- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone missed New York Now three hours every weekday
- 0:05Speaker 1: from nine till noon on tenor well, hey, if you
- 0:11Speaker 1: just joined us, this is the second hour. Yeah, we
- 0:14Speaker 1: start at nine am now every morning, nine to noon
- 0:17Speaker 1: every day. So if you're just tuning in, you missed
- 0:20Speaker 1: the first hour. The show is now three hours every day,
- 0:24Speaker 1: nine to noon. So welcome to the second hour. Michigan
- 0:29Speaker 1: primary tonight, this is a big deal. Keep an eye
- 0:32Speaker 1: on this. Five primaries tonight. Polls close about nine o'clock
- 0:36Speaker 1: the start seeing results. If the crazy socialist left wing
- 0:40Speaker 1: kookin Michigan wins the Democratic primary, that's good for the
- 0:44Speaker 1: Republicans because then that means the Republican guy will win
- 0:48Speaker 1: the Senate seat. And it's a retiring Democrat that's in
- 0:53Speaker 1: the Senate seat now. Democrat is retiring, So if the
- 0:56Speaker 1: Republican wins in November, they pick up a seat Senate,
- 1:00Speaker 1: almost guaranteeing Republicans will hold the Senate. So hope that
- 1:04Speaker 1: this nutjob his name is doctor Abdul l Sayad, wins
- 1:10Speaker 1: the Michigan primary tonight. It's actually an open primary. If
- 1:13Speaker 1: you're a Republican, you could go vote for him in
- 1:16Speaker 1: the primary and make sure the instead of it's two
- 1:19Speaker 1: Democrats running in a primary, a normal Democrat Hailey Stevens
- 1:23Speaker 1: versus doctor Abdul l sayad nutjob socialist, one of those
- 1:30Speaker 1: hanging around with Hassan Piker kind of guy. So keep
- 1:34Speaker 1: an eye on that tonight. So hey, you know, the
- 1:38Speaker 1: guy that bought CNN is David Ellison, son of Larry Ellison,
- 1:43Speaker 1: a tech billionaire, oracle a zillionaire. So he finally gave
- 1:47Speaker 1: an interview talking about CNN. You know, everybody at CNN
- 1:50Speaker 1: thinks he's going to clean house, get rid of the
- 1:53Speaker 1: ridiculous left wing, biased, slanted CNN. He did an interview,
- 1:57Speaker 1: he said not, he said, he's not a crazy conservative.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You know, the these Democrats get nuts about everything. Like
- 2:06Speaker 1: Barry Weiss takes over CBS. They're going yelling and screaming
- 2:08Speaker 1: about how bad. Well, she's not a conservative, she's pretty
- 2:12Speaker 1: much a liberal. She's a New York Times person for years,
- 2:15Speaker 1: not a conservative by any means. So they get all
- 2:18Speaker 1: panicky about her, and Ellison pointing out he's conservative on
- 2:21Speaker 1: some things. He's liberal and other things which a lot
- 2:23Speaker 1: of us are, but he's not really a conservative. So
- 2:26Speaker 1: they they shouldn't worry about that so much. But he
- 2:29Speaker 1: said he will shake things up there, and he should.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You got a lot of people there who stink, which
- 2:37Speaker 1: just they're awful that Jake Tapper could put anybody to sleep.
- 2:40Speaker 1: You got that Brian Stelter still lurking around, that worm
- 2:44Speaker 1: looking little guy. And then well all of it is
- 2:47Speaker 1: pretty the Dana bashes, They've got to be the most
- 2:49Speaker 1: annoying person on television. And Ellison points out that in
- 2:54Speaker 1: all these surveys, people don't trust the news media anymore.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And Elison to this number, seventy five percent of America
- 3:02Speaker 1: doesn't trust the news anymore. Seventy five percent doesn't trust him.
- 3:07Speaker 1: He's got a point. So he said, you got to
- 3:09Speaker 1: shake things up. You can't have this going on. So
- 3:12Speaker 1: there will be a lot of new people coming to CNN.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So that's good news. Now, this guy, Tony Romo, the
- 3:22Speaker 1: football play by play, he does a lot of sports.
- 3:25Speaker 1: But to Tony Romo had been on CBS for years,
- 3:30Speaker 1: usually with Jim Nantz or somebody else. But Tony Romo
- 3:32Speaker 1: gets picked up for drunk driving and there's a body
- 3:37Speaker 1: cam footage and all that. It doesn't look good. It's
- 3:39Speaker 1: pretty bad. So they remove him from the airwaves. They
- 3:42Speaker 1: put him on suspension. Now, I don't know should you
- 3:47Speaker 1: fire the guy over this. It's a horrible thing, that
- 3:51Speaker 1: drunk driving. But if it's a one time thing or whatever,
- 3:54Speaker 1: if you get under control, I mean, you certainly got
- 3:56Speaker 1: to do something about it. But do you fire him
- 3:58Speaker 1: over the He's a extremely highly paid, a big, big
- 4:03Speaker 1: CBS sports anchor. Do you fire him for something like that?
