- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to another episode of The Social Proof Podcast where David's trying to get us canceled in the very first 12 seconds.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: We are here.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: My name is Donnie Wiggins.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: I am your favorite business coach or this episode might challenge that.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sitting here with.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_04]: What is it?
- 0:17[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I don't think it's going to challenge that.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to challenge that.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: I can't be challenged.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_04]: My name is David Shins.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm your nor founder.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_04]: Founder.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: Founder.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_04]: I went to TechStars, the TechStars of it.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_04]: TechStars is a company that pretty much gathers money from investors to invest in companies.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_04]: Like, why Combinator is a, it's like an accelerator, essentially, so this is a new world to me, so you might be versatile in this already, but accelerator,
- 0:52[SPEAKER_04]: The Y-commonator, I think they were accelerated for Stripe, like people who have these ideas, Mailchimp, something like that Uber.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_04]: So somebody has an idea, you go through this little training, program class, they put a seat money into your business, and you go build the thing, all right?
- 1:08[SPEAKER_04]: So TechStars is, I think they're Atlanta-based chapter, I was there this past week, and what was crazy?
- 1:16[SPEAKER_04]: is I knew no one and with even crazier is no one knew me not even like two my own horn or anything like that it's just if we're in Atlanta we have a network of some might look familiar as well maybe like one one or one person one person but that was uh it's a whole new world and they were using language and
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: have that make you feel.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_04]: It made me feel amazing like I'm in the right room.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: So that you can learn new things.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_04]: The questions that they were asking didn't even make sense sometimes.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_04]: Why doesn't that look like I didn't understand there's so many things that I just didn't understand and I said wow there are rooms in the city that you live in that are having conversations about things you need to know about but you have
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: How do we find out where all these rooms are?
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: There should be a website for that.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Let's build it.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's building.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a new idea alert.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: New idea.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we're talking before we started recording.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about what to do with a lot of money that we have that's just been sitting for a year.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, more at this point.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, we've,
- 2:35[SPEAKER_04]: done our money bad bro like because we always just be having money in account the the first time we started having it before we bought the building how long that money just said years.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's like the dust man.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: We literally had a significant amount of money just sitting in our account for a couple of years and now we're back in the same situation.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: Are we bad business partners?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: Are we bad business partners?
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: We make money but we don't multiply the money that we make together.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and we say we're going to do a lot of stuff together, and we just don't, but here's how I feel Talk to me.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: We will sit down and think through ideas and map them out.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'll send a follow up Google Doc.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then you'd be like,
- 3:28[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what you got to do with that, but I know what's going to do with it.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: Helling you, that's how I feel when this is how I feel.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_03]: That's for you.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we get together, we'll go to lunch, we'll finally have the meeting.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: We map everything out.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: We might even do a follow-up call, we're exchanging notes.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: We're really excited.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'll type everything up, frame it out, and then you'll hit me with a, but I don't want to fulfill nothing.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_04]: This is this one time.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: No, you think you've said that to me one time.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: So, you've said that to me for you guys at this point.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_04]: Give me an example.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, with the social proof playbook stuff that we were putting together.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: If you put it together,
- 4:10[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so with the pastry on that we were going to do the second time.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I want I didn't say I didn't want to do that.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_04]: What I'm saying and long as you do it, what happens here's what happens.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_04]: We'll talk about it, go through it, we'll meet for lunch, we'll have the idea and then
- 4:26[SPEAKER_04]: You get busy what you're doing.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_04]: I get busy what I'm doing and we don't, I think the biggest problem is we don't talk often enough.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: Any more, what happened?
- 4:38[SPEAKER_04]: I got my kids.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: You do have a lot of kids.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's been, I think that's been most of it.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_04]: My journey of having kids, family, stuff like that.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: You got a lot of kids, but you had a lot of kids when we were doing stuff before.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_04]: you didn't.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_04]: So, Psalm is two, psorias four, so I think it's 21, she's a new born baby, but now they're bigger and they're in, they want to go to catch you all the time and they want to have a movie night and you know what happened?
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: You had this breakthrough where you committed to being home by like five or six of class every night.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: But the thing is, we never talked around five or six of clock in after every night.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: We always talk during the day.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm not in person, but I was always working.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_04]: You're always working.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_04]: So it wasn't even a six o'clock, it's a wrap.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not even thinking of like, I'm thinking of, but I can't because I'm like, what my kids are wearing and not stuff like that.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not thinking of it either.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that you got busy with kids.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: But I have always pride at myself in being a person that didn't handle their business just because you're dating or had kids or all the things.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: And here's the thing, I handle all of my business.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's just what we decide to do.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I don't know why that is though, because I'm the same way.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_04]: Like if I have a plan, like what we're supposed to do for the day and knock it out?
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: Knock it out.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_04]: It's just when I don't know.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_04]: We just,
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: I was up literally until after two o'clock this morning working.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: I had to be back up by 6.34, 6.45 call, then a 7.38 am meeting, then an 8.15 gym appointment, then a 9.15 am meeting.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: And now we're here, like I handle my business for sure.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_04]: But there's just, I don't think we've prioritized the ideas that we're doing.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_04]: Is it together?
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe not.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: I was about to say, is it the comfort of already being financially,
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: good.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes that says no, but then I think about I have other partnerships with other people and I go hard there.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, so that's it.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: Is that what it is?
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: Are you feeling jealous?
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you do too.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: You've executed partnerships on projects with other people.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: I've got projects with other people and partnerships with other people.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: There's something.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Are we beefing?
- 7:07[SPEAKER_04]: No, we're not beefing.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_04]: We're talking through it in a very transparent way in front of our audience.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_04]: Are we being vulnerable?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my God, and as you say that like my partnerships with other people, I got a specific role and I think before I even go into a partnership, I'm saying this is what I'm going to do and this is my box So it's not a bigger responsibility, but I think when we approach it with us, it's like, yeah, I got to do my part.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_04]: You got to do my part and we both got to like
- 7:38[SPEAKER_04]: it's us focused on it.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_04]: And what we don't have the capacity to focus on that and the stuff that we're already focused on, maybe.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I have a very specific role all the time too, which is typically in the area of operations and strategy.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a 50% responsibility to build those things.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think that we do so much of similar things that may be, but we also have some very different things that we do.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's because we're still trying to build something together in a space that you and I desire to move away from.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_04]: I explain that.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: you don't want to be a coach anymore.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: You're not a coach anymore.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_04]: You're mentor.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_04]: I coach in the morning meet up.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: You're a coach inside of your community, but you're not looking for clients and all the things I've pulled back from accepting clients.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm full.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: We'll still hit me up.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what I feel like.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm also a coach and a mentor and all the things.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: But we keep creating these offers where we're coaching people.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: And we're really good at it.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: But I think maybe the lack of excitement.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: is because we're creating offers and things that we already do instead of creating like a new and exciting idea.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: Because our offers often compete.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like when we do high ticket offers, I have to put my high ticket offer to the side.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like I can't sell our high ticket offer and mine at the same time.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: Which just doesn't make sense.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe that's why the building worked out well because it was so different.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_04]: It's not like you've got buildings.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_04]: I got buildings and then we got this building because like, you know, this is the one focus.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_04]: I call you a. It is what we need.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_04]: You call me this what we need.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_04]: And it worked out.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_04]: We got it going.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_04]: and sold it.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_04]: We exited the building.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: We had an exit.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: That was a business transaction.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: We sold it.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: We made money on it.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: We had an exit, technically.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_04]: So maybe that's why that worked because it didn't compete with anything both of us have independently.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: So in this season right now of many entrepreneurs downsizing, should we buy a building to serve entrepreneurs?
