Transcript
- 0:00Hello, good morning. Welcome. I am
- 0:02Samuel Trap. This is International
- 0:05Flavor. You are on DAM radio coming to
- 0:09you live today from the Lake Ozark real
- 0:12estate of the art studio. And what a
- 0:15beautiful morning, you know, [snorts]
- 0:17nice and crispy cold. I hate the cold,
- 0:20by the way, that. So, I was never a huge
- 0:22fan of Florida living down there. Um,
- 0:24and uh, still got plenty of ties down
- 0:28there [laughter]
- 0:29and I I want to go back cuz it's warm,
- 0:32but I don't, you know, the the the palm
- 0:34trees, you know, throw in some oak.
- 0:37Throw in some nice trees somewhere. I'm
- 0:39so tired of u of, I don't know, palm
- 0:42trees and everything's the same. But
- 0:45everything's the same up here, too. But
- 0:47here it's just I like here I'm a fall
- 0:49and spring person. The winter I just I
- 0:52have no use for summer uh I don't know
- 0:56why am I saying this? I don't really
- 0:58care. If you feel like calling in today
- 1:005737468020
- 1:02I got plenty to talk about and uh I've
- 1:05been watching this economic forum stuff
- 1:08and um I was surprised by a uh speech
- 1:13and I'm going to play it for you.
- 1:14Yesterday I talked about uh Mark Carney
- 1:16and I talked about Canada and I talked
- 1:19about Canada starting to make uh deals
- 1:22and uh diversify as it were uh
- 1:25[clears throat] away from the United
- 1:27States and not really but everyone in
- 1:31the world is doing it. And my theory and
- 1:35you don't have to believe it. I don't it
- 1:37doesn't matter to me. Today's uh
- 1:38Wednesday, by the way, the uh greatest
- 1:40day in radio history, and it occurs
- 1:44every single week. There's a new
- 1:45greatest day in radio history on DAM
- 1:48radio because we have so many uh
- 1:50wonderful um chat people. And we're not
- 1:54chat bots. We're real people. And uh
- 1:57we're real people with a variety of
- 1:59opinions. And we love to spew them out.
- 2:01Uh I want to spew out some opinions
- 2:05today. I'd uh appreciate it if you all
- 2:08joined uh in my charity. We're we're
- 2:10supposed to go live with the website.
- 2:12It's it's already up, I believe. Let me
- 2:15uh let me digress for just a minute and
- 2:20see if it is because we are on a roll.
- 2:26We're like butter and uh we are on a
- 2:31roll.
- 2:32And oops, I can't spell though. And so
- 2:35we cannot get to our web page.
- 2:41And [snorts] I'm not going to say what
- 2:42it is, although I've said it before. I
- 2:44just don't want to say it and have
- 2:45people not be able to go there
- 2:49because it's really technically not live
- 2:52yet, but oh, it's looking pretty far
- 2:55fantastic already. So, our modern law
- 2:58ecosystem
- 3:00uh is also under construction that is
- 3:03not quite done. And in that one on the
- 3:06modern law ecosystem, I want to talk a
- 3:08little bit this week about uh uh
- 3:11phenomenon that's that's gripping the
- 3:13world of AI and uh I believe it's a big
- 3:16deal and you need to to join our
- 3:19ecosystem. So I've started a website
- 3:22called the modern law ecosystem.
- 3:25Well, not me. I have partners and uh uh
- 3:27but we've started that. And what we
- 3:28would like to do, well, it's a long
- 3:30story. You know what? And I wasn't going
- 3:31to get into that today and I'm not, but
- 3:33uh I I I wanted to test out and uh I've
- 3:36been testing it over the last night and
- 3:38it's looking fantabulous. It's not quite
- 3:40done, but it it does have a blog. It's
- 3:43called Civic Outlaws. And uh we attack
- 3:48government overreach. We we go after
- 3:50them. And uh this is, you know, you can
- 3:53become a civic warrior by donating to
- 3:56our cause. It's not cheap to keep these
- 3:59people in line. And we do it through
- 4:01sunshine law requests, through filing of
- 4:04strategic suits. We have several uh
- 4:07several focuses that we are making right
- 4:10now. Flock cameras, HOA, Missouri
- 4:13alcohol, tobacco control overreach. You
- 4:16know, I always talk about the Missouri
- 4:17bar corruption and overreach and uh time
- 4:20share schemes, gaming machines in
- 4:22Missouri. Those are some of the things
- 4:24that we're working on right now. and
- 4:26we're looking for support in this uh
- 4:29endeavor as we go and attack. And so I I
- 4:33want you to know who we are. And the
- 4:36website is just about done, but you got
- 4:37to forgive me because
- 4:40I I've been trying to announce it for a
- 4:42couple of weeks, but it's just not quite
- 4:44perfect. And uh I'm I'm probably going
- 4:46too far, but it is certainly very
- 4:48welldeveloped. And uh uh you know it is
- 4:51it and I get to thinking about this and
- 4:54go you know why don't we just talk about
- 4:55it and say that civic outlaws is up and
- 4:58available and we're ready to go after uh
- 5:00government overreach on behalf of you
- 5:02right now. We're focused on uh Missouri,
- 5:05Florida cuz that's where uh we we have a
- 5:08lot of location, but Illinois, too, cuz
- 5:10we got plenty over there. And uh you
- 5:13know, we're we're going to we're going
- 5:14to spread. Our goal is to have offices
- 5:17in every state. And if you got there's
- 5:20strength in numbers, people. And so
- 5:23we're hoping that you'll become one of
- 5:25our civic warriors. So on Civic Outlaws
- 5:28and there's we're going to have
- 5:29beautiful merch for you to buy and stuff
- 5:31like that uh for our charitable
- 5:33contributions and we're going to uh uh
- 5:35connect with other charities, connect
- 5:37with making movements, connect with uh
- 5:40funding our own um you know
- 5:42[clears throat]
- 5:43I don't know agitators,
- 5:46you know, our protesters and we'll start
- 5:48we're going to start attacking
- 5:49government overreach where it needs to
- 5:51be attacked. And uh uh that's that is
- 5:54what we do. That's what I've done for
- 5:56Jesus forever. That's part of the reason
- 5:58I believe that they attacked me when I
- 6:00was a lawyer is cuz I was I was I kept
- 6:03bombarding them with various lawsuits,
- 6:06you know, for government uh overreach
- 6:08and corruption and BS and there's still
- 6:10plenty of it going along and uh you
- 6:12know, I've been quiet too long about it
- 6:14and so I'm I'm not going to be anymore.
- 6:16And so, uh, we have founded this Civic
- 6:19Outlaws and, uh, you can become a civic
- 6:22warrior by funding us, and, uh, we hope
- 6:25that you do. Anyway, uh, I I digressed a
- 6:27little bit. We're also going to have the
- 6:29modern law ecosystem, which I read to
- 6:32you the complaint that the Missouri bar
- 6:34made about me that came from one of our
- 6:36wouldbe founders that the
- 6:38[clears throat]
- 6:40he took the money and ran is what
- 6:42happened. The guy took the money and
- 6:44ran. and I'll tell you who it is one
- 6:46day, but I'm still uh struggling with
- 6:48the fact that he did it. But he took the
- 6:50money and ran and uh uh you know to
- 6:54waited for some funding, did very little
- 6:58if anything. We're currently in a
- 7:00lawsuit and and it's nonsense that that
- 7:02that these sort of things happen.
- 7:04Anyway, that is not my theme for today.
