- 0:00Speaker 1: Us this afternoon.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Letusten and gentlemen, let's welcome Apostle Salmon as a blessed
- 0:05us us today.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Through Apostles.
- 0:22Speaker 3: The Lord, thank you, You're so so very much. It's
- 0:29my pleasure. I want us to honor the State Chairman
- 0:34of PFM.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I truly honor you, sir, Thank you so much, person
- 0:38the David and his wife, and then all the executives.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I have learned the difference between people.
- 0:45Speaker 2: As friends, brothers and in their official capacity, and I
- 0:48will never abuse that. I honor every single one of
- 0:51you in that capacity. Let's give them a big, big
- 0:55God bless.
- 0:55Speaker 1: You in the name of Jesus.
- 0:59Speaker 2: And I want to salute and honor every man of God.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Most people here are preachers.
- 1:07Speaker 2: We do not do the things that we do because
- 1:10we're necessarily better. It's an election of grace and the
- 1:14messy of God. My coming here this afternoon is to
- 1:18help by the spirit to make contributions to our efficiency
- 1:22as ministers.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Of the gospel.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And then under this umbrella, and I'm hoping that a
- 1:28few minutes that we have to spend together, that God
- 1:31will add grace to grace, faith to faith. In the
- 1:36name of Jesus in the name of Jesus Christ as
- 1:39the God Man again, I know you.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Thank you so very much.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Let's lift our hands and ask a lot to speak
- 1:45to us within these minutes that we have to share
- 1:49fellowship together.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Someone is praying. My heart is opened. Speak to me.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Let the words bring perspective to my efficiency as a
- 2:04minister of the gospel. Let PFN go from glory to glory.
- 2:12In Jesus' mighty name, we pray help us this afternoon,
- 2:16Spirit of the Living God, speak to us, cause us
- 2:20to understand and that we make progress in life, destiny
- 2:25and even in ministry. To you be all the glory
- 2:28for in Jesus' name we pray. Please you may be
- 2:31gloriously seated again, God bless you. I'll be talking about
- 2:36three things very quickly. This is what the Holy Spirit
- 2:40placed upon my heart as a contribution to all the discussions.
- 2:45I understand that we have been under the influence of
- 2:48various speakers with vast experiences across leadership and ministry, and
- 2:55so this is an addition to the things that we
- 2:59have learned this morning. And I'm praying that what will
- 3:03be hearing will truly add value to our spiritual understanding
- 3:09in the name of Jesus.
- 3:11Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So I'll be talking across three areas very very quickly,
- 3:18and then hopefully will get to pray. And I consider
- 3:22this a very great opportunity because I have learned from
- 3:26scripture and by experience that the quality of believers across
- 3:32any territory is a reflection of the kind and the
- 3:37quality of priesthood within that territory also a way together.
- 3:42That means, when you sample believers in no particular order
- 3:46in Legos, it should be able to give you an
- 3:49accurate feedback as to the quality of men and women
- 3:54of God that we have serving His purposes here.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And so everyone here represents at least ten.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Twenty thirty forty people a network of churches. So in
- 4:04speaking to one leader, you are literally speaking to thousands
- 4:07of people.
- 4:08Speaker 1: And it's a very noble honor. Hallelujah.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Two Scriptures asks Chapter four, I mean Collosans Chapter four
- 4:18and verse seventeen. Colloss four and verse seventeen. Let me
- 4:22quote it quickly for sake of time. It says say
- 4:25onto Occupos that you take heed to the ministry that
- 4:29Tao has obtained or received in.
- 4:32Speaker 1: The Lord, that thou fulfill it.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Paul was speaking to his son in the Gospel, and
- 4:38he says to say onto Occupos that you take heed.
- 4:43The word take hit there means be attentive, be discigning,
- 4:46be careful, be intentional over the ministry that Thao has
- 4:51received in the Lord. Notice he never said the ministry
- 4:55you receive from the Lord. To receive from the Lord
- 4:59means you don't need a relationship. To receive in the
- 5:02Lord means it is a byproduct of an encounter away together.
- 5:07Speaker 1: The ministry you have received in the Lord.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Ministry is not just received from the It is received
- 5:15in the Lord, a derivative of your knowing God. You're
- 5:18loving him, You're pressing into the things of God. Let's
- 5:22consider one more scripture, Acts, Chapter twenty and verse twenty
- 5:27eight Profound Scripture. This is a call and a charge
- 5:31to shepherds, those who love Jesus. At twenty twenty eight,
- 5:36May I request that we really in concert together ready
- 5:39one to read take heed therefore onto yourselves, Aha, and
- 5:44to all the flock which the Holy goals has made
- 5:49you over seers to feed.
- 5:51Speaker 1: The Church of God.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I like also reading one more time, one to go
- 5:58take heed therefore on to yourselves and to all the
- 6:02flock over which the Holy Ghost had made you over seers,
- 6:08to feed the Church of God which he had purchased.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Allelujah.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Dotor Bley made a statement that I heard, and it
- 6:19was very profound, and I think I would like to
- 6:21start from there. It matters that we understand God's program.
- 6:28This is the first thing that I need to talk about.
- 6:30And with all due respect, I think one of the
- 6:33major issues that has affected the efficiency of priesthood within
- 6:39this nation across the African continent is that for most
- 6:43people there is no clarity and definition as to God's program.
- 6:49So if you ask a pastor what are you doing exactly?
- 6:52You can say God said, go and raise me people.
- 6:55And while that may be true, it is not concise
- 6:59enough to prove efficiency. The average pastor is at a
- 7:03loss as to God's program. Most men and women of God,
- 7:07with all due respect, cannot give you an intelligent presentation
- 7:12of God's program, which is the basis for ministry.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 7:17Speaker 2: And once that centrality of God's program does not govern
- 7:22your church activity, does not govern your sermons, does not
- 7:27govern your conferences, it is natural to veer off.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Into error and even compromise. Away together.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Now, it matters that every preacher, every man of God,
- 7:39every intercessor, every general overseer, every superintendent, you must be
- 7:44able to know this for yourself and then raise leaders
- 7:48after disunderstanding what exactly is God's program? What is God
- 7:54about across the nations? Away together now? And I want
- 7:59to say this, and and I say this with a
- 8:00burden in my heart, but with every sense of respect.
- 8:04Speaker 1: There are certain things that are not.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Left to personal revelation. One of it is God's program.
- 8:11God's program is not just revealed to an individual as
- 8:15a secret. It is a template that is available to
- 8:18everyone who.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Desires to serve him.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Away together now, Yes, because I think one of the
- 8:25challenges I will wrap up by identifying a few challenges
- 8:28with the Nigerian Church and hopefully proferring a few solutions.
- 8:32And one of it is the abuse of God said
- 8:38the abuse of.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I had the Holy Spirit.
- 8:41Speaker 2: The abuse of it has brought a lot of chaos, disorderliness.
- 8:46Just because it's a spiritual affair does not mean it
- 8:49cannot be vetted away together now, yes, so I.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Can come up with anything.
- 8:55Speaker 2: And because spirituality or the faith work is a relationship
- 8:59be between me and God.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I can say this is what God told me.
- 9:05Speaker 2: But then there are standards according to scripture. To george
- 9:09spirits and to test all spirits are we'll learning already,
- 9:13So let me not go ahead of myself. According to
- 9:16scripture and in theologically, we have come to know God's
- 9:20agenda to be called the Great Commission. And while that
- 9:24is very simple enough, most people do not have a
- 9:27very concise picture as to what the Great.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Commission is all about.
- 9:32Speaker 2: If you prove into the understanding of the average pastor,
- 9:35you will find people who tell you the Great Commission
- 9:37is about evangelism. You are right, but it is incomplete.
- 9:42Others talk about transformation. You are right, but you are incomplete.
- 9:46The Great Commission, as we know, is holistically revealed across
- 9:53three scriptures. There are three scriptures altogether that really form
- 9:57the basis for the Great com I'll just run through
- 10:01them and then I'll listen out for sake of time.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Number one is found in Mark chapter sixteen.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Please mark chapter sixteen, from verse fifteen down to twenty.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Jesus himself is speaking.
- 10:13Speaker 2: This is the first piece of what we know as
- 10:16the Greek Commission that represents God's agenda. Everyone in ministry
- 10:21should be about this.
- 10:23Speaker 1: This is the construction.
- 10:25Speaker 2: This is literally the vision of all that we do,
- 10:28being casted from scripture. And he said, unto them, go
- 10:33ye into all the world, and preach, preach the Gospel
- 10:38to every creature.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Verse sixteen.
- 10:40Speaker 2: It says he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved,
- 10:45and he that does not believe shall be damned. So
- 10:48the first part of the Great Commission has to do
- 10:50with the.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Preaching of the Gospel.
