- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's get into some top predictions post Clarity today because
- 0:03Speaker 1: something big is happening in DC.
- 0:05Speaker 2: I'll break it down with you.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I do want to thank our sponsor today and that
- 0:08Speaker 1: is I Trust Capital, where you guys can start to
- 0:09Speaker 1: diversify your portfolio by getting into a CRYPTOIRA.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Very easy to do.
- 0:15Speaker 1: You can buy sell crypto over there as well as
- 0:17Speaker 1: gold and silver with your IRA. And the cool thing
- 0:20Speaker 1: about I Trust is there's no monthly fees, so all
- 0:23Speaker 1: you have to do jump in, get an account over there.
- 0:26Speaker 1: You only pay fees when you're doing trades that kind
- 0:29Speaker 1: of thing, just like any anywhere else. And of course
- 0:32Speaker 1: set it up you'll get one hundred dollars funding reward
- 0:34Speaker 1: just to get going. Use our link down below to
- 0:36Speaker 1: get started. I want to bring in Zach pandele coming
- 0:39Speaker 1: in from Grayscale to break it down today.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Zach, how are you?
- 0:43Speaker 3: I'm great, Paul.
- 0:43Speaker 4: The weather's warming up, the markets are warming up, looking
- 0:47Speaker 4: forward to this discussion.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Eleanor Tarrett put out a piece per Politico. The stable
- 0:52Speaker 1: coin issue around Clarity seems to be coming to a head.
- 0:57Speaker 1: They're going to move this in right into the markup
- 1:00Speaker 1: before it releases. It but it looks like this is
- 1:02Speaker 1: a done deal going into the Senate right now.
- 1:06Speaker 2: What's your thoughts on this? How do you feel about
- 1:07Speaker 2: this so far?
- 1:08Speaker 3: I feel optimistic.
- 1:10Speaker 4: I think in some of Eleanor's reporting she used the
- 1:13Speaker 4: term guardedly optimistic cautiously optists. I'm going to go ahead
- 1:17Speaker 4: and say I'm full blown optimistic on where this is
- 1:20Speaker 4: heading at the moment. Look, having watched the Senate grind
- 1:25Speaker 4: through negotiations on lots of different types of legislation over
- 1:29Speaker 4: the years, sometimes it's a good sign when the key
- 1:32Speaker 4: players are being careful about what they say in public
- 1:37Speaker 4: and very thoughtfully managing the process. And that's what I
- 1:40Speaker 4: see happening. I think you have a delicate balance achieved
- 1:43Speaker 4: between the key parties and they want to make sure
- 1:46Speaker 4: the process goes as smooth as possible, and so they're
- 1:48Speaker 4: eliminating the amount of broad public discussion before putting it
- 1:52Speaker 4: in front of the committee. So it looks good on
- 1:54Speaker 4: track from my standpoint.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I agree with you optimistic. I'm a little bit more
- 2:00Speaker 1: skeptical that this gets through, but I'm very optimistic.
- 2:03Speaker 2: So that's where we are right now.
- 2:05Speaker 1: If you look at the market in general, and you
- 2:07Speaker 1: kind of compare the growth of what we've seen right
- 2:11Speaker 1: here in terms of overall revenue and crypto I anticipate
- 2:15Speaker 1: we're going to see another explosion coming up with Clarity,
- 2:19Speaker 1: of course locking in and opening up a lot of
- 2:22Speaker 1: opportunities here in terms of what major announcements in acquisitions
- 2:27Speaker 1: do you predict that might happen post Clarity? Are you
- 2:30Speaker 1: looking at anything right now?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Well, there's quite a lot I think can happen, Paul.
- 2:35Speaker 4: I think last year we talked a lot about the
- 2:37Speaker 4: Genius Act and the signal that that gave to big
- 2:41Speaker 4: Wall Street players and engaging on stable coins. I think
- 2:44Speaker 4: in Clarity in some ways we can think about in
- 2:46Speaker 4: a similar way. There's a lot of stuff that's happening
- 2:49Speaker 4: besides Clarity, but this is going to be a giant.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Signal for banks, for brokers, etc.
