- 0:01Speaker 1: When I woke up this morning, I was feeling pretty dangerous.
- 0:03Speaker 1: But we're on a cincinn it's my quarterback. They are
- 0:08Speaker 1: who we thought they were, and we got about. Hello.
- 0:11Speaker 1: You play to win the day. They want you to
- 0:14Speaker 1: cook the dinner. At least they ought to let your
- 0:16Speaker 1: shot for some of the grocery. And on the way up,
- 0:18Speaker 1: we're gonna buy the kneecap all getting me playoffs. I'm
- 0:21Speaker 1: just here so I won't get fine. How could he
- 0:23Speaker 1: not be romantic about football? Happen? Welcome to bench? Hello,
- 0:29Speaker 1: we back, Hey, we back, We back in studio with
- 0:33Speaker 1: the Mohan. Did you guys miss me? Who? Oh? Why
- 0:38Speaker 1: does it have to be about you? Jink? Because I
- 0:40Speaker 1: wasn't there. You guys were there. We missed you terribly.
- 0:45Speaker 1: In fact, every single morning, Graver and I would wake
- 0:48Speaker 1: up and we would have our little our little teas,
- 0:51Speaker 1: eating our biscuits, and we'd leave one empty chair at
- 0:55Speaker 1: our table, and that's where Mohan was in spirit. I'm kidding.
- 0:58Speaker 1: We didn't do it every single morning. We didn't do
- 1:00Speaker 1: that once. We missed you a lot. We missed you
- 1:03Speaker 1: a lot. We could have used your help. It was
- 1:06Speaker 1: pretty busy two weeks but I am back. I am
- 1:09Speaker 1: so happy to be back. I'm literally going to turn
- 1:11Speaker 1: around in a couple of weeks and then go to Munich,
- 1:13Speaker 1: which seems crazy. Great are you going to Munich? No,
- 1:16Speaker 1: come on, you know we're on your own. What goes
- 1:20Speaker 1: on guys. London was legitimately so fun. And I gotta
- 1:24Speaker 1: tell you, I know that this has happened before, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: I've mentioned it on the podcast. Somebody legitimately came up
- 1:29Speaker 1: to me and was like, Rachel, Oh my god, happy birthday,
- 1:32Speaker 1: thank you, think you, thank you. And then he pulled
- 1:34Speaker 1: me aside and he's like, how are your hives? A
- 1:37Speaker 1: person in real life asked me that question out loud,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and I was like, they're fine, thank you. Please don't
- 1:42Speaker 1: bring this up ever again. Are you all healed up?
- 1:45Speaker 1: I guess kind of. I've got some like look at
- 1:48Speaker 1: you can see where they are. Yeah, dude, guys, I'm
- 1:51Speaker 1: not lying. They were bad. They were. It was a
- 1:55Speaker 1: just full misery sitting here doing this podcast. We just
- 1:58Speaker 1: pulled to Aaron Rodgers showing me yea feet like I
- 2:01Speaker 1: didn't show my feet. I didn't show my feet. But
- 2:03Speaker 1: if that's going to entice our listeners to come and
- 2:06Speaker 1: watch the video version. Then I showed all ten tutsis, Allmatoes.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Um no, but seriously, uh, London was so cool. I
- 2:16Speaker 1: had never been. And I'm not just saying this because
- 2:19Speaker 1: we worked for the league. It was insane to see
- 2:21Speaker 1: how many fans there were, all these different jerseys, old jerseys,
- 2:27Speaker 1: new jerseys of every single team. It didn't matter if
- 2:30Speaker 1: it was the Saints Vikings game or Giants Packers. All
- 2:33Speaker 1: of these fans came out and it was actually really
- 2:36Speaker 1: cool to see. It was fun. I was walking around
- 2:38Speaker 1: the stadium and I saw some people in Titans jerseys
- 2:41Speaker 1: and I was like a tighten up and all these
- 2:42Speaker 1: people ignored me, and I was like, what was your
- 2:47Speaker 1: number one? Your favorite moment? You had to pick one.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Oh gosh, My favorite moment was probably at night when
- 2:57Speaker 1: I got to go to sleep. But other than that,
- 3:01Speaker 1: Idris Alba said yes to coming on our pre show
- 3:03Speaker 1: and I was like, I want, don't I don't want.
- 3:07Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, I'll come do it, and then the
- 3:08Speaker 1: manager was like absolutely not, He's got places to go.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So I found out that Adris Alba was really nice
- 3:15Speaker 1: and his manager's staball was the ATN Live show in
- 3:19Speaker 1: your Top five atn Live show was so cool. I
- 3:23Speaker 1: wore the I got this like England kit to wear
- 3:25Speaker 1: because I was like, I'm in London. People are gonna
- 3:27Speaker 1: obviously there's so many soccer fans, and I was thinking
- 3:31Speaker 1: that I was gonna get a really good reaction to it.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And there was a mixed bag, like people were like
- 3:35Speaker 1: kind of okay, okay, And then somebody was telling me
- 3:38Speaker 1: a couple of days later, They're like, that was really
- 3:40Speaker 1: bold of you to do. And I was like, what
- 3:42Speaker 1: are you talking about bold? Like we're in London, like
- 3:45Speaker 1: we're in an England kit and the like. There were
- 3:47Speaker 1: so many people from all over the all over Europe.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Then I was just like, whatever, you know, throw me
- 3:55Speaker 1: a bone. I had a blast though, and it was
- 3:58Speaker 1: really cool just hanging out with people and being there
- 4:01Speaker 1: and like I said, I'm off to Munich in a
- 4:02Speaker 1: couple of weeks. Um, guys, Mohan, you've had quite a
- 4:07Speaker 1: day already. Do you want to save this for Mohan's minute?
