- 1:27Speaker 2: September 14th, is Gobstopper Day.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Oh, I used to love those. Which is a Willy
- 1:32Speaker 1: Wonka thing.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Yeah, but they made them for kids, and they have
- 1:34Speaker 4: the different colors inside as you suck it.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Our parents wouldn't let us have those because they said
- 1:38Speaker 2: we'd break our teeth.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Those are jawbreakers. Jawbreakers. Those big white ones.
- 1:43Speaker 1: They're kind of the same, right?
- 1:44Speaker 2: An everlasting gobstopper.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Today is National Coloring Day.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Your favorite. Yeah, dude, you know who's way into coloring
- 1:51Speaker 1: is my Aunt Chrissy. i can see that that could
- 1:55Speaker 1: be a fun pastime when you're high yeah i love.
- 1:58Speaker 2: It she she's oddly artistic oh sweet artistic artistic like
- 2:05Speaker 2: like yeah not autistic yeah yeah yeah no artistic right
- 2:09Speaker 2: so she she's good with like pencils crayons she can
- 2:13Speaker 2: do like the the shading oh so like she's not
- 2:15Speaker 2: just like coloring like a little kid would do yeah
- 2:18Speaker 2: like you look at it like oh wow like Somebody
- 2:20Speaker 2: who knew what they were doing with the colors and
- 2:22Speaker 2: the blending and all that.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You would never think in a million years.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Where did she learn that?
- 2:27Speaker 1: Dude, I have no idea. Probably self-taught.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, she can even like, she can draw stuff. Pretty
- 2:31Speaker 2: good at drawing stuff.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I can see her doing like mushrooms or something like that.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Not doing mushrooms, but like coloring them. I can see
- 2:37Speaker 1: her doing mushrooms too. And that too. How old is
- 2:40Speaker 1: Aunt Chrissy? Aunt Chrissy is 59.
- 2:42Speaker 6: Okay.
- 2:42Speaker 1: All right. I think she's eight years older than I am,
- 2:48Speaker 1: eight or nine years older. Because she's one of those
- 2:51Speaker 1: age-ambiguous people. Yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Today is National Sober Day, Greg.
- 2:54Speaker 1: No, thank you. It's Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet Week.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Don't even bother Menace with that. He says shop, don't adopt.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Well, all those people want to get a three-legged dog
- 3:05Speaker 3: for the gram. They don't really care.
- 3:07Speaker 4: I was going to adopt a three-legged Maltese named Tripod,
- 3:10Speaker 4: but then it said it was bad with kids.
- 3:12Speaker 1: They can run.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Today is Sexual Health Day.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Cool.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's National Cream-Filled Donut Day.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Sure.
- 3:19Speaker 2: And it's National Eat-A-Hoagie Day.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Oh, do it.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Eatin' Sky's gonna go have a hoagie.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Speaking of Aunt Chrissy. Speaking of Aunt Chrissy.
- 3:26Speaker 2: All right, people were asked, what is a skill almost
- 3:29Speaker 2: everyone thinks they're good at until they meet someone who's
- 3:33Speaker 2: actually great at it?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Fighting is on the list.
- 3:37Speaker 7: Yeah, there's a great Onion article from years ago where
- 3:39Speaker 7: it says average man... 4,000% less effective in fights than
- 3:42Speaker 7: he thinks he is.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I was just listening to Tom Segura on a podcast
- 3:47Speaker 3: and he was talking about this exact thing that he
- 3:50Speaker 3: said in high school that he played high school football
- 3:53Speaker 3: and he was delusional thinking that he was really good.
- 3:55Speaker 3: And then he got invited to a college and he
- 3:57Speaker 3: went to the college and met the player and he
- 3:59Speaker 3: was talking to the guy's numbers as he was standing
- 4:03Speaker 3: and he goes, wait a minute, I will get destroyed
- 4:06Speaker 3: by these guys. And then he quit football right there.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yeah, there are these guys who either don't realize that
- 4:11Speaker 2: weight does matter. Like weight classes exist for a reason
- 4:14Speaker 2: or like height advantage or disadvantage is a thing.
- 4:17Speaker 7: When you talk to an actual NFL player or an
- 4:20Speaker 7: actual NBA player, they're just bigger people.
- 4:22Speaker 1: They are huge humans. Monster hands. Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 2: So you may be getting in over your head.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 4:29Speaker 2: What are some other things you think are on the list?
- 4:30Speaker 2: What's a skill that almost everyone thinks they're good at
- 4:33Speaker 2: until they meet someone who's actually.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Great at it?
- 4:35Speaker 4: Probably dancing.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Dancing.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Like dancing at a club. You're like, oh, I look
- 4:40Speaker 4: like an idiot.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, not on the list. I was thinking cooking. Cooking.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Cooking is on the list. All right.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Crossbows.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Storytelling is on the list. That's very true. A lot
- 4:51Speaker 1: of people are terrible storytellers. Yes. Driving, obviously. I'm a
- 4:57Speaker 1: good driver. It's like, dude, I've been in the car
- 4:59Speaker 1: with you.
- 4:59Speaker 5: All right.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Look at the UC best.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Teaching.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I mean, I could see that, but like actual really
- 5:06Speaker 1: good teachers are, that is a skill, but the- A
- 5:09Speaker 1: lot of people.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Think they can do it until they meet somebody who's
- 5:12Speaker 2: actually really good at it.
- 5:13Speaker 7: But the average person can teach daycare, a.k.a.
- 5:16Speaker 5: First through eighth grades.
- 5:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Now, again, these are just things that made the list
- 5:19Speaker 2: when they asked a bunch of different people. So these
- 5:21Speaker 2: are the normal by the numbers on it.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Writing.
- 5:24Speaker 2: There's a lot of people that consider themselves to be
- 5:25Speaker 2: a really good writer, but- And write a book.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Any casual playing game. Darts, cornhole, bowling. Although people are
- 5:35Speaker 2: a little bit more honest when it comes to bowling. Yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 2: numbers don't lie.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Can't hide it.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Yeah. But cornhole. All right. Not difficult. Photography. Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 2: It could be learned pretty easily, though.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Photography's on the list.
- 5:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Any kind of trade, like people who think they can
- 5:51Speaker 2: fix anything because they did a DIY once.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Yeah. I looked it up. Yeah. That's the thing. People go, well,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you could do that. Like, I know better than that.
- 5:58Speaker 1: No way.
- 5:59Speaker 6: No way.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I hold them in the same regard as doctors. Like,
- 6:02Speaker 1: if you're a carpenter, you're kind of a miracle worker.
- 6:05Speaker 1: You're an artist, but with wood. Right. Ladies, is this true?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Doing makeup.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good one.
- 6:11Speaker 2: What's a skill almost everyone thinks they're good at until
- 6:13Speaker 2: they meet somebody who's actually great at it?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yeah, there's an artistry to it. For sure.
- 6:17Speaker 4: There's a reason you pay people to do your makeup
- 6:19Speaker 4: for something special.
- 6:20Speaker 9: But I think girls know when they're not good at it,
- 6:23Speaker 9: but you're still just your only option.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 6:24Speaker 2: There's some girls who think they look really good.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I agree.
- 6:27Speaker 2: And I go, what kind of clown ass makeup are
- 6:29Speaker 2: you wearing?
- 6:29Speaker 1: I totally agree.
- 6:30Speaker 3: So in college for film school, you have to take
- 6:33Speaker 3: makeup and special effects.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I aced it.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Is that where you developed your passion for Sephora cosmetics?
- 6:39Speaker 5: I crushed it.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Women's cosmetics.
- 6:41Speaker 5: I had to do women's makeup. I was really good.
- 6:44Speaker 1: All right. One more.
- 6:46Speaker 2: What's a skill almost everyone thinks they're good at until
- 6:48Speaker 2: they meet someone who's actually great at it?
- 6:49Speaker 1: There's a lot of people who think they're a good actor.
- 6:51Speaker 1: They're acting. Oh, that's a good one.
- 6:53Speaker 2: While acting is very easy, there are people who are very.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Bad at it. Right. Oh, yeah. And if you are
- 6:58Speaker 1: good at it and that's your job, you have the
- 7:00Speaker 1: easiest job in the world. Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 2: But even like not even necessarily in a play or wherever,
- 7:06Speaker 2: but when you're supposed to act surprised, you know what
- 7:09Speaker 2: I mean? Or yeah, that's why a lot of the
- 7:12Speaker 2: times the stuff that we talk about here on the show,
- 7:14Speaker 2: like everybody has a kind of a general idea of
- 7:17Speaker 2: what the subject is going to be, but they don't
- 7:18Speaker 2: know any of the specifics because that first natural reaction
- 7:23Speaker 2: can never be recreated. Yeah. We are not actors, so
- 7:26Speaker 2: it's not like, oh, there's been plenty of shows that go, oh, yeah,
- 7:29Speaker 2: we're going to do that again.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 2: You know, like, oh, I'll say this. People, they think
- 7:34Speaker 2: that they're good. They think that they can read. something
- 7:37Speaker 2: out loud and sound natural like they're not reading and
- 7:40Speaker 2: they can't do it. Listen to any ad that the
- 7:42Speaker 2: local athlete does.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Yeah. On your radio or TV. My name is blah, blah, blah.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I'm Rob Gronkowski. I dare you. Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 10: All right.
- 7:48Speaker 1: 877-44-WOODY. Send us a text over to 22987. Time for
- 7:50Speaker 1: your birthdays.
- 7:57Speaker 2: It's your birthday.
- 7:58Speaker 1: We're going to party like it's your birthday. We're going
- 8:01Speaker 1: to sip a card like it's your birthday. And you

- 9:26Speaker 1: Ew. All right.
- 9:28Speaker 2: She was in Anal For Thee But Not For He.
- 9:31Speaker 1: That's rules. That sounds very highbrow. It does. So Shakespearean.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and then Who Can Forget Her Unforgettable Role in
- 9:39Speaker 2: Grown Woman Vagina Hits Different.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Oh, I bet.

- 10:34Speaker 13: Hey.
- 10:35Speaker 2: It is the Woody Show.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Woody, Greg, Metis, Gina, Grad. Uh-huh.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Phones open 877-44-WOODY.
- 10:41Speaker 1: You can send us a text over to 22987.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I don't know what it.
- 10:46Speaker 8: Is, man.
- 10:47Speaker 2: There's just all this stuff piling up. Things I think
- 10:49Speaker 2: would be of interest to little buddy. Stuff for Menace.
- 10:53Speaker 2: First being that Pepsi is dropping this body care collection.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Really?
- 10:58Speaker 2: So Pepsi Vanilla Slushy Body.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Scrub, which sounds like Menace. And the Pepsi Wild Cherry
- 11:05Speaker 1: Body Wash. Oh, I want to try that for sure.
- 11:07Speaker 1: So Pepsi Flavor Scented?
- 11:10Speaker 5: Okay.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Who's buying this? Who wants a body wash that smells
- 11:13Speaker 1: like Pepsi?
- 11:14Speaker 3: At Target, for the longest time, they had Girl Scout
- 11:17Speaker 3: cookie shampoo.
- 11:19Speaker 1: But that's what you want?
- 11:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:20Speaker 1: You can find this on the TikTok shop. Okay.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Mountain Dew body wash, which I think I saw some
- 11:25Speaker 2: of that sitting in Bort's studio over there.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Really?
- 11:28Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Mountain Dew getting into the game. Everybody else, too.
- 11:32Speaker 2: It's the Mountain Dew scented soap and body wash. For
- 11:35Speaker 2: some reason, I'm picturing this smelling like Irish spring.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I love it. Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 2: They say it smells exactly the way that Mountain Dew tastes.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Interesting. And this is at your favorite, Menace. It's at Walmart.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Love it.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Something else for little buddy.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Pokemon celebrating their 30th anniversary.
- 11:50Speaker 2: They're releasing a new collection of Crocs.
- 11:53Speaker 1: What?
- 11:54Speaker 2: Now, for a minute, Menace was all over Crocs.
- 11:56Speaker 5: I still wear them every day.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You do?
- 11:58Speaker 5: Yeah, just not at work.
- 11:59Speaker 1: At home.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I haven't seen you wear your Crocs with your gibbets
- 12:02Speaker 2: here in a while.
- 12:03Speaker 5: In a minute.
- 12:03Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 12:04Speaker 1: He had those, remember Greg, it was like, it was
- 12:07Speaker 1: a big thing for a minute. It was. Wait, did
- 12:09Speaker 1: you say 30 years of Pokemon? 30th anniversary of Pokemon.
- 12:13Speaker 11: What?
- 12:13Speaker 5: They've been around for a long time.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I would have thought five years.
- 12:16Speaker 2: And they're not just regular Crocs with a couple Pokemon
- 12:18Speaker 2: charms slapped on them. Pikachu gets a bright yellow pair
- 12:22Speaker 2: with his face and ears across the front, while Jengar-
- 12:25Speaker 2: Gets a purple version with his giant creepy smile. Jigglypuff
- 12:30Speaker 2: gets the fancy treatment with a pink platform version covered
- 12:34Speaker 2: in stars and musical notes. It'll cost you about 85 bucks.
- 12:39Speaker 3: They're going to sell the hell out of those Crocs
- 12:41Speaker 3: for sure.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Well, people like dumb stuff. Let's see. Menace. Yes. Some
- 12:47Speaker 1: mall news.
- 12:48Speaker 8: Ooh, yes.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Malls are struggling to get people through the doors, and
- 12:52Speaker 2: their solution is to charge you to get closer to them.
- 12:55Speaker 2: USA Today did a report on how more and more
- 12:58Speaker 2: malls are now turning the parking spaces closest to the
- 13:02Speaker 2: entrance into premium paid parking.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 13:06Speaker 1: That'll get people to go in. What? The polar opposite.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I mean, I know a lot of malls that have valets.
- 13:12Speaker 2: You know, this sounds like the airlines, like if you
- 13:16Speaker 2: want either an aisle or a window seat, they charge
- 13:19Speaker 2: you more.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to cost you.
- 13:21Speaker 3: But this doesn't sound like the struggling malls that are
- 13:23Speaker 3: going to use this. It sounds like the ones that
- 13:25Speaker 3: are just like- They're packed.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Packed.
- 13:27Speaker 2: But didn't they, I don't know, like didn't they, they
- 13:30Speaker 2: started doing valet at a lot of malls.
- 13:31Speaker 1: They do.
- 13:32Speaker 5: They do.
- 13:32Speaker 1: They have that. It's really the same thing. But that's counterproductive.
- 13:35Speaker 1: We want more people. So let's charge for parking. Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 2: So, yeah, well, look how well that turned out for
- 13:40Speaker 2: all the casinos in Vegas.
- 13:42Speaker 14: Yeah, right.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Good.
- 13:43Speaker 2: There used to be free parking for people there, and
- 13:45Speaker 2: then they started charging, and that's the one. People bitch
- 13:48Speaker 2: about that, I think, more than anything else.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I mean, as long as you have the free option,
- 13:51Speaker 3: it's cool. But, like, yeah, some of these malls that
- 13:54Speaker 3: I go to, I mean, it's hard to find a
- 13:56Speaker 3: parking space.
- 13:57Speaker 2: One mall in New Jersey has 119 prime spots roped
- 14:02Speaker 2: off where it costs $ 2. 45 for the first hour and
- 14:06Speaker 2: another $ 2 for every half an hour after that. People
- 14:10Speaker 2: online are calling it another reason malls are dying. And
- 14:13Speaker 2: the mall owners say it's an amenity for convenience.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't. Yeah.
- 14:18Speaker 3: It's never happened before. Anybody that says malls are dying
- 14:21Speaker 3: are the ones that are going to crappy malls.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Which are most of them.
- 14:24Speaker 8: No.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Most malls are crappy. You're insane. Okay. What draws me
- 14:29Speaker 1: to a mall is a restaurant. And then if there's
- 14:31Speaker 1: a wait for the table, then you kind of go
- 14:33Speaker 1: to a few stores. So it's kind of a win-win.
- 14:36Speaker 1: And the malls that I've gone to recently, they've all
- 14:39Speaker 1: been relatively crowded. And one more story here for a
- 14:42Speaker 1: little buddy.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Some new stats about how people feel about aliens.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Yeah, aliens, Bigfoot, he likes all this stuff.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:49Speaker 2: All right, so normal by the numbers, 54% of Gen
- 14:52Speaker 2: Zers believe that aliens are out there. Only 23% of
- 14:57Speaker 2: boomers believe that, which is surprising.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I thought it'd be older people. Right.
- 15:01Speaker 2: It's kind of 70s thought process. 37% said that the
- 15:05Speaker 2: government released records of the UFO sightings. That's what's made
- 15:09Speaker 2: them believe in aliens more.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Well, yeah, they just released some more. Actually, like 4K
- 15:13Speaker 3: footage of they don't know what it is.
- 15:15Speaker 5: Obviously, UFO.
- 15:16Speaker 2: It's a really good 4K grainy video.
- 15:19Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It's grainy video, but in 4K.
- 15:21Speaker 3: This is like coming from the government.
- 15:23Speaker 5: It's not some rando.
- 15:24Speaker 14: Sure.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Yeah, I know.
- 15:25Speaker 2: But just because it's that doesn't mean it's aliens.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but still. It's unidentified.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Overall, 55% said that if a UFO landed tomorrow, society
- 15:35Speaker 2: would not be ready. Oh, absolutely not.
- 15:39Speaker 1: 17% would be fearful. That's it. All right. I'd be interested.
- 15:43Speaker 4: Take me.
- 15:43Speaker 1: And I would abort an apology, but I would abort
- 15:47Speaker 1: an apology. Oh, I would abort an apology. Yeah. Well,
- 15:54Speaker 1: then I would abort it because I'd be proven right.
- 15:56Speaker 8: Right.
- 15:56Speaker 1: That it never happened. Yeah. Well, there you go. There's a,
- 16:00Speaker 1: there's a lot of expenses. That's what I got, buddy.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 16:01Speaker 3: I got to take you with me to a mall
- 16:04Speaker 3: on a weekend outside of the mall by your house,
- 16:06Speaker 3: which is probably one of the worst in America.
- 16:08Speaker 1: No, it's not just that.
- 16:09Speaker 2: So you can see like you can barely even move.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I'm thinking about all the malls from my life.
- 16:15Speaker 15: Right.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So all the malls growing up that I went to,
- 16:17Speaker 2: they're all garbage. Now Quaker bridge mall, South Hills village
- 16:21Speaker 2: in Pittsburgh. Um, you know, um, malls in St. Louis
- 16:25Speaker 2: where I lived for a long time, garbage, uh, and
- 16:28Speaker 2: yeah huh.
- 16:29Speaker 1: What do you mean i'm laughing i'm giving you from
- 16:32Speaker 1: all different areas of the.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Country terrible places.
- 16:35Speaker 1: What are you talking about i'm not saying that there's
- 16:38Speaker 1: not a mall that doesn't do i'm.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Saying there's good business there's several.
- 16:42Speaker 1: There are several i just feel like i'm getting are
- 16:44Speaker 1: we talking two different languages uh yeah we are i
- 16:48Speaker 1: don't i don't think you're getting what i'm saying I
- 16:50Speaker 1: don't think you're acknowledging that. Yes. Okay.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I do acknowledge that there are some, but the majority
- 16:56Speaker 2: of malls are not what you're talking about. They're just not.
- 16:59Speaker 2: I know you have this thing and you love these malls,
- 17:01Speaker 2: but anybody else in the room, you've been to other places.
- 17:04Speaker 1: You've been to malls. Are they all bumping and popping?
- 17:06Speaker 3: The ones that I just said that he goes, the
- 17:08Speaker 3: one that I go.
- 17:09Speaker 2: To is the one that he does.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Right. But the ones that I grew up with, yes,
- 17:13Speaker 1: there are ghost towns. Correct. Absolute ghost towns.
- 17:16Speaker 2: So all these articles, all these people that seem to
- 17:20Speaker 2: have the same opinion because they go to all these
- 17:22Speaker 2: malls and.
- 17:23Speaker 1: They're not that great. They're not what they used to be.
- 17:26Speaker 1: They're not all thriving. Correct. So, I mean, they all
- 17:30Speaker 1: must be wrong. Yeah. Maybe the aliens will like them all. Maybe.
- 17:35Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 17:38Speaker 2: And we're into another new hour.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Woody, Greg, Roy, Dennis.
- 17:44Speaker 9: Hi.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Gina Grand.
- 17:45Speaker 2: We got Jeff G.
- 17:47Speaker 11: Hello.
- 17:47Speaker 1: What are your cheers and jeers, my friend? Oh, cheers
- 17:50Speaker 1: are so easy. Football is back, man. Football is back.
- 17:53Speaker 1: That's why I went to you first.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Yeah, man. What an unbelievable Sunday. My team lost. I'm
- 17:58Speaker 5: a Chargers fan, and they lost horribly, by the way.