- 10:53Speaker 2: The second part of the Great Commission is found in
- 10:56Mark Matthew chapter twenty eight, from verse eight. Matthew, Chapter
- 11:01twenty eight, from verse eighteen, same Jesus speaking. This is
- 11:05Matthew's synoptic account. Jesus came and speak onto them, saying,
- 11:10all authority is given on to me in heaven and
- 11:15in the earth. And he says, go ye there for
- 11:18verse nineteen. Now of yeah, go ye therefore and teach.
- 11:25Now we see that he's going beyond preaching and teach
- 11:30all nations. Matt's account says, preach the Gospel to every creature.
- 11:37Now Matthew is saying, teach all nations, baptizing them in
- 11:42the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy goes.
- 11:45I don't want to go into the theological debate of this.
- 11:48That's not my assignment. Now are we together now Verse twenty,
- 11:53he says, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I
- 11:58have commanded you. And while you are about this business,
- 12:01know that I am with you all way onto the.
- 12:04Speaker 1: End of the world. Please say amen.
- 12:07Speaker 2: So the first aspect of the Great Commission, representing God's agenda,
- 12:11has to do with the preaching of the Gospel, and
- 12:15then the teaching discipleship. The last aspect is found in
- 12:20Acts chapter one. From verse six, Acts Chapter one, verse six,
- 12:26Jesus is having his final sessions with the disciples so
- 12:30that they would receive the Holy Ghost. And they came
- 12:33to him and said, Lord, without at this time, restore
- 12:36the kingdom of Israel.
- 12:38Speaker 1: The next verse, Jesus replies and says, it is.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Not for you to know the times and the seasons
- 12:43which the Father has put in his own power. Verse
- 12:46eight now says, but you shall receive power after that
- 12:51the Holy Ghost has come upon you, and that empowerment
- 12:55will cause.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You to be weaknesses weaknesses.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And he defines that geography of the witness first Jerusalem,
- 13:02then Judea, then Samaria. The entire goal is the Autumno's
- 13:08part of the earth.
- 13:10Speaker 1: When you combine Mark.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Sixteen, Matthew twenty eight, and Acts Chapter one, it gives
- 13:18you the whole picture of what we call the Greek Commission.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Now the challenge.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I came from an evangelical background, and so I understand
- 13:26a bit of the limitations as we have been mentored
- 13:30into understanding the Great Commission, Because on the one hand.
- 13:33Speaker 1: We have people who the entire.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Scope of understanding God's agenda is evangelism, and that is important.
- 13:41Speaker 1: But like you, will be learning.
- 13:42Speaker 2: And I think doctor Warey talked a bit about that
- 13:45by the time you bring in the habits and leave
- 13:48the habitst that way, there are consequences even though you
- 13:51gather the harvest.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Are we together now, Yes?
- 13:56Speaker 2: And then he talks about teaching, and then he talked
- 14:00about being witnesses. What is the Great Commission? I wrote
- 14:07here that the Greek Commission is a mandate given by
- 14:11Jesus to then his disciples, but today to all believers,
- 14:16a mandate given by Jesus Christ. It was then to
- 14:20his disciples, but now to all believers, to reach the
- 14:25entire globe.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Please listen, To reach the entire globe.
- 14:30Speaker 2: With the Gospel of Salvation, to bring nations to the
- 14:36knowledge of the truth, true discipleship, and to consequently bring territorial.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And societal transformation.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I will take that again that the Great Commission, as
- 14:50given by Jesus, is a mandate to reach the entire
- 14:57globe with the Gospel of sal to bring nations to
- 15:04the knowledge of the truth through discipleship, and to consequently
- 15:09bring territorial and societal transformation. Immediately, you see that there
- 15:15are three aspects to the Great Commission, and every time
- 15:20you deviate from any one of this, you will corrupt
- 15:24the program. Number one, the first aspect of the Great
- 15:28Commission is world evangelization. World evangelization, world evangelization, reaching the lost.
- 15:37The Bible says that God desires that all men be saved,
- 15:41all men be saved, all men be saved, all men
- 15:46be saved.
- 15:47Speaker 1: World evangelization.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Statistically, they're are about eight point now one billion people
- 15:55upon the earth. Eight point one billion people. I hope
- 15:58my statistics is still write eight point one billion people
- 16:02and there's just a little over two point six billion
- 16:06professing Christians. Statistically, confirmed across the earth.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Now we have a mandate to reach the entire globe.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, it should challenge us that in spite
- 16:19of the churches, the crusades, the conventions, the programs, the
- 16:23advantage of internet intellectual privileges that we have, we have
- 16:29not been able to cover even thirty percent, or twins
- 16:33or forty percent of it. And yet we believe that
- 16:37we're in the end times. We believe that we're wrapping
- 16:39up the church age.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 16:42Speaker 2: That means that we have not been doing a very
- 16:44effective job from a statistical standpoint that if we have
- 16:49about two point six billion professing Christians, this includes everything
- 16:55from backsliders to those who just identify with the faith.
- 16:58We're not talking of those who are genuinely saved, those
- 17:02who have filled a form and wrote there that I
- 17:05am a Christian even in their idol worshipers.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Are we together? Now? But look at this, Let me
- 17:13challenge you for a moment.
- 17:14Speaker 2: How many of you know that our social media applications.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I'm not sure that most.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Of the applications that we depend helplessly on are even
- 17:24more than twenty to twenty five years. Yet somebody brought
- 17:28an idea that broke the barrier of boundary. Somebody brought
- 17:33an idea that broke the barrier of religion. Somebody brought
- 17:37an idea that broke the barrier of education, and it's
- 17:41been received by.
- 17:42Speaker 1: More people upon the earth.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Within twenty years, someone certain his room and formulated an
- 17:48idea that has made the old and young, male and
- 17:52female Christians and non Christians helplessly glued to those applications.
- 17:57It means there is a formula for a more effect
- 18:00if world evangelization.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 18:03Speaker 2: If within twenty years, young people spelling their twenties came
- 18:10up with an idea, an idea without the active acknowledgment
- 18:16of the contribution of the Holy Spirit, are we together?
- 18:24They never came up to say, I open to you
- 18:27that the Holy Spirit. They never attended an importation service,
- 18:31they never received the prophetic world, and yet they came
- 18:35up with an idea that all of us prophets and apostles,
- 18:38with all the annointing, with all due respect, we are
- 18:41helplessly dependent.
- 18:42Speaker 1: On those applications.
- 18:44Speaker 2: It means there is something God can place upon our
- 18:46lives that will cause the advancement of the Gospel to
- 18:50break barriers. The level of inefficiency that we are experiencing
- 18:55in our evangelism should be a concern for anyone who
- 18:59loves Jesus.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Are we together, yes, sir? Number two.
- 19:08Speaker 2: The second aspect of the Great Commission is discipleship, transforming
- 19:14believers through discipleship. Transforming believers through discipleship, it matters what
- 19:23we do with the harvest. Jesus called us fishers of men.
- 19:28And once you fish, you don't drop the fish there
- 19:31like that. You have to work on it discipleship. I
- 19:35can tell you this, and I submit to you that
- 19:37the missing ingredient in the kind and the quality of
- 19:41believers that have come out from this nation and Africa
- 19:45is largely a product of the poor or known level
- 19:50of discipleship whatsoever. The average believer is not methodically mentored
- 19:58into understanding God and understanding.
- 20:01Speaker 1: The ways of God.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Acts Chapter twenty hundversetaty Tude says, and now, brethren, I
- 20:06commend you to God and to the world of his grace,
- 20:10which is able to build you up, number one, and
- 20:13then to give you an inheritance among them that are sanctified,
- 20:17he says, and that from a child thou hast known
- 20:20the holy scripture, which is able to make you wise
- 20:23onto salvation. The Bible says and air for as long
- 20:27as that is a child, that he differed not from
- 20:30his slave, even though he be lord of all.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Are we learning now?
- 20:36Speaker 2: Paul said, when I came to you, I couldn't speak
- 20:39of these things because you are still yet as paved
- 20:42and not spiritual. The average believer cannot defend his spiritual understanding.
- 20:49We know a little of everything, a little of prayer here,
- 20:52a little of fasting here, a little of breakthrough, a
- 20:55little of finances.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Our growth module is so.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Scattered it does not produce a people of stature. No
- 21:03body attends lecture in any class in the university and
- 21:06receives a degree. The program is constructive. That's why you
- 21:10can predict that these naive students in six years can
- 21:14be a medical doctor because of the quality of the
- 21:17content beyond even the lecturers' ability.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Away.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Together, we must obtain grace from God. I'm challenging us
- 21:28in righteousness and with all humility. Let's stop maintaining members
- 21:32Let's raise witnesses the consciousness of maintenance of membership. Ten
- 21:41years in church and they cannot defend their spiritual understanding.
- 21:49But let me bring the test to us with all
- 21:51due respect, their man of God, their Woman of God,
- 21:54their co laborer at the gospel. Let me ask you
- 21:56a question. What do you know about prayer? What do
- 22:00you know about Satan? What do you know about Jesus?