- 7:06My theme for today was this uh speech I
- 7:09heard yesterday. I told you about Mark
- 7:11Carney
- 7:12who is Canadian of course and he uh gave
- 7:18a speech at the economic forum and I'm
- 7:20going to share it with you. It's like 14
- 7:2215 minutes. I'm going to share it with
- 7:23you in its entirety because um people
- 7:26are starting to say things and it's uh
- 7:28and from Canada this is before we get
- 7:31there I want to talk about cuz we all
- 7:33talk about it on this station I believe
- 7:35you know that we are uh we're very well
- 7:37verssed in uh uh the the world order you
- 7:41know the uh uni party the what do you
- 7:47call them the global globalist elites
- 7:50sometimes people call them that and the
- 7:52globalist elites in my view are people
- 7:56like Carney or at least they have been
- 7:59forever and I believe that and and you
- 8:03know you can believe what you want. You
- 8:04don't have to believe this. This is just
- 8:05an opposing point of view to many that
- 8:08are that are spoken and and but I
- 8:11believe that that that mine is pretty
- 8:14welldeveloped and reasonable. Everybody
- 8:16knows I've had a hobby for years of
- 8:18following uh Vladimir Putin, his rise to
- 8:21power, what he's done. I I have watched
- 8:25and listened in Russian. I I like to
- 8:27keep my Russian um proficiency and Yahoo
- 8:32Narus. I want to speak in Russian and I
- 8:35and I have a channel that's in Russian
- 8:37and I and I and I I follow this stuff
- 8:40and I've watched because I was in arms
- 8:43control years ago [clears throat] and uh
- 8:47as an interpreter, inspector, escort
- 8:49over here in the United States when when
- 8:52people would come over and I and I I it
- 8:55was during the time the the wall
- 8:57collapsed in what was it ' 89 or
- 8:59something is when they uh uh they they
- 9:02took it down. Soviet Union collapsed,
- 9:03the CIS was formed and uh there there
- 9:07was been been uh you know horror story
- 9:11for Russia in the '9s just a horror
- 9:13story and out of the ashes of that
- 9:16horror story which we didn't help at
- 9:19all. We went in like corporate raiders
- 9:22and tried to steal all their stuff and
- 9:24they resented that and they resented us.
- 9:27Not
- 9:29I I don't know how to put it. We screwed
- 9:33up. We by we, I mean the globalist
- 9:37elitist a-holes. I don't mean me. I
- 9:39didn't screw up. I was sitting there
- 9:41thinking about this the whole time. It's
- 9:43like, geez, what a reversal from what
- 9:46the Soviet Union was. And trust me,
- 9:48they're not going to stay down. You
- 9:50know, I knew enough about Russian people
- 9:52to keep it. Well, this world order
- 9:55theory
- 9:57basically started after World War II.
- 9:59And I want and and and basically this is
- 10:02part of the reason that we are where we
- 10:04are. And I want to talk to you and and
- 10:06basically all I did to show you this and
- 10:09I'm going to read this to you before I
- 10:11share Mark Carney's speech with you
- 10:13because I I think it's important that
- 10:15you hear this stuff. And he started it
- 10:17in French, but I think I got it right to
- 10:19the part where it's uh it's uh in
- 10:22English and he he gives the rest of the
- 10:24speech in English cuz there was a little
- 10:25bit of a simultaneous interpretation in
- 10:28the beginning that kind of is
- 10:29distracting. I hate it when they do
- 10:31that. I'd rather see the the whole video
- 10:34and not in two languages at the same
- 10:36time because it's hard to focus on one,
- 10:38you know. And uh anyway, I want to give
- 10:41you about the new world order. It's a
- 10:44term that is often used in hype. Now,
- 10:47now I don't believe this. This is this
- 10:49is what people talk about this new world
- 10:52order conspiracy theory. And so this has
- 10:56a little bit of liberalist BS from
- 10:59Wikipedia sprinkled in. Okay, everybody
- 11:02needs to know that this is not my
- 11:04thoughts of the new world order. If I
- 11:06have things that diverge from this
- 11:07though, I shall tell you what the new
- 11:09world order has usually refers to a
- 11:13conspiracy theory that hypothesizes that
- 11:16a secretly emerging totar totalitarian
- 11:20world government will emerge. The common
- 11:24theme in these theories is a new world
- 11:26order is a secretive power elite
- 11:29globalist agenda that is conspiring to
- 11:33eventually rule the world. Now think
- 11:37about that. I think that's basically
- 11:40true. But all it is is the same old rich
- 11:44elites because the group is quite small.
- 11:48your 1enters that have all the money and
- 11:51all the power and the rest of us since
- 11:54the dark ages have been fighting this
- 11:58sort of thing and living under their
- 12:01thumb, living under their rules,
- 12:04fighting their wars because we are
- 12:08expendable trash and they are not. they
- 12:13are the globalist elites and it's the
- 12:15but it's the same thing for centuries
- 12:17that that people have been fighting.
- 12:19That's that's my theory, okay? That the
- 12:22tendency is always to
- 12:25consolidate and keep and build your own
- 12:29power. That's what we're watching now.
- 12:31It's no different under Donald Trump
- 12:33than it was under anyone else. It's just
- 12:35the base parties have changed. But up at
- 12:39the at the top levels,
- 12:42the people who get appointed to run
- 12:45government agencies that stay there
- 12:48after the presidents move on, which is
- 12:52why Donald Trump did one of the very
- 12:54best things that I liked is he kind of
- 12:56purged a lot of the the careerist level
- 13:00of these globalist that they
- 13:02needed to get rid of, right? And so I'm
- 13:04for that. Anyway, the theme continues
- 13:07that uh
- 13:10one world government will replace
- 13:13sovereign nation states. Now, we're
- 13:15watching that in some degree with what's
- 13:18going on in Europe. They're discovering
- 13:19that they're just pawns in America's
- 13:23game in NATO, in the EU. Canada has
- 13:26identified the same thing. I told you
- 13:27that yesterday. and an all-encompassing
- 13:30propaganda which ideology. They don't
- 13:34really care about the ideology. They
- 13:36care about keeping us so distracted that
- 13:38we don't notice that Oz is ruling from
- 13:41behind a curtain somewhere. Pay no
- 13:43attention to the man behind the curtain
- 13:46because we have globalist, you know,
- 13:48queer boy transgender theory to spread
- 13:51to you. And that's far more important
- 13:53than who's fingerpeting the world from
- 13:56behind the curtain, right? Many
- 13:59influential historical and contemporary
- 14:02figures have been alleged to be part of
- 14:05a cabal that operates through numerous
- 14:08front organizations um GMOs I'm sorry
- 14:12NOS's
- 14:14NOS's and uh to orchestrate significant
- 14:17political and financial events. We're
- 14:19watching this. This is not a conspiracy
- 14:22theory. This is truth. This is what's
- 14:25happening. Okay? It's no longer a a
- 14:28conspiracy theory. People know that this
- 14:31is true, that it that it it might take a
- 14:34different form than what they thought it
- 14:36was. It's not a group of people, the
- 14:38same 10 people who meet, though the
- 14:40parties may change, but it's globalist
- 14:43elite a-holes that rise to power through
- 14:46whatever means, and then they get sucked
- 14:48into this cabal
- 14:50of power because they have the ticket to
- 14:53get in the door, which is fabulous.
- 14:55wealth and so they keep it and try to
- 14:58generate generationally keep it in the
- 15:01same hands that I absolutely believe in
- 15:05and that power, you know, getting the
- 15:07blessing of the Republicans that are in
- 15:10power before somebody approves you to be
- 15:12a judge, getting the uh blessing of
- 15:15those that are a federal judge and or
- 15:17even many state judges. I believe
- 15:19Missouri is extremely corrupt in that
- 15:21regard. And uh I also believe that
- 15:23federally it's the same thing. It's
- 15:25who's whose ass you've kissed and how
- 15:27you and it's regionally for federal
- 15:29judges and how they get picked. But it's
- 15:32the same sort of system as you go. Any
- 15:34sort of bureaucratic position, any sort
- 15:36of of high level, you know, call it GS15
- 15:40and up, you know, you're you're going to
- 15:42have to kiss the political ass. And
- 15:45certainly in the general ranks, up to
- 15:47the rank of colonel,
- 15:50doesn't matter. After that, you better
- 15:52be licking the butts of power. Uh
- 15:54because that's how it works. You can get
- 15:57one star and by God if you lick enough
- 15:59ass you'll get two and and it keeps on
- 16:02going. I'm not saying these aren't
- 16:03stellar soldiers in many regards because
- 16:06they are and you know they're very
- 16:09impressive and but don't go thinking
- 16:11that they aren't part of the same
- 16:15sort of militaryindustrial complex
- 16:18because that's part of the ticket to get
- 16:23further on as you spread the wealth
- 16:26among the those who are already wealthy.
