- 0:01Speaker 1: And the headline Apollo CEO Black says he regrets ties
- 0:05Speaker 1: to Epstein, denies any wrongdoing. This article was authored by
- 0:10Speaker 1: Chabuki Ogu and Lawrence Delvine. So he says he regrets
- 0:17Speaker 1: his ties to Epstein, but he denies any wrongdoing. And again,
- 0:21Speaker 1: I made that pretty clear every time I've ever talked
- 0:23Speaker 1: about this guy and these other bankers. I'm not saying
- 0:26Speaker 1: that these dudes were involved in the actual trafficking part
- 0:30Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise. I'm not saying that they
- 0:34Speaker 1: were part of any abuse unless one of the survivors
- 0:37Speaker 1: comes out and says differently. What I am saying, though,
- 0:40Speaker 1: is that they most certainly enabled Jeffrey Epstein, and it
- 0:44Speaker 1: certainly looks like they were engaged in some sort of
- 0:46Speaker 1: financial douche baggery together as well. Now I don't have
- 0:50Speaker 1: that direct evidence to tie that up in a nice
- 0:53Speaker 1: little bow for everybody, but I can point to the
- 0:56Speaker 1: circumstantial evidence, and you know, when it comes down to it,
- 1:00Speaker 1: Like I said previously, I'm a big believer in Okham's
- 1:04Speaker 1: raisor right. So here we are. Apollo Global Management Incorporated
- 1:14Speaker 1: Chief executive Leon Black told the buyout firms investors on
- 1:18Speaker 1: Monday that he regretted having had ties to the late
- 1:21Speaker 1: financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, but denied any
- 1:26Speaker 1: wrongdoing or inappropriate conduct related to his business and social
- 1:31Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein. So again, that's the excuse they'll all use, Right, Well,
- 1:37Speaker 1: I didn't know what he was up to. I didn't
- 1:39Speaker 1: know this dude was such a pervert. I didn't know
- 1:41Speaker 1: that he was involved in a child sex trafficking ring.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I didn't know that he was trafficking women. And that's
- 1:48Speaker 1: the tired and used excuse that these people have used
- 1:52Speaker 1: ever since Epstein was arrested the first time around. And
- 1:56Speaker 1: guess what. Unfortunately it's been okay, hey, people have accepted it.
- 2:01Speaker 1: The legacy media has accepted it. Nobody has really challenged
- 2:04Speaker 1: these people on this stuff. And whenever something is brought up, well,
- 2:12Speaker 1: they want to run away from it as fast and
- 2:15Speaker 1: as far as they can. Right, no comment, or they'll
- 2:19Speaker 1: give you some sort of canned comment or like in
- 2:22Speaker 1: this instance, they'll play down their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,
- 2:26Speaker 1: even though all of the evidence that we have seen
- 2:30Speaker 1: points to something completely different. I mean, we're not talking
- 2:33Speaker 1: about five dollars here, of folks, all right, we're not
- 2:37Speaker 1: talking about one hundred dollars in a poker game. We're
- 2:39Speaker 1: not talking about anything like that. We're talking about fifty
- 2:43Speaker 1: to seventy five million dollars. That's not the kind of
- 2:46Speaker 1: money you give an acquaintance. That's not the kind of
- 2:49Speaker 1: money you're just throwing around. Just because of all the
- 2:54Speaker 1: financial advisors, all of the charitable douchebags running around and
- 2:59Speaker 1: so called polite society, Jeffrey Epstein was the only one
- 3:05Speaker 1: that Leon Black could come up with. Stop it, Black
- 3:12Speaker 1: wrote to the firm's investors after The New York Times
- 3:15Speaker 1: reported on Monday that he wired between fifty million and
- 3:19Speaker 1: seventy five million to Epstein as far back as two
- 3:22Speaker 1: thousand and eight. And remember it wasn't just in two
- 3:26Speaker 1: thousand and eight, right, The relationship spanned a lot longer
- 3:30Speaker 1: than that, a much longer from the time where Epstein
- 3:35Speaker 1: was convicted to the time that they supposedly stopped being friends.
