- 0:21Speaker 1: You are listening to Eagles postgan analysis here at the
- 0:24Speaker 1: Philadelphia Sports Table podcast show, the longest running weekly Philly
- 0:27Speaker 1: sports podcast show in the world, over eleven and a
- 0:29Speaker 1: half years strong. And Week ten of this Philadelphia Eagles
- 0:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty four twenty twenty five season. Now in the books,
- 0:37Speaker 1: they beat the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas. It feels like
- 0:40Speaker 1: forever that this has happened. Oh, they beat them by
- 0:43Speaker 1: a score of thirty four to six. Week ten again,
- 0:48Speaker 1: now in the books, the Eagles are seven and two
- 0:51Speaker 1: on the season and looking pretty good in the NFC
- 0:55Speaker 1: NFC East as well. They're gonna be facing the Commanders
- 0:58Speaker 1: this coming Thursday. I am Warren and I'm here at
- 1:01Speaker 1: my good buddy Len Hunsicker. Len, good to have you
- 1:03Speaker 1: on the postgame show. Boy man, this was a routing
- 1:07Speaker 1: by the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 1:08Speaker 2: My man, yeah, well, I mean tail two halves because
- 1:12Speaker 2: I felt vastly different at halftime than I felt by
- 1:17Speaker 2: the end of this game, much better now than I
- 1:21Speaker 2: did at halftime when I was unleashing some some swear
- 1:25Speaker 2: words like this this team while the television, So yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I would It's interesting. I put up I put up
- 1:32Speaker 1: a tweet or in a post on threads earlier today,
- 1:35Speaker 1: and I was like, man, sometimes us Eagles fans, we
- 1:38Speaker 1: complain about this Eagles team in games, sometimes so bad,
- 1:42Speaker 1: and then we got to look at teams like the
- 1:43Speaker 1: New York Giants, you know, we're just terrible.
- 1:47Speaker 2: The Dallas Cowboys are on They was saying that too,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and yeah, you know about I don't know if it
- 1:53Speaker 2: was about our found fan base or just me maybe
- 1:56Speaker 2: national perception of the Eagles in general, but even the
- 1:59Speaker 2: commentary was like, people talk about this team like they're
- 2:03Speaker 2: four and four or something, they're six and two coming
- 2:05Speaker 2: into this game, like they're they're you know, they're a
- 2:08Speaker 2: good team, and we definitely do that. We definitely, I
- 2:11Speaker 2: think as a fan base, are guilty of like every play,
- 2:15Speaker 2: oh they suck if you know, if it doesn't get it.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And I know I certainly was guilty of it during
- 2:20Speaker 2: this game in the first half.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Well, there was some first half nonsense that did happen,
- 2:24Speaker 1: which we will get into, but I wanted to start
- 2:27Speaker 1: off this postgame show len just coming down on the
- 2:30Speaker 1: Cowboys because they deserve it. Screw them. I hate them,
- 2:34Speaker 1: we all hate them in the Eagles Nation and I
- 2:36Speaker 1: just want to throw out this stat that I had
- 2:38Speaker 1: read online. For the first time in NFL history, a
- 2:42Speaker 1: team has trailed by twenty points or more in five
- 2:46Speaker 1: straight home games, including the playoffs, and that happened today
- 2:51Speaker 1: when the Eagles were up twenty eight to six on
- 2:53Speaker 1: the Cowboys. The Cowboys this past week had been tied
- 2:56Speaker 1: for the longest streak. That longest home home streak they're
- 3:00Speaker 1: losing by twenty or more points with the twenty thirteen
- 3:02Speaker 1: twenty fourteen Raiders team when it was four in a row.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So this was one of those games len for the
- 3:09Speaker 1: Eagles where they pulled their starters with twelve minutes left
- 3:14Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter. They absolutely killed the Cowboys. I
- 3:17Speaker 1: love that stat too, because you know, Cowboys Nation is
- 3:20Speaker 1: absolutely reeling at this point.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Couldn't happen to a better franchise.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Yes it could, It couldn't. Well, we've got Jalen Hurt scored.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Jalen Hurt Hurt. Why don't I put the s on there?
- 3:32Speaker 2: Is he related to William Hurt or what's happening here?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yes, his fiftieth rushing touchdown of his career happened in
- 3:40Speaker 1: this game. You know, the ups and downs of Jalen Hurts,
- 3:44Speaker 1: which we're going to get into. In fact, I guess
- 3:46Speaker 1: that's one of my themes right off the bat here, Lynn,
- 3:49Speaker 1: And it is consistently, week after week we talk about
- 3:51Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts. He's had some real fantastic games, he's had
- 3:54Speaker 1: some real dumpers of games too. But there's something here
- 3:59Speaker 1: that I want to call the Jalen Hurts conundrum. How
- 4:02Speaker 1: he's been handling pressure, and it's this back and forth
- 4:05Speaker 1: kind of story here. Take, for instance, in this game,
- 4:08Speaker 1: in the first half, Jalen Hurts was pressured on thirteen
- 4:12Speaker 1: of twenty one first half dropbacks. That's sixty two percent.
