- 0:21Speaker 1: winners with a Z.org. Amen. So let's pray. Father, I
- 0:24Speaker 1: thank you so much for your time, for your place here.
- 0:28Speaker 1: and highly lifted up place in heaven, your throne, your mercy,
- 0:32Speaker 1: your sacrifice, your ultimate sacrifice that was once for all.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Your amazing grace, your proper authority that you deserve the honor, worship,
- 0:44Speaker 1: and praise for. I thank you, Lord God, that you
- 0:46Speaker 1: have done this once for all, that whosoever calls upon
- 0:51Speaker 1: your name shall be saved and rescued. Thank you, Lord God,
- 0:54Speaker 1: for your power, your authority, your grace, and your mercy.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord God, for saving us and rescuing us.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Thank you for keeping us. Thank you for your power
- 1:03Speaker 1: and your display and evidence of your creation because of
- 1:09Speaker 1: your footprint on every single one of us. We are
- 1:12Speaker 1: created in your image. So thank you, Lord God. I
- 1:14Speaker 1: can only thank you that you sacrificed once for all
- 1:18Speaker 1: and given us an opportunity to experience eternal life in
- 1:21Speaker 1: heaven with you. In Jesus' holy name, I pray this
- 1:24Speaker 1: by faith. And those who agree, we say amen. Amen.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Let's go for it. Let's get into these scriptures. Amen.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And we pray for no more distractions with this microphone
- 1:33Speaker 1: and the audio system. Amen. So let's go. Hebrews, let's
- 1:39Speaker 1: say chapter 7, verse number 27 in the scripture. To me,
- 1:44Speaker 1: this is so clear, clear to me. Amen. You know,
- 1:49Speaker 1: I'm inspired by Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit lives and dwells.
- 1:52Speaker 1: We are the temple of God here on earth. those
- 1:55Speaker 1: who follow and believe in Jesus, those who are filled
- 1:57Speaker 1: with His Spirit. So maybe that's why it's so clear
- 2:00Speaker 1: to us. But if it's not clear to you right
- 2:04Speaker 1: now because you don't have a personal relationship, amen, I'm
- 2:07Speaker 1: believing God in His way, in His perfect way, that
- 2:12Speaker 1: He would give you understanding of what is being said
- 2:16Speaker 1: right now. And then that will humble you enough to
- 2:19Speaker 1: turn to Him as Lord and Savior. Hebrews 7.27 says,
- 2:25Speaker 1: He has no need to offer sacrifices day after day
- 2:30Speaker 1: as those high priests do. First for their own sins
- 2:36Speaker 1: and then for the sins of the people. He, Jesus,
- 2:41Speaker 1: sacrificed for sin once for all. When what? When he
- 2:48Speaker 1: offered up himself. Notice that the Lord Jesus, this is
- 2:54Speaker 1: who this scripture is speaking of, did not sin, but
- 2:59Speaker 1: he sacrificed for sin. A high priest during those times,
- 3:04Speaker 1: they first sacrificed for their own sins and then for
- 3:10Speaker 1: the sins of the people. See the difference here? This
- 3:12Speaker 1: is why it's so clear. But Jesus sacrificed for sin.
- 3:17Speaker 1: He didn't sacrifice for his own sin because he did
- 3:19Speaker 1: not sin, for sin once for all. Very powerful statement.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Once for all, when what? When he offered up himself.
