- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists.
- 0:07Speaker 1: This week on the show, we have a very special
- 0:09Speaker 1: crew here on a very special mission.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's crowdfunding artists.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Crowdfunding is the number one way to get people that
- 0:17Speaker 3: love you to pay for your projects.
- 0:20Speaker 4: It's a very, very exciting new endeavor that.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Has completely changed the landscape of the creator.
- 0:26Speaker 5: World, move over traditional Hollywood in terms of funding because
- 0:31Speaker 5: there are new people that are going to donate probably
- 0:35Speaker 5: twenty five cents to a dollar at a time to
- 0:38Speaker 5: hit a one point seven million dollar budget.
- 0:41Speaker 6: So post that kickstarter link, hit that goal, and let's
- 0:46Speaker 6: listen in.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I'm checking the Steedents Spark and so mu check the Kickstarter.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I'm checking the Kickstarter right now and I'm actually seeing
- 0:54Speaker 3: that we are ninety seven percent funded.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Hi, I am on the Spark.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I am on the Steedentspark and it says we are
- 1:00Speaker 1: It says the Kickstarter is ninety nine percent funded, and
- 1:02Speaker 1: says the Scene Spark is ninety two percent funded.
- 1:04Speaker 3: We have ninety seven percent of our one hundred thousand
- 1:07Speaker 3: dollars goal, which means we have ninety seven thousand dollars.
- 1:10Speaker 7: Guys, I have I have chills. I literally chill.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I am literally shaking.
- 1:14Speaker 6: Do you guys feel like this sort of like responsibility
- 1:18Speaker 6: to society?
- 1:19Speaker 7: Like we are the new way?
- 1:21Speaker 2: Go on me, just our GoFundMe just hit eighty five
- 1:23Speaker 2: percent funded?
- 1:24Speaker 5: Really well, we only did one thousand dollars on GoFundMe,
- 1:27Speaker 5: so that.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Should be and that's because of the tax stuff.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Yea, that should be an ace in the hole.
- 1:32Speaker 7: I said we were going to use that for my ankle.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 1:35Speaker 5: But I'm like I feel the exact same where I'm like,
- 1:37Speaker 5: this is exciting, like this is like the new way,
- 1:41Speaker 5: Like we don't need Hollywood to open its doors, like hello,
- 1:44Speaker 5: We're opening our own doors.
- 1:45Speaker 7: Yes, sort of like bust down the gates, like we're here.
- 1:48Speaker 1: We doniana bust downa bust down.
- 1:52Speaker 2: We got money for your ankle, Tatiana bust down.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I'm gonna say ten minutes, no phone, which is something
- 1:58Speaker 3: that I haven't done for thirty days.
- 2:00Speaker 2: But what am I going to do? I have to
- 2:01Speaker 2: tell them one percent backers. I have to text them
- 2:02Speaker 2: what's up? No, don't text every hour. I have to
- 2:05Speaker 2: text them what's up? Well, you already texted them, didn't
- 2:07Speaker 2: you just text them. You're right to have an hour.
- 2:09Speaker 5: You have an hour.
- 2:10Speaker 7: You have an hour.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Back. By the way, one thousand dollars for your ankle.
- 2:14Speaker 4: What are we doing for that?
- 2:15Speaker 6: Okay, So I'm really really excited about what my ankle
- 2:19Speaker 6: is doing.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Well, it doesn't it doesn't sell in the movie unless
- 2:22Speaker 2: it's really bad for the ankle.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Yeah, well I I have to So I have to
- 2:26Speaker 6: get my ankle injured for the movie because one of
- 2:29Speaker 6: the key parts of my character in this movie is
- 2:31Speaker 6: that is that my ankle hurts, and in order for
- 2:34Speaker 6: people to really believe it, they have to see it's
- 2:37Speaker 6: no CGI.
- 2:39Speaker 7: No CGI, no AI.
- 2:41Speaker 6: By the way, so we're puting a real man to
- 2:46Speaker 6: hit me over the club, like to hit my club
- 2:49Speaker 6: my ankle, to club it, to club it a bit
- 2:52Speaker 6: so that it puffs up a little bit, so that I,
- 2:54Speaker 6: as an actor, can like really be in the moment.
- 2:56Speaker 2: And his rate is nine to fifty in the club
- 2:58Speaker 2: is fifty yeah, yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And he's really have a massive deal, a massive deal
- 3:02Speaker 1: hunt on the club.
- 3:03Speaker 2: He did my sister in two thousand and three. Yeah,
- 3:05Speaker 2: that's how we.
- 3:06Speaker 6: Made And why did your sister need that? By the way,
- 3:09Speaker 6: what why did your sister.
- 3:10Speaker 7: Need this service.
- 3:12Speaker 2: They were dating.
- 3:13Speaker 7: They were dating.
- 3:14Speaker 1: They were dating the low right, right, but you're right
- 3:16Speaker 1: thinking about it now, I'm like, why did she bring
- 3:18Speaker 1: him up when I said we need somebody to hit
- 3:20Speaker 1: We need somebody to hit Marissa with with a guy?
- 3:22Speaker 2: She said about that guy.
- 3:27Speaker 7: All the way back. Something just fell.
- 3:30Speaker 4: We need to go all the way back.
- 3:31Speaker 2: That's my second phone. That's my second phone.
- 3:33Speaker 1: We must have gotten another alert. We must have gotten
- 3:34Speaker 1: another alerts.
- 3:36Speaker 4: That big phone that they sell in stores.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I use it for our Tumbler updates. Guys, guys, guys.
- 3:42Speaker 5: We are here yes, to do one thing, and that
- 3:44Speaker 5: is to finish out our crowdfunding. So why don't we
- 3:47Speaker 5: go around introduce ourselves and our position in this wonderful
- 3:50Speaker 5: project and what this project is about, and maybe that
- 3:54Speaker 5: will actually help hit our final funding.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Everything we do that's my hey, hey, that's my baby
- 4:01Speaker 3: a baby.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Everything we do here needs to be clippable. We need
- 4:06Speaker 4: to use this some way on social media.
- 4:09Speaker 7: That's right, So you start your sentences loud. The thing
- 4:13Speaker 7: I love about crowdfunding is.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yes, continue, yeah, but at the end, that's that's smart,
- 4:18Speaker 1: horrible or something like like like ninety percent of the
- 4:21Speaker 1: way there for our indie movie.
- 4:23Speaker 7: Oh yeah, start with the number.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, ninety percent of the way there for our indie movie.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You guys are my best friends, and I just do
- 4:29Speaker 1: want to stop and say, like I feel like for
- 4:31Speaker 1: people who have just met us on this thing.
- 4:34Speaker 2: We have been working together for how many months now.
- 4:37Speaker 4: There's a revolution in Hollywood. It's been nine months.
- 4:40Speaker 2: That's crazy, that's crazy.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It's a literal baby, I know. Yeah, because I took
- 4:47Speaker 1: clowning with you.
- 4:48Speaker 7: Yes, how many months ago? Eight months ago?
- 4:52Speaker 5: Whoa, So that doesn't make sense. Well, you guys had
- 4:56Speaker 5: started working together, right, that's how you met. We just
- 4:58Speaker 5: took Clouding together.
- 5:00Speaker 7: Chester Crowning together.
- 5:01Speaker 6: We decided, you know, a month into the crowdfunding that
- 5:04Speaker 6: it would be good.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It's even a month into crowdfunding because it's been because
- 5:08Speaker 1: we started crowning, right, and you guys, you guys met
- 5:13Speaker 1: back up at that Dave and Busters.
- 5:14Speaker 2: How many months ago we were in that hot shots tournament.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Yeah, and we were the top two.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah, And I remember at the end, remember we said,
- 5:23Speaker 3: we said, let's just do this together.
- 5:24Speaker 7: Woke up a competition they had to wed So hot
- 5:28Speaker 7: shot is.
