  [rock music] All right.
• 0:41
Another podcast, another screwed up one probably. This one's gonna be tied in with two other ones. Tonight sitting in with me is Brad Burgy, a buddy of mine from hockey, coaching, um, he's worked in a bike shop.
• 0:53
He's a BMX guy. Um, what else have you done? Anything important? Nothing- Good... ever important. So good, he's not an important person, so he fits in perfectly. [laughs] He's already come into the shop.
• 1:04
We've already had a beer. Um, we're gonna get ready to have a second one. Go ahead and pop that puppy open. [can opening] Oh, listen to that. Mm. Here comes the day.
• 1:16
The, uh, the first beer we had of the day was a beer called First Karl, and it was the second beer in an advent calendar, so it's a, uh, um- Quite delicious, might I add... it was a, uh, Kellerbier from, uh, Germany.
• 1:31
And this beer that we've got now is, he bought it because it's got a fucking dinosaur on it. Um, this is, um, from, uh, Project Brewery. Abrontosaurus Rar. Wow. Can't really go wrong with a dinosaur. That's right.
• 1:46
It's a dinosaur, we're happy guys. So two reasons he's out here. Um, h- this is his, he's been itching to do this for a long time 'cause he wants to hear his voice on something other than just at a bar with me. Yeah.
• 1:59
He has a fucking cool bike he's picking up that was, uh... uh, his wife has the mate to this one I think. Um, it's a, it's a, I don't know, maybe an early mid-60s Schwinn, uh, that we di- we discovered it has, um,
• 2:14
index shifting on it, um, from... It's kinda cool, kinda mechanical. It's really a fun bike. So he's out here to pick up a bike. Um, we're gonna talk a little bit about,
• 2:25
later on in this podcast we're gonna run through the interviews I did with Pat, Brian, Scott, the, my buddies from Arizona that were on the Beer Century.
• 2:34
I, I don't know if I could ever get Brad to do something like that, but- [laughs] Maybe... one of these days I'm gonna try to get you to d- to ride a bike someplace 'cause you're a BMX guy, right? Right.
• 2:43
You guys are all gear shifters. Do I have any geared bikes? I don't think so. I didn't- Right... hear you say it, no. Yeah. And as long as you don't bring up e-bikes, you're okay.
• 2:50
Otherwise, I'm throwing you out the fucking window. [laughs] Yeah. So, uh, this rig here, we need to talk more about it. Old Schwinn. Uh- Can you... I cannot re- can you walk over and see what the...
• 3:03
Uh, I, I think it beli- I believe it says what kind of shifting it is on the shift lever. It's like- Positron? Yeah, Positron. So it's- Yeah... and, and it's only on the rear. It's not on the front.
• 3:15
It's only on the rear, and it, and it's literally a five-speed index shifting. Yeah, I mean, it's just a, [laughs] a sweet rig. So my wife brought one home, and I had reached out to Ron, uh, Chewy. Yeah, Jerry.
• 3:30
Um- Don't, don't- [laughs] Don't say his real name... no shit. [laughs] But I had reached out and, uh, yeah, so he sent me a picture of this thing, and it's probably similar age I would imagine, so.
• 3:42
Yeah, I, I, I gotta believe that they're mates. Mm-hmm. I mean, they're, they're, the paint scheme, the seat- I think the only-... the fenders, everything looks the same- The only-... except for hers is a Mixie.
• 3:51
I think the only difference was that, you know, that hers has the cruiser, the cruiser bars. Well, the Mixie frame, yeah. Yeah. So it's got a slanting top tube, right? Yeah. Yeah.
• 3:58
Other than that, they are, uh, pretty sweet rigs, pretty retro, so right up my alley. And they'll be, they'll be bar hopping on these this summer after we- Yep... clean them up a little bit more than that.
• 4:07
They're actually, uh, I haven't seen your wife's in person, but this one was super clean when I got it, and hers looks every bit as nice. Yeah, so I think, you know, same thing.
• 4:16
Just needs a little TLC, and, uh, we'll be bar hopping on it in no time, so. Sooner than we think if the bars ever open again. No kidding. It's, uh, it's really tough because, uh,
• 4:28
the, the, the bars are open until 10:00 in Iowa, and we do go down there- It's okay... but I don't go in. Sure. You know, it's just, I don't know. It's- Weird? It, it's weird. There's nobody in there.
• 4:41
It's, um- Well, it definitely kills the vibe. It does. You know? It does. I think, I think, you know, the people I would go in there to hang out with aren't there anyway, so it's- Sure...
• 4:49
it, it's not, not any reason for me to go. Um, the guys that are gonna be on in a little bit, Pat and those guys live in, in Arizona, and their bars are open. Okay.
• 4:59
And, um, I don't know if they even ha- I don't think they have a, you know, like where Minnesota and even Iowa's doing 10:00 closings. As far as I know, those guys are doing nothing down there- Okay...
• 5:11
because they went to, uh, Pat sent me a text today, and he was at, he was in, at, uh, it's called, uh, Coach, Coach House? Yeah, Coach House Bar. It's this dive little thing in, in, um, Scottsdale, and he was there.
• 5:26
It opens at 6:00 a.m. and closes at 2:00 a.m. every day. Wow. Yeah. A- and, and it's got a million Christma- uh, look it up online. It's a really cool looking place.
• 5:35
And they're, and they were, he had to take a day of PTO today, so him and his- [laughs] So they rode over there for breakfast and then- That's awesome. Yeah, I mean, they got...
• 5:43
They're, they're, the only difference from the last time I was there, there was a taco truck t- outside there permanently now, where before it was just some guy'd pull up in a van and start making like pancakes or something.
• 5:52
That's sweet. It still kicked ass, yeah. So in Iowa, is it kinda the same, you know, like it, it was when the bars were open here where it's just kinda- It's not, you know, it's everything's shut down.
• 6:05
You know, you can't, uh, you can... Only so many people can be at the bars and- Y- yeah, and you know, and they, and they just recently pulled the barstools away from the bar. Um, they hadn't gone to the far [laughs]...
• 6:17
In fact, I was at... I did stop into one because they had to-go. Uh, was that my, uh, M- uh, Mark, um, uh, Bachman or Mike Bachman, a buddy of ours, um, has a bar down there called T Box, and we...
• 6:30
I stopped in there because it had to-go drinks. Yes. And I mean, it was fucking awesome.