- 3:29Speaker 1: There was no need for the Lord Jesus to sacrifice
- 3:33Speaker 1: for his sin. Why? Because Jesus is not a sinner.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Jesus never sinned. Jesus lived the perfect sinless. He didn't
- 3:42Speaker 1: sin less. He was sinless. No sin. We, on the
- 3:47Speaker 1: other hand, and the high priests in the old covenant,
- 3:50Speaker 1: during the old covenant times and all of that that
- 3:53Speaker 1: was going on with all the sacrifices, they had to
- 3:56Speaker 1: sacrifice for their own sin and then for the sins
- 3:59Speaker 1: of the people. Jesus is the ultimate high priest. He's
- 4:03Speaker 1: the King of kings and Lord of lords, right? In
- 4:06Speaker 1: the line of Melchizedek. That's another discussion. So Jesus paid
- 4:11Speaker 1: it all. Once for all. Jesus paid the debt that
- 4:16Speaker 1: we could not ever in a million trillion years afford
- 4:20Speaker 1: to pay. off right the highest sin debt i've ever
- 4:23Speaker 1: had in my life was paid off the highest sin
- 4:26Speaker 1: debt that you will ever have in your life has
- 4:28Speaker 1: been paid off and that's the sin debt so under
- 4:33Speaker 1: the old covenant this is where hebrews is pointing back
- 4:36Speaker 1: in this portion of scripture it's pointing back to the
- 4:39Speaker 1: old covenant under the old covenant the priests had to
- 4:43Speaker 1: offer sacrifices repeatedly for sin there's a lot of bloodshed
- 4:48Speaker 1: a lot of animals a lot of sacrifice It's like
- 4:51Speaker 1: kind of gory, right, if you think about it. I'm
- 4:54Speaker 1: going to spend a lot of blood on those altars, man.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And that's the way the system was set up during
- 5:01Speaker 1: the old covenant, the old promise, right? Good morning, Sister Joanne.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I see you. Good morning. God bless you. Welcome back
- 5:07Speaker 1: to the Morning Devo, my sister and my friend. But
- 5:10Speaker 1: Jesus came as our perfect high priest, our perfect high priest,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and offered something No other priest could offer. No other
- 5:24Speaker 1: priest could offer what Jesus offered. Jesus himself offered up
- 5:31Speaker 1: himself as the ultimate sacrifice for my sin and for
- 5:36Speaker 1: your sins. For our sins, plural. He was the ultimate sacrifice.
- 5:42Speaker 1: He offered. He laid down his life for us. This
- 5:47Speaker 1: is a display God demonstrated his own Love in this,
- 5:52Speaker 1: that while we were still haters of God, that while
- 5:55Speaker 1: we were still sinners, while we were still mockers, right?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Jesus still died for us so we could experience the
- 6:03Speaker 1: gift of life, eternal life. So Jesus did not have
- 6:07Speaker 1: to return to the old covenant ways, right? Jesus didn't
- 6:13Speaker 1: have to return to the cross day after day every
- 6:18Speaker 1: time he saw his people mess up. Every day he
- 6:22Speaker 1: sees me mess up. Imagine every time that he sees
- 6:25Speaker 1: us mess up that he has to go back to
- 6:26Speaker 1: the cross. What kind of system would that be? What
- 6:29Speaker 1: kind of kingdom of God would that be? What kind
- 6:31Speaker 1: of God would that be? What kind of Lord and
- 6:34Speaker 1: Savior would that be? That every single time that we
- 6:37Speaker 1: mess up, he says, oh man, I got to go
- 6:39Speaker 1: back to the cross again. No, he did it once
- 6:42Speaker 1: for all, right? His sacrifice was complete. It is finished,
- 6:49Speaker 1: Jesus said. Not he was finished. It, the sacrifice, the
- 6:54Speaker 1: sin debt was paid off, right? The transaction, that eternal
- 6:59Speaker 1: transaction was paid off once for all. The sacrifice was complete.
- 7:05Speaker 1: His sacrifice was more than enough. That word sufficient, more
- 7:09Speaker 1: than enough. And it was final, right? The gavel, bam, final.
- 7:16Speaker 1: This is what happens. And this is for all eternity. Amen.
- 7:21Speaker 1: The father was pleased to see his own son being sacrificed.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That's what the scriptures says. I'm paraphrasing. Because why? Because
- 7:30Speaker 1: it was final. The sin debt was paid. Now we
- 7:34Speaker 1: have the benefits of eternal life. Now we have the
- 7:37Speaker 1: benefits of being clean, close, and called by the Lord
- 7:42Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. Amen? Because of his bloodshed, the final sacrifice,
- 7:48Speaker 1: the ultimate sacrifice, Through his death and resurrection, because he
- 7:53Speaker 1: didn't stay dead, ladies and gentlemen. He rose from the grave.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Through his death and resurrection, he, Jesus, opened the way
- 8:01Speaker 1: for us to have a relationship with the Father. A
- 8:05Speaker 1: relationship with Yahweh. A relationship with God the Father. Amen?
