- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie and Josh makes one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Katie's been raving about some goofy movie that I guess
- 0:07Speaker 2: Adam Sandler's daughter is.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Uh, it's such a you know she does.
- 0:12Speaker 3: It's called Don't Say good Luck, and it is it
- 0:16Speaker 3: will make you cry.
- 0:17Speaker 4: I don't want to cry.
- 0:18Speaker 3: I ugly cried for a good ten minutes during this
- 0:22Speaker 3: movie watching it. It is so powerful. It's about the
- 0:26Speaker 3: sunny Sandler who is Adam's daughter. She plays pretty much
- 0:30Speaker 3: the main role, but it's about her trying to be
- 0:36Speaker 3: in the school play. So she has the lead in
- 0:38Speaker 3: the school play and it's all about her getting ready
- 0:40Speaker 3: for it. But her mom is sick the entire time.
- 0:42Speaker 3: So that's kind of like one of But it is
- 0:45Speaker 3: like to see his daughter's acting chop. She's only seventeen
- 0:49Speaker 3: years old and.
- 0:50Speaker 4: She well, he's one of the best actors of our time's.
- 0:53Speaker 1: So good and so like, well, no, I love Adam Sandler.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I do. I know you're being serious there, but actually I.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Will say, like an uncut in some of his dramatic work,
- 1:02Speaker 2: he's really good.
- 1:03Speaker 3: He's a good actor, and so yeah, both of his
- 1:07Speaker 3: daughters are in the acting world now. But this is
- 1:09Speaker 3: his younger daughter, Sonny, and she just blew me away.
- 1:13Speaker 3: And I'm seeing people post on it and it's a
- 1:16Speaker 3: good family movie. Like there's no swearing in it. There's
- 1:18Speaker 3: not a lot of like heavy themes except you know,
- 1:21Speaker 3: the mom being.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I don't want to ruin it. I don't want to
- 1:25Speaker 1: tell the whole story.
- 1:26Speaker 4: But doesn't get better.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Need to watch this movie and I you know again,
- 1:30Speaker 3: like there's gonna be some crying.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Because it is very powerful, but it's so worth it.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Like that's one of those movies that like, once you
- 1:37Speaker 3: are done watching it, you sit there and think about
- 1:39Speaker 3: it and I'm probably gonna watch it again just because
- 1:41Speaker 3: it was that good. But it really again, Ugly cried
- 1:46Speaker 3: so much with this movie.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Why so sad would you say, you know what, I'm
- 1:51Speaker 2: gonna plunk down again and watch that.
- 1:53Speaker 4: He's like it made me. Why would you do that
- 1:56Speaker 4: to yourself?
- 1:57Speaker 2: Feel?
- 1:57Speaker 3: And I like you need to as a human and
- 2:00Speaker 3: feel emotions.
- 2:01Speaker 1: But it's important.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Yeah, but I would feel at once and move on.
- 2:04Speaker 1: No, but even this like they don't want to get
- 2:06Speaker 1: depressed moments, but.
- 2:07Speaker 3: It's still it just makes you think. It makes it
- 2:09Speaker 3: like I'm not gonna get that. I'm not telling she does.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I'm not telling you anything.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Does the ghost of her mother come back?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Cheer me?
- 2:18Speaker 3: No?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Stop stop it?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Does the ghost of her mother give her encouragement to
- 2:22Speaker 2: try harder and be all she can be?
- 2:24Speaker 3: If you watch this movie and you come back, does
- 2:27Speaker 3: the mom sound like Adam? I was right, I will
- 2:30Speaker 3: be ready for it. Nobody sounds like Adam Sandler in
- 2:32Speaker 3: this movie. And actually the mom in the movie, Melanie,
- 2:36Speaker 3: what is her last She's.
- 2:38Speaker 1: In so many things. She's in yellow jackets. She plays
- 2:40Speaker 1: Rose in Two.
- 2:41Speaker 3: And a half Men, the mom and you get Roses
- 2:48Speaker 3: in two and a half Men.
- 2:50Speaker 1: But she's in a lot of things. She's like a
- 2:52Speaker 1: character actress.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I'm excited not to watch it and get depressed your face,
- 2:57Speaker 2: But really quick, what's the name of it for everybody
- 2:59Speaker 2: else who's like I want to cry like a baby.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's called Don't Say good Luck? And it is a
- 3:03Speaker 1: good movie.
- 3:04Speaker 4: All thank you for that recommendation. Thank you.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I want to complain about something here, but a little
- 3:11Speaker 2: bit of a setup. About two weeks ago, went down
- 3:16Speaker 2: to the basement where we have our deep freezer, and
- 3:20Speaker 2: I opened the door and it was.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Going zip zip, zip, zip, zip.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And the light was starting to tweak in it, and
- 3:27Speaker 2: the temperature gage was way off and.
