- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost Famous podcast with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's vacination Joan Bassos and Rachel Rikia jumping in to
- 0:09Speaker 2: take over for the almost Famous podcast. We just got
- 0:12Speaker 2: back from the Golden Bauchler finalion after the Final Rose taping,
- 0:15Speaker 2: and we're going to talk all about it. So consider
- 0:18Speaker 2: this your spoiler alert if you haven't watched the finale yet,
- 0:22Speaker 2: because we are about to cover it all. Okay, Rachel,
- 0:26Speaker 2: we have so much to talk about it.
- 0:28Speaker 3: So me and Joan drove together on the way here
- 0:30Speaker 3: and I was like, Okay, let's just like make sure
- 0:32Speaker 3: we're on the same page. Joan has so many good points,
- 0:36Speaker 3: and I was so excited for everyone to hear her
- 0:38Speaker 3: point of view because I think you have such a
- 0:41Speaker 3: unique perspective being the only Golden Bachelorette, and in my opinion, maybe.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Ever well, well we don't know about that. We don't know,
- 0:50Speaker 2: but no, but I feel like we have a lot
- 0:53Speaker 2: of the same opinions. You've been through this journey also,
- 0:57Speaker 2: and I don't think it's all that different coming from
- 0:59Speaker 2: the different age. So what I really want to talk about,
- 1:03Speaker 2: like how this story out as a cliffhanger, so we
- 1:05Speaker 2: have all now waited a week to find out what's
- 1:07Speaker 2: going to happen with Cindy and Cindy. I feel like, Okay,
- 1:11Speaker 2: first of all, let's let's guess, did you who did
- 1:14Speaker 2: you think was going to win?
- 1:16Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:16Speaker 3: I feel like the way they made it seem we
- 1:20Speaker 3: would think that it's Cindy because she is, like you
- 1:23Speaker 3: said so many times on the way here, she's so
- 1:26Speaker 3: emotionally available, and I think we get Sidney's inner monologue
- 1:31Speaker 3: of how she's truly feeling, and I think it could
- 1:33Speaker 3: have been pegged all along, but maybe we just didn't
- 1:36Speaker 3: know because she hasn't been so upfront with her emotions.
- 1:39Speaker 2: But then neither has he, So maybe like like, could
- 1:43Speaker 2: that ever work? If neither one have seen how they feel?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Could that early ever work? So I feel like you
- 1:49Speaker 2: that Cindy was going to be the winner, because you
- 1:52Speaker 2: can't have two emotionally unavailable people actually coming together. It
- 1:56Speaker 2: just seems like so unlikely that it wouldn't work. But
- 1:59Speaker 2: I did feel like he was starting to give her
- 2:02Speaker 2: what she needed. I think the cliffhanger ended with her
- 2:06Speaker 2: saying this begs the question.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Are you ready or are you will?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Do you have the will? Then he said, if there's
- 2:15Speaker 2: a will, a way she guts. The question is do
- 2:16Speaker 2: you have the will? And he said yes. So I thought, okay, okay,
- 2:20Speaker 2: we're ahead in the right direction. Now I'm feeling good
- 2:22Speaker 2: about it. But as the conversation continued, it started going
- 2:27Speaker 2: negatively and I'm not really sure where it went off
- 2:30Speaker 2: so badly because I didn't feel like Mel was being
- 2:34Speaker 2: any different than he had ever been, and maybe he
- 2:36Speaker 2: was getting a slight bit more. Finally he was saying, yeah,
- 2:40Speaker 2: there is a will. If we want to do it,
- 2:41Speaker 2: we can make it happen. I'm not completely there. I'm
- 2:44Speaker 2: not in love, but he said, you know, I think
- 2:47Speaker 2: I felt like he was encouraging, and then all of
- 2:49Speaker 2: a sudden it flipped, and I'm like, what the heck?
- 2:51Speaker 3: I think it's so interesting because I think it is
- 2:54Speaker 3: such a Bachelor Nation thing to give an ultimatum before
- 2:57Speaker 3: a fantasy toe and so many different and even going
- 3:01Speaker 3: into mine on The Bachelor when I was a contestant,
- 3:03Speaker 3: I remember telling him I'm falling in love with you.
- 3:06Speaker 3: If you don't even feel like you're near that, how
- 3:09Speaker 3: are we gonna get through this? So I want to
- 3:12Speaker 3: be like, you know that overnight time. It does tell
- 3:15Speaker 3: you a lot. So much happens, so I get it,
- 3:18Speaker 3: but like getting that little bit that you need to
- 3:21Speaker 3: go into that. I understand her, but I think, like
- 3:25Speaker 3: you said earlier, like he is just not giving enough
- 3:29Speaker 3: or I feel like she's done.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Sing too much from him and it all came down
- 3:33Speaker 2: to this moment and he hasn't given that to her
- 3:36Speaker 2: the entire season. I think she was expecting too much
- 3:40Speaker 2: and I think they could have gone and done fantasy.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, what's your opinion on that?
- 3:44Speaker 3: Do you think she should have definitely gone even just
- 3:47Speaker 3: really I mean the conversation is the biggest part. It
- 3:50Speaker 3: really you find out so much much and I think
- 3:53Speaker 3: we can't even express that to the audience, Like that
- 3:56Speaker 3: is where you.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Kind of start to make a decision so much.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I figured out mine at my fantasy suites and I said,
- 4:03Speaker 2: I'm not having a physical relationship in the fantasy suites.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I think that it's hard on the relationship that comes
- 4:08Speaker 2: out of phantasy suits, I mean out of you know,
- 4:13Speaker 2: no iconic to this day, I just felt like that
- 4:17Speaker 2: would give me a better outcome, and I feel like
- 4:21Speaker 2: she missed that opportunity and that may have gotten mel
- 4:25Speaker 2: to where he is now with Peggy and she or
- 4:28Speaker 2: with Peg, and she never gave him the chance. And
- 4:32Speaker 2: I feel like I got to wonder if she's ever
- 4:34Speaker 2: going to look back on this and say, maybe I
- 4:36Speaker 2: spread that up that you know, that one last day,
- 4:39Speaker 2: that one really meaningful, those meaningful conversations could have gotten
- 4:43Speaker 2: him to where he was with Peg, and she could
- 4:46Speaker 2: be she could have been sitting on that stage at
- 4:47Speaker 2: the end of tonight.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I know. And I just feel like we heard mel
- 4:51Speaker 3: say so many times tonight. He has such a sports mindset.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Every over till it's over, quit the game Twitter, Yeah,
- 5:00Speaker 2: And I think.
- 5:00Speaker 3: In his mind she was quitting. She was a quitter,
- 5:03Speaker 3: and he wanted someone that was going to play until
- 5:05Speaker 3: the game was over. And then as soon as Sidney,
- 5:09Speaker 3: I feel like maybe she wanted him go after her
- 5:11Speaker 3: a little bit as much as she says I don't.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I think she was shocked he did it.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I was surprised he didn't. I was surprised too, sat
- 5:17Speaker 2: there and was like, Okay, I'm done, but you know,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I really want to be the girl too.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Like no, we love Sydney, Like I related to Sidney
- 5:26Speaker 3: more than Peg for sure.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Oh I agree I did, and I love that she
- 5:30Speaker 2: took the power back and didn't give it to him.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I'm not positive she did the right thing.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I would agree, I wish you would have just I
- 5:38Speaker 3: wanted more conversation.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I really want to be like, you go, girl,
- 5:41Speaker 2: you did it. You had the power, you as much
- 5:43Speaker 2: power as he does. But god, I'm not sure if
- 5:46Speaker 2: she did the right thing. And I'm really disappointed to
- 5:47Speaker 2: myself because I want to be all about that bold move.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I know I'm trying.
