- 0:10bad, yeah kind of pot this is gonna be. I'm on your hotel
- 0:14with Paula's gonna get to the intros. She is the first day in the
- 0:18pot, the only lady of the pots, and fine name is Key.
- 0:22Oh hello fellas, thank you for the clam sax. Thank you because you
- 0:26already know I'm on Good vs. With Tone? Yeah, Rider, right,
- 0:29yes, I already know, So you're safe. I'm so happy not
- 0:33to be the wars with today. Yeah, why are you? Why are
- 0:36you upset? Well, as the only lady of the pot, I just
- 0:39find it very interesting how my mic was down for the first five minutes of
- 0:44the last episode, so I snapped like I was potting from the other room.
- 0:47Huh. Okay. Number two, Rider had the camera on my weed
- 0:51like it was literally sitting in my hair. Okay, clips. So I
- 0:55would just like to let y'all know I'm not tolerting. No more foolishes.
- 0:59So make sure the MICA's own tone. Okay you good? Is the angles?
- 1:03Okay today? Okay? Thank you? Hey, I just have to
- 1:08regulate. You had to come back and regulate, get it together, get
- 1:11her mic up, and get the damn came around her weeds. That's all
- 1:15I need. And that was a mistake. I take the black for that.
- 1:19I'll take I'm sorry, I'll take it. So there you have it,
- 1:22all right. Uh. The other member of the pod who was supposed
- 1:26to have my bagg is the only other dude on the pod because have my
- 1:29baggs, my little bro and the funny man, the podzact book. Whatever,
- 1:33what's up, brother, what's happening? How y'all doing the day?
- 1:37Happy? Happy pod day? Yay? I was about please don't give away
- 1:42to day that we recorded this. I didn't. That's why I said pod
- 1:44day. I was I catch yourself. I'm a professional. But the fact
- 1:49that I caught myself and you still felt the need to correct me gonna let
- 1:53you know, I call that it's pretty controlling. Damn. It's oh yeah,
- 1:57that's what it's a tax. It's pretty controlling. Look y'all, y'all,
- 2:06my mic don't go down today. Hey, you never know how you
- 2:08feel it? All right? What you say? I think that. Look,
- 2:15let's go ahead. First of all, I want to say this before
- 2:17we get into the topics that you know. I don't know if anybody saw
- 2:21it. It was these clips going around about Atlanta saying like Atlanta really like
- 2:25party everywhere they go like everything's everything's a party. It's Valet's Hooka in his
- 2:32bottom service everywhere, and they weren't lying everywhere, bro everywhere, the bank
- 2:38everywhere Hooka that First of all, I want to know where the after effects
- 2:43of whoka gonna be because I feel like it's a commercial coming. If you
- 2:46spoke hooka between twenty seventeen and twenty twenty thirty, you got BC and no
- 2:53people that got Yes, you are entitled the conversation. I believe that.
- 2:58I see that you went to Atlanta recently. Yeah, it went over the
- 3:00weekend. Okay, what she was doing Atlanta. Shout out to the Hazzles.
- 3:04Happy, happy, congratulations to that marriage. They were they had been
- 3:08they've been engaged for I think like a year or something and a half maybe,
- 3:12but they finally got married and everybody was there. Kenny Burns was there,
- 3:16Luke James was there. It was like it was like going to the
- 3:20Star studyed wed al getting wound like it's a lot of a lot of powerful
- 3:23people at the wedding, but it was it was dope to see, like
- 3:25you know what you see it? Dude, he's Brooklyn. They like,
- 3:29get up there he trying to hold back tears. That that it gets you.
- 3:31I was like, oh, I was like, oh my boy boy,
- 3:35we're about to cry, like cry in here. No, they don't
- 3:38like you feel a little tingly part of your chest, like I don't know,
- 3:42I don't know if I want to pause. You get happy emotions,
- 3:49Okay, jeez, the tingly part of hill down. I feel like when
- 3:57did we feel this all the time when we go to weddings? But I'd
- 4:00be wondering sometimes do y'all feel that when you see yall homeboy up there about
- 4:02to make the best decision of his life. It's definitely his best decisions.
- 4:06Yeah, and I ain't gonna lie if I ever get married. I'm stealing
- 4:11some of the stuff they did, see, Okay, I like what they
- 4:13did. So they had the right because you know, nobody back with food,
- 4:16even though this was pretty good. But bank with food is back with
- 4:18food, right, and you gotta feed a bunch of people and whatever the
- 4:24number. Because I'm souon the number is crazy. So after that, after
- 4:28they had all of the food went away and everything they bought out beef patties
- 4:31and Philly cheese steaks and chicken cheese cake. Yeah, a little thing exact,
- 4:36y'all after like lanverybody dance if y'all still hungry, we got cheese steaks
- 4:40and beef patties over there. I was like, oh, yeah, perfect,
- 4:44that's hood. I ain't gonna lie. I might do some like gear
- 4:46ros and it. Yes, yeah, was lit for that. Yeah,
- 4:50that was a cool point. I love it. And you're talking about Hezo.
- 4:53When we went to Atlanta, we kicked your heads all right, Yeah,
- 4:55yeah, you know I thought Hezo was married already. Oh yeah,
- 4:58yeah, yeah, I thought he was already. Ma oh yeah. But
- 5:00that brother him and him and Jenna, they went nowhere without each other.
- 5:03Yeah, we went to we went to lunch with them. You remember we
- 5:06went to lunch and she was there at the taco spot. So I thought
- 5:10I literally thought, you know, she was like, I'm gonna let yall
- 5:13have y'all boys time. But I really thought that I thought they was married
- 5:15already. That's his ace to them, congratulating them for sure, she's she's
- 5:23adult. I forgot my man knew that that and they did the little that's
- 5:30the thing. So this is the funny part. So I went to my
- 5:31cousin's wedding and he's a capital, my first cousin. We're all cabas for
- 5:38the same chapter, which is cool, and I love that part. I
- 5:42love it, do you know what I mean? Not a lot of family
- 5:44members are part of the same chapter from all, but we from all on
- 5:46the same chapter. So I watched it so every time. And you you
- 5:51know too, when you when someone gets married and your fraternity brother or your
- 5:57sorority sister, they have a song, did you sing a song that you
- 6:01sing to that person? And im the deltas that they went they crushed her
- 6:08song, And I just thought about how none of us knew the song for
- 6:12my cousin. So he's like, oh, we just I'm not even gonna
- 6:17like y'all. This is this might be the only thing I might not like
- 6:20about Alpha. We have we have a hymn. It's called to him,
- 6:25and I'm tell you, we know he was one of We was the first
- 6:27fraternity and that song sounds like we were the first fraternity. Oh song.
- 6:31It's so slow and negro spiritual. We have the slowest song that we sing.
- 6:40It starts off like this, okay, oh what fun fro speed like?
- 7:02Yeah, I'm dead serious our song And you asked me you've probably heard
- 7:05that before. Yeah, I'm dead serious. That definitely sounds like brothers fighting
- 7:09for the first. Don't sound like it sound like the first Yeah, I've
- 7:14ever made for that's our saw. Y'all know I saw. I'm not in
- 7:16the attorneys, I'm you know I get. But so y'all actually singing this
- 7:24at ceremonies, you sing it at graduations, weddings, special occasions. You
- 7:29sing to him, and y'all do the whole stroll thing too. I can't
- 7:32marry no, none of y'all because we's too much like why why is my
- 7:38reception? I gotta you know, I can't. I do a first dance
- 7:41and then y'all get up and sing. Then y'all stroll the whole Now,
- 7:45y'all don't stop the Yes we do. No, y'all don't know. Y'all
- 7:48don't tell him. Did you take your cane? You know what you had?
- 7:50What you y'all? No, No, we don't know. We didn't
- 7:53do that? What stopping? What is it? We didn't do the can,
- 7:56We didn't do our can. Were strolled though we definitely throw our shoulders.
- 8:00I'm realizing my legs don't go that. I can't. That ain't really
- 8:03my thing? Got it no more? But tell the true how many times
- 8:05did you do it? Because I feel like it doesn't stop when I go
- 8:09to weddings and it's somebody's in the fraternity all night, we gotta watch him
- 8:13and his line brothers dance all night. No, no, I'm not doing
- 8:16that. We do I don't think. I don't think. I think my
- 8:18older brothers are not doing that. We don't do it all night no more.