- 9:59[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, maybe here's I think you're maybe another challenge, well, oh, I don't, we still got to get to my build.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_04]: I think if we, whatever we do, we take this money and y'all, if y'all could think of something through this conversation because we have a little bit of money that's just sitting there.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's not quite a little.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_04]: We've got to, we have some money.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: We have some money.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_04]: That's that sitting there and we're trying to figure out what to do with it.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_04]: And I think the way this is going to work is we take a portion of that money and whenever we decide to do, we hire someone to full-time run that business.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: So we did recently take a portion of the money and we invested it into trading.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: And we essentially partnered with someone who's going to be managing our trading portfolio.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: But we started small there.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: We could have gone bigger.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I think once this cycle is over, we'll go bigger.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: So we did take some money and we've put it into the markets and we're doing that.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: But we still have a large portion.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, we didn't, I didn't even notice that money being gone, honestly.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like, did we really do what we should have done there?
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, I look at the account.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even notice the money is gone.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, what if we built like a faceless brand that didn't depend on us?
- 11:34[SPEAKER_04]: I like that.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_04]: and we hire someone to build it.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: They just hire somebody to build it, to run it.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: They just have to take our ideas.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: What if we try our hand as a 100% like AI business?
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: What if we, you know what they, we've literally just talked about an idea that I texted you about a month ago, and you loved it.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_04]: Let me see.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_04]: Because I do remember the feeling of loving it.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: You loved it.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_04]: And then I remember he said he said, and I was like, okay, cool, I'm with it.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, you said this gets me excited.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but in the same thing happened to all the other things that we just said.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_04]: I try to remember what it was, what was it, what was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was
- 12:23[SPEAKER_04]: Find it.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's the problem, right?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_04]: We was excited and nobody gave it a remember.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: And nobody, like why can't we remember this idea?
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: We can't remember because we have so many ideas often.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: But that idea was a really good one.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I think I started mapping out a playbook for it.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll have to get home on my laptop and see.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: But dang, I can't even say that's the idea anymore.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: No, because I don't remember what it was.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I don't even know.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_04]: Well, hopefully we come.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_04]: We get back.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_04]: I do remember you say it's something like, oh, this is something we can execute on.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_04]: And we have enough money to hire around it.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, and let's talk about this too.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_04]: So.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_04]: We were just having a conversation, which I thought was really, really cool.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_04]: You all know we did the episode, for those that I watched, and we did the episode about the my first million conference, which was the best conference in the world for entrepreneurs.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_04]: And I mean, we got a rave reviews about it.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, man, I don't want to do it anymore.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_04]: And Donnie's like, yo, came here as I yell.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_04]: I still want to do it.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_04]: She's like, yo, change the name or something like that.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_04]: And then she's like, well, I don't know something happened where we thought about it, where she doesn't really need to change the name.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_04]: We built something together.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_04]: And Donnie's like, yo, I want to move forward with it.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_04]: And guess what?
- 13:57[SPEAKER_04]: I don't mind.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_04]: And I said, I'll support.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: David said, OK, and it wasn't that you said you didn't want to do it.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: The last time we discussed it, we said it would just be virtual and we were stuck on like a back end offer and then we just never came back to it.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: And when that happens, that lets me know that you don't want to do it.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I don't feel it.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_04]: I don't feel it.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: David doesn't want to fit.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: And this is what you tell me all the time.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: There's another example.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_04]: Recent no no.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_04]: This is a recent last four or five months.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: No, Dave.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: This is a recent last two years.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: You've been saying.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, one thousand.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_04]: So the episode.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_04]: Remember we did the episode with.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_04]: We did episode Alex.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_04]: We did the episode with.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_04]: uh... which are friends that was different we can't let you see a rock are you so we saw it supposed to build out that direction but it wasn't like we didn't want to do it anymore is just we don't talk about it until we talk about it right but the thing is uh... so i came in this morning i said
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: My first million live, people are asking, people actually ask me about it.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: In my community, people DM me and ask me, are we doing the conference?
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I just didn't have an answer.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm planning all these things that I want to do, and I'm really connected to what we taught there at that conference.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I can do that in my sleep.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: is innate to my gifts and abilities, and I want to do it with you, but essentially I came in today, and I'm like, I'm gonna do it.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: And Dave's like, do what?
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: I said my first million alive, and he's like, what do you mean?
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, I'll just change the name.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, don't change the name, just do it.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: And um,
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think I should just do it.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_04]: I think it should.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: But I still want it to be virtual.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if that robbs the experience.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's a lot of things that you are going to have to think through.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then I said today, but I really want you to do it with me.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: And he said, I mean, cool.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't want to fulfill.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, and I say, I will be, I will definitely support in any way.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_04]: You need me to do something.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if, you know, doing an event.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_04]: It's so much of your brain for such a long period of time.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_04]: It's consuming.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_04]: It never really makes, it's never worth it.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_04]: Unless you're doing like a brand player, you're doing something like some sort of a heart player, and it's around something else.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_04]: profitable or or profitable enough for it to make it worth them last five months that you've been playing.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: So why keep doing it?
- 16:43[SPEAKER_04]: That's why I said I didn't want to do it.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: No, but other events.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so I got I got podcast summit in me.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_04]: I got one event in me that I could do.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_04]: But that's that is now leading into
- 16:58[SPEAKER_04]: a particular goal that I have already with this software.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_04]: So it makes sense, but yeah, it's, oh my gosh.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: My first million live for sure makes sense.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_04]: It's October, November, December, three months.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that I would still do it in December.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: I might start the year off with it.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I might, I should start the year off with it.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: Got ding it.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_04]: You're gonna do it.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna do it.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_04]: Good.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: My first million live.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: January.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
- 17:55[SPEAKER_04]: I'm I'm pushing you to do like a event like a Doddy I think the streets have been waiting for a Doddy Wiggins event, and I remember I was like pushing you He was like, all right, I'mma do it.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_04]: I'mma do it.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_04]: I'mma do it.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_04]: And then you did it and you did it.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_04]: didn't like it moving up to the event and the event was it was good and he's like oh my God, I hated that.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: I will never do it again.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my Jesus Christ I hated everything it is.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_00]: The only part that I don't hate is the actual event.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like teaching and the result and doing what I do with the planning, the logistics, the back end, dealing with all these people and just all the things.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's
- 18:33[SPEAKER_04]: Here's something out.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_04]: Here's a way.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it it take away from whatever we are going to do together, but you'll probably need maybe Let's just round it up a hundred thousand dollars.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_04]: You put a $100,000 into this thing, run ads, you get the venue, you get the staff, you get an event planner, maybe like 100,000.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_04]: It'll cost more than $100,000, but you probably need a hundred to get going, so that you're not in a deficit and didn't take it sales come in and start to cover it.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_04]: So wrapping everything you need around you and your brand is already strong enough, I think you'll be fine, but what we'd have to do is, you would have to take 100, and I'd take 100 from our account and you just take that, allocate that 100 to do with it.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_04]: And if you make more than the 100, and you want to put it back, then we just put it back, and because I'm not going to spend it, but if you take 100, I'm taking mine.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: You take 100 out, I'm taking mine.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_04]: You put it back, and we can do something else later.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: That is an idea.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's an option.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: That is an option.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know that, yeah, for sure, that's an option.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, my first million live, I can teach people how to be seven figure income earners.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: This is what I do.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_04]: You got enough relationships, friends.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: This is not an option.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: Should it still just be a day of me teaching?
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: Or do I now bring in other people?
- 20:06[SPEAKER_04]: Do we do one day or two days one we did one day?
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: We had our birthday party and then we did the conference I don't know what's in your heart What's in your heart It's my event My event oh my gosh, I feel like we just had like like
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: Are you abandoning me?
- 20:36[SPEAKER_03]: No, I'll be there.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, somebody said, this is the funniest thing.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: I read on, when we were talking about the my first million live conference on the last podcast that we talked about it on, somebody said in the comments, Donnie is always leaching herself to whatever Dave has going on.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_03]: Who's her dad?
