and it's so wonderful to have you with us. Let's start out by talking

about your background. You're the author of eight books on UFOs and ET contact.

When did your interest in this begin and what led you to become a

spokesperson for your aunt and uncle, Betty and Barney Hill. Well, my
2:32
interest began on September twentieth, nineteen sixty one. My aunt and uncle had
2:40
arrived home that morning after having a close encounter with the craft the previous evening,
2:50
an unconventional craft, and my uncle had observed figures on the craft who
2:55
he believed were non human, and so that is when my interest developed.

My aunt called my mother. Within a couple of days, we went and

I heard the story for myself. I saw some of the evidence, the

shiny spots on the trunk of the vehicle that had not been there the day
3:16
before, but were there when they arrived home, and there was a magnetic

field around those spots. There was so much evidence, and I always maintained
3:30
an interest in this fascinating mystery that my aunt and uncle had that profoundly impacted

them. And as years went on, I you know, I had a
3:46
professional career, but then I developed an illness, an incapacitating illness, and

I decided I needed some intellectual stimulation. What could I do since I couldn't

work full time in my profession. And I thought, well, I've always
4:05
wanted to be a writer. That's what I thought I might do after college.

But my aunt Betty had told me, oh, you'll never make a

living as a writer. Become a social worker like me. You'll have a
4:21
pension, and she loved that job, and so that's what I studied in
4:27
college. But I decided to go back and try writing because I had nothing

to lose and maybe a little bit to gain. According to what she had
4:41
told me previously, so I did begin writing, investigating, and writing about
4:47
my aunt and uncle's case. Because Betty was still alive so I had I
4:54
could question her, I could go along the close encounter room with her.

I attempted to find prosaic explanations for everything that I knew about the case,

and in the end I couldn't. But I ended up becoming the executor and
5:18
trustee of Betty's and Barney's estate. Well particularly, Barney had died at age
5:25
forty six, so now it was Betty's estate, and when she died in
5:30
two thousand and four, I became the official spokesperson. She had trained me.

Of course, I had done my own study. I knew the accurate
5:42
story of what had occurred. I knew about the evidence that the scientific evidence.

I had all of her files, and from those files, her will
5:56
asked me to compile collectively the files that I wanted to go into an archival

collection at the University of New Hampshire. So I did that. I had
6:09
done a tremendous amount of research and investigation regarding this case. My husband and

I even made that trip, stopping at the same stops, looking at the
6:24
same sites that Betty and Barney described and realized that one of the skeptics stated

that Betty and Barney had been driving for such a long period of time that
6:38
day that they must have been hallucinating when they believed they saw an unconventional craft.

And I can tell you my husband and I were much older than Betty
6:47
and Barney when we did that trip, and we were not hallucinating. So
6:55
Betty and Barney were not hallucinating either. And there was a lot of events

that I discovered and my archival research that indicated there were other witnesses to the

craft that night. I did a comparative analysis of their statements. Betty knew

I was writing this book. I thought that initially it would be about it
7:21
would be a biography of her life, but it ended up being captured the

Betty and Barney hill Ufo experience. And that was the first book that I

wrote with and Stanton Friedman agreed to contribute a couple of chapters and the forward

to the book as well, so I updated that book in twenty twenty one.

I wrote a chapter on Stanton and I corrected some errors that I had
7:58
found in the book, and then I wrote a chapter on all of the

updated scientific analysis of the physical evidence in that case as well. So I

was very proud of that book and very proud to be the spokesperson for Betty

and Barney. For the very few who are not familiar with their story,

please share what happened. My aunt and uncle went on a vacation. It
8:28
was a short surprise vacation given by Betty to Barney in September nineteen sixty one.

She, as I said, was a social worker for the State of
8:41
New Hampshire. He worked for the post office. He took a few days
8:45
off and they went to Niagara Falls, and from Niagara Falls they went on
8:50
and toward the Thousand Islands and in upstate New York, southern Ontario, and
8:58
they stopped in that region the night, one hundred and twelve miles from Montreal.