• 6:34
So it was like I bought a Bloody Mary, which comes, uh, um, it was like two of them, so I suppose a, a regular Bloody Mary is like, say, it's two 10 ounces. It's a, it's a... I don't know.
• 6:46
It looks like an orange juice bottle. So- But they're, they're clean and they, and they literally mix the drinks in there.
• 6:50
So I bought a cranberry vodka and a, and a Bloody Mary, and the Bloody Mary was kickass and you got two skewers of
• 7:00
pickle and a pepper and meat stick, you know, the, the usual stuff for a, for a Bloody Mary and then they send that little baggie with you. But it's just awesome- [laughs]...
• 7:08
to walk in and, and go, "I want this and I want this" and then they, they, like- [laughs]... mix them in a bottle for you and away you go with your drink. It was cool. So there's...
• 7:16
Was there, like, a multitude of options you could get for drinks? Not a ton. I mean, some- Can you go into, into detail as to why you picked the vodka cranberry? Well, my choices were- [laughs]
• 7:28
Probably not a g- But it was, it was a, it was, uh, um, oddly it was cranberry juice, orange juice. Just didn't seem like, it seemed like, "Nah, what the hell." Lemonade, and it was cold, so that doesn't work.
• 7:43
And then, um, cranberry, lemonade, orange juice, and then Coca-Cola. Yeah, which just sounded disgusting, so cranberry's like, "Okay, I'll go with that." I a- actually, I'm gonna be honest with you.
• 7:58
[laughs] I didn't touch it. Casey drank the whole goddamn thing. Oh, yeah. So I didn't even, I didn't get- Blame it on your son. Yeah, well, that's, well, it's, you know, he's living in my house down there.
• 8:05
Might as well drink my shit too while he's at it, right? So take the high road, I see. [laughs] Very nicely done. [laughs] So yeah, so it was, um, uh, um, the, so that was the bar I went into.
• 8:15
They didn't do the things like they're doing around here with the tables.
• 8:18
So in Rochester where they're buttoning the tables up and then you can sit around there, which I thought was kinda cool, and I would, I wouldn't even mind if bars did that permanently. Sure. It was kinda cool, actually.
• 8:28
I mean, it might be a pain in the ass for the bartenders, but for sitting around and talking to people, it was actually better than sitting at a bar. And so it was kinda cool. So, um, but Mike is probably gonna do it.
• 8:38
He's like, I h- he... When I gave him, he goes, "We never thought of that, about that, but why can't we?" So, um, keeping them socially distant, I suppose they're gonna be six feet apart and- Sure... I don't know.
• 8:49
But again, the other thing they're doing, and I think they can do it in Minnesota now if they ever fucking open up, um, is they're going, they,
• 8:56
with their kegs and stuff, you can take a growler or a squealer or whatever you want into and they will fill your growler for you too. Oh, that's cool. Like I could go get a growler of Pabst.
• 9:06
So that's the, I mean, that's the, the things that we don't have. I mean, I'm born and raised in Minnesota, and, like, I, I remember going to...
• 9:15
I think we were in the Dakotas, and you could, you could take your beer with you as long as it wasn't in their receptacle, like their glass. Oh, right, right. But they would pour it into, like, a, a plastic for you. Mm.
• 9:28
And, you know, like here, that's, like, that's not a thing. So I'd, I've noticed, uh, the restaurants and bars in town that are, are now doing carryout, they, they'll make you, like, a, a Bloody Mary mix.
• 9:44
So you can get their bloody, but obviously they don't pour the booze in it for you. Right.
• 9:48
So which, you know, I guess- And, and, and they, and they're- You can control the flow that way, but- And they're allowing them to sell whatever cans of beer or bottles of beer they had, not...
• 9:58
But, and so taking that a step farther then, in Iowa's allowing you to go in there and with their, with their taps- And fill-... they're allowed to fill a growler or a- Of whatever... I don't know. What do you...
• 10:06
So, so that the, there's a, there's, I, there's a gazillion terms for it. What do you call the... There's a growler's the 64 and the 32 is, what do you call it? Is it a crowler? Well, crowlers is cans to me.
• 10:20
That's the can, right? That's the can. Okay. So we've- I guess I've always just called them a crowler... we've heard, I've heard them called howlers. Maybe that was what I heard. Yeah. Okay, yeah.
• 10:26
Well, so my favorite one was in Sioux is out, out east they call them squealers. Okay. [laughs] Yeah, so they're squealers to me. Sure.
• 10:33
But whatever, but you can fill those at, at, at the bars down there, which is kinda cool. So I- And it's like you can pick whatever you want, whatever you want? Yeah, whatever.
• 10:41
It's, I, I was under the impression whatever they have on tap. That makes sense. Yeah, because they're n- they're, the, uh, Iowa's, I think, a little more lax in that, so.
• 10:50
So the nice thing is, and if, you know, to stay safe, if you don't wanna go in, you just meet the guy at the door and he goes in and fills your growler. Sure. And you pay him and you stay outside.
• 10:57
So it's kinda cool, actually. Yeah. I mean, it's what they can do to stay alive, I think. Well, it- For a lot of those places... it was really interesting when this second shutdown started.
• 11:09
It, I saw, like, a lot of bars were doing the, you know, the, the buy one, get one free taps. Oh. Or they were doing, like, 50 cent taps. Like, it was like a college town all of a sudden.
• 11:19
I mean, uh, what else are you- Well- They gotta dump the kegs. Yeah.
• 11:22
I, and you'll hear it on here later, I had to admit, so I took, before we went on the Santa Rampage, um, what little bit we did do of it, we did a small version of it, um, a week ago Saturday. Okay.
• 11:35
Um, and we did it just to raise money. It w- I mean, um, Toys for Tots is hurting for their...
• 11:41
They're closing, shutting down earlier 'cause they have to disinfect all the toys, so we- Yeah, 'cause they have to quarantine the toys, don't they? Well, they're gonna disinfect them. Okay.
• 11:48
So they have to, they're gonna separate them, disinfect them, and then get them set up for the families they're going to. So we, we kinda like just three of us went out. Um, I used my Grinch costume. I saw that.
• 12:01
[laughs] So- A+ by the way. [laughs] Th- thank you.
• 12:04
I, oh, next year I'm gonna get one so I can talk 'cause you can't hear shit out of me, and alls I wanted to do, I mean, I literally l- watched- Like, um, there was a guy in...
• 12:13
There's a guy in the UK, um, you know, uh, Jim Carrey's version of it where they're lipping people- Mm-hmm... and I can hardly wait to fucking lip people in that thing. [laughs] And that mask doesn't work. Okay.