- 18:00Speaker 5: But that didn't ruin my day, man. The fact was
- 18:02Speaker 5: is that I had football for 10 hours straight, and
- 18:05Speaker 5: I loved every minute of it, man. Food, beer, the
- 18:08Speaker 5: whole thing, and... Uh, my wife and kid left me alone,
- 18:10Speaker 5: which is great.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I was gonna say, it's just you or do you
- 18:12Speaker 1: get together with people? You mean like a social thing?
- 18:15Speaker 5: Yesterday was just me. Um, but yeah. And you know,
- 18:18Speaker 5: different occasions I'll have people over to the house or
- 18:20Speaker 5: whatever and barbecue. But yesterday it was just me and
- 18:22Speaker 5: that's just what I needed.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Nice.
- 18:23Speaker 3: I mean, your team did have the clip of social
- 18:26Speaker 3: media all day yesterday.
- 18:28Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 5: I mean, Justin Herbert's still winning. I mean, you know,
- 18:30Speaker 5: Madison beer jumping up and down when he makes it.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I think it's everything. Is that your hall pass chick?
- 18:36Speaker 10: Me?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Madison Beer, because you love her. I know that you
- 18:39Speaker 1: are born and obsessed with her. No, she wouldn't be
- 18:41Speaker 1: my Hal Pass chick, though.
- 18:42Speaker 10: Really?
- 18:43Speaker 1: Who would be?
- 18:44Speaker 5: Gosh.
- 18:46Speaker 4: I know.
- 18:46Speaker 1: If not Madison Beer, who would it be?
- 18:47Speaker 4: The chick from Obsession.
- 18:49Speaker 5: Yes, I would take her. She's strong top three.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Indy Navarrete or whatever?
- 18:52Speaker 5: Indy Navarrete, yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I like her a lot. She's popping up everywhere. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 1: I like her. Is that your hall pass pick? There's
- 18:57Speaker 1: a few.
- 18:57Speaker 5: I have a long list, Woody. It would take too
- 18:59Speaker 5: much time.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Who's your wife's hall pass?
- 19:01Speaker 5: I think Bradley Cooper.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Really?
- 19:03Speaker 8: Oh, wow.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Good luck with that.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Even after the facelift.
- 19:05Speaker 2: See, you say good luck with that, but women have
- 19:08Speaker 2: the undisputable advantage when it comes to the hall pass because- Like,
- 19:12Speaker 2: they're still women, right?
- 19:14Speaker 1: And if they're awake.
- 19:16Speaker 2: If they catch that celebrity and they go, sure thing,
- 19:19Speaker 2: right now.
- 19:19Speaker 1: And they're like, huh, you know what? Why not? Let's
- 19:21Speaker 1: do it, right?
- 19:23Speaker 4: I got an extra five minutes.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Now, a guy walks up to his hall pass and
- 19:29Speaker 2: throws out that same offer.
- 19:30Speaker 17: He gets tased.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Exactly right. Police are being called.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly right.
- 19:35Speaker 5: At that point, I just have to let her go,
- 19:36Speaker 5: you know?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Yep, exactly. All right, Menace, cheers and jeers.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Well, my cheers is that I just got to hang
- 19:42Speaker 3: out at the pool and that was super fun and uh,
- 19:45Speaker 3: do a lot of home projects and get those cleared up.
- 19:48Speaker 3: My cheers though, is my dog. I've been talking about
- 19:51Speaker 3: it for a while. My dog has been going through, uh,
- 19:53Speaker 3: cancer treatments for about a year and a half and
- 19:55Speaker 3: she's been doing great, but this past week, man, just,
- 19:59Speaker 3: it's pretty brutal. So, um, just trying to get through
- 20:02Speaker 3: that and, uh, take care of her and, you know, just, uh,
- 20:06Speaker 3: Pretty old, though.
- 20:07Speaker 1: For that breed, too, right?
- 20:08Speaker 5: Yeah, she's 12 years old.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 3: You know, for a French Bulldog, that's pretty good. They
- 20:13Speaker 3: could live, like, 14, 16 years. We got, again, this
- 20:18Speaker 3: cancer treatment that probably gave her another year and a
- 20:21Speaker 3: half of, like, good life, so that's good.
- 20:23Speaker 1: And what is it? What is it called? Do you know?
- 20:25Speaker 5: The type of cancer that she has?
- 20:27Speaker 1: No, no, the treatment.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Oh, well, she's been getting, like, this pill treatment, but
- 20:32Speaker 3: they've they've talked about maybe giving her some radiation type treatments.
- 20:36Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 1: But it's a treatment at home or you have to
- 20:38Speaker 1: take her in.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I have to take her in.
- 20:39Speaker 2: So wait, which one's the one that you say has
- 20:41Speaker 2: extended by a year? It's the pill treatment. I don't
- 20:45Speaker 2: know exactly what the pill treatment is.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Um, can people take it? That sounds pretty good.
- 20:50Speaker 1: A pill treatment. Uh, I honestly, I don't know.
- 20:54Speaker 8: Dr.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Menace?
- 20:55Speaker 2: There's all kinds of stuff for cancer. You know, now
- 20:58Speaker 2: things that were, I mean, five years ago weren't even
- 21:01Speaker 2: like a blur.
- 21:02Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 21:02Speaker 1: It's amazing how quickly a lot of that stuff is developing.
- 21:05Speaker 1: I mean, for both, for people, for animals.
- 21:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:08Speaker 3: So I did take her into an emergency room the
- 21:12Speaker 3: other day and they were just like shocked on how
- 21:15Speaker 3: much that the treatment like extended her life.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Find out the name because I know a lot of
- 21:19Speaker 2: people are going to be asking, hey, can you find out?
- 21:21Speaker 1: So many people I know. I will, for sure. It
- 21:23Speaker 1: seems like every dog ends up with cancer. It does
- 21:26Speaker 1: seem that way. And I remember when Menace got this dog,
- 21:28Speaker 1: and I held her in the palm of my hand.
- 21:30Speaker 1: She was like the size of a hamster. I know.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So sweet.
- 21:35Speaker 2: And then weekend, cheers and jeers.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Sammy.
- 21:38Speaker 17: Okay, so my cheers.
- 21:40Speaker 1: goes out to eating.
- 21:42Speaker 9: A buffet style meal at home, which I've never done.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Before, but it was fat Sammy guys.
- 21:49Speaker 18: It was with a group of people.
- 21:50Speaker 1: It's a whole new life.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:53Speaker 1: What if we can bring a buffet? Let's do it here.
- 21:58Speaker 9: I'm telling you, we're really sleeping on this because I've never,
- 22:01Speaker 9: I mean, I've never thought of doing this. You go
- 22:03Speaker 9: in the fridge, of course, and grab random things just
- 22:05Speaker 9: if you're hungry and it.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Might not go together.
- 22:07Speaker 9: But making a meal with the purpose of it all
- 22:09Speaker 9: being fresh and being so random is amazing.
- 22:13Speaker 18: We had homemade pizza.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Is that a potluck? Isn't that like every house party? Right.
- 22:19Speaker 1: That sounds like a potluck. Yeah. Like where people bring
- 22:21Speaker 1: different things. It's not like there's a theme. No, no.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Is there one person that provided all the food or
- 22:25Speaker 3: did multiple people?
- 22:26Speaker 1: Yes.
- 22:26Speaker 9: No, it was not a potluck. It was one person
- 22:29Speaker 9: there cooking the food. We had homemade pizzas. We had sausage,
- 22:33Speaker 9: corn on the cob, chicken, like a salad, macaroni and cheese,
- 22:35Speaker 9: baked potatoes. I mean, it was so much food and
- 22:37Speaker 9: there was like six of us there.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Wow.
- 22:39Speaker 18: Like there wasn't a ton.
- 22:40Speaker 1: While they knew you were coming.
- 22:40Speaker 3: And it ruled.
- 22:42Speaker 4: That's called a golden corral.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Yeah. They have a chocolate fountain. Yeah, right. At home. Yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 22:48Speaker 9: Just start making random dishes that you enjoy and have
- 22:50Speaker 9: it be your meal.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Okay. Just do that.
- 22:53Speaker 2: They don't need to go together.
- 22:55Speaker 1: That's my mother-in-law, dude.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Like, she just puts out random stuff. Out on the
- 22:59Speaker 2: kitchen counter. She'll throw a package of lunch meat out there.
- 23:01Speaker 2: There'll be some olives. Then she's making something over on
- 23:05Speaker 2: the stove, like eggs or something. Like, what are we
- 23:07Speaker 2: doing here?
- 23:08Speaker 1: And then you just cook what you want. Always a salad.
- 23:10Speaker 1: There's always a salad.
- 23:11Speaker 2: She'll put a salad out, which, you know, making salads
- 23:14Speaker 2: at home never hit the same as when you get
- 23:16Speaker 2: them when you're out.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Beth's like, what's a salad? Remember salad, Sammy? No.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Oh, by the way, we forgot to get Jeff's. I
- 23:26Speaker 2: know you got to get to your jeers.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:28Speaker 2: But we forgot to get Jeff's jeers. Oh, my jeers
- 23:30Speaker 2: are really easy.
- 23:31Speaker 1: We heard about football and Madison Beer and hall passes.
- 23:35Speaker 5: So why are doctors and dentists always late? It drives
- 23:38Speaker 5: me nuts, man. I went to a couple appointments recently
- 23:41Speaker 5: in the last week, and I'll get there 10 minutes
- 23:44Speaker 5: before my appointment, and they make me wait half hour
- 23:46Speaker 5: after my appointment. And it's not particular to any doctor
- 23:50Speaker 5: or dentist, but it's just like- You guys got to
- 23:53Speaker 5: figure this out because it's just like people are on
- 23:56Speaker 5: a clock. We got stuff to do.
- 23:57Speaker 1: We got families. We got work.
- 23:58Speaker 4: And if you're late, they'll just cancel your appointment.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 24:00Speaker 5: And charge you a hundred bucks.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Oh, absolutely.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:02Speaker 5: So doctors, dentists, get it together. You guys are my jeers.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And why does it take months to get an appointment?
- 24:08Speaker 5: That part too. That's crazy.
- 24:10Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I told you, man, like trying to make an appointment
- 24:12Speaker 2: with an HVAC company is next to impossible.
- 24:16Speaker 4: That's worse.
- 24:16Speaker 1: There's so many. You got to know a guy. Contractors
- 24:19Speaker 1: that just. apparently don't want money.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Well, there's a lot of opportunity in the trades. You
- 24:23Speaker 2: keep hearing about that. So plumbers, electricians, there's way more
- 24:27Speaker 2: work than there are plumbers and electricians. And as these,
- 24:30Speaker 2: the actual boomers, as that generation starts to retire, there's
- 24:34Speaker 2: really nobody coming up behind them. You know, there are some,
- 24:37Speaker 2: but I mean, it's going to get worse and worse
- 24:38Speaker 2: trying to get a plumber or an electrician or an
- 24:41Speaker 2: HVAC or any of these tradesmen.
- 24:44Speaker 4: So make that money.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Dude, so much opportunity there. You know, if you can,
- 24:48Speaker 2: you know, People think like, oh, well, I don't want
- 24:51Speaker 2: to be a, it's not glamorous, right?
- 24:54Speaker 1: Like, oh, I'm a plumber. But dude, they're making bank.
- 24:56Speaker 1: You know what is glamorous?
- 24:57Speaker 4: Their house and their car.
- 24:59Speaker 2: And going on vacation every year.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Totally. Yeah, exactly.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Oh, well, look at this beat up truck. Yeah, that's
- 25:05Speaker 2: the work truck.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Right. They don't care about that.
- 25:06Speaker 2: What do you see what they're getting in when they're
- 25:08Speaker 2: done with work for the day? Yeah, they're killing it.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 25:11Speaker 2: But yeah, the whole waiting for, they cancel at the
- 25:14Speaker 2: last minute or they don't call you back. Although Greg
- 25:17Speaker 2: does love a wait at a restaurant, but that's restaurant only.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Restaurant only. Even if I have a reservation, let's wait
- 25:23Speaker 1: for half an hour.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Have a drink.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Have a drink. The worst are the windows. Oh, noon
- 25:27Speaker 1: to four. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 5: And then they don't show up.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Because it's always either noon or four. It's never somewhere
- 25:35Speaker 1: in the middle.
- 25:36Speaker 12: No.
- 25:37Speaker 1: And I have a bone to pick with Amazon. They
- 25:39Speaker 1: seem to be acting like doctors lately where you buy
- 25:41Speaker 1: something and they say, you'll get it tomorrow. The minute
- 25:44Speaker 1: you buy it. Actually, we mean next Thursday.
- 25:47Speaker 5: That just happened to me too.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Constantly.
- 25:50Speaker 4: They've been doing that lately.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Yeah. And what's your jeers, champ?
- 25:52Speaker 2: Chammy.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Yeah. What's your jeers, champ? What's your jeers, Sammy?
- 25:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 25:59Speaker 9: My jeers is that I was on a flight. with
- 26:03Speaker 9: a bunch of people who were coming home from Burning Man.
- 26:07Speaker 4: They were stinky.
- 26:08Speaker 17: They were dirty.
- 26:10Speaker 18: They hadn't showered in days. They had dust from the
- 26:12Speaker 18: playa all over them.
- 26:14Speaker 9: Even the luggage that came out had dust all over it.
- 26:17Speaker 18: You're seeing it come out with your luggage that now
- 26:19Speaker 18: has dust all over it.
- 26:20Speaker 9: And you're like, can we make rules and make them
- 26:22Speaker 9: shower before they get on flights and clean their crap?
- 26:25Speaker 2: Dude, I see and hear about things from Burning Man... for,
- 26:28Speaker 2: I don't know, years.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Yeah, years. None of it.
- 26:30Speaker 2: There's not ever been one thing where I go, all right,
- 26:32Speaker 2: that sounds kind of appealing.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:34Speaker 2: There's nothing about it that seems appealing.
- 26:36Speaker 4: A dust storm with dirty hippies.
- 26:39Speaker 17: Yeah. It's disgusting.
- 26:41Speaker 9: And the truth of it is, I don't know that
- 26:44Speaker 9: these people shower regularly anyways.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I don't know that Burning Man had.
- 26:49Speaker 18: Anything to do with it. It was just a concentrated
- 26:51Speaker 18: amount of people on the flight.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Just dust bags. 877-44-WOODY.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Send us a text over to 22987. We'll take a
- 26:59Speaker 2: quick break. More Woody shows next within the trending news headlines.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Hang on. The Woody Show will be right back. Not
- 27:07Speaker 1: the name of the mascot, per se. Yeah. Per se? Ooh,
- 27:10Speaker 1: that's fancy. Yeah, per se is always fancy. I love
- 27:14Speaker 1: some per se.
- 27:17Speaker 19: That's a nice.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Croissant there, per se.
- 27:21Speaker 1: All right, we'll go over.
- 27:27Speaker 2: To Gina Grand for the trending news headlines.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Oh, this weekend was all about the NFL regular season
- 27:33Speaker 4: kicking off. Last night on Sunday Night Football, the Giants
- 27:36Speaker 4: beat Dallas 28-20.
- 27:37Speaker 2: See, another team that everybody was glazing, man.
- 27:40Speaker 1: The Cowboys.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Like, why anybody would ever jump on the Cowboys bandwagon
- 27:45Speaker 2: out of the gate?
- 27:46Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Based on what we've seen over, you know, most of
- 27:49Speaker 2: recent history, right?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Yeah. 20 years. What are you doing?
- 27:53Speaker 2: Well, like Rams, you know, all these teams that everybody
- 27:57Speaker 2: was like, oh, now it's week one. There's no reason
- 28:00Speaker 2: to overreact.
- 28:01Speaker 1: To week one. They got to shake the dust off.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Still kind of, you know.
- 28:04Speaker 2: When you watch it and all the people who are
- 28:06Speaker 2: supposed to be the experts and they get everything so wrong.
- 28:09Speaker 1: That's fun. That's my favorite. I do enjoy that.
- 28:11Speaker 4: I love listening to that.
- 28:12Speaker 18: I still thought they would beat the Giants, though.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I wasn't quite sure just because, you know, Harbaugh, he's
- 28:19Speaker 2: a good guy as much as I hate him as
- 28:21Speaker 2: a Steelers fan because of all his years with the Ravens.
- 28:24Speaker 1: He's still a good coach. You know what I mean?
- 28:26Speaker 2: So he's going to get the best out of whatever
- 28:27Speaker 2: players he's got.
- 28:28Speaker 1: He's that kind of coach.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Of course, yeah.
- 28:30Speaker 5: His brother was supposed to do the same for my Chargers,
- 28:32Speaker 5: and how's that going?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:34Speaker 1: And the cowboy's going to cowboy.
- 28:35Speaker 10: Right.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yes. Until proven otherwise.
- 28:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Right?
- 28:40Speaker 4: Well, week one wraps up tonight with Denver at Kansas
- 28:42Speaker 4: City on Monday Night Football. The biggest winner, though, has
- 28:45Speaker 4: to be Caleb Williams and the Bears. They put up
- 28:47Speaker 4: nearly 60 points, crushing Carolina 59-37. And the biggest losers
- 28:53Speaker 4: of week one, obviously, Rams, who not only lost their
- 28:56Speaker 4: game to the Niners, but who lost Miles Garrett to
- 28:59Speaker 4: the IR. He's got to have surgery on his knee, right?
- 29:02Speaker 4: And second losers, the Chargers. They lost to Arizona. The
- 29:07Speaker 4: team that Woody predicts to finish the season with the
- 29:09Speaker 4: worst record in the NFL.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Yeah. That was shocking.
- 29:14Speaker 4: Well, the only win for the Chargers fans is the
- 29:16Speaker 4: video of Justin Herbert's fiancée, you know, Jeff's girl, Madison Beer,
- 29:20Speaker 4: bouncing up and down, cheering him on. So everybody won there.
- 29:24Speaker 4: And investigators think they know what killed Hayden Panettiere. She
- 29:29Speaker 4: apparently died after taking a black market oxycodone pill that
- 29:33Speaker 4: was laced with fentanyl. Cops say that Hayden had a
- 29:36Speaker 4: longtime dealer in L.A. who allegedly supplied her with a
- 29:39Speaker 4: bunch of prescription drugs. and they think she took the
- 29:41Speaker 4: fatal pill the morning she died in South Carolina. So
- 29:44Speaker 4: her boyfriend tried giving her Narcan before paramedics arrived, but
- 29:47Speaker 4: that didn't work. The DEA is trying to trace that
- 29:50Speaker 4: pill back to the person who sold it to her. Now,
- 29:53Speaker 4: toxicology results are still pending, so this is the investigator's
- 29:57Speaker 4: theory that rather than the official cause of death, but
- 30:00Speaker 4: sounds pretty reasonable.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Well, when you're taking unprescribed oxycodone, it's laced with fentanyl.
- 30:05Speaker 1: It's a pretty safe bet.
- 30:06Speaker 4: What chance do you have?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm putting fentanyl on the same list as cryptocurrency
- 30:11Speaker 1: for me. I will never understand it.
- 30:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 1: You can be... A speck of dust of size of
- 30:17Speaker 1: that will kill you. In the room.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Yeah, in the room with you.
- 30:19Speaker 1: But you can also be a dealer and have a
- 30:21Speaker 1: ton of it. I just don't get it.
- 30:23Speaker 4: I know. Maybe it's all about the saran wrap.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I guess so. Or the way it gets into your system.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Well, it just, yeah.
- 30:28Speaker 1: There was all that.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Fear-mongering over, you know, don't pick up a dollar bill
- 30:34Speaker 2: if you see it on the ground.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Right.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Because there could be like one little fleck of fentanyl
- 30:40Speaker 2: on it and then you could, that could kill you.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Still taking that chance. Or duty. Yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Or you hear about, you know, cops who are busting somebody.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Right. They're just in the same room with it. Yeah.
- 30:49Speaker 11: Right.
- 30:49Speaker 1: But then you hear about other people who.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Not a big deal.
- 30:52Speaker 5: Yeah, they have a backpack full.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:54Speaker 2: How can you put any of it in a joint
- 30:56Speaker 2: or something or laced with whatever, oxycodone?
- 31:00Speaker 4: Without dying immediately.
- 31:01Speaker 1: So not getting.
- 31:02Speaker 8: Right.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I'm with you on that.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:03Speaker 5: It's probably the way they cut it up. You know,
- 31:05Speaker 5: the dealers and all that stuff. Some is more potent
- 31:07Speaker 5: because it's not diluted. So that's probably the case.
- 31:11Speaker 4: But to Greg's point, how are the dealers cutting it up?
