- 0:00Speaker 1: Oh, America's favorite fake doctor. You're talking about yourself again? Man, Oh,
- 0:07Speaker 1: look at you? How are you where a hit? I
- 0:09Speaker 1: gotta tell youst on them before you even say a word.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna put you in a good mood. Guess what
- 0:14Speaker 1: GQ Magazine UK says is the second best podcast of
- 0:20Speaker 1: the year. What's that? US mofo? What's the first? I
- 0:25Speaker 1: don't know, I just clicked on it. The first one
- 0:27Speaker 1: is one called Popcast. Have you heard that? I know
- 0:30Speaker 1: if we ain't number one, and we ain't doing shit
- 0:34Speaker 1: number one, they got thirty three listed here. Bro that
- 0:37Speaker 1: you the people of the United Kingdom like us. I
- 0:39Speaker 1: love the people of the United Kingdom. Listen, I want
- 0:42Speaker 1: to hear what they said about us. Sure, go ahead.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Following in the wake of successful podcast launches from fellow
- 0:47Speaker 1: former TV stars at Sopranos and The Office, that's bullshit.
- 0:50Speaker 1: We were right before the Sopranos. I think anyway, who
- 0:56Speaker 1: shots fine? I know I actually don't want shots fired
- 0:59Speaker 1: at the Soprano Guy. Zach Braff and Donald Faison have
- 1:02Speaker 1: launched a podcast recapping the show that made them famous,
- 1:05Speaker 1: the two thousands medical sitcom Scrubs. Braff and Phason met
- 1:08Speaker 1: at the table read for the series, which ran for
- 1:10Speaker 1: nine series. They say series there instead of seasons, and
- 1:14Speaker 1: still has a devoted cult audience that you guys listening
- 1:17Speaker 1: thank you ten years after its finale and have been
- 1:20Speaker 1: best friends ever since. Braf hosted Phason's wedding in his
- 1:23Speaker 1: back garden. I would have said yard again, British people, okay. Naturally,
- 1:29Speaker 1: their rapport as podcast hosts is second to none. Donald's
- 1:33Speaker 1: second to none when it comes to number two, because
- 1:35Speaker 1: they're not judging solely rapport, they're judging podcasts as a
- 1:39Speaker 1: whole on Earth this year. If if the list were
- 1:43Speaker 1: best rapport, we'd be number one. Number one. Yeah, natural,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna read that please, yes, listen ready, I'm gonna
- 1:51Speaker 1: read that sense again because it's a delightful one. Naturally,
- 1:54Speaker 1: their rapport as podcast hosts is second to none, and
- 1:57Speaker 1: each episode gives listeners a window into a show biz friendship,
- 2:02Speaker 1: as well as behind the scenes anecdotes about the show.
- 2:05Speaker 1: The guest roster has thus far been excellent, with Bill Lawrence,
- 2:08Speaker 1: John McGinley, Sarah Chalkburne and Fresh You're all popping in
- 2:11Speaker 1: over the course of the run. Charming trips down memory lane. Aside,
- 2:14Speaker 1: they also deal with some of the slightly more awkward
- 2:16Speaker 1: results of looking back at an old show in twenty twenty,
- 2:19Speaker 1: having frank conversations about episodes that feature blackface and racist
- 2:24Speaker 1: and sexist jokes. Well, they didn't have to end on
- 2:27Speaker 1: that sentence, for God's sake. The point is that we're
- 2:32Speaker 1: a big hit. GQ is a fancy magazine and they
- 2:36Speaker 1: like this. I've heard of them. Man, They're freaking they do.
- 2:38Speaker 1: They do great articles, right, I know what it stands for,
- 2:41Speaker 1: what gentle gentlemen quarterly? Gentleman's quarterly, but no ladies are
- 2:47Speaker 1: allowed to look at it. But I think it's intended
- 2:49Speaker 1: for the well dressed gentlemen. Like you're allowed to read Cosmo,
- 2:54Speaker 1: but you probably won't. I've never yea, I know, have
- 2:59Speaker 1: you ever read a Cosmo? No, I've drank one, though.
- 3:06Speaker 1: How are you doing, friend? I'm well, friend. How are
- 3:09Speaker 1: you I'm good? Yeah, I know, it's yeah, just just chilling,
- 3:14Speaker 1: just just getting by day by day. Babe. All right, Um,
- 3:17Speaker 1: tell me about your your weekend. What happened? What kind
- 3:19Speaker 1: of festivities? What did we do this weekend? Right? So
- 3:25Speaker 1: we went and if my dream could really come true.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I could get a golf simulator in my house. They're
- 3:34Speaker 1: so expensive, man, And it's like, but this is the
- 3:39Speaker 1: new video game, right, this is the new video game.
- 3:41Speaker 1: If you can somehow figure out a way to make
- 3:43Speaker 1: a video game that's so active that you do work
- 3:47Speaker 1: up a sweat. I feel like, you know, I've seen
- 3:50Speaker 1: all of these things with like the there's this one
- 3:52Speaker 1: thing where you put your iPhone on a plank board
- 3:55Speaker 1: and then you plank and but uh if you but
- 3:58Speaker 1: they put puzzles on the iPhone so you kind of try.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You have to try to make an object travel through
- 4:04Speaker 1: the maze that white I didn't know what. Well, you
- 4:09Speaker 1: got to buy it. But so it's like you're doing
- 4:11Speaker 1: it and you you're obliques and everything are getting worked.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And golf simulators are similar to that because it's almost like,
- 4:19Speaker 1: all right, look, not everybody's going out as much anymore, right,
- 4:25Speaker 1: especially to like the gym that doesn't really I don't
- 4:28Speaker 1: foresee myself doing that. You know, in my backyard, playing
- 4:33Speaker 1: golf is great. My kids are now into golf, but
- 4:36Speaker 1: I can't take them to play eighteen yet because they're
- 4:38Speaker 1: one way too tiny to the people behind us. Would
- 4:42Speaker 1: be pissed off. So a simulator would be great because
- 4:46Speaker 1: it looks like a video game. They put up targets, you,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you get a big screen, you get VR goggles. You
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't need VR goggles, but it would be cool if
- 4:53Speaker 1: if they if golf, If this thing you're talking about
- 4:56Speaker 1: entered the world of VR and you can look around
- 4:59Speaker 1: and stuff and play, I'd be amazing. It's just that
- 5:01Speaker 1: equilibrium would fuck kids up and grown ups up to
- 5:06Speaker 1: like walking into walls, you know, breaking furniture with your
- 5:10Speaker 1: club because you don't know where you are. All of
- 5:12Speaker 1: these things come into play, Okay, But with uh, I
- 5:15Speaker 1: feel like this is the conversation you're you're repeating the
- 5:18Speaker 1: conversation that you said to your wife to present to
- 5:21Speaker 1: her the idea why you guys need a golf simulator? Right,
- 5:24Speaker 1: And she said, no, I'm trying because I feel like
- 5:27Speaker 1: these I feel like these talking coins have been used before. Right.
- 5:31Speaker 1: But it's kids can work up a sweat, right, And
- 5:34Speaker 1: so my kids we saw a commercial for one on
- 5:37Speaker 1: television and my kids were like, oh, that looks like fun.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And I was like, oh does it look like fun?
- 5:43Speaker 1: And I tried my hardest to pitch it to my
- 5:45Speaker 1: wife and she was like, well, how much does it cost?
- 5:48Speaker 1: And I looked at the price and she was like, yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 1: that's not happening. Well, so, first of all, isn't it good? Though?
- 5:54Speaker 1: In COVID times when you can't really do anything, I've
- 5:57Speaker 1: seen you hitting balls and with the kids on your
- 6:00Speaker 1: Instagram and so at least you have something. If you
- 6:04Speaker 1: got this, you now have officially nothing to leave the
- 6:06Speaker 1: house for. It would now have the thing where you
- 6:09Speaker 1: can take the kids to the course, right yeah, but
- 6:11Speaker 1: you only get like an hour really with them outside. Also,
- 6:14Speaker 1: there's a bunch of so to get good at golf,
- 6:17Speaker 1: you need to practice. That's just how it is. And
- 6:20Speaker 1: being outside right now is a great thing. I can't
- 6:25Speaker 1: keep my kids on a golf course for you know,
- 6:27Speaker 1: four or five hours. That just don't have it in them.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I thought you said that Rocco does nine holes. He does.
- 6:32Speaker 1: We do that in about an hour and a half
- 6:33Speaker 1: to two hours after that by the ninth hole. I'm
- 6:36Speaker 1: surprised he can do it. I mean, I would think
- 6:38Speaker 1: he'd get he loves it. He loves golf, man, he
- 6:40Speaker 1: loves it, and he can like play like he can
- 6:43Speaker 1: like let's be honest, he can hit the ball right,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and sometimes he hits the ball and I'm like, holy shit,
- 6:52Speaker 1: he's gonna be a pro one day. And then sometimes
- 6:54Speaker 1: he hits the ball and I'm like, okay, he's only six,
- 6:57Speaker 1: you know what I mean, right, But he loves it.
- 7:00Speaker 1: He loves playing it. I'm trying to work with him
- 7:03Speaker 1: on putting like everyone else out there. Putting is the
- 7:06Speaker 1: hardest thing in the world, and he struggles with it.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And I mean it's just interesting to be like, yo,
- 7:12Speaker 1: let's go ride bikes. No, I don't want to ride bikes. Okay,
- 7:16Speaker 1: let's go play nine holes okay, and he jumps out
- 7:19Speaker 1: like I can name so many other things to go
- 7:21Speaker 1: outside and do. Well, he's your minime. You successfully built
- 7:25Speaker 1: your minime. He's like, Dad, let's him talk about Star Wars,
- 7:27Speaker 1: play video games and then go play golf. No. Yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 1: I mean he's not into Star Wars as much as
- 7:32Speaker 1: he should be, as much as You're still finding ways
- 7:35Speaker 1: to be disappointed, you know, but uh, right now, he's
- 7:38Speaker 1: really in the Minecraft and that you know that. And
- 7:42Speaker 1: because of Minecraft, he's now into coding and he wants
- 7:45Speaker 1: to learn how to code so he can create his
- 7:47Speaker 1: own video game. That's amazing. It's I love I love it.
- 7:51Speaker 1: But he's like, there are things for kids to learn
- 7:53Speaker 1: how to do that at there's he's at the perfect
- 7:56Speaker 1: and what does he get for a six year old? Well,
- 7:58Speaker 1: he's at the perfect age right now for coding. This
- 8:00Speaker 1: is when they start introducing it in schools in first grade,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and so now that school is going to be at
- 8:06Speaker 1: home for a bit. Uh we uh, you know there
- 8:10Speaker 1: must be like a game. There are a bunch of
- 8:13Speaker 1: softwares and apps that he can pick up that teaching.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Minecraft is actually one of them. I was going to say,
- 8:18Speaker 1: there's Minecraft based programming tools that you can learn that
- 8:21Speaker 1: show you very simply, like here the connections it's from
- 8:24Speaker 1: A to B and what those connections and like you
- 8:26Speaker 1: know binary switch flipping things. That's it's all built into Minecraft.
- 8:30Speaker 1: It's weird. You remember taking Basic in high school. That's
- 8:34Speaker 1: the only that's a programming language, right, That's the only
- 8:37Speaker 1: thing I ever did related What is that? Like DOS
- 8:40Speaker 1: and all of that ship. Yeah, it was like it
- 8:42Speaker 1: was like if X, then why it was? It was
- 8:45Speaker 1: it was not definitely not for me, right, Well, I
- 8:49Speaker 1: mean if you stuck with it, you were making games
- 8:51Speaker 1: by you'd be making games by now. I want to
- 8:54Speaker 1: play golf with the guy that wrote the script for
- 8:57Speaker 1: the Call of Duty game at his country club and
- 9:01Speaker 1: I was like, holy cow, let's call of Duty did this?
