- 0:35Speaker 1: And then bald Willie C goes four and one. Does
- 0:38Speaker 1: he keep the hair? Does he not keep the hair?
- 0:40Speaker 1: All those answers will be given to you on the show.

- 2:12Speaker 4: the parlay winner card.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Do you have the card? Do you want me to
- 2:16Speaker 2: read the car card.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Do you don't have the card?
- 2:18Speaker 4: I have the card and it says plus one hundred
- 2:20Speaker 4: ninety four thousand, three and two odds six dollars six
- 2:24Speaker 4: dollars the one at the eleven thousand, six hundred and sixty.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Four with picks.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Toledo at Bowling Green, Houston at they took the over
- 2:31Speaker 4: on Toledo Bowling Green, the over on Houston, Oklahoma State,
- 2:35Speaker 4: and they took the under in nine different games Miami
- 2:38Speaker 4: and Akron, UCLA at Michigan State's, Stanford, SMU, Louisiana JMU, Alabama, Missouri,
- 2:45Speaker 4: Washington State, Old miss UCF, Cincinnati, Charlotte, Army, Ohio State, Illinois.
- 2:51Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 2:52Speaker 1: It's nuts. Every time every week we get one of
- 2:55Speaker 1: these cars and Fandel's like, look what this person did.
- 2:57Speaker 2: And I'm thinking, well, what point can we be that.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Six to win eleven thousand plus. I see several of
- 3:03Speaker 5: these games, like Bama Missouri total was fifty one and
- 3:05Speaker 5: a half. It hit fifty one, so you're winning eleven
- 3:09Speaker 5: k plus by half a point. I don't even know
- 3:11Speaker 5: how the rest of these panned out. I would know
- 3:13Speaker 5: I was at that game and it almost landed perfectly
- 3:15Speaker 5: on side end total.
- 3:16Speaker 4: And this gentleman's watching Missoo had the ball yep, trying
- 3:21Speaker 4: to go get some points on the board, sweating it out.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, good for him. Good good for you, Bro,
- 3:26Speaker 2: Good for you, FanDuel.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Did you talked about Missouri Alabama? How was the game?
- 3:31Speaker 2: How many chow?
- 3:32Speaker 6: I gave it?
- 3:33Speaker 5: Three chalaia Michigan Nebraska? Exactly, very close game, very competitive,
- 3:40Speaker 5: good environment. Eleven am kickoff, which means you're back home
- 3:42Speaker 5: by the time the six o'clock games kickoff.
- 3:44Speaker 2: That's nice.
- 3:45Speaker 6: That was a good Sat.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Every Colors football kid when they finished the games earlier.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I can't wait to get home and want six pm kickoff.
- 3:50Speaker 1: There's nothing else to do. Yeah, I didn't go out
- 3:52Speaker 1: with the boys or nothing.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:54Speaker 6: No.
- 3:54Speaker 5: How are we feeling, gentlemen, Well below five hundred, that's
- 3:57Speaker 5: how I feel. I don't know how you two feel,
- 3:59Speaker 5: but I feel eighteen and nineteen.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I see, you know, four to one last week, three
- 4:02Speaker 4: and two weeks before, three and two weeks before, just
- 4:04Speaker 4: three winning weeks in a row. Everybody's starting to call
- 4:07Speaker 4: this separation Saturday.
- 4:09Speaker 5: People think three and two is bad. Three and two
- 4:11Speaker 5: sixty percent? You go sixty percent over the course of
- 4:14Speaker 5: your life. You own this building and that building and
- 4:17Speaker 5: several other buildings and companies named after you and Matt
- 4:20Speaker 5: Rule's not going anywhere because no one can afford the buyout.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Yeah for you, Yeah, that's crazy. There's second weeks.
- 4:26Speaker 2: That's what you want.
- 4:27Speaker 6: It's five is just no.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I knew this cliff was coming. I think I said
- 4:32Speaker 1: it a couple weeks before that. There's no way I
- 4:33Speaker 1: can keep going. The things are gonna keep going this well.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I talked about it. I never truly prepared for it.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So this week has been a it's been a gauntlet
- 4:41Speaker 1: of a mental week for me, just trying to figure
- 4:42Speaker 1: out where I stand, who I want to be.
- 4:44Speaker 6: At the end of the day.
- 4:45Speaker 2: It's like, you just gotta keep trusting yourself. But shout
- 4:47Speaker 2: out to people who faded you. It's hard.
- 4:49Speaker 4: It's look, it's harder to go zero and five just
- 4:52Speaker 4: as hard as it is to go five and oh yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 4: So the people that faded you, they're celebrating. They can't
- 4:57Speaker 4: wait to see what you're gonna pick this week.
- 4:58Speaker 1: The problem for those people is I been above five
- 5:01Speaker 1: hundred so much. A lot of people are probably like, go, Pa,
- 5:03Speaker 1: I should follow this guy. So if anything I hurt
- 5:05Speaker 1: some people out there this week, it'd be I would
- 5:08Speaker 1: not suggest fading me this week.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I would not suggest that this seems like a strong week.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Generational talent, it's right up here and you.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Can get him at bwtv dot com.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Generational Picker, Say generational Picker. There you go.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Yeah, Josh, is there anything going on in the college
- 5:24Speaker 4: world that we should know about going into the show
- 5:26Speaker 4: Penn State?
- 5:27Speaker 2: And you've learned in between your show last night to
- 5:30Speaker 2: this morning.
- 5:31Speaker 5: So yes, I think a lot of jobs are going
- 5:34Speaker 5: to open up. We've been hinting at that, some would
- 5:37Speaker 5: say fairly strongly over the past couple of weeks. I e.
- 5:40Speaker 5: There's a game in Auburn, Alabama, this weekend. I think
- 5:42Speaker 5: you're going to talk about Missouri a little bit later
- 5:44Speaker 5: to some degree. If Missouri goes down there to Auburn
- 5:47Speaker 5: and wins, all that noise that was around Penn State
- 5:50Speaker 5: could be around Auburn. I really, frankly don't care what
- 5:55Speaker 5: Florida does against Mississippi State, although I do lean Bulldogs.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Plus the points, which we'll.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Also talk about later, there's going to be noise around
- 6:02Speaker 5: Florida no matter what I think some people have dug
- 6:04Speaker 5: in the past and realized Jimbo Fisher's last game at
- 6:06Speaker 5: A and M was a win against Mississippi State, and
- 6:09Speaker 5: he still got fired because they weren't waiting to see
- 6:11Speaker 5: what Jimbo did against MSU. They were waiting for the
- 6:14Speaker 5: bye week that followed MSU, just like Florida's got to
- 6:17Speaker 5: buy after they play Mississippi State. So you got some
- 6:21Speaker 5: noise in Penn State right now, I think you're imminently
- 6:23Speaker 5: going to have some noise in the SEC. Which means
- 6:26Speaker 5: if you're sitting there and you're the head coach at
- 6:27Speaker 5: Payton State, which you would never leave, But if theoretically
- 6:30Speaker 5: you wanted to leave, and you knew Penn State wanted you,
- 6:32Speaker 5: but you also knew maybe the Auburn job comes open,
- 6:35Speaker 5: maybe the Florida job comes open, maybe some jobs we're
- 6:37Speaker 5: not even talking about right now but that are also pretty.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Big or going to come open.
- 6:40Speaker 5: You're in no hurry because you know that there's going
- 6:43Speaker 5: to be more demand, which means the market and your
- 6:46Speaker 5: price is going to get driven up. And maybe you
- 6:48Speaker 5: don't leave, but maybe best case scenario, you make me
- 6:50Speaker 5: pay you a ton more money to stay maybe I
- 6:52Speaker 5: fill your nil coffers a little bit more. Maybe I
- 6:54Speaker 5: give you a bigger support staff and salary pool. All
- 6:57Speaker 5: of these things are in play right now. It bores
- 6:59Speaker 5: some people. Some people like this stuff more than the
- 7:02Speaker 5: games themselves. Those those are sick people. But there are
- 7:04Speaker 5: people like that out there the hot seat crowd.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Are there games that people aren't necessarily thinking about at
- 7:10Speaker 4: the moment.
- 7:10Speaker 2: They could be taking place this weekend.
- 7:12Speaker 4: They could start a domino effect for potential chaos. Well, like,
- 7:17Speaker 4: if you sit back, you not talking to anybody else,
- 7:20Speaker 4: but you sit back, you're watching the entire college football
- 7:22Speaker 4: landscape playout. You're like, oh, what if this team loses
- 7:24Speaker 4: this weekend? I wonder if noise will get loud around
- 7:26Speaker 4: this program.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Well, we don't like bringing up irresponsible talking points on
- 7:29Speaker 5: this show. We echo them once they're already out there.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Yeah, so I think let's pretend late night. It's eleven
- 7:35Speaker 4: thirty at night. We just got them playing video games.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Taylor's parents are yelling at us to go to bed,
- 7:39Speaker 4: and we're kind of just sitting around talking about well,
- 7:43Speaker 4: no one can hear us, no one's listening to us,
- 7:45Speaker 4: and you just drop a question of hey, what if
- 7:48Speaker 4: this happens and.
- 7:48Speaker 6: We're like, no way.
- 7:52Speaker 5: If Washington shut up, goes into ann Arbor and beats Michigan,
- 7:57Speaker 5: it's going to not be good. And I think it's
- 8:00Speaker 5: ironic that there's been one chair on this set that
- 8:03Speaker 5: is given constant noise to another chair on this set
- 8:05Speaker 5: about losing that chair's head coach that all of a
- 8:08Speaker 5: sudden could have to deal with rumors and innuendo and
- 8:11Speaker 5: outright reports about their own head coach if they fall
- 8:14Speaker 5: to Washington. Model loves Michigan. Model doesn't think it's going
- 8:17Speaker 5: to happen. But you know what, the model kind of
- 8:19Speaker 5: sort of thought Penn State would take care of Northwestern
- 8:21Speaker 5: last week and they didn't. So once Lincoln Riley has
- 8:24Speaker 5: run all over you, are you really confident about any?
- 8:27Speaker 5: Are you really confident about anything?
- 8:30Speaker 2: That's the question.
- 8:31Speaker 6: All right, we can lean back. Mike's back on. We're
- 8:33Speaker 6: back on the red.
- 8:34Speaker 1: This should be the point of the sleepover. When I'm
- 8:36Speaker 1: in my sleeping bag, I knew I should have never
- 8:39Speaker 1: invited him. You should never, You should never can join
- 8:41Speaker 1: friend groups, zipp zip all the way. Hey, good talk.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Maybe my dad was right. We should go to sleep but.
- 8:46Speaker 4: It's not gonna happen, right and I'm in my sleeping
- 8:48Speaker 4: bag from the sleep mask on.
- 8:54Speaker 6: There's no.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Look at that Washington, Washington and Washington plus five ticket
- 9:01Speaker 5: in his hand right now.
- 9:02Speaker 6: He knows something. Someone knows something.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I'll show my comment when he's done laughing.
- 9:08Speaker 6: Give him a second.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Here's the thing that you said that worries me is foundationally,
- 9:16Speaker 1: what is Michigan. It's a hard nose, tough football of
- 9:19Speaker 1: tough running football team who get to play great.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Defense and make you quit. And after last.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Weekend, I'm a human being just like everybody else. You
- 9:28Speaker 1: see that happening, You're like, well, can that happen again?
- 9:30Speaker 2: Can this am? I is Washington capable of doing that?
- 9:34Speaker 1: They got a hell of a wide receiver, they got
- 9:35Speaker 1: a hell of a quarterback, great running back. I mean
- 9:39Speaker 1: they were in the game with Ohio State and multiple
- 9:43Speaker 1: trips of the red zone only came away six points.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Like those are the things that make me nervous now,
- 9:51Speaker 1: things that should make you feel good. Though, Washington, they
- 9:53Speaker 1: haven't been the best at getting off to a fast start.
- 9:55Speaker 2: That's true.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That is true. The last two weeks, Wisconsin goes down
- 10:00Speaker 1: drives and scores, UFC goes down and drives and scores
- 10:03Speaker 1: on their first drives and then we tighten.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Well, look, Washington doesn't listen.