- 4:10Speaker 1: Wait for that? You want to wait for that tease? Okay, Okay,
- 4:13Speaker 1: let's talk about some football, shall we. I feel like
- 4:15Speaker 1: I'm even though we were there covering football. I feel
- 4:17Speaker 1: like I'm I'm so behind on everything, so it's kind
- 4:21Speaker 1: of in fun this week to like get caught up.
- 4:23Speaker 1: But I know why you're looking at me. I forgot
- 4:25Speaker 1: that I have an announcement. I have an announcement, so stupid,
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm cutting my hair and I'm gonna get bangs on Tuesday.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That's my announcement. Congrats, that's cool, Thank you, guys. And
- 4:41Speaker 1: just so you guys all know, I asked Graver for
- 4:43Speaker 1: that noise because I wanted the announcement to feel big
- 4:46Speaker 1: and bold, like my hair choice. What color are you going,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'm going really dark brown. I'm getting rid of the blonde.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I'm over as it looks dumb. Zoe Deschanel. No, she's
- 4:57Speaker 1: Dorky's skill like Dakota Johnson. Anyways, guys, so next week
- 5:08Speaker 1: on Tuesday, I'm getting bangs. That's my announcement. Let's talk
- 5:11Speaker 1: about some football, Okay, not for these shenanigans. I want
- 5:15Speaker 1: to talk about something I think I realized this week.
- 5:17Speaker 1: This is what's on my mind. By the way, I
- 5:19Speaker 1: think I realized this week both the easiest job in
- 5:23Speaker 1: the NFL and the most difficult. And I want to
- 5:25Speaker 1: run this past you guys, and you either agree or
- 5:27Speaker 1: disagree and come up with your own options. Okay, the
- 5:31Speaker 1: easiest job in the NFL, as I realized this week,
- 5:35Speaker 1: is being a bad coach. That is the easiest job.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Matt Rule got fired. Do you know how much money
- 5:43Speaker 1: he is making? Okay, the Panthers owe him forty million dollars.
- 5:47Speaker 1: He is going to make Mohan eight hundred thirty four
- 5:51Speaker 1: thousand dollars per month for losing a bunch of football
- 5:56Speaker 1: games and just being kind of bad at being a
- 5:58Speaker 1: head coach. That's what does it? Neediest job of all time?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Why were more people not doing it? Sure it's cool
- 6:06Speaker 1: to be a winning coach, but there's only one that's
- 6:09Speaker 1: going to win a Super Bowl. Why not be a
- 6:11Speaker 1: bad one? You get to chill on your couch and
- 6:13Speaker 1: not do anything, and he lays low for a little
- 6:16Speaker 1: comes back as like a decordinator, oh coordinatorge college, where
- 6:21Speaker 1: he was a dominant program builder at Temple and Baylor.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I could not have written this story better. I really
- 6:27Speaker 1: couldn't have. It's crazy because it's all about the contract
- 6:31Speaker 1: you sign. Because Matt Rules signed a seven year contract,
- 6:34Speaker 1: so they just like really believed in him. What what
- 6:36Speaker 1: kind of contracts do was he at first? This is
- 6:38Speaker 1: his first time as a head coach in the NFL?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Seven what is this a usual thing? That they signed
- 6:43Speaker 1: for seven years? That seems extensive. It is extensive, But
- 6:47Speaker 1: they also like don't usually announce NFL head coaching contracts
- 6:52Speaker 1: the way that you see like every single players kind
- 6:54Speaker 1: of like websites dedicated to players salary cap contracts and stuff.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Coaches like they usually get announced as like, oh, so
- 7:01Speaker 1: and so signed a three year extension. It's like how
- 7:03Speaker 1: much money. I have no idea, nobody knows, but seven
- 7:06Speaker 1: years is very long. Seven years is a really long time.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It just seems kind of crazy. And I'm just remembering something. Okay,
- 7:12Speaker 1: So I heard something spicy and I won't reveal who
- 7:14Speaker 1: was it told me, and it won't reveal who the
- 7:16Speaker 1: coach is. But there's an NFL team that's having some
- 7:19Speaker 1: difficulties with their coach because they have the coach has
- 7:22Speaker 1: a silly voice and all the players are having trouble,
- 7:26Speaker 1: like they can't take him serious. I can't say who
- 7:31Speaker 1: it is or I'll get in trouble. Can we guess, sir?
- 7:34Speaker 1: You can guess what I'm not reacting who do you
- 7:35Speaker 1: think it is based on that Nathaniel Hacket. I don't
- 7:39Speaker 1: know what he sounds like. I don't know what he
- 7:40Speaker 1: sounds like either, but that is a good guess. But
- 7:44Speaker 1: definitely doesn't sound weird. I just said to I do
- 7:52Speaker 1: have a Nathaniel Hackett bite. If you want to hear,
- 7:55Speaker 1: let's hear what his voice sounds like. Yeah, could it
- 7:56Speaker 1: be him? Could it be y'all Russell Wilson. Holy, um,
- 8:00Speaker 1: very exciting. Oh, I don't know. I will say I
- 8:03Speaker 1: went and listened to this coach's voice when I heard
- 8:06Speaker 1: this secret and it doesn't sound that weird. So it
- 8:10Speaker 1: must be when he gets mad he maybe his voice
- 8:15Speaker 1: like hits another octave. But anyways, there is a team
- 8:17Speaker 1: in the NFL that doesn't take their coach seriously because
- 8:19Speaker 1: of the sound of their boye. Which it's just like,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you know, you could be playing at the highest level,
- 8:25Speaker 1: but you're still your problems are still like trivial. Like
- 8:28Speaker 1: you guys are still playing like high school football, you
- 8:30Speaker 1: know what I mean? Like that. I just find that.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I found that so it just tickled me. Um, okay,
- 8:36Speaker 1: so this is this is the easiest job. By the way,
- 8:38Speaker 1: Sean Payton called the Panther's head coaching job attractive. Very
- 8:42Speaker 1: interesting though, because is it. No defense is good mccaffreys,
- 8:47Speaker 1: you don't have a quarterback on the roster you can
- 8:51Speaker 1: believe in for a long time. I don't see how
- 8:54Speaker 1: it's attractive. I don't know, because that's why Matt rules.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I mean, the Panthers have struggled in a lot of areas,
- 9:00Speaker 1: but not nailing the quarterback position is the main reason
- 9:02Speaker 1: that he is out of a job. It took him
- 9:03Speaker 1: three years. He still doesn't have a good quarterback. See,
- 9:06Speaker 1: if you don't get a good quarterback, you're screwed. I
- 9:08Speaker 1: also feel like there's probably way more problems with that
- 9:11Speaker 1: team other than that head coach. But like management has
- 9:14Speaker 1: to be or ownership has to be, like we got
- 9:16Speaker 1: to do something, so they're the first ones to go
- 9:18Speaker 1: and like let's see if we can. I don't know.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I don't wouldn't want to be on the team right now. Okay,
- 9:24Speaker 1: the worst job in the NFL. I think I know
- 9:27Speaker 1: the best job. Okay, yeah, let's hear it. Backup, quarterback.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Look at Jimmy g He's getting paid off the wat Zion.