- 8:09Speaker 1: By way of his Holy Spirit and because of the
- 8:11Speaker 1: ultimate sacrifice that the Lord completed on the cross. Defeating
- 8:16Speaker 1: the works and the power of the devil as well.
- 8:19Speaker 1: on that cross. He did that too, defeated the devil.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And now we have the ability and now we have
- 8:27Speaker 1: the benefits of serving the Lord because of his completed work. Amen.
- 8:33Speaker 1: We're benefiting off of that. Amazing, right? Jesus didn't have
- 8:37Speaker 1: to return to the cross day by day, sacrifice animals
- 8:41Speaker 1: day by day. He didn't have to do what the
- 8:44Speaker 1: old covenant priest had to do day after day, right?
- 8:48Speaker 1: They had to sacrifice first for their own sins and
- 8:50Speaker 1: then for the sins of the people. Didn't have to
- 8:55Speaker 1: do that. Why? Because he's other. He's highest. He is ultimate.
- 9:01Speaker 1: He is uber God, right? Sometimes we carry the weight.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Sometimes we carry the weight of past mistakes, right? I
- 9:14Speaker 1: always say that we're carrying around a dead corpse. The flesh,
- 9:19Speaker 1: which is old and dead because we became new creations
- 9:23Speaker 1: in Christ. We have a new heart, a new mind.
- 9:25Speaker 1: We have eyes that we see in the spirit now.
- 9:27Speaker 1: We have ears that we hear the voice of God.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And now we can speak the oracles, the promises, the miracles,
- 9:33Speaker 1: the miraculous ways of God. We have that authority. We
- 9:36Speaker 1: have that power. It was a blessing given to us,
- 9:39Speaker 1: a gift given to us by the Lord Jesus. He
- 9:43Speaker 1: sent his Holy Spirit to dwell inside of his living body. temples.
- 9:48Speaker 1: We are the living temple of God here on earth.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Once the Holy Spirit is removed from this planet earth,
- 9:54Speaker 1: this planet earth, the people here are going to really
- 9:56Speaker 1: see evil and darkness when we're removed from the earth. Amen.
- 10:01Speaker 1: That's a scary thought. For those who are not saved,
- 10:03Speaker 1: you should be worried about that. Amen. You should be
- 10:07Speaker 1: really concerned about when the Holy Spirit is out of
- 10:11Speaker 1: this earth, then what's really going to happen. All hell
- 10:15Speaker 1: will literally break out on earth. We're not going to
- 10:18Speaker 1: be here. brothers and sisters in the Lord, family of God,
- 10:22Speaker 1: the kingdom of God, we're out of here. We're coming
- 10:24Speaker 1: back with Jesus. Amen. With the new heaven and new earth.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So sometimes we carry the weight of past mistakes, which
- 10:32Speaker 1: allows guilt and shame to convince us that we are
- 10:39Speaker 1: beyond being forgiven, that we are beyond being transformed, that
- 10:43Speaker 1: we are beyond the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 10:46Speaker 1: And that's a satanic, hold on people. That's a demonic
- 10:51Speaker 1: hold on people that they're convinced that they're not enough,
- 10:54Speaker 1: they're not worthy enough, and they can never be forgiven
- 10:57Speaker 1: from God. That's a lie from the devil, a lie
- 11:00Speaker 1: from the pit of hell. It smells like smoke. Wake up,
- 11:03Speaker 1: be released from that lie in the powerful name of Jesus.
- 11:07Speaker 1: But Hebrews 7, 27, we read it just now, reminds
- 11:11Speaker 1: us that Jesus, the Lord Christ, the Mashiach, our Messiah,
- 11:17Speaker 1: has already done What we couldn't do for ourselves. So
- 11:23Speaker 1: religion will tell you, you have to do all these
- 11:26Speaker 1: things to line up and to get your favor with
- 11:29Speaker 1: the Lord. But the relationship of God and the gospel
- 11:33Speaker 1: and Jesus, his word says that he's already done the
- 11:37Speaker 1: hard work. Amen. He's done the work that was necessary
- 11:42Speaker 1: and that was final and complete for us to live
- 11:45Speaker 1: in abundance, for us to be saved, for us to
- 11:47Speaker 1: be born again. Again, for us to live a life
- 11:50Speaker 1: that's fruitful, not fruitless. Amen. So don't carry that weight
- 11:56Speaker 1: around no more. In the name of Jesus, be free
- 11:59Speaker 1: from the guilt and shame in the powerful name of Jesus.
