- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Today's drama is Below Deck Med, and Deanna Chang is
- 0:25Speaker 2: here with me to discuss the intensity of what happened
- 0:30Speaker 2: on this week's episode.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Good afternoon to you, good day, good day, miss Amy.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Thank you, Penelope Phillips. It is a pleasure should be.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Here on such an occasion as this. I mean, I
- 0:48Speaker 2: don't know like where to begin except for Darling's on
- 0:53Speaker 2: Below Deck Med is titled dirty Laundry, and that in fact,
- 0:58Speaker 2: it was.
- 1:00Speaker 3: So hard to know even how to start because it's
- 1:05Speaker 3: so big for us and what happened. Yeah, it's like,
- 1:13Speaker 3: is it tough when we lose an anchor or we
- 1:16Speaker 3: crash into the dock. Sure, that's always going to be tough.
- 1:19Speaker 3: When someone's almost their leg is almost taken out by
- 1:24Speaker 3: the chain that's going a million miles per hour, those
- 1:27Speaker 3: are hard times. But this was a really tough one.
- 1:32Speaker 2: It truly truly was ohb duh. And that means that
- 1:37Speaker 2: we are in our recap, which means we're just getting
- 1:40Speaker 2: right to it. So oh spoiler alert if you have
- 1:43Speaker 2: not watched this week's episode. We've never said that for
- 1:46Speaker 2: a Below Deck Mad before, but just know, yeah, that
- 1:51Speaker 2: Captain Sandy's white capris are in peril as they've never
- 1:57Speaker 2: been before. We've watched season after season of Below Deck Mad.
- 2:02Speaker 2: We are on season nine and we've seen Sandy's white
- 2:05Speaker 2: capris go through it all her coming in the galley
- 2:10Speaker 2: with those nice type white capris.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Let's sho it again. How dare you look at it?
- 2:20Speaker 2: You're gonna love when you hear my cabaret song because
- 2:23Speaker 2: it's all about the white capris, and in it it's
- 2:27Speaker 2: a to the music. I mean, there's a lot in
- 2:30Speaker 2: that song that I sing. It's a parody song of
- 2:35Speaker 2: sitting on the dock of the bay, but it's sitting
- 2:39Speaker 2: on a super yacht hey, and the chorus really is
- 2:43Speaker 2: about the white capris. So last week Deanna and I
- 2:49Speaker 2: were really going through the laundry stuff with Brie and Ellie,
- 2:54Speaker 2: and once Sandy got hit, you know, no.
- 2:59Speaker 3: One will was spared.
- 3:01Speaker 2: No one was spared on this crew. That being said,
- 3:05Speaker 2: Captain Sandy was the next one and her polo shirts
- 3:08Speaker 2: were like lost, they weren't returned to her. It was
- 3:12Speaker 2: a concern, and so Deane and I were like, oh,
- 3:15Speaker 2: it's a good thing that those white Caprizar haven't been
- 3:18Speaker 2: touched yet and are in still good condition. God forbid.
- 3:22Speaker 2: You know that happens, and then Sandy will not give
- 3:26Speaker 2: three chances. And we don't want to see that day.
- 3:29Speaker 2: We don't want to rue that day.
- 3:31Speaker 3: I don't want to like bear witness to that. You know,
- 3:34Speaker 3: I don't want to because we all know as women,
- 3:41Speaker 3: you know, comes summertime, there's not you either choose to
- 3:47Speaker 3: be a white pant goal or you actively take a
- 3:51Speaker 3: stand against it. There's really no in between.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Wow wow.
- 3:59Speaker 3: And when we choose white pant, we know what we're
- 4:05Speaker 3: saying to the world is I am so together, I'm
- 4:10Speaker 3: so on top of my shit. Yes, yes, that I
- 4:16Speaker 3: can slide on a white pant.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Be it a capri, a capri alan, a kolott,
- 4:26Speaker 2: be it a dress pant, a slack, relaxed fit, you
- 4:31Speaker 2: name it, you name it.
- 4:33Speaker 3: But when you're sliding on a white pant, you know
- 4:38Speaker 3: what you're doing because it can go wrong. Minute one.
- 4:46Speaker 2: And and uniforms aside, because like you know, we all
- 4:50Speaker 2: know that there's a certain uniform that they have to
- 4:54Speaker 2: wear on a on a super yacht. And but she
- 4:58Speaker 2: could probably maybe choose a khaki. Perhaps she might like
- 5:05Speaker 2: and she but here's the thing. She doesn't like pants
- 5:09Speaker 2: and she doesn't like shorts. So caprice, you know, and
- 5:15Speaker 2: it's the best of both worlds. You're gonna get what
- 5:17Speaker 2: you get with Captain Sandy. So yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 3: And when she slides a crisp capri on, slides them
- 5:24Speaker 3: up those thick, you know, tone.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Muscleller tanned tan, captain pies.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Captain thighs, she is, I just want to like, let's
- 5:37Speaker 3: hear it for Captain thighs. You know, come on, Captain thighs.
- 5:44Speaker 3: She's saying, I can handle this vessel.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I can handle this vessel without a spot on
- 5:52Speaker 2: my caprice. Thank you you. Yeah.
- 5:56Speaker 3: So what we saw this week.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Wow, wow wow wow wow wow wow.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Just it was.
- 6:07Speaker 2: It is a dirty, dirty, dirty mess offensive, unholy if
- 6:12Speaker 2: you will. The way that those capris were shown next
- 6:17Speaker 2: to a stark white fabric to show the difference between
- 6:21Speaker 2: what her capris turned into in the laundry room and
- 6:26Speaker 2: what they should look like. Brie, you have some splaining
- 6:31Speaker 2: to do.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I also want to talk about and I don't know,
- 6:36Speaker 3: are we here now or are we we're here? Okay, okay,
- 6:41Speaker 3: we're here.
- 6:41Speaker 2: The kickstands are up with the fenders are out, like
- 6:45Speaker 2: we've docked. We've docked in the White Capri, dirty white
- 6:48Speaker 2: Capri city, you know, of Greece.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Okay, So I went back because for a little darlingch
- 6:59Speaker 3: just so you know, I watched this particular episode, I
- 7:03Speaker 3: guess yesterday it was or two days ago, I can't
- 7:07Speaker 3: remember now.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I watched it on Tuesday night.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Tuesday, watch it on Tuesday night. And when I heard
- 7:17Speaker 3: Cap go over the microphone and say, hey, Brie, Brie,
- 7:24Speaker 3: can you pop back in my cabin?
- 7:27Speaker 2: Pop back? Yeah, she did say pop back.
- 7:30Speaker 3: There was something about that pop back in my cabin
- 7:34Speaker 3: that sent chills up my hand and up my arm,
- 7:38Speaker 3: up my leg. I I go, oh, I don't there's
- 7:43Speaker 3: something about that. Yes, I knew it was going to
- 7:47Speaker 3: be laundry related, you know, obviously, no doubt, no doubt.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Please get a laundry note, you know. But the pop
- 7:57Speaker 3: pop back in, it was like she was trying to
- 8:01Speaker 3: cover up the anger. Put a little top on that
- 8:04Speaker 3: engyeah you know.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Had because it was seething, fuming was boiling over. So
- 8:11Speaker 2: she had to throw in a cutesy word to cover
- 8:14Speaker 2: her Yeah, a little less.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Trying to regulate herself, her own self. Letters were rough.
