- 1:10Speaker 1: our goal for the year. You know how like you
- 1:12Speaker 1: get to work and you're like, I'm done with all
- 1:14Speaker 1: my work and it's eleven o'clock, I'm just going to
- 1:17Speaker 1: watch Netflix shows, go down a rabbit hole on YouTube,
- 1:22Speaker 1: and basically stay on social media the whole time. So
- 1:27Speaker 1: we're not doing that, but we're going to chill for
- 1:31Speaker 1: the goal. And you know, the goal to me at
- 1:35Speaker 1: this point, considering how quickly we got to ten thousand subscribers.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Right now we're at twelve thousand, knocking on thirteen. I
- 1:44Speaker 1: think twenty five thousand is the next goal. I doubt
- 1:48Speaker 1: that will happen before the end of the year, but
- 1:50Speaker 1: you never know, I might go vite, you know what
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm saying. But shout out to everybody, and especially shout
- 1:56Speaker 1: out to new subscribers to this podcast. And if you
- 2:00Speaker 1: type of person who pop in, whether it's the audio
- 2:02Speaker 1: Joint or YouTube, but you didn't hit that subscribe button,
- 2:07Speaker 1: check this dataut because it's real. More than ninety percent
- 2:12Speaker 1: of the people who listen to this podcast or even
- 2:15Speaker 1: watch it on YouTube are not subscribed.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Not subscribe.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So if you enjoy this content, and you know, whether
- 2:24Speaker 1: it's this weekly podcast or the shortsip post or the
- 2:29Speaker 1: special episodes, and I got a few more coming up
- 2:32Speaker 1: special episodes like my reaction videos, like I just did
- 2:36Speaker 1: a third video recently talking about the origin not the origins,
- 2:41Speaker 1: but what is coke rat basically, So it makes sense
- 2:47Speaker 1: if you like something to subscribe it, like comment all
- 2:51Speaker 1: that good stuff. But today is a special episode of
- 2:55Speaker 1: the podcast. Is an episode I do annually. As we
- 2:58Speaker 1: approach the end of the second quarter, we will be
- 3:02Speaker 1: at the halfway point of the year, and like I
- 3:08Speaker 1: say when I do my best of the Year podcast episodes,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I'm working on that end of the year list every
- 3:17Speaker 1: day throughout the throughout the year. So all the projects
- 3:21Speaker 1: that drop everything you know I'm listening to, you know,
- 3:25Speaker 1: surprise drops, drops we know about right like Little Wing
- 3:31Speaker 1: Carter six. If you was looking for my review today,
- 3:35Speaker 1: it's not that good, So there you go.
- 3:39Speaker 2: But I'm building.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I'm building that list throughout the year, and typically by
- 3:46Speaker 1: the halfway point there's some strong candidates. But this year
- 3:50Speaker 1: is a little bit different. I feel like the list
- 3:54Speaker 1: is full of good albums and I got maybe like
- 3:57Speaker 1: thirteen joints for y'all good albums, but maybe one or
- 4:03Speaker 1: two are those joints that I feel like by the
- 4:06Speaker 1: end of the year they'll still be on this list
- 4:09Speaker 1: because we got a lot coming up.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So what I'll further ado.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I know some people want to get right into it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Let's get right into the business.
- 4:20Speaker 2: All right.
- 4:21Speaker 1: So like I said, this is a quick list, I'm
- 4:23Speaker 1: gonna run through them. I'm gonna give you some of
- 4:25Speaker 1: my thoughts on some of the albums. But here are
- 4:28Speaker 1: some of the albums I think are the best of
- 4:31Speaker 1: the year so far. Starting at the top, No Order, Relax,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and No Order whatsoever. Starting at the top. One hundred
- 4:41Speaker 1: Grand Royce with his album It's Personal Too. I was
- 4:45Speaker 1: introduced shout out to yents. I was introduced to one
- 4:49Speaker 1: hundred Grand roys through the first part you know It's Personal,
- 4:56Speaker 1: and I was like, Man, these beats a dope.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Homie Karam like, I like this.
- 5:00Speaker 1: So I've always kind of kept my eye on his music,
- 5:03Speaker 1: and he's done some stuff with Dame Grease that was dope.