- 31:13Speaker 1: Yeah, how is anybody in the same room? But Greg,
- 31:15Speaker 1: I do take.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Quite a bit of pride in not knowing certain things
- 31:18Speaker 2: when it comes to drugs.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Like, I'm glad I'm not like some kind of like
- 31:22Speaker 2: well-versed expert.
- 31:23Speaker 11: Totally.
- 31:23Speaker 1: It makes me feel better about myself. Even stuff I've
- 31:25Speaker 1: been explained, I still don't get. Like, I still don't
- 31:28Speaker 1: get what an eight ball is.
- 31:29Speaker 4: You're committed to not knowing what an.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Eight ball is.
- 31:32Speaker 5: What about a speedball?
- 31:33Speaker 1: Don't know.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Well, the one juror who refused to acquit Lindsay Clancy
- 31:38Speaker 4: by reason of insanity and ended up forcing a mistrial,
- 31:40Speaker 4: by the way, now has people raising money for him.
- 31:43Speaker 4: It's a fundraiser called Give, Send, Go. That's a new
- 31:46Speaker 4: one to me. It's called Stand with the Juror. And
- 31:49Speaker 4: it has already brought in more than $ 70, 000 out of
- 31:51Speaker 4: $ 100, 000 to help cover security lawyers and lost wages.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Okay, so I would love to give money to this
- 31:57Speaker 2: guy because I feel bad for him. I mean, nobody
- 32:00Speaker 2: wants to be on jury duty, right? So you get called,
- 32:03Speaker 2: you spend all this time, and now you're the one person,
- 32:06Speaker 2: everybody's trying to dox, everybody's trying to figure out who
- 32:08Speaker 2: this is. So part of me thinks that this GoFundMe
- 32:11Speaker 2: thing It's to.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Bring him out of hiding. Like, oh, there's all this money. Like, oh,
- 32:16Speaker 1: this is how we're going to find out who this
- 32:17Speaker 1: guy is.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Come claim your lottery ticket.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Everybody's so desperate because they want to burn this guy
- 32:21Speaker 2: to the ground.
- 32:22Speaker 12: Huh.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I never thought of it that way. Look, he did
- 32:24Speaker 1: what he was supposed to do as a juror. If
- 32:27Speaker 1: he didn't feel that way... Well, that's what they're saying.
- 32:29Speaker 5: Just because he's an idiot doesn't mean.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Yeah, but they said he was on his phone a lot.
- 32:32Speaker 4: He wasn't really participating. Like, I don't know.
- 32:34Speaker 1: I was like, did the mob get to him?
- 32:36Speaker 4: Like, why is this guy being such a holdout? I
- 32:38Speaker 4: don't know if we'll ever know the answer to that.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Because he's going to get... Like what he said, he's
- 32:42Speaker 3: going to get doxxed like crazy.
- 32:43Speaker 4: Well, the jury was deadlocked 11 to 1 after more
- 32:46Speaker 4: than 38 hours of deliberations. And now a bunch of
- 32:49Speaker 4: the other jurors have come out accusing him of, like
- 32:51Speaker 4: I said, ignoring reasonable doubt, refusing to back up his
- 32:54Speaker 4: position with evidence. And Clancy's attorney apparently even tried to
- 32:58Speaker 4: have him removed during deliberations, but the judge kept him on.
- 33:00Speaker 1: He was put there by God. Yeah, a force majeure.
- 33:03Speaker 1: He was put there by God because God's like, wait,
- 33:05Speaker 1: hold on. You mean these other people are going to
- 33:07Speaker 1: let this woman get away with strangling her kids? No,
- 33:10Speaker 1: I thought it was the other way around.
- 33:11Speaker 4: It's the other way around. I mean, he was the
- 33:13Speaker 4: one I was.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Like, I don't know. That's why I'm calling it me. No, no, no.
- 33:16Speaker 2: What I'm saying is like the God put him on
- 33:18Speaker 2: that jury to make it so it's this way.
- 33:21Speaker 1: He's like, wait a minute.
- 33:22Speaker 2: These other jurors are going to make it so she's
- 33:24Speaker 2: not guilty by reason of insanity.
- 33:26Speaker 5: I don't think that was.
- 33:27Speaker 1: But that's yes.
- 33:28Speaker 4: But now it's a mistrial. So it's even better for her.
- 33:33Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 33:35Speaker 4: She could have gone to a hospital for the rest
- 33:37Speaker 4: of her life, or she could just walk out with
- 33:39Speaker 4: a mistrial.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they're going to retry her. Oh, for sure. They've
- 33:42Speaker 1: got to retry her. I thought that was automatic in
- 33:45Speaker 1: a long jury. Yeah.
- 33:47Speaker 18: And did you see the husband came out?
- 33:49Speaker 9: Because all these people on TikTok and other stuff, they
- 33:52Speaker 9: were all saying that he did it.
- 33:54Speaker 18: He actually murdered the kids, all the conspiracy theories.
- 33:56Speaker 9: And he filed a defamation of character lawsuit with all
- 34:01Speaker 9: this stuff. So her lawyers had to come out and
- 34:03Speaker 9: say he didn't do it. So that because everyone know
- 34:07Speaker 9: there was so many.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Theories on that. But for the trial, that wasn't even
- 34:10Speaker 4: on the table.
- 34:11Speaker 5: Right.
- 34:11Speaker 12: No, I know.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Yeah. They said since the beginning that it wasn't him. Yeah.
- 34:15Speaker 3: But they kept on social media. You let those hens online.
- 34:19Speaker 1: But you guys, TikTok.
- 34:21Speaker 4: Well, some of the biggest names in artificial intelligence are
- 34:24Speaker 4: now thinking maybe they should pump the brakes a little bit.
- 34:27Speaker 4: One of the AI employees– one for AI, rather, employee
- 34:30Speaker 4: Jacob Coxon, he quit Anthropic last week and says AI
- 34:33Speaker 4: companies are rushing to improve superintelligence without enough safeguards. He
- 34:38Speaker 4: even says he believes AI could potentially kill all of
- 34:40Speaker 4: us by the end of the decade.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I saw that headline.
- 34:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 34:43Speaker 4: It's a pretty catchy headline.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah. So Anderson Cooper, right? Yeah. Okay.
- 34:49Speaker 2: So Anderson Cooper was interviewing this other dude, this AI expert.
- 34:53Speaker 2: And he was asked about this whole thing about can AI, well,
- 34:57Speaker 2: here's the clip.
- 34:58Speaker 1: He sounds like Mike the Showkiller.
- 35:00Speaker 20: The people building AI earnestly believe AI could kill all humans.
- 35:03Speaker 1: I personally think it is greater than 10% chance within
- 35:06Speaker 1: the next decade.
- 35:08Speaker 20: Do you believe that AI could kill all humans? So,
- 35:12Speaker 20: you know, I, I, you know, it's, it's funny, I,
- 35:15Speaker 20: I agree with, you know, and, and, and it's, it's,
- 35:18Speaker 20: you know, it's, it's, you know, now, now I, I,
- 35:20Speaker 20: you know, I, I, I think I already said, you know,
- 35:22Speaker 20: these sort of, I, I, you know, I think there's
- 35:25Speaker 20: some chance that things go wrong.
- 35:26Speaker 1: But, you know, but, you know, but, but, but it's not,
- 35:30Speaker 1: it's not all that high. Yeah. Oh, my effing God.
- 35:34Speaker 1: That's not real.
- 35:35Speaker 3: You doctored that. I did doctor it.
- 35:40Speaker 2: I cut out the rest of his point because he
- 35:42Speaker 2: was eye-eyeing it a lot. That's all I heard because
- 35:45Speaker 2: Jeff was over there listening to this interview.
- 35:47Speaker 1: I go, who the hell is this guy? Sounds like
- 35:49Speaker 1: Mike the show killer. His voice twig.
- 35:54Speaker 4: And I got no more clear of an understanding what
- 35:56Speaker 4: the hell is going on.
- 35:57Speaker 1: It's kind of like, you know. The next decade.
- 36:01Speaker 20: Do you believe that AI could kill all humans? So,
- 36:05Speaker 20: you know, I, you know, it's funny. I agree with,
- 36:09Speaker 20: you know, and it's, you know, it's, you know, now I,
- 36:13Speaker 20: you know, I think I already said, you know, these
- 36:16Speaker 20: sort of, I, you know, I think there's some chance
- 36:18Speaker 20: that things go wrong, but, you know, but, you know,
- 36:22Speaker 20: but it's not all that high.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Right?
- 36:25Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I get it now.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Crystal clear.
- 36:27Speaker 18: Well, I feel better.
- 36:30Speaker 4: We'll wrap up with a quick look at what the
- 36:32Speaker 4: movies are doing in the theaters this week. After six
- 36:35Speaker 4: straight weekends at number one, Spider-Man finally knocked out of
- 36:38Speaker 4: the top spot with Sammy.
- 36:40Speaker 12: Yes.
- 36:41Speaker 4: Practical Magic 2. Heck yes. That debuted at number one
- 36:44Speaker 4: with $ 30 million.
- 36:45Speaker 1: What's that about?
- 36:46Speaker 9: Well, Practical Magic, there was already a first movie and
- 36:49Speaker 9: then the second one. It's obviously about witches, Sandra Bullock
- 36:51Speaker 9: and Nicole Kidman, and they are witches.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Ask your daughter. Right, yes.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not on your radar.
- 36:56Speaker 1: So this is the sequel.
- 36:57Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 5: I went to the movies this weekend and there were
- 37:00Speaker 5: nothing but like Gen X and millennial women all together
- 37:04Speaker 5: on like a girl's day out watching the movie.
- 37:07Speaker 1: It was all for Practical Magic, dude. Is it for kids? No.
- 37:11Speaker 5: It's like women in their 30s.
- 37:13Speaker 4: I always got Practical Magic and Hocus Pocus mixed up
- 37:15Speaker 4: and I've never seen either one.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Are they different? Not even close. What did you go see?
- 37:19Speaker 5: I went and saw Runner with Owen Wilson and some
- 37:22Speaker 5: buff-ass action dude.
- 37:23Speaker 1: It was good. Was he hot?
- 37:23Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Did you get extra butter on your popcorn?
- 37:30Speaker 5: I did. I had a hole in the bottom of
- 37:32Speaker 5: my bucket, too.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Well, that's what's going on, Woody.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Gina Grad.
- 37:38Speaker 4: You are like the male equivalent of a basic bitch.
- 37:42Speaker 7: Basic means you will go with the most basic popular
- 37:45Speaker 7: option and you have no thoughts.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Or originality in your brain. You just go for what
- 37:49Speaker 1: everyone else is doing. The Woody Show. All right, welcome back, everybody. Yeah.
- 37:57Speaker 2: I saw this while we were gone. I thought this
- 37:58Speaker 2: was pretty funny, this story. South Park's new season.
- 38:01Speaker 14: The creators of South Park have announced a name change
- 38:04Speaker 14: ahead of their new season. Trey Parker and Matt Stone,
- 38:07Speaker 14: in an apparent nod to President Trump's penchant for renaming
- 38:10Speaker 14: things America, say they will do the same. Quote, we
- 38:14Speaker 14: are changing the name of South Park to South America.
- 38:17Speaker 14: Season 29 of South America starts on the 16th on
- 38:21Speaker 14: Comedy Central and Paramount +.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Love it. It's so great.
- 38:25Speaker 4: It's so them.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Yeah. That's good. Just get high and start writing stuff.
- 38:29Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Make a billion dollars. So fun. Oh, my God. Their
- 38:31Speaker 1: deal is insane. Awesome. Also, I kept seeing a lot
- 38:38Speaker 1: about this story where these dudes, they dug into these televisions,
- 38:44Speaker 1: these smart TVs, and they showed what they found about how,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I think it was LG.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Was that the brand that they were using their demonstration for?
- 38:56Speaker 2: But they said it's for basically all of them. All
- 38:57Speaker 2: these smart TVs are doing the same thing where even
- 39:01Speaker 2: when the TV is off and disconnected from the internet,
- 39:05Speaker 2: it is still listening to everything that's happening. There's microphones.
- 39:10Speaker 2: It's transcribing everything in plain text.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Yeah. And they were able to get in there and
- 39:15Speaker 1: show you. If you go online, there's tons of videos
- 39:17Speaker 1: about it.
- 39:17Speaker 4: When it's off and disconnected.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:19Speaker 2: So what happens is even if it's disconnected from the network,
- 39:22Speaker 2: like it's not set up on your Wi-Fi, no Ethernet. Greg,
- 39:25Speaker 2: that's the cable, the hard wire into your Internet.
- 39:27Speaker 1: That's the yellow one.
- 39:29Speaker 4: Right?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it could be different colors.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Anyway, so what would happen is it would collect everything,
- 39:36Speaker 2: and then the next time it connected to it, the
- 39:39Speaker 2: next time you set it up for something, or connected
- 39:41Speaker 2: it to the network, then it would send. What the
- 39:44Speaker 2: manufacturers do, according to their research, and they have video
- 39:49Speaker 2: and all this stuff to show everybody what's going on,
- 39:53Speaker 2: is if there's a public Wi-Fi that becomes available to
- 39:56Speaker 2: the TV, it will connect to that and then send
- 39:58Speaker 2: all the information. Because that's one of the reasons that
- 40:00Speaker 2: the TVs have been getting so inexpensive. is because the
- 40:04Speaker 2: TV companies, LG and all the other ones, all the same,
- 40:07Speaker 2: they're all making money by selling your data. That's how
- 40:11Speaker 2: it knows what you're watching, what you're talking about. And
- 40:15Speaker 2: they pointed out in one of the articles, every remote
- 40:18Speaker 2: now has where you could talk into it.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Oh, yes. I love that feature.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Okay, well, the reason they did that is not for convenience.
- 40:24Speaker 2: It's to put a microphone closer to where you are.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 40:28Speaker 4: This feels very conspiracy theory.
- 40:30Speaker 5: I don't like this.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Watch the video, dude.
- 40:31Speaker 2: No, I don't like this. Video's out there, and now
- 40:35Speaker 2: LG has gone on the defensive against this, and they
- 40:40Speaker 2: issued a statement saying that their products continuously record or
- 40:43Speaker 2: transmit users' conversations. LG says their products only record voices...
- 40:50Speaker 2: when users state a quote wake word, but wake word or,
- 40:55Speaker 2: or hit a corresponding voice AI button on a remote control.
- 40:59Speaker 3: So this guy named Palmer lucky, he's the guy that
- 41:03Speaker 3: invented the Oculus. And now he has this military defense company.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:08Speaker 3: He's been like talking about this for, I would say
- 41:11Speaker 3: probably a year and a half now because everybody, you know,
- 41:14Speaker 3: is afraid of everything. And he's been calling out, the
- 41:17Speaker 3: televisions since the beginning. And he says, they also like,
- 41:20Speaker 3: they take frame by frame copies of like everything.
- 41:23Speaker 5: That you're watching.
- 41:24Speaker 2: So like Samsung, even if you plug in an HDMI
- 41:28Speaker 2: and you're streaming it from something else, it'll know exactly
- 41:31Speaker 2: what you're watching and send that information out and they'll
- 41:34Speaker 2: sell that information.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Get off my D.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I have Samsung TVs in my house. And so there's
- 41:40Speaker 2: a fingerprinting switch, it's called. So you would go home, settings,
- 41:44Speaker 2: all setting and privacy choices. You turn off viewing information services.
- 41:50Speaker 2: And that's the one stopping the screen fingerprinting right there
- 41:53Speaker 2: at the source, right? If you have Vizio, because a
- 41:56Speaker 2: friend of mine has Vizio TVs.
- 41:57Speaker 1: I think that's what I have.
- 41:58Speaker 2: It's the same kind of thing. There was another one
- 42:00Speaker 2: where they named it something that sounds like it would
- 42:03Speaker 2: be a benefit. So if you just saw it in
- 42:05Speaker 2: a menu, you wouldn't automatically turn it off. You would
- 42:09Speaker 2: leave that on, but that's the data collection part or
- 42:12Speaker 2: the listening on the conversation. But it was really interesting
- 42:14Speaker 2: because in the video, they unplugged the TV from the Ethernet.
- 42:20Speaker 2: They were like, all right, so he's now showing that
- 42:22Speaker 2: it's not connected. It's a lost network connection. He goes,
- 42:25Speaker 2: but we're still talking and we're still having a conversation, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Well,
- 42:29Speaker 2: then they plug it back in. And that whole part
- 42:31Speaker 2: of the conversation showed up on the screen that was
- 42:34Speaker 2: mirroring what was being read by, by the TV.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Yeah. I like to think that out of the hundreds
- 42:40Speaker 1: of millions of people and TVs out there, that they're
- 42:43Speaker 1: really not reading my transcripts. You know, like, who's looking
- 42:47Speaker 1: at that? I see some pretty crazy things in front
- 42:48Speaker 1: of that TV. Well, think about this.
- 42:50Speaker 2: There's nobody, not a person, sitting there doing it. But
- 42:54Speaker 2: with AI and everything else, everything is being monitored. So
- 42:58Speaker 2: what could happen is that even things that aren't necessarily
- 43:02Speaker 2: a thing get flagged. Like, kind of like you post
- 43:05Speaker 2: something innocuous on social media. but they always have these
- 43:08Speaker 2: AI things that are screening for different menace noses more
- 43:10Speaker 2: than anybody.
- 43:11Speaker 1: And you're like, wait, hold on there.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Or the carton arcs thing, you know, will automatically get
- 43:15Speaker 2: flagged as like bullying.
- 43:17Speaker 5: Nobody's getting a physical person.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Correct.
- 43:20Speaker 2: But then it gets sent to maybe an authority, go
- 43:22Speaker 2: look into it. And so I don't, I don't know, man,
- 43:24Speaker 2: it's this big police state kind of thing, which is
- 43:26Speaker 2: really annoying. And the fact that, you know, you're having
- 43:28Speaker 2: these private conversations in your home about things that are,
- 43:31Speaker 2: you know, uh, you know, social security numbers and.
- 43:33Speaker 3: These different, uh, That's why my biggest advice is just
- 43:38Speaker 3: shut up. I mean, if you're doing anything crazy.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Don't speak in your own home.
- 43:42Speaker 4: Why don't we go in a different room away from
- 43:44Speaker 4: the TV?
- 43:44Speaker 3: Yeah, go stand out in a field somewhere. I don't
- 43:47Speaker 3: know because like every single device, if you watch it,
- 43:52Speaker 3: everything is about.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Recording you now.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Like if you go to the doctor's office, the second thing,
- 43:56Speaker 3: the first thing they do now is turn on their
- 43:57Speaker 3: iPad and record everything. Everything being said is being recorded.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Can they do that?
- 44:03Speaker 4: That's not very helpful.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Yeah, they ask you.
- 44:04Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 44:05Speaker 4: I don't remember that.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Yeah, they ask you.
- 44:06Speaker 2: They just did it when we brought the dog in
- 44:08Speaker 2: for her surgery.
- 44:10Speaker 4: For a dog?
- 44:11Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Yeah, they did the same thing.
- 44:13Speaker 5: Yeah, and the new Apple Watch actually can go back
- 44:15Speaker 5: 10 seconds. And if you forget to turn on a
- 44:17Speaker 5: recording to record previously what you're saying and a whole
- 44:21Speaker 5: conversation right on your watch. See, guys, convenience.
- 44:25Speaker 1: It's so awesome. It's life-changing. Yeah. Not going to give
- 44:29Speaker 1: up the smart TV, though.
- 44:31Speaker 2: My question, let's just say for the sake of argument,
- 44:33Speaker 2: somebody wanted to try to get you on something. I
- 44:36Speaker 2: know in a lot of states, there has to be
- 44:38Speaker 2: some kind of notification that you are being recorded.
- 44:40Speaker 5: Yes, awareness.
- 44:41Speaker 1: So that stuff technically couldn't be used against you. True.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Well, it could be used against you in the court
- 44:48Speaker 3: of public opinion, but yeah, like going after you.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yeah, like from a straight legal sense, if that's what
- 44:55Speaker 2: you're worried about.
- 44:56Speaker 18: But isn't it in the terms and conditions that nobody reads?
- 44:59Speaker 4: You kept it on because it sounded like a good thing,
- 45:02Speaker 4: so that's on you.
- 45:03Speaker 2: That is also true. Maybe you agree to it. We've
- 45:06Speaker 2: updated your terms of service.
- 45:08Speaker 4: I've never once clicked on those.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I'm just trying to watch Breaking Bad.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Yeah, if there's something that you have That you don't
- 45:17Speaker 3: want out there. And it's like living on your iCloud
- 45:20Speaker 3: or your email or something.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Or in your brain. Yeah, you're just thinking it.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Dude, there was something that I was thinking about. Didn't
- 45:29Speaker 3: even type it or anything. And it like this one video.
- 45:33Speaker 3: And then I open up my phone.
