Brunswick County’s hit Stage Three water restrictions—no sprinklers, no pool filling, no car washing—because nearly a third of the area is in exceptional drought, the worst level. Fines start at $100, jump to $400 on the second offense, and hit $600 plus water cutoff on the third. Exceptions?