- 22:04What do you know about salvation? What do you know
- 22:07about increase? What do you know about leadership? What do
- 22:11you know about the anointing? What do you know about
- 22:13the Holy Spirit? What do you know about warfare? What
- 22:17do you know about growth? What do you know about restoration?
- 22:20What do you know about administration? What do you know
- 22:23about conflict management? These are the bodies of spiritual understanding
- 22:28that makes an individual leader. Indeed, you cannot help the
- 22:32people at the same level of understanding with them.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 22:39Speaker 2: Jesus called the people blind leading the blind. He was
- 22:43not insulting them. He was describing their spiritual states. Pick
- 22:51an average member, five of them, put them on stage
- 22:55and ask them questions. Talk to me about the gospel.
- 22:59You will be surprised. The person is the head of
- 23:01ushering and it does not know what the gospel is.
- 23:04I just know that Jesus died. Okay, how do you
- 23:07lead an unbeliever to become a child of God.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Well you confess the prayer. What does he say?
- 23:12Speaker 2: Because it is not every information about Jesus that saves.
- 23:17There is an exact body of information about Jesus that
- 23:21translates to salvation. It's a let it be known to
- 23:24you or Israel, that this same Jesus you are crucified,
- 23:27has today been exalted as Lord and Christ, and three
- 23:31thousand people came.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Are we learning?
- 23:35Speaker 2: We need to go back and probe the basis for
- 23:38our discipleship because the truth is, I hate to say
- 23:41this what many ministers are genuinely called, but they are
- 23:45ill prepared. It shows in the kinds of salmons that
- 23:49we bring. It shows in the centrality. We bring a
- 23:53lot of salmons that are clearly not doctrinal. They are
- 23:57largely opinions or just copying from one person to the order,
- 24:01or a.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Transfer from poor mentorship. Are we together?
- 24:12Speaker 2: What do you know about prayer? What do you know
- 24:15about fasting? What do you know about oil? What do
- 24:23you know about mantles? What do you know about Satan
- 24:27and demons? With all due respect, and I say this
- 24:30with every humility, sense of humility, if I call any
- 24:33man of God here in no particular order, and give
- 24:36you the mic. I said, take five minutes out of
- 24:38my time teach us. How do we take over territories?
- 24:43We all want growth, But what is the formula? Because
- 24:47Jesus said the church is built, there must be a formula.
- 24:51No architect begins to build without a formula. What is
- 24:54the master plan? We are called master builders, and God
- 24:58wants us to be wise master builders. Another question, can
- 25:05you tell me the kind of believer you are producing
- 25:08from your teaching every day? If you don't have the picture,
- 25:11something is wrong. A lecturer already has a picture of
- 25:15the kind of student he's producing from the first day
- 25:19of the lecture.
- 25:20Speaker 1: He can assure the people.
- 25:22Speaker 2: That in five years an architect is coming out of
- 25:25this lecture. Can you define the kind of believer that
- 25:29our Sunday salmons, our conferences? What kind of believer is
- 25:34in the mind of your spirit? Discipleship? The key to
- 25:42effective discipleship is to understand doctrine. The word doctrine comes
- 25:47from the Latin word doctriner. It means a body of
- 25:51truth that turns a disciple to become like his master.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Doctrine. Doctrines are not opinions.
- 26:01Speaker 2: The Bible says in Acts, chapter two and verse forty two.
- 26:04Speaker 1: It says, and they.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine, and in fellowship and
- 26:11in the breaking of bread and in prayer. That was
- 26:14the apostolic model that was given to them.
- 26:20Speaker 1: It's God helping us.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Every man of God who loves Jesus and loves his
- 26:24program must go back. And I'm saying this, I'm just
- 26:29speaking apostolically to the body of Christ.
- 26:32Speaker 1: We need to re.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Examine our spiritual understanding because that is where our salmons
- 26:38come from. There are sermons that don't profit the spiritual
- 26:42lives of the people, nor build them to become effective witnesses.
- 26:46So here is the progression. Everybody starts as a nonbeliever
- 26:52in iniquity. Did my mother conceive me? Everybody nobody inherits
- 26:57salvation from the womb away together. So the journey is
- 27:01that you stand as an unbeliever. Please watch this, and
- 27:05then by acknowledging the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ translating to
- 27:09eternal life, you get to the next level.
- 27:12Speaker 1: You are a believer. And when you become a believer,
- 27:15there are three stages. There is a babe, one.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Who is just saved and infant, but void of spiritual understanding.
- 27:24Speaker 1: The moment you get.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Transformed, God introduces you to three ministries to continue the
- 27:31journey to your maturity. Number one is the ministry of
- 27:34the Holy Spirit. Number two is the ministry of the World.
- 27:38Number three is the ministry of the teaching priest. Anybody
- 27:42who lacks and encounter with these three ministries will have
- 27:46a deformity in his spiritual growth. That is the order
- 27:50that means. The moment an individual gets saved, it's important
- 27:54he understands that there are three ministries about to be
- 27:58introduced to his life, and hims embrace all of them.
- 28:01Number one, I repeat the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Number two the Ministry of.
- 28:07Speaker 2: The World, the Logos of God, a compendium of the
- 28:10thoughts of God. And then number three the ministry of
- 28:14a teaching priest. Jeremiah three fifteen, and I will give
- 28:17you pastors or shepherds according to my heart, and they
- 28:21will feed you with knowledge, they will feed you with understanding.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Allelujah.
- 28:29Speaker 2: When this gentleman, whoever he is now as a babe,
- 28:33encounters these three fold ministries, they begin to journey him
- 28:37through the process of transformation. What is transformation the name
- 28:42given to the process that makes you become like Christ?
- 28:45In experience, it says, my little children of whom I
- 28:48travel now, until Christ be formed in you. When the
- 28:56believer becomes transformed, that is the second.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Layer of the believer.
- 29:00Speaker 2: The third layer is empowerment. A believer, I can be
- 29:04transformed and yet not empowered. Jesus himself mentored his disciples
- 29:09for three and a half years. They were transformed, but
- 29:12they were not empowered. So he said, carry you in Jerusalem.
- 29:16Your issue is not an information deficiency. You do not
- 29:20have powered to defend the things that you know. It
- 29:24is dangerous to only be transformed and not be empowered.
- 29:28You will say many things that are correct, but not
- 29:30be able to defend them.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Many things.
- 29:34Speaker 2: For instance, you will be knowledgeable enough to know that
- 29:37God heals, but you will never see healing.
- 29:39Speaker 1: You will be knowledgeable to know.
- 29:41Speaker 2: That God empowers, that God lives, but there is no performance.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Knowledge that brings transformation and then brings empowerment. Now, please
- 29:59hear me.
- 30:00Speaker 2: The moment you encounter transformation and empowerment, you stop.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Just being a believer.
- 30:06Speaker 2: You become a weakness, a witness is a believer who
- 30:12has gone through the school of transformation and gone through
- 30:15the school of empowerment. A witness is not somebody who
- 30:18starts ministry.
- 30:19Speaker 1: You can start ministry and in the spirit, you are
- 30:22not yet a witness.
- 30:23Speaker 2: The trigger for being a witness is that you would
- 30:26have submitted yourself to transformation and submitted yourself to empowerment.
- 30:31This is the model that Jesus showed us at age twelve.
- 30:35He was at the temple learning the law, even though
- 30:38he was the word himself, but that did not release
- 30:41him to start ministry. The Bible tells us that he
- 30:43met John and he told John. John said, I'm not
- 30:47even worthy to untipe the latchet.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Of your shoe.
- 30:49Speaker 2: He said, so far to be so's an ordinance that
- 30:52scripture be fulfilled. And when he baptized John, the heavens opened,
- 30:56and the Bible says the Holy goos descended upon him
- 30:59in the similitude of a dove, and there was a
- 31:01voice that said, this is my beloved son.
- 31:04Speaker 1: The question is what was he before Amen?
- 31:12Speaker 2: So the challenge most times in Nigeria is that most
- 31:17people are called, but they are not yet sent, and
- 31:21they go there is a difference between being called and sent.
- 31:27You are not called to do ministry. You are called
- 31:30to Jesus. Then you are sent to the nations. You
- 31:34are called to Jesus. Your calling is not to a church.
- 31:38Your calling is to Jesus. The Bible says he selected
- 31:41the disciples to be with him and then that you
- 31:44will send them. Something happens when you are with Jesus.
- 31:47It is from the residue of that encounter your salmons
- 31:50come out. It is from the residue of that encounter,
- 31:53your impact comes out. Just because you are genuinely called
- 31:58does not mean you are being sent. Jesus Us called
- 32:00the disciples from day one of his ministry, but he
- 32:04only sent them when he resurrected.
- 32:06Speaker 1: The trigger was the coming of the Holy Spirit.