- 5:52Speaker 1: To be all about the bold no, and I love
- 5:54Speaker 1: the bold move.
- 5:54Speaker 3: But I think with Bachelor, the moments that moved me
- 5:58Speaker 3: the most are the moments were like, you're feeling so
- 6:01Speaker 3: sorry because this person put everything out there and the
- 6:04Speaker 3: Bachelor Bachelor rejected them and they can't do anything about it,
- 6:07Speaker 3: and it just makes you feel for them. And I
- 6:08Speaker 3: wish we had that moment with Sydney where if she
- 6:11Speaker 3: wasn't chosen, that we could feel that and we'd.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Be like cheerly cheering for her to be the next
- 6:16Speaker 2: Golden Bachelerette. Yes, because she loved and lost and she
- 6:20Speaker 2: really yeah, you're right, she stayed the whole course, and
- 6:25Speaker 2: now we're like, oh and There's another part of that
- 6:27Speaker 2: that bothers me a little bit that I feel like
- 6:31Speaker 2: it cheated a Peg out of being picked.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I Peg love that you said that in the car
- 6:39Speaker 1: choice there was no choice.
- 6:42Speaker 2: She was only the only person left I would have loved.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And now I know like that would have been really
- 6:48Speaker 2: heartbreaking for Cindy, right if she had stayed the course
- 6:51Speaker 2: on Fantasy Suites and then he picked Peg instead of her.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But I feel like as far as their relationship, I
- 6:58Speaker 2: feel like it would have been really good for Peg.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I would have made their relationship stronger.
- 7:02Speaker 1: What did you.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Think when they went into the conversation The next morning
- 7:06Speaker 3: he came to her room.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I was sitting there and I'm like, can you spit
- 7:09Speaker 1: it out? It was is on like she thought she
- 7:13Speaker 1: was getting broken.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Up with and she and she was being like really
- 7:16Speaker 2: like she was like, okay, okay, all right, well okay,
- 7:18Speaker 2: I understand I understand. No matter what, this will never
- 7:22Speaker 2: change the way I feel about you. Like what he
- 7:26Speaker 2: know by that? Yeah, why wouldn't have changed the way
- 7:29Speaker 2: he felt about her?
- 7:30Speaker 1: Right?
- 7:31Speaker 2: Was he saying I felt more strongly about you anyway,
- 7:34Speaker 2: so her leaving makes no difference. He never says, right,
- 7:38Speaker 2: he just just he was saying, it doesn't make me
- 7:42Speaker 2: change the way I feel about you, and I'm like,
- 7:44Speaker 2: I don't understand that, and she kept saying, okay, okay, okay.
- 7:48Speaker 2: That was a really uncomfortable conversation.
- 7:50Speaker 3: And I think it's uncomfortable because we're watching two very
- 7:53Speaker 3: unemotional people who are not opening up, and you're watching
- 7:57Speaker 3: them just kind of like kind of have a conversation
- 8:00Speaker 3: about their feeling like she's the last one, she's a winner.
- 8:04Speaker 2: They dance around so much and never say how they
- 8:08Speaker 2: really feel. How are you guys going to get there?
- 8:11Speaker 3: I mean, it might be perfect for each other because
- 8:14Speaker 3: they just don't have a feeling, which I mean, at
- 8:17Speaker 3: some point, I do understand not putting feelings first, putting
- 8:20Speaker 3: logic first, but in this environment, you have to be
- 8:24Speaker 3: a little bit vulnerable.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And they didn't even give us a.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Little somebody wanted to. At least we've gotten zero.
- 8:29Speaker 1: We got it most from Sydney's who. We got it
- 8:31Speaker 1: from this whole episode. We got the most emotion out
- 8:33Speaker 1: of Sydney.
- 8:33Speaker 2: But what I did like, and I felt like I
- 8:35Speaker 2: learned a lot about Mail and it was not from mal.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It was from the Suns and when I think Peg
- 8:40Speaker 2: did that really good? You know, pick one or the other.
- 8:44Speaker 2: They told us a lot about him and just that
- 8:46Speaker 2: really conversation like that we haven't seen. I haven't seen
- 8:50Speaker 2: a great sense of humor. I haven't seen, you know,
- 8:53Speaker 2: the things that the adjectives that they chose, I think
- 8:56Speaker 2: they hadn't actually seen. And I thought that was the
- 8:59Speaker 2: most revealing thing that we got out of this maybe
- 9:01Speaker 2: this whole show about melnd Yeah.
- 9:04Speaker 1: And his friend.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I remember she said that he's the life of the
- 9:07Speaker 3: party and he brings the energy, and I'm like, are
- 9:09Speaker 3: we talking about this mel Ewis. It was so interesting
- 9:14Speaker 3: because those are the people that know him the most,
- 9:17Speaker 3: and I wish he would have let us see that side,
- 9:20Speaker 3: but he just chose to not.
- 9:23Speaker 2: A bit. I wonder if maybe it's the way this
- 9:25Speaker 2: season was produced or edited, because I know these women
- 9:29Speaker 2: are all like pretty incredible, they're beautiful women, they're smart,
- 9:33Speaker 2: they're accomplished, and they have all kind of fallen for him,
- 9:36Speaker 2: and I don't feel like they would have fallen for
- 9:39Speaker 2: this empty person that we are seeing, this person that
- 9:41Speaker 2: hasn't given anything. So I very much wonder if it's
- 9:45Speaker 2: being produced in a way that we are just being
- 9:47Speaker 2: left out of these conversations. We don't see him.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I mean you would like to think so, right, I
- 9:51Speaker 3: mean he is a good looking man, like we can
- 9:54Speaker 3: wrie and I think sometimes they can put a good
- 9:56Speaker 3: looking bachelor in front of us.
- 9:57Speaker 1: He could say nothing will all fall for him. It
- 10:00Speaker 1: happened before.
- 10:02Speaker 3: But I mean their emotion that they haven't as you
- 10:05Speaker 3: would think, there is something exactly right, like behind.
- 10:07Speaker 2: The scenes, was so emotionally invested, like on day one
- 10:12Speaker 2: in st Cheryl and Debbie and I mean there's so many
- 10:15Speaker 2: of them that were emotionally invested really really early on,
- 10:19Speaker 2: which just so just like jive with my the way
- 10:23Speaker 2: I'm thinking of these women, these being strong and accomplished and
- 10:26Speaker 2: like have lived a lot of life. They're not just
- 10:27Speaker 2: falling for some smock genuinely like an empty guy that
- 10:30Speaker 2: isn't going to provide anything anything to life, because these
- 10:33Speaker 2: all these women have pretty rich lives already, families, they've
- 10:37Speaker 2: worked a lot, They've gone through a lot of years
- 10:40Speaker 2: to make the life that they have and their good lives.
- 10:42Speaker 2: They do not need an empty guy to just be
- 10:45Speaker 2: feeling in the bed next to them.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Truly, and I think we could maybe see that more
- 10:49Speaker 3: with like our side of the bacher, where it's like,
- 10:51Speaker 3: I've never been married, I don't really know what this
- 10:53Speaker 3: is supposed to feel, whereas like on the flip side,
- 10:56Speaker 3: all of those women have been in love most of
- 10:58Speaker 3: them and have experienced the life of their life.
- 11:00Speaker 1: So if this isn't even kind of close, why would
- 11:02Speaker 1: you push that? Would you do such a good point?
- 11:05Speaker 1: This is things like I don't even think about.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I'm just like, what isn't the edit it has I
- 11:09Speaker 2: feel like, maybe, okay, so let's get to let's get
- 11:14Speaker 2: to the proposal.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I quote I put it in quoted.
