- 0:10Speaker 4: Uh?
- 0:11Speaker 3: Some great Halloween memory, some Halloween let down? A Halloween
- 0:16Speaker 3: party you went to that was great. Ghost story, a
- 0:19Speaker 3: ghost story, something about candy. It's just a chance for
- 0:23Speaker 3: you to tell us about Halloween. Do you like Halloween?
- 0:26Speaker 3: Do you love it? Do you hate it? Do you
- 0:27Speaker 3: wish it would go away? Would you do you turn
- 0:30Speaker 3: off your lights and pretend you're not home? Do you
- 0:33Speaker 3: like it when a lot of kids come to your house?
- 0:36Speaker 1: I like it when kids. I actually I quite enjoy
- 0:40Speaker 1: trick or treating. Not myself. I don't want to go anywhere,
- 0:44Speaker 1: but I actually love seeing the kids. And there's nothing
- 0:48Speaker 1: better than seeing a kid in a costume that's maybe
- 0:51Speaker 1: a little unusual and you know what it is, and
- 0:55Speaker 1: you say, hey, there, you.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Know Marlborough man.
- 0:58Speaker 5: Yeah, they're like, you got what?
- 1:04Speaker 3: I like to belittle them. That's a stupid costume. Let's
- 1:09Speaker 3: go to line number nine. I'm not sure who this
- 1:12Speaker 3: is here.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Kurk Bester ruined my Halloween forever and guard me.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It's already I sort of remember this story again.
- 1:26Speaker 3: So so already you lived. You lived in Kirster's neighborhood
- 1:30Speaker 3: in Utah County.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Palisades Drive or in Utah my house. Uh yeah, I
- 1:37Speaker 2: would face the temple. I'd sit in bed and look
- 1:39Speaker 2: at the temple every night. I was border raced in
- 1:41Speaker 2: Happy Valley and I'm sitting there in bed dreaming of.
- 1:44Speaker 6: One day having a temple marriage.
- 1:51Speaker 2: A little side note. Where I live now, my house
- 1:54Speaker 2: also faces the temple, and I still to the state,
- 1:57Speaker 2: dream of a couple, dream one day of one day
- 2:02Speaker 2: losing my frigidity. One day anyway, so I went trick
- 2:08Speaker 2: or treating in Orum and uh yeah, I got to
- 2:11Speaker 2: the Kurt Buster's house. Well, of course I was trick
- 2:13Speaker 2: or treating by myself because I smelled no one kids,
- 2:15Speaker 2: you know, because I'm a loner and kids don't like me.
- 2:17Speaker 2: So anyway, so I was out. Oh it's word in
- 2:19Speaker 2: my Jaws, my Jaws costume, because Jaws, the movie Jaws
- 2:22Speaker 2: came out nineteen seventy seven or whatever, and my mom
- 2:25Speaker 2: forgot to poke holes in the costume. That's another story
- 2:28Speaker 2: that was horri fine, No, yourr story. Well, you know,
- 2:32Speaker 2: my breast would walk up the you know, the little
- 2:34Speaker 2: plastic thing, and I couldn't see as I was bumping
- 2:36Speaker 2: around anyway. So okay, so some dogs were following me.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Three dogs were following me. I don't you know they
- 2:45Speaker 2: weren't mine. I got to Kurt Bester's house. Knock on
- 2:48Speaker 2: the door. Kurt answers, he's in the late twenties or something,
- 2:51Speaker 2: the famous Kirk Dester family wasn't on the block there
- 2:53Speaker 2: in or palase he's grabbing orm. So he opened the door.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Chaos ensues, the dogs, the dogs care in the house,
- 3:03Speaker 2: and you know, the family just starts scrambling around.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Now wait a minute, Wait a minute, So so is
- 3:08Speaker 3: this a story of how you ruined the best Halloween?
