- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning friends and enemies.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_00]: We are here as always every Monday afternoon to recap everything that happened in every game of the NFL over the weekend We are recapping the week 13 Slayer.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: We've got snap counts.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_00]: We got routes running.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: We got most importantly Injuries to check up on because that relates to your waiver wire relates what you're doing next week this week.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: We had three teams plan things giving
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: We had a black Friday game.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: We had the regular Sunday slate.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: Got a Monday night game.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: New England, New York.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: Tonight's next week.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: We've got four teams on by.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: We've got the 49ers.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: We have the Carolina Panthers.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: We have the
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: Homest Patriots, and we have the Giants.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so 14's on by, and that is the week everybody needs to get to the playoff.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: So we've got a lot of talk about today.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: We'll jump right in, starting with the Thanksgiving Day Games.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: Bang, bang, boom, we are ready to go.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: Packers, lions, packers, win this one, 31, 24.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: Lions often still feels a little bit out of sorts here.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: So Jordan love plays one of if not the best games of the season for touchdown passes again with these recaps I typically try to dive into the biggest storylines takeways things that you need to know going forward You know we don't have to touch on every little thing that happens or just repeat performances of a lot of players This was Josh Jacobs's first game back from the knee injury Was only a one-week absence, but he came back in 17 carries 83 yards.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: He did only play on
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: 80 or 55% of the snaps used me Chris for Brooks got in for 28% 18% to Emmanuel Wilson so there's still a little bit of a split backfield here and i think that will probably be the case going forward uh as long as Josh Jacobs is less than 100% healthy but still good to see him obviously rolling in here for 18 touches
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: Um, we do have a big game from non-tavion wicks.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: His first fantasy-relevant game this year, not over emphasizing that.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: Christian Watson continues to be a great piece in this offense.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: 10 targets out of 30 Jordan love past attempts.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, right now, he is a super solid flex play.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: If not like a strong, strong high-end, wide receiver three, low-end, wide receiver two, dobs four for 20 does get into the end zone.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: Him and Christian Watson are still running the most routes there.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: So this is not a non-tavion wicks takeover.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, biggest storylines here, I'm on Rossing Brown leaves with an ankle injury.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: From everything we've heard, it is a low ankle sprain, however, they do play again on Thursday.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not the typical 10 day rest you'd normally get from playing on Thursday than the following Sunday.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: So Detroit plays the Green Bay Packers, oh wait, sorry, Detroit plays the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday and I football, which should be a great game, but I don't think it's a guarantee I'm on Ross back, even though it is a low ankle sprain.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: Supposedly okay, so we're gonna have to keep a close line in practice reports if I'm a raw word of Mrs. Game obviously James and William Stain is a must start You have two interesting options behind him.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: You got Tom Kennedy.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: You kind of just came in and had a decent day Some big catches not interested in picking up or starting him but Isaac Tesla is the rookie That's gotten a lot of hype he's making big plays whenever he gets the opportunity I'm kind of looking at him is like an Andre Yoshavas where
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: He's not gonna win when guys that are above him in the depth chart are playing obviously doesn't just play a lot of snaps and when we look at the actual snap counts amongst the receivers.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: we do see that he took a massive jump up to 94% of the routes because I'm on Ross and Brown got hurt pretty early on.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: So he will be running a lot of routes.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: Will he get a lot of targets?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's a cowboy's past defense that could definitely be thrown on.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, you could do worse in picking him up, but I also think he's very risk and he's at risk for, he's very risky because he's at risk for he's very, very low floor if I'm on raw word to miss.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: If he doesn't miss, cool, just business as you
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the second game of the Thanksgiving Day, another banger.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: Cowboys beat the chiefs 31 to 28.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick McCombs for touchdowns, no interceptions, Rossi, Rice has a big day.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: Kelsey gets home with a touchdown.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: But check-o makes his return in this one.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: But Cremont still kind of dominates the backfield here.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: 14 carries to be check-o's three.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, look at the snap counts.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: It was similar in terms of domination.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: I believe hump was at around 70% of the steps.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: There's part of me that's like, yeah, it was his first game back from the multi-week injury, so this will probably get closer and closer, but I also think Cremhunt, it's very similar to the last year, where it's like when they're both on the field, Cremhunt is actually just playing a little bit better.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's like playing within the scheme.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's not very boomer bus.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: He gets what you ask for, and I think with the way the chiefs play, there are very pass heavy offense they always are.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: They don't try to fake that.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: They just know that they have patched my homes.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: They have any read and they say this is our best chance to win the game.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's just going to be a million
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so they don't try to get cute here and cream hunt is a good option for that type of offense because if you have guys that are more boomer busts, you're like, all right, but check what's trying to make plays, but then it loses three yards.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, you know, now the one part of that game, like we want to set up second and six is second and five because my home is going to make that play.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you're taking that away.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I could see.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: Check her getting a little bit more involved, but as someone who owns cream hunt in an important league, I'm not like overly excited about it, but I feel pretty good about him as a depth piece and I do think he'll probably kind of own that backfield going forward, not a lot of upside obviously though.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, that continues to play well.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: Javante gets a ton of calories, CD lamb, big game back towards picking six for 88 on 13 targets, leads the team, continues to dominate.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Could add a much bigger day, honestly, too.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: Had a target that was lost in the lights from the fucking Jerry Field at a couple of bad throws from deck, either way, you know, just starting those guys every single week.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we got the game of the evening.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: We have the Bengals and we have the Ravens here.