- 4:17Speaker 1: That's the highest pressure rate that he has faced in
- 4:20Speaker 1: a half in his entire career. Now, during those during
- 4:25Speaker 1: those dropbacks, he completed five or six passes for one
- 4:28Speaker 1: hundred and one yards a touchdown. Not bad not bad
- 4:32Speaker 1: rate there. However, the conundrum here is that on those
- 4:35Speaker 1: plays also we saw five sacks, we saw that horrendous fumble.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And then I think, as we're still trying to assess
- 4:43Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts here after all these years that he has
- 4:46Speaker 1: been playing quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, there are interesting
- 4:49Speaker 1: aspects of his game that we can still dissect to
- 4:52Speaker 1: say he's a fantastic player and he's still continuing to grow,
- 4:56Speaker 1: but he's also a player who desperately needs to work
- 4:59Speaker 1: on certain parts of his game, and I'm not sure
- 5:01Speaker 1: some of those parts of his game are gonna get
- 5:04Speaker 1: figured out. You know, we've talked about on this show
- 5:06Speaker 1: a lot how Jalen Hurts his Jalen Hurts, But then
- 5:09Speaker 1: again we see when he is under pressure. He's been
- 5:11Speaker 1: doing better things, much better things this season, and then
- 5:15Speaker 1: he'll have some hiccups here and there too. So you know, good, look,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you have a Jalen Hurts is able to take control
- 5:21Speaker 1: of the game like he did on the drive towards
- 5:23Speaker 1: the end of the third quarter. You were talking about
- 5:24Speaker 1: the tail two halves here, you know, where there was
- 5:27Speaker 1: a design rush that went for a touchdown. What a
- 5:29Speaker 1: beautifully drawn up play, and that touchdown was Jalen Hurts'
- 5:33Speaker 1: tenth rushing touchdown of the season. So what we're seeing
- 5:37Speaker 1: here with this Jalen Hurts conundrum, it's been really interesting
- 5:41Speaker 1: to look at and dissect to see where his game
- 5:44Speaker 1: is at right here in twenty twenty four. So that's
- 5:48Speaker 1: a theme that I have. I don't know if you
- 5:49Speaker 1: have any response for that at all.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Well, I want to get your thoughts on something, and
- 5:54Speaker 2: you know, maybe you can make the case for that
- 5:56Speaker 2: conundrum over hurts throughout the course of the season. That
- 6:00Speaker 2: would certainly paint a bigger picture. But I'm just talking
- 6:02Speaker 2: about this game. There were and I noticed this is
- 6:07Speaker 2: maybe this plays into detail two halves that we're talking
- 6:10Speaker 2: about here, but that stadium when it's like the middle
- 6:16Speaker 2: of the day and you're staring at the one at
- 6:20Speaker 2: the end zones, yes, it's just like glass and it's
- 6:24Speaker 2: just it's like you're in a coma and God's telling
- 6:26Speaker 2: you to walk towards the light. It's that bright. Yes, yes,
- 6:30Speaker 2: And I don't think it was just the Eagles. Like
- 6:31Speaker 2: there was that one pass that was thrown to Ceedee
- 6:34Speaker 2: Lamb in the end zone and he didn't like really
- 6:37Speaker 2: it looked like he couldn't see it.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And gave he gave a hand motion over his his
- 6:42Speaker 1: advisory was wearing like I couldn't see it.
- 6:45Speaker 2: And I don't know if that's both sides of the
- 6:46Speaker 2: stadium where it does that, but I think it might be.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I think at that time of day might because at
- 6:53Speaker 2: first I'm like basically yelling at the TV, like, God,
- 6:56Speaker 2: this guy, so what's he doing? And then like in
- 6:58Speaker 2: the second half, I was like, well, the shadows aren't
- 7:02Speaker 2: there and the light isn't there. Maybe maybe these guys
- 7:05Speaker 2: just can't see. And my question is that if that's
- 7:08Speaker 2: the case, how does the NFL, which micro manages every
- 7:14Speaker 2: aspect of its league, how do they let a stadium
- 7:18Speaker 2: get built where the blinding light of God is looking
- 7:22Speaker 2: at you square in the eye and you can't see. Like,
- 7:26Speaker 2: how did they not go to Jerry H. Jones and say, hey,
- 7:29Speaker 2: you need to find a way to close that up
- 7:31Speaker 2: during a game that's being played, you know, at that
- 7:34Speaker 2: time of day, like.
- 7:35Speaker 1: When people have they have they've actually gone to the
- 7:38Speaker 1: Cowboys and said, listen, during games, we know the sun
- 7:42Speaker 1: is going to be there. You have to have some
- 7:43Speaker 1: sort of shade, some sort of some sort.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Of silver down.
- 7:47Speaker 1: They refuse to do it. Why, Well, it's not it's
- 7:50Speaker 1: not the NFL, it's it's Jerry Jones and the ownership
- 7:53Speaker 1: of the Dallas Cowboys. It's their stadium.
- 7:56Speaker 2: But it hurts their own team time.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Isn't it.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Would? I know?
- 8:03Speaker 1: It's so bizarre. Our buddy Dave actually sent a text
- 8:06Speaker 1: out on another thread that I'm on with him with
- 8:09Speaker 1: some with some of the crew we hang out with
- 8:12Speaker 1: up here every now and then, and Dave was like,
- 8:13Speaker 1: it's funny because you never see that other than maybe
- 8:16Speaker 1: in baseball, and it's rare with all these new ball field.
- 8:19Speaker 2: It looks like late afternoon when the shadows from the
- 8:22Speaker 2: light light stanchions are creeping in over home plate and
- 8:26Speaker 2: it's sunny on the mound and they're in the shade
- 8:27Speaker 2: and home plate and you're at the plate and you
- 8:30Speaker 2: can't see, you know, one hundred you know, or a
- 8:33Speaker 2: ninety mile an hour pitch coming towards you. You you
- 8:37Speaker 2: you just cannot see. And honestly, I think I don't understand,
- 8:42Speaker 2: like even they don't even use it because I think,
- 8:44Speaker 2: like I said, it was both sides of the field,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and if that's a case, like I could see if
- 8:48Speaker 2: they're using it as a home field advantage where one
- 8:50Speaker 2: side of the field is like that, right, and we're
- 8:52Speaker 2: going to make sure that at that time of day
- 8:54Speaker 2: we're always going we we have that at our backs.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I could see if you're using that as an advance,
- 9:00Speaker 2: but I don't think that's what it is.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I don't think it is either, because it had about.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I don't know what he's doing then, Jerry Jones, I
- 9:10Speaker 2: don't know why you would do that. I don't understand,
- 9:14Speaker 2: And I'm sure that there's a lot of people that
- 9:16Speaker 2: are Cowboys fans, that have been longtime fans of the
- 9:19Speaker 2: organization that could probably say to me, yeah, there's a
- 9:22Speaker 2: lot of things I don't understand about what Jerry Jones
- 9:24Speaker 2: is thinking. I'm I'm sure they would line up and
- 9:26Speaker 2: tell you that at this point, especially with the way
- 9:29Speaker 2: you know that this season has gone for them. Absolutely,
- 9:32Speaker 2: I just that man that blows my mind. And the
- 9:36Speaker 2: fact that the NFL and I look, you know, I
- 9:38Speaker 2: know he's he's very powerful, and he's the owner of,
- 9:42Speaker 2: you know, the biggest brand in the NFL and all
- 9:44Speaker 2: that stuff, which the Cowboys probably are still the biggest
- 9:47Speaker 2: brand in the NFL. So maybe he can tell them
- 9:51Speaker 2: to go screw. I don't know, but I would just
- 9:53Speaker 2: think that the NFL would say, hey, this is happening. Yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It amazes me that Jerry Jones and the Cowboys front office.
