- 1:25Speaker 1: what he said? He said he carried the cross for us, y'all.

- 3:32Speaker 1: to do. I'll tell you God, it's truly amazing. He's
- 3:34Speaker 1: yet making some connections. He's yet allowing us to utilize
- 3:39Speaker 1: these gifts and these talents that he's given us. So
- 3:44Speaker 1: shout out, shout out, shout out, shout out. Not gonna
- 3:51Speaker 1: be on loan. I just want to jump on and
- 3:53Speaker 1: really just give a shout out for my trophy. Wanted
- 3:56Speaker 1: to give a shout out, what about trophy? Thank you?
- 3:59Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you for my trophy. And
- 4:02Speaker 1: I just wanted to jump on remind you guys that
- 4:06Speaker 1: we are still going to be live tonight on the
- 4:15Speaker 1: Crew podcast. Snett is going to be on tonight. We
- 4:22Speaker 1: are yet celebrating National Poetry Awareness Month. So if you
- 4:27Speaker 1: are a poet, get connected, because we have some opportunities
- 4:31Speaker 1: for you to allow your brand to speak. I am
- 4:34Speaker 1: definitely looking for some poets to be a part of
- 4:38Speaker 1: the virtual event that we're having on the twentieth. It's
- 4:43Speaker 1: called the Hot Seat. I am looking for twenty five
- 4:51Speaker 1: individuals to come on and be in the hot seats.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You'll have an opportunity to share your brand and to
- 5:04Speaker 1: share some of your poetry and connect with some of
- 5:08Speaker 1: the other poets as a part of the event. So
- 5:14Speaker 1: you get an opportunity to connect, You get an opportunity
- 5:17Speaker 1: to cut, an aborate, you get an opportunity to create,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and you get an opportunity to be a part of
- 5:25Speaker 1: a community, helping build a community as that because yes,
- 5:31Speaker 1: we are definitely building a supportive network over here where
- 5:36Speaker 1: you can support each other. I tell you the support
- 5:40Speaker 1: the love that was in the room this weekend was
- 5:43Speaker 1: left and shy of amazing. I tell you, God know
- 5:47Speaker 1: what you need, when you needed, how you need it.
- 5:49Speaker 1: If you just align with that that you need, remove
- 5:54Speaker 1: self out the way, and think about those things that
- 5:57Speaker 1: you're supposed to be doing, y'all. I am getting ready
- 6:02Speaker 1: for the podcast for tonight. I just jumped on because
- 6:06Speaker 1: I wanted to give a shout out to KBC Companies
- 6:13Speaker 1: the Bookstore for my amazing award. Thank you, thank you,
- 6:17Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. It gets added to the collection,
- 6:23Speaker 1: it gets added to the collection. So, y'all, these are
- 6:27Speaker 1: the things that we are doing over here in the group.
- 6:31Speaker 1: We want to be able to highlight individuals and provide
- 6:36Speaker 1: them with opportunities where they can be highlighted. I'm looking
- 6:39Speaker 1: at all of the amazing authors that have taken opportunities
- 6:42Speaker 1: to share their books to be a part of some
- 6:46Speaker 1: of these platforms where you can get your books reviewed
- 6:51Speaker 1: and they get selected to be a part of awards
- 6:56Speaker 1: that they give out. So it is a great opportunity
- 7:00Speaker 1: for you to connect with resources like this, and then
- 7:03Speaker 1: you get an opportunity to do interviews, you get an
- 7:06Speaker 1: opportunity to be featured in magazines, and it's just all over.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You get to connect with those that are connected with
- 7:13Speaker 1: different platforms so that you can can share your brand, y'all,
- 7:17Speaker 1: that's what it's all about, a stand visible. How many
- 7:21Speaker 1: times have you shared your book today? How many times
- 7:25Speaker 1: have you shared your brand today? How many times have
- 7:28Speaker 1: you mentioned what it is that you do today? Like,
- 7:34Speaker 1: if we don't talk about what we're doing, how do
- 7:37Speaker 1: people know what we're doing? If we don't talk about
- 7:41Speaker 1: our books, how do people even know we got books?
- 7:50Speaker 1: What other things do you have that can bring in
- 7:56Speaker 1: revenue around your books? Do you have t shirts? Do
- 8:02Speaker 1: you have hats? Do you have pins? Do you have notebooks?