- 9:06Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, it's a really popular game. Hit Man
- 9:10Speaker 1: too started playing. It's scary. I gotta say it's a
- 9:14Speaker 1: little pus. I'm not being a puss. It's just so
- 9:17Speaker 1: realistic that I gotta be honest. At first. I walk
- 9:20Speaker 1: into this house, right starts off. It's a beach house.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Walk in. There's nobody around. I'm like, I'm still, I'm
- 9:26Speaker 1: figuring out how to move around. I'm crouching, I'm I'm
- 9:29Speaker 1: walking around. It's beautiful. The graphics are insane. They say
- 9:32Speaker 1: you might want to shoot out those cameras. I'm like,
- 9:33Speaker 1: good idea computer shoot out. The cameras go in the house.
- 9:37Speaker 1: There's dead bodies. Now I'm freaking out and like, oh shit,
- 9:40Speaker 1: there's some dead bodies here. I start walking around the house.
- 9:45Speaker 1: You know it. Skin's obviously built to sort of get
- 9:47Speaker 1: you the feeling. This is exactly the difference between white
- 9:50Speaker 1: people and black people when they walk into a house.
- 9:52Speaker 1: In the movies, Man, a black person walks in the
- 9:55Speaker 1: movies over credle right there and there we walk in.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Oh shit, there's dead bodies on the ground. Turn around,
- 10:01Speaker 1: I'm leaving credits roll. White person walks in. He's like,
- 10:07Speaker 1: oh shit, dead bodies. I'm freaking out here. I start
- 10:10Speaker 1: looking around the house. Yeah, well, I know I'm meant
- 10:14Speaker 1: to look around the house. I'm a hitman, for God's sakes,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but I'm a nervous hit man. I decided that my
- 10:20Speaker 1: hitman character is a little anxious, and so I go
- 10:25Speaker 1: in the house. I'm looking around and I'm poking. I
- 10:27Speaker 1: find this weapon's room, which is exciting. Okay, I just
- 10:30Speaker 1: load up. I mean, it's unrealistic how many weapons I'm carrying,
- 10:32Speaker 1: but I just fill up all my pockets and everything
- 10:36Speaker 1: with every weapon that I can have, and I'm excited.
- 10:39Speaker 1: At this point. I'm having fun in the game Beautiful Home.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm looking around. All of a sudden, the fucking bad
- 10:44Speaker 1: guys all come home, right, and they're like, Okay, you
- 10:49Speaker 1: need to kill just this one guy, don't kill everybody else. Well,
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm trying to hide. I got nowhere to go. I panic.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I kill everybody and they're like, don't kill her. No,
- 11:05Speaker 1: They're like, don't kill her, and I was like, well,
- 11:07Speaker 1: she came near me. I got all these weapons. I
- 11:08Speaker 1: just killed everybody. Sounds like a fun game. No, we're
- 11:12Speaker 1: supposed to do that. Apparently I panicked and killed everybody
- 11:16Speaker 1: hit That's probably a good reason not to have all
- 11:18Speaker 1: these weapons in your house because people came back and
- 11:21Speaker 1: I panicked and I killed everybody. But no, I'm gonna
- 11:24Speaker 1: get I'm gonna practice. I got nervous. I got nervous.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I gotta practice. You don't really play video games that much.
- 11:29Speaker 1: It's been a long time. You know that we've had
- 11:30Speaker 1: this discussion. But I'm excited about a hit Man too
- 11:33Speaker 1: beautiful graphics. I just I just the vision that I
- 11:37Speaker 1: have of you is you in your underwear with a
- 11:40Speaker 1: j in the ash tray, with the freaking Xbox remote controller.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You don't have on a T shirt, you just have
- 11:47Speaker 1: one tidy Whitey's and you're sitting on your couch playing
- 11:49Speaker 1: video game, playing hit Ye and scared too of it
- 11:52Speaker 1: and scared by yourself in the dark with your new dog,
- 11:55Speaker 1: with your puppy and Roscoe sitting next to you. I mean,
- 11:59Speaker 1: it's kind I'm inaccurate, but it sounds delicious. I might
- 12:02Speaker 1: try that tonight. All you need is a big Hogginds
- 12:06Speaker 1: ice cream. Life is perfect. You're right man on Hoggins though,
- 12:10Speaker 1: Ben and Jerry's that's right, Ben and Jerry's that's right.
- 12:13Speaker 1: By the way, Ubi Soft they sent me a bunch
- 12:15Speaker 1: of games because we were talking about Xbox. What they
- 12:18Speaker 1: send you send you games? You know who didn't send
- 12:22Speaker 1: me games? Nintendo? That's you know. I went to bat
- 12:26Speaker 1: for Nintendo Switch. You know what they did nothing? Well,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I don't have the games in front of me, but
- 12:31Speaker 1: you'll be is Ubi Soft? How you say it? Yes? Yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 1: all right, Well I got like Ubi Soft. I guess
- 12:37Speaker 1: listen to the podcast because they sent me like the motherload.
- 12:41Speaker 1: You know. Well, I see your face, so you can
- 12:43Speaker 1: you can borrow? Ready to go? Well, they're for Xbox.
- 12:48Speaker 1: When you start talking about your PlayStation, yeah so much. Well,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I love, I love, I love all my new Ubi
- 12:56Speaker 1: Soft games. We get it in the show. It's a
- 12:59Speaker 1: very sexual one. It's about Ken two people, the sex buddies.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Oh you want to do the recap to six seven
- 13:07Speaker 1: Night Stories about Shore We made about a bunch of
- 13:12Speaker 1: dots and nurses and Candid the stories. So yeada around here,
- 13:23Speaker 1: a yata around you here. I wasn't trying to steal
- 13:32Speaker 1: your recap Thunderdog recap. I was just sitting here while
- 13:35Speaker 1: I was waiting to get on the podcast thinking ken too.
- 13:39Speaker 1: That's the central central tenant of Look at that. He
- 13:44Speaker 1: wrote it down on a card. It's like he did
- 13:47Speaker 1: homework and shit, God, you're impressive. Not as impressive as
- 13:52Speaker 1: you are. That's true because listen, I've seen I've seen
- 13:56Speaker 1: you naked. Yeah you have. I look pretty good naked.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I think actually in this episode, you see me naked.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I mean, you know I'm talking about Yeah, that's what
- 14:06Speaker 1: I'm talking about. And then I'm very thin. I don't
- 14:09Speaker 1: have any pectoralis majors. But you know that. I was
- 14:12Speaker 1: gonna say this. You're like, you're like, uh thin, but
- 14:15Speaker 1: you hadn't started lifting weights yet. Yeah, I'm more muscular now,
- 14:19Speaker 1: but now you're like, I'm at least thin, and I
- 14:21Speaker 1: have nice areolas, they're not too big. Um. Well, now
- 14:24Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna ask the question, Daniel Joel, do
- 14:28Speaker 1: you think it's possible? What? Well, you gotta ask the
- 14:32Speaker 1: question first, ten two people, Yeah, two people can too
- 14:37Speaker 1: human beings be sex buddies without someone catching feelings and
- 14:43Speaker 1: starting to feel more than just casual about it. It's impossible.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's not possible. It's totally possible for the right two people.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I was like, ninety percent of the time someone's gonna say,
- 14:58Speaker 1: ninety nine point nine percent of the time, I wouldn't
- 15:01Speaker 1: even give it a ten percent of a chance of happening.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Joel's almost bah, I'm sorry, it's like freaking uh prefect purel.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Ninety nine point nine percent of that bacteria is gone, dude,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Definitely seeing people just have the kind of
- 15:22Speaker 1: relationship or that you just get together, high five and
- 15:24Speaker 1: walk away, and I think that it's awesome. I don't
- 15:27Speaker 1: think most people can do it, but I think that
- 15:29Speaker 1: two people who understand each other, who are on the
- 15:31Speaker 1: same like basis, who don't want to be in relationships
- 15:34Speaker 1: but like enjoy sexual intercourse, they can do that most people. Now, Okay, Dannel,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I agree with Joel. I mean, I think you know, nowadays,
- 15:43Speaker 1: communication is such that people are much more open to
- 15:45Speaker 1: the conversation when I think before people would have been like, uh,
- 15:49Speaker 1: maybe straight away from the idea that like, well, once
- 15:52Speaker 1: we're having sex, we at least have to talk about it.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I think, you know, at this point, people are way
- 15:56Speaker 1: more open to the conversation of maybe we're not looking
- 15:59Speaker 1: for that kind of thing right now, and casual sex
- 16:01Speaker 1: is a much more you know, socially acceptable option. Right
- 16:04Speaker 1: But the longer I'm just saying this, guys, the longer
- 16:07Speaker 1: it continues, the harder it is for it the lines
- 16:11Speaker 1: not to get blurred. It's impossible. I think, yeah, sure,
- 16:14Speaker 1: if we did it once once or twice and walked away, yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 1: and then maybe a month or two later we did
- 16:20Speaker 1: it again, yeah, sure, and then you know it was
- 16:22Speaker 1: like that. But if you're doing it the way they
- 16:24Speaker 1: were doing it, there's no way. I agree. I agree.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I think the casual once in a while hook up
- 16:30Speaker 1: is not what we're talking about. We're talking about people
- 16:32Speaker 1: that are like legit only hooking up with each other
- 16:35Speaker 1: and trying to keep it just sex. I don't think
- 16:39Speaker 1: it's possible. I think someone one of those two people
- 16:42Speaker 1: is going to catch feelings. As the kids say, let's
- 16:46Speaker 1: take a break, we'll be right back after these fine words,
- 16:56Speaker 1: let's get out the timer then, and oh yeah, let's
- 16:59Speaker 1: hear this. I don't want you to try and take
- 17:01Speaker 1: off the you know, my brief summary of the discussion
- 17:06Speaker 1: from your time. Then okay, here we go and go.
- 17:11Speaker 1: This episode's called My Sex Buddy, but I really feel
- 17:14Speaker 1: like it should be called blurred Lines. Carla loves the
- 17:16Speaker 1: way it makes her feel when her patients like her.
- 17:20Speaker 1: She warned. She's warned by Kelso that her feelings could
- 17:23Speaker 1: impair her judgment and to check them. JD and Elliott
- 17:26Speaker 1: are feeling the pressure from work, and to alleviate the pressure,
- 17:29Speaker 1: they become sex buddies. Turk warns JD that becoming sex
- 17:32Speaker 1: buddies with someone leads down the same path for everyone. Eventually,
- 17:37Speaker 1: the lines get blurred. Nice blurred lines. That is true,
- 17:43Speaker 1: well said. It is about I like how you always
- 17:47Speaker 1: tease out the central the central theme. Well done, Thank you,
- 17:52Speaker 1: well done. Judy had a big role in this episode.
- 17:56Speaker 1: She what would you say? She? What's going on with her?