- 5:29Speaker 4: What sport it's like that basketball game. Yea, so we
- 5:32Speaker 4: would we would throw it one.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Yeah, we got three points in total at the end
- 5:36Speaker 5: because we had to hold it with both hands, but
- 5:38Speaker 5: we ended up splitting it because we were the.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Final third and fourth place were pissed and we.
- 5:41Speaker 5: Were like, this is so crazy and fun, Like maybe
- 5:47Speaker 5: there should be a movie about something like that. Literally,
- 5:50Speaker 5: maybe it's a movie about the staff of a place
- 5:56Speaker 5: like Dave and Busters.
- 5:58Speaker 1: How many movies so we used to see start and
- 6:01Speaker 1: end at an arcade like literally yes, like honestly, think
- 6:04Speaker 1: about it.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Tron wreck your round? Stop stop stop? Oh sorry stop?
- 6:08Speaker 3: I thought you were literally asking no, no, stop.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Well that's enough.
- 6:11Speaker 7: Two is enough. Two is more than I thought, But
- 6:13Speaker 7: you got okay.
- 6:15Speaker 5: I've always been interested in the life of people that
- 6:18Speaker 5: work at arcades, and so we thought maybe we can
- 6:22Speaker 5: dive into it.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And then and so you guys met. You guys talked
- 6:26Speaker 2: about that, and you said, let me bring on my girlfriend.
- 6:27Speaker 5: I said, let me bring my girlfriend.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And we met.
- 6:31Speaker 5: How many ms go ten years? We're meeting for ten years.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Yeah, so like one hundred months, high school.
- 6:37Speaker 5: One hundred and twenty we are high school street twenty
- 6:40Speaker 5: one hundred twenty thousand, thousand. I said, my girlfriend would
- 6:44Speaker 5: freaking smash the shesh out of this, Like literally, she
- 6:49Speaker 5: will get this screenplay and like be able to do
- 6:53Speaker 5: so much with it, like she is a beast in
- 6:56Speaker 5: front of the camera.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I went to the first ever creative writing preschool and
- 6:59Speaker 1: that changed the dectory in my life. Yeah, it changed everything.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And I think my parents for that every single day.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And that's why I think when you gave me this
- 7:05Speaker 1: baton of like, here's the idea, run with it. Write
- 7:08Speaker 1: the script, Write the script, Jenny, I did it. Yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 1: and I was like, but I literally can only see
- 7:13Speaker 1: my best friend in it, my best friend in the
- 7:16Speaker 1: entire world. Stop, the most beautiful ankles I've ever seen.
- 7:20Speaker 7: Stop, well for now stop. Yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 6: I'm really excited and honored to be here. I'm really
- 7:31Speaker 6: excited to sort of like do this twohander with you
- 7:33Speaker 6: where it's like we're in an arcade, and like why
- 7:38Speaker 6: did we work in an arcade? You know, why didn't
- 7:41Speaker 6: we become mathematicians like our dads wanted. Why didn't we
- 7:44Speaker 6: like why didn't we pursue a doctorate? We wanted something more?
- 7:49Speaker 6: Because games are how we view the world literally, and
- 7:53Speaker 6: so this Davedbusters. We wanted it to be really personal,
- 7:57Speaker 6: so we named it after some of our fathers. And
- 8:02Speaker 6: so it's Mike and and and Ike Mike and Ike, which.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Is crazy like and we know, like a lot of
- 8:10Speaker 5: you in writing like I, we'll probably get in trouble
- 8:12Speaker 5: for that because Mike and I does have a it's
- 8:14Speaker 5: like a candy.
- 8:15Speaker 4: We're doing Mike and Ike. It's not in.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Ike like the ca Yeah is a candy Mike Ike.
- 8:20Speaker 4: It's Mike and Ikes.
- 8:21Speaker 7: It's Mike and Ikes.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Are they saying Mike is in IKEA.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Maybe Mike is inside Ike? So Ike is a bottom?
- 8:33Speaker 8: Wait?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Is a bottom?
- 8:36Speaker 4: Mike and Ike gay icon?
- 8:38Speaker 7: Because I actually haven't thought about this.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I feel like it and that's why you're directing the movie.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Okay, wait, I need to put a pause on this
- 8:46Speaker 3: because that's not the idea we're here for.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Yeah, right, sorry, but think about.
- 8:50Speaker 9: That, guys, and that we can't imagine like a sitcom
- 8:54Speaker 9: where it's Mike and Ike and they're candies but they're
- 8:56Speaker 9: gay and they're being said.
- 8:57Speaker 7: And they're so different.
- 8:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm Ike is really organized and Ike is really messy.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm creating a rich fund goal that if you give
- 9:09Speaker 1: over ten thousand dollars, you get to write the script
- 9:12Speaker 1: with us for Mike and I gay.
- 9:13Speaker 2: That such a good idea.
- 9:14Speaker 7: I can't wait to have them in the writer's.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Room with us.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I love when the only reason someone is working on
- 9:19Speaker 3: something is because they give money for it. Y.
- 9:21Speaker 10: Yes, Yes, back to craft Funday, Okay, wait, we have to.
- 9:25Speaker 3: By the way, we're all literally almost ten minutes and
- 9:27Speaker 3: we haven't even introduced star cells.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Yes, no, said a single name, Mike and Ike and
- 9:35Speaker 5: our fathers Mike and Ike.
- 9:38Speaker 7: So so my name, my name is Rachel. Uh kickstart intro?
- 9:45Speaker 4: Do like it intro.
- 9:47Speaker 2: We'll do our Yes, everyone do your intro and say
- 9:50Speaker 2: your role and say the name of the movie, which
- 9:52Speaker 2: is Mike and Ikes. No, that's the other movie. This
- 9:54Speaker 2: is the other movie ArKade.
- 9:57Speaker 4: You were doing that one.
- 9:58Speaker 11: Now it's we were doing Arcade, Raised Our Crazy, Raised
- 10:07Speaker 11: Crazy Crazy.
- 10:09Speaker 2: You have to say here.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Arcade, Arcade, Raisy, Arcade, Rais Arcade, Raisin Arcade.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Raisin Arcade, Raising in the Sun, Sorry, Arcade, Raising in
- 10:20Speaker 5: the Sun.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Are crazy? Are crazy?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Arcadere crazy Town Our Town's crazy Arcade.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Titled Arcade untitled Arcade project. Of course, that's what is working.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Unentitled Arcade project.
- 10:33Speaker 7: Untitled arcade project.
- 10:36Speaker 6: And that's because I remember we went back and forth.
- 10:40Speaker 6: That's what the kickstarter is called.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Here's the good thing.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Yes, we're calling it untitled arcade projects because the cool
- 10:46Speaker 3: thing is that's how you know you are all the
- 10:48Speaker 3: creative once.
- 10:49Speaker 6: You have the right Yeah, how I love l A
- 10:53Speaker 6: was untitled Rachel Sennate project. Right, Yeah, we are taking
- 10:56Speaker 6: the I P and the recognizability of arcade and using
- 11:00Speaker 6: that to our advantage.
- 11:01Speaker 1: So now we can do whatever we do because it's
- 11:03Speaker 1: what you just said. Though we can't do there's so
- 11:05Speaker 1: many different you can see this on our page. You
- 11:06Speaker 1: could see this on all the different pages on crowdfunding,
- 11:08Speaker 1: each of the crowdfunding sites we have. You can decide
- 11:11Speaker 1: what movie this is. Like there's a version of this
- 11:14Speaker 1: movie where we shoot it in four days. There's a
- 11:17Speaker 1: version of this movie that we shoot it.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Yes, too much, someone donates two hundred thousand dollars, we
- 11:22Speaker 6: shoot this whole thing in four days. Like they get
- 11:26Speaker 6: to choose the production schedule.
- 11:27Speaker 5: We choose where we shoot it and how we shoot
- 11:30Speaker 5: it and what we're wearing and what we're doing during
- 11:33Speaker 5: the filmy, I.
- 11:34Speaker 7: Like three hundred thousand. They get to decide how much
- 11:36Speaker 7: sleep we get.
- 11:37Speaker 5: We have yet to introduce ourselves.