- 9:33Speaker 1: No story. If you're a Cooper Rush. You come in,
- 9:38Speaker 1: you win a couple of games, everyone's gung ho. You're
- 9:40Speaker 1: expected to lose. If you break even, that's a win. Yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 1: But like you get a head coach. Just so we
- 9:46Speaker 1: were talking about Matt Role gets fired Lilo for a
- 9:48Speaker 1: little bit. Make that money, honey, and then you can
- 9:51Speaker 1: go and get a coaching job elsewhere. You can go
- 9:53Speaker 1: and be a star in college. If you're a backup
- 9:56Speaker 1: quarterback and you get fired, you're probably not getting much.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And then also it's the runway, like where are you
- 10:01Speaker 1: going to next? You're gonna be a backup if maybe
- 10:04Speaker 1: on another team, and how big is that contract? Real
- 10:07Speaker 1: you lose, you lose. I'm just saying that's another option hunter.
- 10:11Speaker 1: What there's so little pressure, Like being a kicker would
- 10:13Speaker 1: be hard because you have to like share the game
- 10:15Speaker 1: winning kicks. Punter is like if you shank a punter,
- 10:17Speaker 1: everyone's like, oh no, but it's not that big of
- 10:20Speaker 1: a deal. You get a nice paycheck, steady job. I
- 10:24Speaker 1: don't know I'd like to be a punter. I never
- 10:25Speaker 1: could you steal like with the like I'm thinking about
- 10:28Speaker 1: more so like the amount of money that you were
- 10:30Speaker 1: getting as well. He doesn't have to do yes, it is.
- 10:32Speaker 1: He doesn't have to do anything. So you're you're trying
- 10:34Speaker 1: to like come up with a ratio of difficulty of job,
- 10:39Speaker 1: pay scale, difficulty of job, how hard you're working. If
- 10:44Speaker 1: Bruce areas oh my god, guys, without a doubt. Okay,
- 10:49Speaker 1: if you have to listening to this pot and you
- 10:50Speaker 1: disagree with me, or you think that there's another job
- 10:52Speaker 1: that I'm missing, please let us um. Okay. The hardest
- 10:55Speaker 1: job I think easily is being a quarterback. Right now,
- 10:58Speaker 1: Brussell Wilson said, built for the good times and the
- 11:03Speaker 1: tough times. He's just being absolutely destroyed by the media
- 11:07Speaker 1: right now. They're three, they're two in three, just absolutely coocked,
- 11:12Speaker 1: my guy. Another one that I love to see or
- 11:16Speaker 1: I hated to see. Somebody asked Ron Rivera, why are
- 11:19Speaker 1: other nfcast teams further ahead of Washington right now? And
- 11:22Speaker 1: he blatantly just said quarterbacks. Jerry Jones is like, of
- 11:28Speaker 1: course I want there to be a quarterback controversy between
- 11:30Speaker 1: Cooper Rush and Dak Prescott. Of course I want that.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Why wouldn't I want that? I'd be crazy not to
- 11:34Speaker 1: want that. Meanwhile, Dak is sitting at home, being like what,
- 11:39Speaker 1: like they are just so easy, so quick to throw
- 11:41Speaker 1: you out the door. The entire game is basically, you know,
- 11:45Speaker 1: put on your shoulders unless it comes down to a
- 11:48Speaker 1: kick or something of that sort. Quarterback I think has
- 11:53Speaker 1: to be the hardest job in the NFL, not just
- 11:56Speaker 1: the NFL, I think the hardest job in all of sports. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 1: I agree, And adding to your point, like, look at
- 12:02Speaker 1: Kyler Murray. This guy gets is like an insane athlete,
- 12:05Speaker 1: but doesn't necessarily win every game or make the big plays. Yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 1: we don't know what the coaching scheme is. Kyler Murray's
- 12:12Speaker 1: averaging the lowest yards per attempt of any starting quarterback
- 12:15Speaker 1: this year. Is that scheme is at his fault for
- 12:17Speaker 1: not throwing it deep more. He gets bullied so much
- 12:19Speaker 1: because of the contract thing. Lamar Jackson, a former MVP,
- 12:22Speaker 1: can't get a contract negotiation done like that's but even
- 12:27Speaker 1: it's it's even day to day like you could have
- 12:29Speaker 1: You could be Patrick Mahomes and have a couple of
- 12:31Speaker 1: bad games and people are going to turn on you
- 12:33Speaker 1: so quickly because through last year though, for sure people
- 12:38Speaker 1: people started being like, oh he had a kid, that's why.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Then it because he had a child. People are ruthless.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I get it that quarterbacks come with fame and money
- 12:48Speaker 1: and supermodels and all of the beautiful things, but it
- 12:51Speaker 1: comes with an insane amount of pressure. Football is the
- 12:54Speaker 1: biggest sport in the world. Unless we're in London, than
- 12:57Speaker 1: you're talking about the other kind of football. But NFL
- 13:00Speaker 1: ball is arguably the biggest sport in the entire world.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Everyone has their eyes on the quarterback. It is the