- 3:29Speaker 4: It said it was overheating. And I was like, ah, crap, oh.
- 3:34Speaker 2: No, the freezer's dying. And we've had that thing for
- 3:35Speaker 2: about twenty years. So we got our money's work, okay,
- 3:38Speaker 2: sure for that thing. So it was like a total
- 3:40Speaker 2: scramble to get everything out of the deep freeze and
- 3:43Speaker 2: like into I got another fridge down in the basement too,
- 3:46Speaker 2: so I was trying to cram.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Everything in that freezer.
- 3:48Speaker 2: We were trying to cram everything into the upstairs freezer
- 3:50Speaker 2: and it wasn't all fitting. So I pulled out a
- 3:53Speaker 2: cooler and I dumped a bunch of stuff in the
- 3:55Speaker 2: cooler and then I grabbed all the ice packs that
- 3:58Speaker 2: we had and some ice bottles and stuff and put
- 3:59Speaker 2: them in the cooler. And that was about two weeks ago,
- 4:02Speaker 2: and I forgot I had everything in that cooler.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Oh no.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So I went down to the basement yesterday and I
- 4:08Speaker 2: was like, what that smell is? Smells fun that smell
- 4:14Speaker 2: And I cracked op in that green cooler and I
- 4:17Speaker 2: was like it was nasty meat and slime.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Did he throw the whole cooler away. That's what I
- 4:23Speaker 1: would well, no, I would throw the whole thing.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It's there was like a weird water slime water in
- 4:29Speaker 2: the bottom of it and everything.
- 4:31Speaker 4: I grabbed it and.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I like, very carefully brought it up the stairs because
- 4:34Speaker 2: I was like, I don't want to slash this, slash it.
- 4:37Speaker 2: And I got it outside and I dumped everything into
- 4:39Speaker 2: the garbage can and then I let that baby air
- 4:41Speaker 2: out and I hosed it down with pine salt and
- 4:44Speaker 2: bleach and soap, and it smelled okay by the end
- 4:47Speaker 2: of the day. Really, oh my god, it was nasty.
- 4:50Speaker 2: It was so that is something you don't want to forget.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Rank is right. Smell.
- 4:57Speaker 2: The basement's got this funny smell hinge to it right now.
- 5:01Speaker 2: So I'm off for breeze the hell out of that basement.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Stuff like absorbs into the carpet too. It'll take you
- 5:07Speaker 1: a second.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And we just got a new Carbet, I know you did,
- 5:10Speaker 2: like anyway, So that being said, we got the freezer delivered.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It's up and running. Everything is fine and dandy. But
- 5:17Speaker 2: that's been about a day and a half or so
- 5:19Speaker 2: since we got that, and since the freezer has been
- 5:22Speaker 2: put in it's.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Up and running.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I've received approximately forty five emails and texts saying will
- 5:29Speaker 2: you please do an online survey about how great your
- 5:32Speaker 2: your freezer is? And I'm just like I'm at my
- 5:35Speaker 2: limit with online surveys, yeah, saying wand them for everything.
- 5:41Speaker 2: It was like, how is your experience buying the freezer?
- 5:44Speaker 2: How was the delivery, how is the delivery team, how
- 5:49Speaker 2: is the how are things freezing right now? Like the
- 5:54Speaker 2: go on there and be like, my meat's pretty solid
- 5:57Speaker 2: right now. It's any line, My meat's really solid, right.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You should go back and just put that in the notes.
- 6:04Speaker 4: I kid you not.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I brought Nick Knack home a tea the other day
- 6:08Speaker 2: from Starby's in Medicine Law, just because I'm a nice guy,
- 6:12Speaker 2: and within a half an.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Hour, can you give us a survey on how caught
- 6:15Speaker 4: your tea?
- 6:16Speaker 3: Was?
- 6:17Speaker 1: Like serious tea?
- 6:19Speaker 3: How insecure are businesses now that they need to get
- 6:22Speaker 3: like constant affirmation that they're doing the right thing, like
- 6:25Speaker 3: and that that will happen in fast food lines like
- 6:28Speaker 3: all the time, things that you would just go through
- 6:31Speaker 3: normally thinking this is part of your day, and then
- 6:33Speaker 3: they need feedback.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But you're right, like who does those surveys. I don't
- 6:37Speaker 1: do them.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I don't do surveys. I don't think you need to
- 6:40Speaker 2: know more about me than you already have. I'm not
- 6:43Speaker 2: doing it. And I always like the one at Starby's
- 6:46Speaker 2: kind of made me giggle a little bit because I'm
- 6:48Speaker 2: looking at it and I'm like, do you think there's
- 6:49Speaker 2: somebody there at Starbucks Corporate sitting there like hands crossed,
- 6:53Speaker 2: staring at their screen.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Going God. I wish Jeremy would message back and tell
- 6:57Speaker 4: us how the tea was. I don't know if we
- 7:00Speaker 4: move on if we don't know how the tea was.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Halt operations until he shut down that stock Bucks shut
- 7:07Speaker 3: down the drive through.