The following day they drove to Montreal. Were tourists around Montreal, and

as they were leaving late in the afternoon, the people there was a lot
9:15
of traffic, people were getting out of work. Barney made the decision not
9:20
to stay in Montreal, but to head back to New Hampshire, thinking that
9:24
if they grew tired, they'd stop along the way. So they proceeded along
9:31
the roads that I was able to retrace, even though there are super highways
9:37
now. We drove on. My husband and I drove on the older roads
9:41
because I wanted to retrace their entire route, estimating the time that it took
9:48
them and to be able to describe what they had observed. So they drove
9:58
through Quebec, down to Vermont and on to New Hampshire, stopping in Colbrook

in northern New Hampshire, stopping for gas filling up their car, and then
10:13
they proceeded south and when they were just past Lancaster, New Hampshire, they
10:20
observed a new light in the sky. And what attracted Betty to this is
10:26
that it was traveling upward. It reminded her of a following star, but
10:30
it couldn't have been because of its projectory. And she watched it as it
10:35
grew larger and larger in the sky, and shortly she asked Barney to stop
10:41
the car to get a better look at it. They did. It was
10:46
unconventional in nature. They traveled on into what is known as Franconia Notch,
10:54
where the mountains are high on each side of the road. This craft came
10:58
down again by the old man off the mountain, which is forty eight feet
11:03
from chin line to forehead. The top of the head, it's a rock
11:11
outcropping, and they were able to determine that that craft was at least one
11:20
and a half times the length of that forty eight foot rock structure. And
11:24
then as they drove on they noticed that the craft was bouncing back and forth
11:31
in the sky. Barney compared it to a yo yo flying out in an
11:37
arc and then coming back and out and back, not like a conventional object
11:43
at all. It was rotating. When it was near the Old Man of
11:46
the Mountain, it was lighted on only one side, and as they went
11:52
on it descended closer and closer. After they exited Franconia and Ni, they
12:00
were in the tourist area of Lincoln, New Hampshire, en Route three,
12:05
and this is when the craft surged ahead and stopped just very very close on
12:16
the right side of their vehicle. Barney had to stop the car in the
12:18
middle of the road so he wouldn't be underneath this craft. And we know
12:22
today that if you've tried to drive underneath them, you end up inside them
12:28
with your vehicle. So he stopped the car and the craft moved across the
12:39
road and descended even lower. It was now about fifty feet away and one
12:43
hundred feet in the air. And he looked up with binoculars after he'd walked
12:50
down the highway toward it, and he saw figures dressed in shiny black uniforms
12:58
staring down at him. This was in the early reports. A lot of
13:01
people confuse this and think that it was brought out by hypnosis for the first
13:07
time. That is not true. It is in the earliest investigative reports.

Something started to drop down out of the bottom of the craft after all but
13:18
one had turned and walked toward what Barney thought was a panel, and then
13:22
Barney had the distinct impression that what was dropping down was going to capture him,
13:31
and he became terrified. He pulled the binoculars away from his eyes and
13:35
ran back to the car. Betty heard his feet pounding on the pavement.

He entered the car and threw the binoculars on the seat, telling Betty that
13:46
they had to get out of there or they were going to be captured.

He went speeding down the highway, and he had noticed that the craft was
13:56
coming in his direction. He and Betty soon heard a series of code like

buzzing sounds striking the trunk of their vehicle. It caused their car to vibrate
14:09
and for a tingling sensation to pass through their bodies. The next thing they
14:16
knew, they were thirty to thirty five miles down the highway. They heard
14:20
a second series of buzzing sounds, and this time they didn't see the craft,
14:28
but their full conscious recall return. They remembered that they had found themselves
14:33
on a dirt road with tall trees all around. They remembered a roadblock.

They remembered a fiery orb that seemed to be sitting on the ground, and
14:43
they resumed speaking. They had not talked to one another during this entire time
14:50
from the initial code like buzzing sounds, and they drove home. They wanted
14:58
to report this to a police officer. They wanted to find a coffee shop

that was open. Nothing was open. They anticipated that they'd arrive home between
15:09
two and three in the morning, but it was five sixteen when Betty went
15:15
into the house realized that her watch was no longer running, set it for
15:20
that time in the morning, and wound it, but her watch never worked
15:26
again. Today, I have her watch and there is some kind of a
15:33
substance inside the face of that watch that covers about half of it. It's
15:41
green and it's speckled. And also her dress was torn in several places.

