SPEAKER_05: Middlewest Spirits was founded in 2008, focusing on elevating the distinct flavors of the Ohio River Valley.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_05: Their spirits honor their roots and reflect their originality as makers, their integrity as producers, and their passion for crafting spirits from grain to glass.
• 2:15
SPEAKER_05: Their Michelon reserve line reflects their story from the start to the bottle to your glass, with unique wheated it and rye bourbons, and also rye and wheat whiskies.
• 2:26
SPEAKER_05: The Michelin brand is easy to sip.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_05: It might be a grain to glass experience, but I like to think of it as about uncut and unfiltered from their family to yours.
• 2:43
SPEAKER_04: We're diving straight into the heart of Kentucky bourbon culture.
• 2:46
  SPEAKER_04: Let's get started.
• 3:48
  SPEAKER_05: Oh man.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_02: Haven't had enough bourbon yet.
• 3:57
  SPEAKER_05: All right.
• 3:58
SPEAKER_05: Welcome back to another podcast of the Stotchy Bourbon boy.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_05: Woo! We're monitoring Facebook and YouTube this morning.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_05: Actually, YouTube is was kind of like kind of active comparatively at 8 30 at night, but I don't know what time it is in India right now or Russia.
• 4:19
  SPEAKER_05: But we're looking in.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_05: But tonight, today we're here.
• 4:22
SPEAKER_03: We're all live in the studio.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, we're well Super Nash, C T and Tiny.
• 4:27
SPEAKER_05: All we're right here in the studio, like we like to be.
• 4:30
SPEAKER_05: And uh honestly, guys, this is a podcast that we always look forward to.
• 4:35
SPEAKER_05: This is the Bookers of the Year.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_05: Whiskey and Roxy sometimes join us for this, but Roxy is making money.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_05: She was like, Well, I'm like, yeah, go make that money.
• 4:45
SPEAKER_05: It's like you being on the podcast.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_05: So we have our so we do our bookers of the year, and one thing that happens is it's the time to do it.
• 4:53
  SPEAKER_05: Yep.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_05: The newest release, which is batch four 2025-04, called Phantom Pipes.
• 5:00
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 5:00
SPEAKER_05: Yep, okay, but we didn't get that.
• 5:02
SPEAKER_05: So it's gonna be based off the reserves and the three batches.
• 5:06
SPEAKER_05: There's nothing we could do about it.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_05: We tried everything, and it's not released here in Ohio.
• 5:12
SPEAKER_05: It's not being released in Chicago, South Carolina, South Carolina.
• 5:15
  SPEAKER_05: Nope, nope, nope, Dayton.
• 5:17
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, nope.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_05: I was hoping it got would get released and we taste it for the first time on this, but we we knew the in Florida, the whiskey doctor picked it up there, but it was still in Florida, and he's not coming till tonight.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_05: So even if he brought it with us, I'm sure in Kentucky, if we head over to the distillery tomorrow when we're in Kentucky, we're gonna be picking it up.
• 5:38
SPEAKER_05: But I will say that I don't think it's gonna take out the one that I like this year, but we'll see because we're about to put them all up together and we're gonna get this.
• 5:49
SPEAKER_05: Oh, this is this is a very unique one, but this is the old Louisville Whiskey Company's barrel bottle breakdown competition of Bookers of the Year.
• 5:59
  SPEAKER_05: There you go.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_05: That's that was straight for a meme.
• 6:03
  SPEAKER_05: Come on, petition.
• 6:04
SPEAKER_05: This is a it's not just a breakdown bottle breakdown.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_05: We broke down each one of these bottles, and and based off of that, it yeah, based off those breakdowns, when you weren't going head to head, you would say that Jerry's batch 2025 and the reserves, which was the 2025 reserves, those two were the closest.
• 6:23
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 6:24
SPEAKER_05: They were they were the highest and they got the highest marks, okay?
• 6:28
SPEAKER_05: But honestly, for me this year, I've drank, we've you know, we've been doing this since 2020, was our first bookers of the year.
• 6:36
SPEAKER_05: And honestly, I've got all the batches in between, and I've had a lot of other bookers, and I thought that Jerry's batch was very unique and one of the best batches I that I've tasted, especially when it's being released in a long time.
• 6:51
  SPEAKER_05: So that's what we're gonna do.
• 6:53
SPEAKER_05: Remember everybody, www.scotchyburbonboys.com for all things, scotchy bourbon boys.
• 6:57
SPEAKER_05: We have bourbon balls available.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_05: You want to contact me directly.
• 7:00
SPEAKER_05: We'll be shipping sometime going into next week.
• 7:04
SPEAKER_05: And we've got we made a lot.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_05: Well, Liberty Pole soaked in Liberty Pole bourbon for a year.
• 7:12
  SPEAKER_05: And then those pickups.
• 7:14
SPEAKER_05: And we made these batches, they're uh they they're up there.
• 7:17
SPEAKER_05: We made you, they were in the garage.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_05: You passed them up when you came in.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_03: They're in the garage chilling on you.
• 7:25
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, why are they and and we did it?
• 7:27
SPEAKER_05: And we did a batch, and we did the batches for you because the other one was four months in early times.
• 7:33
SPEAKER_05: So those were the two batches we ended up making almost 400.
• 7:37
SPEAKER_05: Normally we only make 200, so we had oh normally it's a hundred, like 96, 8 dozen.
• 7:44
SPEAKER_05: We had 250 this time.
• 7:47
SPEAKER_05: So, but the Liberty Pole, and then uh, but there's no white chocolate.
• 7:53
  SPEAKER_05: So there you go.
• 7:54
  SPEAKER_02: Excellent.
• 7:55
SPEAKER_05: We have finally I have made a mark.
• 7:57
  SPEAKER_05: You didn't make a mark.
• 7:58
SPEAKER_05: We the white chocolate wouldn't melt.
• 8:00
SPEAKER_05: We had white chocolate, we went to melt it, it wouldn't melt.
• 8:03
  SPEAKER_02: Imitation.
• 8:04
  SPEAKER_05: No, what happens?
• 8:05
  SPEAKER_05: There's no such thing.
• 8:06
  SPEAKER_05: All white chocolate.
• 8:08
  SPEAKER_05: No, it's Gardettos.
• 8:09
SPEAKER_05: No, it gets what happens with white chocolate if it gets old that it won't melt.
• 8:14
SPEAKER_05: And she couldn't get it.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_05: She would that was she she likes to drizzle it at least, put it on.
• 8:18
SPEAKER_05: We could not get them to melt.
• 8:20
SPEAKER_05: And that was really good for me because I was basically dipping the white chocolate little wafers in the milk chocolate and eating it that way.
• 8:30
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 8:30
  SPEAKER_03: There you go.
• 8:31
  SPEAKER_03: All right, anyways.
• 8:32
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 8:33
  SPEAKER_03: Let's get to it.
• 8:34
SPEAKER_03: So, yes, so we're behind schedule here.
• 8:36
SPEAKER_05: We are not behind schedule.
• 8:38
  SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, today's good.
• 8:39
SPEAKER_05: There's no such thing as behind schedule today.
• 8:42
SPEAKER_02: Today, if there was anything, if that was a legitimate thing, we would you would have a shirt that said, I live behind the schedule.
• 8:51
SPEAKER_05: I live to be on time and everybody shows up late.
• 8:55
SPEAKER_05: That was what I'd say.
• 8:56
  SPEAKER_05: I'm always on time.
• 8:57
  SPEAKER_05: Everybody shows up late.
• 8:59
SPEAKER_05: Anyways, the reason why I've sometimes been behind is because I basically have to do everything.
• 9:04
  SPEAKER_05: I'm just saying, but that's that's you.
• 9:06
SPEAKER_05: That's yeah, this is because you're the lunar.
• 9:08
SPEAKER_05: Well, let's talk, let's talk about a couple things that the Scotchy Bourbon boys did this year, okay, as far as improving the podcast.
• 9:14
SPEAKER_05: One, this this this wireless microphone right here, okay?
• 9:18
SPEAKER_05: This is not your normal$40 wireless mark microphones.
• 9:22
SPEAKER_05: This this baby was a professional.
• 9:24
  SPEAKER_05: I looked into it.
• 9:26
SPEAKER_05: I'm gonna get two more of them, but we I spent like it's normally what I got it on a special or whatever, but it's like this is like a$350 microphone set.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_05: It's got the whole, I'm not gonna touch anything because that'll just screw it up.
• 9:39
SPEAKER_05: But it's got the monitoring.
• 9:41
SPEAKER_05: I even got an earpiece, if I can figure that out at one point.
• 9:44
SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
• 9:45
SPEAKER_05: So we upgraded our microphones.
• 9:46
SPEAKER_05: The audio on the the the podcast, the last three podcasts that I've used this on, has been spectacular.
• 10:40
  SPEAKER_05: I'm I'm really happy.
• 10:41
  SPEAKER_05: It's professional sound.
• 10:43
SPEAKER_05: Now, we also took the one that we were using for the that we're using for here, which is still pretty good, but not that professional, and we've applied it now to our YouTube.
• 10:54
SPEAKER_05: So our Facebook, our Facebook still is our little monitor monitors there, still pretty good sound, but we've increased sound.
• 11:01
SPEAKER_05: The other thing that we did is I upgraded from an iPhone, you know, 415 Pro Max to an iPhone.
• 11:09
SPEAKER_05: Actually, I think it was an iPhone 13 Pro Max to an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and that iPhone 17 actually has this feature that CT also has that he don't like.
• 11:21
SPEAKER_05: No, but Matt was telling me he was watching the podcast.
• 11:26
  SPEAKER_05: I can't do that.
• 11:28
  SPEAKER_02: All right, hold on.
• 11:29
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, it automatically zooms in and like it focuses on you as you're talking.
• 12:15
SPEAKER_02: It it it'll adjust the zoom into who is who's doing the podcast.
• 12:19
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
• 12:19
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, which it's okay.
• 12:23
SPEAKER_02: I'm not a fan of it when I'm sitting and doing doing the podcast because it's normal the other day.
• 12:28
SPEAKER_02: And then it goes zzz.
• 12:29
SPEAKER_02: And then if I look down, it backs off and I look up and it's like zp.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_03: I remember the last podcast.
• 12:35
SPEAKER_03: We were having a little bit of fun with it.
• 12:37
  SPEAKER_03: So it's it's different.
• 12:38
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, but but but Matt was just saying how awesome it was because you'd be looking at your dog and it'd be and it would be zoom out, and you'd look, and all of a sudden you'd be like, and start to say something and go, zoo.
• 12:48
  SPEAKER_05: And he's like, What's C T gonna say?
• 12:50
  SPEAKER_05: So he goes, absolutely.
• 12:52
SPEAKER_05: I I mean, I have the ability to do that.
• 12:55
SPEAKER_05: I have not done that.
• 12:56
  SPEAKER_02: I don't even know how mine's doing it.
• 12:58
SPEAKER_02: Oh God, because feature ever, man said.
• 13:03
SPEAKER_05: Just locked up the live on me here.
• 13:06
SPEAKER_05: That's that's that can't, this is just me watching that that can lock up.
• 13:13
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, we probably better get moving into these floors.
• 13:17
SPEAKER_02: They're gonna oxidize sitting there.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_03: You remember that at the Jim Beam dinner?
• 13:24
SPEAKER_03: Where they poured them, or you didn't go?
• 13:25
  SPEAKER_03: I didn't go to that.
• 13:27
SPEAKER_03: Sandy told them they poured them at like one o'clock in the afternoon.
• 13:31
  SPEAKER_03: 1230, 1 o'clock in the afternoon.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_03: She says, I wouldn't do that if I well by the time we got there at dinner, like at 4 30 or 5 o'clock, most of them had either evaporated, turned to vinegar and all, and just Yeah, we we better get drinking, we don't want that to happen.
• 13:47
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 13:48
SPEAKER_05: Well, it was about 90 degrees that day.
• 13:50
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it was and the fan and the ceiling fans on their back porch were on.
• 13:55
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 13:56
SPEAKER_05: So they basically evaporated all the pores, and what were the pores that didn't, they turned.
• 14:01
SPEAKER_05: Which I didn't even know you could do that to whiskey.
• 14:05
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 14:06
SPEAKER_05: I mean, we have the little toppers, which I've used before.
• 14:09
SPEAKER_03: They made it all right.
• 14:11
SPEAKER_05: But yeah, but we've got four to get through, so our bookers are the spread it out.
• 14:15
SPEAKER_03: So so there's I'm not gonna go into reading the batch story because we read the batch stories on these when we when we when we did the actual breakdown of it.
• 14:25
SPEAKER_03: But what I am gonna tell is the name of it, the proof, the release, and how old it is.
• 14:31
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 14:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but not into the what you cause.
• 14:33
SPEAKER_05: But you you but the name of it we we can kind of explain quick because we do know the names, but also also that's the first one we're gonna go in order of how we we obtain these, correct?
• 14:43
SPEAKER_05: We're gonna do the 01, 2, then the reserve, then three.
• 14:48
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 14:48
SPEAKER_03: All right, and and the okay.
• 14:50
SPEAKER_03: The very first one is Barry's batch.
• 14:52
SPEAKER_03: It's the 220 2025-01, and it is a hundred and twenty five point seven proof.
• 15:02
SPEAKER_03: It's seven years, two months, and four days old.
• 15:05
SPEAKER_05: Well, what's really kind of cool though, this came out in 01, which was, I believe, about March.
• 15:10
SPEAKER_05: This was the first one, and it's been open since.
• 15:13
SPEAKER_05: So, what happens a lot of times, like you were talking, CT just now, it oxidizes.
• 15:18
SPEAKER_05: Sometimes, you know, and it gets better in the bottle.
• 15:21
SPEAKER_05: And I find a lot of bookers are that way.
• 15:22
SPEAKER_05: I think I have enough bookers that I could probably drink uh pour a night for the next 30 years, and I'll probably add 30 years.
• 15:34
SPEAKER_05: I got a lot of bookers, yeah.
• 15:35
SPEAKER_03: All the all the way back to 94.
• 15:39
  SPEAKER_05: All right, yeah.
• 15:40
SPEAKER_03: So that's a cherry on the nose on this one.
• 15:43
SPEAKER_05: Alright, so what we'll do is we'll taste through each one, we'll kind of whatever, put each one, we'll get each one in front of us, keeping it, and then when you put it in front of you, you put it right to left for when you do it.
• 15:54
SPEAKER_05: And so we can nose and taste it, and then he keeps and then we'll kind of compare and see, and then we'll rate them ourselves.
• 16:04
  SPEAKER_03: Hey, cheers.
• 16:05
SPEAKER_03: Cheers, bookers bookers of the year, bourbon.
• 16:08
  SPEAKER_05: Yep, bourbon podcast.
• 16:12
  SPEAKER_05: Look at the legs.
• 16:15
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that's insane.
• 16:16
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 16:17
SPEAKER_05: I mean, the body on most I would say almost every single booker's.
• 16:23
SPEAKER_03: I would honestly say that's the viscosity on it.
• 16:28
SPEAKER_05: I'd say on every booker's body is not that body could be almost like like it is up there with a uh because you can have a full up to four, but uh most of them even qualify for a butt-up up because that's one thing.
• 16:42
  SPEAKER_03: It's just a classic booker's finish.
• 16:45
SPEAKER_05: This is what you're comparing all other bodies to.
• 16:48
SPEAKER_02: Sometimes you're like hooky, yeah.
• 16:50
  SPEAKER_05: Nothing too.
• 16:52
  SPEAKER_02: Definitely has the hug.
• 16:55
SPEAKER_05: The hug is what's killing me right off the bat.
• 16:58
  SPEAKER_02: Bye, Rachel.
• 16:58
SPEAKER_02: I'm taking off to go around party errands.
• 17:01
  SPEAKER_02: Hey, wait a second.
• 17:01
SPEAKER_02: Before you leave, can you do us one super big, big, big, big favor?
• 17:06
SPEAKER_02: There's supposedly some bourbon balls that are ready.
• 17:10
SPEAKER_05: Oh, and could the other thing, real quick, is water.
• 17:13
SPEAKER_05: Could you just bring down some water?
• 17:15
SPEAKER_06: Could you have your picture thingy down here or just want me to bring down the water?
• 17:17
  SPEAKER_05: Just bring down anything.
• 17:18
SPEAKER_05: Uh I mean at this point, it would be nice to have some water.
• 17:21
SPEAKER_02: A lot of water down here is tainted with liquor.
• 17:28
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
• 17:29
SPEAKER_02: All right, so so we're gonna go on to batch two then and then come back and is that the plant sounds like taste it.
• 17:38
SPEAKER_03: Taste it, and we'll go.
• 17:39
SPEAKER_03: Batch two is called Buy the Pond Batch.
• 17:42
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's 2025-02.
• 17:46
SPEAKER_03: It is a hundred and twenty-six point five proof, seven years, one month, and twenty days old.
• 17:53
SPEAKER_05: I would say the first one is a lot of brown sugar.
• 17:56
SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
• 17:57
  SPEAKER_05: A lot more.
• 17:58
  SPEAKER_05: There's nothing.
• 17:58
  SPEAKER_05: I don't taste too much.
• 17:59
SPEAKER_05: I don't taste many maybe a dark stone fruit.
• 18:02
  SPEAKER_05: I don't taste cherry too.
• 18:03
  SPEAKER_05: This is it, right?
• 18:04
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
• 18:05
SPEAKER_05: The first one had cherry on the nose right to left over anymore.
• 18:09
SPEAKER_02: So we don't want to mix them up.
• 18:10
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, just like I got them sitting down on the table.
• 18:12
SPEAKER_02: Batch one had cherry on the nose, where this one's got fruit on the nose.
• 18:16
SPEAKER_02: Like a different kind of fruit.
• 18:17
  SPEAKER_05: You are funny, Nash.
• 18:19
SPEAKER_05: Remember that that remember that tail that Weller one we were doing?
• 18:23
SPEAKER_05: And you kind of got a little bit mixed up.
• 18:25
  SPEAKER_05: Oh, we're mixed up.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_05: He was shell, shell gaming me with the with the pores and how he was.
• 18:31
SPEAKER_05: He's like, Yeah, I thought the number three, and it was the number two.
• 18:35
SPEAKER_05: And then I'm like, I know which one you picked, and I know how much you put on it.
• 18:38
SPEAKER_05: And then he's like, No, I did this.
• 18:40
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, no, I'm going with whatever.
• 18:41
SPEAKER_05: And then I went back, and I was completely right.
• 18:44
SPEAKER_02: This one was Walker said that.
• 18:46
SPEAKER_02: Once you get past the fruit on the nose on this one, there's a little bit of a cream frosting kind of nose to it.
• 18:52
SPEAKER_02: Oh, did we just have a dose ecties commercial feature?
• 18:56
SPEAKER_05: Do I he said we just had a dose eckies commercial feature on our well, he's talking about that zoom in, zoom out thing.
• 19:02
  SPEAKER_02: That's like saying that's a dose ecties commercial.
• 19:06
SPEAKER_02: Most interesting man in the world, is what he would say.
• 19:09
SPEAKER_02: I this is uh what do you guys think?
• 19:11
SPEAKER_03: This is almost a like a grapey.
• 19:14
  SPEAKER_03: It's a different fruit now.
• 19:15
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 19:19
  SPEAKER_03: Like grape or raisins?
• 19:21
  SPEAKER_03: I don't I don't know.
• 19:22
  SPEAKER_03: I'll give you that.
• 19:23
  SPEAKER_03: Raisin currants, allspice.
• 19:26
SPEAKER_02: Very different, very different in the batch.
• 19:29
  SPEAKER_02: But yeah.
• 19:31
SPEAKER_02: And it it not no brown sugar.
• 19:35
  SPEAKER_02: Way more fruit.
• 19:37
SPEAKER_05: A lot more oak on on it.
• 19:39
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it's more like the raisin currant, it's more like a festive, like a green raisin.
• 19:43
  SPEAKER_05: Right, right.
• 19:44
SPEAKER_03: This also has a silky, you know, real silky.
• 19:48
SPEAKER_02: I don't think it had the mouthfeel the first one, did, but it's still good.
• 19:51
  SPEAKER_02: Like a silky.
• 19:52
SPEAKER_05: She's bringing down a bowl of water.
• 19:55
  SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.