- 3:14Speaker 4: I mean I.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Went treating too the Bester's house, yea, And before I
- 3:24Speaker 2: can't even say trick or treat. Yeah, the dogs went
- 3:28Speaker 2: running in and so I finally got about. Kirk Bester
- 3:32Speaker 2: comes back, seized me with my you know, my pillow sack,
- 3:37Speaker 2: you know, waiting for some candy. I wasn't leaving without
- 3:39Speaker 2: the candy.
- 3:39Speaker 7: You know.
- 3:40Speaker 3: To find what happened?
- 3:41Speaker 2: He has four eggs. Didn't even hide the fact that
- 3:45Speaker 2: he had four eggs. Put him in my you know,
- 3:46Speaker 2: pillow sack, and then this is why everywhere. Thanks for
- 3:53Speaker 2: the dogs, he said, thanks for the dogs, slammed the door.
- 3:57Speaker 2: You kurk Pester. Well do this day that comes up
- 4:00Speaker 2: in therapy party.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I'm sorry, but it's it's it was just paying you

- 7:02Speaker 8: year up to October thirty first, they say, don't talk
- 7:05Speaker 8: to strangers, don't take Kenny from strangers. Well, on October
- 7:09Speaker 8: thirty first.
- 7:10Speaker 9: They send you outside.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Have you go talk to strangers and take Kenny from strangers?
- 7:13Speaker 3: This is this is a conundrum point you're making here, Harrison.
- 7:17Speaker 3: It's what's known as a conundrum.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Thanks, all right, Thanks whoever's helping you there, Harrison.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Feel later, I'll be buying my windowless van. Later, Mike
- 7:32Speaker 5: is here, Mike.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Ye, good morning lords. So I was going to a
- 7:40Speaker 4: Halloween party when I was in college, and I didn't
- 7:42Speaker 4: know what costume to wear. So I was knocking at
- 7:44Speaker 4: my mom and she said, oh, I've got this. I
- 7:47Speaker 4: got this best idea. So she she had for some
- 7:51Speaker 4: other reasons, she had a pair of novelty glasses that
- 7:54Speaker 4: instead of a nose, it was a phallus.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Your mom had that? What?
- 8:00Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah, how old were see?
- 8:02Speaker 6: What's crazy?
- 8:03Speaker 3: How old were you?
- 8:04Speaker 4: Rest and peace? I was. I was probably like twenty.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Okay, well that's that's and little.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, that's part of that's part of the costumes
- 8:13Speaker 4: grace because here, use these glasses. Then take these uh
- 8:17Speaker 4: these fake plastic rusty chains and put them on your shoulders.
- 8:21Speaker 4: And then take some red duct tape and put it
- 8:23Speaker 4: in a square around your knee. Make a square and
- 8:26Speaker 4: put it in your knee and put an arrow with
- 8:27Speaker 4: the tape pointing to the knee. And and then you
- 8:30Speaker 4: you can be Dick Cheney and change. And I said, okay,
- 8:35Speaker 4: and and so she said, oh this is gonna be
- 8:38Speaker 4: so you're gonna get so many laughs. And I gets
- 8:40Speaker 4: to party, and I end up spending the whole time
- 8:44Speaker 4: like a bad joke. Everyone that's the party.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Yeah. My mother did something similar when I was a
- 8:50Speaker 3: little kid. She she's she put a bunch of you know,
- 8:53Speaker 3: rags or something up on my shoulder underneath the jacket
- 8:57Speaker 3: so it looked like I had a punch back. And
- 9:00Speaker 3: she said, you can go tell everybody you're you have
- 9:03Speaker 3: you're the hunchback from necking dames. You have a hunchback
- 9:09Speaker 3: from necking dames. And and I that's yeah, my mom,
- 9:13Speaker 3: that was my mom thing. Okay, thanks, thanks, I hated
- 9:19Speaker 3: my mother.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Oh you didn't eight seven seven six oh two nine
- 9:24Speaker 5: six nine six.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Let's go to Milo. Hello, Yeah what Milo?