- 8:05Speaker 1: Do you have work books? Do you have journals? Do
- 8:09Speaker 1: you have planners? Do you have something digital? Do you
- 8:15Speaker 1: have something interactive? Do you have something you can do
- 8:21Speaker 1: an app? You can do all kinds of stuff that
- 8:24Speaker 1: can engage people with your book. So these are things
- 8:29Speaker 1: that we talk about inside of the group. We share
- 8:32Speaker 1: in our We have a group chat through Messenger where
- 8:38Speaker 1: all of us are. We engage every day. Somebody's posting
- 8:42Speaker 1: something hello, good morning. We post challenges, we share each
- 8:48Speaker 1: other's stuff, We have contests. We just do a lot
- 8:51Speaker 1: of different things that can help you gain visibility, that
- 8:55Speaker 1: can help you even get comfortable with the different things
- 9:01Speaker 1: that you do on a personal level, because a lot
- 9:05Speaker 1: of us we are new authors and sometimes we don't
- 9:08Speaker 1: know what to do. So being around other people that
- 9:14Speaker 1: have journeyed through some of the processes that you have already,
- 9:18Speaker 1: they can kind of share the things that have worked
- 9:21Speaker 1: for them and then the things that have not worked.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So these are the things that we're doing. So again, y'all,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'm on here today talking about the one hundred at
- 9:30Speaker 1: the movement getting involved and sharing with you guys a
- 9:35Speaker 1: little bit about what is all about. So it is
- 9:38Speaker 1: not a competition. It's not an award platform where we're
- 9:42Speaker 1: gonna be handing out the awards, but we do try
- 9:44Speaker 1: to share with you opportunities where you can be nominated
- 9:49Speaker 1: for awards, where you can be featured in magazines, blogs,
- 9:54Speaker 1: various things. So it is an opportunity for you to
- 9:59Speaker 1: just be a part part of a community that's supporting
- 10:02Speaker 1: each other. You can ask some of the current one
- 10:10Speaker 1: hundred authors movement who and you asking what we're doing
- 10:21Speaker 1: over there, how they like it, you know, the vibe
- 10:24Speaker 1: and all that good stuff. I can't promise you that
- 10:28Speaker 1: you're gonna walk away with a million dollars that you're
- 10:31Speaker 1: gonna walk away with a million books sold. But I
- 10:35Speaker 1: can't promise you that you're gonna feel like you've gained
- 10:39Speaker 1: some resources that you didn't have before you came. You're
- 10:42Speaker 1: gonna feel like you're a little more empowered because we're
- 10:45Speaker 1: gonna encourage you. We're gonna we're gonna lift you up,
- 10:48Speaker 1: We're gonna inspire you because we want you to be
- 10:52Speaker 1: encouraged to stay on this journey. So I feel like
- 10:55Speaker 1: being a part of the movement will help you do
- 10:59Speaker 1: just that. And if you need an idea about what
- 11:03Speaker 1: we're doing, please go visit our blog, go look at
- 11:08Speaker 1: some of our YouTube's and you can see what we're
- 11:11Speaker 1: doing over at the one hundred Authors Movement. We are
- 11:15Speaker 1: doing a lot of interviews, we are sharing a lot,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and we're gonna start back we have We're gonna be
- 11:22Speaker 1: showcasing our men. Our men celebration is coming up, y'all know.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Every month, every June, we always celebrate our men. It
- 11:31Speaker 1: is our Men History Month for Aspire Authors magazine, and
- 11:36Speaker 1: we've been doing this for the last five years. I
- 11:39Speaker 1: didn't hear a lot about anybody doing anything for men,
- 11:42Speaker 1: so I say, you know what, I am my brother's keeper,
- 11:45Speaker 1: so I'm gonna do this. So I dedicate June to
- 11:49Speaker 1: the month to celebrate our men, because it's more than
- 11:53Speaker 1: just that one day. Father's Day is not just about
- 11:57Speaker 1: those that happen to have help father or bring a
- 12:02Speaker 1: child into this world, create a child, but it's those
- 12:05Speaker 1: that take care, those that spend time with, those that nourish,
- 12:08Speaker 1: those that pour into those that are leaders by examples.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Those are the individuals that we want to highlight, those
- 12:18Speaker 1: that we want to showcase. So if you are a
- 12:20Speaker 1: mail and you are an author, you're a speaker, you're
- 12:24Speaker 1: an entrepreneur, whatever you are, and you are leading by example,
- 12:29Speaker 1: we want to share you in the month of June
- 12:33Speaker 1: in the magazine as well as the podcast. There is
- 12:38Speaker 1: a flyer floating around somewhere. I have to grab it.
- 12:41Speaker 1: But there's a fire floating around about that as well.