- 10:04Speaker 1: You know that they have all the money in the
- 10:06Speaker 1: world to create Jerry land down there yet yet this
- 10:12Speaker 1: billion dollar sports complex, it's it's majestic creation that it is,
- 10:17Speaker 1: has this flaw in it, this tendency to blind players,
- 10:22Speaker 1: even on his own team. But I think it goes
- 10:26Speaker 1: to show how incompetent the Dallas Cowboys have been, even
- 10:30Speaker 1: though they've been like a quote relevant team for quite
- 10:32Speaker 1: some time. Len, I think the organization itself is just
- 10:36Speaker 1: very incompetent in a lot of different ways. Take for instance,
- 10:40Speaker 1: on the field today, and this is just like a
- 10:42Speaker 1: tiny little thing, a little microcosm. You have the Cowboys
- 10:47Speaker 1: benching Cooper Rush in this game, bringing Trey Lance in,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and we're like, all right, well, let's see what Trey
- 10:52Speaker 1: Lance is gonna do. Maybe it'll start eating up the
- 10:54Speaker 1: Eagles defense, and you know, because they're not prepared for him.
- 10:58Speaker 1: And then Trey Lance is only in for two who
- 11:00Speaker 1: plays Cooper Rush then comes back for like another series
- 11:03Speaker 1: or two, and then he's benched again for Trey Lance.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Like it's just this bizarre confluence of failures and you're
- 11:13Speaker 1: trying to reach for something and never quite get to it.
- 11:16Speaker 1: You create something, but you don't do it and follow
- 11:19Speaker 1: it all the way through. Like that's this is what
- 11:22Speaker 1: this Cowboys organization is. And whether you're talking about Cooper
- 11:26Speaker 1: Rush or Trey Lance on the field and not being
- 11:29Speaker 1: able to put freaking curtains up in your stadium so
- 11:32Speaker 1: your your players aren't blinded, there's a lot of incompetence
- 11:35Speaker 1: going around, buddy, there really is.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Well, first things first, yes, Cooper Rush, like Cooper Flush.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I had to joke at you, so oh. And then
- 11:55Speaker 2: the other thing, like.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Mccar always horrendous?
- 12:00Speaker 2: How is this I sat there and I just watching
- 12:05Speaker 2: his cut out for a second.
- 12:07Speaker 1: What did you say? How does this guy what you
- 12:10Speaker 1: cut out? Damn it?
- 12:11Speaker 2: I said, how is this man employed? Oh? Yeah, okay,
- 12:17Speaker 2: I'm just looking at his at his at his meaty face,
- 12:20Speaker 2: and I'm looking at like you said, down twenty points
- 12:23Speaker 2: five straight home games, and I'm looking at numbers like
- 12:27Speaker 2: five turnovers, yeah, six points, And honestly, like I there
- 12:33Speaker 2: have been seasons like I think the Lions row in
- 12:35Speaker 2: seventeen one year. Yeah, but man, it's been the long
- 12:38Speaker 2: the team play offense got. These guys are so inept, yeah, Like,
- 12:44Speaker 2: I mean, they are bad at every aspect of all
- 12:48Speaker 2: like they are. And you know, look, I don't think
- 12:51Speaker 2: Dak Prescott's the greatest quarterback in the world, but god
- 12:53Speaker 2: damn he is. He is light years better than these
- 12:58Speaker 2: other guys. They have always.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Listen to this. Cooper rush thirteen to twenty three for
- 13:03Speaker 1: forty five yards. He was averaging two point yards per attempt.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Per attempt.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I don't know if it's the plaque. I guess it's
- 13:11Speaker 2: play calling because it's you know, but I don't.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Know about that. You got receivers going down the field.
- 13:17Speaker 2: You got Yeah, it's a perfect storm of crap. I
- 13:21Speaker 2: mean both, you know, coaching and execution. I'm sure, but
- 13:25Speaker 2: I just I watch that and I'm like, man, especially
- 13:28Speaker 2: in the first half, I was like, man, if the
- 13:29Speaker 2: Eagles are playing any other team, they'd be losing right now.
- 13:32Speaker 2: But I just how much that thought crept into my
- 13:36Speaker 2: head today. I cannot believe how a nept this Cowboys
- 13:42Speaker 2: offense is. It is. It's unlike anything I've seen in
- 13:46Speaker 2: so long I can't even remember. Like they are bad.
- 13:49Speaker 1: They're really bad. It starts with the offensive line too.
- 13:52Speaker 1: You know, they when they let certain offensive linemen go
- 13:55Speaker 1: during the off season, and they're relying on some rookies,
- 13:58Speaker 1: and they're lying on some bad This is what happens.
- 14:02Speaker 1: And when you don't have Jeff Staltlin either. Because the
- 14:05Speaker 1: Eagles offensive line, for the woes that they have had
- 14:08Speaker 1: this year, and they certainly have had some, Jeff Stoutlin's
- 14:11Speaker 1: that type of coach that is able to take somebody
- 14:13Speaker 1: like Fred Johnson and really turn him into an above
- 14:17Speaker 1: serviceable left tackle filling in for Jordan Milatta for all
- 14:21Speaker 1: these weeks. I mean, he's not the best by any stretch,
- 14:23Speaker 1: you know. I mean there's some Fred Johnson's pretty rough
- 14:26Speaker 1: in pass protection sometimes, but he's not costing this team
- 14:30Speaker 1: the games like this Cowboys offensive line and it trickles
- 14:34Speaker 1: to the quarterback for them, has cost them so much
- 14:38Speaker 1: they are horrendous. Yes, the Eagles came into this game.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I don't know, I forget what the I forget what
- 14:44Speaker 1: the line was in terms of them being favorites. But look,
- 14:47Speaker 1: Saquon Barkley didn't have to rush for one hundred and
- 14:50Speaker 1: forty yards in this game. He rushed fourteen times for
- 14:53Speaker 1: sixty six yards. He averaged four point seven yards per attempt.
