- 0:00So today we're going to talk about the Urantia book and what
- 0:05I wrote about my first paper, which is still available on
- 0:09Amazon, by the way. It's called A New Revelation
- 0:11exploring the Urantia book. And in this particular chapter,
- 0:16I go through what I think are validation points, things that
- 0:22are proven that the book is a revelation that somebody
- 0:27couldn't have made it up. And the chances that they would
- 0:29have been right in picking these facts are just so astronomical
- 0:35that there's no way anybody could have made this stuff up.
- 0:38So it's either somebody was authentically writing this book
- 0:42based on information that we don't have, or somebody was
- 0:46pretty damn lucky, like a one in 10 million chance.
- 0:49They'll only roll through just a few things in the Arantia book
- 0:53that are are truly revelational. In other words, the knowledge
- 0:58did not previously exist until the book was published in 1955.
- 1:04S In The Life and Teachings of Jesus, the revelation states
- 1:07that Jesus was born at noon on August 21st 7 BC.
- 1:13Taking into account the revision of the Julian calendar and the
- 1:18narration of the. The Star of Bethlehem points to
- 1:22the fact that the same year that Jesus was born, which was August
- 1:2721st 7 BC that on May 29th, September 29th and December 5th
- 1:32of that year. Because of the proclivity of men
- 1:36to mix facts with miracles, the legend of a bright evening star
- 1:40appearing as a guiding light to herald the miraculous birth of
- 1:44Jesus was later interwoven in the biblical account.
- 1:48Now what that means is that for them to have picked those dates
- 1:53May 29th, September 29th and December 5th of seven BC that
- 1:59they say there was a conjunction that occurred and that
- 2:03conjunction was the conjunction occurred between Jupiter and
- 2:08Saturn occurring in the constellation of Pisces on the
- 2:12exact dates mentioned. Now, no one knows that except
- 2:17the for the fact that it's verifiable.
- 2:19That's a verifiable fact. You can go and look back now
- 2:23with computer models and actually go back to seven BC
- 2:28what was in the nighttime sky on those dates, and you will see
- 2:31that there is a conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in the
- 2:35constellation of Pisces to add to that.
- 2:39But what are the chances they would have been able to pluck
- 2:42those dates out of thin air? And why is it that no one else
- 2:46has ever discovered that fact? So that's just one example of
- 2:50many. There's another one here too,
- 2:55which I found interesting. Back in the 90s there was a
- 2:59paleontologist who published a series of articles in National
- 3:03Geographic talking about the Neanderthal in 1934.
- 3:11The following passages appear in the revelatory text on the
- 3:15subject of Neanderthals. The Neanderthalers were
- 3:19excellent fighters. This is the quote from the
- 3:21Urantia book. And they traveled extensively.
- 3:25They gradually spread from the highland centers in northwest
- 3:29India to France on the West, China on the east, and even down
- 3:33into northern Africa. And regarding the use of tools
- 3:38that the Neanderthalers used, the Urantia revelators write
- 3:43quote the reindeer was highly useful to these Neanderthal
- 3:48people serving as food, clothing since they made various uses of
- 3:52the horns and bones. Large flints attached to wooden
- 3:56handles came back into use and served as axes and picks.
- 4:00OK, 2003. Joe Alper publishes an article
- 4:05in National Geographic, and he says other tools found would
- 4:10have been halved or set in wooden handles, recovered stones
- 4:15typically fashioned from nearby sources of flints or quartz.
- 4:20Well, that's just what the Urantia book said.
- 4:22Urantia book says large flints attached to wooden handles came
- 4:27back into use. Joe Alper writes NOR and
- 4:30Neanderthal groups mingled and exchanged mates.
- 4:34Such interactions may have been necessary for survival.
- 4:37Now take that quote from That's 2003 and then compare it to 1934
- 4:44when the Uranto revelators write Neanderthals were the first to
- 4:48adopt the practice of giving the most successful hunters the
- 4:51choice of women for wives. Now how did they know that when
- 4:57that wasn't even published until 2003 due to more recent
- 5:01archaeological finds? The only way they would have
- 5:04known that is if they were there or they had knowledge that no
- 5:08one else apparently had in the anthropology community.
- 5:13Now, there's other things too, and this comes from Calabrese.
- 5:18It's an interesting examination. Phil Calabrese is a
- 5:21mathematician. He says the chances that the
- 5:24Urantia book would have falsely pushed the narrative of the
- 5:29Piltdown Man turned out to be a hoax.
- 5:33I don't know if you know the story of the Piltdown Man, but
- 5:36these two guys pretended they had discovered new fossils and
- 5:41it turns out that it was a hoax. So when the Urantia Book was
- 5:44published, it talks about the Neanderthal, the CRO, Magnon,
- 5:48Java, Heidelberg man, but it doesn't talk about the Piltdown
- 5:53Man. Now, it's interesting because at
- 5:56the time the Urantia book was first being read, which is in
- 5:59the late 20s, Piltdown Man was assumed to be a scientific
- 6:03accuracy or a fact, and it was only later be shown to be a
- 6:07fraud. But the Arrangi book writers
- 6:09didn't include it in their book. Those are just three things that
- 6:14you could point to that say foreknowledge.
- 6:17Next segment we'll talk more about that.
- 6:19Hang on.
