I-35 Closures This Weekend | San Antonio News
Drivers on I-35, listen up—major overnight and weekend closures are coming. Starting Thursday night, southbound lanes between North Walters and North New Braunfels Ave near Fort Sam Houston will shut down from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., along with key ramps. Over the weekend, Saturday night to Sunday morning, ramps connecting I-35 to Loop 410 and its frontage roads will be closed. Plus, the southbound I-35 frontage road south of Rittiman Road is locked down Friday night through Monday morning. All part of the $3 billion I-35 NEX project—plan ahead and expect detours.