- 10:07Speaker 1: And I can't believe I'm arguing for my team. I'm
- 10:10Speaker 1: just telling if we're sitting here and we're technically still
- 10:12Speaker 1: on the sleepover and nobody's watching the show, Yeah, I'm
- 10:15Speaker 1: a little concerned.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I'm a little nervous.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Because two years ago on my chest is bigger than
- 10:20Speaker 1: ever talking about a national championship.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Now we're talking about losing.
- 10:23Speaker 1: A watch at home, off the record, off the record,
- 10:27Speaker 1: and the other potential head coach hot seat, and it's like,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you lose this game. If there's another individual over here
- 10:34Speaker 1: who're not gonna name, who's worried about losing their head coach,
- 10:37Speaker 1: these are two totally different reasons. I'm worried about losing
- 10:39Speaker 1: my boy because someone higher up than me goes, that's
- 10:43Speaker 1: not good enough. As the other hand, my other boy,
- 10:46Speaker 1: he's looking at his guy going, please don't leave, because
- 10:49Speaker 1: you are good enough. Two both both scary, both different,
- 10:53Speaker 1: both scary not leave all one'm talking about you?
- 10:57Speaker 2: You who are you talking about?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Well, a couple weeks ago you said the Billy Nape
- 11:00Speaker 1: or he's a homie. If you had a beer with him,
- 11:02Speaker 1: you'd love him more than anybody.
- 11:03Speaker 6: You're talking about.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Oh you don't want to you're talking about us. Go
- 11:07Speaker 2: you got you got you?
- 11:08Speaker 6: Did you think he was going about.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Just to address you're nervous. I'm not nervous Bred Nebraska,
- 11:15Speaker 2: not nervous whatsoever, not at all.
- 11:17Speaker 4: No, Nebraska. I think I think it's the car. I
- 11:19Speaker 4: think it's all I think again, I've said it. I
- 11:21Speaker 4: think it's all very real. I just think Nebraska is
- 11:24Speaker 4: gonna they'll wake up. They'll hear they'll hear what the
- 11:26Speaker 4: what are wallets? Yeah, they'll hear what our guy wants.
- 11:30Speaker 4: They'll hear him loud and clear.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Do you get nervous that Raola goes he's not going
- 11:34Speaker 1: anywhere talking about your coach, but didn't say anything about him.
- 11:39Speaker 6: No, No, I don't. I don't listen. No, you don't.
- 11:42Speaker 5: You're like, you're like Alice Golis. You don't even you
- 11:45Speaker 5: don't have time to let Yeah, we're focused on the Gophers.
- 11:48Speaker 4: You talk about the hottest head coach right now, being
- 11:51Speaker 4: talked about across the board everybody, and you get Friday
- 11:53Speaker 4: night lights on national television to gets the Minnesota Gophers,
- 11:55Speaker 4: a team we have beats in twenty sixteen at Minnesota.
- 11:58Speaker 6: Come on, your.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Noise is only gonna get louder and that like it
- 12:02Speaker 4: doesn't make everybody uncomfortable, sure, absolutely, but you have to
- 12:04Speaker 4: get as uncomfortable as possible in this situation to know
- 12:07Speaker 4: that Nebraska is going to have the biggest w coming
- 12:09Speaker 4: out of it at time.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I don't worry about will Compton when the pressure gets big,
- 12:13Speaker 1: because when you were at Nebraska ten win eleven win seasons,
- 12:16Speaker 1: you were fueled in fire, didn't have an nine big
- 12:21Speaker 1: ten championship appearances. Yeah, you were a guy that back
- 12:24Speaker 1: against the wall you swung. Yeah, everybody else the pressure,
- 12:29Speaker 1: I can't say that for them.
- 12:31Speaker 2: That's all right, that's why you know, that's all stand
- 12:33Speaker 2: at the forefront. That's why you stay at the four.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I stand at the front because they need you.
- 12:36Speaker 6: Now more than every Yeah.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Well you have met built Yeah beautiful.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It's be talking about Utah at BYU. Let's get in
- 12:43Speaker 2: some games separation Saturday.
- 12:45Speaker 1: You tall favorite three and a half total points in
- 12:47Speaker 1: the game is forty and a half. I'll be honest.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I saw American Primeval when it came out, he left
- 12:53Speaker 1: a bad taste in my mouth about a certain group
- 12:56Speaker 1: of people since then. So when I'm watching the Byu
- 12:59Speaker 1: film and might not be I might not seeing it
- 13:02Speaker 1: with clear vision whatever. The opposite of rosecar glasses are
- 13:05Speaker 1: see a quarterback that was number forty seven. I see
- 13:08Speaker 1: him in a little bit of a dog fight with
- 13:09Speaker 1: Arizona double overtime. And then I look at Utah, who
- 13:13Speaker 1: a couple weeks ago we sat there with him versus
- 13:15Speaker 1: Texas Tech, and You're like, one of these teams. You go,
- 13:18Speaker 1: what if one of these teams blows the other one
- 13:21Speaker 1: out and they just run away with everything? And essentially
- 13:24Speaker 1: that did happen. People forget that the game was ten
- 13:26Speaker 1: to three early in the fourth quarter and then it
- 13:28Speaker 1: became a blot with a backup quarterback. But I'm sitting
- 13:32Speaker 1: here and I'm just thinking about Utah. This guy's getting
- 13:36Speaker 1: my ass. He knows I'm week at the zero to five.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Give us a second, everybody at home, maybe just take
- 13:41Speaker 4: a moment now to subscribe.
- 13:42Speaker 2: If you're not subscribed, do you change your pick right now?
- 13:45Speaker 6: You know where you were going? Do you change your
- 13:47Speaker 6: pick right now? You got to think this through.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Do you believe in signs or do you believe that
- 13:52Speaker 5: things just randomly happened? Because you know Joaquin Phoenix and signs,
- 13:56Speaker 5: he's a signs guy. Mel Gibson had his faith question
- 13:59Speaker 5: test did a little bit, but you remember what happened
- 14:01Speaker 5: to Mell in the end.
- 14:03Speaker 2: What.
- 14:05Speaker 5: I don't want to spoil anything for you. I mean,
- 14:07Speaker 5: you need to go watch the movie. I'm just saying signs.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen signs.
- 14:11Speaker 5: The crops with the crops, well, the aliens too, Yeah,
- 14:15Speaker 5: mainly the aliens keep the momentum.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Got him, got him, got him.
- 14:20Speaker 6: Yeah, he's his body's down here, So that's a good sign.
- 14:23Speaker 6: Whoever you pick, I think is the.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I'm leaning Utah. I'm leaning Utah. But he laughs at me. Oh,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and now you're thinking that maybe I should go b Yu.
- 14:34Speaker 5: I need separation with you and you frankly, so I
- 14:37Speaker 5: want you to go brig him Young.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Have you been to a game in Brigham Young.
- 14:40Speaker 5: I've been to Utah. I've not been to b Yu.
- 14:43Speaker 5: I flew over Provo to get to Salt Lake. That
- 14:45Speaker 5: makes them sound like flabber Country.
- 14:47Speaker 6: It just so happens. Our approach brought us Ober provo.
- 14:50Speaker 5: So I saw the stadium from above, but I have
- 14:52Speaker 5: not been able to go there. Also, there is probably there,
- 14:55Speaker 5: definitely is. I can confirm some random, thick, mustached exact
- 15:00Speaker 5: I could have somewhere that wants this game not to
- 15:01Speaker 5: be called the Holy War anymore. So we just need
- 15:04Speaker 5: to publicly trash anybody that's trying to strip the name
- 15:06Speaker 5: Holy War from this game before we go the way
- 15:08Speaker 5: of the Red River Rivalry and whatever they call the
- 15:11Speaker 5: game in Jacksonville between George and Florida. Now, so this
- 15:14Speaker 5: is the Holy War. You saw American Prime Evil. This
- 15:17Speaker 5: is the Holy War. It's at BYU. BYU undefeated, Utah
- 15:23Speaker 5: already with a loss, and Utah still favored.
- 15:27Speaker 6: I thought you were what your.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Record says you were in college football. That's what the
- 15:30Speaker 5: chat tells me every week. How could this be common opponent?
- 15:33Speaker 1: BYU beat West Virginia thirty eight twenty four, Utah smacked
- 15:37Speaker 1: him forty eight fourteen.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Stop you, he's got Utah written all over it. Yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 2: it does. Where you going, I'm not picking yet. Where
- 15:46Speaker 2: are you going?
- 15:47Speaker 5: I'm going Utah minus the points. I thought BYU was
- 15:50Speaker 5: going to lose last week.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Josh you want to pick that up?
- 15:52Speaker 6: Yeah, let me pick this up.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Are you oz proman?
- 15:59Speaker 6: Gim it? Keep this?
- 16:00Speaker 2: You can know you can read it out loud.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Everyone knows.
- 16:04Speaker 5: I don't watch these teams. But let me ask you something.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Do you know what soaking is?
- 16:28Speaker 6: Oh? I know what soaking is? Utah minus three and
- 16:37Speaker 6: a half.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Here's your pick people in the show.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I asked Will where he's going, and he just like,
- 16:48Speaker 1: I got something for it. I'm thinking, you're not gonna
- 16:51Speaker 1: tell me where you're going because you'll steal on the show.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I'm thinking this motherfuckers, won't.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Just tell me. He's gatekeeping is before and one record against.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Me with your entire life, no full transparency, no secrets.
- 17:03Speaker 5: All of a sudden, we're in week eight, twenty twenty
- 17:05Speaker 5: five season. It's Utah BYU. That's when the veil goes up.
- 17:08Speaker 1: That's when you can't get can't get anything at Will.
- 17:10Speaker 1: But he's I picture twenty for the show starts you
- 17:13Speaker 1: before you get eat. It's tucking on the No, yeah
- 17:14Speaker 1: this one, don't touch this.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Don't touch this to the show.
- 17:17Speaker 5: We're not word Yeah, I'm laying the post.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I think b y U has also got a Gauntlet
- 17:25Speaker 1: coming up too, right, it's gonna be tougher than it
- 17:27Speaker 1: has been.
- 17:28Speaker 5: Yeah, they got Cincinnati, they got texts zones.
- 17:30Speaker 1: They're not No disrespect for the boys and Tucson. I
- 17:34Speaker 1: grew up in Arizona.
- 17:35Speaker 2: But they're not very good.
- 17:36Speaker 5: They're not very good, although they will cover against Houston
- 17:39Speaker 5: this weekend. But yes, they're not all that great. Second,
- 17:41Speaker 5: your staff out there, not all.
- 17:42Speaker 1: That great, not all that great, Tucson, not a little
- 17:44Speaker 1: nil f on there. Nicolo Ultra, they got this idea
- 17:48Speaker 1: play for an ultra superior bragging rights, superior bragging rights.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Show them a little thing because it doesn't have to
- 17:53Speaker 4: always be like these big long, donappy video games stuff
- 17:56Speaker 4: on the field. They could be as simple as a
- 17:58Speaker 4: rock paper Saiss. People have been watching us play rock
- 17:59Speaker 4: papers scissors. My record right now is four and two,
- 18:02Speaker 4: two and four. A lot of pressure. That was easy.
- 18:13Speaker 4: That's what we're talking for, That's what we're talking about.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Michelob Ultra, good barrier, light beer. I thought there was
- 18:20Speaker 4: no way you were gonna do the same thing again.
- 18:22Speaker 6: I knew you.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Were next game.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Yeah, you guys, are you you you talk board?
- 18:32Speaker 2: You tall across the board.
- 18:33Speaker 4: No, separation this week between US USC number twenty USC
- 18:39Speaker 4: at Notre Dame.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Notre Dame favored by nine and a half. That blows
- 18:43Speaker 2: one mind.
- 18:44Speaker 4: On the FanDuel sportsbook right now, nine and a half
- 18:47Speaker 4: favorites Notre Dame is the over under on this game
- 18:49Speaker 4: is sixty one and a half.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Do you have any notes?
- 18:53Speaker 6: Yeah, so I bring these in from the show that
- 18:55Speaker 6: I do the night before. These are not specifically I
- 18:57Speaker 6: got those two.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I got a too.
- 19:00Speaker 6: All right, do you have a paper? There we go,
- 19:04Speaker 6: let's pop the paper on this. All right?
- 19:06Speaker 5: Do we believe that last week was a statement? Did
- 19:09Speaker 5: USC make a statement or did they just look impressive?