- 8:27Speaker 3: So then what happened next I think was cinema because
- 8:35Speaker 3: we never saw Captain Sandy's face.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Wow. Wow, Yes, Scorsese took control this.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah. Now I don't know if that's because Captain wasn't
- 8:51Speaker 3: camera ready or she didn't need to be seen. It
- 8:55Speaker 3: was almost more powerful to let the white capri folded
- 9:03Speaker 3: underneath the dingy, sullied capri, to have that visual that
- 9:13Speaker 3: was and she did that to say, like, Brie, I
- 9:18Speaker 3: don't know if you have can we just spend it?
- 9:21Speaker 3: Oh wait, I gotta spend it.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I have a screenshot and I put it up for
- 9:25Speaker 2: the darlings who are watching this. And if you haven't
- 9:29Speaker 2: seen this, there was a side by side you so
- 9:33Speaker 2: that that is another capri in the back.
- 9:35Speaker 3: There, that's a fresh capri in the back.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Okay, So I just thought that was like a regular
- 9:40Speaker 2: piece of white fabric. This is so much more intense.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Maybe it is, Amy, I don't know that I can
- 9:47Speaker 3: tell one hundred percent. Maybe I assumed it was a
- 9:49Speaker 3: fresh yea.
- 9:50Speaker 2: It doesn't well, it doesn't.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Make to say yeah, it doesn't.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I thought, you know, I think it was I think
- 9:57Speaker 2: it's her laundry bag, her white laundry bag, which you know,
- 10:04Speaker 2: a laundry bag is gonna get some wear and tear
- 10:05Speaker 2: on it, so that's not even gonna be stark white.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So to see the dingy come through it is like
- 10:11Speaker 2: these huh.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Fingers are those breeze fingers with the little with the
- 10:17Speaker 3: little uh ring ring.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I definitely can this is Captain Sandy's hand.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Obviously.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Is that a white nail, yeah, extremely can. I don't
- 10:33Speaker 2: think that Captain Sandy has a thumb ring, and it's
- 10:35Speaker 2: a different color skin, so I think that that's bree
- 10:39Speaker 2: right there, I'm guessing.
- 10:41Speaker 3: So that leads me to believe Captain pulled that either
- 10:45Speaker 3: white bag or sheet or you know, alternate capri out
- 10:53Speaker 3: and then she made breathe her own with her own
- 10:58Speaker 3: ring of thumbs place she does have to, you know,
- 11:03Speaker 3: place the dingy against it. Like it's almost like what
- 11:09Speaker 3: you would do at the dogs.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Sh and say, don't ship on my carpet.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Yeah, well, don't do that. But also in the court,
- 11:18Speaker 3: I feel like that's what they say they do, don't
- 11:21Speaker 3: do that. But she made her yeah sniff her own ship.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's yeah, look here's your ship. Sniff sniff
- 11:36Speaker 2: it baby, all right, now get the hell out of here.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Don't show my face, Yeah.
- 11:41Speaker 3: No, don't. It's not don't my what my face would
- 11:46Speaker 3: relay is actually unnecessary because this white on dingy tells
- 11:54Speaker 3: enough of the story. Honey, we don't even you don't
- 11:57Speaker 3: even need to see it. You don't even need to
- 11:59Speaker 3: see it. Wow. Wow.
- 12:04Speaker 2: So so then when she walks down the stairs, right,
- 12:09Speaker 2: and Asia could smell the ship from a mile away,
- 12:14Speaker 2: right because she's she seemed to. She's like, oh no,
- 12:20Speaker 2: somebody ship somewhere. I can smell it. And she comes
- 12:25Speaker 2: a running. So so then she's walking down the stairs
- 12:33Speaker 2: and Asha says like, uh oh, yeah, she's well, Sandy
- 12:38Speaker 2: says these aren't white. They must have been put in
- 12:41Speaker 2: with darks or something.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Then Asha's like, remember, even with colors cratches, you shouldn't
- 12:48Speaker 2: be putting lloyds and talks together. They should always be separate.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And that's her whispering, and then breeze like I did.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And then Asha's like poolmis She's like, I promise. Like
- 13:06Speaker 2: so She's basically like are you sure about that? And meanwhile,
- 13:12Speaker 2: she had to have put the lights in the darks.
- 13:16Speaker 3: We see that, the capri we.
- 13:19Speaker 2: See it, so she's by her face.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I don't know what she is. This is I think, yeah, please, no, no, no, no,
- 13:29Speaker 3: this is.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Diabolical, that that laundry list of crimes is diabolical and
- 13:35Speaker 2: is bordering on crazy town. Like, I don't know what
- 13:39Speaker 2: to say about it.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Well, I went, I see, now I am. This is
- 13:43Speaker 3: a good Okay, this is important because I will say
- 13:48Speaker 3: that Ellie had me lloling a few times this episode.
- 13:53Speaker 2: She is always doing that to us.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Good for her, you know, she is actually funny when
- 14:00Speaker 3: she's not being annoying. Oh she's like funny, you know,
- 14:03Speaker 3: and she's plenty annoying, Yeah, plenty, Like I don't think
- 14:07Speaker 3: we'd be friends with that said. She's making me laugh
- 14:11Speaker 3: with the list of laundry crimes. Yeah, took me out. Yeah, Like,
- 14:16Speaker 3: but I mean did we hear? I mean I heard
- 14:21Speaker 3: Brie say that it was her suggestion to keep a notebook.
- 14:28Speaker 3: And then I don't think the crimes were on Ellie.
- 14:31Speaker 3: They were just laundry situations.
- 14:35Speaker 2: They were on they were all on Kaoe. Like That's
- 14:38Speaker 2: what I don't understand. First of all, yes, Ellie told her.
- 14:43Speaker 2: She says, like this place is a mess, Like there
- 14:47Speaker 2: needs to be a notebook up here so you can
- 14:48Speaker 2: categorize and figure out what's what. Maybe she didn't explain why,
- 14:54Speaker 2: how to use a notebook and what kind of notes
- 14:57Speaker 2: she was supposed to write, But I would imagine it
- 15:00Speaker 2: would be along the lines of, you know, washer number one,
- 15:06Speaker 2: ten forty am, guests, clothes, colors only delegates, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 2: delivered at twelve thirty. I don't know. You know, a log,
- 15:16Speaker 2: if you will, a captain's log, but for the laundry
- 15:20Speaker 2: nowhere was it ever meant to be ratting out what
- 15:24Speaker 2: other people did, unless you're trying to cover your ass,
- 15:27Speaker 2: in which case, if this crime, this laundry crime, actually
- 15:33Speaker 2: is Gail's fault, then we have a whole other situation
- 15:37Speaker 2: on our hands, and that log will save her if
- 15:40Speaker 2: she's writing down everyone's problems. But why is Gail so
- 15:43Speaker 2: involved in laundry?
- 15:45Speaker 3: I don't think she is. And I could be so
- 15:49Speaker 3: dead wrong on this amy, but I think she wasn't
- 15:52Speaker 3: saying this was Gail's laundry work. This was Gail's stuff
- 15:57Speaker 3: that she was managing. She was identifying. Oh, but I
- 16:02Speaker 3: don't know.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I Oh wow, I completely.
- 16:06Speaker 3: But I think that's but that's the funniest freakin' part
- 16:09Speaker 3: if that is the case. She's looking at her own
- 16:13Speaker 3: work and going like calling yourself out, calling herself out,
- 16:18Speaker 3: be like, God, it looks smells bad, but it was clean,
- 16:23Speaker 3: Like she's calling herself out here.