- 3:40Speaker 1: So you mean, in that whole entire time, Black had
- 3:43Speaker 1: never heard the rumors of what Jeffrey Epstein truly was.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Black had never heard the rumors or had never heard
- 3:51Speaker 1: about the non prosecution agreement, not one word. Huh. You know.
- 3:56Speaker 1: For people that run around and want us to believe
- 3:58Speaker 1: that they're so smart, they're pretty damn stupid, aren't they.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Reuters could not determine how long Black continued to wire money. Epstein,
- 4:10Speaker 1: who was charged by federal prosecutors with sex trafficking last year,
- 4:14Speaker 1: committed suicide in his New York City jail cell in
- 4:17Speaker 1: August twenty nineteen before his trial, allegedly, and as far
- 4:26Speaker 1: as determining how long Black continued to wire money, it's
- 4:30Speaker 1: rather obvious they were homies all the way up till
- 4:33Speaker 1: that second arrest. And of course it's always the same
- 4:38Speaker 1: with these people, right, Oh, he stole from me, or
- 4:40Speaker 1: there was some financial miscalculations on my part, or my
- 4:45Speaker 1: decision making was bad. Never, never any kind of real
- 4:51Speaker 1: self reflection, right, Never really saying and taking responsibility for
- 4:58Speaker 1: the fact that you weren't a business. Look, if you
- 5:01Speaker 1: were just a business associate with this guy, then that's
- 5:05Speaker 1: one thing, right, But this is a whole different matter.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Business associates aren't the ones getting invited to that island.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Epstein's inner circle and those that he wants to get
- 5:19Speaker 1: caught up in his blackmail game. Those are the people
- 5:22Speaker 1: that are being invited to the island. So my question
- 5:25Speaker 1: for Leon Black is which one are you, sir? While
- 5:31Speaker 1: Black's business ties to Epstein were already known, the Time
- 5:34Speaker 1: story outlined previously unreported payments as well as socializing between
- 5:39Speaker 1: the two financiers, well, the one scumbag financier at the
- 5:43Speaker 1: very least, which would be Black, and then the pedophile financier,
- 5:47Speaker 1: which would be Epstein. You guys, notice a trend yet
- 5:50Speaker 1: with these so called financiers. It's like socialites. No wonder
- 5:54Speaker 1: they go together so well, two scummy ass institution, two
- 6:00Speaker 1: scummy ass parts of society. Financier, I'm a financier, Biff,
- 6:10Speaker 1: go get the car. We're going to the golf tournament.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Give me a break with these people. I mean, I'm
- 6:17Speaker 1: just sickened by them. The whole off financier and socialite
- 6:21Speaker 1: and all of it needs to be crushed under heel.
- 6:25Speaker 1: These people truly believe that they are better than the
- 6:29Speaker 1: rest of us. I was completely unaware of and continue
- 6:34Speaker 1: to be appalled by, the reprehensible conduct that surfaced at
- 6:38Speaker 1: the end of twenty eighteen and led to the federal
- 6:41Speaker 1: criminal charges brought against mister Epstein, Black wrote to Apollo
- 6:46Speaker 1: Fund investors in a letter seen by Reuters. Now, remember,
- 6:49Speaker 1: we're going to read that letter as well in its
- 6:51Speaker 1: entirety as soon as we're done with this article. But
- 6:55Speaker 1: it's bull Look, it's absolute bullshit. I was completely unaware
- 7:00Speaker 1: of and continue to be appalled by the reprehensible conduct
- 7:03Speaker 1: that surfaced at the end of twenty eighteen, as if
- 7:06Speaker 1: it just surfaced in twenty and eighteen. I mean, a
- 7:12Speaker 1: monkey with learning disabilities could Google and figure out that
- 7:18Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was a scumbag. You mean to tell me,
- 7:21Speaker 1: mister a hot shot Leon Black, mister Apollo ef in
- 7:25Speaker 1: Global himself has no idea what Jeffrey Epstein is. And
- 7:31Speaker 1: if that's the case, and you're an investor out there,
- 7:33Speaker 1: why would you put one single dollar into anything that
- 7:38Speaker 1: this guy's involved with. If he's too stupid to use
- 7:42Speaker 1: a search engine, why would I let him safeguard my money?