- 16:30That's how you do it. And it's hard to
- 16:32tap in and get into that circle, but
- 16:35once you're in, it's a globalist sort of
- 16:37of theory. I believe that it makes sense
- 16:40to me. Okay. So although I don't
- 16:43necessarily believe everything is here,
- 16:45many influential and historical and
- 16:47contemporary figures have been alleged
- 16:49to be part of this and uh they take
- 16:51advantage of systemic crisis. Never let
- 16:54a good crisis go to waste or cause
- 16:57crises in order to push through
- 17:00controversial policies. Think about
- 17:029/11. Think about that. Think about
- 17:05what's going on in Ukraine. Don't tell
- 17:07me that somebody didn't push through
- 17:08that. Can you imagine Hillary Clinton or
- 17:10any of these other a-holes, even
- 17:12Republican ones, going around and
- 17:14creating the same sorts of things? And
- 17:16don't go thinking that Marco Rubio isn't
- 17:19doing the same old thing that Lindsey
- 17:21Graham who's been sitting up there with
- 17:23his thumb up his ass doing nothing
- 17:25except collecting military-industrial
- 17:28complex money and spreading that wealth
- 17:30and creating uh chaos wherever he goes.
- 17:35That is how you keep the power.
- 17:37[laughter] That's how you keep spreading
- 17:40the wealth and the same make
- 17:41same amount of money. Before the early
- 17:441990s, New World Order conspiracy was
- 17:47limited to two American countercultures.
- 17:50The military anti-govern militantly
- 17:53anti-government right
- 17:56which probably included me and part of
- 17:59the fundamental Christianity concerned
- 18:02wi concerned with endtime emergence of
- 18:05the antichrist. Okay, those two have
- 18:07kind of blended together. But this is
- 18:09the theory. Academics who study
- 18:10conspiracy theory and religious
- 18:12extremists, and they gave some names,
- 18:15but I'm not going to talk about that,
- 18:16observed that right-wing conspiracy
- 18:19theories about this new world order not
- 18:22only have been embraced by many seekers
- 18:24of this knowledge, but have also seeped
- 18:26into pop culture, which fuel a surge of
- 18:29interest and participation in
- 18:32survivalism, paramilitarism, as many
- 18:34people actively prepare for apocalyptic
- 18:37and millennarian scenario. Okay, this is
- 18:40Wikipedia trying to say, "Oh, gez, are
- 18:42still all nuts." Right? We're not nuts.
- 18:45These political scientists warned that
- 18:47mass hysteria
- 18:50over new world order conspiracy theory
- 18:53could eventually have a devastating
- 18:55effect on American political life,
- 18:58ranging from escalating lonewolf
- 19:00terrorism, you know, school shooters, to
- 19:03the rise of the power of the
- 19:05authoritarian ultraist demagoguery. They
- 19:08claim that it's uh you know that's some
- 19:11sort of a Trumpist. Now Trump if he was
- 19:14staying totally nationally or doing
- 19:16things
- 19:18I said yesterday that I'm trying to
- 19:20embrace the fact that reality exists and
- 19:23that we're going to steal Greenland.
- 19:25We've already stolen Venezuela. But I I
- 19:28don't want it ever to be said that I am
- 19:32uh for this kind of government
- 19:34and government overreach because I am
- 19:36not that I I do not believe that what we
- 19:40are doing is
- 19:42an existential threat to America like
- 19:45they're trying to pump down our throats.
- 19:47This is the same old story from a
- 19:50reverse angle. Instead of the global
- 19:53elitists being people like the Clintons,
- 19:57the Bidens, the Obamas, it's they've
- 20:00been pushed down a level for a while.
- 20:03They'll come back or or or their heirs
- 20:06will come back. That's what's going to
- 20:08happen. And uh you know, they'll they'll
- 20:11be back at some point. might not be the
- 20:14the 20 uh the 2024 elections, but uh uh
- 20:21what am I talking about? 2028 elections,
- 20:24but they they'll be back, you know, and
- 20:26uh we may be in the in a different path.
- 20:29I always talk about the pendulum
- 20:31swinging and the pendulum goes uh you
- 20:34know both ways you know and uh we're at
- 20:37we're at one extreme of the pendulum
- 20:39right now but don't think it won't be
- 20:41going back the other way. uh progressive
- 20:44welcome international organization and
- 20:46regimes such as the United Nations after
- 20:49world wars were conducted but argued
- 20:52that these initiatives suffered from a
- 20:54democratic deficit and they tried to
- 20:57create all these free states like
- 21:00Ukraine. Ukraine ain't free. Ukraine
- 21:02doesn't have anything relate related to
- 21:05democracy, right? It's just not there.
- 21:07This was used during the cold war.
- 21:09There's plenty of history on um
- 21:14new world order, but postcold war the
- 21:17new world order was a focus of the
- 21:19American Christian right allegedly by
- 21:21Wikipedia. I don't believe that. I think
- 21:23it was it was uh more of a centrist
- 21:27deal. And uh uh the new world order is a
- 21:30a prophesied anti-Christian enemy
- 21:33established by globalists who use
- 21:35perceived secular philosophy such as
- 21:38environmentalism, feminism, socialism to
- 21:41thwart Christianity through the work of
- 21:44organizations such as the UN, the
- 21:46European Union, World Trade
- 21:48Organization, World Health Organization.
- 21:51These are all corrupt organizations.
- 21:53Every single one of them that they list
- 21:55is corrupt.
- 21:58Crazy stuff. It's been observed that
- 21:59throughout the 90s, the galvanized
- 22:01language used by conspiracy theorists
- 22:04led to militancy in the rise of American
- 22:07militia movement. An anti-government
- 22:10ideology spread through speeches,
- 22:13rallies, meetings, books, videotapes
- 22:16sold at gun shows. They allege shortwave
- 22:19satellite radio and now propaganda
- 22:22independent radio that these things are
- 22:26uh these conspiracy theories. They talk
- 22:29about they say the end time is a
- 22:31conspiracy theory. They talk about the
- 22:33Freemasons, the Illuminati, the Protocol
- 22:36of Elder Zion and all of these things,
- 22:39the Knights of the Round Table. They and
- 22:41and open conspiracies. They talk about
- 22:44new age people, the fourth Reich, alien
- 22:47invasions, brave new world, and they put
- 22:50all of these under the umbrella of this
- 22:53new world order. Now, we have have
- 22:57watched and mass surveillance. This is
- 22:59true. I mean, all this stuff, but they
- 23:00say you're paranoid if you if you uh
- 23:03discuss these sort of things. Well, just
- 23:05because you're not paranoid doesn't mean
- 23:07they're not out to get you. [laughter]
- 23:10You know, if you're not paranoid, you're
- 23:13you're living in a dream world of your
- 23:15own creation. Anyway, so the new world
- 23:17order, we're talking about that. My
- 23:19theory of the new world order is more of
- 23:22a globalist elite. Uh, if you want to
- 23:24call me a conspiracy theorist, it's
- 23:26great. But I believe that there is some
- 23:30kind of not a not a
- 23:33not something that's been around and it
- 23:35h but it has been around but it's not
- 23:37the same people father to son father to
- 23:39daughter independent although big
- 23:41families certainly with uh generational
- 23:45wealth do have a tendency to be part of
- 23:48this and uh you know if you can create
- 23:50your own generational wealth you can get
- 23:54your family into this cabal. Okay. I
- 23:58believe that huge money, wherever it
- 24:01comes from, is the entry ticket. And the
- 24:04fact that huge money is coming from
- 24:06so-called third world countries that
- 24:08really are not,
- 24:11I think that's been a problem for these
- 24:13globalist elites that have, you know,
- 24:15done this stuff for years. Okay, that's
- 24:18the SAM part of the theory. Okay. And
- 24:21and and most of that with variation,
- 24:25various forms of that, you know,
- 24:27population control, coupet, mind
- 24:29control, you know, alleged conspirators,
- 24:32all these things. Um, I believe in
- 24:35certain
- 24:37uh degrees. But I also am a realist and
- 24:40I think, so you want to call me a
- 24:41conspiracy theorist, great. But what I
- 24:44wanted to get to was the fact that with
- 24:47Trump came a huge fracture in this world
- 24:50order because Trump was not allowed to
- 24:53be a part of it. He was a loose cannon.
- 24:56He was the grenade with the the uh pin
- 24:59already pulled and somebody just holding
- 25:01on the clip. And uh that is Donald
- 25:04Trump. And he has been doing things that
- 25:07do not comply with the rest. has focused
- 25:10it back to America and you can like
- 25:14that. I don't really like what he's
- 25:17doing internationally. I've been pretty
- 25:18clear about that. And uh you know
- 25:21regardless of some of the justifications
- 25:23for what people have made that oh gez
- 25:26it's an existential threat. China,
- 25:28Russia, existential threats to the US.