- 18:02Speaker 1: She wants to be the one that gives patients the
- 18:04Speaker 1: good news, but she's overstepping her bounds a bit. No.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I would say that the problem that Carlo runs into
- 18:10Speaker 1: at the hospital this episode is that she's uh. She
- 18:13Speaker 1: loves being liked by all of her patients. Um, that's
- 18:17Speaker 1: her and it's and it's kind of a mislead in
- 18:19Speaker 1: the episode two where you think that the the flip
- 18:23Speaker 1: is that Carlo loves to be like and and and
- 18:27Speaker 1: it's getting all the love and Elliot loves to be
- 18:29Speaker 1: liked and isn't getting any love whatsoever. But then it
- 18:31Speaker 1: turns out that she's been sabot Elliot's been sabotaged. But uh,
- 18:35Speaker 1: Carla uh loves the fact that all of her patients
- 18:39Speaker 1: are like, you know, what do you think? And you
- 18:41Speaker 1: know they look to her for advice and everything like
- 18:44Speaker 1: that because she's liked by them. And Kelso warns her, like, look, man,
- 18:49Speaker 1: that's great, but you're yearning to be loved by everyone
- 18:55Speaker 1: can get in the way of you making the right decision.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So is it right for this dude to go home? Sure? Yeah,
- 19:00Speaker 1: he could totally go home right now, but his oxygen
- 19:06Speaker 1: level is a little low and that could lead to
- 19:11Speaker 1: a problem later on. Are you sure that he should
- 19:15Speaker 1: go home even though you want to be liked even
- 19:18Speaker 1: though you told him he could go home, and you
- 19:20Speaker 1: want to be liked by him, so by you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: and that that's a problem. Man, that's a problem for anyone.
- 19:26Speaker 1: If you want to be liked, you're gonna wind up
- 19:28Speaker 1: doing things that you don't want to, like helping somebody
- 19:30Speaker 1: move or driving them to the airport, or doing dumb
- 19:33Speaker 1: shit like that, just because you want to be liked. Yeah,
- 19:37Speaker 1: kiss my ass man, drive your ass today. But I
- 19:40Speaker 1: don't know, I don't know where I'm going to listen.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I don't know where I feel about then. I'm very
- 19:46Speaker 1: I told you how I feel about it. I'm very
- 19:48Speaker 1: against it. I told you how I feel about it.
- 19:51Speaker 1: But no, but no, but sincerely, that's what this is about.
- 19:54Speaker 1: It's about Carla trying to you know, she loves the
- 19:57Speaker 1: feeling of, you know, everyone liking her and her being
- 20:01Speaker 1: able to give information to people and them taking it,
- 20:04Speaker 1: you know at value, that's great information. Thank you, Carla,
- 20:07Speaker 1: because it's from you. I appreciate it. Well. At forty
- 20:11Speaker 1: five seconds in Elliott mentions that something JD did was
- 20:16Speaker 1: very unique. It was some sort of new sexual position
- 20:19Speaker 1: that she really really enjoyed, and then we flashed to
- 20:22Speaker 1: j D taking copious notes um watching Animal Planet right
- 20:27Speaker 1: and and and and Turk enjoying it as well. Yeah,
- 20:31Speaker 1: watching with j D and enjoying it, says did that
- 20:34Speaker 1: monkey just bite that other monkey on the ass? And
- 20:36Speaker 1: I don't know, but she seems to like it, and
- 20:40Speaker 1: we're nodding looking at yeah, so we can I think
- 20:43Speaker 1: we can assume that whatever sexual position Elliott was enjoying
- 20:46Speaker 1: and involved some ass play, yes, being bit as biting,
- 20:51Speaker 1: asked ass cheek nibbling. Do you do you do? You do?
- 20:57Speaker 1: You want to? Don't answer that. I don't. It's either
- 21:01Speaker 1: gonna be. It's either gonna be do I like to
- 21:03Speaker 1: nibble on asses? Or do I like my ass nibbled on?
- 21:06Speaker 1: And I'm not going to answer either one. You don't
- 21:08Speaker 1: want to go either way with the conversation. No, let's
- 21:11Speaker 1: talk about being Wonder Twins. I was realizing that you
- 21:14Speaker 1: and I are looking for an entry into this whole
- 21:16Speaker 1: superhero world. Why can't we be the Wonder Twins? Because
- 21:20Speaker 1: they're lame? They're so No, No, the Wonder Twins are
- 21:26Speaker 1: the lamest characters ever pushed on the youth. One can
- 21:32Speaker 1: form an animal and the other can form water and ice,
- 21:36Speaker 1: well and ice things, that's water. What would universe were
- 21:40Speaker 1: they a part of? It was a super friends? Did
- 21:44Speaker 1: you used to watch? It was DC. It was the
- 21:45Speaker 1: DC universe, but they were they I don't think they
- 21:48Speaker 1: were from this planet though they had weird ears. Joel,
- 21:52Speaker 1: can you do a little recon for us on the
- 21:54Speaker 1: origin story of the Wonder Twins because we bring them
- 21:57Speaker 1: up a few times on Scrubs. I know that. I
- 21:59Speaker 1: once say for an Ice Manora, they're the lamest superheroes ever.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Like it was like it was like, yeah, they're only
- 22:06Speaker 1: good for like putting out fires in the on the show.
- 22:10Speaker 1: On the show, that's it, dude, think about it. Look
- 22:14Speaker 1: what was that show? Meanwhile, the Hall of Justice? What's that?
- 22:18Speaker 1: That's that's just that's the that's the Justice the Justice
- 22:21Speaker 1: League Friend, the original one when we were Yeah, we
- 22:23Speaker 1: were growing up, that's what it was called, the Justice League. No,
- 22:26Speaker 1: it was Justice Friends or something like that. Meanwhile, at
- 22:28Speaker 1: the Whole of Justice. Do you remember that? Yeah? No,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I do remember that. I would like to find that
- 22:33Speaker 1: cartoon and watch it again. I need to on iTunes. Okay,
- 22:38Speaker 1: you should show that to your kids. That's what I'm
- 22:40Speaker 1: gonna do that. Look, man, first of all, the animation
- 22:43Speaker 1: from all of these shows when I was growing up
- 22:45Speaker 1: aren't really that dope anymore? Like I tried to show
- 22:48Speaker 1: them g I, Joe and Transformers. When I was a kid,
- 22:51Speaker 1: that shit looked dope. R My son's like, why does
- 22:53Speaker 1: it look like that? It's not matching? Really like, it's okay,
- 22:56Speaker 1: it's on, Hannah Barbara, Hannah Barbara, that's what we were
- 22:59Speaker 1: looking for. But that's inverse. The twins were created by
- 23:03Speaker 1: Norman Mauerer the super Friends series. That's what it was,
- 23:06Speaker 1: The super Friends, super Friends. Okay. They were originally called
- 23:10Speaker 1: Dick and Jane and their sidekick was Mighty Monkey. Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: Mighty Monkey. Well, listen, I think when I have kids,
- 23:17Speaker 1: and I'm sure parents listening have tried this to some
- 23:20Speaker 1: success and some not. But I feel like I would like,
- 23:23Speaker 1: if I'm gonna have to watch my kid watch a cartoon,
- 23:26Speaker 1: to pull up some of my favorites from when I
- 23:28Speaker 1: was a kid, like like Hannah Barbara, Oh, I did
- 23:31Speaker 1: pull up one? What what about Flintstones? Can you watch
- 23:34Speaker 1: Flintstones with your kids? Not? I didn't pull that up.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I pulled up Jet. Since I pulled up Jem, did
- 23:38Speaker 1: they like Jem? She's truly outrageous, truly truly truly outrageous.
- 23:42Speaker 1: They watched it and they loved it. You know what
- 23:45Speaker 1: the thing about jam is, it's the music. Man, It's
- 23:47Speaker 1: the music because it's made by the same people who
- 23:49Speaker 1: create its transformers and g I Joe and stuff like that.
- 23:52Speaker 1: So it's the same type of animation, but it's music
- 23:55Speaker 1: and some of it and the songs in it are
- 23:57Speaker 1: freaking banging, dude. Okay. So I was able to get
- 24:01Speaker 1: through like half of season the seasons as long as
- 24:04Speaker 1: can be, but I was able to get through half
- 24:06Speaker 1: of season one one day with the kids, and we
- 24:09Speaker 1: didn't watch it. We just kept it on and the
- 24:12Speaker 1: music would play, and then we turn and listen to
- 24:13Speaker 1: the music and watch the music video. So both kids
- 24:16Speaker 1: like the songs. Yeah. What about Josie and the Pussycats?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Great great movie? Great movie? You know, nobody rocks the mic?
- 24:26Speaker 1: What about um right on your Motorbikes with j I
- 24:30Speaker 1: really like the jets kicking it in the bins with
- 24:34Speaker 1: Is that your your cameo? And people around the world
- 24:38Speaker 1: they wish they could be friends with. Don't you guys
- 24:43Speaker 1: die or something? No, we live. What's the movie you're
- 24:47Speaker 1: in where you're that would be see that. I'm sorry
- 24:49Speaker 1: to cut you off. This is the last one. I
- 24:50Speaker 1: won't do this again. Yeah, I can't fight. That would
- 24:52Speaker 1: be a good movie to come out. Reunion, Backstreets going
- 24:57Speaker 1: on tour, New Additions going on on tour. All these
- 25:01Speaker 1: major bands from back in the day are going on tour.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Dejere should go on tour and see if they could
- 25:07Speaker 1: rekindle the light that they had when they were popping.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Who was in your band? It was me, Alex Martin,
- 25:17Speaker 1: Seth Green and Breckan Meyer and Alan Cumming was our manager. Right,
- 25:24Speaker 1: isn't there something involving a plane crash? There is what
- 25:27Speaker 1: we survived. Oh you survived? What do you parachute out
- 25:29Speaker 1: or something? No, Alan Cumming and the pilot parachute out
- 25:33Speaker 1: and we crash. And this is how Joe we are
- 25:35Speaker 1: the reasons why Josie and the Pussycats were found. It's
- 25:38Speaker 1: because of us. Okay, I did see that one. I
- 25:41Speaker 1: gotta rewatch it anyway. I was just thinking that we
- 25:44Speaker 1: could pitch to DC Hannah Barbara that you and I
- 25:47Speaker 1: are the one of twins, but you don't seem for it.
- 25:50Speaker 1: If they could figure out a way to make the
- 25:52Speaker 1: one of twins dope, I would totally be down. All right,
- 25:55Speaker 1: Do you want to be the person who can make
- 25:56Speaker 1: an animal or the person who can make ice things.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I think the person who can make ice is probably
- 26:02Speaker 1: the one that gets to do the dope things, you know. Yeah,
- 26:05Speaker 1: like because you don't make ice anything. I mean it's
- 26:07Speaker 1: good ice, right, right, you can make an ice airplane
- 26:13Speaker 1: form of an ice airplane, right, I mean unless you
- 26:16Speaker 1: know animals from other planets and stuff like that, you
- 26:20Speaker 1: can't really Like, what's the biggest animal you can make
- 26:23Speaker 1: that you've seen in real life? Like a whale? But
- 26:26Speaker 1: that's not really helpful. What are you gonna well, I'd
- 26:28Speaker 1: have to be the lake that you swim, form of
- 26:31Speaker 1: a lake, and then yeah, and then i'd be like
- 26:32Speaker 1: shape of a big ass whale. How would just hurt anybody?
- 26:36Speaker 1: And then we just and then we just sit And
- 26:38Speaker 1: that's such a bullshit. Power They're like, hello, we need
- 26:41Speaker 1: so and so is invading the bank. We need you guys,
- 26:43Speaker 1: stat Okay, form of a lake, shape of a killer whale.