- 2:55Speaker 4: That are not fully investing in the crypto ecosystem to
- 2:58Speaker 4: press ahead with those plans. We're seeing a lot of
- 3:02Speaker 4: acquisition activity already this week. We mentioned in some of
- 3:05Speaker 4: our reports e. Toro buying a crypto wallet provider just
- 3:10Speaker 4: you know, one of many examples that you see ongoing.
- 3:13Speaker 4: And that's the kind of thing that I would think
- 3:15Speaker 4: we see more going forward, you know, wallets, custodians, consumer
- 3:20Speaker 4: facing applications being acquired by some of the big players
- 3:23Speaker 4: to provide crypto services directly to their clients.
- 3:26Speaker 1: We have a question about that in the Lightning round,
- 3:29Speaker 1: which we're going to do at the end of the
- 3:30Speaker 1: show today, guys, so make sure and stick around for that.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I agree with you.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I think we're going to see a lot of acquisitions.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm not sure it's going to come from the old guard.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I think it might be coming from the rising stars
- 3:41Speaker 1: in fintech.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Probably a little bit of both.
- 3:44Speaker 4: I mean, I agree that some of these leading FinTechs
- 3:46Speaker 4: will be uh, you know some of the first out
- 3:48Speaker 4: the gate Stripes acquisition of a bridge was a huge
- 3:53Speaker 4: example of that. You know, they're really leading into the
- 3:56Speaker 4: story Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley. Some of these bitcoin ETF products,
- 4:01Speaker 4: I would say they're dipping their toe in and still
- 4:04Speaker 4: kind of a long way to go to build a
- 4:05Speaker 4: fully fleshed out crypto trading and crypto product service for
- 4:10Speaker 4: their business. So planning a stake in the ground with
- 4:12Speaker 4: a bitcoin ETF is a natural way to go. As
- 4:15Speaker 4: you know, great scale has been in that business in
- 4:18Speaker 4: the bitcoin investing business since twenty thirteen. Now bitcoin ETF's
- 4:22Speaker 4: are fairly common place. I think it's going to be
- 4:25Speaker 4: a long way to go until they get to XRP,
- 4:27Speaker 4: Salona many of the other assets in space.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Listen, you did a keynote over at EATCC in kens
- 4:36Speaker 1: and it was the topic was investing for the tokenization revolution.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You have three phases on here, Canton being phase one,
- 4:46Speaker 1: not necessarily understanding that one, but Avalanche is hybrid model
- 4:51Speaker 1: which is phase two, and then the Ethereum Global Decentralized
- 4:54Speaker 1: Finance Phase three. Explain to our viewers what you are
- 4:57Speaker 1: trying to convey.
- 4:58Speaker 4: There, great question and give me an opportunity to articulate
- 5:01Speaker 4: that a bit more. We think that the process of
- 5:04Speaker 4: tokenization is going to evolve over time, and over the
- 5:07Speaker 4: short run, you're likely to see some success for institution
- 5:13Speaker 4: centric networks like Canton because they look more like the
- 5:17Speaker 4: financial system does today. They work with institutions, and institutions
- 5:22Speaker 4: solve the issues around privacy and identity that need to
- 5:25Speaker 4: be solved. So it's a step towards the tokenized future
- 5:31Speaker 4: that hues more closely to how the financial system looks
- 5:33Speaker 4: that today. Ultimately, blockchains like Ethereum and Salona have a
- 5:37Speaker 4: more expansive vision for how capital markets can evolve over time,
- 5:43Speaker 4: but they have some wood to chop, some progress to
- 5:46Speaker 4: make on things like privacy and identity. So I think
- 5:49Speaker 4: maybe a longer vision, a longer timeline until we ultimately
- 5:52Speaker 4: see that fully articulated vision of peer to peer, smart
- 5:56Speaker 4: contract based decentralized finance the journey that we're on, but
- 6:01Speaker 4: it's going to take some time to fully articulate it.
- 6:03Speaker 4: I think those investments have a lot of upside, but
- 6:06Speaker 4: I think investors should expect some of these institutions centric
- 6:09Speaker 4: models to see some short term traction.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Would I don't.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm not sure about that one because I feel like there,
- 6:15Speaker 1: even when we had Kanton, I think their idea was
- 6:19Speaker 1: to try to get to the point of a community. Actually,
- 6:22Speaker 1: I have a clip I want to play that kind
- 6:24Speaker 1: of explains that.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Let's cut to this clip.
