Transcript
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Freshly back from Expo, and I wanted to try something a little different with it, you guys, alright?
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: So bear with me.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: This is just a bonus episode of the JBS show.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: My recap of Expo.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: And no guests, no nothing.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Just Jamie on the back porch.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: I wanted to try this in long form.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: And I got there Thursday morning, took a shuttle to the Hyatt Regency where my boy Ralph was staying, and we drove in together.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: So that was a total blast.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Right off the bat, I got to see my buddy Ralph.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: And then Rachel and Cale were there.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: We had breakfast.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: It was absolutely with Christopher Franchie, bought us breakfast, and the day started fantastic.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: It was just awesome.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to go through every single moment of every single day.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Don't worry, okay?
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: You don't have to click away yet.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: But when we got into the hall, the line, so we didn't have special.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: The only one of us that had the special passes was Franchie and Retro Ralph and Mason.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: So I had to wait with Rachel and Kale out in the lobby, and the line was ridiculously long.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Like this is the longest line I've ever seen to get into an expo.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And the damn thing was out the door, right?
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: So I I just don't like waiting in line.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: So I was like, I'm not gonna wait in line.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: It's not happening.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm not doing it.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: So we just stood by the stairs and so many people talked to us.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: It was so lovely.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: It was actually really great.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: So then once the problem is if you're not first in line, you you have day one on on Thursday, you you can't get to play everything, right?
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: So then when you walk into the hall when the line is totally gone, uh it kind of sucks because these lines are huge.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: So you just start walking around, right?
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: So I just didn't play anything a lot Thursday until the lines kind of died down.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: And we were very fortunate that uh everyone was so nice to us, all the manufacturers, everybody, because I was really hanging out with Rachel and Kale and Ralph once in a while on Thursday because he was doing so much filming.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: But here's the games that I did play through Expo, and I'll give you my analysis of the games right now, okay?
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Let's try this.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Um I got to play Circus Voltaire.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: My analysis is beautiful.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: What a beautiful game.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: What a beautiful game.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And see American Pinball back, everyone there was really nice, right?
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Like you could just see that they really cared and there was like passion.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: They're wearing a just uniform and and they just looked great.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: I thought American Pinball did a really good job.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: And there there was some flipper fade the issues.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: If there were any issues, they were on top of it.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: And I just felt like confident when I left, like they got their shit together, they're gonna be alright, they're gonna be good.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: I can't wait to see the next game, which I which I'm hearing is cup head, right?
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Let me get a drink.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Uh and if it is cup head, that's gonna be awesome.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Why wouldn't it be?
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Uh and so I had a great time in American pinball and uh got it got to meet all of them again.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Brian Vincent, really good dude, John Swartz, uh everyone over there, obviously Rob, and um, everyone was just really nice.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Uh Jersey Jack.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Jersey Jack was solid.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Every time we went over there and and we played Sonic, it was awesome.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Uh I like Sonic, and you know, I didn't get to play the Harry Potters because I've got one at Eureka, and I've got a Sonic at Eureka, so uh I didn't have to go over there and play it, but I uh some uh Rachel and Cale had never played it before.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: Unfortunately, it glitched, but we did come back later, finished our game, had a great time.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Uh Sonic is fun.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: I I like playing Sonic, right?
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: It's a little repetitive for me sometimes.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Uh I I wish that in further updates you could kind of like choose your mode and it tells you more of what you have to do.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: That's my opinion there.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: I think that that needs to be fixed.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Uh, but the big news out of JJP is that Steve Ritchie's retiring, and God bless you, Steve.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: You've you've you've done some absolute bangers and congratulations uh on such an unbelievably successful career.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Got to run into you, didn't want to bother you, just gave you a little salute and uh congratulations on an awesome career.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Steve Ritchie.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Uh let's go around the room.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: We went to Barrels of Fun, played a lot of Bon Jovi.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Uh, I think I played about five games of Bon Jovi.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: The first game we played, it glitched, right?
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: And uh the second game we played, there was a um what is it?
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: An Opto issue.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Not an Opto, it was like a switch.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: It was a switch that was sticking, and Kale's banging on the uh flippers, and he's just printing points.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: Because when we play, we're trying to compete with each other.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: It's just something that we do.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Uh, and Kale's winning, you know, he kicks our ass a lot, and it's kind of annoying.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: So thanks a lot for that, Kale.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: But then we went back uh again and again, and and uh they did take one off the floor, so there were six Bon Jovis, and they took one off the floor, and then they left the space, which I thought that was a little weird.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Not a big deal, right?
