Big changes are coming to Central Bank Center and Rupp Arena as GM Brian Sipe and Marketing Director Lauren Layman both depart—Sipe’s last day is October 2nd, Layman’s September 11th. Sipe, who helped steer the venues through a $300M renovation, previously led booking at Oak View Group and oversaw record-breaking events at Rupp. Layman is moving to Nashville for a new role. Oak View Group will now collaborate with the Lexington Center Board to fill these critical positions, with a board meeting scheduled this month to chart the next steps.
