- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Camra Jeedge.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Okay, so we are on for our final episode talking
- 0:16Speaker 2: about Orange County for this season to teas in a
- 0:19Speaker 2: Pod and a sea. We are so grateful to have you,
- 0:23Speaker 2: Cynthia and all of your hot takes. All Right, So
- 0:27Speaker 2: we're going to go through these best moments best slash
- 0:30Speaker 2: worst moments for some. But it starts off where Shannon
- 0:35Speaker 2: says on camera John was ready to take the next
- 0:38Speaker 2: step but dumped her after filming ended. Emily says that
- 0:42Speaker 2: Shannon shares things with people she's on a show with,
- 0:46Speaker 2: then acts like she doesn't understand how the show works.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Do we agree with Emily and that if you're on
- 0:52Speaker 2: a reality show, everything is fair game if it's shared
- 0:56Speaker 2: between the cast.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I think if you choose to be on the show,
- 1:01Speaker 3: you know, everything is fair game. Like for the most part.
- 1:04Speaker 3: The only time I will say you're crossing the line
- 1:07Speaker 3: is anything with kids, anything, it's kind of crossing line.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I would have to agree with you
- 1:15Speaker 1: and say, like, if you're on a show, I know personally,
- 1:19Speaker 1: if I'm going to tell Emily, Gina, Heather, anybody anything,
- 1:23Speaker 1: there is a chance it's gonna be brought up later
- 1:26Speaker 1: on the show.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Now it's true you have.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Alliances with certain people on the show.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I can't take the word alliances.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You have ships with certain people on the show, and
- 1:38Speaker 1: maybe you you don't repeat certain things, like if I
- 1:42Speaker 1: have a friendship with Shannon and sometimes we talk and
- 1:45Speaker 1: we don't talk about the show, has nothing to do
- 1:47Speaker 1: with the show. And you know, if if I'm going
- 1:50Speaker 1: and telling this to somebody that's not necessarily my good
- 1:54Speaker 1: friend on the show, I got a good drink on purpose,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I gotta believe it's gonna come back and hit me
- 2:00Speaker 1: the face.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know, I think it's just smart.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Don't put anything in writing, don't say anything you don't
- 2:06Speaker 1: want repeated.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a slippery slope, especially when you're actually on
- 2:11Speaker 3: a show with someone, because you know, there's certain things
- 2:15Speaker 3: that if it plays out and it's just the truth
- 2:19Speaker 3: of what's happening, it's hard to be like, no, that
- 2:21Speaker 3: didn't happen, and then they show a flashback of it happening.
- 2:24Speaker 3: So I've gone through great links to try to protect
- 2:27Speaker 3: my friendships on the show as much as I could.
- 2:29Speaker 3: And then when I couldn't. It's kind of like, all right, well,
- 2:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna sit this one out because I can't protect you.
- 2:34Speaker 3: But I like, there's things that have happened on and
- 2:37Speaker 3: off the show in some of our relationships that I
- 2:39Speaker 3: will literally take to the grave, like, no matter what
- 2:41Speaker 3: they say about me, too, will not do it because
- 2:44Speaker 3: that's just the kind of friend I am the off show,
- 2:48Speaker 3: that's just me.
- 2:49Speaker 2: But then once it is exposed, it is up to
- 2:52Speaker 2: that current housewife to then own up to those things
- 2:56Speaker 2: versus blame everybody else for those things happening, because clearly.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And that's what I dealt with this year. As soon
- 3:04Speaker 1: as it was brought up and I put my two
- 3:06Speaker 1: cents in, I'm getting blamed.
- 3:08Speaker 2: This is a lie.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You're lying.
- 3:10Speaker 2: No, I'm not lying. I mean I felt like this
- 3:12Speaker 2: sad part for this was and I'm not saying I
- 3:15Speaker 2: would be any different. But do you think that John
- 3:20Speaker 2: enjoyed being on the show when everything was great for
- 3:25Speaker 2: him and he was getting that good everybody was loving him?
- 3:29Speaker 1: Right, Well, let me ask you this question. Do don't
- 3:32Speaker 1: most people enjoy being on the show. Don't most people
- 3:35Speaker 1: that have never been on TV and all of a
- 3:36Speaker 1: sudden you're on TV and everybody's praising you, and you're
- 3:38Speaker 1: getting special treatment and you know, getting reservations wherever you want. Yeah,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I think most people love being on the show.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I agree, it's so good. It's a great experience for them.
- 3:51Speaker 3: It's only when the bread dot is on their head.
- 3:54Speaker 1: But then, but then when things flip and then everybody
- 3:57Speaker 1: sees you for who you are and hate you, then
- 3:59Speaker 1: it's not fun on this show.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I mean, what I do appreciate about John is he
- 4:04Speaker 2: doesn't seem to be like one that's going on social media, commenting,
- 4:09Speaker 2: doing all the things. And that's similar to like Shane.