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody coming in.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, in the comments.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: And it was so funny because,
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: That was my idea.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_04]: Nonny, nonny, nonny, nonny, nonny, nonny, nonny, all right?
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, first of all, let me just be clear with you guys.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: David literally drags me into it.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_04]: All of a sudden, conferences are never your idea, like, let's do it.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: that one was.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no, no.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we were actually I have the recording I think.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: We do.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_04]: We're always thinking about what I think we are still thinking okay, what are we going to do for our birthdays?
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_04]: And we were just going back and forth.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: We knew it would be a cover.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we didn't know that.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_04]: We just thought figure out what, first we was like, yeah, we're going to do a trip.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we're going to do something.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: So now we would have to do something different for our birthdays.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: but you guys for the person who said that like I'd be trying to tell David know so much stuff and I say no or don't respond to more than I do respond to.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: I have David.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_00]: introduces me to opportunity after opportunity after opportunity.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: Some I say yes to, some I say no to, but I'm not going over the day like I need you to build my business.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: We aren't doing anything together right now because of this podcast.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: Why do people have the most astronaut contributions and thoughts and comments?
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: You guys I was super successful and I have been for quite some time.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_04]: I put an appreciation post for a meal my wife made.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's like, how do you want to go about that?
- 22:29[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_04]: I understand you feel stuck in your business and I know why.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_04]: So one of these four things are off.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_04]: Either you don't have a coach, you don't not a create content, you don't have a strong cash flow model or you don't have a community.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_04]: And this is exactly why I created the morning meetup.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_04]: Listen, y'all been watching this podcast for years now.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_04]: For $97 a month, I've been coaching entrepreneurs every single week.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_04]: but right now I have a different goal to invite 10,000 members in.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_04]: So for a very limited time, this community is like 19 dollars a month.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_04]: You will get me live every single Monday.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm answering your questions every single Tuesday.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_04]: We got community day every Friday.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_04]: So you need a coach.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody understands business.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_04]: You need to understand a great content.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_04]: We teach that every single week.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_04]: You also need a strong cash flow model.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_04]: That's what the social ownership thing is about.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_04]: And number four, you have to have a community.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_04]: I want to connect with other entrepreneurs.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_04]: that are in your backyard from around the country.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_04]: I used to click the link below or at theinmorningmeda.com 19 bucks a month that you locked in.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: But, um, it was a woman, who is that?
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: What does that say?
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the thing.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: The majority of the attacks that I get, like stuff like that, be from women.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, yo, ugh.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_04]: No, you know what?
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: My touch would be from women too.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's a, it'd be from women.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so is it like a woman thing?
- 23:48[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, I don't know, bro.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: Internet thing.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe women in our community are spending more time on the Internet, or maybe we have more female following.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_00]: But when I see comments like that,
- 24:02[SPEAKER_00]: My first response is just ill.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: How miserable it must be to be you.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: I pray that you can find a business partner that you work so well with together, that you can attach yourself to everything, every single idea, because you're working and you're winning and you're making money and you're impacting people.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: I actually pray that into your life.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: How I pray that into my life, we keep trying to,
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: figure out something that we can attach ourselves to together.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: I pray for me and Dave that we can attach ourselves to something professionally and impact a lot of people and make a whole lot of money.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know which I'll be thinking is going on over here.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they would never understand it because nobody wants to be attached to it.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's strong.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if you haven't.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_04]: You know, like there are successful people hang out with successful people for a reason and there are people that aren't successful that have everything negative to say about successful people because you can't get in that room.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_04]: But once you become successful you become the person that the unsuccessful people talk about.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_04]: And you like, no, I'm so misunderstood.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_04]: What do you mean?
- 25:06[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not like, yes you are to them.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_04]: To them.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_04]: So like there should be.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_04]: Man, listen, I love people who have great relationships, and I think that's one of the hardest things to build, so you can't let somebody typically
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: typically the people that are talking about people in their relationships aren't in one or they're not good at it and they've maybe somehow convince themselves I don't need a business partner.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_04]: I don't need a relationship.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_04]: I don't need a spouse.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_04]: I don't because just nobody want to be attached to you.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody wants to be attached to you or they've attached themselves to you and you're consistently unsuccessful at it.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_00]: I pray for everybody who's watching this.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: I wish upon your life that
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: you find a partner two or three that you can connect with on project after project after project and people can't do anything but say, wow, they just keep on winning.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and we got a bunch of money and we handle issues.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_04]: Typically, when money comes into fold, people separate.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: We've never had an issue in business.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: We never really had an issue period.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: We never really had an issue.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: We had one issue.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: You upset me one time.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_03]: What I do.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: you like didn't have my back on something.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: And we want Instagram live.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: And you were like, well, I kind of see their perspective.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, you don't.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, obviously in perspective.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, you don't, you don't see this perspective.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: But this perspective is called mass.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_04]: I see their perspective.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: No, this perspective was so bad.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: And people, I don't remember.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_00]: But people were in the comments.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: And they were like, you wrong for that day.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: If you wrong, I don't remember.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: But you irritated me that day.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: I ended that live.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: And I think I sent you a text instead.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: You should have had my back on that.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember what it was.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember either, but that's how insignificant it is.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: In the 11 years that I've known now, I don't know what it is.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: You can't, but you can't send a blanket at Apology.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_04]: I think you can.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, can you send a blanket at Apology?
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm going to send a general Apology for something.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know why I'm apologizing.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, so like if if you felt the way about something that I did and I don't even remember doing it or I don't know Or even understand why you upset about that?
- 27:24[SPEAKER_04]: I can apologize because you're but we have to we have to recall what it was And then apologize and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna apologize
- 27:34[SPEAKER_04]: You know why?
- 27:35[SPEAKER_04]: Because no matter what it is, your feelings about the situation are valid.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because in that moment, I felt unprotected as a woman.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: I felt that I always have your back.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: I speak loudly and boldly, and I'd be ready to throw both hands.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm in that moment, you said, I get where they're coming from, and I think it was a man.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: and I was up there, 1,000%.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_04]: But here's what's here is also has to be true.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_04]: You don't.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_04]: I know in that moment, you don't think that I was intentionally trying to not protect you or intentionally trying to, it might have been ignorance where I'm just being myself.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_04]: But I know you don't think I was trying to hurt or embarrass you.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_04]: Do you think that?
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that felt very, really?
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: No, you weren't trying to hurt or embarrass me.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: But it was a clear.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: This one was a clear.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: How do you know you're a member of the West?
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember what I was.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_00]: I remember the feeling.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: I remember the scenario.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember what that person did to me, where you, it was like the person.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember the person.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: It was like some big attack.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, nope.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: I have your back all the time.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_04]: I don't earn so we would have to like remember with that.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: We went on Instagram live.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: We were on Instagram live and you and I were talking to someone said something to comment you say no we went on Instagram live to talk about whatever it was.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: But you don't remember what it was before we did that.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like off the camera, it was like, yeah, that was foul and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but then we got on camera and you were like, I kind of started for a second.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: Now, okay, now we're going a little far.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_04]: But that's what I would not change my, I've never changed my position because of cameras on.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's it's not because the cameras were on.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: I was taken back because on life, you're now seeing their position.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying you did it for the cameras.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm saying privately, it was like, wow.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_04]: It's probably a mess up, but maybe I'm looking at it from, if someone is attacking me, I can see their perspective.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_04]: So, Vincent, and I don't even really want to talk about this person, but I actually, even though he's attacking me a lot, I, I respect him, actually.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: So, Christ.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, sure.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_04]: So, no.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely not.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: I draw the line there.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_04]: Who do you think I'm talking about?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: You ain't finished shouting that out.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_04]: No, probably not the person you're talking about, but, um, no, you got to do this.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_04]: That has the show.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: Technically, they do.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: our money is slow.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: The name that he was about the name is up every day at a week.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely not.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_04]: So I've been way more attacked by that person than you.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, sure.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and let me be clear.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm catching strays because of you.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, school.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the conversation.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: Been squeaky clean for so long, but I catch strays.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't mind.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: I catch strays because of you.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_04]: So the...