- 14:56Speaker 1: But overall, the team, along with Jalen Hurts, will Shipley,
- 15:00Speaker 1: Kenneth Gainwell as well, rush for one hundred and eighty
- 15:04Speaker 1: seven total yards. It was a collective rushing effort and
- 15:07Speaker 1: when Jalen needed to pass the ball, which he did
- 15:09Speaker 1: twenty times, he was fourteen to twenty for two hundred
- 15:13Speaker 1: and two yards. He averaged ten point one yards per attempt,
- 15:17Speaker 1: two touchdowns, one interception. He was sacked five times in
- 15:20Speaker 1: that first half, not in the second half at all,
- 15:23Speaker 1: but overall thirty eight total rushing attempts by the Eagles.
- 15:28Speaker 1: They're a rush first offense, and I love this. I
- 15:30Speaker 1: love the way I love where this offense is gone.
- 15:32Speaker 1: When I love it after ten weeks of play.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's just good, you know, being able
- 15:38Speaker 2: to see Hurts make that play that he did, score
- 15:40Speaker 2: the touchdown, and then Barkley you just see him, especially
- 15:44Speaker 2: in that second half. I think he was hurt for
- 15:45Speaker 2: a little while on the first half. Yeah, but you
- 15:47Speaker 2: know towards the end of the game when they're you know,
- 15:49Speaker 2: kind of salting it away, just him ripping off like
- 15:52Speaker 2: nine ten yards at a time. Yep. Yeah, it's it's
- 15:56Speaker 2: fun to be able to watch that.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It is it is. Let's move to the defense another
- 15:59Speaker 1: theme here, you know, before we get to our break
- 16:01Speaker 1: real quick, and I don't know if you have any
- 16:03Speaker 1: other themes too, but look, coming into this game, the
- 16:06Speaker 1: Eagles led the NFL with thirty three points off of turnovers,
- 16:10Speaker 1: and that was over the last three weeks. I mean,
- 16:13Speaker 1: this really has been such a well coached defense over
- 16:17Speaker 1: the past month. Pointing out, yes, that the competition hasn't
- 16:21Speaker 1: necessarily been the greatest competition in the world, but for
- 16:25Speaker 1: what it is, it's I think it's impressive. Nonetheless, these
- 16:27Speaker 1: are NFL teams you play, who's on your schedule. The
- 16:32Speaker 1: turnaround from this defense len from where they were at
- 16:36Speaker 1: during that Tampa Bay game earlier this season, where they're
- 16:39Speaker 1: at right now, it doesn't get much better than this
- 16:41Speaker 1: with this defense.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they definitely have come on. Man it you know,
- 16:46Speaker 2: I don't want to say this and Jinks things, but man,
- 16:48Speaker 2: it looks like those two defensive backs if they drafted
- 16:52Speaker 2: at the front of this year's draft, man, they got
- 16:54Speaker 2: a couple studs. Because I both Mitchell and Degene made
- 16:59Speaker 2: some plays and have been making plays, you know, throughout
- 17:02Speaker 2: the season. Yes, but and they're they're they're both really impressive.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I really impressive.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Quinnon Mitchell, man, I mean he is a damn good
- 17:11Speaker 1: cornerback man. He is he barring any injuries long term
- 17:16Speaker 1: or anything, he is good. He is going to be
- 17:19Speaker 1: fantastic in this role moving forward once Darius Slay is gone.
- 17:23Speaker 1: And uh, it's I can't believe how he did it.
- 17:28Speaker 1: But seriously, how was Cooper de Gene also there in
- 17:30Speaker 1: the second round for them to take How that happened?
- 17:33Speaker 2: God? Yeah, that's That's one of those things where you know,
- 17:35Speaker 2: in a couple of years when name your favorite you know,
- 17:39Speaker 2: sports publication that you read when they were they do
- 17:41Speaker 2: the red Draft. Yeah, you know, three years from now,
- 17:44Speaker 2: you know, both those guys will be going probably a
- 17:46Speaker 2: lot higher than they did.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Absolutely. Look, the Dallas Cowboys offense weren't on the field
- 17:51Speaker 1: too much, but even when they were, I mean, there
- 17:53Speaker 1: was three sacks from this Eagles defense, five tackles for
- 17:57Speaker 1: a loss. There were seven passes defended, quarterback hits, and
- 18:01Speaker 1: I do have to say this to Another theme for
- 18:03Speaker 1: me is the fact that Zach bonn Na Kobe Dean
- 18:08Speaker 1: the linebackers of the future. Holy cow, these guys have
- 18:13Speaker 1: come on strong this season. They are playing some damn
- 18:17Speaker 1: good football.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Win.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I mean, they are playing really good, especially Zach Bond.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Holy shit, dude, get him a contract. Howie signed.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a guy they should sign like tomorrow or yesterday.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Even in terms of extending him. Dean had had a
- 18:33Speaker 2: real good game too. I should have had another interception
- 18:37Speaker 2: that hit him right in the hands. But you know what,
- 18:39Speaker 2: you know, what are you gonna do? It's that's that's
- 18:41Speaker 2: netpicking at this point. It's there's a part of me
- 18:44Speaker 2: it's like, how much was the Eagles defense being good
- 18:49Speaker 2: versus the fact that they were just playing perhaps the
- 18:52Speaker 2: most wolf of offense or one of the most wolf
- 18:54Speaker 2: of offenses in the NFL. Right A good point, I
- 18:57Speaker 2: don't know, but but I mean, listen, you gotta give
- 18:59Speaker 2: credit where it's to. The defense played a phenomenal game.
- 19:03Speaker 1: They did. They did interesting how Jalx Hunt, the rookie
- 19:07Speaker 1: Jalx Hunt was playing ahead of Bryce Huff in this game.
- 19:11Speaker 1: You know, coaches last week said, you know, they were
- 19:14Speaker 1: just trying to you know, they were just trying to
- 19:16Speaker 1: preserve Bryce Huff a little bit, you know, nothing to
- 19:19Speaker 1: be concerned about with him moving forward. This week, Jalx
- 19:22Speaker 1: Hunt is getting in on the action and quite frankly,
- 19:26Speaker 1: disturbing some stuff in the backfield. Jalx Hunt not that
- 19:30Speaker 1: bad of a pass rusher, not terrible at all. I
- 19:33Speaker 1: mean it doesn't really say it on the stat sheet, but.
- 19:37Speaker 2: He got a hand on Uh yes, it might have
- 19:39Speaker 2: been that play where where Dean could have got that could.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I think it was ye.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yeah, he got a hand up on that and deflected it.