- 4:11Speaker 2: When Shane had his bad episode, like his bad season
- 4:15Speaker 2: when him and Emily first came on, Shane wasn't going
- 4:18Speaker 2: on and trying to fight like a fight like she
- 4:21Speaker 2: knew he came on as you know, a say, where
- 4:24Speaker 2: was Shane? Nor is Shane.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I can't stand when the guys get on there on
- 4:29Speaker 1: social media and try to defend themselves like little bitches.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I just can't stand it.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I can't stand that John was over there like yeah,
- 4:38Speaker 3: fighting for scenes. I made it literally seem like every
- 4:40Speaker 3: time he popped up on the screen. It was probably like,
- 4:43Speaker 3: oh my god, I just didn't feel like you ever
- 4:46Speaker 3: really wanted to shoot. Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Do you think he was trying to protect Shannon? Do
- 4:50Speaker 2: you think yeah, he was telling her I want to
- 4:52Speaker 2: marry you and leading her on and doing those things
- 4:56Speaker 2: because he didn't want to hurt her on teletoon.
- 4:58Speaker 3: You know how time?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Do you know how many times my husband says has
- 5:02Speaker 1: said things on camera when you get put on the spot.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Then I'm like, what do you talk afterwards?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Why would you even say that? And he's like, I
- 5:09Speaker 1: didn't know what to say, Like I didn't know what
- 5:11Speaker 1: to say.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Edwin said the worst thing ever to me on camera,
- 5:15Speaker 2: still to this day, this worst thing he's ever said
- 5:17Speaker 2: to me in the history of our relationship. He said
- 5:21Speaker 2: it to me on my first season and it was
- 5:22Speaker 2: never shown. And still to this day, I think my
- 5:25Speaker 2: lucky stars because men go in, they clamp up, and
- 5:29Speaker 2: then they say stupid shit that in real life you
- 5:32Speaker 2: can laugh off or say, go yourself, Yeah, but I
- 5:35Speaker 2: think those men can't think ten steps ahead.
- 5:38Speaker 1: And when you're playing, when you're on the show, you
- 5:40Speaker 1: have to If I say this, like, am I going
- 5:44Speaker 1: to get like a flashback of me doing that?
- 5:46Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Like, so like Eddie doesn't think he does well, whatever
- 5:50Speaker 1: he says, whatever he wants to say, and sometimes look
- 5:52Speaker 1: like why would you say that?
- 5:54Speaker 3: And I think I think the women on the show
- 5:56Speaker 3: are just a little bit more aware of how the
- 5:58Speaker 3: smallest thing can turn into a big thing. So we're like,
- 6:01Speaker 3: I don't really like self edit, but we're not stupid.
- 6:04Speaker 3: It after like a couple of seasons, like there's nothing
- 6:06Speaker 3: like first season where you're like, Okay, I get it now.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I get it now. Yeah, I will say.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Eddie got to know John a little bit while we
- 6:13Speaker 1: were filming, and I asked him, I said, do you
- 6:14Speaker 1: feel like he's just once camera time? He goes, No,
- 6:17Speaker 1: not at all. I don't feel like he's I don't
- 6:19Speaker 1: get that impression from him.
- 6:21Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say it. Man, just don't seem like
- 6:24Speaker 3: he's as in love with Shannon as Shannon is the man.
- 6:26Speaker 3: That's just what I'm saying. I'm just saying two people,
- 6:28Speaker 3: two great people that just don't work together.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Well, it seems like they have a very toxic relationship
- 6:34Speaker 1: and you throw alcohol and you throw TV cameras in
- 6:36Speaker 1: front of it, and it's not gonna end, Well.
- 6:50Speaker 3: What about?
- 6:51Speaker 2: To me? This was a really big red And listen,
- 6:55Speaker 2: every time I've ever been around Shannon, I have absolutely
- 6:59Speaker 2: loved She has been nothing but kind and funny, she
- 7:03Speaker 2: loves to make herself too seriously all of these things.
- 7:08Speaker 2: But when she started making the proclamations on this second
- 7:12Speaker 2: episode where I'm just.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Gonna be sharing storms with dor and I'm doing this
- 7:18Speaker 4: show but I've shown more than everybody else and I
- 7:22Speaker 4: did this and I did that, I wonder like, is
- 7:26Speaker 4: she doing this because she's feeling so down in this
- 7:29Speaker 4: moment that she's just going to throw out anything she can,
- 7:32Speaker 4: or like, why.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Was that happening?
- 7:34Speaker 1: I disagreed when she did that and said I did this.
- 7:38Speaker 1: We've all done a lot of things. I've been on
- 7:40Speaker 1: the show for thirteen fourteen, I don't remember how many years,
- 7:43Speaker 1: thirteen years, and I've gone through a lot. Gina's gone
- 7:47Speaker 1: through a lot. A lot of us have gone through
- 7:49Speaker 1: a lot on the show. So's she's not doing any
- 7:52Speaker 1: better than anybody else.