- 25:32And that that's crap. And uh uh
- 25:35basically if we would economically
- 25:39work with and not against these two
- 25:43great powers, the three of them and
- 25:45people have alleged also that that Xi
- 25:48Jinping, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump
- 25:50could form a triumvirate that really
- 25:52could create a new world safe peaceful
- 25:56order. The trouble is is the safe and
- 25:59peaceful never remains ultimately safe
- 26:02and peaceful. But that for a couple of
- 26:04generations if the three of them had get
- 26:06together and create something and I
- 26:08would say you would have to add somebody
- 26:10like a Modi from India maybe some of the
- 26:13BRICS countries. Remember me telling you
- 26:15about being at the BRICS conference in
- 26:17Kazan, Russia last year and getting
- 26:20interviewed uh by a fake Vladimir Putin.
- 26:23I was holding a photo of Putin and it
- 26:25was like I had to speak to him and they
- 26:27uh they asked me and I said well you
- 26:29know in 10 years could America join
- 26:31Bricks? Frankly, I think that is and
- 26:35that was my instinct way back then. You
- 26:38need to join these type of things that
- 26:41are focused on economic
- 26:44power.
- 26:45You don't need to lonewolf it like we're
- 26:48doing and creating in the US. Okay. And
- 26:51so with all that and the Sam backdrop of
- 26:54what I believe the new world order could
- 26:56or should or is uh you know and my very
- 26:59and I'm open to discussion on that. I I
- 27:01I I like that sort of theory. I want to
- 27:05share with you Mark Carney's World
- 27:07Economic Forum speech, okay? Which just
- 27:11happened yesterday, okay? And it's it's
- 27:13about a new world order. It was at the
- 27:15annual meeting in Davos, World Economic
- 27:18Forum. Donald Trump is going to speak
- 27:20there. Um I hope I haven't missed it,
- 27:22but I really haven't paid attention to
- 27:23the schedule and I'm doing most of it
- 27:25through YouTube. This is out on YouTube
- 27:27and a lot of people need to pay
- 27:29attention to Davos. Ukraine has been,
- 27:31you know, shuffled off to, you know, a
- 27:34much lower priority in the agenda and
- 27:38the agenda is Greenland, world power,
- 27:42uh, sovereignty of many types. And so
- 27:44Mark Carney gave a speech yesterday.
- 27:46He's a Canadian prime minister, I think,
- 27:49is his title. Don't don't quote me on
- 27:51that. It could they could call him
- 27:52something else, and I always get I
- 27:53haven't really paid much attention to
- 27:55this guy. Um, but he spent some time in
- 27:59China create like I told you yesterday
- 28:02and and and I followed that that speech
- 28:05yesterday. I walked you through what uh
- 28:07I believe his name was Jansen, a guy on
- 28:09YouTube spoke about uh Canada
- 28:13diversifying
- 28:14away from the United States and that is
- 28:17also happening. And what we are causing,
- 28:20and when I say we, Donald Trump in this
- 28:23instance, the the what our country is
- 28:26doing in talking about seizing Greenland
- 28:29and that be an existential threat,
- 28:31It's not uh seizing the
- 28:35Venezuelan government, claiming it's a
- 28:37drug war. That is too. That's
- 28:40not true. And uh I'm not saying they
- 28:42don't shuffle off drugs, but there are
- 28:44far greater countries in the same region
- 28:48of South America that do it 10 times
- 28:51better than Venezuela ever did. And you
- 28:54justify it by going and by arresting a
- 28:57guy out of your jurisdiction and and
- 28:59creating law that doesn't exist to keep
- 29:02him. But the real thing is the same old
- 29:05regime change that America engages in to
- 29:08keep its power. And the reason is all
- 29:11economic. Don't go thinking this is
- 29:13anything other than economic uh theft.
- 29:16We've stolen the oil and and all of the
- 29:19rich resources of Venezuela and we're
- 29:22putting in a puppet government that will
- 29:24support America. Period. And that is
- 29:28what we have done. And and we have done
- 29:31it in a quiet and in a way that Russia
- 29:34hasn't been able to do with Ukraine.
- 29:37But it's the same sort of we aren't
- 29:40putting up with this on our border and
- 29:43so America can't really complain about
- 29:45what Russia is doing in Ukraine. Right?
- 29:48So with all that being said, I speak way
- 29:51too much, but it's my radio show. So
- 29:52there you go. I've given you a very good
- 29:55uh I believe view of Samism. We can call
- 29:59it the theory of Sam uh that you can put
- 30:02uh in your pocket and choose to believe
- 30:05it or not believe it. But now we're
- 30:07going to listen to Mark Carney. And this
- 30:09is about a 15minute
- 30:12deal. And we will probably listen to all
- 30:15of it because this is important. Pay
- 30:18attention to what he said here.
- 30:21It seems that every day we're reminded
- 30:25that we live in an era of great power
- 30:28rivalry. That the rules-based order is
- 30:31fading. that the strong can do what they
- 30:34can and the weak must suffer what they
- 30:37must. And this apherism of Thusidities
- 30:41is presented as inevitable as the
- 30:44natural logic of international relations
- 30:47reasserting itself.
- 30:49And faced with this logic,
- 30:52there is a strong tendency for countries
- 30:55to go along to get along, to
- 30:58accommodate,
- 31:00to avoid trouble, to hope that
- 31:02compliance will buy safety.
- 31:06Well, it won't.
- 31:09So, what are our options?
- 31:11In 1978, the Czech dissident Vaslav
- 31:14Havl, later president,
- 31:17wrote an essay called the power of the
- 31:19powerless. And in it, he asked a simple
- 31:22question. How did the communist system
- 31:25sustain itself?
- 31:27And his answer began with a green
- 31:29groceryer. Every morning, this
- 31:31shopkeeper places a sign in his window,
- 31:34workers of the world unite. He doesn't
- 31:37believe it. No one does. But he places
- 31:41the sign anyway to avoid trouble, to
- 31:43signal compliance, to get along. And
- 31:47because every shopkeeper on every street
- 31:49does the same, the system persists,
- 31:52not through violence alone, but through
- 31:55the participation of ordinary people in
- 31:58rituals they privately know to be false.
- 32:02Havl called this living within a lie.
- 32:06The system's power comes not from its
- 32:08truth, but from everyone's willingness
- 32:09to perform as if it were true.
- 32:13And its fragility comes from the same
- 32:15source. When even one person stops
- 32:19performing, when the green grosser
- 32:21removes his sign, the illusion begins to
- 32:23crack.
- 32:26Friends, it is time for companies and
- 32:30countries to take their signs down.
- 32:34Four decades. [applause]
- 32:42For decades, countries like Canada
- 32:44prospered under what we called the
- 32:45rules-based international order. We
- 32:48joined its institutions. We praised its
- 32:50principles. We benefited from its
- 32:52predictability.
- 32:54And because of that, we could pursue
- 32:55values-based foreign policies under its
- 32:57protection.
- 32:59We knew the story of the international
- 33:01rulesbased order was partially false.
- 33:04That the strongest would exempt
- 33:06themselves when convenient. That trade
- 33:08rules were enforced s asymmetrically.
- 33:13And we knew that international law
- 33:15applied with varying rigor depending on
- 33:16the identity of the accused or the
- 33:19victim.
- 33:21This fiction was useful and American
- 33:24hijgemony in particular helped provide
- 33:26public goods, open sea lanes, a stable
- 33:29financial system, collective security
- 33:32and support for frameworks for resolving
- 33:34disputes.
- 33:36So we placed the sign in the window. We
- 33:39participated in the rituals and we
- 33:42largely avoided calling out the gaps
- 33:45between rhetoric and reality.
- 33:48This bargain no longer works. Let me be
- 33:52direct. We are in the midst of a
- 33:54rupture, not a transition.
- 33:57Over the past two decades, a series of
- 33:59crises in finance, health, energy, and
- 34:01geopolitics have laid bare the risks of
- 34:04extreme global integration. But more
- 34:06recently, great powers have begun using
- 34:09economic integration as weapons. Tariffs
- 34:12as leverage, financial infrastructure as
- 34:15coercion, supply chains as
- 34:16vulnerabilities to be exploited.