- 19:13Speaker 4: I think USC didn't make a statement for themselves, But
- 19:17Speaker 4: I think if you're a fan of USC and you
- 19:19Speaker 4: watched this team, I think that was a good statement,
- 19:22Speaker 4: a good statement win for what people want to see
- 19:24Speaker 4: out of the USC Trojans.
- 19:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it was. I think it was just
- 19:27Speaker 5: really nice to see. It's a welcome change. We out
- 19:31Speaker 5: rushed Michigan. We were the most physical team on the
- 19:34Speaker 5: field against Michigan. These are things we haven't said about ourselves. True,
- 19:37Speaker 5: all right, you were also favored in the game. It
- 19:39Speaker 5: was in the coliseum. That's not where you make statements.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Where you make statements is on the road, as what's
- 19:44Speaker 5: the line has a nine and a half point dog
- 19:48Speaker 5: against a team that is physically your superior and they
- 19:51Speaker 5: just fully believe they'll be able to lean on you. Now,
- 19:54Speaker 5: this is a game that profiles as one of those
- 19:56Speaker 5: total is not high enough games USC number two passing
- 19:59Speaker 5: offense Notre Dame pass defense in the one hundreds. But
- 20:02Speaker 5: a lot of Notre Dame fans feel that's old news.
- 20:05Speaker 5: We've rectified it now. We've given up like twenty seven
- 20:08Speaker 5: points the last three games combined, which is less than
- 20:11Speaker 5: we gave up against an m in one game. Notre
- 20:13Speaker 5: Dame number PAS number nineteen pass offense, USC pass defense
- 20:17Speaker 5: in the one hundreds. So you got to ask, firstly,
- 20:19Speaker 5: is the Notre Dame defensive resurgence real number two? Leonard
- 20:23Speaker 5: moy Leonard Morgan's lemon is one of the best corner
- 20:26Speaker 5: wide receiver matchups that you'll see all year.
- 20:28Speaker 6: You'll see that one on Sundays for years to come.
- 20:31Speaker 5: If USC has edge there, then downstream, I think they
- 20:36Speaker 5: have edge and pass catching all night long, and I
- 20:38Speaker 5: think you find out maybe some of that Notre Dame
- 20:40Speaker 5: defensive resurgence was a mirage against bad teams. So that's
- 20:44Speaker 5: the first thing to watch. But the second thing to
- 20:46Speaker 5: watch is this is a we are Notre Dame game.
- 20:48Speaker 5: To me, this is a USC's coming. In all the
- 20:51Speaker 5: talk about passing and everything, We've still got price, we
- 20:54Speaker 5: still got love, We've still got Notre Dame's ethos, like
- 20:58Speaker 5: what we believe, who we are at our core, that
- 21:01Speaker 5: we should be able to use to lean. I believe
- 21:05Speaker 5: just enough about USC last week, and I believe just
- 21:09Speaker 5: enough about the year two improvement they've made defensively that
- 21:13Speaker 5: I don't think it's a runaway game for Notre Dame.
- 21:16Speaker 5: So if you're giving me the points with USC, I
- 21:18Speaker 5: will I'll say this softly, I'll believe in Lincoln Riley,
- 21:23Speaker 5: and I'll take the points with the USC.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I don't disagree with anything you just said. And to
- 21:29Speaker 1: just also, Notre Dame they run man more than everybody
- 21:33Speaker 1: in college football. And they had not only Lemon, but
- 21:35Speaker 1: that who's the other kid as well, the one that
- 21:37Speaker 1: was hurt. I came back Whatson, Kobe Lane, Jacobe Lane.
- 21:40Speaker 1: You're run man against both those guys all day long.
- 21:42Speaker 1: With way the quarterbacks throwing the ball. I just keep
- 21:45Speaker 1: seeing too high red zone Lemon break out on a
- 21:50Speaker 1: post route and just the quarterback putting a perfect ball
- 21:53Speaker 1: to Lemon against Michigan, and it broke my heart. And
- 21:56Speaker 1: if you're going to run man versus those guys the
- 21:57Speaker 1: whole time, I also agree with you. The thing that
- 22:00Speaker 1: gives me a little bit of pauses if we can this.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Week, Mindy to turn them off. Make sure again another
- 22:10Speaker 4: opportunity to subscribe. If you're not subscribing to the channel,
- 22:13Speaker 4: I see, I gotta stay in my chair.
- 22:16Speaker 5: I don't think you've done anything abnormal this week. I
- 22:18Speaker 5: think it's a different energy this week.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yea, Demons, this is the conjuring. This is everything,
- 22:25Speaker 1: Like we're gonna stand.
- 22:26Speaker 6: Up, you know what, you try to be festive this guy.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Yeah, we got to make the ship of them this week.
- 22:35Speaker 1: We're sitting here saying this is not a statement game,
- 22:37Speaker 1: but the emotional post postgame press conference on Lincoln Riley,
- 22:41Speaker 1: the whole team celebrating, jumping, the crowds going crazy. Can
- 22:46Speaker 1: they get up for an emotional win going multiple time zones?
- 22:49Speaker 1: That's I think that's the biggest question now with the points.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'm still gonna take USC because that's a lot, and
- 22:54Speaker 1: after what they did to Michigan, it's like, how do
- 22:57Speaker 1: you not believe at least some of that, sixty percent
- 23:00Speaker 1: of that and if if they could do sixty percent
- 23:03Speaker 1: of that, they keep it within ten points.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Playoff on the line for Notre Dame, playoff line for
- 23:07Speaker 5: line for both teams. But the USC this is not
- 23:10Speaker 5: a conference game for them, so they're still technically in
- 23:12Speaker 5: the Big Ten race. If they lose Saturday. Notre Dame
- 23:15Speaker 5: has no conference race to be in. They have no bailout.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Let's make sure we go win the conference. So this
- 23:19Speaker 5: is it for them, So they wouldn't know before Halloween
- 23:22Speaker 5: if they lose Saturday, we're not going to the playoff.
- 23:25Speaker 5: That does something to a man.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Yeah, just to go go off with you with that
- 23:30Speaker 4: defensive resurgence and Notre Dame, I feel like a lot
- 23:33Speaker 4: of teams when you're down, you're you're in more desperation
- 23:35Speaker 4: mode where you're throwing the ball more. If you look
- 23:36Speaker 4: at if you look at the stats of Notre Dame,
- 23:40Speaker 4: they've had three interceptions in the second half these last
- 23:42Speaker 4: couple of weeks, so.
- 23:44Speaker 2: They kind of run away with it. But going up
- 23:46Speaker 2: to that, you look at Notre Dame.
- 23:47Speaker 4: For HISUS boys, he was only fourteen to seven going
- 23:48Speaker 4: in a half time NC State, it was only ten
- 23:50Speaker 4: to seven going and a half time. Notre Dame's able
- 23:52Speaker 4: to lean on him get it going. Then obviously you're
- 23:54Speaker 4: force and throws. That's where a lot of the interception
- 23:56Speaker 4: moments come in. I think the USC team's for real.
- 23:59Speaker 4: I think they're very good team. I think Notre Dame
- 24:01Speaker 4: is a good team. But with nine and a half points, like,
- 24:03Speaker 4: I'm taking USC ten times out of ten.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I watched what happened at them versus Michigan. I called
- 24:08Speaker 4: what was gonna happen then versus Michigan. I saw what
- 24:11Speaker 4: happened with them when they lost to Illinois. Like, how
- 24:13Speaker 4: good this offense is. They have so many weapons, they
- 24:16Speaker 4: have a very good quarterback, as long as they can
- 24:18Speaker 4: get after a CJ. Carr a little bit along the
- 24:20Speaker 4: defensive front. The question mark is still can they run
- 24:23Speaker 4: the football as well as they did against Michigan against
- 24:25Speaker 4: Notre Dame.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I like uscre I love USC.
- 24:28Speaker 4: This is like, you know, I don't want to say
- 24:30Speaker 4: favorite pick of the week because I feel like that'll
- 24:31Speaker 4: be the absolute jinks.
- 24:32Speaker 1: My favorite pick of the week last week was Alabama Missouri. Yeah,
- 24:36Speaker 1: especially if you're going to go USC, I need this.
- 24:38Speaker 4: I just if you, if you've been watching USC, this
- 24:41Speaker 4: is a this is a good football team. They just
- 24:43Speaker 4: dropped one when they traveled again a couple of times
- 24:45Speaker 4: zones to Illinois. They're gonna be in the same situation
- 24:47Speaker 4: here with Notre Dame. This game is gonna be awesome.
- 24:49Speaker 4: But I like USC with the points re goo USC
- 24:52Speaker 4: plus the points.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Yeah, separation Saturdays really cook it up nicely. Right now,
- 24:56Speaker 2: Are you're reading to flip? No?
- 24:57Speaker 5: No, no, I'm just wanting to point out to the
- 24:58Speaker 5: audience the way college football's worked historically is this is
- 25:02Speaker 5: a trap spot, and this is where someone wins thirty
- 25:05Speaker 5: eight to ten historically. Okay, I had that factored in
- 25:08Speaker 5: and took USC even knowing that, because what I think
- 25:12Speaker 5: is if you believe that the sport has compacted, then
- 25:15Speaker 5: you're gonna have fewer runaway and hide type games. You're
- 25:18Speaker 5: gonna have fewer roster flex type games. And so I
- 25:21Speaker 5: actually think this is a spot where you're looking at
- 25:24Speaker 5: it and you know, like Vegas wants you on one
- 25:27Speaker 5: side and you're willingly going to that side. Historically, that's
- 25:31Speaker 5: a bad proposition. I actually think we've kind of passed
- 25:35Speaker 5: a curve right now, embedding logic to where maybe you're
- 25:38Speaker 5: the first to the party at knowing the side they
- 25:41Speaker 5: want you to be on. Conditionally maybe the side to
- 25:43Speaker 5: be on in some of these cases. I think this
- 25:45Speaker 5: may be one of those cases. I don't think this
- 25:46Speaker 5: is a Notre Dame runaway and hide type moment.
- 25:50Speaker 2: And look, Jordan's only throwing what two interceptions this year?
- 25:52Speaker 5: And remember Mayava threw two pick sixes in this game
- 25:56Speaker 5: last year. That USC the box scores crazy. I believe
- 26:00Speaker 5: the USC outgained Notre Dame and Notre Dame runs away
- 26:03Speaker 5: with the game because of defensive scoring, which counts, and
- 26:06Speaker 5: if you do it again this year, it'll count again
- 26:08Speaker 5: this year.
- 26:08Speaker 6: But models can't predict that.
- 26:10Speaker 5: They can't and it's totally randomized, so maybe you get
- 26:13Speaker 5: maybe get a different result on the road than USC
- 26:15Speaker 5: was even able to get at home.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Yeah, love of boys, we're there, We're here, LSU at Vanderbilt,
- 26:25Speaker 4: just down the road.
- 26:27Speaker 2: All the light two way.
- 26:29Speaker 5: Yeah, you're gonna walk, I think because it's powered by
- 26:32Speaker 5: quick trip. I'm gonna drive out of solidarity with my partners.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Bit, but I could walk, okay, Yeah, fair enough.
- 26:38Speaker 1: And I looked at this line and it makes sense.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Vanderbilt's favorite minus two and a half. The towel points
- 26:42Speaker 1: in that game is forty and a half. It's just
- 26:45Speaker 1: crazy to me, even though Vanderbilt's been good for a
- 26:46Speaker 1: couple of years now, to see them playing against the LSU,
- 26:49Speaker 1: Like you look at the brands and you're like, holy shit,
- 26:51Speaker 1: Like Vanderbilt is favored against the LSU Tigers.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Yeah, and it hasn't moved all week. In fact, it's
- 26:57Speaker 5: gone the way of Vandy a little bit. I think
- 26:59Speaker 5: it's even moved up a point.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Benny, coming off of buye big Losscott embarrassed, Diego Pavia
- 27:04Speaker 1: gets in an argument with a middle aged man coach
- 27:06Speaker 1: behind them.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Yond they're just kids, Yeah, they're just kids. Look, Pavia
- 27:10Speaker 5: is your age, but he's just a kid.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, he's how is he twenty five?
- 27:14Speaker 2: Twenty six?