- 8:20Then, But you're going to young with yeah right now, they just
- 8:26they just crossed. Ye sit your sweaty as. I don't want to.
- 8:31I'm like, could you sit there? Yeah, that's them younger. Yeah,
- 8:35I want to say what you see older dudes still strolling all the time
- 8:39for a long time. They I'm not brothers. No shade to him.
- 8:41They didn't have and there's nothing wrong with him. And they trying to live
- 8:45in their glory day. That's what they trying to do. They don't have
- 8:48a lot of opportunities where you pledge alumni, you don't. I'm not I'm
- 8:54not doing that there. No, I'm not gonna go on. What I'm
- 8:56saying is when you pledge alumni, you don't have a lot of opportunities to
- 9:01stroll. That's not like a lot. That's not a lot of opportunities to
- 9:05get that off. If you had that feeling, yea. Now, if
- 9:07you plan, if you plan, like Zach and I undergrad, we was
- 9:11doing it at least twice a week, two to three times a week easily.
- 9:18Oh house party up, up, were up? Oh man, we're
- 9:22at the bar, were upt? You just don't you just do it anyway.
- 9:26You definitely did it at the minimal at college, the minimal once a
- 9:31week, once a weekts the minimum a courtyard every Wednesday, you definitely did
- 9:35it. If you didn't do it any other times outside outside every Wednesday.
- 9:39Now everybody did. All the Greeks did that, did everybody? You You
- 9:43want to get a step show? It was if it was a step show,
- 9:46it was a fashion shright. If it was something going on where one
- 9:48of your line brothers was running for a position in student government. If it
- 9:52was like you gonna do it it happens. So by the time you get
- 9:58getting married age where people are getting married, you cool, you cool,
- 10:01You're gonna do it that one time. You excited to do it that one
- 10:05time when everybody see you in part of the ceremony. But I don't need
- 10:07to do it after that I'm done. Yeah, it stresses me. And
- 10:11I was like, this is this baby, I can't get jiggy with this.
- 10:13They just steady rocking in the circle and hollering and screaming. And I
- 10:18didn't know about the song that's new yet now you know you're black. Instead
- 10:22of saying what they're doing, now you know, we took you up.
- 10:26And I just thought about this when you said about that, you know,
- 10:28it sounds like a Negro spiritual. Yes. I think about the time my
- 10:31grandma's still mad at me about what I said one time at uh my grandma's
- 10:37ninety four and she's still mad about what I said a while ago. A
- 10:39couple of things. Giving is about music. Back then, I was like
- 10:41Grandma. I was like, I was like, who's y'all listening to?
- 10:45When y'all wanted to get lit, you know, and like y'all was like
- 10:48going out, well, you know, we're the whole family there. And
- 10:50then she's like, yeah, our music is better than it was, way
- 10:52better than y'all stuff. I was like, Grandma, stop it. She's
- 10:56like, yes, it was. My grandma got a strong and strong,
- 11:00light skinned lady, strong opinions. I was like, I was like,
- 11:03I'm gonna tell you this, Grandma, what none of y'all your music better
- 11:07than none of ours because we was free. What is she still mad at
- 11:16me about that? I hope she took you out the wheels like you.
- 11:20We were free black music. You make this kind of music back there,
- 11:26you'd be hanging on with treating white folks to go getch you. My grandma
- 11:31came up and saved black people's music, and then they started getting better,
- 11:37and then the juke joints. My white man, I can go share cropping,
- 11:41you know what I mean? Like that is so buck is a lot.
- 11:46Though you're mad at me, He told his grandma was this lady to
- 11:50survive the ones. She didn't survive slavery, She didn't gave birth to all
- 11:56these light skinned kids, and you come here talking about she She should have
- 12:00beat your ass. I got a good laugh out the family, though they
- 12:11still probably tell that, Yeah, you're you're out of order. Even when
- 12:15told told Grandma she wasn't free. Oh my god, how disrespectful. All
- 12:22right, you got what you got? Oh what I got? Yeah?
- 12:28Well, okay. Tyler Perry made some comments that I would love to get
- 12:35your opinion on. He made a comment in a recent interview where he said
- 12:39that women black women specifically should be happy if they have a man who truly
- 12:45loves them, respects them, and cares for them. If only he can
- 12:50pay, if he can only pay the light bill, you should be happy
- 12:52with that. So, you know, women need to come around to this
- 12:56new method of being providers and head of household financially and be okay with that.
- 13:03And so I figured, you know, you guys are too hard working,
- 13:05strong black men that are providers and fathers. And so I figured,
- 13:09what would y'all say to this? Go ahead, as no, you go.
- 13:15This is the truth. This is the absolute truth. I've said this
- 13:20and time time after time when they keep coming this narrative. Maybe for white
- 13:24women, maybe for white women, not even baby, I don't know about
- 13:28for white women. I don't know. I'm not a part of their culture,
- 13:31but I definitely know this that it's way way more black women getting it
- 13:39than black men. In most cases, black women make more than black men.
- 13:43Me and me and Zach are lucky. We wanted a lucky few,
- 13:46but a lot of women. And this goes to and no, it's just
- 13:50I mean, it's a lot of black women went right to college or winter
- 13:54college and finished college. It's a lot of black women that was on their
- 13:56business while unfortunately dudes was chasing Black men were chasing ass and doing certain things.
- 14:03But how many I see a lot more Black women jumping ass out of
- 14:07especially while I was in Atlanta, jumping out of ranges, jumping out of
- 14:11bins. Is got got two and three properties, got all type of stuff
- 14:15going on. And it's not no this to y'all. Right, I'm just
- 14:18saying that it's more of y'all making more money. It's harder for you when
- 14:22you hit this woman yelling I need a man to make one hundred and twenty
- 14:26thousand. That ain't no easy number to get to, right, Right,
- 14:28So what you're saying is because there's a lack of black men who can meet
- 14:31the standard, then we should just accept what is left, which is y'all
- 14:35broke cousins. That love us. That's what you're saying, which what you
- 14:39want, you won't love the money, so you so you're saying a woman,
- 14:43you have to choose, but you may have to choose. Yeah,
- 14:46y'all make a choice sometimes we do. But you just said black women typically
- 14:50make more money. So y'all, y'all are winning because y'all getting women that
- 14:54love you, women that care for you, and we bring it back to
- 14:56the table. So why should we make it okay for me to just be
- 15:00SuPAR in that lane instead of requiring more from them. Okay, this is
- 15:05gonna go two different ways because because I have an argument to what Ki is
- 15:09saying, she's taking it another place. In my opinion, I feel like
- 15:15she's moving the goalpost, okay, because she wants to go into a black
- 15:18woman settling thing, and I have a different conversation when it comes to that.
- 15:22But if we're gonna talk about what Tyler Perry originally said, I do
- 15:28not agree with that. Tyler Perry started off that conversation by saying black women
- 15:33make more money than black men. Now that is not factual. Okay,
- 15:39that is not Now if you go to some metropolitan areas, people talk about
- 15:45Atlanta, talk about maybe sometime some places in Chicago, some places in DC.
- 15:50That may be true, you know what I'm saying, in those metropolitan
- 15:56areas, But if you're talking about the country, that's still not true.
- 15:58Black and make more money than black women tradition ain't. Okay. Now to
- 16:04my point to what Tyler Perry saying, is Tyler Perry, if you walk
- 16:10in anybody's house as a billionaire, you've been out the game a little too
- 16:12long. Brother, you are a billionaire. You don't know what nobody regular
- 16:18is going through. So start there, okay. And the second thing is
- 16:22as a man in tone, you can agree to this if you want any
- 16:26respect in your house. Just playing a light bill and see what the hell
- 16:30happen if you will not know. Do men like paying being paying bills and
- 16:37billing providers? Maybe some do, okay, but do we just like paying
- 16:40bills? Men don't like paying bills as much as women pay bills. But
- 16:42but but what men do like is having respect. Okay. One thing that
- 16:47we will have is respect in our home. So what we will are saying
- 16:51is, yes, I will take care of the mortgage. I will take
- 16:52care of this, and you take care of this, this, and that,
- 16:56especially if I have the if I have the means to do it,
- 16:59and I'm gonna say this, and I'm gonna let you have a key.
- 17:00King. The men who complain about not being providers, and I hate to
- 17:06say it is the men who don't have it. Okay, if you do
- 17:10not have the means to take care of everything, of course you want to
- 17:14split things. But I've never it's very rare that you see men who have
- 17:18the absolute means to do things and not be providers. That's why I don't
- 17:22like the talk about women talking about all he I'm settling for this and that.