SPEAKER_03: Seven years, four months, twenty-one days.
• 21:34
SPEAKER_00: So which one's the lowest proof we tasted so far?
• 21:37
SPEAKER_03: This one would be this one.

SPEAKER_05: Do you think that changes the way that it looks down here?
• 22:23
SPEAKER_05: I mean, that is kind of cool.
• 22:25
SPEAKER_05: Do you like how the light reflects onto it above where it almost looks like you're in the Rick House?
• 22:31
SPEAKER_05: Because with a real light.
• 22:32
SPEAKER_02: I think an LED strip all the way around it, so it's like you're at a club.
• 22:37
SPEAKER_05: Like pink lights pink lights.
• 22:39
SPEAKER_05: So we first put up the strips, and you had like five inches before it was finished.
• 22:42
SPEAKER_05: I think you saw the picture, right?
• 22:44
SPEAKER_05: And when you put up one of those chrome poles right there in the middle.

• 23:20

• 23:24
SPEAKER_05: Like payday has the is peanut and nougat.
• 23:27
  SPEAKER_05: But it's yeah, caramel.
• 23:28
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 23:28
SPEAKER_05: This is the there's a candy bar taste there.
• 23:32
SPEAKER_03: That nougat that they use in a zero bar.
• 23:34
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it's a butterfinger.
• 23:37
  SPEAKER_03: The butterfinger.

