0:43
Speaker 1: Let me give you a quick rundown before everybody jumps in.
0:45
Speaker 1: So I'm going to get into a really cool conversation about a question that came in through one of my mentees asking me you know about some of my failures in the tech industry, but in general I'm going to get the guys to jump in too to see if they can drop some gems on it.
0:59
Speaker 1: Then we got D Hustle talking about some pricing around some tech stuff.
1:02
Speaker 1: I might have some AI news to drop.
1:06
Speaker 1: We got Raymond don't call him Ray.
1:07
Speaker 1: Ray got a recommendation to bring back.
1:09
Speaker 1: Isn't that what it is, a?
1:11
Speaker 2: recommendation.
1:12
Speaker 1: Deep recommendation.
1:13
Speaker 1: That's a new segment, right?
1:14

1:33
Speaker 1: Everybody's coming in close and it sounds like the knicks are doing all.
1:35
Speaker 1: Right, you don't want to say too much, too much, right?
1:36
Speaker 1: Um, and we'll definitely give a spot out for our um sponsorship.
1:37
Speaker 1: Um, we'll have a closeout with the, with some announcements that I definitely want y'all to follow along.
1:40

1:44
Speaker 1: y'all, y'all ready, y'all ready to go?
1:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure.
1:48
Speaker 1: All right, let's.
1:49
Speaker 1: So let's jump right into our little tech talk here.
1:51
Speaker 1: Let me see if you drop a little bit old school beat for me.
1:53
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm.
1:56
Speaker 1: I'm always think of season two whenever I think about this or hear about this beat.
2:00
Speaker 1: Um, if y'all didn't know, I really do do and love music.
2:03
Speaker 1: Music helps my memories.
2:05
Speaker 1: So big shout outs to season number two.
2:07
Speaker 1: And thank you, d Hustle, for giving me that reminder of such a great season.
2:11
Speaker 1: And we're going to jump into our conversation today, fellas.
2:14
Speaker 1: So you know I got all kinds of mentees all over the place.
2:19
Speaker 1: You know I do support a few nonprofits, universities and colleges, and I tell you, as of late, a lot of my mentees have really been concerned about the industry, concerned about getting a job.
2:31
Speaker 1: But I think there's also this concern about hey, what is it like when you're actually working at the keyboard and you're, you know, been in the field for a while, which?
2:40
Speaker 1: each and every one of us have been in it for a while.
2:41
Speaker 1: So I had a mentee and she was like yo.
2:44
Speaker 1: Whenever you're in an interview, you know you always have these behavioral questions that they have Right, these questions about like, hey, can you tell us about the time that you had challenges with a co-worker, or tell me a time that you broke something and what happened?
2:58
Speaker 1: Right, and she was like yo.
3:00
Speaker 1: Bobby D, I've never heard you talk about anything that you've ever broken.
3:03
Speaker 1: All I've heard about is how you've saved the day.
3:05
Speaker 1: You did this, you did that, but do I have any stories that I would resonate with during an interview to talk about in terms of when have I failed?
3:14
Speaker 1: How did I learn from those failures?
3:15
Speaker 1: And I got two examples.
3:17
Speaker 1: But before I jump into my examples, I wanted to ask you all have you ever, uh, or what is your biggest mistake you've ever made on the job, working in it?
3:28
Speaker 1: um, I know raymond may have one.
3:30
Speaker 1: Uh, that that I can think of.
3:31
Speaker 1: When you came and talked to me about um d hustle, I definitely want to hear, uh, if you had one before, I dropped my two.
3:37
Speaker 1: But anything on the table y'all want to throw on.
3:39
Speaker 1: No, I ain't got nothing.
3:42
Speaker 1: You ain't got nothing.
3:43
Speaker 1: That's crazy.
3:44
Speaker 1: You've definitely had some type of slip up before, never slip up.
3:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, if I could I?
3:53
Speaker 3: I messed up on the ip address one time oh, assigning an ip address?
3:59
Speaker 3: Yeah, I was working back in the days for Atayi Kingdom Corporate.
4:03
Speaker 1: What happened?
4:03
Speaker 3: was is that I used to do warehousing configurations and making sure that everything was aligned the correct way.
4:13
Speaker 3: So, as part of the position that I was in, I was opening up a brand new store for them, and what happened was is that, in order for us to make sure our internet and you know, computers- and printers are working.
4:31
Speaker 3: Of course everybody knows there's an ip address that has to go in there correct correct.
4:35
Speaker 3: So what I did was I don't know if I was in a rush or I had something, because I usually, when I do those, I take my time 110%.
4:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
4:45
Speaker 3: And for me to mess up like that?
4:47
Speaker 3: My mind must not bend.
4:49
Speaker 1: Something else was on it right.
4:53
Speaker 3: So what happened was?
4:54
Speaker 3: You know, some of them starts with zero and then the end.
4:57
Speaker 3: You know some change.
4:59
Speaker 3: Anyway, I put a wrong digit in there.
5:02
Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and boom.
5:03
Speaker 3: The next day I get a phone call from one of my superiors and say, hey, did you build, did you set up stores such, such such?
5:12
Speaker 3: And I was like, yeah.
5:14
Speaker 2: I did.
5:16
Speaker 3: The store hasn't gone live yet, so just thank God.
5:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
5:21
Speaker 3: And I was like, hey, we can't connect to it, can you double check your configurations?
5:24
Speaker 3: I was like, hey, we can't connect to it, can you double check your configurations?
5:25
Speaker 3: I was like what do you mean?
5:26
Speaker 3: Everything is good.
5:26
Speaker 3: Everything is up to par.
5:28
Speaker 3: I mean, like you know what, give me a moment, let me go back and check.
5:30
Speaker 3: And I checked and I'm like what is going on here?
5:33
Speaker 3: And I tried to do a ping and didn't come back.
5:38
Speaker 3: And I was like yo, this is crazy.
5:40
Speaker 3: And I'm checking.
5:41
Speaker 3: I see the first, the first one.
5:44
Speaker 3: I was like okay, everything good.
5:46
Speaker 3: But then I look at the second one they're receiving and the number was off, ah.
5:51
Speaker 3: And I was like oh my god yeah, so when I went there, I I just had to tell them listen, man, that's my fault.
5:57
Speaker 3: I had a digit messed up yeah yeah, you gotta be more careful.
6:01
Speaker 1: I was like oh, I know to be more careful.
6:03
Speaker 3: I was like oh, I know, I know, but the thing is that, since I was doing it in a QA, I was testing everything out.
6:09
Speaker 3: Everything was going well.
6:10
Speaker 1: For sure.
6:12
Speaker 3: And at the end it's just basically inputting an IP address to make sure everything's working good, yeah, yeah.
6:17
Speaker 3: You know, and I must have been, but at the end of the day I had like a week to figure things out.
6:23
Speaker 1: I'm glad somebody caught it, because if not, yeah, yeah, when you set a wrong IP address, you might bring down another store you could bring.
6:29
Speaker 1: Like I remember somebody setting an IP address for, like one of our main servers.