- 17:29No men would love to be providers if he really could do it right,
- 17:32right, It's just that he can't. Yeah, you know what I'm
- 17:33saying. That's what either either men are either if they're not doing it and
- 17:37they do have the money, they feel like they're being played or they're being
- 17:41taken advantage of. Okay, but if you're not being taken advantage of and
- 17:44you actually have the money, I don't think that men have no problem doing
- 17:48for women and being providers. I don't disagree with you. I actually like
- 17:52the kind of way you broke it down. The only thing I don't I
- 17:53do disagree with you on is when you say for a man to have respect
- 17:57in his house, he must pay a majority of the bills because that's a
- 18:02light bill. I was saying because Tyler Pierry used the light bill as stick
- 18:06and if you're not gonna get away with nothing, just just paying a light
- 18:07bill and she pay everything else, no respect. But that's not true,
- 18:11and that shouldn't be true in your relationship because even if your woman only pays
- 18:15the light bill, she should have the same equal amount of respect as you
- 18:18in your relationship and in your house because she's your woman. But you know
- 18:21the difference kick what she has giant, No, that's not That isn't okay.
- 18:26Everybody should be respected, whether whoever is provided or not. That's that's
- 18:30where the issue comes. We have to be the only person playing a light
- 18:33bill and that's all you doing. That's a different type. Like you know,
- 18:38if you date somebody, you only paying a light bill. And I'm
- 18:41gonna take paying my woman's light bill. This stuff I gotta do that she
- 18:45can't worry about, Yeah, grocery, Yeah you can't worry about like she
- 18:49never got to worry about. We got toil the tissue paper tiles. She
- 18:52ain't never got to worry about certain I'm gonna make life easier on certain situations
- 18:57because hey, I know she taking on the big lump of the financial responsibility.
- 19:03And then I mean, let's just let's just cut. You expect to
- 19:06be respected when she gets respecting me And I get what you're saying, though,
- 19:11I understand what you're saying. But if I'm doing, if you making
- 19:15money, can't already go into or sit you all now what you're about to
- 19:18say? Come on, because I need to get when I say respected.
- 19:23What I'm trying to say is you're not calling no shots, just paying the
- 19:26light bill, and y'all y'all the man, and you can sit here and
- 19:30act like that's the case, but we know it's not. We know it's
- 19:33we know it's not. You come in with your little light bill, with
- 19:37your thirty six dollars that you have on the light bill, and let's say,
- 19:41y'all about to move, okay, And she is saying, Hey,
- 19:45I want to live on the South Side. I really like this house right
- 19:48here. He doesn't. He wants to live I want to live closer to
- 19:51my mama, right here on the West side. Guess what a man who's
- 19:53paying even just half or fifty percent of the bills they split a fifty fifty
- 19:59has way more weight in that decision. Boy, She's gonna look at that
- 20:03man just playing the life deal and be like, I don't give a damn
- 20:06where you want to stay. I'm paying this. I pay the most.
- 20:10And in the reason you're saying, well, a woman can get away with
- 20:12it, yes, because women are loved unconditionally. Men are not me and
- 20:17are loved based off condition. Men are loved conditionally because that's not true.
- 20:23We are. We are loved based off all. Right, So we're not
- 20:29love stuff women put up with from me and that they love. Are you
- 20:33crazy? Because they like unconditionally. A lot of these women love y'all,
- 20:37not me. I don't love nobody unconditionally, but my my like immediate family,
- 20:41mama's sister, brother, I don't. I'm doing everything okay, But
- 20:45with you, everything got a condition. What man is loved under conditionally to
- 20:49men? And I love conditioning y'all the time. My husband will be loved
- 20:52you, daddy, and sometimes that come under condition, Yes, that come
- 20:59again. But if y'all love women under conditions as well. But no,
- 21:03this is my thing. I let me just say this, and I think
- 21:06it's a with Tyler Prayer. You gotta think where he's talking from. Though
- 21:10he's talking from Atlanta's he lives in Atlanta. That's what he sees. And
- 21:15when you go to Atlanta I just left, you see a lot lady always
- 21:19trying to say, like a lot of black women down there. They're like,
- 21:22oh, you gotta take care of me. Yeah, I get it
- 21:25might be a I see way more black women in Atlanta getting money out there.
- 21:30But I will say this, if you are a woman and you're making
- 21:33one hundred and fifty thousand, one hundred and seventy thousand, two hundred thousand
- 21:37a quarter meal four hundred, you're not gonna to find a regular dude that
- 21:45make that type of bread off cup. It's going to be harder for you
- 21:48to find that. So the person you already know on your mind. If
- 21:52you're at a number, you at a number and you hanging out in regular
- 21:56spots, you're not around celebrities, you're not around more fluid pe More times
- 22:00than not, you're gonna run into somebody that's got less money than you.
- 22:04So you already know. If you you already know what you're going up against,
- 22:07you should already as a woman. If you dat me and you to
- 22:11you go to the club, you go to bloom and you got on Fendy
- 22:15and you pulled up in a range and you got four hundred thousand in the
- 22:18bank. I don't know if it's a lot of dudes in the club that
- 22:21got four hundred thousand thouars in the bank. I agree with you on that,
- 22:23and you you actually opened my eyes to this because like a few like
- 22:26we've been parted about this for a while and you always say, like,
- 22:30I'm probably projected to make more than whatever partner I end up with. Yeah,
- 22:33so you do have to find a balance with that. But my I
- 22:36can't handle a man just paying a light bill, so that don't work for
- 22:38me. I need you to bring as much as you can to the table,
- 22:41even if I make more. I still expect you to be trying to
- 22:45do more. Just paying a light bill. You ain't even trying. So
- 22:48I understand what Tyler Perry was trying to get the women to understand. We
- 22:52are a lot of us are going to be making more than our partners,
- 22:55and it's Okay, to have a balance in a relationship, as long as
- 22:56you're happy and being treated correctly, and you out somebody that you love.
- 23:00We shouldn't be getting in relationships because this one, this one could pay the
- 23:04mortgage, but that one came girl, he could just pay all the others.
- 23:07So I'm gonna go with him. No, you're gonna go up to
- 23:10do that. Truly loves you, and that's what you gotta That's what we
- 23:11all need to look for, true love. And stop pocket watching so hard.
- 23:17But don't be no food. Don't let nobody come up in your house
- 23:18and just pay the light bill because a ten a fifteen year old could just
- 23:22pay the light bill by watching cars. So if you can only pay the
- 23:25light bill, you're not working hard enough. That's my take. Okay,
- 23:29what you're saying, I was about to say, next topic like free me
- 23:34from this. I just get your last words that last word. I hate
- 23:40though, I hate, I hate though. See this is this is what
- 23:42women do when they when they make more money. You ruined the language.
- 23:48I'm like you not because I didn't see it. It's a lot in front
- 23:55of us. We got a new setup. It's a lot of cameras in
- 23:56front of us, a lot of screens. But when you say, and
- 23:59I hear when say this all the time. This is a testament of I
- 24:02hear, because even when I shout out to Kendrid g when I host her
- 24:04show, I hear women say this. I asked them what type of salary
- 24:07would you like the man to make? Yes, and they always say,
- 24:11well, he needs to work harder. Yeah, okay, as if a
- 24:14man isn't working hard. So I love to give the example if a man
- 24:17is working hard as a what if his career just doesn't have the same type
- 24:22of end result of yours, earning potential of a of a some some of
- 24:27yours. You might be a man he's a school teacher, and he's a
- 24:30math teacher, and he's and he's a football coach. Yes, that's what
- 24:33that's his passion, that's what he loves. But he let's say he makes
- 24:36fifty thousand dollars a year. You can't tell me he's not working hard.
- 24:37He's waking up at seven am, getting prepared, ending the day at five,
- 24:41then going, then going, then teaching the kids. I mean,
- 24:45I advocate in his community, a respectable man, you know. But then
- 24:49if he's not making up women are say, well, don't you want to
- 24:52be a principal one day? Don't you want to do more than that?
- 24:56No? No, I actually don't. I'm actually doing in my calling.
- 24:59And that's and y'all put this unnecessary pressure up, like if you're not making
- 25:03a certain amount of money, you're not working hard enough. And I don't
- 25:06think that's true. No. My specific what I just said, and we
- 25:10can run the tape, was if you can only pay the light bill,
- 25:11you're not working hard enough. Well, yeah, so that's my statement.
