- 0:00Speaker 1: iHeart podcasts. Bring you the ultimate Summer of love Tree.
- 0:04Speaker 1: This is famously available. Hey, everybody's famously available. I have
- 0:09Speaker 1: two famously available ladies co hosting with me today. They're amazing,
- 0:14Speaker 1: They're fantastic. That's why they're famously available and doing this
- 0:19Speaker 1: podcast with me. We're here today because they were some
- 0:22Speaker 1: of the spies during Mercedes and Bryce's date at jingle Ball.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Now I have already talked to Bryce.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I really don't know any behind the scenes of this date,
- 0:37Speaker 1: and so today I'm bringing Deanna and Kathy here on
- 0:41Speaker 1: to really tell me about the date from their perspective,
- 0:46Speaker 1: what they saw, what they.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Know, what went good, will went bad?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Catch us up. And here's the fun part about this show.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I think we get mercedes perspective, we get Bryce's perspective,
- 0:58Speaker 1: we also get spot perspectives, and so somewhere in the
- 1:03Speaker 1: middle is going to be the truth. But everybody's truth counts.
- 1:08Speaker 1: So all right, ladies, let's kick this off. Dean, I'm
- 1:13Speaker 1: going to start with you tell us kind of I
- 1:18Speaker 1: guess before I kind of talk about what Bryce took
- 1:21Speaker 1: talked about. I would love to hear your conversations with
- 1:24Speaker 1: Bryce and Mercedes before the date started, What were you
- 1:29Speaker 1: excited about? What were you thinking could happen? Kind of
- 1:32Speaker 1: that pre interview that you did that we can all
- 1:34Speaker 1: listen to.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Okay, I've actually been really looking forward to this. I
- 1:40Speaker 3: joked with Bryce that he thought he was just going
- 1:43Speaker 3: on a date with Mercedes, but truth be told, he
- 1:45Speaker 3: was going on a date with Mercedes, Me, Kathy, like
- 1:50Speaker 3: dozens of other people, you know what I mean. So
- 1:53Speaker 3: I listen, thanks so much for letting me be a
- 1:57Speaker 3: part of their initial like dating. I so so enjoyed
- 2:03Speaker 3: getting to interview him and kind of lay up what
- 2:06Speaker 3: he was walking into. And I don't know, Ben, but
- 2:11Speaker 3: I kind of let Bryce have it. I didn't let
- 2:13Speaker 3: him like, I didn't make it this like gentle, smooth
- 2:17Speaker 3: transition for him. I kind of let him have it
- 2:19Speaker 3: before he got to meet Mercedes, and I joked with
- 2:22Speaker 3: him and I laughed a lot. I'm not sure Bryce
- 2:27Speaker 3: thought I was as funny as I thought I was,
- 2:30Speaker 3: But listen, I had a great time. But what I
- 2:33Speaker 3: want to say is what a unique experience to be
- 2:36Speaker 3: sitting in the room when Mercedes walked in and to
- 2:38Speaker 3: have eyes on the two of them the very first
- 2:41Speaker 3: time that they got to meet. It's like one of
- 2:44Speaker 3: my favorite things about weddings too, you know what I
- 2:46Speaker 3: mean when you see the bride walk up and you
- 2:47Speaker 3: see the groom and he's crying and he's in love
- 2:49Speaker 3: and he's you know, it was the same situation because
- 2:51Speaker 3: I Mercedes and I rode to the studio together, so
- 2:55Speaker 3: we had the opportunity to talk, and she was a
- 2:57Speaker 3: little nervous and she was excited, and then she got
- 3:00Speaker 3: to stand outside of the door and be there for
- 3:04Speaker 3: the twenty minutes I got to interview Bryce, and probably
- 3:08Speaker 3: her nerves and stuff were just adding up. And what
- 3:11Speaker 3: a fun experience to see her come into the room
- 3:15Speaker 3: because you know, you're expecting them to be like blown away,
- 3:18Speaker 3: you know, Kathy, you know, because you got to see
- 3:20Speaker 3: him too and take a look at him and see
- 3:22Speaker 3: his looks, his physical appearance. But I think he was
- 3:25Speaker 3: a good looking guy. And Mercedes, we know, is gorgeous.
- 3:28Speaker 3: But how fun it was to sit in the room
- 3:30Speaker 3: and kind of see her come in because there's a
- 3:32Speaker 3: piece where she's trying to play it cool too. You know,
- 3:35Speaker 3: she doesn't want to be like off the bat, like
- 3:37Speaker 3: ooh he's ugly or oh damn, he's so hot, but
- 3:41Speaker 3: she's playing it cool. But also she's super nervous and
- 3:43Speaker 3: she's excited too, and he tried to claim he wasn't nervous,
- 3:46Speaker 3: but like we all where, we all know.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Well, I want to know what did you think when
- 3:52Speaker 4: you saw her lay eyes on him? Because clearly you've
- 3:55Speaker 4: got to see him first. So what was your take
- 3:57Speaker 4: when you saw her meet? How did she look?
- 4:02Speaker 3: I thought initially they were both trying to play it cool.
- 4:05Speaker 3: And I think actually when we were recording, I made
- 4:07Speaker 3: this little note because you could see the progression. As
- 4:09Speaker 3: an outsider, you could see the progression as the interview
- 4:12Speaker 3: went on, like they were a little too scared to
- 4:14Speaker 3: make eye contacts. They didn't look at each other too much,
- 4:16Speaker 3: but they both wanted to like check each other out.
- 4:18Speaker 3: They wanted to look at their physical appearance. It is
- 4:20Speaker 3: important to have that initial attraction. But as the interview
- 4:23Speaker 3: went on, they started to look at each other a
- 4:26Speaker 3: little longer, the eye contact was stronger, They started to
- 4:30Speaker 3: comment on each other's physical appearance. I just was like,
- 4:33Speaker 3: how cool to like sit in that situation and get
- 4:36Speaker 3: to see the two of them really take each other in.