- 12:02Speaker 1: We're covered by his blood. We are redeemed. We're restored.
- 12:06Speaker 1: We're renewed. We're forgiven. Right? We're saved. We're born again. Amen.
- 12:11Speaker 1: God has done an amazing transformative work in your heart
- 12:15Speaker 1: and in my heart. in your mind and in my mind.
- 12:17Speaker 1: So let's live according to how Jesus wants us to live.
- 12:22Speaker 1: And whoever wants to criticize or whatever like that, let
- 12:25Speaker 1: them do what they want to do. But as long
- 12:28Speaker 1: as we're concerned, right, let's follow the Lord Jesus. You
- 12:34Speaker 1: don't have to earn God's forgiveness. That's impossible. You can't
- 12:38Speaker 1: earn God's love. You can't earn God's forgiveness. You can't
- 12:41Speaker 1: earn God's favor. That's all religious jargon. That's all religions
- 12:47Speaker 1: We don't have to earn God's forgiveness through all these
- 12:52Speaker 1: efforts and all these tasks and all these things and
- 12:55Speaker 1: all this churchianity. No, we don't do that. You don't
- 12:59Speaker 1: have to punish yourself either for the sins that you
- 13:02Speaker 1: have confessed and you keep on struggling with. Don't punish yourself.
- 13:07Speaker 1: God himself is not punishing us. So why are we
- 13:09Speaker 1: punishing ourselves, right? Amen. Be aware. Be alert. Yes, repent. Yes, absolutely.
- 13:15Speaker 1: But don't punish yourself. for the sins that you've confessed
- 13:20Speaker 1: and turned away from. You realize that once you were
- 13:24Speaker 1: saved and once I was saved, we are delivered, right?
- 13:27Speaker 1: You realize that. Problem is the flesh wants to disobey,
- 13:32Speaker 1: wants to go against the word of God, wants to
- 13:35Speaker 1: war with the spirit of God, right? That's why I
- 13:38Speaker 1: believe the soul is saved, right? But the flesh is
- 13:43Speaker 1: not saved. The flesh is not going to inherit the
- 13:46Speaker 1: kingdom of God. We're not going to walk in heaven
- 13:49Speaker 1: with this bag of flesh and bones. We're going to
- 13:52Speaker 1: walk in heaven with a saved soul and a spirit
- 13:55Speaker 1: of God. Instead, instead of weighing yourself down, instead of
- 14:02Speaker 1: trying to be a good person, instead of trying to
- 14:05Speaker 1: gain favor with God or trying to be forgiven all
- 14:08Speaker 1: the time, instead of punishing yourself, instead of all of that,
- 14:12Speaker 1: trust God. Trust in the finished work of our Lord
- 14:17Speaker 1: Jesus Christ and walk forward, right? In the grace that
- 14:23Speaker 1: only he could provide for us. And his grace is amazing.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Like so amazing that I'm blown away by the grace
- 14:31Speaker 1: of God daily, like literally in my personal life and
- 14:35Speaker 1: in the life of others. I was like, wow, God's
- 14:38Speaker 1: grace is upon all of us. He's no respect of persons.
- 14:41Speaker 1: He's like, oh, I'm going to have more grace on
- 14:43Speaker 1: Sam than I'm going to have on Joanne. I'm going
- 14:45Speaker 1: to have more grace on Joanne than I'm going to
- 14:46Speaker 1: have on this person. God is not doing that. Not
- 14:50Speaker 1: his word. It's not his way. Amen. He says he
- 14:53Speaker 1: doesn't favor anyone. He doesn't have favorites. Amen. He doesn't
- 14:57Speaker 1: pick and choose one person above another. What he does
- 15:02Speaker 1: is invites all. Once for all. His sacrifice is once
- 15:05Speaker 1: for all. And everybody, it's an open invitation. Amen. For
- 15:09Speaker 1: whosoever calls. On the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- 15:13Speaker 1: What must you do? You must admit that you're a sinner,
- 15:15Speaker 1: believe in his word, and confess Jesus. How? Believe in
- 15:19Speaker 1: your heart that Jesus, the Lord, the Father, sent the Son.