• 12:25
I scare the shit out of little kids with it. In fact, I got a- Well, sure... in fact, I, we were outside of Bro- It's probably less scary than if you're not wearing the mask. [laughs] Well, true. But it was funny.
• 12:33
I was outside of, I was outside of Brothers and, um, well, that's where we started, and with our first trailer of stuff and, and th- this car pulls up, but this little girl's waving at me, and she's all into it.
• 12:44
Well, little did I know her sister wasn't. [laughs] So that's always good. So, so I, I kinda like creeped them on the window. So only the older sister liked it.
• 12:52
And the older sister's like waving and looking at me, and the little sister's in the car crying her eyes out. I was like, "Ah, great. Here we go."
• 12:57
[laughs] You know, and not even five minutes into this ride and we already got little kids crying. It's like all the kids you coach, they're just- And the best part was-... they always cry...
• 13:02
is I get a text later, "You made my friend's kid cry." [laughs] So s- so y- it was somebody that- It was some-... knew you... no, the people that- Friend of a friend...
• 13:11
it w- the people that, that, that, that I scared the little kid didn't know me, but when they told their friend, their friend know me, and they go, "That's Chewie, and he's out in the costume."
• 13:23
[laughs] So, um, it's gonna get, this'll get doubled up, but, um, I had to go pick up the, uh, uh, posters and the Toys for Tots box, right? Mm-hmm. So we didn't look like just freaks out stealing toys from kids.
• 13:37
And I, so I went up to 63 Club to pick it up the Friday night that Rochester was closing down. Sure. And there wasn't a ton of people in 63 Club. I mean, it was, people were good, socially distanced. Yep.
• 13:48
You know, but there was, there, the tables were all full. So up to capacity. And everybody, I think they were doing... I don't know what they were doing. They might've been doing bucket beer.
• 13:56
I couldn't, [laughs] I couldn't put a straw through that mask. [laughs] I wore it up there anyway. [laughs] Just to, it was kinda like a dry run.
• 14:03
And I get up there and, um, a couple of girls from the kickball team are going, um, they're like, people are like, "What, what, what is he doing?"
• 14:13
They go, "Well, he's gonna go on Toys for Tots, and he came to pick up blah, blah, blah," right? I think we collected 300 bucks. Hey, that's all right. I was, yeah, I was like- Yeah... well, it was, and it was,
• 14:22
everybody's like, "So, well, you're doing this tomorrow. Uh, I'm not gonna come find you and give you a toy. Here's 20 bucks." You know, and that kinda stuff. Well, that was awesome. Well, that works good too.
• 14:29
Yeah, it was great. So, so that worked out really well and- Which is pretty amazing what, like Toys for Tots, like how far they can stretch 20 bucks. Oh, I'm sure the places will get- You know? Yeah, right.
• 14:39
So- So that's kinda cool too, but yeah, I, I guess I was curious, you know, how Santa Rampage went this year, you know, with COVID kinda cracking things down. So it was just the three of us. I saw that.
• 14:53
Um, uh, [laughs] and it was exactly what I said it was gonna be. It was the Grinch, Santa Claus, and some dude with music that kinda looked like an elf, and that was about it. But- Which was great, by the way.
• 15:02
[laughs] It wa- Like, [laughs] the riding group that you ride with, I mean, it, it was like perfect. Oh, yeah. Yeah. [laughs] And, and, and, and they're fun guys, and we had... And it was,
• 15:12
well, at least one of us didn't get as shit-faced as we normally do. [laughs] But it was still, it was really a lot of fun and, and, um, I think, honest to God, so the first year we did it it was just a ride.
• 15:24
And, and I, I, you paid an entry fee, and I spent all the money on stuff for everybody, and that was cool.
• 15:30
Um, last year Sue decided that she wanted it, it should be for a charity, so then she picked Toys for Tots, and we did it that way. And it was just the people that came in on the ride.
• 15:37
So we only brought in, like, I don't know, 40, 50 toys. You know, which is still good. Sure. But it w- but it wasn't... But this year it was like, well, we're gonna go out there and do that and bring us toys.
• 15:47
You know, and like Hyber brought me a hockey bag full of toys. That's awesome. Well, and this- My buddy Spinner from, from, uh, Wiscons- uh, well, I mean, he's still in Wisconsin. Yep. Um, um, k- kicked in 100 buck...
• 15:58
He gave Sue his money and go, "Go buy toys." Well, and I think, you know, this year would've, had it not been, like the COVID year with all the craziness going on,
• 16:10
I, I could only imagine that if you got what you did this year during COVID, I mean, we keep this thing going, what's it look like next year? Well, that's what I'm hoping.
• 16:19
I mean, uh, you know, every year- What a great cause... every year we've done the ride, it's, the, the numbers have gotten bigger. As long as you can keep people from going over the handlebars. Like, was that last year?
• 16:28
Did we not, did we have some, a couple people- Um-... over the bars last year? La- well, there was some crashes last year- Okay... but two years ago was the worst, I think. Maybe it was two years ago.
• 16:35
Yeah, two years ago- Okay. [laughs]... we lost a body. Spinner got lost. I cracked two ribs. That's what it wa- I was, it was- I remember you crashed- Yeah... one of the years. It was, that, that was the first year.
• 16:43
Okay. That was, that was, that was- So we're improving. Yeah.
• 16:46
So well, a- and, you know, and this goes back to probably, um, this is probably gonna turn into our own fricking podcast because right now we're, like, close to being the end, but I wanna talk to you about hockey yet too.
• 16:55
Oh, yeah. Sure. So, um- I'll shut up. No, no, no. [laughs] No. We'll, we'll just keep going. And if this turns into an hour podcast, I don't give a shit.
• 17:02
But we, so, um, what happened the first year was is that I had a hockey game that night, so it's like no drinking- Mm-hmm... behaving myself, blah, blah, blah.
• 17:11
And then we get eight inches of snow, and then it's like, "Oh, great. I gotta play catch-up now." [laughs] And, and I caught up and surpassed everybody by tons of beers- [laughs]... except for maybe Spinner.
• 17:20
And, uh, yeah, and I was, and I thought I was being a smart guy by avoiding a crash and made it even worse. And that was, all in all it was a great night.
• 17:28
I, but I mean, that was just for fun, and then we decided that it should be worth something. Yeah. So maybe that's how you get me on one of these rides, 'cause we- I beg you to go on rides. I don't know how many times.