- 26:47Speaker 1: What the fuck are you gonna do? Dude? Now you're
- 26:51Speaker 1: making my argument. Now you're making my argument. No, I'm
- 26:54Speaker 1: just listening. I don't know much about this old superhero world.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I'm just I happened in this episode to stumble across
- 26:59Speaker 1: too superheroes that haven't yet been turned into a movie,
- 27:02Speaker 1: and I thought it might be our ticket in. That
- 27:05Speaker 1: would be the word I could see the audience. Now
- 27:07Speaker 1: they're making a Wonder Twins movie. Yeah, listen. The only
- 27:11Speaker 1: thing that people go to the movie theaters when not
- 27:13Speaker 1: in COVID times to see anymore, Let's be honest, is
- 27:17Speaker 1: Marvel Okay, Well Star Wars. You know, the big epic,
- 27:21Speaker 1: sweeping movies that you love to go. I have a
- 27:23Speaker 1: feeling this freaking and we're getting back on it the
- 27:26Speaker 1: Snyder cut. It's gonna do. So Apparently, what I've learned
- 27:30Speaker 1: is that you just just to give a little bit
- 27:34Speaker 1: of intro for people that give zero fuck. There was
- 27:38Speaker 1: like there was a movie came out. There was a
- 27:40Speaker 1: movie starring Ben Actually, I thought it was the best
- 27:43Speaker 1: one out of the out of all of the the
- 27:45Speaker 1: uh look at you Well's face, out of all of
- 27:48Speaker 1: the out of all of the hold On, out of
- 27:51Speaker 1: all of the DC movies that came out other than
- 27:53Speaker 1: Wonder Woman, the Justice League movie is the better one. So,
- 27:57Speaker 1: and I don't mean, I don't mean when I was
- 27:59Speaker 1: a kid, Richard Donner's Superman and I don't mean Batman begins,
- 28:04Speaker 1: and I don't mean that stuff I'm talking about with
- 28:06Speaker 1: Ben Affleck. I think Justice League is one of the
- 28:08Speaker 1: better ones. Anyway. So they made a Justice League movie
- 28:12Speaker 1: and halfway through it, Snyder has to drop out and
- 28:16Speaker 1: family family problem, right, I don't know, I don't know.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I don't know. Joss Whedon took okay, and the fans
- 28:24Speaker 1: don't like Joss Whedon. Everybody loved Joss Wheden did the
- 28:27Speaker 1: first Avengers. It's okay, So then why did they hate
- 28:30Speaker 1: Joss Whedon's version. Nobody hated Joss Sweden's version. It was
- 28:34Speaker 1: just it came out and Josh Sweden made some corrections
- 28:39Speaker 1: and then the movie came out right right. Snyder apparently
- 28:42Speaker 1: shot four hours of a movie and had to back
- 28:49Speaker 1: out of it, and when he backed out, they changed
- 28:51Speaker 1: the story around and made what we saw in the theaters.
- 28:56Speaker 1: So apparently there's like four hours of footage that nobody's
- 28:59Speaker 1: ever seen. Oh, so he's gonna cut, He's gonna do
- 29:01Speaker 1: you can go in there and cut in the story
- 29:03Speaker 1: that he wanted to tell with the special effects that
- 29:06Speaker 1: he wanted to use, and they're doing that. Apparently they are.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And are you guys all excited about this? Joel? Is
- 29:12Speaker 1: this springing joy to your life? Is not even there?
- 29:17Speaker 1: I'm here, sorry, guys, My internet is coming in and out.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, funny if Joel like went and did other
- 29:22Speaker 1: things but she put like a cardboard cut out, Yeah,
- 29:29Speaker 1: it looks like that's what you did, Juelle. It looks
- 29:31Speaker 1: like you're like, will never know. I'm gonna go do
- 29:36Speaker 1: oh wish um. I think they said they were gonna
- 29:39Speaker 1: do something like twenty million dollars to have to redo
- 29:44Speaker 1: like editing, special effects. Like how many movies could you
- 29:48Speaker 1: make that I haven't already seen. I know people are
- 29:51Speaker 1: hype because they love Snyder, and that's you know, I'm
- 29:55Speaker 1: a huge Sucker Punch stand. I will defend that movie.
- 29:58Speaker 1: It's my hill that I'll die on. Um, you'll die.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I love Sucker Punch. Okay, it gives you all the
- 30:08Speaker 1: archetypes are girls, yo, dude. It's a lot of hot
- 30:10Speaker 1: girls kicking ass. Dude. What more do you need from
- 30:14Speaker 1: a movie? These hot girls? Who are they? Um? Oh
- 30:18Speaker 1: browning from uh sorry bunch is great decided fels. I
- 30:26Speaker 1: can't I get like the Zack Snyder love. I just
- 30:29Speaker 1: don't think, you know, for as many young people or
- 30:32Speaker 1: or not even necessarily young, but like unknown people trying
- 30:34Speaker 1: to make these really great movies. As a script reader
- 30:37Speaker 1: for a while, so I've really like a ton of
- 30:38Speaker 1: like amazing script on Like I really want to see
- 30:40Speaker 1: this movie, and they can't get in inch wise, and
- 30:43Speaker 1: it's like we can make like six movies off of
- 30:45Speaker 1: the budget we're doing to remake a movie we've already seen. Um,
- 30:49Speaker 1: I just feel like the superhero appetite is insatiable on
- 30:54Speaker 1: planet Earth. People can't get enough. We'll think about it.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Look a look at what we look at. We grew
- 31:00Speaker 1: up reading comic books, and imagine if what we see
- 31:03Speaker 1: in this comic book, if I could see this on film,
- 31:05Speaker 1: if I could see this in real life, I would
- 31:08Speaker 1: this would be amazing. I remember when I was a
- 31:09Speaker 1: kid looking at comics and being like, they're better than
- 31:12Speaker 1: the movies because the visual just the picture that they're
- 31:15Speaker 1: showing me alone is way better than the special effects.
- 31:19Speaker 1: The special effects have surpassed what we visualize in comics now,
- 31:24Speaker 1: and so all of my fantasies as a youth are
- 31:29Speaker 1: now being thrown on screen. Fuck. Yeah, superheroes are going
- 31:32Speaker 1: to be around for a while. Man, It's what we've
- 31:34Speaker 1: been waiting for. We've been waiting for this forever. And
- 31:38Speaker 1: the closest thing to it was Star Wars. You know
- 31:41Speaker 1: what I mean. The special effects has made it so that, Yo,
- 31:44Speaker 1: we're going too far for Star Wars now, you know
- 31:47Speaker 1: what I mean. We got to scale back now for
- 31:49Speaker 1: people to enjoy Star Wars. People on their Bingo cards,
- 31:53Speaker 1: make sure you cover Donald talks about Star Wars. I'll
- 31:56Speaker 1: be covering Donald's talks. It's like an I'm saying a
- 31:58Speaker 1: Bingo card B one. It's like Donald talks about Star Wars,
- 32:03Speaker 1: Donald talks. All right, let's get back into that episode. Then. Wait,
- 32:05Speaker 1: I want to give a recommendation for those of you
- 32:07Speaker 1: listening who go, oh fuck, I still don't care about superheroes.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I saw a movie called Moon, just Moon, Sam Rockwell,
- 32:17Speaker 1: really good film. Okay, so you write that down if
- 32:20Speaker 1: you don't want to watch a four hour DC movie. Moon.
- 32:24Speaker 1: And the other show I'm really liking, although I don't
- 32:26Speaker 1: know if I'm in the target audience, is Anna Kendricks
- 32:29Speaker 1: show on HBO Max called Love Life. It's a very
- 32:34Speaker 1: interesting premise. It just takes I imagine she just did
- 32:36Speaker 1: one season, but it takes a character and it talks
- 32:39Speaker 1: about like the ten significant relationships she had in her life.
- 32:44Speaker 1: And each episode is a different one of those. So
- 32:47Speaker 1: one might be a one night stand or one might
- 32:49Speaker 1: be a true love. But they're like, really, really well done.
- 32:53Speaker 1: So those are my two recommendations of the week love
- 32:56Speaker 1: Life on HBO Max and Moon with Sam Rockwell, should
- 33:02Speaker 1: we get back to the episode? Yeah, because I almost
- 33:05Speaker 1: fell asleep. Oh my god, Jesus, I do my impression
- 33:09Speaker 1: of you. And then Zack Snyder he like, out of breath.
- 33:14Speaker 1: It's not out of breath. I got a problem, motherfucker.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I've got a spit problem. Okay. Oh, I just thought
- 33:20Speaker 1: it's like you start salivating when you think about LATEX. No.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I produced a lot of spit in my mouth when
- 33:26Speaker 1: I talk. I can't. Maybe there's a pill for that.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I don't want it. Okay. It was funny when the
- 33:31Speaker 1: guy says, I we're wondering about circumcision, and JD goes, well,
- 33:33Speaker 1: you were little old let's get into let's talk about
- 33:38Speaker 1: that cut or on cut. Well, I'm a member of
- 33:41Speaker 1: the tribe, so I am cut um. It was a
- 33:44Speaker 1: part of our writed passage. I realized these days there's
- 33:47Speaker 1: a lot of people that are against it, on on
- 33:50Speaker 1: on all and for it's a big debate. Carl is
- 33:53Speaker 1: not for it. Well this was how many? This was
- 33:55Speaker 1: eighteen years ago? People are nineteen years ago, people are
- 33:58Speaker 1: are are debating it. I imagine it's less and less
- 34:01Speaker 1: popular now. I think the penis looks nice with the
- 34:06Speaker 1: an eater cut off. But I mean, I I guess
- 34:08Speaker 1: that's no reason to do it. What do you think?
- 34:11Speaker 1: You're not cut? I am not cut, and your and
- 34:14Speaker 1: your sons aren't cut. My boy is cut, all my
- 34:18Speaker 1: all my kids are cut. Except now is that just
- 34:20Speaker 1: obviously that was an aesthetic choice. It wasn't my choice.
- 34:25Speaker 1: If it were up to me, I would not cut.
- 34:29Speaker 1: We know, we know Daniels cut because he's remember the tribe, mtright. Hell,
- 34:37Speaker 1: do you have to be a member of the tribe? No?
- 34:40Speaker 1: But I mean, like it's have you ever met someone
- 34:43Speaker 1: who was a member of the tribe and was not cut? No?
- 34:47Speaker 1: If you exist out there, we would love to hear
- 34:49Speaker 1: from you and give you. We'll give you a palette
- 34:51Speaker 1: of if you can prove to us that Okay, well
- 35:01Speaker 1: you are a Jewish man and aren't I would like
- 35:04Speaker 1: to not turn my key for this contest. What turn
- 35:08Speaker 1: your key, sir, No, I will not turn my key
- 35:10Speaker 1: for this contest. Turn your key. So we're in search
- 35:13Speaker 1: here in fake doctor's real friends, We're in search of
- 35:15Speaker 1: a Jewish uncut man. Please send pictures of your aunt eater.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I guess the big debate, you know, religious customs aside
- 35:35Speaker 1: is that it's just an aesthetic choice. Now. Back in
- 35:39Speaker 1: the day it was sort of a health cleanliness thing,
- 35:42Speaker 1: and then it became a tradition for the Jewish people.