- 11:18Speaker 2: These are air quotes I'm doing right now. If you
- 11:20Speaker 2: can't see me, that was so sorry.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 3: So we see this beautiful scene and malth he's on
- 11:27Speaker 3: an island in the middle.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Of a beautiful but there was like another They took
- 11:33Speaker 2: him to the deserted island to look like or at
- 11:35Speaker 2: least a deserted beach. He's standing there, yes, like beautiful
- 11:40Speaker 2: blue suit. She comes in that awesome dress. The best
- 11:43Speaker 2: seeing her look in like carry yeah, carc that man
- 11:47Speaker 2: we're giving you, and.
- 11:50Speaker 3: She winds blowing the speeches are happening. Yeah, what's gonna happen?
- 11:57Speaker 1: She's not.
- 11:58Speaker 2: She didn't, did she I love you? In that speech?
- 12:00Speaker 1: No she did.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I didn't think so.
- 12:01Speaker 3: And you know what I was also thinking now that
- 12:03Speaker 3: we're talking about it. You know, when we're talking about
- 12:06Speaker 3: like finalely the day, like you always see the people
- 12:09Speaker 3: getting ready, they're on their balcony, they're dry, they're talking
- 12:12Speaker 3: about how in love they are, their emotions.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I don't even think we got some bee roll of
- 12:18Speaker 1: Pat talking about her emotion. I don't think so at all.
- 12:21Speaker 2: They're holding up the dress that they think they're gonna get.
- 12:23Speaker 1: That this is the most looking at their.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Jewelry they're trying to do it.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Just caught it.
- 12:31Speaker 2: They were on an island, boats island, motor boats island
- 12:35Speaker 2: with windblow.
- 12:36Speaker 3: And and all of a sudden the neolane pops out,
- 12:40Speaker 3: and you have such a good point about the meal lane.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Of what the ring look is being a hard time
- 12:45Speaker 2: to see. So he does his speech after she does
- 12:48Speaker 2: her speech. Her speech was kind of a lot about
- 12:51Speaker 2: like how much fun they had together. Once again, didn't
- 12:54Speaker 2: talk a lot of emotions. He just didn't really either
- 12:57Speaker 2: talked about you know, like him coming along in this
- 13:02Speaker 2: process and getting to where they are. I'm positive I
- 13:05Speaker 2: love you to her? God, how do I not remember this?
- 13:08Speaker 2: Because they did it, they didn't say it right, No,
- 13:10Speaker 2: so neither one of them said I love you.
- 13:11Speaker 1: You know if I'm wrong, we could.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I don't think we're wrong because we would remember.
- 13:15Speaker 1: They revealed the feeling. I think we're getting confused.
- 13:20Speaker 2: So here we are standing on the like engagement the pedestal.
- 13:26Speaker 2: There he pulls out a ring, not opens on one,
- 13:31Speaker 2: but think it's a neelain. We all know what that means. Right,
- 13:34Speaker 2: it's an engagement ring, except for he doesn't say, will
- 13:37Speaker 2: you marry me? He does this roundabout speech about exploring
- 13:44Speaker 2: the future with you. Sounds engagement right. I couldn't see
- 13:50Speaker 2: the ring very good. He puts it on her finger.
- 13:52Speaker 2: It doesn't look like a single diamond, so it looks
- 13:55Speaker 2: maybe not like an engagement ring. He doesn't say will
- 13:57Speaker 2: you marry me? They are like missing limits to this proposal.
- 14:01Speaker 2: But I still walk away thinking maybe there are maybe
- 14:04Speaker 2: he did it, maybe they're engaged. And then they were
- 14:07Speaker 2: engaged and the car he said to me, are they engaged?
- 14:10Speaker 2: And I'm like, no, I don't.
- 14:12Speaker 1: They are I think they didn't get engaged.
- 14:14Speaker 2: They didn't get engaged. I'm positive of it. Now.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Why was there a ring because we had promister ring?
- 14:20Speaker 3: Well, I remember on Matt James' season with Rachel he said, I,
- 14:24Speaker 3: I'm not going to propose. We always feel like we
- 14:26Speaker 3: know they are not proposing. The ring went on the finger,
- 14:29Speaker 3: the champagne was popped.
- 14:31Speaker 2: It sure was. They were like who and then we
- 14:35Speaker 2: did it all of a sudden, live audience, the happy
- 14:38Speaker 2: couple comes out there. They are looking for you, looking.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Done, address, great energy.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Pat I wore a short version of shout out.
- 14:48Speaker 3: To you ran your own and Jesse goes, do you
- 14:51Speaker 3: have plans on getting engaged.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Like everyone in the audience not just watch? It makes sense.
- 14:58Speaker 1: But he didn't get on one knee?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well I found you because be able to get.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Up all of it. It's not very stable. Yeah, you know,
- 15:13Speaker 1: it makes sense.
- 15:14Speaker 2: It all makes sense.
- 15:22Speaker 4: If your idea of getting some action is watching The
- 15:26Speaker 4: Hunting Wives, you need to listen to I Do Part two.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Listen to I Do Part two on the iHeartRadio app,
- 15:33Speaker 4: Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcasts.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Okay, so they're not engaged, but they are together and
- 15:44Speaker 2: they finally said the words we've been waiting to hear.
- 15:47Speaker 2: But before they said it, they said, we know that
- 15:50Speaker 2: neither one of us are emotional people, so it's we're
- 15:53Speaker 2: working on that.
- 15:54Speaker 1: And then he said.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I love this woman and she said I love him,
- 15:58Speaker 2: and that was finally. It was literally in the last
- 16:02Speaker 2: moments of the show, maybe the last thirty cents.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Which is absolutely crazy.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I think we have never in history seen a final
- 16:10Speaker 3: couple sit on that stage and say we're not big
- 16:13Speaker 3: on feels, the use, we're not big on fields, and
- 16:18Speaker 3: we're like, I'm like, am I supposed to feel a
- 16:20Speaker 3: motion towards you as a.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Couple and root for you?
- 16:22Speaker 3: Now when you're up there saying you don't, you barely
- 16:24Speaker 3: have emotions.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It's a very odd thing to happen in a bachelor season. Okay,
- 16:31Speaker 2: they both knew they came on this show. The show
- 16:33Speaker 2: is really about feelings. It's funny that it's only think
- 16:37Speaker 2: it's a out.
- 16:38Speaker 3: No, genuinely, that's fine, comes and it is so much fun,
- 16:41Speaker 3: but it's coming down to who can you spend the
- 16:43Speaker 3: rest of your life with?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Like, feelings are going to be important here, and both
- 16:46Speaker 2: of them say that they're not good about expressing feelings,
- 16:48Speaker 2: which is hilarious that they ended up together at the
- 16:52Speaker 2: end of the Soldier.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I mean, we were talking about this.
- 16:55Speaker 3: It does make sense we see them maybe, you know what, Like,
- 16:58Speaker 3: I don't know if Sidney could have really stayed knowing that,
- 17:02Speaker 3: like there wasn't a proposal, that the love you came
- 17:05Speaker 3: so far down the line.
- 17:06Speaker 1: It really had to have.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Been pegged because she's fine with going at his pace,
- 17:12Speaker 3: and like that she admitted that she wasn't in love
- 17:15Speaker 3: with him when he wasn't in love with her yet.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Maybe that's the thing that made him comfortable, Like the
- 17:22Speaker 2: pressure was off and he was not ready to commit.
- 17:25Speaker 2: And if Cidy had just given him a little grace
- 17:27Speaker 2: and just said, like, I'll go at your pace, I'm
- 17:30Speaker 2: good with that, she could have been the last one standing. Yeah,
- 17:32Speaker 2: I'm still I'm still.