- 31:02[SPEAKER_04]: I say that to say, I respect this person, even though they attack me a lot, and I understand why he comes at me because maybe I have a brand and he's doing his jobs for his particular show.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_00]: And for clarity, because y'all are gonna go crazy in the comments, it's not the person, it's not the most obvious person that you guys think, we're not talking about that person.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's somebody else.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_04]: As far as I have the show, that's where the name of the show.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, if I've seen him in the streets,
- 31:36[SPEAKER_04]: I would not be upset.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just saying you're perspective.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't make your perspective right, but I understand it.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm saying that to say, I'm not going to say, I'm not saying something to not protect you, but I wouldn't say about myself.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_04]: So even a person that just recently did a little podcast thing about me, I'm like, I understand you're perspective.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: I gotta stay there.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_04]: Totally, it's totally wrong, and most of the stuff
- 32:07[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't even make sense, but I understand your perspective.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_04]: I get it.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think though that as a friend understanding the other person that's definitely wrong has a time in a place.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_04]: Which, oh, just because it was wrong.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_04]: OK.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_00]: Not even just because it's on live.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like in that moment, we were talking about something.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: Really wish this situation.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was hurtful and upsetting to me.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna get where they're coming from.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: When they were absolutely wrong, like the wrongness of it wasn't debatable, we weren't debating that, right?
- 32:46[SPEAKER_00]: If it's wrong, it's like, it's like, if someone close to you came to you and said, this person just accused me of the worst thing ever, let's say, Drake came to you.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: And she said, someone's on the internet slandering me,
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: I am cheating on you and all the things and how could they say that and this is somebody who's hurting me and I'm crying and I'm in tears and you're like gosh, well we know that's not true.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: But I could kind of understand their perspective.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_00]: You would do that?
- 33:24[SPEAKER_04]: Well, the thing about what happened in a situation where none of us remember what was said or what so like semantics are important here, right, that I say, oh, I feel it in one way he said that or I understand a perspective or I understand why they would do that, that's a big difference.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_04]: I understand your perspective, oh, I feel you me say, I understand why they would do that.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_04]: What else would they do?
- 33:53[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I think though I have to take some ownership in the situation because I will respond based on what I would have done in the situation.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: And nobody can say nothing to me about you.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: Period.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: Wrong writer in different.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm never going to take somebody else's perspective or even try to understand it publicly when it comes to you.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: Or anybody that I'm deeply connected to, we can talk about it offline.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think that part of what I felt that day was because I'm like, I would never do this.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_04]: If this is hurt, I really wish we could like roll to take back because I'm really interesting because I don't remember, you don't remember, you remember how you felt, which means your feelings are valid.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_04]: But however long ago this was, the story that's playing in your mind right now,
- 34:49[SPEAKER_04]: has to be different than the way it played out or the context of what was happening.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_00]: Also now you call me a liar.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not calling a liar, but now you tell me, I'm crazy.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_04]: I don't remember what happened.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_04]: If you and Breed.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_04]: four years ago, you were bringing wits in a club, and both of y'all would tell two different stories about what happened, even though both of y'all was there because as time goes on, things happened, but I'm just curious about how it was said and I can't defend it to say, well, it didn't happen the way you said it.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_00]: So we moved on from it, but the whole point was that was the one time in 11 years.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: And this young lady in the comment, hair by Shamila is saying, the difference is I'm not his wife.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: So you don't have to be somebody spouse in order to,
- 35:37[SPEAKER_00]: treat people the way that they feel like you should treat them, right?
- 35:41[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not David Spouse, but I am one of his closest friends, one of his best friends, and his business partner.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: So we have a very serious, deep relationship based on that.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: And when you have that type of a component, there are expectations and there are codes of conduct and all the things.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to be somebody spouse to treat them well.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: My best is not how life works.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't, I just felt like in that moment, you didn't have my back the way I always have yours.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_04]: And that's fair.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_03]: That's fair.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: But you can apologize, right?
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_04]: I can, because...
- 36:43[SPEAKER_04]: I apologize for doing something that didn't make you feel comfortable.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_04]: So when I'm talking to my wife, if she feels away, then I have to even though I feel like I was in a right or I didn't hurt you or intentionally whatever, if you feel away, I apologize for whatever I did that hurt you.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: Right, for whatever you did, but I think it's important for us, I'm going to remember it.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to come back.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: like, is it important to remember if I were apologizing to my daughter or my mom or Bree, or any of my friends?
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: Can we do that?
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all tell us in the comments.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like you should know what you're apologizing for.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: Is it just as easy?
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: Is it just enough to say?
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: I just apologize blanketly for hurting your feelings.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't even know what I'm apologizing for.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_00]: Because if we don't, if we don't know what it's for and a apology, I think without
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: discussing what the correct behavior is going forward is null and void like what if happens again.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: Then your apology is nothing.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: And for clarity guys, we are not angry with each of you.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_04]: This is a good healthy conversation.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_00]: But we have this conversation.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: After it happened, I promise you, like the comments were so crazy.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about it on a podcast before, so now I got to go back and search.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's find it.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: We got to find it.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: David did me dirty.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_04]: What you were saying was like, can we apologize?
- 38:04[SPEAKER_04]: I think my perspective for me is I judge every situation based on the intent.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_04]: Did you intentionally try to hurt me?
- 38:13[SPEAKER_04]: If you intentionally try to hurt me, then we
- 38:16[SPEAKER_04]: then I'm more hurt.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_04]: But if there was like a something that you did where you thought it was going to or you thought you were doing something right, but to me it wasn't.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I'm upset at the situation, but
- 38:33[SPEAKER_04]: you the person is more important to me than the situation so that's why I have no problem apologizing for me doing something that hurts someone that I care about because I don't have the hold on to I was right or wrong.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay well then I accept your apology and I also apologize for expecting from you what I would do because that's not fair either like it's just not fair.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's not fair.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I apologize.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: This is why we have in the 11 year healthy relationship, great friendship, and I don't even know how many years in business partnership at this point because we can talk.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_00]: And that's also why we've never really had an issue because before it gets to an issue, we discuss it, right?
- 39:19[SPEAKER_00]: People have always been so confused about our relationship, like consistently, even this young lady that continues to be in the comments.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: David and I are able to have the relationship that we have and he has a wife and I've dated significantly at the same time is because we get together and we talk about this stuff.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: You guys Everybody's on board.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: We know what it is.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_02]: But what we're going to do with this money?
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's all.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_04]: Can you center her camera a little bit please?
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: So what are we going to do with this money?
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: So for those of you who might just be joining us live, and those of you who forgot what the conversation is about, we have a good amount of money for some people like life-changing money that we have just been sitting on for a very long time.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, too long.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: too long.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_00]: In our initial goal, I think initially we said we were going to buy another building.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but the window, we did it wrong in terms of like the 1031 exchange thing.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_04]: As we were supposed to identify a property and do it at closed.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_04]: And we thought we could just sell it then buy something within that time window.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: So the idea didn't we talk about like,
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: even renting a property, the idea that I had that you were excited about was something around, let's just rent a property because there are some instances where it makes sense for us to rent.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: Um, gosh, we got to find this idea.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: But you guys tell us what would you do, what would you do if you had access to a significant amount of money and you need to
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: invested somewhere you need to put it somewhere so that money can grow like what should we do what should we do together for you know for clarity so we have our own ideas Davis in the tech space i'm in the coaching space the digital entrepreneurship space not even just digital entrepreneurship anymore and
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: a little in-tech on my end as well.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_00]: So we don't want anything that is a competing offer for what we'll be doing.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: We're looking for money that we earn together to put back into something that we can grow something together with.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe... You sound like Instagram.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was a voice note.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think I sent you a voice note.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_03]: There's no Instagram because I don't know the text.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: I would always text.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm only going to text like an idea.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go through our text messages and find it.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, okay, yeah, we gotta figure this out, man.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: But I wanna know, does anybody have any out-of-the-box ideas?