- 12:45Speaker 1: We have the poetry that's coming up on April the twenty.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Now that is something that I need all of my
- 12:53Speaker 1: poets that get involved in. It is called the hot
- 12:56Speaker 1: seat and you get three minutes and thirty three seconds
- 13:00Speaker 1: to spit some poetry, talk about your brand, how they
- 13:04Speaker 1: can connect with you all that gets stuff, and then
- 13:08Speaker 1: if you want to hang around, you get to hang
- 13:09Speaker 1: around to the end. And once all of the poets
- 13:13Speaker 1: have gone, we're gonna open it up for those that
- 13:16Speaker 1: want to ask questions, those that want to engage in
- 13:21Speaker 1: conversation with the poets that are hanging around, because we
- 13:24Speaker 1: want you, guys, to be able to connect with these
- 13:27Speaker 1: amazing individuals that not afraid to share their journey, whether
- 13:32Speaker 1: it's through poetry, whether it's through books, podcasts, magazines. However
- 13:35Speaker 1: they're sharing, they're being transparent, they're being real, they're being
- 13:39Speaker 1: down to earth because guess what, y'all, it's all about
- 13:43Speaker 1: us healing. It's all about us going to the next level.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And y'all, how sweet will it be if we could
- 13:52Speaker 1: help those that we call friends, those that are in
- 13:56Speaker 1: our circle, those that support the things that we do.
- 14:01Speaker 1: If we could just be our brother and sister's keeper,
- 14:05Speaker 1: If we could just support one another, if we could
- 14:08Speaker 1: uplift each other, if we could just pour into each other.
- 14:11Speaker 1: How amazing it could be if we could build a
- 14:15Speaker 1: platform where everybody is winning, everybody is supportive, everybody is
- 14:22Speaker 1: able to engage, everybody is able to bring something to
- 14:27Speaker 1: the table and everybody is able to eat in there,
- 14:32Speaker 1: able to take a to go box, just like going
- 14:34Speaker 1: to Olive Guard. Huh, just like going to Olive Guard.
- 14:38Speaker 1: You can go to Olive Garden right now and you
- 14:40Speaker 1: can sit there. They're gonna give you that all you
- 14:43Speaker 1: can eat salad or soup. You're gonna get all you
- 14:45Speaker 1: can eat breadsticks, and then of course you're gonna have
- 14:48Speaker 1: your meal, and then you get a to gold plate.
- 14:53Speaker 1: They give you a to gold plate, and that is
- 14:56Speaker 1: the by one, get one, the eat one here and
- 14:59Speaker 1: take one to go. So that's just like when you collaborate,
- 15:04Speaker 1: when you partner with people. That's like you bring in
- 15:07Speaker 1: something to the family table. When you go to corrobas
- 15:10Speaker 1: and you sit at the family table, everybody bringing their meal,
- 15:16Speaker 1: like you go to a pot that you bring your
- 15:19Speaker 1: pot what you're bringing, and then you're able to sample
- 15:23Speaker 1: a little bit of what everybody else brought to the table,
- 15:27Speaker 1: and then you're able to get full. And then because
- 15:30Speaker 1: everybody brongs something, guess what, it's more than enough. So
- 15:36Speaker 1: if you want to take something with you, you're still
- 15:38Speaker 1: able to take something with you. And that's when you grow.
- 15:43Speaker 1: When you come together, you collaborate, you partner, and you
- 15:47Speaker 1: grow together as you grow and develop, as you're lifting
- 15:51Speaker 1: each other up, and you're becoming a leader, and you're
- 15:54Speaker 1: developing your own circle. As you develop your leaders, guess what,
- 16:01Speaker 1: they're gonna develop leaders one day, and they're gonna branch out.
- 16:05Speaker 1: But just if you're doing your job, the individuals that
- 16:09Speaker 1: you're bringing up, those that you're coaching, those that you're
- 16:12Speaker 1: showing the way, they're never ever ever going to depart.