- 17:34Speaker 1: A little I know.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I love that they are together. I love that they're
- 17:37Speaker 2: in love now. They looked extremely happy. I still think
- 17:40Speaker 2: that there was a path that Cidy could have gotten
- 17:42Speaker 2: there too. And I feel like we bachelination mitched, miss jumped.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I agree, and it's just empty.
- 17:50Speaker 3: I've been in so many fars I don't think I've
- 17:52Speaker 3: ever walked away feeling so disconnected from the franchise. In
- 17:56Speaker 3: a way, I'm like God, because it's like the franchise
- 18:00Speaker 3: and it has nothing to do with them.
- 18:01Speaker 1: It's just the amount of like.
- 18:06Speaker 3: No emotion, lack of emotions, especially on the last day,
- 18:13Speaker 3: so I only had one person going into my last day.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I was so emotional and like, I don't think it's
- 18:18Speaker 2: bad to not have two people coming to you know,
- 18:22Speaker 2: the engagement, you know, mound or circle or whatever it
- 18:25Speaker 2: is artificial. I think it's very uncomfortable and we feel
- 18:30Speaker 2: very sorry for that person. So I'm not It doesn't
- 18:32Speaker 2: bother me when when the person chooses to not have
- 18:37Speaker 2: them come there and goes and says, you're not that
- 18:40Speaker 2: person for me, But she's self eliminated, and so I
- 18:43Speaker 2: feel like we missed that conversation. Like I like it
- 18:46Speaker 2: when they don't have two people coming to the proposal.
- 18:50Speaker 3: And you're excited and oh my gosh, they're in love
- 18:53Speaker 3: and it's just her and she does.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And she's going to be so excited.
- 18:57Speaker 2: It was just her. We lost all of that, and
- 19:00Speaker 2: I get that nothing.
- 19:02Speaker 3: They try to like keep us on the hook with
- 19:04Speaker 3: like even when he was going to have her meet
- 19:06Speaker 3: and his family, he was like, well, you know, maybe
- 19:09Speaker 3: there's still it might not be her.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I'm like, well, then who's it going to be? No
- 19:12Speaker 1: One like like it like.
- 19:17Speaker 3: It was a hard watch and I feel like we
- 19:19Speaker 3: want to root for them, like we do root for them,
- 19:22Speaker 3: but sitting here, I'm just like the whole world is
- 19:24Speaker 3: definitely half of them are going to think they're engaged
- 19:26Speaker 3: half or not. We know that he loves food, what
- 19:29Speaker 3: else do we know? Like the season's over, what do
- 19:31Speaker 3: I actually know about him?
- 19:33Speaker 1: And what do I know about the pet?
- 19:35Speaker 2: They have a really busy they did talk about like
- 19:37Speaker 2: their very busy schedule and going forward, I think she's
- 19:40Speaker 2: going to wear them out. Do you think they're going
- 19:43Speaker 2: to last?
- 19:45Speaker 1: You know what.
- 19:47Speaker 3: I do, just because I feel like she's along for
- 19:50Speaker 3: the ride, he's along for the ride.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Feelings will come, if they come.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I think at this point, the way they're talking about
- 19:57Speaker 3: it is we just want to enjoy each other's company
- 20:00Speaker 3: and if it happens, it happens, And sometimes I think.
- 20:02Speaker 1: It does work out for those couples.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds like they have a lot of fun.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Plant Like they talked about the next like like two months,
- 20:10Speaker 2: and there's so much to do it on now, they're
- 20:11Speaker 2: gonna get it and fit it all in. I think
- 20:14Speaker 2: eventually he's going to get tired.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I was gonna say, what do you think.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I feel like you, out of everyone, would have the
- 20:19Speaker 3: best gauge, Like looking back, you guys are still going strong.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, it's hard coming out. And you know
- 20:26Speaker 2: this too, you know, being on the show, you're in
- 20:30Speaker 2: the in the bubble. Then you do happy couples, which
- 20:33Speaker 2: it's less of a bubble. You're not you don't have
- 20:35Speaker 2: cameras around you, but you're living out in the real world.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Today is the day the test starts.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Really, yeah, because they have to be.
- 20:44Speaker 2: They exists in the world where there's a lot of
- 20:47Speaker 2: criticism and a lot of opinions, and they're gonna have
- 20:49Speaker 2: a lot of people coming at them. And I think
- 20:52Speaker 2: the next three months are very telling. Yeah, I think
- 20:55Speaker 2: that's when, or maybe the next six months.
- 20:57Speaker 1: What's your advice to him if he listening. Yeah, because
- 21:01Speaker 1: they didn't ask Joan, which I was also pissed about.
- 21:04Speaker 3: They asked Gary and Jack and I was like, Joan
- 21:07Speaker 3: is sitting right there in the middle, and I think
- 21:08Speaker 3: she has advice.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Too, I asked Jock, I said, do you want to
- 21:11Speaker 2: take that question? Okay, I'm like comic so well, but
- 21:16Speaker 2: I can't ask.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I was like, Jesse, I.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Do I know I do have advice because I feel
- 21:24Speaker 2: like like you finally are out with your friends and
- 21:29Speaker 2: your family and the world, and you're out in public.
- 21:31Speaker 2: And I think some people get they like the fame,
- 21:37Speaker 2: and I think you need to like your relationship way
- 21:39Speaker 2: more than you like the fame because it's over. I
- 21:41Speaker 2: think it destroys people. I think you become as important
- 21:47Speaker 2: as people are saying, like you're starting to believe your
- 21:50Speaker 2: own press. You know, it was never believe your own
- 21:52Speaker 2: press good or bad. Like people are like loving you
- 21:56Speaker 2: as a couple, and like you need all that outside reinforcement.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It feels good. And when you stop getting that, then
- 22:04Speaker 2: it's really on YouTube to be the reinforcement for each other. Yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 2: and you just start that process early. You can't wait
- 22:11Speaker 2: for it to stop from the public, like it's your
- 22:14Speaker 2: responsibility to make sure the relationship is good.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I'm interested to see though, him moving forward, because it
- 22:19Speaker 3: feels like he didn't like do much press.
- 22:22Speaker 1: How involved is he with the public.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I feel like for you and for Gary, it was
- 22:27Speaker 3: so you know, pushed to the whole world was so
- 22:30Speaker 3: excited and everyone was getting ready and his I didn't
- 22:32Speaker 3: even know it was starting.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It felt kind of just like very private.
- 22:35Speaker 2: It was crazy, wasn't it. Yes, Well, I think that
- 22:37Speaker 2: he made that wonder a bad statement. I needed to
- 22:41Speaker 2: get out there and apologize to the women before anybody
- 22:44Speaker 2: was really going to want to listen to his press.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I don't think he had an opportunity to do it
- 22:48Speaker 2: because he had started the journey in such a bad
- 22:50Speaker 2: way and you know, and he overcame that. He really did,
- 22:53Speaker 2: He really did overcome that, and he had us all
- 22:55Speaker 2: believing that that wasn't a criteria, that age thing that
- 22:59Speaker 2: he has said so and like he and it's true, yeah,
- 23:05Speaker 2: both of them are so Like he did a really
- 23:08Speaker 2: good job of coming from a negative position. He made
- 23:11Speaker 2: it back to like ground zero. He just didn't make
- 23:13Speaker 2: it past that.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be interesting.
- 23:16Speaker 3: It's gonna be so interesting because I mean obviously seasons
- 23:20Speaker 3: EBB and flow, but like the excitement of yours and Gary's,
- 23:23Speaker 3: it just it feels so different this time, which is like,
- 23:26Speaker 3: you know, it'll be so interesting to see if we'll
- 23:28Speaker 3: get a bachelorette and who it would be.
