nothing seems to be
- 14:45Speaker 1: like a storyline, like it doesn't seem scripted. And maybe
- 14:48Speaker 1: I'm too close to how the sausage is made. But
- 14:53Speaker 1: just the difference in reality television at that time to
- 14:59Speaker 1: now is fucking bonkers.
- 15:03Speaker 2: What is that to you?
- 15:04Speaker 3: What is the biggest difference that you see?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Well, I mean when you're comparing a show like Keeping
- 15:12Speaker 1: Up with the Kardashians or maybe Selling Sunset, which is
- 15:17Speaker 1: on Netflix, which they've said is lightly it's lightly scripted.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Bravo has just conquered the art of getting women together
- 15:28Speaker 1: who are pretty wealthy, but making their arguments like everyday arguments.
- 15:36Speaker 1: You could be worth one hundred million dollars or you
- 15:38Speaker 1: could have one thousand dollars to your name, and the
- 15:40Speaker 1: arguments are so relatable. In the same everyone can relate
- 15:44Speaker 1: to the friend who is a little self absorbed and
- 15:48Speaker 1: two hours late. Whether you're rich or not that rich,
- 15:54Speaker 1: that's a relatable topic, right, yeah.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Or the one who can who can't leave their their
- 16:00Speaker 3: partner at home exactly, you know, husband or wife. It's
- 16:04Speaker 3: like I brought my wife. I brought my husband. It's
- 16:07Speaker 3: like why are you doing this?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Which is a whole other game again, whether you're rich
- 16:14Speaker 1: or not, that is relatable. The woman who can't leave
- 16:16Speaker 1: her husband, it's like, we gotta leave the husband. It's
- 16:19Speaker 1: a girl's trip. You're also reminding me that I don't
- 16:21Speaker 1: have a husband.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I don't like that, But do you want one?
- 16:29Speaker 1: I go back and forth, I go back and forth.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You want a husband? And then you see the guy
- 16:33Speaker 1: who gets out at the Coldplay concert.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Can and you're like me, I don't want to no, no,
- 16:39Speaker 3: no no no.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Can we steer into that?
- 16:42Speaker 1: Of course we can steer into that.
- 16:44Speaker 3: So how many I saw a funny meme and it
- 16:49Speaker 3: was like Coldplay has made made three singles that night
- 16:54Speaker 3: or four singles that night? Okay, very right, there's a
- 16:59Speaker 3: lot of good there's a lot of good memes.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, did you see the guy's daughter.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Andy Byron, the CEO or the yeah CEO of the.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Miser yekay, his daughter is like now posting tiktoks, like
- 17:14Speaker 3: feeding into it, like when your dad gets caught at
- 17:17Speaker 3: like games and stuff. I'm like, you know what, strike
- 17:21Speaker 3: while the iron's hop, baby, go get that money.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Here's the thing, love all the memes. Love that Coldplay
- 17:26Speaker 1: is milking this too, like giving people a heads up
- 17:29Speaker 1: if you are cheating on your spouse, or like you
- 17:32Speaker 1: didn't put makeup on, like do it now because we
- 17:35Speaker 1: will have a camera scanning the audience and we may
- 17:38Speaker 1: land on you, like everyone's having a heydache. I cannot
- 17:42Speaker 1: help but think about the wife. And I don't mean
- 17:46Speaker 1: to get dark and sappy, because it was pretty fucking iconic, right,
- 17:51Speaker 1: But this poor woman who like just thinks her husband's
- 17:54Speaker 1: going out to a Coldplay concert. What's the worst that
- 17:56Speaker 1: could happen? Coldplay?
- 17:59Speaker 2: If we all although at home.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Didn't Chris Martin cheat on Gwene Paltrow.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Like Coldplay is known for making singles.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Let me tell you something that Chris Martin is hot
- 18:11Speaker 1: and he could sing para para para nice to me
- 18:15Speaker 1: all the live long day. However, this man, I so
- 18:22Speaker 1: believe in karma, like I think that karma is alive
- 18:25Speaker 1: and well, and like you will not even karma, but
- 18:28Speaker 1: just the well, I guess the universe distributes karma right
- 18:31Speaker 1: quite frequently. What are the fucking chances you go to
- 18:37Speaker 1: this concert you know that you've told your homies what's
- 18:40Speaker 1: going on, they're not going to post anything. They've got
- 18:43Speaker 1: your back. When it's like who went? And then oh no,
- 18:48Speaker 1: the friends are always at fault as well. The friends
- 18:51Speaker 1: are always at fault as well. Also pieces of shit
- 18:56Speaker 1: to have the kiss camp land on you out of
- 19:00Speaker 1: all the people, how many people were at that concert?
- 19:02Speaker 3: Do you think?
- 19:02Speaker 2: Well over fifty standing up and like that and.