- 25:15I know you wanted to get that all five teachers and the football cultures in
- 25:18the world, and I'm glad you did. But I'm glad you did that
- 25:22to represent However, my statement was, if you can only provide the flight
- 25:26bill, you're not working hard enough. And I stand by what I said.
- 25:30Okay, I don't know when to said the light bill wasn't another They
- 25:33didn't respect it being the light bill. Yeah, that's the cheapest bill.
- 25:36Okay, all right, let's go ahead and get to the next topic.
- 25:38Exactly what you got going on? Bro? Oh well, well I got
- 25:41going on this, geez jeez. And Jenny did y'all see that they were
- 25:48he filed for divorce. He filed for divorce, jeez, definitely filed for
- 25:51the boy. This room was already out about that. What's the sea?
- 25:55What is it? I saw this morning? They're trying to say that that
- 25:57Jenny Mile was sexton Mario Little. I was just trying to confine if you
- 26:03heard what I heard, that's look that let me see. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:10but how do you find that out? You're going through a phone?
- 26:14Hello, I mean that's how you find it out, yes, but I
- 26:18mean it is odd, acting a little weird, and then you see go
- 26:19on a phone for jeez, listen, something traumatic had to happen, jeezy,
- 26:25just maybe a week or two weeks ago when he was on his book.
- 26:27He's on his tour with his book, was talking about his wife and
- 26:30didn't seem like he was ready for divorce or anything like that. You know,
- 26:33then all of a sudden to file like that, something traumatic happened,
- 26:37Something had to have happened. I don't know what it was. It will
- 26:41never know. The book went number one, the books number one one,
- 26:44the book win number one. So he's done. So you think it was
- 26:48all a publicity stuff. What hood man. You did y'all? Y'all?
- 26:52Did we need talk about the same jeezy, y'all? I really thought this
- 26:56relationship was gonna work. Yeah, I did, really honest. Men don't
- 27:00get into relationships to just come over. I'm not hey. I'm not saying
- 27:06Jez got in the relationships to come up. Don't put words in my mouth.
- 27:08I said. Nobody said that. Jesus, he just said. He
- 27:12just said that, don't. I didn't say Jez got in the relationship with
- 27:15number one. However, this was definitely an opportunity for Jez to rebrand himself
- 27:22by getting into this relationship with this girl, and it put him in a
- 27:26different lay, in a different light, and he changed. He wouldn't wrote
- 27:27a book. He's now missed to Jez Jenkins. And now it's over with.
- 27:32He don't need that no more, and he need to go back to
- 27:33being the regular Jess. We already knew because I never liked this relationship to
- 27:37begin with, because she's the comments she made before they got married because I
- 27:40didn't like it. So however, he didn't need it. He doesn't need
- 27:44to do this no more. So it's over with, and I and for
- 27:45him to foul tells me that he made the decision to get up out of
- 27:49that. All I know is who's a really who won Trap of the Year
- 27:53four times in a row. He does not need to get in any relationship
- 27:57to change his prof You don't think so. No, No, I don't
- 28:00not not to really in it. You already know you got trapper years.
- 28:06Thank you. His name is Jez Jenkins. He's the bottom of the man.
- 28:10You gotta come on in the bottom of this trap Jeszy wearing three piece
- 28:15suits, going got wearing three piece suits, going golfing where like stop like,
- 28:21come on, I got called tomorrow. I don't even go stop wearing
- 28:25me show. Y'all did not believe this relationship. Come on, man,
- 28:30y'all, it's not y'all not gonna y'all really ain't really enough to say it.
- 28:33But y'all didn't think this relationship was real exactly. I didn't. I
- 28:38know you didn't, bro I said, Jez got to be in love with
- 28:41Jenie. My what he got She's a tractor. All right, I'm gonna
- 28:48let y'all have look. This is my say, a real rebrand. Jez
- 28:53is one of the biggest rappers in the world. Yes, he is.
- 28:56He is. He is definitely a pillar of hip hop up. He did
- 29:00not need to do that. All he had to do was gonna hang out
- 29:03with jay Z, gonna take a couple of pictures and suits go to be
- 29:07seated. He could do it any a thousand other ways. And a sort
- 29:10of woman he dates doesn't matter. No, I'm not gonna say that matter
- 29:12because we all know in Hollywood, when you want to rebrand yourself, you
- 29:15get around a different click and you get a woman that is totally opposite of
- 29:18what you come from. Let's be for real. When Kanye wanted to break
- 29:22into the fashion world, he went with Kim because she can get him in
- 29:26the rooms. No you need Donald Trump is sitting down with Kanye West if
- 29:40he wasn't connected to Chris Jenna. Now, Kanye West one of the biggest
- 29:45represent the world stay women Hollywood relationships. They get together for a certain reason.
- 29:56I'm not gonna let y'all see him, ain't gonna act. I guess
- 30:00not true. But you jay Z and Beyonce, y'all mean to tell me
- 30:07that's not a business mentality there? No, that is you know what that
- 30:12is? Jay Z being wonder, Go ahead, what you say, I'm
- 30:15sorry to answer a question. I think that jay Z has you know,
- 30:19they have done business together. Honestly, I think jay Z has sharp and
- 30:23Beyonce's business mine more than Beyonce is sharping jay Z. But you don't think.
- 30:27You don't think being with Beyonce gets jay Z into certain rooms. This
- 30:36is not a real thing, like y'all crazy. These relationships work to get
- 30:41It's not that one person is better than us. It's just that you get
- 30:45in certain rooms that you get certain Let me show my age, but your
- 30:49partner is who he is, your little fluffy fine lady. Let me tell
- 30:53you something, man, but down here tripping you. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 31:00call you back. If this is security, she is twigging. Let me
- 31:06to you. Let me explain something to you, because he's probably too young
- 31:08and probably knowing. Jay Z biggest rapper in the world. Yes, Beyonce
- 31:15a part of Desi child and more and more circles than not. Considered one
- 31:21of the top women in the world like black women, bad talented. So
- 31:26you got the best rapper in the world and everybody's loving at the height I'm
- 31:30talking height to jay Z. Beyonce at the height of Beyonce. He went
- 31:36after the baddest chick he could. He was, why would he go date
- 31:40down? He went to the top of the mountain, of the celebrity mountain,
- 31:42and went and got her and married her. That's what That's what it
- 31:47was. It wasn't like I don't think a business decision. I think I
- 31:49think it or either or a thought even if I'm a level up, like
- 31:53oh, if me and hugg get together, we're gonna be a power couple.
- 31:56I think he just was like, this is the baddest chick out here.
- 32:00I'm that dude. I'm gonna get it, and he did in a
- 32:02lot of cases, and I mean, of course it works out. Will
- 32:06you start looking at it from a whole picture, like, yeah, Beyonce,
- 32:09say, jay Z that this power couple. But do I think that
- 32:14he was lead He got into that relationship and was looking at Beyonce like,
- 32:16oh, yeah, if we get together, what's gonna we're gonna be We're
- 32:20gonna be a whole thing. I think he's like, man, it's broadest
- 32:22bad and I've been a wifer. Yeah, so was Maya Like I just
- 32:27feel like different pictures, Absolutely, jay Z. If I'm jay Z I'm
- 32:35going for the one I know I can make billions with. Like, let's
- 32:38stop acting these relationships. They don't consider the potential of the partner. When
- 32:44I say Gez and Genie, mine was a business situation in my mind,
- 32:47because nobody was inviting Geez to New York Fashion Week before he dated Genie Mine
- 32:52because he had no reason to be there. He'd trapped with a year full
- 32:54times as you say, so, my thing is when you cleaning up your
- 32:58image, you change you rebranding yourself. Having a partner who is totally opposite
- 33:01of what you come from get you in other rooms and get you different looks.
- 33:05And I'm not gonna sit here and let y'all but til like that's not
- 33:08a reality. Can I ask you a question? I pretend I ask you
- 33:12what how? I don't know why straight to because I loved you just gave
- 33:17him a straight But what what? What had okay? Okay, but kick?