- 16:26Speaker 2: No, you're right, that's of course what it is. That
- 16:27Speaker 2: makes no sense because Gail's never We've never seen her
- 16:29Speaker 2: in the laundry room. Once. I had this so wrong.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I was thinking, like, why is Gail in there? Why
- 16:35Speaker 2: is she calling out Gail?
- 16:37Speaker 3: No, But it took me. I had to go back
- 16:40Speaker 3: and look at it. I really did, because I was like, wait,
- 16:43Speaker 3: I don't remember seeing Ellie's name highlighted. So I was like,
- 16:48Speaker 3: are these I mean, I think you take one look
- 16:50Speaker 3: at that log and you're just like it's so intense
- 16:53Speaker 3: that you just assume it's it's a log of laundry crimes,
- 16:59Speaker 3: you know, but actually it's like a log of killers confessional. Yeah.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Killers. Yeah, this is so wild. I just had it
- 17:11Speaker 2: so dead wrong, like I'm I feel so like I
- 17:15Speaker 2: bamboozled my own self here. Yeah, it makes so much
- 17:19Speaker 2: self sense because no color catchers with Gael's load bottom right. Yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 2: of course, Gale stuff.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Oh you haven't written Okay, good wait, okay, give it,
- 17:27Speaker 3: give it.
- 17:28Speaker 2: No color catchers with Gael's load bottom right. Gale stuff
- 17:33Speaker 2: was put in clean pile but smelt dirty. Smelt.
- 17:38Speaker 3: It's crazy, it'srazzy, It's just crazy, like what And I
- 17:49Speaker 3: get the sense you you then delivered smelly clothes back,
- 17:53Speaker 3: you know.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah, So all right, I'm still just reeling from my
- 18:05Speaker 2: huge mistake. But now Ellie says that Bria is writing interconfessional,
- 18:11Speaker 2: Brie is writing a laundry list of laundry crimes of
- 18:14Speaker 2: mistakes she's found, right. But that's where it threw me
- 18:18Speaker 2: off that she was finding it from other people. But
- 18:20Speaker 2: now I get it. I feel like she's finding Oh,
- 18:24Speaker 2: I feel like she's finding her own mistakes and blaming
- 18:26Speaker 2: it on me. But yeah, again, we don't see Ellie's name,
- 18:31Speaker 2: did we.
- 18:32Speaker 3: No, I didn't see her name, And that's not to
- 18:34Speaker 3: say it wasn't there. But I think let's not be
- 18:37Speaker 3: hard on ourselves at our initial first thank you, because
- 18:41Speaker 3: it's very nice, because the truth of it is Ellie
- 18:44Speaker 3: was confused, Asha was confused, and we were confused, you know,
- 18:50Speaker 3: I had to go back and try to understand it
- 18:52Speaker 3: one more time, Like weed was Ellie called out on
- 18:56Speaker 3: any specific crimes, and I don't think she was. I
- 18:59Speaker 3: think that like, it's very shocking to know that Bree
- 19:03Speaker 3: is writing down her crime, her own crimes.
- 19:06Speaker 2: And by calling it a burn book, it makes it
- 19:08Speaker 2: sound like it's stuff about other people. But I guess
- 19:12Speaker 2: it's not other people, it's.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Her, which it makes you like kind of love her.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, crazy, this is yeah, this definitely took
- 19:22Speaker 2: a turn for me. This is great. Okay. So we
- 19:26Speaker 2: are just left with that and then the god this
- 19:31Speaker 2: laundry room drama is something else because later when like
- 19:37Speaker 2: Ellie can't find anything to do, so she goes into
- 19:40Speaker 2: the laundry room and and uh and she's like she's
- 19:47Speaker 2: in there, and Bree walks in and is like, I've
- 19:52Speaker 2: got washing and Ellie's like, I mean, just the drama
- 19:56Speaker 2: with the double take that good. She she just really
- 20:03Speaker 2: plays a camera on that. But it's like, Kermit the frock,
- 20:07Speaker 2: are you talking to me? It's where she gets me laughing.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Are you talking to your hierarchy stew like that? You know?
- 20:20Speaker 2: So she's just stuck in her tracks and and quite honestly,
- 20:24Speaker 2: I was like feeling the same way, like, wow, that
- 20:27Speaker 2: is rude to say to your you know, the second
- 20:29Speaker 2: stew But most certainly Ellie cannot handle anything like that,
- 20:35Speaker 2: so she goes overboard.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Ellie's system is not set up for herself and it's
- 20:43Speaker 3: certainly not for others. Like whatever system is, it has
- 20:47Speaker 3: a lot of holes in it, and when you add
- 20:50Speaker 3: somebody else into the mix, it's like it's just gonna
- 20:54Speaker 3: go so off the rails. Like she is barely holding
- 20:58Speaker 3: on by a thread with that oak book, throwing another
- 21:03Speaker 3: human body who has who's making additional piles and like
- 21:07Speaker 3: oh black.
- 21:10Speaker 2: And the piles like breeze, Like I've got my messy piles,
- 21:13Speaker 2: but I don't want her to mess up my messy piles.
- 21:16Speaker 2: And yeah, but wow, she leaves, she does acquiesce and
- 21:23Speaker 2: she just takes her little pile of stuff and she
- 21:26Speaker 2: leaves that laundry room, even though she's not thrilled about it,
- 21:30Speaker 2: and she's like, I'm doing a job, so please stop
- 21:35Speaker 2: trying to chase me out. And then she she just
- 21:38Speaker 2: gets chased out. She just like doesn't know what to say. Yeah,
- 21:42Speaker 2: so all right, well before we continue down this laundry
- 21:47Speaker 2: laundry hole that we're in because we're not going to
- 21:50Speaker 2: be leaving it any time soon. But I would really
- 21:54Speaker 2: love to talk about Honeylove shape wear, which I'm so
- 21:58Speaker 2: obsessed with. I know where to get my shapewear and
- 22:01Speaker 2: that's Honeylove. Thank you very much, Honeylove. I love my
- 22:04Speaker 2: shapewear from them. I've talked a lot about their bras.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I'm completely in love with the Silhouette bra. That's my
- 22:11Speaker 2: real go to. It's like an everyday one for me.
- 22:14Speaker 2: The Crossover Bra is one of their best selling bras.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It's super comfortable and it's really sexy, So check that
- 22:21Speaker 2: one out. But you know it doesn't stop there. Honeylove
- 22:23Speaker 2: is more than just bras. They have incredible comfortable shapewear
- 22:27Speaker 2: and tanks and leggings for everyday support and support for
- 22:32Speaker 2: our speaking of support, support for today's episode comes from Honeylove.

- 28:24Speaker 2: back into below deckmed. Now we're in the laundry room
- 28:27Speaker 2: because we're just stuck here, just we have to be
- 28:30Speaker 2: all right.
- 28:30Speaker 3: So I don't want to be anywhere else, to be honest,
- 28:34Speaker 3: I mean, who am I going to go over with?
- 28:36Speaker 1: Ian? No?
- 28:36Speaker 3: I want to be in the laundry room.
- 28:38Speaker 1: You know.
- 28:40Speaker 2: This, Ian Wow, I can jump on rocks. Look at me,
- 28:43Speaker 2: I can jump on rocks.