• 17:40
I offer you a bike. [laughs] The only thing I'm not gonna do is let you ride a fucking electric bike like Lucy and- Thad... Thad. Fuck those two. No, I won't e-bike, but I will get out and ride with you guys.
• 17:49
I have made that, uh, that commitment, and I'll, I'll stand by that. Um, but- Well, I like your, I like your attitude about the coaster brake, though. I, that's, uh- Dude- We could start a f- we could start... I-...
• 18:00
old bikes are cool. [sighs] I know, yeah. So when I, when I left BMX was when, like, the free coaster, so, like, you could roll backwards on your bike without having to pedal in reverse, was a thing.
• 18:13
So a lot of guys, believe it or not, I don't know how-...
• 18:16
you know, familiar w- you are with the freestyle portion of BMX, but like fakie tricks or going backwards, you know, that is still a thing, and became a really big thing.
• 18:28
So, uh, my appreciation for that has always been there because, uh, when I left, when I say left, uh, when I got out of the, the BMX scene that w- the, the stuff that we were building was, you know, free coaster bicycles.
• 18:40
So you didn't have, you know, the front and back brakes. You didn't have to worry about a gyro or any of that stuff. So it was, it was pretty cool.
• 18:48
You know, like, that, that was a, kind of an interesting time in BMX, and now a lot of the kids do the same thing. They ride, you know, brakeless or- Yeah... with free coaster. Yeah.
• 18:59
So, which I've always loved that, you know, the, the coaster brake stuff. To me is, uh, is always pretty cool. W- well, like you and I were talking earlier, you know, my, my... So I'd, I'd gone fixed gear for a while.
• 19:11
Yeah. And I haven't, I haven't done it for a bit, but every now and then I get the bug, and I, and fortunately I don't have one just sitting around here, because I know I'd ride that sucker again.
• 19:17
[laughs] Um, but I got, uh, when Handsome came out with a shop bike, which was a coaster brake, and I don't really think I'd, other than maybe riding somebody's old bike, I'd got into it.
• 19:27
But that bike for beating around town with a coaster brake and, uh, and, and the geometry of that thing, the set up is, it's, it's the funnest bike for just ripping around on. Oh, sure.
• 19:38
And, um, and then, you know, and then from there it's carried on, you know.
• 19:41
So there's, um, there's a clunker group and, and these guys are in Arizona that I, I've met, um, some of them are on Back of the Pack Racing, and that's all they ride is clunkers.
• 19:51
But it- but they've taken it, they've taken this to the neck- the next level.
• 19:54
I mean, it's a coaster brake, but it has a fin on it so that it actually helps cool it so you don't burn the grease and burn your brake pads down to nothing.
• 20:03
But these guys are riding incredible stuff on coaster brake bikes. And- That's awesome... yeah. And it's, and it's... Plus, plus the one guy that makes them, there's a cup holder right built in the frame right away.
• 20:12
Oh, [laughs] that's great. I'm still waiting for mine, but yeah. That- that's- it's awesome. So it's... I'd like to get back into it. I did,
• 20:19
before I was thinking about going back into coaster braking, I actually did fixed geared off-road riding. I had a 29er, uh, uh, what was it? A Van Dessel. And it, and it was, and it had, and it was a fixed geared.
• 20:36
And you ride with the guys in Kansas City, and it was really fun to do and watch. Those guys are cool.
• 20:40
It's like when you ride to a log, you're, like, bunny hop to get your pedals in the correct position so you can ride- Yep... over it. It was, it was incredible to watch and, and trying it was fun.
• 20:49
I rode Eastwood with it all the time. It was a lot of fun. Yeah. But, um, no, not anymore. Sure. Well, I think it brings a great deal of, you know, or a, a different skill, you know, especially with the off-road stuff.
• 21:01
I mean, I'd, I've seen some of the videos of that, that like, even on, like, you know, full suspension, uh, shifter bikes, I guess as I call them. I couldn't imagine that.
• 21:11
Like, single speed and that, I mean, fixed gear would be- Oh, fixed gear was kind of cool. It's, it's, uh, it was amazing. I, I, I... It's not for around here. Sure. It's, it's more of a flat,
• 21:23
uh, boulders and, and s- and- Sure... uh, um, just- You'll have to send me some videos. I don't know if those guys even do it anymore. [laughs] I'll have to find some. I know I- There's gotta be someone out there...
• 21:32
I know, I know. I don't do it anymore. [laughs] But yeah. So it, um, so now that we get you on a bike again, that's gonna be awesome. I don't know if we're gonna get you out in the snow.
• 21:44
Um, and the fun thing is, is that since Brad's been walking around my shop, he is, he was commenting on hockey sticks and what the hell I was using them for, and he didn't realize there was such a thing as bike polo.
• 21:55
That might be the secret to getting me back- [laughs]... on a bike now in the winter. [laughs] Yeah. Well, just... Well, in the summer it's even more fun. Oh, sure.
• 22:03
Like, you literally, you literally go to an open, like, a soccer field, and you get a couple of those cheesy... It's the only good thing to use a soccer net for, the little, the little dinky ones. Yep.
• 22:13
And you just throw those out there, and then, and you go play. It's- I'm into it... it's fantastic. I'm into that.
• 22:19
DJ and the boys in, in Tucson, when I've gone down there and hung out with those guys, are the guys that have got me into it and taught me how to make the sticks. I mean, those guys- Okay...
• 22:28
actually were using, like, real polo sticks. Oh, okay. You know, busted ones from, like, the guys- Sure... on horses, and it's, uh, it's- Yeah.
• 22:36
And then naturally being a hockey guy, you're like, "Well, I could probably fashion something up." Oh, yeah. Well, I saw somebody else had a hockey stick, and I'm like, "Wait a minute.
• 22:43
I know where there's a whole bunch of those broken hockey sticks." Yep. I've got several of those in my garage. Yep. And it, and so it's a hockey stick and a piece of PVC pipe. Can you get any cheesier than that?
• 22:51
But- I mean, it works great. But- And it looks like it's taped together. No, no, no. There's actually a bolt through there, but I put tape over it so that, that the bolt doesn't... And then, you know, you gotta- Okay...
• 22:59
and you gotta, you know, you gotta put some English on it, too, so there's gotta be tape on it like a hockey stick, right? Yeah. [laughs] That, that's where I got the tape from.