- 19:46Speaker 2: And look, you know, we we've kind of been negative
- 19:50Speaker 2: towards Bryce Huff, you know, for for good reason earlier
- 19:53Speaker 2: in the year. But he had a you know, he
- 19:55Speaker 2: contributed today. He had a sack, he had a tackle
- 19:57Speaker 2: for loss. You know, he was and they're doing stuff too,
- 20:01Speaker 2: so you know, it looks like maybe something's turned around there.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know, coaching or whatever, but he contributed
- 20:09Speaker 2: today as well, so that should be mentioned.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Absolutely. Tush push. They did it one time today, first
- 20:15Speaker 1: quarter at the goal line, their first score of the game.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Just len past two Eagles postgame shows. My guests and
- 20:23Speaker 1: I were talking about just how, you know, the tush
- 20:25Speaker 1: push maybe getting figured out, So I wanted to be
- 20:29Speaker 1: fair here. It was used once in this game on
- 20:31Speaker 1: the goal line and it worked. So glad to see it.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Glad to see it still working and that the Dallas
- 20:36Speaker 1: Cowboys woeful team didn't stop it this week, but it's
- 20:40Speaker 1: something something I think we may be talking about a
- 20:42Speaker 1: little bit more in the future if the tush push
- 20:44Speaker 1: is getting figured out, which has been here and there
- 20:46Speaker 1: in some games, and its effectiveness still obviously effective, but
- 20:51Speaker 1: how much and for how much longer it's going to
- 20:53Speaker 1: be effective? Not one hundred percent sure, but I just
- 20:56Speaker 1: wanted to mention that to some folks because we've been
- 20:58Speaker 1: talking about on the postgame shows and.
- 21:00Speaker 2: They have, like I know, last week against Jacksonville they
- 21:03Speaker 2: had they were in toush push formation and kind of
- 21:05Speaker 2: like did did a different kind of run? Yeah, so
- 21:08Speaker 2: I think they are maybe becoming a little bit cognizant
- 21:13Speaker 2: of that themselves, and maybe they're gonna throw some variations
- 21:17Speaker 2: and they're just to keep it in the back of
- 21:19Speaker 2: other team's minds hopefully, which so hopefully that plays into
- 21:23Speaker 2: it some too.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Are right, well, buddy, do you have any other themes
- 21:25Speaker 1: that you wanted to get into, But you know, before
- 21:27Speaker 1: we head to break here and then get to the grades.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I mean it just that you know that that's stat man,
- 21:34Speaker 2: five turnovers versus six points for the Cowboys is yeah,
- 21:40Speaker 2: I mean, and and just hopefully you know the Eagles players,
- 21:44Speaker 2: you know, they're all buddy buddy after games, Hopefully a
- 21:47Speaker 2: bunch of them went over to Michael Parsons and said, hey,
- 21:51Speaker 2: you know, Dak got a ton of money, CD got
- 21:53Speaker 2: a ton of money. I don't know if they're gonna
- 21:54Speaker 2: have money for you. And even if they did, do
- 21:56Speaker 2: you really want to be part of this right? Come
- 21:58Speaker 2: on home?
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yes.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Hopefully, hopefully that that conversation, even if it was in jest,
- 22:03Speaker 2: Hopefully that conversation was had after today's game off the field, yep.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Absolutely, Look, folks, before we go to break here, Eagles
- 22:12Speaker 1: three hundred and forty eight total yards on the day
- 22:14Speaker 1: to the Cowboys one hundred and forty six yards. The
- 22:18Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles had twenty four first downs in this game
- 22:22Speaker 1: to the Cowboys eleven eleven. That's it, folks. So we're
- 22:27Speaker 1: gonna take a quick break here, We're gonna come back.
- 22:29Speaker 1: We're gonna get into our grades. Stick with us, all right,
- 22:33Speaker 1: we are back, lenn Is with us, and we're gonna
- 22:36Speaker 1: get into the grades. Each unit of the Philadelphia Eagles
- 22:40Speaker 1: on offense and defense a quarterback this week. Dude, I
- 22:45Speaker 1: look a tail of two halves for Jalen Hurts for sure.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I mean the interception was terrible and quite frankly, Dallas
- 22:52Speaker 1: Goddard should have at least tried to break up that pass.
- 22:56Speaker 1: There was the ability for him to do that, and
- 22:58Speaker 1: it was Look, it was jayl Hurts is it was
- 23:01Speaker 1: his first interception thrown by him in five games here,
- 23:04Speaker 1: So Dallas Gotter kind of stood there watched to happen.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Then again, Jalen Hurts probably shouldn't have thrown that. But
- 23:12Speaker 1: if I had to give Jalen Hurts a grade, which
- 23:14Speaker 1: we're gonna obviously do, I would say at the end
- 23:17Speaker 1: of the half it was like C minus for me.
- 23:20Speaker 1: After the second half, I'm gonna go up to a
- 23:22Speaker 1: straight up B for Jalen Hurts this week. I'm not
- 23:26Speaker 1: gonna do Kenny Pickett. Even though he got in and stuff,
- 23:29Speaker 1: he really didn't. He wasn't a factor.
- 23:31Speaker 2: He was there to hand the ball off pretty much exactly.
- 23:33Speaker 1: So I'm given I'm given into the quarterback position this
- 23:36Speaker 1: week of B. What do you give? What do you
- 23:38Speaker 1: give Hurts? In the in the quarterbacks?
- 23:40Speaker 2: I think B is fair. I mean it's really hard
- 23:42Speaker 2: to rag on a guy when he threw an interception
- 23:44Speaker 2: the first time in five games. Yeah, whether brow is
- 23:47Speaker 2: bad or not, it's just like, okay, you know, what
- 23:51Speaker 2: are you gonna do. My only thing is, dude, don't
- 23:55Speaker 2: hold the ball so long. Don't be afraid to just
- 23:58Speaker 2: throw the ball away.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Every which we saw in the second half we did. Yeah.
- 24:02Speaker 2: So and again I don't know how much the you know,
- 24:06Speaker 2: the you know, the vision, you know, was it was
- 24:09Speaker 2: an issue. I think that could have been a legitimate like,
- 24:12Speaker 2: the more the game went on, I was like, man,
- 24:16Speaker 2: that might have really been part of the problem there. Yeah,
- 24:19Speaker 2: But still I think he tries to maybe make something
- 24:22Speaker 2: happen too much sometimes and sometimes you just got to
- 24:26Speaker 2: give up on a play. And then I think that's
- 24:29Speaker 2: that's something that would would help him a lot, and
- 24:31Speaker 2: just you know, you got to give it up sometimes.