- 32:11Speaker 2: So we have a lot of zelous people who start
- 32:13ministry with joy and passion, genuinely called. After one month,
- 32:18they've exhausted everything they know to say. And it is
- 32:21dangerous because when you have exhausted, do you know? Saturday
- 32:25nights are the most frustrating nights for most pastors because
- 32:29they have to think, what in.
- 32:31Speaker 1: The world am I going to share?
- 32:32Speaker 2: If His Righteousness have preached on it holiness, have preached
- 32:35on it, Breakthrough have preached on it. Given I've preached
- 32:38on it, deliverance are what else do I say? If
- 32:42you get into that state, it is proof that something
- 32:45has tried in your spirit.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I'm been very honest with you.
- 32:51Speaker 2: If you ever get to that state as a man
- 32:52of God, go for a retreat first. It says, that
- 32:56will show us a part of light. It is in
- 32:58your light that we see light. That you are so
- 33:03full of life. The days are not given enough because
- 33:05there is so much. Are we together now? The last
- 33:09thing I'll say about discipleship, and then I'll pass that quickly.
- 33:11We're still talking on the great commission? Do you know
- 33:15when it has to do it? Knowing the Lord, there
- 33:18is no end to your knowledge. You will keep learning
- 33:21Him even in heaven. But when it has to do
- 33:24it building victorious people. The body of truth that turns
- 33:28are not not a believer to a witness is finite.
- 33:32Speaker 1: It's not in finite.
- 33:34Speaker 2: The body of knowledge that actually makes the maturity of
- 33:37a believer is finite. Like a curricculum that turns his
- 33:41students to a graduate. You can exhaust it. The student's
- 33:45learning continues, but as far as that course of study
- 33:50is concerned, you can exhaust it. Something plus something plus
- 33:54something plus something equals a matural Christian. Building believers to
- 34:01maturity is not an infinite pursuit of knowledge. And you
- 34:05are wondering, there is an exact body of knowledge.
- 34:08Speaker 1: The Bible calls.
- 34:09Speaker 2: It marvelous light, the name given to the body that
- 34:14makes tatre out.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Of ordnary believers.
- 34:16Speaker 2: It is my considered opinion, and I hope you don't
- 34:20find offense in it. That if any member is faithful
- 34:23in any chot for two years on that structured mentorship,
- 34:28and that person cannot attain onto a state of maturity,
- 34:32is either the man of God is wasting his time
- 34:35or the individual is not serious with his growth. A
- 34:40wait together now, prays the name of the Lord. It
- 34:45doesn't take forever for the habilist in our villages to
- 34:49train another person. They bring a naive person. The body
- 34:53of knowledge is exact. They will tell you this young
- 34:56boy will be a habi list in three years, and
- 34:59you will work the boy, going every day and watching
- 35:03and watching, and after three years they will now crown him.
- 35:07The one who come, who who brings meyhem? But how
- 35:09come with all due respect. We have people who are
- 35:12being saved before some children were born, and those children
- 35:18to their pastors, and the people are not transformed. Nothing
- 35:21about their communication shows maturity. We need to go back
- 35:28to our pul pits and examine the content. The content
- 35:32is what produces victory or defeat.
- 35:35Speaker 1: It matters what the people hear.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Thankfully, as a continent and as a nation, we have
- 35:40people who are loyal and passionate to hear. They are
- 35:44so passionate they don't hear what they hear. They trust
- 35:47you enough to hear, and if what you are communicating
- 35:50is error, they're still grateful.
- 35:55Speaker 1: One thing the Bible tells us about.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Being a teacher is that you will be judged for
- 36:00having access to the ears and the minds of people.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Is God's speaking to us.
- 36:04Speaker 2: So the Great Commission has number one world evangelization, Number
- 36:08two discipleship. World evangelization is God's program for the world
- 36:14of sinners. God has a program for the world of sinners.
- 36:19It is called world evangelization. God has a program for
- 36:23the saints. It is called discipleship. Attaining maturity through discipleship.
- 36:28And then the third aspect I will give you quickly
- 36:31is called territorial transformation Matthew Chapter five, from verse thirteen
- 36:39to sixteen. Jesus is teaching now, and he begins by saying,
- 36:42you are the salt of the earth. He says, but
- 36:45if the salt has lost this sultiness, well it's seven,
- 36:47It says, where it shall it be salted? It is
- 36:50good for nothing except to be thrown down and trampled
- 36:53a foot of men. Then it says, in verse fourteen,
- 36:56you are the light of the world.
- 36:58Speaker 1: He calls us a.
- 37:00Speaker 2: City that is set on a hill which.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Cannot be hidden.
- 37:03Speaker 2: It says, neither do men light a candle and put
- 37:06it under a bushel, but they put it on a candlestick,
- 37:11and it gives light to everyone in the room. Verse
- 37:13sixteen now says, let your light. The word let means permit,
- 37:18do not restrain it. Let your light so shine before
- 37:23men that they may see. God wants men to see
- 37:27that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father.
- 37:32That means the way God gets glory is when the
- 37:35sun's manifest good walks. John chapter fifteen and verse eight.
- 37:40Here in is our Father glorified when you bear much fruit,
- 37:44So shall you be my disciples.
- 37:46Speaker 1: John fifteen sixteen.
- 37:47Speaker 2: You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you
- 37:50and ordained you that you should go and bear much fruit,
- 37:55and that your fruit.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Should remain territorial transformation.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I was very touch as we heard the chairman bringing
- 38:04a lot of societal projects. Can I tell you results
- 38:08are evangelists results? There are Salmon's only results can preach
- 38:16and there is an audience that was designed to hear
- 38:19that salmon. If all we keep doing in church is
- 38:23falling on that the anointing and rolling, let me assure you, society,
- 38:27we need to bring data driven statistics that shows that
- 38:32the church is relevant. And the way you do that
- 38:34is by becoming light and salt. I don't mean to
- 38:43insult you, but there are many beer parlors near the
- 38:45churches and they're join in the praise and worship while
- 38:47the prison worship is going on. Their rejoicing at this drama.
- 38:51It looks like they've changed a new drama. No transformation
- 38:54within the territory, No transformation whatsoever.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Are we together.
- 39:03Speaker 2: And Roberts lean on the back of the church while
- 39:06someone's are going waiting for sagis to be over, so
- 39:09they will steal no transformation. I don't want to become
- 39:15a part of any movement that does not speak to
- 39:17the development of society. We must be very apostolic in
- 39:22our approach. We must sell God in a way that
- 39:24society will.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Be ready to embrace him.
- 39:27Speaker 2: It is the reason why Christianity in many developed nations
- 39:30is being considered as a nuisance because they do not
- 39:34have data driven proof of relevance of church in nation building.
- 39:40It's good to sing, it's good to shout, it's good
- 39:42to fall and stand, but receive the wisdom that came
- 39:45in the place of prayer and use it to develop
- 39:48the society charitable organizations. By do you know, I always
- 39:55why Jesus third five thousand, Now I go. The feeding
- 39:59of the five time thousand was number one to prove
- 40:02that he loved them, but number two as a message
- 40:04to Roman government, we are not irrelevant and we are.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Not in nuisance.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Because by the time you camp five thousand people for
- 40:15three days and you don't feed them, you have given
- 40:19the government a right to say you want to kill
- 40:21these people. You are cult and they are right. Jesus said,
- 40:25don't let them go this way. There's already enmity against
- 40:28this program. Feed them let them know that there is
- 40:31an aspect of God's love that speaks to nation building.
- 40:35Do you know women can sing a lot of praises.
- 40:38I'm sure a lot of women sand from the mountain.
- 40:41Where is Caesar? Where is Herald? Come and see what
- 40:43Jesus is doing. You guys have been scribes and pharisees
- 40:47for years. You never fed us. Can I tell you
- 40:52the truth? Own believers can also be used to evangelies.
- 40:58They will go to a senator and said, this bohole
- 41:02came from the church, my daughter.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Since today court see the church.
- 41:09Speaker 2: This marriage that would have scattered was brought back court
- 41:12see the church. I an, I don't worship hour, but
- 41:16if you thought that, you see that now listen.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Let me tell you this.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Part of the principles of dominion is that you must
- 41:26be able to translate the God life to affect all
- 41:29an sundry, because He sends rain both on the good.
- 41:34God has a program for society.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 41:38Speaker 2: Every man of God who has attained a commendable size
- 41:41in ministry, you owe there is a corporate social responsibility.
- 41:46You don't have to be an oil and gas company.
- 41:49Once you are a man of God who intends to last.
- 41:52There must be an expression. I used to be in
- 41:58Zaria before I moved to Abuja and up until now.
- 42:02Every time I visit our expression there, once they know
- 42:05I'm around, you will find it's literally like a crusade
- 42:09without calling anybody. You see one thing I've learned with Muslims.
