Cocina Filipina is rolling out of the food truck and into a full-blown restaurant on August 1st at 3801 W Vliet St in Milwaukee’s Near West Side — their “forever home” after years of serving legendary lumpia and rice bowls on wheels. The grand opening is a full block party from 3–8 p.m., featuring both the food truck and new menu, plus desserts from Ube MKE, live music from local acts, and dog-friendly vibes.