- 41:57[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you're the person that we need to hire to project manage something.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you have these ideas, you don't have the money, and we can pay you to come on board and figure something out to project manage.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: But it has to be like, in out-of-the-box kind of no-brainer,
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: idea.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: Are you still looking for it?
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm trying to, I don't I mean, I feel like it was like, within the last 90 days and probably in the last 60 days.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_04]: I just remember you talking about saying, not at something we can do.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_04]: That's not.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_04]: And we can do is just something that we can do.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't, I don't know where it's at, because I'm always in August.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think I went back to May.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't see it, but I'm,
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: because I think I sent the message via voicemail because I kind of remember myself saying, okay, hear me out.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_04]: I remember that.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_04]: Search, hear me out or you're full.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_00]: But it was a voicemail.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: Is that going to search?
- 42:57[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, no, no, no, no, I don't know.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_04]: Dang, right?
- 43:02[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, um, we got to figure this out.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_04]: And I think we're not short on good ideas.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_04]: We're short on an idea that works for both of us, our lifestyle, our agendas, you know, working on right now.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_04]: So, I don't know, I don't know.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_04]: Let's figure this thing out.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, any other thoughts?
- 43:32[SPEAKER_00]: This one is gonna bother me.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: This one is gonna bother me so bad, because I mean, is it the idea?
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, no, but I remember, okay, so it was around, it was around bringing the network back and we were going to create shows.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think I talked about hiring talent is any of this, it was right before podcast summit because we said that we would get together after podcast summit to talk about it.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so this was before a podcast on this was before podcast on this was before podcast on it Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:35[UNKNOWN]: Uh-huh.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: Uh
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: Um.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_04]: You got bad to be about so up here.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, yes, yes, it's about the good morning.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you're dating somebody, how soon is Tucson for your nosy friend?
- 45:23[SPEAKER_04]: So we could talk if we have this conversation right now.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_00]: Not in great detail.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_00]: How soon is Tucson for your nosy friend to start doing business with this person?
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: Can I explain the situation?
- 45:41[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_04]: No, you can.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, you cannot.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_04]: Now I want me to detail.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_04]: We're in one room.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_04]: I talk about business entrepreneurship, making money.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_04]: I don't, if it's the waitress at the restaurant.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I, that's the conversation I have.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_04]: Guess what?
- 46:00[SPEAKER_04]: This other person that's in the room talking about the same thing.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_04]: Money.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_04]: How you make money.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_04]: And this is a, this is an investment.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_04]: Our, oh man, that's, that'd be dope.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_04]: When I do invest in it.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_04]: All right, cool, yo.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_04]: And the other person says, take my number.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_04]: I hit you by the investment.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_04]: What did I, and then I get the sheds.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, can I just, I'm like, I love you.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: Can I just figure out what I got going on before you start doing business?
- 46:31[SPEAKER_04]: So, so do I say,
- 46:34[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry, brother.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_04]: I can't give you my number right now.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_04]: That'll be weird.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, don't don't text me about no money right now I just talked about it.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_04]: I know we I know we had this good conversation But that's not what happened.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's chance you did your chance thing.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: So David has a way of Be friending Everybody.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a friend.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a friend.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a friend.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna be friends.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_00]: Right and
- 47:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm extremely private, extremely private.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: But see, here's my history with Dave.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_00]: Dave historically, if I'm like, baby, no, I'm going to ask you for your receipts when you start talking about history.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: Historically, Dave consistently be like, so what's up with this person?
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: What's up with that person?
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: What's up with this person?
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, so I am the type of person that I don't mention to my friends who I date and when I'm dating until it needs to be mentioned, right?
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it's something really just like personal and new for me to like bring people around, especially David, because he starts doing his interview thing.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: And he starts asking questions and all the things.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then he'll throw something out like, so double date?
- 47:53[SPEAKER_04]: No, I didn't say nothing like that.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: But you can do it that time.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: I said historically.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_00]: Historically.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_04]: Over the years like never been to think of one person.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_04]: I did that with no one.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_00]: Are you serious no one?
- 48:09[SPEAKER_00]: What do you name um?
- 48:13[SPEAKER_04]: Who Oh
- 48:20[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you did it there for you put sure him on the phone with me What are you talking about you come on the phone?
- 48:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's you got to say hey, let me talk that wasn't I didn't do that so I think it no you felt like your friend That's oh my gosh that that that that so she said you need another man to vet your dude
- 48:46[SPEAKER_04]: And for sure, I do be wanting to do that too.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, let me check.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_00]: Dave and Ian.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_04]: You can't have a Instagram.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, I might know some of you.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_04]: I might know some too.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: David historically has been the guy who has vetted guys.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_00]: But the reason that I pull back is because David is one of those friends that will start following them.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: They'll say, I saw such a such on the internet.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: And it makes me so uncomfortable.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_04]: I'm supposed to let you know if I see that person around these streets.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: And that ain't ever happy about it.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_04]: But here's also the thing, I am a friendly person.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_04]: And if you are hanging out with another friendly person, don't bring people around me.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_04]: If you want to be a nice person, I'm nice.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_00]: OK, I'm nice.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_04]: But you're sitting like we would have beers together.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_00]: If my home girl brought
- 49:40[SPEAKER_00]: her new guy that she's dating around me, right?
- 49:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to keep it very focused on just them.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to start exchanging numbers and like, oh my God, we got so much in common.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: Let's exchange numbers or with the guy with the girl, it doesn't matter.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let's exchange numbers because we could do blah, blah, blah.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_00]: What is the girl's name?
- 50:01[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to ask you, Doddy.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, let's catch up.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_04]: What's your number?
- 50:04[SPEAKER_04]: What do you say in that situation?
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: You can say, let's catch up, but you know what you should have done.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_00]: What's that?
- 50:12[SPEAKER_00]: You should have hit me and said, this is what we're going to do.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: Are you cool with it?
- 50:16[SPEAKER_04]: First of real quick, Doddy, I'm a grown man.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_04]: And that person says, hey, Doddy, so what's your contact?
- 50:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to look over you, Doug.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_04]: Can I give it to him?
- 50:25[SPEAKER_00]: No, not, you can give the, it wasn't the issue of giving the number.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: It was the depth of the relationship that you were starting to create.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: And oh, I think it was depth of the relationship in historically.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_04]: You might be confused about how deep it got.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe I was talking about the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,
- 50:46[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know anything about this particular investment, so I connect to him with the other person who knows, and I had no other conversation about it.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so here's the thing.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_00]: I realized later that it was a personal insecurity of mine.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_04]: And... Hold on, is this an apology?
- 51:03[SPEAKER_04]: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_04]: Hold on, we might have something here.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_04]: Hold on.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you know.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_00]: I realized later that it was a personal insecurity of mine because historically, when I have dated people, you and other friends of mine will start following them and doing things and then you all start building your relationship and then I'm done with them.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_04]: I've not built a relationship with anybody you've ever taught to unless.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_04]: Shame that devil is hell.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_04]: I knew them and I connected you.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_04]: So give me a receipt.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_04]: I need a receipt.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_04]: Give me one person that I hung out with was Texan, had our relationship with.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_04]: Give me one person.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_00]: I said I'm dropping the issue I have.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: Handle your business out.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_00]: Get over it.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_04]: That's all I was like, okay.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_04]: Because when I saw it, it was a trigger.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_04]: I said I I will never contact this person that's what I said back
- 51:58[SPEAKER_04]: And then, and I want you there, that's not what I want you there.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: But this is right.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we've got to do something and you want to be involved.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_04]: No, I don't want to be, no, no, I'm cool.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_04]: What do you mean?