• 23:55
  SPEAKER_02: That is insane.
• 23:59
SPEAKER_02: Alright, and the reserve which is coming into my wheelhouse.
• 24:03
  SPEAKER_02: Alright.
• 24:05
  SPEAKER_03: The reserves.
• 24:07
SPEAKER_03: That was a special batch this year, 2025 batch.
• 24:12
SPEAKER_03: That was put together by Freddie No.
• 24:15
SPEAKER_03: Tell me what it was a it was a eight years, ten months, eleven days.

• 24:48
  SPEAKER_03: Tesoro, what'd you what'd you hear?
• 24:50
  SPEAKER_03: Tesla Tesla roll.
• 24:52
SPEAKER_05: Is Elon involved with this?
• 24:54
  SPEAKER_05: The Tesla roll?
• 24:55
SPEAKER_05: The Tesla he's got that's where you drink tequila and you drive in a Tesla because you can, because it drives itself.
• 25:03
  SPEAKER_02: I'm guessing that doesn't work too.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_02: If this isn't coming full circle, I don't know what is because I do this all the time, and I mix like a little tequila and bourbon, and Jeff gets beat.
• 25:23
SPEAKER_02: You went in and said it over here.
• 25:25
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 25:25
SPEAKER_02: Jeff gets all mad about it.
• 25:27
SPEAKER_02: And then now it's in your book.
• 25:32
  SPEAKER_05: All right.
• 25:32
SPEAKER_05: I never got mad about it.
• 25:34
SPEAKER_05: I don't like tequila because every time I drink it, I end up feeling like I'm gonna die.
• 25:42
SPEAKER_05: I'm not taking nothing down.
• 25:44
SPEAKER_05: Because you made a misstatement.
• 25:46
  SPEAKER_03: Just calm, calm down.
• 25:48
  SPEAKER_03: It's all over.
• 25:49
  SPEAKER_03: It's in the past.
• 25:50
  SPEAKER_03: Let it go.
• 25:51
SPEAKER_03: We can get past this.
• 25:53
  SPEAKER_03: I can't.
• 25:54
  SPEAKER_05: I can't get past it.
• 25:55
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 25:55
  SPEAKER_05: Actually, you teenage.
• 25:57
SPEAKER_05: So two years later, I I mean, I was uh that Mezcal barrel is still at French Lake.
• 26:03
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I don't know.
• 26:04
SPEAKER_05: It's well, we gotta get down there.
• 26:06
SPEAKER_02: There shouldn't be very much left.
• 26:08
SPEAKER_02: And if there is, because it had 30 freaking drill holes in it.
• 26:14
  SPEAKER_05: Oh no, yeah.
• 26:14
SPEAKER_02: Oh, we jumped out that barrel.
• 26:17
SPEAKER_02: We were in that we did the initial drill on that barrel.
• 26:21
  SPEAKER_02: Very first.
• 26:21
SPEAKER_05: That was that was when we were like, you died, you died and went to hell.
• 26:25
SPEAKER_02: Just it was like, I'll go get a drill.
• 26:29
SPEAKER_03: Your eyes lit up like that Christmas tree.
• 26:32
SPEAKER_02: What's what's really different for me for this is like to stay in Booker's line.
• 26:38
SPEAKER_02: This is so off par with what the Booker's line is.
• 26:43
SPEAKER_02: It's like it doesn't fit, if that makes sense.
• 26:46
SPEAKER_05: It's just well, it's the first ever, it's the first ever finished Booker's.
• 26:51
  SPEAKER_05: I mean, neither does Booker's Rye.
• 26:53
  SPEAKER_05: Booker's Rye has only one 2000.
• 26:56
SPEAKER_05: It's right up here, right, right, right there.
• 26:58
  SPEAKER_05: Booker's Rye 2016 release.
• 27:01
  SPEAKER_05: It's 130 some proof.
• 27:03
SPEAKER_05: Most bookers are not in the 130s, they they have some, but I think it's 134 proof.
• 27:09
SPEAKER_02: It's a 13-year, so they have been known to insert different types of things, but this is like for somebody who like last year's reserve stayed in line with the booker's line, and it was fantastic.
• 27:21
SPEAKER_02: But it's like this, I think for somebody who is looking for a booker's and they're like, oh, the booker's reserve must be the it's totally different.
• 27:28
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, this has really got a peppery finish, and uh in that easy.
• 27:32
SPEAKER_03: That agave is jumping in.
• 27:35
SPEAKER_03: Well, I will say that up on the front, it's got that classic booker's taste.
• 27:40
  SPEAKER_05: Oh, it's there, and it's got a hug.
• 27:42
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 27:43
SPEAKER_05: I mean, it doesn't taste like any tequila finished anything I've ever had.
• 27:47
SPEAKER_05: And I've had tequila finished, I believe, chicken cock had a tequila finish.
• 27:53
SPEAKER_05: You know, we've had a couple of them with different finishes.
• 27:56
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 27:56
  SPEAKER_05: I I and I don't mind a tequila finish, but at what?
• 28:01
SPEAKER_02: I was trying to think of did Pew do a tequila one?
• 28:05
SPEAKER_05: Oh, that would have been pumpkin.
• 28:09
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, the smash and pumpkin.
• 28:10
SPEAKER_05: I thought we drank that.
• 28:11
SPEAKER_05: It didn't it didn't taste like this, though.
• 28:13
  unknown: Yeah.
• 28:14
  SPEAKER_05: Well, no.
• 28:14
  SPEAKER_05: This is insane.
• 28:15
SPEAKER_05: This is so now one thing I'll say after drinking all and tasting and nosing all four.
• 28:20
SPEAKER_03: It's gonna be all the Christmas gift.
• 28:22
  SPEAKER_03: It was nice here.
• 28:23
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 28:23
SPEAKER_03: But look behind you at the awesome thing that right behind you on the wall.
• 28:27
SPEAKER_03: Paul Paul left Paul's crazy.
• 28:29
SPEAKER_05: But look at the label that Paul signed right there with Alice and Chains.
• 28:32
SPEAKER_05: That he gave me that Nash gave me that in a in a frame.
• 28:35
  SPEAKER_05: And that's okay.
• 28:36
  SPEAKER_02: I won't.
• 28:36
SPEAKER_02: I that's probably people talk about bottles you open and you won't open.
• 28:40
  SPEAKER_02: Like I opened everything.
• 28:41
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I did too.
• 28:42
  SPEAKER_02: That bottle, I don't think I'm gonna open.
• 28:45
SPEAKER_02: It's just that bottle's just too cool.
• 28:46
SPEAKER_05: I have I have one opened and one unopened.
• 28:49
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 28:50
SPEAKER_05: I got two of them.
• 28:50
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 28:51
SPEAKER_05: So I've got to do that.
• 28:52
SPEAKER_05: It was real cool the way he could get the book.
• 28:55
SPEAKER_05: What I would like about that one is that I would like to get the band assigned to it.
• 29:00
SPEAKER_05: You know, so so one of the things I'm gonna announce, and we could do it here on is that in 2026, Scotchy Bourbon Boys, our goal, our number one goal is to it's gonna be the year of the celebrity.
• 29:13
SPEAKER_05: I am going to be relentless trying to book guests with celebrities.
• 29:17
SPEAKER_05: But if I'm booking celebrity guests, I need my celebrity guys on.
• 29:22
SPEAKER_05: So if there's sometimes if I have, you know, let's just say I have the lead singer of Smashing Pumpkins on, you gotta be on, you guys.
• 29:30
  SPEAKER_05: You just gotta.
• 29:32
  SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
• 29:32
  SPEAKER_02: Same thing.
• 29:33
SPEAKER_02: Probably find my find myself, you know, on that pretty easily.
• 29:39
  SPEAKER_02: Me too.
• 29:40
  SPEAKER_05: Me too.
• 29:41
SPEAKER_05: Or if we or if we have Jim Jim try and get Jim Gaffigan on, we're gonna try and we're gonna try and get I'll drive to Jim Gaffigan's house.

  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 30:00
  SPEAKER_02: I'm like it's it's all right.
• 30:02
SPEAKER_02: So we gotta go through how how are we are we breaking these down to our face.
• 30:06
SPEAKER_05: All right, so what we're gonna do is we're gonna put them in order.
• 30:09
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
• 30:10
  SPEAKER_05: They're already in order.
• 30:11
  SPEAKER_05: No, no, no.
• 30:12
SPEAKER_05: We have them in order.
• 30:13
SPEAKER_05: Don't move them out, but rate each one one, two in order.
• 30:16
SPEAKER_05: Give each one a one, two, three, or four, how you rate it.
• 30:20
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 30:20
SPEAKER_05: And then we're gonna add them all up, divide them by three, and whatever one comes out, that's our bookers of the year.
• 30:26

  SPEAKER_02: He's gonna take it.
• 31:31
  SPEAKER_02: Alright, here we go.
• 31:32
SPEAKER_05: This is gonna be tough.
• 31:33
  SPEAKER_05: I'm gonna do that.
• 31:34
SPEAKER_05: But I will say, like what I was saying to you guys is that one, two, in in order of one, two, three, and four, I'm amazed at how much they all group together.
• 31:45
  SPEAKER_05: Like they're very similar.
• 31:48
SPEAKER_05: When I was tasting them individually off the original pork, you know, cracks, I felt they were different this year.
• 31:57
SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
• 31:57
SPEAKER_05: I thought they were all good, but I thought they were different.
• 32:02
SPEAKER_05: Oh, you're gonna do a video of the Scotchy Bourbon Boys bookers?
• 32:06

• 32:15
  SPEAKER_05: What?
• 32:16
  SPEAKER_04: What?

• 32:19
  SPEAKER_04: Where's where's purple?
• 32:21
SPEAKER_04: There was no teal in purple.

• 32:51
SPEAKER_02: I just got to that point.
• 32:52
  SPEAKER_05: You just click it.
• 32:53
SPEAKER_05: No! No, no, there is no point.
• 32:56
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 32:58
  SPEAKER_02: Next one.