- 27:15Speaker 6: I gotta be he's damn near thirty. Yeah, he's been.
- 27:17Speaker 2: In college football for about seven seven years.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:20Speaker 1: The LSU's offense looks stagnant. The defenses look good, not great.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I like Vanderbilt. This is Vanderbilt minus two and a half.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I like Vannerbilt. I like Clark Lee McConnell I.
- 27:33Speaker 6: I made a very uh, it's probably one in there somewhere.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I'm in a very offended comment.
- 27:38Speaker 4: I believe it was about the Miami Hurricanes going into
- 27:40Speaker 4: the first game, trying to create some theatric some some
- 27:42Speaker 4: Hollywood for the game, saying that they were the dog,
- 27:45Speaker 4: you know, sitting there at the gate barking, but once
- 27:47Speaker 4: you walk up to the gate, they don't bite you.
- 27:48Speaker 4: To me, I think that's LSU. I've been calling LSU
- 27:51Speaker 4: fraud since the Florida game when I watched them have
- 27:52Speaker 4: five turnovers and the only one by ten.
- 27:54Speaker 6: People took that personal, took it person I did.
- 27:57Speaker 4: I took it personal. And if you watch the U
- 28:00Speaker 4: if you watch the LSU South Carolina game, I mean
- 28:02Speaker 4: it's it's ten ten deep into the third quarter, ten
- 28:05Speaker 4: ten deep into the into the third quarter. They get
- 28:07Speaker 4: a quick slant that gets taken to the house, a
- 28:08Speaker 4: massive explosive play.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Then they're backed up.
- 28:11Speaker 4: South Carolina's got them backed up, and nuts Meyer scrambles
- 28:14Speaker 4: like he's Lamar Jackson. They pop an explosive run and
- 28:17Speaker 4: then nut Meyer throws a pick.
- 28:19Speaker 2: In the red zone.
- 28:20Speaker 4: My Nutmyer throws a pick in the red zone. They
- 28:23Speaker 4: they had some better optimism offensively of getting in you know,
- 28:27Speaker 4: the opponent territory, but they don't find ways to get points.
- 28:30Speaker 4: I still I'm sticking to what my thought was about LSU.
- 28:33Speaker 4: I think they are I think they're frauds right now,
- 28:36Speaker 4: and I think Vanderbilt is going to beat them this
- 28:38Speaker 4: Saturday here in Nashville. And they've been sitting on what
- 28:41Speaker 4: they beat bye week. They've been kind of licking their
- 28:44Speaker 4: wounds since the Alabama game.
- 28:47Speaker 2: They still believe.
- 28:48Speaker 4: You know, this team still believes they are the SEC champions,
- 28:51Speaker 4: that they're national title contenders. So I'm gonna buy it.
- 28:54Speaker 4: I'm gonna believe it. Will you see, listen, I'll be there.
- 28:56Speaker 4: I'll be making an appearance at this Nashville Ardabuilt LSU game.
- 29:00Speaker 6: You're going, yeah, are you serious? Yeah? Where are you
- 29:02Speaker 6: going to be?
- 29:04Speaker 4: We got a the FAMI will be there sideline and
- 29:07Speaker 4: then we'll be in one of the end zones.
- 29:09Speaker 6: So you're going to the fall don't lie tour.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Yes, we'll be attending the Josh paid fall, don't lie
- 29:13Speaker 4: tour in support and if you can slide me a
- 29:16Speaker 4: little little freights t I'll.
- 29:18Speaker 6: Throw a ruin it for you. You want a one
- 29:20Speaker 6: see she's too old for all?
- 29:21Speaker 2: She's too old?
- 29:21Speaker 5: Are you just ones easy? You have a little taher? No,
- 29:23Speaker 5: we'll talk, okay. Yeah, I got a code. I got
- 29:25Speaker 5: a promo code for you.
- 29:26Speaker 1: We'll okay.
- 29:28Speaker 5: You know what else I respect about you? You've done
- 29:30Speaker 5: this with Illinois football. You've done this with LSU football.
- 29:33Speaker 5: You when you get locked in on a prediction, no
- 29:36Speaker 5: one's breaking you. And it does not matter if you
- 29:38Speaker 5: take the last name of the quarterback and you physically
- 29:41Speaker 5: throw it into a wood chipper and just say what
- 29:43Speaker 5: comes out of the wood schipper. I got Altenheimer, I
- 29:46Speaker 5: got Nuttmeyer And you don't even break a smile.
- 29:48Speaker 6: You just go and you.
- 29:49Speaker 5: Picked Bandy minus the points, And I think I'm going
- 29:53Speaker 5: to roll with you. Here's where I would be wrong.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Three again, Here's where I would be wrong. And I
- 29:57Speaker 5: do want some credit for this. If LSU wins maybe
- 29:59Speaker 5: a quarter, maybe a quarter win, LSU actually ran the
- 30:03Speaker 5: ball last week. They haven't done it all year. They
- 30:05Speaker 5: hadn't had a single game where they were above four
- 30:07Speaker 5: yards per carry. All of a sudden they pop five
- 30:10Speaker 5: and a half yards.
- 30:10Speaker 6: Per carry on South Carolina.
- 30:12Speaker 5: And you talked about how the offensive performance still left
- 30:15Speaker 5: a lot to be desired. True, the difference is there
- 30:17Speaker 5: were a couple of turnovers that kept the game from
- 30:20Speaker 5: being a pull away game.
- 30:21Speaker 6: Now, no, not important enough.
- 30:24Speaker 5: So if that was a mirage, we'll find out. Because
- 30:28Speaker 5: Clark Lee's really good defensive staff. I believe in the
- 30:31Speaker 5: whole stewing on a loss over two weeks sort of protocol.
- 30:34Speaker 5: This is a super Bowl spot for Vanderbilt. But I
- 30:37Speaker 5: just wonder number one, we're going to have to ask
- 30:39Speaker 5: all the year about Garrett nus Mayrieka and not Meer's health.
- 30:41Speaker 6: I don't know if you can push the ball down
- 30:43Speaker 6: the field.
- 30:43Speaker 5: I don't know really if LSU can run the ball
- 30:45Speaker 5: consistently to take the pressure off of Garrett nus Meyer.
- 30:48Speaker 5: I think you're facing one of the best defensive stats
- 30:50Speaker 5: in the country at making you prove that.
- 30:53Speaker 2: They're top twenty.
- 30:54Speaker 6: Yes, you can't see.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Through them, but a lot of people still believe because
- 30:58Speaker 5: it's Vanderbilt.
- 30:59Speaker 6: Oh that's a cute.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Story, and it's whatever, like, they'll keep taking advantage of
- 31:03Speaker 5: that as long as people keep saying that I gotta
- 31:07Speaker 5: see LSU do that stuff one more week, like I
- 31:09Speaker 5: got to see him really flex offensively, and I just
- 31:12Speaker 5: don't know. I just don't know that they have that capability.
- 31:15Speaker 5: And also even if they do, they're just flat out
- 31:17Speaker 5: playing a good team this week. So there are some
- 31:19Speaker 5: things that could go right for LSU and they still
- 31:20Speaker 5: lose the game. So I think there are a lot
- 31:22Speaker 5: of paths for Vanderbilt. I'm gonna take Vandy and lay
- 31:24Speaker 5: the points and so we're arms lot fum.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I just I think that.
- 31:29Speaker 4: And again another stat for Vanderbilt, they're number one in
- 31:32Speaker 4: the country and yards per rush.
- 31:33Speaker 2: They can run the football very well.
- 31:35Speaker 4: I think the second level for LSU, they have some deficiencies,
- 31:39Speaker 4: like with their eye discipline, Like you'll be seeing guys
- 31:41Speaker 4: they'll be a man in the band while'll sift back across.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Linebacker won't see it. They'll be hitting the guy in
- 31:46Speaker 4: the flat because they're trying to play the run. They
- 31:48Speaker 4: might see a sifter and they might not fall back
- 31:50Speaker 4: to the correct gap. I just think Vanderbilt will find
- 31:53Speaker 4: some holes in this.
- 31:53Speaker 2: LSU defense to where that's where those are.
- 31:56Speaker 4: The two separations for myself is I think they'll do
- 31:59Speaker 4: a great job stop and run against LSU, because again
- 32:02Speaker 4: they did have success against South Carolina, but was there
- 32:05Speaker 4: one game of doing it. And I think Vanderbilt's Vanderbilt
- 32:08Speaker 4: is really good to run on the football.
- 32:09Speaker 1: We have a lot of talks about coaches. If LSU
- 32:13Speaker 1: drops his name to Vanderbilt in maybe not by three points,
- 32:16Speaker 1: but seven points.
- 32:17Speaker 5: If they drop it period, If they just drop it period,
- 32:20Speaker 5: you know where the question is going. It's going to
- 32:22Speaker 5: turn up on Brian Kelly. It's going to be a
- 32:24Speaker 5: second conference.
- 32:25Speaker 2: So we got potential Michigan, we got potential LSU.
- 32:27Speaker 5: If you want to know one where there's not noise
- 32:29Speaker 5: right until Auburn. Yeah, like we talked about Michigan and
- 32:32Speaker 5: that was kind of joking, kind of true. But like nationally,
- 32:36Speaker 5: no one's talking about LSU right now. Kind of like
- 32:38Speaker 5: nationally people aren't talking about the Michigan job right now.
- 32:41Speaker 5: You get on the message boards, they are just like LSU.
- 32:43Speaker 5: You get on the message boards, there's like a quiet
- 32:45Speaker 5: drum beat. I mean, this is college football. You don't
- 32:49Speaker 5: play one hundred and sixty two games. You play twelve
- 32:51Speaker 5: of them, eight of them in conference right now in
- 32:53Speaker 5: the SEC. So if they go loose to Vanderbilt Saturday,
- 32:55Speaker 5: I don't care how good Vanderbilt is.
- 32:57Speaker 6: They won't respect it.
- 32:58Speaker 5: They don't respect it's a good, hard fought loss, like
- 33:01Speaker 5: they would if you went and lost to Alabama by
- 33:03Speaker 5: three or something like that. Brian Kelly does not have
- 33:06Speaker 5: a ton of equity built up down there, And I
- 33:10Speaker 5: think that's an elite job, and they know it's an
- 33:12Speaker 5: elite job. Every coach there since the New Millennium has
- 33:15Speaker 5: won a national title. If you're going to losing to Vanderbilt,
- 33:17Speaker 5: you just get further down the road of those people
- 33:19Speaker 5: believing this guy's not gonna win one.
- 33:22Speaker 6: Here.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Now, I wouldn't even a supporter of Franklin getting fired.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Firing coaches is always my last resort, but I have
- 33:28Speaker 5: learned you got to take what I believe and put
- 33:30Speaker 5: it on the shelf and talk about what reality is.
- 33:32Speaker 5: Reality is their plane will not have landed in baton
- 33:35Speaker 5: Ue Saturday if they lose to Vandy before that.
- 33:38Speaker 6: Noise is really really loud.
- 33:42Speaker 2: If the LSU job opens up, that's that's number one
- 33:44Speaker 2: job in the country.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I believe so, Yeah, it's LSU. Yeah, even if
- 33:48Speaker 5: Florida is OK. It really depends on what you think.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Like there are some guys who don't ever want to
- 33:53Speaker 5: coach in the SEC, so they would look at the
- 33:55Speaker 5: Penn State job being better than the LSU job. Most
- 33:58Speaker 5: people would look at the LSU job as being period
- 34:00Speaker 5: because of the access.
- 34:01Speaker 6: To talent and all that stuff.
- 34:03Speaker 5: So it just depends on who you are like it.
- 34:05Speaker 5: Like take a Matt Campbell for example. I don't think
- 34:08Speaker 5: Campbell ever wants to coach in the SEC. Favorite this
- 34:10Speaker 5: is my guy. Yeah, I'll give him your bill, I'll
- 34:12Speaker 5: give him business cards if you guys are interested, But
- 34:15Speaker 5: I don't think he'd want to coach at LSU. I
- 34:16Speaker 5: don't think he want to coach in the SEC. That's
- 34:19Speaker 5: just his personal preference. Some guys don't want to. But generically, yeah,
- 34:22Speaker 5: the LSU job would be what everything works downstream of.
- 34:26Speaker 5: It would be like a keystone type job.