- 7:54Speaker 3: So yeah, I agree. I agree. When I saw it,
- 7:57Speaker 3: I was like, I've literally given the blood out of
- 7:59Speaker 3: my veins to Atlanta, Okay, to divorces my child came
- 8:04Speaker 3: out flew them the show like anything that really happened
- 8:06Speaker 3: in my life. I gave it to the Real House
- 8:09Speaker 3: of Atlanta. And I did it because I signed up
- 8:13Speaker 3: to be on the show, right, So you don't get
- 8:15Speaker 3: like an extra point for actually showing your reality. And
- 8:18Speaker 3: I think, you know, some things are harder to show
- 8:20Speaker 3: than others, like and that's it really is good TV
- 8:24Speaker 3: when it actually is thankful to actually show it go
- 8:26Speaker 3: through it. But we we've all done that, and that's
- 8:29Speaker 3: what a reality story is.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I all issue with people talking about themselves and the
- 8:35Speaker 2: third person. I just I do too, I really, I
- 8:40Speaker 2: it just I don't know why it makes me feel
- 8:43Speaker 2: a certain way, but I'm like, please, please don't do that.
- 8:46Speaker 2: And also I can't help myself. I don't call her
- 8:49Speaker 2: Shannon storms the Door. I don't. I just call her Shan.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Do you call him John Jensen, John Johns.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I do call him John Jansen. I do. But the
- 9:00Speaker 2: next part that left me feeling a little bit confused,
- 9:04Speaker 2: is it not only does she keep breaking the fourth
- 9:06Speaker 2: wall and saying, you know, this is a television show
- 9:09Speaker 2: and blah blah blah, and I've given this. I was like,
- 9:12Speaker 2: this is kind of a kiss of death when you
- 9:14Speaker 2: start saying those things and then they're actually airing it.
- 9:17Speaker 2: But then when she bold face said she doesn't like Gina,
- 9:22Speaker 2: I I know there are moments where I'm like, this
- 9:25Speaker 2: person isn't my favorite, or we're probably not friends, or
- 9:29Speaker 2: we're not that close. But has there ever been a
- 9:31Speaker 2: person to either of you guys, that you have said
- 9:34Speaker 2: that about on a show, or that you feel that
- 9:36Speaker 2: way to this day where you could just because even
- 9:40Speaker 2: my biggest issue when I was on Beverly Hills, the
- 9:45Speaker 2: person who everyone knows, I still wouldn't say I just
- 9:52Speaker 2: don't like you. I would say, like, we have.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Issues, You're not my type of girl.
- 10:00Speaker 2: It's all I have to say.
- 10:01Speaker 3: There's a way to say it, for sure. But you
- 10:04Speaker 3: know what I learned early on on being in Atlanta
- 10:07Speaker 3: was there is some comfort in knowing if you just
- 10:10Speaker 3: really don't like me, because that way I can just
- 10:12Speaker 3: navigate around you. You just put it out there and
- 10:14Speaker 3: that's what it is. Then it's easy to go against you.
- 10:17Speaker 3: It's easy to hold you on fire time like it's
- 10:20Speaker 3: it's actually a blessed to be like, okay, so we're
- 10:21Speaker 3: not gonna be we're gonna be enemies on the ship.
- 10:23Speaker 3: So this is clear, because the relationships gets super confusing
- 10:27Speaker 3: sometimes when you're on a show together. It really really does.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So if you're just gonna declare yourself and put it
- 10:33Speaker 3: out there you don't like me, then okay. If you
- 10:34Speaker 3: don't like me, and I don't feel like I've really
- 10:38Speaker 3: done anything where I can't at least get a chance
- 10:39Speaker 3: for us to try to work on a relationship, all right,
- 10:41Speaker 3: let's go. You don't like me, then I don't really
- 10:43Speaker 3: focus any energy on you.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Wait, don't you think that can shift? Like I toually
- 10:48Speaker 2: think that at the beginning me and Erica, the two
- 10:51Speaker 2: of us did not like one another. And I can
- 10:53Speaker 2: say with one hundred percent certainty that shifted.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah, But isn't that the nature of the show. We
- 10:58Speaker 1: see friendships go up and down, You get to know people.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Do you like him? Yeah, maybe not at this.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Moment, Maybe you do next week. But you know, Shannon
- 11:06Speaker 1: says she's like Gina because she accused Shannon of masking
- 11:09Speaker 1: her divorce with alcohol. To me, that was just Gina's opinion.
- 11:15Speaker 1: That was one statement that Gina made that made Shannon
- 11:18Speaker 1: in her head.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Go, I don't like you.