6:34
Speaker 1: Like they set the wrong IP address on another computer that broke our other servers.
6:38
Speaker 1: So totally that's wild, but hey, it happens to us.
6:42
Speaker 1: How about you, raymond?
6:44
Speaker 1: You got one in the trigger.
6:44
Speaker 1: What's up, kid?
6:45
Speaker 2: Yeah, this is.
6:46
Speaker 2: I don't know if you want to call it technical or user error, but I was working at a at a place one time and just emotions got high and I started drafting an email talking smack about a coworker.
6:59
Speaker 2: Oh, so I just started the email, just typing it up to my boss.
7:03
Speaker 2: I can't stand this, coworker.
7:05
Speaker 2: I hate, her she's just getting all of my business, blah, blah, blah.
7:08
Speaker 2: And just pay attention, guys, take note, do not ever do this.
7:12
Speaker 2: But I sent the email to the coworker instead of my boss.
7:17
Speaker 2: Yes, and I freaked out.
7:20
Speaker 2: I went to my boss and was like, hey, I just sent her an email that I was supposed to send to you.
7:24
Speaker 2: I was like, can you jump on the server and, you know, delete it?
7:27
Speaker 2: And long story short, he was like no, we can't, it's going to take too long.
7:31
Speaker 1: Yeah.
7:32
Speaker 2: And this was when I first got into IT.
7:33
Speaker 2: At the time I didn't know that there was a recall feature inside of it For sure, for sure.
7:37
Speaker 2: And he was like you need that.
7:49
Speaker 2: She doesn't read it because if she's read it, then the recall is not going to work exactly.
7:52
Speaker 2: So I went in and I recalled the email and I was still working there.
7:53
Speaker 2: She never said nothing to me, so I assume she never saw that email.
7:55
Speaker 2: So note to self, guys don't let emotions get you.
7:56
Speaker 2: Do not put the person in the email yet.
7:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, just just draft your email and then put the person add the people.
8:03
Speaker 3: Add the people afterwards I'm just hold on, man, I'm just trying to public service announcement so you send an email out.
8:10
Speaker 3: How long did it take you to do this whole entire procedure?
8:13
Speaker 3: What do you mean?
8:14
Speaker 2: well, I realized, recall well, I did the recall, maybe minutes afterwards okay, when I went to my boss.
8:19
Speaker 2: I was just like I didn't know what to do.
8:21
Speaker 3: He was like oh, go and recall the email yeah, so I'm glad she doesn't use her email much For sure, so she was out on the floor or whatever.
8:30
Speaker 2: So yeah, she didn't say nothing, so I assume that she never read it.
8:32
Speaker 3: She got the email.
8:33
Speaker 3: She gave you a side eye though she didn't say anything.
8:36
Speaker 2: So yeah, note to self.
8:38
Speaker 1: Wow, don't ever put yet.
8:46
Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes.
8:46
Speaker 1: So so there are obviously areas where it's not just the technical side but also interpersonal career.
8:49
Speaker 1: You know conversation um things that you need to be mindful of, so so, yeah, and in both of these stories are great examples of like um us learning and the journey right learning.
8:57
Speaker 1: You know, number one whenever we break something, and being okay with breaking something or use finding out a new feature when you do something by accident, uh, like email recall, which doesn't happen in outlook.
9:08
Speaker 1: I mean google, google recently at, not recently, but they have this little undo button that pops up yeah but after that undo button goes, it's a wrap like there's no recall, so you can't recall no outlook.
9:18
Speaker 2: Outlook is a feature for that interesting, yeah, so so if you are on gmail make sure you know who you send an email, even if you set up your gmail through outlook.
9:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even know if you can anymore.
9:28
Speaker 1: I don't know, I mean you could set up like smtp type stuff where it kind of downloads your emails type stuff, but definitely gmail once you send it.
9:35
Speaker 1: If you don't catch that undo at the bottom, it's a wrap, it's a wrap that is okay wow.
9:40
Speaker 1: So, uh, let me throw my two out there.
9:42
Speaker 1: Uh.
9:42
Speaker 1: So there was one incident that happened when, when I talked to students about getting certifications and really just telling them like, hey, sometimes you're going to go to certifications and fail and bomb, but then you're going to learn something in the process.
9:55
Speaker 1: So I have the certification that I talk about on our show all the time.
9:58
Speaker 1: It's called the Red Hat Certified Engineer RHCE, and it's by far one of my most noteworthy certifications I've had.
10:05
Speaker 1: It's actually one of the more difficult ones because you actually have to show your work.
10:08
Speaker 1: It's not like one of those ABC, check this box type stuff.
10:11
Speaker 1: They say, hey, here goes a piece of paper, here goes a computer, set it up.
10:15
Speaker 1: And if you set it up right, you get your certification right.
10:18
Speaker 1: So it's not going to be something that you're going to have to, that you can just like guess.
10:22
Speaker 1: You're going to have to know how to do it.
10:23
Speaker 1: So this certification costs about $750.
10:27
Speaker 1: At the time, that definitely was a hit to my pocket, but I was ready, prepared for it, went to go take the exam.
10:34
Speaker 1: I'm at the table there, you know killing it, doing what I got to do, and there's this instruction that says hey, I need you to create a separate file system or do something on the file system, and one of the actions that you always got to be cautious of is formatting computers right.
10:48
Speaker 1: Y'all know what formatting is basically wiping out the whole hard drive, and if you accidentally type in the wrong command, you can end up wiping out everything.
10:55
Speaker 1: And guess what I did during the exam?
10:57
Speaker 1: I wiped out everything yeah, it was.
11:00
Speaker 1: It was like, literally, give me a womp, womp, womp.
11:04
Speaker 1: And it was like, yeah, literally, like the day of that exam I was sitting there 15 minutes into exam and it's supposed to be a two-hour exam and I wiped the whole system clean and I'm like fuck.
11:19
Speaker 1: And I was like, all right, let me go talk to the instructor.
11:22
Speaker 1: And the instructor was like, sorry, if, if you can't follow instructions, then you're not worthy of being certified.
11:27
Speaker 1: Literally he like threw it back in my face, type stuff.
11:29
Speaker 1: Um, and I'll tell you I did learn something from.
11:31
Speaker 1: It is number one makes you read the details.
11:33
Speaker 1: Number two before you hit the enter button, make sure you read the command that you're executing.
11:38
Speaker 1: And technically, there was another command that popped up that said are you sure you want to do this?
11:43
Speaker 1: And I'm like, of course I want to do this.
11:48
Speaker 1: Why do you think I'm asking you to do this?
11:50
Speaker 1: And boom, wiped it clean.
11:53
Speaker 1: So that was definitely $750 in 15 minutes that I just threw out the window and definitely learned in the process.
12:02
Speaker 1: But I went back and got the certification a few months later.
12:04
Speaker 1: But it's definitely a learning experience.
12:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, Don't make sure you follow instructions.
12:10
Speaker 1: And when it says are you sure you want to format the whole computer?
12:13
Speaker 1: Yeah, make sure you know what you're doing before you do it.
12:15
Speaker 1: Wow.