- 34:20You cannot live within the lie of mutual
- 34:22benefit through integration. When
- 34:25integration becomes the source of your
- 34:28subordination,
- 34:31the multilateral institutions on which
- 34:33the middle powers have relied, the WTO,
- 34:36the UN, the COP, the architecture, the
- 34:40very architecture of collective problem
- 34:43solving are under threat.
- 34:46And as a result, many countries are
- 34:48drawing the same conclusions that they
- 34:50must develop greater strategic autonomy
- 34:53in energy, food, critical minerals, in
- 34:55finance and supply chains. And this
- 34:58impulse is understandable. A country
- 35:01that can't feed itself, fuel itself, or
- 35:03defend itself has few options. When the
- 35:06rules no longer protect you, you must
- 35:09protect yourself.
- 35:11But let's be cleareyed about where this
- 35:13leads.
- 35:14A world of fortresses will be poorer,
- 35:17more fragile, and less sustainable.
- 35:20And there's another truth. If great
- 35:23powers abandon even the pretense of
- 35:25rules and values for the unhindered
- 35:27pursuit of their power and interests,
- 35:30the gains from transactionalism
- 35:33will become harder to replicate.
- 35:37Hegeimons cannot continually monetize
- 35:40their relationships.
- 35:42Allies will diversify to hedge against
- 35:45uncertainty.
- 35:47They'll buy insurance, increase options
- 35:50in order to rebuild sovereignty.
- 35:52Sovereignty that was once grounded in
- 35:54rules, but will increasingly be anchored
- 35:57in the ability to withstand pressure.
- 36:02This room knows this is classic risk
- 36:05management. Risk management comes at a
- 36:08price.
- 36:10But that cost of strategic autonomy of
- 36:12sovereignty can also be shared.
- 36:16Collective investments in resilience are
- 36:18cheaper than everyone building their own
- 36:20fortresses.
- 36:22Shared standards reduce fragmentations.
- 36:24Complimentarities are positive some. And
- 36:28the question for middle powers like
- 36:30Canada is not whether to adapt to the
- 36:33new reality. We must. The question is
- 36:36whether we adapt by simply building
- 36:38higher walls or whether we can do
- 36:40something more ambitious.
- 36:44Now, Canada was amongst the first to
- 36:47hear the wakeup call leading us to
- 36:49fundamentally shift our strategic
- 36:51posture.
- 36:53Canadians know that our old comfortable
- 36:55assumptions that our geography and
- 36:57alliance memberships automatically
- 36:58conferred prosperity and security,
- 37:02that assumption is no longer valid.
- 37:05And our new approach rests on what
- 37:07Alexander Stub, the president of
- 37:09Finland, has termed valuebased realism.
- 37:12Or to put another way, we aim to be both
- 37:15principled and pragmatic.
- 37:18Principled in our commitment to
- 37:19fundamental values, sovereignty,
- 37:22territorial integrity, the prohibition
- 37:24of the use of force except when
- 37:26consistent with the UN charter, and
- 37:28respect for human rights. and pragmatic
- 37:31in recognizing that progress is often
- 37:33incremental, that interests diverge,
- 37:36that not every partner will share all of
- 37:39our values. So, we're engaging broadly,
- 37:42strategically with open eyes. We
- 37:44actively take on the world as it is, not
- 37:48wait around for a world we wish to be.
- 37:52We are calibrating our relationships so
- 37:55their depth reflects our values. And
- 37:58we're prioritizing broad engagement to
- 38:00maximize our influence given and given
- 38:02the fluidity of the world at the moment,
- 38:04the risks that this poses and the stakes
- 38:07for what comes next.
- 38:10And we are no longer just relying on the
- 38:12strength of our values, but also the
- 38:14value of our strength.
- 38:17We are building that strength at home.
- 38:20Since my government took office, we have
- 38:22cut taxes on incomes, on capital gains
- 38:25and business investment. We have removed
- 38:27all federal barriers to interprovincial
- 38:29trade. We are fast-tracking a trillion
- 38:31dollars of investments in energy, AI,
- 38:34critical minerals, new trade corridors,
- 38:36and beyond. We're doubling our defense
- 38:38spending by the end of this decade, and
- 38:40we're doing so in ways that build our
- 38:42domestic industries.
- 38:44And we are rapidly diversifying abroad.
- 38:47We've agreed a comprehensive strategic
- 38:50partnership with the EU, including
- 38:52joining SAFE, the European defense
- 38:55procurement arrangements. We have signed
- 38:5712 other trade and security deals on
- 39:00four continents in 6 months. In the past
- 39:03few days, we've concluded new strategic
- 39:05partnerships with China and Qatar. We're
- 39:08negotiating free trade packs with India,
- 39:11ASEAN, Thailand, Philippines, and
- 39:12Marasur.
- 39:15We're doing something else.
- 39:17To help solve global problems, we're
- 39:19pursuing variable geometry. In other
- 39:22words, different coalitions for
- 39:23different issues based on common values
- 39:26and interests. So on Ukraine, we're a
- 39:29core member of the coalition of the
- 39:31willing and one of the largest per
- 39:33capita contributors to its defense and
- 39:35security.
- 39:37on Arctic's sovereignty. We stand firmly
- 39:40with Greenland and Denmark and fully
- 39:42support their unique right to determine
- 39:45Greenland's future.
- 39:50[applause]
- 39:55Our commitment to NATO's Article 5 is
- 39:58unwavering.
- 40:00So, we're working with our NATO allies,
- 40:03including the Nordic Baltic Gate, to
- 40:05further secure the alliance's northern
- 40:07and western flanks, including through
- 40:10Canada's unprecedented investments in
- 40:13over the horizon radar, in submarines,
- 40:16in aircraft, and boots on the ground,
- 40:19boots on the ice.
- 40:21Canada strongly opposes tariffs over
- 40:24Greenland and calls for focused talks to
- 40:27achieve our shared objectives of
- 40:30security and prosperity in the Arctic.
- 40:34On plurilateral trade, we're championing
- 40:36efforts to build a bridge between the
- 40:38Trans-Pacific Partnership in the
- 40:40European Union, which would create a new
- 40:42trading block of 1.5 billion people. On
- 40:46critical minerals, we're forming buyers
- 40:48clubs anchored in the G7 so that the
- 40:50world can diversify away from
- 40:52concentrated supply. And on AI, we're
- 40:55cooperating with like-minded democracies
- 40:58to ensure that we won't ultimately be
- 41:00forced to choose between hegeimons and
- 41:03hyperscalers.
- 41:06This is not naive multilateralism,
- 41:09nor is it relying on
- 41:11their institutions. It's building
- 41:14coalitions that work issues by issue
- 41:17with partners who share enough common
- 41:19ground to act together.
- 41:22In some cases, this will be the vast
- 41:24majority of nations. What it's doing is
- 41:28creating a dense web of connections
- 41:30across trade investment culture on which
- 41:32we can draw for future challenges and
- 41:35opportunities.
- 41:38argue the middle powers must act
- 41:40together because if we're not at the
- 41:41table, we're on the menu.
- 41:46But I'd also say that great powers,
- 41:49great powers can afford for now to go it
- 41:51alone. They have the market size, the
- 41:53military capacity, and the leverage to
- 41:56dictate terms. Middle powers do not. But
- 42:00when we only negotiate bilaterally with
- 42:02a hedgeimon, we negotiate from weakness.
- 42:05We accept what's offered. We compete
- 42:08with each other to be the most
- 42:10accommodating.
- 42:12This is not sovereignty. It's the
- 42:14performance of sovereignty while
- 42:15accepting subordination.
- 42:19In a world of great power rivalry, the
- 42:21countries in between have a choice.
- 42:24Compete with each other for favor or to
- 42:27combine to create a third path with
- 42:30impact.
- 42:33We shouldn't allow the rise of hard
- 42:35power to blind us to the fact that the
- 42:38power of legitimacy, integrity, and
- 42:40rules will remain strong if we choose to
- 42:44wield them together,
- 42:46which brings me back to Hav.
- 42:49What does it mean for middle powers to
- 42:52live the truth? Well, first, it means
- 42:55naming reality. Stop invoking
- 42:57rules-based international order as
- 43:00though it still functions as advertised.
- 43:02Call it what it is, a system of
- 43:04intensifying great power rivalry where
- 43:07the most powerful pursue their interests
- 43:09using economic integration as coercion.