- 24:33Speaker 2: So but outside I think it be is a very
- 24:35Speaker 2: fair grade.
- 24:36Speaker 1: All right, Let's get into the running backs. Saquon Barkley
- 24:39Speaker 1: will ship Lee Kenneth gain Well. As I mentioned earlier,
- 24:42Speaker 1: Saquon Barkley averaged four point seven yards per attempt in
- 24:46Speaker 1: this game. Is long was only eleven kind of weird?
- 24:49Speaker 1: I say, only eleven kind of bizarre for Saquon Barkley numbers.
- 24:52Speaker 1: You know, we're used to that six yards basically averaging
- 24:56Speaker 1: per carry per game, but it just didn't need to
- 24:59Speaker 1: happen in this game because there was one hundred and
- 25:00Speaker 1: eighty seven total yards with all the rushing. Kenneth Gainwell
- 25:04Speaker 1: averaged four point three yards per attempt, Will Shipley averaged
- 25:08Speaker 1: three point eight yards per attempt, you know, and the
- 25:12Speaker 1: running backs did what they should have done in this
- 25:14Speaker 1: game here, they should have done it well, well over
- 25:18Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty yards on the day from them.
- 25:20Speaker 1: So I'm gonna give the running backs and a minus
- 25:22Speaker 1: this week, buddy, What do you give them?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah? I think it was a you know, good game,
- 25:27Speaker 2: not a great game by any stretch, but I mean,
- 25:30Speaker 2: I don't know, they weren't needed as much, like you said,
- 25:35Speaker 2: you know, nobody got like any any amount of carries
- 25:38Speaker 2: that would make you say, oh, workhorse. You know that
- 25:41Speaker 2: didn't happen. I say, b plus, I mean, it was good,
- 25:46Speaker 2: It wasn't great, but you know it didn't need to
- 25:47Speaker 2: be today.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Okay, let's move to the receivers and tight ends. You've
- 25:51Speaker 1: got aj Brown who was targeted seven times. Came down
- 25:54Speaker 1: with five balls for one hundred and nine yards. He
- 25:56Speaker 1: averaged twenty one point eight yards per reception. Johan Dotson
- 26:01Speaker 1: getting one target, he came down with it for twenty
- 26:03Speaker 1: seven yards. Dallas Goddard back from injury, three targets, he
- 26:07Speaker 1: caught two of them for twenty five yards, and then
- 26:09Speaker 1: Davonte Smith with also having three targets, coming down with
- 26:13Speaker 1: two balls for only fourteen yards. In this game, I'd
- 26:15Speaker 1: really like to see Davonte Smith getting more involved with
- 26:18Speaker 1: the offensive game planning in John. He's such a damn
- 26:20Speaker 1: good receiver and I just don't think they scheme around
- 26:23Speaker 1: him enough. Lynn. It's that that's troublesome for me, it
- 26:28Speaker 1: really is. And look, they dominated the Dallas Cowboys. They
- 26:31Speaker 1: didn't need have Davonte Smith out there, you know, But
- 26:34Speaker 1: seeing him on doing like mesh concept plays, I actually
- 26:37Speaker 1: get like very excited about it.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean, it'd be nice to see him
- 26:43Speaker 2: and him and AJ Brown kind of go off the
- 26:46Speaker 2: same time. Feels like one of them does and then
- 26:49Speaker 2: the other one has a quiet day, and today was
- 26:52Speaker 2: AJ Brown's day. It was nice to see you mentioned
- 26:56Speaker 2: Goddard on that interception, which I agree with you one
- 26:58Speaker 2: hundred percent. He should have gotten in there. Yeah, but
- 27:01Speaker 2: I mean it was nice to see him kind of
- 27:02Speaker 2: get back into the swing of things with a touchdown.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Only targeted three times, but he caught two balls, So
- 27:09Speaker 2: well great. Yeah, uh, I'll go I'll go be. And
- 27:16Speaker 2: that's largely on the strength of aj Brown.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I was going to say too, you know,
- 27:20Speaker 1: because I feel like the running backs and the receivers
- 27:23Speaker 1: in this game, I felt like, for some reason, more
- 27:25Speaker 1: was on Jalen Hurts his shoulders, you know, how he
- 27:28Speaker 1: went and how he played half by half, that's how
- 27:32Speaker 1: the trend was going to go with regard to the
- 27:35Speaker 1: ground game and passing game too. So I'm gonna go
- 27:38Speaker 1: be with the receivers and tight ends.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Yeah. And and I'll say this, you know, it was
- 27:42Speaker 2: he's only targeted once and he caught it and it
- 27:44Speaker 2: was a touchdown. But I would mind seeing a little
- 27:46Speaker 2: bit more of Johnny Wilson. Yeah, you know, I think
- 27:49Speaker 2: there's there's some areas, especially in that red zone where
- 27:53Speaker 2: you know, with his frame, you know, maybe or maybe
- 27:56Speaker 2: if you uh kind of just need a couple of
- 27:58Speaker 2: yards for a first you can on a crossing rounde
- 28:01Speaker 2: or something. You know, I feel like you could you
- 28:03Speaker 2: could use him, so yeah, but yeah, I would say,
- 28:07Speaker 2: be all in.
- 28:08Speaker 1: All sounds good. Hey, Johnny Wilson, possible tight end too,
- 28:10Speaker 1: He's got the size.
- 28:12Speaker 2: He really does about it.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right, let's move to the offensive line.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I thought the offensive line in general had a really
- 28:18Speaker 1: good game. Those sacks with Hurts, I mean it really
- 28:21Speaker 1: was like just him holding onto the ball for way
- 28:24Speaker 1: too long, not getting outside of the pocket, poor pocket
- 28:27Speaker 1: management on his part. But I'm giving the offensive line
- 28:30Speaker 1: and a minus this week. I thought they did a pretty
- 28:32Speaker 1: damn good job. I really do they They helped, they
- 28:35Speaker 1: helped this team to win this game. What do you think?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm fine with that. I do you know,
- 28:41Speaker 2: I don't think when when it's five sacks, I don't
- 28:45Speaker 2: know that it's always on Hurts. I mean, I'm sure
- 28:47Speaker 2: there's a couple where, you know, I would say most
- 28:50Speaker 2: of the time he's probably the culprit in terms of
- 28:53Speaker 2: holding onto the ball too long. But I'm sure there
- 28:55Speaker 2: were one or two in there that, you know, Okay,
- 28:57Speaker 2: maybe maybe the line kind of just let somebody throw. Yeah,
- 29:01Speaker 2: but I think overall is strong game. I'll say B plus.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Okay, B plus, all right, let's move over to the defense.