- 11:39Speaker 1: We'll go back to okay, and we'll go back because
- 11:42Speaker 1: it's really important because especially the lunch goals, when you
- 11:44Speaker 1: guys get to decide our diet throughout the movie, that's
- 11:46Speaker 1: a that's a hefty goal.
- 11:48Speaker 6: This is a hefty goal, and we hope we reach
- 11:50Speaker 6: it because that will change some things about the performance.
- 11:54Speaker 6: My name is Rachel, and I didn't even get to
- 11:56Speaker 6: my last name. My name is Rachel Pie and I
- 12:00Speaker 6: am a dreamer. I'm an actor, I'm a storyteller, and
- 12:06Speaker 6: I've never seen myself.
- 12:07Speaker 7: On screen before.
- 12:08Speaker 4: I want to apologize really quick.
- 12:09Speaker 2: By the way, I realized, I didn't think your name
- 12:12Speaker 2: was pronounced Rachel.
- 12:14Speaker 5: What did you think it was?
- 12:15Speaker 4: It was Rael.
- 12:17Speaker 2: You've been saying.
- 12:20Speaker 7: Rac racial, pirac.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I don't know each other for like nine months.
- 12:27Speaker 7: We've known each other for like nine months.
- 12:29Speaker 8: We've been.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Actually how many.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I guess if you.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Just makes so much sense because you keep on just
- 12:40Speaker 5: walking and going, well, not to get all racial in here.
- 12:44Speaker 6: You're kind of like, oh, well, not to get all racial,
- 12:46Speaker 6: but like I'm going to take two shots and pass out?
- 12:51Speaker 7: Are you making like a race stroke?
- 12:52Speaker 12: Like so much?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Like remember the other day you went because we were
- 12:56Speaker 1: talking about your ankle, and you went, let's think about
- 12:58Speaker 1: the racial implications here, anyone, what do you even.
- 13:02Speaker 2: By the racial implications you think of her ankle?
- 13:04Speaker 6: And we were like, yeah, what, Oh my gosh, I'm
- 13:09Speaker 6: actually explained so much. I kept thinking you were like
- 13:12Speaker 6: sort of calling me racist.
- 13:14Speaker 4: I thought you were named racial.
- 13:17Speaker 7: That's crazy to keep going because it spelled with the
- 13:21Speaker 7: C and you know that. Yeah, because we met like
- 13:23Speaker 7: eight months.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Ago, right, go, I go already see a black out from.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Nine months ago? Right, you guys must have met nine
- 13:30Speaker 5: months ago.
- 13:31Speaker 7: We did because we took I think eight months we
- 13:34Speaker 7: took eight months ago.
- 13:35Speaker 5: That's just how you guys have met.
- 13:37Speaker 2: That helps us remember.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Because we did backhamm and we did that.
- 13:40Speaker 6: We were that backham in charity, like for those men
- 13:42Speaker 6: at the park who didn't have anyone to play Backammon
- 13:44Speaker 6: with because they were all they weren't friends with each.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Other's backcam in charity. That was kind of not actually
- 13:49Speaker 3: a charity but more of an activity we did for
- 13:52Speaker 3: to each other feel like you did something right.
- 13:55Speaker 4: I mean it was charity for sure.
- 13:56Speaker 7: You could have patch yourself on the back of it.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Well, I will say it felt like work.
- 13:59Speaker 7: Those guys were not They were not shared a conversation.
- 14:03Speaker 4: And badminton was a back game and was a tough
- 14:07Speaker 4: thing to get them into.
- 14:08Speaker 7: It's a tough thing. It's a tough thing. They were
- 14:10Speaker 7: all set up for chess.
- 14:11Speaker 6: But I'm really excited to be a part of this
- 14:14Speaker 6: movie because again, I've never seen myself on screen as
- 14:16Speaker 6: someone who wanted to work in an arcade, even though
- 14:20Speaker 6: I originally started in math, and so to finally see
- 14:24Speaker 6: that on screen, I'm really excited for. And I'm really
- 14:26Speaker 6: excited to be doing it with my best friends, who
- 14:28Speaker 6: I all met recently.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I would be missing. We didn't talk about how much
- 14:31Speaker 2: you look like Margot Robbie.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Yeah, so much like we always talked about how hot
- 14:37Speaker 5: you are.
- 14:40Speaker 2: And then I go like, you're right, and then we
- 14:42Speaker 2: talk about a little bit. Yeah, we talk. We go
- 14:44Speaker 2: in guys talk about that we do. And I would
- 14:46Speaker 2: be remis by bring it up because I know he
- 14:47Speaker 2: would first.
- 14:48Speaker 7: That's like the funniest bit.
- 14:50Speaker 5: You're like literally a spinning image of Margot rob h.
- 14:58Speaker 3: You know what's funny is I always I have wondered
- 15:00Speaker 3: if you guys have had a threesome at one.
- 15:02Speaker 7: Point, what the funniest idea that'd be.
- 15:05Speaker 6: It's like the funniest idea because like I've thought about this, right,
- 15:09Speaker 6: I have thought of it.
- 15:10Speaker 7: I thought about this and gone, like, what would it happened?
- 15:13Speaker 2: Like that's what I'm wondering to, Like, what would happened?
- 15:16Speaker 5: I think it happened.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I think I wouldn't do anything collaboratively with you guys
- 15:19Speaker 1: unless it was kind of like a goal on the page, and.
- 15:23Speaker 6: I would imagine, imagine the threesome some target like ten
- 15:27Speaker 6: thousand dollars and we have a threesome.
- 15:30Speaker 2: What I got to do for five?
- 15:31Speaker 7: I don't think, like imagine it was twenty two hundred and.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Like, or what if it was like a smaller goal,
- 15:41Speaker 2: what if it.
- 15:41Speaker 7: Was just like what if we just kind of put
- 15:44Speaker 7: it back?
- 15:44Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 15:45Speaker 2: In Okay, your turn.
- 15:48Speaker 4: My name is Bert Boyle.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I'm playing Stinker, the referee of the arcade game, and
- 15:55Speaker 3: he's kind of a nerd but lovable. I would say
- 15:57Speaker 3: his concert somewhere between Dwight Shrew and Schmidt from New Girl.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Right in the middle, and if.
- 16:05Speaker 1: You give a certain amount of money, you can decide
- 16:07Speaker 1: on the shom spectrum spectrum, and that spectrum is big.
- 16:29Speaker 2: We've britten it off.
- 16:30Speaker 5: We've read it out and yeah we have it's on
- 16:33Speaker 5: a white board and we pigured it out and we
- 16:34Speaker 5: can move it depending on the voting.
- 16:38Speaker 7: I know, as it stands, you are three quarters of
- 16:41Speaker 7: the way to shreot.
- 16:43Speaker 5: We are.
- 16:43Speaker 7: There's still time, ninety seven percent of the way there.
- 16:45Speaker 7: The final day is today.
- 16:47Speaker 4: The trajectory is is going true. If you donate, you
- 16:52Speaker 4: can get me more Schmidt. I would like that.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I would prefer that I will play either. I'm excited.
- 16:59Speaker 3: He's the Raskle, He's you know. I am so excited
- 17:02Speaker 3: because we came up with this idea. I said, I
- 17:04Speaker 3: want to play the lovable weird.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 17:07Speaker 4: And it's been so fun to be put in that hole.
- 17:10Speaker 2: It's literally awesome and I'm so happy you were down
- 17:12Speaker 2: for that.
- 17:13Speaker 3: What's craziest, I didn't know how many pitches you were
- 17:15Speaker 3: going to have for me, of all the things that
- 17:17Speaker 3: we're going to be put up on my body and.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Yeah, hit me in the nut.
- 17:21Speaker 8: Yeah, that's like.
- 17:23Speaker 5: That's like the thing with like these movies and those
- 17:25Speaker 5: kind of guys, like you want to see them like
- 17:27Speaker 5: get hit in the nuts, like you have pizza on
- 17:30Speaker 5: their face, Like yeah you do, get like covert.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and it speaks to your charms. Say it speaks
- 17:37Speaker 2: to your charm, you really do.