- 19:06Speaker 1: It looks like they're in a suite. Of course you're
- 19:08Speaker 1: getting hit with that, but a lot of people on
- 19:10Speaker 1: TikTok were like this is what I would have done.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And it's like a choking one going around where they're
- 19:15Speaker 1: like hold her and pretending she's choking. Just start beating
- 19:18Speaker 1: the ship out of her, you.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Know, like get it out. Wow, just a little too late.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Behind them like this, he's like this, I'm just so
- 19:30Speaker 3: fixated on these two. Oh.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I immediately went to the girl next to them and
- 19:34Speaker 1: she's like this, holdly, her face beat red, beat red,
- 19:38Speaker 1: Like oh, and I've known about this little time and
- 19:43Speaker 1: then the guy behind like this, I don't like.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Here's the thing. Do do you think they were having sex?
- 19:53Speaker 3: WHI the two that got caught on the kiss camp.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Let me tell you something.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Do you think they're just little makeout buddies at work
- 20:02Speaker 3: or do you think they took it?
- 20:04Speaker 1: I think drinking. I think they both probably drink. And
- 20:07Speaker 1: I have always said this, when you're comfortable and at alcohol.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Your mistakes are made.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Mistakes are made. But this took This looked like an
- 20:19Speaker 1: emotional affair to me. And I saw this guy posting
- 20:23Speaker 1: because of course, like my trauma comes into play. And
- 20:29Speaker 1: beyond all the memes and all the shit that people
- 20:31Speaker 1: are posting in the tiktoks, this guy, Brennan Schlagbomb CPA.
- 20:39Speaker 1: His handle is at Budget Dog Underscore, and he talks
- 20:43Speaker 1: about how you know this is Andy Byron whatever and
- 20:47Speaker 1: what this affair. Here's how much an affair actually costs.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Everyone's talking about the money twenty five million in potential divorce,
- 20:54Speaker 1: five hundred k plus annual salary gone, twelve million estimated
- 20:58Speaker 1: companies stake at risk. Then he goes on to talk
- 21:02Speaker 1: about Andy has two children with his wife. This is
- 21:06Speaker 1: what the statistics are if the affair leads to divorce,
- 21:11Speaker 1: they'll be two times more likely to drop out of school.
- 21:14Speaker 1: This is how it affects the children, three times more
- 21:16Speaker 1: likely to experience violence, slash instability, four times more likely
- 21:20Speaker 1: to suffer from mental illness. Then he goes on not
- 21:24Speaker 1: to mention sons of divorce have a thirty five percent
- 21:27Speaker 1: higher divorce rate, daughters have a sixty percent higher divorce rate.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Says that your parents' marriage becomes the blueprint for your own.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Do I believe that statistically it probably is a higher percentage.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I don't think it's a blanketed statement by any means,
- 21:45Speaker 1: he said. I think about his daughter right now. She's
- 21:47Speaker 1: learning that love is conditional, that promises can be broken,
- 21:50Speaker 1: that dad chose someone else over mom. She'll carry that
- 21:52Speaker 1: wound into every relationship she has. I think about his son.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He just learned how men treat women, how they how
- 22:00Speaker 1: they keep promises, how they honor the mother of their children,
- 22:03Speaker 1: or how they don't. So he's going into like how
- 22:08Speaker 1: this will long term affect the family, because as an outsider,
- 22:13Speaker 1: it is pretty crazy that this happened. It's a viral moment,
- 22:17Speaker 1: it's everywhere behind that is like he mentioned a woman
- 22:24Speaker 1: who in her mind, we will think this way. I
- 22:27Speaker 1: don't know what their marriage was like behind closed doors.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I know that no matter what him, this Andy Byron
- 22:32Speaker 1: doing what he did is really fucked up. A woman
- 22:36Speaker 1: who cannot escape the fact that her life as she
- 22:41Speaker 1: knew it is now over. And then you add the
- 22:45Speaker 1: element of you know, public scrutiny, people laughing, like making
- 22:52Speaker 1: a joke of it, right, and they're making a joke
- 22:55Speaker 1: out of Andy and this woman.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but every time, like the family is seeing this,
- 23:00Speaker 3: and it's like, like, my whole family is my whole Yeah. Well,
- 23:04Speaker 3: the wife on Facebook, she like already changed her name
- 23:08Speaker 3: back to his maiden name.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Yeah, and a whole bunch of stuff.
- 23:12Speaker 1: And no one knows the status of the woman. I
- 23:15Speaker 1: think her name's Kristen something.
- 23:17Speaker 2: She married, she is married, she's married with a family
- 23:20Speaker 2: as well. I'm pretty sure.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Well Astronomer did an internal investigation and Andy Byron had
- 23:27Speaker 1: resigned at the time, but as of today, we record
- 23:31Speaker 1: the podcast on Monday, so July twenty First, I'm a
- 23:35Speaker 1: mom who wakes up at six forty five and watches
- 23:37Speaker 1: Katla that then moves into the Today Show. He was
- 23:42Speaker 1: brought back on as of today, like he's back into
- 23:45Speaker 1: his position.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Really mm hmm. So obviously it didn't affect it that much. Well.