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: But just comprise put them together, and then you know, the people on Saturday, no one would have a clue that one was gone.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: But maybe one went into in and maybe one wasn't gone because it wasn't working.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe one was gone because they put it into that VIP room.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: That could have been the case, actually.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: But uh just put them together because it looked weird because everyone was like, oh, what the hell happened to that one?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Um just my advice real quick.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: But Bon Jovi's a great shooter.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Uh, it really is.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: It it is really a lot of fun, and they did something really smart there.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: And uh I don't know if I can credit Dirty Pool completely for this, but Jeff was showing us that the two machines on the outside, one that was in the uh the tent and one that was on the out on the end of the tent, you could put headphones on.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Got to do that.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: That was a must at a show.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: It was the smartest move right there.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: That was really, really smart.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Because then you could really hear how brilliant the sound of that game is.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: Do you want to uh hurt yourself after It's My Life gets stuck in your head?
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe, I don't know, but um no, it's good.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Uh really I thought that was a really smart move on their behalf to go ahead and do that.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Moving on to Turner Pinball, a lot of big lines there too, right?
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: There were lines all over the place, okay?
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: So uh everywhere you you were three to six deep in every single place, right?
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: You would just it you just had to wait in line.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, it is what it is, right?
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: And and I'm not gonna ask for VIP treatment or any of that bullshit.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: So uh so we go to Turner, pinball, and they've all played UConn Yeti.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: So Ralph has one and the bat has one, so I had to kind of go by myself to play that, and it's fantastic.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: It was just fantastic, and then it glitched on me, and uh I was like, everyone that was playing with me were like, this doesn't happen to you, Cognetis.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: This doesn't happen to Turner Pinball, but it was it it was like ball four, ball three, player four, I was, and it glitched, but uh so what?
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: Who cares?
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: It was great.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: I I really enjoyed playing it.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: Um I I like the finesse flipper, I'm just not that good at it yet.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Not yet, but I will be.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: It it's it's a fun game, and I hope somebody around here gets one that will invite me over to their house because uh that that is a that's a neat machine.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: I think he sold a bunch this weekend too.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: So I hope he did.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Congratulations, Chris Turner.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, just a fantastic machine.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: I loved it.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Uh and sorry for the glitch.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: I was the glitch king, right?
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: Because then I go over to Padretti and uh Andrea is the nicest dude, right?
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: And so he recognized me, which is always weird, and uh was told me not to play one machine because they had to work on some coil issues or something.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: So he asked me to play this machine.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: I was like, okay, cool, no problem.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: And it was great.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: I I I was absolutely blown away at the remake of Totan.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: Uh it is it's it's stunning.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: It's a beautiful machine.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: I couldn't get over how beautiful that machine was and how great it played.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: Uh it it's one of my best in show, to be honest with you.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: It really was.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: It's just a fantastic machine.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: I really dug it.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Uh I went back, I probably played five games on that, and uh throughout the night, had a blast.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: Really.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: So congratulations, Pra Jay.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: That was uh really uh a surprise for me.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: A surprise for me.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: It wasn't a surprise for Ralph's because he has one, but it was that as a surprise for me.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Uh moving over to Hexa, they're funny, okay?
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: The they're pretty funny over there at Hexa.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Uh especially Alice, who is the main salesperson.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: I don't know her direct role with Hexa, but she's very funny.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: And we got to play Alice and it totally glitched.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: And I felt really bad, right?
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna switch hands.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: I felt really bad because I was the glitch king man, right?
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: I was just glitching all these machines.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: I was on a roll, right?
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: So I started getting worried that something was gonna keep happening at every manufacturer that I was stopping at.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: And I'm and I was gonna feel bad for them because I'm gonna glitch your machine out, right?
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Uh Alice is a fun, if first of all, the art's really pretty.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: It's a pretty damn machine.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: It I don't know if I love it, uh, if I would buy it yet.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: Um it's their second machine.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Um the code is the art is pretty cool and the animations are pretty cool.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: I just like the Three Musketeers just doesn't do anything for me.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: It must be really big in Europe.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: Like that's what Ralph said, right?