- 15:23Speaker 1: The Son died on the cross. Believe this, right? In
- 15:26Speaker 1: your heart. And he rose again. And confess Jesus as
- 15:30Speaker 1: personal Lord and Savior. The Bible says when you do that,
- 15:33Speaker 1: confess him with your heart. Believe in your heart. Confess
- 15:35Speaker 1: with your mouth. Excuse me. Romans 10, 9 through 11,
- 15:39Speaker 1: around there. Then the Bible says you'll be saved. Saved
- 15:42Speaker 1: from what? Saved from the wrath and the due penalty
- 15:45Speaker 1: that was due for us because of sin. We're saved
- 15:50Speaker 1: from that. Jesus did the payment. He paid off the
- 15:54Speaker 1: sin debt, and that was once for all. So you
- 15:57Speaker 1: don't have to earn God's forgiveness through endless efforts. Don't
- 16:01Speaker 1: do that, and don't punish yourself. Just remember, your salvation
- 16:06Speaker 1: isn't based— my salvation— And your salvation is not based on
- 16:11Speaker 1: how perfectly we perform. Thank you, Jesus. If this was
- 16:16Speaker 1: all about performance, amen, there's enough actors in this world.
- 16:20Speaker 1: There's enough actors in religion. There's enough actors in the church.
- 16:24Speaker 1: There's enough actors in leadership of churches. We don't need performers.
- 16:29Speaker 1: We don't need performance. I know it sells a lot
- 16:32Speaker 1: of tickets. I know it gets a lot of stream
- 16:35Speaker 1: clicks and views online. I know it's popular to perform, right?
- 16:40Speaker 1: To have that charisma and to go up in front
- 16:43Speaker 1: of thousands of people and speak a certain way, walk
- 16:46Speaker 1: a certain way, act a certain way, dress a certain way,
- 16:49Speaker 1: flaunt your belongings, your possessions, and call it blessings from God.
- 16:53Speaker 1: It could very well be, right? But we don't boast
- 16:55Speaker 1: about what we have. We boast about who God is
- 16:59Speaker 1: in us. We boast about the Lord over here, at
- 17:01Speaker 1: least as soul winners. So just remember, your salvation is
- 17:07Speaker 1: My salvation is not based on performance or how perfect
- 17:11Speaker 1: you are, right? Because we're not perfect. Our salvation is
- 17:14Speaker 1: based on the perfect, just sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, right?
- 17:22Speaker 1: And that sacrifice was made for me and that sacrifice
- 17:25Speaker 1: was made for you. Everybody you know and everybody you
- 17:28Speaker 1: don't know. Because it was once for all. The sacrifice
- 17:33Speaker 1: was once for all. He doesn't have to return to
- 17:36Speaker 1: the cross. Amen. If you read Hebrews chapter seven, the
- 17:41Speaker 1: whole chapter, you're going to see why this is so important.
- 17:45Speaker 1: The whole word of God is important. Amen. But when
- 17:49Speaker 1: we're dealing with his sacrifice, how he offered himself up,
- 17:54Speaker 1: read the whole chapter where we're camping on a verse
- 17:56Speaker 1: 27 of Hebrews chapter seven. But if you have a chance,
- 18:00Speaker 1: read the whole chapter of Hebrews chapter seven, so you
- 18:03Speaker 1: can check it for yourself. Right. So ask yourself, are
- 18:07Speaker 1: you still carrying around this guilt and shame? Are you
- 18:12Speaker 1: still carrying around something that you think that Jesus cannot
- 18:18Speaker 1: remove from you? Are you still carrying guilt for something
- 18:23Speaker 1: that you've done or have I done, right? Still carrying
- 18:28Speaker 1: around guilt for something, right, that you know, One way
- 18:34Speaker 1: or another, you brought this guilt and shame to the
- 18:36Speaker 1: Lord already. Or are you trusting in the power of
- 18:41Speaker 1: the Lord's finished work? He removed the sin. He removed
- 18:46Speaker 1: the guilt. He removed the shame off of us. Amen?