Barney's dress shoes were so deeply scraped he had to buy new shoes. The
15:52
binocular strap was broken. Those spots were on the trunk of the car where
15:58
they had heard the buzzy sands the previous evening, and it bothered Barney terribly

more so than Betty. And I think that's because Barney saw those non humans.

Betty did not. She was not the one who went to that close
16:15
encounter field, and she was in the car. The door was opened,
16:21
so the interior light was on, so Betty couldn't see what Barney was doing
16:26
as he was standing in that close encounter field. Eventually, this had such
16:34
an impact upon Barney that he developed physiological symptoms bleeding ulcers that sent him to
16:41
the hospital life threatening condition, and he was suffering from symptoms of traumatic stress,
16:52
and so he was referred to doctor Benjamin Simon. Eventually, and twenty
16:56
seven months after this occurred, he and Betty met with doctor Simon and he
17:06
underwent his first hypnosis session. Doctor Simon saw them separately and he reinstated amnesia
17:14
at the end of each session, and this is why I was able to
17:18
do a comparative analysis of their separate statements under hypnosis, because they were not
17:25
able to remember what they had stated to doctor Simon until the last two months.

He saw them for six months, but it's during the last two months
17:34
that they were able to listen to what each of them said, to discuss
17:41
it, and to incorporate these memories into their psyches and overcome the fear and
17:51
anxiety that they both experienced. You have devoted years of painstaking investigation of the

Hill anomalous events and archival research on their UFO abduction case. Shockingly, doctor

Stephen Greer recently claimed it was not a case of true alien abduction, but
18:12
rather a covert US Air Force program to abduct citizens and garner DNA from them.

What was your reaction to his claim and how did you respond. My
18:22
initial reaction, i should say, was to think that doctor Greer must have
18:32
received false information from a disinformant. I know that he is interviewing many,
18:40
many people who are whistleblowers or claimed to be whistleblowers, and I know also
18:47
that he makes a living doing this, so he's a perfect target for government
18:51
disinformation. And that's what I'd believed must have occurred, because I know that
18:57
he's a very good researcher. I have a lot of respect for him.

I followed him for years. I even have his app on my phone.

But I knew that somehow he had received false information, and I wrote and
19:15
gave him the facts because on that interview that I listened to, he stated
19:21
that his knowledge was from a book that was written in nineteen sixty six.

He apparently knew nothing about my years of research and the scientific evidence for all
19:36
of this, and the work that Stanton Friedman did with Marjorie Fish, who
19:42
was a brilliant woman and an amateur astronomer who spent years looking for the stars
19:51
on a map that Betty had sketched for doctor Simon that she had observed on
19:59
board the craft. And Marjorie was able to identify the stars on that map.

And there was a recent update of this, and still the new researcher,

an astrophysicist student, was able to use twenty five hundred models looking for
20:23
stars with exo planets, and she said that Marjorie Fish's research was the most
20:33
accurate that she had been able to find in those about twenty five hundred models

that she researched using a computer. There was so much evidence in this.

We now know that metallic substances were recently found on Betty's dress. Substances that
20:52
are very very rare in the Earth's crust, expensive light wait, but very
21:00
very strong, and there's no reason why they should be on Betty's dress.

Yet chemistry professors at the University of Pittsburgh found these substances. They are one

of them is abundant in our universe, but extraordinarily rare in the Earth's crust.

There was no reason they should have been on Betty's dress. There's a

lot more that I've written about about these more recent findings, and I wanted

doctor Greer to know this because I didn't want him to be criticized or made

to appear like a fool for believing false information. So I tried to help

him. That was my response to him. And how did he respond to

your help? I have reached out to him via the Internet, and I

have also written a two page long letter to him, a very nice letter,

and I have not received a response. Any idea what made him bring

out this claim at this time, I have no idea already very sad,

edition contains a lot of information that I just simply could not put into the

first edition. So they're two different books. There's a slight overlap there but

I focused more on my relationship with my aunt Betty Hill, the work that
26:11
we did together at the research. I had never mentioned that I began working
26:17
with her way back in the nineteen eighties, and then I joined the Mutual
26:25
UFO Network in nineteen ninety one and became an investigator and held several positions in
26:30
that organization. I talked about Bud Hopkins in my book, talked about the
26:37
progression of what I learned as I went deeper and deeper and opened my mind
26:45
more in my investigations. Because I started out very much as a nuts and
26:52
bolts kind of researcher. It was everything was based on physical evidence. I
26:59
needed to have something that you could hold in your hands or you could have
27:03
analyzed in a scientific laboratory. But I began to see that this phenomenon extended
27:15
beyond the nuts and bolts, and there were so many parts of this that
27:23
were, for example, interdimensional that even broached upon the paranormal, which and
27:33
I knew that the paranormal and UFO studies were always at swords point with one
27:40
another. They did not want to incorporate any information from the other into their
27:48
own and so but there was so much overlap there as I did investigations of
27:59
each contact and all of the different types of contact with non human entities.