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: It must be just huge in Europe.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: But they're so nice that you root for them, right?
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: And there's a possibility that the bat might get one or someone might get one.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: I I don't want to I don't want to ruin that, but there's a possibility that you might start seeing a lot more three musketeers out in the wild.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: And if you do see that, maybe people will will will like it and and you know the the company can make a couple of bucks and maybe make a third machine.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Who the hell knows?
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: Uh, but congratulations to Hex and good luck with that, is what I always say.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: You know, good luck.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Let's see how that goes.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: Um, all right.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: Already said JJP Stern.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: So I coming off glitching, and I go, you know what?
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: I need to go to a manufacturer, no offense to anybody else, but that I feel pretty confident that I'm not gonna blow up this machine.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Uh because I was on a run, I was like three for four on uh Thursday and Friday.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: So I go over to Stern.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: I had never played Faw Premium yet.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: I had not, because the uh at Eureka they have the pro.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: They're getting a premium, but they right now they only have the pro.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: And so I'd never shot the Canon.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: I never um sorry, never shot the canon, I never got to do any of the cool shit.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: So we waited in line again and again and again.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: And uh, but waiting in line when you're uh a micro celebrity or wherever the hell I am, it's not a bad gig, right?
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Because you're not just sitting there, you're with your buddies, and then a lot of people come up to you and want to talk to you.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: And I thought that was badass, right?
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: That was one of my favorite things about Expo is that people were just so damn nice.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, I didn't have one bad experience.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: I really didn't.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: It was so awesome, you know.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: I'm uh I'm I'm still on that high uh of Expo, but that was really an awesome part of it that nobody was mean or anything, everyone was so damn nice, right?
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: So that made it really cool when you you were waiting in line and people came up to you and said, Hey, I'm sorry to bother you.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: And it was never a bother.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: I I promise you that.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: It was it's totally badass, made my days, really.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: But I got to play Fallout, the canon's pretty badass, um, and the vault, how it kind of like pops out and turns, is yeah, done very well, done very well.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: So, congratulations to everybody, Stern.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: It is, it really is a beautiful machine.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: I can't wait for the premium premium to come to Eureka.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: I can't wait.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: The the only weird thing about Stern was they announced ACDC, right?
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: And I was kind of pumped, it looked pretty cool, all the art looked great, right?
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: But then none of us got to see it.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, and then there was a rumor coming around that it was gonna be at the Stern Army launch party, and the rumors like go through the content creators because we all know each other a lot, right?
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: And we'll text each other, like, hey, are you going to the Stern Army tonight?
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Because I heard there's gonna be an ACDC.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I don't think there's gonna be an ACDC there, and I don't want to leave the floor.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Um, so sorry, Michael Grant.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: I know you invited, well, we got an invite from well, we kind of asked for the invite, which is I'm sorry about that one, and then we didn't even show up.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: So, Michael, I'm that was shitty.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: And Zach, too.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Zach, I think this was actually Zach Sharp who was kind enough to get us the tickets, and we were just too tired and lazy.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: And that's what happens at Expo sometimes, right?
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Because you're just walking and walking and walking.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I'll get back.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: I'm on a little ADD kick right now, but uh you know, the first day I wore sambas all day, and my feet were effing killing me.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: It was absolutely brutal.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: And then the next day I I went for I said, screw fashion, screw it.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go with the damn comfort.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: So I wore the hookahs, and I felt like a dork in them.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: But, you know, dad shoes, it's fine, you know.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: It was it it felt better, but you know, you're only doing about 10,000 steps, but it's the fucking concrete what gets you.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: And I spent a lot of time on Saturday in the Stern booth, and and not it's not just because I don't I I love those guys, they're really nice to me.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: It's just they have carpet and it's a baller move.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: It's a baller move.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: Speaking of baller moves, I forgot I didn't say I'll tell you this for American pinball.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: I forgot, I forgot.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: They had American pinball on the lanyard that you got for Expo, right?
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: So if you're walking around Expo, you see American pinball logo on every single person that's in there.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: And every single person of every other manufacturer was didn't bring their own lanyards, right?