- 18:51Speaker 1: So if we're carrying something around like that, we might
- 18:54Speaker 1: have to do a self check, right? To see we're
- 18:57Speaker 1: still in the faith. To realize that, listen, if I'm
- 19:01Speaker 1: clean because of the I'm close because Holy Spirit living
- 19:06Speaker 1: inside of me. And I'm called because whosoever calls on
- 19:10Speaker 1: the name of the Lord shall be saved. And many
- 19:12Speaker 1: are called, but few are chosen. And I'm also chosen.
- 19:16Speaker 1: So what's going on here? I could suggest that it's
- 19:22Speaker 1: the flesh, right? That's trying to fool us, deceive us,
- 19:27Speaker 1: our own sinful desires. Of course, the enemy is not
- 19:31Speaker 1: going to tell us the truth. The devil doesn't have
- 19:32Speaker 1: any truth in him. He's going to send demonic influence.
- 19:35Speaker 1: He's going to send people to distract, to try to kill, steal,
- 19:39Speaker 1: and destroy all of that. That's his job. So we
- 19:42Speaker 1: could make adjustments in our lives according to the scriptures
- 19:47Speaker 1: and live how God wants us to live. by way
- 19:50Speaker 1: of his Holy Spirit. He gives us everything we need
- 19:53Speaker 1: to live a righteous and godly life. God doesn't leave
- 19:57Speaker 1: anything uncovered in our lives. Amen. He doesn't force us
- 20:02Speaker 1: to do anything, but at the same time, he's a
- 20:04Speaker 1: loving father. He sent a loving Jesus to Christ, a
- 20:09Speaker 1: And now we have the loving, leading, the leadership of
- 20:12Speaker 1: Holy Spirit living inside of us. So if we stay
- 20:15Speaker 1: on the righteous path, we stay focused on the purpose,
- 20:19Speaker 1: be encouraged, we're transformed, right? We have faith in the
- 20:23Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ and we know that he did this
- 20:26Speaker 1: sacrifice once for all. You stay on that line of thinking, amen,
- 20:30Speaker 1: you're going to make it. And you're going to keep
- 20:33Speaker 1: on moving forward and moving upward and know that you're
- 20:37Speaker 1: humble enough To admit that we need Jesus day by day,
- 20:41Speaker 1: every day. We need God. We need his word. Amen.
- 20:45Speaker 1: We need his church. We need the body of Christ.
- 20:47Speaker 1: We need to be staying connected with one another. So
- 20:51Speaker 1: trust in the power of the Lord's finished work. Are
- 20:56Speaker 1: you trusting in Jesus, his finished work? Or are you
- 20:59Speaker 1: trusting in your circumstances? And you're trusting in his world system. Amen.
- 21:04Speaker 1: You have to decide that for yourself. And that's a
- 21:07Speaker 1: day-to-day decision. When you're driving your car, you're making a
- 21:10Speaker 1: day-to-day decision, moment-to-moment decision. You're making hundreds of decisions to
- 21:17Speaker 1: try to get to your destination safely. Every other thing,
- 21:22Speaker 1: like the mechanical failures, a breakdown, a flat tire, an accident,
- 21:25Speaker 1: all that, is out of your control. But guess who
- 21:29Speaker 1: has that? authority over all those mechanical issues, over your tire,
- 21:34Speaker 1: over the traffic, over you getting into an accident or
- 21:36Speaker 1: me getting into an accident. That's right. The Lord Jesus Christ.
- 21:40Speaker 1: So I rely on him daily. Amen. I don't have
- 21:43Speaker 1: any control outside of that, outside of what God is
- 21:47Speaker 1: doing in my life. Amen. I don't even have control
- 21:49Speaker 1: over that. I'm just available. You could just be available.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Show up. Sometimes all you got to do, I said
- 21:55Speaker 1: this a thousand times, all you have to do is
- 21:57Speaker 1: show up and let God use you. Amen. He has
- 22:01Speaker 1: the perfect plan, the perfect purpose for us. And he
- 22:05Speaker 1: showed it. He offered himself up. He didn't have to
- 22:11Speaker 1: do what the high priest did. They had to first
- 22:15Speaker 1: sacrifice for their own sin. Well, Jesus did not sin,
- 22:19Speaker 1: so therefore he didn't have to sacrifice for his own sin.