- 23:30Speaker 2: If we do. So, if you if you looked at
- 23:33Speaker 2: the audience, really well, so many of the women from
- 23:36Speaker 2: his season were.
- 23:37Speaker 1: There, weren't almost all? It felt like almost all. Yeah, so.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Like let's take well, we're not gonna take another quation,
- 23:45Speaker 2: so the logical person to choose probably be sitting. That's
- 23:48Speaker 2: kind of like pretty standard bachelor. Yeah, but he had
- 23:52Speaker 2: some pretty incredible women on his season. Do you have
- 23:56Speaker 2: somebody that you would choose? First of all, would you
- 23:58Speaker 2: choose Sidney? And if you didn't choose Cidy, who would
- 24:01Speaker 2: you choose from that?
- 24:03Speaker 3: It's so difficult, Like obviously it's like you would feel
- 24:06Speaker 3: like Sidney. But then we also talked about like maybe
- 24:08Speaker 3: if she would have pushed us a little bit further,
- 24:10Speaker 3: that I could.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Do it for her a little bit more.
- 24:12Speaker 3: And Joan and I were talking about this on the way,
- 24:14Speaker 3: Like even in Gary season there obviously there was a
- 24:17Speaker 3: final three and amazing choices, but I remember Jones like
- 24:22Speaker 3: leaving and it really stuck out to me. So I
- 24:24Speaker 3: feel like there are so many, like you said, deserving women.
- 24:27Speaker 2: But Debbie, so I love the idea sweet, and I
- 24:34Speaker 2: love the idea of something different. So like we have Taylor,
- 24:39Speaker 2: Frankie Paul, she is a shake up right now. I
- 24:42Speaker 2: think it's gonna be an insanely popular season. I think
- 24:45Speaker 2: that we like that we've never had one that has
- 24:48Speaker 2: three kids, two baby daddies, had a sex scandal, and
- 24:53Speaker 2: is a convicted criminal. I mean, let's just put it
- 24:59Speaker 2: all out there. We all know it's not I think,
- 25:02Speaker 2: though I'm kind of intrigued by her.
- 25:04Speaker 1: No I have to watch. I like, I think the
- 25:06Speaker 1: whole world.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Different, Like we've been seeing maybe the same old thing
- 25:10Speaker 2: a lot of a lot of years. So it makes
- 25:13Speaker 2: me think that maybe Debbie is a really good choice
- 25:15Speaker 2: because we have not seen an older person that has
- 25:19Speaker 2: never been married before. In fact, we have very few
- 25:21Speaker 2: contestants that I've been married before, only one on the
- 25:24Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor season, really only one on my season, and
- 25:28Speaker 2: she was the only one on that season. So we
- 25:30Speaker 2: had three that have come on the show at all
- 25:32Speaker 2: that have not been have never been married.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I love that. It's such a good I love so badly.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I feel like she's never well she's found love before,
- 25:40Speaker 2: she's actually had serious relationships, but she's never been married,
- 25:43Speaker 2: She's never had like her person, the person you plan
- 25:46Speaker 2: your future with and you're going to grow old with.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And I feel like I'd really be rooting for her,
- 25:50Speaker 2: almost more than I root for Cindy.
- 25:52Speaker 3: No, I agree, because it would be the first time
- 25:54Speaker 3: the audience, of course golden they always say like second chance,
- 25:57Speaker 3: I love, but it's.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Her first, just in her golden years. Yeah, that's such
- 26:01Speaker 1: a good point.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Wait, we shaid start campaigning for this, because that's such
- 26:04Speaker 3: a good idea.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I'm totally upset it, like a five times on podcast.
- 26:07Speaker 3: I really love actual love of her life, the actual
- 26:10Speaker 3: her golden years would be beautiful and.
- 26:12Speaker 2: She would be so per Can you imagine her wedding,
- 26:16Speaker 2: Like you have to televise it?
- 26:17Speaker 1: No, you would have to me and Joan will be
- 26:20Speaker 1: in the front row, and I will.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I voted for you early, yes, And she looked beautiful.
- 26:27Speaker 2: She was there tonight.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't even see her. I think I'm in
- 26:30Speaker 1: the audience.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Beautiful, And I think that she would be really good.
- 26:34Speaker 2: And I loved her heart and she buried her soul
- 26:36Speaker 2: and I don't think she would have given up if
- 26:38Speaker 2: she had made it to the final two. I don't
- 26:40Speaker 2: think she would have You're not giving me what I need,
- 26:44Speaker 2: and I think she would have been there till the
- 26:45Speaker 2: end for him.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Yeah, oh wait, what a crazy ending.
- 26:52Speaker 2: It was an ending. I don't know how I feel that.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I usually have a data process and I could kind
- 26:58Speaker 2: of get my brain to like how I feel about it.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I'm just like, I'm just like spitting it all out
- 27:03Speaker 2: right now, as as you are, like, did I like
- 27:07Speaker 2: that ending? Director? Did I not like that ending?
- 27:09Speaker 1: What do you think? I think?
- 27:12Speaker 3: I almost well, I've never been to and after the
- 27:15Speaker 3: final rows that was like pre taped, so the world
- 27:17Speaker 3: doesn't know right now, which is so interesting because we
- 27:19Speaker 3: get to have these thoughts without Sometimes I think one
- 27:22Speaker 3: way and then I'll look online and I'm like, oh
- 27:23Speaker 3: maybe I was wrong.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you'll hear other people's.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I've never walked away and just didn't feel warm and fuzzy.
- 27:30Speaker 3: AFR is such a good feeling.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I don't. I feel like Sidney ripped of of that
- 27:37Speaker 2: their ending, Like it was like an abrupt ending that
- 27:39Speaker 2: I wasn't ready for. I feel like they didn't say
- 27:43Speaker 2: they loved each other when they were standing there on
- 27:46Speaker 2: the beach. They got a weirdering thing happening that it
- 27:51Speaker 2: was a proposal. Maybe it was it they come out
- 27:54Speaker 2: and sit next to each other finally say I love you.
- 27:57Speaker 1: But the love you wasn't like I'm so in love
- 28:01Speaker 1: shine with you.
- 28:02Speaker 2: And the more I we've done our happy couple of
- 28:05Speaker 2: visits and I've fallen so deeply in love with you,
- 28:07Speaker 2: it's like he's like, yeah, I do love this woman now,
- 28:09Speaker 2: and she's like, yeah, you love this guy.
- 28:11Speaker 4: You know, You're so right.
- 28:12Speaker 3: And then they're like, we don't do feels, and everyone's
- 28:14Speaker 3: like religion feels.
- 28:15Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, like love is in the air, no truly,
- 28:21Speaker 5: and you know what, maybe that's just how they are
- 28:23Speaker 5: and and they're the type of people that are going
- 28:25Speaker 5: to share that all in private, which I totally love.
- 28:29Speaker 1: But it's just like, it's not what you do. We've
- 28:32Speaker 1: bared worse than are so we've liked, oh.
- 28:34Speaker 3: My gosh so much because it's just you know, in
- 28:37Speaker 3: the name of love, and it's it's.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Part of the show. And the audience fallows along.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I know, and you know what, Bache Nation gets invested
- 28:44Speaker 2: in you because you are being real and you're like
- 28:48Speaker 2: and they can relate to your feelings all loved and
- 28:51Speaker 2: lost or we've all you know, had bad relationships and
- 28:54Speaker 2: so like talking about those and people relating to you.
- 28:57Speaker 2: They gave us something to relate to.
- 28:58Speaker 3: And it's so true, I know, and we're so happy
- 29:02Speaker 3: for that, we really are.