- 7:47Speaker 1: An Apollo spokeswoman said that Black acted in a personal
- 7:51Speaker 1: capacity and that the private equity firm had not done
- 7:54Speaker 1: any business with Epstein. Apollo shares dropped five point seven
- 7:58Speaker 1: percent on Monday to close that forty three dollars and
- 8:02Speaker 1: ninety cents. I love it. Smack them right in the
- 8:06Speaker 1: old pocketbook. Oh you want it to hurt. It's like
- 8:09Speaker 1: kicking this guy in the fruits. When you blast him
- 8:12Speaker 1: in the pocketbook, folks, take a couple of bucks out
- 8:15Speaker 1: of this guy's pocket. Forget it. Forget it. That and
- 8:19Speaker 1: shame are the two things that move the needle with
- 8:23Speaker 1: these people. That is it. That is all. And when
- 8:26Speaker 1: I say shame, it's not that they feel shame. I'm
- 8:29Speaker 1: talking about shame in the eye of the commoner, right
- 8:33Speaker 1: the pleab you and I, Because what that does is
- 8:37Speaker 1: they're no longer invited into their so called polite society anymore,
- 8:41Speaker 1: and they become persona non grata like we're seeing now.
- 8:45Speaker 1: In the wake of Epstein's death and Maxwell's arrest, it
- 8:50Speaker 1: went from everybody wanting to take a picture with those two,
- 8:53Speaker 1: everybody wanting to hang out with those two, to everybody
- 8:57Speaker 1: not knowing who they were. It sure is one large
- 9:01Speaker 1: ass case of amnesia. Black said in a letter that
- 9:08Speaker 1: Epstein provided professional services to his family partnership and related
- 9:12Speaker 1: family entities involving estate planning, tax and philanthropic advice. So
- 9:19Speaker 1: again I ask you Leon Black, one of the richest,
- 9:24Speaker 1: most powerful men in the world, needs nobody like Jeffrey
- 9:28Speaker 1: Epstein for services like family partnership and family entities, real
- 9:35Speaker 1: estate planning, estate planning, tax and philanthropic advice. You mean
- 9:43Speaker 1: to tell me that Leon Black didn't have an accountant
- 9:48Speaker 1: on the team. He didn't have a personal accountant. Jeffrey
- 9:51Speaker 1: Epstein was the guy. Huh, that's who you turned to,
- 9:55Speaker 1: mister pedophile, abuser himself. He was at GOODWD numbers. Huh,
- 10:03Speaker 1: What was the real reason you were spending so much
- 10:05Speaker 1: time with him, mister Black? What was the real reason
- 10:10Speaker 1: there was so much money moving around mister Black. Black
- 10:17Speaker 1: also said he met Epstein from time to time at
- 10:20Speaker 1: his New York City townhouse and also donated money to
- 10:23Speaker 1: charitable organizations he did not identify that were affiliated with
- 10:28Speaker 1: the late financier. Can we quit calling him Matt Reuters? Please? Pedophile?
- 10:32Speaker 1: What do you think his estate's going to sue you?
- 10:35Speaker 1: Con and Endyke are going to sue you. They got
- 10:38Speaker 1: their own problems, and furthermore, what would they sue you for?
