- 0:00SPEAKER_00: You gave us an interesting selection.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: You have to pick two.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: You want to go through them again?
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: The ones that you ab there there's a few, but uh the you can only pick two.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: You can only pick two.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: Financial freedom, being healthy for fifty years.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Hold on a second.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Okay, never argue again.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Financial freedom, being healthy for fifty years, weekly date nights, a strong community of married friends, and amazing communication.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: Which two are you picking?
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: You can only pick two.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: You know, it's funny because I think that the argument thing, the because mine was never argue again and financial security.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Because then you never have to worry about, you know, well, that's a huge factor for anything.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: It it may not even be the factor for arguments.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: It's just sometimes your own stress that you're carrying and makes you into something you might not like.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Um you don't want to treat somebody that way either.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Both my parents uh had both those things.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: They rarely argued.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Rarely.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: And there was a level of financial security.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Now, don't get me wrong, I'm discovering a lot of the financial security was my parents were very smart with money back in the day, hence we ate a lot of tuna casserole.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: But either way, it's been literally decades.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: Like my parents have been gone for a long time.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: So I wasn't able to be like, so Dad, we never gave the impression that we were living lean, but he would probably say, But we were we were deliberately, but we were smart about it.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: We just didn't tell you.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right, exactly.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: So those two eyes.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Two things that I remember specifically from my parents, which I always look at my parents, had a very, very good, strong relationship their whole time that I was around and could notice it.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: So those are the two things, and I think that it bleeds down you know, through life.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Your two that you picked.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: I picked uh first I wanted, well, I said never argue, but then I switched it to financial freedom, and then I put picked amazing communication, which I think like looking at my parents, my parents also they did have f they did have financial freedom.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, not always, but it got to that point.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: But but you never felt like you were strained, did you?
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: No, no, I never wanted for anything.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: And then um, but they did also have amazing communication, and my parents also have always done weekly date nights.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: So I'm a little surprised I didn't pick that, but I feel like if I picked amazing communication, that everything feels like a date.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Also keep in mind amazing communication does not mean that you're not gonna ever have a fight.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Right, exactly.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: It just means you're gonna fight smart.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: I think that fighting I don't know if you can fight smart, you know what I mean.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: No, fighting respectfully.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: You're right.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: I think that you can do that, and I think sometimes you do need to have a little bit of a disagreement.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: So I'm not gonna take a uh never argue again.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: I think I'm gonna pick amazing communication.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Better to fight smart the right way than the wrong way.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: I keep using the term fight.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Disagree is a better way to put it.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Sure, sure.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Because fighting takes you all the way to a well, that's a pretty solid example of you know not being positive at all.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Disagreements can be worked through.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, absolutely.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: And you still respect each other once you are done doing that.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: So financial freedom and great communication was uh given by Samantha.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Freedom and health, thanks to Merle.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: And they even said until you lose health, you don't understand how it goes with so much more.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: That's true.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: I would believe that.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, think about how, Scott, you're feeling today when you have a toothache.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Think of if you had something wrong every single day.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: Um, this one financial security and healthy communication.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Don't have to worry about fighting when you have good communication.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: It's not that you're not disagreeing, you're just, yep, I know what you're doing.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Thank you, 6767.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Uh, financial freedom and arguing, meaning like, you know, respectful arguing.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Yes, exactly.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: And then almost every single one of you picked financial freedom.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: Here's another one financial freedom and 50 more healthy years together.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: I know we're gonna have a ton of grandkids.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, so yes, stay h stay well.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Yes, and I think that brings on happiness.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Uh well, for some people it does, yes.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: And you can also give those ones back.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: And three, two, one.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Listen to Scott and Allie.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Scott and Allie's big three.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: Thank God.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: I was listening to a podcast the other day, and this person said that they love their grandchildren more than their children, and they they said, I didn't think that I would be able to.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: I didn't think that I was capable of loving anything more than my kids until my grandkids, and it completely changed them.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Anyway, big three brought to you by ENV Energy, delivering propane, fuel oil, and kerosene to your home farmer business with no delivery fees or surcharges.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Well, it looks like we're cleaning up on the east and the west because both coasts are dealing with the aftermath of some tropical storms.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Cleanup efforts underway from Tropical Storm Rachel, which slammed the west.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: In Vegas, storms dropped about an inch of rain at the Harry Reid International Airport, leading to some lengthy ground delays.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: I heard we got about an inch of rain over the weekend from the uh remnants of Ice.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: It didn't feel like it, at least not on Saturday.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Was it Saturday or Sunday?
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: When did we get the Sunday?
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: It was just that constant all day.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: And there were some points where it was a little bit uh heavier.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Pope Leo announced over the weekend that he would have a very early stage growth removed from his lung.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: And I guess Diddy isn't having the cushiest life in prison.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: He was rushed to the hospital on Saturday Saturday after suffering a head injury.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: The incident was non-life threatening, and he returned to the facility the same day and placed back in solitary confinement.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: Interesting, you get a head injury when you're in solitary confinement.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Hmm.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: Sounds a little suspicious to me if you're asking me.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: Also, the social reckoning really flopped at the box office this weekend with only a$5.5 million opening, and there's the big three.