- 11:20Speaker 1: That's the reason why I don't like you. I mean,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I don't feel like that's a valid reason. I don't know,
- 11:26Speaker 1: it's not enough, but I do feel when it comes
- 11:30Speaker 1: to the show, if anything is said to Shannon about drinking,
- 11:34Speaker 1: it's very much a trigger to her to dislike somebody.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Which is actually the hardest part of this discussion. You know.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I think even when we saw leading into this episode
- 11:47Speaker 2: where it's like this happened two weeks prior to shan'sy
- 11:52Speaker 2: like all of it, it's just incredibly heartbreaking. I do
- 11:55Speaker 2: believe that everybody makes mistakes, and clearly this was hers,
- 12:03Speaker 2: but toppled with bringing up Gina's kids, bold face, saying
- 12:09Speaker 2: you don't like Gina, all of it, it just it
- 12:14Speaker 2: gave me the ink where it's like, I feel like, listen,
- 12:19Speaker 2: do I think that all three of us on this
- 12:21Speaker 2: podcast can do up things? One hundred percent?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Yeah, there's nobody on the cast I can say I
- 12:27Speaker 1: dislike or hate nobody.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Yeah, no one at all.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I mean, even the problems with me and Jhen, I
- 12:33Speaker 1: don't hate her. I don't at all. I don't like
- 12:36Speaker 1: what went down the season. I feel bad for some
- 12:38Speaker 1: of the things, but I also hold her accountable as well,
- 12:42Speaker 1: So you know, you don't go on a reality show
- 12:45Speaker 1: with all this baggage and think, oh, it's not gonna
- 12:47Speaker 1: come on the show.
- 12:48Speaker 2: No one's gonna know, Well what about you.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I just feel like with any job, any situation with women,
- 12:54Speaker 3: some people are just gonna connect with more than others.
- 12:57Speaker 3: You're just gonna like more than others. It just is
- 12:59Speaker 3: what it is. Is you know everyone you know, don't
- 13:03Speaker 3: They don't have to like each other. I think there's
- 13:05Speaker 3: a certain respect that has to happen between each other
- 13:07Speaker 3: if they're going to co exist on a show like this.
- 13:10Speaker 3: But I can honestly say there were definitely times where,
- 13:13Speaker 3: you know, I was around people that probably didn't really
- 13:16Speaker 3: like me, and I didn't really care for them, but
- 13:18Speaker 3: I need to publicly say for them. No, I would
- 13:22Speaker 3: never say I don't like this person's.
- 13:24Speaker 2: That was just trying to hurt somebody. That's like, that's
- 13:28Speaker 2: not Shane. That's like what.
- 13:31Speaker 3: It was, and it came off hurtful the way the
- 13:33Speaker 3: way she delivered it was very hurtful. Now they're sitting
- 13:37Speaker 3: together and it's like, hey, you know what, I just
- 13:38Speaker 3: don't really feel like I've connected with you. It's not
- 13:41Speaker 3: that I don't like you, but I don't like what
- 13:43Speaker 3: we are and I don't feel in connection with you,
- 13:45Speaker 3: which is pretty much basically, you're not my girl, You're
- 13:47Speaker 3: not my cup of tea whatever.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I also think you say things at the reunion, like
- 13:51Speaker 1: my comment back to Jen Jen was defensive, where I
- 13:54Speaker 1: say you're a piece of shit or something like that,
- 13:57Speaker 1: or your horrible person, and I I go cheater like
- 14:01Speaker 1: that because I knew that bugged her, even though I
- 14:03Speaker 1: didn't give a shit about her cheat and her husband.
- 14:06Speaker 1: So that part right there, like sometimes you come back
- 14:08Speaker 1: with things because you're just pissed off because two seconds
- 14:11Speaker 1: before that, I said, I think you're a wonderful person.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like so sometimes, well, I asked, I actually
- 14:17Speaker 2: asked Emily, I said, what is your biggest regret from
- 14:21Speaker 2: this reunion? And she said, my biggest regret is that
- 14:24Speaker 2: I allow Heather to annoy me so badly that I
- 14:27Speaker 2: laughed out at her instead of arguing with her calmly
- 14:31Speaker 2: and coolly. If I could have kept my cool with her,
- 14:33Speaker 2: I could have gotten my point across better, and I
- 14:37Speaker 2: let my anger come out as aggression versus just Emily
- 14:42Speaker 2: don't stop.
- 14:43Speaker 1: That's why you're good TV. Emily is a top tier housewife.
- 14:47Speaker 1: She's doing all the things she's supposed to do, but.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Then her face, my la. Her other thing that she
- 14:53Speaker 2: said to me is and by the way, let everybody
- 14:55Speaker 2: know that Judy is the new Karen.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I'm going to start using Judy Judy. I don't think
- 15:03Speaker 1: I know any duties.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I don't I know a Judith. Does that count? Yes?
- 15:09Speaker 2: But either way, then we get into Emily tells Heather
- 15:11Speaker 2: that she has no sense of humor. Heather says that
- 15:14Speaker 2: is rude, and Emily said it is rude to call
- 15:16Speaker 2: her snuffle up. I guess they go back and forth. Okay,
- 15:19Speaker 2: I think there's a difference, and tell me if I'm wrong.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I think there's a difference between having a sense of
- 15:26Speaker 2: humor and also not taking yourself too seriously. I think
- 15:31Speaker 2: you can be funny but also take yourself too seriously.
- 15:35Speaker 2: And I think that's where these it was lost in
- 15:38Speaker 2: translation here. Yeah, I think Heather.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I think Heather does have a sense of humor one percent.
- 15:43Speaker 1: I've spent a lot of time with her. She's funny.
- 15:45Speaker 1: But I think what Heather Heather's very sensitive, so little
- 15:49Speaker 1: things really really hurt her. Like one time I asked her,
- 15:52Speaker 1: I said, why are you mad? What did you think that?