- 42:14If it's welfare, they will stop you from coming. They
- 42:18can stop crusades. But once you say food medicals with
- 42:22Jesus Joy, even if it's inside the baptistry, they will enter.
- 42:26Then weight most of us have been wasting an opportunity
- 42:30for a harvest because we are unconcerned about the things
- 42:35that happen in society. That theology is not accurate. We
- 42:40are not of the world, I agree, but we are
- 42:43in the world. We cannot be detached from the activities
- 42:48that happen within our space. I'm praying in the name
- 42:51of Jesus Christ, that for a man of God, for
- 42:54a woman of God, for a.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Pastor who has come here.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Whilst you are hearing me, the Holy Spirit will tell
- 42:59you this is the missing link.
- 43:01Speaker 1: This is why your church has been in a place.
- 43:03Speaker 2: For ten years and the community you have never seen.
- 43:06The chief of that community. You have never greeted the
- 43:09traditional head within that community. He does know you. Yet
- 43:14you have so much property there. The young boys in
- 43:16that community cannot defend the land. They don't know the order.
- 43:20They have never participated in anything kingdom.
- 43:23Speaker 1: You've never called them for anything. You will know the.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Relevance of community when there is a crisis. Well, with
- 43:33all you respect, most of you here in the worst
- 43:35you've not really seen a serious crisis, you see, But
- 43:39when you are in a place where at any point
- 43:41they can bound things here and.
- 43:43Speaker 1: There there are people who say, I am.
- 43:45Speaker 2: A Muslim, bought my nose this, This was the person
- 43:48feeding our wives, our husbands.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Church is squire. This is a bastard's conference zone.
- 44:00Speaker 2: I want to believe the Holy Spirit is speaking to
- 44:02our hearts.
- 44:05Speaker 1: I love us all.
- 44:06Speaker 2: It's because that's the way we translated to.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Improve our people. Are we together?
- 44:13Speaker 2: So the Great Commission I said three things. This is
- 44:16the first thing. Now to understand God's program. That God's program.
- 44:21Speaker 1: If it must be done well, it must.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Capture within our experience and our mission statements and our
- 44:28church activities.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Evangelism.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Let me submit to you, with all due respect, there
- 44:33are churches that cannot remember the last time they made
- 44:36an altar call.
- 44:38Speaker 1: And I don't mean to insult us. It is a
- 44:41terrible thing.
- 44:41Speaker 2: You cannot finish preaching and consistently and just say well,
- 44:46if the salmon taughts you, you are always free to
- 44:48give you a life.
- 44:49Speaker 1: To Jesus. No, that's not the model that was handed over.
- 44:53Speaker 2: He desires that all men be saved and to come onto.
- 44:58Speaker 1: The knowledge of the truth.
- 45:00Speaker 2: World evangelization, God's program for the unbelieving world, discipleship that
- 45:06leads to transformation by the sound communication of doctrine, God's
- 45:11program for helping the Saints attain maturity, and then societal
- 45:15or territorial transformation, God's program for society. You believe that,
- 45:20say amen, I'm not going to talk much about discipleship.
- 45:24This was the second aspect that I wanted to talk quickly,
- 45:28building men.
- 45:30Speaker 1: The Bible says that he led.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Captivity captive, and he gave gifts onto men, and that
- 45:36he gave those gifts some apostles, some prophets, some pastors, evangelist,
- 45:43some pastors, some teachers, and the Bible says he gave
- 45:46that for the maturing perfecting of the Saints, that the
- 45:52saints will do the work of the ministry. Please look
- 45:54at me, every man and woman of God. Here I
- 45:58want you to know that the business of ministry is
- 46:01the business of building men. The business of ministry beyond
- 46:06physical buildings, beyond registering ministries and organizations in corporate Affairs Commission.
- 46:14The ministry that we are called into is the ministry
- 46:19of building men. If you are not building men, if
- 46:25you build structures more than you build men, you are failing.
- 46:31If you build structures more than you build men, you
- 46:35are failing. No matter the ministry expansion, no matter the
- 46:42network of churches globally, the real index is the kind
- 46:47and the quality of men that you are building.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Jesus said, I will build my church. He was speaking
- 46:54of these living stones men.
- 46:58Speaker 2: And there is a formula for building men. And praying
- 47:00again that God will grant us intelligence to come up
- 47:04with programs that build men. And you know that building
- 47:08men is across various there are. The way you build
- 47:13members is different from the way you build leaders.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Are we together now? Yes?
- 47:19Speaker 2: The Bible says strong meat belongs to them who, by
- 47:22reason of youse have learned to exercise their senses onto godliness.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Let me tell you the truth. There are certain.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Things you should not teach new believers. You will destroy them.
- 47:33An example, prosperity. The first salmon a young believer should
- 47:37hear is not prosperity. You teach a young believer a
- 47:40somemone on prosperity, you have destroyed him. He has not
- 47:43learned death to the flesh. He's not learned character. He's
- 47:46not learned how to live it. Surrender that life, and
- 47:49now you open him up to you have only multiplied
- 47:53loss upon that person. You will destroy that believer. It
- 47:56is line upon line, precept upon precept. Here to get
- 48:00a little there must be a formula. We must go
- 48:03back and remodel our formula for building believers. There are
- 48:08things a believer most year before he hears about money.
- 48:11There are things a believer most year before.
- 48:14Speaker 1: He hears about influence.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Every topic is not relevant at every level. Line upon line,
- 48:21Jesus being the chief corner stone, show us the ancihanpa.
- 48:29Will you lead us along eternal highway?
- 48:34Speaker 1: We want to fall all.
- 48:35Speaker 4: The way self cheesus, we want to and your ass
- 48:43show us the shaper. Will you lead us along it?
- 48:50Turn on highway? We want to fall all the food.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Steps of cheesus. We want to and your Let me
- 49:01tell you something God revealed to me.
- 49:04Speaker 2: No amount of publicity will bring people more than God
- 49:09himself recommending them to wear house.
- 49:12Speaker 1: He knows they will be trained.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Thank God for billboards, Thank God for Facebook. But there
- 49:20is a mystery that no technology can reproduce as far
- 49:25as bringing men and the Lord added daily daily. If
- 49:32you are not willing to save sein us, it is
- 49:34a useless prayer.
- 49:36Speaker 1: To pray for increase to your church. I'm sorry, but
- 49:39it's the truth.
- 49:40Speaker 2: If you are not willing to pay the price, let
- 49:44me tell you the truth.
- 49:45Speaker 1: By God's grace.
- 49:46Speaker 2: I respect everyone here, but I'm not sure there's anyone
- 49:49here who is up to hundred years.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Men of God, this call is a call to sacrifice.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Let's not allow this geomantality deceivers. Thank God for honor,
- 50:01but please let's drop it aside and serve God's people sincerely.
- 50:06A man of God who is a lazy person should
- 50:08retire from ministry because ministry is about diligence.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Most people desire increase.
- 50:17Speaker 2: They admire what God is doing in the life of
- 50:20great ministries, but they do not have an understanding of
- 50:23the kind of labor that goes in to be trusted
- 50:26with men. Allelujah, it's a sacrifice. You will never be
- 50:33an effective priest at your convenience. No, we were not
- 50:41trained that way. Those who train those labored onto death.
- 50:46We saw from them diligence. And I speak with all
- 50:50due respect to those of my generation here. No, the
- 50:54decade away that geo office mentality and get to work.
- 50:58There are souls to say, if you don't have this
- 51:00salmon to preach, go and sit in your study room
- 51:03and be designing a Bible study manual to mentor your people.
- 51:08You can't say there is nothing to do. Honestly, anyone
- 51:11in ministry who only does Sunday to Sunday is a
- 51:14lazy person. Take that from me. There has to be
- 51:18someone to be following up during the week. You know
- 51:21how long it takes to prepare a salmon that is
- 51:24balanced and theologically sound, not to scraggle something while they're
- 51:28taking offering. And then you come up and say, don't worry,
- 51:31we need to sit down, don't teach people's opinions, get
- 51:35the world study to show yourself approved onto God. A
- 51:40workman that needed not to be a shame. There is
- 51:43a relationship between shame and laziness.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Allelujah. Let's encourage our worshipers.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Don't write songs that are meaningless, songs that just came
- 51:57as a result of copying all kinds of things. No,
- 52:01the intelligence that is in your song is where the
- 52:05edification comes from. It's good to sing. Well, what is
- 52:10the song saying? Is it helping someone know God? Are
- 52:14we together? Let's minimize some of these songs that matchet
- 52:17ignorance prays the name of the Lord. Please someone who
- 52:28has faith self time in Jesus name. I receive grace
- 52:33to feed God's people. I receive grace to feed God's people.