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: Joe Barrow makes his return, of course, 24 for 46, 261, two touchdowns.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: If you watch the game, Barrow did not play well.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just leave it out there.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just, let's just, let's just be honest, missed a lot of throws looked fine.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: 5.7 yards per attempt, not good.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: But they get the win.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: So they semi-keep their playoff chances alive.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: Jamar Chase, unsurprisingly, 14 targets, seven for 110, gets it done.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Chase Brown goes over 100 yards and scrimmage again.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: But this was one of the key points that people were making throughout the week about Chase Brown's upside being a little bit limited.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it didn't come to fruition because obviously, they ran a shit ton of plays here that'll turn over.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: So they ended up running 79 plays on offense.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: So once you're pure on 14 carries for 39 yards, send mine involved in the passing game, Chase Brown 15 carries seven catches.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: So 22 touches overall.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, that's going to come down, but pure on very, very involved in this game.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: And people will already that, pure, I'm just going to have a big pass catching roll.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: Let's take a look at the long down in distance snaps for the bangles here in that backfield.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: This was one of the concerns.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Chase Brown did it again.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: Did end up having seven targets in this one, which is a very, very high number.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: But, so much of P-Rine, short down a distance, 64% inside the 5-yard line.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: It was only one carry, but he got it, long down a distance, 81%.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: Two-minute drill, Chase Brown though, might have just been the tempo of the game, whatever.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: Clearly, so much of P-Rine is going to have a little bit of an impact on Chase Brown ceiling.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, Chase Brown's playing well.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: Teagans will be back next week, the Cincinnati Bengals.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: Get the Baltimore, get the Buffalo Bills.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: On the road in Buffalo, and Buffalo's past defense is a lot better than their run defense.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: So not just a cake matchup whatsoever, so we'll see as Joe Barrow continues to get more acclimated.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: He was wearing like a steel plate in his foot and it was uncomfortable for him.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think you could tell sometimes that he was still, you know, recovering from that turf toe, but clearly out there, going to sling the ball and
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: good to see in his first game back on the flip side, you know, you'll hear a lot of reports about how horrendous of a game this was for the Marjax in.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, like, yes, he doesn't look that great running the ball.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he's actually a little bit more inaccurate than usual.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he's dealing with the hand-turing.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the toe.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what he's actually dealing with right now.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: If you watch the game though, like, I don't really think this was on the Marjax.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: you have Isaiah likely getting stripped at the one inch yard line.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: You have as a flowers getting called for a phantom fucking OPI on a 50-yard touchdown pass.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like Lamar Jackson could have had 300 and two or three touchdowns through the air.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: You had him getting stripped a couple times, which obviously is not great, but you had like a tuck rule where he just didn't throw it and then it kind of like slipped out of his hand when it was below his waist.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: So I just think like they got really unlucky in this game.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like I'm coping.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not like I have one more in my big league.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I don't
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying like I feel like the narrative around the Marjection is so insanely like strong right now.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, he's probably a little bit limited due to some injury.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: A couple bounces go his way and you're looking at in my opinion like a 25 point fantasy game and we're not worried about this at all.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we got the bears and the Eagles.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there was really no story of this game outside just the run game for Chicago.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: The monunga and deandre swift backfield just dominated the I have not seen the Eagles defensive front get pushed like they did in a game in years it was every carry monunga and swift had five yards to work with before they even had to pick a hole to go down it was crazy.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: But then guy finishes 22 for 130 on the ground and touched down.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Swift 18 for 125 and a touchdown.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: He gets the only reception in that backfield for 13 yards.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: When you look at the split breakdown, it's it's just been very similar for the last, you know, two months, month and a half, whatever.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's Swift kind of eaks him out, but they were just playing drive by drive.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: It was a Swift Drive, then it was a Monungai Drive, then it was a Swift Drive, then it was a Monungai Drive.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: So the Snap Counts aren't really something to look into just because that's gonna have been flow with what drive do you happen to be in on, whether they sustain that driver not.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: But both of them look great.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: The offensive line, the run blocking unit there is just so fucking good.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone who watches the game though that Chicago plays, they're record at nine and three.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: is, um, I don't want to say it's fluky, but their passing game is still extremely flunky.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to be able to win three, four playoff games in a row.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: by just winning the ground game, like you need your quarterback to play massive games in the playoffs in order like really make a push to the number one scene you have to see right now, but you can't you're not being honest with yourself if you watch Chicago Bears and you're like, yeah, this is a great all around offense.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: It is like, it's hard to rely on cab Williams.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's he's making a lot of really bad throws.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: some error decisions is a great runner really fast and the run game is awesome.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: So if a team can take out the run game, if a team can make their run game inefficient, so not saying is an easy task whatsoever because they're offensive line in the run blocking space is so fucking good.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to have a hard time winning games, I think.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: What does that leave for this backfield?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's really tough.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like they'll have games like this.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: And it was good to see it against the Eagles.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is a game where you go into and you're like, I'm kind of torn about both of these running backs, like, do I start them?
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: Do I sit them?
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: Cause they're gonna split carries.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: And this is a tough front seven, but clearly, not as tough as we thought.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: And they've been having trouble stopping running back sometimes this year.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: So Chicago,
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: They get, uh, who do they get?
