- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know just after six o'clock
- 0:03Speaker 1: here on this Wednesday morning, Thank you for starting your
- 0:05Speaker 1: day with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Benson Boone did not get a nomination for Grammy this year,
- 0:11Speaker 2: but he did one over everyone's hearts with the humor
- 0:15Speaker 2: that he had about it. He had some fun with
- 0:17Speaker 2: it by posting a selfie to his Instagram Stories with
- 0:19Speaker 2: a caption that said quote, can't believe Moonbeam ice Cream
- 0:23Speaker 2: didn't get a Grammy gnom. It's literally pure lyrical genius.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Lots of people people consider this a snub considering his
- 0:32Speaker 2: album American Heart debuted at number two, and obviously Mystical
- 0:37Speaker 2: Magical has been everywhere, so everyone's kind of upset. Who's
- 0:40Speaker 2: a fan of Benzaboon? I'm a little upset. I love Benson,
- 0:44Speaker 2: but it's nice to see that he's got some humor
- 0:46Speaker 2: about it and he's not, you know, two in his fields.
- 0:50Speaker 2: National Scenes Taco Week is back December eighth to the
- 0:53Speaker 2: fourteenth six dollar taco specials all week long at some
- 0:57Speaker 2: of your favorite spots, as well as some places that
- 0:59Speaker 2: you probably wouldn't expect to ever serve tacos as well.
- 1:02Speaker 2: You get to vote on the Best Taco of twenty
- 1:05Speaker 2: twenty five after you've tried them. Places like Taco Bamba, Bakersfield,
- 1:10Speaker 2: Punk Walk, and Tea Line are all making special tacos
- 1:13Speaker 2: for the event. If you want some more information on
- 1:16Speaker 2: the restaurants and how to vote, it's all up at
- 1:17Speaker 2: National Scenes website.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Ladybor Taco and I actually.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Didn't see their name on the list. I don't know
- 1:24Speaker 2: if they're and I could have just missed it, so
- 1:26Speaker 2: don't take my word for it. There's a bunch of
- 1:29Speaker 2: different places that are doing this. Jello is celebrating it's
- 1:33Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty fifth anniversary with a little Thanksgiving fun.
- 1:36Speaker 2: They're turning Thanksgiving sides into Geladin desserts. So to clarify here,
- 1:41Speaker 2: they're not putting these items inside Jello. They're just making
- 1:45Speaker 2: the jello look like these food items. So they've made
- 1:48Speaker 2: Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and pea Camphi gel modes so
- 1:53Speaker 2: you can do your jello to look like Brussels sprouts,
- 1:56Speaker 2: which is kind of cute. The limited edition no thanks
- 1:59Speaker 2: Thanksgiving molds are available at Walmart starting uh yesterday. They're
- 2:03Speaker 2: all five dollars and a kit includes a mold and
- 2:05Speaker 2: a box of Jello, which I think is super affordable
- 2:08Speaker 2: and a cute way to do this. You don't need
- 2:10Speaker 2: to mix these insane flavors that no one would ever
- 2:12Speaker 2: actually eat.
- 2:13Speaker 1: That's what I was gonna say. This is a food combo.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I can sort of get behind it.
- 2:16Speaker 2: This makes sense. I'm very happy with Jello over this.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I'm Ricky Sanchez. And those are the three things you
- 2:21Speaker 2: need to know.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Ricky. Hey, Ricky. And a few minues,
- 2:23Speaker 1: we're gonna play Alvia Dean. I know you're a big
- 2:25Speaker 1: Olivia Dean. Yeah, you're gonna play man excited coming up
- 2:29Speaker 1: in a few minutes. Here Also tickets to lamez at
- 2:31Speaker 1: tea pack. We've got those again this morning for the
- 2:33Speaker 1: first caller of the day. Be here in about ten
- 2:35Speaker 1: minutes to get.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Him one O seven five the River.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Nicky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Seven five the River. Let's say good morning to Christy
- 2:43Speaker 1: calling for Murphy's Burrow. How are you doing, Christy?
- 2:46Speaker 4: I'm doing well.
- 2:47Speaker 5: How about yourself?
- 2:48Speaker 1: I cannot complain today, Ricky Zach. Any complaints to.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Lotch, no complaints. We're pretty good.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Christy, you sound like pumped up and ready to go
- 2:56Speaker 2: today too.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Well, I don't know about that, but I gotta get rid,
- 3:00Speaker 5: need to go deal with some third graders this morning.
- 3:02Speaker 2: So okay, So you're mentally preparing and you're like, okay,
- 3:05Speaker 2: gotta get gotta get excited.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Yeah, yes, yeah, Christy, I have a question. In third grade?
- 3:13Speaker 6: Do they still get naps?
- 3:14Speaker 7: Like?
- 3:14Speaker 6: When do those end? In school?
- 3:16Speaker 2: That's actually they don't even have those anymore, not even
- 3:20Speaker 2: in kindergarten. Kindergarteners still get naps. No, I'm sorry, what, No,
- 3:25Speaker 2: they don't.
- 3:26Speaker 6: I'm not gonna lie.
- 3:27Speaker 8: When I was a senior in high school, I was like,
- 3:28Speaker 8: I deserve a nap more than these kindergarteners. Like I
- 3:31Speaker 8: just took ap calculus. My head hurts, I need a nap.