- 4:39Speaker 3: And I think that initial traction was there that I
- 4:42Speaker 3: think that, well, I don't think. Oh no, he found
- 4:44Speaker 3: her attractive off the bat, like he made that perfectly clear.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I heard him within the first couple of minutes say, wow,
- 4:50Speaker 3: holy crap, like you're so my type. You are stunning,
- 4:53Speaker 3: Like he was captivated with her physical appearance, because she's
- 4:57Speaker 3: gorgeous obviously, but it was funny to see her too
- 5:01Speaker 3: loosen up because she was nervous. Who wouldn't be. But
- 5:05Speaker 3: it was fun to see her loosen up too because
- 5:08Speaker 3: as someone who is available, Kathy, eye contact is very
- 5:12Speaker 3: important to me, and I could see the two of
- 5:15Speaker 3: them start to pay attention to each other a little
- 5:17Speaker 3: bit more and hold eye contact a little bit more,
- 5:20Speaker 3: and really actively listen to each other and try to
- 5:25Speaker 3: comment on each other. It just was the nerves were off,
- 5:28Speaker 3: and then you got to see the natural progression of
- 5:30Speaker 3: what a date really looks like.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Wow, Kathy, for you, you weren't there for that first moment,
- 5:39Speaker 1: but we had talked with Mercedes before the date started,
- 5:44Speaker 1: so you did have an idea of what she was
- 5:46Speaker 1: wanting and expecting. Give us your kind of initial interpretation
- 5:52Speaker 1: or feelings when you saw the two of them together
- 5:55Speaker 1: for the first time.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Okay, well that's where the humor began for me, because
- 5:59Speaker 4: I kept trying to find them. I was up in
- 6:01Speaker 4: the suite and I said, where's Mercedes. She just went downstairs.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Literally we were when I was downstairs, she was upstairs.
- 6:09Speaker 4: So finally I decided to stay put waited till they
- 6:13Speaker 4: came in, and, of course, shy person that I am,
- 6:16Speaker 4: I went right up to him and I said, so,
- 6:20Speaker 4: I'm mercedes mother, and he kind of looked at me
- 6:23Speaker 4: and I said, not really, but for tonight, yes I am.
- 6:26Speaker 4: And so tell me about you.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I mean.
- 6:28Speaker 4: I started peppering them with questions and it was so funny.
- 6:31Speaker 4: The first thing he said was, well, she's so beautiful,
- 6:34Speaker 4: and I'm just I said, so, what are you looking for?
- 6:37Speaker 4: And he said, well, I'm really just I'm looking for
- 6:40Speaker 4: a beautiful woman. I said, oh, do you want to
- 6:42Speaker 4: date me? And it just completely put him off, Like,
- 6:45Speaker 4: you know, I'm just kidding. He said that It was
- 6:52Speaker 4: interesting though, because anyone who knows me, I'm I go
- 6:56Speaker 4: right in like, okay, I'm just gonna I'm the spy here,
- 6:59Speaker 4: but I'm also you know, the attorney, the opposing council
- 7:03Speaker 4: and I'm just going in. And so I asked him
- 7:06Speaker 4: what he was looking for, and he said a beautiful woman,
- 7:08Speaker 4: which you know doesn't really narrow the field, but as
- 7:11Speaker 4: you said, Dianna, Mercedes is stunning. And then he said
- 7:15Speaker 4: something about his parents had just moved to Florida from
- 7:18Speaker 4: Kansas and they wanted him to get married and have
- 7:21Speaker 4: a couple of kids, and he thought he should do that,
- 7:24Speaker 4: but he didn't know how it was going to work
- 7:26Speaker 4: out because she was in that because Mercedes lives in
- 7:30Speaker 4: Nashville and he lives in California. So I said, as
- 7:34Speaker 4: any logical person would, Oh, so you're not interested in
- 7:38Speaker 4: dating someone long distance? Oh no, I'm open to that.
- 7:42Speaker 4: I'm open to that.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Uh.
- 7:43Speaker 4: And so I said, oh, and he said, in fact,
- 7:46Speaker 4: you know I'm going to I'm going to go to
- 7:49Speaker 4: Nashville and see her. I you know, I'm going to
- 7:52Speaker 4: go and see where this goes. So I'm thinking everybody's
- 7:55Speaker 4: hitting it off until I talked to Mercedes.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Listen, I think that we should start off by giving
- 8:00Speaker 3: Bryce some credit. Okay, it is a lot to ask
- 8:04Speaker 3: someone to go on a podcast, let alone television or
- 8:10Speaker 3: anything else and put himself out there. So like, let's
- 8:13Speaker 3: give him some credit. He went into this completely blind,
- 8:16Speaker 3: and not only was he not just going on a
- 8:19Speaker 3: date alone with Mercedes, he had to deal with everyone
- 8:21Speaker 3: else involved.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Like, you know, did he seem nervous because he didn't.
- 8:25Speaker 4: To me, Diana, he didn't seem he seemed just go
- 8:27Speaker 4: with the flow kind of guy.
- 8:29Speaker 3: In the group setting. Once we got to the concert,
- 8:32Speaker 3: I think he did a really great job. But I
- 8:34Speaker 3: would say that when we interviewed him in the studio
- 8:37Speaker 3: before he met Mercedes, he was he was a little nervous,
- 8:41Speaker 3: Like he was like, Hey, I'm super confident. Well, I
- 8:42Speaker 3: don't know if you have to say you're confident. I'm
- 8:44Speaker 3: so sure you're super confident. But who would not be nervous.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I am giving this young man some grace and listen
- 8:52Speaker 3: when you hear the interview. I maybe I'm an asshole.
- 8:55Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I really gave it to Bryce. I didn't let him
- 8:59Speaker 3: cut any I didn't let him give me schmoozy answers.
- 9:04Speaker 3: I really asked him some challenging things, and I made
- 9:07Speaker 3: him laugh a little, trying to loosen him up. I
- 9:10Speaker 3: think it only got awkward when I asked him about
- 9:13Speaker 3: if he was going to kiss her that night, and
- 9:15Speaker 3: then I told him when he did, it's only weird
- 9:17Speaker 3: if I lean in too. So poor Bryce, Poor poor Bryce.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You know, I think there's a few things I did
- 9:25Speaker 1: just get to talk to Bryce.
- 9:27Speaker 2: I do want to be clear here.