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: They get their at Green Bay next week.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: So tough matchup on paper, Cleveland in week 15, Cleveland digitally, uh, lose Malek Williams.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Lee Collins.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Lee Collins for the remainder of the year.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: They also, I believe Shelby Harris or other interior defensive linemen got hers well.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: So while they've been great,
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: On the front seven, this here, and I still think they're going to be very above average, it's possible that they're going to be missing two really good interior players on the defensive line for that game.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, where the schedule might have looked a little scary at first.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, I got Swift on my big, my big money team and I got Rico Dattel out next week.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to be firing up Swift, obviously, has my RB2 there behind HN.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't feel relatively good about it.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: I have Kyle, but I don't got on that team as well.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I probably won't be starting him.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: I still think at the end of the day, it's like Swifle catch more passes.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: Swifle will start.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I think he's more likely to get more snaps on the goal line.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: Again, it's really just like whoever's in there gets the score.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: Swift.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: I want to say they were on the goal line and they gave them an on guy like two or three carries.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't convert and then on fourth down they brought Swift in and gave them like an off-center carry which is like kind of a sick play call.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: He ended up getting in so it's going to be tough but I still prefer Swift to my on guy right now.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: But it's a it's a tough situation to break down.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're both like borderline
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: RB22 to 26 in that range on a weekly basis, depending on the matchup going forward.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: In the passing game, again, like the whole thing just looks so fucking clunky, that it's hard to trust anyone in this passing game, and I just rather not really start anyone if I could help it.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, you want to talk about not starting anyone, Philadelphia brutal man, AJ Brown has a monster fucking game cool.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: Glad we got it.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: And even more surprising was that we had Jalen Johnson, they're all pro cornerback for the Chicago Bears and Collar Gordon both return for this game.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: So they get a big boost to their defense.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: So now I will say, like listen, they'll be a much more well-rounded team, Jalen Johnson back, Collar Gordon back.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: They were without their top three linebackers again and still held sick one barclay very much in check.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: If they get those linebackers back like they can have a pretty damn good offense.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: They went from just like a push over at the beginning of the year because a lot of the injuries, but they'll be a lot better as the season progresses.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: So good run game, good defense could take you far.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just listen, still a little skeptical about Caleb Williams just missing a lot of throws at like you just shouldn't be missing.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, not much I could tell you on the Philly side, man, just disappointing all around great to see the AJ Brown game, but like is anyone who own AJ Brown?
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: I've confidence that this is just going to be the case going forward.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: Not really.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: They got the chargers in L.A. next week.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: Tough matchup.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: Raiders washing in Buffalo though.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: Not bad.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: Um, say Kwan also.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing I can really tell you.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're offensive line is just struggling.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like Ash and Jenty back there.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: So like as soon as he touches the ball he's getting hit by seven guys.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, I don't think there's really a world where you could sit him, but like,
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what else to tell you here, moving to the Sunday slate.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: We had the Niners beat up on the Browns' 26 to 8.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: This was a big weather game.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: So it wasn't expecting much out of either side in terms of production.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Brock Party has a strong bounce back game, but again, like there's no real stats to be had here because the teams are trying both to establish the run here and not really passing the ball downfield too much.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Another stinker out of Recapir Sol, Christian McCaffrey, another 24 touches, and he touched down.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: on the flip side.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was very obvious what this game plan was going to be with the weather.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: Just give the ball to Kunchon, Jutkins, 8 million, 432,000, 674 times.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: And that happened 23 for 91 on the ground.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: Three catches 18 yards, Dylan Samson aggravated his calf.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: But I think we just saw a report that said he was dated day.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say, would be a nice little boost to Kunchon, Jutkins in the passing game if he played a little bit more of the, uh,
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Snaps on passing downs, but it does sound like Dylan Samson might not actually even miss any time.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: Shador had one nice throw to Held fan, and who was just wide open on the sideline for a touchdown.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: Other than that, an uninspiring game here took three sacks, 149 through the air.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: But again, like, I'm not really holding weather games against anyone statistically.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: They have really nice matchup at home against Tennessee next week though.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: So, Kunchai Duckins, you want in your lineup.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: I guess Fan Inverse, David and Joku, we could look into the snap counts here, and Fan In is just running circles around him and routes around.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even realize that to be honest, so 93% of the routes were held fan in 37% for Joku.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: Is that a two-week sample size now?