• 23:08
It almost looks like you just taped them together. No. It's... Well, it helps, it helps a little bit. I think other guys have glued it.
• 23:13
No, but being- As long as I don't catch a piece of PVC in the teeth, I guess, and bolted in, that's probably good. It's not... You don't worry about your teeth so much as you worry about the spokes on your bicycle.
• 23:23
That's fair. Yeah. That, that's fair. So let's see. So we talked Santa Rampage. Um, let's go back to what the boys are doing or the boys did in Arizona. There, there's a...
• 23:36
After we get done talking, I'll just play, um, the interviews I had with those guys.
• 23:42
So the premise behind what they're gonna do, it's not a very good, it's not a very good, um, interview, 'cause they were using a phone and using speakers, so there's some background noise that kind of screwed things up, plus four guys [laughs] fucking ordering drinks while we're trying to talk.
• 23:56
So that doesn't go over well. But that's, like, organic. I mean- It is. Yeah... that's what I like about it. It's like a, it's an organic feel to the interview. Yeah. Yeah.
• 24:03
You know, 'cause these guys are doing their thing on a ride, and, uh, were nice enough to- Yeah... drop in on a pod. So- Well, that... And it was nice enough to ca- a- and again, if it was
• 24:17
a normal year, it would've been a shit show. [laughs] I'm, I'm not kidding you- Sure... because I've been on this ride and it's a shit show. Awesome. Uh, uh, it's, um- Well, it sounds like it's right up my alley.
• 24:28
You would love it. I mean, y- it- it's... You would fit in really well because you're, you've got the mentality that's like, "If we're gonna go, we're gonna go. If we're not gonna go, I can have another beer," right?
• 24:38
[laughs] And that's pretty much what you... This- that's the attitude you have to have because- Perfect... and as, as you listen to the interview with these guys, so I'm making fun of Pat,
• 24:48
and I'm not kidding you, I've stayed at Pat's house... I'll bet I- I've- I've been there for a year. I mean, literally I've lived there for a year of- Awesome... of, of staying with him, and every fucking ride,
• 25:01
no matter what time it's supposed to start, we never make it, ever. [laughs] We are always late. We never get up. He's... You know, he sets his alarm clock and it goes off 8,000 times and he still doesn't wiggle.
• 25:12
[laughs] Sometimes we've walked into his room and it's like, "Is he alive?" [laughs] It's, um... The, the one that, that, that doesn't come out very clear in that o- it was kinda funny, we, uh,
• 25:22
we weren't gonna tell anybody I was coming to town, so I literally snuck into town, and he goes, "Well, there's not gonna be anybody at Boulder's on Broadway."
• 25:30
So it's a bar that we all the bikers hang out at, and we got down there and walk in the door, and there's fucking four people that we know right away.
• 25:38
[laughs] And then all of a sudden, like six more rolled in, and it had just turned into a gigantic party.
• 25:42
Like, we left at 2:00 in the morning, went back to his house, got up at 6:00 for the start of this ride that was supposed to... We were supposed to be at the bar at 6:00.
• 25:51
And it was like, oh, it was a, it was just a disaster. So now I, I've figured out why you ride, why you go to these rides, and it's because the, the shit show seems to follow you.
• 26:03
Well, it doesn't fo- And it just- I know where-... it just turns into a party. It does. It do- I mean, it, it does. It's, it's... And I, and I have to admit, I've kind of, I've kind of changed a little bit.
• 26:13
I've get back into riding a little bit more. I mean, I- So are you, are you the party? Is that what you're telling me? No. No, no, no, no, no, no. No, not at all. I think Chewy is the party.
• 26:20
I, I know where the parties are at. No. [laughs] I'm not, I, I don't instigate this shit very often. [laughs] Someone listening, chime in on a pod- [laughs]...
• 26:28
and please confirm or deny whether or not Chewy is the party. I don't know. I'm not. I just know that there's going to be one, and then- And you can't say no...
• 26:37
so, so the, the, uh, the, and Carrie's going to tell you, 'cause there's, she will f- probably put something out there that says that the, uh, we're gonna have one more, then we're gonna have one more.
• 26:47
[laughs] And then, and then are we gonna get the tab? So why does that sound familiar to Sunday Night Hockey at 613 Club? [laughs] I'm not the one that does that. That's you guys.
• 26:59
It's like, "Okay, we're gonna get the tab. We're gonna get another pitcher." But you, you can't say no. Well, no, I can't, because it's, I'm not allowed to. But, um- [laughs]
• 27:10
You can grab something out, else out of the fridge if you'd like. Oh. Should we, uh- We can... Do you wanna do it? You got one in here that you wanna... Oh, I'll try anything you wanna try. N- I mean, beer wise. Whoa.
• 27:24
What have we got here? Those are, those are from the Saint Paul Brewery, which is, if you've never been there, is the coolest fucking place in the world. It's the Old Ham's Brewery. I mean, Bimmy Juffet, the sour.
• 27:33
Let's do it. Should we try that? And oh, I like it. I had it. If you, if you'll do a sour with me. I'll do a sour. All right. That was not me. No, no, that wasn't the beer opening up, that was just the, uh-
• 27:44
The dolphins... the dolphin s- the dolphin saver. Yeah. Here we go. Oh, it sounds wonderful. And this is a big one. This is a, a crawler? This is a crawler. Okay.
• 27:57
Which is, which in Minnesota, this is like, um, kind of all you can really get. And- Which, you know, the beer scene has really kinda taken off.
• 28:06
Well, it's not new, um, but you know, the craft beer stuff, like anywhere else, has really kinda taken off. But it's kinda cool that, uh, even during COVID you can still go get really good beers, so.
• 28:20
Well, it, and, and I, I'm sure they're all hurting, but especially the ones that sell food. But I gotta believe that, that of anybody that's surviving somewhat, microbreweries are probably,
• 28:33
I don't know, I'm just guessing are in the best shape. Well, sure, 'cause I- Dude-... I gotta imagine that's kinda part of their, their business, right?
• 28:38
Is to- Uh, at least some of them, you know, the bigger part of their business is, is carryout- Sure... and, and you know, that... I, I'm not saying, I'm not saying that they're- Beer wise- Yeah...
• 28:47
I guess it's probably good for them. I'm not saying that they're getting rich off of it, but they're at least surviving off of it. Sure.
• 28:54
So this is a sour, and this is Saint Paul Brewery, which is actually, like I said, the Old Ham's Brewery. Um- Oh, cool. Oh, yeah. Oh, no, yeah, we have to go up there. Actually, we need to go up and do...