- 9:28Speaker 1: We got to give him the benefit of the doubt,
- 9:29Speaker 1: because it is a weird situation at every level. Yes,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you're getting set up on a first date. That's weird. Yes,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you know that at some level people are going to
- 9:38Speaker 1: be listening to the details of this date depending on
- 9:41Speaker 1: what they want to share.
- 9:43Speaker 2: That's weird.
- 9:43Speaker 1: The other one is he's walking in to a group
- 9:46Speaker 1: of people that know each other or at least are
- 9:49Speaker 1: familiar with each other, and you are the outsider, and
- 9:52Speaker 1: everybody there knows that you're on a date with this
- 9:55Speaker 1: incredible human who we all think is a massive catch
- 10:00Speaker 1: for any man. So there's a lot going against you
- 10:04Speaker 1: when you step into it.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Then you're dismissing the whole part where he's looking at
- 10:08Speaker 3: a bunch of people who were on television he has
- 10:10Speaker 3: seen the show, like, you're dismissing the whole other piece
- 10:14Speaker 3: of like he's walking into a celebrity filled event where
- 10:17Speaker 3: there's a red carpet and you're being surrounded by a
- 10:20Speaker 3: bunch of quote celebrities who have been on television, Like
- 10:23Speaker 3: I can't imagine the level of pressure that he was feeling.
- 10:26Speaker 3: And I thought he did an excellent job. I thought
- 10:28Speaker 3: he did a great job.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't see him nervous again. By the time
- 10:32Speaker 4: I met him in the suite, he'd done the interview
- 10:35Speaker 4: with you already, Deanna, the podcast, he'd already spent time
- 10:40Speaker 4: with her.
- 10:41Speaker 3: I got the pleasure of sitting behind them on the
- 10:43Speaker 3: bus on the way to the concert. And we all
- 10:45Speaker 3: know Los Angeles and Los Angeles traffic. What was nine
- 10:48Speaker 3: miles took us an hour and a half to get there,
- 10:51Speaker 3: And I got to sit behind them on the bus,
- 10:53Speaker 3: you guys, with no one else around, And they were cute.
- 10:56Speaker 3: They were talking to each other, they were talking about
- 10:58Speaker 3: their families, they were pulling up their Instagram accounts. He
- 11:00Speaker 3: was very attentive to her, and he was very complimentary.
- 11:05Speaker 3: So if they don't get married in the end, okay.
- 11:09Speaker 3: I thought it was a really great first date. I
- 11:11Speaker 3: thought he was a great person to be set up
- 11:13Speaker 3: with on a first date. I thought she handled it
- 11:16Speaker 3: really well. Whether whether they're going to go on a
- 11:19Speaker 3: second date or keep in touch. I thought it was
- 11:21Speaker 3: a really great first date. She was cold. We were
- 11:24Speaker 3: having to stand outside and wait on our uber, and
- 11:27Speaker 3: she was really cold because she's wearing this beautiful cute
- 11:29Speaker 3: dress with no sleeves on it. And he did not
- 11:32Speaker 3: hesitate to take his jacket off and put it around
- 11:34Speaker 3: her shoulders. You guys, those things are so important. He
- 11:38Speaker 3: may not be the right person for her, but he
- 11:40Speaker 3: was chivalrous. He was kind, he was complimentary. I think
- 11:42Speaker 3: he was honest, and he was all about Mercedes that night.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Not to mention, there were a ton of other hot
- 11:50Speaker 3: girls in the room. He could have dismissed her and
- 11:53Speaker 3: literally checked out any other girl in the room. He
- 11:55Speaker 3: followed Mercedes around all night. He adored her, He found
- 11:58Speaker 3: her beautiful, He was interested. I thought it was a
- 12:00Speaker 3: fantastic first date for whom I think in general, it
- 12:05Speaker 3: was a fantastic first date. Whether they see each other again,
- 12:10Speaker 3: when we're looking in the grand scheme of first dates,
- 12:14Speaker 3: it was better than mine.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I got the question asked to me this week at
- 12:28Speaker 1: an event. They said, Ben, I'm single, I don't want
- 12:31Speaker 1: to meet somebody. What do you recommend, And I say,
- 12:33Speaker 1: go on dates, like just do it, like they're not
- 12:36Speaker 1: all going to be perfect. And I do think there
- 12:39Speaker 1: is this scale for all of us when it comes
- 12:43Speaker 1: to the first date that as long as nothing happened,
- 12:47Speaker 1: that's that memorable. Really, I mean, that's kind of my
- 12:49Speaker 1: standard is like, as long as nothing happened that that
- 12:51Speaker 1: is that memorable and that hurt us, or there was
- 12:54Speaker 1: something said where an argument got brought up in the
- 12:58Speaker 1: first date, then that's a good first date. It might
- 13:00Speaker 1: not mean that there's a second, but goodness, we'll say, hey,
- 13:04Speaker 1: this this first date didn't hurt me on by going exactly.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess. I guess we're arguing semantics here because
- 13:11Speaker 4: to me, at my age, a good first date means
- 13:14Speaker 4: I want to see the guy again. Otherwise it's a date. Yes,
- 13:18Speaker 4: I had a date, But if I say to you,
- 13:20Speaker 4: I had a really good first date, it means I
- 13:23Speaker 4: want a second date. So I think it's just my interpretation. Sure.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I think that's the beauty of this podcast too, is
- 13:28Speaker 3: we've got three wonderful women who are available that view
- 13:32Speaker 3: relationships and dating very differently at different stages in our lives.
- 13:36Speaker 3: And I guess I appreciate that, Kathy, because I've kissed
- 13:40Speaker 3: enough frogs to think, oh, well, at least there is
- 13:42Speaker 3: still a kind human being out there. At least there
- 13:45Speaker 3: is a guy who had enough piece about himself that
- 13:50Speaker 3: he at least showed up as a gentleman that night.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Because listen, hey, it could.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Have gone He could.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Have pulled up her skirt and he could have tripped
- 13:57Speaker 3: her on the red carpet. He could have told her
- 13:58Speaker 3: she was an idiot. I mean, it could have gone
- 14:00Speaker 3: seven way sideways.
