- 0:33Speaker 2: I'm from Augusta, Georgia.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Augusta, My bad getting me together? Now? Is there certain
- 0:38Speaker 1: parts of the Augusta that you have to represent?
- 0:40Speaker 2: No, so I actually represent a small little town called Wrens, Georgia.
- 0:44Speaker 2: What Wrens, Georgia. If you blink you might miss it.
- 0:47Speaker 2: That's how small. What's the population? I don't know. I
- 0:51Speaker 2: ain't getting into all that, but it's real small. You
- 0:53Speaker 2: cannot date there because you might be your cousin. Oh my,
- 0:55Speaker 2: it's small. It's like that, oh lost not a country.
- 0:58Speaker 2: But I was raised overseas.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Raised overseas, Like, let's talk about it overseas.
- 1:05Speaker 2: My dad was in the military Air Force. Shout out
- 1:07Speaker 2: to all my betters, thank you for y'all service. And
- 1:10Speaker 2: so I lived in England, Germany, Japan.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It's damn so you were very cultured.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I am. I like to call myself like, you know,
- 1:16Speaker 2: world it's a launcher worldwide, right because I.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Did see that on youta. What type of food you like?
- 1:21Speaker 2: The good food? It just got to be good, good
- 1:24Speaker 2: for the soul.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yeah, because you know, living in all these places, you
- 1:27Speaker 3: had a good I'm pretty sure your food palette is
- 1:30Speaker 3: a wide variety.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I do. I eat a lot of pretty much anything.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I'm open to trying anything. If it tastes good, I'm eating.
- 1:36Speaker 2: But if not, I'm gonna tell you, nah, I tried it.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I'm just not gonna eat it again.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Okay, so let's let's talk about let's do a deep
- 1:43Speaker 3: dive into the music. How long have we been doing music?
- 1:47Speaker 2: Okay, so professionally doing music, like taking it serious. I've
- 1:52Speaker 2: been doing it for about a year and a half.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Prior to that, I did music as a kid, just
- 1:56Speaker 2: chorus singing in church things like that.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Okay, what made what made you start getting into music?
- 2:02Speaker 2: So like taking it serious?
- 2:03Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yes, so I had did. I did a cover to Tink.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I was going through like a breakup, right, so you know,
- 2:08Speaker 2: be me heart broke my heart shattered it to pieces, right,
- 2:12Speaker 2: So I did a cover to Tink and then a
- 2:14Speaker 2: local producer in Virginia had reached out to me, like
- 2:16Speaker 2: you should get into the studio. So I waited like
- 2:18Speaker 2: two years, you know, just off of fear, and I
- 2:21Speaker 2: finally went to the studio. You know, I'm like, Okay,
- 2:22Speaker 2: this is cool. Like I'm able to express myself and
- 2:25Speaker 2: just like have a good sess like therapeutic low key.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So that's what started making me just go for it.
- 2:29Speaker 2: And then it's like I I enjoyed being in front
- 2:30Speaker 2: of the camera. It's like I'm meant to be there.
- 2:33Speaker 2: God put me there for a reasons.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:35Speaker 3: So now, before you said you sang in church, what
- 2:39Speaker 3: else did you do professionally?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Did you do anything else? Like did you have a
- 2:42Speaker 1: day job before you started Thomas.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I used to run a restaurant called Prime to fifty five.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I was, you know, a bartender. I was a dancer okay,
- 2:51Speaker 2: and I worked insurance.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Okay. Wow, you got three.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Jobs, not all at the same So, like, at first
- 2:59Speaker 2: I was doing insurance and then I started you know,
- 3:01Speaker 2: it was just a nine to five. Wasn't cutting it.
- 3:03Speaker 2: So I started dancing and make some extra money. Then,
- 3:06Speaker 2: you know, the money was coming in fast, so I
- 3:07Speaker 2: stopped doing that, Like you know, I'm just why.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Did you stop?