- 16:17Speaker 1: They're always gonna be there. They're always gonna be there
- 16:20Speaker 1: to support, and they're always gonna be there to bring
- 16:23Speaker 1: other people to the circle. Because guess what, just as
- 16:27Speaker 1: you may have led them, they may need you to
- 16:30Speaker 1: lead someone else so that they may be able to
- 16:34Speaker 1: go to the next level. Because guess what, in order
- 16:37Speaker 1: for us to elevate, who, thank you, Holy ghosts. In
- 16:40Speaker 1: order for us to elevate, y'all, somebody got to take
- 16:45Speaker 1: your place. So if you're not raising nobody up, thank you,
- 16:50Speaker 1: Holy ghosts. If you're not raising nobody up, guess what,
- 16:55Speaker 1: that's not gonna be anybody to take your place when
- 16:59Speaker 1: you elevate to the next level. So while you're you're
- 17:03Speaker 1: sitting on stuff, and you're trying to hold stuff in
- 17:05Speaker 1: and you're trying to horwer stuff, and you're hoping that
- 17:08Speaker 1: if you kick them right there. Guess what, they're gonna
- 17:13Speaker 1: venture out And they're gonna eventually find that. And when
- 17:16Speaker 1: they find that that that mentor that coach, that will
- 17:19Speaker 1: allow them to grow and will allow them to venture out,
- 17:25Speaker 1: and then they can begin to grow other people. Guess
- 17:28Speaker 1: what they gonna be in the wind. They're gonna be
- 17:32Speaker 1: in the wind, and you're gonna be wondering where they at.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Y'all stop stifling your people, Let them grow, let them learn,
- 17:42Speaker 1: But never forget, never forget, never forget the one that
- 17:49Speaker 1: help you get where you are. We can never forget
- 17:54Speaker 1: those that helped us along the way, those that assisted us,
- 17:58Speaker 1: those that crawl or so that we could walk, those
- 18:04Speaker 1: that ran so that we'll be able to spread, so
- 18:10Speaker 1: that we'll be able to loan, jump, so that we'll
- 18:13Speaker 1: be able to jump hurdles. See, it's somebody that paid
- 18:19Speaker 1: the way before everybody in order for them to get
- 18:22Speaker 1: to the next level. So don't just think that you're
- 18:25Speaker 1: gonna arrive overnight. Know that there's a process. Know that
- 18:30Speaker 1: there's some things that you gotta go through. But just
- 18:33Speaker 1: as you go through them, you got to know that
- 18:37Speaker 1: there's the other side through. So now that you got
- 18:40Speaker 1: to get through, so that you can get through the
- 18:42Speaker 1: other side of through. And when you get through the
- 18:45Speaker 1: other side of through, you can begin to praise them,
- 18:48Speaker 1: and then you can begin to share it with somebody
- 18:50Speaker 1: else so that somebody else can get to the other side.
- 18:54Speaker 1: That's how he said, we overcome by the sharing of
- 18:58Speaker 1: our testimony. Yeah, it's only a test just for a moment,
- 19:04Speaker 1: just so we can get to that testimony so that
- 19:07Speaker 1: we can tell somebody else how we got through, and
- 19:11Speaker 1: then we can share with them how we went through. See,
- 19:17Speaker 1: if you never go through something, you can't tell nobody
- 19:20Speaker 1: how you got through. See every lesson that that that
- 19:26Speaker 1: that's an experience. See I post a question, and the
- 19:31Speaker 1: question was do you live to get the lesson or
- 19:38Speaker 1: do the lesson teach you to live? Which one come first? Uh?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Is it a revive or a reciprocal? Is it a Uh?
- 19:50Speaker 1: If you do one, the other is the result. Uh.
- 19:54Speaker 1: In it's vice versa and then repeats itself and it
- 19:56Speaker 1: turns the circle. I mean it it is an every holder.
- 20:03Speaker 1: So I can say life taught me lessons, or I
- 20:10Speaker 1: can say lessons taught me life. It's all and how
- 20:15Speaker 1: you say it and who said, I guess, but to
- 20:20Speaker 1: me it all means the same. But it's how you
- 20:24Speaker 1: interpret it and how you give it. So what are
- 20:27Speaker 1: you giving out and what are you taking in? Y'all?
- 20:34Speaker 1: I'm telling y'all, just been he even over here, downloads
- 20:36Speaker 1: some things and I just been taking it in and
- 20:38Speaker 1: I just want to share it because I just want
- 20:40Speaker 1: my people to know that they can't get through whatever
- 20:44Speaker 1: it is that they're going through, like a lot of us.