- 29:07Speaker 1: The defensive line again, like the sacks weren't completely there
- 29:11Speaker 1: this week, only three on the day, there were five
- 29:14Speaker 1: tackles for a loss. You had what's his name, Rico Dawdle.
- 29:19Speaker 1: He carried the ball twelve times for fifty three yards.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Wasn't a great day for him or Zeke who only
- 29:25Speaker 1: averaged three point seven yards per play this week. So
- 29:28Speaker 1: I thought the defensive line did a pretty damn good job,
- 29:31Speaker 1: just like the rest of this defense has been really
- 29:34Speaker 1: on fire over this past month. So I'm actually gonna
- 29:36Speaker 1: give him an a minus this week. They doesn't have
- 29:40Speaker 1: to really show like the numbers on the stat sheet, Len,
- 29:44Speaker 1: but I think just the dominant way that they were
- 29:47Speaker 1: playing and just being disruptive, I think it's a minus material.
- 29:51Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 29:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think Jellen Carter had a nice game.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Milton Williams in the first quarter had a nice fulmer recovery. Yep,
- 30:00Speaker 2: you know, we mentioned you know, Jelex Hunt. We mentioned
- 30:05Speaker 2: Bryce Huff as well, so it felt like kind of
- 30:08Speaker 2: everybody was getting in on it. Yes, So yeah, I
- 30:12Speaker 2: think I think they had a nice game in general.
- 30:16Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm in agreement with the A minus.
- 30:19Speaker 1: There, right, even Nolan Smith having a tackle for a
- 30:21Speaker 1: loss too. Love to see that he's been developing this season.
- 30:24Speaker 1: So all right, Well, the linebackers, I'm gonna give him
- 30:27Speaker 1: a straight up A this week. It would have been
- 30:29Speaker 1: an A plus if Nikobe Dean had come up with
- 30:31Speaker 1: that interception that seemed to be rating his hands there.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I know, a little awkward with him up in the
- 30:37Speaker 1: air the way that he was, but I'm giving him
- 30:40Speaker 1: an A.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Man.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Zach Bond and na Kobe Dean have been fantastic to watch, Lenn,
- 30:44Speaker 1: What do you get? What do you give the linebackers
- 30:45Speaker 1: this week?
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah? I think A is fair and I don't think
- 30:50Speaker 2: I think by the time that plane lands they should
- 30:53Speaker 2: have a contract in front of Bond. Yes, I mean
- 30:56Speaker 2: I really I think he's he's had a really nice year.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Man, absolutely absolutely. All right, let's move the secondary and
- 31:04Speaker 1: then we're gonna get into some coaching grades. I'm gonna
- 31:07Speaker 1: give the secondary here because they held Ceedee Lamb to
- 31:12Speaker 1: twenty one yards on ten targets. Ceedee Lamb caught six
- 31:17Speaker 1: balls and look, I mean we talked about it. The
- 31:22Speaker 1: Cowboys offense is terrible. Their quarterbacks were terrible. Jake Ferguson
- 31:25Speaker 1: had five targets for four yards. He was their leading
- 31:28Speaker 1: receiver with twenty four yards. They are rough, rough, but
- 31:32Speaker 1: that's because the Eagles secondary played lights out today. They're
- 31:36Speaker 1: getting an A from me. What do you give them?
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah, straight up A CJ. Gardner. Johnson had a couple
- 31:44Speaker 2: of nice plays and gave me a big hit early.
- 31:47Speaker 2: You know, I thought Quinny and Mitchell had a couple
- 31:50Speaker 2: of passes defense. He had a really nice game. Cooper
- 31:53Speaker 2: de Jean was Johnny on the spot with Zeke's fumble
- 31:57Speaker 2: there in the end zone. Yeah, I mean, men, that
- 32:01Speaker 2: the difference between last year and this year. And again,
- 32:04Speaker 2: I hate to say something that might become a jinx,
- 32:07Speaker 2: but the feeling that we had towards the secondary from
- 32:10Speaker 2: last year to this year is it's just night and day. Hey. Yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 2: Slay had a decent game too. I don't want to
- 32:17Speaker 2: leave him out. He had a nice game as well.
- 32:20Speaker 2: So yeah, all in all, I mean, just all the
- 32:22Speaker 2: way around, A for the secondary.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Absolutely. Slay had two passes defended today. Fantastic. Seriously, when
- 32:29Speaker 1: your cornerback has two passes defended. That's a damn good day,
- 32:32Speaker 1: it really is.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Yeah, oh absolutely, And no tackles.
- 32:34Speaker 1: No tackles, by the way, you love when your cornerbacks
- 32:36Speaker 1: aren't tackling. Yep, yep, all right, let's move to coaching.
- 32:42Speaker 1: We are going to talk about special teams. Look, Eagle
- 32:44Speaker 1: special teams in the first half were an absolute disaster.
- 32:47Speaker 1: There are flags, some bad punts by Braden Mann. Eagle
- 32:51Speaker 1: special teams were not too too good. They ended up
- 32:54Speaker 1: getting some things together. Of course, Jake Elliott doing a
- 32:57Speaker 1: pretty damn good job, as he has for me the
- 33:00Speaker 1: most of this season. He was two for two on
- 33:02Speaker 1: the day as long as thirty nine. Bradon Man did
- 33:05Speaker 1: have four punts on the day average fifty two yards,
- 33:07Speaker 1: which inevitably ended up being pretty good stat numbers for him.
- 33:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna give special teams a straight up B plus
- 33:13Speaker 1: this week. What do you give them?
- 33:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean Elliott, I think we kind of just
- 33:18Speaker 2: you want to talk about a guy on the team
- 33:20Speaker 2: that I think everybody just takes for granted at this point, Yes,
- 33:23Speaker 2: I would put Jake Elliot in that category, but yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 2: nothing like super awesome. I know, Degene had a really
- 33:30Speaker 2: nice punt return. So yeah, I'll say B plus I
- 33:35Speaker 2: think is fair grade sounds good.