- 5:07Speaker 2: But this year he.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Dropped a sequel to the album I was introduced to
- 5:12Speaker 1: him by, and Man, one thing about this dude is
- 5:18Speaker 1: you can't never call him a wack beat picker because
- 5:21Speaker 1: I love almost every beat he picks. I never look
- 5:25Speaker 1: at the beat and be like, ah, that could have
- 5:26Speaker 1: been better. They're always dope. So if you want boom back,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you want familiar samples. That's what I really like about it,
- 5:33Speaker 1: like flips on familiar samples. You should definitely check this
- 5:38Speaker 1: joint out. And again, the bars are there. It's boomback.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You know what comes with
- 5:45Speaker 1: the territorial boom back. The beats make your head nah
- 5:48Speaker 1: like it's worth to listen. West Side Gun twelve. I
- 5:53Speaker 1: review this on the one of the episodes of Hip
- 5:58Speaker 1: Hop Now podcast and I said, straight up, I think
- 6:01Speaker 1: this is probably going to make my top five of
- 6:06Speaker 1: the year. We'll see what happens, but this is a
- 6:08Speaker 1: great album from Westside Gun. If you stayed away from
- 6:11Speaker 1: Westcott Westside Done for a little while, or you like
- 6:15Speaker 1: Stove God Cooks but haven't really heard anything since Reasonable Doubt,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I mean reasonable Drought. This is my This is probably
- 6:24Speaker 1: what you want to check out. There's probably one song
- 6:27Speaker 1: on here I skip, and that's saying a lot. And
- 6:30Speaker 1: it's also featured on this album as st Nax. So
- 6:34Speaker 1: it's a very dope album from Westside Gun. One of
- 6:37Speaker 1: the early candidates for my Top five of the year.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I mess with it heavy. I listened to it like
- 6:44Speaker 1: all the time, So check that out. Next up. Snoop Dogg,
- 6:49Speaker 1: is it a crime? Snoop Dogg just dropped Missionary with
- 6:53Speaker 1: Doctor dre At like I think. In December of twenty
- 6:58Speaker 1: twenty four, I'm thinking we're not really going to get
- 7:01Speaker 1: another album from Snoop, you know, probably a year or
- 7:05Speaker 1: two or whatever, you know, and I was thinking like
- 7:08Speaker 1: it would be different, But it felt like Snoop saw
- 7:11Speaker 1: the reception of that album, which I thought was great,
- 7:14Speaker 1: but maybe people who saw Doctor Dre and Snoop getting
- 7:17Speaker 1: together had an expectation that was more chronic Doggie style
- 7:22Speaker 1: and not necessarily what they make today, which is not
- 7:26Speaker 1: lacking my opinion, but I get it that people wanted
- 7:29Speaker 1: a more LBC, you know, harder edge Snoop, and I
- 7:35Speaker 1: think this album gives you that. Like Off the Rip,
- 7:38Speaker 1: he doesn't do much talking about you know, the whole
- 7:41Speaker 1: performing at that president's inauguration, but he does address it
- 7:47Speaker 1: in his light and he moves on. And I think
- 7:50Speaker 1: this is one of the better albums of the year.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Next up Lloyd Banks AO and three. Despite my mistakes,
- 7:58Speaker 1: this is going to be in a couple people who's
- 8:00Speaker 1: like top five of the year easy, you want boom,
- 8:04Speaker 1: bad beats, you.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Want bars upon bars upon bars.
- 8:08Speaker 1: If you know Lloyd Banks and what he does is
- 8:11Speaker 1: like a technician with the bars, and I feel like
- 8:14Speaker 1: this project is one of his better albums recently. I
- 8:18Speaker 1: know there's some people who like everything he's released recently.
- 8:23Speaker 1: For me, he can be a little bit monitor, not
- 8:27Speaker 1: a little bit a lot of bit monotone, which if
- 8:33Speaker 1: you have a ton of songs with a ton of
- 8:35Speaker 1: verses and the songs are longer, they can all blend together.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I think this project is a little bit different because
- 8:42Speaker 1: because of the production, the production provides you with that variety,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and it feels like the production kind of sets the
- 8:49Speaker 1: tone for what you're gonna hear. So I think that's
- 8:52Speaker 1: what I like most about it, because it made me
- 8:55Speaker 1: get through the whole album without getting that feeling of man,
- 8:59Speaker 1: this just feels so redundant. I'm not even listening to
- 9:01Speaker 1: his lyrics, no bar work, and the guest features on
- 9:06Speaker 1: here are the same, like dudes like Ransom Styles P.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I believe it's on here, Like those dudes that you
- 9:15Speaker 1: know can can rap rap, they bring it on this record,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and I think it's just a dope album. This will
- 9:23Speaker 1: probably make my top five a year strictly off the
- 9:28Speaker 1: fact that it's refreshing to just hear different hip hop
- 9:33Speaker 1: and not different for different sake, but mainly because it
- 9:39Speaker 1: sounds good. Sounds like really good and it's still in
- 9:43Speaker 1: that hip hop bag. It's not in that bag that
- 9:45Speaker 1: blurs the lines between pop or some other genre of music.