- 13:05Speaker 1: biggest position. You have so much pressure. I think that
- 13:08Speaker 1: is easily the most difficult job. You agree, Yeah, I
- 13:12Speaker 1: think it's even even with Brady and when he was
- 13:14Speaker 1: good and he won all those rings, if he had
- 13:16Speaker 1: like a two game losing streak, Everyone's like, oh, it's
- 13:18Speaker 1: Brady done. And everyone's like, oh is it Brady or
- 13:21Speaker 1: Belichick's like okay, we're sure exact. Also, we think we
- 13:26Speaker 1: have it hard. We like, look at our notifications. Somebody
- 13:28Speaker 1: says like something slightly bad and we're like, oh, I
- 13:33Speaker 1: can't go to work today. Like these guys literally get
- 13:35Speaker 1: yelled at on the field and in their Twitter, social
- 13:38Speaker 1: media all that. Joe Burrow at the delete social media
- 13:40Speaker 1: earlier this year, Geez louise Um Okay, so let us
- 13:44Speaker 1: know if you agree with those things. The hardest and
- 13:47Speaker 1: the easiest job in the NFL, I'm gonna try and
- 13:49Speaker 1: become a head coach and get fired. I don't know
- 13:50Speaker 1: about you. Guys, don't go anywhere. We are picking some
- 13:53Speaker 1: games after the break get tonight. Do we have to
- 14:05Speaker 1: talk about our picks? Record? Yeah? Can you read them
- 14:08Speaker 1: that I missed? I read guys, in a couple of weeks.
- 14:12Speaker 1: We should talk about two weeks ago because Rachel and
- 14:15Speaker 1: I both went six for six. Why would we talk
- 14:17Speaker 1: about two weeks ago? Six murder? I want to pick
- 14:24Speaker 1: the Colts over the Titans. What an idiot? I want
- 14:28Speaker 1: Titans talk about last week? Last week we didn't do.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So let's not talk about last week. Okay, fine, whatever?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Moh on twenty and ten again, that's pretty good. What
- 14:41Speaker 1: do you want to chitching sound effect? Because you are up,
- 14:44Speaker 1: you think you have free random jail jail for having
- 14:48Speaker 1: good picks, for having good pick A couple of good
- 14:51Speaker 1: picks landed you, right, jail, miss this. I did thought
- 14:56Speaker 1: about it every single day when I was gone. Just
- 15:00Speaker 1: say you're really great too. Nineteen and eleven and I
- 15:04Speaker 1: don't think we need to talk about mine. It's a
- 15:05Speaker 1: long season, you know, professional betters barely hit fifty five percent.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I'm fifteen and fifteen. It's fine to it for a living.
- 15:11Speaker 1: It's fine. I've been busy. One game back from being
- 15:12Speaker 1: a professional. I'm diving back in IM twenty and ten
- 15:15Speaker 1: for at Home. Yeah, well, I did say, Rachel. I
- 15:18Speaker 1: did say that I think we should put him back
- 15:19Speaker 1: in jail. You're in jail, but we're gonna keep you
- 15:22Speaker 1: in jail for the rest of the show. Act okay, curse.
- 15:27Speaker 1: These are a couple of my favorite games that I'm
- 15:29Speaker 1: looking forward to this week. Jets at Packers. Packers are
- 15:31Speaker 1: favored by six and a half. I have the Packers
- 15:35Speaker 1: only winning by three. I have twenty seven twenty four.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I think that the Jets cover. The Jets are kind
- 15:42Speaker 1: of fun right now, you guys, they are kind of fun.
- 15:45Speaker 1: They're both three and two. We've seen now that the
- 15:48Speaker 1: Packers can absolutely fall apart. You know what's so cool? Um.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I can't remember who it was, but somebody came by.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I was on the sideline right before the game started,
- 15:57Speaker 1: and apparently Aaron Rogers loves London, and so he was
- 16:02Speaker 1: telling somebody literally that was like right there that he
- 16:04Speaker 1: was so excited. He's like unthrowing five touchdowns today, and
- 16:07Speaker 1: then it started happening, like they came out really strong
- 16:10Speaker 1: and they were balling out, and I was like, how
- 16:12Speaker 1: cool is it that Aaron Rodgers just like I love
- 16:15Speaker 1: being in London, I'm throwing five today like sick. And
- 16:19Speaker 1: then the Giants just like Claude their way back. So
- 16:25Speaker 1: I'm going a Packers win here, but I think that
- 16:27Speaker 1: the Jets keep it close and cover. What do you
- 16:29Speaker 1: guys think? I agree? I don't. I can't see the
- 16:32Speaker 1: Packers law anybody out right now. And Rogers is a
- 16:35Speaker 1: thumb thing. He said, it's fine, but that team hasn't
- 16:39Speaker 1: really shown that they can do anything crazy and the
- 16:41Speaker 1: Jets are a funny yeah six and a half. I
- 16:45Speaker 1: think the Jets cover and they could win this game,
- 16:48Speaker 1: right the Jets. Everyone's like all over the Jets, like, oh,
- 16:53Speaker 1: you beat up on a third string quarterback rookie. Oh
- 16:55Speaker 1: you beat up on a sixth round rookie in Miami.
