Brian Kelly Joins CBS as Analyst | Birmingham News
Brian Kelly’s coaching days are officially over — he’s now a CBS Sports college football analyst, hitting the broadcast booth this fall. His debut is on August 29th calling Jacksonville State vs. North Dakota State on CBS Sports Network, followed by games on CBS itself: Texas Tech at Oregon State on Sept. 12th and BYU at Colorado State on Sept. 19th. Kelly’s exit from LSU in October 2025 — after a 34-14 record and a perfect 3-0 bowl run — came with a $53.2M buyout, but his legacy at Notre Dame (113-40, national title game appearance) still looms large.