- 22:22Speaker 1: He sacrificed for the sins that we committed, right? Once
- 22:29Speaker 1: for all. He offered himself up once for all. That's
- 22:32Speaker 1: a love story right there, man. If you don't see
- 22:35Speaker 1: the gospel as a love story, if you don't see
- 22:38Speaker 1: the scriptures as an act of God's love, then I
- 22:42Speaker 1: can't help you. Amen. From Genesis to Revelation, he's showing
- 22:45Speaker 1: us his grace and mercy. He's showing us his redeeming work,
- 22:49Speaker 1: his redemptive work all through the scriptures. The prophecies were
- 22:53Speaker 1: pointing to our Lord and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 22:57Speaker 1: He's more than a prophet, right? He's more than a
- 23:00Speaker 1: good teacher. He's more than a rabbi. He's the high priest,
- 23:03Speaker 1: the sinless, perfect priest. Amen. And we have evidence and
- 23:08Speaker 1: proof of that. And we can testify because he's done
- 23:11Speaker 1: a work in our hearts and on our minds. So
- 23:14Speaker 1: I know a lot of theologians that are against the scriptures,
- 23:19Speaker 1: even within Christianity, that's saying that Jesus is not God.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I saw a debate yesterday on a woman, Dr. I'll
- 23:27Speaker 1: show whatever her name is. Amen. Very interesting show. She
- 23:30Speaker 1: has women on her show. She's a woman. So she debates.
- 23:34Speaker 1: And there was a Christian, says she was a Christian,
- 23:37Speaker 1: that doesn't believe that Jesus is God and doesn't believe
- 23:41Speaker 1: in the triunity of God. Well, that's another discussion, right?
- 23:47Speaker 1: So the challenge is to let go of guilt and
- 23:52Speaker 1: shame in our own lives. Let it go. Let it go.
- 23:56Speaker 1: it will free you up from so many things, right?
- 24:01Speaker 1: That keeps you looking backwards because you notice that every
- 24:05Speaker 1: time you sin and every time I sin is because
- 24:06Speaker 1: I'm looking back. Have you noticed that? When you fall
- 24:09Speaker 1: into certain areas of sin, it's because you're not looking forward,
- 24:12Speaker 1: you're looking back. You can get into an accident while
- 24:15Speaker 1: you're driving. If you turn your head back while you're
- 24:18Speaker 1: driving forward, you might get into an accident. Same way
- 24:21Speaker 1: with our lives. We keep on looking back at the past,
- 24:25Speaker 1: Past mistakes, past sins, past situations, you might fall into
- 24:30Speaker 1: all kinds of treacherous things. Receive God's forgiveness today, right now, right?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Learn from our mistakes, but receive God's forgiveness for those
- 24:39Speaker 1: mistakes and take the next step in faith. And that
- 24:43Speaker 1: next step is to know and trust that Jesus paid
- 24:47Speaker 1: it all. It's not just a saying, it's the truth, right?
- 24:51Speaker 1: Live like you believe that. And let God do a
- 24:55Speaker 1: work in your life. Amen. So share this word out
- 24:59Speaker 1: once and for all. Hebrews chapter 7, 27. Jesus made
- 25:02Speaker 1: the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. You don't have to
- 25:06Speaker 1: earn his love or live trapped in yesterday's failures, right?
- 25:12Speaker 1: Trust in his finished work. Walk in his grace. And
- 25:16Speaker 1: remember that the price has been paid once for all.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I hope you enjoyed today's word. Amen. This morning, Devo.
- 25:24Speaker 1: And let God inspire you, move you forward. So I'm
- 25:26Speaker 1: out of here. I'm out of time. But thank you
- 25:28Speaker 1: so much for hanging out with me. It's an honor
- 25:30Speaker 1: and privilege to be a part of your day. So
- 25:32Speaker 1: God bless you all. God keep you all. And remember
- 25:35Speaker 1: always that God is good. Peace.