- 6:26Speaker 5: For Canton network to truly accelerate, we need to become tribal.
- 6:30Speaker 5: You see, the hardest part in working with institutions is
- 6:33Speaker 5: getting them to adopt new infrastructure. The main cross pollination
- 6:38Speaker 5: vehicle into DeFi has been social media. Make as much
- 6:42Speaker 5: noise on crypto Twitter and build a community. If everything
- 6:46Speaker 5: is siloed, then how can we win? We need to
- 6:49Speaker 5: become a cultural movement. But if I had it my way,
- 6:52Speaker 5: there would be no further validators issued to any new
- 6:55Speaker 5: projects that are not one hundred percent exclusive to the network.
- 6:59Speaker 5: That is how you create culture. Look at Mert from
- 7:01Speaker 5: Helius's relationship with Solana. He has his whole life dedicated
- 7:06Speaker 5: to Solana. He is tribal. We need that and we
- 7:09Speaker 5: need to build our own tribe. Why do you think
- 7:11Speaker 5: I got Canton yellow in my backdrop? I mean, how
- 7:14Speaker 5: do you think that Solana and XRP became a mass
- 7:17Speaker 5: cultural movement?
- 7:18Speaker 1: Wait a minute, zach Is, are you do you have
- 7:20Speaker 1: vomit green in your background?
- 7:23Speaker 3: I don't know what color you call this?
- 7:25Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I'm just joking. The point I'm getting
- 7:28Speaker 1: at is and it's funny. We made this very statement
- 7:31Speaker 1: when we had Canton on the show in an unusual way.
- 7:34Speaker 1: We were just saying, yeah, you need a community, and
- 7:36Speaker 1: a community is the way to kind of bridge into this.
- 7:38Speaker 1: He that was Canton talking about that. So they were saying,
- 7:42Speaker 1: now that we were right about that, and they're trying
- 7:45Speaker 1: to create a tribal community, which has been the power
- 7:49Speaker 1: of Solana, It's been the power of XRP, and to
- 7:52Speaker 1: a certain extent, even the power of ethereum.
- 7:54Speaker 2: You know. So there are very strong communities.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I just don't know how a new player comes in
- 8:00Speaker 1: and does that, because what.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Do you think about that?
- 8:03Speaker 1: Do you think that that's a possibility for canton to
- 8:05Speaker 1: be able to do that?
- 8:06Speaker 4: I think the community aspect is important, but maybe even
- 8:10Speaker 4: more important than that is technology that provides some kind
- 8:14Speaker 4: of use to end users and capturing network effects. So
- 8:19Speaker 4: I think those are all good examples. But you know,
- 8:22Speaker 4: something like B and B maybe you know clearly it's
- 8:25Speaker 4: a piece of technology that is used. They have huge
- 8:28Speaker 4: distribution benefits because of the association with the exchange, and
- 8:33Speaker 4: I think it has captured network effects as a result.
- 8:36Speaker 4: So I think CANTON network, even though it is more
- 8:38Speaker 4: institution centric and still working on growing a die hard community,
- 8:43Speaker 4: I think it does have a chance to capture some
- 8:45Speaker 4: network effects, and that's what makes a successful blockchain network
- 8:48Speaker 4: in our view.