- 52:09[SPEAKER_04]: Listen, I'm over it now.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_00]: I pissed both of y'all off so bad because the same, what I said to you, I said to him, like, can we just do our thing?
- 52:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then y'all can, am I wrong?
- 52:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, ladies and guys.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_00]: If you bring, and this happened a while ago, if you bring someone that you're dating around one of your best friends and they immediately Anti-up and start like building their own separate relationship The same day is it too soon like should there be like a grace period where they just allow you to get to know your situation and figure it out or
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: Is it cool for everybody to just be friends immediately?
- 52:51[SPEAKER_00]: Even if you're not sure where that dating experience is going to go.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to explain this last caveat.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_00]: I've known this person before you knew the person but we didn't know that it was kind of like I did know that because we didn't know that first start talking about it you was like oh so and so I was like oh so and so I know so and so yeah but I didn't tell you that immediately I told you after a while and then it was like oh I know so and so like we ran into each other on a plane or something like that.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_00]: We ran into each other on a plane that's not home.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_04]: That particular conversation was months before I actually had the situation that you're talking about.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_04]: Where's like, you know, what's your kind to, I'm like, oh, all right, because I know the person.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like you got to get permission.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_04]: Just apologize for that.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I do.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: So here I go again.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_00]: I have a problem.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the problem.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_00]: I expect.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_00]: people to do to me what I would do to them.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_00]: When you introduced me to Andrea, I only built a relationship with Andrea in the beginning with you around.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_00]: Me and Dre at first were not besties.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: We weren't sisters.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_00]: It was when you brought Dre around, we hang out, we do stuff, and all the things.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then after y'all were clearly locked in, I'm like, I like her.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_04]: I still remember.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_04]: And I actually didn't remember what this person was.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_00]: I actually remember asking you how do you feel about me calling Dre without you?
- 54:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like I did.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's just what I do.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, but to this the situation you're talking about, I still has never hung out when I don't think I ever even talked on the phone with this human being.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_00]: the way that I, the way that I saw it in that moment, I was so like, oh my god, there's business partners.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_00]: What's happening to you?
- 54:41[SPEAKER_04]: We're doing this part, we're doing this part.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_04]: You know what, you know what, you know what, I still didn't get them.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_04]: So, and apology.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: I said, it's me.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_00]: Shands.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_00]: Hold on.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_04]: Hold on.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's me as not an apology.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_04]: Why in the world?
- 54:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, this was, this was like the line from a movie just now.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's me.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, first thing's first is that I took accountability for
- 55:09[SPEAKER_00]: I overreacted, right?
- 55:11[SPEAKER_00]: I overreacted.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_00]: I got so nervous.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: I had a mini panic attack.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_00]: I started to think about what if this doesn't work?
- 55:17[SPEAKER_00]: What if we don't get it up?
- 55:19[SPEAKER_00]: What did I do to that?
- 55:19[SPEAKER_00]: Now they're friends.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_00]: They like each other.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_00]: They're doing stuff.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_00]: They got money involved.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_00]: This will be terrible.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because when I'm not dealing with somebody, when we decide to be done,
- 55:30[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know you anymore, like some people.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_00]: There are some people that I still know, but it's so short lived for me that it's like going to live your life.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_00]: You're not intertwined with any of my friends.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_00]: And so we're separate.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have to go through that period of seeing you and people tell me what you're doing.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: And you're definitely a tell me what these people are doing person.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't want you being friends until it's like, you know what I mean?
- 55:52[SPEAKER_00]: But I say this to say.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_04]: What is this?
- 55:59[SPEAKER_04]: Hey so much energy.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_04]: It must've got courage.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_00]: I am sorry to both of you because it just didn't make it.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_00]: So while I still understand my perspective and it's your feelings are valid because it looks like something that happened before.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_04]: So I understand it or whatever situation you had before and having to know me.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_04]: Cause actually you were one of my relationships.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_04]: First off.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's it, and that's the thing, when I'm done, we're all done, but I felt like because now y'all got money involved in something, it can't just be done if it's done.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but yeah, but that situation was different because it was another person that was kind of involved in that and I and I never had a conversation myself.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, I didn't know any of these details.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_00]: It was just like, yeah, we doing some business together and I was like, I'm over there.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_00]: My heart is to do what I mean, to do what I mean, to do what I mean, like what are we even doing?
- 57:04[SPEAKER_00]: Like what do you mean you have all of this concrete plan for this and we don't.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're just going to dinner and all the so to both of you.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_00]: I apologize looking at it months later in hindsight.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: I was wrong and I will never do it again.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_04]: but your feelings are valid.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want you to think that you're a crazy person because you're not.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_04]: It just, you're valid.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_04]: And when, um, when the request is in, I don't think you should have text the way you're telling you.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: And exactly what?
- 57:34[SPEAKER_04]: It's sort of text with shad, exclamation point.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_04]: Ooh, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: Talk.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_00]: Because then, days later, Drey is hitting me up, like, who I heard you was.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_04]: That's my wife.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_04]: I'm happy for months or something.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, can we have, okay, that's another point.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_00]: Can we have pillow talk with our significant others about other people's business?
- 58:09[SPEAKER_00]: I have.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_04]: If it's something serious, then no, you should.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_00]: But it's serious to me.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know how pride I am.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, I don't care that Drey knows my business.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_00]: But I said, see, this is, so everything is like,
- 58:21[SPEAKER_04]: If you could find another human being other than a person I've children with that's already your friend, then I'm in the wrong.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_00]: Aren't a scene?
- 58:28[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't say no, I didn't say.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_00]: I was just guessing there to see what's going on.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: But you don't even have to directly say anything.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all, David is so awkward.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: We could all be standing in a room and David would be like,
- 58:42[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I wouldn't make that face.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_04]: I wouldn't do you make that face.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, come on, Shans, like you might as well tell the world at this point.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_00]: And then you, over the years on the podcast, this used to be a thing, you will get excited and just say stuff that you ain't got no business saying.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: So for you specifically, when I saw that relationship being built, I had a mini panic attack.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_00]: I now don't have to be in control of any grown people.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I think in that moment, I was attempting to control something.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I could also control the outcome.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: And it just is what it is.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 59:26[SPEAKER_00]: I can admit that.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to control that situation so that whatever happened with me, I controlled that part too.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I had to control all of the things that kind of had arms that reached out to it.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I can't I can't business manage my friends and I'm glad that you guys did business I'm glad that you guys are still doing business and I was still doing business.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yes How I'm not doing business?
- 59:59[SPEAKER_04]: I don't I haven't I haven't taught them since that time.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, don't do that.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_04]: I haven't Glad to know how you thought about it.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I told you I took it back
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but once you say, you can't take it back.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_04]: You're taking it back because you feel like you're already active, but you still feel the same way.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't, I laid it to red.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_00]: I laid it to bed.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel the same way again.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel the same way anymore.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_00]: Try it.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_00]: Sinatex, let me hear about it.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_04]: And be.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sitting tight.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you're about to do that.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_00]: I won't over yet.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: Even Drake could even call me and say, I hurt something.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, no problem.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_04]: She wouldn't say it though.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, she has.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I wouldn't tell her, not an important anyway, I don't care, I don't mind.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_00]: I end up because of my history of bringing people around.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_00]: Single women, single men, do you ever feel like, as soon as you introduce somebody that you're dating to your community, your friends, your family, like as soon as you bring that person to that Thanksgiving dinner, the relationship is over by Christmas.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_00]: Attached to that yeah, I think I have a little bit of trauma attached to that and David has been closely connected in the past to a relationship that was very, very difficult for me to um That ended in a very difficult way and it was just a lot of hurt and confusion and all the things and I'm like well We've done so you got to be done too and I just don't want to put you in that situation where you have to have Friend breakups because I'm no longer dealing with any
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why, I don't know how that situation happened.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_04]: My man just started hating me and I'm like that, we know each other before that.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_04]: In fact, like I put y'all together.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's because many people believe it or not have that rule.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_00]: Once it's done, I'm done with you and everybody associated with you.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that I have that rule with a real significant relationship.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_00]: But in a dating scenario, I don't know.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_00]: You just know that I'm really funny.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really talk about my dating life.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_00]: A whole lot.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_00]: I let people think whatever they want to think and they can think whatever they want to think about this.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so when it becomes real, like it's attached and it has a personality and it has other people involved.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_00]: And all the things, I just be wanting to be in my own little bubble during my own little thing.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_00]: until I'm ready to pop out.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_00]: And it just takes me a while to be ready to pop out.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my gosh.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_00]: I like what Ronnie Brown did.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_03]: What's that?