- 45:34Speaker 1: It's there. It's there.
- 45:35Speaker 5: Like it's so random.
- 45:36Speaker 3: But I'm just saying like if there's something in your
- 45:39Speaker 3: email or in your iCloud or something that you don't
- 45:41Speaker 3: want out there.
- 45:43Speaker 2: It's no longer secure with AI. See, I'm watching all
- 45:45Speaker 2: this stuff and I'm reading all this stuff. And I've
- 45:47Speaker 2: never been super paranoid about stuff like that. But I
- 45:50Speaker 2: told you before, I don't even talk to myself anymore
- 45:52Speaker 2: out loud.
- 45:53Speaker 1: I don't.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Because God knows how that could end up. People in radio,
- 45:58Speaker 2: we talk about it all the time. The rules of
- 46:00Speaker 2: what you can and can't say, they all go, well,
- 46:03Speaker 2: how would it look in print? Because when you say something,
- 46:05Speaker 2: there's inflection. You could pick up a tone. You could say,
- 46:08Speaker 2: if something is tongue-in-cheek.
- 46:10Speaker 1: There's context.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Right, there's more context to it, but when it's in
- 46:13Speaker 2: black and white, and that's the thing. It's not about
- 46:15Speaker 2: what I'm saying, it's about, well, how would this look
- 46:18Speaker 2: in writing? It gets you crazy. It gets you nuts.
- 46:23Speaker 2: You're talking about something that you just thought.
- 46:27Speaker 5: I know.
- 46:29Speaker 9: Well, they're saying, too, with ChatGPT, people who are just
- 46:32Speaker 9: talking to it, not telling them anything necessarily personal about themselves,
- 46:36Speaker 9: it can predict what age you are, what gender you are,
- 46:39Speaker 9: so much about you. And they're saying to ask ChatGPT, like,
- 46:43Speaker 9: what do you know about me? And they'll– I mean,
- 46:45Speaker 9: it will tell.
- 46:45Speaker 18: You and give you a full thing.
- 46:47Speaker 3: And you've never even told it.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:49Speaker 2: So I– I was watching whatever it was. I had
- 46:54Speaker 2: a question like, Oh, that's interesting. I wonder how, you know,
- 46:57Speaker 2: just Google it.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Totally. Now I won't even, if it has anything to
- 47:00Speaker 1: do with any kind.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Of like criminal or uh you know uh legal anything
- 47:06Speaker 2: that could potentially be trouble i don't even google it
- 47:09Speaker 2: i'm like you know what i'll stay ignorant because i
- 47:11Speaker 2: don't want to be like well uh we look through
- 47:14Speaker 2: what is a google search and he just so happened
- 47:17Speaker 2: like so he googled every murder it would be a
- 47:20Speaker 2: coincidence and i had to go no no i was
- 47:22Speaker 2: watching you know this dateline thing i was watching something
- 47:24Speaker 2: on the news and i wondered how that would affect.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Blah blah blah blah like the the Lindsay Clancy thing.
- 47:30Speaker 1: I was looking at, I had some questions.
- 47:31Speaker 2: I'd be going away forever. Dude, that's, it's made me
- 47:34Speaker 2: that paranoid.
- 47:35Speaker 1: It's made me that nuts. Any crime documentary, I'm Googling. Yeah,
- 47:39Speaker 1: I mean. What happened to this person?
- 47:40Speaker 4: Very dark stuff.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Were they guilty? Oh, yeah.
- 47:43Speaker 3: It gets even crazier with, when you step into the
- 47:46Speaker 3: AI agents things that they have too, where you're basically
- 47:50Speaker 3: like making assistance. Like I was playing around with it
- 47:53Speaker 3: the other day and I was just like working on
- 47:56Speaker 3: some ideas and, And then it goes, oh, let me
- 47:59Speaker 3: go ahead and build that for you. I didn't even
- 48:00Speaker 3: ask it to build it for me. It built me
- 48:02Speaker 3: this entire website without even asking me for approval. And
- 48:07Speaker 3: so here you go. And I'm like, well, what about
- 48:10Speaker 3: if it put.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Out a website I didn't want to put out there
- 48:13Speaker 1: and then made it live?
- 48:14Speaker 5: And then my name's.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Attached to it. Exactly right. Yeah. It's insane. So I think.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Because AI with videos and not knowing what's real, what's
- 48:24Speaker 2: not real, they're talking about the rise of influencers who
- 48:27Speaker 2: aren't even people.
- 48:28Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 48:28Speaker 1: It's just an AI-generated person. It's not a real person. Yeah.
- 48:32Speaker 2: And what they're saying aren't real things.
- 48:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 48:35Speaker 2: This is what social media has become. And they're showing–
- 48:39Speaker 2: and it could be interesting. Greg, this could be the answer.
- 48:41Speaker 13: Uh-huh.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Because more and more people are just moving away from
- 48:44Speaker 2: social media and going, well, you know what? It's all
- 48:46Speaker 2: BS anyway. It's fake news. It's fake people. It's fake videos.
- 48:50Speaker 1: The times suck. It's not worth it. Right.
- 48:53Speaker 2: And so this could be, not the death.
- 48:56Speaker 1: But it could be a major blow to social media
- 48:59Speaker 1: and how people are so social media obsessed. I wish
- 49:03Speaker 1: we could do that.
- 49:03Speaker 2: So if we're looking for the silver lining in all
- 49:06Speaker 2: this craziness, that could be it.
- 49:09Speaker 1: I do want to do that social experiment where nobody
- 49:11Speaker 1: has access to it for one week and see how
- 49:13Speaker 1: the world changes. Yeah. Well, let's start with one day.
- 49:16Speaker 3: Well, remember when TikTok wasn't available for a day?
- 49:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:19Speaker 5: Like, people still lived.
- 49:20Speaker 1: People survived.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Yeah, because you can't believe anything you see on there.
- 49:23Speaker 8: No.
- 49:23Speaker 1: You know, half of it's made up anyway.
- 49:26Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why.
- 49:27Speaker 2: There's other ways to communicate and share photos with your
- 49:29Speaker 2: friends and family.
- 49:30Speaker 15: Right.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Yeah, physical items, dude, are like coming back.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:33Speaker 5: Like crazy.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Love it.
- 49:35Speaker 2: So this could be it. This could be where they
- 49:37Speaker 2: all start getting crushed.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Let's kill social media and let's kill the touch screen
- 49:41Speaker 1: and bring back knobs. Yes, do it! You know, Greg
- 49:44Speaker 1: likes a good knob. I like knobs.
- 49:47Speaker 4: These prices are insane.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Cheers and jeers. Greg Gorey, cheers to my dog Callie
- 50:01Speaker 1: for turning 11 and having an awesome birthday. She got
- 50:04Speaker 1: her annual meatloaf, although I didn't shave it like a
- 50:06Speaker 1: bone this time around. It just wasn't working out. And
- 50:09Speaker 1: we camped, which means we slept in the guest room
- 50:11Speaker 1: with her. That's the only bed she's allowed on. So
- 50:15Speaker 1: cheers to Callie, the best dog on planet Earth. Cheers. Cheers.
- 50:20Speaker 1: So what all does that entail?
- 50:21Speaker 2: I'm just curious.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Going into the guest room and laying a blanket on
- 50:25Speaker 1: top of the bed that she's allowed to lie on.
- 50:27Speaker 4: So she can't snuggle up in the bed.
- 50:29Speaker 10: No, no.
- 50:30Speaker 1: But that's it. And then. We camped. So you spent
- 50:33Speaker 1: the night in there as well. Oh, yeah. Both of us.
- 50:35Speaker 4: They glamped.
- 50:36Speaker 1: With her in the middle. It was just so sweet.
- 50:39Speaker 1: She's the best. Cheers to Woody and Seabass and any
- 50:44Speaker 1: other non-believer in ghosts. Because there's only one explanation for this.
- 50:49Speaker 1: I was hanging out with my parents in their home office,
- 50:51Speaker 1: which used to be my brother's bedroom. Looking at a
- 50:55Speaker 1: photo on the shelf here and there and just kind
- 50:57Speaker 1: of looking at stuff. And then the next morning... In
- 51:00Speaker 1: the middle of the floor was a photo on one
- 51:03Speaker 1: side is me, on the other side is my brother.
- 51:05Speaker 1: In a frame that is at a 45 degree angle,
- 51:08Speaker 1: as solid as can be. It's not like a breeze
- 51:10Speaker 1: blew it off the shelf. And it's in the middle
- 51:12Speaker 1: of the room on the floor the next morning. What?
- 51:16Speaker 1: Was anything else knocked over? No, just a picture of
- 51:18Speaker 1: me and a picture of my brother.
- 51:20Speaker 10: Weird.
- 51:21Speaker 1: In a frame, not like floating down in a photograph.
- 51:23Speaker 1: It wasn't a piece of paper that you walked by
- 51:25Speaker 1: and it wafted onto the floor. Look, Greg. This has
- 51:28Speaker 1: to be a ghost. Now you set this up. This
- 51:29Speaker 1: is absolute proof of it.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Saying I wouldn't believe. I'm not saying I don't believe.
- 51:33Speaker 2: But what does this prove or show or tell you?
- 51:36Speaker 1: That it's a ghost. And my brother was trying to visit.
- 51:40Speaker 1: My brother was communicating because he's no longer of this earth.
- 51:43Speaker 1: And he was saying, oh, look, Greg's hanging out with
- 51:46Speaker 1: mom and dad. I'm going to make myself known, too,
- 51:49Speaker 1: and launch this picture off a shelf five feet and
- 51:52Speaker 1: it lands in the middle of a floor. I'm on board.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Do you think your ghost brother doesn't think that you
- 51:57Speaker 2: remember him?
- 51:58Speaker 12: No.
- 51:59Speaker 5: Does he know that you hate picking things up?
- 52:01Speaker 4: Stop putting words in Ghost Brother's mouth.
- 52:03Speaker 1: We don't know how they try to communicate with us.
- 52:05Speaker 1: This has got to be just one small gesture. Why
- 52:08Speaker 1: is it always things for Greg? You hear other people,
- 52:10Speaker 1: they have visions of something. But why is it for
- 52:12Speaker 1: Greg where everything is thrown across the room? Yes, that's
- 52:15Speaker 1: what I was about to bring up. That's a good question, Woody.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Why am I a victim of things being thrown?
- 52:20Speaker 3: I have a slight theory, Greg. After you have had
- 52:24Speaker 3: a couple of drinks all night, Do you think maybe
- 52:29Speaker 3: at the end of the night, you maybe knock something
- 52:32Speaker 3: over and then the next morning you see it?
- 52:34Speaker 1: Yes. I walked into my parents' home office, grabbed a
- 52:37Speaker 1: picture and just tossed it onto the floor. No, I
- 52:39Speaker 1: don't think that for one second. I did not get wasted.
- 52:42Speaker 1: I did not get drunk. I believe in ghosts. I
- 52:45Speaker 1: saw a ghost as well, Greg. That's why I didn't
- 52:46Speaker 1: include you.
- 52:49Speaker 2: But we do know that Greg will hit things. You
- 52:52Speaker 2: fell into an elevator.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I only went into that room one time in the
- 52:55Speaker 1: middle of the day. I never went back into that room.
- 52:58Speaker 5: Did you ask your parents if they moved it? Did
- 53:00Speaker 5: you check with them?
- 53:00Speaker 1: My mom came running to me and she said, did
- 53:02Speaker 1: you take stuff off this shelf? I said, no, I
- 53:04Speaker 1: didn't touch a damn thing. I was in there for
- 53:06Speaker 1: five minutes. Wait, so your mom's the one that discovered it.
- 53:08Speaker 1: She's the one that found it. She moved it. No,
- 53:10Speaker 1: she did not. She's playing with you. Okay.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Okay, that sounds reasonable.
- 53:15Speaker 2: If I had a dumb kid, I would do that.
- 53:17Speaker 2: I'd be messing with them all the time.
- 53:19Speaker 4: That's why your jeers stands.
- 53:20Speaker 1: I promise you. Exactly. Thank you for reinforcing my jeers
- 53:24Speaker 1: to the non-believers. I promise you, my mom did not
- 53:28Speaker 1: do it. Question.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Why wouldn't your brother choose a family picture?
- 53:32Speaker 1: He was talking to Greg. He was only saying hi
- 53:34Speaker 1: to me. Was he telling Greg his next? He was
- 53:37Speaker 1: only saying hi to me. And he saw that I
- 53:39Speaker 1: was visiting my parents.
- 53:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 53:40Speaker 1: And hanging out. Thank you. And he wanted himself to
- 53:43Speaker 1: be part of the group, so he launched this picture
- 53:45Speaker 1: into the middle of a room. It was not the wind.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Why wouldn't he have placed it on your bed? He's lazy. Yeah,
- 53:52Speaker 1: he's too far away.
- 53:52Speaker 5: That's my other question.
- 53:53Speaker 7: I'm team ghost, but how come ghosts can only do
- 53:55Speaker 7: things like slightly knock stuff off in ways that other way...
- 53:58Speaker 7: Like Woody said, why would they place it on your
- 54:00Speaker 7: bed and write a message on.
- 54:01Speaker 1: It or something?
- 54:02Speaker 18: It takes a lot of energy to do things like that.
- 54:03Speaker 4: Yeah, they don't have telekinesis.
- 54:05Speaker 1: It's called psychic energy. Right. And you can't just lift
- 54:08Speaker 1: things and carry them to another area. You can just
- 54:10Speaker 1: knock them over. But you can have a gust. It's inexplicable.
- 54:14Speaker 1: But hey, at least we have definitive proof. Yes. I.
- 54:18Speaker 2: This is where I struggle. I love Greg so much,
- 54:21Speaker 2: and I want to, I feel like when Gina talks
- 54:25Speaker 2: about how she wants to believe, I want to believe
- 54:28Speaker 2: this for you.
- 54:29Speaker 1: What could it possibly be of this world to explain this?
- 54:32Speaker 2: If it was anybody else, I'm saying if it was
- 54:33Speaker 2: anybody else, be like, get out of here, you made
- 54:35Speaker 2: that up, you didn't find anything in the middle of
- 54:37Speaker 2: the room. I would believe that that never really happened.
- 54:40Speaker 2: You never really found this picture in the middle of
- 54:42Speaker 2: the room. Now, the fact that it's Greg, I do
- 54:44Speaker 2: believe that it was in the middle of the room,
- 54:47Speaker 2: but I'm now more apt to believe that your mom
- 54:49Speaker 2: really did put it in the middle though.
- 54:50Speaker 4: Why would she do that to him?
- 54:52Speaker 10: No way.
- 54:53Speaker 1: I don't think his mom would do that. I'm going
- 54:55Speaker 1: with the drunk theory. I'm saying that is the most...
- 54:57Speaker 1: I didn't go into that room.
- 54:59Speaker 2: No, I'm saying for me in my brain, that is
- 55:01Speaker 2: the most reasonable explanation. I'm not thinking that she... I
- 55:05Speaker 2: don't think that she would do that either, but that
- 55:07Speaker 2: would be the most reasonable explanation for it.
- 55:09Speaker 7: Well, the most reasonable would be house settling, minor earthquake,
- 55:13Speaker 7: someone bumps into a doorframe.
- 55:14Speaker 1: But just that one photo, nothing... You know how... you know,
- 55:17Speaker 1: older parents are kind of cluttery. Their bookshelves are just
- 55:20Speaker 1: packed with photos and trinkets and books and stuff. And
- 55:26Speaker 1: it's that one photo.
- 55:27Speaker 7: That's also confirmation bias because when the rando book falls
- 55:30Speaker 7: on the ground, someone will just pick it up and
- 55:31Speaker 7: put it back.
- 55:31Speaker 1: But there was nothing else there. Not this time, obviously.
- 55:34Speaker 1: But I don't know that I'm constantly finding random stuff
- 55:37Speaker 1: on the floor. I don't know.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Well, other than like my kid who is typically, you know,
- 55:41Speaker 2: with something, playing with something, leaving it, not putting it
- 55:44Speaker 2: back where it goes. But I'm saying, in my adult life,
- 55:48Speaker 2: I've never had something... just be in the middle of
- 55:51Speaker 2: a floor or.
- 55:52Speaker 1: On the ground. It's strange. Clearly, this means no ghosts
- 55:56Speaker 1: in my life. It's happened to me probably like five
- 55:58Speaker 1: times in my life.
- 55:59Speaker 4: Yeah, you're just not as enchanted as Greg is.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Have you not seen the movie Ghost? They can only
- 56:04Speaker 1: hit things. They can't pick them up. I have not
- 56:07Speaker 1: seen that movie. I guess I've got to watch that classic.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Of all people. I know, right? I heard it's really sweet.
- 56:14Speaker 16: How?
- 56:14Speaker 1: How is that possible?
- 56:15Speaker 4: I know, it's a good question.
- 56:16Speaker 1: It's a very awe-bait movie.
- 56:19Speaker 5: Is it?
- 56:19Speaker 6: 100%.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Here's how you don't watch it. Greg, don't pay attention
- 56:22Speaker 1: to these idiots. I believe you 100%. We're the idiots. Well,
- 56:25Speaker 1: I mean, we have the proof.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Again, I really want to.
- 56:29Speaker 2: In my heart, I want to believe Greg.
- 56:31Speaker 4: Same.
- 56:31Speaker 2: My brain won't allow it.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I want you to believe in your heart that my
- 56:35Speaker 1: mom would not necessarily. No, no, no. I don't think that.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Here's the thing.
- 56:38Speaker 12: Again.
- 56:39Speaker 1: It was not a drunken knock things over.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Did you have alcohol that day?
- 56:42Speaker 1: Of course. I was awake. Of course.
- 56:45Speaker 4: Of course.
- 56:45Speaker 2: To be clear, I don't think your mom actually did it.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Right. That is the most reasonable explanation.
- 56:50Speaker 4: He's giving an example of where his brain goes out.
- 56:53Speaker 1: I understand that. But yeah, this was, it was bizarre.
- 56:56Speaker 1: All right, Seabass, cheers and jeers.
- 56:57Speaker 7: Well, cheers to the Walmart I went to that finally
- 57:01Speaker 7: put their foot down and they put all the stupid
- 57:03Speaker 7: Pokemon cards and Yu-Gi-Oh and all the other dumb crap
- 57:06Speaker 7: that all these middle-aged men are buying behind the counter
- 57:08Speaker 7: at customer service and a big sign that said, maximum
- 57:11Speaker 7: two per day per person.
- 57:13Speaker 5: Oh!
- 57:14Speaker 1: Exactly. This sucks.
- 57:16Speaker 7: And I stopped, and I congratulated the old lady that
- 57:19Speaker 7: was working right there. Thank you guys for doing that.
- 57:21Speaker 1: She said, oh, I know. These men come in here,
- 57:23Speaker 1: and they want to buy all the stupid cars.
- 57:24Speaker 2: I saw a woman dressed very professionally yesterday at the
- 57:27Speaker 2: grocery store. They have one of those Pokemon machines in there.
- 57:29Speaker 2: And she was just camped out there. And I go,
- 57:32Speaker 2: here's a woman who does not look like a loser.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Very professionally dressed. Looked like she... like a manager of
- 57:37Speaker 1: an office or something. That's her Pokemon costume. I don't know.
- 57:40Speaker 2: I did hear a term and I sent the thing
- 57:42Speaker 2: to Greg. So it's kid-dult.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Yes, you did. That's a new term, a kid-dult. Well,
- 57:47Speaker 1: it's because we stopped.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Kid-dulting.
- 57:49Speaker 1: We said, hey, all this stuff you loved as a child,
- 57:51Speaker 1: it's okay to like it as an adult and don't
- 57:52Speaker 1: get married and don't have kids.
- 57:53Speaker 7: And then in your thirties and forties, this is what
- 57:55Speaker 7: you get. So I forget which Walmart it was that
- 57:57Speaker 7: did that. It was one of the ones in Reno
- 57:58Speaker 7: when I was at Burning Man this weekend, but I
- 58:00Speaker 7: stopped in there and it was cheers to them.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Nice. Yeah, and it was Gary Vee who was talking
- 58:06Speaker 2: about it.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Right. Kid Dalton. You love Gary Vee. Yeah, Kid Dalton. Yeah,
- 58:10Speaker 1: I do like Gary Vee. It's definitely a thing. My
- 58:11Speaker 1: question is, though, like— He's pretty good, like, picking up
- 58:13Speaker 1: on trends, at least. Oh, yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 5: He's the number one guy on that.
- 58:16Speaker 3: But the current packs that are being sold, like, what
- 58:21Speaker 3: could be the card that's worth the most money?