- 35:45Speaker 1: But people are I guess more and more saying why
- 35:47Speaker 1: are you doing that to a newborn baby? Right, Well,
- 35:51Speaker 1: there are accidents that can happen. I'm sure there are
- 35:53Speaker 1: people that have lost you know, my very first show
- 35:57Speaker 1: I was ever in was a pilot for CBS with
- 36:00Speaker 1: Gwyneth Paltrow. Was her first job in my first job,
- 36:03Speaker 1: and their subplot of it was a horny high school
- 36:07Speaker 1: quarterback had to have his botched circumcision fixed and he
- 36:12Speaker 1: couldn't get an erection for seven days. That was his
- 36:16Speaker 1: storyline in the pilot. Holy and his girlfriend was Gwyneth
- 36:20Speaker 1: Paltrow and they and because she was the captain of
- 36:23Speaker 1: the cheerleader team and he was the captain of football team,
- 36:25Speaker 1: and you played the captain of the football team. No,
- 36:28Speaker 1: I wish do you think I was the captain of the
- 36:29Speaker 1: the team. I was just wondering. I was the I
- 36:32Speaker 1: was the nerdy freshman, the brother I was. I was, No,
- 36:39Speaker 1: I was brother to the like the bad kid who
- 36:42Speaker 1: was threatening to kill himself. Got it and got it.
- 36:47Speaker 1: And so in the show the world of the high
- 36:50Speaker 1: School Big pep Rally and the mascot's gonna come out
- 36:53Speaker 1: of two person mascot and the captain and of the
- 36:57Speaker 1: cheerleaders and the captain football they're gonna jump out of
- 36:59Speaker 1: the mascot together. It was us in the costume, but
- 37:03Speaker 1: Gwyneth's in the front and he's in the back, and
- 37:06Speaker 1: he's got to bury his face into Gwyneth's butt, and
- 37:11Speaker 1: he can't keep his ship together because his stitches are
- 37:15Speaker 1: gonna rip. This. This show didn't go This show it
- 37:21Speaker 1: was really good. Though it was really good, it was
- 37:25Speaker 1: too controversial even for its day. This was I was
- 37:29Speaker 1: fourteen years old. This was so long ago, and it
- 37:31Speaker 1: was so controversial. It was like gonna be really sexy.
- 37:35Speaker 1: It was the same year nine O two and O
- 37:36Speaker 1: came out, by the way, and where nine O two
- 37:38Speaker 1: and no is being like the glossy Beverly Hills rich
- 37:41Speaker 1: kid show, we were trying to be like the edgy
- 37:44Speaker 1: Jersey you know, high school show, and they were way
- 37:48Speaker 1: too edgy for CBS even at the time. It was great.
- 37:50Speaker 1: It's good though. I noticed my people on the Fritz
- 37:53Speaker 1: made a little call back. They had a little callback
- 37:56Speaker 1: from episode before. Yeah, my people was on the Fritz
- 37:58Speaker 1: and that comes up. Uh, and then your prat fall
- 38:01Speaker 1: over the couch. That was great, wasn't it. Man, does
- 38:05Speaker 1: the man does a nice fall? You got you do
- 38:07Speaker 1: a great pratfall man. We got to talk about this
- 38:09Speaker 1: every time you do it, because thank you. Ever since
- 38:12Speaker 1: the bricks fell on your head and you flinched, you
- 38:14Speaker 1: have gone on to become a great prat faller. Thank you.
- 38:18Speaker 1: That's a big comment to me, and I want anyone
- 38:20Speaker 1: listening who enjoys my pratfalls to know that every time
- 38:22Speaker 1: my back aches at forty five, I think of you
- 38:25Speaker 1: all and hopefully I brought you some humor over the years.
- 38:27Speaker 1: How many injuries from Pratt falls just back issues because
- 38:31Speaker 1: of hitting walls and falling for for nine years. But um,
- 38:35Speaker 1: but you know, I do it for the people, Donald,
- 38:38Speaker 1: I'll do anything to make the world laugh. Also, Sarah
- 38:42Speaker 1: Chalk very sexy, very sexy, and very seductive, very very Yeah.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I mean I did not know. Listen man, uh, she says,
- 38:54Speaker 1: bite me. Yeah, I did not know. And maybe because
- 38:58Speaker 1: I was just focused on myself. But Sarah is, and
- 39:01Speaker 1: we talk about this all the time, but Sarah's really good.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Elliott Reid is one of my favorite characters in our
- 39:09Speaker 1: show now, like I look forward to her storylines. Sarah
- 39:13Speaker 1: played them so well. She's so good on this show. Yeah,
- 39:17Speaker 1: she really did. She really did, and she's so funny.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I agree with you, Donald, I'm looking back again. There's
- 39:23Speaker 1: a lot of things when you look back at the
- 39:24Speaker 1: show and go, I was so focused on me. I
- 39:25Speaker 1: was so I you know, I had blinders on. I
- 39:28Speaker 1: wasn't always looking at everyone's character arcs. Now, this many
- 39:30Speaker 1: years later, you go back and you watch it and
- 39:32Speaker 1: you go at the same reaction. I'm like, wow, Elliot's
- 39:35Speaker 1: really funny character, really interesting someone you different layers. We learned.
- 39:37Speaker 1: She's a Republican. Republican's closet Republican. Well, I think Republicans.
- 39:43Speaker 1: A lot of Republicans are still closet Republicans, Like a
- 39:45Speaker 1: lot of your friends are Republicans and you don't know that,
- 39:48Speaker 1: I'm sure, but they say that, They say, that's why
- 39:50Speaker 1: all the polls were off, because people don't want to
- 39:52Speaker 1: admit that they are voted for Trump. But that's real talkment.
- 39:55Speaker 1: That's why the polls are inaccurate. Face. That's one thing
- 39:58Speaker 1: Facebook did, and Instant Graham and Twitter did. They exposed
- 40:02Speaker 1: all of these people who had been keeping their uh,
- 40:04Speaker 1: their their their republicanness, their allegiance secret. Well, it's funny.
- 40:11Speaker 1: It's funny. Even nineteen years ago. She's like, don't tell
- 40:14Speaker 1: anyone I'm a Republican. I say, Republicans, stand up, be proud,
- 40:20Speaker 1: be loud, no, be do your thing. Maybe maybe find maybe,
- 40:24Speaker 1: find a sane human being to be your candidate, saying,
- 40:29Speaker 1: a sane person and then and then, and then, and
- 40:32Speaker 1: then be loud and proud, but just at least have
- 40:34Speaker 1: the guy be a person who has a functioning brain.
- 40:36Speaker 1: By the way, did you hear what he said today?
- 40:38Speaker 1: He mispronounced Yosemite he was giving a speech, and for
- 40:42Speaker 1: those who don't know, semite is a is a term
- 40:44Speaker 1: for Jewish people, uh Semitic. Thus the anti Semitic would
- 40:49Speaker 1: be anti jew so semite. And he pronounced yosemite. He
- 40:54Speaker 1: was reading a speech off a prompter that I'm sure
- 40:56Speaker 1: he had never looked at as yo semite, and trending
- 41:00Speaker 1: on Twitter was yo semite. And I thought it was
- 41:04Speaker 1: really funny because it's like, yo yo yo, my Semites
- 41:07Speaker 1: come here now, So that means he's saying, yo yo
- 41:10Speaker 1: yo my Jewish people, what's up? No Twitter turns it
- 41:14Speaker 1: into that. It was kind of funny. But yeah, he
- 41:15Speaker 1: said yo semite instead of yo semite. But yo semit
- 41:19Speaker 1: is funny, you know. Yeah, I'm just stand yo semit.
- 41:24Speaker 1: That's I think that's how all Jewish people should freaking
- 41:27Speaker 1: greet each other from from here on out, Yo semite,
- 41:31Speaker 1: where all my Semites at, my Semites at yo can
- 41:35Speaker 1: get Can I get in trouble for saying semit? No,
- 41:38Speaker 1: it's not. It's not a it's not a derogatory term, okay,
- 41:42Speaker 1: but it's just funny that I would like I would
- 41:44Speaker 1: I I mean, if you're a Republican Republican. Everyone do
- 41:47Speaker 1: their own thing. I personally think that the president should
- 41:50Speaker 1: be able to read well, yeah, I I I want
- 41:53Speaker 1: to take Yeah. I don't think whatever you whatever you believe,
- 41:57Speaker 1: whatever you follow whatever, that's it's all with me as
- 42:00Speaker 1: long as you don't disrespect nobody. It just gets to
- 42:02Speaker 1: the point where you know, I just want somebody in
- 42:05Speaker 1: there that's for the people, all the people. And I
- 42:08Speaker 1: know that's hard to do. And I think we're at
- 42:10Speaker 1: a point right now where we have somebody in there
- 42:12Speaker 1: that's for a certain amount of people, and that's it.
- 42:14Speaker 1: You don't be a good ring a notification yo, semit
- 42:19Speaker 1: no no, hey. But speaking of that huge, huge amount
- 42:26Speaker 1: of love for the new ring tone that I want
- 42:29Speaker 1: to remind you is available to remind you and your
- 42:31Speaker 1: friends about how much you love the show, the hugely
- 42:35Speaker 1: popular What you're trying to get into a da what
- 42:38Speaker 1: you're trying to do. I don't know if you saw
- 42:40Speaker 1: the remixes Donald people are remixing it. By the way,
- 42:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you, man, I was hoping
- 42:45Speaker 1: for like a remix from like somebody who was going
- 42:49Speaker 1: to remix it. Dope. Well, I spoke to Andrew Watt.
- 42:53Speaker 1: You know who Andrew Watt is, right, No, Andrew Watt
- 42:56Speaker 1: is a very fancy producer. He produces, I mean everything
- 43:01Speaker 1: from Azzie to Bieber to post Malone. So he wrote
- 43:05Speaker 1: Havanna na right, he's a huge I do like I
- 43:11Speaker 1: do like that. Uh post Malone? All right, Well, he's
- 43:14Speaker 1: a huge. He's like, like the biggest, one of the
- 43:16Speaker 1: biggest producers in music right now. And I'm friends with him,
- 43:20Speaker 1: and I said, I played it for him, and he
- 43:22Speaker 1: really I said, look, I know you write a lot
- 43:24Speaker 1: of fire hooks, but listen to this a day and
- 43:26Speaker 1: shoot song bullshit, I swear to God. And what he said,
- 43:30Speaker 1: that's fucking fire and and Bill and Bill was singing
- 43:34Speaker 1: it because Bill was on the same call and Bill
- 43:37Speaker 1: was singing it, and then Bill was like and and
- 43:39Speaker 1: and Andrew's like, yeah, it's hooky. I get it. I
- 43:41Speaker 1: get it. So my point is is that I said
- 43:44Speaker 1: to Andrew, that's what I want you to do next
- 43:47Speaker 1: time you have one of these fancy people in your studio.
- 43:49Speaker 1: He's he's producing Miley, Miley's new album. He's producing, Um
- 43:54Speaker 1: that guy, what's his Yeah? He uh, he's writing with
- 43:59Speaker 1: the Stone. I don't know how the guy has the
- 44:00Speaker 1: bandwidth he's doing, like all these big acts. Anyway, I said,
- 44:03Speaker 1: the next fancy person that's in your studio, would you
- 44:06Speaker 1: ask them to lay down a version of what you're
- 44:09Speaker 1: trying to get into a day of shoot? And he
- 44:12Speaker 1: said that he would. So I'm trying to get either
- 44:14Speaker 1: Ozzy or Miley or Beebes. I don't like any of those.
- 44:21Speaker 1: I don't like any of those singing that song. Okay, well,
- 44:24Speaker 1: who do you want? Sorry, there's a chopper in coming.
- 44:29Speaker 1: If it were up to me to have anyone sing
- 44:32Speaker 1: that song, I would want Lionel Richie to sing it. Well,
- 44:36Speaker 1: I don't think he does. Lionel Richie Donald. Well, if
- 44:39Speaker 1: he could get Bieber and all these other motherfuckers on
- 44:41Speaker 1: the phone, he can get Lionel Richie on the phone. Okay,
- 44:43Speaker 1: I'm telling you he has all these famous people. And
- 44:45Speaker 1: you want someone outside of the bucks. You want Hello,
- 44:48Speaker 1: But let me go looking fall. It's not Aaron Neville.