- 15:54Speaker 1: I said, like you said, you know, every episode I
- 15:57Speaker 1: said something negative about you, and she said to me, well,
- 16:01Speaker 1: you told me to eat and I went, what like that?
- 16:05Speaker 1: That to me was like, you need to eat, Like
- 16:07Speaker 1: we're filming and sometimes we don't eat when we film.
- 16:09Speaker 1: You need to eat, you need energy.
- 16:12Speaker 2: But the problem is that because of things that have
- 16:15Speaker 2: been written online are the things. But that's what I'm saying.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I don't know that.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I don't think that, Like I'm just saying, you need
- 16:21Speaker 1: to eat. And so I'm saying my point is she's
- 16:25Speaker 1: sensitive and maybe because somebody has said to her you're
- 16:27Speaker 1: too thin or you're whatever, and it was a trigger
- 16:30Speaker 1: to her. And I'm like, oh, I didn't know that, Like,
- 16:32Speaker 1: that's not what my point was. But so she's very sensitive,
- 16:36Speaker 1: very very sensitive, and I think, more so this season
- 16:41Speaker 1: was more sensitive than I've ever seen her. And she
- 16:43Speaker 1: agrees she's going.
- 16:45Speaker 2: My favorite quote of this entire reunion was what Emily
- 16:49Speaker 2: says that Heather called Tamra an asshole, and Heather goes,
- 16:53Speaker 2: she is an asshole and then turns to Tamra and says,
- 16:57Speaker 2: and I love you and sometimes you are an asshole,
- 17:00Speaker 2: and Charmer says, but we were on good terms better
- 17:04Speaker 2: an asshole. Yet I don't even I don't.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Even remember what we were talking about exactly then, but uh,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I can't even remember.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I don't know if it was.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Was it about the coming out of the bathroom and
- 17:20Speaker 1: talking to the old producer and she looked at us
- 17:23Speaker 1: and said, get me off this show.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I think that's what it wows. It was a little
- 17:27Speaker 2: slice of Heaven't.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but it was like I had even been an
- 17:30Speaker 1: asshole too.
- 17:32Speaker 3: And I love that moment because I mean true be told,
- 17:36Speaker 3: I mean you definitely are an asshole a lot. Yeah,
- 17:41Speaker 3: and that actually, for some reason, HiT's different than me
- 17:43Speaker 3: said I don't like you for some reason perspective, It's
- 17:46Speaker 3: like I rest somebody called me an asshole, then tell
- 17:49Speaker 3: me they just actually don't like me.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Also, did you notice that like with the filming when
- 17:54Speaker 2: they were like asshole, like they they like their mouths
- 17:59Speaker 2: like I was like, oh my god, yeah, but yeah, no.
- 18:04Speaker 3: I don't know a vocabulary in general, like vocabulary like
- 18:10Speaker 3: the word like she like when she like when her
- 18:12Speaker 3: breaths are very much like, okay, let me google this.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Well, I know she's super smart. That's why I started
- 18:17Speaker 1: calling her. That's why I started calling her fancy pants
- 18:20Speaker 1: years ago. I'm like, I don't know can you can
- 18:22Speaker 1: you dumb it down? I don't know what you're talking about?
- 18:24Speaker 3: Please know how to respond? Like I was like, I
- 18:26Speaker 3: don't think I would want to spar with her because
- 18:28Speaker 3: I don't even know how what she's saying. Yeah, she's
- 18:30Speaker 3: very intelligent.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Well, she did have a good way of kind of
- 18:34Speaker 2: like Andy would start a question and then she would
- 18:37Speaker 2: finish the question to her favor. I was like, you're good.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Can we I don't even know if I'm skipping around,
- 18:44Speaker 2: but can we talk?
- 18:45Speaker 1: I don't know where you're at this point.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Well I've skipped because I got too excited. When Tarama
- 18:50Speaker 2: snapped at Andy.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Who okay, listen, so he had he had asked a
- 18:58Speaker 1: question that was and then he goes and says like, well,
- 19:04Speaker 1: in twenty twenty two, you had said things about them.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm like, really, let me answer the question. It's like
- 19:12Speaker 1: me saying, but Teddy, in twenty twenty two, he said
- 19:15Speaker 1: something bad about me like, I'm like, why are you
- 19:18Speaker 1: trying to like change this scenario.
- 19:21Speaker 3: What did you say? Like, you said two things like
- 19:23Speaker 3: golf and stop it. You need to shut up? You
- 19:27Speaker 3: say to shut up.
- 19:28Speaker 2: She also said I think you send dick pics.