- 16:57Speaker 1: But like they still put forty points on the Dolphin.
- 17:00Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with Skyler Thompson playing quarterback.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I don't know if the Packers can stop the run.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Bruce Hall looks really good. Garrett Wilson looks good. Corey
- 17:09Speaker 1: Davis looks good. If the Jets win this week, I
- 17:11Speaker 1: would like to invite Dan Hansens on the pod on
- 17:14Speaker 1: Monday if he's available. We need to figure that out
- 17:16Speaker 1: because I feel like he is just going to be
- 17:18Speaker 1: a giggly little girl, and I want to see that.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I have a pretty decent relationship with Dan. Okay, we'll
- 17:23Speaker 1: put it in a good word for us. Can you
- 17:24Speaker 1: imagine Rodgers losing two New York teams back today? I
- 17:27Speaker 1: would love that. I love that story. We would talk
- 17:29Speaker 1: about it all week. Next week it's gonna be great. Okay.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Next step, Ravens at Giants, the other New York team. Uh,
- 17:36Speaker 1: the Ravens are favored by five and a half. Giants
- 17:38Speaker 1: are at home. Guys, I don't I don't want Brad Clebba.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I remember Brian Dable. I shook his hand. All right,
- 17:45Speaker 1: we're besties now, great handshake, firm as hell. See gosh.
- 17:49Speaker 1: As soon as I was just like I had heard
- 17:51Speaker 1: the thing about Rogers wanting to throw five, I was like, oh,
- 17:53Speaker 1: Packers are blowing out the Giants Brian Dable Moses on overshakes.
- 17:56Speaker 1: My hand, I was like, oh, the Giants are gonna win.
- 17:58Speaker 1: The Giants are winning, was gay? Sure enough? They did, uh,
- 18:02Speaker 1: same as as the Jets. I e sneakily kind of
- 18:06Speaker 1: like the Giants. Right now. I have the Giants winning
- 18:08Speaker 1: by one, twenty one to twenty. They got heart. Daniel
- 18:15Speaker 1: Jones seems to be I know he's got health stuff
- 18:18Speaker 1: seems to be okay, right. They beat the backers in London,
- 18:23Speaker 1: so hopefully as he gets more time under his belt,
- 18:25Speaker 1: hill heel up even more. Wink Martindale used to be
- 18:29Speaker 1: the Ravens defensive coordinator. I feel like he's gonna know
- 18:31Speaker 1: a little something something about our guy Lamar Jackson. Hopefully
- 18:35Speaker 1: they'll be able to stop him a little bit. I'm
- 18:37Speaker 1: going Giants twenty one twenty. What do you like? I'm
- 18:40Speaker 1: going I'm in the Ravens to cover win. Big Ravens win.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Big Ravens. Haven't won big at all this year by
- 18:46Speaker 1: a touchdown? Okay, Huh's Ravens have some issues on defense.
- 18:51Speaker 1: They've blown two huge leads this mohun and I mean
- 18:57Speaker 1: everyone thinks the Giants are like a bad four and
- 18:59Speaker 1: one but they looked. I mean, these comebacks they have
- 19:03Speaker 1: been doing this tasty. They consistently make the right adjustments
- 19:07Speaker 1: at halftime. They did it against the Titans, they did
- 19:10Speaker 1: it against the Packers last week. They've done it other
- 19:13Speaker 1: times this year that I think. I mean, They're only
- 19:15Speaker 1: loss was to the Cowboys, who's like defensive line just
- 19:17Speaker 1: wrecked their their offensive line. I don't think the Ravens
- 19:20Speaker 1: defensive line is going to do that. Also, did you
- 19:22Speaker 1: see Dabo after the game? Like what? God? God just
- 19:26Speaker 1: so fired up? Man? I love that guy. Okay, arguably
- 19:31Speaker 1: the I think that this is going to be the
- 19:33Speaker 1: best game of the week. Bills at Chiefs. How this
- 19:35Speaker 1: wasn't the Sunday night game is kind of beyond me
- 19:40Speaker 1: the coin flip game. I am loving this. I have
- 19:44Speaker 1: Bills big, i have Bills thirty two to twenty seven.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I've got the Chiefs are at home and they're two
- 19:53Speaker 1: and a half point underdogs. This is a big revenge game. Okay,
- 19:57Speaker 1: Bills have just been thinking about this game day. It'd
- 20:00Speaker 1: have been the ones to be able to come back
- 20:01Speaker 1: on the field and get that win in the playoffs
- 20:04Speaker 1: last year. Um, I know that Travis Kelsey went off
- 20:08Speaker 1: last week and absolutely snapped against the Raiders. But listen
- 20:12Speaker 1: to this. Okay, Bill's defense we get a research pack
- 20:15Speaker 1: in every single week. Second in total defense, first in scoring,
- 20:19Speaker 1: second in rushing, fourth in passing, first in turnovers. Okay,
- 20:24Speaker 1: the Bill's defense is absolutely going to shut down the
- 20:27Speaker 1: Chiefs offense. And then on the other side, Josh Allen
- 20:30Speaker 1: versus the Chief's bottom ten pass defense. Let's go. Let's
- 20:35Speaker 1: see some points on the board. I'm going Bill's big
- 20:39Speaker 1: here those what do you like? I want? I wanted
- 20:41Speaker 1: to be a shootout too, but I gotta go with
- 20:43Speaker 1: the Chiefs. This is the first time that Mahomes has
- 20:46Speaker 1: ever been ever been a home underdog in his career.
