  Maybe you could tell us a little bit about like, how you been

  enjoying your first couple of weeks with lots of distractions

  and squirrel moments and dragonfly.

  So I am ashamed to say that at this moment.

  I still haven't finished the story.

  Because now granted like life invasions, I didn't really get
• 1:20
  to take any time off for a dragonfly and I had stuff out
• 1:23
  you know, offline to take care of but then when I do play there
• 1:27
  is these amazing side-quests because blizzards doing good job
• 1:30
  making you care about the side quests and the people in them
• 1:34
  and they're making you cry and laugh and all those things.
• 1:38
  So, I'll get to a moment where I'm like, I'm going to, I'm
• 1:41
  going to focus on the story. We're gonna make some move on
• 1:43
  the story. Oh, but look at these tusks are
• 1:46
  There's over here. They're doing things look have
• 1:48
  another race over here and go. Look, I can go pick that flower
• 1:52
  over there, so it's just, it is wonderful.

  I've been taking my time. I'm gonna finish the story today
• 1:59
  or tomorrow but it's been, it's been fantastic.

  Oh yeah. Everybody has gotten sidetracked
• 2:08
  by the side quest. So I've got to ask you though,

  which zone. Did he hit 70?

  And then, I was still in the plains.

  Yeah I was I was towards the end of the Plains but I was
• 2:21
  absolutely still on the plains I hadn't even touched foot in
• 2:25
  Azure span yet when I hit 70. Yeah yeah.

  That that is reminiscent of the stories we've been having here

  because it was right about when I was like part way through the
• 2:35
  plains where I was I said wait a second I'm 68 and I've still got
• 2:39
  two more zones to go. Okay.

  No more side quests, no more, no more rares not to get
• 2:44
  distracted. get through this just because I didn't want to be
• 2:49
  Playing through the story at level 70 scaling.
• 2:54
  But not, but not having like good gear.

  You haven't had to deal with that problem.

  Because even though you're not through the story, your rating,
• 3:04
  right? I have ringing.
• 3:06
  So I got to a point because, you know, we set some, you know,
• 3:09
  some guidelines and some, you know, benchmarks we had hit to
• 3:13
  build a raid for we can meal. I'll do it together and be
• 3:16
  successful and I totally respect it was, I'm level 36.

  T, very doable. Very, very doable unless you're
• 3:23
  me and you didn't have as much time to play, and then we did
• 3:27
  play copying distracted because you were having so much fun.
• 3:30
  So, I got to a point where I had to kind of side.

  Okay, I know me. My playstyle, I have a little
• 3:37
  bit limited amount of time. Before our first raid night, I
• 3:40
  can either keep going story or I could work.
• 3:42
  My item level, everyone's like, finish the story finish the
• 3:45
  store, your gear item up flat item of up that way.
• 3:49
  Not because I know how slow I go because I'm soaking it all in.
• 3:53
  And sure. I might finish the story in
• 3:56
  time, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna have time to go do the
• 3:58
  world quest and all these other things to get it up.

  Some, like, screw it. I'm just gonna work on a little
• 4:02
  bit of crafting and I'm going to spam Dungeons and I'll get it
• 4:05
  that way and sure enough by Ray and I was 361 and I made it.

  Now I'm at like 3:00 as of last night I'm at 368 and I'm almost
• 4:16
  done with the story, I think maybe Maybe no spoilers from
• 4:22
  sear. The other part of it is that
• 4:28
  when you're doing all of these Dungeons and all of that you are
• 4:32
  the Healer or you get forced into healing over and over and
• 4:36
  every expansion just so much quicker to heal.
• 4:38
  Anyway so I might as well Q is he other and you play a priest
• 4:45
  right? I do.
• 4:46
  Yes. Yeah.

  So how has priest been Landing for you?
• 4:49
  A dragon flight with all these talents and such pretty good.

  I'm still getting used to a couple changes here and there
• 4:56
  and for healing, I noticed in re the last couple weeks.

  I'm struggling a bit with not having my Covenant ability.
• 5:06
  Because as a night Faye, I was able to decrease the cooldowns
• 5:11
  on my big healings. My big healings, get my big
• 5:14
  feelings and now that I don't have that, I'm like, oh my God,
• 5:18
  this cool. Time takes forever.
• 5:20
  Come back. I miss my night fee.
• 5:25
  So I the night with a one isn't in the new trees then.
• 5:29
  No no not at least four holy priests and how that was
• 5:34
  managed, it would be lovely, I miss it.