- 9:30Speaker 2: What's up guy?
- 9:31Speaker 3: Yeah? What's up with you?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Oh much?
- 9:34Speaker 2: Can we make Halloween great again? After a while, I
- 9:39Speaker 2: send my kids.
- 9:40Speaker 4: To school with costumes.
- 9:41Speaker 2: They say, no masks, no makeup, none of this.
- 9:45Speaker 4: We used to do.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Calloween used to be cool.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah no, Milo, you sounds so sad.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Well, well I'm meant having to be a kid and
- 9:53Speaker 2: the cool stuff we have to do back then. Now
- 9:56Speaker 2: everything is now. People don't want to go trigger treating
- 9:59Speaker 2: and all the stuff. And then we have trunk or treat,
- 10:01Speaker 2: which had a lot.
- 10:02Speaker 6: It's kind of lazy, it's creative lit.
- 10:06Speaker 3: It sucks getting older. We need to go back to
- 10:08Speaker 3: the good old days or razor blades and apples and yeah,
- 10:11Speaker 3: you know, chocolate xax and stuff like that.
- 10:14Speaker 7: A free drugs getting our candy.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Yeah, happy alloy.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Okay, let's go to zach Hello.
- 10:26Speaker 7: Yeah what lords and ladies?
- 10:29Speaker 3: Hullo.
- 10:32Speaker 7: So I'm calling in every year and I'm thirty one
- 10:37Speaker 7: years old. I've been trigger treating as long as I
- 10:40Speaker 7: can remember, and I always hear about they're gonna put
- 10:45Speaker 7: drugs in your candy. Yeah, there are so many drugs
- 10:47Speaker 7: out there that look like candy. Yeah, it's like, does
- 10:53Speaker 7: nobody realize, like how expensive these drugs candy?
- 11:00Speaker 6: I know.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I mean, they're just setting me up for disappointment too.
- 11:03Speaker 3: I didn't they get any drugs again, there's no drugs,
- 11:06Speaker 3: damn it.
- 11:08Speaker 2: No.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Yeah, they're like they're like, oh, there's all these these
- 11:11Speaker 7: there's all these uh, marijuana things that look like yeah,
- 11:15Speaker 7: like calm candies and chips, and I'm like, those are
- 11:18Speaker 7: like sixty dollars a bag. No one's going to be
- 11:20Speaker 7: given up back.
- 11:21Speaker 3: No they're not. They're not no, no, there's sometimes there
- 11:25Speaker 3: are stories of their some like some kid at home
- 11:28Speaker 3: is mistaken, you know, thinks it really is candy and
- 11:30Speaker 3: eats one or takes it to school. But nobody's going
- 11:34Speaker 3: to be handing that stuff out. No, exactly, no, yeah,
- 11:37Speaker 3: all right.
- 11:37Speaker 7: The only way kids are going to get hold of
- 11:39Speaker 7: that if their parents can't put their stuff away.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, that's right, thanks Zach, thank you, Thanks guys.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Absolutely correct. To Cara. Hello, yeah what Karra?
- 11:52Speaker 6: Hello, I care go ahead?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Morning morning, good morning, hello, Yeah, what.
- 11:58Speaker 8: To my best friend? And her birthday is tomorrow, but
- 12:02Speaker 8: she passed away last year, so sorry, I just wanted to.
- 12:05Speaker 8: I know her her son and daughter are kind of struggling.
- 12:08Speaker 8: But oh yeah, her birthday's on Halloween. We always had
- 12:12Speaker 8: a great time.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Yeah, miss her. Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 4: So my question is I.
- 12:18Speaker 8: I love Nightmare before Christmas and I had I have Zero,
- 12:23Speaker 8: and I have Jack and I had Sally just decorations,
- 12:28Speaker 8: but they all burned in a storage unit fire. So
- 12:33Speaker 8: I found Zero and I found Jack, but I cannot
- 12:37Speaker 8: find Sally. I wonder if somebody out there can tell
- 12:40Speaker 8: me where I can find a Sally decoration.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So it's got to be on eBay, you gotta, but
- 12:46Speaker 1: maybe some more close by?