- 8:49Speaker 1: All right, So Vlad hits it right here. The AI
- 8:51Speaker 1: boom is exposing an old truth about finance. Private companies
- 8:55Speaker 1: are very comfortable with democratized demand, but less comfortable with
- 9:00Speaker 1: democratized ownership, Which is kind of the point we're getting
- 9:03Speaker 1: at here, is that these private networks are probably going
- 9:06Speaker 1: to be less comfortable with these open networks out there.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So I think he's right here because we have seen
- 9:14Speaker 1: this blueprint before occur. I don't know, I'm kind of
- 9:18Speaker 1: on the mix there. I want to go over to
- 9:20Speaker 1: something that you guys posted. This is GAVA gray scale
- 9:25Speaker 1: Avalanche staking as an ETF explain to me what you
- 9:28Speaker 1: guys are doing here.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Yeah, So, as you know, Paul, as your listeners know,
- 9:33Speaker 4: smart contract platforms are really the cornerstone of crypto investing
- 9:38Speaker 4: beyond bitcoin, the networks that power tokenization, stable coins, decentralized finance,
- 9:43Speaker 4: that's really the core of crypto investing once you take
- 9:46Speaker 4: your first step beyond a bitcoin. There's around fifty or
- 9:50Speaker 4: so of those networks in the marketplace today that investors
- 9:53Speaker 4: could choose. We have picked five that we think are
- 9:56Speaker 4: really the leading candidates and they have the best shot
- 10:00Speaker 4: of capturing these network effects over time, and Avalanche is
- 10:03Speaker 4: one of those networks. Avalanche is a unique product. Is
- 10:07Speaker 4: this hybrid model partly institution focused, partly open architecture like
- 10:12Speaker 4: Theorium and Solana for example, and I think has a
- 10:15Speaker 4: lot of strength in terms of onboarding a business user.
- 10:19Speaker 4: So GAVA product that gives access to the avalanche token
- 10:23Speaker 4: in the form of a convenient to ETF a great
- 10:26Speaker 4: way to get exposure to that particular network in any
- 10:28Speaker 4: type of brokerage account setting.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Traditional investors out there right now, they are very new
- 10:33Speaker 1: to crypto. That's why I think we have seen the
- 10:35Speaker 1: explosion of the ETFs.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Over the past couple of years.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But at the same time, and I think you guys
- 10:41Speaker 1: even put some data on this, there's a shift occurring
- 10:44Speaker 1: right now in the wealth transfer. And I would say
- 10:48Speaker 1: that the gen Z crowd and even the younger millennials
- 10:51Speaker 1: probably are more comfortable with going direct versus going this route.
- 10:56Speaker 1: How does a company like gray Scale and many other
- 10:59Speaker 1: institutions crack that code of being able to when that
- 11:02Speaker 1: wealth shift actually does occur.
- 11:04Speaker 4: There is a great wealth transition underway in the US
- 11:08Speaker 4: economy that's just getting started, is going to take a
- 11:10Speaker 4: number of years to play out. Younger investors have a
- 11:14Speaker 4: much higher preference for crypto investing than older investors, and
- 11:18Speaker 4: they're going to inherit that wealth over the coming years.
- 11:21Speaker 4: As you can see on this chart that number totals
- 11:24Speaker 4: over one hundred trillion dollars. A huge amount of Baby
- 11:28Speaker 4: boomer and Silent generation wealth going to be going to
- 11:31Speaker 4: millennials and younger Americans, and probably an increasing share will
- 11:36Speaker 4: be allocated to crypto. I think the ETFs will be
- 11:39Speaker 4: a huge part of that solution for a lot of
- 11:41Speaker 4: these investors because they fit in things like tax.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Advantage, accounts, iras, et cetera.
- 11:46Speaker 4: But you're right, Paul, Increasingly people will want to hold
- 11:49Speaker 4: things on chain directly tokenized products. You know, they will
- 11:53Speaker 4: have access to wallets and for a kind of forward
- 11:56Speaker 4: looking crypto native acidvantager, like a grey scale.
- 11:59Speaker 3: That's exactly the type.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Of thing that we need to build as well for
- 12:02Speaker 4: the next generation of crypto investors.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I like it.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Okay, Zach, So let's go over to the Lightning round.
- 12:09Speaker 1: This is going to get into our post Clarity predictions.
- 12:12Speaker 1: The show title today, and there's a few I want
- 12:15Speaker 1: to head off with. The first one to go into
- 12:17Speaker 1: robinhood their chain launches at their next summit. Do you
- 12:21Speaker 1: think that'll happen after Clarity passes?
- 12:23Speaker 3: Yes? If not sooner?
- 12:25Speaker 2: Oh, if not sooner. I like that.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Okay, you've got one right here. Banks and boomer brokerages
- 12:30Speaker 1: are forced to start acquiring wallet companies. We're mentioning this earlier.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Do you think yes or no?