- 9:49Speaker 1: It's straight up hip hop. But it just sounds really good.
- 9:54Speaker 1: And a lot of it has to do with did
- 9:57Speaker 1: I even say the album this is SOB and No
- 10:00Speaker 1: Id from the private collection of Saba and no Id.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I feel like Saba's lyrics are varied, the subject matter
- 10:08Speaker 1: matter is varied. He sounds poised on these records in
- 10:12Speaker 1: the pocket, all that good stuff, and no Id from
- 10:17Speaker 1: the producer's standpoint, it's the same thing variety, you know
- 10:21Speaker 1: what I'm saying, music that like. Put it this way,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I could listen to somebody like Currency all day every day.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Why because it's more about the vibe of it than
- 10:34Speaker 1: it's about whether those lyrics are similar to the lyrics
- 10:37Speaker 1: on the other song and if that beat is a
- 10:40Speaker 1: similar feeling to the nah Man that's what I.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Came there for.
- 10:44Speaker 1: But when somebody can make you really listen to the
- 10:47Speaker 1: things they're saying and kind of reflect and relate and
- 10:50Speaker 1: all that good stuff, now you're talking and I feel
- 10:53Speaker 1: like on this album with Saba and no Id, it's
- 10:57Speaker 1: gonna be hard to knock it out of my top five,
- 11:00Speaker 1: Like we're gonna have to have some stellar albums this
- 11:02Speaker 1: year in order for it to leave my top five,
- 11:05Speaker 1: because right now I could easily pencil it in.
- 11:08Speaker 2: That's one of the top five.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Next up, Too Short, Sir, Too Short, Volume one, Freaky Tales.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I just like it because it's classic. Too Short on
- 11:18Speaker 1: a new album, right Some people feel like, oh, if
- 11:23Speaker 1: he's not doing anything different, I'll just go listen to
- 11:25Speaker 1: the old albums. You're right, Too Short got a lot
- 11:28Speaker 1: of older albums where he's doing all these same things.
- 11:32Speaker 1: But what I like about it is that it's new
- 11:35Speaker 1: and I like the production, and Too Short is hilarious
- 11:39Speaker 1: to me. It's early nineties vulgar. I'm gonna just warn
- 11:44Speaker 1: you right now. It's not like he uses the B
- 11:48Speaker 1: word and that's it, or he might make a reference
- 11:50Speaker 1: towards a lady doing something. No, it's early nineties hardcore lyrics.
- 11:59Speaker 1: So if you cringe yet hearing certain things, don't even
- 12:03Speaker 1: press playfam I don't know how you heard the first single.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Next up, Jim Jones at the Church Steps These This
- 12:11Speaker 1: is one of those joints that will make it it will.
- 12:15Speaker 1: It will make the best of the year for me
- 12:18Speaker 1: because I just like it. It's just dope. I like
- 12:21Speaker 1: when Jim Jones raps like this. I like when his
- 12:24Speaker 1: production value is not only varied but kind of soulful
- 12:29Speaker 1: in some ways, and he rhymes perfectly in pocket. He's
- 12:34Speaker 1: like if Rick Ross was from New York. That's what
- 12:39Speaker 1: he's like. Like he talks about the same things all
- 12:42Speaker 1: the times, but it doesn't matter. It just sounds dope,
- 12:45Speaker 1: and I just like his cadence. I don't necessarily like
- 12:49Speaker 1: seeing him dress like, you know, like Dusty Rhodes at
- 12:55Speaker 1: the Bowling Alley or whatever that video was for who
- 12:58Speaker 1: Cares or young yn. I think it's whack for him
- 13:03Speaker 1: to even dress or act like that at his age,
- 13:06Speaker 1: But that is no way, there's no way put it
- 13:11Speaker 1: that way. Bars if that's how you put your boss
- 13:16Speaker 1: that I could listen to this album and let what
- 13:18Speaker 1: I think about how he dressed or how he's acting
- 13:21Speaker 1: in public deterred me from the fact that this is
- 13:25Speaker 1: a very dope album. And I think a lot of
- 13:27Speaker 1: people ignore this type of music from Jim Jones because
- 13:33Speaker 1: they feel like, now, I can't really mess with that dude,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I don't even know him. I don't need to mess
- 13:37Speaker 1: with him. It's just it's just a very dope album.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So if you liked L Capo, you'll like this. I'm
- 13:45Speaker 1: just saying. Next up, DJ Fresh Late Night Freeway Vibes.