- 33:24What What has Jesus done in his career so far that he couldn't do
- 33:30without Jennie May? But my thing, he wasn't the bull field. He
- 33:36could have got a book deal. And if if you read it, if
- 33:37you saw the interview he got the book deal from Charlotmagne, Charlotmage. He
- 33:40could have done that. Jesus has done nothing. Jennie May has done nothing
- 33:44for Jesus career. He did at the versus. He's still doing the same
- 33:49tours that he's been on. He ain't doing nothing of difference. That you
- 33:52over what he's talking about. It's over. That's why it's over. It
- 33:58wasn't it didn't work. It didn't work. Now it's over because she was
- 34:00probably to the next cat spread open to somebody else. But man had a
- 34:06baby water he was trying. I just felt like when Jez married Jeanie My
- 34:10it was a reach and I felt like it wasn't authentic on his part.
- 34:15Had a fire. I don't care. I felt like, as a fan
- 34:20of Jez, I felt like, this is totally off bread for what we
- 34:22know you for and who we would think that you would want to be.
- 34:24That she had that fire and I did not. I did not believe the
- 34:29relationship from day one, and I don't believe it today. And had whatever
- 34:31they reason might be, it is they reason, but I do not believe
- 34:36that it was ever genuine nasty. That's y'all gotta see some other things you
- 34:40gotta throw on y'all. Keep telling y'all when things don't make sense, it
- 34:45might be somebody nasty. So I don't know where that came from, but
- 34:50I just felt like it's a fail. It was a failed investment. It
- 34:52was a fail. Oh my god, all right, where is my turn?
- 34:55And he gets to this this, this one, this one seems like
- 35:02it was a bit much. Really one Coach Prime. I wanted to talk
- 35:07about that a little bit, the Coach Prime situation. Do you think the
- 35:10way everybody is viewing outside of the community is viewing Coach Prime has a little
- 35:16racist racism on and a little hint a little hint e racist. It feel
- 35:21a little hint of racist what they've been saying this. I mean, the
- 35:23hat in the glasses thing was a little bit. I like, Yo,
- 35:27come on, bro, y'all know I don't watch sports, so what I
- 35:30miss with that? Okay, we're sitting down. That's gonna be a whole
- 35:31thing. It's gonna take too long to explain what was they doing what they
- 35:35had in glass. Okay, I'm not even wears a hat in a certain
- 35:38glasses. So you're saying other people start trying to wear it now. No,
- 35:40No, another coach said, a coach said that, you you know,
- 35:45take your hat and your glasses off when you speak to adults about He
- 35:50said that about Dion Sanders. Yeah, as he's like, he was saying
- 35:52that, and it's a black dude too. What made him say that he
- 35:55was white? No? Jay, Jay, what's her name? Is black?
- 35:58He is? Yeah, he just likes you want your brother, you
- 36:00want your brother? He is. Okay, I take the racism back then,
- 36:05No, you can still be racist. It can still be racism.
- 36:07But like the hints of racism that I've seen with them with talking about Dion
- 36:10is like when they be like, did you see the announcers, Oh,
- 36:14the sidelines looks like the b TO Awards holed up. Wait a minute,
- 36:19they said, yeah, they say it's a start study. It looks like
- 36:22the b TO Awards. Yeah, hang, do kind of wold like to
- 36:25be towards It's lit. It's I'm gonna keep it in a book, Colorado
- 36:30Football. I guarantee either it's either this Oregon game or the USC game.
- 36:37Jay Z and Lebron James are showing up. Well. Lebron James is already
- 36:39scheduled to be at the USC game, like this LA game is nuts.
- 36:45If you see the lineup for the LA game, I think it came out
- 36:47of like people who have already reserved their time for It's rediculous. What's wrong
- 36:53with that? They playing in Colorado, playing in USC, They're playing in
- 36:58n LA. That game is gonna be nuts. He had to rock this
- 37:01past game. He had little Wayne Kawhi, Leonard uh Le, Lowry,
- 37:07offset who else was there? Key Clock was there. I mean it's key
- 37:12Clock, but I love Key Gotlock. He was there. All these people
- 37:15were there just showing up for to see his boys play. So you know
- 37:19what Dean is doing right now if special and we are all being Wagon fans,
- 37:23and we all should be because if who the hell gave a damn about
- 37:28Colorado football before Dean Sanders got there, in no way, shape or form,
- 37:31would I ever watch a Colorado versus Colorado State game and nothing? You
- 37:36know what I'm saying. So that just proves that, you know, you
- 37:37give black people the power, the juice. We don't even just give us
- 37:42a platform. We don't show out, Okay. Yeah, And it's also
- 37:45proves in my in my head that you know, we always hear about how
- 37:50negativity sales. You know what I'm saying, Well, positivity sales too.
- 37:53Because Dean has done nothing negative all these num has been confident in themselves.
- 37:58Yeah, confident in his boys, show himself being a good father, showing
- 38:00himself good, being a good leader. I've literally never heard ESPN mentioning the
- 38:05words ministry and calling more than since Deon's been doing his run. Oh it's
- 38:08his calling to be this, it's his ministry to do this. So as
- 38:12much as we talk about negativity selling, I don't want to hear it positively
- 38:15obviously seals and gets just as much attention as negativity does. I love a
- 38:20story like this because because I feel like Deon Sanders is the example of when
- 38:24your mouth match your work. Like, you know what I'm saying, a
- 38:28lot of times we have people in positions in places where they do a lot
- 38:30of talking and didn't the way they're working the ethic don't back up, you
- 38:34know what I'm saying. You might you talk in and you might perform on
- 38:37it, but you're a terrible person in real life, you know what I'm
- 38:38saying. He seems to check all of the boxes, and I feel like
- 38:42we should always cheer him on. Wherever he got here. He go to
- 38:44Utah, Colorado, New Mexico. Everybody need to be in place. Yep.
- 38:49Yeah, And what this is, here's one of my things, and
- 38:52it's in a lot of people look at Dean Santas and they're like, oh,
- 38:55okay, they're saying how he dresses or what he does, what he's
- 39:00doing the college football turn it into the BT Awards all of that then.
- 39:04But what I what I always say is that, yeah, Dean saying is
- 39:07not better than any other human being on this planet. But I always say
- 39:10when people expect were not the same though, Dean's not the same as everybody
- 39:15else. There's very few people that have been a high caliber athlete, like
- 39:19a legendary football players, a Hall of Fame football player, and most people's
- 39:22mind, one of the best quarterbacks, if not the best quarterback to ever
- 39:27played football. He was a top tier college athlete, he top tier baseball
- 39:31player, and then goes and becomes a top tier He was actually a fun
- 39:37of that when he was on TV. He was fun to watch. So
- 39:39now he takes leaves TV, which I was like, damn, and becomes
- 39:43a coach and does it like this is crazy, and to do it on
- 39:47a team that was what that won like three games last year. They won
- 39:52one game last year, one game last year. And now he has put
- 39:57his son and this is far from a dad person factive. Makes me feel
- 40:00good like he took his son. I'll put you on this national stage,
- 40:05and I'm gonna get my son a back because right now they got a first
- 40:07round grade on your door. Yeah, first round grade, and his son's
- 40:10playing safety. He's probably the second and third round. His both of his
- 40:15kids gonna be in the NFL. Uh. It just it's a cool story
- 40:17to watch, and I surely wish because I got a connection. Didn't know
- 40:22Dianna, And I'm gonna try to get myself to one of the games.
- 40:23Yeah, I gotta get yeah games real quick though. Let's get to this
- 40:30key kid. It's a little messy story with Remy mind and Pat Poos?
- 40:34Did you hear about that? I'm seeing all this stuff popping up on my
- 40:37timeline. My sister in law just text me to my I can you find
- 40:38out if Remy really cheated on Pet Poos? I really, because you know,
- 40:44jeez my Jeezy and jade My, that's one breakup. I could I
- 40:50expected that Tianna Taylor, Andy Mine. I didn't like that, Okay,
- 40:53And now you come, if y'all tell me Remy and pat Poos is breaking
- 40:58up, I out something like, I know, I ain't no hope for
- 41:01me. If Remy and Papoos ain't making it, ain't no hope for me
- 41:05out here. Yeah, it's crazy, It ain't no hope. That's a
- 41:09good man. And I hate to say this, what but it's easy to
- 41:14stay together when you don't see each other every day. I don't know what
- 41:17I'm saying. Okay, when they was, when he was holding her down
- 41:21and they was just doing phone calls and all of that, that was probably
- 41:24tough for him. I'm not saying, but it's much you said. It
- 41:28was easy to be in a relationship while I really was locked up. Easier
- 41:30to be locked up this man, it's crazy. I forget I'm playing but
- 41:36at this. But what I'm trying to say is you don't understand how much
- 41:39time we've spend talking to each other now. And I don't think we understand
- 41:44if we can't compare that how much time we spend together now compared to what
- 41:47we used to spend back in the day. That's why I think. I
- 41:51think that's we have to look at that correlation. It's got to be something
- 41:53there. We are sitting here texting each other all day dm dming each other
- 41:59all day, talking all day, seeing each other all day, then you
- 42:01can actually dam and contact other people very very easily. You don't think that
- 42:07this plays a role into why relationships? No, that's much. You need
- 42:12too much connecting. You need to go with somebody you like, because clearly
- 42:15who you don't go with nobody that you like. Because if you like somebody,
- 42:19talking to them is what you look forward to. In the day I
- 42:21was married, You think I didn't like the person I was with? You
- 42:23think pet Hooos didn't like like his wife? Would you want to answer honestly?