  SPEAKER_05: That blew my mind.
• 33:10
unknown: I did not know it.
• 33:12
  SPEAKER_05: Thank you.
• 33:13
  SPEAKER_05: All right.
• 33:13
SPEAKER_05: Do you think Andy knew that?
• 33:15
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 33:16
  SPEAKER_05: I mean, what I'm okay here.
• 33:18
SPEAKER_05: I love the the comments on YouTube.
• 33:20
SPEAKER_05: They uh YouTube, you know, Facebook has such good people come in and they jump in and they talk, and they we got group members talking, but YouTube has has some that you're actually worse than Alex Jones.
• 33:33
SPEAKER_05: I mean, it is the meanest bastards.
• 33:37
  SPEAKER_05: I don't even know Alex Jones.
• 33:38
  SPEAKER_05: I don't know what he's talking about.
• 33:39
  SPEAKER_05: Obviously, we're horrible.
• 33:41
SPEAKER_05: But at the same time, no, don't even talk about that one.
• 33:44
SPEAKER_05: That one is just like, I mean, I read this stuff and it like it's mostly off, it's like it's totally off character.
• 33:53
SPEAKER_05: It's all like all of a sudden, because we're not one thing we're not on this is political, but they are just the all the comments are as if somehow, I mean, they don't know we're rednecks.
• 34:02
SPEAKER_05: My my neck maybe during the summer it might be, but not now.
• 34:08
  SPEAKER_05: I'm more of what?
• 34:10
  SPEAKER_05: What would this be?
• 34:14
  SPEAKER_02: No comment.
• 34:15
  SPEAKER_03: No comment.
• 34:18
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we're we're keeping this uh strictly uh two of these here.
• 34:24
SPEAKER_03: What are we uh so are we rating?
• 34:26
SPEAKER_03: I'm already I'm already writing down the numbers of mine.
• 34:28
SPEAKER_03: We gotta get caught up here.
• 34:30
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 34:31
SPEAKER_03: I'm just having a hard time between my one and two.
• 34:36
  SPEAKER_03: Because they're close.
• 34:42
SPEAKER_05: Your number one is between one and two?
• 34:46
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 34:59
SPEAKER_05: The hardest part to compare is you need the water in between.
• 35:02
SPEAKER_05: It destroys, it's such high proof, it just and there's so much flavor, it just completely destroys your palate.
• 35:12
SPEAKER_02: Between the altering with the water, you can feel the dryness in the tongue the next round.
• 35:17
SPEAKER_03: It's just how are they so close?
• 35:21
  SPEAKER_03: They're so good.
• 35:21
  SPEAKER_03: They're all good.
• 35:22
SPEAKER_03: If this blind you said that we would be screwed.
• 35:25
  SPEAKER_01: The what dryness?
• 35:27
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 35:27
SPEAKER_02: That uh if this was a blind, we would totally be screwed.
• 35:38
SPEAKER_02: It's got a different finish to it though.
• 35:43
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, I got that.
• 35:52
  SPEAKER_05: Wow.
• 35:54
SPEAKER_05: Even the tequila finish has all condensed.
• 36:05
SPEAKER_05: All right, uh do you want mine?
• 36:07
  SPEAKER_05: I got mine.
• 36:10
SPEAKER_05: Are you gonna uh are we gonna try and convince each other?
• 36:15
SPEAKER_05: I mean, the faster we do this CT, the faster you get at those.
• 36:20
  SPEAKER_02: I'm eating like I'm playing tic-tac-toe with those.
• 36:23
  SPEAKER_05: All right, that's fine.
• 36:27
SPEAKER_03: You know, I'm gonna hand you this and you write you write the numbers down.
• 36:31
  SPEAKER_03: For okay.
• 36:32
SPEAKER_03: As to what you rate them under which what it is.
• 36:35
  SPEAKER_03: Don't look at mine.
• 36:37
  SPEAKER_03: Stop looking at mine.
• 36:38
  SPEAKER_05: I wasn't looking at yours.
• 36:40
SPEAKER_03: You're right way at the top.
• 36:42
SPEAKER_03: See where your name is.
• 36:44
  SPEAKER_03: It says tiny.
• 36:45
  SPEAKER_03: You're writing under C T's name.
• 36:52
  SPEAKER_05: Screw you.
• 36:54
  SPEAKER_03: The alpha is hard.
• 36:58
  SPEAKER_05: Thanks, C T.
• 37:08
SPEAKER_02: This is harder than I thought it would be.
• 37:10
  SPEAKER_05: It's way harder.
• 37:12
SPEAKER_05: Tell me one and two aren't aren't the same batch.
• 37:16
SPEAKER_03: That's they're so I had them down between them.
• 37:21
SPEAKER_02: Back in and trying to figure out that literally on that drink took the dryness out of the inside of my gum.
• 37:35
SPEAKER_02: I drank it, but it went up through the inside of my lip and it like dried out that.
• 37:40
  SPEAKER_02: I was like shit.
• 37:41
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 37:42
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 37:42
  SPEAKER_03: That's mine.
• 37:43
  SPEAKER_03: That's that's why that's why it made me.
• 37:45
  SPEAKER_03: I'm causing controversy.
• 37:47
SPEAKER_03: When you said that, and I can I can taste that.
• 37:49
  SPEAKER_05: I'm causing controversy.
• 37:53
  SPEAKER_03: You always do.
• 37:54
SPEAKER_03: It's but we overlook it.
• 37:56
SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's part of that rating, is how I I put them.
• 38:00
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 38:00
  SPEAKER_03: You did it quick.
• 38:02
  SPEAKER_02: I had it already.
• 38:03
SPEAKER_02: I knew, I knew what mine was.
• 38:06
SPEAKER_02: So add them all up.
• 38:07
  SPEAKER_02: What?
• 38:08
  SPEAKER_02: This is 3.5 and a 3.5.
• 38:12
SPEAKER_03: No, no, we're not rating them as far as number.
• 38:14
SPEAKER_03: You put them in the order of one, one, two, three, or four.
• 38:18
  SPEAKER_03: Nope.
• 38:19
  SPEAKER_02: That's what I did.
• 38:19
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I did.
• 38:20
  SPEAKER_02: That's bottom glass.
• 38:21
SPEAKER_05: I did one, two, you, you, yeah, one point you rated it.
• 38:26
SPEAKER_05: The last two get get the same.
• 38:28
  SPEAKER_03: I can't tell the tone.
• 38:30
  SPEAKER_03: I just did it.
• 38:31
SPEAKER_03: No, that don't coincide with what we're doing.
• 38:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you're no, you did one, two, you did it right.
• 38:36
SPEAKER_03: No, you add them up.
• 38:39
  SPEAKER_03: You failed the assignment.
• 38:40
SPEAKER_03: You gave it assignments in your own assignment.
• 38:45
  SPEAKER_03: My it's the assignment.
• 38:46
  SPEAKER_03: I did my assignment.
• 38:47
  SPEAKER_03: I didn't know.
• 38:48
SPEAKER_03: I was the one that came up with this to find the paper.
• 38:50
SPEAKER_03: I gave you the pattern.
• 38:54
  SPEAKER_03: Absolutely not.
• 38:59
  SPEAKER_03: Where's the mallet?
• 39:01
SPEAKER_03: All right, so 03 and the reserves are both two.
• 39:06
SPEAKER_03: No, you rate them one, and this is the one.
• 39:09
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, instead of one, two, three, four, three, four.
• 39:11
SPEAKER_05: And I rated them one, two, three point five, three point five.
• 39:15
  SPEAKER_03: I can't no, I can't decide.
• 39:16
  SPEAKER_03: One, two, three, four.
• 39:18
SPEAKER_03: I did one, two, three point five, three.
• 39:20
SPEAKER_03: Three point five, three point five, two, and two.
• 39:23
  SPEAKER_05: One and two.
• 39:25
SPEAKER_05: Can you see a two and two?
• 39:26
SPEAKER_05: No, the first one, three is a one.
• 39:28
  SPEAKER_05: That's a one, a professional one.
• 39:31
SPEAKER_05: One, two, three point five, three point five.
• 39:34
SPEAKER_02: That, ladies and gentlemen, is a three.
• 39:36
  SPEAKER_02: What?
• 39:37
SPEAKER_02: There's no professional one about the first number in that.
• 39:40
SPEAKER_04: It is a no, no, that's three point five and three point five, one and two.
• 39:44
SPEAKER_04: No, you're not all right.
• 39:45
SPEAKER_04: It's exactly the same as we ain't getting.
• 39:51
  SPEAKER_04: Three.
• 39:52
  SPEAKER_04: Three is number one.
• 39:54
  SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay.
• 39:55
  SPEAKER_04: Four is number two.
• 39:56
SPEAKER_04: Hold on a second, but then we're gonna put that.
• 39:57
SPEAKER_04: So that's and then one and two are three point five.
• 40:01
  SPEAKER_03: That was Z.
• 40:02
SPEAKER_03: He rated the reserve as Z.
• 40:04
  SPEAKER_04: Stop erasing it.
• 40:06
  SPEAKER_04: I'm not that.
• 40:07
SPEAKER_03: I'm going to write it down so it's legible, so everybody can.
• 40:11
SPEAKER_03: And I can add it.
• 40:12
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know how to add a Z to eight.
• 40:15
SPEAKER_02: Some algebra shit going on this year.
• 40:20
  SPEAKER_02: Z equals eight.
• 40:22
  SPEAKER_03: What the shit?
• 40:23
  SPEAKER_03: Reserves is two, right?
• 40:26
  SPEAKER_03: One.
• 40:27
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, this is that.
• 40:28
  SPEAKER_03: That's like a stick figure.
• 40:29
  SPEAKER_03: One.
• 40:30
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, you did.
• 40:31
  SPEAKER_05: I did a real one.
• 40:33
SPEAKER_05: The little thing with the little bottom thing.
• 40:35
  SPEAKER_05: Now, how do I 3.5, 3.5.
• 40:37
  SPEAKER_05: I mean, I'm which one's four.
• 40:40
  SPEAKER_05: I no, they're tied.
• 40:41
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 40:41
  SPEAKER_05: I'm giving each one a half.
• 40:43
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 40:44
  SPEAKER_05: No, I can't.
• 40:45
  SPEAKER_01: No, this no.
• 40:46
SPEAKER_01: Wait, how come you can make this shit up?
• 40:49
SPEAKER_01: I've got the pattern of the We said we were gonna rate them one, two, three, and four.
• 40:54
  SPEAKER_01: I could score.
• 40:55
  SPEAKER_01: Not by scores.
• 40:56
  SPEAKER_01: You can't rate them.
• 40:57
SPEAKER_05: No, but then we rate don't ring rate them.
• 40:59
SPEAKER_05: Then we add up the numbers, and whoever has the least amount of numbers is the number one.
• 41:04
SPEAKER_02: But but the thing is, is by having an odd number, it makes it to where if you pick that as one and I pick that as one and Nash picks that as one, then one would win because there's two people.
• 41:16
  SPEAKER_05: No, no, no.
• 41:17
SPEAKER_05: You add the numbers up, and then whatever has the most, whatever has the most is the worst.
• 41:25
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna have to decide between one and two whether it's a four or a three.
• 41:32
  SPEAKER_05: It's just I can't do it.
• 41:33
SPEAKER_05: It gets three point five from me.
• 41:34
SPEAKER_03: So that means you're saying the way you're doing the scale, I'm saying if you do add them all up.
• 41:43
SPEAKER_03: You're saying two to three batches, your number one pick.
• 41:46
SPEAKER_03: Reserves is your number two pick.
• 41:48
  SPEAKER_03: It gets two.
• 41:48
SPEAKER_03: And then the other two gets three point five.
• 41:50
  SPEAKER_05: So that's a three or a four.
• 41:51
  SPEAKER_05: Why?
• 41:52
SPEAKER_05: Because look at, look at.
• 41:53
SPEAKER_05: I'll show just let me show you.
• 41:55
  SPEAKER_05: No, okay.
• 41:56
SPEAKER_05: So right now, so right now O three has got seven.
• 41:59
SPEAKER_05: Taste each one of those.
• 42:00
  SPEAKER_05: Reserves has what's this?
• 42:02
  SPEAKER_02: A four.
• 42:03
  SPEAKER_02: This is your fourth.
• 42:04
  SPEAKER_02: Wait a minute.
• 42:05
  SPEAKER_02: It's my fourth pick.
• 42:06
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 42:07
  SPEAKER_02: It's in fourth place.
• 42:08
SPEAKER_05: But it but total number that would mean eight, nine, ten.
• 42:12
SPEAKER_05: So this is the highest.
• 42:13
  SPEAKER_05: This is seven.
• 42:14
SPEAKER_05: Now look at the O two is three point five, four point five, five point five.
• 42:19
SPEAKER_05: And this one is this one is three point five, five point five, seven point five.
• 42:23
SPEAKER_05: So number one is oh two.
• 42:25
SPEAKER_05: Number two, this is seven point five, and this is seven.
• 42:28
SPEAKER_05: So three is two, and then this would be three, and reserves is four.
• 42:33
  SPEAKER_05: No, I'm being fair.
• 42:34
SPEAKER_02: When did you use the scale?
• 42:35
SPEAKER_02: Because look three and a half.
• 42:37
  SPEAKER_02: What's the scale?
• 42:38
SPEAKER_05: It was I I gave this a three, and this this is four for a total of seven, and I gave each one three point five for a total of seven.
• 42:45
SPEAKER_03: Look, I'm gonna show you where that's gonna be messed up.
• 42:48
SPEAKER_03: If you use the scale, this would be seven.
• 42:52
SPEAKER_03: This would be six, seven, six, seven for oh three.
• 42:57
SPEAKER_05: No, that's seven point five.
• 42:59
  SPEAKER_05: And then ten.
• 43:00
SPEAKER_05: That's seven point five on the first one.
• 43:02
SPEAKER_05: Because I give it a three point five.
• 43:05
SPEAKER_05: So seven point five on the first one, two is got just two.
• 43:09
  SPEAKER_03: Five point five.
• 43:10
SPEAKER_03: So two is the pick.
• 43:11
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but that's what that's that's what I'm saying.
• 43:13
  SPEAKER_03: That's that's that's totally wrong.
• 43:15
  SPEAKER_03: I think No, it isn't.
• 43:16
SPEAKER_04: It still comes up with exactly what you guys want.
• 43:19
  SPEAKER_04: What the shit?
• 43:21
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 43:21
SPEAKER_03: The reserves is the pick.
• 43:22
  SPEAKER_03: It's the highest number.
• 43:23
  SPEAKER_05: Well, no, the lowest.
• 43:25
SPEAKER_05: The lowest number is what gets it, because number one gets the lowest.
• 43:28
  SPEAKER_05: It's like golf.
• 43:28
  SPEAKER_05: He didn't do that.
• 43:29
SPEAKER_05: And reserves is, yeah, the reserves is last.
• 43:31
SPEAKER_02: This is like a golf handicap.
• 43:33
SPEAKER_02: I don't actually the negative number win.
• 43:35
SPEAKER_05: Why is this so hard?
• 43:37
  SPEAKER_05: It's true.
• 43:38
  SPEAKER_05: It's crazy.
• 43:39
  SPEAKER_05: No, me giving a three-point pick.
• 43:42
SPEAKER_02: So what's crazy amongst all this before everybody on Facebook and YouTube says, all right, this is stupid.
• 43:48
SPEAKER_05: No, no, no, it increased all the numbers.
• 43:50
SPEAKER_05: We're arguing arguing boom reserve was our least favorite of the batches.
• 43:57
SPEAKER_05: Collectively, we picked that as the least favorite because that was your least favorite.
• 44:03
SPEAKER_05: Mine was was the what you picked as number one.
• 44:07
  SPEAKER_03: We're here collectively.
• 44:08
SPEAKER_03: So collectively, the reserves sucks.
• 44:11
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, two was the winner.
• 44:13
  SPEAKER_02: Two.
• 44:13
  SPEAKER_02: Two.
• 44:14
  SPEAKER_02: I know.
• 44:15
SPEAKER_02: The one that smelled like a rickhouse.
• 44:16
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 44:17
SPEAKER_05: The one that you both gave, that I gave a 3.5.
• 44:21
SPEAKER_03: I'm putting this out there to everybody.
• 44:23
SPEAKER_03: We have come up with a winner for our bookers of the year.
• 44:27
SPEAKER_03: So this batch is called Accords of Tiny Tiny Scale.
• 44:34
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that's why I gave it a 3.5 because they both gave it, they both gave it their number one, and I gave it 3.5 because I can because they taste rickhouse and I taste pond wise.
• 44:44
SPEAKER_03: You don't have to explain it no more.
• 44:47
SPEAKER_02: Jeff, Jeff can't read labels and then get assessments because he goes based on the label.
• 44:52
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 44:53
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 44:54
SPEAKER_02: So by the pond is kind of an odd name, but I'm sure it has a good backstory.
• 44:59
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
• 44:59