- 29:03Speaker 1: But it's is just like our raw feelings, which I
- 29:05Speaker 1: know you got to people with. But yeah, we are comfortable. Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 1: we love them, We do love that. We are so
- 29:13Speaker 1: happy for them. But I love that Fuzzy is not there.
- 29:17Speaker 2: We're missing that. There was a little part of me, actually,
- 29:21Speaker 2: there was a big part of me that hoped this
- 29:23Speaker 2: that he would propose right there.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Has that happened before?
- 29:28Speaker 3: Yes?
- 29:28Speaker 1: Who was it? Was it?
- 29:30Speaker 2: Somebody did? Jason and Mollie, I can't remember, somebody and Monne.
- 29:37Speaker 6: But then you're so happy, you're like the You're like okay, wait, okay, okay,
- 29:40Speaker 6: We're like okay wait.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Maybe he's just like he didn't know and now it's
- 29:44Speaker 3: it's they're so married.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and they like they finally said there love. And
- 29:48Speaker 2: I thought he was going to like get down on
- 29:51Speaker 2: one knee and pull out a ring. Another neeling Neeeling
- 29:53Speaker 2: was sitting next to him, and there we should ask
- 29:56Speaker 2: him we could ask him.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I bet you know. When we're like, was that a proposal?
- 30:00Speaker 1: Is that a ring, he'd be like.
- 30:01Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know. I was hoping that
- 30:04Speaker 2: he would do it. I had this big thought in
- 30:06Speaker 2: my mind, and then when they started doing the bloopers,
- 30:09Speaker 2: I'm like, well, it's not happening.
- 30:10Speaker 3: As soon as the bloopers ran, we saw a clip
- 30:13Speaker 3: of Taylor yeah, and that was it. Yeah, and then
- 30:16Speaker 3: it was over and it just then we went home
- 30:19Speaker 3: and here we are.
- 30:20Speaker 2: You know who made me feel the most woman buzzy
- 30:21Speaker 2: was Taylor m I liked her. Yeah, she like I
- 30:25Speaker 2: have all these and I've watched super Lives of Mormon Wives.
- 30:30Speaker 2: I think it's a great.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I know I can't wait for the next season.
- 30:34Speaker 2: And I hear the next season is juicy. Yes. I
- 30:38Speaker 2: talked to some of the girls at you you were
- 30:40Speaker 2: there with the.
- 30:42Speaker 4: O.
- 30:43Speaker 2: They would give me a little, a little scoop. I
- 30:45Speaker 2: feel like Taylor franky Paul is emotional and like she's raw,
- 30:50Speaker 2: and I think she's like that on Super Lines and
- 30:53Speaker 2: Mormon Wives. She's like she's always super honest. I think
- 30:56Speaker 2: I out of all the things tonight she was she
- 31:00Speaker 2: was the most emotional other than.
- 31:02Speaker 3: No, just seeing that small clip, you are so right,
- 31:05Speaker 3: She's already saying, I can see my husband.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I feel like I can fall in love.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I've already been through so much as is way harder
- 31:11Speaker 3: like and you could see it, like watching her sit
- 31:13Speaker 3: down there, I'm like, oh my god, I felt like
- 31:15Speaker 3: I was there again, Like.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I was it. I've been.
- 31:20Speaker 7: Relating to it and I sat on that couch too,
- 31:22Speaker 7: of you and I still couldn't connect, I know, and
- 31:27Speaker 7: I've been kind of the city person, like I left
- 31:30Speaker 7: you know, Gary season early and like we had, you know,
- 31:33Speaker 7: we had started to form some bond and I don't know,
- 31:37Speaker 7: I was disappointed to be left.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I was disappointed in their lack of emotions. I don't
- 31:44Speaker 2: feel like this finale wold me at all and usually
- 31:47Speaker 2: finelles deal.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:48Speaker 3: The most interesting part was probably that Gary and Teresa
- 31:51Speaker 3: were in the same audience.
- 31:53Speaker 1: And that was probably the juicy far was that nuts that?
- 31:57Speaker 1: I mean, my guys really were all the yes, so
- 32:01Speaker 1: many exes in the audience. I'm like when they do that,
- 32:03Speaker 1: like did they know? I know, because they know that
- 32:06Speaker 1: the other person is going to be there.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Very interesting audience if you guys can pick them out.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I know the studio. Yeah, it's like I think
- 32:16Speaker 2: the most Bachelor Nations filled.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I'd every love it.
- 32:19Speaker 2: I love it. A union, Yeah, it was like two
- 32:22Speaker 2: whole sections of terination, so much fun. It was really good. Yeah.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I am excited to see if the Golden Series continues
- 32:30Speaker 2: me to feel like every single every single year is
- 32:35Speaker 2: on the chopping block.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I'm worried this.
- 32:37Speaker 3: And especially Bachelorette, because Bachelorette is always on the chopping block.
- 32:41Speaker 1: We know that that's the first one to go.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Everybody knows Bachelorette doesn't get as good ratings Bachelor.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Because the women make us season.
- 32:48Speaker 2: We do. The men of my season make the season the.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Amazing there, but the women, it's just it's so they're
- 32:56Speaker 3: so fun to watch. So yeah, it'll be interesting. I
- 32:58Speaker 3: wouldn't mind you being old so special like she truly
- 33:04Speaker 3: is like the only goal that I would be like, Okay,
- 33:07Speaker 3: we just ever never don't.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I don't know. I think that there are lots of
- 33:12Speaker 2: ones that are deserving. I'm voting for Debbie right now. Okay,
- 33:17Speaker 2: Team Debbie. We love it, and I don't want Sidney
- 33:20Speaker 2: to hate me and think that I wasn't voting for her.
- 33:23Speaker 1: No, of course, so happy.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Yes, I don't like Sydney's our help.
- 33:27Speaker 3: By the way, you're a beautiful, stunning eye. Her dress
- 33:31Speaker 3: was amazing, like the silver giving Goerella.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Which dress did you like the best?
- 33:37Speaker 3: She loved both, and I love that they both went sparkles, yeah,
- 33:40Speaker 3: big time. It was giving revenge dress for Sydney and
- 33:43Speaker 3: Pegs was just so fun and she was dancing before
- 33:46Speaker 3: she came out.
- 33:47Speaker 1: It was sparkling. It was definitely her personality.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it was her versatility right, and was her personality yes, yeah,
- 33:52Speaker 2: she's a little more subdued. Even the sparkle. It was
- 33:54Speaker 2: like a silver gray.
- 33:55Speaker 1: It was beautiful and they everyone liked beautiful.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Maybe we will get a wedding and then we'll see
- 34:01Speaker 3: some more emotions.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Maybe they'll do a big punch when.
- 34:04Speaker 6: They'll do their own bells'd be terrible, can you imagine?
- 34:18Speaker 3: Okay, So I feel like the juiciest part of this
- 34:21Speaker 3: whole episode was the fact that Teresa and Gary were
- 34:26Speaker 3: in the audience together.
- 34:27Speaker 2: What the heck?
- 34:28Speaker 3: I saw Teresa and I thought Gary wasn't here, and
- 34:31Speaker 3: then all of a sudden, I turned around and I
- 34:32Speaker 3: see Gary and his fiance.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Yeah, walking in and they okay, so they were sitting
- 34:38Speaker 2: in sections right next to each other, so you could,
- 34:41Speaker 2: I would say, right next to Gary.
- 34:42Speaker 3: I didn't even know the audience half the time because
- 34:45Speaker 3: she was sitting in the same row. I couldn't see across.
- 34:49Speaker 3: They were like next to each other basically, but just
- 34:53Speaker 3: like like a bleacher apart.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Or literally they could and hit each other.
- 34:57Speaker 1: No, genuinely, I know they were so close.