- 3:34Speaker 8: Why do these little brats get a nap?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Wow? I know I taking out on the kids.
- 3:40Speaker 6: Christy, you deserve a nap too.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I feel like everyone should get naps, let's put it
- 3:44Speaker 2: that way.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Okay.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I'm shocked to hear the kindergarteners don't get naps anymore.
- 3:48Speaker 2: That was obviously everybody's favorite time of the day.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I have a grandson that doesn't get a.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Nap, he's got cranky by the time he gets home.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Yeah, very tired.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm cranky when I finish my job.
- 4:04Speaker 6: So I can only imagine when you finish your job, Kevin.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Kevin, I do get to a point where I'm like,
- 4:13Speaker 2: I need a nap. That's normal.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, sure. Hey, Chris, do you want to go
- 4:20Speaker 1: to Lame Missit tea pack in January?
- 4:22Speaker 5: I would love to go to Lamis's.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I've never seen it before.
- 4:25Speaker 5: That would be so perfect.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Well, you're the first color of the day. I want
- 4:27Speaker 2: to sevent five of the river. So you're getting those tickets.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 4:31Speaker 5: I'm so excited.
- 4:32Speaker 2: You are so welcome. We're excited for you your energy.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I know that you're like trying to prep for the
- 4:37Speaker 2: day and get ready for it. Your energy has been great.
- 4:39Speaker 2: It's honestly, it's woken me up. Yeah, so we appreciate it.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Well, you're welcome.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's nice to talk to you, and thank you for
- 4:48Speaker 1: shaping the youth's minds. Yes, we appreciate what you're doing.
- 4:53Speaker 9: Thank you guys for cheering me up every morning.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Oh that was so sweet.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach and manow in the Morning.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Ricky and Zach, I have a moment of sincerity out
- 5:07Speaker 1: of me here in a second. I want to run
- 5:09Speaker 1: something by you guys, something that I think I'm gonna
- 5:11Speaker 1: do here in the near future that is out a
- 5:13Speaker 1: character for me, and it's the first time I've ever
- 5:15Speaker 1: done it.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Does this involve us?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Not really, but kind of because I need you guys
- 5:19Speaker 1: to like sort of keep me accountable.
- 5:21Speaker 6: I'm so scared of what this could possibly be.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Scared for sure, keep you accountable. Thank you yelling when
- 5:27Speaker 2: you do something that you're not supposed to do.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Yes, exactly you've done, Zach, don't be scared. It's a
- 5:32Speaker 1: good thing. Right after Alex Warren, I'll tell you what's
- 5:34Speaker 1: going on for.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.
- 5:37Speaker 2: On Kevin Kevin, Kevin, what could this possibly be about?
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's Ricky, Zach and Manno in the Morning on one
- 5:44Speaker 2: oh seven five the River. Kevin said that I have
- 5:46Speaker 2: permission to yell at him because I need to hold
- 5:48Speaker 2: him accountable as well as Zach need to hold him
- 5:51Speaker 2: acountable about something that he's going to try to do.
- 5:53Speaker 1: So what is that this kind of honestly saying this
- 5:55Speaker 1: out loud is committing that I'm going to do the thing.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So this is a big moment for me. I've never
- 6:00Speaker 1: done this before. I don't know if either of you
- 6:01Speaker 1: have ever done this before. But what I think Kevin
- 6:04Speaker 1: Dry January.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I did drive January.
- 6:07Speaker 1: That seems so Disappointeduary. I don't even remember that you
- 6:12Speaker 1: did the whole you did that. Yeah, then you had
- 6:16Speaker 1: you had like a birthday party at the end of
- 6:17Speaker 1: the month. Maybe you were like, you failed by one day.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I did by one day. By one day, I failed,
- 6:23Speaker 2: but I went the entire month. And then that one
- 6:26Speaker 2: day I was like, you know what, it's whatever, I'll
- 6:30Speaker 2: do it. Yeah, I want.
- 6:33Speaker 1: My wife and I think we're both gonna we're both
- 6:35Speaker 1: gonna try because we like to have a cocktail, you know,
- 6:37Speaker 1: most days every day, and so you know, sometimes I'll
- 6:42Speaker 1: tell myself, like, just go a few days without drinking,
- 6:43Speaker 1: just to make sure you're still you know, you got
- 6:45Speaker 1: all your faculties and then you're still in control. And yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and so doing it for an entire month, I feel
- 6:49Speaker 1: like is a big step for me. And uh, you know,
- 6:51Speaker 1: I'd like to drink less. And yeah, I'm gonna I'm
- 6:53Speaker 1: gonna give it a shot.
- 6:54Speaker 2: It is not easy. I will tell you that right now.
- 6:56Speaker 2: But what you will see is at the end of it,
- 6:59Speaker 2: you feel so good. Yeah, you feel amazing, and you're like,
- 7:03Speaker 2: oh no, all the doctors are right.
- 7:05Speaker 6: This is bad for me.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Yeah, and probably some money too.
- 7:10Speaker 6: You will save a lot of money.
- 7:12Speaker 8: So my boyfriend did a couple of years ago, and
- 7:14Speaker 8: he did drive January and ended up lasting like three
- 7:17Speaker 8: or four months because he was like, I just feel
- 7:19Speaker 8: so good that I don't want to ruin it now.