- 20:49Speaker 1: They can't keep on. They can't keep on doing that
- 20:51Speaker 1: like clawing back. They lost the Colts, which was a
- 20:54Speaker 1: really weird game that was like a special team's issue, Harrison,
- 20:57Speaker 1: Butker's expected to be back for this game. So those
- 20:59Speaker 1: special teams issues you'd hope are fixed. Are you going
- 21:02Speaker 1: Chiefs as well? My hot take is that the revenge
- 21:05Speaker 1: game is an overrated overplaying that maybe impacts the players
- 21:11Speaker 1: when they're in their pregame huddle and they're like, remember
- 21:13Speaker 1: last year. But then once they get on the field
- 21:15Speaker 1: and they're like a few plays into the game, they're
- 21:17Speaker 1: just playing football again. And the revenge thing is, Yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 1: they're playing really good defense, is what their plays are
- 21:22Speaker 1: playing really good defense, and they're getting healthier. Jordan Poyer
- 21:25Speaker 1: practice again this week Chiefs. But I am picking the
- 21:29Speaker 1: Chiefs because I think you don't disrespect Patrick Mahomes and
- 21:32Speaker 1: make him a home underdog against anybody. I agree the guys.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Tras Kelson's got a little bit older on maybe turn
- 21:41Speaker 1: around do it again what I'm promised. I could see
- 21:43Speaker 1: that Bill's winning on like a last second field goal
- 21:45Speaker 1: by one or two points, which means it Chiefs cover
- 21:48Speaker 1: too an, you know what, I did have this score
- 21:50Speaker 1: way closer. I'd like thirty two thirty one. But then
- 21:52Speaker 1: I started looking into more of like the stats today
- 21:55Speaker 1: in our research packet, and just like looking at how
- 21:56Speaker 1: incredible this defense has been playing, and I decided to
- 21:59Speaker 1: have a bigger, big win. Okay, and then finally Cowboys
- 22:02Speaker 1: at Eagles. Eagles are favored by four and a half
- 22:04Speaker 1: at home. Listen, I am loving the Cooper rush storyline.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Although I love Dak Prescott, I'm loving that he's undefeated.
- 22:09Speaker 1: It is very fun. You know what else is more
- 22:11Speaker 1: fun the Eagles being completely undefeated. I am all over Philly.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I think that they dominate this game. Um, I'm going
- 22:22Speaker 1: Eagles yet to add on your Cooper rush point. He
- 22:25Speaker 1: has no turnovers and all of his starts this season,
- 22:28Speaker 1: and the Eagles have had one takeaway in every game.
- 22:30Speaker 1: So it's kind of immovable object, unstoppable for a situation,
- 22:34Speaker 1: which is pretty cool. Like, like I said, we get
- 22:36Speaker 1: these research packets right, and there's like a lot of
- 22:38Speaker 1: color coding. If a team is really good in an
- 22:40Speaker 1: area offense, defense, all of their number numbers will be
- 22:43Speaker 1: in green. Oh that means like they're in the top
- 22:45Speaker 1: ten echelon of you know the league literally in offense
- 22:50Speaker 1: and defense. Just green green, green, green, green, green green.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Like this team is so good. Where what do you
- 22:55Speaker 1: I didn't even give a pick yet, what are you
- 22:56Speaker 1: doing there? Even? Sorry to cut you off. I'm join
- 23:00Speaker 1: the Eagles because if the Eagles can't be the Cowboys
- 23:03Speaker 1: without Deck, they're never gonna beat the Cowboys. So I'm
- 23:06Speaker 1: saying the Eagles are gonna cover. Okay, I am struggling
- 23:09Speaker 1: with this game because the Cowboys biggest strength is their
- 23:12Speaker 1: defensive line, but they've been beating up on really bad
- 23:14Speaker 1: offensive lines and there's only like a few good offensive
- 23:18Speaker 1: lines in the whole league, and the Eagles have one
- 23:20Speaker 1: of them. So this is gonna be an interesting test.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Can the Cowboys get pressure on Jalen Hurts That will
- 23:26Speaker 1: be the difference in this game. I do think the
- 23:28Speaker 1: Cowboys keep it close enough even if they can't win,
- 23:31Speaker 1: that this will not be a five point win by
- 23:34Speaker 1: the Eagles. Maybe a three point win by the Eagles,
- 23:37Speaker 1: or maybe the Cowboys do it again and then he
- 23:39Speaker 1: surprise people and they go beat Philly in Philly with
- 23:41Speaker 1: their backup quarterback. I'm taking the Cowboys to cover the spread,
- 23:45Speaker 1: but I do think the Eagles probably win the game.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Have Eagles twenty seven twenty four. Do you guys think
- 23:50Speaker 1: that this is a good Sunday night football game or
- 23:52Speaker 1: do you which you have rathered Bill's Chiefs in this
- 23:55Speaker 1: place because this game is I do think it's gonna
- 23:57Speaker 1: be really good. It's a great game for Sunday night football.
- 23:59Speaker 1: But it is weird that they picked the same week,
- 24:02Speaker 1: like they could have put Bill's Chiefs Sunday Night Football
- 24:05Speaker 1: a different week. Like one of those weeks we had
- 24:07Speaker 1: I don't know, the Broncos or something, which is every week,
- 24:09Speaker 1: literally four of six weeks this year we've had Broncos
- 24:13Speaker 1: in primetime. Yeah, what is going on Monday? Why they
- 24:15Speaker 1: just thought that was gonna cook? Yeah, Okay, coming up,
- 24:19Speaker 1: We've got Mohan's Minute. Babies, it don't go anywhere. Okay,
- 24:31Speaker 1: it is time for the best part of the show.
- 24:34Speaker 1: It is Mohan's Minute. Guys. You need to know that
- 24:36Speaker 1: Mohans had a day, so I know he's already fired up.
- 24:41Speaker 1: What is this? What are you thinking? What are you feeling?