- 20:49Speaker 1: We have books in us, but yet and still we
- 20:53Speaker 1: continually just continue to continue to continue to continue with
- 20:57Speaker 1: join somebody's anathology. When you have an anatholis, you're in
- 21:00Speaker 1: you like it's time for you to allow that gift
- 21:06Speaker 1: that He's given you. But he allowed you to come
- 21:10Speaker 1: across individuals that can assist you, that can help you,
- 21:13Speaker 1: that can lead God and direct you for a reason
- 21:17Speaker 1: because one thing about the Holy Spirit and the one
- 21:21Speaker 1: that created us, he said he would never leave us
- 21:24Speaker 1: nor forsake us. So he can't physically be here with
- 21:28Speaker 1: us because he's not coming back down out the sky.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So since he can't physically be here with us. He's
- 21:36Speaker 1: placed people, he placed is angel. He's placed people for
- 21:40Speaker 1: us to come in contact with, for us to cross path,
- 21:45Speaker 1: for us to align with, so that those things can manifest,
- 21:50Speaker 1: so that these things can come to pass. Like a
- 21:54Speaker 1: lot of us, things have been spoken over our lives
- 21:56Speaker 1: because a lot of us we've been in church all
- 21:57Speaker 1: of our life. That's all we know is church. All
- 22:00Speaker 1: we know is the Word. But just because we know
- 22:03Speaker 1: the word and that's all we've done all our life,
- 22:05Speaker 1: does not mean that it's been in us and that
- 22:09Speaker 1: we have lived that and that we have been living examples.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Because I'll be the first to tell you that I
- 22:17Speaker 1: have not always I've not always been this person that
- 22:19Speaker 1: would be doing the things that I'm doing, Nor did
- 22:22Speaker 1: I think I would be that person. Because me, I
- 22:25Speaker 1: thought I had to be perfect. I thought I had
- 22:27Speaker 1: to be a certain way in order for God to
- 22:30Speaker 1: use me. But He showed me. He showed me that
- 22:33Speaker 1: I didn't have to have all these degrees. I didn't
- 22:35Speaker 1: have to have all these titles. I didn't have to
- 22:37Speaker 1: have all that for him to do what he wanted
- 22:40Speaker 1: to do in my life. When he raised me up
- 22:43Speaker 1: off my better of affliction. He gave me the opportunity
- 22:46Speaker 1: to use my voice. He gave me the opportunity to
- 22:50Speaker 1: use books. He gave me an opportunity to use platforms
- 22:53Speaker 1: like this to share his goodness, to let people know
- 22:57Speaker 1: that you don't have to be a certain way, and
- 23:00Speaker 1: that He is everywhere. Everything that we do we cannot
- 23:03Speaker 1: deny him, and nothing that we do. I don't care
- 23:06Speaker 1: if you're going to take the garbage. He see everything.
- 23:09Speaker 1: When we think we escaping, we ain't escaping nothing, because
- 23:12Speaker 1: guess what, He see everything. So when you think you're
- 23:20Speaker 1: sitting down on people, know that you're not sitting down
- 23:26Speaker 1: on people because people didn't give you that gift. God
- 23:29Speaker 1: gave you that gift. Some of us are so talented
- 23:34Speaker 1: and we have so much that we can offer the world.
- 23:38Speaker 1: But yet we will make excuses. We will make excuses
- 23:42Speaker 1: for why we can't do this, why we can't do that,
- 23:45Speaker 1: Why this happened, why this happened, why this is going on.
- 23:49Speaker 1: But yet if we sit back and we look at it,
- 23:54Speaker 1: we are the excuse. We are the reason why things
- 23:59Speaker 1: are not moving forward. We are the reason why things
- 24:02Speaker 1: are happening the way that they're happening, and it's decisions
- 24:06Speaker 1: that we're making. Half of the time, we're not even
- 24:09Speaker 1: making decisions, We're just allowing things to just happen right
- 24:12Speaker 1: before us. Like I asked this question all the time,
- 24:16Speaker 1: are you allowing life to happen around you? Or are
- 24:20Speaker 1: you living? And if you are allowing life to happen
- 24:24Speaker 1: around you, then shame on you. Because all He requires
- 24:29Speaker 1: of us, it's a love, a little more, to be inspirational,
- 24:33Speaker 1: to inspire somebody, to show that we have the fear
- 24:37Speaker 1: of Him in us. And how do we do that
- 24:40Speaker 1: by educating the power and encouraging those around us, leading
- 24:44Speaker 1: by example, being that voice, being that outlet. Like some
- 24:51Speaker 1: of us, we have so many things that God has
- 24:55Speaker 1: done for us that He's delivered us from, that he
- 24:58Speaker 1: set us free from we were able to overcome, but
- 25:03Speaker 1: we will never testify about it. We never share it.