- 7:21Speaker 2: See, I feel so.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Good, I'm already looking forward to February. First.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That makes sense because you haven't started yet. But once
- 7:29Speaker 2: you like actually get to the end, you're like, oh
- 7:31Speaker 2: this as it's not as bad as you think it is,
- 7:34Speaker 2: Like you work it up in your head to be
- 7:35Speaker 2: worse than it's going to be. But it is hard.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Like that. With that being said, it is difficult. I
- 7:41Speaker 2: can give you some tips and tricks and I will
- 7:42Speaker 2: for sure hold you accountable.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Yeah, do please do? I need you guys to be
- 7:46Speaker 1: my accountability partners here.
- 7:47Speaker 8: That just means that you can't lie to us. So
- 7:49Speaker 8: every morning when you come in and we ask you.
- 7:51Speaker 8: You can't lie, Kevin, I won of course I'm not
- 7:53Speaker 8: a liar.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Also, you can text us when you feel like you
- 7:56Speaker 2: want to have a drink and you shouldn't, so that
- 7:58Speaker 2: we can yell at you not.
- 7:59Speaker 1: To ready for some texts. I appreciate you three things
- 8:05Speaker 1: you need to know just past seven o'clock you're on
- 8:07Speaker 1: this Wednesday morning. We really appreciate just starting your day
- 8:10Speaker 1: with us. Ricky's got those three things.
- 8:12Speaker 2: The Senate has voted to pass a short term funding
- 8:14Speaker 2: bill that would reopen the government.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Uh.
- 8:17Speaker 2: This would end the shutdown that has now run for
- 8:19Speaker 2: more than forty days, making it the longest government shutdown.
- 8:22Speaker 2: This new agreement funds some of the government through January
- 8:26Speaker 2: thirtieth of next year. It ensures backpay for federal employees
- 8:30Speaker 2: and reverses recent mass layoffs, as well as secure as
- 8:33Speaker 2: funding for certain programs, including SNAP. With this passage in
- 8:37Speaker 2: the Senate, the legislation now moves to the House of Representatives,
- 8:40Speaker 2: where they could convene as reconvene as early as today
- 8:44Speaker 2: to vote on this, So we will see how that goes.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Experts say that if this does pass, it's going to
- 8:50Speaker 2: take some time for paychecks to resume, funding to be
- 8:53Speaker 2: distributed and for air travel operations to stabilize. So fingers
- 8:58Speaker 2: crossed that something happens. I know this has been really
- 9:01Speaker 2: hard on a lot of families and we hate to
- 9:04Speaker 2: see that. So I'll keep you updated on if this
- 9:07Speaker 2: works out and what happens next, and hopefully you know,
- 9:12Speaker 2: everybody's okay for the holidays. I keep thinking it just
- 9:14Speaker 2: about like everybody in general, and then adding the holidays
- 9:17Speaker 2: to it. It's just what a mess.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I mean, Thanksgiving, travel, the whole all.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah, Christmas travel, everything. Yeah, it's just it's and I
- 9:24Speaker 2: can't imagine working and not getting paid for it for
- 9:27Speaker 2: so long. That's tough too. Season four of the Traders
- 9:31Speaker 2: drops January eighth. Peacock gave us a little tease of
- 9:34Speaker 2: the new season. It's going to be uh so, I said,
- 9:39Speaker 2: like I said, January eighth, contestants have already been announced,
- 9:43Speaker 2: so we kind of have an idea of what to expect.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Donna Kelcey, Lisa, Renna, Colton Underwood are all going to
- 9:50Speaker 2: be a part of this season. They said, this is
- 9:53Speaker 2: your official warning. There's gonna be a lot of treachery
- 9:55Speaker 2: happening this season, which is the whole point of the Traders.
- 9:58Speaker 2: But this one, I guess is gonna be even juicier
- 10:00Speaker 2: than ever before. So mark your calendars and blue aster
- 10:04Speaker 2: inside the Conrad Nashville is doing Grinch miss Afternoon Tea,
- 10:08Speaker 2: So if you're in the Christmas spirit already, every Friday,
- 10:10Speaker 2: Saturday and Sunday from one to three pm, you can
- 10:13Speaker 2: get a beautifully displayed group of food alongside teas. You
- 10:19Speaker 2: have an option for champagne, non alcoholic beverages, tea infused cocktails,
- 10:23Speaker 2: all with the Grinch himself. They've decked out the area.
- 10:27Speaker 2: It's got the whole hue Ville vibe, festive decor, twinkling lights.
- 10:31Speaker 2: It's very christmas ey. You can make a reservation right
- 10:34Speaker 2: now and open table for ninety five dollars a guest.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I'm Sanchez, And those are the three things you need
- 10:39Speaker 2: to know.
- 10:39Speaker 1: You like feel like a kinship with the Grinch, like
- 10:41Speaker 1: a special bond between you.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Oh, yes, the Grinch and I are one. You guys
- 10:44Speaker 2: are They're one and the same.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Yes, you can destroyed Christmas that you would, Yes, and
- 10:48Speaker 1: with all of.
- 10:49Speaker 2: The Christmas things coming out, this is one hundred percent
- 10:52Speaker 2: my vibe. Like a Grinch miss afternoon tea.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yes, please, still waiting for that heart to grow three sizes,
- 10:57Speaker 1: but hopefully one give me wait in a while. That's
- 11:00Speaker 1: Miles Smith. Thank you for that.