- 52:39You're a man of God. Please go back, woman and
- 52:41sit down. I don't condemn you. There are concordances, there
- 52:45are lexicons to buy. Are we together? There are manuals
- 52:49people have already labeled for you. For God's sake, Let's
- 52:52sit down and get truth and feed God's people. It
- 52:56is at this point that with all due respect, I
- 52:59rest in fact the Catholics and the Anglicans, the pecostus
- 53:04thank God. I mean, with thank God for the ministry
- 53:06of the Holy Spirit. But you see, I was raised
- 53:10by the Anglican and there was no room for laziness
- 53:15the structure.
- 53:16Speaker 1: If anyone here has passed through.
- 53:17Speaker 2: The Anglican communion, No, you don't stand and preach opinions.
- 53:22The topic is already known, so you wouldn't come and
- 53:24preach none says.
- 53:26Speaker 1: With sufficient versus well researched.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Yes, sir, you would not even serve if you could
- 53:36not recite your apostle's creed.
- 53:40Speaker 1: See that.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Let's it be the name of the Lord. So we
- 53:51must obtain grace to build God's people. Your sermons should
- 53:57come out of your desire to see God's people, but
- 54:01your sermons will be an overflow of your transformation. You
- 54:05cannot feed God's people beyond your level of spiritual transformation.
- 54:09Let me repeat that again, you cannot feed God's people
- 54:13beyond your level of spiritual transformation. And let me make
- 54:16an honest admission to you. There are certain things that
- 54:19your people need that you don't have the grace to
- 54:22give them. You must have the honest, shamemedness to outsource
- 54:25the graces that can help them, graces that are vettered
- 54:29across the lines of godliness and character.
- 54:32Speaker 1: And don't let your people die because of ego.
- 54:36Speaker 2: If you don't have the grace there are people within
- 54:38the body. It's God helping us. I have to give
- 54:44us the last area and then we'll stop. Less it
- 54:50be the name of the Lord. My final thoughts with
- 54:58us as a contribute to this conference is I want
- 55:03to identify a few issues within the Body of Christ
- 55:07that I believe as a recommendation that God is going
- 55:10to help us. Part of my call and my mandate
- 55:14is to help bring love, unity.
- 55:16Speaker 1: And balance within the body.
- 55:19Speaker 2: You'll never find me insulting people, tearing down people tearing
- 55:26down another person's ministry, that it has never worked, it
- 55:31won't work, allelujah. But the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 55:39from his inception has never been without challenges.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Please, I wanted to listen carefully.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Having challenges across the body is not necessarily a proof
- 55:48of backsliding. In most cases, it's not even a demonic issue.
- 55:52It's just the reality that comes with the human nature.
- 55:55And if you understand leadership, you know that conflict and
- 55:59everything around it is part of growth.
- 56:03Speaker 1: When the Church began to grow, there were issues. Is
- 56:06that not so? In your Bible? There were issues.
- 56:08Speaker 2: You find that in Act chapter six The first issue
- 56:11we see that the church had to deal with was
- 56:14welfare issue. Some people felt like they were being neglected
- 56:17in the daily sharing and the report.
- 56:20Speaker 1: It first started as a rumor, and.
- 56:22Speaker 2: Then it got to the apostles, and the apostle said, no,
- 56:24we have a mandate and we have a jurisdiction to
- 56:27stay in. And this is a lesson for someone. The
- 56:30more growth comes, the easier for you to move away
- 56:34from the ministry and get into administrative duties. And administrative
- 56:39duties are wonderful, but if you do not outsource systems
- 56:42that keep you focused, you will stop being a man
- 56:45of God and become an excellent administrator. There are people
- 56:52the worst thing that happened to you is that you
- 56:54grew in ministry that in itself seemed like an attack,
- 57:00because you left the ministry of the world and prayer
- 57:03and got to serving tables. Tables should be served, but
- 57:07he said, no, select some among yourself, but we will
- 57:10give ourselves continually.
- 57:12Speaker 1: As chapter six hu vers four to prayer and the
- 57:15ministry of the world.
- 57:17Speaker 2: And how many of you know that among those who
- 57:19were selected to save tables, other people rose up from there,
- 57:24including the person that the Bible identifies as an evangelist.
- 57:28They were ordained to serve tables, but eventually at least
- 57:32two of them became mighty men.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Philip was one of them, Stephen was another. Hallelujah.
- 57:41Speaker 2: But let's talk about two things or three things as
- 57:44I wrap up. There are many challenges in the Body
- 57:48of Christ, and there's almost no end if we have
- 57:51to dissect them one by one, because most of those
- 57:54challenges are subjective. But I will talk about the issues
- 57:57that concern everybody.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Number one and.
- 58:02Speaker 2: The peer fan Chairman Legos Chapter graciously mentioned one of them.
- 58:06I think that as the Body of Christ, we must
- 58:11be able to come up with a statement of faith.
- 58:15At what point are you called a Christian? What are
- 58:20the parameters that define in Nigerian Christian If we do
- 58:26not answer this question with all due respect in the
- 58:31next five ten years, they will ship in a lot
- 58:34of things into this nation that will pollute the authenticity
- 58:38of the faith life. Once there is no definition, anything
- 58:44is permissive. There must be a statement of faith. What
- 58:51do I have to believe to be a Christian? I
- 58:57feel very sad and I think the peer friend you
- 59:04know Shaman also mentioned this about Dr Ottterbill you know, bringing.
- 59:09Speaker 1: That as an observation.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Because the faith work is largely personal, and because of
- 59:17the person of the Holy Spirit and the unique expression
- 59:21of the way he trains us, we will have different
- 59:24templates as far as I work with God's concern, and.
- 59:27Speaker 1: That is all right.
- 59:29Speaker 2: But the danger there is that if it is not
- 59:32balanced by the jurisdiction of the world, we can delve
- 59:35into anything in the name of the spirit leads. So
- 59:41I can walk down right now and slap pastor God
- 59:44Man and say, it was an instruction the Holy Ghost
- 59:47gave me. Are we together? I'm not being sarcastic now.
- 59:50It is difficult to say I'm wrong, because one, you
- 59:53are not the Holy Ghost too, you are not me,
- 59:56and it's a spiritual thing. But later, after five years,
- 1:00:00so I will find out it was a demand that
- 1:00:01spoke to me and quietly repent. But while I'm doing that,
- 1:00:06I have mentored others across that error, so that slapping
- 1:00:11will now become a doctrine.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Are we learning now?
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: One of the ways error spreads is because it is spiritualized.
- 1:00:22Once error is spiritualized, it is difficult to tame it
- 1:00:26because the basis for taming it will look like being.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: You are being a What's the world?
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: Now?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Are we together? Now?
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: No matter your work with God, the template on how
- 1:00:40the spirit of God works with people will always be
- 1:00:43consistent with the character of Scripture. We are not the
- 1:00:47first to receive all kinds of instructions, and I tell
- 1:00:50you God can give sometimes very challenging instructions.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Are we together now? As a man of God?
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: God has given me instruction that cannot be a doctrine.
- 1:01:02Now there are three layers of learning spiritually. Number one
- 1:01:06is called a historic learning historic a geological learning. The
- 1:01:12second kind of learning is called a doctrinal learning. The
- 1:01:16third kind is called personalized dealings. Well, because of your
- 1:01:20work with God and the unique expression of God's grace,
- 1:01:24he will lead you to a pathway that is only
- 1:01:26for you. You are never supposed to replicate that unique dealing.
- 1:01:31If not you to destroy another believer. I give you
- 1:01:35an instance. God may check my heart and say to
- 1:01:40it that if it gives me many houses and many cars,
- 1:01:43because of my level of alignmental submission, it may lead
- 1:01:47me into partition. And because of that, in order to
- 1:01:51manage that tendency of the flesh in me, he will
- 1:01:53give me a unique instruction, never have more than three houses,
- 1:01:58never have more than three cars. And once I work
- 1:02:01in keeping with that instruction, I will flourish in ministry.
- 1:02:04So when you do an interview for me and say
- 1:02:07what is the secret of your success, I will tell
- 1:02:10you I do not have more.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Than three class and three houses.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: If you now men taught that personalized dealing, maybe you
- 1:02:17aressiment requires ten houses.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: You are in trouble already. Are we together now?
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Because our personalized dealings with God produced results in our lives,
- 1:02:29chances are excellent that as we men taught those who
- 1:02:32are around us, we also bring our unique dealings and
- 1:02:36turn it into a doctrine because of the result that
- 1:02:39it produced.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: This is one of the causes of error in the body.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: So God can tell someone slab the person on the
- 1:02:46wheelchair three times a defined instruction one two three, and
- 1:02:52the person Jompson, the young man who watch you now,
- 1:02:56will organize a cusaide and bring a son of a
- 1:03:01police officer who is on a wheelchair and slap him
- 1:03:05three times. The guy will not get up, and the
- 1:03:07boy will go to jail. And we blame the Holy ghost.