- 25:06Speaker 1: We never we never are transparent because we true consume
- 25:11Speaker 1: and to worry about what other people think about us,
- 25:15Speaker 1: when at the end of the day, it does not
- 25:18Speaker 1: matter because all of the stuff that we have done,
- 25:22Speaker 1: all the stuff that we've done to try to please people,
- 25:24Speaker 1: it's not gonna matter because if that dash everything on
- 25:29Speaker 1: that dash. If it does not line up with what
- 25:31Speaker 1: he has called and purposed us to do, it's not
- 25:34Speaker 1: gonna matter. It's not gonna matter at all. So if
- 25:39Speaker 1: you are not walking in that that he's called you
- 25:43Speaker 1: to and you are not aligning with what he's purposed
- 25:47Speaker 1: you to do, I challenge you on today. Check your circles.
- 25:54Speaker 1: See why you are not being encouraged by the people
- 25:58Speaker 1: that call you fred people that call you supporters, people
- 26:03Speaker 1: that say they got your back, because if they truly
- 26:06Speaker 1: had your back, some of them would do a little
- 26:09Speaker 1: more than they do. Like I love I love my podcast,
- 26:17Speaker 1: I love my podcast family because when nobody else shows up,
- 26:23Speaker 1: they're always there. Trevina, that lady will travel anywhere, and
- 26:28Speaker 1: I love her for that. That is one of the
- 26:31Speaker 1: things that I fell in love with her because we
- 26:34Speaker 1: didn't really even know each other and she was willing
- 26:37Speaker 1: to travel four and a half almost five hours away
- 26:40Speaker 1: to help me celebrate. Yes. For that, I will forever
- 26:47Speaker 1: respect her and she will always have a special place
- 26:50Speaker 1: in my heart. But she's not the only one. Shenett.
- 26:56Speaker 1: We travel the world together. We get on the plane.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Woman getting on the plane. She don't mind getting on
- 27:01Speaker 1: the plane. She don't mind meet me in Texas, she
- 27:03Speaker 1: don't mind meet me wherever. And I need people like that,
- 27:11Speaker 1: people that was willing to go and being a part
- 27:14Speaker 1: of something and not worried about who else is gonna
- 27:18Speaker 1: show up, but knowing that we on a mission and
- 27:22Speaker 1: that we're going to do that that He's called us
- 27:24Speaker 1: to do. Y'all. When we go to Chicago, I hope
- 27:27Speaker 1: to see a lot of y'all. I hope y'all show
- 27:30Speaker 1: up because it's gonna be an opportunity for us to connect.
- 27:33Speaker 1: It's gonna be an opportunity for you to share your brand.
- 27:36Speaker 1: It's gonna be an opportunity for us to celebrate an
- 27:40Speaker 1: amazing individual that's dropping a powerful book that's gonna bless lies.
- 27:47Speaker 1: So it's gonna be an opportunity for us to celebrate, y'all.
- 27:51Speaker 1: What better time to come together than to celebrate us,
- 27:57Speaker 1: because so many times they have tore us down. They've
- 28:00Speaker 1: said that we wouldn't be doing the stuff that we're doing.
- 28:04Speaker 1: But yet we rise, Yet we allow our voice to speak,
- 28:09Speaker 1: because yet we not our ancestors. And the reason why
- 28:14Speaker 1: we're not our ancestors because our ancestors went through what
- 28:18Speaker 1: they went through so that we don't have to go
- 28:20Speaker 1: through it. And now it's our turn. It's our turn
- 28:24Speaker 1: to take the paton and ride this out and go
- 28:30Speaker 1: through so that the next generation don't how to go
- 28:33Speaker 1: through what we're going through. So will you pick up
- 28:37Speaker 1: your paton? Will you wear it? Will you be greater
- 28:43Speaker 1: than your ancestor? Will they be able to say, I
- 28:47Speaker 1: ain't like my ancestor because my ancestor went through that
- 28:52Speaker 1: so I wouldn't have to go through it. And that's
- 28:56Speaker 1: why we do what we do, y'all, because we are
- 29:00Speaker 1: not our ancestors. They went through all of that. They
- 29:04Speaker 1: bore all of that so that we wouldn't have to.
- 29:08Speaker 1: They did it so we would have a better life.