12:15
Speaker 2: I wish I had one of those when I was sending that email.
12:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, are you sure you want to do that?
12:22
Speaker 1: And then the last one that I usually mention, especially during interviews, is something that occurred when I worked at the South Florida Water Management District.
12:30
Speaker 1: I don't know if y'all heard me talk about this place.
12:32
Speaker 1: Big shout-outs to DP over there.
12:34
Speaker 1: Shout-outs, big shout-outs.
12:36
Speaker 3: Shout-out to Gun Club, all those basketball courts, all you damn hackers.
12:41
Speaker 1: Yeah, the Gun Club, that's the spot right there.
12:43
Speaker 1: But while I was working at the South Florida Water Management District, one of my roles was managing our backup systems.
12:49
Speaker 1: So you can imagine, this is a state, local government that you know generates so much data.
12:54
Speaker 1: Obviously, we have file servers, we have, you know, important documents, so we actually have to have something called like a disaster recovery plan.
13:01
Speaker 1: Right, either we're storing stuff locally at the site or we're storing it somewhere else, or, more specifically, we're writing them to tapes.
13:09
Speaker 1: You remember the tape drives?
13:13
Speaker 1: I remember Raymond and I were talking about tape drives that we used to have to pop in and out to backup servers.
13:15
Speaker 1: So I was the one that was responsible for all of the backups.
13:18
Speaker 1: I mean, we had this big robotic box that had like 1000s of tapes in them that basically positioned themselves, we were backed up and so on and so forth.
13:27
Speaker 1: Um, and while I was working on that computer, um, the main computer, um, I was, you know, misunderstanding which computer I was working on, because I was supposed to be working on a secondary computer and I was working on the main computer.
13:40
Speaker 1: So the names were off by numbers.
13:42
Speaker 1: It was like a net backup server.
13:44
Speaker 1: Number one is the main one and the net backup server number two and net backup server number three were the other two.
13:49
Speaker 1: So I was supposed to be working on that backup server number two, but I was on that backup server number one and guess what command I fucking ran again format the whole thing.
14:00
Speaker 1: So I was on the main net backup server.
14:05
Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, let me get this, let me all right, let me wipe this thing clean and start over again, because we're on the secondary backup server and it didn't matter, right?
14:12
Speaker 1: So I submit the command, send it, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
14:15
Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, our screen that has all of our alerts start to go crazy because no backups were running.
14:20
Speaker 1: We couldn't do any backup restores, anything like that, that.
14:23
Speaker 1: And then I go, run back to my desk and I go through my terminal to look at what server it was.
14:28
Speaker 1: And, yeah, I wiped out the main backup server, that one.
14:33
Speaker 1: Right, there was another slap in the hand because I basically did the same thing.
14:36
Speaker 1: Obviously, there's years of parts from that.
14:37
Speaker 1: So one happened in 2006, and the other one happened in 2012.
14:41
Speaker 1: But if you can imagine the conversations I had with my manager after that, right, but the good thing about NetBackup as a software, it's designed so that you can recover from a failure like that.
14:56
Speaker 1: So it took us a few hours to recover it.
14:57
Speaker 1: But definitely make sure you read these commands, don't just say yes or click yes.
15:03
Speaker 1: Make sure you read the host name, the computer IP addresses, make sure you're aware of the IP addresses.
15:09
Speaker 1: And, for Raymond, just don't be sending emails like that unless you're ready to send it.
15:13
Speaker 1: And for Raymond, just don't be sending emails like that unless you're ready to send it.
15:18
Speaker 1: But hey, in general I'm just still confused.
15:20
Speaker 3: How did you send it to the wrong person?
15:22
Speaker 3: Because?
15:23
Speaker 2: my brain.
15:24
Speaker 2: I was just thinking of the person and put her in the email instead of my boss, because I was just like no human error.
15:31
Speaker 2: I was just.
15:32
Speaker 1: Tunnel vision.
15:32
Speaker 1: That's what it's called Tunnel vision.
15:33
Speaker 2: I just put her in the two instead of my boss.
15:35
Speaker 2: So, I was just like you know, I was just so upset Like, oh, I can't scan her, da-da-da-da.
15:40
Speaker 2: And then boom, I send it to her like my brain instead of sending it to the boss.
15:44
Speaker 2: And then I realize after the fact that's crazy.
15:55
Speaker 2: Raymond's Nug.
15:55
Speaker 2: Be mindful of who you're sending emails to.
15:56
Speaker 2: Don't put anybody in the tube.
15:56
Speaker 3: Until you, yeah are certain, the first name you should have put was your boss, that's true, you are correct.
16:01
Speaker 2: Then go down to.
16:02
Speaker 3: Your boss.
16:05
Speaker 1: He was just pissed Because actually, technically, he was going to send that email.
16:09
Speaker 3: Directly to that person.
16:09
Speaker 3: He was going to send it to her.
16:11
Speaker 3: Cc him Lessons learned.
16:13
Speaker 3: He was going to send it to her.
16:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, cc him Lessons learned.
16:16
Speaker 1: He was trying to start a fire, kid.
16:17
Speaker 1: That's hilarious, Raymond.
16:19
Speaker 1: Well, we all have lessons that we've learned.
16:22
Speaker 2: That's my first IT job too.
16:24
Speaker 1: That was your first IT job, my first IT job, wow.
16:26
Speaker 2: I've learned since then.
16:28
Speaker 3: Have you yeah.
16:33
Speaker 1: Well, thank you all for tuning into our tech segment here.
16:36
Speaker 1: Uh, big shout out to my mentee asking this question what is the biggest mistake you've ever made in your job?
16:42
Speaker 1: And definitely always be mindful that, hey, we do make mistakes.
16:46
Speaker 1: It just depends on your bounce back, because, hey, my bounce back was strong.
16:49
Speaker 1: Afterwards, um, I definitely haven't had that incident happen.
16:52
Speaker 1: For more than 10 years from now, I definitely want to encourage everybody to learn from them.
16:57
Speaker 1: I don't know about Raymond.
16:58
Speaker 1: Raymond had a prayer.
17:01
Speaker 3: He had a prayer going on and God heard him and saved his life.
17:05
Speaker 1: That said yo the.
17:07
Speaker 3: thing is the respond time of getting that undone?
17:10
Speaker 2: Yes.
17:11
Speaker 3: Knowing that that person is on her, supposedly on her desk, but did not see his email.
17:18
Speaker 3: That's great.
17:20
Speaker 2: That's like a yeah, I didn't know about the recall feature.
17:24
Speaker 2: I was new to tech.
17:24
Speaker 2: It was my first tech job and I did not know about the recall feature.
17:28
Speaker 3: But you imagine that you sitting down talking to your boss like yo.
17:31
Speaker 3: I sent the email to this chick.
17:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
17:34
Speaker 3: I messed up.
17:35
Speaker 3: Boom, boom, boom.
17:35
Speaker 3: You can imagine how long the conversation was or whatever it was.
17:39
Speaker 3: So that's, time away.
17:41
Speaker 2: Heck, yeah, you could have been on that.