- 19:32Speaker 1: We but I have that kind of relationship with Andy
- 19:35Speaker 1: where I can go back and forth with him afterwards,
- 19:38Speaker 1: like he didn't say a word. Then we were at
- 19:39Speaker 1: Watch Happens Live and Eddie's like, oh, I heard my
- 19:41Speaker 1: wife went after you. He goes, that's nothing like we
- 19:44Speaker 1: laughed about it. There's people out there going, oh, she's
- 19:46Speaker 1: gonna lose her job now she went up against Annie. No,
- 19:49Speaker 1: that's good.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Now that's how he just tells me. He leaves you. Yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 2: but he was like, all right, fair, it's fair.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Well, I had made a point that you know, when
- 20:00Speaker 1: I was off the show, it was okay for Real
- 20:04Speaker 1: House in Orange County to continue to They talked about
- 20:06Speaker 1: me in every single episode the year I was gone,
- 20:11Speaker 1: every single episode, and it was the girl saying things
- 20:14Speaker 1: like she's satan, she's this, and all these things. So
- 20:16Speaker 1: do you think, knowing me, I'm gonna sit back and
- 20:19Speaker 1: just go, oh, okay, I'm not gonna say a word
- 20:22Speaker 1: about that. So, yeah, I did say things. I absolutely
- 20:26Speaker 1: said things, and I told Andy, I go, is that okay?
- 20:29Speaker 2: He's like, hmmm, I get your point now, Well I
- 20:43Speaker 2: was thinking right when you did it, I was like, shit,
- 20:45Speaker 2: has camera snapped at me like that yet? I don't
- 20:49Speaker 2: think you have.
- 20:50Speaker 1: No, I don't have anything to argue with you about.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Well, let's let's let's find something. Do you think I
- 20:56Speaker 2: would cry if you did? What would my response be?
- 21:00Speaker 1: It depends. If you're drunk, you just get mean, true facts.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Drunk she has Oh she has this where she's funny. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 1: fun and then when it's too much alcohol, it's mean, mean,
- 21:14Speaker 1: mean mean And I know not now, I know not.
- 21:17Speaker 2: To take it seriously. Yeah, I mean we saw it once,
- 21:24Speaker 2: but that's I mean, it's it's lucky. I get two
- 21:26Speaker 2: times a year where I can do it.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I'm happy, I'm a happy and then very sleepy drunk.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm happy, sloppy sleepy.
- 21:36Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:37Speaker 2: We also so we saw napkin throwing.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Happy, sloppy mean sleepy?
- 21:44Speaker 3: How's that camera? What is what is your biggest regret
- 21:48Speaker 3: of the season coming back? What is your biggest regret?
- 21:53Speaker 1: I think probably the you know how in detailed the
- 21:58Speaker 1: gen stuff god and how it just got rep that
- 22:01Speaker 1: was like I should have said my piece, said whatever
- 22:03Speaker 1: and just let it go. I think throwing the napkin
- 22:07Speaker 1: in her face was probably that, like the best thing.
- 22:10Speaker 1: When she said to me like I had the hots
- 22:12Speaker 1: for her boyfriend, I'm like, no, sweetie, I have a
- 22:16Speaker 1: pretty hot husband.
- 22:17Speaker 2: In the moment when you threw the napkin, because I
- 22:20Speaker 2: couldn't talk to you about this stuff during filming when
- 22:23Speaker 2: you threw the napkin, did you notice in the moment, shit,
- 22:26Speaker 2: I just really screwed this up or we were like,
- 22:29Speaker 2: she's not not in the moment. Not in the moment.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I was too drunk, and part of my problem was
- 22:33Speaker 1: the season as I drank too much and as you know,
- 22:35Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm not much of a drinker, like I.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Love Yeah, yeah, that's such a real thing. And for me,
- 22:43Speaker 3: like one of my biggest regrets on the eleven years
- 22:46Speaker 3: I did Atlanta is when I actually kicked Porsche like
- 22:50Speaker 3: I still to this day like hate. Then I was
- 22:52Speaker 3: drinking too. We're on the boat and yeah eaten, and
- 22:54Speaker 3: I was going through whatever I was going through and
- 22:58Speaker 3: till this day, that's like, how did I let myself
- 23:02Speaker 3: do that? And thank god we were able to just
- 23:04Speaker 3: get on the other side of it really quickly and
- 23:07Speaker 3: move on. But that is one go down my biggest regret.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I mean I think I think all
- 23:18Speaker 2: in all, we saw the positives of every single woman
- 23:21Speaker 2: on Orange County and we also saw some negatives for
- 23:24Speaker 2: each one of them, which is where I think, you know,
- 23:26Speaker 2: you have a dynamic cast. And I think towards the
- 23:31Speaker 2: end when Tamra and Heather kind of have the moment
- 23:35Speaker 2: and Tamra says she's always loved Heather and it's very
- 23:38Speaker 2: difficult to not have Heather in her life, and Tamra
- 23:40Speaker 2: said she wants to move forward, and then Heather says
- 23:42Speaker 2: something along the lines of like you're my housewife, vampire.
- 23:46Speaker 2: We're like, I'm going to get it wrong, but like
- 23:49Speaker 2: you suck my blood, and then I, you know, whatever
- 23:51Speaker 2: it made.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she's been telling me that from day one,
- 23:55Speaker 1: for ten years or however long it's been I've done her.