- 42:32Together so at some point she didn't you didn't like it? You do
- 42:36like the person, yeah, But because saying like is enough to keep a
- 42:39relationship. I think I think you gotta like a person more than you love
- 42:43him to be in a relationship, and I do. That's a hot take
- 42:45for me. I think I gotta like you more than I actually love you
- 42:49for us to work. For me, I have to like you because if
- 42:52I don't like you, I could love to so many love and like two
- 42:55different things. I feel like you might you love, but like if you
- 43:00don't want to text me and you don't want to talk to me, you
- 43:01don't like me. I don't know when he's saying, hold on, this
- 43:05is the problem women. Takes one little word and m hell, you know
- 43:14what exactly saying is Sometimes at all times you need a break. You need
- 43:20a break, and you need a break. You don't want to I love
- 43:22the fact and I and I and I'm very unless it's important or just real
- 43:27quick, anybody I'm dating, man, leave me alone when I'm at work,
- 43:30Yes, leave me alone while I'm creating. This is like my space.
- 43:34And then also like yo, when you out creating or you with your
- 43:37girls, like I'm not gonna be sending you a bunch of text messages and
- 43:42you out with your girls, like, hey, what time when you I'm
- 43:45gonna let you kick it have fun and I have to worry about me.
- 43:49I think that's what more Zach is saying, like you need everybody needs time
- 43:52apart, and maybe maybe the s is what he's saying is and look,
- 43:57I've done it. I've been a long distance relationships where on the phone,
- 44:00FaceTime, all of that is sweet. And then when you spend about four
- 44:05days with the person you like, ooh ooh like man like I need I
- 44:10need a little bit more time apart. I think that's more. I said,
- 44:14your girlfriend need to be in jail. That's what he says. He
- 44:15said why she was jail? Why she was he saying why she was locked
- 44:22up? And all I can do I probably everything ain't forever though, man,
- 44:30hey, everything I can't have emotionally, If Remy and Pappoos break up,
- 44:36I can't. I'm gonna need a week off because I can't do this
- 44:39too much. Don't know this to be true? First, No, we
- 44:44don't, don't need We don't know what to be true. She was dressed
- 44:46like the dude though, and can't. I can't. They did look like
- 44:50they was going a greater bear and there's a lot of you came to it.
- 44:53I can't do it. It's a lot of bearables in relationships. That's
- 44:57a wild You gotta like your partner, you do. They shouldn't irritate you
- 45:01when you see your partner name on your phone. I didn't say, I
- 45:04didn't say they irritated you're putting all these words of my mouth. I never
- 45:07said irritating. I've just said that there's a lot more constant communication. What
- 45:10I'm trying to say is in in twenty years of maybe our great grandparents being
- 45:15together, they may have seen each other, let's say, two thousand hours
- 45:20in there twenty years. What I'm saying now is within twenty years i'm seeing
- 45:23each other, we've seen each other fifteen thousand hours. That's true. If
- 45:28that's what I'm saying, it's like the time spent, not that you're less,
- 45:30it's just like it's just been together much longer. If you put the
- 45:35time and people used to literally go to work, split up, when't talk
- 45:37to each other for nine hours, and then come back and see each other
- 45:40for four hours and you know they had something to talk about. Yeah,
- 45:44you know didn't. Didn't in those total amount of hours, even though it
- 45:46was longer years, you may have spent it. You may have been with
- 45:50each other less time. So kicking you like you a big ten, like
- 45:53spent every way? Get moments? Absolutely not. We don't spit like y'all
- 45:58text all day. No, but you what the hell are you talking about
- 46:00this? But like, so what that's this is a cap. All you
- 46:07gotta do is a cap. Man is on the cap, moved she has
- 46:13been. I'm just calling the people. It's the lady. That's the lady
- 46:20talking to the lady. I just feel like you gotta like your partner exact
- 46:25this sound like he liked whatever, because like why he was. I don't
- 46:29want your calling me texted me, was using all of those things, the
- 46:35examples of what they didn't have in the past and why there's more communication now.
- 46:38That's all I was saying. I said that you didn't like him.
- 46:42Jesus Christ, this is the gold Post. You talking about me moving to
- 46:45gold Post. You you took the gold Post down. Like after the Colorado
- 46:49game, you said some crazy stuff. This pot key key we should have
- 46:54known get into fashion houses. Nah, that was wild. I didn't mean
- 46:59that was that was a reach. But what I didn't need is that you
- 47:05when they set to go public with it's a it's more to it than just
- 47:09I like this person. I like this person, and I don't care what
- 47:12y'all saying. I know Jessy's your friend. That relationship between him and Jeannie
- 47:15my was fake, and I don't care what y'all saying, I don't believe
- 47:19it was fake. I think, but we'll never know. Jenny, Mine's
- 47:22gonna have to say something. Jesus never gonna say nothing. I'm talking,
- 47:24he said a lot. You got his caption he found this man found for
- 47:30divorce, put up a post on Instagram. It's like my life to fly
- 47:34to worry about the way I'm going and who's going with me? He shaded
- 47:37that lady so bad. So yeah, but I'm saying as far as like
- 47:40really like saying, like yo, she was tweaking. She was sending sex
- 47:45messages to Mario Lopez, which is crazy. I don't know if that's true.
- 47:50That's what that's that's a lay. But I am gonna say this,
- 47:52and it bothered me that she said she keep her dark meat on the side,
- 47:54exactly white in the middle. Come home, man, and you don't
- 47:58have it at trap up a year gold times. You think he fell in
- 48:02love with that for real? For real? Because with me and you don't
- 48:05understand me and our emotional we fall in love the woman game, you know
- 48:09what I'm saying. Me and we'll fall for it. We fall, we
- 48:14fall, man. You gotta understand. That's why Kim Kardashian will never be
- 48:16alone. I saw him gotta have a fire and she got games. Okay.
- 48:22I saw a meme where it's hid. It was the cucumber salads.
- 48:27Yeah, this was the final straw. He was eating a cucumber salad.
- 48:31Like when you see je trap of your full times eating a cucumber salad,
- 48:37you thought it was real. He's growing. I know my trappers. When
- 48:42they started putting on glasses like yours, wearing little bits and suits, going
- 48:45you're going to court, so you put on your little glasses and you,
- 48:50you know, put all your little church outfit. And Jez had on his
- 48:52glasses in his church outfit. This entire relationship now, I hope we can
- 48:55go back to who we know. It was all fake and I don't care
- 48:59what y'all say. He had on his glasses in his suit. Okay.
- 49:05And then and then here's before we get out of here, gets some final
- 49:07thoughts. There's a last little moment here, Xavier Howard, you part in
- 49:13the day, Kike. Xavier Howard allegedly has four women pregnant at the same
- 49:16time he plays for the Miami Dolphins. Okay, he's what's what's wrong?
- 49:20With him, something wrong with him. Yeah, you don't make enough money
- 49:22to be doing that for the Dolphins. You your NFL. You trying to
- 49:29say the NFL people don't make no money. Four different women, four babies
- 49:34now and he got about to pay track sports simultaneously. You know, you
- 49:37have been a very smart man about you tell me every decade that sometimes said
- 49:44every day you're smart. You come out out, give yourself a little time,
- 49:50getting used to it, find some new sorts, get yourself together,
- 49:55yourself a new contract. You don't. Yes, that's how you're doing that.
- 50:04You think this man, he's sitting there one done, get one off
- 50:07the books, the problem all the time, graduation. See that's crazy.