- 44:51Speaker 1: It's Line Richie. That's if Aaron Neville sang hello, well,
- 44:55Speaker 1: that's well. The only imperson nation you can do is
- 44:58Speaker 1: Aaron Neville. So I get it. He singing Hello, No,
- 45:00Speaker 1: I can't do other I can do Marge Simpson, Oh Donald,
- 45:06Speaker 1: I got a warm up. Hold on ho ho me Homer, Homer. Anyway,
- 45:14Speaker 1: I would like Lionel Richie to sing what you're trying
- 45:16Speaker 1: to get into a dal shoon, What you're trying to
- 45:21Speaker 1: do either him or U. Nipsey Russell? Why Nipsey Russell?
- 45:26Speaker 1: These are weird because don think that Andrew Watt is
- 45:29Speaker 1: producing the new Nipsey Russell album. This is not the
- 45:32Speaker 1: access I have. I love that I bragged I know
- 45:38Speaker 1: a very famous music producer, and you're so non impressed.
- 45:41Speaker 1: You want someone to find Nipsey Russell and have him.
- 45:44Speaker 1: You want someone soulful to sing the song. But people
- 45:46Speaker 1: you s they aren't soulful. Man, Beebes ain't soulful. beeB
- 45:50Speaker 1: sings freaking pop music, freaking who other people you said? Okay,
- 45:54Speaker 1: post if you could get Bruno Marson do it, I'm
- 45:56Speaker 1: cool with that. Bruno Mars, post Malone, post Malone ain't soulful.
- 46:00Speaker 1: These things pop songs, okay. Um du Alipa, I like
- 46:04Speaker 1: du Alipa. I like that du Elipa. She got two
- 46:07Speaker 1: songs that contradict each other. One is talking about don't
- 46:11Speaker 1: go out, and the other one is I should have
- 46:14Speaker 1: stayed in. All right, well then I'll cancel the Andrew
- 46:20Speaker 1: Watt No, no, no no. I like du Alipa. I
- 46:22Speaker 1: like du Alipa. All right, don't go out. I'm gonna
- 46:26Speaker 1: get whoever I can get. Okay, if it ends up
- 46:28Speaker 1: being AUSI, I don't want you to be disappointed. We
- 46:29Speaker 1: got Aussi to sing the song. I mean, I like Auzi.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I do like Aussie. That's that's I do like Auzi. Okay.
- 46:35Speaker 1: How about when Kelsa calls someone asked face, who was it? Me?
- 46:39Speaker 1: I love? I gotta tell you. I know he said
- 46:41Speaker 1: this before, but there's nothing ask face is always funny.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Asked before anything, it's always funny. Yeah, but ass face
- 46:47Speaker 1: is a funny thing to call someone. I laughed, ass heads,
- 46:50Speaker 1: ass head is funny to you, fucking ass head, ass hat,
- 46:54Speaker 1: ass hat. It's funny. So backwards when you ask backwards,
- 46:58Speaker 1: I go to Kelso couldn't think of a third one, sir,
- 47:01Speaker 1: He goes, that was the third one? Ass faces funny? Yeah,
- 47:07Speaker 1: um trumpet noise every time we say sex buddies do right, Yeah,
- 47:13Speaker 1: Because because Jade can't believe he hears trumpets from the heavens.
- 47:17Speaker 1: He can't believe they and theory. Yeah, sex buddies is
- 47:22Speaker 1: a great idea. Sustainable, it's not, it's untenable. You just
- 47:26Speaker 1: can't do it for a long time because someone's gonna
- 47:29Speaker 1: catch feelings. Absolutely, man, especially if you're doing it all
- 47:32Speaker 1: the time. Yes, and especially if you you can't have
- 47:35Speaker 1: sex regularly and not and someone is gonna catch feelings
- 47:43Speaker 1: unless it's your profession. Well, maybe prostitutes catch feelings sometimes too,
- 47:48Speaker 1: with a particular John remember Jane or Jane remembering Pretty Woman. Wow,
- 47:58Speaker 1: he caught feelings too. They both caught feelings, Donald, They
- 48:02Speaker 1: both caught feelings. Not all prostitutes. Like I said, it's
- 48:06Speaker 1: not it's impossible. It's impossible. I've never seen on prostitutes.
- 48:10Speaker 1: He was even paying her, But he was even paying her.
- 48:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna pay you to not catch feelings. Here's the money,
- 48:17Speaker 1: here's the I'm gonna give you all this dough. I
- 48:19Speaker 1: don't want you to catch feelings. Yeah, but she was
- 48:21Speaker 1: so charming and beautiful and looked like Julia Roberts right.
- 48:25Speaker 1: The real the real version of that of that movie
- 48:29Speaker 1: is completely different. Finding a prostitute on Hollywood Boulevard. That
- 48:32Speaker 1: looks that looks like to come on, buddy, buddy, Okay,
- 48:37Speaker 1: you didn't tell anyone. Oh that's the Republican thing. Um,
- 48:40Speaker 1: what about Sarah's kissing my nipples? I thought that was um,
- 48:44Speaker 1: I've never seen that on TV. But you just wanted
- 48:48Speaker 1: to bring up the fact that Sarah kissed your nipples. Dude, Well,
- 48:51Speaker 1: I were watching this show that's twenty years old, and
- 48:54Speaker 1: I and I just thought, you know, there, you've never
- 48:56Speaker 1: seen nipple kissing before. Um, I don't know on a
- 49:00Speaker 1: primetime network show if I've seen a woman kissing. Maybe.
- 49:04Speaker 1: I don't watch shows like Scandal that are supposed to
- 49:07Speaker 1: be like heated. I don't know. Women kids, Well, do
- 49:10Speaker 1: you watch Scandal or Daniel? Do you watch Scandal? Yeah?
- 49:13Speaker 1: And Grey's Anatomy? Do they do they lick nipples? There?
- 49:17Speaker 1: Women kissing male nipples on those shows? Because I found
- 49:20Speaker 1: it very provocative on this one. And Sarah is just breastfeeding,
- 49:27Speaker 1: she's latching, she's latched too far. Who No, I don't
- 49:38Speaker 1: know because I don't watch like steamy. Um you know, uh,
- 49:42Speaker 1: you know soft porn that women watch like Scandal and
- 49:44Speaker 1: Tony Goldwin's probably getting his abs licked. I don't know
- 49:47Speaker 1: what's happening. I can't recall a specific uh nipple mouth
- 49:52Speaker 1: insertion scene, but definitely there's a lot of chest kissing.
- 49:56Speaker 1: So probably do you say, is the hottest steamiest show
- 49:59Speaker 1: on at work these days? Like? It has to be
- 50:02Speaker 1: not streaming. It has to be a Shonda Rhime show.
- 50:05Speaker 1: It has to because all the beautiful people are on
- 50:09Speaker 1: no shows, that's true, And Shonda likes a steamy, steamy thing,
- 50:13Speaker 1: right thing, dreamy Max steamy, all of that stuff. Yeah.
- 50:18Speaker 1: I remember we were kids and then stumbled across like
- 50:20Speaker 1: a soap opera and there'd be like a staytime soap
- 50:24Speaker 1: opera sex scene and it was so weird and as
- 50:27Speaker 1: kind of like now these are night soaps basically, right,
- 50:31Speaker 1: and this is how people get all titilated? Yeah, is
- 50:35Speaker 1: up there? I was personally titilated by watching Sarah Latch
- 50:38Speaker 1: To be honest, I thought it was delightful. Um. I
- 50:42Speaker 1: laughed very hard at my church groups doing a rendition
- 50:46Speaker 1: of Rent That cracked me up for some How do
- 50:49Speaker 1: you get around you? How does your church group get around?
- 50:52Speaker 1: So much stuff from that play? Yeah? Yeah? And why
- 50:56Speaker 1: and why have all shows did. Did Nurse Roberts Church
- 50:58Speaker 1: Group choose rent great music soulful music? No, but they
- 51:03Speaker 1: could have chose something a little more churchy like Jesus
- 51:05Speaker 1: Christ Superstar Joe's probably have done it. They've probably been
- 51:08Speaker 1: doing it for the past ten years. They were like,
- 51:09Speaker 1: we need to switch it up. Yeah, and which the
- 51:12Speaker 1: new what's the new hot show? Right now? Let's do
- 51:15Speaker 1: Rentum At fifteen minutes. In four seconds, there's a there's
- 51:22Speaker 1: a janitor who's not the janitor mopping the carpet. And
- 51:26Speaker 1: I thought that was funny because, you know, Neil had
- 51:29Speaker 1: mentioned that sometimes he would have to be in the
- 51:31Speaker 1: background and they would say just mop and he'd be like,
- 51:32Speaker 1: it's carpeting. And but Neil had the power as one
- 51:36Speaker 1: of the stars of the show to push back and say, Hey,
- 51:38Speaker 1: my character wouldn't mop the carpet. I imagine someone's holding
- 51:41Speaker 1: this background performer and just go back there and mop.
- 51:44Speaker 1: And the guy was like, okay, And if you look,
- 51:46Speaker 1: he's just he's mopping the carpet. Here's the question when
- 51:49Speaker 1: we walk around the carpet area or is there is
- 51:52Speaker 1: there a slashing noise? No, I'm sure there's no water
- 51:55Speaker 1: on his mop. I'm sure it's just a dry mop
- 51:58Speaker 1: rubbing on carpet. No, but I mean, oh, that would
- 52:01Speaker 1: be a funny joke that if when our characters walked
- 52:04Speaker 1: through that area this, Yeah, it would be funny. But
- 52:07Speaker 1: I also want to be like, sir, why are you?
- 52:09Speaker 1: Why are you mopping the carpet? Carlin thrown out a window, Carlin.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Judy didn't get a lot of stunts, and Judy got
- 52:16Speaker 1: a big fantasy here. Yeah, they didn't throw out the
- 52:19Speaker 1: window though her body didn't make it. No, that was
- 52:22Speaker 1: it was funny. That's definitely not Judy. No, it's not
- 52:26Speaker 1: some stuntwoman took a fucking big hit on that window.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Yeah they did. Yeah, she did, and then had to
- 52:31Speaker 1: make sure that that plexiglass was really reinforced because she
- 52:35Speaker 1: bounced back very hard. I also laughed at hey, hey, elliot,
- 52:40Speaker 1: what are you doing? Just sitting in the dark crying,
- 52:42Speaker 1: so you know, the usual lash my ass off at that. Yeah,
- 52:45Speaker 1: very funny. Man. By the way, I don't know what
- 52:47Speaker 1: colors I'm wearing, like a blood orange shirt. Did you
- 52:50Speaker 1: see the shirt I'm wearing. It's the most read right
- 52:53Speaker 1: like out of nowhere. Yeah, I don't know what was happening.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Why I or j D or anyone would choose that
- 52:59Speaker 1: shirt so as a means of seduction, Well, I you know,
- 53:03Speaker 1: red always goes great with seduction. Red men, Red is
- 53:07Speaker 1: like the typically the female thing. Like I imagine that
- 53:10Speaker 1: red is that I thought red was the seduction cover,
- 53:13Speaker 1: a color cover color. Have you ever tried to seduce
- 53:16Speaker 1: Casey by wearing a red outfit? No? I have not.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I have sent her candy in a red box, right,
- 53:25Speaker 1: But my guess is fours that were red? My My,
- 53:28Speaker 1: My guess is you don't own any red clothing? No,
- 53:32Speaker 1: I don't. Well, Jad's wearing a fucking like fire engine
- 53:36Speaker 1: red button down shirt, which is as I look around
- 53:38Speaker 1: in my closet. Yeah, you can look around, tell you
- 53:40Speaker 1: I do not wear I do not own a red
- 53:43Speaker 1: anything a red sweatshirt, but it's like a faded red,
- 53:46Speaker 1: so it's more of a denimish red. I don't know
- 53:48Speaker 1: if that exists. But this episode, Donald, I was not
- 53:51Speaker 1: able to watch with the original song at the end,
- 53:53Speaker 1: which is called tell her This, And the episode is
- 53:56Speaker 1: severely ruined by not having dell and tell her this.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I had some some knockoff. We're not allowed to play
- 54:04Speaker 1: that song on iTunes? Was it the slow jam or
- 54:07Speaker 1: was it it was I don't know. No offense to
- 54:09Speaker 1: the artist, it just was wrong for the moment it
- 54:11Speaker 1: was at the song. Really, I watched it on Hulu.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I want to remember that song tell her not to go?