- 13:49Speaker 1: That's an instrumental album from DJ Fresh. I think it's
- 13:54Speaker 1: like the I thought I had it down here, but
- 13:56Speaker 1: I think it's like the thirteenth volume something crazy. But
- 14:02Speaker 1: what I like about it is one of those instrumental
- 14:06Speaker 1: albums that you could just put on and rock to it.
- 14:09Speaker 2: It's not boring.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It's almost like some people can't just listen to an
- 14:14Speaker 1: instrumental hip hop album then when the ain't some bars
- 14:16Speaker 1: on that And sometimes I can feel like that, But
- 14:19Speaker 1: I feel like that when the beats are bare right,
- 14:22Speaker 1: like they're simple right, it's a loop, and it's a
- 14:24Speaker 1: loop that continues to happen until it's finished, right like
- 14:28Speaker 1: three minutes in, you're still.
- 14:30Speaker 2: On that loop.
- 14:32Speaker 1: That's not what these DJ Fresh instrumentals are. They have
- 14:35Speaker 1: take on the life of their own. They have a
- 14:37Speaker 1: personality with everything that's in that's included within the beats,
- 14:42Speaker 1: how they begin all kinds of stuff. So I really
- 14:45Speaker 1: mess with it for that reason. A couple more next
- 14:49Speaker 1: step Smith and Wesson Infinity. I was a little like
- 14:54Speaker 1: so so, and again I don't know if this will
- 14:57Speaker 1: make my best City year by the end of the year,
- 15:01Speaker 1: because again, there are a lot of albums on the
- 15:04Speaker 1: way that are highly anticipated. You know, they don't have
- 15:07Speaker 1: to live up to that anticipation for most fans. But
- 15:13Speaker 1: this album Infinity from Smith and Weston is pretty dope,
- 15:17Speaker 1: produced by Ninth Wonder and the Soul Council has a
- 15:21Speaker 1: number of bangers on there, but it could potentially be
- 15:25Speaker 1: one of those albums people forget because it came out
- 15:28Speaker 1: so early in the year. But if you haven't heard
- 15:30Speaker 1: it and you're a fan of Smith and Wesson, check
- 15:32Speaker 1: it out. I did a review on one of the
- 15:35Speaker 1: past episodes of Hip Hop Now podcast, but also I
- 15:38Speaker 1: did a ranking of Smith and Wesson albums, and honestly,
- 15:44Speaker 1: going back listening to the progression of that group up
- 15:49Speaker 1: into this album Infinity, it just makes sense lyrically, musically,
- 15:54Speaker 1: and all that good stuff. So check that out. Our
- 15:57Speaker 1: next up a dude who I did an interview right
- 15:59Speaker 1: here on this podcast. You should check that interview out.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I am God stity of God. If you require extreme
- 16:09Speaker 1: bar work articulation of words, I Am God never fails,
- 16:18Speaker 1: never fails, Like you can listen to like you listen
- 16:22Speaker 1: to the first record off the Joint, and it's so
- 16:25Speaker 1: potent with like just not only just bar work and technique,
- 16:32Speaker 1: but just execution of that technique, clarity of his voice
- 16:36Speaker 1: as he says these words, as he enunciates, and not
- 16:40Speaker 1: in an overtly way like I think that's what I
- 16:44Speaker 1: like about Push a T in particular, Like it's the
- 16:47Speaker 1: way he enunciates when he talks about all this. He
- 16:51Speaker 1: makes everything with all his coke. He makes everything sound
- 16:56Speaker 1: bigger than what he's actually saying. Right, it makes sense.