- 12:35Speaker 3: I think yes.
- 12:36Speaker 4: It will be a huge category, and I think they
- 12:39Speaker 4: will both acquire and some of them will build these
- 12:42Speaker 4: tools from scratch in house. I think we will see
- 12:44Speaker 4: both buying and building solutions.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I'm in the middle there. Mainly.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I'm more toward no, because I think the younger FinTechs
- 12:52Speaker 1: that are rising. Who launches a stable coin first? Do
- 12:55Speaker 1: you think it'd be Facebook or Walmart?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Facebook or meta platforms.
- 12:59Speaker 4: I do think Surprisingly is going to get back into
- 13:02Speaker 4: the stable coin game after the whole Libra DM experience
- 13:07Speaker 4: a number of years ago. I think that they will
- 13:10Speaker 4: be into this business in the not too distant future.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Crypto stable coins really emerging as core technology for next
- 13:18Speaker 4: generation consumer finance apps.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I think Facebook will be in that game.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I'm going to say Walmart just because of their tie
- 13:24Speaker 1: to retail, Facebook would have to be you know, they
- 13:27Speaker 1: have to do a lot to sell that gray scale
- 13:29Speaker 1: partners with Loto for e faults.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Vaults are something that will be important for Grayscale over time.
- 13:35Speaker 4: I would say probably no on this particular partnership. But
- 13:39Speaker 4: there's no reason that Loto isn't a great business. But
- 13:44Speaker 4: vaults are some important part of the future of asset management,
- 13:48Speaker 4: and we will also be finding ways to build in
- 13:52Speaker 4: house and partner with key players as we build out
- 13:55Speaker 4: that part of our besiness.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Franklin temple And launches loyalty tokens for We mentioned this
- 14:01Speaker 1: to Sandy directly. She kind of had a good thinking
- 14:04Speaker 1: that maybe that would be happened. Do you think Franklin
- 14:06Speaker 1: Templeton would be the first to do this?
- 14:08Speaker 4: Hard to say, but I would say that Franklin has
- 14:11Speaker 4: been a leader in the space of innovative asset manager.
- 14:14Speaker 3: I love some of the things that they're doing. I
- 14:16Speaker 3: could see it happening.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I think it's going to be someone else, all right.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Banking product launches won't be as sexy as institutions think,
- 14:23Speaker 1: and we're talking about the circle ripple bank scenarios when
- 14:26Speaker 1: they get these charters.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Well, I think this is a pretty sexy topic myself.
- 14:31Speaker 4: So I love to see the kind of crypto player
- 14:35Speaker 4: integration with the traditional financial system, whether it's the bank
- 14:39Speaker 4: fed master account that crack and earn in all those
- 14:42Speaker 4: other dimensions. I think we are making payments infrastructure sexy again.
- 14:47Speaker 2: There you go, all right, here we go.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Crypto rally explodes the AVE lending and borrowing.
- 14:53Speaker 4: I think that AVE is very well placed to see
- 14:57Speaker 4: substantial growth in borrowing over time. So I'll be a
- 15:00Speaker 4: yes on this category. This is a project that many
- 15:04Speaker 4: of us have followed for a long time. We are
- 15:07Speaker 4: happy with the AVE will win effort. I think they're
- 15:10Speaker 4: positioning the platform for the future of decentralized finance going
- 15:14Speaker 4: through some of the necessary changes that needed to happen.
- 15:18Speaker 4: I'd say yes on this one.
- 15:20Speaker 2: All right, here we go.
- 15:21Speaker 1: The launch of tokenized pre stocks kills the IPO participation
- 15:25Speaker 1: for retail That.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Is a good question. I would say that it doesn't
- 15:30Speaker 4: necessarily damage IPO participation, but I think that these products
- 15:35Speaker 4: will be popular, whether it's pre stocks or some of
- 15:39Speaker 4: the things like on the hyper liquid platform, you know
- 15:41Speaker 4: tokens that can be traded pre TG or pre token launch.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I think these will be increasingly popular tools, especially in
- 15:49Speaker 4: derivative platforms like hyper Liquid.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I think because of the younger traders, they'll start to
- 15:55Speaker 1: realize this is the vein to go get access to
- 15:58Speaker 1: these and once pre start gets rolling, I think it
- 16:02Speaker 1: does for retail, for retail investors that would typically go
- 16:05Speaker 1: out to the open market. I think this is a
- 16:07Speaker 1: huge opportunity. Best metric to follow post clarity revenue or
- 16:12Speaker 1: network effects.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Wow, that's a tough one.