- 28:47Speaker 3: We've had so many bosuns through the years, Yeah, so
- 28:55Speaker 3: many agro ones. But like, there's something about this guy
- 28:59Speaker 3: that I'm like, give me one of those toxic bosins
- 29:02Speaker 3: over this dumb.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Dumb Yeah, I agree with you his Yeah, he's got
- 29:12Speaker 2: a lot of attitude and it doesn't need to be
- 29:15Speaker 2: there because he doesn't.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Have the work to back it up. And that's what's unfortunate.
- 29:21Speaker 3: I can't make heads or tails of this guy, but
- 29:23Speaker 3: he bugs me.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Yeah. And by the way, Gail for the wind when
- 29:28Speaker 2: they went to doc and she put all of those
- 29:32Speaker 2: swim uh oh, what do they call him? Swim decks,
- 29:36Speaker 2: swim floaties, the hold on, I want to know that
- 29:44Speaker 2: swim platform thank you.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:47Speaker 2: She put the swim platforms together so that they would
- 29:50Speaker 2: be able to go to the flatter rock. How Ian
- 29:53Speaker 2: wasn't even thinking about that except for just jumping on
- 29:56Speaker 2: the rocks to show that he can jump around on
- 29:58Speaker 2: rocks is beyond me.
- 30:00Speaker 3: How he didn't see the two guys who were going
- 30:03Speaker 3: to tie off the boat, two large gentlemen waiting in
- 30:07Speaker 3: the spot where you tie off the boat. He's like,
- 30:10Speaker 3: no one there.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Well I did rewind it and I don't know. Okay,
- 30:17Speaker 2: So when he said there's no one there, they had
- 30:21Speaker 2: not gotten to that point on the dock yet.
- 30:24Speaker 3: They were fixing to though, they were heading up the dock.
- 30:27Speaker 2: So if I would imagine so, but that shot did
- 30:31Speaker 2: not show them at the end of the deck. And
- 30:35Speaker 2: but that being said, look alive, looked to the right,
- 30:38Speaker 2: looked to the left.
- 30:39Speaker 3: You know.
- 30:40Speaker 2: So I'm on board with throwing him under the bus regardless,
- 30:44Speaker 2: thank you. And because Gil is like screaming, there are
- 30:48Speaker 2: no there are there are there are so like correct
- 30:52Speaker 2: it and and it really put a wrinkle in Captain
- 30:55Speaker 2: Sandy's capriz at that point because she's like, you know,
- 30:58Speaker 2: it really threw her for lip. She's like, I'm not
- 31:00Speaker 2: I'm not going to dock unless there's someone that can
- 31:02Speaker 2: throw the landlines too, bow lines whatever.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Well yeah, you know, yeah, sure rocks there.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Like after all of that.
- 31:16Speaker 3: You gotta tie off.
- 31:17Speaker 2: You know.
- 31:20Speaker 3: He just is inept and his energy is like a
- 31:26Speaker 3: low energy with he just seems dim and I can't
- 31:31Speaker 3: take it, like he's bugging me in every way.
- 31:35Speaker 2: He's the person that's like, oh there's this and then
- 31:38Speaker 2: they just stop there. They don't go beyond that. You know,
- 31:43Speaker 2: I've done enough. This is what it is. I'm not
- 31:45Speaker 2: going to think beyond that. Here, this is the problem.
- 31:48Speaker 2: The problem is in front of me. There's nothing I'm
- 31:50Speaker 2: going to do about it. No, that's zero. How do
- 31:53Speaker 2: you get to be a bosin when you're not a
- 31:55Speaker 2: problem solver? Is what I have to know. And this
- 31:58Speaker 2: might be again credit to have how they jumped right
- 32:03Speaker 2: into this season based on what happened with the below
- 32:06Speaker 2: deck sailing cancelation in the middle of their season, and
- 32:10Speaker 2: they had to just scrounge together these misfit toys like Johno,
- 32:16Speaker 2: this self taught chef that's not consistent and he's pulled.
- 32:22Speaker 2: He's pulled, Yeah, Brie who you know can't pull the
- 32:26Speaker 2: corner of a bed, and yeah in the burn book.
- 32:30Speaker 2: And then Ian who just is like he's good for nothing.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Good, no zero critical thinking to your point, like nothing,
- 32:38Speaker 3: no ability. It feels like the patriarchy because you know
- 32:43Speaker 3: what a woman has to do to get that position
- 32:45Speaker 3: and hold it, and like you just know that this
- 32:49Speaker 3: guy and his big old forehead just just failed up.
- 32:54Speaker 2: You know, failed up, failed up.
- 33:01Speaker 3: The last sailed up.
- 33:04Speaker 2: So all right, should we head back down to the
- 33:08Speaker 2: laundry room.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm seeing I have a sentence written here and
- 33:12Speaker 3: I don't remember what it is in reference to, but
- 33:15Speaker 3: I wrote the sentence laundry to laundry to be collected
- 33:19Speaker 3: just shook me to the bone. I don't know who
- 33:23Speaker 3: said laundry to be collected, but I got really scared. Oh.
- 33:26Speaker 3: I think I just got scared because it meant like
- 33:31Speaker 3: they have to collect the laundry and who knows what's
- 33:33Speaker 3: going to happen next. But that you mean, like, yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 3: and maybe that was it. Maybe that was it as scary.
- 33:44Speaker 2: By the way, if I could circle back to the beginning,
- 33:47Speaker 2: when they were leaving that doc which we left off
- 33:50Speaker 2: with last week, and there was that two hundred million
- 33:55Speaker 2: dollar yacht in front of them that the guest was like,
- 34:01Speaker 2: it's a two hundred million dollar yacht, And we found
- 34:05Speaker 2: out that the owner is Arthur Blank, who is an
- 34:12Speaker 2: American businessman. He's best known for being a co founder
- 34:16Speaker 2: of the home improvement provement retailer the Home Depot. Blank
- 34:21Speaker 2: owns two professional sports teams based in Atlanta, Georgia, the
- 34:24Speaker 2: Atlanta Falcons of the NFL and Atlanta United FC of
- 34:29Speaker 2: Major League Soccer, the latter of which one blah blah
- 34:33Speaker 2: blah blah blah. Okay, pretty cool. So yeah, so that's
- 34:37Speaker 2: the home depot guy. How about that. I didn't know
- 34:41Speaker 2: who that was.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you for that. That's that's pretty epic. M hm.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Extremely Now when they were pulling out and they got
- 34:51Speaker 2: one meter from the ground line of that yacht, wow, wow.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I couldn't believe it. And Sandy was on a high.
- 35:02Speaker 2: You could see the adrenaline was pumping and she was loving,
- 35:05Speaker 2: loving it, loving, and Nathan killed it on the bow,
- 35:10Speaker 2: calling out the meters and the guests applauded, and the
- 35:15Speaker 2: fire was getting near. It was crazy and then yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 35:21Speaker 3: I asked, you know, Wings Merchant Marine, and I asked
- 35:24Speaker 3: him what he thought of that exit, and he was like, yeah,
- 35:27Speaker 3: it was tight, you know, you know what I mean,
- 35:31Speaker 3: but you know, boat person, a boat person, he was.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I was like, are you tipping your hat to Sandy.
- 35:36Speaker 3: He's like absolutely, wow, you know, as someone who drives tugboats.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm happy to hear that. And I also
- 35:50Speaker 2: loved that she had such a pep in her step
- 35:52Speaker 2: that like, I'm trying to think of where I wrote
- 35:56Speaker 2: it down. She was like, oh, yeah, they when they
- 35:58Speaker 2: were docking in Hydra or Idra, she was like, I'm
- 36:02Speaker 2: gonna back down like a mofo. Did you remember that
- 36:05Speaker 2: part where she looked at the camera and they left it.