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: So Barrels of Fun employees are wearing American pinball on their shirt.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: And finally, on the last day you saw them, realize, because I would go up to them, I would go, I was busting some of you know the barrel guys' butts, and I would my buddy Lee.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: I went, Lee, how do you feel about having an American pinball logo right above your on your chest?
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: And you started seeing like on Saturday, Stern brought their own lanyards, JJP brought their own lanyards.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: It was just, I don't know, it was kind of funny.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: Anyway, back to the topic at hand.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: Uh Stern, everyone was really nice.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: I got to meet people that I'd never met before, and it it was a lot of fun.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: So Stern has a DJ, okay?
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Do you ever go to a brunch spot and see a DJ and the music's too loud, but you look over and the DJ he's not even playing the music that you necessarily like, it's they're playing music that they like.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: That's the thing about DJs.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: They really do that sometimes.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: I feel because I'm getting older.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: I'm like, who the hell would play this song?
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Well, the DJ in the in the stern booth is awesome.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: He's a good damn DJ.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: He was rocking, and then he was so damn excited of the music that he was playing.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: He's just in his own fucking world, and and uh so congratulations to the Stern DJ.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: He was really cool.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: I didn't get to see the Stern talks from Jack.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: Uh I did not.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: So that was kind of a bummer.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: But um I was going to a lot of different seminars, and I'm so I didn't have time to do that.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: But um we did uh I'll talk about Jack in in a few minutes when I talk about the Round Tables Live episode uh that we did, a seminar that we did.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: Well, who am I missing?
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Spooky, right?
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: Spooky didn't have a booth, and that that is such another bother move to me, right?
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: I've always thought the fact that they don't have a booth at Expo not annoyed me, but it was like, damn it, I wish they had a booth.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: But they don't have to have a booth because another uh distributor brings all these souped-up Beetle juices there.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: You get to play them.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: You can't buy them, I don't think.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: I think they're all sold for, but uh, it's so awesome that you get to see that, and then you know that something is coming on the horizon, right?
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: And everyone's just this massive anticipation.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: I just think it's the baller move of the century, okay, uh, from Spooky to do that.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: They don't have to, but I'll tell you something weird, and Rachel pointed this out.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: I don't want to steal Rachel's thunder for this, but Rob Burke, God bless you, Rob, but during the Spooky seminar, you kind of he he grabs the mic, right?
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: And I think he kind of pressures Spooky to Bug to say that he was gonna have a booth next year.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't know.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: That's how I that's how I saw it.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Go back and watch the pinball news thing and tell me if I'm crazy.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Because right when I saw it, I was like, that's weird.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: And then Rachel brought it up, and I went, yeah, you're right.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: He got Bug got pressured.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Don't feel pressured, Bug.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: Don't you know what?
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: If you don't want to have a booth, it's a ball or move.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: You don't need a booth.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: I got to hang out with him.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Uh, first time, really, that I got to hang out with Bug and AJ.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: And uh, what a great crew he's got over there, right?
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: I got to hang out with Don from Don's Pinball.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Don Garrison is a funny dude, guys.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: I really love this guy.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: I had an absolute blast.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: We ate ice cream with Burrs.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: Uh, shout out to Burr again, okay.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: This guy, it's gotten too popular because the line was so long.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: Burr's just sweating.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: I mean, not over the ice cream, okay?
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: He's not sweating into the ice cream, I promise you.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: All right, he's not gross.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: He's burrs.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: He's great, dude.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: But um uh the line was ridiculous for the ice cream, it was awesome.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: But I got to hang out with uh with Bug for a little bit, tell him funny stories of pinball.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: And uh they they win Expo for me, right?
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: They win it.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Just just like the homebrew section, uh they win it.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: They really, really do.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Did I talk about the homebrew section already?
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: If I didn't, let's uh real quick, my favorite homebrew in there was Dark Chaos.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: That is that was so amazing.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: But all the work that these people put in and all the work that Erica puts in and all Manu and Emoto, my you know, there they just they bust their ass.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: Marco busts their ass.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: I didn't get to see Aaron at all, and that was kind of a bummer for fast.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: Uh he's one of my faves.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Didn't really get to see him.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: Uh I saw him for about five minutes Thursday night during the ice cream social, if you will, but I didn't get to see him that much.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: But great dude.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Just this fantastic dude.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: What else?