- 58:24Speaker 7: It's what they've done with the baseball cards, too, is
- 58:26Speaker 7: the card companies got really smart, quite frankly, is they
- 58:29Speaker 7: introduced artificial scarcity. So in the 80s and 90s, they
- 58:32Speaker 7: just printed a billion of everything, and they were all
- 58:34Speaker 7: worth nothing. But now they are intentionally printing one of one,
- 58:36Speaker 7: one of ten.
- 58:37Speaker 2: What's the hottest card right now? Yeah, Bored, what's the
- 58:39Speaker 2: hottest card right now?
- 58:40Speaker 1: Hottest new release Pokemon.
- 58:41Speaker 3: That people would be lining up for it.
- 58:42Speaker 13: No clue, man. It's probably some Charizard card. It's a
- 58:45Speaker 13: false economy with this, man. The rates go super high
- 58:49Speaker 13: with these cards, and then they drop by the time
- 58:51Speaker 13: the next set comes out.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it's nuts. Artificial scarcity. Exactly.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Is it Target who's taking the packs out of the plastic?
- 58:58Speaker 1: They were.
- 58:59Speaker 13: They've gone back on that now. So they're not doing that.
- 59:01Speaker 13: They were slicing it so that way you can't resell it.
- 59:04Speaker 13: They've gone back on that.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Yes, the classics. This is the 30th anniversary re-release. A
- 59:08Speaker 2: classic re-release. return of the original bass set Charizard.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Oh my god. The 50th version of it. My kid
- 59:17Speaker 1: would have loved that three years ago.
- 59:19Speaker 5: Boing!
- 59:19Speaker 7: My jeers I also saw up in the Reno slash Sparks,
- 59:23Speaker 7: Nevada area when I was at Burning Man was this
- 59:25Speaker 7: guy who he had a t-shirt on It said the Glock,
- 59:29Speaker 7: the Glock father. And it was like a restylized TV,
- 59:33Speaker 7: a movie poster of like Scarface holding a Glock.
- 59:37Speaker 13: Okay.
- 59:37Speaker 7: And I was like, and it was just like white guys, stupid,
- 59:39Speaker 7: like chains on stuff. But I saw on his hip,
- 59:41Speaker 7: he had, he was carrying a Glock and he wanted
- 59:43Speaker 7: everyone to know that he.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Was the Glock father.
- 59:47Speaker 7: And he was carrying one of those, like the one
- 59:49Speaker 7: of the, one of the holsters that like sits out
- 59:50Speaker 7: from your body. You see like SWAT team have these
- 59:52Speaker 7: so that you don't, So that you can get to
- 59:54Speaker 7: your gun more quickly.
- 59:55Speaker 10: Right.
- 59:56Speaker 1: He was wearing this on his pants that were sagging
- 59:58Speaker 1: below his waist.
- 59:59Speaker 7: So his Glock is hitting his thigh as he's like
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: coming out of the Dollar Tree.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: In Sparks, Nevada. Oh, I want to do him so bad. Exactly.
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: So sorry, Glock father, you are. But now I can't
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: insult him to his face or he'll shoot me with
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: his Glock.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: That's right. Stand your ground. Catch 22. Yeah. Oh, well.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: But a fun time in northern Nevada at Burning Man.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Send us a text over to 22987. And no coverage
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: of Burning Man, really, because he was not there for
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: that reason.
- 1:00:25Speaker 13: Uh.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Special, extra, secret bonus cheers. I was at Burning Man
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: and I got coverage for the show. Nice. Oh, you did?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Secret event. How?
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Because that's the big thing is that you're not supposed
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: to even take pictures. The tents I was inside and
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: the nudity, they did not want any kind of recording.
- 1:00:46Speaker 9: Ew.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: This is like when Nathan Fielder dropped his surprise documentary with- Oh, yeah.
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: That looks crazy. Secret, hidden Woody show project. I couldn't
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: tell because I didn't want people at Burning Man to
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: be like- Hate on you. Watch out for CBS.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: She's coming. Hey, can we talk about that trailer for
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: a second? With Nathan Fielder and Elizabeth Holmes? Yes. She's
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: a maniac. First of all, he always looks nuts. Yeah,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: but that's his thing. He has that crazy look. She
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: looks insane. Somebody did a side-by-side of her, that one
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: where he's- Staring at her. And she won't blink.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: They did a side-by-side of her and Chuck E.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: Cheese.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: And you can't unsee it.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: And she did something weird to her face where she's
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: all puffy. Yeah.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: Why would I deceive you?
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: So.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: It was, like, leading up to her going to jail, right? Yeah, like, two,
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: three years ago.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: For 11 years.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Yeah, for, like, however long before she went to jail,
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: he was basically embedded with her. Not in bed with her.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Embedded. Yeah.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: With the family and, yeah, then the whole thing. Now,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: what's even crazier... this Nathan Fielder is such a weirdo.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: He's kind of like Seabass in a lot of different ways.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Oh, he commits to the bit.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: He commits to the bit. He loves a good project.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: But then also, he was filming this in tandem at
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: the same time as he was doing all the stuff
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: for his flight training for the rehearsal.
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: Right, where he was like secretly getting, he's like 737
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: sort of, he flies to Dubai. He flies jets to Dubai.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: He was doing all this at the same time. That's crazy.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: And he does these things without telling anybody and he
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: just waits for it to come out. There's no like,
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: previews of anything, no talking. It just comes out, and
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: then there's no pomp or circumstance. It just comes out,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: and then you just get to... You get to leave it, yeah.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: You experience it without having any bias going in based
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: on stuff that you've seen or heard beforehand. That's what's
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: up with Sacha Baron Cohen.
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: You remember when he shot the original Borat movie, there
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: was a lot of coverage because he was like, oh,
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: he's at this rodeo.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: But when he.
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: Did the newest Ali G movie, no one knew anything
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: about that.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Nothing, nothing. All right, quick break. We'll come back. More
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Woody shows next. Hang on. The Woody Show will be
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: right back.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: All right, well, got some mother effing zoo news out
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: of England.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Where the zoo, they're offering up, they have this new
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: guided tour of, quote, iconic predators of the animal kingdom
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: and their prey, which seems, you know, simple enough, right?
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: And so you go to buy the tickets. All it
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: says is predator tour. Now, here's the problem. There's an
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: online listing of For the child's ticket on the tour,
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: and it reads Child Predator Tour.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: That's going to put you on a list.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: So you can sign up for the Child Predator Tour.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: We're all lined up for you to look at.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so it went viral, and the zoo, our bad,
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: changed the name.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Whoopsie. Yeah, they fixed that. That's funny. That's all good.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I'll take two. The child predator tour. I'd like to
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: see all of them.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: My daughter was saying something to my son about this
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: the other day. And I didn't know much about it,
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: but clearly it's caught on.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: It's everywhere. This cat in the hat thing. Have you
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: heard anything about that? Are you familiar with that at all, Gina?
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Because your son is a certain age. Vaguely, yes.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: So schools and police departments around the country, they're warning
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: about this social media thing involving.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: these.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Creepy AI-generated versions of the Cat in the Hat that's
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: being used to make threats against schools and communities.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Right, and sometimes specific people, even.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Like, that I don't even really understand.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Like, is it.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: So it's AI-generated. It's the Cat in the Hat character?
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: The Mike Myers live-action version. Yeah, the movie version. And
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: it's doing what, though? Like, it's... It's making threats, right?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Against schools and people.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: They're producing videos.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: So it's not like anybody's waiting for the Cat in
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: the Hat to show up.
- 1:04:47Speaker 12: Mm-hmm.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: It's just that they're using it to generate.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: It like a... Because it's ironic.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Like, watch your back, menace.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: That kind of thing. It started in Ireland, I believe.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: So some of the posts have gotten serious enough that
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: teenagers have reportedly been arrested in connection with these things.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: In at least three states. What was the... The other one, Slenderman. Slenderman.
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: That wasn't Threats. That was just like a fake character.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: Well, two girls killed their friend.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: That was also fake though, right?
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Yeah, 100%. Not AI generated. No, no. It was just
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: like a folklore or whatever. Candyman, that sort of thing.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: It was a mythical... Dude, right?
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: Yeah, they made character drawings of it online.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but people went to jail.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: Yeah, and dumb, crazy people were like, I'm going to
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: kill for Slenderman.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: So Slenderman was this character that was asking people to
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: do things?
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: Yeah, some 12-foot-tall ghostly.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: You know, not even a real person. Didn't even look
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: like a real person.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: It was like Jack Skellington.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Right, background.
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: Some guy just created it for like a Photoshop contest.
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: Somebody found it and said, I'm going to make, you know,
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: a character.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: A story.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: A story behind it. And so the story went what?
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: And so how did kids end up getting like in
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: to where they thought that they were being told what
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: to do?
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: Because some kids don't understand reality.
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I mean, they're crazy, right? Well, yeah. I mean, there's
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: crazy people.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: And their kid's like, oh, he wants me to kill
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: my best friend. My best friend is in seventh grade.
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: So they're being threatened by the Slenderman, who's allegedly who's
- 1:06:18Speaker 9: a crazy person.
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: So it's causing them to do other stuff. They're more like, oh,
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: all hail the great Slenderman.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: That's the part I didn't understand.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I know somebody died.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: I knew people got arrested and sent to jail for it.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Never quite understood the.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Because it.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: Doesn't make any sense.
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: Well, yeah, goth teens and preteens adopt it as like
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: their little thing and then they make, you know, a
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: whole world around it.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: And they kill their friends.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Cool. It's like their evil hero. Yeah.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: God, whatever happened to like the good old rumors that
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: we had as a kid, you know?
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Like so-and-so... The gerbil. Yeah, Richard Gere and the gerbil.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: Rod Stewart and the stomach pump.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Yeah, see, it was Rod Stewart, Mr. Rogers, Bon Jovi.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: By the time it hit me, it was Lil' Kim.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Right, yeah, because it just depends on what.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Era you grew up in. What state you grew up in.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: Yeah, like, oh, you hear Mr. Rogers has all these
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: tattoos from all the kills he.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Had in Vietnam.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: Well, that one was true.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Yeah, there was that one. There was, oh, Mr. Rogers
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: ended up in the hospital, and they had to pump
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: his stomach out And inside was Bon Jovi semen.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: So hot.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: That sounds about right.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: Which, of course, God, if they had to pump your
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: stomach for that, imagine how many people would end up
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: in the hospital. How do they know it was Bon Jovi?
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: Because we didn't have DNA technology.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Like that back then. Right.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: But that was the stuff that went around. And then
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: it got big into the celebrity death hoaxes. Like every week,
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Adam Sandler was dead.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Yeah. R.I.P. It seemed.
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: Oh, babe.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Or people who weren't dead like Elvis.
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: Oh, he's very much alive, right?
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Slender Man was on Reddit. Yeah.
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: Well, that's who... That and Menace's hate that he has
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: for 4chan. These are the people who.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: No, that'd be Cartnarks. At Cartnarks.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: A lot of these people are like guys who are
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: actual real internet trolls.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Is 4chan still a thing?
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: I haven't heard about that in a long time. Other
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: than Seabass trolling Menace over it.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: It's basically like the dark web now.
- 1:08:11Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: But that was like one thing for the longest time.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: That was more like a semi-public thing where.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: It's kind of like how we call every tissue now
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: a Kleenex.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:08:20Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Or every copy machine's a Xerox. Chan just means channel.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: And so 4chan, 8chan.
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: And so all these like actual hardcore internet trolls will
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: be on there and they'll be talking and they'll have
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: these little inside jokes. And sometimes, every once in a while,
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: those inside jokes get out to the real world. And
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: that's kind of what, you know, things like Slenderman or
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: Pepe the Frog.
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: Yeah, Slenderman was more of a message board type era.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Like, Slender Man, Momo.
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: Momo.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Somebody else in the text mentioned that. Oh, I remember that.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Mentioning that. Yeah, my.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: The weird eyes. Yeah, that's another one that my daughter
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: was freaked out about. And she was doing the same
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: thing that I was doing when I first, like... You
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: know those trypophobia pictures that people see where, like, some
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: of the palm of someone's hand just has a bunch
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: of little holes in it.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: You hate dots and holes.
- 1:09:03Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: And it looks like there's like almost like little butterflies
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: or something. It does. Yeah.
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Dude, it grossed me out so hard. Like, you know,
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: I can watch a lot of really disgusting things.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: The more disgusting, the better. Yeah, like I could watch
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: a ton of stuff like that. But man, for whatever reason.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: God forbid you look at a lotus pod.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Right. These trypophobia pictures were turning my stomach.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: God, what would a pomegranate do to you?
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: And I would wake up in the middle of the night,
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: grab my phone, and I almost challenged myself to see
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: the photo.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Like, all right. Exposure therapy.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: And you know what? Eventually it worked.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I was looking at it so much that I eventually
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: just like, all right, this is nothing. You were grossed
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: out by fern leaves and. The bottom side of a mushroom.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Well, fern leaves, if you flip them over, they have
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: those little along each.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Like warts.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but they were perfect. The symmetry and the pattern
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: of it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: That is pretty impressive. I'm looking at one right now.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: It gave me a full body shiver, like a douche chill.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: And then look for a lotus bud too.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: Anyway, so my daughter with that whole Momo thing, she was...
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: waking up with like these nightmares and stuff, but she
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: kept looking at the photo, looking at the photo, looking
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: at the photo. She couldn't help herself. And my wife
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: finally was like, you got to stop. You got to
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: stop looking at this thing. That's why she can't watch
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: scary movies because she will have nightmares.
- 1:10:28Speaker 7: What is it about 12 through 16 year old girls
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: where they are just obsessed by horror and all that crap?
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Slenderman. Well, those were girls. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Maybe they're, they're more gullible.
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Or they're more into fantasy, I think.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: It's fantasy, also beauty.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Fantasy, but the whole idea that girls mature faster than boys, right?
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Physically. But is that also... Are they supposed to.
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: They're supposed to be more mature, just in general.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Like emotionally?
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Because it seems like teenage girls are way more of
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: a mess emotionally than boys are of the same age.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: And I think that plays into this.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: So physically, maybe you've matured quicker.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: That's a good point. Right?
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: But that mess leads to attraction to all this horror
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: crap and obsessing over it and creating all these lore.
- 1:11:16Speaker 9: But is the horror stuff a sense of rebellion for them?
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: Like the teen rebellion stage just in general, this is
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: a form of it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. Go toilet paper a house.
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, go egg somebody.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Fear is fun. That's why you like horror movies and
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: roller coasters. And girls kind of like drama. And fear
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: is kind of drama.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: Just a little bit.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: So, you know.
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: It's an alternate world.
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: It's all causes strife.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Somebody texted over.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: The big rumor for me growing up is that Marilyn
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Manson had a couple of ribs removed so he could
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: give himself head.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: Oh, that was a big one.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, remember that one? And then also that... Marilyn Manson
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: was Paul Pfeiffer from The Wonder Years.
- 1:11:53Speaker 17: They're identical.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: They're both so hot.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Speaking of fear, an actor playing Nikki at Halloween Horror
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Nights got fired because I guess she was doing too
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: good of a job.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: Nikki from Obsession.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Oh, too scary? Yeah. She looks good. There we go.
- 1:12:11Speaker 16: A woman hired to play Nikki at Halloween Horror Nights
- 1:12:13Speaker 16: was fired after visitors complained that her performance was too frightening.
- 1:12:16Speaker 16: Universal added the character after Nikki from the horror movie
- 1:12:19Speaker 16: Obsession became popular online. The actress walked around the park
- 1:12:22Speaker 16: approaching random guests while acting emotionally unstable and obsessed with them.
- 1:12:26Speaker 16: During each encounter, she shouted lines such as, why don't
- 1:12:29Speaker 16: you love me? And you don't love me as much
- 1:12:32Speaker 16: as I love you. She also hit herself with a
- 1:12:34Speaker 16: foam brick as part of the performance. Some visitors said
- 1:12:37Speaker 16: the unexpected confrontations made them uncomfortable and complained to park staff.
- 1:12:41Speaker 16: According to online claims, the actress was later removed from
- 1:12:44Speaker 16: the role and lost her job because her performance went
- 1:12:46Speaker 16: too far.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Wait, so they actually fired her?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Or they just removed her from that, like, hey, we're
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: not going to have you be Nicky anymore.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Yeah, you're too good.
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: I hate to be a menace on this one, but
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: that sounds like if i'm universal i put that story
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: out all day every day because like oh it's.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: It gets it gets rough in here yeah.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: You can't handle it yeah but does that look does
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: that look good on them for for letting this person
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: go because it did too good of a job yeah
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: you want to hear what it sounded like here's a
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: little clip of what she did.
- 1:13:10Speaker 19: This is there he's my i love there so so so.
- 1:13:17Speaker 20: So much.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: That's really good.
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: It does in the movie. Actually, I didn't enjoy that.
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: Not that it was scary.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Just, you know. Yeah. It wasn't good.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: Yeah, but then go be one of those people that
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: has like the baby flashlight on that says like, don't
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: scare me if you don't want it to come.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Up to you. Yeah.
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: That's weak.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: I honestly, I did not know that existed.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: You wear a little special flashlight and no one will
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: scare you.
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: Why are you going?
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I just go on a different night.
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Great.
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: I remember I was carrying two trays of food and
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: I just screamed the whole way, don't scare me, I'm
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: carrying food.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Don't scare me, I'm carrying food.
- 1:13:53Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: All right, well, we're going to take a quick break. Oh,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: here's a fun joke.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: 562 says, oh, it's JT texting in.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Hi, JT.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Woody, how come gerbils can't drive?
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: Because they can't get out of gear.
- 1:14:11Speaker 10: Get it.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: That's classic.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: If you want to give us a call, 877-44-WOODY. You
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: can send us a text over to 22987. This text, 925, says, Greg,
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: I just had a moth in my house. And with
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: barely even getting near it with a swat, just the
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: sheer force of air knocked it to the ground.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: You can't be scared of moths. They're like the cotton
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: candy of insects. So frail. I've been held hostage by
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: many a moth. I've been late to work because of
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: a moth.
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Satan's creatures.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: We did have an after hours voicemail about Greg and
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: his fear of everything. Hey guys.
- 1:14:57Speaker 10: So I've been meaning to call for the longest time
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: and I keep hearing about Greg talking about how he's
- 1:15:03Speaker 10: just afraid of everything and like it's getting even worse.
- 1:15:07Speaker 10: And I think I have a diagnosis for him. He
- 1:15:11Speaker 10: has Gregorophobia. Gregorophobia. The fear of everything that Greg is
- 1:15:18Speaker 10: afraid of. Bugs, cars, death. Although maybe he likes death,
- 1:15:23Speaker 10: but he's just afraid of everything. So he's got Gregorophobia.
- 1:15:28Speaker 10: All right, bye.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Gregorophobia. Gregorophobia. I'm afraid of myself. She's not wrong. It's
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: getting worse by the minute. So....
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Reports are suggesting that TSA is going to start allowing
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: full water bottles again through security.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Nothing official just yet. This would be the first time
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: since 9-11 because that's when they.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Stopped all that.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Because everybody has them. But this is something else that
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: affects Greg Gorey. Greg won't be able to do it
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: because you're going to have to have TSA pre-check.
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: I knew it.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Oh, just to get the water bottle? That seems the classiest. Yeah.
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: It does.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: No, it's the same reason you can keep your shoes
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: on with TSA pre-check.
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: Because we've been vetted, Greg.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we've been vetted. Well, maybe I'll have to cave
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: and get it then for the one time a year
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: that I fly. With my water.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: But it's not like it's something you got to do
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: and pay for every year. It's that one fee, and
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: it's good for what, five years?
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, it's for five? Yeah. All right. I look
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: into it. I just base it on our experiences where
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: you have the clear, the pre-check, whatever the other one is,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: and I have none of it, and I'm always waiting
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: for you at the gate. Sometimes.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: Although the last time we traveled, you got caught in
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: that line, and we just had to go meet you there.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, I get there so damn early.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I got time to kill.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: And the only reason that Woody's getting caught up because
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: I don't get it. The people that have it. Don't
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: know how to use it for some reason. Yeah.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: It's easy. Just like literally walk up to the person.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: But how did you sign up for this service and
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: not understand how the process works?
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: But when you get caught up. Are you talking about me?
- 1:17:03Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: No, no, I'm not.
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: Oh, I was going to say. You get caught up
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: in the security detector.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Well, because you're.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: Being held up by the people that have the service
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: that don't know how to use it.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: When we're traveling together.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: And I've been pulled aside. It's because I'm traveling with
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: all the stuff we need to do the show.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: True.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: So I have all this like random wires. Weird looking equipment.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Yeah. They're like, wait on it. This has come through
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: like every every second so it gets pulled aside they go.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: What is this like? Oh, it's for audio. Yeah, don't
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: worry about it Yeah.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: Right and so yeah that if it's just me, I'm
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: just going on a random trip somewhere I'm never stuck
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: cuz you're right. I know the rules and I put
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: everything in a stupid bin I'm ready to go by
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: the time my bag hits the belt. I've all the
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: crap out of my pockets It's all together. It's in
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: the bin or whatever, you know used to collect it
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: and you go through and It's amazing how long it
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: takes anybody to do anything. I was in line behind
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: somebody at a Raising Cane's the other day.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: And the person behind me was bitching like, hey, can
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: we chit chat later? Because Raising Cane's has three things
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: on the menu. How hard is your order?