- 43:13It means acting consistently applying
- 43:16the same standards to allies and rivals.
- 43:19When middle powers criticize economic
- 43:21intimidation from one direction but stay
- 43:24silent when it comes from another, we
- 43:26are keeping the sign in the window.
- 43:30It means building what we claim to
- 43:32believe in
- 43:34rather than waiting for the old order to
- 43:36be restored. It means creating
- 43:38institutions and agreements that
- 43:40function as described.
- 43:42And it means reducing the leverage that
- 43:44enables coercion. That's building a
- 43:47strong domestic economy. should be every
- 43:49government's immediate priority.
- 43:52And diversification internationally is
- 43:54not just economic prudence. It's a
- 43:56material foundation for honest foreign
- 43:58policy because countries earn the right
- 44:01to principled stands by reducing their
- 44:03vulnerability to retaliation.
- 44:07So Canada
- 44:11has what the world wants. We are an
- 44:13energy superpower. We hold vast reserves
- 44:16of critical minerals. We have the most
- 44:18educated population in the world. Our
- 44:21pension funds are amongst the world's
- 44:23largest and most sophisticated
- 44:24investors. In other words, we have
- 44:27capital, talent. We also have a
- 44:29government with immense fiscal capacity
- 44:31to act decisively.
- 44:34And we have the values to which many
- 44:37others aspire.
- 44:39Canada is a pluralistic society that
- 44:42works. Our public square is loud,
- 44:45diverse, and free. Canadians remain
- 44:48committed to sustainability.
- 44:50We are a stable and reliable partner in
- 44:53a world that is anything but. A partner
- 44:56that builds and values relationships for
- 44:58the long term.
- 45:00And we have something else. We have a
- 45:02recognition of what's happening and a
- 45:04determination to act accordingly. We
- 45:07understand that this rupture calls for
- 45:09more than adaptation. It calls for
- 45:11honesty about the world as it is. We are
- 45:14taking the sign out of the window. We
- 45:17know the old order is not coming back.
- 45:20We shouldn't mourn it. Nostalgia is not
- 45:23a strategy.
- 45:25But we believe that from the fracture,
- 45:27we can build something bigger, better,
- 45:29stronger, more just. This is the task of
- 45:33the middle powers, the countries that
- 45:36have the most to lose from a world of
- 45:38fortresses and a most to gain from
- 45:40genuine cooperation.
- 45:43The powerful have their power,
- 45:46but we have something too. The capacity
- 45:49to stop pretending, to name reality, to
- 45:52build our strength at home, and to act
- 45:55together. That is Canada's path. We
- 46:00choose it openly and confidently, and it
- 46:03is a path wide open to any country
- 46:06willing to take it with us. Thank you
- 46:09very much. [applause]
- 46:15Well, friends and neighbors, I wanted to
- 46:18share that entire speech with you. And
- 46:22that was Mark Carney. Now, I haven't
- 46:24been the greatest of Mark Carney fans.
- 46:27You know, I'm not. He's certainly better
- 46:29than Justin Trudeau, who uh by the way
- 46:32is dating I forget who is it. He's
- 46:35dating somebody uh
- 46:38some uh music star here. some pop music
- 46:41star. I forget her name. I forget which
- 46:43one. But uh I always thought he was
- 46:45truthfully I thought he was gay. But uh
- 46:47I [laughter] I don't know. Never really
- 46:50paid much attention. But uh at any rate,
- 46:53if you if you I thought it was that
- 46:57speech.
- 47:00Think about this. Think about what he
- 47:02said, what he admitted
- 47:06about the world
- 47:09that we have all been saying for years.
- 47:14The sign in the window um metaphor. I
- 47:17like that, you know, I and and that
- 47:19truly is one of the reasons why these
- 47:23sorts of new world order
- 47:26uh these sorts of I don't know what um
- 47:32emphasis on, you know, the the world
- 47:35that you think it ought to be, you know.
- 47:37Um and and and of course he was slamming
- 47:39communism and talking about communism. I
- 47:43frankly systems of government all have
- 47:46their pluses and all have their minuses.
- 47:48If you think that democracy means that
- 47:51we're better than everybody else, you
- 47:53better think again. you know, having
- 47:55lived in Qatar where they have a prince
- 47:58and uh generally uh uh uh levels of and
- 48:04structure of
- 48:07I don't know racebased
- 48:09racebased activity, which they really
- 48:12do, and laws that I might not approve
- 48:16of. You know, I I I've told you the
- 48:18story about uh traffic light cameras,
- 48:21which I strongly oppose and and and I
- 48:23always did when practicing law in the
- 48:26United States. I remember Canada had
- 48:28these stupid traffic light cameras and
- 48:31they would trying to charge people with
- 48:33a crime in a traffic light camera based
- 48:36on the uh license plate. And well,
- 48:39there's no person. You can't identify
- 48:41the person driving the car. You know,
- 48:43how how the hell are you going to charge
- 48:45somebody with a crime? Uh, you're going
- 48:47to charge a car with the crime and who's
- 48:50the witness if the witness is a camera
- 48:52that is uh monitoring but not live
- 48:56seeing of a of a witness. There are all
- 48:58kinds of ways to attack that camera. So,
- 49:01we had and I always did, you know, from
- 49:03a constitutional
- 49:05American perspective.
- 49:08But I got a ticket in Qatar. got
- 49:11something uh I got a traffic ticket
- 49:14running a red light or something and uh
- 49:17with a camera. Well, there the prince
- 49:20has put in [laughter] has put in these
- 49:23traffic light cameras. It's a different
- 49:25structure. You just pay the ticket and
- 49:27move on. There's no constitutional, oh
- 49:29jeez, who's the witness? Where's the you
- 49:32know there the arguments just fall flat.
- 49:34And I'm not and Qatar is a fantastic
- 49:36country. I I I loved living there for
- 49:39the year plus that I lived there. And
- 49:42hell, I'd go back in a heartbeat.
- 49:44Morocco was fantastic. And Morocco is I
- 49:48was only there for two weeks, but uh
- 49:50Morocco is is Muslim and and it's and
- 49:53it's they they stop your car just to
- 49:56check, you know. There's all kind
- 49:58there's roadblocks all over the place.
- 50:01And uh there's police. They just they
- 50:03don't chase people down the road. They
- 50:05stop. They they're they're they're
- 50:07parked in little places along the road
- 50:09and every day they go to a different
- 50:11place and if you happen to go past there
- 50:13you will be stopped and they will ask to
- 50:16check your documents and blah blah blah.
- 50:17In Russia if somebody comes up and asks
- 50:19you to present your papers you do it.
- 50:21Here in America you'd [clears throat] go
- 50:23oh my god what the why are you stopping
- 50:26me? That not so in other countries but
- 50:29they're still fantastic countries. It's
- 50:32just a different structure. you live in
- 50:35the reality that you are presented. And
- 50:38for Americans, this is somewhat hard
- 50:40because, you know, we have been taught
- 50:43our entire lives that we are superior to
- 50:46everyone else. We just happen to live in
- 50:49the richest. Um, we can say we're the
- 50:52best, but I trust me, other countries
- 50:55don't like us. Plenty of other countries
- 50:58don't like us. And and because of that,
- 51:01you know, we think we're American
- 51:03exceptional and in some respects we are
- 51:08in some but when you go to a different
- 51:10society, you have to live according to
- 51:13the rules of that society.
- 51:16And good neighborliness
- 51:19is a concept that everyone needs to
- 51:23everyone in every nation everywhere. You
- 51:27can be as nationalist as you like. And I
- 51:30and I like that. You know, I want to
- 51:32focus on doing better for America. And
- 51:35on the Trump agenda for that, 90% of it
- 51:39I back. You know what? I I think this
- 51:41ICE stuff is a little bit nonsensical.