- 12:47Speaker 5: Yeah, doesn't home Depot Carrie stuff like that.
- 12:52Speaker 3: They have that giant Jack Skellington. I think this year
- 12:55Speaker 3: that Yeah, like you know, they've had the giant skeleton
- 12:57Speaker 3: for a long time and now I think they have
- 12:59Speaker 3: a yeah Jack.
- 13:02Speaker 7: You know what?
- 13:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:03Speaker 8: Anything outside the box?
- 13:04Speaker 3: Yeah, give that a shout? All right, Okay, good lack.
- 13:10Speaker 3: I see, let's go to Rebecca.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Hell.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Yeah what I Rebecca?
- 13:15Speaker 2: Hi, Lords and ladies, how's it going good?
- 13:18Speaker 3: What's your story here?
- 13:21Speaker 7: Well?
- 13:21Speaker 9: My story is is I bought a British double decker
- 13:24Speaker 9: bus back in twenty twenty. And I bought it. I'm
- 13:28Speaker 9: converting it into an RV and what I ended up
- 13:32Speaker 9: doing is parking it at my parents' house because they
- 13:34Speaker 9: have a large enough driveway, and my mom she's got
- 13:38Speaker 9: a lot of health issues. So when COVID was coming around,
- 13:40Speaker 9: she's like, I don't want trigger treats coming to the
- 13:42Speaker 9: door because I don't want to die, but I still
- 13:44Speaker 9: want them to be like they could come trick or treat.
- 13:46Speaker 9: What can we do? And so I ended up checking
- 13:49Speaker 9: out my double decker bus with all kinds of Halloween
- 13:53Speaker 9: decorations blasting music, and I put an air conditioner hose
- 13:56Speaker 9: out of the second floor window and I made the hit.
- 13:59Speaker 2: And I've been doing this and I make.
- 14:00Speaker 9: The kids honk a rubber chicken that I've got hanging
- 14:03Speaker 9: from a noose on the rearview mirror downstairs, and I
- 14:08Speaker 9: dropped candy on them when they honked the chicken. It's
- 14:12Speaker 9: the greatest thing. I've been doing it ever since. Like
- 14:14Speaker 9: it ended up being super popular.
- 14:16Speaker 2: It was such a.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Fun you know, you know, Rebecca, you're kind of an
- 14:19Speaker 3: odd person.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Was pretty cool.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I love it. Well you never did convert it
- 14:28Speaker 3: into an RV of some sort.
- 14:29Speaker 9: Huh, Well, I'm working on it.
- 14:32Speaker 4: It's a it's a monny thing.
- 14:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Where where did you find a double decker bus? And
- 14:36Speaker 3: how much did it cost you? If you don't mind
- 14:38Speaker 3: me asking, Well.
- 14:40Speaker 9: It only costs twenty five grand and I got it
- 14:43Speaker 9: off of a kindly elderly British gentleman out in San Diego.
- 14:47Speaker 9: He was actually nice enough to drive the bus from
- 14:49Speaker 9: San Diego after I purchased it to my parents' house
- 14:52Speaker 9: at American Fort.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Wow, So been there ever since.
- 14:55Speaker 6: Soon.
- 14:55Speaker 4: He's awesome.
- 14:57Speaker 3: It's pretty cool, all right, Thank you, Rebecca.
- 15:01Speaker 2: You guys have people people.
- 15:03Speaker 1: A couple of people say they found Sally at Zurchers
- 15:06Speaker 1: and Brickyard. Also Spirit Halloween and Farmington has Sally stuff.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Well there you go.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Oh yeah, try trial three of those.
- 15:15Speaker 3: That person's still listening.
- 15:16Speaker 7: Here you go, hello, yeah what