- 16:17Speaker 4: I think that I'm going to say revenue is always
- 16:22Speaker 4: the most important thing for any type of business or product.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Network effects is a little bit of an amorphous concept,
- 16:31Speaker 4: very very important in the context of a crypto investing,
- 16:35Speaker 4: but revenue is maybe the thing, the most important thing.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Revenue wins. I like the revenue, believe me, I like it.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I like it, But I'm going to go with network effects.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I just feel like this because of its early stage.
- 16:46Speaker 1: You know it's early stage. Once you get into that,
- 16:49Speaker 1: you know it's the Bell curve. It's the Bell curve.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Because with network effects, I feel like comes that you
- 16:55Speaker 1: know onslaught of revenue.
- 16:56Speaker 3: And you think on this one too, I can see that.
- 16:59Speaker 2: It's a tough one. Okay, here we go.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Only quantum roadmap chains have a chance at reaching new
- 17:07Speaker 1: all time highs.
- 17:08Speaker 4: I'm going to say no on this topic. I think
- 17:11Speaker 4: quantum is very important something we're spending a huge amount
- 17:14Speaker 4: of time on, not surprisingly, but we still have a
- 17:18Speaker 4: long way to go, and I think that that will
- 17:21Speaker 4: it'll be acceptable for investors that even chains don't can
- 17:26Speaker 4: see new highs because we do have a long timeline.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I think still, let's go to this one here, microstransaction
- 17:33Speaker 1: dominance war begins between the l twos, Solana Suite avalanche begins.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I think so.
- 17:40Speaker 4: I think that we absolutely will see a huge increase
- 17:42Speaker 4: in transaction volume driven by human traders, but also aigic.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, Argentic, which narrative will most likely remain
- 17:51Speaker 1: in a coma deepen or bridges and wormholes.
- 17:55Speaker 4: I think that bridges and bridges and topics probably will
- 17:59Speaker 4: be some thing that takes a little time to recover.
- 18:02Speaker 4: It's still an open question of what that multi chain
- 18:04Speaker 4: integration is going to look like in the longer run.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Some good projects there, but going to take a longer time,
- 18:10Speaker 4: I think, to fully recover.
- 18:11Speaker 1: What's the more important feature to build towards to win
- 18:15Speaker 1: over retail investors. Institutional privacy or.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Retail institutional privacy is the first priority institutions insist on
- 18:24Speaker 4: priority retail investors. It's a little either or sometimes.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Well, yeah, but you want to win them over, you
- 18:31Speaker 1: want to win over retail investors.
- 18:34Speaker 3: It depends on the use case a little bit.
- 18:36Speaker 4: I think for retail investors want to make sure that
- 18:41Speaker 4: when they're using an institution that their assets and balances,
- 18:44Speaker 4: their transactions are not disclosed. I think maybe retail investors
- 18:48Speaker 4: may still be somewhat comfortable with, say, retail level transparency
- 18:52Speaker 4: around payment. So I'm going to say institutional privacy here
- 18:56Speaker 4: even in that case.
- 18:57Speaker 3: But I see your point.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Let's move on to decks tokens, which will outperform the
- 19:02Speaker 1: centralized exchange tokes and tokens. So you got Uni hype,
- 19:05Speaker 1: Jupe versus you know, BnB, cro and Leo.
- 19:09Speaker 2: What do you think.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I think dex tokens outperform. That's a yes.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Market share captured by dex is led by hyper liquidive
- 19:17Speaker 4: course today.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I think that's a trend that continues.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Yeah, agreed, Here we go Elon angers everything everyone with
- 19:24Speaker 1: midterm elections and crypto censorship and leads to the rise
- 19:30Speaker 1: of something like a polymarket social media app.