- 17:00Speaker 1: I'm really basic with someone else not saying the bars
- 17:02Speaker 1: are basic. But his execution of the verse is part
- 17:08Speaker 1: of what makes his versus dope. And that's the same
- 17:12Speaker 1: thing what I Am God. It's his delivery that makes
- 17:16Speaker 1: you pay attention to the words, and when you're paying
- 17:18Speaker 1: attention to the words, you kind of catching the gems
- 17:21Speaker 1: and the bars and you're like, man, this dude is awesome.
- 17:24Speaker 2: The album is also.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Next up Dave easton Ransom The Final Call I'm Not
- 17:31Speaker 1: Gonna Lie man like. Ransom did two recent collaborations right.
- 17:40Speaker 1: He did one with Conway last year that I kind
- 17:43Speaker 1: of like got into after the fact because they're both
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm a big fans of both Conway and Ransom, but
- 17:53Speaker 1: I felt like I expected a little bit more and
- 17:57Speaker 1: sometimes it felt like the you know, the music didn't
- 18:00Speaker 1: match them teaming up, and the chemistry wasn't what I
- 18:04Speaker 1: thought it would be, but it wasn't bad at all.
- 18:07Speaker 1: That's kind of how I felt initially with the Davies
- 18:10Speaker 1: and Ransom right. It felt like, Okay, Davies, you take
- 18:14Speaker 1: your turn, and then Ransom takes his turn. But as
- 18:18Speaker 1: I go back and spin it, spin it more men,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I listen to this on a regular basis. Is it
- 18:25Speaker 1: top five for me at the end of the year.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I doubt it, but it definitely will be in my
- 18:29Speaker 1: best of the year because I think if again, if
- 18:31Speaker 1: you enjoy bar work and underground beats, this with a
- 18:37Speaker 1: theme with a theme in the final call, I think
- 18:41Speaker 1: he would enjoy this joint Wu Tang Clan Black Sampson
- 18:47Speaker 1: the Bestard Swordsman. This is not one of the better
- 18:54Speaker 1: Wu Tang projects, but it's also not one of the
- 18:58Speaker 1: worst it's somewhere in the middle where to me, it's good.
- 19:03Speaker 1: It's good for what it is. There's not a lot
- 19:07Speaker 1: of noise around it, because again, every time the Wu
- 19:10Speaker 1: Tang's coming out, we wonder if Rizzard's gonna be on
- 19:14Speaker 1: the boards, and lately he's not on the boards, and
- 19:18Speaker 1: it has to do with him not wanting to retread
- 19:21Speaker 1: ground production wise when it comes to that familiar Wu
- 19:25Speaker 1: Tang sound. I wish one time he would just do
- 19:29Speaker 1: that so that we can get a riser produced album
- 19:33Speaker 1: that sounds like the Wool, you know and love at
- 19:35Speaker 1: least a combination between their first two albums. But that's
- 19:40Speaker 1: not where Riza is. So we get Mathematics, which is
- 19:43Speaker 1: not bad trade off. It's just that in order to
- 19:48Speaker 1: get something that resembles the Wool sound, Mathematics is your
- 19:53Speaker 1: guy for the Wool and this album having a blaxploitation
- 19:58Speaker 1: theme to it. It's pretty good. It's pretty good. Will
- 20:02Speaker 1: it be top five of the year for me? No,
- 20:04Speaker 1: it's not even top five right now? Is it one
- 20:07Speaker 1: of the better albums of the year so far? Yes,
- 20:11Speaker 1: it is. So if you like the Wu you like
- 20:13Speaker 1: the Wo sound. All the members of there on the joint,
- 20:16Speaker 1: including Rizza.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Check this out.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You know you might dig it, because if you're waiting
- 20:21Speaker 1: for Rizza to dial it back to thirty six Chambers
- 20:25Speaker 1: or Wu Tang forever, you're gonna be waiting forever. Because
- 20:29Speaker 1: he said so, like nah Man, I'm trying to I'm
- 20:32Speaker 1: trying to create something different. And the last one I
- 20:36Speaker 1: have on my list is Exhibit Kingmaker. This is an
- 20:39Speaker 1: album that released recently. Exhibit was away from the game
- 20:44Speaker 1: for some time, so this is kind of like a
- 20:45Speaker 1: comeback album for him. And if you like Exhibit and
- 20:49Speaker 1: his music, if you haven't heard Exhibit before, not to
- 20:55Speaker 1: say that you should start here, but this is.