- 23:57Speaker 2: But I actually think it's truth. I think that, but
- 24:00Speaker 2: you guys are so different but also so similar in
- 24:04Speaker 2: certain ways. Yeah, that it really makes dynamic television. It
- 24:07Speaker 2: doesn't feel like a television friendship. Even though you guys
- 24:12Speaker 2: aren't always in the best place. Like you guys are
- 24:16Speaker 2: actually trying to be the most authentic that you can be,
- 24:20Speaker 2: and your most authentic self will sometimes drive each other freakin' mad.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I think we've never had a problem. We've always had
- 24:26Speaker 1: a really good friendship. I think coming back knowing, you know,
- 24:30Speaker 1: not knowing where my place was, knowing that those things
- 24:32Speaker 1: were said on the podcast, and then hearing from other
- 24:34Speaker 1: cast members that you know, what was said about me
- 24:37Speaker 1: from her, it really spun my head. And of course
- 24:39Speaker 1: I'm coming back and I want to make a statement.
- 24:42Speaker 1: You know this this show. I'm not saying I'm coming
- 24:44Speaker 1: back just to make a statement, but you're a little
- 24:46Speaker 1: bit more heightened, just a little bit, and I think
- 24:49Speaker 1: that you know, these are things that you have in
- 24:52Speaker 1: your back pocket that you're like, you know, what are
- 24:55Speaker 1: we doing?
- 24:56Speaker 2: What are we talking about?
- 24:56Speaker 3: Do you like me?
- 24:57Speaker 2: Do you not like me? Like?
- 24:58Speaker 1: We went over this a million times, so now I
- 25:02Speaker 1: don't think we'll ever go back to that. We're going
- 25:05Speaker 1: to lunch next week. I'm going to La hopefully seeing
- 25:08Speaker 1: one of her two houses that she bought in la
- 25:10Speaker 1: hopefully both of them, and just you know, taken it
- 25:14Speaker 1: back to where it was. I think dislikes you the most, Jen, probably,
- 25:20Speaker 1: but I think Jen knows I'm right. You know, Jen
- 25:22Speaker 1: reached out to Taylor to ask how I was, and
- 25:27Speaker 1: you know, she could have easily reached out to me directly.
- 25:31Speaker 1: She knows I would never like go off on her,
- 25:33Speaker 1: even though she probably was afraid because she knows that
- 25:35Speaker 1: her and Ryan both have been going after me in
- 25:36Speaker 1: the press. And you know, as much as I don't
- 25:39Speaker 1: like it and it's coming out of left field, I
- 25:41Speaker 1: don't understand it, It's not the best look for her.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I really wish Jen had spoken up more in the
- 25:48Speaker 3: season about like like, I would have liked to have
- 25:51Speaker 3: seen you guys like go through all this more on
- 25:53Speaker 3: camera because friendship was very, very confusing for me. And
- 25:57Speaker 3: what you know, the reason why I was kind of like,
- 25:59Speaker 3: you know, team Jen a lot Indian was because she
- 26:02Speaker 3: said it and once you know, everybody made it clear
- 26:04Speaker 3: that this guy was you guys didn't think that he
- 26:06Speaker 3: was a great guy for her. I felt like I
- 26:09Speaker 3: never saw scenes where Jen was asking for you guys
- 26:12Speaker 3: opinions in the first place, like like she was like
- 26:15Speaker 3: sitting you guys, you guys, what should I do? Like
- 26:19Speaker 3: I never saw saying what she seemed like she actually wanted.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Wanted any feedback.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Yeah, but other, don't you feel like other than her
- 26:27Speaker 1: scenes with Ryan, she really didn't get into the mix
- 26:30Speaker 1: much at all. Well, I think didn't have a lot
- 26:34Speaker 1: to say to any of the girls.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Well, I think then.
- 26:38Speaker 3: She talked about it with Gina a little bit and
- 26:39Speaker 3: they talked about something else.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I can't Oh, well that where Gina was really upsetting
- 26:43Speaker 2: because she cheated and all those things. I think we
- 26:46Speaker 2: have to understand who Jen is outside of a relationship
- 26:51Speaker 2: with Ryan, because that's all we have seen so only
- 26:55Speaker 2: seeing a like frant like, if you only see me
- 26:59Speaker 2: and Edwin to you're gonna see Yeah, you're gonna see
- 27:01Speaker 2: fifty percent of who I am. But if you see
- 27:04Speaker 2: me outside of my relationship with that, I'm not gonna
- 27:06Speaker 2: say I'm a different person, but you're gonna see a
- 27:08Speaker 2: whole nother layer.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:10Speaker 2: And if you only see somebody through somebody else's eyes
- 27:14Speaker 2: and what you want, you know, people to see, it's
- 27:17Speaker 2: it's not authentic. And that's what I think we're missing.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I want her to.
- 27:22Speaker 3: That's you know, that's such a good point because when
- 27:24Speaker 3: I came on with Peter, my husband who I married
- 27:28Speaker 3: my first season on the show, Peter has a very
- 27:30Speaker 3: big TV personality. I got drowned by him. Like, you know,
- 27:34Speaker 3: it's like I was like, oh, you know, Cynthia doesn't
- 27:36Speaker 3: have a boy, she doesn't have this whatever whatever, because
- 27:39Speaker 3: he was just such a strong personality, was always like
- 27:42Speaker 3: barking all the time and like you know, making you know,
- 27:45Speaker 3: his two cents known. And that was at a time
- 27:46Speaker 3: where the men really weren't even doing that on the show.