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: Okay, one of the days, it was Saturday.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: My Saturday was pretty packed because I watched uh Rachel and Cale's seminar about operating pinball machines.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: They got two hours, so I had to leave uh the second hour, but the first hour I absolutely loved.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: I did more seminars this time, and and I made a conscious effort because they're fun.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: The bug and Franchi one was the absolute best.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: That's that was a packed room.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: That room is packed for that.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: And it was an absolute blast.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: They they do a really good job.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: They did this thing called uh heads or tails.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: They make you everybody stand up, and you you head, you put your hand on your head or your hand on your ass, and it's for heads or tails, and they flip coins, and then the last person gets this major prize.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: And they did it three times.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: Total blast.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: Everybody had so much fun.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: And Franchie's so good up there that uh they played off each other so perfectly, and the audience asked some pretty good questions.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the audience doesn't ask good questions, they don't.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: And I go, I'm cringing, like, come on, guy, don't ask that.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Don't and then Kale will look at me, it gives me this look like I was at a seminar, and there when there was a person in the front row that was made it about themselves, and that's it's not your seminar, dude.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: You you you guessed, it's their seminar.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: Why are you making it about you?
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: That was that was weird.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna call out that.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: I just did actually, but they won't know.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: They won't know it's me.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: Um, but the seminars were great, that huge room, and I didn't get to go to the content creator one because I was riding such a high after ours that um we went out to dinner.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: But let me go through the room real quick.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Let me finish the room, ADD Jamie, and then we'll go to uh the the roundtable event that we did.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: I can't wait to tell you about that.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: So we am I missing a manufacturer?
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: I don't think so.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Stern, barrels, jjp, I gotta talk about the electric playgrounds booth, American pinball, Dutch, oh Dutch.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: I did get to play the Big Lebowski purple edition, uh, Jesus edition.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: Holy shit, it's pretty.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: Damn it, it's pretty.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: It played really good.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: Um, it's really pretty.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: Shit.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: Because I want to make fun of them, right?
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Because we're not gonna, you know, we need a time machine to get back to the future, but I think it's gonna, it could be really pretty.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: And that was the talk of it.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Well, a lot of people were asking me, and when they would stop and me, I because I was I played multiple games on the on the Big Lebowski, and when people were walking up to me saying, What do you think?
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: What do you think?
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: They also said, What do I think about Back to the Future?
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I don't know, I haven't seen it.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: You know, I saw this whiteboard stuff that was released, and and but I have no idea.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: I don't have a clue.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: I think it's gonna be, but you know, if it's anything like this, like the Big Lebowski is a really great game, it's a really great pinball machine.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: Um, it just takes them forever.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's the rub, right?
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: And then this 3000, like, what is it for?
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: Is it refundable?
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it's it's refundable, but I just don't know.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: I'm really I'm literally confused about what's going on with Dutch Pinball.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: I'm confused.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: I'm confused of how I feel.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: Uh, but it is what it is.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: Move on, Jamie.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Next subject.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: So P3, we did spend a lot of time with Jerry and the crew over at P3 Multimorphic.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: And it was interesting to watch Ralph, Kale, and Rachel play the P3 because they hadn't seen it much, and they hadn't played it much as much as I have.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: And Ralph doesn't like the three buttons, not a fan of it.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: I'm stealing his thunder here, but I don't think he likes the three buttons.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: He wants it to be one button.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: Um, and I don't think Kale and I cared about that.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: We uh uh Rachel, we like we kind of like the button thing.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: Kale, I believe, liked uh Final Resistance more than Dungeon Carler Carl because he the the disc is difficult, it's really close to you.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: And some people don't like that.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: Some people don't like that.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: Uh I like it.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: I like Dungeon Carlo Carl.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: I had never played book two, so that was really cool.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: And because I'm on book four, yeah, I am on book four.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: Let's talk about Dungeon Carlo Carl for a second.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: I got addicted to it.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: And uh the Jeff Hayes, who does the call-outs, is so fucking good at this that on my way to work and on my way back from work, I haven't been really listening to podcasts like I used to do, uh, pinball podcasts.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: I'm listening to Jeff Hayes and do these ridiculous voices of this game.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: Achievement.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: Uh it's it's it's just it if you haven't listened to book one, it's so good that I think if you just get past one chapter, you you're gonna fall in love with it because it's a really crazy premise.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: And uh book three, though, is a little bit of an ass drag.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: It's a little boring.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: But book four is starting out like a bang.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: I'm using my wife's audible one one per month.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: She's not she's not ecstatic with me for doing that, but I'm like, I'm actually reading.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: And I also I totally disagree with people that think listening to an audiobook is not reading.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: It is stimulating my mind, okay?