  So then you raid at a normal level, with your, your group
• 5:44
  with a lot of great people in their toasty and stone and many,
• 5:48
  many friends that we have in common and you guys allowed me
• 5:53
  to hop, well, you know, hop in and play along with you last
• 5:58
  night. So I do appreciate that.

  We like to get to enjoy. That's fun.

  Shout out to failings of not. You guys are if not great at
• 6:07
  least tolerable despite being Alliance.

  Hey, now we also are welcoming of all players, it's fine.

  And this this year, it'll be interesting this year because
• 6:18
  we're really like we're normal right now but we are definitely
• 6:21
  in a OTC Guild but we always start with normal.
• 6:24
  But we're trying to really push into heroic as soon as possible
• 6:27
  so we'll see how that goes this tier.

  Hopefully, hopefully it's good. So then how are you enjoying the
• 6:33
  raid? So far.

  Has it been like because like The SFO broke some guilds, it
• 6:41
  was just so hard and everybody was wondering how this raid
• 6:45
  would land. So for you, how has this raid
• 6:47
  landed thus far, not bad. I really like the beginning, you
• 6:52
  know, dragging the salt with the bombing run.
• 6:55
  I think that's a lot of fun and the whole time my brains going.
• 6:58
  So that's pretty great. And that's been pretty good

  bosses are decent. I don't like oh man, what's the
• 7:06
  name? Dr. Theodore Asia.

  Oh, the wind Elemental in dude, that's your ascended.

  Yeah, thankfully it just got nerves so I haven't played it

  since nerve. I think we're going to do that
• 7:16
  tonight, but it was at least on normal for a large raid.

  It was a bit rough. So I'm hoping the nerves going
• 7:25
  to help with that but and the spider boss is pretty fun, it's
• 7:30
  just it's a lot of movement and just kind of getting the hang of
• 7:33
  it you know get the dance down a cool.

  But overall I'm enjoying There's some uniqueness to mechanics
• 7:39
  which is really nice and, you know, I think we're all kind of
• 7:43
  getting the hang of our rotations and whatnots and I'm
• 7:47
  enjoying it so far excited to see more.

  I have to say that the spider boss the spider boss is what
• 7:55
  broke me? I oh yeah I played week one was
• 7:59
  reading with with my team we're going through the spider boss,
• 8:04
  we got the spider boss down, I was happy for that.

  At, but I felt like I embarrassed myself.
• 8:10
  My DPS was just garbage and like it's part of learning a new
• 8:18
  class. Yeah, I was, I was playing
• 8:22
  warlock was playing Affliction. Affliction is very in depth and
• 8:28
  has a lot of buttons and has a lot of ramp up and when you have
• 8:31
  such a high movement fight. Yeah.
• 8:34
  Oh my gosh. Yeah.
• 8:36
  And then On top of that, as I was going through the last
• 8:42
  couple of weeks getting prepared for raid.
• 8:45
  I just felt like I wasn't getting the hang of reflection
• 8:48
  so I made a last-minute change to try to do, demonology to try
• 8:52
  and get that going it, it's a little bit easier for me, it
• 8:59
  was, but it was just, it was not working.
• 9:02
  So right now, I have put the Warlock on the side and I'm
• 9:11
  still playing it, trying to learn how to actually warlock
• 9:17
  properly. There is some fixes that are
• 9:21
  coming for affliction that should make it better for
• 9:25
  affliction or I may stick with demonology.
• 9:28
  I'm not sure I'm trying to figure out that warlock but
• 9:32
  while I'm doing that so that I don't Embarrass myself in raid,
• 9:37
  I geared up my Shaman and I think this is a really, this is
• 9:44
  something I want to share because a lot of people will
• 9:48
  chase gear will chase like the flavor of the month to be like,
• 9:56
  okay well you know what? Let me go with this because it's
• 10:00
  got the all the stuff that like my brain will need and For for
• 10:05
  my RAID we have a lot of a volkers running around Hunters.
• 10:09
  This male is really chalked full so I want to move off of mail.

  We did have a lot of rain so you're a lot of melee in the
• 10:17
  last tier so it was hey can you do a range?
• 10:22
  And I had been working to do the Warlock because it fit all the
• 10:27
  stuff that my rate needed. and then I brought my Shaman in and
• 10:32
  my Shaman is over 30 item levels lower than my Warlock.

  And yet my ability on my Shaman allows me to do equivalent DPS
• 10:46
  despite the item level difference.
• 10:48
  So like sometimes it's just what, you know, it's so true.