- 34:29Speaker 6: Opening.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 4: We are also brought to you by Form Energy. Form
- 34:33Speaker 4: delivers best in class tastes with natural flavors and zero sugar.

- 34:44Speaker 4: right now, it's Rocket Pop inspired. You got Grape Smash,

- 35:08Speaker 4: still give it your all. You are a form Energy guy.
- 35:10Speaker 4: Form Energy, we do the work. Back to the episode,
- 35:13Speaker 4: speaking of staying in the sec we got it. This
- 35:15Speaker 4: is a big one ole miss at Georgia. Georgia favored
- 35:20Speaker 4: right now by seven and a half or oh boy,
- 35:22Speaker 4: seven and a half.
- 35:23Speaker 2: You can't laugh anymore. Canny over under on this game
- 35:25Speaker 2: fifty three and a half.
- 35:30Speaker 1: How we feeling we'll messing a dogfight at Washington State.
- 35:32Speaker 2: You brought it up on Monday.
- 35:33Speaker 1: They didn't even know they were playing Washington State nil
- 35:35Speaker 1: the third quarter, fourth quarter.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I need to believe that, because if the alternative
- 35:39Speaker 5: is true, That just means ole miss is a secret, garbage,
- 35:41Speaker 5: secret fraud.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Is Georgia does the same. Go for Georgia and.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Auburn, because Auburn at one point they're able to almost
- 35:48Speaker 1: go up seventeen zero, they don't fumble on the goal
- 35:50Speaker 1: line on the quarterback sneak.
- 35:51Speaker 5: Georgia had run twelve plays with a minute and a
- 35:54Speaker 5: half to go in the first half, forty two plays
- 35:57Speaker 5: to twelve, and Auburn still pissed game away somehow, can't
- 36:02Speaker 5: believe that could have been seventeen to nothing was ten
- 36:05Speaker 5: to three, and they do nothing in the second half
- 36:08Speaker 5: and Georgia finds a way. I mean, Kirby was caught
- 36:10Speaker 5: on camera saying we stole that one. He's right, they
- 36:14Speaker 5: stole it. There's a lot of skill in being able
- 36:16Speaker 5: to still a win on the road in conference play.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Georgia is not an elite team. People are trying to
- 36:21Speaker 5: wrap their minds around that.
- 36:22Speaker 6: Still. There are very few elite teams.
- 36:24Speaker 5: Ohio State maybe one, but you're not seeing Ohio State
- 36:27Speaker 5: get tested every week either. But let's just say they
- 36:29Speaker 5: are elite. I don't think there's an elite team in
- 36:31Speaker 5: the SEC. So that means all these teams are vulnerable
- 36:35Speaker 5: in these spots. But remember this. We were just talking
- 36:37Speaker 5: about Vandy and LSU and we all went Vandy. We
- 36:39Speaker 5: went Vandy because of the bye week. We went Vandy
- 36:42Speaker 5: because of what's built up and pent up. And they
- 36:44Speaker 5: just lost Tobama. Well, Auburn had just come off back
- 36:46Speaker 5: to back losses. Entire staff is under fire. They had
- 36:49Speaker 5: a bye week to gear up for a home game
- 36:52Speaker 5: at night against Georgia, so it's not a shock that
- 36:54Speaker 5: the game was close. The line was three and a
- 36:56Speaker 5: half on the game, so the game was supposed to
- 36:59Speaker 5: be close, and it was, and Georgia found a way
- 37:01Speaker 5: to win. Kirby all week. Are you clapping?
- 37:04Speaker 4: Are you I'm just yeah, I'm doing that. This is
- 37:07Speaker 4: yeah clapping. I think they call it clapping.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I appreciate it, even if I'm yelling yeah, no, you're
- 37:12Speaker 2: sitting clap. I'm trying to.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I will saying hooray. Yeah, let's me saying hooray.
- 37:17Speaker 5: So Kirby steps to the podium for his press conference
- 37:20Speaker 5: this week and he's like, man, we need Sandford Stadium.
- 37:23Speaker 5: We got to have this place on fire. We need
- 37:25Speaker 5: the best home field environment in college football. It went
- 37:28Speaker 5: over a lot of people's heads. That's normal. That's just
- 37:30Speaker 5: a coach trying to charge up his place. Oh, let
- 37:35Speaker 5: me tell you about first halves in this game. It's
- 37:37Speaker 5: the most important first half in college football. This Saturday,
- 37:40Speaker 5: talk to us ole Miss, number six team in the
- 37:43Speaker 5: country in first half passing. Georgia has gotten behind in
- 37:47Speaker 5: every big game this year. Defensively, they are eighty fifth
- 37:50Speaker 5: in pass yards per first half allowed. They are one
- 37:53Speaker 5: hundred and thirtieth and first half completion percentage allowed. They
- 37:58Speaker 5: are notorious for getting behind the eight ball this year.
- 38:01Speaker 5: They got behind against Tennessee, had to fight back to win.
- 38:05Speaker 5: They got behind against Alabama at home, did not come
- 38:07Speaker 5: from behind. They were down bad against Auburn last week,
- 38:10Speaker 5: could have been a lot worse. They find a way
- 38:12Speaker 5: to come from behind. The difference is Auburn did not
- 38:14Speaker 5: have the explosivity element to their offense. They're in the
- 38:17Speaker 5: one hundreds. Ole Miss is a top fifteen explosive team.
- 38:20Speaker 5: So if ole Miss gets up on you, ole Miss
- 38:23Speaker 5: can continue to score. Also, you got to worry about
- 38:25Speaker 5: the quarterback run, but you also have to worry about
- 38:27Speaker 5: better wide risky ride receiver skill, which Auburn did not have.
- 38:31Speaker 5: There is a belief in Athens this is a team
- 38:34Speaker 5: you can't let get the lead. So somehow, someway, they
- 38:37Speaker 5: got to change everything they do and George's got to
- 38:39Speaker 5: be able to get the lead. Now there is the possibility,
- 38:42Speaker 5: there is that card in the deck that Ole Miss
- 38:45Speaker 5: is a total fraud. They went to Kentucky and had
- 38:47Speaker 5: a close win. Famously, Lane did not cover against Kentucky
- 38:51Speaker 5: earlier in the year. This is Trinidad Chambliss's first SEC
- 38:54Speaker 5: road start because he didn't start that game. Also, the
- 38:58Speaker 5: Washington State result last week may not have been them
- 39:01Speaker 5: overlooking them. Maybe Ole Miss just isn't all that great.
- 39:03Speaker 5: So you got to find out are they hollow or
- 39:05Speaker 5: are they for real? On the Old Miss side, you
- 39:08Speaker 5: got to find out if Georgia can flip this first
- 39:10Speaker 5: half problem they've had. So if the line is above seven,
- 39:15Speaker 5: which correct me if I'm wrong, it still is right
- 39:18Speaker 5: seven and a half, I'm doing the whole split the
- 39:20Speaker 5: difference thing, But we're not talking about who's gonna win.
- 39:23Speaker 6: Straight up.
- 39:23Speaker 5: I'm gonna take Old Miss plus the points because there
- 39:25Speaker 5: are enough scenarios where Ole Miss wins the game out
- 39:27Speaker 5: right where I'm happy to take ole Miss plus the
- 39:30Speaker 5: seven and a half first half tells you everything. I
- 39:34Speaker 5: would live bet I can with that. Yeah, I would
- 39:37Speaker 5: live bet this game very hard.
- 39:39Speaker 2: It is.
- 39:39Speaker 1: I think this game is gonna come down. Like when
- 39:41Speaker 1: you watch the first quarter, you're gonna have a good
- 39:43Speaker 1: idea of where Georgia is stands in this game. There
- 39:46Speaker 1: one in three in their last four for the first quarter,
- 39:48Speaker 1: and if ole Miss who is if there is potent
- 39:51Speaker 1: of an offense as they claim to be or that
- 39:52Speaker 1: seems that they are, and they're able to get up
- 39:54Speaker 1: to scores on them in the first quarter, I don't
- 39:57Speaker 1: think George is able to come back in that way
- 39:59Speaker 1: or definitely not come back plus win by set, like
- 40:02Speaker 1: by eight points.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Also remember this, you get up on him, you can
- 40:05Speaker 5: run the ball on him. Ole Miss in the nineties
- 40:08Speaker 5: and run defense. If George is in a position where
- 40:10Speaker 5: they trail and they have to throw the ball to
- 40:13Speaker 5: catch up. Ole Miss is pretty good pass d there's
- 40:16Speaker 5: I think number twenty eight in the country pass defense.
- 40:18Speaker 5: So for for like five different reasons we just laid out,
- 40:21Speaker 5: it's so important Georgia does not fall behind.
- 40:23Speaker 6: Please continue.
- 40:24Speaker 2: No, that was that was it.
- 40:25Speaker 6: That was it. That was it.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think they're going to do I
- 40:28Speaker 1: think ole Miss can win this game out right, I'm
- 40:30Speaker 1: taking ole.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Miss with the points. Oh boy, I know, I kind
- 40:33Speaker 2: of just want to take Georgia.
- 40:34Speaker 6: Now. This is this is about as lame as it gets.
- 40:37Speaker 2: This.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I had a fucking Anakin Skywalker analogy with Lane Kiff and.
- 40:42Speaker 2: You see him.
- 40:43Speaker 1: The podium person asked him, Hey, who you You and
- 40:46Speaker 1: Kirby Smart a couple of fiery guys who think burns
- 40:48Speaker 1: more calories.
- 40:49Speaker 6: Body shame. Yeah, yeah, it's a whole new world. We
- 40:54Speaker 6: can body shame people.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Either way.
- 41:01Speaker 6: No, not in the model.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Not in the model. Model doesn't do that.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Could you imagine if you really get to know Kirby
- 41:08Speaker 5: Smart and you find out that is what gets in
- 41:10Speaker 5: his head of all the things that get said, like
- 41:14Speaker 5: you're a head coach in the SEC, even when you're winning,
- 41:17Speaker 5: you get ripped, And if you find out that it
- 41:19Speaker 5: never affected him but one of his peers, he talks
- 41:22Speaker 5: to Lane a lot there in one group chat. Yeah,
- 41:24Speaker 5: like one of his peers, he didn't even go to
- 41:25Speaker 5: the group chat to call him fat.
- 41:26Speaker 6: He called him fat publicly. If that's what gets you.
- 41:31Speaker 1: To play Devil's advocate for Georgia. We sat here a
- 41:33Speaker 1: few weeks ago with Georgia and Tennessee, and the big
- 41:35Speaker 1: shaw is, can Georgia keep up with Tennessee in their
- 41:39Speaker 1: explosive place? Yep, because they go east to west so
- 41:42Speaker 1: much to my bobo. Everyone hates him because he only
- 41:44Speaker 1: goes east to west. They go to that game, they
- 41:46Speaker 1: do go down, but they had a lot of explosive plays.
- 41:48Speaker 1: They pushed the ball down the field the same way
- 41:50Speaker 1: Tennessee did' end up coming with with a win.
- 41:51Speaker 5: Tennessee in the one hundreds in explosives allowed, which we'll
- 41:55Speaker 5: talk about in Obama Tennessee game later. Ole Miss. That's
- 41:57Speaker 5: why I pointed out top thirty pas D. It's a
- 41:59Speaker 5: little different task having to play catch up against old Miss,
- 42:02Speaker 5: not elite. I'm not saying that they're not shut down.
- 42:05Speaker 5: Way different resistance than Tennessee's gonna give you through the air.
- 42:09Speaker 2: All right, Yeah, does Ole.
- 42:11Speaker 4: Miss become the hottest team in the SEC this weekend
- 42:13Speaker 4: or does Georgia exposing Miss frauds?
- 42:15Speaker 6: That's it.
- 42:16Speaker 4: Since you guys took Ole Miss, I'm just gonna go
- 42:18Speaker 4: Georgia taking Georgia minus seven and a half, just only
- 42:22Speaker 4: because just because we're aligned on every pick.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I know that is kind of tough. I feel like
- 42:28Speaker 2: we're going to be aligned on this game. You loved LSU,
- 42:30Speaker 2: You've been loving LSU all year.