- 23:52Speaker 1: I mean when someone says we're conducting an internal investigation,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I always wonder what that means, Like, do they go
- 23:58Speaker 1: and talk to people and they figure out the intent?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Do they go to the wife? Do they I don't
- 24:03Speaker 1: understand what that means.
- 24:04Speaker 2: She was like the CEO or whatever, and she was
- 24:07Speaker 2: like the HR.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I don't see how you keep one and not the other.
- 24:13Speaker 1: That's not a good look. Either you keep the guy
- 24:15Speaker 1: and let go of the woman. I don't love that
- 24:18Speaker 1: at all. Either both stay.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Or they're both like I think both will be let go.
- 24:22Speaker 1: But no, they they reinstated his position.
- 24:25Speaker 3: What I'm saying, I don't think she works for that company,
- 24:28Speaker 3: so it's like, there's no she's.
- 24:30Speaker 1: An employee of that's the same company.
- 24:33Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 24:34Speaker 1: See then, Wow, someone's TikTok is only filled with love
- 24:38Speaker 1: island ship now that he's doing happy detours with Calvin.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Cobb, not even her FU You're welcome, Lisa.
- 24:48Speaker 1: It reminded me though, because I was thinking, like the
- 24:52Speaker 1: ex soon to be ex wife is going to be livid, right,
- 24:55Speaker 1: like she's going toes, You're gonna fucking pay me my
- 24:59Speaker 1: money and try to like make this as right as
- 25:01Speaker 1: you possibly can given the circumstances. And I started over
- 25:06Speaker 1: the weekend watching your Friends and Neighbors. Am I saying
- 25:09Speaker 1: it right? Your neighbors and friends? I think it's your
- 25:12Speaker 1: friends and neighbors right on the other it's John Ham,
- 25:17Speaker 1: Amanda Pete, Olivia Munn.
- 25:20Speaker 2: It is Apple TV, Apple TV.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It is so good it came out. I'm always a
- 25:26Speaker 1: little bit behind the hype. People get really excited about
- 25:29Speaker 1: something and I just I'm down.
- 25:32Speaker 3: It's like season two or three when people are like,
- 25:35Speaker 3: you guys have to start, and then it's like, okay,
- 25:37Speaker 3: now I'll binge the first two seasons and catch up.
- 25:41Speaker 3: But like, I'm not the type of person who will
- 25:43Speaker 3: see it and be like, oh a season one.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Let me give it a shot.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Yeah that's how I am, too, Like I just discovered
- 25:50Speaker 1: Righteous Gemstones and it was on I just finished the
- 25:53Speaker 1: finale episode last night.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm on season two.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Yeah, we need to watch more. But Landing, good Lord,
- 26:04Speaker 3: that man, that man can he binges TV shows? Yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 3: Like during the day, like all this like when he
- 26:13Speaker 3: lived at the house. I know he's still doing it
- 26:15Speaker 3: in New York though. Like I'd come in at like
- 26:18Speaker 3: noon and he'd be on the computer, you know, doing
- 26:20Speaker 3: his work, but show, and then after work he'd be like.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I got to Lake season five, We got to
- 26:26Speaker 2: start it.
- 26:27Speaker 1: It's like, nah, I'm very specific on the time of
- 26:30Speaker 1: day that I watch certain shows. Oh, very specific. If
- 26:34Speaker 1: I walk in the house and it's like noon and
- 26:38Speaker 1: someone's put on Seinfeld as background noise, no, really, absolutely not.
- 26:44Speaker 1: The only background noise that can be playing is either
- 26:49Speaker 1: a news channel, no sports either that's nighttime too, a
- 26:52Speaker 1: news channel, or obviously Housewives.
- 26:56Speaker 3: O G.
- 26:57Speaker 2: That's funny. I'm no, I'd never thought of it.
- 27:01Speaker 3: But like I love watching like ESPAN or sports in
- 27:04Speaker 3: the morning because it recaps the night and all of that.
- 27:09Speaker 3: But when it comes like eleven o'clock, I have to
- 27:11Speaker 3: turn it off and I can't go back to ESPN
- 27:13Speaker 3: or anything like that until like four point thirty when
- 27:16Speaker 3: a game's about to come on, right, because I'm like,
- 27:18Speaker 3: if I'm watching it during the day, it throws me off.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I get that. So the reason because I'm almost
- 27:25Speaker 1: done with the John Hamm yeah, show your Friends and Neighbors.