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: Why does it.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Take everybody else so long and then you get up
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: there and it's like a pit stop? It doesn't seem
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: like every time is their first time. Cash machines. Checking
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: out the grocery store.
- 1:18:14Speaker 12: Yep.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: There's all these things that are not that difficult. But
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: somehow people have figured out how to make it mission impossible.
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: Everyone who's seated at a bulkhead has never seen that
- 1:18:23Speaker 7: they don't let you put crap on your feet.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: And there's always three people who are like, hey, Stuart's
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: going to go, hey, you can't leave that.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: You're like, whoa.
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: Who are you?
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Where am I? Yeah.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: But is it not the best feeling in the world, Woody,
- 1:18:34Speaker 7: when you go to clear?
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: And they take you in front.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Of even the- Everybody else.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Even the pre-check people that take you. And they're like, oh,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: you wait right there.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: A VIP coming.
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: And I ditch my husband so hard when I do clear.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Bye.
- 1:18:44Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: And when I get clear, men, it's probably the same things.
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: We both have the American Express card.
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: And so I get that credit for it. There's a
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: new thing that I saw. Clear Plus?
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: No.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: Actually, no, it's TSA plus or something.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: There's something like that. Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: Oh, it's the touchless thing.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: Special, special line.
- 1:19:05Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:19:06Speaker 5: They have another line now.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: Oh, the face.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: They read your face, right?
- 1:19:09Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Touchless.
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: It's like the Global Traveler re-entry, essentially, which I went
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: for my Global Traveler re-up because they actually sit you
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: down for an interview with law enforcement for that. But
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: I forgot my passport, so I have to go back.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Oh, no. Oh, no. Yeah, that happens.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: But you can fly through the line if you just
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: know what you're doing. Just like pre-read, you know?
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: Well, that's the thing with like the Raising Cane stuff.
- 1:19:31Speaker 7: Like you weren't standing here for five minutes with a menu.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Is the menu that complicated?
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: The line was crazy long. So we're all standing there
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: in line. How is it the person who's just in
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: front of me gets up there and still has no idea?
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Because they're talking to their friends, dicking around on their phone.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: He was there by himself. Well, that happens. He was
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: all by himself.
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: That's my argument, you guys.
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: Give me crap for it. When we're at a restaurant
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: and we're with a group of people and there's always
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: that one person, I need a little more time to
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: look at the menu.
- 1:19:59Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:19:59Speaker 12: Because you've been sitting here this whole time. You didn't
- 1:20:02Speaker 12: even pre-look at the menu before you even got to...
- 1:20:04Speaker 12: You knew what restaurant you were going to days beforehand.
- 1:20:07Speaker 12: You didn't even take a preview. Even if you didn't
- 1:20:10Speaker 12: do that before, you sat down and you opened the menu.
- 1:20:13Speaker 12: Have you never eaten before, dude?
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: No, that's different.
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: You can't look through the menu within five seconds and
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: figure out what you want.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: If you're going to Texas Roadhouse... Right? And you sit down.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Like, yes, you already went there knowing exactly pretty much
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: what you're getting. You want some type of steak and
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: you have an idea of the sides. And you can
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: find that very easily. If you're going to one of
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: these other like kind of one-off restaurants, right?
- 1:20:34Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: And it's a social night out. You, your wife, maybe
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: another couple. And you go somewhere. I didn't look up
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: the menu before I got there.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: But when they be talking and they don't look at
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: the menu.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but let's say you didn't do that. You need
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: more than four minutes to figure out what you want
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: to eat.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: Well, Menace, you'll appreciate this.
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: Sometimes I have to because I'm dumb and I have
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: to like translate the menu because I'm like, what is this?
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: This is a what? You know, they try to make the...
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Just tell me.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: It's beef with a sauce.
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: In English, please.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: In English.
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: But they have them in like these terms that only
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: another chef would understand.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I'll sit down. It's in code.
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: I'll sit down with a friend like who I haven't
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: seen in a while. Oh my God, it's so good
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: to see you. Okay, let's figure out what we want
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: first and then we can get to talking.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: And that seems to work well.
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: Because then we'll be here all day.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: Oh, and if you want to make me suicidal, ask
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: what the specials are.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. What are you getting rid of today?
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and then say, you know what?
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: Oh, I'm not interested in any of that.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Well, that took three months of everybody's time.
- 1:21:30Speaker 5: Yeah, thanks.
- 1:21:31Speaker 8: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: Send us a text over to 22987. More Woody shows next.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: The Woody Show. The Woody Show. And into another new hour.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Woody, Greg, Menace. There's Gina Grad, Seabass. He does a
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: lot of guest appearances on different podcasts talking about carton arcs.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: That's true. They want to talk about it. There's this
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: one I thought was a pretty interesting concept. It's like
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: a live.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: night show that you posted something about it like yeah
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: they they i thought it was part of like an
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: audible or something oh good yeah it was like oh
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: i'll look it up i'll figure out what it was
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: like something it was like the yeah the host is
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: british it's like called like the night chat or something
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: yeah i'll find it for you yeah it's like a
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: it's a live call-in podcast okay um but uh and
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: they just talk about random different things like uh like
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: people will just call in with whatever their thoughts are
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: Like they're random thoughts like at night. It's called the nightly. Yeah,
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: you know how your brain gets going on things?
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: Do I?
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: And this is a place that you could take that thought.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: And share it. But he speaks like this.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it was super soothing and calming.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: You put it on while you're asleep and it's this
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: British guy. I made a note of it to check
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: it out. They don't have a lot of followers either.
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: No, because I thought it was part of like an
- 1:22:54Speaker 7: audible or something, but I guess it's not. It's just
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: some dude, something called.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Hatch for Sleep. I don't know if he reached out
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: to you. Yeah, they said, hey, would you like to
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: do an interview?
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was super soothing. The sound of it, Greg,
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: I think something you would like, you put that on
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: as you're nodding off. But they were talking about card narks.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: Card narks, card narks, what you gonna do? What you
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: gonna do when they narc on you? Card narks, card narks,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: what you gonna do? What you gonna do when they
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: narc on you?
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: Cartnarks is filmed alongside the men and women of Cartnarks.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Lister discretion is advised.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so Agent Sebastian out there doing the Lord's work,
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: trying to get people to do the right thing and
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: return their carts to either the corral or back to
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: the front of the store. Hey, shout out to my
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: local grocery store who has all brand new carts. They're
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: so smooth and so quiet. It's the one at the
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: bottom of the hill right by our house there.
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: I didn't realize we had new carts.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: New carts. Wow. They are nice. They have a nice
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: little place for hold your drink. Oh, hey, put your
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: phone in there.
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not all trashed up like all the other
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: ones were.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they're very nice. So let's take care of these things.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Let's bring them back to the corral or back to
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: the front of the store. And when people don't do that,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: they're called lazy bones.
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: They are.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: And Agent Sebastian approaches them and tries to get them
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: to do it. And we go everywhere for this.
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: You know, I go to a lot of quote unquote
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: dangerous places, Chicago, Detroit, Oakland.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: So I thought I'd take it easy for this one.
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: And go somewhere, just a nice suburb of St. Louis
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: called Ferguson, Missouri.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Oh!
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: I think I've heard of them. They might have been
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: in the news.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: Oh, for quietest, nicest place in the world?
- 1:24:21Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: So I went to a big box store in Ferguson, Missouri,
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: and I noticed this guy. He was loading the back
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: of his hatch on his SUV. He just dumped the
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: cart in the mulch back there. So the next person
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: who wants to do just what he did has to
- 1:24:34Speaker 7: move around his cart to load their stuff, for instance.
- 1:24:36Speaker 7: That's called a curbing, is it not? That was a
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: four-wheel curbing because it was fully up in the mulch, yes.
- 1:24:41Speaker 7: So I approached him, and he kind of recognized what
- 1:24:44Speaker 7: was going on. In fact, he calls me the cart
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: police when he sees me. I'm going to leave that
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: cart right there, I hope.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I hope and pray. Yes, sir.
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: Well, cart narcs.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Get your cart and turn right over there. Scootin' the wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: I'm pushing on my car, man. I'm telling you, don't
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: touch my motherfucking car. Yeah. Oh, boy. Coming in hot.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I didn't take anything out.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: I didn't show him my magnets, but I was holding
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: them in my hand.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: I didn't, like, motion. I think he's maybe seen a video.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: He knew what was going. So he went from zero to,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: don't touch my mother-in-law's car, man.
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: So, like, I kind of say, well, hold on. I
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: haven't even really done anything other than point out where
- 1:25:19Speaker 7: you left your car at this point. Why so angry
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: all of a sudden?
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Why did you think I was going to... Don't touch
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: my damn car, though.
- 1:25:25Speaker 9: Well, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Don't touch my motherfucking car, man.
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: I'm telling you, motherfucking ass, don't touch my motherfucking car, dude.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Why do you think I was going to do that?
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Because you got it in your fucking hand. But I
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: had it in my hand a minute ago, too. Get
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: away from me, man. Yeah, man. Oh, jeez. Yeah, he's
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: a liar. He knows. Yeah, he's seen a video before.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: I don't know. Why are people in Ferguson so anxious?
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: It's ridiculous.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Anyway, so I still, I'm like, well, maybe if I can...
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: He loves yelling. I like having conversations. Let's see if
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I can get him to explain himself here. Get away
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: from me, man. Why are you so angry?
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: What the f * * *?
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Touch my motherf * * * ing car. Do you
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: want me to? I'm telling you not to, man. You
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: just said to touch it. Get the f * * *
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: away from my car, man. I haven't said I was
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: going to touch your car. All I ask is to
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: put your car right back, sir.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: What the f * * *?
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Leave!
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: So what is that? So he notices, well, this is
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: some car alarm or something. But he notices, running towards us,
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: because there's a man screaming at me.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: A police officer.
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: Because for some reason, there's a police stationed at the
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: location in Ferguson, Missouri.
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: Oh, what?
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: So he's yelling to the cop, get this guy the
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: mother effer away from me! And then the cop immediately,
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: you have the last thing the cop says is, leave!
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: To you. To me! Oh, the wrong side of history.
- 1:26:36Speaker 12: Because.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: Again, wrong side of history.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Well, he does see some weirdo, like, head to toe,
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: with a bulletproof vest on and aviator sunglasses.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: Out of the ordinary.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: But even, it's always like we take the side of
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: the person who's screaming aloud the most as opposed to
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: the person who's doing.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: The right thing.
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: I have not even threatened to do anything to him
- 1:26:56Speaker 7: at all at this point. I'm just holding magnets.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: Now the cop comes to me and he's in full
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: cop mode just screaming at me.
- 1:27:03Speaker 8: I am.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: To be fair, I didn't do anything to him whatsoever.
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: Yes, sir.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: Are you like the actual YouTube guy? Yes, sir. No.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: Are you the actual guy? The actual YouTube guy, not
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: the imitator?
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: To break that down, he's, now get out of here.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: And then the guy, the lazy bones.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Oh, you punk ass mother effer. Oh, you're the one
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: who got the.
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: Cops, you bitch.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: You're the one being a bitch. You're the one being an.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: Actual narc, you bitch. Calling me a punk mother effer.
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: And then the cop immediately like.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: Oh, you're the YouTube guy. Oh, okay. I know you.
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: Can I get a photo?
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: Well, almost, but for some reason, he thinks.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: that I shouldn't be at this particular location in Ferguson
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: for whatever reason.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: And to be fair, I didn't touch him. He just
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: saw me. I've watched your videos. I know how it goes.
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: But I'm telling you, dude, here, man, I've seen shootings
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: in this parking lot. What?
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: Oh, he's trying to help you. Slash threaten you.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty much.
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: And there was not one, but two cops there. He
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: had his little, like, trainee with him, too.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: But he was very nice. Like, oh, man, yeah, you know,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: just kind of get out of here. Not smart. You're
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: going to get shot, you know, whatever.
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: So sadly, this is what I hate, is that Lazy
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: Bones thinks.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Man, I told him to F off.
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: The cop was on my side. But that's why we
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: do the segment. So he will have the same loser attitude,
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: but somewhere out there, hopefully the audience will press on that.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: He's going to teach the youth of today how to
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: handle their cars. It's going to be a vicious cycle.
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: By the way, I'm on Ferguson Zillow, and you can
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: get a lovely home for $ 30, 000. That's a good deal.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: Get two.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: So this guy, we've talked about him before, The Legal Beef.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: He's an Instagram lawyer.
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: He caught up.
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: Attention to a classics Cartnark episode of me versus the lady,
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: the lazy bones-itis lady who's throwing drinks at me and
- 1:28:46Speaker 7: threatening to run.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: Me over and stuff.
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: And because people think Some, I mean, a small minority
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: think that when they watch those videos, like, yeah, you
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: can do that. You can just toss your drink at
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: somebody and threaten to run them over. And that's totally legal.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Well, thankfully, the legal beef is here to set them straight.
- 1:28:58Speaker 8: This lady is about to commit a lot of crimes.
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: That's not where the cart goes. That's in the handicapped walkway.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: I do have a handicap, actually. What I give you,
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: you're saying- Is it lazy bonsitis? Don't hit me. I'm
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: not going to hit you. I'm going to take your glasses.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: I'm going to throw them on the ground. So what
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: crimes did she commit? Reaching for the glasses on his
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: face while saying she's going to take them is assault.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Assault doesn't actually require hitting or touching someone. The threat of.
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: Imminent harmful or offensive contact is enough.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: Then she throws her drinks on him.
- 1:29:37Speaker 8: That's battery, actual harmful or offensive contact. No injuries are required.
- 1:29:43Speaker 8: And when she threatens to run him over, threatening someone
- 1:29:46Speaker 8: with serious violence can also be a crime. Lastly, coming
- 1:29:49Speaker 8: after him with pepper spray while threatening him, that's another assault.
- 1:29:53Speaker 8: She doesn't actually have to spray him. Bottom line, lady,
- 1:29:57Speaker 8: being offended isn't worth a criminal record.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he did a great video on battery and assault.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: And he had all these other things.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: And he goes, this is battery. This is assault. That's assault.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: This is battery. Yeah, people don't know.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: The videos of the kids who were doing the wheelies
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: on the bicycles and they get really close to somebody
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: and then swerve away at the last second.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: I tricked you. Technically a crime.
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: Yeah, because you're putting them in reasonable fear of getting
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: hit in the face by your bike.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's assault. Yeah, or battery. Or assault, yes.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: When you're going right toward them. Right, because you might
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: jump to the ground or something. Or you cock back
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: with your fist and you make it look.
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: Because I reasonable person would expect you're going to get punched.
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: And by the way, what she said she was going
- 1:30:36Speaker 7: to run me over, that's probably aggravated assault because.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: She did sound aggravated.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: And she could kill me! So thank you, Legal Beef.
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: Another Carton Arcs person who's caught some attention... Would you
- 1:30:48Speaker 7: believe a pastor made an entire sermon about cart darts?
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: What? I'm going to go to church now. I'd be
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: curious on which side. Yeah.
- 1:30:57Speaker 7: Hold that thought about if you want to go see
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: this guy or not. But this is Pastor Oz, A-W-E-S,
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: and here is part of his sermon.
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: Put your shopping cart away, you degenerate, lazy bum. Okay?
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: I almost named this sermon, Put Your Shopping Cart Away.
- 1:31:11Speaker 12: Okay?
- 1:31:11Speaker 11: Okay?
- 1:31:12Speaker 15: Let me tell you, you could tell a lot from
- 1:31:15Speaker 15: a person that doesn't put their shopping cart away. They
- 1:31:18Speaker 15: have no consideration for anyone else. Someone else is going
- 1:31:21Speaker 15: to pick up their mess. They're too lazy to walk
- 1:31:24Speaker 15: two feet to the stall. They're going to let some
- 1:31:26Speaker 15: car hit it. They're going to let someone walk over it.
- 1:31:29Speaker 15: What a lazy thing to do.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Preach. Jesus, tell it. Now, to be fair.
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: I think Menace is looking at his page. This guy's
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: a little bit of a nut.
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: He probably wouldn't actually like you, Gina.
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: So many reasons.
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: I'm kind of a Jew.
- 1:31:43Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: But I like him.
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: Again, we can, you know, we separate the art from
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: the artist sort of thing, maybe.
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: It doesn't seem like you'd be a big fan of
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: Greg either.
- 1:31:52Speaker 10: Nope.
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: No gays, no Jews.
- 1:31:58Speaker 7: I'm not promoting everything he does.
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: Okay, so should I take back I want to go
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: to his church?
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: That'd be an interesting experience. Here he continues. I saw
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: this funny YouTube channel. It's called Cartnark. Has anyone seen this?
- 1:32:10Speaker 15: This guy, his whole channel is he shames people for
- 1:32:13Speaker 15: not putting away their shopping cart. He has like these
- 1:32:16Speaker 15: big magnets that says like, I'm lazy bones. And he
- 1:32:19Speaker 15: throws it on people's cars. And he just says like, oh,
- 1:32:21Speaker 15: put your shopping cart back. Boom, he throws it on
- 1:32:22Speaker 15: their car. I'm not recommending you do that, okay? You're
- 1:32:24Speaker 15: going to get shot. But man, you should be ashamed
- 1:32:27Speaker 15: if you don't put your shopping cart back. All right,
- 1:32:28Speaker 15: so loves cart narks, hates juice.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: Got it. And gays. And gays. Okay, so you know.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: Take the good with the bad. You pick a la carte. Greg,
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: look at the picture.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: I mean, straight as an arrow, right? I was going
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: to say, yeah. He doesn't like gay people. Come on now. Okay, well,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: there you go.
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: Putting himself in harm's way for the good of society.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: According to a local cop.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: Why do you think I was going to do that?
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Because you got it in your f * * *
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: ing hand. But I had it in my hand a
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: minute ago too. Get away from me, man. I found
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: myself recently telling myself in my head. God, you're really happy. Like,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: I'm just really happy. So I'm stoked that I'm happy.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: I'm stoked of how my life is going. So, yeah, overall,
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: for sure. There's elements in my life that are complete shame.
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: But the Woody show. All right, let's jump back into
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: Cheers and Jeers.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: We'll start with you, Gina Grad.
- 1:33:44Speaker 4: Yeah, huge shout-out to Costco Travel. I have been sleeping
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: on this, and I will never do it again. I
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: went to Hawaii, and they threw in everything. I don't
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: know if you guys have ever used Costco Travel.
- 1:33:57Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, I use it every time I go to Mexico.
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: It's incredible.
- 1:34:00Speaker 4: Let me tell you what was included in this trip.
- 1:34:03Speaker 4: The two round-trip flights to Hawaii... Five nights stay at
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: a five-star hotel, shout out Fairmont Orchid, a rental car,
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: no resort fees, no parking fees. Buffet breakfast every morning,
- 1:34:18Speaker 4: a cabana at the pool.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: A little White Lotus experience.
- 1:34:21Speaker 4: It was delicious. It was amazing. And it was very reasonable.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: So huge shout out to Costco Travel. So when you
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: say reasonable, you've got to give us an idea now
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: with all that.
- 1:34:29Speaker 4: For all of that, it was around four grand. So
- 1:34:32Speaker 4: two grand per person.
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: For a nice hotel.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: And I mean a beautiful resort. And you can handle
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: all the legwork.
- 1:34:39Speaker 9: Everything.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Everything.
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: Everything.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: Everything's so expensive.
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: Like, just breakfast will cost you $ 150, $ 200.
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: $ 160. Jesus.
- 1:34:48Speaker 4: It was $ 160 a day it was included.
- 1:34:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: Yeah, for two people.
- 1:34:53Speaker 4: So that was incredible. My jeers actually.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: Should be that I forgot all of your gifts.
- 1:34:58Speaker 6: I'm sorry.
- 1:34:58Speaker 4: I'll bring them tomorrow. But my jeers is to Mother
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: Nature not being on my schedule. The reason I really
- 1:35:04Speaker 4: wanted to go to the big islands because I wanted
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: to see episode 55, the big volcano eruption from Kilauea.
- 1:35:09Speaker 4: I was monitoring this thing. I was ready to go.
- 1:35:11Speaker 4: I had all the alerts.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: And I was like, Andy, let's go.
- 1:35:14Speaker 4: We drove three hours.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: To get to this volcano.
- 1:35:16Speaker 4: Sunny, beautiful. By the time we get up there, it
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: is so sucked in. We can't see three feet in.