- 7:08Speaker 4: We don't know how the t was for.
- 7:10Speaker 1: This guy.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Funny story out this morning talking about the only way
- 7:16Speaker 2: to get gen xers back to concerts again. I'm technically
- 7:22Speaker 2: an xer. I was at the very end.
- 7:26Speaker 1: You're the young exer.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Yeah, because you're also kind of a millennial, Like, you're
- 7:31Speaker 3: right thing right there.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I was November of seventy nine, so then it flipped
- 7:36Speaker 2: to millennials in eighty I.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Believe, Yeah, so you're right.
- 7:40Speaker 2: At least I like being able to say I'm a
- 7:43Speaker 2: I'm an x or even though it's like, you know,
- 7:46Speaker 2: barely made it for difference or something like that, because
- 7:50Speaker 2: I don't want to say I'm a millennial.
- 7:52Speaker 1: No, you're definitely not a boomer, definitely.
- 7:57Speaker 2: But yeah, I just squeezed into the exers. But anyways,
- 8:00Speaker 2: so this kind of stings a little bit. But they
- 8:02Speaker 2: say the only way to get excers back to concerts
- 8:04Speaker 2: again bring back physical tickets. Cell Phone tickets equal anxiety
- 8:10Speaker 2: for older generations. Yeah, I think so. I've even felt
- 8:15Speaker 2: like that on occasion, like is my phone not gonna work?
- 8:18Speaker 4: Is it gonna freeze up? Take a screenshot?
- 8:21Speaker 3: And screenshots don't work with the tickets. You have to
- 8:23Speaker 3: write actual you know, QR.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Some of them do, like I got tickets to the
- 8:28Speaker 4: Rodeo up in my own.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Purchase your tickets and they come with complimentary readers and
- 8:36Speaker 2: some ibuprofen.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Oh shut up. More chairs.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Chairs are awesome, jen Xers would love to go to
- 8:43Speaker 2: more concerts if there are.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Just more chairs, because they need to ship down. I
- 8:48Speaker 4: like standing the whole time.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I don't like to tell you.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I just had the opportunity to have pit seats or
- 8:53Speaker 3: actual chairs for a concert. I went to and I
- 8:56Speaker 3: chose the chairs because I'm not trying to stand for
- 8:58Speaker 3: four hours.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Yeah, people need I don't care how old you are,
- 9:02Speaker 2: Cleaner restrooms, extras. Don't want to deal with porta potties. Yeah,
- 9:06Speaker 2: I think that's just a jaw across the board too.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:09Speaker 4: I don't want to be in a honeybody like buckets.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, find the band one thousand dollars for every minute
- 9:15Speaker 2: they are late taking the stage.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, the exers like to go to bed early.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I think everybody would appreciate a concert that starts at five, like,
- 9:25Speaker 3: come on.
- 9:25Speaker 4: So that's what this story says. At the end.
- 9:28Speaker 2: If it's spring or summer, the concert should start at
- 9:30Speaker 2: three pm and be done by six. That way, nobody
- 9:34Speaker 2: has to drive home when it's really dark out.
- 9:36Speaker 4: That's yes. And then the last one, I like to
- 9:39Speaker 4: lock up all.
- 9:40Speaker 2: The cell phones so none are allowed. Just go there,
- 9:42Speaker 2: enjoy the band. You don't need twenty thousand amateur photographers
- 9:46Speaker 2: trying to post a clip online.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Well, and also, I don't know if this is mentioned
- 9:50Speaker 3: in that story, but the actual physical ticket just as
- 9:54Speaker 3: a memento. I have held on to so many tickets
- 9:59Speaker 3: that I w to concerts, and like, I have a box,
- 10:02Speaker 3: and you know, I have the very move but I
- 10:05Speaker 3: go through.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I have one of our very first date tickets, me
- 10:08Speaker 2: and Nick nack I took her to go see Dracula
- 10:10Speaker 2: at the Bule And this was back in twenty whatever, early.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Two thousand two, got together.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and yeah, it's on our mirror in our bedroom,
- 10:19Speaker 2: onlike the dresser. It's the ticket stub to our first
- 10:23Speaker 2: little like major date.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I'm telling you, the memories tied to a ticket stub
- 10:27Speaker 3: are way more potent than anything you'll see from a
- 10:30Speaker 3: video that's a concert, right
- 10:32Speaker 1: Like so I like the physical tickets