- 19:32Speaker 3: That is a good question.
- 19:34Speaker 4: I think that I'm going to say, no, I think
- 19:37Speaker 4: Twitter has done a good job of X and protecting
- 19:40Speaker 4: a free speech. So not that our media landscape isn't
- 19:44Speaker 4: changing and that prediction markets aren't important, but I think
- 19:47Speaker 4: that probably we're going to be okay from a speech
- 19:49Speaker 4: standpoint on the platform into the midterms.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I am going to say no into the midterms, but
- 19:56Speaker 1: eventually I feel like polymarket Social may become a thing,
- 20:01Speaker 1: and it could.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Now can it rival X?
- 20:03Speaker 1: I don't know the fact that it has the right
- 20:06Speaker 1: kind of demographic. It's kind of interesting, but X is
- 20:09Speaker 1: so much bigger, you know, it's kind of almost you
- 20:12Speaker 1: have to almost subset crypto Twitter versus this, so that
- 20:17Speaker 1: would be kind of the thing there. So Polymarket launches
- 20:21Speaker 1: a token instead of an IPO before Cawshi goes public.
- 20:25Speaker 3: I'm going to say yes.
- 20:28Speaker 4: I think that we have seen a number of indications
- 20:33Speaker 4: that a polymarket token is coming at some point. We
- 20:36Speaker 4: don't know exact timeline, but they've been laying the groundwork.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Here we go. Rockstar announces.
- 20:41Speaker 1: You may not I don't know if you follow GTA
- 20:43Speaker 1: six and all the updates and leaks and everything, but
- 20:45Speaker 1: Rockstar announces that's the company behind GTA six before November nineteenth,
- 20:50Speaker 1: which is supposedly a launch date you think they'll launch
- 20:53Speaker 1: something like what.
- 20:55Speaker 2: We'll see out here in terms of cryptotech stac.
- 20:57Speaker 4: I'm going to say no, just because the delays on
- 20:59Speaker 4: this one have been so along or already so I
- 21:02Speaker 4: would be great to see. But I'm betting on more delays,
- 21:06Speaker 4: which is you know, typical in some of these Triple
- 21:08Speaker 4: A game releases.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I'm just gonna choose yes.
- 21:11Speaker 1: To be on the other side, Mister Beasts launches a
- 21:14Speaker 1: super app and finance YouTube channel.
- 21:16Speaker 4: I'm gonna say no, but I think it's a close call,
- 21:21Speaker 4: you know, because you have seen Bitmine invest in mister
- 21:26Speaker 4: Beast Industries, so maybe taking a first step in that direction.
- 21:32Speaker 1: AI agents won't use Visa and MasterCard true or false false.
- 21:38Speaker 4: I think that they will use some credit card payments.
- 21:42Speaker 4: I do think that blockchains and stable coins will be
- 21:44Speaker 4: the dominant of financial rails for AI agents, but I
- 21:47Speaker 4: think there will be some use of traditional credit card
- 21:51Speaker 4: and bank based payments, all.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Right, I would have to go a true on that.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I don't think they will, but I'm very you know,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I'm all in on this, Zach. I'm all in on
- 21:58Speaker 1: this stuff. Tether finally passes an audit and flips Bitcoin I.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Don't think it to flip bitcoin, but I think we'll
- 22:07Speaker 4: see an audit, so I'm gonna say no, just because
- 22:11Speaker 4: bitcoin is pretty darn large, but tether has a lot
- 22:14Speaker 4: of things going for it, and I think lots of
- 22:16Speaker 4: scope for future growth.
- 22:17Speaker 1: All right, there, you guys, you have our lightning round
- 22:20Speaker 1: with Zach Bendle. These of course are not These are
- 22:24Speaker 1: just fun for opinions that you guys don't.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Take these seriously.
- 22:27Speaker 1: We just like to go out there and kind of
- 22:29Speaker 1: think beyond the envelope a little bit and see what
- 22:32Speaker 1: could happen in this industry going forward. So Zach, thank
- 22:36Speaker 1: you so much for being a good sport and always
- 22:38Speaker 1: coming on the show.
- 22:39Speaker 2: We appreciate it.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Great pleasure, great to see you.