- 42:32Speaker 1: And now you want Yeah, well all the dominoes falling
- 42:36Speaker 1: with Vandy and the Alabama thing, they were up. They're
- 42:39Speaker 1: playing a good game, started get away from them in
- 42:40Speaker 1: the second half. And if you're gonna look at LSU
- 42:43Speaker 1: and you play, hey, their offense is gonna be super
- 42:45Speaker 1: strong this year. And they're not the first couple of
- 42:46Speaker 1: games their defensives up, as you can lean on the
- 42:48Speaker 1: fact that, hey, their defense has been terrible when Brian
- 42:50Speaker 1: Kelly first got there. They've just gotten better and better
- 42:52Speaker 1: and better, and hey, that's a good defense. Now offense
- 42:54Speaker 1: will figure it out, not Meyer. They have five picks
- 42:58Speaker 1: against Florida and to come away with twenty points total.
- 43:02Speaker 1: You watch, I mean, we're over halfway through the football season.
- 43:05Speaker 1: It's like at some point you got to jump ship.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I'm not the captain of that ship. I'm not in Titanic.
- 43:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna sit there and watch a wave just come
- 43:10Speaker 1: in and crash it and take me out. I'm getting
- 43:12Speaker 1: the fucking lifeboat. Yeah, because I love to sit there
- 43:16Speaker 1: and keep finying. But like put the LSU film on,
- 43:18Speaker 1: it's like, this doesn't look overly competitive to where they're
- 43:24Speaker 1: gonna win SEC, they're gonna win the national Championship. It
- 43:27Speaker 1: feels like a coach is on the hot seat after
- 43:30Speaker 1: this game.
- 43:30Speaker 5: Game control is hard when you don't have a quarterback
- 43:32Speaker 5: that can take the game over and you don't have
- 43:34Speaker 5: a running game that can take the game.
- 43:35Speaker 2: You're playing a team that dominates game control.
- 43:37Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Like the time position.
- 43:40Speaker 1: I mean, I remember talking to JP if for the
- 43:41Speaker 1: South Carolina gams, is like, there's nothing more inferior to
- 43:43Speaker 1: me as a South Carolina fan just watching Vanderbilt sit
- 43:47Speaker 1: there and let the clock take down.
- 43:49Speaker 6: Yes, third and three all night, yeah, fourth and all night.
- 43:52Speaker 1: You're just wear them down over and over again. And
- 43:54Speaker 1: the thing about Vanderbilt is they don't got to do that.
- 43:56Speaker 1: They don't have to sit there because the LSU's offense
- 43:58Speaker 1: is fraudulent, right, so they don't have to keep this
- 44:00Speaker 1: offense off the field. If anything, it's like, hey, take
- 44:02Speaker 1: a couple of shots at explosives, get ahead, so nut
- 44:05Speaker 1: Meyer's got to push the ball on the field and
- 44:06Speaker 1: you're in trouble.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that.
- 44:09Speaker 4: I need Kirby smart to know I will be tuned
- 44:11Speaker 4: in the first half of that football game. This man
- 44:13Speaker 4: over here is saying Georgia Bulldogs aren't elite. You're the
- 44:16Speaker 4: fucking Georgia Bulldogs out physical this fucking team.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Hand the ball the Fraser gunner stockedon Diyke.
- 44:22Speaker 4: Sit out to Zach Zacharia or Zachary Zachariah Branch.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I want an asshopen this weekend.
- 44:28Speaker 4: What is it Sandford or Sandford Stadium, Sanford Sanford Stadium.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Show the fuck up, gimme, gimme Georgia minus seven and
- 44:36Speaker 2: a half.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Could you imagine if Zach or Zacharia Branch state at
- 44:39Speaker 1: USC that would be there'd be a diabolical offenses.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Yeah, they kind of alread already wouldn't begining his He
- 44:46Speaker 4: wouldn't be able to show up this week against Old Miss.
- 44:48Speaker 2: You just have three wide receiver ones.
- 44:51Speaker 6: Yeah, never run it.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Also, we didn't talk about USC is missing their top
- 44:54Speaker 2: two running backs.
- 44:55Speaker 6: Yeah they are, but that fucking welcome kid, Oh my god,
- 44:59Speaker 6: I got like five all of.
- 45:00Speaker 4: A sudden, have you thought about have you guys thought
- 45:02Speaker 4: about and look, I'm off, I'm just going back. I'm
- 45:06Speaker 4: off all miss. Have you guys thought about Lane Kiffin
- 45:09Speaker 4: being the Anakin Skywalker of college football?
- 45:11Speaker 6: Do you want to do your analogy? I just I
- 45:13Speaker 6: thought of an.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Analogy like a well because because hey, yeah, I had
- 45:18Speaker 4: this whole and gave me just this is something I
- 45:21Speaker 4: can root for and get behind.
- 45:23Speaker 2: And that's the Hollywood of college football that I love
- 45:26Speaker 2: to buy and love to play into. But Lane Kiffin,
- 45:30Speaker 2: stick with.
- 45:30Speaker 6: Me here, Listen, listen.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Once upon a time, in a far.
- 45:34Speaker 4: Away galaxy, Lane Kiffin, or Anakin Skywalker, was the chosen one.
- 45:41Speaker 4: You had the Jedi master Nick Saban, the Yoda, the
- 45:45Speaker 4: Obi wan Kenobi, whichever one you want to call him,
- 45:48Speaker 4: teaching them about process, order, discipline, structure. But what made
- 45:54Speaker 4: Lane Kiffin great was his creativity. It's a little bit
- 45:57Speaker 4: of Swaggy, had the energy, the trolling. You know, Nick Saban,
- 46:02Speaker 4: he doesn't teach the get out there in press conferences
- 46:03Speaker 4: to give these one line bits that we all love
- 46:05Speaker 4: to laugh at because Kiffen knows. He's kind of a
- 46:08Speaker 4: funny guy as well. And everything that made Kiffen great
- 46:11Speaker 4: is kind of what burned him with Alabama. So this
- 46:13Speaker 4: was a bad little breakup when he left Alabama because
- 46:16Speaker 4: over in the corner was Mace Windu or is I
- 46:18Speaker 4: like to thank Kirby Smart was all about loyal to
- 46:22Speaker 4: the order, loyal to the Council, the protector of the
- 46:25Speaker 4: teachings of Nick Saban.
- 46:26Speaker 2: He's gone out to kind of recreate it and be
- 46:31Speaker 2: and be that Nick Saban.
- 46:32Speaker 4: Now that Nick Saban's gone, he's the protector of the galaxy, right,
- 46:35Speaker 4: Blane Kiffin now goes to old myths. That is his
- 46:38Speaker 4: death star. This is where death Darth Kiffen is born.
- 46:42Speaker 4: He wanted to rewrite the system, rewrite the playbook. He's
- 46:45Speaker 4: been in conversations where he said that everything I learned
- 46:48Speaker 4: about all these defensive masterminds with Kirby Smart, Nick Saban
- 46:52Speaker 4: and all those guys, and he created this offensive playbook
- 46:55Speaker 4: to defeat these defenses. So when he stands on the
- 46:58Speaker 4: sideline on Saturday and looks across the field and he
- 47:02Speaker 4: sees fucking focus and he sees Kirby Smart on the
- 47:06Speaker 4: other side, it's not about aka, miss Mace wind Do.
- 47:10Speaker 4: It's not about just winning this football game. It's about
- 47:12Speaker 4: showing the world that you don't have to be a
- 47:14Speaker 4: clone of Nick Saban to conquer the galaxy, to conquer
- 47:17Speaker 4: college football, and it's it's Hollywood and theatrics like that
- 47:21Speaker 4: where I do love this game and it's something I
- 47:22Speaker 4: would have wanted to root for if we all weren't
- 47:24Speaker 4: across the board on every pick. So that was kind
- 47:26Speaker 4: of my analogy of this is kind of the Anakin
- 47:29Speaker 4: Skywalker of college football. Somebody a little bit of a
- 47:31Speaker 4: bad boy wants to do it this way, a little
- 47:33Speaker 4: bit more ego than the other guys. So that was
- 47:35Speaker 4: kind of my analogy and something I think the Star
- 47:37Speaker 4: Wars siccos could sit with me, like, Yeah, that's a
- 47:39Speaker 4: pretty I.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Mean that went hard. Everything you just said. How many
- 47:43Speaker 2: times you do that in the mirror? Uh one time
- 47:45Speaker 2: on the car ride over.
- 47:47Speaker 5: I'm just I'm really glad you didn't write all that
- 47:49Speaker 5: on the note cards where I had to read, yeah,
- 47:51Speaker 5: seventy three, break.
- 47:53Speaker 6: This down, just start scrolling, read it out loud.
- 47:55Speaker 1: I mean everything you just said is old miss all
- 47:57Speaker 1: the way.
- 47:57Speaker 6: Yeah yeah.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Or or the light fucking wins on Saturday, not the
- 48:04Speaker 2: dark side. Fuck the dark side.
- 48:06Speaker 5: Imagine the ending of Jaws. If instead of shooting that
- 48:10Speaker 5: shark and blowing him up, he just misses the tank
- 48:12Speaker 5: of gas and the shark just devours him. That's Lane.
- 48:16Speaker 5: That's Lane sinking into the ocean with the rifle in
- 48:18Speaker 5: his hand and Kirby's just chewing on the gas tank
- 48:21Speaker 5: as he's coming at him full speed. And this is
- 48:23Speaker 5: not going to take as long as the Star Wars
- 48:25Speaker 5: and now, plus I haven't see.
- 48:26Speaker 6: The Star Wars. But you just you fire, and you fire,
- 48:29Speaker 6: and you fire and you miss and he eats you.
- 48:31Speaker 6: That's the Georgia win. Would have been an interesting ending
- 48:34Speaker 6: to that movie.
- 48:35Speaker 5: If the shark just takes out Chief Brody and just
- 48:38Speaker 5: rips him into thirty seven pieces.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Sounds like you have an opportunity here.
- 48:43Speaker 4: We're talking about Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs outside
- 48:46Speaker 4: of just losing the Baman. They lost the Baman snapped
- 48:48Speaker 4: out how many game win streak winning streaked, the preak
- 48:51Speaker 4: game pre COVID winning streak. They're back at home. They're
- 48:55Speaker 4: at home against LSU, starting a new streak. It just
- 48:58Speaker 4: could be that simple that we're overthinking it so much
- 49:01Speaker 4: where it's like George is gonna take care of this team.
- 49:03Speaker 1: But you're just gonna win this game by more than.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Seven and a half.
- 49:07Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, so we go True Classic Game of the Week,
- 49:11Speaker 4: True Classic Game of the week. All right, This True

- 49:27Speaker 4: uhh uhh uh oh stick with me here we have
- 49:30Speaker 4: some We got the True the Pema curve. It's got

- 49:46Speaker 4: feel good, play good, True Classic. Let's get to the
- 49:48Speaker 4: game of the week.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Tennessee at Alabama, Third Saturday in October, generational
- 49:55Speaker 1: mashup Joey Agular versus Ty Simpson, Hey Hi Tight Alabama Favorite.
- 50:01Speaker 1: Seven and a half points total points. That game is
- 50:04Speaker 1: fifty eight and a half. A lot of orange in
- 50:08Speaker 1: the live studio audience today, Would any of you like
- 50:11Speaker 1: to come and stand up and speak for your team
- 50:14Speaker 1: before we get into this game.
- 50:17Speaker 2: John Jack just standing in the corner.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Also big Alabama fan Garrett, he will speak next.
- 50:25Speaker 2: We will make our decisions after that.
- 50:27Speaker 6: There's a lot up there.
- 50:33Speaker 7: I will try and keep this short and sweet. A
- 50:35Speaker 7: few keys to success. One, set the tempo. Gotta go
- 50:40Speaker 7: out there with structure, play calling mixed in with some
- 50:44Speaker 7: ambitious stuff. Get Alabama's defense a little off kilter. We
- 50:48Speaker 7: got to win in the trenches. Establish the run game
- 50:51Speaker 7: early so that we can open up for play action passes.
- 50:54Speaker 7: Have to protect Joey Aguilar at all costs. Biggest key
- 50:59Speaker 7: to success. Defense, bend, do not break. We know there
- 51:04Speaker 7: are holes there in the secondary. They're saying a lot
- 51:07Speaker 7: of stuff. It's a field of dreams. Is one of
- 51:10Speaker 7: the Bamber wide receivers mentioned this week, which I love,
- 51:13Speaker 7: good bulletin boar material and special teams. He explosive plays
- 51:19Speaker 7: and got to flip the field. The last time Tennessee
- 51:23Speaker 7: won in Brian Denny was two thousand and three. It
- 51:26Speaker 7: was a five ot game. I don't know what's gonna happen.