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: 81 to 43, yeah, just getting more and more separation there, hard to trust the passing aim, obviously, if they're going to throw for 150 yards a week, but Fan In is clearly in terms of usage, like he's the guy right now.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the Jaguars at the Tennessee Titan Sear Jaguars win 25 to 3, move to 8 and 4.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence had a really good day, 229, 2 touchdowns along with 25 on the ground there, really disappointing for ETSN 12 for 28.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: This, I feel like this has been ETSN story all season.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like as soon as people were backing on him, then he has a really disappointing game.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: Still dominated the backfield workload.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: Two and did get the goal line carry which he took in for a touchdown, but the story of the game here
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: the receiving group for Jacksonville.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: So we had Brian Thomas Jr. return from his high ankle spring, which he missed a bunch of weeks for three targets, two catches 28 yards, really disappointing day.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: Only ran around on about 65% of the dropbacks.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that he is working back from the injury.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: There was someone saying that he was not actually playing a lot of the time on two Widersy for sets.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: So unless they genuinely believe that Brian Thomas Jr. is a worse option than Parker Washington to Widersy for sets, that feels like he's working back from injury.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, you trust him at all right now.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely fucking not.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: He kind of stinks and Jacoby Myers is taking over as the one.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: Parker Washington fucked up his hip in this game.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now, typically, if it's just like a basic hit pointer, you can usually get back in the game.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it was game script related like they were up a lot and he didn't come back in, but I think he got ruled out about half time.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: So it's possible that's a muscle strain.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: You know, muscle strains typically, uh, sideline people for a few weeks, and they get indie and the New York Jets at home back to back games.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: Without sauce gardener,
- 17:37[SPEAKER_00]: Bretton Strange, second week back from his long IR Stint saw his routes jump up from 69% up to 81% in this one and Caught three four targets 45 yards a touchdown.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: So when I'm looking at you know streaming options at tight end Bretton Strange to me is like a top 10 fantasy tight end every week
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: And the exciting part of the part of Washington injury is like Jacobi Meyer's Brent and the strange run those over the middle routes that Parker Washington had kind of been sucking up targets from.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: So far watching now, I expect Brian Thompson would be back to being a full-time player.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: Jacobi Meyer has always been awesome.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's been great since they traded for him.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: Brent and Strange now getting a lot of the targets over the middle.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like I think those two are pretty damn strong plays moving forward if Parker Washington weren't a missed time.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: on the flip side, you know, another terrible, terrible, terrible game out of Tennessee.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: Literally no fantasy takeaways.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: If you are starting anyone on Tennessee's offense, you are looking forward to 2026.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: Houston Texans.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: beat the cults 20 to 16 here, shrouds first game back from the concussion 276, no touchdowns and interception.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: This team just stalled out in the red zone so many times.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: It felt like every time they got down there, it was like, oh, so you just shroud probably going to throw a touchdown here, doesn't do it.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: So better, better touchdown look going forward for Houston and CJ Schraub.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: But huge win for them.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: They play at Kansas City next week.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: So not a very easy game for them.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: But Nico 5 for 98, J. and Higgins again runs the second most routes.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: for the wide receiver position in Houston.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: So he's a legitimate flex option going forward.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Finally, give you a nice floor here outside of just scoring touchdowns.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: The backfield, again, was Woody Marks dominating 19 for 64, 9 for 34.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: Chub does get the touchdown here, which is always, you know, they do probably look at this as a little bit of a hot hand approach.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: Woody Marks did leave the game with some sort of like foot-ish injury, but then he returned.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: So monitor practice reports, but it doesn't seem overly serious here.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: For that backfield,
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, Daniel Jones, Ailing from that broken or fractured, I believe it's a tibia.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, just doesn't look as mobile, doesn't look as good as you did in the beginning of the year, obviously.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: 201 and 2 touchdowns through the air and it's hurting the ground game.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: Um, it's hurting the air game out here, so it's really the only guy to get home for for 78 in the touchdown, but that's kind of going to be a cycle going forward.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: They ran so many fewer plays than the Texans though, Texans kind of dominated the game script here.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: 69 plays on offense for the Texans.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: So when you only run 50 plays, there's just so many, so many statistics that can be thrown on paper here.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: JT get in 21 carries, obviously he comes through three for 36 to the air, but other than that, yeah, I mean it's, it's pierced its pitmen, they're like, you know, I think they're decent flex plays, but Daniel Jones is clearly slipping away a little bit in terms of, you know, we worry wasn't the beginning of the year.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: Dolphins and Saints, so I think the fantasy story for the Saints side was the fact that first game without Alankamara, Devon Neal takes the majority of the workload in that backfield, 14 carries 47 yards, Evan Hol takes five carriers for 15 yards, Devon Hol says three targets, three catches, 22 yards,
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: So in terms of production, didn't really, you know, nothing really happened there.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: He ended up with like 69 yards on 17 touches.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: But in terms of going forward and usage and stuff like that, like really strong participation there for Devon Neil, 81% of the snaps, 60% of the attempts, 70% of the routes.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: I mean 100% across the board short down long down two minutes snap so if I was a Devon Neil owner like yeah kind of sucks That you can get a good game out of him, but next four games Tampa Bay Carolina New York Jets Tennessee Titans I think you have a very very sneaky winner here.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: Devon Neil.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think could be fired up as a pretty much in every week flex plays long as tomorrow is out
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: because of his usage in this one.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: Devon Vela gets home in this one.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, no Brandon cooks, whatever.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: He ran a lot of routes.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not about to tell you to start Devon Vela going forward though.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: Flipside, terrible game from to H.A.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: and gets home.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: Darrow Woller makes his return.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: Do that two for 47 in the first quarter and then doesn't post another stat.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: for the remainder of the game.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think again, that was a lot more of like the Miami offense not doing shit and to a not connecting with anybody, just a poor game from him, surprisingly, they won the game, but for Waller, I mean, he was right back into 70% route, uh, participation roll there.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: So that was really good to see because, you know, he had some really like game changing weeks early on in the season prior to the IR stand.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: So I kind of think he's going right back to that.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: They play the Jets next week.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: and Kyle Pitts just had fucking eight catches against them, so I like him to get to Jets.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: Pittsburgh is bottom five in terms of fantasy points allowed to the tight-end position since an Addy Tampa Bay.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_00]: So you have a beautiful, beautiful slate of the next four weeks, four down or while they're so absolutely needs to be picked up.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: Jets falcons.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: We fucking stink man.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: We are so bad.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: We lose to the jets.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: Our first round pick.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have apparently.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: I actually never heard that from anyone.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: Did anyone hear that?
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have our first round pick or not.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: Does anyone know if the Rams happen to have it?
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: Does anyone happen to know if the Rams have ours?
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a top 10 pick next year?
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone out there?