- 51:44It's gone a little too far in my
- 51:45opinion, but I, you know, but I can live
- 51:48with that because there's so many other
- 51:51things that are that are so much better
- 51:53than when Joe Biden was in office. You
- 51:56know what I mean? I I I I saw a gas uh
- 52:00price of u $2.40,
- 52:04$ 239, something like that. I was like,
- 52:07"Holy crap." you know that it's but what
- 52:11we've done is we've stolen
- 52:1350 million barrels of oil from Venezuela
- 52:19because our southern uh refineries which
- 52:22are built to process that oil were
- 52:25living with that oil being taken to
- 52:29other ports and the US doesn't have the
- 52:32oil to supply because of a lot of you
- 52:34know environmentalist stuff and for
- 52:36other reasons and That is the reason we
- 52:39are in Venezuela. Okay. And Trump was
- 52:43very direct about it. We're stealing
- 52:45their oil. You know, this is that's what
- 52:47we are doing. Canada, he's he's he just
- 52:50like narotism was the fake, you know,
- 52:54let's let's and I'm not saying it's
- 52:56fake. I'm not saying there aren't there
- 52:58aren't I don't call it terrorism. I call
- 53:00it narot trafficking.
- 53:03But they they they use that as a
- 53:10a pretext to attack and to arrest a
- 53:15sitting president. And that was a shock
- 53:18to the world. I think that's part of the
- 53:20reason for Mark Carney's speech. The UN,
- 53:25that's for other people. That's not for
- 53:27the US. We don't have to follow that. We
- 53:29can about it if somebody else
- 53:31doesn't. But he admitted, Carney
- 53:33admitted that the problem that all the
- 53:35middle countries had for years is that
- 53:38this rulesbased order didn't apply the
- 53:41rules equally. Russia's been saying that
- 53:43for years. So have many other countries.
- 53:46I mean, you know, this you you guys are
- 53:47a joke. You you create rules that
- 53:50everyone else has to live by, but you
- 53:52never live by them. You regime change
- 53:54all the time. You do it all the time.
- 53:57And we aren't in that. We have
- 53:59existential threats to our security when
- 54:02you build NATO all the way up to within
- 54:04striking distance of Moscow.
- 54:07And we've been telling you for 30 years
- 54:09not to do it. And you wonder why we're
- 54:12making a stand. You know, we we've lived
- 54:15through World War II and the Nazi
- 54:17threat. And if it wasn't for us, Russia
- 54:20saying this, the Europe would be
- 54:22speaking German. And that's there's no
- 54:24doubt of that. You know, the US's
- 54:26600,000 may have been the catalyst at
- 54:28the end that made it all uh go away, but
- 54:31don't go make a living under the
- 54:34illusion that America won that war.
- 54:3926 million Russians that died would say
- 54:43otherwise, that died for their own
- 54:45country. And immediately the US
- 54:48transferred away from saying that the uh
- 54:52Nazi threat of Germany was a problem.
- 54:54and immediately focusing on the the
- 54:57communism factor, we switched right into
- 55:00that and demonized Russia because they
- 55:03were a rising power and we knew who the
- 55:06two opposing parties were going to be.
- 55:09That's why they didn't, you know, that's
- 55:11why they lament not taking Stalin out
- 55:13when they thought they could because
- 55:15Russia was on its heels. I got news for
- 55:17you. Russia would have fought all the
- 55:19way to the end, you know, is is what I
- 55:21believe. I know enough Russians. They're
- 55:23the exact same as Americans. You know
- 55:25that nobody's coming to America. We'll
- 55:27fight to the last man. You know that.
- 55:30And you know that for yourself. Russia
- 55:32feels the same way about their own
- 55:34homeland. And so regardless of whether
- 55:37they live through Stalin or not, they've
- 55:40lived through the '9s. And the current
- 55:42population having lived through the 90s
- 55:45and seen that the world-based order
- 55:47helped them not a stitch and instead
- 55:50came in and robbed them blind and took
- 55:54all of their resources and all their
- 55:56money. Let me tell you this with no
- 55:58equivocation at all. They understand
- 56:02that when the McDonald's of the world
- 56:04left, when the Starbucks of the world
- 56:07left because we're going to punish
- 56:09Russia, they saw it as a gift. They
- 56:13created their Kusna toka, tasty period,
- 56:17instead of McDonald's that took all the
- 56:19stores. They created star coffee instead
- 56:22of Starbucks. And all they did was
- 56:26nationalize and sell. They seized all of
- 56:29those things and then sold them to uh
- 56:32somebody else to operate them. All of
- 56:35the power supply was already in there.
- 56:37They did the same thing to auto plants
- 56:39and let Chinese places come in and do
- 56:42it. All the all the development and the
- 56:44stuff that the the America globalist
- 56:48elitists were like, "Huh, screw them.
- 56:51Without our money, they can't do it."
- 56:53That's not true. It's wrong. And you
- 56:56know, I I say all of that just to point
- 57:00out that this speech that Mark Carney
- 57:03gave, if it's not a wakeup call
- 57:07to you to understand what's going on in
- 57:11the world, it should be what America is
- 57:15doing. And I'm a patriot, you know, I
- 57:18served my time in the military. I'm a
- 57:20I'm a I'm a soldier. I I I I I uh
- 57:25I didn't fight. I was in the in the army
- 57:27during two wars, but I was a Russian
- 57:30interpreter. We were, you know, that was
- 57:32just a constant, you know, you know, two
- 57:35fists raised in the air, one in the east
- 57:37and one in the west. And while, you
- 57:39know, other wars were going on in the
- 57:41Middle East that we created, you know,
- 57:44artificially, [laughter]
- 57:46our artificial wars were created
- 57:49everywhere else to seize resources. You
- 57:52know, that's what that's what was done.
- 57:53The political wars that we have fought
- 57:56as Americans to steal other people's
- 57:58resources have been going on for
- 58:00decades.
- 58:03[laughter] We haven't we have not been
- 58:05good neighbors. So, you could call
- 58:08Carney's speech that he just gave and I
- 58:10and and if you have, you know, I hope
- 58:12you listen to all that and you could
- 58:13listen to it again. I I would call that
- 58:15the
- 58:17good neighbor speech. Remember what he
- 58:19said? the same thing that uh uh that
- 58:21they pointed out yesterday. We
- 58:24appreciate and are living in the world
- 58:28that is
- 58:30not the world as we wish it was.
- 58:34Those are powerful words and uh I I tell
- 58:38you what his speech and again I'm no
- 58:40carney lover but he's he's absolutely
- 58:44right that uh Canada is diversifying
- 58:47Canada
- 58:49what what Trump did with tariffs against
- 58:52Canada and the demonizing of Canadians
- 58:56and turning them into the 51st state and
- 59:00treating them like you know the the ugly
- 59:04stepchild, you know, and slapping them
- 59:06around because you're you're beautiful
- 59:09child uh you know, is uh is your world
- 59:14and this horrible Harry Potter stepchild
- 59:17that lives in the cupboard under the
- 59:18stairs, you know, is just Canada. And
- 59:21and we treated them just like that.
- 59:24And and I'm not saying that some of it
- 59:27wasn't deserved. You know, Canada, we
- 59:30have been funding. Carney admitted it.
- 59:32We we've been helping them and they've
- 59:35benefited as he said from being a part
- 59:39of
- 59:41the global elite. Now, I disagree that
- 59:45because what what he didn't mention at
- 59:47all, notice how he skirted this about
- 59:50what I told you yesterday for the last 3
- 59:524 days before this Davos uh economic
- 59:55forum.
- 59:57He was where? He was in China creating
- 1:00:00deals and diversifying and making new
- 1:00:02trade arrangements there. Canada is
- 1:00:04already in the Arctic. Canada could make
- 1:00:08some strong alliances with uh China in
- 1:00:12that regard
- 1:00:14on an economic level playing good
- 1:00:18economic neighbor and I don't understand
- 1:00:22why the US doesn't attempt that first in
- 1:00:25trying to instead we're creating a fake
- 1:00:28threat that China and Russia are going
- 1:00:30to steal Greenland which is complete
- 1:00:32horse crap you know was mentioned one
- 1:00:35time in a footnote [laughter]
- 1:00:38of some report done in a UN deal and uh
- 1:00:43uh but nope that's what we're using you
- 1:00:46know to talk about um you know anyway
- 1:00:50[laughter]
- 1:00:51excuse me I still got that that long uh
- 1:00:54long present cough my emphyma from chain
- 1:00:58smoking 40 packs of cigarettes a day in
- 1:01:01my youth actually I've never smoked a
- 1:01:03cigarette but u there you
- 1:01:05Um, let's [clears throat] see.