17:43
Speaker 1: Let me go check my, but this is also before BlackBerrys and iPhones too.
17:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, this was like my first IT job.
17:52
Speaker 2: I was like I don't know 20-something.
17:54
Speaker 1: So literally they would have to be at their desk to read that email.
17:57
Speaker 1: So it's not like our era of time where I send an email and people get it instantly.
18:01
Speaker 1: This is like sitting in her mailbox waiting for her to get back to the desk to read it.
18:05
Speaker 1: So, yeah, happy that it happened in 2003, 2004.
18:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, Raymond's showing his age.
18:15
Speaker 1: All right, right, all right.
18:17
Speaker 1: So we're gonna move on to our next segment.
18:18
Speaker 1: We got my guy d hustle coming up talking about some tech tech stuff.
18:22
Speaker 1: What's up?
18:22
Speaker 1: Player?
18:23
Speaker 3: what's going on.
18:23
Speaker 3: What's going on?
18:24
Speaker 3: Hope everybody had a good weekend I don't got a lot, man, just price deductions.
18:29
Speaker 3: That's all I got.
18:30
Speaker 3: Apple.
18:30
Speaker 3: Uh, again, if you're looking for the Apple Watch 9, it's down to $300.
18:37
Speaker 3: Best Buy is giving a whole bunch of $100 off on a whole bunch of stuff.
18:42
Speaker 3: If you're interested in an Apple Watch 9, you can get it for $300 at Best Buy.
18:49
Speaker 3: Okay.
18:51
Speaker 2: Go ahead.
18:52
Speaker 2: It doesn't have the advanced technology right for the blood oxygen and all that.
18:56
Speaker 3: No, it's not yeah.
18:58
Speaker 1: Raymond's waiting for that one.
18:59
Speaker 1: No, it's not.
19:00
Speaker 3: I think I'm going to have to get something like that overseas and have them ship it over to him.
19:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, that seems like this is going to be the case.
19:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, and also if you're looking for the Apple AirPods 2 Pro, Amazon did drop $69 off the price so you can get it for like $180, if you're looking for.
19:17
Speaker 1: Apple Pro AirPods you have the Pros right, Bobby, I had the Pros.
19:23
Speaker 3: I have it.
19:23
Speaker 3: It's good.
19:24
Speaker 3: It has the most consolation in the whole.
19:26
Speaker 3: Yeah.
19:26
Speaker 1: But you know, one thing about my earlobes is that I create too much wax, wax and those freaking things just slide all the way out Like I.
19:36
Speaker 1: I like the older ones that don't have this rubberized thing, right, right, um, but I will say that that noise canceling and sound, oh my gosh, it's just amazing.
19:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's nice.
19:47
Speaker 2: I didn't think they had noise canceling and AirPods.
19:49
Speaker 2: That's pretty impressive.
19:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty impressive yeah.
19:52
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy Okay $69 off $69 off.
19:56
Speaker 3: And, last but not least, the Apple version Pro 2.
20:00
Speaker 3: Performing late 2026.
20:03
Speaker 3: Apple's trying to reduce the price of it.
20:06
Speaker 1: Well, the price is like $3,000, $3,400, something like that.
20:10
Speaker 3: From what I got here, it's for $1,500 to $2,500.
20:13
Speaker 3: That's what they're trying to bring it down to Try to bring it down to right.
20:16
Speaker 3: Wow.
20:16
Speaker 3: And then Apple is just confused why they want to make the price lower.
20:21
Speaker 1: Yeah.
20:21
Speaker 3: Because I guess if they lower the price, that means they don't want to.
20:24
Speaker 3: Where was the here it goes the largest cost of the 4K micro OLED display from Sony?
20:30
Speaker 3: His estimate Apple Watch was $350 each, which meaning $700 per headset.
20:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
20:43
Speaker 3: So the LCD was significantly reduced cost but will result in inferior contrast and wow and reduced resolution as a much bulkier design.
20:54
Speaker 1: What so are they stepping back?
20:57
Speaker 3: That's what it sounds like I guess they're trying to step back, but they don't want to give the customers bad quality.
21:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
21:03
Speaker 1: What is this for?
21:04
Speaker 3: The Vision Pro.
21:05
Speaker 2: The Vision Pro.
21:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
21:08
Speaker 1: That's wild though, I will say.
21:10
Speaker 1: The other day, me and the wifey were down south.
21:13
Speaker 1: We had Brickle mall, um, and they had an apple store there, um, and I don't know if our apple store here in wellington has it, um, but you could do demos, uh, with the vision pro um.
21:23
Speaker 1: You got to sign up for it.
21:24
Speaker 1: The line was like way too long and I was like you know, we, just we just pulling up by um, but I don't know, it's like the demand might be there, but just people can't buy it, it's just too expensive.
21:34
Speaker 1: You know.
21:34
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean $3,500 is like yeah.
21:37
Speaker 2: When that first came out we were just like it's just out of reach for people.
21:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
21:42
Speaker 1: And definitely check out our newsletter, because Raymond don't call him Ray.
21:45
Speaker 1: Ray wrote a nice little article about them, so for sure the prices are going down.
21:49
Speaker 1: D-hustle says.
21:50
Speaker 3: Yes, it is, yes, it is All right.
21:52
Speaker 3: That's all I got, gentlemen.
21:54
Speaker 2: All right.
21:55
Speaker 3: We're here for what we need, what we get.
21:57
Speaker 2: You guys going to jump on it the prices go down.
22:00
Speaker 1: I don't know.
22:01
Speaker 3: I have to go like I said, If the quality is good.
22:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, I got to go experience it, I think, because I got to be using it every day.
22:11
Speaker 1: It's not something I'm going to put on the shelf and people come by the house and use it as a game type thing or like a party experience, but for that price I got to be using it every day and I don't think it's there yet.
22:24
Speaker 1: But I think it's really cool that you can have a device that gives you like a panoramic view of like computer screens, things that you have going on um.
22:35
Speaker 1: But I don't I just don't think it's there yet as a product for me to go spend thirty five hundred dollars to go do that but I guess I see what they're doing.
22:43
Speaker 3: They're trying to get people to buy it yeah, I guess perfect example, so that every iphone comes out with the basic, then you got the pro, then you got the max true, true, true true you know so.
22:53
Speaker 3: So I think they're trying to make really cheap and for everybody to jump on it to pay the extra for the yeah.
23:00
Speaker 3: They might not pay $3,500 for the brand new one, but they'll wait several years later and then probably buy it.
23:07
Speaker 3: I don't know.
23:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm just thinking.
23:09
Speaker 3: But to lower the quality, that's a big step down for me.
23:12
Speaker 3: But to lower the quality.
23:13
Speaker 1: That's a big step down for me.
23:15
Speaker 3: Yeah, big time, big time, Just to engage.
23:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, so we'll have to see.
23:19
Speaker 1: I mean, I'm definitely up for going to the Apple store to go try to demo it out.
23:24
Speaker 1: We should have a field trip out there, sure, and go check it out.
23:27
Speaker 1: But yeah, raymond.