- 17:39Speaker 7: That's so fucking funny.
- 17:41Speaker 1: It speaks to your charm because like even when we
- 17:44Speaker 1: like push you for fun and you fall, it's so charming.
- 17:47Speaker 2: It's so charming. We were missed to put it in
- 17:50Speaker 2: the movie.
- 17:51Speaker 7: Oh my gosh. The pogo stick bit is so funny.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Oh that's a really funny bit. It's it goes up
- 17:57Speaker 3: your so it goes what's crazy? Is it hits me
- 18:00Speaker 3: in the notes? I fall down, It flies in the
- 18:03Speaker 3: air on a big old bounce. I'm rolling up.
- 18:08Speaker 2: That's so bad.
- 18:09Speaker 5: I cannot wait for that reaction shot of think you're
- 18:12Speaker 5: close up on your face.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 18:15Speaker 6: My favorite thing in movies that I can't wait to
- 18:17Speaker 6: replicate is when there's a shot of one person's eyes
- 18:20Speaker 6: and they wide and you could tell something went up there.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Ask yeah, that's cool.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I think I would be I would be remiss if
- 18:28Speaker 1: I didn't bring up the fact that if you don't
- 18:31Speaker 1: if we don't hit one of our goals, we don't
- 18:33Speaker 1: have a stunt coordinator or a safety ty on sevendy.
- 18:36Speaker 2: So there's a world in which we do this.
- 18:39Speaker 5: Is not including stunt guy or safety coordinator. You would
- 18:43Speaker 5: have to make one hundred and fifty percent of what
- 18:45Speaker 5: we've put up on seven sparked.
- 18:46Speaker 7: Yeah, it's also like a safety thing.
- 18:48Speaker 2: And that's why I think you should like think about
- 18:49Speaker 2: that when you're giving.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Well, yeah, yeah, if we don't reach a certain goal,
- 18:52Speaker 3: we don't get the goalpro that goes on the pogost
- 18:54Speaker 3: goes into my.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Ass, and that's creative your body, and I appreciate that.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I actually would be okay if we didn't reach that goal.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Speaking of check the goal, Oh my god, okay, okay.
- 19:05Speaker 3: In the last ten minutes, this is really exciting. On
- 19:07Speaker 3: the go fund met, we have raised forty dollars.
- 19:10Speaker 2: This is crazy. This is crazy, guys.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Much shout out to uh Steally Dave, I guess that
- 19:19Speaker 3: must be a name or that's so funny funny donated
- 19:22Speaker 3: forty dollars.
- 19:23Speaker 2: And really thank you.
- 19:24Speaker 4: You know, if you've donate forty dollars, you.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Get the T shirt, and you get a DVD copy
- 19:29Speaker 2: of the movie when it's made, and.
- 19:30Speaker 4: You get a button from set from one of the
- 19:32Speaker 4: arcade games.
- 19:34Speaker 1: It's gonna be so fun Hey, guys, I'm Jenny. I
- 19:37Speaker 1: like I like we said, I wrote the movie and
- 19:40Speaker 1: I'm going to be in it. I'm so excited.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I'm so wait.
- 19:42Speaker 6: You know, you know what's so funny that you're because
- 19:44Speaker 6: you're Jenny, and I just realized you guys look like
- 19:47Speaker 6: Justin Timberlake and Jessica bial.
- 19:49Speaker 7: No way, Yeah, just stop, like one of those couples
- 19:52Speaker 7: that's just kind of like.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Jenny make you think of that?
- 19:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so what's so funny about my name that made
- 19:57Speaker 2: you think?
- 19:57Speaker 7: I don't like Jessica Because Jenny and jenn Sica kind
- 20:00Speaker 7: of like rhyme.
- 20:01Speaker 2: You're so funny.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Stop.
- 20:04Speaker 1: It was like I was watching the Barbie movie when
- 20:05Speaker 1: you said that you look so much like Margo Robins.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I'm It's so true.
- 20:09Speaker 7: You guys are like Jessica feel it's just a differently.
- 20:15Speaker 2: So anyway, Yeah, I love creative writing. I'm really into
- 20:21Speaker 2: It's me Jenny, not Jessica.
- 20:22Speaker 1: VI.
- 20:23Speaker 7: You have to keep her mind.
- 20:26Speaker 5: I really do.
- 20:26Speaker 1: We are Hey what Sorry, I keep talking about the clips.
- 20:31Speaker 1: We're ninety percent funded on our indie movie. My name
- 20:34Speaker 1: is Jenny uh Marb, Jenny Marb, Jenny Marb and Marb.
- 20:41Speaker 2: You know, I've just been so excited to work with
- 20:43Speaker 2: you guys and just do this thing. Just do this thing,
- 20:46Speaker 2: just do this thing.
- 20:47Speaker 5: Well, you're not only the creative writer too, like you
- 20:49Speaker 5: also are acting in it. Yes, it's like a vehicle
- 20:52Speaker 5: for both of you, which I like, really.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Really love and I love that, like because of my
- 20:57Speaker 1: creative writing background, you guys were so receptive to meet
- 21:00Speaker 1: calling me instead of being the screenwriter, being the creative writer.
- 21:02Speaker 2: And that's why I want to also be the creative actor.
- 21:04Speaker 5: But that's like the cool thing about this is like
- 21:06Speaker 5: we get to decide nobody.
- 21:09Speaker 2: We get to decide what everything is. There's no red tap.
- 21:12Speaker 4: We are the gate keepers. We hold the keys to
- 21:15Speaker 4: the kingdom.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Welcome to the new Guard. We're in charge now and
- 21:20Speaker 1: the kingdom is password protected. Can we talk about our
- 21:24Speaker 1: passwords on all these accounts? We have to organize our past,
- 21:26Speaker 1: we have to organize our kickstarted. Password is spooky goblin
- 21:32Speaker 1: say it.
- 21:33Speaker 2: You're just a loser, No, I said, we have to
- 21:36Speaker 2: talk about our organization the past. Sorry, okay, go just in.
- 21:41Speaker 7: We're gonna have to actually scariest one to give away too,
- 21:47Speaker 7: because that's where all the money is.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Well, and that's the scariest one to put in every
- 21:50Speaker 4: time I write it.
- 21:51Speaker 1: No, it's spooky, and that's why we thought no one
- 21:53Speaker 1: would hack it, because no one would type that.
- 21:55Speaker 3: To imagine what if I accidentally was putting that into
- 21:58Speaker 3: a website. That's something the thing that I wrote down
- 22:01Speaker 3: instead of using it as a password.
- 22:03Speaker 6: It is that could happen, and I'm glad we decided
- 22:05Speaker 6: to do We did that as a security measure, to
- 22:07Speaker 6: do something scary that people wouldn't want to tie.
- 22:09Speaker 3: You imagine the idea, it's all your passwords come to life.
- 22:16Speaker 1: So then you start like writing like a hot girl
- 22:19Speaker 1: is your password and she appears.
- 22:22Speaker 2: If we do that one. I don't want to do that.
- 22:33Speaker 7: Oh my gosh.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Sorry, I smoked so many cigarettes because this movie is
- 22:37Speaker 5: that's okay, because I can't get sick right now.
- 22:39Speaker 6: It's not.
- 22:40Speaker 5: It's not I'm not getting sick. You're not going to
- 22:42Speaker 5: get sick. You're not going to get sick.
- 22:45Speaker 7: You're not gonna you're not going to get sick.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Dude, I can't get sick.
- 22:49Speaker 2: You're scared. You can't get sick.
- 22:50Speaker 7: Right now, he's been he's been coughing for nine months.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Yeah, I've been calling for nine months because I smoke cigarettes.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Because you coughed.
- 22:56Speaker 7: Before we took Yeah, we coughed. He started coughing around.
- 23:02Speaker 6: Because my boyfriend, because I remember we were at the
- 23:05Speaker 6: we were at the Alesion.
