- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jaguars fans welcome in to do vault daily presented by jing Jack.com I'm Jordan Aluga.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks so much for being here.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: It is Wednesday leading up to Jaguars and bills in the wild card round.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: Second time these two teams have met in the wild card round since 2017.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars were able to win that football game but this is a much much different football game.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty much everything about these two teams is different than what it was back then other than the fact that Sean McDermott is still
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: the Buffalo Bill's head coach.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: Right now we're talking about, this isn't the bold predictions show that will still happen on Saturday morning where I'll get like into the nitty gritty.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: But I am gonna talk to you right now about why I am picking the Jaguars and I'm gonna go ahead and put that down.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguars will be at the bills.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: full stop and we're going to talk about why I believe that that is the case and look this is my opinion is my channel if you disagree with me that's fine let me know in the comment section below I'm always here for discourse as long as it's respectful and and in good nature so that's just my beliefs and we're going to get into why I'm excited to talk about why I'm excited to talk about this game really appreciate y'all tuning in if you enjoy the content please like and subscribe

- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: So looking at this game, why do I believe the Jaguars will win?
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: Again, number of reasons, the first and the biggest reason is I think that, well, maybe not the biggest, but the first reason that we're going to talk about.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: They have more paths to victory, more likely paths to victory.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: When I look at what the Jaguars have done this year versus what the bills have done this year and then looking at the matchups as well, I just think that there are more paths to victory for the Jaguars.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think that there are more balanced and complete football team.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: If the Jaguars passing offense is what it has been for the last.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: two plus months, they're probably going to win the game, because when the Jack's passing offense puts pressure on or an opposing defense, the way that they have and and on and opposing offense as well, it makes it incredibly difficult to keep up and then you start making mistakes.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that's a clear path to victory.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about that yesterday.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: The number one key to victory in my opinion is the Jack worse passing attack performing the way it has.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: And one thing I often gloss over and forget to kind of talk about,
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just what Trevor Lawrence does with his arm and what the passing game draws up.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's also if you actually have a good reps in coverage, Trevor Lawrence can absolutely dice you up with his legs.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's done that so often this year.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: His running, he's done some design running, right?
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what I'm talking about.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's an extension of the run game, right?
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about when things aren't there,
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: You have a good coverage like, you know, whatever the Jaguars are running, your defense comes out great coverage.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: They know exactly what they're doing and it's a great call for the situation, which is fairly rare.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence is just ready to take off and do things with his legs and he is an unbelievable athlete.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: And that's been a huge part of the Jaguar's offensive success, but so has, you know, the fact that you can hit Jacobi Myers, short, intermediate, 20 yards down the field, middle of the field.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: You can hit Britain strange all over the place.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: You can hit Ryan Thomas Jr. on the boundary vertical all over the place.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: You can hit Parker Washington every, Travis ET and out of the back field.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: There's so much that the Jaguar is, excuse me, passing offense can do to threaten opposing defenses.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: And to me, that that's a path to victory, right?
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: If the Jaguar's rushing offense actually pops off against what is a poor rushing defense.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: And the bills have had more success against the run lately, but it's been against fairly poor running teams.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: But if the Jaguar's are able to pound the rock and keep Josh Allen off the field,
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to open up their passing game even more, that's going to keep their defense fresh, that is a path to victory in my opinion.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: How about if the Jaguar's Rush defense is what it is?
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's have the best run defense in football, the bills have the best run game in football, who's going to win out there?
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: Look, the Jags have placed a lot of really good rushing offences this year, I haven't seen any of them pop off, right?
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see it happening.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think James Cook will threaten, I think he'll have some numbers, I think he will probably be the first Russia that actually does get over 75 yards against them, but I don't think he's going to have this like, you know, day where he's Russian for 150 and the bills have a banner day on the ground.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see that happening.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't, I think the jag war has had a elite run defense for a reason.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: And that's just another pathway.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: Even if the bills
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: I still think if the Jaguar's passing offense is what it is, it doesn't really matter that much.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: But that's just another path.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: How about a special team's pops?