- 14:01Speaker 4: So I mean, I'm saying if that had been me
- 14:04Speaker 4: and I wasn't interested, I might answer the question. You know,
- 14:07Speaker 4: Bryce was a really nice guy, had great manners. You know,
- 14:11Speaker 4: he carried my bags in the gifting suiteie open doors
- 14:14Speaker 4: for me, all those things. But there wasn't the chemistry there.
- 14:18Speaker 4: That's the answer I would give.
- 14:19Speaker 3: I think Mercedes voice that he would not be her
- 14:23Speaker 3: typical type. That was the thing. And what I encouraged
- 14:27Speaker 3: her is that if we all went with our typical type,
- 14:32Speaker 3: look where we could have ended up. Sometimes we have
- 14:35Speaker 3: to think outside of the box and outside of our
- 14:37Speaker 3: comfort zone because we might typically chase chaos. So I know,
- 14:43Speaker 3: He's not her typical type, but at least he was
- 14:45Speaker 3: a He was a decent human being that showed up
- 14:47Speaker 3: for a first date.
- 14:49Speaker 4: And really, and I also think, you know, we should
- 14:51Speaker 4: give Mercedes some credit here as well. She has all
- 14:54Speaker 4: these people that she actually does know well, and some
- 14:58Speaker 4: of her good friends are there, and so she's trying
- 15:00Speaker 4: the balancing act of seeing if this guy is a
- 15:03Speaker 4: good potential for dating while also looking around the room
- 15:08Speaker 4: and seeing her friends and seeing what they're thinking about him.
- 15:12Speaker 4: And you know, I don't know Mercedes as well as
- 15:15Speaker 4: you do. We've spent a couple of times together, but
- 15:18Speaker 4: she seemed very very honest with me about what was
- 15:22Speaker 4: going on the date and particularly when we got back
- 15:25Speaker 4: to the hotel after the date.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Let's dive in here a bit.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I want to talk about Bryce a little bit more,
- 15:31Speaker 1: because I did just get off of a conversation with him.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Deanna, you were on the sprinter van.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I'll kind of roll through all these scenarios that were
- 15:39Speaker 1: brought up during our conversation. Kathy, you were involved in
- 15:43Speaker 1: some of them. Deana, you were around for some of them.
- 15:46Speaker 1: He explained to me this the sprinter van situation. It
- 15:49Speaker 1: sounded like to me, just by a listener, that he
- 15:53Speaker 1: did kind of crush the sprinter van, two hour drive
- 15:58Speaker 1: with a bunch of friends or a bunch of her
- 16:00Speaker 1: friends that he didn't know, you know, sitting next to
- 16:03Speaker 1: a girl having these conversations. It sounded like it went
- 16:06Speaker 1: better than it could have.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Do you agree?
- 16:09Speaker 3: I do. I do, and I'm telling you. I literally
- 16:11Speaker 3: sat and the way the sprinter van was, my seat
- 16:13Speaker 3: was raised up a little bit, so I could kind
- 16:15Speaker 3: of see what they were doing. I could watch their
- 16:17Speaker 3: body language. I could see the way he was leaning
- 16:20Speaker 3: in to her. I think that I got the vibe
- 16:24Speaker 3: from pretty early on that he was into her more
- 16:27Speaker 3: than she was into him. But with all of that
- 16:30Speaker 3: being said, I do think that the date went best
- 16:35Speaker 3: case scenario for first dates. They can be awkward, they
- 16:38Speaker 3: can be annoying. You cannot like somebody off the bat,
- 16:40Speaker 3: and right she did the same. She hung out with
- 16:42Speaker 3: this person all night long in a situation, and they
- 16:45Speaker 3: were together at all times. It's not like she was like,
- 16:47Speaker 3: oh I don't like this guy and she left him alone.
- 16:49Speaker 3: She very much catered to him as well. She was
- 16:52Speaker 3: also a good first date. But I thought it was
- 16:55Speaker 3: all there even on. It was an hour and a
- 16:57Speaker 3: half drive in traffic in Los Angeles was annoying. We
- 17:00Speaker 3: were all like, Okay, let's get there, you know, you
- 17:02Speaker 3: hurry up, get ready, and you wait. But they talked
- 17:05Speaker 3: the entire time. He engaged with her friends who were
- 17:08Speaker 3: sitting in the row in front of her. He asked
- 17:10Speaker 3: her great questions. She also asked him good questions. They
- 17:14Speaker 3: had mutual friends. I thought that it was a really
- 17:20Speaker 3: good time. I was not. I had a lot of fun,
- 17:24Speaker 3: so one of us had a great time. But I
- 17:27Speaker 3: just looking at it as an outside perspective, I thought
- 17:30Speaker 3: the date was really good. I do get the impression
- 17:33Speaker 3: pretty early on that he was into her more than
- 17:36Speaker 3: she was into him.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I think that's I think that's pretty clear from I mean,
- 17:40Speaker 1: I haven't talked to Mercedes about this yet. Based on
- 17:43Speaker 1: the two what the two of you are saying and
- 17:46Speaker 1: talking to him, I think he is excited about a
- 17:51Speaker 1: second date, was excited about the night that was had.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I don't know. I'll have to talk to her to see.
- 17:58Speaker 1: If he was reading any of that clearly, or I
- 18:00Speaker 1: should even be interested in a second date. But Kathy,
- 18:03Speaker 1: then you were at the concert with them, He explained
- 18:07Speaker 1: that he at the concert just kind of loosened up.
- 18:10Speaker 2: He was dancing.
- 18:12Speaker 1: He was like talking to some people that he knew
- 18:14Speaker 1: from my heart and letting her talk to her friends.
- 18:17Speaker 1: He mentioned that he wanted to give her as much
- 18:19Speaker 1: attention as possible. Do you from your perspective, when I mean,
- 18:25Speaker 1: if I'm to put words in your mouth, you think,
- 18:27Speaker 1: Kathy that this date did not end in like the
- 18:30Speaker 1: best manner, meaning that they would go on a second date.
- 18:33Speaker 1: When did that become clear to you? Was that during
- 18:36Speaker 1: the concert?