- 36:07Speaker 3: In Oh god, oh Sandy, because they were back in
- 36:13Speaker 3: by those rocks, and the terminology is like backing down,
- 36:19Speaker 3: you know, right, So she went straight into that camera,
- 36:23Speaker 3: looked right into it, and she just was joking around,
- 36:26Speaker 3: back down the mofo. That's I love that for her,
- 36:30Speaker 3: you know, I love Sandy catching those winds up from
- 36:35Speaker 3: the up from the wheelhouse. You know, it's just what
- 36:38Speaker 3: you want to see. It really is.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Truly, it was an epic departure out of the dock,
- 36:45Speaker 2: and it was an epic return into the other dock
- 36:50Speaker 2: where the guests could jump out and onto those rocks
- 36:53Speaker 2: and go walk around town.
- 36:56Speaker 3: I think that's why it was so hard, because it
- 36:59Speaker 3: was like so short after we saw her clear that
- 37:05Speaker 3: her capris were dinged. So it was just also hard
- 37:08Speaker 3: to know, like that Captain's out there doing the hard work,
- 37:13Speaker 3: and what does she come back to, you know what
- 37:16Speaker 3: I mean? Disrespect?
- 37:18Speaker 2: Yeah, disrespect of her uniform.
- 37:22Speaker 3: No less, Yeah, the profession that is like, yeah, it's
- 37:28Speaker 3: just tough.
- 37:30Speaker 2: It's a slap in the face.
- 37:32Speaker 3: It is, like, honestly though, that's what it just is.
- 37:36Speaker 3: It's like, of all the mistakes to be made, you're
- 37:41Speaker 3: gonna make, you're gonna make the one that hurts the most.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. I don't fox with color catchers.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Do you what is a color catcher? Actually so, I
- 37:55Speaker 3: I used to.
- 37:56Speaker 2: I have fos with it before, like years ago. It's
- 38:00Speaker 2: just basically, you know, it looks like a dryer sheet
- 38:03Speaker 2: and you put it in with your wash. Okay, so
- 38:06Speaker 2: that on some way, some level, it somehow is supposed
- 38:12Speaker 2: to help the colors not bleed together if you are
- 38:16Speaker 2: washing your colors along with things that you shouldn't be washing,
- 38:21Speaker 2: or even still just a load of colors, you know.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Just catching. Does it turn color like it will if
- 38:29Speaker 3: it was something.
- 38:30Speaker 2: It will like something really red, It will totally totally
- 38:33Speaker 2: catch it. Yeah, it'll catch it.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Well that's pretty cool.
- 38:38Speaker 2: But you feel like, yeah.
- 38:41Speaker 3: The cold water wash seems to keep things in check.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Am I wrong to say that?
- 38:48Speaker 2: No? No, I that's what I do. I always do
- 38:51Speaker 2: my laundry I do my Let's just talk, you.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Know, let's talk laundry for a second. Yeah.
- 38:57Speaker 2: I will do my clothes cold, cold and delicate and
- 39:04Speaker 2: dry on low and some pieces hang dry. The underwear
- 39:09Speaker 2: and socks and T shirts that I don't care about,
- 39:12Speaker 2: and sweatpants that I don't care about, will are warm, warm,
- 39:17Speaker 2: wash sometimes hot. Yeah, just to get it nice and clean, nice,
- 39:20Speaker 2: and because it's you know, it's underwear and socks. You
- 39:23Speaker 2: really want to get those, get those going sheets. Sheets.
- 39:29Speaker 2: I always do hot, and if they're white, I will
- 39:34Speaker 2: put some bleach in there. Yeah. Color Nope, Nope, no bleach,
- 39:40Speaker 2: just warm or hot. You know a lot of times
- 39:43Speaker 2: with sheets they do tell you to do cold, and
- 39:45Speaker 2: I just am like, I'm not comfortable with that.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Right, you want like whatever skin flakes and killed, you know,
- 39:53Speaker 3: muke is and yeah, any thing any body fluid fluids,
- 40:00Speaker 3: we'd love them sort of knocked out. Yeah, right nicely. Yeah.
- 40:08Speaker 3: Are you using and I know it's controversial, are you
- 40:12Speaker 3: using fabric softener?
- 40:15Speaker 2: Never? Okay, now with Maddie's same with you. No fabric softener? Okay.
- 40:23Speaker 3: I feel it got in my head that it's not
- 40:27Speaker 3: the healthiest thing to use, especially the sheets are not
- 40:30Speaker 3: there's like card.
- 40:33Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm sure there isn't all of our
- 40:37Speaker 2: detergents as it is, there's like because like I definitely
- 40:40Speaker 2: went down a rabbit hole even recently actually about our
- 40:43Speaker 2: detergents and how it's just so different in other countries.
- 40:47Speaker 2: They have totally different standards in other countries when it
- 40:50Speaker 2: comes to their detergents, and typically they don't smell like
- 40:54Speaker 2: gorgeous California sense because you know, they're just it's just
- 40:59Speaker 2: bare bones natural and this is what we're doing is
- 41:04Speaker 2: probably not good and I need to like look into
- 41:06Speaker 2: that now. The only thing I've done at this point
- 41:08Speaker 2: is just do the no scent, you know, no die
- 41:12Speaker 2: no scent with Maddie's clothes and her sheets and towels
- 41:15Speaker 2: and all of her stuff. Okay, but I use Gain
- 41:18Speaker 2: because I really like the smell of Gain.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I will say that I think we rotate in
- 41:27Speaker 3: and out of different detergents depending on price points, so
- 41:30Speaker 3: I'm not dedicated to a specific detergent. What did enter
- 41:35Speaker 3: my home, which I feel quite angry about, is a
- 41:42Speaker 3: package of sheets that are detergent sheets.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Oh, those are supposed to be environmental I know because
- 41:56Speaker 2: of the but you're not using the big plastic tubs.
- 41:59Speaker 2: But what what have happen?
- 42:01Speaker 3: No, I'm just it's like the resistance that I'm feeling
- 42:04Speaker 3: towards them.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Oh so you're but that's nice that you're even giving
- 42:08Speaker 2: it a try. See I haven't even done that yet.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Well that's more of my husband. But I did put
- 42:15Speaker 3: one down, and you put it down first in the
- 42:18Speaker 3: bottom of the tub, and then you put your clothes in.
- 42:22Speaker 3: And to be honest, I don't know that I saw
- 42:24Speaker 3: a difference one way or the other. I just felt
- 42:28Speaker 3: resentful towards it. I didn't want to to like introduce
- 42:32Speaker 3: that into my life, and I don't I can't really
- 42:34Speaker 3: articulate why. It just felt too new fangled for me.