23:29
Speaker 1: Snuggins is up next what's up player.
23:31
Speaker 2: How's your weekend, man?
23:33
Speaker 2: Not bad.
23:33
Speaker 2: Weekend was good.
23:34
Speaker 2: It was very fulfilling.
23:35
Speaker 2: I did a lot of activities, that's what's up, bro?
23:37
Speaker 1: That's what's up, and thank you for your story.
23:40
Speaker 2: Earlier today I got to go look at all your draft emails.
23:46
Speaker 2: Now, if I talk smack about boxers.
23:49
Speaker 1: Facts.
23:49
Speaker 1: So what's good with your nuggets player?
23:50
Speaker 1: What you got today.
23:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, so I got two nuggets here for you.
23:53
Speaker 2: So I don't know if you gentlemen remember, a few weeks back when we did our podcast, I gave a recommendation for a site called Glassdoor.
24:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, Glassdoor yeah, we all have used Glassdoor before.
24:05
Speaker 2: Right, you know it's really great you can go ahead and read anonymous reviews about a company Like let's just say you're going go do an interview at target and go read anonymous interviews about people who worked at target, whether they're real or fake or whatever.
24:20
Speaker 2: But you know, it was nice that you can go ahead and and also read these reviews and also you could see like mock interviews, like hey, target's gonna, like, you know, uh, give you this type of question, raymond, and stuff like that.
24:33
Speaker 2: But since I've given that nugget a few weeks back, I would like to now not recommend glass door what you're retracting.
24:41
Speaker 2: I'm retracting it.
24:42
Speaker 2: So there have since been reports now that glass door is actually giving people's names out.
24:48
Speaker 2: So people who went and give out anonymous anonym went out anonymously.
24:52
Speaker 2: Companies are calling Glassdoor or whatever.
24:55
Speaker 2: The case in Glassdoor is giving your name out.
24:57
Speaker 1: What so at?
24:58
Speaker 2: this point, I cannot recommend you use Glassdoor.
25:01
Speaker 1: That is wild, can you?
25:02
Speaker 2: imagine, yeah, can you imagine going in there talking smack about a company hey, they did this and that and then they're giving your full name out.
25:10
Speaker 2: That's wild.
25:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's wild.
25:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's wild.
25:16
Speaker 2: So, yeah, yeah.
25:16
Speaker 2: So an alternative we have on our tech hustle site.
25:17
Speaker 2: If you're looking for, you know, mock interviews and stuff like that, check us out, check us out at the tech hustlecom and we have a section for mock interviews.
25:24
Speaker 2: So, yeah, at this point, I do not recommend use glass door.
25:27
Speaker 2: Use it at your own leisure yeah, yeah.
25:29
Speaker 1: So yeah, big, big, big, big plug there.
25:31
Speaker 1: Um, first of all, uh, thank you so much for that nugget um, and I know it's hard to retract things that you said, so I definitely, uh, appreciate you raymond has a way of getting himself into trouble all the time, right and and, if you think about, even like the, the email situation and glass door.
25:51
Speaker 1: That's almost the same like anonymous trying to move and then they show the curtains.
25:56
Speaker 2: Actually there's Raymond Semillion all the companies I talked smack about on Glassdoor.
26:01
Speaker 2: They're releasing my name now.
26:03
Speaker 1: So yeah, that's not cool well, we'll pull our sponsorship back.
26:07
Speaker 1: Glassdoor, we'll send you your money back.
26:09
Speaker 1: But yeah, we're not down for that, especially when you advertise it as an anonymous platform.
26:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not cool.
26:17
Speaker 2: Do the right thing, Glassdoor.
26:18
Speaker 3: Spike Lee did.
26:19
Speaker 3: Come on now.
26:22
Speaker 1: And let's not forget the mention of a plug there because, thetechhustlecom does offer mentorship.
26:29
Speaker 1: We have premium community access.

26:52
Speaker 1: So Let your Boy Check us out.
26:54
Speaker 1: Appreciate that plug Of course.
26:55
Speaker 2: So what else you got on your list player?
26:56
Speaker 2: Another thing here I wanted to ask you guys Are you guys caught up on Shogun?
26:59
Speaker 1: Shogun, yes, I actually just.
27:01
Speaker 3: You haven't.
27:03
Speaker 1: Oh.
27:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen it.
27:04
Speaker 3: I haven't seen the last two episodes.
27:06
Speaker 1: The last two episodes.
27:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, last two episodes.
27:09
Speaker 2: I'm all caught up.
27:10
Speaker 2: I finally finished it yesterday, the final episode.
27:12
Speaker 3: You know what I'm glad we're talking about that show right now.
27:14
Speaker 3: How?
27:14
Speaker 1: do you?
27:15
Speaker 3: feel about that show.
27:17
Speaker 1: I got some mixed feelings.
27:18
Speaker 3: Like.
27:19
Speaker 3: What do you think?
27:21
Speaker 2: I liked it.
27:21
Speaker 2: I'll just kind of you know.
27:24
Speaker 2: As the episodes went further in, it started getting you know.
27:31
Speaker 3: I think that's where I'm getting at man.
27:32
Speaker 3: Usually If I'm interested in something, I'm gonna be on it.
27:35
Speaker 1: And you're gonna close it out and see the end.
27:36
Speaker 3: I don't have to.
27:37
Speaker 3: I didn't run to it.
27:39
Speaker 2: That's how I was, too, yeah.
27:42
Speaker 3: Okay, I missed this episode.
27:43
Speaker 3: I'll go back.
27:44
Speaker 1: I'll get to it when I get to it, but I feel like it started off like that, like it drawed me in.
27:50
Speaker 1: But you are right.
27:51
Speaker 1: The last two episodes I just finished watched them and they've been out for at least a week and a half too right so it wasn't like I was rushing to go see like the ending of game of thrones, right?
28:00
Speaker 3: or, like I want to go see the end of this next series, just in case y'all didn't know isn't it like the prequel or?
28:07
Speaker 1: yeah like the beginning or beginning of the whole game of thrones, um, but I will say I think with that show the hype started off really cool and then it got, in my opinion, a lot into the culture of Japanese culture during that time and actually like it slowed it down for me, because now I'm like learning about their culture and why they do things, why do they, you know, become a samurai or why does somebody kill themselves, type stuff, and there's a right word of saying and I just don't know it off the top of my head, but in general, just that culture itself.
28:42
Speaker 1: I think it just went heavy on that and that kind of slowed me down Because I was like man.
28:49
Speaker 1: And I'm not trying to say where's all the killing and fighting stuff.
28:52
Speaker 3: I'm saying where's all the killing and fighting going on?
28:54
Speaker 3: I'm trying to to say where's all the killing and fighting stuff.
28:54
Speaker 3: I'm saying where all the killing and fighting is going on.
28:55
Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure that out, but it definitely slowed down for me.
28:59
Speaker 3: It's called Shogun If you come back to Shogun.
29:01
Speaker 3: Shogun is like an assassin for me.
29:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
29:04
Speaker 3: I don't know about you guys, but when you say Shogun, it's like Shogun assassin.