- 54:18Speaker 1: Do you remember that song? No? Well, I'm not allowed
- 54:20Speaker 1: to fucking play it for you guys. And I have
- 54:22Speaker 1: a very special song to end the show tonight that
- 54:24Speaker 1: that that sort of is going to work because it
- 54:26Speaker 1: was written for me. So I think I'm allowed to
- 54:28Speaker 1: play that. I love that. We have a caller. We
- 54:31Speaker 1: should take a break. Yeah, go to break and let
- 54:34Speaker 1: our call her in. All right, we'll be right back. Oh,
- 54:43Speaker 1: you know what we should talk about before the what before?
- 54:45Speaker 1: While we're waiting? We should talk about in the beginning?
- 54:49Speaker 1: How you know when they ask about the circumcision, the
- 54:53Speaker 1: janitor comes up to j D and is like, Hey,
- 54:56Speaker 1: what is what's going on in there? And j D's like,
- 54:58Speaker 1: I really can't talk about it, so uh patient doctor confidentiality. Yeah,
- 55:03Speaker 1: He's like, are you serious right now? He's like yeah,
- 55:05Speaker 1: He's like you could tell me. He's like, no, I can't.
- 55:08Speaker 1: He's like, but you could It's like, no, I can't
- 55:11Speaker 1: he said, could, but won't. Whatever the joke, yeah, just
- 55:16Speaker 1: to the end, just for JD to try and get
- 55:19Speaker 1: into his fucking locker. But there's a now a locker rod.
- 55:22Speaker 1: And then the janitor comes back and said, I said
- 55:24Speaker 1: I sent you an email with the uh with the combination.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I didn't get it. He's like, well, can you give
- 55:30Speaker 1: it to me? He goes, sorry, janitor locker confidentality. Very fun.
- 55:38Speaker 1: That should have me rolling. Yeah, that should had men.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Neil can make you laugh with with basically three sentences, yeah, easily. Um.
- 55:49Speaker 1: I felt bad for j D at the end. He
- 55:51Speaker 1: really looked sad. He really looked like he's the one
- 55:54Speaker 1: who had caught feelings. Well, he should have listened. He
- 55:56Speaker 1: should have listened to his friends advice man, he should
- 55:58Speaker 1: have listened. He really was starting to all for her,
- 56:00Speaker 1: well he thought, and he also thought it was going
- 56:02Speaker 1: to go the other way. That's the other thing. He
- 56:04Speaker 1: thought it was going to go to the other way.
- 56:05Speaker 1: He thought he was going to be able to just
- 56:07Speaker 1: be be okay with it. Hey, Amanda, ladies and gentlemen,
- 56:11Speaker 1: give it up for Amanda Banda. Amanda, there's your official
- 56:16Speaker 1: Donald face, Amanda Bunda. Yes, how are you, Amanda? Welcome
- 56:24Speaker 1: to fake Doctors. Where are you? Are you in your
- 56:26Speaker 1: closet too? I am my closet because I have two
- 56:30Speaker 1: really big dogs and a lot of windows, So I'm
- 56:34Speaker 1: in my closet trying to peep down the noise a
- 56:37Speaker 1: little bit. And Um, I just got off a shift
- 56:40Speaker 1: from the volunteer fire department and we had the hurricane
- 56:43Speaker 1: came come through and I don't have any WiFi, so
- 56:46Speaker 1: I'm on my cell phone. Holy God, Now, where where
- 56:49Speaker 1: are you in Delaware? Um? Tell us about being a
- 56:53Speaker 1: volunteer fire person. How does that? How did you get
- 56:56Speaker 1: into that? So? I'm a fourth generation firefi here in Delaware,
- 57:02Speaker 1: and Delaware has a ton of volunteer firefighters. It's one
- 57:06Speaker 1: of our proudest kind of things that we do. So
- 57:09Speaker 1: it's not unusual for families to do it. And I've
- 57:11Speaker 1: been a volunteer for sixteen years firefighter and ante. But
- 57:15Speaker 1: my day job is I'm an epidemiologist for the state
- 57:17Speaker 1: of Delaware. Oh my god, you are an impressive human being.
- 57:21Speaker 1: You've got a lot of jobs. God, I gotta tell you.
- 57:24Speaker 1: I'm volunteered for my squad. My rescue squad. It was
- 57:28Speaker 1: I was, you know, a junior high school kid, and
- 57:30Speaker 1: they had EMTs and then paramedics would meet us at
- 57:32Speaker 1: the scene. But I gotta tell you, it was such
- 57:34Speaker 1: an amazing feeling that I was doing it and then
- 57:38Speaker 1: doing it for no other reason than the joy of
- 57:41Speaker 1: helping people. And I only did that for about a year.
- 57:45Speaker 1: The fact that you and your family, you personally have
- 57:47Speaker 1: done it for sixteen years, I mean, you must get
- 57:48Speaker 1: so much gratification out of it. Oh, it's definitely. It's
- 57:52Speaker 1: one of I don't even know. It's I don't know
- 57:55Speaker 1: any other way to be. I just love to help
- 57:57Speaker 1: my community and it feels really great. Um, today I
- 58:01Speaker 1: was on one truck. My fourteen year old nephew had
- 58:03Speaker 1: just joined was on one of the other trucks. So
- 58:05Speaker 1: that's kind of cool. We got to go out there
- 58:08Speaker 1: and do that together. You seem like a really good
- 58:11Speaker 1: human being. I wish everyone could see your smile, because
- 58:13Speaker 1: she has the nicest smile ear to ear. Now, Um,
- 58:17Speaker 1: what happens when you when you how do you work
- 58:19Speaker 1: it with your with your job that pays you so
- 58:21Speaker 1: that you can sleep? I mean, because I remember I
- 58:24Speaker 1: was in high school, but there were times I had to,
- 58:26Speaker 1: you know, go out in the middle of the night,
- 58:27Speaker 1: and that was a little nutty for me. But how
- 58:30Speaker 1: do you do it? How do you how do you
- 58:31Speaker 1: juggle it with your with your real job. So this
- 58:34Speaker 1: state of Delaware is very understanding and very proud of
- 58:38Speaker 1: its volunteer fire service. So during work hours, if I
- 58:41Speaker 1: have a call and I can, I'm allowed to leave
- 58:43Speaker 1: and they give us credit. We don't have to take
- 58:45Speaker 1: vacation time. Um. And then I have like a really
- 58:48Speaker 1: amazing supervisor who if I'm out late at night or
- 58:52Speaker 1: I have something, she she works with me around it
- 58:54Speaker 1: because she knows that this is really important to me
- 58:56Speaker 1: in the community. Wow, Donald, I'm feeling like we got
- 59:00Speaker 1: to do something special for this this person. I mean,
- 59:03Speaker 1: I mean, she's making me feel a proud to newly
- 59:08Speaker 1: know her and be that you and I are shitty
- 59:10Speaker 1: human beings who don't do enough things for our community.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Let's give away some things, Joel. Do we have pallette
- 59:17Speaker 1: of GTS kombuocha? Have you ever had g kombucha or
- 59:20Speaker 1: GTS kombucha, Amanda. I had some in the closet with
- 59:24Speaker 1: me and I was going to show it to you,
- 59:25Speaker 1: but the sound was more important than showing off my GT. Well, listen,
- 59:29Speaker 1: Joel is the keeper of the secret palettes, and um,
- 59:32Speaker 1: since we are getting that, you are getting the unique flavors.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Yeah you don't find Yeah, we got that from We
- 59:40Speaker 1: got that good shit. You know like on the sneakers app,
- 59:42Speaker 1: you get those limited edition Nikes. We got those limited
- 59:45Speaker 1: edition GT got that, we got that, we got that,
- 59:47Speaker 1: We got that stuff that nobody else has. You'll be
- 59:50Speaker 1: sipping on GTS Komboocha and people will walk by and
- 59:53Speaker 1: be like, yo, where'd you get that flame? Yes? Yeah,
- 59:56Speaker 1: your fellow firefighters will be like, where did you get
- 59:58Speaker 1: that one? The Adaya shooting fla aver, There is no
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: dance shoot flavor. There is no yeah, yeah, alright, alright,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: but let's say let's say it correctly. Then there's no
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: dale shoon flavor shoon. Yeah, you say it right in
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: the song, but then when you say it in real life,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: it's like you all of a sudden lose lose sho
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: in real life. Yeah, it's like what you're trying to
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: get into our dale shoon And then you'll be like
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: what you in real life You'll be like what you're
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: trying to get into a dais shoon. So you hit it.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: You hit that. Think about as a song. I daille
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: shoot our dail shoon, our dal shoon, our dail shoon.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: O d shoot number one. We got another one, Dan
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: shoot our dail shoot our damn old dude, what you're
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: trying to get into our dale shoot? So it really
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: should be what you're trying to get into our da dude.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: I like that the remake has been dropped a number one.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Come on, we gotta focus on a man a mana.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: The good news is because you're an amazing human being
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and you volunteer for your community, and you're an emt uh,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you are getting. Joel's gonna send you the motherload of
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: GT's kombucha, an entire palette. Amanda, don't share it. And
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I had such a girl crush on Joel. You just
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: don't even understand. I love fake doctors, real friends laugh
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: connection start. You know, the ladies love new tone, new
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: ring tone, laugh connection on fake doctor's, real friends love
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: connect s. You know. Eventually, if and when I Heeart
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: really comes up with merch, we should have um. There
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: should be a mug option with Daniel and Joel on it.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I agree, Yeah, I agree. I would love to I
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: would love to make it so Daniel can no longer
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: go to the store without his he'd have to cover
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: his face, even with when the masks and no more
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: people will have to cover his face. I want to
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: do that. I want what's going to happen, the Daniel.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: The Daniel Joel Muggs will sell way better than ours.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: That's fine, Let you get a piece. I would totally
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: fucking drink my morning coffee out of a Daniel Joel.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? I would love a Daniel and
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Joel mugg where when it's when it's cold, it's Daniel,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: and when it's hot, it's Joel or or or it's us.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: And then you pour hot liquid and it turns into them. Yeah,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I would love that. That would be amazing. That would
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: be amazing. All right, come on, let's focus a man.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Do you have a question for us or do you
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: just come for your free g two? No? That is
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: that is something like I have to tell you. I
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: was so excited. I couldn't believe that I got picked
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: because um scraps meant so much to me. I'm in
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: the same age racket as you Donald and Zach so Um.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: When it came, It's quarter Life, quarter Live, Get that
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: quarter Life girl. When I came. When I watched the show,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I had just come out of college, and it made
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: me know that even though I was kind of smart
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: and m you know, doing my job, that there were
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: other people who were smart that sometimes you know, they
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: they weren't they didn't have all their ship together. So
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: it made me feel better about myself. And my question
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: to you is, as somebody in my forties who's been
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: doing a lot of stuff with COVID, I have a
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: little bit of imposter syndrome. So have you guys had
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: any imposter syndrome during your careers? What do you mean
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you have imposters? Who are you impersonating? So Um? I
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: was in charge of the case monitoring team for COVID.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: So I was the person in charge, and every time
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: they would come to me with a problem, I would
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: look around for another adult, you know, an adult year
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: adult than me. I was like, I can't believe that
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you know this is what I'm doing? Here is I'm
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: in charge of these twenty five people and I'm it. Yeah,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you're the chief. Yeah, have you guys. Ever had that
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: happen to you, Oh, you felt like you were in
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: a posture? Yeah, that happens to me all the time
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: when I start talking about subjects that I have no
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: idea what I'm talking about, and yeah, but you still commit.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I commit one hundred percent, though I commit a one
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: hundred percent until I get caught out there. And once
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I get caught out there, I'm like, well, I don't
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: really know. But for the most part, you sell it
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: really well. Though sometimes Donald will be talking It'll be
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: like it'll sound like legit, but then you kind of
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: zone out because it's like long and you're like, what
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: is he And then all of a sudden you're like, oh,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: that that actually made no sense at all. Yeah, you know,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I could be a politician, Yeah I could. I could
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: be a politician, Dude, I have the skill. I have
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: the skill to talk about shit that I have no
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: idea what I'm talking about. Yeah, just just bullshit my
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: way through. Um. I feel that way sometimes when I'm directing,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: um Amanda, there's times when I remember I was thinking
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: going in Style. It was the biggest movie I made.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: There was a huge crew. We were shooting in this
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: bank there were one hundred extras, there were hundreds of
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: crew people, and everyone just kind of waiting on me
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: to decide what we're doing. And sometimes there's a plan
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: and sometimes you're totally making it up and uh yeah,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: So I definitely in those in a few directing moments
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: have been like, um, I wish I could look to
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: somebody else to tell me what to do right now.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: It's hard to figure things out on the spot, like that, dude,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: when we were doing that video, the music video, the
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Gavin DeGraw video and everything was going to ship that day. Yeah,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: it was really interesting to look at you having to,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: you know, having everybody come to you to figure something out,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: and you sitting there like, dude, I have no idea
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: how to fix this right? Yeah? Yeah, that was and
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I understood the conundrum how about that? But it actually
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: was a blessing in disguise ultimately, because what I figured
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: out ended up being better than I think the thing
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I was striving so hard to create. Do you find
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: that right now, Amanda, that you you know, because you
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: can't turn to anybody, that you're making decisions that turn