  Like there's been so many times I've been meaning holy priest
• 10:55
  for many expansions now and there's been multiple times not
• 10:58
  so much unless, you know, couple expansions with the government
• 11:01
  now, but there were times the past session was more hardcore
• 11:04
  rating, that there will be called people asking me.

  Oh, like key baby, switch a discipline because you'll Do
• 11:10
  better with this on the other I'm like, nope, let me show you
• 11:14
  how it's done because I knew holy priest and that's what as
• 11:18
  comfortable as that's where my muscle memory is, that's a big

  part of his eye muscle memory. Right?

  And so I would show them. Hey, look.

  Slower in a raid team where we've got so much mail where's

  off. So it's not just the armor

  distribution. There's a lot of things that

  help shift that around, and I felt that it wasn't that bad.

  And so, I'm on Shaman and for people who's asking, It's

  Beckett, is kind of technically both.

  I would have put them both like sort of geared and I'm still not
• 12:40
  caught up to my warlock. My warlock.

  Like hit 380 last week before raid, and it's going to be a
• 12:48
  little bit more to get my Shaman up there.

  But now that, like, we've done this week of rating.

  I've got some upgrades. I'm doing double damage on my
• 12:56
  shelf. Let's go.

  talked about how there's eleven, eleven week content, update,

  Cadence with Legion that you love is liked and they

  basically, they want to provide content rewards events and Tuck

  updates with less downtime which compared to couple less

  expansions. That's great.

  There's some features. Has not yet decided yet because

  they actually they want feedback.

  They really really do actually want to read a paragraph from

  the article because it not only is it feel very genuine but it

  really sums it up very well. And says in total we are

  planning to deliver six content patches fairly evenly spaced
• 14:22
  over the course of 20 23. This will include two major
• 14:25
  updates, the traditional pillars of our expansions with new zones
• 14:29
  raids, seasonal rewards. But in between those, we we want
• 14:33
  to keep expanding and evolving. Our world with new world events
• 14:36
  updates to systems and Evergreen holidays.
• 14:39
  New dungeon experiences, new narrative character chapters
• 14:43
  cinematics that can serve as epilogues or is prologues to the
• 14:46
  next major step in the adventurer.

  And most importantly of all, I want to emphasize this most
• 14:52
  importantly of all more opportunities for us to respond
• 14:55
  to feedback and change or add elements based on what we're
• 14:59
  hearing is most needed by our players.

  Yeah I really think that is great.

  Like this Echoes what Ian had psychosis had set in some other

  interviews where it's like like we want to do more, we've got

  more that we want to talk about but it'll have to wait until

  was saying where they don't want the perfect.

  But I also think that it's kind of perfect in where it's being

  positioned because if this had been right at the beginning

  launch of dragonfly, gosh, I like you yet.

  It would have been way too much way too much for us to do and

  having this come in now with the, with January, is absolutely

  think. Yes, Legion felt great 11 weeks,

  it was good but the same time I really love that they're trying

  to also give little breathing room as to if they need maybe 12

  weeks instead of 11 or 13 or maybe some things done earlier

  like they're going to do it at their own pace.

  Instead of setting these goals for themselves which potentially

  screwed them, Chris Cruz himself in the future.

  So I like that they're doing these smaller patches and we'll

  dive into them in a minute here. Ear because it gives room for

  all of that. So, sets, a nice Cadence with,

  you know, some great stuff being added, but also making it doable

  so they're not rushing things out before they're ready.

  Yeah, yeah, I agree with that and as we get into this list, I

  think there's sort of a theme of what's coming forward as things

  that aren't just. Oh, this is like the next
• 17:31
  version of Tour gas and this is the next addition to tour gas

  and something that we're never going to see after the expansion

  we're seeing stuff that's going to be truly Evergreen.

  That's going to carry on Way Beyond.

  Dragon fight as long as they continue to support it.

  And they're adding there's some really great great things in

  here. Things that the community have

  And I think we've already seen in dragonflight since Alpha even

  how they're listening to player feedback.

  And I think this roadmap is another sign of that because

  they arguing that transparency and they are adding things in

  here that we've been asking for. And they arguing that breathing

  room to get more feedback and make changes as I need to.

  So it's they're not going to wait for, you know, .5 s and you
• 18:25
  know, Point ones and twos and stuff they're just point a

  And then they outdid themselves right?

  Like to, to be Claire. There's some things that like I

  was like kind of raising my eyebrow being like really like

  the fact that we're getting human and or Carriage armor,

  that's the last ones I expected them to do, right.