- 18:37Speaker 4: For me? Yeah? When I finally tracked them down and
- 18:41Speaker 4: got them in the same room that I was in,
- 18:44Speaker 4: she introduced me to him and we had a little
- 18:47Speaker 4: bit of small talk. Again, very polite, very nice guy.
- 18:53Speaker 4: And then he went stepped away to do something and
- 18:57Speaker 4: I said to her so and she kind of shook head. No,
- 19:01Speaker 4: nice guy, not not my guy. But before I could
- 19:04Speaker 4: get any deeper into it, he was back and so
- 19:10Speaker 4: he but in that time when she was not there,
- 19:14Speaker 4: you know, he was telling me that that they were
- 19:17Speaker 4: both Christians, that was important, and he showed me on
- 19:21Speaker 4: his neck he apparently had a tattoo. I couldn't see it,
- 19:24Speaker 4: but apparently a tattooed cross on his neck, and he said,
- 19:27Speaker 4: you know, we're we're both Christians, and she's beautiful. I
- 19:30Speaker 4: didn't I didn't get a sense of of more that
- 19:35Speaker 4: they had in common. I didn't get you know, again,
- 19:39Speaker 4: it was loud venue. It's hard to have any sort
- 19:42Speaker 4: of loud, real meaningful conversation. But she I to your point, Dianna.
- 19:48Speaker 4: She was lovely with him. She was not rude by
- 19:52Speaker 4: any stretch. But I didn't see them with their arms
- 19:56Speaker 4: on each other or looking. It was more like this
- 20:00Speaker 4: guy that I am standing with here, but there really
- 20:04Speaker 4: isn't anything. And then if I can just quickly jump ahead.
- 20:09Speaker 4: When we got back to the hotel room, there was
- 20:12Speaker 4: a pounding on my door and there were four girls
- 20:14Speaker 4: there and they came in and they were talking about
- 20:20Speaker 4: you know, it was Gabby and it was Katie and
- 20:26Speaker 4: Jess and Mercedes, and I was they were sort of
- 20:32Speaker 4: deciding what to do, and I guess he had not
- 20:36Speaker 4: gone home. He said, no, let's continue to hang out,
- 20:39Speaker 4: and they were talking about going to a bar and
- 20:41Speaker 4: she didn't want to do it. She said, I don't
- 20:43Speaker 4: know what to do. I don't want to be rude,
- 20:46Speaker 4: and I said, well, you spend all evening with him.
- 20:48Speaker 4: You know, these are your girlfriends. I don't think you
- 20:50Speaker 4: owe it to him to spend the rest of the evening. Well,
- 20:54Speaker 4: you know, he's talking about just staying here, and so
- 20:57Speaker 4: they were kind of having that conversation about what were
- 21:00Speaker 4: going to do, and Katie was saying, why don't we
- 21:01Speaker 4: just stay here and get a bottle of wine and
- 21:03Speaker 4: chat and some of the other ones wanted to go
- 21:05Speaker 4: to a bar, and Mercedes literally seemed high anxiety. How
- 21:10Speaker 4: to end this evening? Now that's that's a mother's perspective.
- 21:14Speaker 4: I'm looking at her and she's saying, there's no way.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I think one, how cool is it that they
- 21:20Speaker 1: came knocking on your door?
- 21:21Speaker 2: You had to love that, Kathy.
- 21:23Speaker 4: I always love them. I feel like I was back
- 21:25Speaker 4: in Paradise. There's there's sweetest. I love them all. They're
- 21:29Speaker 4: so sweet.
- 21:30Speaker 1: The funny one is, Deanna, you might not know this,
- 21:32Speaker 1: but I asked Kathy to send me texts during the concert,
- 21:38Speaker 1: and so she decided that at a loud concert, instead
- 21:42Speaker 1: of text, I'm going to do voice memos.
- 21:46Speaker 4: And when I went back and read them, I was like.
- 21:48Speaker 2: They made no sense.
- 21:53Speaker 3: To me.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I know it was just gibberish. And then I did
- 21:56Speaker 2: send you a picture.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Though I did get a picture, thank you for that.
- 22:00Speaker 4: I know I didn't see the text of the next day. Well,
- 22:02Speaker 4: I was trying to sort of be undercover, you know.
- 22:04Speaker 4: I didn't want to be sitting there poking on my
- 22:06Speaker 4: phone like I was sure.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm glad Kathy had some cooth about her. I
- 22:12Speaker 3: had no shame. I get together.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:26Speaker 1: There's a lot to come out of this, because again
- 22:28Speaker 1: I haven't talked to Mercedes. Mercedes could surprise us all
- 22:31Speaker 1: and be like, hey, after a night's rest thinking about
- 22:34Speaker 1: the date, I am open to a second date. I
- 22:38Speaker 1: recognize that this maybe wasn't the best environment. But Diana,
- 22:41Speaker 1: back to you, you were around for this first date.
- 22:45Speaker 1: You've gone on your first you know your share of
- 22:47Speaker 1: first dates. What is the standard for saying yes to
- 22:52Speaker 1: a second date like especially a first date like this
- 22:57Speaker 1: where it is chaos, there is a lot of people around,
- 23:03Speaker 1: like when would you say yes? When would you say
- 23:05Speaker 1: absolutely not?
- 23:06Speaker 3: I think we have to look at it just like
- 23:08Speaker 3: we labeled it. I would have probably taken a second
- 23:12Speaker 3: date because given the situation, you know what I mean.
- 23:15Speaker 3: But we cannot lie about that initial attraction. And if
- 23:19Speaker 3: it wasn't there for Mercedes, and I don't want to
- 23:21Speaker 3: speak for her right but if it wasn't there for her,
- 23:24Speaker 3: then she knows it's not worth it to her to
- 23:25Speaker 3: do a second date. Now, I think that Bryce, from
- 23:29Speaker 3: what I gauged from him, is that he would absolutely
- 23:31Speaker 3: do a second date. I was going to ask you,
- 23:33Speaker 3: Ben because when I Okay, so, when I interviewed him,
- 23:37Speaker 3: he full on planned that if the time was right,
- 23:40Speaker 3: he was going to try to kiss her, and he
- 23:41Speaker 3: was going to get her phone number.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Did he do that, He got her phone number, They
- 23:45Speaker 2: did not kiss.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, I don't think that she was going to
- 23:49Speaker 3: be kissing him.