- 11:01Speaker 7: Ricky.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Right after this song, We're gonna learn, it's time for
- 11:03Speaker 1: zack'sbacks next down the River.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Meno in the Morning on one
- 11:08Speaker 4: O seven the River.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Happy Wednesday. It's time for Zach's fax on one oh
- 11:12Speaker 2: seven five the River.
- 11:13Speaker 8: Okay, so this is kind of wild to think about,
- 11:15Speaker 8: but you guys know, Somber he was just the musical
- 11:17Speaker 8: guest on Saturday Night Live. Is apparently he was born
- 11:21Speaker 8: in two thousand and five and Keenan Thompson joined SNL
- 11:24Speaker 8: in two thousand and three, So Somber has never known
- 11:27Speaker 8: a day in the life without Keenan Thompson on SNL.
- 11:30Speaker 2: He's so young.
- 11:32Speaker 8: Yeah, he's just a baby, but he's never known a
- 11:34Speaker 8: day without Keenan Thompson on SNL.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Is not he's been there so long.
- 11:39Speaker 8: Yeah, he joined in two thousand and three, so a
- 11:41Speaker 8: long time. And there's your fact of the day.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Thanks Zach.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning on one
- 11:48Speaker 4: O seven five the River.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Tell us your latest HOA drama on one oh seven
- 11:53Speaker 2: five the River. This is coming up because we just
- 11:55Speaker 2: found out our friend here in the office, uh, found
- 11:59Speaker 2: out that there was embezzlement happening with his HOA company.
- 12:03Speaker 2: They just took thousands of dollars, like a lot of money,
- 12:07Speaker 2: a lot of money and just dipped out. And now
- 12:10Speaker 2: they're like, oh, what are we supposed to do? Which
- 12:15Speaker 2: I think is the biggest HOA drama that you could
- 12:18Speaker 2: ever hear of. But we know there's like some smaller
- 12:20Speaker 2: stuff that goes on between these ha groups on Facebook
- 12:24Speaker 2: and stuff like that, and we want to.
- 12:25Speaker 6: Hear about it.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, like you know, can't grow this tree here,
- 12:29Speaker 1: he can't put up these decorations. All that stuff is
- 12:31Speaker 1: what I'm used to. Yeah, not quite embezzlement Si seven
- 12:35Speaker 1: three seven nine one seven. Any HOA drama you have,
- 12:38Speaker 1: we want to hear from one Si the River.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Heiky, Zach and Man in the morning.
- 12:43Speaker 2: We're talking about HOA drama today on one oh seven
- 12:45Speaker 2: five the River because our friend just found out that
- 12:48Speaker 2: there's embezzlement happening with his HOA company. They took thousands
- 12:52Speaker 2: and thousands of dollars I think they only have what
- 12:54Speaker 2: is it, thirty six thousand dollars.
- 12:56Speaker 6: Six thousand left and they're operating.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Five It's crazy. Blew our mind, Zach and I wish
- 13:00Speaker 2: you could have seen our face yesterday when we heard
- 13:02Speaker 2: about this. But Bobby and Goodletsville tell us about your
- 13:05Speaker 2: drama with your HOA.
- 13:07Speaker 9: So I have to say my drama with the HOA
- 13:09Speaker 9: is actually good drama for the HOA. I'm over in
- 13:13Speaker 9: the woodwind Hills and Braxton HOA over by Publics t DOT.
- 13:19Speaker 9: The Tennessee Department of Transportation has just taken out all
- 13:23Speaker 9: of the trees between the interstate and the neighborhood, so
- 13:28Speaker 9: you can now see. No, it's terrible. You can see
- 13:31Speaker 9: the interstate. It's like an arms throw from the back
- 13:35Speaker 9: of these houses. And I have to say the HOA
- 13:39Speaker 9: actually has gotten.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Meetings with t.
- 13:42Speaker 9: DOT and made us able.
- 13:43Speaker 6: To talk to them.
- 13:44Speaker 9: I don't think they're gonna help, but the HOA did
- 13:47Speaker 9: help out for us.
- 13:47Speaker 2: They're doing what they're supposed to do. That's good.
- 13:50Speaker 9: It's good. It's really terrible what they've done with the trees.
- 13:54Speaker 9: It's quite astonishing, but the HOA is at least doing
- 13:58Speaker 9: their part.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I think you're the only person in who's actually praised
- 14:01Speaker 2: and said something good about their HOA, and I think
- 14:04Speaker 2: you're really lucky.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Are you a part of the HOA? You have to
- 14:07Speaker 1: tell us no, I'm not a part of the HOA.
- 14:09Speaker 9: I think one of the hoas had their financial director
- 14:12Speaker 9: kicked out for some some embezzlement type stuff too, But
- 14:16Speaker 9: they're helping out here.
- 14:17Speaker 2: One point for the HOA company that you got.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Bobby, thanks for sharing that with us, buddy, have a great.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Day, Thank you so much. All right, Alia, nasheall tell
- 14:28Speaker 2: us what's going on with your HOA drama.
- 14:30Speaker 10: This has been going on for almost three years. Obviously,
- 14:33Speaker 10: we're not allowed to have trailers parked in our neighborhood.