- 20:58Speaker 2: A really good album, a really good album. I dug it.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I messed with the themes, I messed with the guest appearances. Ironically,
- 21:09Speaker 1: the song with Redman was the one I didn't like
- 21:12Speaker 1: that much, which is weird because I love Redman, but
- 21:15Speaker 1: it was like it was okay. I guess I was
- 21:17Speaker 1: expecting more. But again, production is right. Exhibit sounds fresh,
- 21:23Speaker 1: sounds hungry, and it's an album in the same vein
- 21:28Speaker 1: that albums used to be made.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It's a concept, but it's not like every song is
- 21:35Speaker 1: a play on that concept, but the concept is felt
- 21:38Speaker 1: and heard throughout the project, and I just think between
- 21:44Speaker 1: and the way it's mess it too. It sounds excellent,
- 21:46Speaker 1: like if you put headphones on with it, it sounds great.
- 21:50Speaker 1: But I just enjoyed because it felt like Exhibit took
- 21:54Speaker 1: his time with this record and it's a good album. Now,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I know nowadays good isn't enough for some people. They
- 22:04Speaker 1: need you to say it's in your top five, or
- 22:06Speaker 1: if it's the best of the year, it has to
- 22:08Speaker 1: blow them away. I think music, we say music pasting
- 22:12Speaker 1: music is subjective. When I talk about some of these albums,
- 22:17Speaker 1: you may not like some of these albums. You may
- 22:19Speaker 1: not like some of these artists. I'm not here to
- 22:22Speaker 1: convince you. I'm just telling you from what I've heard,
- 22:25Speaker 1: and I've heard a lot that those that I just
- 22:29Speaker 1: gave you are the best of the year so far. Now,
- 22:35Speaker 1: when it comes to my best of the year, which
- 22:37Speaker 1: will happen in December, and this list will go, you know,
- 22:44Speaker 1: will be reshaped. Right now, there's two slots for my
- 22:49Speaker 1: fifteen at the end of the year. Because what I
- 22:51Speaker 1: do at the end of the year is I give
- 22:53Speaker 1: you ten albums that I feel are some of the
- 22:56Speaker 1: best of the year, and then I give you my
- 22:58Speaker 1: top five and right now, that was like thirteen, right,
- 23:03Speaker 1: so there are two who we can put in there,
- 23:06Speaker 1: and then throughout the year, like once I get a
- 23:08Speaker 1: solid fifteen. As albums release, especially if they're great, some
- 23:14Speaker 1: things will come off this list and you say to yourself,
- 23:19Speaker 1: because you're not on social media all the time, well,
- 23:22Speaker 1: what's coming up?
- 23:24Speaker 2: Who?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Well, my friend is rumors of a mob Deep album,
- 23:27Speaker 1: obviously a posthumous album for Prodigy with Havoc and Alchemists
- 23:33Speaker 1: on the boards. There's also the mass appeal seven albums
- 23:40Speaker 1: from seven legends on the way. Those seven albums being
- 23:45Speaker 1: Slick Wreck, which is up first, that'll be out pretty soon,
- 23:50Speaker 1: big Al, ray Kwon, ghost Face, who Else, Daylight Soul,
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'm forgetting somebody else, Nasen Premier, and then who's the
- 24:03Speaker 1: other person? I cannot remember? Noazen Premier, Slick Rick ray Kwan,
- 24:10Speaker 1: ghost Face, big Al, Daylight Soul, and mob D. I
- 24:16Speaker 1: could I forget mob D when I just mentioned mob D,
- 24:19Speaker 1: but also more recent dropping in July, You from the
- 24:23Speaker 1: Future Get your gass out of head. The Clips have
- 24:26Speaker 1: a brand new album. They have a single out right now,
- 24:30Speaker 1: Lord have Mercy. I heard a snippet of another song,
- 24:33Speaker 1: Lord Have Mercy, Lord Had Mercy. We about to get cars.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Beats clips are fact. So what's in your best of
- 24:44Speaker 1: the year so far? Did you have some of the
- 24:46Speaker 1: albums I had? Please leave album suggestions joints you feel like.