- 3:10Speaker 3: I like these stories because it's very interesting because people,
- 3:14Speaker 3: more people.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Do this than you know.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's because okay, So, like you know, you start
- 3:18Speaker 2: making the money. It's fast money. So you're making like okay,
- 3:20Speaker 2: I made I made two thousand dollars in one night
- 3:24Speaker 2: just from dancing. Yeah you can, you can. I mean,
- 3:26Speaker 2: it depends on the dancers location.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Carry on, carry on, I carry on, you know what,
- 3:35Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 3:36Speaker 2: But yeah, so I was just like, you know what,
- 3:38Speaker 2: my manager she tripping, like she micromanaging. I don't want
- 3:41Speaker 2: to do it this anymore. I'm going to just do this. So,
- 3:43Speaker 2: you know, I started dancing. I dance full time, like
- 3:45Speaker 2: just dancing for about a year and a half, two years,
- 3:49Speaker 2: and then I started bartending. It's just like something fun
- 3:51Speaker 2: and it's like in a form I want to say,
- 3:53Speaker 2: it's still working in the club, still a hustle. So
- 3:55Speaker 2: started bartending, started learning the restaurant business, and I got
- 3:58Speaker 2: promoted to running the restaurant.
- 3:59Speaker 3: So that's very smart. Thank you for saying that, because
- 4:03Speaker 3: a lot of people don't necessarily have a plan. This
- 4:07Speaker 3: also lets me know that you're very smart. You're paying
- 4:10Speaker 3: attention to your surroundings. Because you transition from dancing to bartending.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Why it just like I mean, so that you don't
- 4:20Speaker 2: have to move around as much with bartender, right, and
- 4:22Speaker 2: then you learn your clothes on. Yeah, I got your
- 4:25Speaker 2: clothes on. That that's the main part. You got your
- 4:28Speaker 2: clothes on. You gotta shake your tail, so yeah, and
- 4:35Speaker 2: then like I fell in love with bartending because I
- 4:37Speaker 2: just got to learn so much. Like I didn't just
- 4:39Speaker 2: work in a club bartend. I worked in the restaurant setting,
- 4:41Speaker 2: like an upscale restaurant, so we actually made handcrafted cocktails,
- 4:44Speaker 2: so I got Yes, I got to learn how to
- 4:46Speaker 2: be like a chemistist with the with the with.
- 4:48Speaker 1: The fluids, without with the alcohol. And it's deal, because
- 4:51Speaker 1: we're gonna do it. We're gonna do an episode with
- 4:55Speaker 1: nothing but bartenders.
- 4:57Speaker 3: We're gonna do one with bottle girls. Obviously, we're gonna
- 4:59Speaker 3: do one with the ladies dances. But I'm happy that
- 5:02Speaker 3: you're saying all these things because it's gonna lead me
- 5:04Speaker 3: to the next question. So now you're bartending. What leads
- 5:09Speaker 3: you into saying I want to start my own was
- 5:11Speaker 3: the restaurant?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't my restaurant. I was just managing at
- 5:14Speaker 2: the same restaurant that I was bartending. This is still
- 5:16Speaker 2: good though, Yeah it is because I mean, like I said,
- 5:18Speaker 2: I started off as a bartender all the time.
- 5:22Speaker 1: So most people don't do that.
- 5:23Speaker 2: But that's important. You can't be the same person today
- 5:26Speaker 2: that you were five years ago and the person you
- 5:27Speaker 2: are today.
- 5:28Speaker 4: To say easier to say what made you? Like what
- 5:32Speaker 4: made you leave the fast money? Because I feel like
- 5:34Speaker 4: that's the hardest thing to do, especially when people are
- 5:36Speaker 4: dancing making that type of money in one night.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Okay, So for me, it's like I I really wasn't
- 5:41Speaker 2: supposed to be there, so like that wasn't what I
- 5:44Speaker 2: really wanted to do. I just did it, Like honestly,
- 5:46Speaker 2: I did it out of spite because my son's dad
- 5:48Speaker 2: was dealing with like he was messing with strippers on me,
- 5:50Speaker 2: so I'm like, I need extra money, so you like strippers,
- 5:54Speaker 2: And then it just kind of like took off from me,
- 5:56Speaker 2: Like I didn't. I didn't think I was gonna be
- 5:57Speaker 2: leave money.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It did.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It made him real mad. He don't like dances, no more.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Experience.