  We had those on the war front. So I was expecting because we

  had the rathi warfront that meant that we weren't going to
• 20:17
  be seeing humans and, and Orcs getting their Heritage armor

  because we had the dark Shore. Warfront, we weren't going to be
• 20:25
  seeing Undead and night elves. Get it getting much attention
• 20:28
  hair and so they were going to work on the other stuff.

  Um, yeah. And now they're saying, okay,
• 20:36
  we're going to be doing human and orick and it's like, wait,
• 20:38
  what are you gonna do for those? That wasn't in the war front.

  Especially Orcs who also got like some what I would consider
• 20:48
  pre heritage heritage armor, right in Warlords, right?

  You had the shadow Moon and all of those sort of things.

  I like, I'd like to see what this looks like on one hand, I

  expect it makes sense that they would do human and work
• 21:03
  together. I feel like it's a very natural
• 21:05
  thing. On the other hand, you do raise

  some good points. I was not expecting human in

  order to be next, but I'm glad they're getting it.

  I know there's a lot of humans that are super psyched, like,

  Berserker from on chalky, Ferry was just like, losing over.

  It is episode, but I kind of Wonder, I doubt, this is a

  thing, but just popped into my head.

  Are there going to be a human and or can expect to guests and

  the additional director story stuff?

  I don't know who would be, so I don't think that's a thing, but

  it kind of makes me wonder like what is, what is the connection?

  Why are they doing this now? Just because they're ready and

  it's time. Or is there an actual story

  reason for it? Okay, so I think I would say

  that I hope that the human and orc storylines are not fully
• 22:00
  connected to dragonflight right. I don't really, yeah, I really

  loved the both of the blood elf Heritage Quest because they were
• 22:13
  very fundamental to, to the race rather than something that was
• 22:19
  more like the Turin. Armor which was kind of topical
• 22:24
  the shadowlands if it had little to do with like the torrents
• 22:28
  themselves and we've had a lot of those like I would say that
• 22:31
  the gnome Heritage armor was pretty good.
• 22:35
  Pretty great as something Timeless that could have
• 22:38
  happened at any point through there.
• 22:39
  Yeah, good point. I would want more of that than I
• 22:42
  would want something that is tied up specifically with like
• 22:45
  this particular moment in World of Warcraft history, unless they
• 22:49
  do more stuff about the Dragon. Ah and they're like yeah this is
• 22:55
  think about us. It could be could be because
• 22:59
  that that I think is both topical and also a big part of
• 23:04
  old history of the Orcs of like when they first came in and like
• 23:09
  this is a big part of where they were when they were first
• 23:12
  introduced to Azeroth, that can be something.

  I just I'm hoping it's not thrill of being like all Moody
• 23:18

  Yeah, you mean I wouldn't be against thrall being around but

  same time. Thralls already had a lot of

  Moody moments and I want the kind, have some happiness, dang

  Well, moving on. We have season 2, which is can

  be 10.1 and that's what we're getting at our new raid new PVP

  season new Mythic Keystone dungeon pools.

  As is normal with the new season.

  We're also getting a new Zone, which is really exciting.

  New profession updates, which I'd be interested in because I
• 24:22
  personally I like the professions and I like that.

  They are deep and there's a lot to them and I think it's great

  but Maybe it's because I'm not as focused on professions, but
• 24:33
  they feel like it's been a little bit to learn and to kind
• 24:37
  of wrap my head around and everything.

  So, I'm curious to see what these updates are.

  If it's a quality-of-life kind of update if there is more to
• 24:44
  it. So, that'll be interesting.

  I feel like when they do, like, obviously with the new patch,
• 24:54
  it's a new season. And so, we've got all these
• 24:56
  these big things with their new raid and all of that.

  But like Like with the professional updates with these

  interface improvements, I dislike that they're in the big
• 25:07
  patch, and I kind of wish they were in smaller patches when
• 25:10
  they would help, like, professional updates.

  Being in a big patch, makes me think, oh, this is new recipes
• 25:17
  to be relevant in the new season, which sure, right.

  But the user in improvements, I would want that to be hitting
• 25:26
  much like we've seen a little bit in it.

  Ten point 0.5, where more stuff is be included.

  Hey, we've got this ready. Let's get it right out to you.

  So that the game just constantly improves and like, right you

  come back and it's like hey this is great.

  Yeah I'm kind of wondering if it's in 10.1 because one we

  probably will get new recipes and stuff for new content.

  That makes sense, but I'm wondering if they're giving that

  much time. To collect flirt player feedback

  and see how they can improve and make it either, make more sense

  or make it clear or just like quality of life things because

  more people that have their hands in it and not just like