- 23:51Speaker 4: So wait, I got to say two things. One is
- 23:54Speaker 4: I read somewhere if you are not repulsed by the
- 23:58Speaker 4: first date, if there's not you know, A, B and
- 24:00Speaker 4: C that are against your set of values, that you
- 24:03Speaker 4: should always go on a second date to give the
- 24:06Speaker 4: guy or the gal whatever it is, a chance. So yes,
- 24:10Speaker 4: I think unless she was completely repulsed by him, given
- 24:14Speaker 4: the circumstances of the state, I think it would be
- 24:17Speaker 4: I would encourage her to have a second date.
- 24:19Speaker 3: I think that unless there's a huge red flag. I
- 24:22Speaker 3: believe we get these gentle nudges from our own intuition
- 24:24Speaker 3: about whether something is right or wrong, and sometimes you
- 24:26Speaker 3: need a couple of those to feel something out. There's
- 24:29Speaker 3: no way you truly get to know someone in that
- 24:32Speaker 3: short period of time of a first date, let alone
- 24:34Speaker 3: the chaos of what their first date was recording a podcast.
- 24:38Speaker 3: You've got friends there, You're obviously trying to look and
- 24:40Speaker 3: be your best because you're at an event. So I
- 24:43Speaker 3: would hope that she would take a second date, but
- 24:46Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know if she will. And
- 24:49Speaker 3: there's also the other piece of like he lives in La,
- 24:51Speaker 3: she lives in Nashville. I don't know when they can
- 24:54Speaker 3: see each other again. But you know, I am hoping
- 24:58Speaker 3: for her to take a second date, and I'm hoping
- 25:00Speaker 3: it's something a little bit more traditional, just the two
- 25:02Speaker 3: of them. They maybe they go and grab a drink,
- 25:04Speaker 3: or maybe they go to dinner or something a little
- 25:05Speaker 3: bit more.
- 25:07Speaker 4: When I asked him Diana about that, well, I said
- 25:10Speaker 4: that at the top of the podcast about them dating
- 25:13Speaker 4: long distance, he told me that he goes to Nashville.
- 25:16Speaker 4: He's a music producer as a old music label. He
- 25:18Speaker 4: said that he goes to Nashville a lot. That's one
- 25:22Speaker 4: of the reasons he wasn't worried about long distance dating
- 25:24Speaker 4: because he said he spends a lot of time in Nashville.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Listen, he did a lot of things right. He made
- 25:29Speaker 3: that very clear even when we recorded in the room,
- 25:32Speaker 3: that he if he saw something there, he would make
- 25:35Speaker 3: a point to see Mercedes again. And he told us
- 25:38Speaker 3: like that's his life. He's there all the time. So
- 25:40Speaker 3: I think he was laying it up there. If she
- 25:42Speaker 3: wants it, I believe he gave her, you know, the incentive.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I think that he would do it. I do believe
- 25:49Speaker 3: that right now we are going to be relying on
- 25:51Speaker 3: what Mercedes wants because I believe that he has made
- 25:53Speaker 3: it clear that he would keep in touch, he would
- 25:56Speaker 3: see her again, he would like that she had any
- 25:59Speaker 3: qualities that he likes and that he looks for in someone.
- 26:02Speaker 3: I will say there was a red flag for me again,
- 26:05Speaker 3: I'm not dating Bryce, so mind me nothing. But when
- 26:09Speaker 3: we were talking and chatting, he shared with me that
- 26:13Speaker 3: he took a break for dating from dating for a
- 26:17Speaker 3: couple of years because he was trying to get to
- 26:19Speaker 3: know himself a little better. And he recognized that he
- 26:22Speaker 3: jumped into relationships too quickly in the past, that he
- 26:26Speaker 3: went hard and they went fast, and then within a
- 26:30Speaker 3: few months he was like, Oh, I don't really like
- 26:32Speaker 3: that person to me, given everything that I have been
- 26:35Speaker 3: through in my life, that's a red flag to me.
- 26:38Speaker 3: That's called love bombing. That's called many many you're you know,
- 26:42Speaker 3: they call it dating and dating slowly for a reason
- 26:45Speaker 3: because you miss things in the beginning due to infatuation
- 26:49Speaker 3: and sexual attraction. You miss some of those really big
- 26:53Speaker 3: things that you need in a lasting relationship. So for me, again,
- 26:58Speaker 3: I'm not dating Bryce, but I have trained myself enough
- 27:02Speaker 3: that I made some mental notes when he was sharing
- 27:04Speaker 3: those things that like, that's a red flag.
- 27:06Speaker 4: For me unless he's done the work. I mean. The
- 27:08Speaker 4: other thing is he may have done the work in
- 27:10Speaker 4: the last couple of years where he has learned to
- 27:12Speaker 4: slow it down. And who knows, I mean, you don't
- 27:14Speaker 4: even know that over she'd only know that over time
- 27:17Speaker 4: getting to know him. The only thing I want to
- 27:19Speaker 4: say about it is we have to give Mercedes some
- 27:23Speaker 4: slack here too, because these are her good friends and
- 27:27Speaker 4: they apparently did all go out after and went to
- 27:29Speaker 4: a bar, and so they're evaluating her friends are evaluating
- 27:34Speaker 4: him in real time. She's not having the time to
- 27:37Speaker 4: develop a relationship on her own. She's you know, she's
- 27:43Speaker 4: sort of reading what, you know, what her friends are
- 27:46Speaker 4: saying about them about him. And I think that's tough too.
- 27:49Speaker 4: I think that's hard.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I think, yeah, I think this.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Would have been a difficult place for him to come
- 27:56Speaker 1: out of this unscathed. Because of that, your friends are
- 28:00Speaker 1: going to be critical.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Now.
- 28:02Speaker 1: They're also going to be very supportive, but they're they're protective.