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: And that's when I'm it is it it's stimulating my mind.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: And I talk aloud half the time when I read anyway.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'm an idiot, but okay.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: So P3, Rachel loved it.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: Not to steal her thunder either, but I I think I really think she really liked it.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: So that that is wildly cool.
- 29:26SPEAKER_00: You know, and we we really had a good time at P3.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: Uh Jerry was a little tough on us, and I'll straighten that out with them.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: Uh, we just had a miscommunication, honestly, of of what the event was.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: We we really did think for some reason that we were gonna get to play the game without having to wait in line because their line, honestly, is one of the longest there.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Also, it can be a long player if you're if you're a good player.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: And the people just don't get to play P3s.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: And and and when I was in line with every time I was in line, people were nice and they were talking to me, and they would ask me, you know, what I think.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: And I and what I definitely think about multimorphic is that I love them.
- 30:15SPEAKER_00: And I I love that machine, I think it's fantastic, and I'm I think people are really gonna like it.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: They just gotta get their hands on one, they gotta go to places, and and they need to be in locations, and I and I think it's gonna be an unbelievable experiment at the bat if if they do get a Dungeon Carler Carl to see how it could hold up to 20 hours a day.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: Um so that'll be an interesting experiment for the electric batcast and the electric bat uh so good luck to Jerry and the team and congratulations.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: I like Dungeon Carler Carl a lot.
- 30:51SPEAKER_00: And it and and the call-outs from the the book, which are so brilliant, are just all over this game.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: They're all over the game.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: And how cool is that?
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: You know, it it's just again at the expo, you can't hear anything.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: So you you you don't get the experience unless you're like first in line on Thursday afternoon.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: But even like Friday night or or late Saturday night, we were up late Saturday night, the DJ's still rocking.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: There's still this lot of music, so you can't hear the game completely, but you you can hear Jeff Hayes' achievement, so that's pretty wild.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: Um I talked about the ice cream.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: All right, let's talk about let's let's talk about pinball uh round table.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: First of all, I tell it is called the pinball round table, not the JBS round table.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: It is the pinball round table, it is on the JBS channel.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: I don't know why it keeps getting screwed up.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: You know, we we write it up in there, and and I'm not blaming Rob Burke or anybody, but I know for a fact we we put it as the pinball round table on the JBS from the JBS show or something like that.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: I don't remember what the what we the the writing, but I know it's not the JBS round table, it's the pinball round table on the JBS channel.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to fix that.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: Just want because it sometimes it annoys me.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: Uh so we have this live round table.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: We've got one hour, seven o'clock in the main room on Saturday, and I'm getting nervous going up, right?
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: Also, we don't have any topics.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: We don't have like a whole list of things that we're gonna talk about yet.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: We we hadn't perfected it.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: We hadn't sat down as a group and said, do this is the list that we want to go through.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: And the reason we have to have a list, okay, for people that bust on us is if we just go off the rails, it's gonna be three hours.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: And that's what happens when we go off the rails because that turns into three to four hour podcasts, which some people don't like.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: And we only have one hour, and it's strict because the women in pinball are coming right up behind us, and Erica's moderating.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: So I don't want to screw up anything with Erica, she's the best.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: So I've got to keep us, and this is on my ass, so I'm nervous.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: Plus, I don't, I don't, I was just so scared that no one was gonna be there.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: I was so nervous.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: And so everyone I talked to that came up to me, I mentioned the seminar room.
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: And I almost felt like I was pressuring you guys a little, and I'm sorry about that, but I was so afraid of crickets.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: I was so afraid of crickets.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: I kept going, oh my god, it's gonna be crickets.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: There's gonna be crickets in there.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: There's uh uh David Fix announced us, right?
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: He was our uh presenter, and that was a little weird.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: No offense, David, okay?
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: I don't know you very well, all right?
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: I promise.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: Uh but it was just it's just a little weird having a presenter uh and that doesn't know us that well, right?