- 42:38Speaker 2: No, I don't want it either. I want to be
- 42:39Speaker 2: able to pour it, see it for it.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that that old way, you know, absolutely with doing
- 42:46Speaker 3: no investigating, not even maybe it's a better wash. I
- 42:49Speaker 3: didn't care. I just resented it. But we'll see, you know,
- 42:54Speaker 3: it's here, they're here, so maybe you're.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Well we'll start you know, moving over at some point. Yeah, maybe,
- 43:02Speaker 2: because yeah, I mean, it is insane not to go
- 43:04Speaker 2: on a rant about the environment. But yeah, obviously you
- 43:07Speaker 2: know there's a problem, you know, so and you go
- 43:12Speaker 2: through these laundry tubs like these huge contains. It's crazy,
- 43:17Speaker 2: it's like crazy crazy. I saw on Shark Tank the
- 43:21Speaker 2: other day this this female dentist, this amazing dentist, came
- 43:26Speaker 2: in with this great idea because you know, those little
- 43:30Speaker 2: the floss very bad, awful and I don't get those,
- 43:35Speaker 2: but I have gotten them for Maddie at the beginning
- 43:38Speaker 2: when she's learning how to you know, floss her teeth
- 43:39Speaker 2: because she can't really do the string. So I do
- 43:42Speaker 2: have some. That being said, her whole thing is like yeah,
- 43:48Speaker 2: and a lot of people do get them for kids.
- 43:51Speaker 2: So she invented this. You know, it's basically paper that
- 43:56Speaker 2: what it's made of. It's not made of plastic. And
- 43:59Speaker 2: the shark did not they passed her up. But it
- 44:03Speaker 2: was a fascinating little journey because she wasn't like, she's
- 44:08Speaker 2: a dentist and she wants their help to actually manufacture
- 44:12Speaker 2: and get the actual equipment in place to make them
- 44:16Speaker 2: mass market and she didn't have any of that. So
- 44:20Speaker 2: they were like, why don't you go to the vendors
- 44:23Speaker 2: who already make these things and pitch it to them
- 44:25Speaker 2: and sell it to them. That's what you should do.
- 44:28Speaker 2: This is too involved, like we can't you're nowhere near,
- 44:32Speaker 2: Like you haven't started this process yet. It's just an
- 44:34Speaker 2: idea and you've made these like by hand essentially, So
- 44:38Speaker 2: they were like for that reason, I'm out and everyone down,
- 44:42Speaker 2: down down. I was so bummed, but I understood, and
- 44:45Speaker 2: it's nice to see that that. You know, hopefully we'll
- 44:48Speaker 2: be making some headway on that. If she can sell
- 44:51Speaker 2: it over to some of these big vendors that make
- 44:53Speaker 2: them because they need the machines to.
- 44:55Speaker 3: Make them, that sounds pretty cool. Yeah, anyway, because people
- 44:59Speaker 3: are very dedicated to those things. Like I had to
- 45:02Speaker 3: pry those out of my husband's hands to get him
- 45:04Speaker 3: into just regular flass, you know, because he just liked them,
- 45:10Speaker 3: and you do people, you can get back there, you know.
- 45:14Speaker 3: I understand that, but it's like they are just terrible.
- 45:18Speaker 3: I think they're bad for birds and.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah, I didn't ever like segue into them,
- 45:24Speaker 2: thank goodness. Yeah, me neither, so I never had to
- 45:28Speaker 2: like go in and get out. But anyway, where you
- 45:30Speaker 2: saying something.
- 45:32Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say, where are you at with water pick.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Oh, water pick, I don't have one, and but uh boy,
- 45:39Speaker 2: oh boy, you're gonna die. This is so funny. My
- 45:41Speaker 2: mom is was such a water pick fanatic back in
- 45:46Speaker 2: like the eighties, you would not even believe like she
- 45:49Speaker 2: her dental care is unmatched. Okay, I mean we're talking
- 45:55Speaker 2: three times a day. If if she was able to
- 45:57Speaker 2: do that, and even when she was went back to
- 45:59Speaker 2: work when I was in middle school and continued working
- 46:02Speaker 2: up until her seventies. Go every day, go to the lunch,
- 46:06Speaker 2: go to the bathroom, brush your teeth at lunch like
- 46:09Speaker 2: I'm not. I'm not doing that, you know, no. And
- 46:13Speaker 2: when I'm home, I it's great working from home because
- 46:16Speaker 2: I floss many times throughout the day, which is great. Yes,
- 46:21Speaker 2: flossing really nice because I just get it caught so easily,
- 46:24Speaker 2: my teeth, you know.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:25Speaker 2: So that being said, water pick, my mom was just
- 46:29Speaker 2: the queen of the water pick, how about you?
- 46:31Speaker 3: Yeah, we did, I think probably at that time too,
- 46:34Speaker 3: we had my parents got a water pick that they
- 46:36Speaker 3: really used. But I've been on a real journey with
- 46:39Speaker 3: these two firs, and my hygienis has moved us into
- 46:44Speaker 3: water pick. A couple of years. Now we've been water
- 46:47Speaker 3: pick for a few years.
- 46:48Speaker 2: A big day.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Wow, But wow do I love it now. I can't
- 46:54Speaker 3: live without it because even after I've brushed and flossed, Yeah,
- 46:59Speaker 3: the water pick still gets stuff out.
- 47:02Speaker 2: You're kidding me? Wait, Oh, you do the water pick
- 47:05Speaker 2: after you brush.
- 47:07Speaker 3: That's how I do it.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 47:11Speaker 3: And I put a little hydrogen peroxide in there just.
- 47:14Speaker 2: To great, you know, so justice, Oh I love this spit.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I just do like and now we can't we
- 47:24Speaker 3: take we we purchased and there's weakest ship, but we
- 47:28Speaker 3: purchased you know, travel ones because we can't be without.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Wow. That's for those people out there who were water
- 47:37Speaker 2: picking and I had no idea. I didn't know it
- 47:38Speaker 2: was back.
- 47:39Speaker 3: You know it's back. Well it's back for me. But
- 47:43Speaker 3: it's it's effective.
- 47:45Speaker 2: You're like, I do my fun due and then I
- 47:48Speaker 2: go water pick.
- 47:50Speaker 3: We throw Yeah, we threw keys in a bucket and yeah,
- 47:56Speaker 3: a little bowl when we have friends over. Yeah, it's
- 47:59Speaker 3: like that.
- 48:01Speaker 2: That's amazing. Ooh, good talk about that. So anyway, so
- 48:08Speaker 2: you don't fox with a color catcher either, No, not
- 48:12Speaker 2: to date? Okay, great. I would also like to ask
- 48:15Speaker 2: the darlings. Is there like a detergent that you guys
- 48:21Speaker 2: use that you feel like you're not giving yourself cancer
- 48:26Speaker 2: when you're using it, you know, like seventh generation or whatever,
- 48:30Speaker 2: like what are you what are you working with? And
- 48:33Speaker 2: things like that. I would be open to hearing those
- 48:36Speaker 2: types of things.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure. Now, Asia and this poop aim when
- 48:44Speaker 3: she now listen, we've said it. We you know she's
- 48:50Speaker 3: become feral in that in that band. Yeah. I never
- 48:58Speaker 3: thought as much much as I think she's gotten feral.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Did I ever imagine in a million years in front
- 49:08Speaker 3: of guests. Yeah, at the dinner table.
- 49:12Speaker 2: At the freaking dinner takeble.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Wow, she would say that she takes because they were
- 49:23Speaker 3: eating the gold leaf pear pear, Yeah, poach pear.
- 49:27Speaker 2: The citrus poach pair with gold out of a leaf.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 49:32Speaker 3: By the way, I don't know these guests from a
- 49:34Speaker 3: freaking hole in the wall, Like we have not been
- 49:37Speaker 3: given a guest at it on this group.