- 27:30Speaker 1: And there I was watching episode two in Palm Springs
- 27:35Speaker 1: and it was kind of at the same time as
- 27:37Speaker 1: this guy. The cold play thing happened with Andy Byron,
- 27:40Speaker 1: and there was a line in this show where Olivia
- 27:44Speaker 1: Munn is going through a divorce. I think you know
- 27:47Speaker 1: what I'm gonna say, She's going through a divorce with
- 27:49Speaker 1: this He's not appealing to the eye. This guy, to
- 27:55Speaker 1: your eye, his name's Paul. To my eye, beauty's in
- 27:58Speaker 1: the eye of the beholder always. And I can say that.
- 28:02Speaker 1: You know, we all know my little track record.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I think you just like shitty sold to dudes.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Mm hmmmmm, couldn't you? Okay, ah, you're saying it because
- 28:14Speaker 1: most of them haven't been beautiful on the inside.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, And how funny though, back to your
- 28:19Speaker 3: first one, Yeah, who comes out head kids?
- 28:25Speaker 2: He was actually a good one.
- 28:26Speaker 1: It was a great one. And who comes out six'
- 28:29Speaker 1: four as a twin and you're both six four and
- 28:32Speaker 1: both way?
- 28:33Speaker 3: Hot they were good looking, DUDES i, know and not
- 28:37Speaker 3: only that their mom and dad were so.
- 28:39Speaker 2: DOPE i.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Know it was all just very. Fun, anyway back to the, Show,
- 28:46Speaker 1: john your neighbors and friends or your friends and. Neighbors
- 28:48Speaker 1: so they're having a guys night And, paul who Plays
- 28:53Speaker 1: Olivia's Olivia muns soon to be ex Husband paul has
- 28:58Speaker 1: cheated on her with this young twenty something year old
- 29:01Speaker 1: And John ham's sitting there Watching paul talk to the
- 29:05Speaker 1: boys about How olivia's trying to take him to the cleaners.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Whatever John ham's a little drunkie and he, says give
- 29:12Speaker 1: it a, Rest, paul and he's, like she's trying to drain.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Me trying to drain. Me coop is she's the mother
- 29:22Speaker 1: of your. Kids but before he says this very profound
- 29:26Speaker 1: and very true, statement he, says she this isn't, verbatim
- 29:31Speaker 1: but she basically fucked your fat ass and tiny dick for.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Years she deserves a. Piece AND i sat there and was,
- 29:39Speaker 1: like that line was written by a. Woman, there you've
- 29:45Speaker 1: worked in a writer's, room, right because WHEN i told you,
- 29:47Speaker 1: THAT i think it like a woman wrote. This you were,
- 29:49Speaker 1: like but it's a writer's room with multiple, People like
- 29:52Speaker 1: how does it?
- 29:52Speaker 3: Work, okay so one percent a woman wrote that, line
- 29:57Speaker 3: AND i this is WHAT i give. It it is,
- 30:00Speaker 3: Perfect but not only, That so what happens is like,
- 30:06Speaker 3: postcard a blank, wall huge blank, wall and like giant
- 30:10Speaker 3: like a whiteboard pretty, much, okay but we use like
- 30:13Speaker 3: tape and like because you want to be able to
- 30:16Speaker 3: rip off and misplace and do a whole bunch of.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Stuff.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Okay so when we walked in it literally is you
- 30:23Speaker 3: Pretty you have like a. Script obviously it gets picked
- 30:26Speaker 3: up to be in a writer's, room so you have
- 30:28Speaker 3: a layout of your room, print you have your first episode,
- 30:31Speaker 3: it so you put ON p two and then how
- 30:37Speaker 3: it'll start like literally bullet points of where you're going with.
- 30:41Speaker 3: It we're at the beach with, this this and, this,
- 30:46Speaker 3: okay so these people are gonna be, here what is this?
- 30:49Speaker 3: Scene and you structure it as like scenes in bullet
- 30:53Speaker 3: points with just where it is and who's. Involved from,
- 30:58Speaker 3: there the writers will kind of like be in contact
- 31:02Speaker 3: of like, Okay i'm taking the first, three you'll take these, three,
- 31:07Speaker 3: Okay and so all the riders get like a.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Bullet point of.