- 6:09Speaker 2: But yeah, so it actually like it took off me.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I didn't think like, oh, I would go into dancing
- 6:13Speaker 2: and I would get like I don't want to say fans,
- 6:15Speaker 2: but like customers, people that actually came to the club
- 6:17Speaker 2: just for me. So once it became that, and then
- 6:20Speaker 2: people started to reaching out to me from like Tennessee, Miami.
- 6:23Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I came and danced at KOD in Atlanta before, so
- 6:26Speaker 2: like people started to reaching out to me just from Instagram,
- 6:28Speaker 2: not even knowing me. Not really your dancing name Ley London.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Oh he was real mad.
- 6:37Speaker 2: So yeah, that was my dance name London because you
- 6:39Speaker 2: lived in London. I had. You know, it's a process
- 6:45Speaker 2: of being a dancer. You have to come up with
- 6:46Speaker 2: a name that you know. And I didn't want nothing
- 6:49Speaker 2: regular like Envy or Diamond. Nothing's wrong with those, but
- 6:53Speaker 2: I wanted something a little bit that's fine, thank you.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I didn't. I thought about Indio. My favorite color it's blue,
- 7:04Speaker 2: So I was like indigover and I'm like no, like,
- 7:07Speaker 2: because you know, on our line.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Of work, we have to work at strip clubs too.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It was a pointed time. Now I know plenty, but
- 7:19Speaker 1: I've never heard, Yeah, I've never heard. I've never heard
- 7:23Speaker 1: of a lay London though. That's fire.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I'm sure you heard of a London,
- 7:26Speaker 2: but not a lay London.
- 7:27Speaker 1: This is true.
- 7:27Speaker 2: And only there we go.
- 7:28Speaker 1: So you managing the bar or the restaurant, restaurant?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Now what? Okay? So how I got into the restaurant
- 7:37Speaker 2: was I actually had already started working on artists development,
- 7:40Speaker 2: working on my music. So I had to learn to
- 7:42Speaker 2: separate because where in Virginia or and I think period
- 7:45Speaker 2: as an artist in being a dancer, coming from that world.
- 7:47Speaker 2: So you're dancing where I was dancing in Virginia, That's
- 7:50Speaker 2: where I was located, dancing full time there, traveling, so
- 7:54Speaker 2: like it's people don't take you serious if you're trying
- 7:57Speaker 2: to be an artist. They just be so in infactuated
- 8:00Speaker 2: with you being a dancer. Sometimes they have a hard
- 8:02Speaker 2: time with you, know you growing. So like my first
- 8:04Speaker 2: year doing music, it's kind of been like proving myself,
- 8:07Speaker 2: like I'm more than just shaking my ass, I'm more
- 8:10Speaker 2: than just being a dancer, Like I have talents, I
- 8:12Speaker 2: have a brain. I'm a brand type of thing like that.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So that's what I've been doing and that's what I
- 8:17Speaker 2: have to do. So I had to take myself out
- 8:18Speaker 2: of that world so I could really focus. I started
- 8:20Speaker 2: getting in the gym because I wanted to really like,
- 8:24Speaker 2: become a healthier version of myself. I had to also
- 8:26Speaker 2: prove to my team, like y'all gonna you know, y'all
- 8:28Speaker 2: invested in me with y'all time and different things like that.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Then I need to prove to y'all that I could
- 8:33Speaker 2: take care of myself. So started in the gym, came
- 8:36Speaker 2: out of the dance world bar attending, evolved, and became
- 8:41Speaker 2: a manager.
- 8:44Speaker 3: It is now time for do you like Me? This
- 8:47Speaker 3: is a segment of the show. When you look at
- 8:49Speaker 3: that camera.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Do you have a crush on somebody? Does someone have
- 8:52Speaker 1: a crush on you? You want to address these things?