- 50:13No, you got it off the both on my way. One is on
- 50:15the way off, one on the way of one off. You know,
- 50:19but you're good. I don't know how to do it. You taught us
- 50:21that, so you got he he ain't got enough time to put his glasses
- 50:23on the rebrand. How you gonna have all folk going to college at the
- 50:27same time? Offer and you're working out for NFL money and you know that
- 50:30don't last. He's been there here in Miami, man, I feel bad
- 50:35for that brother. Man in Miami. You play for the Dolphins. The
- 50:37Dolphins are good. The flesh is weak. That man could nah, you
- 50:42gotta be smarter than that. Xavier how Let me google it real quick.
- 50:45This is which is a shame. I'll be able to Xavian. Uh.
- 50:51Let's see. Let's look at looking up real quick salary. Uh. Oh
- 50:59he man, he rich, man, he rich. Xavian Howards signed a
- 51:05new five year contract worth ninety million dollars with the Dolphins. The contract has
- 51:09forty million, forty million and guarantees, with thirty six million is guaranteed at
- 51:16signing. So he signed. He got thirty six mill off the outright.
- 51:21His lifestyle probably take twenty at his agent's gonna take some of that. Tax
- 51:25is gonna take that. But you got fault, baby mamas. At some
- 51:29point you're gonna get locked up because one of them gonna gon gonna fumble the
- 51:31bag on you. They gonna go go bad on you. So after he
- 51:35gets done one with that, he gonna be in the world of trouble.
- 51:37That nine million dried up ninety million, You would you gotta unless the girls
- 51:42is like Nick Cannon girls, they're different. Nick Cannon found he got I
- 51:45don't know if they went through a Chick fil A training or what before they
- 51:49signed on to have his babies. But day you know, you gotta chick
- 51:52filate. There's never no fumbles a chick Filate. They my pleasure. Everybody
- 51:54happy food, always hot with with Nick Cannon all his baby mama's acting.
- 52:00So unlet's set your boy found him some of those he's gonna be in trouble.
- 52:05He in trouble, in trouble. I agree, he is in trouble.
- 52:08And the reason why, the reason I think he's in trouble is because
- 52:10he didn't make the smart enough decision to have for at one time, get
- 52:15four women pregnant at one time. That's me, you're doing some poor decision,
- 52:19man, Yeah, that's for You can't tell me that you you get
- 52:22four women pregnant at once, but then you just a financial group you shoot
- 52:27up for and you're having sex with fold iff women unprotected? Is wild?
- 52:31Every decade you gotta do it. It's that's that's a wild that's a wild
- 52:35lifestyle. That ain't you know? He's having sex? Yeah for that got
- 52:38pregnant. What about the other ones who didn't? You got it? Hey,
- 52:42Zamian, Bro, you gotta stay out. You gotta start off sliding,
- 52:45Bro, And I you know, I'm no shade. I don't know
- 52:46what's going on in Miami, but I don't. I know it's a lot
- 52:50of sex in Miami. Man, I don't, I don't. You can't
- 52:52have it. You're throwing your piece on the crap table like that. You
- 52:57put the naked fold Differ women is one. That's crazy. That's wild,
- 53:01and you're shooting the club up is nuts. Yep, you got a chill
- 53:07bro. Final Final Foals. Shout out to the pod film. They loved
- 53:14that we're back looking normal, even though I was messed up last episode.
- 53:19But you know, we're excited about what's coming for the pod. I know
- 53:22Tau has been working very hard on getting the merch so that should be coming
- 53:25soon. And then, you know, I would just like to say shout
- 53:30out to fifty Cents. I would like to really say, I know he
- 53:32old than I ever see this. Actually, fifty do be active on online
- 53:36so he might see this. But shout out to fifty cent. I want
- 53:38to see him in Chicago and it was amazing. Like they these other rappers,
- 53:43they need to really take notes from her fifty is coming with his show.
- 53:45He had twenty five outfit changes, the best of whatever DTL I had
- 53:50the offer. He had it all on. I'm talking about every track,
- 53:52cent, every shirt, every jacket. That man looked straight out of one
- 53:57of them video games and hit His set was crazy. So shout out to
- 54:00fifty cent and more. Rappers need to take notes Drake on how to put
- 54:05on a good entertaining Oh you shaded dressing it. Tour was horrible. I
- 54:09don't care what y'all saying. That tour was amazing. I like it.
- 54:15I'm a dan. The music was amazing because the music and I'm flying around
- 54:20was cool. I like that before. In thirty seconds of each song,
- 54:22he walked in circles, he caught brawls, he passed our shirts. He
- 54:24gave us an hour work for the DJ in the beginning, who was horrible,
- 54:28which happens to be his manager. Sorry sir, but you should stick
- 54:30to managing. Then he had the Virgil statue just standing there, didn't do
- 54:35nothing with it, just had it standing there. Then he had all these
- 54:37sperms flying around. He had lakes flying around, he had balloons, he
- 54:40had chuck and cheese. Mickey Mouse, who else was there? We didn't
- 54:44need to pull, and the stage had words around it. I liked it.
- 54:50Only thing that it could you be real today. I can be real
- 54:52today and say that I enjoyed that. I enjoyed myself because of Drake's music
- 54:58and his catalog carried him. But as far as a stage show, it
- 55:01was very basic. And you went to fifty and then I went to fifty.
- 55:05Fifty was amazing. The only thing about fifty is I want fifty to
- 55:07get a real stylist. What he don't know, he'll know. Okay,
- 55:12so you think that I'll fit coming out there with them white shirts and them
- 55:15ankle socks. You know what I can listen. I've been so funny.
- 55:19You say this. I said this at the concert. I said this at
- 55:22the concert. I said one thing I like about fifty. He'd been dressing
- 55:24the same way since when he came out. When he first came out,
- 55:29he dressed the same way every phase. We go through, skinny jeans,
- 55:31he ain't never went none of the weir. He't dressed like a strong dude
- 55:35in the gym. Yeah, you dressed like a swoll Okay, that's what
- 55:40he got fast dude fast swore like everything got fit my arms and my chest
- 55:50and shoulders, and then like, how your legs have ankle socks on on
- 55:54fifty? We don't. He just came home. He's like, he just
- 56:02came home from they got there. It was the part where he came back
- 56:07out too, so he had left after after the end of the club he
- 56:12left and then they was like, y'all want more fifty, and they was
- 56:14like yeah, and he came back out and I'm short, I said,
- 56:16what the hell does man? You hate no fifty? That's crazy that man
- 56:22out Yeah. Best, but his show, his show was amazing top to
- 56:25bottom, and he's got like, first of all, he actually performs the
- 56:30whole song yeah, giving you energy throughout the entire thing. And he had
- 56:34he got hits that you forgot about, and you'd be like, Damn,
- 56:36I forgot fifty was on that. Damn I forgot fifty was on that.
- 56:37I know he ain't got no more songs, shit boom he was. He
- 56:40hit us with his stuff, man, and then had his like his shows
- 56:45that he's produced on you can tell it was like a full circle moment.
- 56:47Yeah, you know what I'm saying. For fifty like, man, this
- 56:50is my last two It was something worth if you're a fan of hip hop
- 56:53and you was that you know that eighth grade kid back in OH three,
- 56:59the tank tops on the unit sneakers. It was a full circle moment for
- 57:02you, man, Like, I really appreciate him. Now he do need
- 57:05to add a little black pepper to his dancing crew. But other than that,
- 57:08he had a black women up there. Yeah I didn't see. I
- 57:10actually squinting because I think the lighting made one black girl looks just light.
- 57:15But he got to add a little just a little black pepper to the mix.
- 57:17Everything else was great. Okay, I'm mad I missed the show.
- 57:22I definitely wanted to see it, big time fifty fan. And this is
- 57:24the thing, and that's why people are saying stuff about hip hop. They
- 57:28are talking about hip hop because after Drake, after these kin drags, after
- 57:32you know, you got Travis Scott. But we need records, you need
- 57:37real records. We need we need artistry. We need people that can make
- 57:42put on a hole entire show like fifty cent is. I mean, you
- 57:45can't really compare everybody to fifty cent, but I'm saying, like, yo,
- 57:49like when you see a person like fifty cent, and then you think
- 57:52about what's coming. You're like you, we're gonna be able to ten years,
- 57:57sit and listen to x X artist for an hour and thirty minutes of
- 58:02material hit records, because that's the thing a lot of people don't. They
- 58:07gotta remember. You gotta have hit records to be remembered, like a lot
- 58:09of them. And fifty got him, Kendricks got him, Jake Cole's got
- 58:15him, Drake's got him, Future's got him. Babies got a few.