- 31:11Speaker 3: It so a woman will, get you, know this, piece this,
- 31:14Speaker 3: piece the guy will take this, piece this. Piece but
- 31:17Speaker 3: at the end of, it like we all are just
- 31:20Speaker 3: silent and you just hear.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Keyboards oh my, god.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Somebody gets, Up oh, yeah, no and it's, great and,
- 31:29Speaker 3: like you, know like that's the other thing is like
- 31:31Speaker 3: somebody's writing and he's, like hold, on what if on this,
- 31:36Speaker 3: scene this and, THIS i just had this Idea and
- 31:39Speaker 3: then everybody kind of sits back and you're, like, okay
- 31:44Speaker 3: let's sit back and get to the. Wall if we
- 31:47Speaker 3: go this, way let's put this piece down here now
- 31:51Speaker 3: and this bullet point up here and have these scenes
- 31:54Speaker 3: kind of flip because now it'll make more. Sense.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Ah and then they just keep.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Writing and then like you, know at four o'clock or
- 32:00Speaker 3: even at two sometimes we're, like, hey let's just email
- 32:04Speaker 3: or be on a phone call if we need, anything
- 32:06Speaker 3: but let's just go home and.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Write go home and.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Write, yeah you get back the next, day you have
- 32:11Speaker 3: like your print offs you're all read and throw them
- 32:13Speaker 3: and you see how that two planned, out and then
- 32:16Speaker 3: you go on to. Three and then once three hits
- 32:19Speaker 3: you can go back to two and see if it.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Does you'll go back and make green. Notes but it
- 32:23Speaker 3: gets like it's, wild and it's it's, yeah it's.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Difficult it sounds writing to. Me when you have a
- 32:31Speaker 1: show that is so perfectly, WRITTEN i sometimes wonder like
- 32:40Speaker 1: the number, one how many years it took to really
- 32:44Speaker 1: conquer the art of knowing how to. Write and it's
- 32:48Speaker 1: such a skill THAT i can tell you my ideas
- 32:52Speaker 1: and HOW i see, something but to hone in and
- 32:55Speaker 1: put it in. Writing and then these people who can
- 32:58Speaker 1: take something that happens season one and be able to
- 33:01Speaker 1: tie it in in such an intricate way into season,
- 33:04Speaker 1: Four i'm, like how the fuck did you even remember? That?
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yeah, no it's.
- 33:12Speaker 1: The talent THAT i really would never.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Possess you think, that you really do think.
- 33:17Speaker 3: That let me put it this, way it really is
- 33:21Speaker 3: incredible when you walk into the room every. Day i'd
- 33:25Speaker 3: walk in and just the feeling of, LIKE i feel
- 33:30Speaker 3: so creative just around these, people, right because and that's
- 33:36Speaker 3: the other thing with these, people AND i felt, like
- 33:39Speaker 3: you feel so. Free there's nothing that you can actually
- 33:42Speaker 3: say that it is a stupid question or, anything so
- 33:46Speaker 3: you can just.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Throw shit at the.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Wall, yeah and people are all doing the same because
- 33:52Speaker 3: no one, cares because creativity comes from. Anywhere, Yeah so
- 33:55Speaker 3: you're not afraid to, like is that a good? Idea
- 33:58Speaker 3: you're just saying, it you feel.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Because what you say someone else could pick up on
- 34:03Speaker 1: and be, LIKE i love. This this reminds me what
- 34:06Speaker 1: if we did? That Ye oh my. GOD i want
- 34:07Speaker 1: to be in a writer's right. Now AND i.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Was that was the. THING i was an assistant to
- 34:13Speaker 3: the writer's. Room but they were amazing and like what
- 34:18Speaker 3: we were writing. On it didn't get picked, up AND
- 34:20Speaker 3: i really am sad for everybody else that it didn't
- 34:24Speaker 3: because it was an amazing.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Show, yeah and it's BEEN i, mean it's been talked about.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Publicly it.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Was it was the show that was going to CAN
- 34:34Speaker 3: i say? It, yeah so it was going to be
- 34:37Speaker 3: Called Pump. Yeah And Michael konove, okay AND i Hope
- 34:43Speaker 3: i'm saying that. Correct it was he was the one
- 34:45Speaker 3: who wrote it got it picked, up But Michael.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Konove and it was.
- 34:51Speaker 1: With Arnold, schwarzenegger, Right Arnold.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Schwarzenegger and it was his life like in the early
- 34:58Speaker 3: days of The Body. Build it was At Muscle, Beach,
- 35:01Speaker 3: yeah like him not even, famous him literally working out
- 35:05Speaker 3: and like just with this guy and just putting him
- 35:09Speaker 3: in like positions that got him. Famous. Wow.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah amazing thing about that often how many shows
- 35:16Speaker 1: are pitched on a regular, Basis And i'm not trying
- 35:19Speaker 1: to be a, bitch but there are so many shows
- 35:21Speaker 1: THAT i see on streaming services or network, television and
- 35:28Speaker 1: BECAUSE i know the details and how long it takes
- 35:32Speaker 1: to get a show developed and then if it's good
- 35:36Speaker 1: enough to, invest have someone invest money to make a,
- 35:39Speaker 1: pilot and then you go into the process of pitching
- 35:41Speaker 1: it and then it gets turned down or gets picked.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Up BUT i look at these shows And i'm, LIKE
- 35:46Speaker 1: i know what this show went through to get it
- 35:49Speaker 1: where it. Is how did it make? It because on
- 35:53Speaker 1: to THIS tv right, now it.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Is back To seinfeld when they're making the show about
- 36:01Speaker 3: nothing M, m and he falls in love With, elane
- 36:04Speaker 3: so he's, Like i'll put the show.