- 8:54Speaker 1: You can do this live on a ball alert. Okay,
- 8:58Speaker 1: who's your crush? Who's a lay London? My bad? You
- 9:03Speaker 1: don't have a crush.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I really don't have a crush. My music is my
- 9:05Speaker 2: crush right now. That's my man.
- 9:06Speaker 1: That's what Let me ask you this. Who's your celebrity? Crush,
- 9:11Speaker 1: you got one?
- 9:12Speaker 2: I do. I am Burna boy.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Oh I think that's City City City boy. Then so
- 9:23Speaker 1: you like the afrobeats just like his AfroB.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I like afrobeats. Afrobeats like create that genre that was wild.
- 9:34Speaker 3: So now look, Burnon boy has commented on ball Alert
- 9:37Speaker 3: a time or two.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So if he sees this right now, what you're gonna
- 9:40Speaker 1: tell him? I think he's single? Right, you know, friend
- 9:48Speaker 1: might be friends? Yeah, Burna boys watching this?
- 9:51Speaker 2: UHL, Launcher check it in? What's up Burna boy? Yeah?
- 9:57Speaker 4: About women are fearless, the the women that we've had
- 10:01Speaker 4: the past episodes of Fearless.
- 10:03Speaker 1: But now it's time you gotta be fucked up?
- 10:06Speaker 2: Now?
- 10:06Speaker 3: What are some things that could be a person, place,
- 10:08Speaker 3: or a thing or got me fucked up as a
- 10:10Speaker 3: nown what's some ship that got a lantra fucked up?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Okay, it's the launcher checking in. Anybody that don't believe
- 10:16Speaker 2: in me, ever talked ship on me, counting me out
- 10:18Speaker 2: as an underdog, you've got me fucked up? Yeah?
- 10:21Speaker 4: Okay, saying with a chat that sounds like it was
- 10:25Speaker 4: directed to a person.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Now I heard, I heard you are a mother.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I am just one, just one.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Little boy, how is it being a mom and doing
- 10:37Speaker 3: all these things because you gotta stop and be a
- 10:39Speaker 3: mom always.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I'm a mom one hundred percent of the time. And
- 10:43Speaker 2: my son sees that, Like so when I first started
- 10:46Speaker 2: doing the music and I'm practicing at home and stuff, like,
- 10:48Speaker 2: he'll come up to me. He brings a remote control here,
- 10:51Speaker 2: he already like when you start performing, you're gonna bring
- 10:53Speaker 2: me on stage. The people need to know who I am.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'm like you, right, they gonna know who you are.
- 10:57Speaker 2: But my son is supportive, like I'm a mom first
- 11:00Speaker 2: and foremost all the time, just talking to him kind
- 11:02Speaker 2: of let him know, like I have to travel a
- 11:03Speaker 2: little bit, let them know, like I'm going, I'm trying
- 11:05Speaker 2: to make this happen. This is worked for me, like
- 11:07Speaker 2: I ain't out having fun. It might look like that,
- 11:09Speaker 2: but it's his work. Everything is work, work, work always.
- 11:12Speaker 2: So he comes first.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Okay, how old is your son?
- 11:14Speaker 2: He is six, about to be seven.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Okay, big big seven.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Big Aquarius, fear fourteen.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Battle mine is February sixteenth. Okay, you VALENTI who's your Valentine?
- 11:30Speaker 2: Me? Myself?
- 11:31Speaker 1: And now so you're single?
- 11:32Speaker 2: I am damn?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Is that okay?
- 11:36Speaker 2: Distraction. I'm focused on my.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Talking about friends.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Men.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Well, first of all, you like guys, right I do.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I gotta ask.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Okay, you're right, is he she and them? Now?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Well actually no, it's just they don't put there's no
- 11:51Speaker 1: more them just okay, So why are you single? By choice?
- 11:57Speaker 2: Yeah? By choice?
- 11:58Speaker 1: By choice. It's in the backgrounds. So by choice you
- 12:03Speaker 1: were single?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Because okay, So I feel like.
- 12:06Speaker 1: You ain't on no men, ain't ship thing.