- 24:44Speaker 1: All right? So I'm driving running some arn's had my
- 24:47Speaker 1: windows open, and I looked to my right and I
- 24:50Speaker 1: looked at my left and I'm like, wait a minute,
- 24:52Speaker 1: what's that? And there's bird poop on the inside of
- 24:55Speaker 1: my car by where like the door handle is absolute sniper,
- 24:59Speaker 1: So can you explain to me the angle of how
- 25:03Speaker 1: the bird did this? Like what's the like the trajectory,
- 25:07Speaker 1: like what needed to happen? NFL dot Com slash NFL
- 25:10Speaker 1: channel watch this video show so you can see what
- 25:14Speaker 1: we are talking inside by where the door handle in
- 25:17Speaker 1: the does this still count as good luck? You think,
- 25:20Speaker 1: because if you get pooped on, you're supposed to take
- 25:22Speaker 1: it as good luck. This is it was trying to
- 25:25Speaker 1: get you. It was trying to get it was trying
- 25:27Speaker 1: to bless your day. Have interview. How is that good luck?
- 25:31Speaker 1: I think it's I think you just tell people that
- 25:33Speaker 1: to make you know about it. That's very bad luck
- 25:36Speaker 1: for that to ever happen to you. It is bad
- 25:38Speaker 1: You're supposed I think it's supposed to future good luck,
- 25:41Speaker 1: like you had such bad luck that now it'll turn around.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I think it's just something people say to make you
- 25:45Speaker 1: feel better about being pooped on by a bird. But
- 25:47Speaker 1: can you explain the inside of the car. I don't know, man,
- 25:51Speaker 1: about getting to bless you and they were trying to
- 25:53Speaker 1: get you and you would get over effect and then
- 25:56Speaker 1: maybe somewhere Crazy to me is that you didn't realized
- 26:00Speaker 1: when it happened, Like how long has that been sitting
- 26:03Speaker 1: there for when I was driving? Yeah, because I would
- 26:06Speaker 1: have noticed when I got in the car. But I
- 26:08Speaker 1: don't know. That's a little bit of a concern to me,
- 26:09Speaker 1: Like if I'm driving, I am very locked in on
- 26:12Speaker 1: my surroundings and what's going on. A bird fully pooped
- 26:15Speaker 1: on the inside of your door, away from your face?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Are you texting podcast in the car? I have been
- 26:29Speaker 1: pop and my mom said that is good luck, and
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'll say, you know, I will take it. I've been
- 26:36Speaker 1: pooped on twice, I think, once in my hair and
- 26:38Speaker 1: then once on my leg. It opens. Yeah, I've never
- 26:43Speaker 1: That's my closest in interaction with bird poop. Oh, I'm
- 26:46Speaker 1: so sorry that happened to you. Did you clean it? Offers?
- 26:48Speaker 1: It still sitting on your car? I clean it off.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I'm not a monster, but it is crazy, like that
- 26:52Speaker 1: was fully dried poop and you didn't realize until when
- 26:55Speaker 1: you got out of the car and you were like, hey,
- 26:56Speaker 1: what's that. No, I was in the car and I
- 26:59Speaker 1: didn't do it. Well. I don't know. He should stay
- 27:02Speaker 1: in jail for all of it. I just don't we
- 27:04Speaker 1: need like a blood sweater took them out for cleaning
- 27:06Speaker 1: up the bird poops. Say, okay, you coming, Okay, let
- 27:08Speaker 1: me ask you this question. Mohun. You're used to this
- 27:10Speaker 1: because anybody that's friends with me knows that they received
- 27:13Speaker 1: one of these questions about once a day. I really
- 27:15Speaker 1: like to do would you rather? So? I come up
- 27:17Speaker 1: with the two worst things, and I make you choose
- 27:20Speaker 1: and like, explain to me why you want to choose them.
- 27:22Speaker 1: So here's your Would you rather that I've already prepared
- 27:24Speaker 1: for you? Would you rather get pooped on once a day?
- 27:27Speaker 1: Buy a bird? Or I saw these a lot in
- 27:30Speaker 1: London and they're freaking terrible. You have to wear the
- 27:33Speaker 1: toe shoes every single day, no matter the occasion, weddings, funerals,
- 27:39Speaker 1: prom if you're going to the Oscars because you made
- 27:42Speaker 1: a movie, you have to wear the toe shoes every
- 27:44Speaker 1: single day. Get pooped on by a bird every single day.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Wear the toe shoes every single day. Is the bird
- 27:48Speaker 1: pooping happening at the same time every day? Uh No, No,
- 27:52Speaker 1: you don't know what's coming, wouldn't I would do the shoes.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Are you in toe shoes at your wedding? Yeah? I
- 27:57Speaker 1: just wouldn't. I don't want the factor of a not
- 28:00Speaker 1: knowing when it's coming. And it can be at any
- 28:01Speaker 1: time and you stay inside, but it still manages to
- 28:06Speaker 1: come in your window, inside my car, can get me
- 28:08Speaker 1: in my apartment for sure. You just your wife like, hey,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I did this so I wouldn't get pooped on every day,
- 28:15Speaker 1: And she'd be like, oh, we mean we have to
- 28:17Speaker 1: take photos of this. You're gonna get your ass pooped on?
- 28:19Speaker 1: What would you? What would you choose this same? Here's
- 28:23Speaker 1: the question. Can I wear the toe shoes inside larger
- 28:26Speaker 1: normal shoes? No? Literally, anytime you're wearing shoes, sandals, everything
- 28:31Speaker 1: has to be toe shoes. Gosh, I guess we're not
- 28:34Speaker 1: getting a sponsorship from can you. I would have to
- 28:37Speaker 1: wear I just don't want to get pooped on. Ever,
- 28:40Speaker 1: I would have to wear a punch. I would get
- 28:42Speaker 1: pooped on for shit, your hair, that's no problem, your
- 28:48Speaker 1: poor bangs. I would be ready. I would have a
- 28:51Speaker 1: little toiletry kit in my bag at all times for
- 28:53Speaker 1: when the poop happens. I am not wearing toe shoes
- 28:57Speaker 1: to my wedding or anywhere. I don't care. They're hideous
- 29:01Speaker 1: and they scare me. Ah, that's that's a hot take. No,
- 29:05Speaker 1: not happening. Viewers, let us know if you want to
- 29:08Speaker 1: get pooped on every single day or where to shoes?