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't talked about it a lot, but he'd far well had a fairly unzank demonious exit from Buffalo.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's now coaching the best special team's units in football.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: How about if special team's pops?
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: Cam little Logan Cook, your returners, they've done a great job this year.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: coverage.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Great job this year.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: How about if they forced turnovers, which they've done at an extremely high clip all year.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: And again, some of the forcing turnovers can come really when when Trevor and the offense are clicking, but they can come on their own too, like they don't need the offense to pop off to be able to force turnovers.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: How about if multiple of these different likely scenario likely paths to victory happens?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think you've got yourself a recipe there.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: Then there's some other factors.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are at home and they do have a good home field advantage.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: That place gets loud.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: Is it the loudest in the NFL?
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: But it does get loud.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: And that is an advantage for them.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: There's no question about it.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: And the intensity and the energy and yes, I know there will be bills fans there.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: There will be bills fans there last time.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: They played in the playoffs.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: Guess what?
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: It didn't matter.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was still loud as hell for the Jaguars on a defensive side of the ball and pretty damn quiet when the Jaguars were on offense.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the Jaguar's homebuilder vanage will matter.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think, and even if you don't believe in the crowd noise and all that stuff, just look at what they've done at home.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar, the average margin of victory at home is doubling up on their opponent.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: This entire season, including the one loss they have at home to the Seattle Seahawks, right?
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: Their average game, winner loss, which I believe they're seven and one at home this year.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: is like 31 to 15 or something like that.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: Something around 30 to 15.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: They're the hotter and better, like I said, I think they're more well-rounded team.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: I really do.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: And a big part of that is coaching.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think they have better coaching.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, Sean McDermott has been here.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, Josh Allen has been here.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: right like that they've been in the playoffs for years and years and years and years to me that doesn't experience doesn't make you better than your opponent if they are inexperienced.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the better opponent wins and I think that Liam Cohen
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: can outscoach Sean McDermott.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think that Anthony Campanylei can outcoach the bills on the offensive side of the ball, right?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm a big fan of Joe Brady, but I think that Anthony Campanylei is rightfully getting a lot of attention for what he's doing this year.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Their defensive fronts combined with their back end where they have a lot of post-nap coverage rotations, a lot of different zone defenses, and they play pretty damn aggressive.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's been a nightmare for pretty much everybody
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: over the last couple months.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that the coaching from exes and others and schematics standpoint and teaching, but also just like the toughness and culture that this group is instilled, I think that they're going to go beat the bills.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: And there's also all this talk about Josh Allen.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, there's no Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson or Joe Burrow, we'll guess what?
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: This locker room's gonna take that personal.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: This coaching staff's gonna take that personal.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: You know they are.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: You know, after that game, if the Jag war's win as I expect them to win, Liam Cohen's going to be like, you know, we might not have Patrick or Joe or Lamar, but you know, Trevor's pretty damn good quarterback.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think I can just literally see that right now.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: And the Jag's aren't favored, even though they're at home with a better record, division champs, all that stuff.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: And my last point is I just think Trevor's playing as well as anyone right now.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, I think he's quarterback wise.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't take a single quarterback over him to play a game this weekend, especially when you factor in they're receiving the receivers that he has and Liam Cohen coaching it up.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I think they're in a great spot to go when this football game cannot wait to see it.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't want to wait like normally I wait till Saturday to give a prediction on who's going to win.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: Talk about a little bit on Club Jaguar, which Club Jaguar is going to be tomorrow night.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Have some friend coming in town tonight, so couldn't do it tonight, but we're going to be doing it tomorrow night over on UCF Jaguar's channel.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: We have not forgotten about y'all that will get out.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: So excited for that Club Jaguar Thursday night at 830, but Jaguar, I think they're going to win.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: They have more pathways to victory.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: They're at home.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: They are the hotter slash better team.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they're coaching and toughness is a winning formula.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Trevor Lawrence is balling out right now, both with his arm, on schedule, off schedule, and then with his rushing ability as well, off script.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe, y'all have a good one.