So that's in the book. There's a lot on the studies that I have

done. I've worked on three major investigations on experiencers. The first was with
28:21
seventy five people. Denise Stoner and I worked on this to find commonalities that
28:27
experiencers shared. The second one was the Edgar Mitchell Free Foundations Experiencer Survey,
28:37
and I worked on that with Ray Hernandez and with several PhD social scientists and
28:48
physical scientists who worked on this study. We had statistician do our statistics when
28:57
we had thirty four one hundred responses, and this was a massive, massive
29:04
study. And then from there I worked with a team from Moffon's Experiencer research
29:12
team. I was the founder and director of that team and worked with several
29:21
different individuals on Moufon's study of five hundred and sixteen experiencers of ET contact.

And so I had all of this vast knowledge of we I had compiled from
29:37
the different studies that we had done to find out what those commonalities really are
29:45
and so much more. We had open ended questions plus we had questions that
29:52
you know, where we could acquire statistics. We do a statistical analysis and

Moufon's he had two parts. One was the experiencer survey and the other was

the phase two of this study that I worked on with doctor Don C.

Don Derry, where we could determine who had UFO abduction syndrome as it was
30:18
called in those days. This was a survey that was developed with Bud Hopkins

and with Ted Davis who was a social worker clinical social worker in New York
30:32
and doctor C. Donderry, who was a professor of psychology at McGill University,
30:38
was able to standardize this reduce the size of the tests that they developed,
30:45
and that was a test that we administered and we were able to identify
30:52
those with UFO abduction syndrome, people who believed they had been in contact with
31:02
extraterrestrials, but they were simulators. They were people who wanted this to happen
31:07
in their life but had none of the symptoms of having had it happen.

And then the general public. So I'm very proud of that study too.

I went on to talk about some of the information and that we that I
31:26
had published in the first book where I was now talking about forbidden ufology and
31:36
information that I had discovered when I was contacted by the daughter of Rear Admiral

in the Navy and who had worked on an ET communication study and obtained really
31:52
remarkable information. The government was involved in it. I have evidence in that

chapter. And then my journey to Deeper Understanding an experiment that really that I
32:07
participated in with a group of researchers and a man Kevin Briggs, who believed
32:15
that he had been communicating with extraterrestrials, and this became a protracted study over
32:22
a multi year period where we had the opportunity to ask questions, we had
32:28
the opportunity to acquire evidence in terms of using scientific measurements, and we did
32:37
to actually meet these non human entities. We could not see them with our
32:44
eyes, but we could measure their presence and we could feel their presence in
32:51
our bodies, and to meet one on one with a member of that Council
32:58
of Eight. We learned a tremendous amount of information from them regarding consciousness,

spirituality, where they were from, what dimension they were from, what it
33:16
was like for them coming here, what their concerns, were we learned about
33:23
the Earth's collective consciousness and how it impacted people from this planet, and on
33:34
and on. So many questions that we had that I published in the book

and the Council of Eights responses, plus the researchers experiences with the Council of
33:49
Eight. And then I went on to talk about one of my new cases

that is absolutely fascinating, and I can talk more about that after I finished

an overview of this book, and I went on to talk about the people
34:06
in this field that I really admired greatly, my aunt Betty Hill, who
34:15
was so badly criticized, not only by disinformants, but by eufologists who believed
34:22
the disinformants. She was a brilliant woman and she carried out experiments where she
34:29
was able to discover a great deal of information, and all of that information
34:36
she presented to eufologists respected eufologists, and they just said she's not scientific,
34:45
that's only clutter in the sky, or that's only insects or whatever. But
34:51
I found out that Betty actually was sending this film off to a laboratory for
34:58
analysis, and that they did a frame by frame analysis and these were real
35:07
unexplained phenomena. And we talk a little bit more about each of these topics,