- 58:17But that's why I was giving the next two. I figured I was banking
- 58:22on little baby, Little baby. I feel I can carry us if he
- 58:27gotta come on though I don't know what's going on as of lately, but
- 58:30he I felt like he had it. I think they, I think you
- 58:34know what I want, the truth, what y'all want? You quiet phone,
- 58:37I think I think they. I think they Rush should get back on
- 58:39tour because the music doesn't make the money. That's the fast true. Now,
- 58:43that's the thing that I do think with the young artists, the music
- 58:46doesn't make the streaming has made that. You just hearing a lot of artists
- 58:50talk about it all the time. I know we said about it, let
- 58:52leave the pop. But you you hear it all the time about streaming and
- 58:55how it's robbing people really like literally robbing people. You here, they're like,
- 59:00yo, they didn't miss the game up stream and mess the game up.
- 59:02Yeah, more people are hearing your music that for you can go out
- 59:06and streat, you can go out and get some two of money. But
- 59:08as far as like, rappers are not hitting the scene like that anymore.
- 59:14No, But I had to think ab I was gonna say, because it's
- 59:15not a dis to the little Baby. I didn't want it to sound like
- 59:17I was dising a little baby because I'm a fan of Little Baby. But
- 59:21rappers are not hitting the scene like that. When when fifty came out,
- 59:23that's all we listened to, That's all we cared about was fifty cent.
- 59:28When when when Gez came out, that was it. In every car run,
- 59:31every car was playing Geez. And that's why it was. You need
- 59:35music that's gonna resonate for that long. Okay, ye to the point where
- 59:38we know every word. Twenty years later, Jeez still performed Trap or Die
- 59:44the first off the first record, and we hear it, we're going up.
- 59:47Yeah, that doesn't happen anymore. Artists are not hip hop artists at
- 59:52least are not coming out with that much impact because some of what I'm saying
- 59:57is this, It's what you missed my point, bro. It's when I
- 1:00:00said that they are rushing to get back on tour, so they're making the
- 1:00:05music faster to try to get back out to make some more money because they
- 1:00:09can't make money at all. It was just online they said Fifty when he
- 1:00:13came out with his album, I think it was get Rich and Died Trying.
- 1:00:15And if you ever look at the back of well he can't look at
- 1:00:17the back of it, but Get richarde Trying. Fifty had a lot of
- 1:00:21people to pay because he was getting out of a deal before that, so
- 1:00:23he had a lot of people to pay off before even saw some money.
- 1:00:28And I forgot who said it, but they were like, fifty had recouped
- 1:00:30his whole entire album and everything that they invested in him by six months into
- 1:00:36the album because of the physical sales. But he had made all the money
- 1:00:40already from physical sales. That's the thing. Artists were making money on physical
- 1:00:46sales. Whatever that money was, it's physical sales. Same thing like while
- 1:00:51you see r O Day talk about what Diddy gave back, get he gave
- 1:00:54the publishing back. She like, yo, we get we might have a
- 1:00:59million streams or whatever it is, and they're getting eight hundred dollars. Puff
- 1:01:05had already made the money on the physical sales of their album, because they
- 1:01:09still want part of physical sales. So if you even I forgot who said
- 1:01:13it, they want Joe Bunden's podcast, I can't remember, but he said,
- 1:01:16hey man, music all messed up anyway. You can't make no money
- 1:01:20with music. You can't make no money with streaming. That's what this is
- 1:01:23what's gonna make. It's gonna be interesting to me to watch how things move
- 1:01:29now because everybody's watching these streaming situations not make people money and the companies are
- 1:01:38thriving, but the artists are getting like a point something percent on a dollar.
- 1:01:44Same thing with the writers every They gotta figure that out. It's just
- 1:01:47that's just that's just kind of I'm not gonna say that that's not true,
- 1:01:51but when I'm talking about it is from an artists standpoint, the artistry itself
- 1:01:54is not as strong to where we all care as much as we did and
- 1:01:59he's saying it, but I said it because they're using they don't have the
- 1:02:01time to put it together because they're trying to rush to get back on tour.
- 1:02:07That's what he's saying. Like Drake just pushed his album back because he
- 1:02:09wants to finish this tour right, because the album is not a priority as
- 1:02:14much as the touring is. Because you're making money off the touring, the
- 1:02:16merch that's how they feed their families. Streaming pays your company. You don't
- 1:02:22you think about getting think about it. Spotify is a music company. Just
- 1:02:27listen to this. Spotify is a music company. I'm just trying to Spotify
- 1:02:30a music company. They gave Joe Rogan something crazy to to stream on there.
- 1:02:37Now if that make that make their money off of the artistry, off
- 1:02:43the arts, all of those artists that they've been streaming millions and millions and
- 1:02:45millions and times, and the artists made pennies on the dollar and Joe Rogan
- 1:02:50a ten million whatever it mean, a hundred million, that's what they're saying
- 1:02:53that. I just think that they're getting back on the road faster than make
- 1:02:57it because they got to feed it. Fami, thank you, Okay,
- 1:03:01even with that. But that's what I'm saying exactly, You're never gonna get
- 1:03:07that impact yet you will, you will if you sign the right artists and
- 1:03:09we go through artists development again, that that will actually matter where you actually
- 1:03:15get people that people want to hear, opposed to getting people who are hot.
- 1:03:20And that's that's more of a record label focus in my In my point,
- 1:03:22I get what y'all saying about it. I'm not saying what y'all saying
- 1:03:24ain't true. But let me tell you what'sn't it these we we've had people
- 1:03:30who don't they're not getting no development. They coming straight out and if you
- 1:03:34got a hit record, we're putting it out and then they can't follow up.
- 1:03:37The music just don't match. We literally was get rich Dy trying.
- 1:03:40We was listening to that from front too, because it was a well put
- 1:03:45together project with lots of thought, lots of money, lots of There will
- 1:03:51never be they will never happen again, is what he's saying. Is because
- 1:03:53there is no time for people. Labels sign you and put you out in
- 1:03:59weeks and they don't. They're not making the money. If I get that,
- 1:04:03I'm not arguing that Okay, is this art? Is this just hip
- 1:04:06hop? Or is this other genre? It's other genres too that the pop
- 1:04:11world. They can't find a hit to say their life. Okay, paper
- 1:04:14ain't got no hit, uh Ariana Grande. They all doing other things because
- 1:04:18the music doesn't make them any money. That's why everybody's selling their catalog because
- 1:04:21they've already made the money that they're gonna make off of music. So Nelly
- 1:04:28new to sell his catalog because no matter how much you're streaming, you ain't
- 1:04:30adding nothing to him. So let him. He made the money back then
- 1:04:33that he can make off of it. Now he's gonna take this lump sung
- 1:04:36because music is there. Katie Perry just saw her stream her uh what they
- 1:04:41call catalog. Jessin Bieber saw his catalog. They're selling it because they're selling
- 1:04:46it because they can't make money off of Here's the thing. If they're well,
- 1:04:49I guess what I'm asking, So why would I put so much detail
- 1:04:51into something I can't make no money off of. That's what we're saying.
- 1:04:55That's what you do as an artist. But I guess what I'm saying is
- 1:04:58this. It's the streaming platforms said we we've we've cut billion dollars checks h
- 1:05:04to these platforms. They've they've come out and said, hey, yeah,
- 1:05:08you might be only getting a cent off of it, but we cut a
- 1:05:12billion dollars check to Sony. I'm just using that as an example. You
- 1:05:15know what I'm saying, we cut this much too, such and such.
- 1:05:18The deals are the ones they're they're fucked up within the deals. The record.
- 1:05:24The reason they're still buying catalogs is because if it wasn't worth nothing,
- 1:05:27would nobody give you two hundred million for it. The reason they're buying it
- 1:05:30is because they can still make money off they can The record labels are making
- 1:05:35money off the streams. So let's not say that the streaming it's just not
- 1:05:39coming. Whatever the deal is, it's not coming back to the artists.
- 1:05:43By time you get to the artists, it's down to a penny. We
- 1:05:45got close, running out of time. Yeah we can close. I'm sorry.
- 1:05:49Thought. Final thought? Uh Share the pod Washington Pod sharing it again?
- 1:05:56Like it, like it? Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe and you already