- 34:59Speaker 3: I didn't couldn't even see them, and where the prompter
- 35:02Speaker 3: was right in the middle.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Well, so I kept looking over to see if there
- 35:06Speaker 2: was going to ever be any eye contact, and I
- 35:08Speaker 2: think only one time did Gary look over there. What
- 35:11Speaker 2: was really like at commercial breaks, we all get up
- 35:14Speaker 2: and walk around and like say, running around. Gary never
- 35:17Speaker 2: moved from his She did it because I don't think
- 35:19Speaker 2: he wanted to have an encounter encounter with her. I
- 35:22Speaker 2: think that it was no care now and she really
- 35:24Speaker 2: didn't move from her seat. She stayed kind of over
- 35:27Speaker 2: with the golden batcher over. I mean we're friends, yeah, never, yeah, never,
- 35:34Speaker 2: those two world's going to meet.
- 35:36Speaker 3: That is absolutely crazy what I've been seeing in the press.
- 35:40Speaker 2: And I bet there's should be a lot of cameras
- 35:43Speaker 2: on both of them throughout this whole taping, because I
- 35:47Speaker 2: really feel like their story is probably the biggest answer.
- 35:51Speaker 3: And it's crazy because like we talked about the warm fuzzies,
- 35:53Speaker 3: and I remember at their wedding, I was crying, he was.
- 35:57Speaker 3: That was so emotional and see, yeah we were there
- 36:01Speaker 3: the wedding to where we are now, It's like, it's
- 36:04Speaker 3: so hard that this happens to couples, but especially them,
- 36:07Speaker 3: because I feel like they've both been through so much
- 36:09Speaker 3: and now to be going back and forth in the press,
- 36:12Speaker 3: it's so stressed.
- 36:13Speaker 1: And they're each other down.
- 36:15Speaker 2: They're making each other look, both look bad, and they're
- 36:17Speaker 2: both really like pretty good people I know.
- 36:19Speaker 1: And they're making you feel bad.
- 36:21Speaker 2: They're just showing each other. It just keeps going back
- 36:23Speaker 2: and forth back every day. Disappointing.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Yeah, like I think one thing was said and then
- 36:29Speaker 3: like I hear something about chopping bodies and hiding bodies.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I'm like, what's happening. I saw Teresa.
- 36:35Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, I think it was all
- 36:38Speaker 2: taken out of conto.
- 36:39Speaker 1: No, of course we know that he's not.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Really bad.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Yes, I agree, and.
- 36:48Speaker 2: It was okay, so but I mean, she used it
- 36:51Speaker 2: against him. I feel like maybe I don't know. I
- 36:53Speaker 2: wasn't there, but I don't I know him. I don't
- 36:56Speaker 2: He's not like this guy would kill somebody and think
- 37:00Speaker 2: it was just really stooge.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I know, And especially now when like these words are
- 37:04Speaker 3: holding a lot of weight because there are so many
- 37:06Speaker 3: eyeballs on it, you know what it is doing.
- 37:09Speaker 1: It's kind of like knowing those book he's making some money.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, it's so pep. We're going to buy
- 37:14Speaker 1: that book. All press is good press.
- 37:16Speaker 3: I have learned that I'm still had.
- 37:20Speaker 2: A right bad press. I think he's gonna excel some books.
- 37:23Speaker 2: So I mean, I think, I I think, I'm I
- 37:27Speaker 2: think everybody left a hole today because they avoided each other.
- 37:32Speaker 2: And I'm not sure why Bachelor invited both both of them.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I know you think they knew.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because I know Leslie and Triesa didn't get
- 37:40Speaker 2: invited until like just a couple of days ago when
- 37:44Speaker 2: things were really hidden.
- 37:45Speaker 1: And no ways, this is so messy.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I feel like Bachelor producers, you know, they always say,
- 37:54Speaker 3: like Chris Jenner works harder than the devil.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I think the Bachelor producers might work harder than Chris Jenner.
- 37:59Speaker 1: They really, because that's crazy.
- 38:01Speaker 3: I thought it was just like a planned thing, like
- 38:03Speaker 3: everyone was because it's golden.
- 38:04Speaker 2: And there was no other person from our season other
- 38:07Speaker 2: than Sondra that was there. And Sondra was there because
- 38:09Speaker 2: her sister was on Mel season. They were the only
- 38:13Speaker 2: two people there, right, not a single other person from
- 38:16Speaker 2: Gary season, Me, Leslie, Leslie, Teresa and Sora because Sonder's
- 38:21Speaker 2: sister was.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is messy.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why. I mean, if anybody, if anybody looks
- 38:26Speaker 2: at this audience, they're going to figure that.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Oh, I feel like that's going to be everything obvious
- 38:30Speaker 3: everyone's talking about.
- 38:32Speaker 2: It's really obvious. Okay, So I feel like we we
- 38:35Speaker 2: kind of skipped over that really uncomfortable conversation of Mel
- 38:39Speaker 2: and Cindy's sitting on the sofa and hers her saying
- 38:42Speaker 2: like what happened and he him saying like I needed
- 38:47Speaker 2: time with you in the fantasy like we missed the time,
- 38:50Speaker 2: and she said, well, you weren't giving me enough to
- 38:53Speaker 2: make me want to go to the fantasy feet with you.
- 38:55Speaker 2: When I feel like you could say like we need
- 38:59Speaker 2: to talk. We don't need to have that physical part
- 39:01Speaker 2: of it. And it's just you guys going into a
- 39:03Speaker 2: room without cameras. Why is that such a big deal?
- 39:06Speaker 2: And then she would say, well, you didn't give me enough,
- 39:08Speaker 2: and he said, well, I couldn't give you enough because
- 39:09Speaker 2: I needed to tell you stuff. I need to talk
- 39:11Speaker 2: to you in fantasy, you talk to you without cameras.
- 39:14Speaker 2: And she said, well, I wasn't going to go in
- 39:15Speaker 2: there without more of a better promise from you or
- 39:18Speaker 2: a better more emotions from you. And it just went
- 39:21Speaker 2: back and forth and back and forth and back and
- 39:22Speaker 2: forth to the point where Jesse finally jumped in. He
- 39:25Speaker 2: had to like referee it.
- 39:28Speaker 1: He was pulling Hi just crazy at a real sitting.
- 39:34Speaker 2: We were like, this is never going to end. Somebody
- 39:36Speaker 2: needs to stop it. So he did.
- 39:38Speaker 3: I got like two bulls, like budding heads, like both
- 39:41Speaker 3: of them. No one was like actually saying how they feel.
- 39:45Speaker 2: And then Jesse said, and it wasn't during this conversation.
- 39:48Speaker 1: It was before Mel came out.
- 39:51Speaker 2: When she was sitting there alone, she said, did you
- 39:53Speaker 2: want Mel to come after you? Because Jesse had come
- 39:58Speaker 2: and spoken about hard you know, do you use the
- 40:02Speaker 2: opportunity to go after it? She hasn't left it, and
- 40:04Speaker 2: he said no, and then he asked her, do you
- 40:09Speaker 2: wish that he had come? And she said no, And
- 40:12Speaker 2: I'm not positive I believe that.
- 40:14Speaker 3: I also just I don't like it when it's like,
- 40:17Speaker 3: if you cared about someone a little bit after that breakup,
- 40:20Speaker 3: I would want to have a talk with them, even
- 40:22Speaker 3: if it was off camera, and be like, listen, can
- 40:25Speaker 3: we have five minutes off camera like before this like
- 40:27Speaker 3: is actually over. And the fact that both of them
- 40:30Speaker 3: just so easily let it go, it was really disappointing.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's disappointing to.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Hear her say because clearly you felt those feelings and
- 40:38Speaker 3: you did want him to come after you, because don't
- 40:40Speaker 3: we all we want the man and the profession of love,
- 40:44Speaker 3: and it's like it's saddy, hell no. Yeah, And it's
- 40:47Speaker 3: hard I think sometimes when months go by and then you're.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Like, oh, never mind, I never really liked them, and
- 40:52Speaker 1: it feels.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Like that's what we're I know. Yeah, And I felt
- 40:56Speaker 2: like like he should have gone after her if he
- 40:58Speaker 2: cared enough, so maybe.