- 4:07Speaker 1: I mean, if he was a pilot, I could see
- 4:08Speaker 1: firing him right away. But to cover football, you can't drink.
- 4:14Speaker 1: But here's the problem. Here's what people are saying behind
- 4:16Speaker 1: the scenes is really going on. They kind of wanted
- 4:18Speaker 1: to get rid of him anyway. They're kind of angry
- 4:21Speaker 1: at him anyway, because they're overpaying him at the time.
- 4:25Speaker 1: This is a while back. He signed a ten year contract.
- 4:29Speaker 1: This is six years ago. He signed a ten year
- 4:31Speaker 1: contract for one hundred and eighty million. That's eighteen million
- 4:35Speaker 1: a year. Now, they really overpaying this guy. So if
- 4:38Speaker 1: you're saying, well, why did they do it, why would
- 4:40Speaker 1: they overpay? Well, at the time, he had a lot
- 4:44Speaker 1: of leverage for a couple of seconds there, because remember
- 4:47Speaker 1: six years ago, the networks were still doing a little
- 4:49Speaker 1: better back then, and it looked like ESPN wanted to
- 4:53Speaker 1: hire him for their Monday night football crew. So ESPN
- 4:57Speaker 1: was really after him. CBS was really caught in a
- 5:00Speaker 1: bind for a second. Theary he had incredible leverage and
- 5:03Speaker 1: he got this one hundred and eighty million dollar deal.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Well now it's six years later, network TV is way down.
- 5:11Speaker 1: They're not making that kind of money anymore, and they
- 5:14Speaker 1: don't want to pay him eighteen million a year. So
- 5:17Speaker 1: that may be a big reason why they're using this
- 5:20Speaker 1: to push him out the door or maybe get him
- 5:23Speaker 1: to really lower the price. That could happen. Hey, the
- 5:26Speaker 1: guy that jumped off the bridge. Remember this guy committed
- 5:29Speaker 1: to try to commit suicide over the weekend. He's up
- 5:32Speaker 1: on the It wasn't the Brooklyn Bridge, it was the
- 5:34Speaker 1: other bridge, was at the Manhattan Bridge. So he's up
- 5:38Speaker 1: there and he first he takes off all his clothes.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I don't know why he gotta be naked. I mean,
- 5:44Speaker 1: he's going to jump in the water. I guess he
- 5:46Speaker 1: that's why. And he jumps off the bridge. It's three
- 5:50Speaker 1: hundred feet to the water. Not only does he survive,
- 5:54Speaker 1: but when they get to the hospital. He's in stable condition. Now,
- 5:57Speaker 1: how is this possible? But he hits that water, they're dead. Well.
- 6:02Speaker 1: People have been studying the video because apparently as he
- 6:05Speaker 1: jumped a lot of people had their phones out and
- 6:06Speaker 1: did video. You can hear people screaming when he jumps
- 6:10Speaker 1: off the bridge. You know, if you could do this,
- 6:16Speaker 1: these high divers know how to do this. If you
- 6:19Speaker 1: hit the water on a slant or flat, you're gonna
- 6:22Speaker 1: break your bones and your ribs and your stump. But
- 6:24Speaker 1: if you can be absolutely straight as you go down,
- 6:28Speaker 1: totally straight, like a pencil almost, it'll be much easier
- 6:33Speaker 1: for you cut. You might hurt your feet, but that's
- 6:35Speaker 1: about it. And apparently this guy had a bag of
- 6:40Speaker 1: stuff and he held it up over his head when
- 6:43Speaker 1: he jumped, so because he was holding it straight up
- 6:46Speaker 1: over his head, that meant his arms went straight up
- 6:50Speaker 1: and it got his body totally straight. So they think
- 6:55Speaker 1: that keeping his body totally straight by holding that bag
- 6:58Speaker 1: up over his head broke helped him make him much
- 7:02Speaker 1: cleaner fall into the river. And they also think by
- 7:05Speaker 1: holding that bag over his head, he had acted as
- 7:07Speaker 1: kind of a parachute and slowed him down a little
- 7:11Speaker 1: and he not only survived, he was in stable condition.
