The Thurston County Youth Market Animal Sale wrapped up on Saturday, August 1st — its 35th year and a major milestone for 105 students from 14 FFA and 4H groups. Over three hours, young farmers auctioned off animals they’d raised with months of hard work, earning championship ribbons across categories like hogs, meat goats, steers, lambs, chickens, turkeys, and rabbits.