- 41:00Speaker 1: She didn't even.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Conversation, and it, really, I think is just both of
- 41:05Speaker 3: them being stubborn. And I hate to say, yeah, I
- 41:08Speaker 3: do wish that she would have just went to the
- 41:11Speaker 3: Fantasy Suite to talk, because it's not like he was
- 41:15Speaker 3: giving peg promises and she said, well, you can't give them.
- 41:18Speaker 3: If that was happening, I would agree with her one
- 41:20Speaker 3: hundred percent.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Could have totally self eliminated. She could have subliminated after that, Yes.
- 41:26Speaker 1: And even in the morning. In the morning, if I
- 41:29Speaker 1: still feel this way, I'm going to leave.
- 41:30Speaker 3: But I want you to know going in, I need
- 41:32Speaker 3: to have these important conversations with you.
- 41:34Speaker 2: I'm to make my decision. She could have said that
- 41:36Speaker 2: up front, I'm not going to go. This isn't going
- 41:38Speaker 2: to be a physical thing. But that's what was keeping
- 41:40Speaker 2: her back, because the thing that was keeping her back
- 41:42Speaker 2: was the physical part of it, because she wanted to
- 41:44Speaker 2: have those conversations. So why did she just say that's
- 41:47Speaker 2: off the table for us. I do want to spend
- 41:49Speaker 2: time with you, but I don't want to. I don't
- 41:51Speaker 2: think I'm at that place yet with you. I don't
- 41:53Speaker 2: have enough for you to want to do that. Yeah,
- 41:56Speaker 2: why why couldn't have that been like no conversation.
- 41:58Speaker 3: I agree, and like I think the Fantasy Suite they
- 42:01Speaker 3: always do visually make it seem like so yeah sexy
- 42:05Speaker 3: and everybody in the morning, yeah, with the robes, and
- 42:08Speaker 3: I mean sometimes it could be a very tiny part,
- 42:12Speaker 3: but the main part is like they don't understand we're
- 42:14Speaker 3: in that room for like so many hours, no camera,
- 42:18Speaker 3: no phone, no it's eavy like you were talking the
- 42:21Speaker 3: entire time.
- 42:22Speaker 1: It really does make a difference. And I wish she
- 42:25Speaker 1: would have given him that time.
- 42:27Speaker 2: It helped me make my decision to tell you that.
- 42:29Speaker 2: I mean it really I came out knowing.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's so important, and I think sometimes the
- 42:34Speaker 3: physical thing can block And I mean, I love the
- 42:37Speaker 3: way you did it, and I feel like so many
- 42:39Speaker 3: people have done it in the past where like they said,
- 42:41Speaker 3: that's off the table, so valid, make that like known upfront.
- 42:44Speaker 3: I love that, but I mean it is so important
- 42:47Speaker 3: just to be like, what are you actually feeling? There's
- 42:50Speaker 3: no cameras, how do we move forward?
- 42:53Speaker 1: And she didn't, and we wish she would have, Like
- 42:55Speaker 1: so easily I.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Would have been like, Okay, here's your ultimatum, and the morning,
- 43:00Speaker 3: I'm gonna leave what I need on the camera and
- 43:04Speaker 3: I want to give you that because I care about you.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Well, and he also did say something like he used
- 43:10Speaker 2: the term two years and so hard of that conversation,
- 43:14Speaker 2: and she said like, yeah, I'm not willing to wait two.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Years, which I do feel that's a long time.
- 43:19Speaker 3: I get that, And I mean there was something similar
- 43:22Speaker 3: that happened on my season where I had someone who
- 43:25Speaker 3: didn't want to get engaged and it was so important
- 43:27Speaker 3: to me at the time that they made that commitment
- 43:30Speaker 3: to me. So I do in a way understand where
- 43:33Speaker 3: she's coming from that this is you know, the Bachelor.
- 43:36Speaker 3: There's a ring, it is involved, and I completely.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Agree with her the two years it was a long
- 43:41Speaker 2: that is.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that is a long time.
- 43:43Speaker 2: I remember Joey and Lex had that same conversation and
- 43:47Speaker 2: she went to him and spoke to him like, you know, said,
- 43:50Speaker 2: I have this physical thing that happens. You know that
- 43:53Speaker 2: she is going to have a hard time having babies
- 43:55Speaker 2: and she needed the timeline to be quicker, and he said,
- 43:58Speaker 2: I'm not going to get there, and she was. She
- 43:59Speaker 2: self eliminated. But I don't think Cindy ever, like had
- 44:03Speaker 2: that conversation she just before it happened.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we saw a lot of it off camera,
- 44:08Speaker 3: like in the live audience and after she had months
- 44:11Speaker 3: and months and months to like cross about it.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so I have to address my lack of voice.
- 44:16Speaker 1: So was party.
- 44:18Speaker 4: I was.
- 44:18Speaker 2: I was out a little less. We went out to dinner.
- 44:21Speaker 2: We actually went with Bachelor People, which was really fun.
- 44:24Speaker 2: I ended up with with Pascal was in town and
- 44:31Speaker 2: for my season, yes, yep, and he was there and
- 44:35Speaker 2: Monica Bee was there and we saw them sitting together
- 44:38Speaker 2: in the audience.
- 44:39Speaker 1: I'm just saying, wait any more. I can't give you
- 44:42Speaker 1: any tea.
- 44:44Speaker 2: That's up to them. And then Theresa Leslie.
- 44:48Speaker 1: I love that.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Quite a fun group.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I love that party. I was at eight pm as
- 44:54Speaker 1: soon as the sun went down, tucked in. I have
- 44:59Speaker 1: to I love that you guys went out, but we
- 45:01Speaker 1: need to get her at tea.
- 45:03Speaker 2: I know. So I'm sorry.
- 45:04Speaker 1: I couldn't like talk very good. But no, you sound
- 45:07Speaker 1: so much better than you did in the car. When
- 45:09Speaker 1: we were in the car, I was like, Joe, this
- 45:10Speaker 1: is gonna be an a s m R episode. Just
- 45:13Speaker 1: whispered to me. I'll say, what you think you just talk? No,
- 45:18Speaker 1: you did so. I feel like your voice bounced back.
- 45:22Speaker 1: It's giving raspy.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Yeah, oh god, I want to feel respy, I feel tired.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I know this was it was a long night.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, thanks Ben and Ashley for letting us take over,
- 45:34Speaker 2: especially for this really monumental fin helly, thank you for
- 45:38Speaker 2: letting us do it. And we're honored that you'd want
- 45:41Speaker 2: to hear our opinion. I know we didn't. We're not
- 45:43Speaker 2: professionals like you guys, but we have been set in
- 45:46Speaker 2: the seats, he said, and I feel like we had
- 45:48Speaker 2: a really good view of what was No.
- 45:51Speaker 4: I love it.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Should we do what it's? Ben's outro always it's like
- 45:54Speaker 1: I've been met.
- 45:57Speaker 2: I've been Rachel. Okay, you you have Ashley. Okay, so
- 46:04Speaker 2: I've been Joe.
- 46:05Speaker 1: And I've been Rachel and what are they? I forget
- 46:07Speaker 1: I say that, And I've been Joed, I've been Rachel.
- 46:11Speaker 1: We did it.
- 46:20Speaker 2: H