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: out to please I hope, so especially imagine she's like, no,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I am fucking Delaware. I'm saying, this isn't recorded right.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: They have no idea. Everything's great now we're doing We
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: did really well. I had a really great team, and
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: I had people who really cared about taking care of
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: their fellow Delaware and so I was lucky because they
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: made it easy for me. Easy to lead when you
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: have good people to lead. So I was really excited
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: and blessed to have a really great team. That's awesome.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Do you have another question for another question? Another one
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: to do? So? Since you guys are both East Coasters
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: but you're not living here anymore, what do you miss
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: the most about out here on the East Coast. You know,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: I was lucky enough to spend last year the latter
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: half of the year in Jersey. I really missed the seasons,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I miss I miss spring,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I miss fall. I miss winter. In la it seems
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: like it's always summer. It's like summer and then it's
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: cold but it's not cold enough to snow, and it's
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you know, it's fall, but the trees still have leaves.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: So I miss I missed that very much. That in
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: my family, my mom, my, dad, and cousins and stuff,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: like that. I missed that about the East Coast. Um,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I have a place still in Manhattan. I haven't been
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: since COVID, So I missed that. I missed the city.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I mean, like Donald Side, I missed the seasons. I
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: love New York, when the when the leaves start to
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: turn after the summer and it's just everyone starts wearing
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: like their cozy fall clothes, and and I missed the
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: theater and just walking around New York City and the
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: people watching and just the energy and the spirit of Manhattan.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: I really really love. I missed that a lot. I
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: like what you said just now when you said that
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: you missed how you know, when fall comes, people put
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: on their cozy clothes. I missed that. But I also
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: miss when the winter ends and summer comes and everybody
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: starts dressing less. That's of course, that's what's fun about
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: the season's changing, is you're like, oh, I'm gonna finally
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: get to wear that hoodie I love, right or I'm
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: in And also, you know, in New York is so
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: interactive and and you know, in non COVID times, you
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: you you you talk to people, you you bump into people,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: and you know, la um, you know, one of the
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: stereotypes that's that's true is that you just don't really
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: have contact with strangers nearly enough because you're just there's
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: no pedestrian life. There's just you get in your car
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: and you go to meet people that you already know.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: You know. That's one of the things I really don't
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: like about LA But it is seventy five most days,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: which I do like Donald It shakes a little. It
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: shakes a little, but I thought it last night again,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: but I think, but you know what we could be,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: It could be worse. We're very lucky. You know. The
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: whole East Coast is dealing with this damn hurricane right now,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: and it's it's a big one. This is it's a
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: big one this time, you know what I mean. And
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: you know, shout out to all of the people like
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Amanda who out there, you know, supporting their community and
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: keeping their community afloat. And I want to give a
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: shout out to Amanda in another way and say, if
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: you are, if you live in a place that well,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: first of all, volunteer in any way that you can.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: But I just want to specifically speak to what she
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: does because I am someone who can attest to doing it,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: and it was so rewarding. If you happen to live
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: in a community that has a volunteer either ambulance service
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: or fire service, reach out to them. You there's so
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: much camaraderie. They will train you. If you get into it,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: you can become an EMT. And I got so much
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: out of it. And you can hear an Amanda's voice
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: how much joy it brings her. It's it's like being
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: on a team, but instead of just playing a game,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: you're going out in your community and trying to save lives.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: And right, Amanda, you could probably speak to it better
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: than I can, But I just I really think there's
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: probably some people who might be listening who are on
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: the fence about maybe wanting to try it but being
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: intimidated by it. And and this is your sign that
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: you should be doing it. I think it's one of
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: the best things that you can do. We um we
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: start at the ambulance station where I am. We start
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: kids at sixteen. At the fire station, we start kids
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: at fourteen, and it's the best experience. It's rewarding. I
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: couldn't ask for a better bunch of guys to be around,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: even though some of them are my brothers. But yeah,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: but it's it's definitely family and they're always there for
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: me no matter what. And it's um it is one
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: great big family that you you're in and they're there
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: all from the time you're in until the time you're not.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: So it's it's like a club. It's like a club,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: but what comes with the club is occasional insane moments
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: of adrenaline rush where you go where you go to
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the rescue and then your phone goes mmm on a
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: call and everybody stops and stares at you. But that's
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: that's that's good though. That's that's that's the best hard
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: about the job. Those those are the good parts about
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: the job. When ye maybe you could, maybe you could
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: set your emergency, you know, Amanda, we need you a
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: notification to what you're trying to get into. Shoot. I
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: see it. I feel like I've ruined. I feel like no,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I feel like I've I've given you a bad note.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: You know what I mean. You're like giving me a note,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and I'm in my head about the note. I don't
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: want to disappoint you. But here's the thing, I feel
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: like the saying your name has a different melody than
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: the song switched melodies, mid riff, no, no, no no.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: The way you were saying it originally was the correct way.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: The way you the way I'm sorry, the way you
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: sang it originally was correct. It's also hard to put
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: growl on it that way, and you're really limiting my growl.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: It's not hard to say, Ah, there you go. Now,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I felt that in my soul. Baby. Oh that one's nasty.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Just that's that type of ground. It brings stuff up.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: It brings stuff up from THEO. You know, you sing
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: it when you bring stuff up. All right, Amanda, you
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: have a truckload of gts kimboucha coming your way, right,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: you're well, And by truckload we mean box. No, it's
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: a palette. It's a palette of a forklift. A forklift
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: is gonna be a lot. It'll be a lot if
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: you bring it to the to the firehouse, Amanda, everyone's
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: gonna take it. So you're gonna want to mind that ship.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: My one tip and a form of advice for you
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: is that you put this in the refrigerator as soon
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: as possible because it is fermented tea. So as soon
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: as you get your palette Uh, if you don't have
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: room in your fridge, take it to the firehouse, the
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: firehouse to take it all all her fellow of firefolks
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: will steal it all. Well, it'll be going to the
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: right people. Then how about that it run to people
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: that it'll be shared well with everybody. Listen to Amanda.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: She's already talking about sharing and she's such a good person,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: whereas Donald and I are like, now, listen, you gotta
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: hoide that shit. If you kids, if you have a
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: rod fridge, fridge, if the kids finding, it's over, it's
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: over for you have the kids finding all right, Amenda,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: thank you so much. Your smile put a smile on
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: our face. Generally give it up for Amanda, slowly fading
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: away with her GTS kombucha. Wow, Joel, good pickne Awesome, Joel.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I think you got to start, uh picking more people
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: that are amazing like that. No offense to everyone who's
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: called before, but they weren't exactly full time volunteers for
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: their local fire departments. Oh, I see she was awarded
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: the GTS. I think we did it, dude, we did it.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: We did it. I thought I did in the show
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: um with the song and I want to explain. Um, so,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Bonnie there, who's a band I really really like? Are
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: they friends of yours? Um? Yes, this one qualifies. I'll
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: tell you why. So you might know him. If he
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: didn't know Bonne Vary Bereferre, you might know him. His
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: name is Justin his real name Bone Various, what do
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: you call it? Nom de plume? Joel his stage name,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: his nom de plume. And you might know him because
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: he's on the new Taylor Swift album. And I'm saying
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: those of you who don't know that he's a famous artist,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: you might be introduced to him because he sings with
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Taylor Swift on her new album. Anyway. For my film Whish,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I was here that Donald was in playing the most
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: handsome Aston Martin dealer of all time. Thank you for
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: I wanted. I wanted Justin to write an original song,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: and I thought that was a crazy long shot because
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: he's an artist I really, really, really liked, and we've
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: got in touch with them. He lives in Wisconsin on
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: a farm, and my music supervisor went up there. She
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: flew up to Wisconsin to his farm, and she had
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: a DVD of the film and she showed him the
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: film and he stood up from having seen the film
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: and walked into his studio and wrote this song called
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Heavenly Father. So this is a song that not a
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: lot of people have heard um because it was on
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: the Whish I Was Here soundtrack, But it is an
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: original song written for me and the film Whish I
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Was Here by Bonnivere. And here it is coming at you.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: I am talking it up. Thank you for listening to
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: fake doctors, real friends. Here is Bonievere and Heavenly Father,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: suber Well. I didn't need to go about then. You
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: know you give seen see me to cola dead Dad.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I don't know how you house the sin. I was
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: never sure how much of you I could let in
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: what you settle down? Baby, love has been Heavenly Father,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: steppingly alive. You don't carry other names. Thought about the
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: day were drive and do another days he learned close.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: I'm a known cow cowd turn around now when you
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: count to ten? Well no, now only I can't pretend.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Definitely followed, he sprt to his heart. The love is
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: left it in. I've just been up here for goddamn years.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Can you see how filling up balls with God? Damn
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: fill I am free up. I know about it, Don,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: and I have been saying it in Heavenly Father sot
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: in the office, safe in