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: Because I didn't know that.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: No one's actually said that.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: I've never heard anyone say that before.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, life's not good right now for falcons, um, like I said, cop, it's gets home, but like until Drake London is back in the lineup, there's no one you can actually trust in this passing game.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like, cop, it's only gets home when we play the stone worst defenses and no one else is in the lineup.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's it.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, can never trust him.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: Be John, monster day.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: Almost two and Jar some scrimmage.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: We fucking lose.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: Tyrod, good game here.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: uh... breeze haul could game and this was what i was saying pretty much all of last week if you watch my stream to watch waver wire if you watch my witer cver video kept talking about at an imitial and all the underlying usage was pointing towards at an imitial having a breakout game soon and everyone was in on john metchy because he had more production more receptions but all of his production was coming off of like scam low a dot targets
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: at an imitials a dot was really far downfield just most of his catchable targets were most of his targets were not catchable.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: So finally, he had a game 12 targets eight for one or two in a touchdown.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_00]: I have the 52-yard touchdown pass down the field.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: So all of that like
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: under producing very high value, you know, volume he was getting finally turned into production.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Does it make me trust him anymore than it did last week?
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: No, but it does kind of just show to come to fruition like what we've been saying in terms of these weeks are going to be possible for a guy like 80 Mitchell because he's getting targeted down the field.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: 25 yards in the field like three, four times a game and eventually those are going to pop.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: So if he has a game next week of three points, would it surprise me?
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: No, but if he ends up, you know, scoring 15 again, also wouldn't surprise me whatsoever.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: They play my eye me next week.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: So good matchup if you want to start him.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: Bucks at the Cardinals.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: So to Kobe, 301, 2 touchdowns, does well again.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: The back feels a little bit weird.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: So you have a Maridium Arcado missing again with a high ankle sprain.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: You had trade Benson who it looked like he was gonna return.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: This week came back to practice and then got downgraded on Wednesday from a limited practice and then DNP both Thursday and Friday which would suggest he had some sort of setback.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I think there's a chance we again miss both trade Benson and a Maridium Arcado.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: And possibly for multiple weeks.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be BAM night Michael Carter.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: They've been splitting the backfield basically 50 50 when they're in catch-up mode It's almost all Michael Carter when they can care the ball and run the ball.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost all BAM night So he'll lead in early downs.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: He will get almost all of the touchdown opportunities on the goal line ends up getting home again in this one Three straight games with at least 13 PPR fantasy points
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: Tough part about this is next two matchups, rams and the Texans, so two of the toughest defenses on paper that he goes again, so going to be shaky flex plate there Return of Marvin Harrison six for 69 was eating However, he was like limping at the end of the game with a heel injury
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't heard much about it.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know the severity.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: He kind of just immediately over took Michael Wilson again.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: They both had seven targets and we're both running all the routes pretty much, but he just outproduced Michael Wilson in this one only three for 36 through the air.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: So that does seem like the probable pecking order when Marvin Harris and your returns or is good to go.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't know what his injury status going forward is going to be with the heal injury.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: That feels like something that I don't know.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: Does that linger?
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the injury is.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see, let me check Twitter real quick and see if we've got any sort of update on Marvipu.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: They missed a car.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: Not seeing anybody nope.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, okay.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, if Marves out again, of course, like they do play, like I said, the Rams and Texians, so two very difficult matchups, but you know, McBride and Michael Wilson are going to see 10 plus targets and make them both really, really strong plays on the flip side.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: Baker still still struggling in the passing game.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: But didn't really matter, because Mr. Bucky Irving made his return.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: 17 carries 61 yards in a touchdown on the ground.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: Two for 20 through the air.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: Also had another touchdown called back.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it was a holding penalty or something like that.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: But a really good game for Bucky here.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: 19 touches in his first game, first game back.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they talked about it being kind of like a hot and approach that we're going to work him into it, but he was the one who got hot right away 54% of the snaps 80% of the rushing attempts split the routes run with Rashad White, but I expect Bucky to be more and more involved in this offense obviously as the games continue to roll by they get the Saints next week, the Falcons week after that, the Panthers and then the Dolphin.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: So if you got Bucky Irving, it is wheels the fuck.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: up going forward, and he needs to be in your lineups.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: A Mecca Buka, another disappointing day, did leave the team with eight targets, so that's good to see four for 42 through the air.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: So disappointing did have a drop.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: Chris Godwin, three for 78, had a couple of big plays.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's not someone I really want to rely on right now.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: Does he look healthier?
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, but am I ready to get him back on my lineup?
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'll probably need to see more from him.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: There was reports that Jalen McMillan could return to practice or could return, you know, semi-soon.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: Here to the lineup.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe Mike Evans could be back.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: We 14 week 15.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of moving parts still in this receiver group.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: So it gets a little bit messy, but again, buck here, everything is definitely the story of this one.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: Panthers Rams.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: We've got two more running back by committees here forming.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_00]: We have the Panther side of things, which is more concerning than the Rams side of things.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: The Panthers win this one, 31, 28, beating the Super Bowl favorites LA Rams.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: This was one of the more impressive wins of the year for any team realistically based on what we expected going in.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: me watching this game and here's how I think it kind of played out.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Rams were I think the Rams were the better team in the first half and it looked like they were on pace to win this game second half came out and the downpours were there the weather was very very affecting in this game
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: And both teams went to a run heavy approach in the second half instead of trying to pass the ball a lot and the Panthers just out executed the LA Rams now Stafford threw two picks.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: It was obviously his first picks.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: He liked broke the record for most consecutive touchdown passes without throwing an Interception and then immediately like the next drive through a pick was it really his fault?