- 36:06Speaker 1: On mm and then he goes ghost because A.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Lane, yeah but like you never know of like who

- 38:42Speaker 2: Right moving, on it, says it, says miss, ME i.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Guess even though you're a trash, human it doesn't mean

- 38:59Speaker 1: Cannot it was so genius and you.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Can put trash in front of it, too trash, can
- 39:06Speaker 3: but whatever you want cannot trash either. Way it.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Works and then there was a really sweet one that,
- 39:13Speaker 1: said this is why dogs are Happier and it's a
- 39:15Speaker 1: picture of a dog the man sitting together and it's
- 39:20Speaker 1: bubbles of what they're. Thinking i'll send this to so.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Cute the man's thinking about a big house in A
- 39:26Speaker 1: lamborghini and the dog is just picturing exactly what they're
- 39:29Speaker 1: doing in the.

- 39:49Speaker 1: a little hard when you're trying to go to. Bed

- 41:24Speaker 1: Time that's. Interesting i'll watch that. One honeybee venom killed

- 42:18Speaker 1: Woman next, One matthew McConaughey once, said never refriend someone
- 42:23Speaker 1: that has tried to destroy your, character, money or. RELATIONSHIP
- 42:26Speaker 1: a snake only sheds its skin to become a bigger. Snake,
- 42:30Speaker 1: Okay florida, Prediction fuck what your thumb says about your?
- 42:39Speaker 1: BRAIN i just and the final one to make me feel.
- 42:43Speaker 1: BETTER i have a feeling it says a woman with

- 43:04Speaker 1: Enough can we move on to some? News?
- 43:09Speaker 3: YEAH i mean was the rehabit of My, okay.
- 43:13Speaker 1: WELL i don't want to sit here.
- 43:14Speaker 3: While you listen to your addictions of the weather In.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Florida, YEAH i. Know do we believe THAT i haven't
- 43:20Speaker 1: watched it yet BECAUSE i was already in full. Panic
- 43:23Speaker 1: so you, guys before we move into the, news this
- 43:25Speaker 1: is the first piece of news THAT i want to
- 43:26Speaker 1: share THAT i watched on The Today. Show So ocean
- 43:29Speaker 1: the other. Day we were ALL i don't want to,
- 43:31Speaker 1: say ignoring, her but she wanted to watch a show
- 43:33Speaker 1: and we were all, busy so she just like turned
- 43:34Speaker 1: it on by herself and On pops The jaws fiftieth.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Anniversary so it's basically a documentary On netflix or maybe
- 43:44Speaker 1: it's On disney about How jaws was, made and all
- 43:49Speaker 1: of the sudden she is obsessed With. JAWS i kid,
- 43:53Speaker 1: you not you. Guys she makes me Turn jaws on
- 43:55Speaker 1: every single, night and FINALLY i was, LIKE i cannot
- 43:57Speaker 1: Watch jaws. Again SO i entered dud her to like
- 44:01Speaker 1: The National Geographic portion.
- 44:03Speaker 2: At, disney plus shark.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Files Loves shark, files loves all of these like people
- 44:09Speaker 1: swimming with. Sharks she started watching shark. Attacks, yeah that
- 44:13Speaker 1: she's Really, Easton.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Easton he got bit by a.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Shark he bled and, died, LIKE i don't know IF
- 44:22Speaker 1: i should be showing this to, you but but then,
- 44:24Speaker 1: AGAIN i do not want you in the.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Waters that's.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Scary SO i learned today listen to. Me so, this
- 44:32Speaker 1: this surf instructor is in the water In miami teaching a.
- 44:36Speaker 1: LESSON a shark comes up grabs him by the. Foot he,
- 44:39Speaker 1: said it just felt like tugging and then it felt,
- 44:41Speaker 1: hot which is was the teeth going into my? Foot.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Right he ends up getting the shark off of him
- 44:48Speaker 1: before it severs his. Achilles, god BUT i learned by
- 44:54Speaker 1: the Way miami shark capital of the. World the coast.
- 44:57Speaker 1: RIGHT i feel like we've been hearing about so many shark.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Attacks but if this will put your mind at, Ease
- 45:03Speaker 1: i'm gonna share. This there have only been so far
- 45:07Speaker 1: this year eight shark. Attacks there's been less sightings this
- 45:12Speaker 1: year than last and also last year again eight this
- 45:17Speaker 1: year thirty six last. Year most of them happening In.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Florida so they were, saying we know that everyone's afraid
- 45:25Speaker 1: of the water right now because it seems like these
- 45:28Speaker 1: are becoming more. Common but if it does make you
- 45:30Speaker 1: feel any, better they've actually gone. Down SO i looked
- 45:34Speaker 1: up why one of. Them one of the reasonings is
- 45:39Speaker 1: in certain parts of the, world there was a guy
- 45:43Speaker 1: who went all the way To South africa to swim
- 45:45Speaker 1: with a great white and he never saw. One and
- 45:48Speaker 1: the woman who works In South africa following. Sharks so
- 45:52Speaker 1: there's two. Reasons depending on the path where the sharks
- 45:55Speaker 1: go to. Hunt there are a lot of boats who
- 46:01Speaker 1: killed these sharks because it's a. Delicacy they.