- 14:36Speaker 10: It's against the HOA policy. Okay to anyone that does
- 14:40Speaker 10: have a trailer gets a find. But the president of
- 14:43Speaker 10: the HOA has the biggest trailer parked in front of
- 14:46Speaker 10: her house and no one can say anything because she
- 14:49Speaker 10: was the president.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Woah no, no, no, no no. I would say something
- 14:53Speaker 2: every single day. I would be such a menace to
- 14:56Speaker 2: that woman.
- 14:58Speaker 10: I have I've been trying. I've been I think email
- 15:00Speaker 10: that she gets away with it all.
- 15:02Speaker 8: When is the next ho A meeting because Ricky and
- 15:04Speaker 8: I will show up and fit.
- 15:08Speaker 10: It's actually in January in the church. I'm planning on going.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Well, good, you gotta go because you need to make
- 15:13Speaker 2: your voice heard. I h oay is. I don't understand
- 15:16Speaker 2: that it's not really a thing where I come from
- 15:18Speaker 2: in Jersey. But like the stories that I hear, like
- 15:22Speaker 2: this the abuse of power, Yeah, it's exactly as Oh
- 15:27Speaker 2: my god, I hate to hear that. I hope that
- 15:29Speaker 2: you go to that meeting you get a bunch of
- 15:31Speaker 2: people behind you. If you don't have a bunch of people.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Zach and I are going to pretend like we live
- 15:35Speaker 2: there and we'll be here back.
- 15:36Speaker 6: We will absolutely be here. I think we're joking Ali.
- 15:39Speaker 10: We will be there.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Well, good luck, man, thank you for calling, and we'll
- 15:45Speaker 1: see you in January.
- 15:45Speaker 10: Thank you all, take care, bye bye.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Y'all.
- 15:49Speaker 1: You guys should start a business where you just go
- 15:51Speaker 1: and like raise hell.
- 15:52Speaker 2: That's a really good idea.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Okay, deal, there's no trouble for hire or something.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Kevin, you have never been smarter in this moment.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Right now, one River, Ricky, Zach and Minnow.
- 16:05Speaker 2: And Matt Rife is coming to Bridgetone Arena on October
- 16:07Speaker 2: twenty fourth. Next year, it's going to be a big show.
- 16:11Speaker 2: We have those tickets for you if you win Kevin
- 16:12Speaker 2: Manno's Game of the Day on one oh seven five
- 16:14Speaker 2: the River. We're playing topical trivia this week.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yes we are an Amber is on the line right now,
- 16:19Speaker 1: High Amber, Hi, tell us about your morning so far.
- 16:22Speaker 1: If you had your coffee, do you feel awake?
- 16:24Speaker 5: Yes, ready to go?
- 16:26Speaker 2: You sound a little nervous, though.
- 16:29Speaker 7: Not really no, okay, good, okay, just.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Wanting to make sure you sound a little nervous at first.
- 16:33Speaker 2: You're starting to sound a little more peppy and excited,
- 16:35Speaker 2: so that's good.
- 16:36Speaker 1: If you get two out of three of these questions
- 16:38Speaker 1: right the Matt Rife tickets are yours, Amber. Topical Trivia starts.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Right now, all right.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Last night What ABC TV show celebrated its twentieth anniversary
- 16:50Speaker 1: a live twentieth birthday party for what show.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Dancing with Ya?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Did you watch it?
- 16:57Speaker 2: Oh?
- 17:00Speaker 5: Not all of it, but some of it.
- 17:02Speaker 6: It was good. I watched the whole thing. It was awesome.
- 17:04Speaker 5: I didn't get a chance to see all of it,
- 17:06Speaker 5: but that's okay. I got it recorded.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You get this one you win. The sequel to Wicked
- 17:12Speaker 1: will be in theaters later this month. What is the
- 17:14Speaker 1: title of that sequel?
- 17:18Speaker 4: Oh, goodness, I don't know. No, guess, No, I don't know.
- 17:25Speaker 1: That's okay, called Wicked for good Oh?
- 17:29Speaker 7: Okay, all right, you.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Got a point. You gotta get this one though, right
- 17:32Speaker 2: in order to win.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Okay, it's another movie question. We just got a teaser
- 17:37Speaker 1: trailer for the new Toy Story movie. It's coming in
- 17:40Speaker 1: twenty twenty six. What number movie in the series? Will
- 17:43Speaker 1: this be.
- 17:49Speaker 10: Two?
- 17:50Speaker 1: No, there's been more than two.
- 17:52Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 17:54Speaker 2: How many, is there? Kevin?
- 17:56Speaker 1: This was the fifth one.
- 17:57Speaker 5: The fifth one?
- 17:59Speaker 2: Sorry, Amber, it's okay, thank you, all.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Right, thanks for being here. Now we turn to Brandy
- 18:05Speaker 1: in Manchester. How you feeling, Brandy?
- 18:07Speaker 5: I'm nervous.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Sorry, don't be nervous. Yes, so the focus on the happiness.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Here we go. You get two out of three of
- 18:12Speaker 1: these questions, right the ticket? Three years This past weekend, Outcast,
- 18:17Speaker 1: Cindi Lauper and the White Stripes were all honored at
- 18:20Speaker 1: what ceremony.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Rock and roll Hall of Yeah.
