Man Charged After Gun Attack in WV | Charleston News
In Mingo County, West Virginia, a violent confrontation erupted when George Runyon, a 57-year-old with a history of domestic violence and illegal firearm possession, allegedly struck a man with a gun after an argument. The victim suffered a serious head wound and sought medical help, while troopers found two firearms at Runyon’s Homestead Drive residence. Now charged with malicious wounding and two counts of prohibited firearm possession, Runyon is jailed pending further investigation by the West Virginia State Police.