- 23:06Speaker 7: We were on a conference call. We heard a cough.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we were like, oh, my boyfriend's coughing, and that's
- 23:10Speaker 2: how we add up that.
- 23:11Speaker 7: That's how we figured it out.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You guys on a conference callsion.
- 23:14Speaker 5: It was.
- 23:15Speaker 9: It was.
- 23:16Speaker 6: It was like this hilarious clouding bit we were doing
- 23:19Speaker 6: where we were like, what if we actually called someone?
- 23:22Speaker 5: Is such a classic clown. You cannot get enough the
- 23:26Speaker 5: idea of actually calling someone.
- 23:28Speaker 6: And it's funny because it's real and it's actually happening
- 23:30Speaker 6: on stage and you can feel the audience go, this
- 23:32Speaker 6: is real the audience.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Not to them. They called me. I was literally working.
- 23:38Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm sorry. We pretended to be customers.
- 23:42Speaker 2: You ordered an ask pizza on stage and you made it.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I had to. I was working you, guys, were
- 23:48Speaker 4: not you like sat.
- 23:49Speaker 7: On a pizza. You delivered. The pizza came and there
- 23:51Speaker 7: was your ass was on it.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Asked me to do that?
- 23:54Speaker 5: This is as to do that as Hey, what's up, guys.
- 23:58Speaker 5: I am Dante Inferno. I am the director of untitled
- 24:04Speaker 5: Arcade project, and I'm so excited to bring this project
- 24:08Speaker 5: to you. Our untitled Arcade Project to me is a
- 24:12Speaker 5: beautiful story about when two girls get to know each
- 24:15Speaker 5: other at their job and have to fight the system
- 24:18Speaker 5: in order to find their place in the world. It's
- 24:21Speaker 5: about growing up, getting older, but also having a lot
- 24:24Speaker 5: of fun along the way.
- 24:25Speaker 4: And Stinker.
- 24:27Speaker 5: Stinker is this amazing character that comes in probably about
- 24:31Speaker 5: five minutes of the movie. He's kind of the antagonist
- 24:34Speaker 5: and holding these girls back.
- 24:36Speaker 2: You're so good at this clip, baby, keep going.
- 24:37Speaker 5: But Stinker also has a secret of his own. What's
- 24:40Speaker 5: his secret? You'll have to donate to find out.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Wait, he's a secret.
- 24:45Speaker 6: Well, yeah, remember we talked about because if they don't
- 24:49Speaker 6: donate a certain amount, we keep your character more one dimensional. Yeah, right,
- 24:53Speaker 6: And you have to donate to make the writing better.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Guys, Give my character a wife, Give my character trauma,
- 24:59Speaker 3: Give my character past.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Please, I also want to talk about this discussion we
- 25:03Speaker 1: were having earlier today. I'd be remiss if I didn't
- 25:06Speaker 1: bring it up. Keep being remissed, girl, you remiss. It's
- 25:16Speaker 1: a remiss summer. So I would be remiss if I
- 25:19Speaker 1: didn't bring up that. You you are kind of pushing
- 25:22Speaker 1: back a little bit with the the schweite spit the
- 25:27Speaker 1: shrewd Schmitch spectrum, because I think it.
- 25:30Speaker 7: Will be bad ten times fast.
- 25:32Speaker 10: Such spactrum spactrum.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I think I think we would be remiss if we
- 25:39Speaker 1: didn't make it a goal that it could change every day,
- 25:43Speaker 1: because then I think what's fun about that is the
- 25:45Speaker 1: money keeps coming in, right, and they could give more
- 25:48Speaker 1: money to.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Change it, so then you can watch your performance change.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Oh so like in one scene, I'm very shrewd and
- 25:54Speaker 3: one scene I'm very Schmidt. I think for me as
- 25:57Speaker 3: a character, that leaves me susceptible to be cut.
- 26:00Speaker 4: From the entire thing.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Right, So I think in general I would say maybe
- 26:04Speaker 2: I would go against that. We would never cut you
- 26:06Speaker 2: make sure we don't.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Was like, so, like, he's gonna be the driving antagonist
- 26:12Speaker 5: towards this awesome plot, their goal of figuring out their
- 26:16Speaker 5: lives before the.
- 26:17Speaker 8: End of the morning.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Yeah, and like if, like just in a creative sense,
- 26:21Speaker 6: if you weren't here, like who knows what would happen?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Like literally, like what would happen if you weren't here?
- 26:27Speaker 1: And also like to be honest, when you put hot
- 26:30Speaker 1: people in movies, like my sweet friend, when you put
- 26:32Speaker 1: out people in movies, you kind of need to do
- 26:34Speaker 1: like a little bit like of a like a barometer
- 26:36Speaker 1: and show somebody who isn't hot in this universe to
- 26:38Speaker 1: show how hot she is.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Well, and I want to say, Rachel, I
- 26:42Speaker 2: would not want chel.
- 26:47Speaker 8: Rachel Rachel Pie.
- 26:49Speaker 6: You got to write that Downel, my name is Rachel Pie.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Rachel. I want to say, I don't don't knock yourself short.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I think if I wasn't here, you guys again up
- 27:00Speaker 2: to a lot of stuff I think.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Get I don't even.
- 27:03Speaker 7: Get up to I don't just have this idea if
- 27:06Speaker 7: you're this heck, I have no.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Idea, like so bored, like maybe something would happen.
- 27:10Speaker 7: Like maybe something would happen, But I have no ideas.
- 27:13Speaker 2: And when I'm bored, I laid down. Yeah, when I'm bored,
- 27:16Speaker 2: I go to bed. I have to find a pillow
- 27:18Speaker 2: and comfortable mattress. And if I were, I.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Would just be like I would just be like conked out,
- 27:27Speaker 6: Like I would be like horizontal.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Yeah, in the mindset, like I get like really like
- 27:33Speaker 5: do anything to me when I'm bored.
- 27:35Speaker 2: If I'm bored. If I'm bored and I have a
- 27:36Speaker 2: jacket on, I'm taking the jacket off. Yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 6: Like if I'm bored, I'm like I just have to
- 27:41Speaker 6: like sleep like with covers on, like not getting like clothes.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Same. I I was scared to say that, but same. Same.
- 27:47Speaker 2: When I'm bored, I like to my clothes off, to
- 27:50Speaker 2: sleep with my clothes off as well.
- 27:52Speaker 7: So we can't.
- 27:52Speaker 2: You can't can't leave, actually can't.
- 27:55Speaker 5: We can't leave, otherwise we'd all be bored, don't.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Well I actually really wanted Thanks guys.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Why don't we talk about some of the tiers, the
- 28:04Speaker 5: donating tiers that we can.
- 28:05Speaker 7: Hit, yeahs, tears and tiers.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Because we've gotten some donations, we've also gotten some questions
- 28:11Speaker 5: that we can answer to maybe get some more donations.
- 28:15Speaker 5: So why don't we jump up with the tears? Why
- 28:16Speaker 5: don't we go around and say what happens at every tier.
- 28:19Speaker 1: It's called the Ask Me Anything vending machine, where I'm sorry,
- 28:26Speaker 1: let me finish. I'd be remits B I did and
- 28:28Speaker 1: explain this on on one of our seeds.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Are we going to go around? We were going to
- 28:33Speaker 2: go around one of the more.
- 28:36Speaker 1: There is a a m A vending machine, the first
- 28:39Speaker 1: ever national a m A that you pay to submit.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:43Speaker 6: Well, and also like like the vending machine is practical,
- 28:47Speaker 6: we are building a physical am vending machine.
- 28:50Speaker 5: So we will like you have submitted your asks and
- 28:53Speaker 5: we are putting them in the knees and we're about
- 28:55Speaker 5: to answer everything.
- 28:56Speaker 3: You're utilizing every cousin we have. It's going to be
- 28:58Speaker 3: in nine cities this summer. It's going to go from city.
- 29:01Speaker 7: We're going my cousin in Virginia.