- 51:31Speaker 7: It's scary. Historically, Tennessee does not perform well in Brian Denny.
- 51:36Speaker 7: But I'll just say this right now. Tell us if
- 51:39Speaker 7: Joey Aguilar goes down into Tuscaluso and wins, We're building
- 51:43Speaker 7: a goddamn statue in Knoxville.
- 51:46Speaker 6: And that's all.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Thank you, Jack Yeah Well, said Jack Garrett. A lot
- 51:56Speaker 2: of fear of Jack Yeah Jack skis of the game.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Win in every area.
- 51:59Speaker 6: The yeah, third Saturday in October. We all know what
- 52:06Speaker 6: this one means.
- 52:07Speaker 8: It will be me versus the world this weekend on
- 52:09Speaker 8: the stream. Make sure you tune in. I think Alabama's
- 52:14Speaker 8: got to keep the mindset of.
- 52:16Speaker 6: This is business.
- 52:18Speaker 8: I know we just did a little bit of talking
- 52:19Speaker 8: about the field of dreams, but when we get on
- 52:21Speaker 8: the field, it is play, get back for the next play,
- 52:26Speaker 8: shut them down. It's got to have that same locked
- 52:29Speaker 8: in attitude and get it done. A great coach once said,
- 52:34Speaker 8: the biggest disrespect is when someone tries to take what's yours.
- 52:37Speaker 2: So let's not be denied what we want.
- 52:41Speaker 6: Roll tad Well said, if he's going off.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Speeches and you can just their boys, their boys get
- 52:51Speaker 1: But Garrett Garrett's got like a calm.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Like until they both have respect.
- 52:56Speaker 4: They both want to say and you know, let's let's
- 52:57Speaker 4: get a couple of things for an edge, right, kind
- 53:00Speaker 4: of hear the nerves in the voice.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Yeah, what is the thing you said last week? It
- 53:05Speaker 1: was like rock paper scissors. But if one plus one
- 53:08Speaker 1: plus one equals transitive property, does that take place here?
- 53:15Speaker 6: Well? Yes, yes, possibly possibly?
- 53:20Speaker 2: Did I follow the transitive property correctly?
- 53:21Speaker 5: Not not necessarily? It's Tennessee Georgia, Tennessee. Georgia is the
- 53:25Speaker 5: common opponent. So Georgia beat Tennessee, Bama beat Georgia. Therefore
- 53:30Speaker 5: Bama's got a role against Tennessee according to the transitive property.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Okay, but just before we go into the game, Yeah,
- 53:36Speaker 2: did I get transitive property correct?
- 53:38Speaker 7: You?
- 53:39Speaker 6: You brushed up against it enough where I knew what
- 53:41Speaker 6: you were talking about. Yes, that's all right, all right,
- 53:44Speaker 6: what do you got Taylor? Dude?
- 53:47Speaker 1: When yesterday this game was at nine and a half,
- 53:49Speaker 1: two days ago nine and a half, and I was like,
- 53:51Speaker 1: this has gotta be Tennessee. All the way I listened
- 53:55Speaker 1: to Paqul talk about how the back end of Tennessee
- 53:57Speaker 1: is absolutely horrendous. They give up explosive plays all team
- 54:00Speaker 1: all the time, and then but then he comes up
- 54:03Speaker 1: and He's like, but they get the number one sack
- 54:04Speaker 1: rate in college football or top five sacerate in college football,
- 54:07Speaker 1: like seven point five five percent, whatever that percentage.
- 54:09Speaker 6: Means to you.
- 54:11Speaker 1: And it's like, okay, all right, that's a good that's
- 54:12Speaker 1: a good. Note got to get after the quarterback. But
- 54:13Speaker 1: what is ty Simpson do well? He does well throwing
- 54:15Speaker 1: the ball in the pocket, but he does even better
- 54:18Speaker 1: on these Hey he's under pressure, he gets himself out
- 54:20Speaker 1: of pressure. These wide receivers. You got the infection and
- 54:23Speaker 1: the guy who is the teddy Bear, Ryan Williams, who
- 54:25Speaker 1: might be a future of Michigan Wolverine. You got those
- 54:28Speaker 1: guys out there, and they're gonna separate in those off
- 54:31Speaker 1: schedule plays. And as his line gets lower and lower
- 54:35Speaker 1: towards Alabama, I was sitting with the balls. I think
- 54:41Speaker 1: I'm rolling tide. They hurt me last week after I've
- 54:44Speaker 1: kind of been against them for a while. But for
- 54:47Speaker 1: whatever reason, seven and a half points Brian Denny Stadium.
- 54:50Speaker 1: What color hoodie are we wearing? All black hoodie? For
- 54:55Speaker 1: killing de Boer twelve and two? And then I think
- 54:58Speaker 1: about us in the beginning of the year. You talk
- 55:00Speaker 1: about the back end of the of Alabama's defense, how
- 55:03Speaker 1: everybody is an NFL guy. Not only is everybody who's
- 55:05Speaker 1: on the field, but the guys who are off the
- 55:06Speaker 1: field winning their turn are also NFL guys. They're starting
- 55:09Speaker 1: to turn it up in the run game. Ty Simpson
- 55:11Speaker 1: is one of those dudes that after Week one you're like, oh,
- 55:14Speaker 1: you know, do we have a problem. No, he is
- 55:17Speaker 1: a Heisman fravate for a reason. And I'm just I
- 55:21Speaker 1: sit there. I'm like, if they haven't won, it's two
- 55:24Speaker 1: thousand and three, does that really change this year? And
- 55:28Speaker 1: I liked nine and a half. I said there at
- 55:31Speaker 1: seven and a half, I'm taking Alabama.
- 55:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I think this game's Alabama Alabama minus seven and
- 55:36Speaker 4: a half. I think they had a moment where they
- 55:38Speaker 4: could have lost last week in Missoo, where that could
- 55:41Speaker 4: have been their letdown spot. But seeing them take care
- 55:43Speaker 4: of business and obviously the war friend of the show
- 55:47Speaker 4: he was kind of talking about the show, Yeah, hyper
- 55:49Speaker 4: friend of the show, but a couple of weeks ago
- 55:51Speaker 4: whenever we had him on, and you just the urgency
- 55:53Speaker 4: that they have there, the way that they have bounced
- 55:55Speaker 4: back this season after that very far away now Week
- 55:58Speaker 4: one loss against Florida's eight. I think they've handled themselves
- 56:02Speaker 4: in such a way to where you know they're locked
- 56:03Speaker 4: in and focused, and I think this is going to
- 56:05Speaker 4: be one of those games to where it could be
- 56:08Speaker 4: close going into halftime. And Tennessee fans are more so
- 56:11Speaker 4: if you're sitting there watching the game, rooting for your team, like, man,
- 56:14Speaker 4: if we could have got off the field on those
- 56:15Speaker 4: third longs, or we could have converted points on this one,
- 56:18Speaker 4: like this is a game that in their minds feel
- 56:20Speaker 4: closer than what it is. And then I think of
- 56:22Speaker 4: Alabama and I think that they are a national title
- 56:26Speaker 4: competitive type team to where last year, if you go
- 56:29Speaker 4: NFL analogies, is almost like you could be closer at
- 56:32Speaker 4: halftime against last year the Eagles against the Lions, but
- 56:35Speaker 4: once you get in the second half and they're able
- 56:36Speaker 4: to lean on you. And again, ty Simpson, this offense,
- 56:39Speaker 4: they can throw the ball as well as anybody. He
- 56:41Speaker 4: takes care of the football. I think Tennessee's going to
- 56:43Speaker 4: need turnovers. I just don't think they'll get them with
- 56:46Speaker 4: ty Simpson. Their back end is not very good. And
- 56:49Speaker 4: if you're if you're in the secondary and you're hearing
- 56:52Speaker 4: those comments hopefully you take it as BOLLETI board material.
- 56:54Speaker 4: But if you know you're a liability in the back end,
- 56:56Speaker 4: and you know the other guy on the other side
- 56:58Speaker 4: of the ball is feasting and salivating at the opportunit
- 57:00Speaker 4: and even knows that, oh, these guys, these boys ain't
- 57:02Speaker 4: any good. You're gonna do one of two things when
- 57:04Speaker 4: that when that game kicks off on Saturday, you're either
- 57:06Speaker 4: gonna obviously show up seeing his Baltimore material compete, or
- 57:10Speaker 4: the moment one catches on you, you are you're in
- 57:12Speaker 4: your own head. I think it's much harder to be
- 57:14Speaker 4: a dB than it is a wide receiver talking shit.
- 57:17Speaker 4: So I like Alabama. I like Alabama to cover this game.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Both those last things you said can be true together,
- 57:22Speaker 1: Like you can have the idea of I'm going to
- 57:25Speaker 1: put the script here, I'm gonna I'm gonna compete, I'm
- 57:26Speaker 1: gonna be a dog this week.
- 57:28Speaker 2: But if one catchdown, it just takes one catch very
- 57:30Speaker 2: easy to go back, takes one explosive play man.
- 57:33Speaker 1: We really just can't get right to the point where
- 57:35Speaker 1: we're pointing fingers a little bit. Yeah, I do believe
- 57:38Speaker 1: there's a piece of me that believes Josh Tipel's offense.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Though if he was a Pokemon, he'd be did it.
- 57:41Speaker 1: He's we gonna adapt to essentially anything and become It's
- 57:45Speaker 1: the same offense he wants to be.
- 57:47Speaker 4: It's the same formula they got to have that they
- 57:49Speaker 4: showed against Georgia, where you know they they should have
- 57:53Speaker 4: won that game. Georgia escaped it ended up beating him.
- 57:55Speaker 4: But it's like, you've got to win explosives early. You're
- 57:58Speaker 4: gonna have to have the lead against the team. I
- 58:00Speaker 4: just don't think they don't have enough in the second
- 58:03Speaker 4: half against Bama.
- 58:04Speaker 5: Same offensive staff for Tennessee against the same defensive staff
- 58:08Speaker 5: for Bama as last year they beat Bama last year.
- 58:11Speaker 5: What stood out to me i was at this game
- 58:14Speaker 5: last year was how many guys ran wide open that
- 58:17Speaker 5: Nico missed. So there's a lot of meat left on
- 58:20Speaker 5: the bone. So the line is seven and a half, right, Yeah, Okay,
- 58:24Speaker 5: So in order to pull upsets in rivalry games, just
- 58:27Speaker 5: historically college football has shown you you have to take
- 58:30Speaker 5: something on the stat sheet and rip the stat sheet
- 58:32Speaker 5: up to me. For Tennessee, that would be a couple
- 58:35Speaker 5: of things have to happen here. One would make sense.
- 58:37Speaker 5: The other wouldn't. The first one is Josh Heipel's entire
- 58:42Speaker 5: offense is predicated on running the ball, even though everyone
- 58:44Speaker 5: thinks it's throwing the ball all over the place. You
- 58:46Speaker 5: got a really good ground game again against a Bama
- 58:49Speaker 5: rundee in the nineties. So if you start controlling the
- 58:52Speaker 5: game early like that, everything kind of falls into place
- 58:55Speaker 5: like Domino's. The other thing that would not make sense
- 58:59Speaker 5: is what if Bama turned the ball over? They've only
- 59:01Speaker 5: done it twice all year, Like you guys said, what
- 59:04Speaker 5: would force that. This Tennessee secondary is terrible. What would
- 59:06Speaker 5: force that? Probably playing a lot of zone against Alabama
- 59:10Speaker 5: forcing them to be patient and they get a little
- 59:12Speaker 5: too aggressive. This could be the kind of game where
- 59:15Speaker 5: Tys Simpson throws for three sixty but has a couple
- 59:18Speaker 5: of picks, and you look at it and you say, wow,
- 59:20Speaker 5: Bama's outgaining, and wow, Ty's stat line looks great. But
- 59:23Speaker 5: you try and just go get a little bit too much,
- 59:26Speaker 5: a little bit too often, and something happens where Tennessee,
- 59:29Speaker 5: who is number two in the SEC and takeaways, I
- 59:31Speaker 5: think three defensive scores in the past four or five games,
- 59:35Speaker 5: six games, something like that. Where they snatch a possession
- 59:38Speaker 5: or two like that, and that would be how an
- 59:40Speaker 5: upset would happen. The problem with all of that is,
- 59:45Speaker 5: I watched Bama against Missouri last week's life focus.