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_00]: Ronnie did not reveal her man until he put a ring on her finger.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_00]: I like Willis Harris with Phil of dear future wifey is doing.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the way the Ronnie Brown drip was crazy.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_04]: The drip out was wild.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_04]: So it was like, don't hurt the egg.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_04]: And then it was close friends.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_04]: And I got a chance to see something close for us.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's a travel experience.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_04]: The drip out was crazy.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_04]: Just to let you know I'm not here alone.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not a snail.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, it was dope.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_00]: It was dope.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_00]: It was dope.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then let's hear his wit feel of dear future wifey.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_00]: He posted a picture.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_00]: He was dating someone very secretly.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_00]: and then he posts a picture one day of his, he proposes in his wife's hand over with the ring or whatever and all you see is a shadow.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_00]: And for months now, you just don't know who this woman is and their people in the comments that are speculating who this woman could be, right?
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_00]: And let me just say to all the letharicous fans, it ain't me.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because I get, we get, we get that every time he posts about this woman, just because we did a podcast together, I can 1,000% confirm that it's not me.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know who it is, but I love letharicous and whatever is planned for his future.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_00]: But they're doing like this little drip of just like shadows.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_04]: I actually have to be 100% honest, I don't think he's actually with somebody.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_00]: You think it's a hoax?
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I don't know.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_04]: It's not my point, but it's so like, uh-huh.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_00]: Mysterious?
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it was like, it was the ring.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_04]: And then the ring company was tagged at it.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, this is a fire, a little ad.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_04]: We fire a little kid.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, we got good.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_04]: But then he, but I'm also thinking from a classic, I, I hope he's happy.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I spoke to his hair, it's like we're friends and I spoke to him and he really is engaged.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's really happy.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_00]: It really happened quickly, and No, it's not just content and This policy guys is just so dope like he's just showing the shadow like this is the energy.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_00]: I love him.
- 1:04:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on show the chat.
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_00]: Can y'all see that?
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on show the shadow energy you hear me like
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_00]: Show the shadow.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_04]: I think I'm looking at it from the perspective of something I would do like I would just it wouldn't even be a real thing It'd just be a whole play you playing with the internet.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like he solicited it for But bridal dress designers and here's what I think is amazing.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think while I think while I'm sure that he's really engaged to be married and do doing all the things
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_00]: he's making brand partnerships from all of this because he went on the internet and said, hey, I'm looking for a really great wedding designer who would love to design my wife's dress.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_00]: He bought out a whole thing, Pave.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_00]: The whole thing's about to be paid for.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, show us something, Laterra's, man.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_04]: Did think it was a hoax?
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I'm still, I went back to foreign, it's not.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_04]: But you are an incredible human being.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_04]: I do believe that he's just a very genuine, smart, transparent person.
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_04]: I'm actually, it makes me kind of think of going on some sort of campaign.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of campaign?
- 1:05:48[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I'm about to put you on speakerphone on social proof real quick, okay?
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_00]: Let's Harris Woodfield of Dear Future Wifey.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_00]: How are you, sir?
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing great.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_01]: How are you?
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_00]: Amazing.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sitting here with Dave and we're having a bit of a debate.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_00]: Are you really engaged or is this a campaign?
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_01]: and while with our campaign with my heart, we are always never put my heart under trauma unnecessarily and invite the public to drag me unnecessarily for something that I have been so intentional about.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_01]: I created a whole platform to manifest my future life.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't play games with love.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_01]: I did that when I was married and look where it got me.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm never not gonna play games with my single life.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_00]: Is she there with you now?
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, she's on the plane to come here.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_00]: Can we hear her voice?
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, like I said, she's on the plane right now.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_01]: You heard her voice in the video and you heard her say yes to the proposal that was a voice.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hear the voice.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, at the very end, in the highlight video of my proposal, you don't see your face, but you hear a voice and I dropped a video talking about my books doing the love and in that same voice in that.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_01]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_01]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_01]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_01]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_01]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_01]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_01]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_01]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_00]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_04]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_04]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_04]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:23[UNKNOWN]: She is a real person.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_04]: I can't, bro.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_04]: I can't, like, concentrate creation and stuff because you had the ring and you tagged the ring company in, like, the next few posts was like, the ring, the ring, the ring, I'm like, my me, I got a little bag, the ring, the ring, the ring, the ring, I'm like, my me, I got a little bag, the ring, the ring, the ring, that's what this is called.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_00]: The brand, the brand, the ring, the ring, the ring.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so our next thought was, this wedding is about to be... Do you have to get a fiancee to get a brand deal?
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_04]: The answer's no, so that's why I thought about it.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, dang, that's fine.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_00]: Is doing it this way, gonna have the wedding pay for?
- 1:07:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's the go.
- 1:07:55[SPEAKER_01]: We're still working on some certain deals, but I've been getting a lot of stuff sponsored and doing a lot of trade from the dress to the rings to my touch to, you know, I've gotten already about $100,000 worth of sponsorship or trade.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_01]: with the thing.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, so you can't say, yeah, teach me your ways.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not, it's the power marketing is a power of advertising after end of the day when people go take the, the, the, the, the state, a company reaches out to you and say, hey, Donnie, I want you to see this new resort that we are building in the Bahamas.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're going to give you a free trip to the Bahamas.
- 1:08:34[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to roll out the red carpet.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to,
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_01]: Let you eat at the restaurants for free.
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_01]: They'll give you massages and make you I mean treat you like the VIP there and you'll get $10,000 15,000 vacation for free and they're gonna say in exchange all we want you to do is make a real one minute the one minute and 60 seconds a minute and 30 second real 90 second real to actually showcase this
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_01]: I made an experience you had.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's typically what people do anyway.
- 1:09:05[SPEAKER_01]: If you go to a restaurant and you like it, you'll take a picture, your food and be like, hey, listen, you only come check out this restaurant.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_01]: We do those type of things freely.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_01]: All that happened is that when you become a court on court and fluency about numbers, then they'll say, hey, listen, we're going to pay you to do what you already do.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's just a win for everybody.
- 1:09:26[SPEAKER_00]: Let's Harris, I thank you for picking up the call.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so excited for you.
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_00]: I can't wait to hear more about it.
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_00]: And we're excited about this very authentic real relationship.
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_00]: He said, I don't play about my heart.
- 1:09:38[SPEAKER_04]: That was so good.
- 1:09:38[SPEAKER_04]: It was so good to answer it, too.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_04]: God, I'm late.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_04]: God, I'm late.
- 1:09:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's so good, Dad.
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's so good at this.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_00]: All right, you gotta come down and sit down with us.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_00]: And we actually got to talk about it like when you're back in Atlanta.
- 1:09:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't definitely, if I go say it's funny, I'll just get off a connected flight from Atlanta this morning at 10 o'clock.