- 10:42Speaker 1: It's the truth. So let's stop calling them a financier
- 10:47Speaker 1: in these articles, Okay, and let's call him what he is.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Federal prosecutors and lawyers have sued Epstein more than six
- 10:57Speaker 1: Epstein's more than six hundred and thirty million dollars star
- 11:00Speaker 1: to abstain to obtain compensation, compensation for the young women
- 11:04Speaker 1: and girls he allegedly abused and trafficked. And as to
- 11:11Speaker 1: the charities, those are the only only charities in existence
- 11:15Speaker 1: that mister Black can donate to. How about you just
- 11:18Speaker 1: walk around on the streets incognito with stacks of dough
- 11:22Speaker 1: and pass it out to people on the streets. Nah,
- 11:25Speaker 1: you can't do that, right because there's no way for
- 11:27Speaker 1: you to profit that way. There's no way for you
- 11:29Speaker 1: to launder money that way. There's no way for you
- 11:32Speaker 1: to virtue signal to the rest of the world about
- 11:34Speaker 1: how great you are as you as you pass out
- 11:37Speaker 1: peanuts to the rest of us. It's an absolute joke.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I mean, these people are an absolute joke with their
- 11:43Speaker 1: so called charitable giving. Give me a break, all right,
- 11:48Speaker 1: all about your image, all about to make sure that
- 11:50Speaker 1: image is rebuilt. And let's not forget about the tax loopholes.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Let's not forget about the write offs. These people are seriously, seriously,
- 12:03Speaker 1: mentally disturbed. In January, US Virgin Island's Attorney General, Denise George,
- 12:11Speaker 1: sued the estate, seeking claims on behalf of victims he
- 12:14Speaker 1: raped and trafficked on a private Caribbean island. Black said
- 12:18Speaker 1: in the letter he intends to cooperate with the US
- 12:21Speaker 1: Virgin Islands inquiry and any other investigation, so another one.
- 12:27Speaker 1: He says, Oh yeah, I'm willing to talk to whoever.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I'm down with the investigation. All right, I'm gonna cooperate,
- 12:34Speaker 1: just like the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family. And
- 12:37Speaker 1: we see how that's turned out. We see that that
- 12:40Speaker 1: moron hasn't given three seconds of his time to the
- 12:44Speaker 1: FBI for them to question him. And it'll probably be
- 12:48Speaker 1: the same here with Black. He'll probably try and maneuver
- 12:51Speaker 1: his way out of it. He'll probably make it a
- 12:53Speaker 1: situation where you know, oh, I'll give a written statement
- 12:57Speaker 1: and they'll probably be okay with it, because you know,
- 12:59Speaker 1: he's so rich and all that's all that really matters
- 13:02Speaker 1: is how rich he is, how much money he has,
- 13:05Speaker 1: and how he can manipulate the system and maneuver behind
- 13:09Speaker 1: the scenes using loopholes. How many times do we talk
- 13:12Speaker 1: about that huh. All the loopholes, all of the technicalities,
- 13:17Speaker 1: that is how these people are able to operate. There
- 13:20Speaker 1: is only one way to get rid of it. There
- 13:22Speaker 1: is only one way to fix it, and that is
- 13:25Speaker 1: to vote out every single one of these incumbents who
- 13:28Speaker 1: has been party to it. And then the people that
- 13:32Speaker 1: we do send to Washington, DC, we have to hold
- 13:35Speaker 1: them accountable and make sure that they get rid of
- 13:39Speaker 1: these technicalities, that they get rid of these loopholes, and
- 13:43Speaker 1: that we somehow some way crushed the two tier justice system.
- 13:51Speaker 1: All right, So here's the letter that Leon Black wrote
- 13:55Speaker 1: to the investors October twelfth, twenty twenty. Dear limited partner.
- 14:03Speaker 1: In July twenty nineteen, I wrote to you. I wrote
- 14:08Speaker 1: to you to address my relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, given
- 14:11Speaker 1: the intense media coverage at the time. As I stated, then,
- 14:15Speaker 1: there is nothing more important to Apollo and to me
- 14:18Speaker 1: personally than our relationship with our investors and limited partners
- 14:23Speaker 1: in the funds we manage. Earlier today, the New York
- 14:26Speaker 1: Times published a story describing my relationship with mister Epstein.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I am writing again to make sure that you have
- 14:33Speaker 1: all of the relevant information. So it's that important right,
- 14:39Speaker 1: and that much of it hits home that he thought
- 14:42Speaker 1: that it was time for him to go ahead and
- 14:46Speaker 1: jump in and write this letter because he was trying
- 14:49Speaker 1: to cut this off at the past right. He doesn't
- 14:52Speaker 1: want this to blow up any more than it has.
- 14:55Speaker 1: He doesn't want this to become more of a serious
- 14:57Speaker 1: situation than it already has and continue to grow and metastasize.