- 7:13Speaker 1: He's expected to fully recover. But he's going to be
- 7:18Speaker 1: charged with all kinds of things. They're going to charge
- 7:20Speaker 1: him with reckless engagement, making graffiti. Apparently he did that
- 7:25Speaker 1: on the top of the bridge. He was naked. They're
- 7:27Speaker 1: going to charge him with public lewdness, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct. Now,
- 7:33Speaker 1: I guess this guy felt he was a failure in
- 7:35Speaker 1: life and decided to kill himself, and that's why he
- 7:37Speaker 1: was up there. Now, if you think you're a failure
- 7:41Speaker 1: in life and you decide you're such a failure, I'm
- 7:43Speaker 1: gonna end it all, I'm gonna jump. And then you
- 7:46Speaker 1: screw that up. You can't even kill yourself, right, And
- 7:49Speaker 1: not only don't you kill yourself, you end up in
- 7:51Speaker 1: twelve charges and you're going to jail forever. So that's
- 7:56Speaker 1: a real loser, that guy. I mean, I guess we're
- 7:59Speaker 1: glad he's okay, But what no loser. So I'm watching
- 8:05Speaker 1: these hearings. This is Senator white House, this is a
- 8:08Speaker 1: Bloomenthal All these creepy, weirdo Bloomenthal Democrat types. These are hearings.
- 8:14Speaker 1: They're going after the they're trying to go after Todd Blanche.
- 8:19Speaker 1: This is the new attorney general. He was Trump's lawyer.
- 8:22Speaker 1: They make a big thing of that. How could he
- 8:24Speaker 1: you're Trump's lawyer, He can't make you attorney general? Yeah? No,
- 8:28Speaker 1: How many attorney generals we've had who used to be
- 8:30Speaker 1: the lawyer of that president. John Mitchell for Richard Nixon,
- 8:35Speaker 1: Ed Meese for Ronald Reagan. It's perfectly common. It's done
- 8:39Speaker 1: all Hey. John F. Kennedy appointed his brother to be
- 8:42Speaker 1: attorney general, who was his lawyer before that. It happens
- 8:47Speaker 1: all the time. Here's Trump. I don't know what they agreed.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I think Todd Blanche agreed to reconfirm things that he's
- 8:54Speaker 1: already said, and what he said was okay. Yeah, Blanche
- 8:57Speaker 1: agreed to drop that fund to pay off victims of
- 9:01Speaker 1: law fare. But as Trump indicates there, just because he
- 9:05Speaker 1: dropped it doesn't mean Trump will drop it. So they're
- 9:08Speaker 1: going after these hearings, Dick Durbin, Blumenthal, all these horrible
- 9:15Speaker 1: senators yelling and screaming. Blanche has no business serving as age.
- 9:19Speaker 1: He's perfectly quality, actually actually much more qualified than a
- 9:22Speaker 1: lot of previous ages. Now, the other thing they're using
- 9:25Speaker 1: against him is the Epstein files. This one said he
- 9:30Speaker 1: tried to sweep the Epstein scandal under the rug. Now
- 9:35Speaker 1: exactly what was the Epstein scandal exactly? I mean there
- 9:38Speaker 1: was a scandal, but it was all against Epstein. Epstein
- 9:41Speaker 1: apparently liked young girls, under age girls. That was his thing,
- 9:46Speaker 1: for massages, for sex. For all of that. That was Epstein.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But we've had the files released. We got ten million
- 9:52Speaker 1: pages of the files. We've looked through everything. It doesn't
- 9:55Speaker 1: appear that anybody else except Prince Andrew like the young girls.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But if you read the files carefully, I have the
- 10:04Speaker 1: Epstein files show that ninety nine point nine nine nine
- 10:07Speaker 1: percent of everybody else just wanted women, over age women,
- 10:12Speaker 1: not underage women. They were all adult women that Epstein
- 10:16Speaker 1: knew and that these guys knew. So I don't know
- 10:19Speaker 1: exactly what the scandal is. And there's no connection with Trump.
- 10:22Speaker 1: He knew Epstein briefly in his early days, but then
- 10:26Speaker 1: cut him off and that was the end of that.
- 10:28Speaker 1: In fact, if you read the Epstein files, you can
- 10:30Speaker 1: see they were actually well at least Epstein was a
- 10:33Speaker 1: big enemy of Trump. All through the Epstein files you
- 10:37Speaker 1: hear Epstein plotting against Trump, how to ruin him. He's
- 10:40Speaker 1: even talking to these wormy little tabloid creeps like Michael
- 10:45Speaker 1: Wolfe about how to bring down Trump. So they weren't friends.
- 10:48Speaker 1: So I don't know what this scandal was that he
- 10:51Speaker 1: swept under the rug. In fact, it was during the
- 10:54Speaker 1: Trump administration that Epstein was arrested and charged by his
- 10:58Speaker 1: Justice Department with these crimes of trafficking these underage women.