29:08
Speaker 3: I'm thinking about old school Chinese slash fighting yeah, martial arts something, and stuff like that I'm like yeah but continue what you were saying about yeah.
29:20
Speaker 2: So I was just, you know, curious if you guys are caught up on it.
29:23
Speaker 2: You know I still like the show.
29:25
Speaker 2: You know I think it was a good show overall.
29:27
Speaker 2: So, yeah, no, I was just, you know, talking to see if you guys I mean for me I'm looking for more fight scenes um swordsmanship.
29:33
Speaker 1: Um I mean, the culture thing is really mean for me.
29:34
Speaker 1: I'm looking for more fight scenes um swordsmanship.
29:34
Speaker 1: Um I mean, the culture thing is really cool for me, just to be mindful of it.
29:39
Speaker 1: But um, I'm looking for the more action drama portion of it.
29:42
Speaker 1: Um, and and how in the world can um that english guy get all the way over there and he still survived all of that?
29:48
Speaker 1: Right the barbarian the barbarian he survived.
29:52
Speaker 1: All of that.
29:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, bro, that's crazy.
29:54
Speaker 2: Still good, though you know, like you said, it's going to win every award when award season comes out.
30:00
Speaker 2: Still good show and I do love the fact that Good actors, good actors, yeah, I love that you know really speaking japanese, yeah you know to read the subtitles that's impressive, I mean yeah I know you could put the dub english on, but I would not recommend that yeah I'm watching it in its true form, reading the subtitles.
30:17
Speaker 1: That is impressive, though I gotta yeah, give it to them.
30:20
Speaker 1: But you know how slow I'll be reading too, so I'll be.
30:22
Speaker 1: I'll be talking about what did they just say?
30:24
Speaker 1: I?
30:24
Speaker 2: hear you, but yeah, no.
30:27
Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm just curious and, and speaking of that, I wanted to give you guys a recommendation on another show.
30:32
Speaker 1: Oh, what you?
30:33
Speaker 2: got.
30:33
Speaker 2: So there's another show on Netflix that's kind of heating up right now.
30:36
Speaker 2: I don't know maybe you guys have watched it already, but it's called Baby Reindeer, baby Reindeer.
30:41
Speaker 2: So the show is kind of heating up on Netflix.
30:44
Speaker 2: I just started watching it.
30:45
Speaker 2: I went out with a friend for coffee last weekend.
30:48
Speaker 2: He recommended it and I started watching it last night.
30:51
Speaker 2: I'm in three episodes in Not bad.
30:53
Speaker 3: How do you feel about it?
30:54
Speaker 2: Good, Pretty good so far.
30:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's based on a true story.
30:56
Speaker 2: I don't want to give it away, but this guy has a stalker, has a woman that just is becoming obsessed with him and starts stalking him.
31:04
Speaker 2: This is apparently a true story.
31:05
Speaker 2: Check it out.
31:07
Speaker 3: I'm on three episodes in right now.
31:09
Speaker 2: They're short, they're like 25 minutes.
31:11
Speaker 3: I'm in there like swimwear.
31:13
Speaker 2: Check it out.
31:14
Speaker 2: It's pretty good so far.
31:15
Speaker 3: This thing is heating up.
31:16
Speaker 2: Everybody I talk to is talking about this show.
31:19
Speaker 2: I'm like you know what?
31:19
Speaker 2: Let me check it out.
31:20
Speaker 2: Baby Reindeer, that's your recommendation for this week gentlemen, check it out.
31:26
Speaker 1: That was good.
31:27
Speaker 1: Raymond got a nice little nugget to drop in there and, yeah, baby Reindeer.
31:30
Speaker 1: I don't know where they came up with the title for that, but that's definitely very interesting naming and he said it's.
31:38
Speaker 1: It's a comedy.
31:40
Speaker 2: No, it's a drama, it's a serious, it's based on a true story.
31:43
Speaker 1: Oh, it's a struggling comedian show.
31:46
Speaker 1: Yes, this guy's a struggling comedian.
31:48
Speaker 2: And then this woman becomes obsessed with him and she starts stalking him, ah, his first fan, yeah, so no, I love the fact that you know it's based on a true story so that, like you, know, yeah, yeah, it usually helps, draw, draw, draw it home more or less the experience I just saw a news article too, where yesterday, literally because this thing is blowing up the woman who supposedly in real life is suing netflix because she's saying that she's getting all this hate email- outward stuff like this, based on a disc.
32:17
Speaker 2: I literally just started reading it yesterday.
32:19
Speaker 1: So wow people.
32:20
Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, so it definitely is, uh, uh, when, when they start to do real stories and they, and then you always turn on netflix and be yo.
32:30
Speaker 2: that sounds like my story and you know the internet's going to find you.
32:34
Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
32:35
Speaker 1: Internet's definitely going to find you.
32:37
Speaker 2: The internet found her and she's doing Netflix now.
32:39
Speaker 1: I mean Netflix should write her a check regardless.
32:41
Speaker 1: In my opinion, you don't think so.
32:44
Speaker 2: No, I mean, you can't do that for every true story.
32:47
Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
32:48
Speaker 1: If so, if they do a true story on raymond, you don't think you want to get a check?
32:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, I hear you I mean yeah, okay, I mean I want to check, even if they're gonna, you know, slander me, drag me in the mud, tell me I'm the worst person in the world that you better write me a check.
33:04
Speaker 2: That's all I'm saying or I'm gonna be shouting and screaming and lawsuit type stuff I mean you think you think OJ Simpson got a check from all the documentaries and TV shows they did about him and stuff.
33:14
Speaker 1: Did we give him a big shout out?
33:16
Speaker 1: Oj Simpson, rp OJ.
33:17
Speaker 1: Did we mention him in the show?
33:19
Speaker 2: We did not.
33:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, give him a quick moment of silence for OJ.
33:22
Speaker 1: Rest in peace, rp OJ.
33:25
Speaker 1: But, yeah and seriously if OJ is featured in any documentary, he should be getting a check.
33:33
Speaker 1: I don't care If you mention his name, just like they do for music, just like they do for most art, why not?
33:40
Speaker 1: That's my story.
33:41
Speaker 1: You're basically biting off of it.
33:43
Speaker 1: You got to send me something in the mail.
33:45
Speaker 1: In my opinion, yeah, right here, but yeah, big shout-outs to OJ.
33:49
Speaker 1: My man was one one one, one of one, yes he was not guilty.
33:59
Speaker 1: That was like one of the best scenes in my life, kid I remember that.
34:02
Speaker 3: Do you remember that trial?
34:04
Speaker 1: oh my gosh you must have quit yeah that you know that was whoever wrote that bar.
34:08
Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, like you, you definitely in the books because they they showcase that.
34:14
Speaker 1: And I was watching the video and he was like playing it out and stuff like that.
34:17
Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, it don't fit.
34:18
Speaker 1: It don't fit.
34:19
Speaker 1: Like that was that was interesting.
34:21
Speaker 2: So, yeah, that sparked a lot of uh yeah actually I was also watching this.