- 33:37Speaker 1: The defense, the coaching by Vic Fangio and company. When
- 33:42Speaker 1: you are holding a yes, a terrible Dallas Cowboys team,
- 33:46Speaker 1: then again only to six points, You're just getting consistent
- 33:50Speaker 1: pressure on the quarterback. Your defensive backs are just holding
- 33:55Speaker 1: down the fort, making sure one seeded lamb is not
- 33:58Speaker 1: going nuts and going off. When they needed a rebound
- 34:01Speaker 1: game and this was going to be it, and it
- 34:03Speaker 1: didn't happen at all. The rushing attack was virtually stopped
- 34:08Speaker 1: less than one hundred yards rushing by the Cowboys because
- 34:10Speaker 1: of this Eagles defense. I'm giving Vic Fangio and what
- 34:13Speaker 1: he drew up for this game and a plus, Lynn,
- 34:16Speaker 1: what do you give him?
- 34:19Speaker 2: Yeah? I don't like giving out a pluses because yeah,
- 34:22Speaker 2: because you know, I feel like that should be reserved
- 34:26Speaker 2: for a special situation, but I think this might warrant it. Yeah,
- 34:30Speaker 2: I really they shut them down and you go over
- 34:34Speaker 2: this Dallas Cowboys offensive stat line and you cannot find
- 34:37Speaker 2: one guy on here that you could honestly say had
- 34:41Speaker 2: a really good day. So yeah, I mean they they
- 34:45Speaker 2: shut them down every way that you could shut a
- 34:47Speaker 2: team down, so a plus all right.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Offensive coaching Nick Sirianni Kellen Moore, Kellen Moore heading back
- 34:53Speaker 1: to Dallas in this game. Overall, I think they drew
- 34:57Speaker 1: up a pretty damn good offensive game plan. Hurts had
- 35:00Speaker 1: some hiccups as we know in the first half, which
- 35:02Speaker 1: we discussed, but I think from an offensive game planning
- 35:05Speaker 1: standpoint and them understanding and knowing that Jalen Hurts has
- 35:10Speaker 1: been doing much better under center. We have been seeing
- 35:14Speaker 1: this the past three games. He's been under center more,
- 35:17Speaker 1: He's been able to manage the game. I'm not saying
- 35:21Speaker 1: he's a game manager, folks, but I'm saying he's been
- 35:22Speaker 1: able to manage the offense a lot better being under center.
- 35:26Speaker 1: And they've been implementing a lot more motion these past
- 35:29Speaker 1: few weeks as well. We saw a lot more motion today,
- 35:32Speaker 1: not as much as I would like, but still it's there.
- 35:35Speaker 1: I'm going to get the offensive play calling an A
- 35:37Speaker 1: minus this week? What do you give them?
- 35:40Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean it probably felt great for god None,
- 35:46Speaker 2: I'm having a brain fart coordinator Kellen Moore, Ya, Kellen Moore, Yes,
- 35:51Speaker 2: Scott lose In my mind here, it probably felt great
- 35:53Speaker 2: for him to come back in there to Dallas and
- 35:56Speaker 2: be able to do this and put up the points
- 35:59Speaker 2: that they did and play the way that they did.
- 36:02Speaker 2: And you know, anytime Nick Sirianni doesn't take points off
- 36:06Speaker 2: the board with his gambler decisions is a good day
- 36:09Speaker 2: in my book. Yeah. So yeah, I'm I'm fine with
- 36:13Speaker 2: an A minus there as well.
- 36:15Speaker 1: All right, I just want to mention this before we
- 36:17Speaker 1: had out Buddy and and our postgame show here sa
- 36:20Speaker 1: Kwon Barkley, who I mean, he's from my area, the
- 36:24Speaker 1: Lehigh Valley here in Pennsylvania. He had his very first
- 36:27Speaker 1: victory down in Dallas since he has been in the NFL.
- 36:31Speaker 1: So kudos to him.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Oh really, I did not realize that.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Yes, yes, very first victory down there. I felt like
- 36:37Speaker 1: it's been forever since the Eagles have won down there. Seriously,
- 36:39Speaker 1: the last decent game they had, I think was twenty
- 36:42Speaker 1: seventeen down the well.
- 36:44Speaker 2: I think because they were showing a graphic like as
- 36:46Speaker 2: the game was about to kick off that was like
- 36:49Speaker 2: something's got to give, and it was I think the
- 36:51Speaker 2: Eagles hadn't won in Dallas since twenty seventeen. Yeah, versus
- 36:55Speaker 2: you know that the Cowboys just getting their blow their
- 37:00Speaker 2: war is blown off at home four times in a row.
- 37:04Speaker 2: So yeah, that was the like something's got to give
- 37:06Speaker 2: here today. Yeah, it happened to be the Eagles, you know,
- 37:11Speaker 2: breaking that losing streaking Dallas.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Absolutely, all right, Well that's gonna do it for our
- 37:15Speaker 1: Eagles postgame show. You got anything else, buddy, No, no,
- 37:20Speaker 1: I don't. Well, the Eagles are seven and two on
- 37:23Speaker 1: the season again, folks, seven and two. They beat the
- 37:25Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys down at AT and T Stadium in Dallas
- 37:29Speaker 1: by a score of thirty four to six here during
- 37:33Speaker 1: Week ten of this twenty twenty four twenty twenty five season.

- 37:51Speaker 1: I'm not a big fan of social media sites these days.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I'm really not these.
- 37:57Speaker 2: On Twitter, so exactly for me there, Yeah.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Folks, Len no longer on Twitter. It's a sad day.
- 38:02Speaker 2: I have to. I have to when I decide I
- 38:06Speaker 2: feel like looking at social media again. Yes, maybe I'll
- 38:09Speaker 2: look into threads. I've been thinking about it.
- 38:11Speaker 1: There you go, bad. Yeah.
- 38:14Speaker 2: At this point, the only thing I miss with Twitter
- 38:18Speaker 2: is after Cowboys losses, I do like to go. It's
- 38:20Speaker 2: the one time I do like Stephen A. Smith. I
- 38:23Speaker 2: like to go on his his, uh his account and
- 38:26Speaker 2: watch the videos of him laughing at the Cowboys losing.
- 38:28Speaker 2: That's literally the only thing from Twitter that I'm gonna miss.
- 38:32Speaker 2: So I won't get to see that tonight, but you know, right,
- 38:35Speaker 2: great lasts must be made.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Yes, yes, fantastic. Last words for this Eagles postgame podcast.