SPEAKER_02: What was crazy is this one was what, seven years?
• 45:03
SPEAKER_05: In a seven year, this thing has a really first come out, before you drink them, they seem to all have this year batched together.
• 45:17
SPEAKER_05: Even even the general taste of the of the tequila batch, which you guys were giving fours out.
• 45:25
SPEAKER_02: I didn't like it as much as one and two.
• 45:27
SPEAKER_05: But but even that batch, that first finished booker's, it still tastes similar.
• 45:35
SPEAKER_03: I'm getting that tequila finish, that peppery tequila finish.
• 45:38
SPEAKER_03: You know, is overriding that booker's bourbon.
• 45:41
SPEAKER_03: When we started so that's why that's why I put it as a four.
• 45:44
  SPEAKER_03: It's not that I don't like it.
• 45:46
SPEAKER_02: So when we started that was my rated four, one of my favorite notes, which is brown sugar.
• 45:51
SPEAKER_02: That's something I find in wild turkeys age product.
• 45:55
  SPEAKER_02: I love brown sugar.
• 45:56
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 45:56
SPEAKER_02: And then we drank two and nosed and everything, and it was like, oh, it's a little like a fruit.
• 46:01
SPEAKER_02: We even talked about like a grape note that you had.
• 46:04
SPEAKER_02: But then when you came back through them, two really came up and was like, holy crap!
• 46:10
  SPEAKER_03: Sweetness in it.
• 46:11
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 46:11
  SPEAKER_03: It's come back out.
• 46:13
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 46:14
SPEAKER_02: So it it is just that's I I think in a blind it would be fun, but I still think that the reserve would be.
• 46:21
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
• 46:21
SPEAKER_03: If we if we had somebody somebody up here and we had time, we would blind the we would blind one and two.
• 46:29
SPEAKER_03: Or actually, no, we would be blind.
• 46:31
  SPEAKER_03: We'd like later today.
• 46:32
SPEAKER_03: No, we would be blinding one and three.
• 46:36
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 46:37
SPEAKER_05: No, we would be blinding two and three.
• 46:40
SPEAKER_05: Five point five and seven.
• 46:43
SPEAKER_05: One is one is seven point five.
• 46:44
SPEAKER_02: We might do it later just for the yeah.
• 46:48
SPEAKER_03: Now but see, if you would have gone by the regular score, then it would have been seven and seven for one and three.
• 46:57
  SPEAKER_03: No, it wouldn't have.
• 46:58
SPEAKER_03: Yes, it would have been eight for one.
• 47:00
SPEAKER_03: It would have been you would have given it a four.
• 47:02
SPEAKER_05: I would have given one to four, I would have given it two to three, and I would have given the one and two, whatever, which would have made it six for two.
• 47:13
  SPEAKER_05: Yep.
• 47:15
SPEAKER_05: Wait, if I three, four, five, six, seven.
• 47:17
SPEAKER_05: No, I would have made this eight, and this would have been three.
• 47:20
SPEAKER_05: So it would have been five for two, eight four, one, seven, four, three, and ten for reserves.
• 47:26
SPEAKER_05: So that's what it would have been.
• 47:27
SPEAKER_05: But by giving it three buttons.
• 47:32
  SPEAKER_05: No camera.
• 47:32
  SPEAKER_05: That's if I would have done it, but I wasn't.
• 47:34
SPEAKER_05: They were too close together.
• 47:35
SPEAKER_05: I couldn't freaking tell tell the difference.
• 47:37
SPEAKER_05: I cannot tell the difference between one and two.
• 47:39
  SPEAKER_05: Drink some water.
• 47:40
  SPEAKER_02: Wait a minute.
• 47:40
  SPEAKER_02: Let us help you.
• 47:41
  SPEAKER_02: You can.
• 47:41
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 47:42
  SPEAKER_05: You can.
• 47:43
SPEAKER_05: At this point, you can't.
• 47:47
SPEAKER_02: I will tell you what did it for me.
• 47:48
SPEAKER_02: The difference was is the dryness in one is so strong.
• 47:53
  SPEAKER_02: It came.
• 47:54
SPEAKER_02: And it's still, like I just drank on the floor.
• 47:57
SPEAKER_05: So this one lacks that dryhouse.
• 48:01
SPEAKER_05: And this one has a little bit more char.
• 48:03
  SPEAKER_05: Dry hook or dry.
• 48:04
  SPEAKER_05: But the base.
• 48:05
SPEAKER_05: The base goes dry, like you said, but then, and then this one goes, but they're so close together.
• 48:12
SPEAKER_05: If you like char or you don't, but but they're but they're great bookers.
• 48:17
SPEAKER_05: But then you go to this one.
• 48:18
  SPEAKER_02: I like three.
• 48:20
  SPEAKER_02: I think three's a good.
• 48:23
SPEAKER_05: And three is way more mellow.
• 48:27
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 48:27
SPEAKER_05: It's the mellowest of all of them.
• 48:30
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and there's no, and there's no char, but there's no dryness.
• 48:33
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 48:33
  SPEAKER_05: So these are conventional.
• 48:35
SPEAKER_05: So I understand why you guys make this number one, number two, why that became one-one for you guys.
• 48:41
SPEAKER_05: Because you guys like when you get a big, you like that little bit of char.
• 48:46
SPEAKER_02: You know what I like is butter, and I didn't get butter on any of these.
• 48:49
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 48:50
  SPEAKER_03: I agree.
• 48:51
SPEAKER_02: If you get butter, but I got Amish butter upstairs.
• 48:55
SPEAKER_02: I got a bottle in the car that's got it there.
• 48:57
SPEAKER_03: If you got butter and frosting together, I got you.
• 49:01
SPEAKER_03: And then that bread note.
• 49:02
  SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
• 49:03
SPEAKER_03: Let me get out of here.
• 49:04
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna go get it.
• 49:05
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 49:05
SPEAKER_05: Well, we're almost what we're talking about.
• 49:09
  SPEAKER_02: So let's let's uh bottle.
• 49:12
SPEAKER_02: I wrote butter on the bottle.
• 49:14
  SPEAKER_05: What did you do?
• 49:15
SPEAKER_05: What did you do with the little clicky thing?
• 49:17
SPEAKER_05: Did I put it on the clicky light?
• 49:19
SPEAKER_05: Where did we do it?
• 49:19
SPEAKER_05: The light you had last.
• 49:21
  SPEAKER_05: Oh, here it is.
• 49:22
  SPEAKER_05: All right, so let's.
• 49:23
SPEAKER_05: What color is the label for two?
• 49:26
  SPEAKER_05: Blue?
• 49:27
  SPEAKER_05: Blue.
• 49:27
SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah, let's go blue.
• 49:30
SPEAKER_05: Put her on top of there.
• 49:31
SPEAKER_05: No, put the put the bottle on top and see what happens.
• 49:34
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, let's let's see what happens exactly.
• 49:36
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 49:37
  SPEAKER_03: Not much.
• 49:38
SPEAKER_03: Turn it, turn the bookers and the label towards the camera.
• 49:41
SPEAKER_05: Well, that would be for the camera, and I'd have to get this out of it.
• 49:47
SPEAKER_05: There's everybody on the camera.
• 49:49
SPEAKER_05: But let's have CT take a picture.
• 49:52
  SPEAKER_02: Uh-oh.
• 49:54
  SPEAKER_05: I got it.
• 49:55
  SPEAKER_05: I got it.
• 49:56
  SPEAKER_03: Move that pencil.
• 50:00
SPEAKER_05: Here you are, pencil neck.
• 50:02
  SPEAKER_03: Wow.
• 50:03
  SPEAKER_03: I know I got a red wow.
• 50:05
  SPEAKER_03: I'm a redneck, not a pencil neck.
• 50:07
  SPEAKER_03: It's still yours.
• 50:09
  SPEAKER_03: No, I don't want it.
• 50:10
SPEAKER_05: Look at my pad of paper.
• 50:12
  SPEAKER_05: Pine 60th.
• 50:13
  SPEAKER_05: That's already.
• 50:15
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, coaster of a paper.
• 50:16
  SPEAKER_03: Hey, everyone.
• 50:17
SPEAKER_03: Well, you need to write on the bottom bookers of the ear.
• 50:19
  SPEAKER_03: Let me do it.
• 50:19
  SPEAKER_03: I got a better, better legibility.
• 50:21
  SPEAKER_05: Really?
• 50:22
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 50:22
SPEAKER_05: This right there is better?
• 50:24
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 50:25
  SPEAKER_02: Well, the pencil.
• 50:27
SPEAKER_02: At least you won't be using halves and algebraic equations.
• 50:31
  SPEAKER_03: These.
• 50:36
  SPEAKER_03: This is a two.
• 50:37
  SPEAKER_03: It's a two.
• 50:41
SPEAKER_03: By the pond or on the pond?
• 50:43
  SPEAKER_03: By the pond.
• 50:44
  SPEAKER_03: By the pond.
• 50:49
SPEAKER_03: Let's everybody raise a glass to our bookers of the year.
• 50:52
  SPEAKER_03: Batch number two one.
• 50:54
  SPEAKER_03: Batch number two.
• 50:56
  SPEAKER_03: By the pond.
• 50:58
  SPEAKER_03: By the pond.
• 50:58
  SPEAKER_03: Cheers.
• 50:59
  SPEAKER_03: Cheers.
• 50:59
SPEAKER_05: That's our bookers of the year.
• 51:01
SPEAKER_05: It could change because we hadn't done that.
• 51:04
SPEAKER_05: We're gonna do number four, and then we will blind that with once four's out, which is phantom pipes, we will blind it with this one now that we've come up and see if it can take over, but we'll all be on that.
• 51:17
  SPEAKER_03: Alright?
• 51:18
SPEAKER_03: So and that will be done at a later date when we all get the batches right.
• 51:29
SPEAKER_05: Alright, so I quick will end this.
• 51:31
SPEAKER_05: I will throw out so we've we've got that.
• 51:36
SPEAKER_05: That's uh the old Louisville whiskey company, bottle bottle barrel bottle breakdown competition.
• 51:45
SPEAKER_05: Compet uh bookers of the year competition.
• 51:48
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 51:49
SPEAKER_05: We broke down all four.
• 51:51
SPEAKER_05: We put it out there, and we got so it's so weird because I always usually go by what level my bottles are, you know, and if you look at the level, and then I usually say whatever the levels are is usually where my number one is.
• 52:06
SPEAKER_03: You can't do that this time.
• 52:07
SPEAKER_05: Well, I can because my number one was Jerry's batch, and you can see that I had that baby, that baby's down to the label.
• 52:14
  SPEAKER_05: It's good.
• 52:15
  SPEAKER_05: It's good.
• 52:16
SPEAKER_05: This one's above the label, that one's below the nice too.
• 52:21
  SPEAKER_05: Thank you.
• 52:22
  SPEAKER_05: Me too.
• 52:23
SPEAKER_02: So I guess send it to everybody.
• 52:26
SPEAKER_05: So we so we are going to take a break.
• 52:29
SPEAKER_05: We're gonna get some lunch, and we will be back at two o'clock.
• 52:33
SPEAKER_05: Now, if John, Matt, and Walker want to come down for the two o'clock for our bourbon of the year, I will tell you that right now what's we're gonna do a booker's blend for the final final tasting of this podcast.
• 52:47
SPEAKER_05: If you'll do that, but we're gonna talk about the book our bourbons of the year.
• 52:51
SPEAKER_05: So Roxy has in so let's let's grab them out.
• 52:56
  SPEAKER_02: Yesterday texted.
• 52:59
SPEAKER_02: Look what time I got a return message.
• 53:01
  SPEAKER_03: Who?
• 53:02
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
• 53:03
  SPEAKER_02: 12 o'clock!
• 53:04
  SPEAKER_03: Why?
• 53:05
SPEAKER_03: Why would he do that to you?
• 53:06
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 53:06
SPEAKER_03: Who are we talking about?
• 53:07
  SPEAKER_02: You the Jeffs.
• 53:09
  SPEAKER_05: The Jeffs?
• 53:10
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 53:11
  SPEAKER_05: Really?
• 53:12
SPEAKER_05: You're gonna give me crap while I'm on the road.
• 53:17
SPEAKER_05: Oh, last night I know you I texted you last night at 12 for a chardonnay.
• 53:21
  SPEAKER_05: Yes, I didn't see the text.
• 53:23
SPEAKER_05: I know you have hands full of things.
• 53:24
  SPEAKER_05: But I figured.
• 53:25
SPEAKER_02: What's hilarious is Rachel and I decided that the you can't text Jeff on one phone or the other.
• 53:31
SPEAKER_02: You have to text the Jeff's.
• 53:33
SPEAKER_02: So we put him together in a that's what I'm gonna have to do because I'm tired of text.
• 53:37
  SPEAKER_02: I'll text one guy.
• 53:38
SPEAKER_03: Yes, it's the greatest thing.
• 53:39
SPEAKER_03: And then some, you know, an hour or two later, I'll get another text from the other Jeff's phone.
• 53:44
  SPEAKER_03: It doesn't work.
• 53:45
SPEAKER_05: What still doesn't work is like here's my favorite.
• 53:48
SPEAKER_05: Let's just go off of the favorite YouTube comment.
• 53:51
SPEAKER_05: There were some really good ones.
• 53:53
SPEAKER_05: There was a couple ones that just said like I like the one Chris Carlson is watching.
• 53:57
SPEAKER_05: Okay, so here's the one, here's the first one.
• 54:01
  SPEAKER_05: Cheers, everyone.
• 54:02
  SPEAKER_05: Haven't grabbed the 2025 bookers yet.
• 54:04
  SPEAKER_05: That's Thomas Anderson.
• 54:06
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and really.
• 54:07
SPEAKER_05: And then stay and stay gold, drink two for me, cheers.
• 54:10
  SPEAKER_05: So we get that.
• 54:11
SPEAKER_05: But my favorite pot my favorite comment of all.
• 54:17
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.
• 54:18
SPEAKER_05: I'll do two and three.
• 54:19
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna do a little bit of two.
• 54:22
SPEAKER_02: A little bit of one.
• 54:24
  SPEAKER_02: Let's see.
• 54:26
SPEAKER_05: Okay, there was one and the three.
• 54:28
SPEAKER_02: Because three was a little flat, so but I liked it.
• 54:32
  SPEAKER_05: But let's I mean, I just don't understand.
• 54:35
SPEAKER_05: Where does this come from?
• 54:36
SPEAKER_05: He shoved his mighty purple head warrior D.
• 54:41
  SPEAKER_05: Don't finish.
• 54:42
SPEAKER_05: But like I said, where does that come from?
• 54:44
  SPEAKER_05: Where are we talking?
• 54:45
SPEAKER_05: And then then that's just stupid.
• 54:47
SPEAKER_05: Okay, and then your act Nick, this was the guy who made the comments that we were talking about were the Jews, whatever, whatever.
• 54:58
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, but then but then but then my favorite comment of all is my balls itch.
• 55:07
  SPEAKER_05: No, like where why?
• 55:10
  SPEAKER_05: Why?
• 55:11
  SPEAKER_05: Why?
• 55:11
  SPEAKER_05: What's the purpose?
• 55:13
  SPEAKER_05: I mean, I don't understand to get somebody's attention.
• 55:16
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they're trying to get your goat.
• 55:18
  SPEAKER_05: That's I don't get my goat.
• 55:20
SPEAKER_05: It just amuses me the whole time.
• 55:21
SPEAKER_05: But if you want if you really want to get my goat, just say make the statement booker sucks.
• 55:28
SPEAKER_05: Now that would get my go.
• 55:31
SPEAKER_03: All right, guys, this is three and half and half, two and three.
• 55:34
  SPEAKER_05: Are you blending shit?
• 55:35
SPEAKER_03: Three with a little bit of one, a little bit of two, and a little and that's what we're doing with the rest of those.
• 55:40
SPEAKER_05: Two's gone, so there's no two to go.
• 55:43
SPEAKER_05: So let's do just straight up equal one and three.
• 55:48
  SPEAKER_05: That's what I did.
• 55:49
SPEAKER_02: Three's a good base because it's not so it oh, the finish.
• 55:51
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
• 55:52
SPEAKER_05: So this is something you can do for fun.
• 55:56
SPEAKER_05: It's like take your when you're talking bugging.
• 55:59
  SPEAKER_03: One and three together.
• 56:01
SPEAKER_03: Fruits are just popping in your mouth.
• 56:05
SPEAKER_05: The fruits of your labor?
• 56:09
  SPEAKER_05: So there's pistachio now.
• 56:11
  SPEAKER_03: I want to pecan.
• 56:12
  SPEAKER_03: I want a pecan.
• 56:13
SPEAKER_03: Oh, you pulled a salted.
• 56:17
  SPEAKER_03: A pecan.