- 15:04Speaker 1: He wants to make sure that he gets out in
- 15:07Speaker 1: front of this. He wants to make sure that he's
- 15:10Speaker 1: controlling the narrative. First. I want to reemphasize certain important
- 15:16Speaker 1: facts from my prior letter. Apollo never did any business
- 15:20Speaker 1: with mister Epstein at any point in time. Neither mister
- 15:23Speaker 1: Epstein nor any company controlled by him ever invested in
- 15:27Speaker 1: any funds managed by Apollo. So what he's trying to
- 15:30Speaker 1: do here is distant Apollo from this situation and take
- 15:35Speaker 1: full responsibility personally, but not put the responsibility at Apollo's feet.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Shrewd attempt but very transparent. For a period of six years,
- 15:50Speaker 1: mister Epstein provided professional services to my family partnership and
- 15:55Speaker 1: related family entities involving estate planning, tax and philanthrop advice.
- 16:01Speaker 1: No other Apollo employees ever engaged mister Epstein or used
- 16:05Speaker 1: his professional services on a few occasions. I donated money
- 16:09Speaker 1: to certain charitable organizations with which mister Epstein was affiliated,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and he made contributions to certain charitable organizations that are
- 16:18Speaker 1: meaningful to me. Lastly, and most importantly, I was completely
- 16:23Speaker 1: unaware and continue to be appalled by the reprehensible conduct
- 16:28Speaker 1: that surfaced at the end of twenty eighteen and led
- 16:32Speaker 1: to federal criminal charges brought against mister Epstein, such bs
- 16:37Speaker 1: you didn't know, huh, you had no idea, Yeah, no idea.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And what you guys were just trading charitable donations to
- 16:44Speaker 1: each other's charities. You have more money than God, the
- 16:47Speaker 1: both of you. Why don't you just donate to those
- 16:49Speaker 1: charities yourself? Why do you got to drag Jeffrey Epstein
- 16:53Speaker 1: into it? Why does Jeffrey Epstein have to drag you
- 16:55Speaker 1: into it? What else is that play here? What are
- 16:59Speaker 1: the underlying saying currents? My friends? None of the reporting
- 17:06Speaker 1: in the recent New York Times article is inconsistent in
- 17:09Speaker 1: any way with the information I shared with you over
- 17:12Speaker 1: a year ago. As I previously stated, mister Epstein provided
- 17:16Speaker 1: professional services to entities affiliated with my family regarding real
- 17:21Speaker 1: estate planning, tax and philanthropic endeavors. I have never tried
- 17:28Speaker 1: to conceal these facts. It is true that I paid
- 17:30Speaker 1: mister Epstein millions of dollars annually for his work, which
- 17:34Speaker 1: he provided from twenty twelve to twenty and seventeen. Yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: that's nice. After he was a convicted sex offender, So
- 17:41Speaker 1: you gave him millions of dollars so he could facilitate
- 17:44Speaker 1: his crimes against these other girls. If I was one
- 17:47Speaker 1: of these girls who was assaulted after twenty twelve when
- 17:51Speaker 1: you were financing this asshole, I'd sue you to you scumbag.
- 17:57Speaker 1: It is also worth noting that all of mister Epstein's
- 18:00Speaker 1: advice was vetted by leading auditors, law firms, and other
- 18:04Speaker 1: professional advisors. So why bring him on board in the
- 18:07Speaker 1: first place. If you were just gonna vet his shit
- 18:10Speaker 1: and pay him millions of dollars, why bring him on
- 18:12Speaker 1: board in the first place? What were you really doing,
- 18:16Speaker 1: mister Black. Importantly, there has never been allegations by anyone,
- 18:25Speaker 1: including The New York Times, that I engaged in any
- 18:28Speaker 1: wrongdoing or inappropriate conduct. The New York Times story reports
- 18:32Speaker 1: instances in which I spent time with mister Epstein. For example,
- 18:36Speaker 1: I traveled with mister Epstein to Boston to meet with
- 18:39Speaker 1: several prominent Harvard professors as part of my family's philanthropic efforts.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Two of my children traveled with me and joined the meetings. Again,
- 18:48Speaker 1: the children, every single one of these guys that gets
- 18:51Speaker 1: caught with their hands in the cookie jar while my
- 18:53Speaker 1: kids were with me, or I was with the esteemed
- 18:56Speaker 1: members of the Harvard Professor League. Yeah right, members, there
- 19:00Speaker 1: are all a bunch of pervert devians too. How about that,
- 19:05Speaker 1: all of the ones that were hanging out with Jeffrey
- 19:07Speaker 1: Epstein anyway. I mean, the absolute and utter denials of
- 19:15Speaker 1: these people of reality is just mind numbing to me.