- 1:03:12It is not the Holy Spirit. Is that we do
- 1:03:14not know the difference between God's unique dealing to you
- 1:03:18and what is doctrine. Now allelujah, Never build ministry out
- 1:03:32of personal visionary experiences, no matter how spectacular, you will
- 1:03:37be destroying the ministry.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: We're rapping up. Are we together? Now?
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: I've heard by the messes of God, I am one
- 1:03:44who has been graced to live in the reality of
- 1:03:46angelic encounters, encounters of the Holy Spirit. There are encounters
- 1:03:51that if I bring us my personal experience, it would
- 1:03:54destroy many people in the body of Christ. Not because
- 1:03:57it is erroneous, but the nature, the instructions, the things
- 1:04:01that God gave, the kinds of instructions that came from
- 1:04:05that encounter. It was from my personal edification, and it
- 1:04:09was not because it worked for me does not mean
- 1:04:12I automatically turn it into a doctrine. And sometimes the
- 1:04:17error comes. Sincerely, it's just people telling you their story
- 1:04:20how it worked for them. Not every story is a testimony.
- 1:04:24There are some you keep to yourself.
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: We have to pray your grace, your grace. Have nothing
- 1:04:41we felt you.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: Your grace. Your grace shines on me. It's your grace,
- 1:04:59your grace.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: I'm nothing without you.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Pray you Allelujah. I may not have the time to
- 1:05:17discuss it, but please write it down.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Number one, you need a statement of faith that guides
- 1:05:23your life.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: How far is far in your work with God?
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: How far is far as far as the church you
- 1:05:32are leading is concern. All things are lawful, but not
- 1:05:36all things are expedient by the message of God. I
- 1:05:40have the privilege of preaching across several places, several denominations,
- 1:05:45and as a principle, I learn to adapt to whatever
- 1:05:49is the modus of randy of any church that I find.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: But I have my personal convictions.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: I don't preach everywhere because I agree with everything there.
- 1:05:57I have my reservations. However, it is not enough reason
- 1:06:01for differences. But as far as mentoring and building those
- 1:06:05under your care concern, you have to define what being
- 1:06:09a spiritual person is. Define the parameters for true spirituality.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Number two. The second challenge that I wish I.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Had the time to talk about was the fact that
- 1:06:24many people are in ministry who have been wounded and
- 1:06:28did not stay to be healed, and they got into ministry.
- 1:06:32As simple as this sounds, it is dangerous to carry
- 1:06:37the mantle.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Of priesthood when you are not healed.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: A scar is proved that a wound was once there
- 1:06:44but is now healed. And if that scar is not
- 1:06:47If that wound is not healed, God does not send
- 1:06:50you most of the envying, the jealousy, the bad, biting,
- 1:06:57and lots of things that we see happening.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Across the body of Christ. The root of it.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Is that people have pains that came from their background
- 1:07:07that they did not stay with the spirit to be
- 1:07:10healed from. Then their spirituallizes that pain. Are we together
- 1:07:14now growing up in life and ministry, I really did
- 1:07:20not know that emotional wounds were real.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I just focused on physical wounds.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: But now as God has helped me to grow, I
- 1:07:29have seen that emotional.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Wounds can be like diabetes. It can stay there for years.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: There are people carrying all kinds of pain, their angers.
- 1:07:42What send them to go and pray? And first, the
- 1:07:45search for the annoying was not to bless people. It
- 1:07:47was from a standpoint of competition. Let me tell you this,
- 1:07:52only wounded people wound orders. When you are healed, you
- 1:07:57don't wound orders when you rejoice over the pain of
- 1:08:01another man and not that person's ministry.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: When you are happy, when you see people going down.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: No matter how you spiritualize it, it is because there
- 1:08:10is an injury. Psychologists are wise enough, and most of
- 1:08:14us have churches full of intelligent people. They can look
- 1:08:18at you as a pastor and know that this salmon
- 1:08:21is not the Holy Spirit. This salmon came from your background.
- 1:08:24It came from your pain. You are trying to manage
- 1:08:27your frustrations. Listen, listen, listen. I really I have to
- 1:08:38honor the time and stop, and then all of you
- 1:08:40are here. But I want you to please get this.
- 1:08:44You need to go and stay with the Holy Spirit
- 1:08:47and say, heal me. Oh God, I don't know what injury. Joseph.
- 1:08:53Your brothers threw you in the pitch. You are not
- 1:08:55even aware that you are wounded already. Make sure you
- 1:08:58are healed before you see them. It took a healed
- 1:09:01Joseph to ignore the wickedness.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Of his brothers.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: It took a healed Joseph to not punish fortify. If
- 1:09:09I am Joseph, as I'm coming out as a prime minister,
- 1:09:12who is the first person you call? But if I
- 1:09:17where are you? You are the wife? Get back into
- 1:09:20that prison. Let me tell you this. Let me tell
- 1:09:25you this. Most of us came from Polygamo's families. You
- 1:09:29did not realize the effect. Most of us probably did
- 1:09:32not go to school early. Most of our parents made
- 1:09:36nasty comments, and you did not know that he was
- 1:09:39wound upon wound.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: They called you a failure.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: They said you will never amount to anything. Just because
- 1:09:45you are old doesn't mean you are healed. You can
- 1:09:49be old in age still carrying the wound of childhood.
- 1:09:53So you don't know why you are an angry man
- 1:09:55of God. The moment someone says this your shoe is
- 1:09:58he original or fake? That can become a.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Two year war.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: He was just throwing a joke, but the joke taughts
- 1:10:05an injury. Listen carefully, we're rappin of what you need
- 1:10:11to hear this. If we want to see unity, there
- 1:10:15is a revelation that brings unity.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Are we together healed?
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: There are preachers that are not healed. That is the
- 1:10:25reason why there is fight for membership. There are preachers
- 1:10:28that are not healed. Is the reason why we disor
- 1:10:31no elderly people. Are we together now?
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: Most of the things we do, from a fake life,
- 1:10:40to selling lives on the internet, to trying to use
- 1:10:44dressing to show that fate is working. All of those
- 1:10:47things are proof of a wound that. I'm telling you this.
- 1:10:51When a young man gets into ministry and in one
- 1:10:54year his dream is just to buy a private jet
- 1:10:57have the largest charge, he may not be wrong, but
- 1:11:00a young man has been wounded. He does not even
- 1:11:02know what is motivating. This is not always demons. Demons
- 1:11:09are surprised themselves because what they did and what they
- 1:11:13did not do.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: We'reout blaming them. We're going to pray. You've been patient. Listen.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Most of you ask your congregations for extra time. Let
- 1:11:31me ask you for extra time. Now we're going to pray.
- 1:11:44Listen to me, please hear me. What do you think
- 1:11:48will become of a general overseer's wife who was wounded
- 1:11:53by her stepmother, call the bad lady, prostitute, called whatever.
- 1:11:59Now she's married, man of God, she's in a church.
- 1:12:02Most likely she will look at every other woman's dressing.
- 1:12:06She's not a bad woman, She's only a wounded woman.
- 1:12:09Who is this woman always dressing? Rich Marcraft for me,
- 1:12:12all these useless wars in church.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: I am telling you the chure is not just reconciliation.
- 1:12:19The cure is healing.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: Because I have a mindset that if I celebrate first
- 1:12:29the god Man, and I celebrate the work he is doing.
- 1:12:32What if I lose my relevance that orientation came as
- 1:12:36a result of a wound. Aircrafts don't crash in the
- 1:12:42air because there is space for every aircraft, no matter
- 1:12:45how big it is. Some of you right here, you.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Are in this place. I know we are past us.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: Let God use me for one minute to heal someone
- 1:12:54before we wrap up.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: There are some of you who cannot see yourself.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: You are here now, but you cannot look eyeborn to
- 1:13:01eyeborn because you are angry. And most of those who
- 1:13:04have that anger don't have growth.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: So what you're fighting about is not it Truly, it's unnecessary.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: You are looking for something to blame, and if there's
- 1:13:14nobody else to blame, your wife becomes a victim.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Listen to me, Men of God.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: We have lost valuable people in our churches because we've
- 1:13:31not been able.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: To tame our anger, tame our jealousy.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Some of you are jealous even with your children and
- 1:13:38your sons and daughters, till who you raise you still
- 1:13:40fights them. It's not because you want them to fail.
- 1:13:44It's because you want to succeed alone, and that succeeding
- 1:13:49alone came because you did not take first position. You
- 1:13:52watch awards given to people, and there is still the
- 1:13:55craven of a primary school child crying within an individual
- 1:14:00soil you wanting to be celebrated alone.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Let me teach you something.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: Let's let's do a little consultant and say this is
- 1:14:05not a man of God.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Now. The highest psychological.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Need of any man, including you looking at me, is
- 1:14:12the need to feel loved, the need to feel valued,
- 1:14:16and the need to feel appreciated. Say aftime, he loved,
- 1:14:21say valued, Say appreciated one more time, say loved, valued, appreciated. Anybody,
- 1:14:29including your spouse, who valulates that law becomes your enemy.