- 11:03Speaker 1: They send them to prison, they got them in prison.
- 11:06Speaker 1: This is Trump and his administration got him in prison,
- 11:09Speaker 1: and then Epstein ends up killing himself in prison. So
- 11:14Speaker 1: I don't know exactly what there is to cover up here. Hey,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know, here's something you need to cover up. The
- 11:20Speaker 1: Democrats need to cover up. City needs to cover up
- 11:23Speaker 1: these You got this medicaid fraud, medicare fraud, medicaid fraud
- 11:28Speaker 1: all over the They found it in Minnesota, they found
- 11:30Speaker 1: it in California. Well now they're finding it in Flushing.
- 11:34Speaker 1: You know, the real people that are coming in to investigate,
- 11:39Speaker 1: and it isn't hard to find because you got this
- 11:41Speaker 1: medicaid fraud. You got these centers getting this medicaid reimbursement
- 11:46Speaker 1: for one hundred million dollars. And they show up and
- 11:49Speaker 1: look to see, well, what are these centers. They're boarded up,
- 11:51Speaker 1: closed storefronts. They're claiming they're doing two thousand patients. They're
- 11:56Speaker 1: not even open. They just run down, boarded up empty storefronts.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Here's one that does put in for twenty million of
- 12:04Speaker 1: Medicaid funding for treating people. It's a closed storefront. There's
- 12:08Speaker 1: a bunch of these and they total up to one
- 12:10Speaker 1: hundred million dollars. This is going on all over Queens. Mom.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Donnie silent about it. He should be there cleaning it up,
- 12:19Speaker 1: clean it up before the federal government has to come
- 12:22Speaker 1: in and do it. Now. The Democrats and government, they
- 12:26Speaker 1: like to worry about the stupidest things. Here in New Jersey.
- 12:30Speaker 1: You got this new law, this new skip the stuff law.
- 12:33Speaker 1: If you get a takeout order, they're not allowed to
- 12:35Speaker 1: give you a plastic fork and knife and spoon. They
- 12:38Speaker 1: can't give you the plastic utensils, or a straw or
- 12:41Speaker 1: a condiment packets. They can't throw that in the bag
- 12:44Speaker 1: when you get your takeout order. If you ask for it,
- 12:47Speaker 1: they can give it to you, but they can't just
- 12:49Speaker 1: throw it in the bag. It's a new law. It's
- 12:52Speaker 1: called the skip the Stuff law. You cannot hand out
- 12:56Speaker 1: plastic utensils. You cannot hand no more condiments in the
- 12:59Speaker 1: little packets unless you ask for them, which means you
- 13:03Speaker 1: got a pretty much bag for them. It is the
- 13:05Speaker 1: stupidest law. It was actually Phil Murphy that started this,
- 13:08Speaker 1: but it just took effect with this idiot governor Mikey Cheryl.
- 13:14Speaker 1: They already banned plastic bags in grocery stores. They're not
- 13:19Speaker 1: available even of a customer aster one. You're not allowed
- 13:21Speaker 1: to have a plastic bag in a grocery store. Now,
- 13:25Speaker 1: if you walk into a grocery store, what is in there.
- 13:28Speaker 1: There's millions of shelves, and what's on the shelves plastic bottles,
- 13:33Speaker 1: and everything in the grocery store is in plastic. Everything.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Everything you walk down one aisle, it's potato, chips, popcorn, pretzel,
- 13:42Speaker 1: they're all in plastic bags. Millions of plastic bags. Go
- 13:46Speaker 1: down the beverage aisle. It's all plastic bottles. Even if
- 13:50Speaker 1: you go to the butcher, the prepared stuff, the meat,
- 13:52Speaker 1: the fish, it's all wrapped in plastic. Everything in the
- 13:56Speaker 1: store is plastic. It's fifty million plastic things in the store,
- 13:59Speaker 1: but you're not allowed to have a plastic bag that's
- 14:02Speaker 1: supposed to make a difference. It's absolutely ridiculous. Now under
- 14:06Speaker 1: this law, even in a restaurant, you're not in a
- 14:10Speaker 1: restaurant not allowed to have plastic utensils. You have to
- 14:13Speaker 1: have washable utensils. And in a restaurant, under this stupid
- 14:17Speaker 1: New Jersey law, you cannot give out packets, condiment packets.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You can't give out little ketchup packets or mustard. It
- 14:24Speaker 1: has to be full sized or usable bottles. These are
- 14:28Speaker 1: democratic politicians with nothing else to do except think up
- 14:33Speaker 1: ways to just make you nuts. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