- 1:09:55[SPEAKER_01]: So if I would have known earlier, I could have just stopped and took a flight later to come to Dallas.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're always in the city.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_00]: So just hit me when you're here next and we'll make it happen.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_01]: You definitely.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_00]: Can she fit in the studio off camera?
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_01]: She does all the time.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay, I can't wait.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's time, but she actually does.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_01]: What is it?
- 1:10:21[SPEAKER_01]: Is it the end of October?
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_04]: It's early October sometime.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_01]: What is it?
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_01]: Vid, Vid, Vid Summit is a huge big podcast.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_01]: Summit and big news on everything like YouTube.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_01]: I saw a pop-up in my newsfeed.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_01]: I saw an ad for it.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_01]: I was doing it all the time.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_01]: What day it was?
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's the 8th of May.
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_00]: 8th and 9th.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_01]: eighth and nine, you know what, I think I'm in town on that.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I can't tell you, I go do my engagement shoot with the, with the mystery bride.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I said it's all, all this is what if we do an interview, but we blur her face.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_00]: She wear a mask or something.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_00]: She wears a mask.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, she wouldn't do it.
- 1:11:04[UNKNOWN]: No, so let me tell you something about what God did in this.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_01]: The reason why this works is she's not the type that she don't care about all the public.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_01]: She's a private person, period.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, she's a person that don't have a huge social media following.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_01]: So she's very, very private.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_01]: So she doesn't.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_01]: This is good for her.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_01]: She likes it.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_01]: She's the one that invited this.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, Lord, I do not want to be judged by all these people.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like everybody in my business.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_01]: People understand that even my journey to find my future wifey, it comes with a lot of weight because of the platform that I have.
- 1:11:37[SPEAKER_01]: The person you can go from a person that has 500 followers.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_01]: And the minute that somebody knows that you are marrying me, then everybody starts sending you friend requests.
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, who are these people?
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like all these people, you get in a date with thousands, thousands of followers.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_01]: And now you like alone.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's overwhelming.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_01]: All these people have my business, they look at all your pictures, they read all your stuff, they begin to pick you apart and be like, wow, what are you seeing her?
- 1:12:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I don't believe that that'll be something that a lot of people say about her.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_01]: She's a beautiful woman, but just the fact that now you open yourself up like me.
- 1:12:14[SPEAKER_01]: I never thought some of the stuff that I do will become videos that people now do commentary on.
- 1:12:19[SPEAKER_01]: I can make a video sharing my heart.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody else will make a whole hour video talk.
- 1:12:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's he ain't really getting married.
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_01]: he line that that he's just doing.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_00]: So people are saying that.
- 1:12:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, don't go and kick talk.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_01]: If you drag me, if you do it all the time, I love it, though.
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's the problem.
- 1:12:37[SPEAKER_01]: I actually love it.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_00]: We literally, you know, go ahead, you literally would.
- 1:12:41[SPEAKER_00]: We literally just had an episode that we just dropped last week, earlier this week, similar to this entire conversation, like never thought in a million years that what we're doing would get so much public feedback or even criticism,
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_00]: Look, look here.
- 1:12:56[SPEAKER_00]: No, I know you, and we can talk for hours.
- 1:12:58[SPEAKER_00]: You're about to give me a whole podcast episode on speaker phone.
- 1:13:02[SPEAKER_00]: So we're about to, let's wrap it up.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_00]: And when you're back here, please give me a heads up and we'll have you on the couch.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, be an honor.
- 1:13:10[SPEAKER_00]: All right, bye.
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_00]: What's up, Dave?
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a brother.
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_04]: Appreciate you, man.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_01]: All right, love you, bro.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_00]: Bye.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_00]: What is this?
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_00]: What did you just send me?
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_04]: I was on this page, he posted it.
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is hilarious.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_00]: This has been an emotional roller coaster of an episode.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about all kinds of things.
- 1:13:40[SPEAKER_00]: And at the end of it, we still don't know what to do.
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_02]: We still don't know what to do.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_00]: But we are so grateful for y'all just letting us sit here and brain dump because that's what the social profile cast has become.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_00]: We just, it's, what has always been actually just us sitting here, brain dumping, but I love letting people see a side of us that they don't get to see, right?
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_00]: We really need to teach a class on business partnership.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_02]: I agree.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_00]: We could do like a little webinar.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_04]: I think most of it would be the emotional side.
- 1:14:14[SPEAKER_04]: It would mean most of it is the emotional ego.
- 1:14:18[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:14:18[SPEAKER_04]: Consideration.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_04]: It's not like your strength, my strength.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_04]: I think those work well together, but you have so many things like
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_04]: I can imagine, especially like, let's say, for instance, I don't want to speak that on there, but like, two partners do an event and the ones I, y'all, I'm going to do it because you don't want to do it.
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_04]: That could be messy.
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_04]: It could be messy for me, but I think that the way that we handle things is also, man.
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_00]: I literally did a partnership with a group of people and that partnership didn't go well.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't really even expect it to go well.
- 1:14:59[SPEAKER_00]: It was just like a tribe because I was asked.
- 1:15:01[SPEAKER_00]: And then everybody decided, oh, I never want to do this again.
- 1:15:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, well, I do it again.
- 1:15:05[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, nope.
- 1:15:07[SPEAKER_00]: Why but you want to do it you don't even want to do it Why why block it anyway Let me be clear.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_04]: Wait there.
- 1:15:19[SPEAKER_04]: Sarai is not thinking about the toy
- 1:15:22[SPEAKER_04]: saw him picks up the toy and plays with the toy.
- 1:15:25[SPEAKER_04]: So I was like, no, I want the toy.
- 1:15:27[SPEAKER_04]: You didn't even, you wasn't even thinking about it.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_00]: You weren't even thinking about the toy.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_04]: The child.
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_00]: Get, she is, though.
- 1:15:32[SPEAKER_00]: She's a child.
- 1:15:32[SPEAKER_00]: She is a child.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_04]: And I understand it before a 30, 40 year old person.
- 1:15:40[SPEAKER_00]: Why would you just hold somebody back from something that you have no interest in doing?
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_00]: We need to teach a class on partnership.
- 1:15:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think it will help so many people because y'all deserve collaboration.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_00]: For sure, you deserve collaboration.
- 1:15:52[SPEAKER_00]: All right, that's it.
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_00]: Now you're out of it.
- 1:15:58[SPEAKER_00]: You're not even working on it.
- 1:16:00[SPEAKER_00]: You can't even come in the building.
- 1:16:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_00]: Great.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_00]: You gotta stay back, stay.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, I would love to have you there for sure.
- 1:16:07[SPEAKER_00]: I would love to have you there, teach a session.
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_00]: We can talk about the power of collaboration.
- 1:16:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that we talked about that last year.
- 1:16:15[SPEAKER_00]: I gotta go back and look at everything we talked about.
- 1:16:17[SPEAKER_00]: But we can talk about the power of collaboration.
- 1:16:20[SPEAKER_00]: Would I be interested in that?
- 1:16:22[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, would you be interested in hearing about learning about the power of collaboration?
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_00]: Number two, do you have any real ideas with what we need to do with this money?
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_00]: Number three, should your friends become friends with somebody that you just started dating yesterday and business partners?
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_00]: Number four, what else do we talk?
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_00]: What you doing?
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_04]: Because I was trying to craft something that was just as snarky as what you'd say.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, nah, let me just chill.
- 1:16:48[SPEAKER_04]: Let me just do.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_00]: And number five, do you, are you big enough to apologize when you realize you're the problem and the problem is that you expect of other people what you would do?
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_00]: And you realize it's wrong.
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_00]: Are you wrong for that or are you right for that?
- 1:17:04[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think?
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about a whole lot.
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_00]: I apologize that y'all got so much to keep up with, but this was a good episode.
- 1:17:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, see you on the next week.
- 1:17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Bye.