• 56:19
SPEAKER_03: Oh, this is dark chocolate.
• 56:21
SPEAKER_02: I just added bourbon to the bourbon bowl.
• 56:24
SPEAKER_03: You added bourbon to the bourbon ball?
• 56:26
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, milk chocolate.
• 56:27
  SPEAKER_05: I don't know why.
• 56:28
  SPEAKER_05: There's enough all what?
• 56:29
  SPEAKER_05: Just be quiet.
• 56:32
SPEAKER_05: I have no idea what I got here.
• 56:34
  SPEAKER_05: Here's salted pistachio.
• 56:36
SPEAKER_05: You want a salted pistachio?
• 56:38
  SPEAKER_03: Sure.
• 56:38
SPEAKER_03: Everybody, this is what you get once you do a bookers of the year.
• 56:43
SPEAKER_03: And you get yelled at the whole time.
• 56:44
  SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
• 56:45
SPEAKER_03: And this is but it is this is a sweet reward.
• 56:51
SPEAKER_05: I was waiting for it.
• 56:52
SPEAKER_05: Even though it's not what I wanted, that's good.
• 56:55
SPEAKER_05: I threw the 3.5 out there just to start that off.
• 56:59
  SPEAKER_02: You are awesome.
• 57:00
  SPEAKER_05: I'm awesome.
• 57:01
  SPEAKER_05: That's why I am.
• 57:02
SPEAKER_03: That's what you can say.
• 57:04
SPEAKER_03: Your wife's not here to back that up.
• 57:07
  SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't push it towards it.
• 57:08
SPEAKER_03: She would side with us.
• 57:09
  SPEAKER_03: We know.
• 57:11
SPEAKER_05: Why is it always everybody against me?
• 57:14
  SPEAKER_05: It's just not fair.
• 57:15
  SPEAKER_02: Tiny, it's you're like Ohio State.
• 57:18
SPEAKER_01: I mean against the world.
• 57:19
  SPEAKER_01: You have three phones.
• 57:21
SPEAKER_05: Did you say I'm like Ohio State?
• 57:22
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 57:23
  SPEAKER_05: I love you, man.
• 57:24
  SPEAKER_05: Ohio State.
• 57:25
SPEAKER_05: If I'm the world, it's the world.
• 57:27
SPEAKER_05: If I'm Ohio State, that's how you look at me.
• 57:30
SPEAKER_02: No, I only in one freelance.
• 57:32
  SPEAKER_05: Really?
• 57:33
SPEAKER_05: I am like the champion of the of the national champion of bourbon podcasting.
• 57:40
SPEAKER_03: Look, this is how I look at you.
• 57:42
SPEAKER_03: You're like you're like your own team.
• 57:45
SPEAKER_03: I have three different names in my freaking phone.
• 57:48
SPEAKER_03: Like Jeff, Jeffrey, or Jeffrey Mueller.
• 57:52
  SPEAKER_03: What about Tiny?
• 57:54
SPEAKER_03: So you're like, you know, so why don't why don't we get our own team together to come up against you?
• 57:59
  SPEAKER_03: Your team, our team.
• 58:00
SPEAKER_03: Why do we have to go?
• 58:01
SPEAKER_04: We're supposed to all be playing this.
• 58:04
SPEAKER_04: That's what we've been trying to tell you.
• 58:07
SPEAKER_04: That's what we've been trying to tell you.
• 58:10
  SPEAKER_04: What sweet?
• 58:11
SPEAKER_04: Half the time I I'd send out the inventory.
• 58:17
SPEAKER_03: Right in the middle of the podcast.
• 58:19
  SPEAKER_03: A what?
• 58:20
  SPEAKER_03: A backflip.
• 58:21
  SPEAKER_03: What?
• 58:22
SPEAKER_05: Throwing a 3.5 in there that just you couldn't handle a half.
• 58:26
SPEAKER_05: I mean, there's no halves in our rating system, but who said there's a there's you can't rate these?
• 58:30
SPEAKER_05: Like, why why can't why if I can't decide, isn't that fair?
• 58:34
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know what you've been told.
• 58:35
  SPEAKER_05: I couldn't decide.
• 58:36
  SPEAKER_02: These are so good, I can't.
• 58:37
  SPEAKER_05: I couldn't got these.
• 58:37
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know what you've been told.
• 58:39
  SPEAKER_03: I can't even handle a three, much less a half-inch war.
• 58:42
  SPEAKER_03: I mean a half more.
• 58:44
  SPEAKER_03: Point.
• 58:49
  SPEAKER_02: All right, we done?
• 58:50
  SPEAKER_05: We are we done?