- 18:25Speaker 1: All right, one point, another music related question. You get this,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you win. What musical siblings have a new Christmas movie
- 18:33Speaker 1: coming to Disney Plus Yeah wow two for two. Nice
- 18:42Speaker 1: shout you crushed that you're going to see Matt Rife.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Oh my god, thank you so much.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Yes, three things you need to know.
- 18:49Speaker 1: A bit past eight o'clock here on this Wednesday morning. Up,
- 18:52Speaker 1: we're having a great day. Let's make it an even
- 18:54Speaker 1: better one. Ricky's got those three things.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Sabrina Carpenter may have her next gig lined up and
- 18:59Speaker 2: it's not a tool and it's not new music. She's
- 19:01Speaker 2: set to star and produce in a new musical inspired
- 19:05Speaker 2: by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It's going to be for
- 19:08Speaker 2: Universal Pictures. She apparently pitched the idea last year. This
- 19:13Speaker 2: is going to be her first major studio lead role
- 19:16Speaker 2: for her as well. She's done acting before in the past,
- 19:18Speaker 2: but this would be the biggest gig that she's gotten
- 19:21Speaker 2: so far when it comes to her acting career. So
- 19:24Speaker 2: really exciting stuff. We have no word on when it
- 19:26Speaker 2: would come out, if this is actually one hundred percent official.
- 19:29Speaker 2: This is just rumors right now, because until she says
- 19:33Speaker 2: it herself, you can't believe anything. But this would be
- 19:35Speaker 2: really cool. I think she makes sense for Alice in
- 19:38Speaker 2: Wonderland like the Vibe and who she is just fully
- 19:42Speaker 2: makes one hundred percent sent So I'm hoping that it
- 19:44Speaker 2: all turns out that it works out and we get
- 19:46Speaker 2: it soon. They're adding more paid parking spots to Music
- 19:51Speaker 2: Row despite industry opposition. This just really makes me mad.
- 19:56Speaker 2: National's Parking and Traffic Commission approved the proposal that's going
- 19:59Speaker 2: to add two one hundred and nine paid parking spaces
- 20:01Speaker 2: along the side streets in that district, so you can't
- 20:05Speaker 2: even go to the side streets anymore to park for free.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Transportation officials said that they are targeting smaller side streets
- 20:11Speaker 2: because people are avoiding main stretches because they don't want
- 20:15Speaker 2: to pay for parking, but business owners are saying that
- 20:19Speaker 2: it's hurting them and their business. Music industry represent representatives
- 20:24Speaker 2: spoke against this proposal during a commission meeting. They had
- 20:28Speaker 2: a petition with over eighteen hundred signatures. They've really been
- 20:31Speaker 2: trying to rally people together to let people know that
- 20:34Speaker 2: this should not be happening in that area. We have
- 20:37Speaker 2: like no free parking anywhere in Nashville at all, and
- 20:40Speaker 2: that area specifically is a lot of artists and their
- 20:43Speaker 2: argument is that artists should not be penalized and have
- 20:45Speaker 2: to pay for parking in order to work, which is
- 20:48Speaker 2: a lot of what the argument was downtown. When artists
- 20:51Speaker 2: are going to perform in all of these bars downtown,
- 20:54Speaker 2: they're paying hundreds of dollars thousands of dollars in parking,
- 20:58Speaker 2: which is just absolutely insane. So the fact that they
- 21:01Speaker 2: approved it just really irks me. I can tell we
- 21:05Speaker 2: need more free parking again. It's getting out of hand,
- 21:08Speaker 2: and with Thanksgiving right around the corner, an er doctor
- 21:11Speaker 2: is warning people of the most common injuries to happen
- 21:13Speaker 2: during the holiday. Doctor Reid Caldwell has worked in the
- 21:16Speaker 2: emergency room on Thanksgiving for the last twelve years, so
- 21:19Speaker 2: he kind of knows what he's talking about here. Cut
- 21:21Speaker 2: some lash orations as well as burns are super common
- 21:24Speaker 2: for those cooking. Orthopedic injuries and sprains happen a lot,
- 21:28Speaker 2: and last but not least, stomach issues. So make sure
- 21:31Speaker 2: you're really cooking the things that you need to do
- 21:33Speaker 2: and doing it very, very safely. And make sure that
- 21:36Speaker 2: if you're in the sportsy family who likes to do
- 21:38Speaker 2: five k's in the morning, I feel so bad for you,
- 21:41Speaker 2: or play football games in the afternoon, that you are
- 21:44Speaker 2: careful and safe while you play Amrique Sanchez, And those
- 21:47Speaker 2: are the three things you need to know.
- 21:48Speaker 3: One seven five of the river, Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 21:51Speaker 3: in the morning.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Every home, the true ruler is the one who controls
- 21:54Speaker 1: the thermostat. That is a quote. I believe it was
- 21:57Speaker 1: Martin Luther King. Okay, okay, pade that part up. But
- 22:01Speaker 1: it's one O seven to five the river who controls
- 22:03Speaker 1: the thermostad? In my house? Dad, are you having a
- 22:07Speaker 1: thermostad battle like what I am having with my son?
- 22:10Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with this temperature. He just
- 22:11Speaker 1: thinks it's funny to set it to sixty seven because
- 22:14Speaker 1: of six seven.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Oh my goodness. Well, I mean the weather changes here.