- 49:40Speaker 2: No, Yeah, I don't know.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Yeah they haven't, not one of them. I couldn't conjure
- 49:45Speaker 3: up one. Like, I don't know their deal. I don't
- 49:48Speaker 3: know who they are. I'm like, I guess there was
- 49:50Speaker 3: nothing there, and they're just too regular.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they're just rags.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Okay. But but back to the coach pear, someone kind
- 49:59Speaker 3: of joked about pooping gold because of the gold leaf
- 50:04Speaker 3: on the pair, and Asha was like, you'll have to
- 50:07Speaker 3: do it, but like, ooh, take a picture, Yeah.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Take a picture. How does she do it? I would
- 50:14Speaker 2: love to hear your version. Actually it's.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Take a picture.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Oh, I take a picture of my poop and send
- 50:26Speaker 2: it to my boyfriend.
- 50:27Speaker 1: He doesn't like it.
- 50:30Speaker 2: And then continues and one and then continues about the size.
- 50:35Speaker 2: And I'm like getting sick just watching this. I can't
- 50:38Speaker 2: imagine being at the table and then looking down and
- 50:40Speaker 2: seeing my food.
- 50:44Speaker 3: My poach pair with gold leaf.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Yeah, she has crossed the line with the guests, and
- 50:51Speaker 2: she crossed the line with her stews by saying, you know,
- 50:55Speaker 2: all the stuff about to Ellie about getting a wet pussy,
- 51:00Speaker 2: excuse me.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:02Speaker 2: So I just feel like she's lost at sea. I mean,
- 51:05Speaker 2: I know it's international waters. She thinks that anything can go,
- 51:09Speaker 2: but that sparkling personality of hers can only go so far.
- 51:14Speaker 2: You can still cross a line, and she's crossing the
- 51:16Speaker 2: lines here.
- 51:18Speaker 3: It's so odd because she's so professional in many ways
- 51:23Speaker 3: and on top of things. And I'm stressed for her
- 51:27Speaker 3: right now because she can't take a little nap and
- 51:30Speaker 3: relax because what she's hearing on that radio, she can't.
- 51:34Speaker 3: She can't. And she's got two mid young ladies who
- 51:40Speaker 3: are not pull they're mess So I'm you know, listen, Asia.
- 51:46Speaker 3: I still ride for Asia, but I don't know, like babe,
- 51:51Speaker 3: and sometimes we need to regroup in life. You know,
- 51:53Speaker 3: it's like.
- 51:56Speaker 2: She's like a pirate in a way, you know, truly
- 52:00Speaker 2: is Yeah. I think it's like she's been at sea
- 52:03Speaker 2: too long and she doesn't know that that's these things
- 52:06Speaker 2: are not appropriate in real life, like you've been at sea.
- 52:10Speaker 3: Oh, she's been in the van too long. This is
- 52:13Speaker 3: this is van This is van talk. This is van talk.
- 52:18Speaker 3: This because when you live that van life.
- 52:21Speaker 2: H hashtagan life, you know what I'm saying.
- 52:25Speaker 3: And you if you do, if you look at hashtag
- 52:30Speaker 3: hashtag van life, you really see it, you know, because
- 52:33Speaker 3: you do lose sense of like the importance of what
- 52:37Speaker 3: a shower is, and you just get feral and and
- 52:40Speaker 3: she's she's gotta And Mary Payne said that someone said
- 52:46Speaker 3: she they bought a house, thank you Jesus. I don't
- 52:49Speaker 3: know if they're in it yet, okay, or did you
- 52:51Speaker 3: say it so? I? But you know, yeah, it's bad.
- 52:59Speaker 3: It's bad. Saying that in front of the guests was unhinged.
- 53:04Speaker 2: I worked at a restaurant and it was like a
- 53:08Speaker 2: you know, a high price point. It was French American,
- 53:13Speaker 2: you know, it was like a very small, quaint, beautiful ambiance.
- 53:20Speaker 2: And the woman who was training me like, oh, actually,
- 53:25Speaker 2: just one of the other waiters there, she I heard
- 53:29Speaker 2: her say to the customers like and maybe I was
- 53:33Speaker 2: shadowing her, but they were eating asparagus.
- 53:37Speaker 3: And oh no, I know where this is going.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and I can't remember who. Yeah, there's something about asparagus.
- 53:45Speaker 2: And then maybe one of the guests said something like, oh, asparagus,
- 53:50Speaker 2: you know, like they kind of tipped their hat to
- 53:52Speaker 2: it to someone else at the table, and she's like, oh, yeah,
- 53:55Speaker 2: isn't that crazy head? Just it really it makes your
- 53:57Speaker 2: peace smell so bad. I'm like, are you freaking kidding me?
- 54:00Speaker 2: Right now? You're gonna say that to a guest in
- 54:03Speaker 2: an upscale restaurant and like, this is exactly what that is.
- 54:06Speaker 2: I mean, anything scatological at the dinner table as a
- 54:10Speaker 2: server is really oh thank you. Take some stripes need
- 54:14Speaker 2: to be taken.
- 54:15Speaker 3: In some ways. And I don't know why, but that
- 54:19Speaker 3: is nasty or nasty, nasty, nasty or to me than
- 54:25Speaker 3: than the picture of the poop. And I can't even
- 54:27Speaker 3: it's so specific and like, like, I just I can't.
- 54:32Speaker 2: I know, You're right, I know I was. I'm still
- 54:34Speaker 2: a Paul. It is stuck with me my whole life.
- 54:37Speaker 3: Was this in Los Angeles?
- 54:40Speaker 2: No, it was in Gross Pointe, Michigan.
- 54:45Speaker 3: Sorry that you have to hold on to that. I'm sorry.
- 54:48Speaker 2: It was traumatizing. Oh no, she wasn't from Gross.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Point Okay, okay, good, good, good helpful.
- 55:00Speaker 2: I'm trying to think where she was from. She lived
- 55:05Speaker 2: in Girls Point at that point, but I don't know
- 55:07Speaker 2: where she was from the Detroit area, Like there's so
- 55:12Speaker 2: many suburbs, you know what I mean? Lin Lynn, that
- 55:15Speaker 2: was her name. I'm gonna call you out, Lynn Lynn Lynn.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Come on, Lien. We we all lose ourselves and we
- 55:28Speaker 3: lose our we lose our way, you know. But I
- 55:36Speaker 3: hope Ashia takes this season in and she's talking about
- 55:42Speaker 3: shitting in a couple difference like it's really yeah, oh
- 55:50Speaker 3: thank you.
- 55:51Speaker 2: So Asia gives Ellie lunch service at this, you know,
- 55:56Speaker 2: and she's like, yeah, you know, this is great, and
- 55:58Speaker 2: then you can take your break later. I'll take my
- 56:00Speaker 2: break now. And then you just see Ellie try to
- 56:04Speaker 2: put on that like very professional thing with Bree. She's like, Okay,
- 56:08Speaker 2: we're going to do this, and then she can't find
- 56:12Speaker 2: she's got Brie. I had to hand it to Brie.
- 56:14Speaker 2: She aways had a running for all of his salary
- 56:17Speaker 2: horse radish, go get this, go get that. I mean,
- 56:20Speaker 2: it was a mess man mess. But those days seemed
- 56:25Speaker 2: very Yeah.
- 56:28Speaker 3: I just listening to all of it, which is hilarious.
- 56:32Speaker 2: The guests did seem very demanding and specific about their drinks.