- 59:50Speaker 6: I know focus.
- 59:51Speaker 5: They left so much on the field and they know it,
- 59:53Speaker 5: and they've talked about it all week about how many
- 59:56Speaker 5: how many receiving yards were left on the field that
- 59:58Speaker 5: I think it's such a premium focused with them, And
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: I think the biggest mismatch on our entire card this
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: week is Bama's passing game against the secondary number fifteen,
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: pass offense number one hundred and twenty three, pass defense
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: number eighteen, and explosive number one hundred and twenty six
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: and explosives allowed.
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: Close game.
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: Like you said early, I think there are moments where
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: you think Tennessee's got a shot here, and then it
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: ended up Bama winning double digits in the end. Oh to,
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: I'll take Bama to win a cover.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: You did that last time.
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: Jack. Have you guys been in this game? You have not.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: We were at this game last year. Yeah, this is
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: the most because also who else was down there? Yeah?
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: They U Nico might have missed some shots, but who.
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: Also missed some shots. Jalen Molroe.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: Jalen Molroe.
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: There's laundry all over the field.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: I felt like there's a lot of penalties that game too,
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: to where it's, you know, some discipline football.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: The old school Bama folks tell you this is the
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: biggest rivalry they have, bigger than Auburn. The older Bama
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: foot The younger Bama folks don't know that because they
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: had that fifteen year run and it sort of muted
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: the right valry the older Bama folks. And I was
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: brought up around this, the older ones, the ones that
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: stacked the VHS tapes in their basement and you watch
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: them on rainy Saturdays. They tell you about Bama Tennessee,
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: and so you go to the game. I've been to
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: the last two in Kneeland and they've won the last
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: two in Kneelan and the cigar tradition after the game,
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: and especially Tennessee getting over the hump. Finally, I think
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: it's re energized this rivalry. The Bama folks always take
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: it seriously anyway, but now that they've lost two out
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: of three to Tennessee, including last year, and they get
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: them in their house at night, there's one or two
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: games per year where you turn it on and you say, wow,
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: this environment's jumping off the screen to me, and like
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: it's at the SEC at night. I'm not surprised, but wow,
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: this feels a little extra that I think is how
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: this game will feels Saturday. So much so that my
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: wife formerly worked at Alabama in recruiting and marketing with
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: Sabin for a long time. We're doing lsu vany Saturday.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: I'm getting strong requests to make an off the record
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: trip down there for the game Saturday night.
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: So you may see me down there off the record,
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: off the record. It's not a faull. Don't lie. It's
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: like a non sanctioned attended game. If I go yeah,
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: weather weather permitting, of course.
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, Yeah, listen, we know this. This environment's gonna
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: jump off the screen. We're having our the sikos we
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: got in the shop. We got what three three Tennessee guys,
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: one Bama guy.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Yeah, five, We'll be we'll be, we'll be like we
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: will be live.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Streaming this game on Saturday night, So tune into the
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: Bus with the Boys channel will be live streaming this game.
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: It's an unbelievable vibe in the studio for those who
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: can't see right now, because you it's usually jovial.
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: Everyone's smiling. Everyone is frowned with their arms crossed, staring
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: at us. Right now.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: It's it's like, yeah, they're trying to stay composed. But
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: you look at Garrett over there and his foot's just
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: been going the whole time.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Jack's just.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: Over there, like, yeah, keep paying all.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Us before we before we close the shot. If this
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: line was that nine and a half, would you lean
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: towards Tennessee?
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: I would need ten and a half or more to
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: go to Tennessee. Yeah, I got it. I got it
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: right at ten.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: That's the model, the model model, and the model does
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: love Michigan this week.
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: The model loves Michigan. Do you love Michigan? I love
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: you do love Michigan.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: I love Michigan.
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: So you and the model love Michigan. I would go
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: with Michigan. William, would you go with Michigan this weekend?
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: I'm not gonna bet that game.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: I thought about getting on Washington, but I watched the
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: Washington games and they do they struggle to get going early.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: I just think Michigan, you know they're gonna have to
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: get it to where they're not playing from behind because
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: Washington's score points.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: I think the quarterback number two, he's very good. Yeah,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: he'll be running around.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: And I only jump on that just because it's like
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: I hear like when you hear, you know, folks talk
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: about Michigan, they talk about you know, they want to
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: out physical, you make it. They're going to run the
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: ball on but get him in the second half. They're
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: known for defense and everything else. I just feel like
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: that mindset is more so tied to the twenty twenty
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: three national championship team and not the product that they've
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: kind of had on the field over the last couple
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: of years. Just because again, if they're going to actually
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: be a contender in the Big Ten, look at you know,
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: whether it's a college football playoff or a Big Ten
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: title game, get in there like it's going to be.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: They're gonna have to take the governor off of fucking
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Bryce Underwood. He's gonna have to show that he can
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: just win.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: They got to hit the governor of Price on the road.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: But they've also got to do it in a way
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: that's like not just Brady Bryce, you just throw the
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: whole time, Like there needs to be creative play calling
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: that time.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: No, I agree, yes, yeah, I'm not saying like is
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Bryce good or not? Yeah, you're right, I'm not saying that.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: I don't disagree with.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I think twenty one to two and three, the three
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: years we made the playoffs, it was strong run game,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: but having a balance of pass as well and a
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: very very strong defense that's going to suffocate you. I
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: think it was a fleck who said, like they're a
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: bowl constrictor, and that very much is it. You see
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: pieces of that. Even last year we couldn't throw the
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: ball at all if I'm a defensive standpoint and running
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: the football, And this year it's like it feels like
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: we okay, we now we know we can pass a
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: little bit, but how do you now implement the pass
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: while still you know, putting the run, having still having
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: a strong run game because it is built on explosives.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: It is built on Hey, we're gonna we're gonna wear
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you down over and over again, and we're gonna keep
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: popping these explosives on you. Do they feel that they
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: can do that while they're still trying to throw the
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: football as well. So it feels like there is a
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: identity crisis to me a little bit on the opposite
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: of the ball, that's what. So all the things you're saying,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I don't I don't disagree.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: Because it's like, it's like, if you get in third
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: and long, third and longer, it's almost like, I wonder
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: what they're gonna call here, are they gonna convert?
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Whereas in the if you go take a bubble screen,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: we have your your receivers blocking in the perimeter, and
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: if you're in third and nine, it's like, do we
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: have the horses right now of the speed and the
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: elusiveness to get nine yards if you're just throwing a
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: little bubble screen out there real quick, I personally would
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: like to see pressing down the field, which we did
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: a little bit in the second half against.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: The USC right right, Yeah.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: The point, yeah, the point I was making was in
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: the identity that Michigan is assuming they have from the
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: National championship team is you're rarely in third long situations.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: It's like it could be third four and four and below,
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: and it's like, oh, they're going to find a way
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: to convert here because they're just bigger, stronger, tough for
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: more physical all the stuff. Now they're getting the third longer,
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: and it's like the creativity offensively, it's almost like it's
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: they don't know really how to convert these third longs,
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: and then they're kind of fighting to get back and
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: it's not a team that can win from behind. Are
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: So I'm personally staying away from the Washington because I
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: just don't know what brand of Washington football we're going.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: If they win, it's like they're only lost right now
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: is to Ohio State. They're only loss to me if
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: they beat Michigan.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: It's like Ohio State, you can confirm that this is
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: an ellite football team because they handled them at Washington
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: held them in what six nine points something like that.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: And also Washington deserves a lot more respect because their
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: only loss right now would be against Ohio State because
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: they're not even in the top twenty five.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: Think about what could happen to Oregon this weekend. Oregon
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: plays Rutgers. No one's paying attention to that game, longest
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: trip of the year for them, by the way. So
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: Oregon plays USC later in the year, plays Washington later
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: in the year. Not a lot of attention on those
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: games at the moment. Over the span of a few hours, Saturday.
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: If you were to have the upsets, if USC were
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: to go into South Bend and win, and or, but
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: especially or, and if Washington also beats Michigan, You've got
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: two games all of a sudden on Oregon schedule. USC
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: and Washington. They playing back to back last two weeks
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: of the regular season. They could end up being a
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: nightmare for them. Something to keep an eye on.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Something to keep an eye on.
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: Feel good fellas a lot of text me flying those
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: two weeks. Love you, appreciate you, big coug sinny kisses.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: What is it? Oh gosh, yes, it was so much fun.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: We almost got away from the dogs of the week.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: Here's mine.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: Look, Willie ces dog of the week Michigan State plus
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: twenty seven and a half. This play is not like
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: I think Michigan State's gonna win. I think they have
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: zero shot winning this game. This is more we have
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: a lot of points out there. Plus twenty seven and
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: a half Indiana coming off big wins. It's like you know,
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: you're looking at you're in the locker room, You're looking at, Oh,
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: Michigan State. They'll probably get out of there winning by
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: twenty four points. So I'm taking Michigan State plus twenty
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: seven and a half.
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: I got Pitt in a huge letdown spot against Syracuse.
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: I love betting backup quarterbacks. I think there's low key
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: value on them. Syracuse plus ten and a half against Pitt.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I got Georgia Tech plus one and a half, taking
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: the money line versus Duke. I can't believe you didn't
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: have Georgia Tech as your dog in the week.
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: I do like him. I just like Cus Moore. I
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: do like him.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Though Duke paid a million dollars for the quarterback, eight
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: million dollars for the quarterback they lost Illinois, I think
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Georgia Tech's for real.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: On the a SEC, we interrupt this episode to bring
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: you the Booston with the Boys token. If you don't
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: already know, the Boys have a profit boost token available
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: every college football Saturday. That's a profit boost on any
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: college football Saturday. Bet Just open up the FanDuel sportsbook
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: Gap this Saturday and look out for the Booston with
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: the Boys.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Prophet boost token parlay parlay. You want to kick it off?
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I told JP I do this in the beginning
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: of the week. I'm holding true to my word. I'm
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: taking South Carolina versus Oklahoma.
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: You know what it is, October? You know what month
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: it is.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Opportunity This week is material playing.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: I don't think it matters, right, I don't think it does.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I don't think it matters.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Injured that dumb.
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: Then you get grocked.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: I got grocked.
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: Yeah, you got aied.
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: I got aied about the myth according to Grot, not me,
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: that is October. Grock actually thinks Cockvember should exist because
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: Beemer's record is better in November. But I replied, you're ai.
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: You don't know what you're talking about. Also, Cockvember does
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: not roll off the tongue like October does. And South
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: Carolina outright Saturday. So I think you're gonna think you're
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: gonna win. I'm taking Mississippi State, by the way, the
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: Missisippi State. I'll take Missippi State plus the points against Florida.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Florida last gasp was last week. You can make a
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: lot of money in college footba all betting a team
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: the week after their last gasp when they're giving points
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: to a very motivated team that needs a signature win.
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: Mississippi State almost had it against Tennessee, and they now
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: got a shot to go on the road or wherever
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: this game. Yeah, I think it's on the road. I'm
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: gonna Missippi State plus the points. I think there's legitimate
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: upset potential in that game.
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: Could you imagine our boy Billy, I might be rooting
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: for chaos here. But Missoo min zoom minus one and
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: a half. They are at Auburn. Auburn emotional loss. You
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: know the touchdown they should have had.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: On the goal line.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: You got Kirby Smart doing the doing the colap like
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: big emotional spot for them. They're coming out of it,
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: They're trying to get up from Missouri coming to town.
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: Can't sleep on Missoo. That's a tough football team right now.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: MISSOO is favored by one and a half. I like
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: Missoo at Auburn to cover.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: And that is our parlay.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: So both of you guys are part is a chaos
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: parlay in mine.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Yes, yes, the bust and parlay the boy the locker
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: room parlay.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: South Carolina plus five and a half, Missoo minus one
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: and a half and Mississippi State plus eight and a half.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: App that totals out the plus six fourteen Big hug