- 28:05Speaker 1: They're gonna be critical, especially as the night wanes on
- 28:07Speaker 1: and drinks are flowing and you know, you're stuck in traffic,
- 28:12Speaker 1: like your friends are gonna get critical. They're going to
- 28:14Speaker 1: start to really try to protect you. I think it's
- 28:16Speaker 1: a hard place to win over. I mean, goodness, I
- 28:20Speaker 1: hope people listening. I give a ton of support behind
- 28:24Speaker 1: Bryce and Mercedes. They said yes to this. It's not
- 28:27Speaker 1: like we're coming out of this being like, goodness, gracious,
- 28:29Speaker 1: what a terrible guy? Or wow, Mercedes, no wonder you're
- 28:32Speaker 1: you know, you're single. Like they're both doing great, and
- 28:36Speaker 1: that's the beauty of this experience is we get to
- 28:39Speaker 1: hear why things work and why things don't, and sometimes
- 28:42Speaker 1: be surprised when they work, and then also be surprised
- 28:46Speaker 1: when they don't work. I mean, he's a handsome man,
- 28:49Speaker 1: he was kind.
- 28:50Speaker 3: They were dressed similar, Ben, like, they showed up and
- 28:54Speaker 3: their vibe was the same. She was wearing a black
- 28:56Speaker 3: silk dress and he was wearing a black silk blouse.
- 29:01Speaker 2: That wasn't good for.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Them deeply unbuttoned.
- 29:04Speaker 4: I was going to say his blouse, his shirt was
- 29:08Speaker 4: deeply unbuttoned, and she was buttoned up. So yeah, there
- 29:11Speaker 4: was that. I have to tell you why when they're
- 29:13Speaker 4: in our hotel room. The girls before they all went
- 29:17Speaker 4: out to the bar after the date, they were just
- 29:20Speaker 4: I was laughing. I mean again, you know, alcohol probably
- 29:23Speaker 4: had been involved a little bit. They were saying. I mean,
- 29:26Speaker 4: the guys got on a silk shirt and then somebody said, no,
- 29:29Speaker 4: it's polyesterro I'm like, really do we care? And it
- 29:31Speaker 4: was unbuttoned, I mean, come on, button up your shirt.
- 29:34Speaker 4: And I just sat there laughing.
- 29:35Speaker 3: I had to look back at the photos when and
- 29:38Speaker 3: I have to send them to you, Ben so that
- 29:40Speaker 3: you can see them. Because I took a video to
- 29:41Speaker 3: of their initial meat. But I don't remember his button
- 29:45Speaker 3: being undone that far.
- 29:46Speaker 4: When they were in the suite for sure, well or.
- 29:50Speaker 3: When we started the podcast. I don't remember seeing that
- 29:54Speaker 3: much cleavage on him.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I've got a hairy chest. That would be kind of cool.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Look for me, though, born star like it'd be awesome.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I question everything about you, Ben, I'm.
- 30:05Speaker 4: Gonna say, Ben, that's just that just doesn't even I
- 30:07Speaker 4: don't want to imagine.
- 30:08Speaker 2: It does it for some? Yeah? It does it for some.
- 30:11Speaker 1: This is a really fascinating time because obviously we got
- 30:14Speaker 1: to speak to Bryce, we got to speak to.
- 30:16Speaker 2: The two of you. We're gonna speak to Mercedes.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I think the big like takeaway from this so far
- 30:25Speaker 1: is that he did in a fact in a sense,
- 30:28Speaker 1: I'm hearing what you're saying, Diana, and I'm hearing what
- 30:31Speaker 1: you're saying, Kathyen. I'm like, the best thing that happened
- 30:33Speaker 1: to Bryce. If Bryce listens to this, which I'm guessing
- 30:35Speaker 1: you will, is to do a long distance relationship because
- 30:38Speaker 1: it forces things to slow down. It does it forces
- 30:43Speaker 1: the pace to get to a level from that euphoric
- 30:46Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I can't imagine not spending an evening
- 30:50Speaker 1: with you from like night one. Here's a red flag
- 30:54Speaker 1: for me, though, to interrupt myself in my life, there
- 30:59Speaker 1: is some standards for first dates, right, Like I don't
- 31:02Speaker 1: need to be sleeping with the person on the first date.
- 31:04Speaker 1: That's not necessarily a win for anybody, especially if I
- 31:08Speaker 1: want to see them again. That's never been a good
- 31:10Speaker 1: start to a relationship for me. A kiss acceptable, you know,
- 31:16Speaker 1: but a kiss can be a kiss, and it's a
- 31:18Speaker 1: nice like goodbye, cannot wait to see again. I might
- 31:20Speaker 1: even see you tomorrow night. If you're up for it,
- 31:22Speaker 1: we'll go out to dinner. However, my lesson that I've
- 31:26Speaker 1: learned over the years is you just say goodbye a
- 31:29Speaker 1: little earlier than you think you should, because if the
- 31:32Speaker 1: other person isn't feeling it, or they're tired, or they
- 31:35Speaker 1: were nervous, and now they're just like relieved that they
- 31:38Speaker 1: did this first date thing, it gives them the space
- 31:41Speaker 1: to say, hey, that was awesome, leaving them wanting more.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I do think a red flag was this kind of
- 31:49Speaker 1: I'm going to now go out with your friends to
- 31:50Speaker 1: the bar till two am. Just in my life, that
- 31:53Speaker 1: just feels like an easy Hey, I'll let you guys
- 31:55Speaker 1: go have fun.
- 31:56Speaker 2: I'm going to go home.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I think you said it perfectly. Just then, just then,
- 32:03Speaker 3: there was a part where he needed to be aware
- 32:09Speaker 3: of his surroundings and allow her the moment to just
- 32:12Speaker 3: be with her friends and politely see himself out.
- 32:16Speaker 4: I'm gonna, I'm gonna. I'm going to say I disagree
- 32:20Speaker 4: with both of you. I think it is as much
- 32:22Speaker 4: on Mercedes to say, hey, this has been a lovely date. Uh,
- 32:28Speaker 4: you know, it's been great seeing you. We can talk again.