- 19:24Speaker 1: On a separate occasion, my family and I made a
- 19:26Speaker 1: short visit to mister Epstein's private island and had a
- 19:29Speaker 1: picnic lunch with him while on a family holiday nearby.
- 19:33Speaker 1: As the story notes, both instances were isolated and time
- 19:38Speaker 1: to time. I also met mister Epstein at his townhouse
- 19:42Speaker 1: in New York City because that is where he conducted business.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Mister Epstein did not have a separate professional office. Oh,
- 19:49Speaker 1: he had a whole building full of them. Though, you
- 19:51Speaker 1: guys couldn't have had lunch at your office. You guys
- 19:54Speaker 1: couldn't have had lunch at a restaurant. You had to
- 19:56Speaker 1: go to the townhouse. Huh did you get a massage? Ever?
- 19:59Speaker 1: Missed Black? Finally, the story reports that the US Virgin
- 20:06Speaker 1: Islands Attorney General is seeking information from me and many others,
- 20:11Speaker 1: including numerous large financial institutions such as JP Morgan City,
- 20:15Speaker 1: Wells Fargo and BNP Parabis all as third party witnesses,
- 20:20Speaker 1: and a civil investigation of mister Epstein's business. I of
- 20:25Speaker 1: course intend to cooperate fully with this and any other inquiry.
- 20:30Speaker 1: So you see what he does there, right? He tries
- 20:32Speaker 1: to low key ad all of those other financial institutions
- 20:36Speaker 1: to make it look like well, they're under questioning too.
- 20:38Speaker 1: So how bad can it be? Well, mister Black, it
- 20:41Speaker 1: can be bad. It's real bad. Okay. We've seen the
- 20:45Speaker 1: fins and files, we've read the Panama papers, and we've
- 20:50Speaker 1: lived with your predatory behavior our whole entire lives. Everything
- 20:55Speaker 1: we do, from applying for a new loan for a
- 20:58Speaker 1: car to getting a credit card or sending our children
- 21:02Speaker 1: to college. You, the banksters are involved, and you, the banksters,
- 21:08Speaker 1: are praying upon the people. Over the past three decades,
- 21:16Speaker 1: everyone at Apollo has worked tirelessly not only to achieve
- 21:20Speaker 1: the best possible returns on behalf of our valued investors,
- 21:24Speaker 1: but also to do so in a manner governed by
- 21:27Speaker 1: certain core principles integrity, decency, and adherence to the highest
- 21:32Speaker 1: moral and ethical principles. I am extremely proud of everything
- 21:36Speaker 1: we have accomplished over fifteen years. Excuse me, everything that
- 21:41Speaker 1: we have accomplished over this time, working closely with you,
- 21:45Speaker 1: with the benefit of hindsight, and knowing everything that has
- 21:49Speaker 1: come to light about mister Epstein's despicable conduct more than
- 21:52Speaker 1: fifteen years ago. I deeply regret having any involvement with him.
- 21:57Speaker 1: These reports, however, will not the say from the extraordinary
- 22:01Speaker 1: the extraordinary work of our exceptional people at Apollo, who
- 22:05Speaker 1: wake up every morning focused on helping you accomplish your
- 22:11Speaker 1: important missions. If you have any further questions, please please
- 22:16Speaker 1: do not hesitate to contact Stephanie Drescher at phone number.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Uh It's in the article, So if you want the
- 22:24Speaker 1: phone number, click on the link in the article and
- 22:27Speaker 1: you can get it there. The email blah blah blah,
- 22:31Speaker 1: all of that is in the letter as well, um, yeah,