- 22:21Speaker 2: They're causing issues in my house as well. We can't
- 22:24Speaker 2: find the right temperature because it's so cold one day
- 22:27Speaker 2: and then it's like, oh, it's a little warmer during
- 22:29Speaker 2: the day, and then it's freezing at night. I'm constantly
- 22:32Speaker 2: changing the thermostat. I think that my fiance wants to
- 22:35Speaker 2: like throw me off the balcony.
- 22:36Speaker 6: I mean he wants to do that beforehand.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Rude, that man has obsessed me.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Okay, but thermostad battles in your house? Who's uh running
- 22:46Speaker 1: the thermostad and is it causing an issue? Six one five, seven,
- 22:49Speaker 1: three seven nine one oh seven? Are you like my son?
- 22:52Speaker 1: Maybe you're like Ricky. Let us know six one five, seven,
- 22:54Speaker 1: three seven.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Nine one seven.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Five river Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning for somber.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It's one of seven to five the river. We're talking
- 23:02Speaker 1: about the thermostat battles in our homes. My son keeps
- 23:06Speaker 1: setting it to sixty seven because he thinks six to
- 23:08Speaker 1: seven six is the funniest thing of all time. Andrew
- 23:12Speaker 1: and Nashville is on the line. What's going on in
- 23:14Speaker 1: your house with your thermbstab?
- 23:15Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:16Speaker 11: I think the six to seven things hilarious too. By
- 23:18Speaker 11: the way, we actually just have our thermostat off right now.
- 23:25Speaker 11: What kind of odd, But it's we're letting nature regulate
- 23:29Speaker 11: our temper no hot to gold, to hot to cold.
- 23:33Speaker 11: It seems to average out.
- 23:34Speaker 8: I just got goosebumps all over my body thinking about
- 23:37Speaker 8: the fact that it was twenty six degrees on Monday.
- 23:40Speaker 6: What do you mean you don't even have the heat on?
- 23:42Speaker 11: Well, it still tells you what temperature it is inside.
- 23:45Speaker 11: And it only got down to sixty two.
- 23:48Speaker 1: So oh that's miserable, not warm, but not terrible.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Old What is happening? I've literally changed the thermostat so
- 23:54Speaker 2: many times over the past four days that I think
- 23:57Speaker 2: my fiance is like over me. He's ready to take
- 24:00Speaker 2: me out of your market because I can't regulate my
- 24:03Speaker 2: body temperature because the outside can regulates its temperature.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Do you have kids, Andrew?
- 24:09Speaker 11: I do too, and do it?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Do they complain when it's snowing in the house?
- 24:16Speaker 11: No, no complaints yet, but if there is, I'll definitely
- 24:19Speaker 11: let you all know.
- 24:21Speaker 8: Was this like a money saving tactic to just like
- 24:23Speaker 8: turn it off and let it go? Or do you
- 24:25Speaker 8: like just genuinely enjoy torturing yourself.
- 24:28Speaker 11: I think it's just it was kind of an experiment,
- 24:31Speaker 11: you know. I don't know that I'll run this experiment again.
- 24:34Speaker 2: But that's fair because it's insane.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I would love to talk to your families see how
- 24:40Speaker 1: they feel about it, right, Are you like the thermostat ruler?
- 24:46Speaker 1: We don't.
- 24:47Speaker 11: Well, there's no, it's a democratic process in.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Our I don't believe you. Thanks you calling. We appreciate
- 24:55Speaker 1: you being here, Andrew, Thanks buddy.
- 24:57Speaker 11: Yeah, I have a good one.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning.
- 25:03Speaker 2: On Sam in spring Hill, Welcome to one oh seven
- 25:07Speaker 2: five the River. Tell us about your thermostat war in
- 25:10Speaker 2: your house? Are you anything like Andrew or are you
- 25:12Speaker 2: guys like going at it right now?
- 25:14Speaker 5: The battle has been had and I won?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Oh okay, Sam, tell us all about it.
- 25:20Speaker 6: How did you win?
- 25:21Speaker 5: I am the keeper of the thermostet, and you now
- 25:25Speaker 5: my husband?
- 25:26Speaker 4: Yes you are.
- 25:27Speaker 5: I love to hear it in the same breath. We
- 25:30Speaker 5: have the heat set on downstairs, but I do not
- 25:34Speaker 5: turn it on upstairs.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Heat rises.
- 25:37Speaker 5: I like to sleep cold. It works out perfectly.
- 25:40Speaker 6: I feel like that's a really fair like argument.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Yeah, and the cold morning. I've got a wood burning fireplace,
- 25:47Speaker 5: so I have fire needs some extra heat.
- 25:49Speaker 1: So there's battle between the two of you. Though, what
- 25:51Speaker 1: would he if he was in charge, what would he
- 25:53Speaker 1: be doing?
- 25:54Speaker 5: Gosh, he probably would have it off altogether. But then
- 25:57Speaker 5: I've got kids who are like, turn it on everywhere.
- 26:00Speaker 5: I always want nobody nobody else is allowed to touch it.
- 26:04Speaker 5: That is the rule. It is Mom's thermost I like it, Sam.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Good for you, Sam, I love this.
- 26:11Speaker 5: Thanks so much.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Paula tell us about your thermost at war that's going on.