- 46:06Speaker 2: They're used for fins.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Soup. Yeah the other massive reason is orcapods are now
- 46:13Speaker 1: very selective when hunting and they specifically are, hunting, yes
- 46:20Speaker 1: and they, know like they're so precise on what they carve.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Out so orcas are like another reason why you're not
- 46:28Speaker 1: going to be seeing as many, Sharks isn't that? Crazy?
- 46:32Speaker 3: Yeah BUT i kind of like.
- 46:33Speaker 1: THAT i, KNOW i Showed ocean my orca. Tattoo when
- 46:37Speaker 1: we heard, THAT i was, Like, OCEAN i love, orcas
- 46:40Speaker 1: you know HOW i call it the. Pod that's why
- 46:42Speaker 1: that's an. Orcipod there's an orchipod killing that. Shark right,
- 46:45Speaker 1: now we have a? Heyday what else has happened in the,
- 46:48Speaker 1: News Jax taylor is not returning for season three Of
- 46:52Speaker 1: The valley to focus on.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Recovery good for.
- 46:56Speaker 1: HIM i agree with, you AND i just feel like
- 47:00Speaker 1: it's a very delicate situation to be in because on
- 47:03Speaker 1: the one, Hand brittany is my nearest and dearest. Friend
- 47:08Speaker 1: she's one of my best, friends like we see each, other,
- 47:11Speaker 1: right AND i kind of am just following her lead
- 47:15Speaker 1: on how she wants me to handle this. Situation and
- 47:19Speaker 1: no matter what anybody thinks from the, outside recovery is
- 47:24Speaker 1: like the most important, thing Right And i'm the only
- 47:27Speaker 1: one a part of this friend group Besides jackson, now
- 47:31Speaker 1: but the only one who's in. Recovery SO i see
- 47:35Speaker 1: things not diminishing what he did To. Brittany BUT i
- 47:42Speaker 1: see that aspect of. Things so the fact that he's
- 47:45Speaker 1: saying he's taking a beat on focusing on his mental
- 47:49Speaker 1: health and his, Recovery, like no matter how any of
- 47:53Speaker 1: us view, him we can still stay true to viewing
- 47:57Speaker 1: him that. Way but with this specific thing of Saying
- 48:01Speaker 1: i'm taking a step back to focus on recovery and mental,
- 48:04Speaker 1: HEALTH i think that that is a very smart move
- 48:09Speaker 1: AND i think anybody who has half a brain can
- 48:13Speaker 1: get behind that. Statement you, know when.
- 48:16Speaker 3: You're trying to get, sober you're trying to get away
- 48:20Speaker 3: from everything that you kind of. Did you don't want
- 48:22Speaker 3: to believe how you, KNOW i mean speaking only for,
- 48:27Speaker 3: myself LIKE i didn't want to believe all the shitty
- 48:29Speaker 3: things THAT i did and things like. That and when
- 48:32Speaker 3: you're on a show like that and you're trying everything
- 48:35Speaker 3: that you can, do like trying to become better and
- 48:37Speaker 3: people are just like rehashing all of that mm, hmm
- 48:41Speaker 3: it's like it really.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Can fuck with.
- 48:44Speaker 3: You and so for him to just like take a
- 48:47Speaker 3: beat and to worry about that and to silence the outside,
- 48:51Speaker 3: noise you, KNOW i have a feeling that, things you,
- 48:55Speaker 3: know another show or even season four could appear for.
- 48:59Speaker 3: Him but if you were to take this, YEAR i
- 49:02Speaker 3: think a lot of people are gonna see a whole New,
- 49:05Speaker 3: jacks you.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Know, Yeah AND i don't want anything that we just
- 49:09Speaker 1: said to diminish What brittany has gone.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Through. Brittany and that's and that's the other thing that's you,
- 49:14Speaker 3: know speaking out of him, maybe but like For, jacks
- 49:20Speaker 3: that's he knows what he did To.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Brittany, WELL i don't entirely know if that's true or.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Not well, Maybe and that's there's a.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Thing it's going to take more than just a couple
- 49:29Speaker 1: months of sobriety to acknowledge it.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Will but it it being sober for those couple of
- 49:34Speaker 3: months and being, Like, Okay i'm getting, BETTER i am
- 49:37Speaker 3: doing those. Things i'm not that human Or i'm trying
- 49:40Speaker 3: to get away from that. Human but people are just rehashing.