- 29:10Speaker 1: They did it so we wouldn't have to sacrifice the
- 29:12Speaker 1: things that they sacrifice. Why would they sacrifice that for
- 29:17Speaker 1: us to have to keep sacrificing it. They sacrificed it
- 29:20Speaker 1: so we wouldn't have to. So don't get mad when
- 29:24Speaker 1: people say I'm not my ancestors. They went through what
- 29:28Speaker 1: they went through so we wouldn't have to, So you
- 29:31Speaker 1: should be proud that you're not them. It's not a
- 29:34Speaker 1: dis because we can never we can never replace what
- 29:41Speaker 1: they did for us. It's because of what they did
- 29:44Speaker 1: for us to allow us to do what we do,
- 29:48Speaker 1: so that will never be forgotten and that can never
- 29:51Speaker 1: be overlooked. It can never be erased, It can never
- 29:53Speaker 1: be nothing because it's all ways down in here because
- 29:56Speaker 1: we know, we know our history, we know what we've
- 30:00Speaker 1: been through. They can try to take it out the books,
- 30:02Speaker 1: they can try to take it out, the libraries, they
- 30:04Speaker 1: can try to wipe it out, the Smithsodian, they can
- 30:07Speaker 1: try to wipe it out or whatever, but you can
- 30:09Speaker 1: never take away what it's been done. Because it's been done.
- 30:13Speaker 1: It's always gonna be a part of history. And as
- 30:15Speaker 1: long as we tell it, we can tell our story
- 30:18Speaker 1: because it's our story. They can't tell us what we
- 30:21Speaker 1: can tell our children and what we instill in them,
- 30:28Speaker 1: because they not instilling nothing in them. All they want
- 30:31Speaker 1: to do is brainwash them and think that make them
- 30:33Speaker 1: think that they are not when they are more than enough. Honey,
- 30:38Speaker 1: we are over there in Genesis twelve, I mean twelve, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen.
- 30:42Speaker 1: We over there in Genesis where they say the chosen one.
- 30:44Speaker 1: When they talk about the chosen know that You're chosen
- 30:46Speaker 1: because you are that one over there in Genesis. So
- 30:53Speaker 1: when they start talking about we munkets and we all that, yeah, huh,
- 30:58Speaker 1: go look in the mirror because I'm chosen and I
- 31:02Speaker 1: can be what you want me to be. But I
- 31:06Speaker 1: know who I belong to, and y'all, I didn't jump
- 31:10Speaker 1: on him for that. But I tell you, when God
- 31:12Speaker 1: do what he do, he do what he do. And
- 31:14Speaker 1: I go back and look at this, I'm gonna be like, wow, Angela,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I know I went all the way around, but I
- 31:21Speaker 1: thank God. I did not plan to be on here
- 31:22Speaker 1: thirty minutes. I look up and I say thirty minutes.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I say, well, okay, Lord, and I'm sitting here like, okay,
- 31:27Speaker 1: come on, let me come on down. So y'all, I
- 31:30Speaker 1: appreciate y'all for just allowing me to come on here
- 31:34Speaker 1: and share. Sometime I just jump on. I have no plan,
- 31:39Speaker 1: I have no mething. I just want to be used
- 31:41Speaker 1: by God. I just want to be a vessel. I
- 31:43Speaker 1: just want to be an outlet, to be able to
- 31:45Speaker 1: share our goodness and to let people know that, you know,
- 31:48Speaker 1: there's some perfect people in this world. We're never gonna
- 31:51Speaker 1: be perfect people. He already know the mistakes that we're
- 31:55Speaker 1: gonna make. He already know the paths that we're gonna take.
- 31:58Speaker 1: He already know this decision that we're gonna make, because
- 32:02Speaker 1: He know our thoughts before we even think them. But
- 32:06Speaker 1: we have the choice. We have the free will to
- 32:11Speaker 1: make the choices that we make, and we have to
- 32:15Speaker 1: understand that with every choice that we make, there's a consequence.
- 32:21Speaker 1: So when we make those choices, we have to be
- 32:23Speaker 1: willing to go through those consequences as well. So y'all
- 32:27Speaker 1: don't pretinude to sit down on your gift. If God
- 32:30Speaker 1: has given you an outlet, if he's given you opportunities
- 32:34Speaker 1: to share your brand, to share that that He's placed
- 32:38Speaker 1: on the inside of, you'll get those books out. If
- 32:42Speaker 1: you're not ready to write a whole book, look for
- 32:44Speaker 1: opportunities where you can join collaboration projects. There's always people
- 32:48Speaker 1: out here doing collaboration projects. And if you're not If
- 32:53Speaker 1: you want to put on a collaboration project and don't
- 32:56Speaker 1: know what to do, look I am a publishing coach.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Will coach you along the way, and I'm not gonna
- 33:02Speaker 1: charge you on thousands and thousands of dollars. I start
- 33:06Speaker 1: out at five twenty five, and I coach you along
- 33:10Speaker 1: the way and different things that you won't done. I
- 33:14Speaker 1: tell you what it costs, you can do it, or
- 33:17Speaker 1: we can work through it. I can show you how
- 33:19Speaker 1: to do it, I can coach you on how to
- 33:21Speaker 1: do it, or we can third party it out. Because
- 33:25Speaker 1: there's so many people out here that do so many
- 33:28Speaker 1: different things, and their prices are reasonable, so you don't
- 33:31Speaker 1: have to be overwhelmed with all of this trying to
- 33:35Speaker 1: just do stuff on your own. So utilize the different resources.