- 29:04Speaker 5: And then mine and Rally, North Carolina, and then it's
- 29:06Speaker 5: going to mine in Anaheim, which feels like it jumps
- 29:09Speaker 5: really fine.
- 29:09Speaker 4: It's just chipping, so it's fine.
- 29:11Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not like a tour schedule.
- 29:14Speaker 2: It's like shipping box basically boxes off to sleep and
- 29:17Speaker 2: then put it and bring it to my Tampa. For
- 29:20Speaker 2: wait a second, boxes, what if boxes have to sleep?
- 29:24Speaker 2: Box it has to go to bed box hired box.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Wait, how would Amazon work box vacation?
- 29:31Speaker 5: Box vacation? What happens to all the Amazon boxes when
- 29:35Speaker 5: you're done with them?
- 29:36Speaker 2: To beat? Box time off?
- 29:39Speaker 7: Box time off?
- 29:40Speaker 3: B t O Box CEO Boxes time off, Boxes time.
- 29:45Speaker 7: Bos, I gotta ask my boss for box time off.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Guys, we have to.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Stop motion.
- 29:59Speaker 6: I have to talk about the fifteen thousand dollar tier,
- 30:02Speaker 6: which we did hit, which means all of us.
- 30:07Speaker 7: Have to wear hats the whole time.
- 30:09Speaker 6: You guys voted on this, so you at each benchmark,
- 30:13Speaker 6: you know, there's like a little bit of a vote.
- 30:15Speaker 6: It's kind of like Survivor fifty how they did it.
- 30:18Speaker 6: And so now we have to find ways for our
- 30:21Speaker 6: characters to justify Like, Okay, well now I'm wearing a
- 30:24Speaker 6: hat because I'm like kind of a guy's girl in this.
- 30:27Speaker 6: Now I'm wearing a hat because I'm a magician. I'm
- 30:29Speaker 6: like working on being a magician. It's like sort of
- 30:31Speaker 6: that kind of thing.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Yeah, it's awesome, it's gonna be so funny.
- 30:33Speaker 4: Should we do the teers like you had asked? Yes,
- 30:36Speaker 4: might we go around and.
- 30:37Speaker 7: We'll go that's what I thought I was doing.
- 30:39Speaker 5: It was really good.
- 30:40Speaker 4: Were starting a fifteen K is that high.
- 30:44Speaker 2: It's really hard. I'm sorry, I'm gonna speak up for
- 30:46Speaker 2: my best friend.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I don't think we understood what you said because I
- 30:49Speaker 1: don't really get it. You want to go from the
- 30:50Speaker 1: tiers from one dollar all the way?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, what you get if you don't?
- 30:55Speaker 6: Well, sorry, I just I guess I just wasn't thinking
- 30:58Speaker 6: of the lower ones because and you donate just the
- 31:00Speaker 6: lower tiers.
- 31:01Speaker 7: It hurts my feelings.
- 31:02Speaker 5: So whoa, don't hurt Rachel's feeling talk about.
- 31:05Speaker 2: The feelings line. That's anything given below twenty dollars. Yeah,
- 31:09Speaker 2: it feels like a personal attack, and you might as
- 31:11Speaker 2: well tell us to not make the product.
- 31:13Speaker 5: It feels like you're trying to with your dollar or
- 31:15Speaker 5: ten dollars or fifteen, even nineteen dollars donation.
- 31:17Speaker 2: It feels like you want us to fail.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Especially when that day you're probably going to see, like,
- 31:22Speaker 1: I don't know, some Marvel movie for that exact price.
- 31:26Speaker 5: Literally, like you could watch a Marvel movie, or you
- 31:29Speaker 5: could donate to this awesome, amazingly inspiring indie project where
- 31:34Speaker 5: real locals are going to get hired and paid. Talk
- 31:38Speaker 5: about it, real locals.
- 31:39Speaker 2: If you donate one dollar I will give myself a sunburn.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Have you ever seen anyone do that? Sad? It's really sad.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Any more than that.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Or I'll give myself a sun If you give it's okay.
- 31:53Speaker 4: I cannot get sick right now.
- 31:55Speaker 2: He can't get sick. Cut this please. If you give
- 31:59Speaker 2: two dollars, I'm never gonna wash my car again.
- 32:06Speaker 5: If you give five dollars, I write a mean poem
- 32:09Speaker 5: to myself.
- 32:11Speaker 6: If you give ten dollars, I call my mom and
- 32:16Speaker 6: I tell her never to speak to me again.
- 32:19Speaker 7: And I loved my mom. We have a great relationship.
- 32:23Speaker 7: So think about what you're doing.
- 32:26Speaker 3: If you give twenty dollars, we have to eat a
- 32:28Speaker 3: pizza with gummy bears on it. You us ew have
- 32:34Speaker 3: to get it from Jasano's. And if you get the
- 32:35Speaker 3: gummy bears from Bill's Liquor.
- 32:37Speaker 2: And Atwater, that's so far from each other.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Corito's gummies too.
- 32:42Speaker 7: Oh, the kind of make you poop. So that's the
- 32:47Speaker 7: twenty dollars.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Now we give the fun then we get to the
- 32:49Speaker 2: fun way.
- 32:49Speaker 7: If you get want to the fun one.
- 32:51Speaker 1: If you give twenty one dollars, your name is one
- 32:55Speaker 1: of the background actors' names.
- 32:57Speaker 3: If they told us it was crazy to do these
- 32:59Speaker 3: such marginal es. They told us, maybe go to the
- 33:02Speaker 3: big landmarks. But you know how many people have donated
- 33:04Speaker 3: twenty one dollars?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Do you know how many extras we're walking around going
- 33:08Speaker 1: your name is soccer mom, fifty, your name is yeah.
- 33:11Speaker 5: So if you donate twenty one to fifty, your initials
- 33:15Speaker 5: will be featured in the movie somewhere. You just have
- 33:18Speaker 5: to find them and put them togethers either in a
- 33:21Speaker 5: line of dialogue yeah, or a prop.
- 33:24Speaker 6: If you donate twenty two dollars, we name a bowl
- 33:28Speaker 6: of nachos after you.
- 33:30Speaker 7: That is crazy, Yeah, so we had to put a
- 33:32Speaker 7: lot of nachos in the movie.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Actually, if you donate twenty two oh four, we will
- 33:40Speaker 3: draw you as an anime character.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Uh oh, what's.
- 33:44Speaker 7: Ahead stretch goal?
- 33:46Speaker 1: If you give twenty four dollars, you get to come
- 33:50Speaker 1: with me to my favorite store game stop.
- 33:54Speaker 2: That don't which is crazy. Twenty four dollars. A lot
- 33:56Speaker 2: of people have donated that. Yeah, and that's kill me
- 33:58Speaker 2: if I want to hang out and.
- 33:59Speaker 4: It's really fun. That's a stretch goal.
- 34:03Speaker 5: Because we jump right up from twenty four all the
- 34:05Speaker 5: way up. Because if you give one hundred dollars, you
- 34:08Speaker 5: get a name from us.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yeah, we need you.
- 34:13Speaker 7: We change your name.
- 34:14Speaker 4: We will go through the legal process of changing your
- 34:17Speaker 4: name with the court.
- 34:18Speaker 7: We'll fill out all the paperwork. We can't even have
- 34:21Speaker 7: to do a thing.
- 34:22Speaker 1: We can do this because I live in walking distance
- 34:24Speaker 1: of a DMV. Yeah, and my cousin is a notary,
- 34:29Speaker 1: and with that we can change the world.
- 34:31Speaker 4: We can do any best team, this.
- 34:33Speaker 7: Is the best team in show business.
- 34:47Speaker 6: If you get one hundred, If you donate one hundred
- 34:49Speaker 6: and fifty dollars, we write a ten second song about you.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, a TikTok song, A TikTok song.
- 34:57Speaker 3: If you donated four hundred dollars, you get to decide
- 35:02Speaker 3: if I'm wearing glasses or not.
- 35:03Speaker 2: This goes back to the Shrewd Schmidt spectrucle.