- 56:38Speaker 2: I'm glad they showed us that side of it because
- 56:40Speaker 2: it did look like they were asking a lot at
- 56:43Speaker 2: that point and she was willing to deliver. But like
- 56:48Speaker 2: it was tough.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Dead. Yeah, there was I caught and I don't know
- 56:55Speaker 3: what I was watching and I didn't watch it in full,
- 56:58Speaker 3: but there was like an AFT show on Peacock.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Or an after show yes, a below don okay show.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Yes I didn't.
- 57:05Speaker 3: I just caught one bit, which was Asha and the
- 57:13Speaker 3: Trader's gal O Chestain talking about that moment with great
- 57:22Speaker 3: with Ellie and Chestain was like, you should have take
- 57:26Speaker 3: She should have taken those in the back and made
- 57:29Speaker 3: it in the back like she was doing it at
- 57:32Speaker 3: the bar, which made her more. She was like she
- 57:36Speaker 3: felt she was putting on a show, like look at
- 57:39Speaker 3: me make these drinks, you know, instead of just like
- 57:44Speaker 3: knocking it out in the back and coming out with it.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Got it. Oh my god, that makes so much sense.
- 57:50Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say that because she
- 57:53Speaker 2: was doing it right in front of them, she's more
- 57:56Speaker 2: susceptible to more requests. Take ye, like saying like, hey,
- 58:01Speaker 2: what do you think I should do next for my drink?
- 58:03Speaker 2: Like that guy was saying, you know, yes, like she
- 58:06Speaker 2: would be out of sight, out of mind making these
- 58:08Speaker 2: drinks in the back. That would have Yeah, that would
- 58:10Speaker 2: have solved the life.
- 58:11Speaker 3: I think they were saying that too. You know. It
- 58:14Speaker 3: was like a combo. It's like, don't be out there
- 58:18Speaker 3: vulnerable to the elements, and also go with you know,
- 58:22Speaker 3: go in the back and just make the drinks and
- 58:23Speaker 3: bring them out and drop them off and keep it moving.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Yes, yes, wow, And everything that she needed for these
- 58:31Speaker 2: drinks were not behind the bar.
- 58:34Speaker 3: You know nothing, So zero zero behind the bar.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Wow, that's amazing. I've wanted to get some time with
- 58:44Speaker 2: that after show because I love k chasting, but I
- 58:46Speaker 2: haven't had a chance yet. I keep forgetting about it.
- 58:50Speaker 2: So then what's funny is that Asha's like, yeah, this
- 58:53Speaker 2: is not a good idea, and then she comes back,
- 58:54Speaker 2: She's like, surprise on here, No, you're not doing well.
- 58:59Speaker 2: Like I mean, I did kind of feel like bad
- 59:02Speaker 2: for them in the sense that they were given they
- 59:06Speaker 2: were given the opportunity and they wanted to rise the
- 59:08Speaker 2: occasion and they failed because here she comes, the water
- 59:11Speaker 2: wolf is up there, but it's five minutes before lunch
- 59:15Speaker 2: and the dinner table is not set. I'm sorry, lunch
- 59:18Speaker 2: table is not set.
- 59:19Speaker 3: So yeah, she cannot, you know, jeopardize the tip and
- 59:27Speaker 3: the guest experience and prioritize their training over that. Like
- 59:33Speaker 3: I would have done the same exact thing as her.
- 59:35Speaker 3: I would have held out as long as I could physically,
- 59:40Speaker 3: and then I have been all right, bitches, here I
- 59:43Speaker 3: come here, I.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Come Yeah, yeah, all right. And then Ellie tells Asha
- 59:52Speaker 2: about Brie and this burn book, and then Asha says.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Oh my god. She says in her confessional, I see
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: cash me in the drawer and this book, cashire in
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: the drying in the dryer. Lord help us.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: We're just gone, baby gone, you know, good night.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: It's it. That's it. That's a wrap.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: It's what I don't know. It's hopeless.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Lord, have mercy, And like you know, who's not training
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: her about sweaters and things? Things I just don't understand.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: And if there's no like, why aren't you reading the tags?
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: And if there's no tags, then you know you touch
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: you touch de tensive touch sweater.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: It's no, it's they must have a jack your laundry
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: up budget.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Because yes, you're right, because the steamer was the problem
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: on the other yeah, Charter, I mean the other super
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: adit wherever we were the steamer, the damn steamer. It's like,
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: get a proper like, get a proper steamer instead of you.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: It was the iron that they were using to use
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: this and that's just oh yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. So
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: that's that's pretty much it. Is there anything else? Oh,
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Sandy put Joe on the wheel as a true leader would.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Yeah, his confidence, Yeah, wing was like that's the highest
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: currency on a boat, you know, to get to be
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: in the wheelhouse and run the you know, run the
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: run the operation up there. That's just it's smart. It
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: was smart for her to do that, because that's going
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: to gass you right up, it's going to sit you
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: get your sworded, you know, I get your back on track.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: It was so Captain Sandy to do that too. You know,
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: even in the middle of this Capri catastrophe, she was
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: able to pull it together and just say, yeah, I'm
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: gonna make you a leader. Show you what it feels
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: like to be a leader. You're getting here. Yeah you're
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: not my bow guy anymore, but you can sit here
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: and pretend you're driving. Yeah.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: I loved it, and he loved it. You know, he
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: got everything she was trying to accomplish with that move
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: was aged.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: He was so happy. It was cool.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean I like him and he feels trusted.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Yeah, he's very likable. Yeah.
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: We had the dance. That was the only other.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Thing that was amazing, so good.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Gail's so great, you know.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Gail is amazing. Yeah, Gail's great, and Joe was lifting
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: her up. Excellent, excellent work.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: It was. It was a legitimately awesome dance and the
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: guests were out of their mind. They was on their feet.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: It was just adorable.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: It was so cute, so cute. Well, and that was
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: for the Sparkle Dinner, the Sparkle Dinner. But can I
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: just say one thing about the gold leaf on top
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: of that poached pair. I just was like just thrown
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: on there. It just looked weird. There was like maybe
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: shavings of the gold leaf, but it just like it
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: just looked like a piece of paper stuck to it.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: It was very strange. Didn't have any kind of aesthetic
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: appeal to it. That's what I'll say.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: I don't think you're wrong, although I think I was
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: wowed by it, only because I think I can just
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: be wowed by gold leaf in general. Do you know
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: All you saw was gold leaf and that's.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Like, oh yeah, godas yeah, I love it. I wasn't.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: I didn't have any critical thinking regarding the gold leaf.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: I just said I was like excited. I also think
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: like because it was just simply a pair. I mean,
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: did these people have wanted to have a healthy ride?
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Is that what we're understanding? They Maybe they are healthier group.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: I think maybe because he had did like the healthy lobster,
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: you know, with like herbs and ship. So I think
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: I think they're a healthier group. I think so because
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: with love, you know, for dessert, I don't want an
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: infused pair.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: You know, I would love a poached fair I've never
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: had one, and I would love it.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: I would love it.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: But I don't know if.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Of something yeah, something something decadent.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Yeah, So maybe it was a healthier angle on this menu.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: I think we would never know because we don't know
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: these people, you know, so it's not our business, but
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: I don't mean to know them. No, there we have
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: enough with laundry. We don't need them right now, you know,
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: we just where hands are full with laundry.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Anything I care about is what they packed in their
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: bags and what they're gonna send down the laundry.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: That's all we care about. We're looking at them as
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: fabrications as they walk by, like.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Aha, what are your textiles? So well, that's it for that.