- 29:09Speaker 1: Thinking great Mohan's minute. Yeah, I'm sorry that that happened
- 29:14Speaker 1: to you. Thank you for sharing my experience. Yeah, no problem, okay.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Final thing, the best thing that I heard or saw
- 29:22Speaker 1: all week based guys. I'm kind of obsessed with this story.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Apparently there was a ping pong table that the Dolphins
- 29:31Speaker 1: team loved to play, okay, and then the team captains
- 29:35Speaker 1: removed it. This is what Cameron Wolf tweeted. Tyree Kill
- 29:38Speaker 1: and the Dolphins team captains decided to take the ping
- 29:40Speaker 1: pong table out of the locker room because they've had
- 29:43Speaker 1: a dicey couple of weeks. Mike McDaniel said, players decided
- 29:46Speaker 1: they wanted more time investment for preparation on Sunday, so
- 29:50Speaker 1: they did something about it. Ping pong table was a
- 29:52Speaker 1: new additionist oh, okay, and then David between the Tyree
- 29:57Speaker 1: Khill says today the real rains on the ping pong
- 29:59Speaker 1: table is the Dolphins locker room, as he's working on
- 30:01Speaker 1: getting a new custom designed Dolphins table to replace it.
- 30:04Speaker 1: This is a lie, Yeah, this is a lie. Wait
- 30:07Speaker 1: read the whole tweet. He said the old one had
- 30:11Speaker 1: gotten bent. The player tournament is still on, according to Hill,
- 30:16Speaker 1: a player of tournament, listen, I think that they were
- 30:20Speaker 1: found out that they were playing too much ping pong, okay,
- 30:24Speaker 1: and then they said we need to remove the ping
- 30:26Speaker 1: pong table because we're losing, and then they got embarrassed
- 30:29Speaker 1: at how immature that sounded. So then they had to
- 30:31Speaker 1: create a new story about it being bent, like no,
- 30:34Speaker 1: so is a new table not going to come? And
- 30:36Speaker 1: then they're not going to be embarrassed. Maybe this is
- 30:38Speaker 1: a case for benched buzz. Maybe we need to stay
- 30:41Speaker 1: to get some reporters. We need to stay. We need
- 30:43Speaker 1: to get Cameron Wolf to remain on the ground and
- 30:46Speaker 1: he can give us some updates as we go on. Honestly,
- 30:48Speaker 1: this story is so bizarre and intriguing to me because
- 30:52Speaker 1: of the conflicting nature of these like why would Mike
- 30:55Speaker 1: McDaniel say that the players removed it if that wasn't true?
- 31:00Speaker 1: But then why would Tyree kill dispute I think it
- 31:02Speaker 1: is true? Doesn't make any say we were playing too
- 31:04Speaker 1: much ping pong and Mike McDaniel was like, Captain's you
- 31:07Speaker 1: better take this out of here and start paying attention
- 31:09Speaker 1: to football, And then you know that leaked out and
- 31:12Speaker 1: then Pr is like, oh my god, this is a
- 31:13Speaker 1: pr nightmare. But why is it a pre nimber? That's
- 31:16Speaker 1: like a good on you, captains. It seems so immature
- 31:19Speaker 1: that they had to remove a ping pong table. It's
- 31:22Speaker 1: given Kyler Murray playing call of Dudy. Maybe McDaniels getting
- 31:26Speaker 1: his ass into him. I don't know. Maybe Mike McDaniels,
- 31:29Speaker 1: the one with the dorky voice. I'm just kidding. I
- 31:34Speaker 1: respect him a lot. Yeah, he totally. But the Dolphins
- 31:36Speaker 1: have been the story after story after story. I know
- 31:39Speaker 1: when it sucks because we were they were just it's
- 31:42Speaker 1: just all all a bummer, yeah, all a full bummer. Um. Okay.
- 31:46Speaker 1: And then the other thing that I love to hear.
- 31:47Speaker 1: We were talking about Jimmy g earlier. Um, Jimmy g
- 31:51Speaker 1: on his crazy situation with the forty nine ers. One
- 31:54Speaker 1: day this will be a hell of a movie. That's
- 31:57Speaker 1: for damn sure. Jimmy Gum. Your life was a hell
- 32:01Speaker 1: of a movie before this year happened. Okay, I'll tell
- 32:05Speaker 1: you that. The headlines, I think I know you're hitting.
- 32:09Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking about? The Patriots. I would
- 32:13Speaker 1: watch that. Who would you want playing him in the movie?
- 32:17Speaker 1: Oh my god, hold on, you can't just spring this
- 32:19Speaker 1: on me. This is difficult question, teller. Okay, let me
- 32:25Speaker 1: let me go back to the running board. Austin Butler, No, no, prey,
- 32:30Speaker 1: I'm giving a pretty men pretty? What are you talking about?
- 32:34Speaker 1: I don't know what carcident? His face scratched. I was
- 32:36Speaker 1: very handsome. What's no cards? He got to a car accident?
- 32:39Speaker 1: Oh jeez, sorry, his face got all scratched. He's very handsome.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I don't all right. Who would you guys shoot Josh Dumel. Yes,
- 32:47Speaker 1: he's Henry Cabell. He's a pretty Do you mean someone
- 32:57Speaker 1: very Italian looking? Dark guy's dark hair. I feel like