but I want to talk about this one. You wrote of your family's
35:19
distressing paranormal experiences that began when you're at was collaborating with that team of scientists,

so physic experiment and a craft landed on your grandparents' morm. Tell us

about what occurred and when the craft landed in April I believe it was of
35:34
nineteen sixty six. It left physical trace evidence on the ground. It was
35:38
observed by two different people. And after that occurred, we started to have
35:47
paranormal experience in my childhood home that we had not had previously. There were
35:54
light orbs that seemed to have intelligence, that were suddenly jutting around the room

here and there, coming toward people. We had poltegeist activity. Let me
36:13
give you some examples some of the stories that I put into Forbidden Knowledge,

second edition. When I was in college, I had a boyfriend and my
36:25
parents invited him to spend the night at my childhood home and during the summer,
36:34
and to go on our cabin cruiser deep sea fishing with us the following
36:38
day. Well, that night, in the middle of the night. Suddenly
36:45
he started yelling and screaming and he ran out of his room. It woke
36:52
my mother up. It woke me up. My mother ran in our direction,
36:58
and what had happened is he was sleeping and coat hangers had lifted out
37:04
of my brother's closet. He was in my brother's room. My brother was
37:08
away during the Vietnam War, he was in the service, and they landed
37:15
on top of his sleeping body and scared the daylights out of him, and
37:21
he refused to go back into that room. And that's just one of the
37:27
things that happened. Years later, I was getting divorced. I had two
37:36
young children, and we were staying at my mother's home and my young son
37:44
woke me up during the night. I was in the room next to his
37:49
and again, this was my brother's room, and he was having spirited playtime
38:00
in that bedroom that night, and he was running around and he was giggling.

And I ran into the room and the night light was on, and
38:13
there I saw an orb and this orb appeared to have intelligence. And as
38:22
my son would run and jump into the air trying to hit this orb with
38:28
his hand, the orb seemed to be gleeful I could sort of sense this
38:35
coming from it, and it would just move away, and then it would
38:38
move toward him again, and they were playing, and I scooped him up,
38:44
and I closed the door and ran into my bedroom with my son,
38:50
and it was determined that we were going to put the covers over our heads
38:54
and sleep there for the night. Little did I know in that timeframe that

orbs can pass through walls, and little did I know that orbes can actually
39:07
manifest as ets, that they can just sort of pop into extraterrestrials. That

happened in the case of the Reed family when Tom Reid and his brother were
39:22
children and they were taken so fascinating phenomena. But during my college years I
39:32
was denying that any of that could be real, because in my psychology classes
39:37
I was taught that this was simply not possible. And then later I discovered
39:44

back and forth to school. Now, Betty had been talking about harassment taking

place in her home, that there was some kind of what I believe was

a psychological operation against Betty. They wanted her to keep her mouth shut,

and they wanted her to look like she was paranoid. But I saw these

things with my own eyes. On at one of these occasions, she had

prepared her taxes and she had them ready to take to her accountant, and

when she went to pick them up to take them, they were missing.

of those records, because she owned an apartment house, and she had to

discussed our spiritual connection that seems to be tied in with our contact experiences.

Where do you think this comes from? When we have contact with these extraterrestrials,

we undergo a transformation, and I don't know exactly what it is.

I have hypothesized that perhaps it happens when we are taken into their dimension,

that are, if we're taken out of body, that it's almost like a

near death experience, because as we're still connected to our bodies, to our

physical but our consciousness can move elsewhere. And many experiencers of et contact are

very good remote viewers. I might add, but when we asked questions about

religious belief and spirituality on our moof on study, we discovered that eighty six

percent of the abductees who participated, those with the UFO abduction syndrome had become

more spiritual, and sixty nine percent of everyone who participated in the study stated

that these experiences had made them more spiritual. Fifty five percent of the abductees

had near death experiences as well. So this connect the was there's this connection

sort of to the beyond where so many experiencers have the ability to communicate with

deceased family members at least shortly prior to the death or shortly after their death,

In eighty one percent of the experiencers said that they were empaths, and that's

have empathic feelings. This means that when they are near another individual, if