• 29:03
This will be the way I get you back into bicycling. We're gonna go up there and do a bicycle tour from, uh, microbrewery to microbrewery. I could get into that. Yeah, it's awesome.
• 29:13
The guys from Handsome actually have, I think, several different routes you can take that'll get you to anywhere from 5 to 11 breweries, depending on how you wanna do it. What do you think? It's smooth. It's a s- yeah.
• 29:24
No, their beer is good. Yeah, it's not a crazy, you know, like couple sours that I've had recently. I don't know if it's a trend, but they're almost like an orange juice, like a real thick... This is really good.
• 29:35
This, this is... I've had this for a bit and it, and it's tamed down a little bit from just b- sitting around, but it's still, it's, um, to me it's more of a traditional sour. Sure. Yeah.
• 29:47
So we're at a half hour, so we're just gonna keep going for another 10 minutes, 'cause we're... [laughs] Not long is it is. I'll have to speed this fucking shit up later. [laughs] God. I think that the- Actually, ac-...
• 29:57
the best part about it is, is, uh, watching Chewy set up the equipment and how much he curses at the equipment. You know, norm- the only time I've heard more curse words from him is when he's on the ice.
• 30:09
And it, and- Quite frankly... and, and Ted and Chad, and Chuck are my defensemen. Yeah, so, so [laughs] So I play goalie- [laughs]...
• 30:18
and, and, and Brad and I play on a Sunday night group that's literally we play hockey so we can go drink beer afterwards. That's the only reason we go out there. That's the only reason.
• 30:25
And, and we've got two very good friends of ours that are the most God awful defensemen- [laughs]...
• 30:30
that an old guy could ever have in front of him in the net, and I cocksucker those guys constantly, and it doesn't do any good. They just sit back and giggle anyway. They, 'cause they know they're bad. They don't care.
• 30:40
And that's the best part is, you know, there are times on the ice where I, I can't even-... like, breathe because I'm laughing so hard at the, uh, the conversation from goaltender to defenseman.
• 30:52
[laughs] And they're on the same team, mind you, so that's, uh, it's not a good mixture. Oh, yeah, no, no, it's... Actually, if we didn't do it, I think everybody would just go, "Are those guys mad at each other?" Right.
• 31:02
Well, but so the better part is is that when Brad comes down and shoots on me, I just stand there because y- the puck is always gonna go to the corn- he's, he's hit the net four times- [laughs]...
• 31:11
in the last seven years. It's, you know, it kind of goes along with, uh, when he's wearing the Grinch mask.
• 31:18
When you wear your Grinch mask, you know, it's, it probably works better than you doing the Santa Claus thing because the goalie thing works for you because we don't have to see your face. [laughs] It's behind the mask.
• 31:29
We just have to listen. And, uh, yeah. Oh, yeah, that's why, that's why I switched back to the old mask because you can hear me much better- That's true... out of the old school mask. That's true.
• 31:37
I, I did know coming here that I was gonna face the, the, "Oh, the Brad can't hit the net thing." [laughs] So I'm sure you [laughs] I'm sure you get tired of me aiming at your face.
• 31:48
Uh, but- Uh, you're not as bad as Randy. We've got, we've got a Canadian that plays with us that, honest to God, hits me in the face at least once a night, if not twice. And the first one happens in warmups.
• 31:57
Oh, yeah, yeah. [laughs] Five feet away too, by the way. Yeah. Yeah, he's horrible. And, I mean, the guy's got a shot. He does. He can hit the net. He can hit you in the face.
• 32:05
[laughs] At least, at least when I aim at your face, you know it's got a very low chance of hitting you. Yeah, it's more, more...
• 32:11
Honest to God, it's like, if I threw my glove in the corner, you would hit my glove nine times out of 10.
• 32:16
[laughs] And b- and, and the best part is is this is a bicycle podcast, so what we're talking about, everybody's gonna go, "Huh?" Although, in, in its day, think about it, all the bike shops used to sell skates.
• 32:28
Oh, okay. That was a winter thing, you know? So I mean- Sure... when I, when I was a kid, we went, we bought our first pair of skates from Rochester Cy- well, it's Cycling and Fitness now, but it was Rochester Schwinn.
• 32:36
Well, that's interesting. That, that's where we bought our skates. Okay. You know, so the back then, they were, they were that, you know, Stauber's. Stau- well, Stauber went the other way up in Duluth.
• 32:45
Stauber was a bicycle shop and a hockey store- Okay... and now they're just nothing but hockey. Sure. You know? But at the... But when, like, when you guys were kids, they still sold a few bikes. Wow.
• 32:57
And by the way, there's probably 30 years difference between Brad and I in age. [laughs] He's way fucking older than I am. [laughs] Oh, not nearly as good looking. But- That's w- that's why all my costumes have masks.
• 33:09
[laughs] You know, it, it kind of brings, you know, the question with, uh, you know, I hate to keep going back to COVID, but, um, you know, what are, what are...
• 33:19
You know, we know hockey's changed obviously, but what are, what do rides look like for you guys? They might change permanently. Okay. I, I really don't, I don't think so, so I was, I was, um...
• 33:32
You probably don't know this, but the guy who actually helped me set up and get started in podcasting, um, Greg Smith, that runs the ones out of Milwaukee, uh, their stuff over there was kind of going on more than...
• 33:45
I mean, everything in Minnesota just flat out done. Yeah. Don't do it. Shut it down.
• 33:48
You know, the bigger stuff in, in Milwaukee and, and Wisconsin, um, I'm kind of going Madison, Wis- Milwaukee, that's the guys I know more, backed way off and the bigger stuff shut down.
• 33:59
And then, and our buddy Zito was gonna run, um, his urban cross last weekend and at the last minute, he shut down just b- for the simple reason that too many people are gonna show up. Sure.
• 34:10
You know, and there's gonna be- Well, and that's the- And- That's a, that's a concern.
• 34:12
Yeah, and there's gonna be way too much beer drinking, and not that that's a problem, but there, you know, eventually there's gonna be hand ups, and you're gonna, uh, just- The masks come off... yeah. Um- You know?
• 34:23
Yeah, uh, you know, Greg did a ride the last time we did a podcast down there. We did Steel Is Real, and he, I think he was getting, like, 300 people to the ride, but he told everybody, "Here's a route.