- 27:49Speaker 3: So he like definitely came in hot, but that's just
- 27:52Speaker 3: who he is, and it just made me On one hand,
- 27:55Speaker 3: I guess people were like, oh my god, it's so
- 27:56Speaker 3: you know, they would think, well, he's helping her be
- 28:00Speaker 3: you know, imported on the show. But at the same time,
- 28:02Speaker 3: it was hurting me at the same time because I
- 28:04Speaker 3: didn't have a voice, I was weak because you know,
- 28:06Speaker 3: it felt like he was kind of running a lot
- 28:08Speaker 3: of things. So you know, it could go either way
- 28:12Speaker 3: with that whole thing, and I feel like the Brian
- 28:14Speaker 3: they can definitely outshadow who, you know.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Who whatever it is. We're watching at this point, and
- 28:19Speaker 2: I think if she can come in and and possibly
- 28:22Speaker 2: build a real relationship with somebody on the show, I
- 28:26Speaker 2: think there is a future for her. But I think
- 28:28Speaker 2: right now she's just dabbing her feet wherever, like you know,
- 28:31Speaker 2: wherever she can.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Like I think, unfortunately what's going on in social media
- 28:37Speaker 1: and things I've heard, I think that she's gonna want
- 28:39Speaker 1: to come back this season continuing this. You know this,
- 28:44Speaker 1: all this stuff about Ryan, and I'm telling you right now,
- 28:47Speaker 1: I'm not going there. I said what I had to say.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I'm done with it.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Move on.
- 28:51Speaker 3: We don't even want to see too much more.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I know nobody, but I feel like that's that's gonna happen.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you just say I don't care. You
- 28:59Speaker 2: guys are have you're happy. I want to hear another
- 29:01Speaker 2: word about it, and then if you need me when
- 29:03Speaker 2: he cheats again, I'm.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Here, Like you guys seriously have to close it in
- 29:07Speaker 3: the first episode and be like, okay, sit down, have
- 29:09Speaker 3: that drink, go on the boat. You guys love going
- 29:11Speaker 3: boats and staff have a conversation. It's done, and then
- 29:16Speaker 3: we hear no more about it, and then she has
- 29:18Speaker 3: to show us some other staff like, yeah, but I
- 29:20Speaker 3: would like to see her get a second season because
- 29:22Speaker 3: first seasons hard, like you just don't know what you're doing, honestly,
- 29:25Speaker 3: and then Ryan up so much of her story that
- 29:27Speaker 3: you know, we were just like okay, whatever.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I try, like if you're happy, then you know,
- 29:32Speaker 1: more power to you. And I hope to see I
- 29:34Speaker 1: hope to see another side of you, guys, because.
- 29:36Speaker 2: What I'm not you guys, just her. We don't need
- 29:40Speaker 2: to know so much about him. I don't watch the
- 29:41Speaker 2: housewives to watch the husbands.
- 29:43Speaker 1: He thinks he's a cast member, like a full blown
- 29:46Speaker 1: cast member.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Well, he should have shown up to the reunion, because
- 29:49Speaker 2: if you're a cast member and you don't come to
- 29:51Speaker 2: the reunion, you get fined.
- 29:52Speaker 3: You know.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Could you imagine it?
- 29:53Speaker 3: Literally every episode they literally added Peter to a lineup,
- 29:59Speaker 3: each of them.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Could you imagine me and Eddie after every episode going,
- 30:03Speaker 1: let's recap this episode, what do you think, Gutty? He
- 30:06Speaker 1: would rather poke his eyeballs out Peter.
- 30:10Speaker 3: They had him right there the whole time, and I
- 30:12Speaker 3: was like, he gave him a nickname. Patricia was like
- 30:15Speaker 3: crazy for the next ten years. Oh god, this is crazy.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, well you guys. I had so much
- 30:25Speaker 2: fun with you. Cynthia. We appreciate you stepping in and
- 30:30Speaker 2: doing all that you do. We want you to keep
- 30:32Speaker 2: coming on with us. And Tamra, thank you so much
- 30:35Speaker 2: for entertaining us this season. Oh I'm so glad it over.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Guys.
- 30:39Speaker 2: We needed you do it.
- 30:41Speaker 3: No, you definitely killed it. The season would not have
- 30:43Speaker 3: been the same without you. Even when I was like,
- 30:45Speaker 3: oh man, what is happening like, it was like it
- 30:48Speaker 3: just moved the season and I'm hooked. I'm invested in you, guys,
- 30:52Speaker 3: regardless of whether I recap or not.
- 30:54Speaker 2: She's gonna keep watching, whether she's getting paid.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I gotta see what's gonna I'm ready some peace yye guys,
- 31:04Speaker 1: good luck, good luck with that peace camera. Now I
- 31:07Speaker 1: have to deal with you all right.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Bye guys, Bye,
