Ministries given to the New Testament church after Jesus arose
Dr. Joan Boney, Jesus Ministries ... The ministries given by Jesus to the NT church after Jesus arose into heaven are the ministries of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher. (Eph. 4:11) Church groups often call their ministers by other names and it is wrong to do this. In England their pastors are called "vicars". The Catholics call their ministers by the names of pope, archbishop, cardinal, priests (None of these are found in the NT Bible.)