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: I mean he threw it off like the it was a baddied pass at the line of scrimmage by a defensive line And it just popped up and got picked so I
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: I want to say more often than not, that's just going to be bad at down and hit the ground.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: It wouldn't be an interception, but it was a huge turning play.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: And then you had Mike Jackson, D-back for the Panthers, make a beautiful play on a pass from Stafford to the sidelines, which he returned for a pick six.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: That one was definitely his fault.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: Overall, I think just I test the way I saw this game, I think the Rams, this is going to sound stupid to a lot of people who didn't watch the game.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Rams were the better team to be honest with you.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: I just think second half when the rain was coming down, the Panthers executed a lot better on defense and then Bryce Young don't want to take anything away from him, 206-3 touchdowns.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: most of his production came on big plays on 4,000.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: So it was like fourth and two from like the 40 and just a beautifully executed throne ball down down the sideline to TET or to Jalen Kokers.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: So in many game plans, you know, when they're just like punching on fourth or a few going on fourth, like he wouldn't have those extra 80 yards and two touchdowns.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: Again, don't want to take it away but we're here to talk about like what's predictable going forward, what I expect going forward
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: Again, good to see, but I'm not like going into next week like hell, yeah, expecting Bryce young to go fucking crazy down the stretch.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: They get a buy in week 14.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: The more concerning part of this team is the backfield here where Rico Dattle started, but Cuba outplayed him by a long stretch yesterday.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: Rico was fine.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: He got like what he was asked to do.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: He ran hard, etc.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: All that kind of stuff.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: But Chewba actually played really well.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: This was the best Chewba's looked all year, no questions asked.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: He was explosive, he was decisive, he was making big plays.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: He outplayed Rico Dattel.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_00]: And it led to it being a pure hot hand approach.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_00]: Chewba got in and he was playing the past catching roll.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_00]: He was playing on a lot of third downs.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: That was like his role.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then because he was playing so well on the ground, he ended up like just carving out a much bigger role.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: So to be honest with you, after the buy, I expect this to be a complete 50-50.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: I expect this to be, I don't even know who's going to start.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: I expect you to be involved in the passing game.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: I still expect Riko to have a relatively large role, as you could see, you know, both them got a lot of touches.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: Shubed 19 touches, Riko had 20 touches, Riko was kind of asked to like, wear down the game at the end, and that's where a lot of his touches came, but throughout the actual game itself, Shubed outplayed him, and for the most part outtouched him and outproduced him.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, it leaves a messy backfield down the stretch for sure and more often than not games are not going to be in their favor in in in the way that they can give both running backs 20 touches.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: So in games where they both get like 13 or 12 touches, their fantasy production is going to be tough to come by.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: so that makes it that makes it tough.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: They do get New Orleans in week 15, Tampa Bay, week 16, and then Seattle in week 17, which is tough.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: I would say going forward, five to choose who I'd rather roster, it would still be Rico, but like I don't feel great about either of them unfortunately going forward.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: Flipside, Blake Horme, Kyle Williams, Blake Horme out produced him seven for 81 and a touchdown on the ground.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_00]: Kyle Williams 13 for 72 and a touchdown still had a really strong day for Kyle and, but Kyle and still out snapped him 67% to Blake Horme's like 33% so again, not overly concerned about that being an actual committee.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: Blake Horme is just going to get like, you know, full drives to himself at a time to want to add them to more touchdowns, league leading 14 at this point on pace for fucking 20.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: Overall though, I mean, Stafford missed a few throws.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously through a couple picks, but this is not like I'm not concerned about the Rams.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: I still think they're like the team to be in the NFL right now.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: They'll have a bounce back game against Arizona in Arizona next week See Hawks and the Vikings
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: Max Brosmer's first start went about as bad as you'd expect.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: Max Brosmer's first start to go.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: Four interceptions, four point two yards per attempt, took four sacks.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, horrendous, and it just absolutely tank the entire team.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: And it's, it's nearly impossible to start anyone on this team right now.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know JJ McCarthy status for week 14.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: They play Washington at home, so they have a beautiful matchup if he does get back.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I think I would probably start Justin Jefferson again.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: I guess has his worst day as a pro ever, two catches for four yards.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: If Max Brosmer is the quarterback again, you know what's funny like watching this game like you obviously played really poorly.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he like I don't think he made bad decisions necessarily.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know most people want to agree with this.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: He just like he wasn't good like the decisions that he made.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like he most of the time.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: looked at the right route, found the right receiver, he just like is probably not good enough to play at the NFL level.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like his throws were almost always behind the receivers over the head of the receivers, a little bit slow in processing, but for the most part, I thought his processing was okay, and he made a lot of the right decisions.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like this is what you get when you play against the Seattle Sea Ox defense with pressure in your face every five seconds.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: And so I do think if Rosemary gets another shot next week, JJ McCarthy's out, he'll look a little bit better against Washington.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: So I have a little bit more confidence in Jefferson,
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: Aaron Jones left with it looks like another AC spray.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: There was like conflicting reports about whether it was a re-injury to the AC spray or the other shoulders.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not actually sure.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: I do believe that there was a report that came out right before this stream about him being day-to-day with the shoulder injury.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: And if you remember when he had the AC spray in a week nine, he ended up playing in week 10.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is an injury that now we've seen with a bunch of players quarterback, non-quarterbacks.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: You can take an