- 12:08Speaker 2: No no, no, like someone could come swoop you up.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I know I can cutting you off. I'm sorry.
- 12:13Speaker 2: You know you're good. You're good, You're trying to understand you.
- 12:14Speaker 2: So here somebody could come in and you know they could,
- 12:17Speaker 2: they could wow me. But right now it's just kind
- 12:20Speaker 2: of like I'm focused. I'm tunnel vision on what I
- 12:21Speaker 2: got going on. I don't want no distractions. So music
- 12:24Speaker 2: is my.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Man saying so you're saying, so you're saying, uh, that
- 12:28Speaker 3: young yum is a distracted distraction to you.
- 12:32Speaker 2: No, the men just like men, with all their ways
- 12:35Speaker 2: and things they got going on.
- 12:37Speaker 3: So if the right guy comes to swoop you off
- 12:39Speaker 3: your feet, you fall in love, that's not gonna be
- 12:41Speaker 3: no distraction.
- 12:42Speaker 2: No long as you understand. You know I'm working, because
- 12:44Speaker 2: some people they don't if you're not an artist, so
- 12:45Speaker 2: you're not.
- 12:46Speaker 3: So it was date night and uh T Grizzly call
- 12:51Speaker 3: you for for a feature and you gotta stop date
- 12:54Speaker 3: night and go do that feature.
- 12:55Speaker 1: And old boy gotta understand.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Then you want to go to the studio.
- 13:00Speaker 1: You gotta be a little You gotta say I'm coming
- 13:02Speaker 1: with it. What do you have planning for your birthday?
- 13:07Speaker 2: I don't have anything planning right now.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Because birthday on Valentine's you should drop You should drop
- 13:12Speaker 1: a song on Valentine's Day.
- 13:13Speaker 3: It's your birthday and it's themed out. Hey, y'all know
- 13:15Speaker 3: what y'all get me for my birthday?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Stream my song?
- 13:17Speaker 2: Go get there.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You got something already ready, You already got something ready?
- 13:21Speaker 1: Tell them. Don't tell me happy birthday.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Okay, look see but I have nothing playing. Last year,
- 13:27Speaker 2: I spent my birthday in the studio.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Okay, you committed.
- 13:31Speaker 2: I'm trying. I'm trying to do somewhere.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:34Speaker 3: So last segments called mental health. How is your mental
- 13:38Speaker 3: state of mind? If you are having a moment, I
- 13:41Speaker 3: don't know. If you call moments bad days, I call
- 13:43Speaker 3: them bad days, Because sometimes I have a bad day.
- 13:45Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 13:47Speaker 3: Do you meditate? Do you speak to a therapist? Do
- 13:49Speaker 3: you cut motherfuckers out?
- 13:51Speaker 1: To your mom? Do you speak to a sister? What
- 13:53Speaker 1: do you do when something's getting on your damn nerves?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Okay, so when I'm having I don't say bad I
- 13:57Speaker 2: used to say bad days, right, But what I'm learning
- 13:59Speaker 2: as I'm growing and I'm involving, I'm like, I can't
- 14:02Speaker 2: allow a bad moment to ruin the whole day. So
- 14:06Speaker 2: my bad moments or my bad little segments, I might
- 14:10Speaker 2: cry because I can be a cry baby.
- 14:12Speaker 1: It's a crier.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I am, It's okay, but I feel like after I
- 14:16Speaker 2: get that cry out, and sometimes if it's a real
- 14:17Speaker 2: ugly cry, I feel refreshed, like, Okay, we just had
- 14:19Speaker 2: to get that out of here. So you know, I
- 14:22Speaker 2: might cry. I put on some gospel music. I might
- 14:24Speaker 2: need to praise and worship real quick, you know, prayer,
- 14:27Speaker 2: just like stand off to myself because if I'm in
- 14:29Speaker 2: a bad mood already and I'm trying to interact with people,
- 14:31Speaker 2: You're gonna get a really nasty attitude. And if you
- 14:34Speaker 2: didn't do nothing to me, I don't really want to,