- 49:43Speaker 3: It it's LIKE i, Like i'm, trying but Obviously i'm
- 49:48Speaker 3: AM i not doing well. Enough you. Know it's just
- 49:51Speaker 3: like you're trying to make other people happy when you
- 49:53Speaker 3: just need to focus on yourself and that. Day and
- 49:55Speaker 3: if you say sober that, day, great they'll.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Put a string.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Together the other three hundred and sixty five sober days
- 50:02Speaker 3: AND i hard for. Me i'm not saying THAT i
- 50:05Speaker 3: even can do, it BUT i found out in, that you,
- 50:08Speaker 3: know my sobriety that like the difference THAT i felt
- 50:14Speaker 3: Because i'm not getting whiplash from god knows how many, people,
- 50:19Speaker 3: Right but if you, know LIKE i was getting a
- 50:22Speaker 3: lot of love and if you're, NOT i can see
- 50:25Speaker 3: where that can turn you very sour.
- 50:31Speaker 2: And make you not worry about your. Sobriety, no you,
- 50:35Speaker 2: know but, No i'm.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Not saying, that especially when you feel like like you
- 50:41Speaker 1: you'll never be able to live down your actions that
- 50:45Speaker 1: were put out there on. Camera, yeah and there's.
- 50:49Speaker 3: The thing maybe in maybe you gotta just don't live them,
- 50:53Speaker 3: down just come to come to the fact that that's
- 50:58Speaker 3: just what you did and you gotta live with.
- 51:00Speaker 1: That and you, KNOW i think that's easier said than.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Done it is because you move on and then you
- 51:05Speaker 1: see one comment and realize everyone else hasn't moved, on
- 51:07Speaker 1: even if most people. Have you fixate on the. Negative But,
- 51:12Speaker 1: brittany through all of, This brittany's the victim in, this
- 51:15Speaker 1: and even The, internet she has, said has been pretty
- 51:19Speaker 1: hard on. Her AND i think that's completely. Unfair it's
- 51:23Speaker 1: very easy to throw stones from afar and every single
- 51:27Speaker 1: person lives in a. Glasshouse if we were to put
- 51:30Speaker 1: cameras on anybody's life and you lived, authentically we could
- 51:35Speaker 1: all find some things that you a lot of, faults
- 51:38Speaker 1: things that you maybe could be doing. Differently and we
- 51:40Speaker 1: also come from our own experiences traumas and, perspective which
- 51:44Speaker 1: is a real bitch as.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Well and that's a fault may not be a fault to,
- 51:47Speaker 2: you that it's a fault to. Me so how AM
- 51:49Speaker 2: i to judge you or you to judge?
- 51:50Speaker 1: Me, no it's a. Lot just being a person is a.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Lot AND i Think brittany has handled everything. Beautifully she's
- 51:58Speaker 1: stepped up taking care of her. Son Uh, no one
- 52:01Speaker 1: hustles harder Than britney cart, Right AND i do see
- 52:06Speaker 1: a version at some point of them being able to
- 52:09Speaker 1: co parent in a very healthy. WAY i think if
- 52:13Speaker 1: he puts his head, down focuses on the, work you,
- 52:16Speaker 1: know a year goes by so. Quickly if you just say,
- 52:20Speaker 1: Like i'm dedicating this year to, myself you, KNOW i
- 52:23Speaker 1: think about how hard it was for, me you, know
- 52:29Speaker 1: LEAVING tv and me saying LIKE i want to hunker.
- 52:32Speaker 1: DOWN i want TO i want to fall off the.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Map AND i just don't want. PEOPLE i don't want
- 52:37Speaker 1: people to look at, me notice, me talk about me them,
- 52:40Speaker 1: LIKE i just need a. Year and here we are
- 52:43Speaker 1: in talks, about you, know re entering the world beyond
- 52:48Speaker 1: just this, podcast And i'm having a full panic, attack
- 52:50Speaker 1: Like i'm not. READY i still you, know and it's
- 52:54Speaker 1: it's been a couple of, years And i'm, like, no,
- 52:55Speaker 1: no it's all, righty the time's. Done i'm Not i'm not.
- 52:59Speaker 1: Done AND i need a whole nother year to just.
- 53:02Speaker 2: Kind of like chill. OUT i needed a year to, LIKE.
- 53:07Speaker 1: I need just a year to, process and then a
- 53:10Speaker 1: year to come to, terms and then a year to
- 53:12Speaker 1: enter my. Life SO i need a solid three years
- 53:14Speaker 1: off and.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Then a year to, prepare and then a year to
- 53:18Speaker 3: prepare the four.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Years where do you see yourself in five years just
- 53:23Speaker 1: barely feeling? Prepared the next five? YEARS i picture myself,
- 53:29Speaker 1: prepared pretty.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Prepared how about it just start to do you see
- 53:33Speaker 2: yourself in five years? Prepared? NO i like you like
- 53:37Speaker 2: whatever you said to be pretty?
- 53:38Speaker 1: Prepared, then, yeah this is kind of A i was
- 53:44Speaker 1: hoping to go off on a high, note But Erica
- 53:47Speaker 1: jane's a strange. Hubby Tom girardi reports to prison to