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: So Aaron Jones at worst would miss one week, but I do think he could probably get that injection and then play through it.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: If he doesn't Jordan Mason for his baddesties kind of been most of the year, would have a very big workload against the Washington Commander's defense, which has allowed the fourth most fantasy points.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: in the NFL to opposing running backs.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I think regardless of what you have under center for Kevin O'Connell, Brosmer or JJ McCarthy, like you want to hide them as much as you can, and you probably give Jordan Mason as many touches as he can handle in that game.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: Xavier Scott would definitely play a role.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's he's played a decent amount of that past catching role there.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: But Jordan Mason in the four games that Aaron Jones missed earlier this year had at least 15 touches in all four games.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I would expect that to be the floor of touches for him.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_00]: So Mason would be a really, really high priority pick up if Aaron Jones is expected to miss week 14.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, it was just a game where the offense didn't need to do anything.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_00]: Sam Donald didn't play well.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: Took four sex.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: 128 yards, zero touchdowns, zero interceptions, Jackson Smith and Jigbo held the two for 23, but it was just a dominant performance from this Seattle defense just continuously putting their offense, you know, inside the 50, inside the 40, and they just didn't need to do much here.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_00]: So, split backfield for Walker and Zack Sharpen A, but we'll say,
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: It really felt like if you watched the first half, it was almost all Walker.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like Sharberna was not getting touches, not getting play time, really until the second half when the game was really iced out in a way.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, if we ever get a normal game script from Seattle, which it feels like we never do, I would expect Kenneth Walker to really like dominate the game script here.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: So, whatever, whatever.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: Bills at the Pittsburgh Steelers 26 to 7, Bills walk away with a big win here.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Allen not asked to do much 123 to touchdown through the air does get in with around 40 rushing yards on the ground.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: Story the bills side of things was just James Cook 35 touches in this one for 175 total yards from skirmish no one else in the passing game is doing shit out here.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: They need don't concede to return badly.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: Big matchup at home against Cincinnati next week.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: That would be an unbelievably good matchup for Dalton Conquade because since he has allowed the most fantasy points to the type of position on the season and he's clearly been Allen's top target so far this year.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: Flipside Aaron Rogers played Clorendously looked like he re-insured the left for us, but then it looked like he was just a punch to the fucking nose
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever, you ended up finishing the game, so no worse for the wearer, but their passing game is broken, their ground game is fine, but it's split between Warren and Kenneth Gainwell, Gainwell catching more passes, Warren getting the goal line work, Pittsburgh just one of the more unspiring teams of the season right now.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: They play at Baltimore in week 14, which is obviously a huge division game.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think the winner of that would probably move into the first place in the
- 38:04[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but you know, Baltimore's team has looked a lot better on defense over the last month or so.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't expect this to be a great outing for the Pittsburgh offense.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: Um, DK MECF.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, at this point, he's, if Rogers under center, I feel like DK MECF's is like pretty much unstartable right now, um, as is everyone in this offense outside of probably Jalen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell, if you're like, actually, despy.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's actually look at the breakdowns of the backfield there between Gainwell and Warren.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_00]: 56% in favor of Warren, 42% for kind of game well, routes are actually split down the middle, which is good to see, I guess, for Jalen Warren, short now, in distance inside the five is all Warren, of course, so it's still Warren's backfield for the most part, but yeah, like I said, 50, 50, especially in games when they are trailing here,
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: And as I always mentioned to you guys, fantasylife.com has all of this beautiful information in their utilization report.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_00]: It is one of if not the best resource in all of fantasy football right now.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_00]: If you want it for the playoffs, if you sign up for a subscription on fantasylife.com, any of their fantasylife plus subscriptions, you will have it for a full calendar year.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: So now all the way through.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_00]: to week 14 of next year.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: And if you use code BDE when you check out on fantasy life.com for their plus subscription, you will get 20% off the subscription itself.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not very expensive, super, super worth it if you want to be better at fantasy football and help make better decisions for yourself.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a ton of other tools that I don't use in these recaps obviously for you guys, but once you get the subscription, these are all available to you all outside of just the utilization
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the Chargers at the Raiders, the Raiders.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: A lot more hot ass going on over there in Las Vegas, Ash and Jenty, no running room continues to be very involved in the Passing Game 8 targets in this one on 23 Geno attempt, so he continues to have a floor because of the passing involvement.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: Rock Bowers, I mean, he's just so fucking good.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_00]: unfortunate that he's wasting away in this passing offense right now called all four of his targets 63 yards two touchdowns the touchdown catch he had with his single hand was one of the better catches of the entire season just unbelievable but they're fucking terrible they're so so bad I don't even know where you go from here.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Los Angeles Chargers, a commodity Vidal, another huge game, 25 for 126, and he touched down on the ground.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_00]: Biggest story here, of course, was just in Herbert's hand or finger, whatever.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_00]: He has a fracture in one of his fingers, and he basically put a glove on it in the second half, so that he could help with grip, but like you could tell he was not doing hand-offs to his left hand.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_00]: It was two is non-throwing hand.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: He was not doing hand-offs there.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: He'd like had to protect it, so they didn't really throw the ball much in the second half, and they were leading anyway, so they didn't really have to.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: Herbert is reportedly undergoing surgery today.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they play on Monday night.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: So he does get an extra day of rest and he came out and said Harbock came out said he doesn't know if he's going to miss any time.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_00]: Herbert came out said he's planning to play Monday.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: Herbert's one of the toughest dudes in the NFL.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: He plays through a lot of injuries.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: So despite, you know, hearing the word surgery and getting scared, really wouldn't surprise me at all if he ends up playing on Monday night.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_00]: They play against the Philadelphia Eagles at home.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I mean,
