Singing them ole time nostalgic songs in a new way
Composer, singer and pianist Gon Halevy has created a show of classic Israeli songs rearranged and performed with an eight-piece string orchestra and grand piano. Halevy told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that the nostalgic songs in the repertoire were chosen as a way to unify Israelis. The performance is called "Childhood Soundtrack" and opens in Tel Aviv on July 11th. (photo: courtesy)