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: Front of our face.
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: We go to the visitor center and they're like, oh, yeah, no,
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: you should probably just turn around and go home. So
- 1:35:26Speaker 4: we did three hours home. like five miles an hour
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: with our hazards on, couldn't see a thing.
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: We were starving. We were disappointed.
- 1:35:33Speaker 4: We sat down at this Mexican restaurant. I look over
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: Andy's shoulder on the TV and this volcano is spewing
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: hot orange lava. And all we could do was laugh.
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: I mean, it was such a bust, but it was
- 1:35:46Speaker 4: a pretty funny story.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: So the resort that I go to in Mexico, I
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: was talking to somebody else there and same deal, man.
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: They got this awesome, they were there on their honeymoon.
- 1:35:57Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: And they got this awesome deal in a really great
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: swim out suite, round trip airfare, the ground transportation, the
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: whole week there at the resort. And I want to
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: say for the two of them, it was.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: Like $ 3, 000. Yeah. This is an all-inclusive. So it's not
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: just your breakfast.
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: It's all your meals. It's all your booze.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: You can eat 24 hours a day.
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: And this is also a five-star all-inclusive. So it's like
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: top shelf stuff.
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: And normally I wouldn't spend that much, but it's technically
- 1:36:24Speaker 4: our five-year anniversary.
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: So we thought, eh, let's do it. It was so
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: worth it.
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: Well, I love it for going to Mexico because every
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: time they set up the car to pick you up
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: at the airport and take you straight to the resort,
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: it's the best.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: Costco travel, not a sponsor. Shut up.
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: Costco in general. How much do we end up talking
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: about Costco.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: In this show?
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: I went to two Costco's over the weekend looking for
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: a new chicken salad.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:36:48Speaker 5: I hate to break it to you. Costco doesn't need it.
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: We need to pick somebody else.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: So Costco travel travel. When I got the solar for
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: the house, there was a deal through Costco.
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: That's how I got it.
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: And not only was there a deal for Costco members,
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: because I already got a bid, by the way, from
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: this same company on the solar. And it was considerably
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: cheaper just because I was going through Costco. And on
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: top of that, The Costco people, for every $ 1, 000 or
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: whatever that you spent or however much you spent, you
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: got a certain amount back in Costco gift cards.
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: We ended up with like $ 2, 000 in Costco gift cards
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: just for getting the solar through them.
- 1:37:29Speaker 5: That's great.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: And I got the deal on the solar. Yeah, so
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: you're right. I mean, every time I'm walking through there,
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: I see.
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: They're the people with the, you know, you need new
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: air conditioning units or you need new flooring or cars.
- 1:37:38Speaker 3: Well, it's all the magazines and catalogs on the way
- 1:37:41Speaker 3: out from the door.
- 1:37:42Speaker 5: You just grab them. There's a ton of stuff there.
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: You talk about window treatments being a billion dollars. You
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: can get that through Costco. So, yeah, shout out to
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: Costco Travel. Morgan, cheers and jeers.
- 1:37:53Speaker 19: Well, this is going to sound lame, but cheers to discipline.
- 1:37:56Speaker 17: Am I right?
- 1:37:56Speaker 11: Sure.
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: Yeah. If you can. Depends on what you're being disciplined about. Exactly. Okay.
- 1:38:01Speaker 17: So I was reading something recently, Woody, and it was
- 1:38:03Speaker 17: a good quote.
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: You'd like it.
- 1:38:05Speaker 19: People think we don't have discipline or only certain people
- 1:38:07Speaker 19: have discipline. I don't think that's true anymore. We all
- 1:38:10Speaker 19: have discipline. It's just what do we have it towards, right?
- 1:38:12Speaker 19: Some of us are disciplined to drinking every day, right?
- 1:38:15Speaker 19: Or brushing your teeth.
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: What have you?
- 1:38:18Speaker 17: So I did this.
- 1:38:19Speaker 19: Little experiment with myself like, okay, how long can I
- 1:38:23Speaker 19: go without eating? How long can I go without my phone?
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: Oh, Greg, you've done that? Yeah, my limit was, I think,
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: seven days.
- 1:38:30Speaker 17: Are you serious?
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I was mega anorexic.
- 1:38:33Speaker 17: Oh my God, Greg, that's amazing.
- 1:38:34Speaker 5: Yeah, congrats.
- 1:38:37Speaker 19: Don't try that at home. So I did like a
- 1:38:40Speaker 19: full day of not eating. I did a full day
- 1:38:42Speaker 19: without my phone, like 24 hours, not on my phone,
- 1:38:45Speaker 19: no texting, no social media, nothing. Like that was actually hard,
- 1:38:49Speaker 19: but it felt good afterwards. So cheers to just testing
- 1:38:51Speaker 19: your discipline. You know, like I've been doing little things
- 1:38:54Speaker 19: of like, OK, what can I give up for a day?
- 1:38:56Speaker 19: What would be hard for me to not, you know,
- 1:38:58Speaker 19: look at today?
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: I think that's a it's a philosophical thing where you
- 1:39:01Speaker 4: say suffer voluntarily so you don't have to suffer involuntarily.
- 1:39:05Speaker 4: You like that, right? It's like Lent.
- 1:39:07Speaker 18: You're doing your own version of Lent.
- 1:39:10Speaker 19: It's good to like, I don't know, even exercise your
- 1:39:13Speaker 19: brain in different ways. The phone was the hardest one
- 1:39:16Speaker 19: for sure. Okay, cheers to, I hate to say this,
- 1:39:20Speaker 19: this takes a lot of growth and humility, so please
- 1:39:22Speaker 19: give me credit. Cheers to me and OJ Simpson, because
- 1:39:27Speaker 19: I watched that new documentary.
- 1:39:29Speaker 17: Have y'all seen it?
- 1:39:29Speaker 6: No.
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: I saw the trailer for it.
- 1:39:31Speaker 19: Yeah, it's about Juice, this undercover show. They had shot
- 1:39:34Speaker 19: tons of episodes.
- 1:39:35Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, it's like a prank show, right?
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: It's a big comeback. It's hilarious.
- 1:39:38Speaker 19: It was supposed to be a big comeback. The documentary's great.
- 1:39:42Speaker 19: I think it's HBO it's on. But, oh, I'm reconsidering
- 1:39:46Speaker 19: being a fan of OJ.
- 1:39:47Speaker 4: Uh-oh, but he had the tat.
- 1:39:48Speaker 17: I know.
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: What'd he do?
- 1:39:50Speaker 3: What'd he do?
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: That's so bad.
- 1:39:51Speaker 19: Towards the end of his life, Menace, he was like so,
- 1:39:56Speaker 19: I don't know, desperate for people to like him.
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:39:59Speaker 17: And it's just a hard watch. It's a great documentary, but, oh,
- 1:40:02Speaker 17: I just.
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:40:03Speaker 2: What specifically kind of stood out to you?
- 1:40:06Speaker 19: Well, he was a raging alcoholic and was just out
- 1:40:09Speaker 19: of control, allegedly. And then he was just so, he
- 1:40:12Speaker 19: needed cameras around and he would go.
- 1:40:13Speaker 17: Talk to people and be like, oh, did you get that? Like,
- 1:40:15Speaker 17: they like me, you know?
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: He's a thirsty bitch.
- 1:40:17Speaker 19: And it's people that don't like him, they're just scared
- 1:40:19Speaker 19: to be in front of him, right?
- 1:40:20Speaker 12: Why?
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: It's just awkward.
- 1:40:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: They don't want to be allegedly next.
- 1:40:25Speaker 17: Well, I don't want to give away too much.
- 1:40:26Speaker 19: But at one point in this prank show, he was
- 1:40:28Speaker 19: selling used Broncos at a, you know, car lot.
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: Didn't they have like bullet holes? Yeah.
- 1:40:33Speaker 4: I've seen that before.
- 1:40:34Speaker 19: So and then he would like talk to girls at
- 1:40:36Speaker 19: a bar and like try and hook up with every
- 1:40:38Speaker 19: girl he ever talked to, like during the show.
- 1:40:40Speaker 17: It was just, I got a bad taste in my mouth.
- 1:40:42Speaker 2: People moat Morgan's movies. That's what gave you the bad
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: taste in your mouth.
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: It's not a double murder.
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: It's always interesting where people decide to finally draw.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: A line on something.
- 1:40:50Speaker 17: God forbid I grow a little bit.
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: It wasn't everything else. It was this new documentary.
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: The prank show was thirsty.
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: Icky, yeah.
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: But if you're under 40, you don't realize how famous
- 1:40:58Speaker 2: he was and.
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: How likable he was. Oh, yeah.
- 1:41:01Speaker 3: Nordberg.
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: First guy. It's like Bill Cosby. Oh, America's father.
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: Yeah, like Bill Cosby, OJ Simpson were so loved. and
- 1:41:10Speaker 2: were so you know just i don't think iconic yeah
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: like they uh literally could do they could do.
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: No wrong until they could yeah yeah i don't know
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: about um bill cosby but it was always known that
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: oj was obsessed with being famous.
- 1:41:26Speaker 19: Really yeah well he was he's just i'm sure it
- 1:41:29Speaker 19: was easier to swallow when he was like likable but
- 1:41:32Speaker 19: towards the end of his life when he was so
- 1:41:33Speaker 19: desperate for like After he read a.
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: Book called If I Did It.
- 1:41:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:41:37Speaker 19: And I think they filmed this before he even wrote
- 1:41:39Speaker 19: that book. So that was him even trying more to like,
- 1:41:42Speaker 19: please like me.
- 1:41:42Speaker 7: 2006 was, that was right after Jackass, right after the
- 1:41:46Speaker 7: Jamie Kennedy experiment, right during Punk'd. So like prank shows
- 1:41:50Speaker 7: were the thing. Yeah, they were actively trying to copy Punk'd.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: I would have watched a hell of that.
- 1:41:54Speaker 17: It's a great documentary.
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but he ruined it for you.
- 1:41:57Speaker 17: Oh, but yikes. I felt really yucky.
- 1:41:59Speaker 19: And then I look down and I see my RIP
- 1:42:03Speaker 19: OJ tattoo and.
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, God, Morgan. LOL, OJ. I'm disciplined.
- 1:42:09Speaker 2: But think about how happy you would have made him
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: knowing that you have a tattoo.
- 1:42:13Speaker 5: That's a good point.
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: That's a good point.
- 1:42:15Speaker 17: He would be very happy about that.

- 1:43:52Speaker 1: Here he goes.
- 1:43:53Speaker 5: They also have a change of water bottles at Costco.
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: There's no more labels on them. Oh, really?
- 1:43:59Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: That's a good party spin.
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: All right. Come on. All right.

- 1:44:11Speaker 5: So if it lands on that, which it could.
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: Oh, no. It's going to pass that up.
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: It's going to land on.
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: Okay. Good. Respectable.
- 1:44:21Speaker 10: $ 400.
- 1:44:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:44:22Speaker 14: All right.
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: Thank you, Woody. $ 400 Costco gift card is yours. Congratulations, Tom.
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: We're number one in Anaheim. You know. You know. All right, man.
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: Hang on one second. We'll get all of your information.
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to The Woody Show.
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: There he is, Tom, everybody.
- 1:44:36Speaker 14: Thank you, guys.
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 1:44:37Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Morgan was sharing how she watched that new documentary
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: about OJ. And they were covering his time with Juiced,
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: his prank show. And you're right, there were a ton
- 1:44:52Speaker 2: of prank shows that time.
- 1:44:53Speaker 7: I don't think Juiced was ever released on the network.
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: I think there was like DVDs maybe, if I recall correctly.
- 1:44:57Speaker 5: I've only seen clips.
- 1:44:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, who was going to pick that show up? Yeah,
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: who was going to touch that? I'm saying there weren't
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: a thousand streaming services at that time.
- 1:45:05Speaker 5: I'm telling you, Tubi would have picked it up. Oh, sure.
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: Sorry, yeah, pay-per-view and DVD in 2006. Pay-per-view. Oh, pay-per-view.
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: You got juiced. Hey, you got juiced.
- 1:45:16Speaker 2: Just pranking three kids at an elementary school, hospitalized. One
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: of them attempted a prank that went wrong. Student went
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: into their backpack during class and got the fart spray.
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: And stunk up the entire place. And the smell was
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: so bad that a bunch of the other students in
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: the room got sick.
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:45:34Speaker 2: The school called 911. Emergency crews came in to clear
- 1:45:38Speaker 2: everyone out. They ended up taking three kids to the
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: hospital for respiratory distress.
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: Okay. Because it smelled bad. Right. Free Dave. If I
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: act bad enough, they'll send me out of school.
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: That's a good. Dude, I would have done that. Yeah.
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: I've had every type of fart spray you can imagine.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: You never ended up in the hospital? No. The sulfur ones,
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: I mean, some of those are really bad.
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: The little glass bottle ones?
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: It'll turn your stomach, especially if the room is small.
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: Those things stink up a big area.
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: What do you show? Taste test or smell test?
- 1:46:10Speaker 11: No.
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: Fart sprays. Who pukes first? Not in here. Is it
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: worse than Sammy? Sammy's actual fart. That's the question. At
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: the Jokoi show.
- 1:46:20Speaker 18: And that was in an open arena.
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: Ruined our night.
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: Sales and branding opportunity for the show. The school said
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: that they located the student, the spray they used. They
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: didn't say if the kid was in any kind of trouble.
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: I would imagine so. Oh, yeah. Get in trouble.
- 1:46:34Speaker 2: There was some kid that just another story recently. He
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: chewed his sandwich into the shape of a gun.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: And got in trouble.
- 1:46:41Speaker 4: For a sandwich gun.
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: Yeah, he took the sandwich, chewed it into the shape
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: of a gun. Yeah, that happened with Pop-Tart too, yeah.
- 1:46:47Speaker 2: That's the story back in the day. This just happened
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: like within the last couple of weeks.
- 1:46:50Speaker 4: Good God.
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it was more, I know, it's so throwback. Yeah,
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: it's for real.
- 1:46:54Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: First grader. Old timey. With autism. Oh, well.
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: Can't touch him.
- 1:46:59Speaker 2: It's like now you can't say anything about the juror.
- 1:47:01Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: Into Lindsey Clancy because they found out he's black.
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: That whole clip with, what's her name?
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: Gayle King. Gayle King. That was strange. It's so weird. Like,
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: why would you have to sit with that for a minute?
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: I'm going to have to sit with that information.
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: Like, if you are preaching about how color doesn't matter,
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: what would that mean that you would have to sit
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: with anything?
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: I'm just not smart enough.
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: Based on now you have knowledge of, you know, now
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: the race of the juror in question.
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 1:47:23Speaker 2: If you truly don't see color, why would you need
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: to sit with that? It should have no bearing on
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: the pure shock of it. I don't know how to
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: respond to that in a way that my bosses will like. Yeah.
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: I don't know how to not get myself in trouble.
- 1:47:35Speaker 2: Just pranking a high school in Arizona canceled the school's
- 1:47:38Speaker 2: entire football season, both varsity and junior varsity.
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: Why? Canceled the whole season? Yes.
- 1:47:45Speaker 4: Stole a live mascot.
- 1:47:47Speaker 5: Amazing in some way.
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:47:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:47:50Speaker 11: Drinking?
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: All right, Menace, you're on the right track. Anybody want
- 1:47:53Speaker 2: to take any more guesses based on that?
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: Hazing involving something sexual.
- 1:47:58Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, butt stuff. Yeah, Daisy Jane.
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: Well, thanks to an incident during summer football camp, a
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: bunch of the students were allegedly dry humping.
- 1:48:06Speaker 10: Hot.
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: Oh, for Taj, yeah. Yeah. What?
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: No one knows what the boys were humping or what
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: else is going on. The cops are keeping a pretty
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: tight lid on the entire investigation that they're doing. But
- 1:48:15Speaker 2: a bunch of faculty members at the school, I guess,
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: were also suspended because they may have been involved in
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: the incident. And there are so many players that are
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: being investigated. They don't have enough eligible players to actually play.
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: Which is why they had to.
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: Cancel the whole season.
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: Put me in.
- 1:48:30Speaker 5: I'm down.
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: For dry humping.
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: Dry humping. Which they're going to be doing anyway. Guys,
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: I've done this before, as you might imagine. Or I
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: wasn't started.
- 1:48:39Speaker 7: I was part of it. And again, frottage is the
- 1:48:41Speaker 7: French word for it. It just means rubbing or whatever.
- 1:48:43Speaker 7: But the idea is it's like a dog and it's
- 1:48:45Speaker 7: not gay at all.
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: No. No. So the idea is you're showing dominance. Like
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: what a dog does with the toys on your leg.
- 1:48:52Speaker 7: So the idea is you pick a guy, whoever, and
- 1:48:54Speaker 7: everyone yells for Taj. And then everyone humps that guy,
- 1:48:58Speaker 7: and he's like, ah, get away! But he can't, because
- 1:49:01Speaker 7: he's been surrounded by a fratage.
- 1:49:02Speaker 3: Oh, he's trying to.
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: There's nothing more homoerotic than a frat.
- 1:49:07Speaker 2: It's dry, not wet humping. And your clothes are on,
- 1:49:10Speaker 2: unless you're in the showers, then whatever.
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: You use a towel. Is the guy running? Did anybody
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: call fratage when the showers were happening? No, this was
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: after high school. Is any guy ever like.
- 1:49:19Speaker 17: Fratage?
- 1:49:20Speaker 4: Who said that?
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: Come get me now. I mean, no. I'm trying to
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: get away. I would hate that so much.
- 1:49:26Speaker 5: No, stop.
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: I've not heard that term before. Fratage? It's odd. Like
- 1:49:30Speaker 1: a breakfast item. You Google it. There's WebMD.
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: Does fratage lead to HIV?
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:49:37Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: How about this? Not if you're doing it right. Healthline. Yes,
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: you can contract HIV from dry mouth. You can? How?
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: How exactly?
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:49:45Speaker 2: Let me see here.
- 1:49:45Speaker 10: Fun variations.
- 1:49:46Speaker 1: Fun variations. Is it supposed to be safer?
- 1:49:48Speaker 8: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: I guess you'd have to be leaking or something. Well,
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: you would have to be nude. Yeah. And it would
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: have to be wiener to wiener. To me, that's not
- 1:49:56Speaker 1: dry humping. That's not fratage. That's not dry humping, but
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: that's fratage. It's like Rochambeau. Yeah. You know? Do you
- 1:50:03Speaker 1: know what Rochambeau is? Paper rock scissors?
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: That's kicking each other in the balls, right? They did
- 1:50:09Speaker 2: that on South Park. I'll Rochambeau for it. I think
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: South Park bastardized. Oh, I thought it was rock, paper, scissors.
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: I think that's apocryphal, as Menace would say.
- 1:50:18Speaker 1: He's always told another one.
- 1:50:22Speaker 2: Menace and his big words.
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: Vertage and dry humping, clearly different. Yeah, thank you. Vertage
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: requires the nudity.
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: There was a time where dry humping would have been great.
- 1:50:32Speaker 2: As an adult, though, I don't know. It's like, like
- 1:50:35Speaker 2: you cross. I've talked about, you know, when you like
- 1:50:37Speaker 2: bikes are fine. Traveling by bicycle is acceptable until you're
- 1:50:42Speaker 2: old enough to get a driver's license. Then when that's
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: your mode of transportation, not as cool.
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: Right. Right. Uh, that's how we, we said about making
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: out to.
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: Making out boring handies, like hand jobs. Um, like that
- 1:50:57Speaker 2: had its time.
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: And its place. That had its heyday.
- 1:51:00Speaker 2: But like once you're an adult in an adult consensual relationship,
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: I mean, I guess in a pinch when there's nothing else.
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: It could be fun for variety.
- 1:51:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:51:11Speaker 4: You never in your marriage.
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: Just that?
- 1:51:15Speaker 4: No, I mean, make that part of it. It doesn't
- 1:51:17Speaker 4: have to be the whole thing. Like, it doesn't have
- 1:51:19Speaker 4: to be beginning, middle, and end.
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Solo.
- 1:51:21Speaker 2: There's different things that are part of the overall experience.
- 1:51:24Speaker 2: If it ended in intercourse, you know, or a mouth party,
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: that's the end. But if it's just a handy, eh.
- 1:51:30Speaker 4: That's disappointing.
- 1:51:32Speaker 5: Who wants that?
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: We have other options.
- 1:51:35Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:51:35Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:51:35Speaker 2: Like you have a driver's license now. You don't have
- 1:51:37Speaker 2: to get to the store now.
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: Put your skateboard away. Yeah.
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: With your bike or your skateboard.
- 1:51:41Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: Yeah. And I hate to break it to you, lady.
- 1:51:43Speaker 5: I can do it way better.