34:26
Speaker 1: There might be another documentary coming out about it that there was this person that was close to the family I believe he was the gardener or he was like their landscape person that afterwards was convicted for killing other people, but the law enforcement's never interviewed him for this case, for that case.
34:45
Speaker 1: So there might be news coming out, I don't know, and the documentary or something like that that showcases like hey, he definitely wasn't the one, but I wouldn't be surprised either out, I don't know, in a documentary or something like that that showcases like hey, he definitely wasn't the one.
34:52
Speaker 1: But I wouldn't be surprised either.
34:53
Speaker 1: Rip Juice OJ Simpson.

36:17

36:19
Speaker 3: I guess he said that they robbed him for that they didn't stop the fight.
36:24

36:25
Speaker 2: Who said they robbed him?
36:26
Speaker 3: Ryan Garcia said that they robbed him.
36:27
Speaker 3: They should have stopped the fight.

Speaker 1: Wow, you threw the whole coach under the bus.
46:15
Speaker 2: Wow, did you just run him over with the whole bus.

46:33
Speaker 1: Raymond said take the bus and put it in reverse.

46:43
Speaker 1: Raymond said he needs to manage the whole season before he gives him any credit.

Speaker 1: I can tell you that right now he ain't looking healthy to me, though he's never been healthy for me.
47:22
Speaker 3: He's been in the bench even on fantasy.
47:24
Speaker 1: Let's be realistic here.
47:25
Speaker 1: But you can't knock that.
47:27
Speaker 3: He can drop some threes, though, for a big guy like that, he can definitely score it up.
47:31
Speaker 3: Wamba can shoot threes too, yeah, jokic can shoot threes.
47:33
Speaker 3: I mean, it's a different game out there now.
47:36

47:40
Speaker 3: Eastern Conference Wow, New Thunder Shout out to Thunder.
47:46
Speaker 3: 4-0 SWAT New Pelicans.
47:48
Speaker 3: I knew that was going to happen.
47:51
Speaker 3: I wish it was the Lakers there, but it's not Wow.
47:54
Speaker 2: Lakers are in Cancun.
47:56
Speaker 3: Yes, they are All right and the biggest upset, I'm telling you right now.
48:05
Speaker 3: I did not expect Minnesota to sweep Phoenix.
48:08
Speaker 2: Shout out to that organization over there.
48:10
Speaker 2: A-rod shout-out.
48:11
Speaker 2: I'm going to get your opinion on that.
48:13
Speaker 2: He's the new sheriff in town.
48:14
Speaker 3: And the name Reggie Hammond baby.
48:15
Speaker 3: That's what I know it is.
48:18
Speaker 2: I like him, I always like him Best great player.
48:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, is he the new face you think?
48:25
Speaker 3: I think he's me.
48:26
Speaker 3: Personally, I think he's better than John.
48:28
Speaker 3: I'm going to say that right now.
48:31
Speaker 2: John Moran.
48:31
Speaker 3: John Moran, I think my man is all around.
48:34
Speaker 3: I think he's got good defense, got good scoring.
48:38
Speaker 3: But John's a phenomenal player too.
48:39
Speaker 3: He's very flexible, his dunk is there.
48:42
Speaker 3: He shoots pretty weird, but at the end of the day my man got skills, kid.
48:46
Speaker 3: Yeah, I got to give it to Ant-Man.
48:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, my man got skills kid.
48:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, I got to give it to Ant-Man, yeah.
48:52
Speaker 2: I got to and then to beat one of his idols.
48:53
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up.
48:55
Speaker 3: That's crazy.
48:57
Speaker 2: I'm glad you brought that up.
48:58
Speaker 2: Like you know what LeBron gets a lot of hate.
49:00
Speaker 2: You know it gets compared to Michael Jordan and stuff like that, but KD doesn't get the hate that LeBron gets.
49:07
Speaker 2: Get the hate that LeBron gets.
49:08
Speaker 2: How many super teams has this guy been on and he's only won how many chips?
49:12
Speaker 2: He hasn't won anything since he left Golden State.
49:15
Speaker 2: That's correct.
49:16
Speaker 2: This guy is like I mean he doesn't get any hate like LeBron gets.
49:19
Speaker 2: I get it, lebron has been crowned the next one.
49:21
Speaker 2: But come on, I mean this guy's got to get some heat too.
49:24
Speaker 2: Man.
49:25
Speaker 3: There was a debate there who was best between LeBron and KD.
49:27
Speaker 3: It was a long time ago.
49:29
Speaker 2: That debate's been out of the window.
49:30
Speaker 2: Come on.
49:30
Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but KD how many.
49:33
Speaker 2: He played with Kyrie, he played with the beard, then he played with Bill and then he played with the other guy that's on this team, I mean.
49:39
Speaker 2: Come on.
49:40
Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you're expecting more.
49:41
Speaker 2: You mean, yes, he's played with more super teams than anybody.
49:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, it didn't happen the way he wanted it to happen, so that's why I think for me he's switching teams here and there.
49:53
Speaker 2: Okay, how does he get a pass, though?
49:56
Speaker 3: How do you not stay in Golden State when you guys are doing phenomenal?
49:59
Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to say.
50:00
Speaker 1: I would have been riding Golden State until they kicked me out.
50:04
Speaker 3: I mean I'm glad you got the chip.
50:05
Speaker 3: Maybe he's trying to do his own destiny.
50:07
Speaker 3: I don't know.
50:07
Speaker 3: I can't answer.
50:08
Speaker 1: I mean, technically, he got what he wanted and he did get a chip.
50:10
Speaker 1: So, and that's what if?
50:12
Speaker 1: For me, if I'm in the league, that's all I'm looking for, and then after that it's all play for me.
50:17
Speaker 3: Yeah, right, as soon as I get one maybe he was trying to do his big three.
50:20
Speaker 3: I have no idea what he was trying to do, but yeah I mean you have a lot of, you have a lot of, you're correct.
50:26
Speaker 3: I mean he's, he doesn't get the hate, but Again, I don't see him doing it.
50:30
Speaker 1: It all goes to LeBron.
50:31
Speaker 1: It all goes to LeBron.
50:32
Speaker 1: It's crazy.
50:33
Speaker 1: It's just my two cents.
50:34
Speaker 3: I mean this is what everybody does.
50:36
Speaker 3: I mean, everybody wanted LeBron.
50:37
Speaker 3: You got LeBron.
50:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, you did.
50:39
Speaker 1: You got him this year too.
50:44
Speaker 3: Dallas Mavericks and Clippers Tied two.
50:47
Speaker 3: A Good game over there, man.
50:49
Speaker 3: Hey, Kyrie, man doing his thing, hey, shout out to Kyrie.
50:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure.
50:53
Speaker 3: Luca doing his thing.
50:54
Speaker 3: Kawhi, you need to get better, bro.
50:56
Speaker 3: Come on, man, he's on his way.
50:58
Speaker 3: You're killing me here, man, I really like you, but if you're hearing this podcast, man, you got to stay healthy.