• 58:54
  SPEAKER_05: Move on to what?
• 58:54
  SPEAKER_05: Um what?
• 58:55
SPEAKER_05: Okay, so real quick, we gotta come up, which tell everybody what we're thinking for the bourbons of the year.
• 59:01
  unknown: I know.
• 59:03
  SPEAKER_05: Go ahead.
• 59:04
  SPEAKER_05: You brought Russell's 13.
• 59:05
SPEAKER_03: So Russell's 13 from this year, which is a new batch.
• 59:09
  SPEAKER_03: Match 6, right?
• 59:10
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
• 59:11
SPEAKER_03: Like one 127.8 or something.
• 59:14
SPEAKER_02: I'm also gonna throw one that you know, when the guys at Penelope tell you to try something, you try what they tell you to try.
• 59:23
SPEAKER_05: Well, the person, if you really want to know who who tells you something to try something, that there's a person that's not from Penelope that's watching right now.
• 59:31
SPEAKER_05: If Matt Lisen tells you to buy something from Penelope, you try it, and including his favorite.
• 59:37
  SPEAKER_02: So, no, not that.
• 59:40
SPEAKER_02: But Penelope, the guy said, try this.
• 59:43
  SPEAKER_02: Michael tried it.
• 59:44
  SPEAKER_02: Michael or Danny?
• 59:45
SPEAKER_02: Well, Danny specifically, but Michael loved it too.
• 59:48
SPEAKER_02: And that bottle is gonna be up for today, and that's gonna be the Penelope Omega.
• 59:53
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 59:54
  SPEAKER_03: Omega! Okay.
• 59:57
SPEAKER_03: Do you get didn't you get the here's the other one?
• 1:00:01
  SPEAKER_03: Augusta bourbon.
• 1:00:03
  SPEAKER_03: I did.
• 1:00:04
  SPEAKER_03: I got the 10 and the 13.
• 1:00:06
SPEAKER_03: I want to put up the Augusta 13 year.
• 1:00:09
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, you dirty bastard.
• 1:00:11
SPEAKER_03: So you brought that up with you?
• 1:00:12
SPEAKER_03: And the Nob Creek Jones wants to put it on the club.
• 1:00:14
SPEAKER_03: Okay, you can put you can.
• 1:00:16
SPEAKER_03: But where wait, wait, wait, wait.
• 1:00:19
  SPEAKER_03: Wait.
• 1:00:19
SPEAKER_05: Did you get an Augusta 13 too?
• 1:00:21
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 1:00:21
SPEAKER_05: Did you open it yet?
• 1:00:22
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 1:00:23
  SPEAKER_05: It's good.
• 1:00:23
SPEAKER_05: But he wants to put yours up.
• 1:00:25
SPEAKER_05: He wants to put my unopened 13 up.
• 1:00:27
  SPEAKER_05: Oh my god.
• 1:00:28
SPEAKER_03: Oh, you're gonna open it.
• 1:00:29
SPEAKER_03: Hey, Freddie Johnson said bourbon with the player, right?
• 1:00:32
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:00:33
SPEAKER_05: There's no IN team, Jeff.
• 1:00:34
  SPEAKER_05: Why couldn't you put the 10?
• 1:00:36
SPEAKER_05: The 10's got this much.
• 1:00:38
SPEAKER_03: Mine has got a big old eye in it, so let's, you know.
• 1:00:41
SPEAKER_05: So we got I you know, you guys, what whatever you want to open, I'll I'll open with these.
• 1:00:46
SPEAKER_02: So we're opening that, and then what else?
• 1:00:48
  SPEAKER_05: Okay, wait.
• 1:00:49
  SPEAKER_02: Knob Creek 21 is a break.
• 1:00:51
  SPEAKER_02: RFPG.
• 1:00:52
  SPEAKER_02: Oh.
• 1:00:53
  SPEAKER_03: This one.
• 1:00:54
SPEAKER_03: See, I decided not to do that to you.
• 1:00:57
  SPEAKER_03: Oh did you spell?
• 1:00:59
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 1:00:59
  SPEAKER_03: It almost went.
• 1:01:01
SPEAKER_02: P PFG from PFG this year has been phenomenal.
• 1:01:08
SPEAKER_03: That's what I was gonna put up, but that's all we got left.
• 1:01:11
  SPEAKER_03: What do you mean?
• 1:01:12
  SPEAKER_03: I share, don't.
• 1:01:13
  SPEAKER_03: I'm putting it up.
• 1:01:14
  SPEAKER_03: I'm putting it up.
• 1:01:15
  SPEAKER_03: I can't believe it.
• 1:01:16
SPEAKER_03: I wasn't gonna do that to you.
• 1:01:17
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but but but we got that's why I'd already thought about the did you break it?
• 1:01:21
SPEAKER_05: No, it was just IW Harper.
• 1:01:23
  SPEAKER_05: I got like 50 of the.
• 1:01:24
  SPEAKER_02: That's Rachel's box.
• 1:01:27
  SPEAKER_02: Rachel's.
• 1:01:31
  SPEAKER_05: Wait, is it leaking?
• 1:01:33
  SPEAKER_05: No, it's not.
• 1:01:33
  SPEAKER_05: I think it's a full bottle.
• 1:01:35
  SPEAKER_05: She's got because I'm leaking.
• 1:01:38
SPEAKER_03: No, I mean, for God's well, and then and then this, and then this, not a bottle.
• 1:01:44
SPEAKER_03: That's my second pick, and then Augusta 13 year old is my first pick.
• 1:01:51
  SPEAKER_05: All right.
• 1:01:51
SPEAKER_05: Okay, so we're gonna have to get it down.
• 1:01:57
SPEAKER_05: You guys, who's had Cathedral yet?
• 1:01:59
  SPEAKER_02: I haven't had it yet.
• 1:01:59
SPEAKER_05: Okay, so the reason why I'm picking it is because I did it at the Scotchy Bourbon Boys Crystal Glenn Cairn tasting.
• 1:02:05
SPEAKER_05: You can see we took uh it's gonna be just like your 13.
• 1:02:08
SPEAKER_05: It's gonna, um, I'll take it down uh half, but until you you not only are you drinking history, yeah, this bottle, I opened this with it's a one of a one of a kind.
• 1:02:21
SPEAKER_05: I mean, Randy Randy got it at the festival, right?
• 1:02:24
  SPEAKER_02: No, no, no.
• 1:02:26
SPEAKER_02: We I was so at the festival, I was there with you, third or fourth in line, and they ran out.
• 1:02:31
SPEAKER_05: No, they didn't you and Nash left.
• 1:02:33
  SPEAKER_05: We left.
• 1:02:34
SPEAKER_01: So then because they said they were out there.
• 1:02:36
  SPEAKER_01: Right, yes.
• 1:02:36
SPEAKER_01: But then somebody said they were out of the room.
• 1:02:38
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, but but but but you gotta understand, I'm sitting there, you guys leave.
• 1:02:42
SPEAKER_05: There's three people in front of me, and one guy behind me.
• 1:02:46
SPEAKER_05: The two people in front of me walk up, the one person goes, and as the one person's ordering, right?
• 1:02:53
SPEAKER_05: I start talking to a guy that goes, hey Tiny, I'm like, hey, how's it going?
• 1:02:59
SPEAKER_05: And I'm like, a fan that came up to me, and the guy behind me slips behind me.
• 1:03:05
SPEAKER_05: I walk up and say, Are you really out of the cathedral?
• 1:03:08
SPEAKER_05: And they're like, he got the last bottle.
• 1:03:12
SPEAKER_05: The guy behind me, there was one more bottle left, and I would have got it.
• 1:03:18
SPEAKER_05: So so I'm at the festival.
• 1:03:21
SPEAKER_05: And uh this guy is uh Yeah, this guy's a little bit older than me, skinny, executive kind of guy in an in a eyes shirt kind of I don't have any clue.
• 1:03:36
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, in the middle of it.
• 1:03:38
  SPEAKER_05: Okay, anyway.
• 1:03:39
SPEAKER_03: Just like we told you before, there's no eye.
• 1:03:42
SPEAKER_05: And realistically, the size of me to the size of him, I was like, if I was 20, I would have, and I didn't know Randy, I would have jacked his for skipping me.
• 1:03:53
SPEAKER_05: There's he had no right.
• 1:03:54
  SPEAKER_05: I never left him.
• 1:03:55
SPEAKER_05: I just kind of started talking, he slipped in behind me and took the last bottle.
• 1:03:59
SPEAKER_05: So I controlled myself because we're the Scotchy Bourbon boys.
• 1:04:02
  SPEAKER_05: We represent.
• 1:04:04
SPEAKER_05: Yes, and that's the thing.
• 1:04:05
SPEAKER_05: You always go, well, at one point it's gonna come to you, whatever.
• 1:04:10
SPEAKER_05: So when we were at Bourbon on the Banks, El Presidente, all of a sudden he comes over, he's like, I got your Christmas present.
• 1:04:17
SPEAKER_05: Or not your Christmas, but your birthday present.
• 1:04:19
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, my birthday was in September.
• 1:04:20
SPEAKER_05: He's like, I got it, God got it.
• 1:04:22
SPEAKER_05: We all went to dinner after Bourbon on the Basic.
• 1:04:24
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and it's like, so he he comes there, he goes, meets us there, and he goes, I called in a favor from, and so this is, he goes, This is signed by Steve Nally, it's the cathedral.
• 1:04:39
SPEAKER_05: I talked to the owner of Bardstown to see if he could get me.
• 1:04:43
  SPEAKER_05: I I told him your story.
• 1:04:45
SPEAKER_05: And so they got it to me, and then he goes, and then Steve wrote, Happy birthday, Jeffrey.
• 1:04:50
SPEAKER_05: So he Randy got me this bottle.
• 1:04:53
SPEAKER_05: So when we were at the Packer Eagle game, I said to him, if they win, I'm gonna crack it.
• 1:04:58
SPEAKER_05: And we're gonna sip it.
• 1:05:00
SPEAKER_05: Because Rob and him his friend, we were out there and they lost 10 to 7.
• 1:05:06
SPEAKER_05: It was a good game, though.
• 1:05:07
SPEAKER_05: I mean, we got to go into the luxury box for the first time in Lambaugh.
• 1:05:10
  SPEAKER_05: It was a so afterwards I said, I don't care, Randy.
• 1:05:13
SPEAKER_05: I I get it, whatever, but we're cracking it.
• 1:05:16
SPEAKER_05: So we had a sip, and then also at the Crystal Glen Karen tasting, it was Knob Creek 21.
• 1:05:24
  SPEAKER_05: It was this.
• 1:05:25
SPEAKER_05: I mean, the the the tastings, these tastings that I'm gonna be doing for the Scotchy Bourbon Boys Club and then the Scotchy Bourbon Boys Crystal Glen Karen Club.
• 1:05:33
SPEAKER_05: Next year I'll try and work it out.
• 1:05:35
SPEAKER_05: But you guys, it comes up in November.
• 1:05:37
SPEAKER_05: Uh, maybe I'll do it.
• 1:05:38
SPEAKER_05: I'll I'll do I'll figure it out so we all can be together for it.
• 1:05:41
SPEAKER_05: But it's just like the best bottles that I get, I don't want them to sit on my shelf.
• 1:05:46
SPEAKER_05: I want to crack them open.
• 1:05:48
SPEAKER_05: Like, for instance, we're at the Christmas party tonight.
• 1:05:51
SPEAKER_05: Afterwards, we're coming back here, and I'm definitely gonna, we are that bottle of Booker's Rye has been open a year now, and and you can see the level on it.
• 1:06:00
SPEAKER_05: It's still like right there.
• 1:06:02
SPEAKER_05: But we will drink a little bit of that with everybody who comes back and hang out before we head off in the morning.
• 1:06:11
SPEAKER_05: But I really the Knob Creek 21, fantastic.
• 1:06:15
  SPEAKER_05: Where's your ghost for 13?
• 1:06:16
  SPEAKER_05: That's that's 1972, Cuddy Shark.
• 1:06:19
SPEAKER_05: That's what what my dad would have been drinking.
• 1:06:21
SPEAKER_05: So I got that bottle.
• 1:06:22
  SPEAKER_05: Survival.
• 1:06:23
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so if you want to taste what my dad was drinking in 1972.
• 1:06:27
  SPEAKER_02: So good.
• 1:06:27
  SPEAKER_02: I don't need cutty shark.
• 1:06:29
  SPEAKER_05: I'm gonna cutty shark.
• 1:06:31
SPEAKER_02: Is it cutty shark or shark?
• 1:06:33
  SPEAKER_02: Shark.
• 1:06:33
SPEAKER_02: I call it shark because it's like so just that's what I got.
• 1:06:37
SPEAKER_05: So that's what so the bourbon of the year's coming up at two o'clock.
• 1:06:40
SPEAKER_05: We're gonna go get some lunch.
• 1:06:41
  SPEAKER_05: Let's go.
• 1:06:42
SPEAKER_05: But we gotta we gotta cut off of here, everybody.
• 1:06:44
SPEAKER_05: We're gonna end it on the the the podcast.
• 1:06:47
  SPEAKER_05: It was great.