- 32:31Speaker 4: But I'm here with my friends and I haven't seen them,
- 32:34Speaker 4: and let's let's talk again tomorrow or a week from
- 32:37Speaker 4: tomorrow or never again. But I'm going to place the
- 32:40Speaker 4: onus just as much on her to end the date
- 32:43Speaker 4: as him, and she couldn't. When she was in my
- 32:45Speaker 4: hotel room, she said, I don't know what to say.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Eyes Kathy.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I don't disagree with you, but we've all been married here, right, Like,
- 32:55Speaker 1: don't make it the other person's problem. What I'm saying
- 32:57Speaker 1: is be aware enough to not put it on the
- 33:00Speaker 1: other person to have to be the one to say something,
- 33:04Speaker 1: even if it felt like hey, early and gone it's
- 33:08Speaker 1: it's it's actually a really good I think play.
- 33:12Speaker 3: It could have benefited him well. To do that. Less
- 33:16Speaker 3: is more sometimes leave room for her wanting more. As
- 33:20Speaker 3: much as we hate to say that there are games
- 33:22Speaker 3: in dating, there are. We all want to be desired.
- 33:26Speaker 3: We want there to be some attraction. You want them
- 33:28Speaker 3: to leave wanting more.
- 33:31Speaker 4: Because we don't know, you know, we don't know. Maybe
- 33:34Speaker 4: the other guys, you know, Zach all the.
- 33:37Speaker 3: No doubt, Kathy, I won't assume what they were thinking.
- 33:40Speaker 3: I highly doubt know.
- 33:41Speaker 4: I'm just gonna say, maybe they said, hey, come on,
- 33:43Speaker 4: we're gonna go to the bar, come with it. I mean,
- 33:45Speaker 4: I don't I doubt it. I doubt it.
- 33:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with I doubt it.
- 33:48Speaker 1: For the women out there listening, I will say there
- 33:52Speaker 1: would be something very attractive to me on a first date,
- 33:56Speaker 1: even second day, even today in my marriage. If we
- 34:00Speaker 1: all go out to dinner and we're hanging out and
- 34:02Speaker 1: the guys are saying, hey, let's go to the sports bar,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'd love to go, and my wife
- 34:08Speaker 1: or my girlfriend at the time and be like, you guys,
- 34:10Speaker 1: go have fun.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Ben.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I can't wait to see when you get home or Ben,
- 34:13Speaker 1: I hope that we have a date tomorrow night or
- 34:15Speaker 1: the next night, whenever you're available. Like there is something
- 34:19Speaker 1: attractive about just being aware enough to say, Hey, I
- 34:24Speaker 1: know you like me. I know you love being around me,
- 34:26Speaker 1: but that doesn't mean that I have to be around
- 34:29Speaker 1: all the time. Hey, we got to close up here.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'll give you each thirty seconds. Final thoughts on witnessing
- 34:38Speaker 1: and being the Spies for the first date, Kathy will
- 34:40Speaker 1: start with you.
- 34:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I missed my calling. I think the
- 34:43Speaker 4: CIA would have been a good place for me. I
- 34:46Speaker 4: just have to find them. I know. I thought it
- 34:49Speaker 4: was great to sort of watch from a distance, not
- 34:51Speaker 4: being a participant, watching what was going on. And I
- 34:56Speaker 4: guess my wish is for anyone who's out there dating,
- 35:01Speaker 4: give it a chance. Be calm it. You know, you
- 35:04Speaker 4: don't have to conquer the world on the first date.
- 35:07Speaker 4: So I hope that Mercedes will give it a second shot,
- 35:12Speaker 4: because I think that you just sometimes you don't know.
- 35:15Speaker 4: Sometimes it takes a little bit of time to warm up,
- 35:18Speaker 4: and it was not the most easy dating. You know,
- 35:22Speaker 4: to date someone at a concert is not the easiest
- 35:24Speaker 4: first date.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm with you, Kathy, I would one hundred percent
- 35:29Speaker 3: agree with what you say. I hope Mercedes will give
- 35:32Speaker 3: it a second date. I really do. And I hope
- 35:33Speaker 3: the two of them can just go to dinner next
- 35:36Speaker 3: time he's in Nashville for work, or at least a
- 35:38Speaker 3: phone call, a FaceTime or something to be able to speak.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Because I, from an outsider, believe that it was a
- 35:45Speaker 3: great first date. I think that they were both engaged,
- 35:49Speaker 3: They treated each other well, they got to know each other,
- 35:52Speaker 3: they found things in common, and we don't always have
- 35:56Speaker 3: to lead with that initial physical chemistry. Sometimes that needs
- 36:02Speaker 3: to grow and you need to find other things in common.
- 36:05Speaker 3: So I'm with you, Kathy. I do hope that they
- 36:07Speaker 3: go on a second date. I hope that they can
- 36:10Speaker 3: figure that out from there. That would be my hope.
- 36:12Speaker 3: I think it was a great first date, Benjamin, good.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Job, hey, crushing it over here. I will say this also.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I mean it when I say this, Bryce and Mercedes.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I think it took courage. I think you're both great.
- 36:25Speaker 1: If you're not meant for each other, you're gonna be
- 36:28Speaker 1: catchius to people. This is just the fun part of
- 36:31Speaker 1: breaking down an individual relationship at an individual time in
- 36:35Speaker 1: a very uncomfortable scenario, but I do think my hope
- 36:39Speaker 1: is they both came out of it being like, I'm
- 36:40Speaker 1: glad I did it. It was worth the effort, it
- 36:43Speaker 1: was worth the time, worth the evening, and we think
- 36:46Speaker 1: you're both great. Hey, this is famously available breaking down
- 36:50Speaker 1: with my spies for this date. Deanna and Kathy. They
- 36:52Speaker 1: are good at this. In fact, I do think they
- 36:56Speaker 1: might have a job at this. This would be a
- 36:58Speaker 1: really fun career path for the two of them. Anyways,
- 37:02Speaker 1: we're gonna be talking to Mercedes, we talked to Bryce.
- 37:04Speaker 1: We're gonna be talking to a lot of people about
- 37:06Speaker 1: this day, figuring out the dues, the don'ts, the ones,
- 37:09Speaker 1: the needs, the red flags, the green flags, and everything
- 37:12Speaker 1: good and bad that happens in dating.
- 37:13Speaker 2: So until next time, I've been Ben, We'll talk to
- 37:15Speaker 2: you soon.