51:05
Speaker 3: Man, I don't know what you're doing over there.
51:12
Speaker 3: And then the thing you're getting my guy the beard all messed up over there man, you got Paul George, phenomenal player.
51:15
Speaker 1: He's still doing it though.
51:17
Speaker 3: Harden Kawhi, Big Hank.
51:19
Speaker 3: Come on man, this guy, something's going to happen.
51:21
Speaker 3: Call my organization, Call me.
51:22
Speaker 3: We're going to make something happen over there.
51:24
Speaker 3: We can figure some shit out.
51:25
Speaker 1: Dang, you can do baseball and basketball.
51:27
Speaker 1: I do it all, man, I do it all.
51:29
Speaker 1: He said I'm the general manager of it all.
51:32
Speaker 3: And last but not least, you know, I got to get down to this here.
51:34
Speaker 3: Just, denver took out Lakers 4-1.
51:38
Speaker 3: Uh, they did one, you guys did one, I'll give you that.
51:43
Speaker 2: I didn't even watch it last night.
51:44
Speaker 2: I just woke up and saw the stupid text messages and stuff like that.
51:48
Speaker 3: All I have is one name for you, and that is Jamal.
51:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard it was nasty last night.
51:54
Speaker 3: Jamal Murray just doing his thing.
51:55
Speaker 3: Yeah, they're the best.
51:57
Speaker 1: I mean, it came close.
51:58
Speaker 1: It looked like it was 106 to 102.
52:00
Speaker 1: 106, yeah, 106, 108.
52:01
Speaker 3: Last few possessions, but yeah, yeah, again, guess who did that?
52:06
Speaker 3: Again Jamal.
52:07
Speaker 1: Yeah.
52:08
Speaker 2: Jamal on his thing.
52:11
Speaker 3: I don't know where the fuck was LeBron.
52:13
Speaker 3: I don't know what AD was doing.
52:16
Speaker 2: AD was hurt.
52:16
Speaker 2: As usual, you breathe on him and he got hurt.
52:19
Speaker 1: I hear, you, I hear you.
52:20
Speaker 1: Remember you're a Lakers fan.
52:22
Speaker 1: Remember that You're a Lakers fan.
52:23
Speaker 3: I'm assuming you're upset because they benched Russell and Austin Reeves Wow.
52:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, the locker, the coach sucks, so they're going to fire him.
52:34
Speaker 3: Here he goes again.
52:35
Speaker 3: So now we should fire.
52:36
Speaker 3: Why we should fire Mr Harvin?
52:38
Speaker 2: Mr Harvin, he sucks, or Hammond, whatever the hell his name is.
52:40
Speaker 3: Why do whatever the hell his name is, he sucks.
52:42
Speaker 3: Or is it LeBron telling you to?
52:43
Speaker 1: let him go.
52:44
Speaker 1: Oh, here we go.
52:47
Speaker 3: He has a past history of every team he goals firing a coach.
52:49
Speaker 3: That's true.
52:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but the Lakers organization is always going to appeal to the star player.
52:54
Speaker 2: Remember when Kobe his final years, he sucked and they still gave him that big contract.
52:59
Speaker 2: You know, you know.
53:00
Speaker 3: They're always going to Take care of the player.
53:01
Speaker 2: You know they want the loyalty.
53:02
Speaker 2: They're going to take care Of LeBron, just like they're going to Draft his son To keep him happy.
53:06
Speaker 1: So you think Lakers Are going to draft his?
53:07
Speaker 3: son.
53:08
Speaker 2: They said they're open to it.
53:09
Speaker 2: Wow, yeah, I mean, you know, because LeBron's like I don't know if I'm coming back.
53:14
Speaker 3: I'm glad you said that.
53:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, the.
53:19
Speaker 3: Lakers open of drafting Bron, the LA will consider helping LeBron fulfill his dream.
53:24
Speaker 3: You need to fulfill with a different player.
53:27
Speaker 3: That's what you guys need to do, bro.
53:30
Speaker 3: I'm getting sick and tired of people losing their jobs because of a one player.
53:34
Speaker 2: Come on man.
53:35
Speaker 2: It's always been like this in the league, though Come on why, I think it's crazier now.
53:40
Speaker 3: It is crazier now, but so you think, by getting his son, you guys gonna win a fucking championship.
53:45
Speaker 2: They're not, but they're gonna sell tickets because it's LeBron, you're correct.
53:48
Speaker 3: Let me give a.
53:50
Speaker 2: That's a Reina's nugget.
53:51
Speaker 2: Right there Sell tickets.
53:52
Speaker 2: That's what it matters.
53:53
Speaker 3: That is correct.
53:54
Speaker 3: But come on, man, you have good coaches, you know what?
53:57
Speaker 3: Why don't LeBron become a fucking coach?
53:58
Speaker 3: True, yeah, and let's see how he does.
54:01
Speaker 3: Let's see if he wins this trip.
54:02
Speaker 3: Nah, I'm trying to figure this guy out, bro.
54:04
Speaker 3: I can't hate on the guy he's making.
54:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I mean Fuck, he's not Pleased.
54:11
Speaker 2: He's never pleased, I agree with you.
54:13
Speaker 2: Remember when he was with the Heat, they tried to get Spolster fired and they told LeBron to kick rocks.
54:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the only way.
54:19
Speaker 3: I think that's why he left.
54:20
Speaker 2: That's the only one he couldn't get fired was the Heat coach.
54:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but yeah Well, they had a GM over there.
54:26
Speaker 1: What was his name?
54:26
Speaker 1: Pat Riley.
54:27
Speaker 1: Pat Riley was running the show, kind of shit right.
54:29
Speaker 3: But here's the thing Postra has been always taking the heat to the playoffs.
54:34
Speaker 3: He's a good coach yeah, he's a good coach, so imagine he got fired because they listened to fucking Le LeBron.
54:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I agree with you.
54:43
Speaker 1: You know what?
54:43
Speaker 1: I, low-key, can't actually wait until he gets out of the league, so then we can really hear some stories, because I think that there's still a lot of interpersonal type stuff that LeBron does that we don't hear about because he's still in organizations, type stuff, because that sounds crazy that a player can influence that.
55:01
Speaker 2: The thing is only the NBA.
55:02
Speaker 2: The players have the control.
55:03
Speaker 2: All the other leagues it's the opposite, in the NBA, it's the players, it's a player's league At the end of the day.
55:09
Speaker 3: this is how I feel.
55:10
Speaker 3: Lebron, if you're watching this podcast, this is what I'm saying.
55:11
Speaker 1: No, no, he is tuned in.
55:12
Speaker 1: Talk to him directly, you're tuned in.

Speaker 3: Let me help you out.
55:19
Speaker 3: Listen, keep going out there.
55:20
Speaker 3: Your body will tell you when to stop.
55:22
Speaker 3: Don't fucking stay because you want to play with your son.
55:25
Speaker 3: Whatever, if you still love the game, play the game and until you say it's done, it's done.
55:32
Speaker 3: That's it, man bro, stop playing around.
55:34
Speaker 3: You want to go after records?
55:35