- 35:06Speaker 6: Yes, this is where we start being able to creatively
- 35:10Speaker 6: influence characters in the movie.
- 35:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:13Speaker 1: If you give five hundred and fifty five dollars, you
- 35:17Speaker 1: give my character in the movie a phone.
- 35:22Speaker 5: This is integral. We're really hoping that she gets me.
- 35:25Speaker 4: It's a huge plot point because you receive phone calls.
- 35:27Speaker 7: Scenes with the phone.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Because this character there is sick in the hospital she
- 35:31Speaker 2: needs phone calls.
- 35:32Speaker 5: Yeah, if you give one thousand dollars, you get to
- 35:34Speaker 5: choose what kind of underwear stinker wears.
- 35:38Speaker 1: The choices are beef, surfboard, Jolly Ranchers, or regular or
- 35:44Speaker 1: regular tidy whities.
- 35:46Speaker 2: I if you have common sense out there, I highly
- 35:49Speaker 2: suggest you've done it.
- 35:50Speaker 4: One thousand dollars.
- 35:51Speaker 3: If you're interested in me not having some sort of
- 35:54Speaker 3: bad day, I would love for knowing one thousand dollars
- 35:57Speaker 3: and pick regular.
- 35:58Speaker 6: If you donate two thousand dollars, my character gets to
- 36:07Speaker 6: do the movie with her eyes open.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Another integral reach.
- 36:11Speaker 7: It's an integral part of the character.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Because if you donate five, no.
- 36:21Speaker 4: Tech go find of the movie.
- 36:22Speaker 7: Because because.
- 36:27Speaker 12: If you donate five thousand dollars, we get to hire
- 36:30Speaker 12: a camera. We get a camera and this is where
- 36:34Speaker 12: the real boots on the ground, this is what we need.
- 36:39Speaker 1: If you give us five thousand and five hundred dollars,
- 36:41Speaker 1: we get to put that camera on eah tripod.
- 36:44Speaker 8: That's right.
- 36:45Speaker 5: If you give us five thousand, five hundred and one dollars,
- 36:49Speaker 5: I go to the movies with you.
- 36:51Speaker 6: If you donate sit sixteen thousand dollars. If you don'tate
- 37:00Speaker 6: sixteen thousand dollars, we get to eat lunch while we're
- 37:05Speaker 6: shooting this.
- 37:07Speaker 4: And if you donate twenty thousand dollars, we will live
- 37:14Speaker 4: with you for a year.
- 37:17Speaker 5: That's kind of the final biggest one.
- 37:18Speaker 2: And that's the biggest one.
- 37:19Speaker 1: And if you do that within this week, you'll get
- 37:23Speaker 1: to either stay in me, Rachel and Dante Inferno's room.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Rachel, oh, Rachel.
- 37:32Speaker 7: If you give, if you give it, you have to
- 37:34Speaker 7: write this down.
- 37:34Speaker 2: If you give two thousand, how is it? Twenty that?
- 37:37Speaker 3: What is it?
- 37:37Speaker 1: If you give twenty thousand dollars this week, you get
- 37:40Speaker 1: to stay in me and Rachel and Dante Inferno's room.
- 37:42Speaker 1: We're all in one room, yes, And then if you
- 37:44Speaker 1: give it after that next week you have to be
- 37:46Speaker 1: in stinkers room.
- 37:47Speaker 4: You get to be I mean you said get to
- 37:48Speaker 4: you have to.
- 37:49Speaker 7: Yeah, you have to be have to.
- 37:51Speaker 2: That's trying to be a fast one.
- 37:52Speaker 4: Like you give that.
- 37:53Speaker 5: We are so close to getting funding, and if it
- 37:55Speaker 5: goes through, we get a shoot on location. We found
- 37:58Speaker 5: arcade up in Lake Arrowhead. It's gonna be so cute.
- 38:01Speaker 5: There's bunk beds. The cabins are US three and sinkers
- 38:04Speaker 5: in his own cabin. Really exciting. I'm just wondering what's
- 38:07Speaker 5: gonna exciting.
- 38:08Speaker 6: I'm really Yeah, because the layout of our room is
- 38:11Speaker 6: so funny, because it's funny.
- 38:13Speaker 7: You guys have this king bed and I'm in like
- 38:15Speaker 7: a little bunk bed over.
- 38:16Speaker 2: It's almost like your bed is watching our So it's
- 38:19Speaker 2: so weird. Yeah, I'm like the top for some reason,
- 38:22Speaker 2: I think, like I.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Think we do on top of we are like kind
- 38:24Speaker 5: of on bottom.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Yeah, to deal in the room because for some reason,
- 38:27Speaker 1: it's like a room where the beds like one of
- 38:29Speaker 1: those hearts.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a big heart with.
- 38:31Speaker 7: A mirror on time, So that's hard to the broom.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:35Speaker 5: Yeah, this is such a funny bit that keeps on
- 38:37Speaker 5: going on.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Like Yeah, and we're gonna put all the film crew,
- 38:43Speaker 1: the film cameras in our room.
- 38:47Speaker 5: We're just gonna store them there.
- 38:48Speaker 7: We're just gonna I think it would be good to
- 38:50Speaker 7: store them there because like Secer.
- 38:52Speaker 5: I know that you like you're kind of scared of lenses.
- 38:55Speaker 7: Yeah, so we wouldn't want to like alarm.
- 38:59Speaker 2: In the dark. You kind of scared of lenses, kind
- 39:01Speaker 2: of scared of lenses. You get really nervous in front
- 39:03Speaker 2: of listen.
- 39:04Speaker 6: You don't even have to talk about it if you
- 39:06Speaker 6: don't want to have to talk about it, because like
- 39:08Speaker 6: we don't want you to have to bring up any trauma.
- 39:10Speaker 7: Like you are really scared of lenses.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I think we don't.
- 39:13Speaker 1: We're not naturally scared of lenses because we naturally kind
- 39:15Speaker 1: of look like Margot Robbie.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Yeah, justin Timberlake and yeah, and.
- 39:20Speaker 5: Jessica feel remember because jessic Real sounds so much like Jenny.
- 39:23Speaker 7: That's how I look like her.
- 39:25Speaker 8: Think of it.
- 39:26Speaker 4: My mom thinks I look like Christopher Abbott.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 9: Okay, yeah, okay, you look like my mom told me
- 39:38Speaker 9: Christopher abby where we are.
- 39:41Speaker 7: We have to check check in, check in.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Okay, I'm seeing the seed and spark is now gone
- 39:46Speaker 1: from eighty seven percent?
- 39:50Speaker 4: Guys, what we may gosh?
- 39:58Speaker 8: Yes, yes, this is crazy.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Wow.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we're making Okay, should we start writing it?
- 40:23Speaker 7: I think we should?
- 40:25Speaker 2: You should.
- 40:26Speaker 6: I mean we should see what people are saying too,
- 40:28Speaker 6: because I'm also something I'm really excited about that, Like
- 40:32Speaker 6: I just can't stop thinking about that Mike and Ike thing.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Yeah you know what I mean, because wait, hold on
- 40:37Speaker 3: a minute, I'm already feeling this the money can't change us.
- 40:43Speaker 4: Just because we reach our goal doesn't mean we can
- 40:45Speaker 4: start throwing.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Anything shifted in the room. I don't think anything changed.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Change just move to the mic and movie. We literally
- 40:54Speaker 3: just were about to change the whole idea.
- 40:56Speaker 7: No, we're gonna stay true to ourselves.
- 40:59Speaker 5: Because sit down and get this movie going, because like,
- 41:03Speaker 5: now we have the funding. What else we just have
- 41:07Speaker 5: the fun party. I was just thinking, what are you thinking? Like, like,
- 41:13Speaker 5: do you guys think like one hundred thousand dollars is enough?
- 41:15Speaker 5: Even like because like what if we need a car?
- 41:18Speaker 5: I was just thinking, what if we need to rent
- 41:20Speaker 5: a car for something?
- 41:21Speaker 2: Yeah? Or what if what if we like what if
- 41:24Speaker 2: we're trying to make all three of the movies too?