SPEAKER_03: Thanks for watching on YouTube and Facebook, y'all.

• 1:07:03
  SPEAKER_03: Bourbon balls.
• 1:07:03
SPEAKER_03: And then also show them, show them.
• 1:07:06
SPEAKER_03: The bourbon balls are insane this year.
• 1:07:07
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 1:07:08
  SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
• 1:07:09
SPEAKER_05: Come and try my balls.
• 1:07:12
  SPEAKER_05: Anyways, interesting to say.
• 1:07:14
  SPEAKER_03: I can't believe it.
• 1:07:15
SPEAKER_05: Hey, that guy was talking about it on YouTube, so I had to just take a look.
• 1:07:18
SPEAKER_03: Listen, it's before 12, and he's already had four pours of bourbon.
• 1:07:23
  SPEAKER_03: 125.
• 1:07:24
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:07:25
  SPEAKER_03: 125 plus proof.
• 1:07:27
SPEAKER_02: So the bourbon balls are delicious.
• 1:07:31
SPEAKER_02: So Jeff does plug this like during the podcast throughout the year, and he talks about it.
• 1:07:37
  SPEAKER_02: Especially in October.
• 1:07:41
SPEAKER_02: I'm going to tell you the pistachio one was phenomenal.
• 1:07:44
SPEAKER_02: The first one I had, wasn't it?
• 1:07:46
SPEAKER_02: Did you do a dark chocolate?
• 1:07:48
  SPEAKER_05: They're all dark chocolates.
• 1:07:49
  SPEAKER_05: They're light.
• 1:07:50
SPEAKER_02: There's a dark chocolate one that I had first.
• 1:07:52
  SPEAKER_02: Which was salted.
• 1:07:54
SPEAKER_05: So there's there's two types this time.
• 1:07:55
SPEAKER_05: There's there's because we couldn't do the white chocolate because it malfunctioned, they had it.
• 1:08:00
SPEAKER_05: And then so we got dark chocolate, like we always have dark chocolate pistachio, dark chocolate chocolate salted caramel, and then dark chocolate pecan with the pecan on top instead of uh I think I had the salted one.
• 1:08:13
SPEAKER_05: But then, but then you got milk chocolate, pecan, and salted.
• 1:08:17
SPEAKER_05: So, I mean, we we got and pistachio.
• 1:08:19
SPEAKER_05: So we got it all now.
• 1:08:20
SPEAKER_05: Liberty Pole, the Liberty Pole bourbon balls are really unique.
• 1:08:25
SPEAKER_05: You can tell the difference between the early times.
• 1:08:27
SPEAKER_05: So, and we got a we've got enough this year for everybody.
• 1:08:31
SPEAKER_05: So, check out those bourbon balls.
• 1:08:33
SPEAKER_05: And then those are fantastic.
• 1:08:35
  SPEAKER_03: We lost everybody.
• 1:08:36
  SPEAKER_03: I'm the only one that's watching.

  SPEAKER_05: Let's see.
• 1:11:10
SPEAKER_05: I was playing it for my grandson and look, completely disappeared.
• 1:11:16

• 1:11:44
  SPEAKER_05: There it is.
• 1:11:45
  SPEAKER_05: It's it's behind the actual faith.
• 1:11:48
  SPEAKER_02: Are you kidding me?
• 1:11:50
  SPEAKER_05: Imagine that.

  SPEAKER_05: Here we go.
• 1:11:59
SPEAKER_05: All right, and our favorite AI theme song is gonna take us out.
• 1:12:20
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I did.
• 1:12:21
  SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
• 1:12:23
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:12:23
  SPEAKER_03: It's better on you.
• 1:12:24
  SPEAKER_03: Oh there it is.
• 1:12:28
SPEAKER_05: It's on the floor and the left and all big.
• 1:12:30
SPEAKER_02: I like the way it blurred out the background and everything else and make that focus.