- 41:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a 50-50 chance he plays.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: If he doesn't play, Tray Lance is going to fill in obviously tough secondary against Philly, Lance would be like a spot start.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in a super flex quarterback too, legal probably would be around quarterback 18 to 22 for me.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that range with four teams on buy given the fact that he could run the ball a little bit.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: Don't want to start him if I don't have to.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_00]: But there's a chance again that Herbert misses the other storyline here is the backfield Omar and Hampton is expected to return in week 14.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_00]: That makes this backfield situation really fucking tricky If you go around Twitter
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: And you kind of look at what most of the doctors are saying and in terms of what they expect from Hampton.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: One, they definitely don't expect a full workload out of the gate, which from a volume standpoint makes it tricky to decipher like who we should be starting in fantasy.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: Two, a lot of them are concerned about what is effectiveness is going to be in this first game back from the injury.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: So think like, you know, I say, but check out last year.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: So honestly, like the chargers without their top two tackles playing against Philadelphia, if I'm already in Hampton, which we expect into return.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think when I do my running back and running against video, I think Hampton and Vidal, who I expect to have a real role in this offense as Hampton ramps up, I think both of them are going to be in the shaky flex category.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't really know how I would trust either of them.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think they'll probably both be 10 to 12, 13 touch guys.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: Vidal would probably have that like pass catching roll.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: Hampton might have the goal line roll if trail land is playing to the get to the goal line off.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: Then it's it's a very up in the air situation right now.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: But we also do have to have Hampton returning in the first place to even have that discussion.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it's a tricky situation for sure.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to Sunday night football Denver Broncos 27 and over time 26 Washington commander.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: So bone next 321 On the passing side of things Evan and Groom had probably his best game of the season 6 for 79.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not overly Excited about playing him any given weekday 45 pass attempts for the Broncos in this one not their typical game plan Quill and Sutton though does get home for me won me a big matchup at one of my leagues by two points.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: It was
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think I was going into the night up seven and a half.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: I did quarterly a sudden they had RJ Harvey.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_00]: So just barely pulled off that win.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_00]: RJ Harvey wasn't great on the ground 13 for 35, but he does get all the goal on work, which is big in this offense, especially when they're playing against teams like poking the Washington commander's here, because they're going to have the ball down by the goal line.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: They play the Raiders next week, which is another good match up here.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: If we look at the backfield splits here,
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, this game for RJ Harvey was extremely predictable, like going against Washington terrible defense had a big game, you know, ton of points for him, great to see still sub 50% of the snaps, Tyler Badeh and Jolima Kloffin still playing a decent amount.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be their top runner, but honestly he's losing a lot of routes to Badeh, he's losing two minute drill, long down distance, which you'd love to see him get because he is like kind of perfectly built for that role.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: RJ Harvey in a good matchup with 70% of the snaps would probably have a monster day, but he still gets home obviously again, 35 and 2 on the ground, plus 3 for 27 through the air.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: So good to see for Mr. Harvey, we expect Jacob Dobbins to miss, you know, probably the remainder of the regular season, at least.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: Washington side of things.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: We have Mario to putting up his best game of the year 294 or two touchdowns 10 for 55 on the ground the return of Terramaclorn big stop 7 for 96 any touchdown 14 targets in this one.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_00]: So it is possible that Jaden Daniels returns next week It's not a definite, but this is the first game in which people are saying that it is definitely a real possibility that he could return They play at Minnesota, so a tough passing defense for show there
- 44:58[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but good to see Terry McLean back to, you know, Terry McLean, fully healthy, not banged up, not re-engine or anything, so I think as far as Terry's concerned, it'll depend who's under center.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_00]: If it's Mario again, I think Terry will be like a wide receiver three for me and my rankings.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: Debo will probably be like a Furnge Widersy for three as well huge game for Zacker.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's ten for one oh six.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: I just think Zacker.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's a pretty decent play On the weekly basis.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not someone who like go like You know Abs and flows and fluctuates with Zacker.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of just been like my tight end 12 or 13 my rankings every single week take to go with the bed The backfield for Washington
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: This is, I mean, it's not tricky, but it's not inspiring, I guess you'd say.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: Chris Rodriguez over the last month of the season has just taken over completely the starting role.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_00]: 11 carries 41 yards, touchdown.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_00]: This is his third touchdown in the last four games.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: He combined for more carries than, McNickles and JCM combined there.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: They combined for 10.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: He has almost zero role in the passing game.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_00]: So he'll take the majority of early down carries.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: He will take all the goal on work.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: But he needs a touchdown in order to not have a very very low floor for you that being said though He's scoring touchdowns like again three of the last four games.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's scored a touchdown He's done that against three tough defenses Denver Detroit and Seattle three tough run defenses They play Minnesota, which is better against the past than the run Then they play the giant so we got to that and then Dallas in week 17 So they do have some plus matchups and it is very much crucial regas is rolled to lose at this point But of course again like
- 46:27[SPEAKER_00]: He'll probably put you up 10 fantasy points like in PPR and you could do a lot better than that, but there's also instances where I'm sure people could do a lot worse than that.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: So Rodriguez should be owned and I will talk more about players that should be picked up and owned into Marl's waver wire video, which has always goes live around noon eastern time on Tuesdays.