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: So, like Rachel should have presented us.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: Um, she would have done a fantastic job.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: It's not that he didn't do a good job, all right?
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: He just doesn't know us, he doesn't vibe with us.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: Like Rachel would have been perfect, right?
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: Glenn Wector would have been perfect if he was in town.
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: But those are the two that I think could have could have done that.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: And next year, if we're invited back, we might not be invited back.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: Um so I want I I I ask all of you to to watch it.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: I put it up on on YouTube as, and it's also on Pinball News, and I put it up as an Apple Podcast.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: So thank you, Pinball News, and thank you, Martin, for doing this.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: You're in that room all day long.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: You never get to see Martin on the floor.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: You really don't.
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: He's just in that damn room, and he does a really great job, and he's not getting paid for this.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: It's just a passion of Pinball News.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: Or maybe he gets paid.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I hope he does actually.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: Brad Burke, you gotta pay that dude, man.
- 35:15SPEAKER_00: He he documents the whole every seminar.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's a no-brainer.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: He needs to be paid.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: But uh, thank you so much, Martin.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: Uh it means a lot.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: And when I went up to you and asked you, he he goes, I went up and said, Do you mind if I take it, the audio phone and put it on as a podcast when we're done?
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: And he says, It's your content.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: You can do whatever you want with it.
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: You can put it on your own YouTube, do whatever you want.
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Holy cow, that's so nice.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: So thank you, Martin.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: I really appreciate it.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: Uh so I was nervous when we started out.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: I was nervous.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: I even said it to the crowd, like, I have a little anxiety here, and they clapped and they got me going.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: And then within like five minutes, I think I was my regular self.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: I wasn't worried about it.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: The the problem with a live studio audience for to when you re-watch it is that you can't hear the audience, right?
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: You can't see that it was a pretty good-sized room, and we had a lot of people in there, and I was really, really happy with that.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, that was just such a great showing.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: So many of my friends came, and uh, I don't want to single anybody out because I'll forget somebody, but that was awesome.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: I absolutely loved that.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: And uh, but you know, we get in trouble.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: Uh we we say things.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: We told the Jerry story, uh, and it's not the Jerry story, it's just it's just a miscommunication story.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: Um we almost released JJP's next game.
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: We uh which we know, which is crazy that we know this, and uh, but we can't we promised we wouldn't say anything, and I've had a bad run of my big mouth, so I'm keeping this one, I'm keeping this one solid, okay.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: But then the super so then uh the super chats during the thank you for the super chats, they did live super chats.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: So if you're watching the video and you don't understand why we were who we were calling out, people were writing stuff on napkins and bringing it up to us with two dollars, except Ozzy gave way too much money.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Ozvet, again.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: Uh, and they wrote their super chat and we read it.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and that was really funny.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: That absolutely cracked us up.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: And we took that money and we went out for sushi.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: So thank you so much.
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: Me, Ralph, Rachel, and Kale, when we finished the round table, we went out for sushi at Bluefish, and it was delicious.
- 38:03SPEAKER_00: It was freaking ridiculous.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: I couldn't believe that that sushi was that good in Schomburg, but uh it really, really was.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: It was good.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: Um, but I was a little nervous, and then I was nervous that it was I get nervous after the podcast.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: Um, was it good?
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: All right, was it funny?
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: But I know we had some funny parts.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: Like we were talking one of the if you didn't see it, we were talking about Turner Pinball.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: The rumor is that their next game is a licensed game, right?
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: So we were like, well, they do a lot of family-friendly stuff.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: What would be uh a appropriate family-friendly title that is licensed that Turner would probably try to make?
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: And someone yelled out veggie tails and this and that, and I came up with Caillou, and then anyone that is in their late 40s, uh, 50s that raised kids, that fucking Caillou character was on TV, and I would let my kids watch him because he he was a spoiler shit.
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: He's constantly whining.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: Uh, so for the people that watch me that and you can hear when you hear the laughter, you I looked and you could just see the people that are my age that raise kids and and uh fucking Caillou.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: Anyway, so there were a lot of funny moments.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: Go back and watch it if you don't mind.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, you can't hear the audience completely.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: Some of the questions, when people are shouting and they don't have the microphone, it's not gonna pick it up, all right?
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: And so Pinball News, they're doing their best, they did their best.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: It was really great.
