Wonderlick: Two Friends, a Lifetime of Music, and the Art of Reinvention
On this episode of Music Matters with Darrell Craig Harris, Darrell welcomes Tim Quirk of Wonderlick whose creative partnership began during their years with the acclaimed alternative-rock band Too Much Joy.
Tim discusses Wonderlick's evolution, their unconventional approach to songwriting and the experiences that shaped their new album, Wonderlick Loves You. Inspired by intimate acoustic house concerts, the album was recorded largely live in one room alongside musicians from Floyd, Virginia, capturing a raw and immediate energy far outside the band's usual comfort zone.