- 1:14:34I'll tell you where your words are coming from, because
- 1:14:36someone bruised your ego knowingly or knowingly. You stepped into
- 1:14:41a meeting and the person tree realized your apostleship, and
- 1:14:45you walked out of that meeting matching his face, and he.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Became your enemy forever. Tonight be healed.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Healed.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: You have been wounding your congregations.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: You tell tell them you are shouting at them because
- 1:15:02they went left.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: They moved right, you still shouted.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: It's not the direction, it's you, PF and I'm sorry,
- 1:15:14or you invited me.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry sorry. Now please, everybody's done.
- 1:15:23Everybody's done. I'm going to give you the next five minutes.
- 1:15:28I like you to walk to everybody you can find
- 1:15:31and just tell them I bless you and I honor you.
- 1:15:34Go ahead, God bless you. Hold the person, whether you
- 1:15:39know the person or not. I bless you, and I
- 1:15:43honor you. We fought during the crusade, but we're still Christians.
- 1:15:50God bless you. God bless you. God bless you, God
- 1:15:55bless you. We are neighbors, but I've never entered your
- 1:16:00chance to see what God is doing.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Please appreciate someone. I honor you.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: You may have party members, but I appreciate you. You
- 1:16:11may have two members, but I appreciate you. Take a minute.
- 1:16:19You'll soon return to your seat. Make sure you celebrate them.
- 1:16:23I don't care how many members you have. I know
- 1:16:26you are still learning.
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: We may not be at the same level of grace,
- 1:16:30but just for you to know that we are stronger together,
- 1:16:34stronger together, stronger together, strong go together.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: You are the one that we prey. You are the
- 1:16:52word we so listen.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Please return back to your seats rejoicing. We're out of time.
- 1:17:15Return back to your seats. We're about to pray. Return
- 1:17:19back to your seat. I know you are a prophet.
- 1:17:22I respect you as a prophet. I know you are
- 1:17:25an apostle. I respect you as an apostle. I don't
- 1:17:29downplay your stay.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Listen. Let me tell you this.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: When you derive joy in demeaning the relevance of another
- 1:17:39man of God, it does not make you great. Fathers. Please,
- 1:17:43we're rapping up. We're rapping up. Let me have your attention. Please,
- 1:17:46God wants to tell us something serious. Now listen, please, fathers,
- 1:17:52you are greatly honored, but respect the songs. They have
- 1:17:56an advantage of time and can learn experience from you.
- 1:18:02Every father has shown us what he can become, but
- 1:18:05we do not yet know what the sons will become. Eli,
- 1:18:13you play the role in the life of sam Well,
- 1:18:16but don't demean that young boy. That is the prophet
- 1:18:20who will ordain soul. That is the prophet who will
- 1:18:23ordain David Sons. Respect fathers.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what they preach.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: It doesn't matter how many times you travel to the
- 1:18:32spirit and come back, you are still a son. If
- 1:18:35a baby takes ten teens of breast milk, the baby
- 1:18:40does not become an adult. The baby becomes a healthy baby. Allelujah.
- 1:18:51Let me speak especially to younger people in ministry. Don't
- 1:18:54follow this blind and foolish campaign of pointing fingers against fathers.
- 1:19:00Tell you, the more I grow in ministry, the more
- 1:19:03I'm silent. When you see father's quiet. Find out why
- 1:19:09young people have seen without wisdom. When a father says
- 1:19:16and keeps quiet, keep quiet as a young man to
- 1:19:19you'll be wiser. I way together, contemporaries, let's respect ourselves.
- 1:19:28Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: If you find somebody's ministry. People are not idiots. They're
- 1:19:34know truth when they see it. And the moment you
- 1:19:37begin to find people, you'll make you show your insecurity.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: It comes on display.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Because those who are helped by God walk ever conscious
- 1:19:47of His messy over their lives.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: So I will end my session by saying this.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: Apostle John, speaking by the spirit, he wrote to three
- 1:19:57groups of people.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: I write to you fathers, I write to you young men.
- 1:20:04I write to you children. No matter the category of
- 1:20:08Asian experience in ministry. There is something written to you,
- 1:20:11a letter from God.
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: What God is telling the fathers is not what he's
- 1:20:16telling the young men. No, the fathers have wisdom and experience.
- 1:20:20The young men have strength, The children have maniability of heart.
- 1:20:25You can make them become anything.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Hold hands with someone about the rabble. Lord, makers, instruments
- 1:20:43are your peace where there is hate trend, let your
- 1:20:52love you clues. Lord, make classy truments.
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: Your all. Surpride and pregedice chases.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: When we are your instru men, Let's look at me,
- 1:21:22man of God. If your principles and practices are wrong,
- 1:21:27I don't condemn you or change if you are being mentored.
- 1:21:31When I say unity, I don't mean embracing everything, because
- 1:21:35there are things in the body of Christ that are
- 1:21:37absolute nonsense.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Don't mistaken what I'm saying if it is not.
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: Jesus crucified, if it is not Jesus glorified, if it
- 1:21:46is not Jesus revealed. So when we talk of coming together,
- 1:21:50we're not saying don't carry Rachel. Leave the idols of
- 1:21:54your father's house. There is a better covenant with God.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: There are some of us.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: It was mentorship that led you into all kinds of
- 1:22:03extra biblical practices.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: While we do not condemn you, there is room for repentance. Change.
- 1:22:09Now use this conference to change.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: Some of you were taught by wrong friends manipulative ways
- 1:22:16to raise money for church. There are veterans with understanding
- 1:22:19who can help you on how to structure church finances
- 1:22:23with integrity.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Find them, Go and sit down under their meetings and learn.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: There are some of us who have all kinds of
- 1:22:31character challenges. These are things you have been ignoring for
- 1:22:35a long time, but this is telling on you. Gopa
- 1:22:38can work on yourself at every level.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Growth is still possible. Are we together now?
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: So when I say this, the Bible says to examine
- 1:22:47ourselves whether we are still in the faith.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Honestly, there are people I love, but they cannot be
- 1:22:53my friends.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: I love them sincerely, but until I see the degree
- 1:22:58of your yieldedness to and His purposes. I love you
- 1:23:02from afar and I wish you well, but it would
- 1:23:04be a risk to bring you into my space. Your
- 1:23:08emotional carelessness is not healthy for friendship with me. Your
- 1:23:14level of indiscipline with anything at all, Say anything you
- 1:23:19want to say, do anything you want to do. Turn'mp
- 1:23:22into people's house, collect their cast, collect you whatever in
- 1:23:26the name.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Of prophetic instructions. I love you, but change.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: Don't harass any member to collect money from them they
- 1:23:34didn't send you. If you are bankrupt, go to the
- 1:23:37one who sent you and saying what was the strategy
- 1:23:40for my feeding?
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: Are well together? I have to say this. We cannot
- 1:23:46end the pastor's conference without pointing this. The truth is
- 1:23:50that some of you have lost your honor.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: It said that like in leave because of character issues.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Your issue was not revelation.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: You lack character. Once you drop down from the poor
- 1:24:01det you are almost as if you're never given your
- 1:24:03life to Christ. There are young people that jearlessness started
- 1:24:07from campus and there was no system to tame it.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: Some of us are learning all kinds of rubbish. Lend
- 1:24:18me all kinds of rubbish. It has to change.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Anybody who is coming to your church, plundering you or
- 1:24:26making you stop wealthy people in your church, or all
- 1:24:29kinds of character challenges. I don't condemn you, never will
- 1:24:33I we're products of God's messy. But for God's sake,
- 1:24:36some of you may need to take a break for
- 1:24:38a few weeks and sit down with a seasoned man
- 1:24:41of God, and say, help me. I have anger, help
- 1:24:44me I have lost, help me I have wa again, jealousy, glitterness, envy,
- 1:24:52ah unforgiveness over my dead body.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: No, no, no, no no no. Repent now repent. This
- 1:25:01is why we're holding hands. One prayer and I leave
- 1:25:04this place.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Show me messy your God. Don't pray for your congregation.
- 1:25:08Don't worry about your congregation. Pray for yourself. Obtain messy.
- 1:25:12Work upon my heart. Someone, pray, walk upon my heart.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Give me longevity of impacting ministry.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Let me be a person of love. Knowingly, send knowingly,
- 1:25:26shend knowingly. Let me become a puld to the body
- 1:25:30noted destroyer. Someone, go ahead and pray. Repent for the
- 1:25:34manipulations you may have cause to the members of your church.
- 1:25:38Ask God to show you messy. The Lord is nigh
- 1:25:42them that call upon it. Make a tie before God.
- 1:25:47I'm ready to do ministry with integrity from today. Integrity
- 1:25:52from today given to prayer, given to the body of
- 1:25:56the world, given to lef Borring to build God's people.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: Go ahead and pray. Let it be from the depth
- 1:26:03of your heart.