- 26:18Speaker 7: We have three adults who live there and my granddaughter,
- 26:21Speaker 7: and I actually don't think I've turned my heat on
- 26:25Speaker 7: in five years.
- 26:26Speaker 6: In five years, yeah, how do you keep it warm?
- 26:30Speaker 8: When it's like really cold, like especially when it's snows.
- 26:34Speaker 7: You get used to it. I know, you guys don't
- 26:37Speaker 7: understand that I moved down here from upstate New York,
- 26:40Speaker 7: and uh, summer hurts me more than winter.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Do you bundle up at home and it gets that cold,
- 26:45Speaker 1: you just throw on extra layers?
- 26:46Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, I have a light jacket. Some of
- 26:50Speaker 7: them have footed up pajamas, but yeah, it's just an
- 26:53Speaker 7: extra blanket jacket during the day, long sleeve.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Do you turn the ac on in the summer? You
- 26:59Speaker 2: just don't turn heat on in the winter.
- 27:01Speaker 7: Yeah, we all use the air conditioner a little.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Bit, all right. Then you're you're starting to level out.
- 27:06Speaker 2: I was starting. I was thinking you were a little insane,
- 27:08Speaker 2: Paula for a second, But that makes sense.
- 27:10Speaker 7: So now it's like, coming from from New York, I
- 27:14Speaker 7: am more much more used to the cold than this
- 27:18Speaker 7: horrible eat you guys, I've down.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Air It is pretty awful.
- 27:23Speaker 8: I will say, I don't know if it's just my house,
- 27:25Speaker 8: but like, whenever I turn on the oven, it gets
- 27:27Speaker 8: so hot in my house. So I'm like, during the winter,
- 27:30Speaker 8: if I'm like planning on cooking or baking something, I'm like,
- 27:32Speaker 8: I don't need to turn the heat on.
- 27:33Speaker 6: The oven will do the work.
- 27:34Speaker 1: You sep it open.
- 27:36Speaker 6: No, No, it's hot.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Like it just generates so much heat that it makes
- 27:39Speaker 2: the kitchen. Yeah, it makes it warmer in that area.
- 27:43Speaker 7: And when you have a small room and you're running
- 27:46Speaker 7: like your computer and stuff, it actually warms.
- 27:48Speaker 10: Your room up.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Okay, Paula, I am fascinated by you. I know, upstate
- 27:52Speaker 2: New York it's a lot of snow and a lot
- 27:54Speaker 2: more snow because I'm from Jersey and you guys get
- 27:56Speaker 2: way more snow and upstate and it gets way colder
- 27:58Speaker 2: than Jersey does. But even in New Jersey, I'm used
- 28:01Speaker 2: to the cold. I just absolutely despise it being cold.
- 28:08Speaker 7: I used to actually go outside and like shovel the
- 28:11Speaker 7: snow and wear shorts and a T shirts and my
- 28:14Speaker 7: winter boots and believe how.
- 28:18Speaker 5: Much you sweat.
- 28:19Speaker 7: If you sweat outside when it's gold, you get gold.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 28:24Speaker 7: So you just don't wear layers. You just go out
- 28:27Speaker 7: and do it and go back in.
- 28:28Speaker 1: You're crazy, maybe the coolest person I've ever met.
- 28:31Speaker 3: But thank you.
- 28:32Speaker 1: We appreciate you.
- 28:34Speaker 7: All right, Heaven, good day, Bye bye bye.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I want to be like Paula.
- 28:38Speaker 1: When I grow up.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I know, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Creative kids, that's the theme of today's Daily double tap
- 28:47Speaker 2: on one O seven five the River. These middle schoolers
- 28:50Speaker 2: are just really stretching their creativity. They formed a band
- 28:53Speaker 2: together and they make their own original music. They did
- 28:57Speaker 2: a music video for it. You seeing their mom's ring
- 29:01Speaker 2: doorbell camera.
- 29:02Speaker 8: This is so smart, honestly right, and it looks really
- 29:05Speaker 8: like old school vibe, like it's very.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Kind of nineties ish or something. And again, the song
- 29:11Speaker 1: rules way harder than it needs to. You. Here we
- 29:13Speaker 1: go today's daily double tip.
- 29:16Speaker 7: Yeah, buddy, can we use the door cam to make
- 29:18Speaker 7: a music video?
- 29:19Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 29:20Speaker 6: For sure?
- 29:23Speaker 1: The best as.
- 29:35Speaker 3: What?
- 29:36Speaker 1: That's so good?
- 29:37Speaker 3: Right?
- 29:38Speaker 8: Oh my god, genuinely impressed because the video was awesome.
- 29:42Speaker 6: The music is incredible. I'm like, how did this happen?
- 29:45Speaker 2: I love that this is like garage band s. Yeah,
- 29:50Speaker 2: and that makes me really Happy. They're called Illuminati Suns
- 29:53Speaker 2: is the name of the band, and it's just it's
- 29:56Speaker 2: a bunch of like they look like middle schoolers.
- 29:58Speaker 1: God, they're just almost five hundred thousand followers on Instagram.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna follow these kids. This is amazing.
- 30:04Speaker 2: I followed them yesterday because I was like, yes, instant
- 30:06Speaker 2: follow one to watch for sure.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on one
- 30:12Speaker 3: Seven the River