- 39:44SPEAKER_00: And again, Martin, thank you so so much.
- 39:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, I want to give a shout out to Papa Shot.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: I got to play it a lot more than I've ever played it.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: There was always a line on that Papa Shot, and congratulations to them.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Uh, and he bought us pizza, and it was just absolutely lovely.
- 40:01SPEAKER_00: So I'm really pushing Eureka Heights to get a Papa Shot.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: I think it would print money for them, and it would be totally awesome.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: So I hope that make that happen.
- 40:11SPEAKER_00: Back to the seminar.
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: So I think we I missed the topic too.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: It was about Luke and Spooky and Bug, and uh I screwed that up.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: And Kale went back and watched, and he goes, He he's gonna yell at me the next round table.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: I guarantee you he's gonna call me out on the next round table because I skipped topics.
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: So uh I don't mean to.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: This one, I just missed it.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, but sometimes if I don't think a topic is going to fly, I won't bring it up.
- 40:42SPEAKER_00: And as a moderator, I uh I kind of get away with murder and they're gonna call me out on it.
- 40:48SPEAKER_00: I guarantee you.
- 40:49SPEAKER_00: I guarantee you that's coming.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: Because uh they give me shit about missing topics.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: All right, what else about the uh live round table?
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: Uh it was just very wonderful that everybody showed up, right?
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: It was and interactive and laughing and hanging with us, right?
- 41:13SPEAKER_00: It it felt like a regular round table with the studio audience, and I really hope that we didn't piss enough everybody off that we know we can do it again because it was an absolute blast.
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: I had so much fun doing that round table live that we were on such a high.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: I really wanted to go to the content creator one that Josh Root did, but we were on such a high from having so much fun that we were, and we got the super chats, we're like, fuck it, let's go to eat some sushi.
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: Um, but then we came back and uh said our goodbyes to everyone.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: It was it it was an excellent expo, man.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: It was a really great expo.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: Uh there are people that I wish that I saw and we'd wave to each other because we always thought we'd have more time to hang with them, but you didn't get time to hang with them, right?
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: Like I only I hung out with Kerry Hardy a little more this this expo than I had.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: Uh but I I hung out with him a lot at TPF.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: Carrie's a great dude, he's funny.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: Um, he really, really is.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: He's a character.
- 42:21SPEAKER_00: So I I I enjoyed hanging out with him.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: Again, I really had a blast with Don.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: Um I I had a blast with a lot of different viewers, if you will, people that watch me, and I had so much fun hanging with them, talking to them where they're from, and trying to get to know them just as much as they're trying to get to know me.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: So that was a really cool, cool part of Expo.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: It really, really was.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: This was hard for me.
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: I I've never done anything like this unscripted.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: I next time I think I definitely need notes.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: But this was fun.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: Um, there are so many people to thank and so many people um to go through, but I I can't do it because I'll screw it up.
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: So it was a pleasure seeing everyone.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: It really was.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: Tune in uh for my 100th episode is coming up, right?
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: This is I'm not gonna count this.
- 43:17SPEAKER_00: This is just a bonus.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: I'm probably I'll put it up as a podcast, as a bonus episode, if you will, because my 100th, I have like 18 to 20 people coming on, and we're gonna do a two, three-hour session and multiple guests.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: It's 10-minute increments, 15-minute increments.
- 43:37SPEAKER_00: I think it's gonna be an absolute blast.
- 43:40SPEAKER_00: Uh, the last thing uh I want to share with you is more information is coming about the Pinball Academy Awards.
- 43:47SPEAKER_00: We're dead serious.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: We're doing an award show.
- 43:50SPEAKER_00: We're dead serious, we're bringing it back, we're fixing it.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: It's going to be uh epic.
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: 20 we're gonna have 20 to 25 Academy voters.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: We're not voting, the people aren't voting, the experts are voting, and it's going to be unbelievable.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: I I promise you, more information is gonna come from content creators to industry awards, it's going to be the award show.
- 44:18SPEAKER_00: We're pumped about it, and we're pumped.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: We can't wait.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: Kale, Ralph, I pumped.

- 44:41SPEAKER_00: Rob Burke, thank you for again for allowing us to do that seminar because it was a blast.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: It was really one of my highlights, besides meeting everyone here and hanging out with my friends.