• 34:33
Go ride it with your small groups. Keep it..." I don't think... I'll bet we had 15 maybe in our group. Sure. You know, and when you're on your bike and you stay distant, everybody's smart about it- Oh, right...
• 34:41
it was good. The bars were, we all stayed outside 'cause it was a beautiful day. So I, I think... I don't, you know, the only thing that I know that have died here is our Tuesday night rides have died.
• 34:54
Yeah, that's what I was gonna ask about. Because the Tuesday night rides had gotten to the point where they were bar to bar. Bar hoppy. Yeah, pretty much bar hoppy. And- Sure... and, and there's no bars to go into.
• 35:05
Right. And if there was a bar to go into, not everybody was comfortable doing it. Sure. So i- it's, I'm okay with that.
• 35:10
I, you know- Well, and I think you're more of the diehard cyclist where, you know, you're probably there more so for the cycling and the social aspect than- Me? Oh, yeah.
• 35:20
You know, and, and of course you'll- This beer drinking pisses me off. Right. [laughs] I mean, of course you'll drink a beer. We know, we know Chewie's gonna drink beer. There's no argument there.
• 35:28
But I think, you know, if you got a couple beers in the, in the bag on the back and, uh, you know, you put some miles on more so than you normally would, I don't think, you know, cyclists like yourself would, would argue with that.
• 35:41
No, I, um, I think, I think a few do, but I think generally speaking, everybody kind of like, "We can figure this shit out." Sure. We can, you know... And now that winter's coming, I don't know what's gonna happen. Um,
• 35:52
you know, there's a lot less people that do it, that ri- that ride in the, in the winter. I mean, there's still- Sure... small groups that do group rides and stuff, but it'll probably be more individual riding.
• 36:01
But I, I think the idea of, like, riding some place and having a bonfire, eh, I'm not so sure that's gonna happen. Yeah. I mean, the next two weeks are really gonna tell. So did it... Have you seen a lot?
• 36:10
Have you b- have you been doing less r- I know you commute. I mean, yeah. Have you been doing less, you know, social or fun riding? Oh, yo, definitely. Okay. Less, uh, and, and, you know, and no...
• 36:20
I mean, we were supposed to go to Maine for SingleSpeed USA, and we're supposed- Oh, no... to go to Belgium for SingleSpeed Worlds. Yeah. And those are both on hold. Um- And that's unfortunate.
• 36:29
Yeah, I mean, you know, um, we've, uh, it was r- I went to, when we went down and saw Tanner in Texas a couple weeks ago, I think it was a month ago, we, I went and rode with a couple people. Mm-hmm.
• 36:42
But we didn't, like, like, normally if I'd go down there, we'd try to, like, get a gang together and go ride. Sure. And, you know, it was just Anthony and I and, and, or by myself. You know, you, uh, it's-
• 36:52
And I noticed it, and I noticed it when we went to Arizona too. People are all out on the trails, but they're polite about it. You know, turn your head, try to keep your distance, whatever.
• 37:02
You know, if you're in a tight spot, the runners will step off to the side so you can ride by, and vice versa. You know, whatever you can do to make it work.
• 37:08
I mean, they- I think, I think people are getting exercise and being good about it. Mm-hmm. Just- Well, I think it, it's part of realizing that it's probably one of the few sports that, activities that you can do.
• 37:20
It's an ac- Well, it's an activity. It's no longer... I don't... I, I'll put it in category of sport, because there's no races. There's no- Yeah. There's nothing to that... there's no big rides or anything like that.
• 37:31
I mean, go out and ride your bike, sure, go ahead. Mm-hmm. And I think people can do that.
• 37:34
In fact, you know, that's why all of our, even myself and all the bike shops are out of parts and busy and, and stuff, is because people went out and started riding their bikes again.
• 37:42
And, and, um, we've had this discussion with other groups about how much, especially with bike shop owners, how, how busy they've been and how many people have gotten back into cycling.
• 37:54
And now the question is, is when COVID is over- What happens?... if it's ever over, and where it gets back to somewhat to normal, what, how, what percentage of the people are gonna, are gonna keep cycling?
• 38:03
Well, I think you might find the new- Well, we're hoping so... crop of cyclists, right? Well, the only, the only thing that's hurting it is e-bikes. [laughs] You know, it's- Would you tell us again how you feel?
• 38:12
[laughs] You knew I was gonna get... I, somehow I was gonna slide that in there. You knew that was- That, that shit-eating grin you had on your face. [laughs] It... I, I, uh, yeah, I, I still fucking hate them.
• 38:26
And I think- [laughs] And, and, and there's a couple things that happened in the last... Even beyond the story I've told everybody, and it's been on three different podcasts, so I'm not gonna tell you again.
• 38:35
Beyond that story, I've had more shit happen in the last... Actually, this is really funny. So Decorah seems to be my bane for s- for, for fat biking. So- [laughs]...
• 38:46
me and two other fat guys are out riding bikes in Decorah last Friday, Saturday, after Thanksgiving. I don't remember what it was.
• 38:53
We're on the trails, and there's, there's, there's more hikers actually out than there was bicycles, right? Sure.
• 38:58
So we're riding along, and we bump into some other guys who are all kinda standing around this lower, uh, spring-fed area. And this guy rides up, and he's on... And I could see him coming, it's like...
• 39:10
And you know how you know it's an e-bike? Little flashy fucking light on the front that's always going. [laughs] So this guy rides up there, and he's on a full suspension specialized e-bike. And- Full suspension?
• 39:22
And I don't know the guy. So I'm, I'm politely just sitting there, and we're just talking. And I'm just, you know, my fucking tongue is bleeding by this time. [laughs] And, um, [laughs] and we're sitting there talking.
• 39:35
And he, all of a sudden he, he said something about his e-bike, and he was a, he said he was just trying it. And then, and then he brought up something about that... And he's a fucking roadie on top of it all.
• 39:47
So- Oh, God... you know, the, the second group, you know? So it, it goes, it goes e-bikes, carbon bikes, and roadies. Oh, I forgot- Uh, uh, um-... about your, your hatred of carbon bikes.
• 39:57
[laughs] So, so that, that would be, in progression, that would be it, right? One, two, and three. So this guy's a roadie.
• 40:03
[laughs] And he's like, "Oh, yeah, I just did this, this big spin workout, so I, so I needed to use a fucking e-bike to go ride the trails." Oh, my God. And I'm like, "You cocksucker." I was so pissed off at that.
• 40:14
[laughs] And, and then so not knowing the guy, I probably wouldn't have said anything, but I couldn't help myself.