- 33:42Speaker 1: But if he don't give you something, y'all put it
- 33:44Speaker 1: out there. Y'all with books that should have been out
- 33:50Speaker 1: three or four years ago. What you wait now, I
- 33:53Speaker 1: ain't gonna call your names, but you know who you are.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Some of y'all had books that was supposed to have been
- 34:01Speaker 1: out in January. Get your books are not out. Stop
- 34:07Speaker 1: making excuses. Excuses are for that company and none of
- 34:12Speaker 1: y'all are in company. So get up off your hind parts.
- 34:15Speaker 1: As they will say, shout out to Black Diamond, doctor Keeba,
- 34:20Speaker 1: doctor Debora Franklin, and Pharaoh. That is their book. That
- 34:29Speaker 1: is the name of their book. Get up off your
- 34:31Speaker 1: hind parts. Y'all, that book is out, some of y'all
- 34:34Speaker 1: might need to go grab that book and read it,
- 34:37Speaker 1: and and and and and and see, you know how
- 34:40Speaker 1: you can get up and get going. And then some
- 34:42Speaker 1: of us got books out here, and then we act
- 34:45Speaker 1: like the book gonna sell itself, like it's gonna do
- 34:48Speaker 1: what it's supposed to do by itself. No, it needs
- 34:50Speaker 1: you to to get out here and be a voice
- 34:52Speaker 1: for it, and and and to to to to be
- 34:56Speaker 1: a light for it so that people can get to
- 35:00Speaker 1: know you, so that they can truly follow and support
- 35:04Speaker 1: the platform. Because trust me, there's so much more in
- 35:07Speaker 1: you that needs to come out, and there's so much
- 35:11Speaker 1: more that people need that's gonna help them get through.
- 35:16Speaker 1: It's somebody out there right now that needs you to
- 35:19Speaker 1: get through what they're going through. That's gonna help them
- 35:22Speaker 1: get through the other side. So I challenge y'all, let
- 35:27Speaker 1: this be the week that you decide to step into
- 35:31Speaker 1: that that you're supposed to be walking in In the
- 35:35Speaker 1: next thirty days. I want some of y'all to come
- 35:39Speaker 1: back to this very video and say, I'm working on
- 35:42Speaker 1: my book. I got a book coming out, And if
- 35:46Speaker 1: y'all don't want nobody to coach, y'all. If y'all just
- 35:48Speaker 1: want to go, pick up the book, y'all, it's eighteen
- 35:51Speaker 1: dollars on walmart dot com. Go to walmart dot com.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Learn how to publish yourself. It's outlined in a book.
- 35:59Speaker 1: You got notes, right, notes down and go to work.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Give you timp to give you stuff that you can
- 36:04Speaker 1: go and you can research and you can find out
- 36:06Speaker 1: stuff for yourself. You don't have to let people keep
- 36:09Speaker 1: taking your money. Y'all. Things are getting rough, things are
- 36:12Speaker 1: getting tough. So these are opportunities for you to really
- 36:16Speaker 1: utilize these resources, these things that you have amongst you,
- 36:21Speaker 1: because y'all, we gotta keep living, We gotta keep providing,
- 36:25Speaker 1: we gotta keep going. So if we keep this money
- 36:28Speaker 1: going within our community, because y'all, we gotta live. So
- 36:34Speaker 1: why not support each other. Why not support each other
- 36:38Speaker 1: on this mission, on this journey we call life. Y'all
- 36:42Speaker 1: gonna get on out of here because we getting ready
- 36:44Speaker 1: to go live at eight o'clock. So I got to
- 36:46Speaker 1: get ready to get the studio ready for the hosts
- 36:49Speaker 1: that are coming on to do the show. So thank
- 36:53Speaker 1: y'all for jumping on and spending these last thirty six
- 36:57Speaker 1: minutes with me. Anyway. I love y'all. I appreciate y'all again.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Shout out to what it's this RBC Book Awards. Thank
- 37:09Speaker 1: you for this amazing trophy. I appreciate you, guys, Thank you,
- 37:14Speaker 1: thank you, thank you again, thank you guys for tuning in.

- 37:40Speaker 1: great one.