- 41:28Speaker 6: Because like also, I'm just thinking about all the little
- 41:32Speaker 6: girls out there who like deserve to see the other movies.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I need to deserve to see the Looks and go
- 41:37Speaker 2: on vacation.
- 41:38Speaker 7: They deserve to see the Box Good Vacation.
- 41:40Speaker 5: Sure to see Mike and I be gay deserve.
- 41:43Speaker 2: It because I think about all the little girls to
- 41:45Speaker 2: deserve it. Just think the girls, we're getting a little
- 41:48Speaker 2: ahead of ourselves.
- 41:49Speaker 3: What if we make a really good movie, right, And
- 41:51Speaker 3: there's this thing, there's this mantra that everyone's saying and
- 41:54Speaker 3: I don't know what it means, but there's someone saying it.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Everyone's saying obsession backrooms, obsession, backrooms, obsession, back rooms, like
- 42:00Speaker 3: they're saying.
- 42:00Speaker 2: It all around time.
- 42:01Speaker 3: God, And I wonder if that's obsession back Room's untitled
- 42:04Speaker 3: arcade project? What if that throws in that's part of it.
- 42:08Speaker 3: But make a good one, and then we can get
- 42:10Speaker 3: more money for other people, not from from crowdfunding people.
- 42:13Speaker 6: But this is an endorsement, right, Like all these people
- 42:15Speaker 6: gave us money because they believe that we're sort of
- 42:17Speaker 6: like the next collective Spielberg, Like we are sort of
- 42:21Speaker 6: the responsible people responsible for shepherding.
- 42:24Speaker 7: New Hollywood over the line, Like why would we stop
- 42:28Speaker 7: at one movie?
- 42:29Speaker 1: It's so true, Like I think, like, what are we
- 42:31Speaker 1: doing with this crowdfunding? We're essentially breaking down the studios.
- 42:35Speaker 1: So so once we break it down, we have to
- 42:36Speaker 1: build it back up. And I think what's the most
- 42:38Speaker 1: responsible to all of our patrons is to have a
- 42:42Speaker 1: full year, to have a full year slated of material, like,
- 42:48Speaker 1: like you want to know that your dollar is not
- 42:50Speaker 1: just going to the untitled Arcade movie. But it's also
- 42:53Speaker 1: going into the future of a filmography that's going to
- 42:56Speaker 1: be expensive.
- 42:57Speaker 3: So don't you think though, that's gonna be Like, so
- 43:01Speaker 3: we just do an update and say so, you're no
- 43:03Speaker 3: longer donated to one movie, You're don't need to a filmography.
- 43:06Speaker 5: I've got it because this is a really interesting conversation
- 43:12Speaker 5: that feels like a more interesting movie. This conversation crowdfunding
- 43:18Speaker 5: the movie that we crowdfund for starting today, Babe.
- 43:23Speaker 2: The back rooms of crowdfunding is crowdfunding.
- 43:27Speaker 7: This is the back rooms of crowdfunding. This is the
- 43:32Speaker 7: back of it.
- 43:34Speaker 2: This is be Sessions. Our obsession is just to crowdfund money.
- 43:39Speaker 7: We're doing the studio, but for the future. We're doing
- 43:44Speaker 7: thirty Rock for the future.
- 43:46Speaker 6: We're doing the producers for the future. We're doing meta Hollywood.
- 43:51Speaker 6: But it's the new Hollywood, and it's something nobody has
- 43:53Speaker 6: seen yet. And all those little girls have not seen.
- 43:56Speaker 1: That, Yettle girls, and I think you're just getting so boxing.
- 43:59Speaker 1: You're so boxing, think like, oh, is this crowdfunding just
- 44:02Speaker 1: for that scene where we stick a pogo stick up
- 44:04Speaker 1: your athlete.
- 44:05Speaker 2: It's so much bigger than this.
- 44:06Speaker 5: So much bigger than so much.
- 44:08Speaker 4: We don't want to do that, We don't have to
- 44:09Speaker 4: do that.
- 44:09Speaker 5: No, we have to do that.
- 44:11Speaker 7: That's like a crux of the film that our entire
- 44:14Speaker 7: slate doesn't make any sense. If we don't do that,
- 44:16Speaker 7: her eyes.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Can be closed the whole movie.
- 44:17Speaker 5: And it's fine. You need to have that pogo stick
- 44:20Speaker 5: go up your ask. Okay, So guys, welcome to crowdfunding
- 44:25Speaker 5: the movie. We are so expired and ready to introduce
- 44:29Speaker 5: the newest project that we are ready to start working on.
- 44:32Speaker 5: And we've launched our last crowdfunding was so successful we
- 44:37Speaker 5: have decided to launch another crowdfund right away.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Have you ever seen a crowdfunding hit its goal and
- 44:42Speaker 1: immediately shoot you with five more goals? Because that's what's
- 44:45Speaker 1: happening here. I would be remiss if I didn't explain
- 44:49Speaker 1: that the studio model is dead, is in a ditch
- 44:52Speaker 1: and gone. You're looking at the new heads of a studio,
- 44:55Speaker 1: and that is the crowdfunding movie Box PTO. What's it called, uh,
- 45:00Speaker 1: box box Time, off Box Time off untitled arcade project and.
- 45:06Speaker 7: Mike, Mike and Ike, Mike and Ike. This is the
- 45:10Speaker 7: future of how all of this is going to go,
- 45:13Speaker 7: but I want to take it back for a moment.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Take it back.
- 45:16Speaker 7: I was a little girl walking around the park, not.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Knowing what to do. Little girl so much, she's really
- 45:22Speaker 2: inspired by them. Let her go, DARMI, you're looking like
- 45:27Speaker 2: really sad right now. Thank you so much. I tried
- 45:30Speaker 2: better help and it didn't work.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Check out our Patreon instead of.
- 45:41Speaker 6: And then I saw a movie that day from that movie,
- 45:45Speaker 6: and then a movie that day was She Alone?
- 45:49Speaker 7: That movie was et Was it one of those motions
- 45:52Speaker 7: the projectors?
- 45:54Speaker 2: Is it a projector?
- 45:57Speaker 6: It was a movie in the park that was showing
- 46:00Speaker 6: sort of retro movies. It was sort of part of
- 46:02Speaker 6: the most Summer movie series.
- 46:03Speaker 4: The movie was showing movies.
- 46:07Speaker 7: And I knew in that moment that what I was
- 46:09Speaker 7: meant to do was tell stories.
- 46:12Speaker 6: And every dollar you give allows me to do just that,
- 46:18Speaker 6: allows me and my best friends to make the thing
- 46:22Speaker 6: we were always meant to make, and you are essential
- 46:26Speaker 6: to that. You are financiers and we couldn't do it
- 46:29Speaker 6: without you. So this is the road to one million dollars.
- 46:34Speaker 5: We are raising one million dollars for crowdfunding the movie.
- 46:38Speaker 5: Are you guys ready to jump in? Wait?
- 46:39Speaker 1: My phone's going on because I am my phone's going off.
- 46:44Speaker 1: What wait, guys, this account is not real? Wait what
- 46:52Speaker 1: I think? I wasn't on the official seed in Spark website.
- 46:56Speaker 1: I set up our account on the seed and Fark website.
- 46:59Speaker 2: What season?
- 47:02Speaker 1: I thought it was Seedon's park, but I guess I
- 47:04Speaker 1: started our whole account on seedon Fark.
- 47:06Speaker 2: And what is that?
- 47:07Speaker 7: Seated far?
- 47:08Speaker 2: You keep saying it, but you haven't described what. It's
- 47:10Speaker 2: a scam war my money, guys.
- 47:17Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I haven't seen this still just now.
- 47:20Speaker 4: I didn't start us on Kickstarter. I signed us up
- 47:24Speaker 4: on cock farter.
- 47:26Speaker 2: What's cock?
- 47:29Speaker 8: Really?
- 47:29Speaker 7: Thought we were gonna say, dick farder?