• 40:19
And I started lipping him, and then a couple of my buddies go, "Well, I s- guess it's time to ride," you know?
• 40:23
[laughs] So he takes off, and he's going up Rocky Road, and it's like, and I'll, I'll, I'll admit it now, I was catching that son of a bitch.
• 40:31
I don't give a shit how fast he was on an e-bike or not, I was not letting an e-bike get to the top of Rocky Road before I did. [laughs] And so I literally did catch him and pass him before...
• 40:41
There's, there's a little kick up at the very end that I literally can't ride anymore, and it's like, seriously, it's like 20 feet. But I just get off and walk.
• 40:49
So I at least got to that, walked up around the corner before he, and way before he came up there, 'cause he had to stop. He was on an e-bike, and he had to stop and catch his breath. Oh, my God.
• 40:59
Did you have to, did you cocksucker him? No, I didn't say a thing. I just, I just rode by him, and I just, I was kinda polite then, because it's like, it's like, "Dude, you're weak."

[laughs] But I, I, but it, I, it's like, I'm like, "Thank you for giving me more ammunition." It was like- That's great... I know I should almost take the guy out and bought him a beer for that.
• 41:16
So if they ever designed, like, a carbon e-bike, would you just die? [laughs] Greg Lamont is making one. Oh, so- Yeah... that's Chewie's retirement right there, is, uh, he'll retire from cycling.
• 41:27
Because that's two of his hatreds coming into one package, so. No, that's nothing a fire can't take care of. [laughs] No, I, his place will burn down, [laughs] and I'll be blamed for it. Um, yeah, I, I, I don't know.
• 41:40
I, you know, I'm sure there's gonna become a day where I'm gonna have to probably think about using one. I don't know when it's gonna be. I hope to God it never happens. So I mean, it's different if it's necessity.
• 41:53
Well, no, and I- You still have to get out and ride... and I, and I still won't argue with people that are using it for commuting, because- Sure...
• 41:58
if it keeps, if you have to wear a suit and tie, and that helps you commute to get to work, I, I've got no bitch about that. Mm-hmm. But there's other guys that are just like- Like Lucy. Like Lucy.
• 42:09
[laughs] Who, who, who, when you think about it, I mean, this is a guy that plays hockey four nights a week. Mm-hmm. And he's in super good shape for his age. Absolutely. I mean, how old is he? 97? Yeah, he's gotta be.
• 42:19
Yeah, that's what I thought. Yeah. I should triple check this. [laughs] But, but, uh, but he, I... And, and really, he bought his for the right reason.
• 42:29
'Cause he lives on the top of a hill, he puts in a 12-hour day as a nurse- Yeah... and he needed to get home. Well, and parking down there sucks. Right. And so, and so I, I'm okay with that.
• 42:39
But at the same time, when he goes out and rides with 10 of us on, whether it's the cycling, whether it's the hockey guys or the, or the Tuesday night ride, they come out on occasionally, doesn't matter.
• 42:49
He comes out and rides with us, and he's just- He's, he's... For Lucy, he's actually really decent about it. Okay.
• 42:57
He's not- Well, I think he probably knows your feelings [laughs] because- Well, 'cause he knows I'd run him into a crick if I could...
• 43:03
well, because we both know that that thing's gonna end up on your bike stand one day- [laughs]... and you're gonna be fixing it. No, no, no. I had Ellen's bike.
• 43:09
[laughs] I built the one for Ellen, and that one got thrown away because it was such a poor, um- Oh, I-... add-on system... I did hear you cursing about that one. That's right.
• 43:18
I wasn't the, I wasn't the only one that cursed about that one. There was several people cursing that helped me with that one, and that was- So that bike got retired. That f- that, that kit got retired. Okay.
• 43:27
'Cause the bike itself was actually a very nice bike, and she still has the bike. So is it like an aftermarket, like add-on kit? Yep, add-on little kit. Okay. Okay.
• 43:33
Yeah, and you know, and, and, and a little bit of the trouble might have been the fact that, that Ellen's small and so it's an, it was an extra small frame, so nothing fit right on it. Gotcha.
• 43:41
You know, so there's, there's probably a combination in there. Getting, not giving the company too much shit for making cheap- So you've had an e-bike in the shop. I used to work on Ron Vanbrederode's e-bike in the shop.
• 43:51
Oh, my God. And that thing was a wiring nightmare. It was like, it was like one of those, um, a company went out and bought- You're soft. I am. [laughs] Beer, beer makes me soft. [laughs] I'll do anything for a beer.
• 44:06
Although, look at the nice bikes I have in here now. I got a, I got a Cannondale fat bike and I got- That is a good-looking rig. It is a sharp bike. I like that. But this old Schwinn here- That's the way to go...
• 44:18
we might be Santa riding on that thing next year. Oh, you should. I don't know how she'll, I don't know how she'll do in the snow. You can't ride that bike in the snow. [laughs] I'm not gonna let you.
• 44:27
[laughs] I'm, I'm not gonna let you take it home if you're gonna ride it in the snow. That might just get hung up in the garage and just be the- [laughs]... the piece. That thing's beautiful. It is. It's an awesome bike.
• 44:36
It is in great shape. All right. All right, we're like way beyond our time. This has, this has just turned into its own podcast rather than tying it in with the other guys.
• 44:46
Well, we tend to bullshit quite a bit when we're together, so. Yeah. We're gonna have to do this again. Yeah. Yeah. I like having you out here. You bring good beer, so. That wasn't terrible. I do like the sour.
• 44:57
It's, uh... I'm glad you like that. Um, it's, uh- He's button jamming. Yeah, I am. I'm trying to, I'm trying to get to the, the closing music and not... And I'm just... I think, I can't remember the numbers.
• 45:10
[laughs] I'll write this shit down one of these days. But anyway- Well, thanks for having me. It was a blast... hey, thanks for coming out and helping out. Absolutely. Um, we'll probably have Brad...
• 45:18
Uh, we'll, we'll check our numbers and we'll, if we have more than five people listen to this, then you're coming back. Well, I'll report back, uh, after my first ride with you. Oh, yeah.
• 45:27
So you and I'll go on a ride, and then we'll, then we'll let you come back and, and, and do a podcast. We won't do them drunk because, uh, my drunk punk i- podcasts are really, really bad. I could only imagine.
• 45:37
Yeah, they're just- [laughs]... they're just God awful. All right, let's get out of here.
• 45:47
  [rock music]