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: Yeah. I just saw on the news. Yeah, you.
- 1:51:49Speaker 4: Take that, Nacho.
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: I just saw on the news.
- 1:51:52Speaker 2: Over the weekend, they did a buyback program of e-bikes.
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: E-bikes. Yeah. Like they do with guns.
- 1:51:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:51:59Speaker 2: They'll do one of those things where the cops show up.
- 1:52:01Speaker 4: No questions asked.
- 1:52:02Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:52:02Speaker 2: And they'll do the buyback program where you can bring
- 1:52:04Speaker 2: your guns in.
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: They'll take them. No questions asked.
- 1:52:07Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: But they just did that with e-bikes.
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: Did anyone show up?
- 1:52:10Speaker 2: Yeah, there was a ton of bikes.
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: No, I would never take my e-bike back.
- 1:52:12Speaker 4: I know, from my cold, dead hand.
- 1:52:14Speaker 2: No.
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, you do it to the kid. If the
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: kid's in trouble, you say, I'm going to the buyback program.
- 1:52:19Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: And I'm keeping the money.
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: Well, why don't they just like, if they're busting kids
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: who are doing the dumb stuff on the e-bikes, it's
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: just automatic confiscation. Like, you're not getting it back.
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: Yeah. Then that goes to this kind of thing.
- 1:52:30Speaker 7: I saw my first ever No Good Teens on e-bikes.
- 1:52:33Speaker 7: They've always been on dirt bikes, but over the weekend.
- 1:52:36Speaker 1: It was way less cool. Sorry. Yeah, it's like mini bikes.
- 1:52:39Speaker 1: Way less cool. You got the cocaine hot sauce. I
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: want to play you this clip.
- 1:52:50Speaker 2: This is a mom, and she's refusing.
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: To bring her son to Taco Bell.
- 1:52:58Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: Nightmare.
- 1:53:00Speaker 2: This is during the kid plays football, and I guess
- 1:53:05Speaker 2: he's not playing very well.
- 1:53:07Speaker 13: Oh.
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: And the mom's like, I ain't bringing you to Taco Bell.
- 1:53:10Speaker 1: I'm back on board.
- 1:53:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so obviously there are people that have some opinions
- 1:53:15Speaker 2: on this mom and her parenting.
- 1:53:16Speaker 1: Here's the clip.
- 1:53:17Speaker 6: When we get done with the game, you want to
- 1:53:20Speaker 6: get some Taco Bell? You ain't did sh * *
- 1:53:23Speaker 6: in the game, but you want Taco Bell? Go sit
- 1:53:25Speaker 6: your big ass over there with your friend, with your teammate,
- 1:53:28Speaker 6: and get in the game and block somebody.
- 1:53:29Speaker 11: Bye. Yeah.
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: Yeah, go block somebody, and then maybe we can talk
- 1:53:33Speaker 1: about Taco Bell. Get your big ass over there with
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: your friends. I can sense fat kids from the voice. Yeah.
- 1:53:39Speaker 17: Hey, Ma, you think either way we can go with
- 1:53:42Speaker 17: Taco Bell?
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: When we get done with the game, you.
- 1:53:45Speaker 6: Want to get some Taco Bell? You ain't did s * * *
- 1:53:49Speaker 6: in the game, but you want Taco Bell. I'm going
- 1:53:51Speaker 6: to sit your big ass over there with your friend,
- 1:53:53Speaker 6: with your teammate, and get in the game and block somebody.
- 1:53:55Speaker 11: Bye.
- 1:53:56Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: What's the problem?
- 1:53:57Speaker 1: Bye.
- 1:53:59Speaker 2: Love her.
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: That is so funny, man. That's parenting.
- 1:54:04Speaker 2: That does sound like a menace suggestion or request, though.
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: Right. In the middle of the game. That's every reward.
- 1:54:09Speaker 2: Well, I remember we used to ask for, like, hey,
- 1:54:11Speaker 2: can we go get ice cream after the game?
- 1:54:12Speaker 1: Yeah, pizza. Yeah, pizza. Like, that's where the team would go.
- 1:54:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's dependent on how hard you worked out there.
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: Yeah, my son.
- 1:54:18Speaker 5: Pizza's for winners, though.
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: My son, by the way, just had his first game
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: on the high school team with the hockey team.
- 1:54:24Speaker 11: Oh!
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: And they won.
- 1:54:25Speaker 2: And then afterwards, all the kids were, like, you know,
- 1:54:27Speaker 2: campaigning for the parents to take to... Raising Cane's, which
- 1:54:31Speaker 2: is around the corner. And so we all ended up
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: at Raising Cane's.
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: Nice!
- 1:54:35Speaker 2: It's still a thing I want to go, but nobody
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: was coming off the bench to come ask us.
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: During the game.
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: This kid, he came off the bench to his mom.
- 1:54:47Speaker 2: Not even thinking about the game, just thinking about Taco Bell.
- 1:54:51Speaker 5: Alright.
- 1:54:52Speaker 2: What do you think about this, Greg? You have been
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: on record as saying that you don't mind if you
- 1:54:59Speaker 2: go to like a fast food place, and the person
- 1:55:02Speaker 2: working the drive-thru is all cute.
- 1:55:04Speaker 1: Prefer it.
- 1:55:05Speaker 5: Oh, really friendly.
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: Love it. He prefers it. Greetings. Welcome to Chick-fil-A.
- 1:55:09Speaker 2: I don't care if it's sincere or not. All right, well,
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: what do you think about this? This is at a McDonald's.
- 1:55:15Speaker 2: Guy pulls up to the drive-thru, and this is what
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: he gets.
- 1:55:17Speaker 11: Welcome to McDonald's. Do you want a double quarter? Welcome
- 1:55:21Speaker 11: to McDonald's. Can I take your order? Whenever you be ready,
- 1:55:25Speaker 11: just let me take your order.
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: What you need?
- 1:55:28Speaker 11: What you need? What you need?
- 1:55:30Speaker 13: Ha!
- 1:55:31Speaker 1: I'd be amused by that. You would? Yeah. Why not?
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: Because he didn't use proper grammar. Yeah, but it's fun.
- 1:55:36Speaker 1: Whenever you are ready.
- 1:55:39Speaker 18: What do you need?
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: Whenever you are ready. Do you want a quarter? I
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: love your enthusiasm, young sir.
- 1:55:46Speaker 11: Welcome to McDonald's. Do you want a double quarter? Welcome
- 1:55:50Speaker 11: to McDonald's. Can I take your order? Whenever you be ready,
- 1:55:54Speaker 11: just let me take your order.
- 1:55:55Speaker 5: What you need?
- 1:55:56Speaker 11: What you need? What you need?
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: What you need? What you need? That's a little forceful there.
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: What you need? But no, I would appreciate that. Look,
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: they're trying to entertain themselves at work.
- 1:56:06Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's better than the fake, like, hi, do
- 1:56:08Speaker 4: you have your app? Like, that's, shut up.
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: You never know if, like, you know, Rick Ross is
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: coming through.
- 1:56:14Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 1:56:15Speaker 1: On the drive-thru, he might discover it.
- 1:56:16Speaker 4: He's going to pluck you out of the chorus.
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: McDonald's got talent. I hate that because my first thought
- 1:56:22Speaker 1: is sanitation. Like.
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: If they're, like, messing around that much on there, I'm like.
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: They're not really playing anything. And you're not wrong on this. Yeah,
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: that attitude. I know. We screwed around on jobs. We
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: weren't doing that kind of stuff. How about a Woody
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: Show skydive?
- 1:56:37Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure. We'd be no good team.
- 1:56:40Speaker 2: Like, whoever wants to go. I'm not sure how the
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: company would feel about that from a liability standpoint.
- 1:56:45Speaker 4: That's a good point.
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: Like, we're going to have to volunteer. I wanted to
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: do it, but the company said no. I would do
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: it again. If Greg agreed to do it, I would
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: do it again.
- 1:56:53Speaker 4: You could do tandem.
- 1:56:56Speaker 2: I've always said that I did it. I satisfied my
- 1:56:59Speaker 2: curiosity about it.
- 1:57:00Speaker 1: Right. And I have no real need to do it again.
- 1:57:01Speaker 1: And it was great. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But it's
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: one of those, like, do I need to do it again? No.
- 1:57:07Speaker 1: But if Greg was going to go do it, and
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: it was the only way everybody went and did it,
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: I would totally go. I hate that expression, never say never,
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: because what's wrong with saying never? I would, nah. Ever
- 1:57:18Speaker 1: do it. Ever. Even if the plane was going down
- 1:57:21Speaker 1: and that was the way to... I'm not doing it. Really? No. Never.
- 1:57:25Speaker 4: Would you rather do that or bungee jump off a bridge?
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 1:57:29Speaker 2: Like, you know, like with those.
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: Probably bungee jump.
- 1:57:33Speaker 9: Really?
- 1:57:34Speaker 1: Did you do the Brazilian version?
- 1:57:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:57:36Speaker 4: No, you're actually attached to something.
- 1:57:38Speaker 2: I am with stuff like this, the way that people,
- 1:57:41Speaker 2: other people are, and I am not... When it comes
- 1:57:43Speaker 2: to food, I'm not adventurous.
- 1:57:45Speaker 1: No. So I was like, oh, this is Gator. Try it. Nope. No, never.
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: Never for that? That's nothing. See?
- 1:57:52Speaker 2: And like when people talk about these other things they
- 1:57:54Speaker 2: want to do, like, you know, bungee jump or skydive or,
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: you know, whatever.
- 1:57:59Speaker 10: Sure.
- 1:57:59Speaker 7: I would say the analogy is imperfect as Gator has
- 1:58:02Speaker 7: a low possibility of killing you if you're eating it.
- 1:58:04Speaker 2: Well, no, I'm not talking about i'm saying like how
- 1:58:06Speaker 2: people have that never and people go oh no big
- 1:58:08Speaker 2: deal that's your never yeah that's that's my never it's
- 1:58:11Speaker 2: weird that like i have a sense of adventure when
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: it comes to things like that jumping out and not
- 1:58:16Speaker 2: have a sense of adventure when it comes to.
- 1:58:17Speaker 1: You know trying food trying some interesting food yeah i.
- 1:58:21Speaker 2: Was talking to somebody the other day man i'm like
- 1:58:23Speaker 2: man it'd be really cool you see these uh Guys
- 1:58:27Speaker 2: in the planes, they fly them into hurricanes.
- 1:58:30Speaker 1: Oh, great idea. No, that would be cool. That would
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: be super cool. If you're in the middle, nothing's going on.
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: You just got to get to the middle.
- 1:58:35Speaker 2: No, but to me, I think that would be interesting.
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: That would be something that I would do.
- 1:58:41Speaker 1: Well, you and Menace have been meaning to do or
- 1:58:43Speaker 1: wanting to do the zero gravity plane. Yes, the vomit comet.
- 1:58:46Speaker 5: Zero G, dude.
- 1:58:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the company, right?
- 1:58:49Speaker 5: Zero G.
- 1:58:49Speaker 1: That's still on your bucket list? Yeah.
- 1:58:51Speaker 2: We're still trying to get Menace to eat vegetables. We're
- 1:58:53Speaker 2: going to start there. I've got an heirloom tomato in
- 1:58:56Speaker 2: studio that menace won't touch.
- 1:58:57Speaker 1: Oh, is that what that is?
- 1:58:58Speaker 4: It smells really good.
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: There's a plate of tomatoes sitting over there.
- 1:59:02Speaker 7: Every time we've brought up tomatoes for the past 10 years,
- 1:59:04Speaker 7: menace says, oh, they taste like nothing.
- 1:59:06Speaker 5: It's just water. Throwing water on top of your food.
- 1:59:08Speaker 7: And I said, well, yeah, your fast food tomato probably
- 1:59:10Speaker 7: does taste like not much. But if you get like
- 1:59:11Speaker 7: a real dark brown earthy heirloom tomato.
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: Like full on farmer's market. I went to the farmer's market.
- 1:59:18Speaker 1: Are they marinated? Is that what they use in the jar? No.
- 1:59:20Speaker 7: No, that's literally raw. It was so tender and soft
- 1:59:23Speaker 7: and juicy. It's so flavorful. I've had like five slices.
- 1:59:25Speaker 1: Hand it to Menace. I was like a 30-year-old basic bitch.
- 1:59:29Speaker 7: I went to the farmer's market.
- 1:59:32Speaker 1: It's just a tomato. There's nothing on it, right?
- 1:59:35Speaker 4: That is a taste explosion.
- 1:59:37Speaker 5: It's so rich.
- 1:59:38Speaker 1: That is just nature's candy. It's perfect.
- 1:59:41Speaker 2: It's just a tomato. There's nothing on it, right? There's
- 1:59:45Speaker 2: no seasoning of any kind.
- 1:59:46Speaker 1: I washed it and cut it and that is it.
- 1:59:48Speaker 1: All right, let's go ahead. Absolutely. Just put the whole
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: thing in there.
- 1:59:52Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:59:53Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 1:59:55Speaker 4: It's a tomato.
- 1:59:56Speaker 1: Don't you like tomato sauce?
- 1:59:58Speaker 4: Spaghetti sauce?
- 1:59:59Speaker 1: Are you serious? It got halfway in his mouth. It
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: came right out. He didn't even take a bite of it.
- 2:00:03Speaker 3: It's delicious.
- 2:00:04Speaker 1: He bit it. I think it squirted.
- 2:00:06Speaker 5: It exploded in my mouth.
- 2:00:07Speaker 1: That's because it's juicy. Juicy and delicious.
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: Mattis, we're going to save one last slice for you
- 2:00:10Speaker 2: to try again.
- 2:00:10Speaker 3: I don't want it!
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: Wait here.
- 2:00:12Speaker 2: I'll take whichever one you don't want.
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you pick. We slice, you pick.
- 2:00:16Speaker 5: How about both of them?
- 2:00:16Speaker 1: I don't want them. This one's smaller. I'll take the
- 2:00:18Speaker 1: larger one. Just bite the half of it off. Oh,
- 2:00:20Speaker 1: I'm so jealous. Again, these are so juicy and delicious.
- 2:00:22Speaker 5: So good.
- 2:00:23Speaker 4: I know.
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: This is sacrilege what you're doing. How's it good? Yeah.
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: That's amazing. Yeah, it's a thick, rich, salty, umami.
- 2:00:31Speaker 4: Like you said, earthy.
- 2:00:31Speaker 1: Yeah, earthy. Put the whole thing in your mouth and
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: just chew it. Put the whole thing in your mouth
- 2:00:36Speaker 1: and just chew it. It's a tomato. It's a tomato slice.
- 2:00:40Speaker 1: I'm going to pass out. Oh, my God. Put the
- 2:00:42Speaker 1: whole thing in there. The whole thing.
- 2:00:43Speaker 2: Keep it in there. It's just a tomato.
- 2:00:46Speaker 1: He can't physically get it to him. His face is
- 2:00:49Speaker 1: so red, dude.
- 2:00:49Speaker 3: Why is your face red?
- 2:00:52Speaker 4: It's tomato red.
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: Do it. Just chew. Chew, chew, chew, chew, chew, chew, chew.
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: He's drooling. His shoe fell off. It's just a tomato. Whoa, whoa. What?
- 2:01:05Speaker 2: What's wrong with him?
- 2:01:08Speaker 1: Because his mom didn't make him eat vegetables. When he says,
- 2:01:11Speaker 1: it's just like putting water on your burger. Okay, I
- 2:01:14Speaker 1: understand where... It's like butt water.
- 2:01:17Speaker 2: I understand where you say, oh, it kind of waters
- 2:01:20Speaker 2: down the flavor.
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: Therefore, I don't like tomatoes or lettuce on a burger.
- 2:01:26Speaker 2: Not to say that the tomato itself is bad.
- 2:01:28Speaker 1: It's like roots. I mean, they're not using these... High
- 2:01:32Speaker 1: quality tomatoes. It's like fruits. TV show roots?
- 2:01:35Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 2:01:35Speaker 1: I agree.
- 2:01:35Speaker 5: Faster tomatoes.
- 2:01:38Speaker 4: You would throw up at a beet for sure.
- 2:01:41Speaker 1: That tastes like straight up dirt. That is so... Menace,
- 2:01:43Speaker 1: why do you think me, Greg, Gina are like, oh man,
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: that's so good. And you're like, beet!
- 2:01:48Speaker 11: Right.
- 2:01:48Speaker 1: Even I did it. I know, because your mouth's broken.
- 2:01:51Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 2:01:52Speaker 1: As you say, it's like water.
- 2:01:53Speaker 5: There's better food out there, dude.
- 2:01:54Speaker 1: I don't think there is. You don't think there is?
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: It doesn't taste like.
- 2:01:59Speaker 4: Well, you like tomato-flavored things.
- 2:02:01Speaker 2: How about those tomatoes with some, like, fresh mozzarella?
- 2:02:07Speaker 1: Oh, there's some burrata.
- 2:02:09Speaker 5: Burrata.
- 2:02:09Speaker 1: Some basil. Oh, God. I think the basil's a waste
- 2:02:11Speaker 1: of time on that salad.
- 2:02:13Speaker 3: Yeah, but I know, like, okay, so you're talking about, like,
- 2:02:16Speaker 3: little pieces of bread with a little tomato on it
- 2:02:18Speaker 3: and then the stuff on top.
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: Like brisket.
- 2:02:20Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: So what's the difference?
- 2:02:22Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's just dolled up together, but just straight up, like...
- 2:02:26Speaker 3: Butt tomato?
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: Yeah, butt juice? I'm good, dude.
- 2:02:28Speaker 2: So is that kind of like how I'm talking about
- 2:02:30Speaker 2: with like avocado? Like if avocado's in a sushi roll,
- 2:02:34Speaker 2: no problem. But just the avocado by itself?
- 2:02:38Speaker 4: Well, remember what it's supposed to taste like. Clean schlong.
- 2:02:41Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. That's what Gina said. Well, that's what the
- 2:02:43Speaker 1: internet said, and I agree.
- 2:02:45Speaker 2: Avocado tastes like clean penis. What if we took that
- 2:02:48Speaker 2: tomato and soaked it in Code Red Mountain Dew?
- 2:02:51Speaker 1: Then let's go. Wait, what were they doing?
- 2:02:54Speaker 2: It was like pickles and Kool-Aid or something?
- 2:02:56Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 2:02:56Speaker 4: That was not bad.
- 2:02:57Speaker 1: That was a big thing earlier this year. I thought
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: it would be gross.
- 2:03:00Speaker 4: It wasn't that bad.
- 2:03:00Speaker 6: 877-44-FOOT.

- 2:03:43Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:03:43Speaker 2: All right, Greg Gorey, parting words of wisdom, please.
- 2:03:46Speaker 1: Yeah, a clear conscience is usually the sign of a
- 2:03:49Speaker 1: bad memory.
- 2:03:49Speaker 4: Ah, I like that.
- 2:03:52Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:03:53Speaker 1: We all guilty of something. We all did something.
- 2:03:56Speaker 2: I'm not going to remember it now. I heard a
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: really good quote. You know how everybody's got things? Nobody's
- 2:04:02Speaker 2: got a perfect record, right? Like everybody's got something that
- 2:04:05Speaker 2: they wish they would have done differently or they helped.
- 2:04:07Speaker 2: You know, like a regret or you made a mistake
- 2:04:10Speaker 2: or something, right?
- 2:04:11Speaker 1: Except for CBAS, yeah. Well, except for CBAS. Right.
- 2:04:15Speaker 2: Man, there's a really great quote about how you can't
- 2:04:17Speaker 2: just keep yourself on trial for the rest of your life.
- 2:04:21Speaker 15: Oh.
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: For something in the past that you can't go back on.
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: The fact that you're even thinking about it or the
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: fact that you do feel that way is a good
- 2:04:27Speaker 2: sign because it means that you do have some kind
- 2:04:30Speaker 2: of perspective about, hey, I made a mistake.
- 2:04:32Speaker 1: I would do things that you've learned from it.
- 2:04:35Speaker 2: The hell if I can remember on a Monday what
- 2:04:36Speaker 2: the goddamn quote is.
- 2:04:37Speaker 1: But the way you paraphrase it makes sense.
- 2:04:39Speaker 18: It's almost like if you cheat on someone, you can
- 2:04:42Speaker 18: forgive yourself.
- 2:04:43Speaker 1: It's kind of like that. Sounds like a cheater to me.
- 2:04:47Speaker 1: All right, thank you very much, Greg Gorey.
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: Thank you so much for giving The Woody Show some
- 2:04:51Speaker 2: of your valuable time this morning. You know, we love
- 2:04:53Speaker 2: and appreciate you for that. The rest of you guys
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: can suck it. Catch you back here on Tuesday.
- 2:04:57Speaker 1: Have a great day. SMD double M.
- 2:05:00Speaker 2: I quit this bitch.