- 1:01:08Um, I was sent a wonderful uh
- 1:01:15uh
- 1:01:17[cough]
- 1:01:18really sorry about that. An ex post
- 1:01:21about Scott Ritter and uh I I believe um
- 1:01:26this is something that I also wish to
- 1:01:29talk about. I I knew where I was going
- 1:01:31after the economic forum today. You know
- 1:01:34that the the Davos economic forum has
- 1:01:37been my focus. But but get this,
- 1:01:41this is according to Scott Ritter. And
- 1:01:43if this is true now, this was shared
- 1:01:45with with me uh by the uh wonderful and
- 1:01:50talented JR who shared this with me and
- 1:01:53he shared a couple of them, but I only
- 1:01:54had time to read one of them. And I'm
- 1:01:57going to share this in its entirety. And
- 1:01:59you might be able to go and find this on
- 1:02:01the Judging Freedom podcast. He'll
- 1:02:03probably share the audio of it today.
- 1:02:05I'm not going to I got a different route
- 1:02:08to go, but I am going to share the
- 1:02:10story. It says Scott Ritter makes a
- 1:02:12claim that if true reframes everything.
- 1:02:16Okay. And Scott Ritter, who I
- 1:02:19interviewed just the one time, I'd like
- 1:02:21to interview him again. Maybe I'll try
- 1:02:23to get him on this program again and see
- 1:02:26if I can get a good interview with him.
- 1:02:28According to him, Trump's lastminute
- 1:02:30decision not to trigger an attack on
- 1:02:33Iran wasn't hesitation, but a deliberate
- 1:02:36deliberate move to dismantle.
- 1:02:40A longprepared regime change operation
- 1:02:44involving MSAD, the CIA, and the usual
- 1:02:48Lindsey Graham types of the world,
- 1:02:50neocon warhawks. The way Ritter
- 1:02:53describes it, Trump allowed these actors
- 1:02:56to believe that he was aligned with
- 1:02:57their objective. At Mara Lago, he came
- 1:03:00to an agreement with Netanyahu. He let
- 1:03:03them plan, activate networks, and
- 1:03:06position assets. In other words, he let
- 1:03:08the operation reach the point of maximum
- 1:03:11exposure, and then at the last minute,
- 1:03:14he didn't pull the trigger. Iran
- 1:03:17allegedly alerted by Russia with Trump's
- 1:03:20knowledge. we wonder moved in time to
- 1:03:23dismantle the entire covert network.
- 1:03:26Assets were rolled up, communications
- 1:03:29compromised, entire infrastructure was
- 1:03:32destroyed.
- 1:03:34Keep in mind that these kinds of
- 1:03:35intelligence networks take years to
- 1:03:37form, sometimes decades to build. So
- 1:03:40once exposed, they don't simply get
- 1:03:43rebuilt. The capability itself
- 1:03:45disappears. So, if this account is true,
- 1:03:48Trump didn't just stop a regime change
- 1:03:51operation. He removed the ability to
- 1:03:54carry one out in the future, at least
- 1:03:57under Israel, you know, for Israel being
- 1:03:59able to do it. Frankly, I do hope this
- 1:04:02is true. But, but the geniuses of it,
- 1:04:06the genius of it doesn't stop there. By
- 1:04:09allowing the situation to escalate right
- 1:04:12up to the edge, Trump forced Iran into
- 1:04:16believing that an attack was imminent.
- 1:04:18And when a regime believes the moment
- 1:04:20has arrived, it reveals itself.
- 1:04:23Emergency protocols also get activated,
- 1:04:27military movements occur, communication
- 1:04:30pathways change, and leadership
- 1:04:32protection mechanisms are triggered. In
- 1:04:35other words, Iran shows its capabilities
- 1:04:38and its hand and and who's going to
- 1:04:41support them. I would add
- 1:04:45that response, how they move, what they
- 1:04:48protect, what is prioritized, what is
- 1:04:51triggered is priceless from an
- 1:04:53intelligence point of view, which you
- 1:04:57only get when the other side believes
- 1:04:59the threat to be real. Right? Israel and
- 1:05:03its intelligence hawks were allowed to
- 1:05:06overextend themselves and expose their
- 1:05:09own covert machinery. Iran was pressured
- 1:05:12into revealing its defensive response
- 1:05:14and what it would be. No war was
- 1:05:17launched. No missiles were fired. But
- 1:05:19the strategic balance has completely
- 1:05:22changed. If this was a carefully
- 1:05:25premeditated plan by Trump,
- 1:05:28as Ritter suggests, then it was just a
- 1:05:32genius move. War mongers themselves were
- 1:05:36neutralized. The adversary was exposed.
- 1:05:40War was avoided and Trump walks away
- 1:05:44holding all the leverage. Strategically,
- 1:05:47that's a masterful move. And it's why
- 1:05:50Trump continues to confound both his
- 1:05:52enemies and his allies. And uh I don't
- 1:05:57know that's a you know people are going
- 1:05:59to claim that's a conspiracy theory. I
- 1:06:01can see it as being everybody says uh
- 1:06:05most notably JR. He and I argue you know
- 1:06:08uh friendly sorts of arguments all the
- 1:06:10time because he disagrees with things
- 1:06:12that I say. I disagree with some of the
- 1:06:14things he says. But I love listening to
- 1:06:15him and I like differing opinions. I
- 1:06:18have no problem with it, you know, and
- 1:06:20uh I consider him a a long time and very
- 1:06:23good friend. And uh I know he disagrees
- 1:06:26with me on some of the stuff that I like
- 1:06:28to spew out.
- 1:06:31And I am not as big a Trumper as he is.
- 1:06:35I don't know that there's anybody that
- 1:06:38is as big a Trumper as he is. And and
- 1:06:41I'm not against that. I I think that
- 1:06:43Trump has been uh in many many respects
- 1:06:49exactly what America needed at exactly
- 1:06:51the right time.
- 1:06:54Think about that. Uh if if you believe
- 1:06:57in conspiracy theories, if you believe
- 1:07:01in end times sorts of things, if you
- 1:07:05believe that we are on the verge of the
- 1:07:08second coming of Jesus Christ, well,
- 1:07:12Trump couldn't be better placed than he
- 1:07:16is. As you know, I remember uh growing
- 1:07:20up, I grew up Mormon and uh uh we also
- 1:07:23have the end times theory. I would share
- 1:07:26a story with you, but it's way too
- 1:07:28personal for me to uh to share
- 1:07:32unless it's like, you know, deep and
- 1:07:34true friends that I that I would share
- 1:07:36it with. But um there are things that I
- 1:07:40believe that I would never share with
- 1:07:43anybody and uh uh that I wouldn't that I
- 1:07:46wouldn't spew out. Um 98%
- 1:07:51of me is a wide open book, you know, and
- 1:07:55I am am
- 1:07:57I I accept who I am, okay? I accept, you
- 1:08:01know, my shortcomings and my, you know,
- 1:08:03I'm I'm comfortable in life at present.
- 1:08:07There there are some things that I wish
- 1:08:08I could change. I mean, everybody's like
- 1:08:10that, but in general, I've lived uh a
- 1:08:14pretty good life, you know, and in my
- 1:08:17older age, you know, I'm not old yet,
- 1:08:20but I'm on the verge. [laughter]
- 1:08:22I'll be I'll be old before to you know
- 1:08:25if I was a young kid you know I'm old
- 1:08:27you know but uh uh it's um but the older
- 1:08:30you get the less old you feel that's
- 1:08:33that's especially if you are generally
- 1:08:35healthy as I am you know that doesn't
- 1:08:38mean I can't kick off tomorrow and so I
- 1:08:41believe in living the you know the life
- 1:08:43that I wish to lead and hope to lead and
- 1:08:48uh you know I hope that everyone else is
- 1:08:50doing the same But uh the world is
- 1:08:53vastly different than what
- 1:08:57I was led to believe in my youth and to
- 1:09:00what and but some of those core beliefs
- 1:09:03that I learned in the Mormon church are
- 1:09:05still in my in my brain, you know, are
- 1:09:09are there those are fundamental tools,
- 1:09:13you know, I'm not a faright, you know,
- 1:09:15religious loony, you know, of of of any
- 1:09:18kind, you know, and far-right religious
- 1:09:20loonies exist in all kinds of religions.
- 1:09:23Okay. So, but but I'm I'm I'm a a
- 1:09:27believer without picking a a certain
- 1:09:29denomination. Let's put it that way. I
- 1:09:32have my own belief structure because I
- 1:09:35think every
- 1:09:37uh earthbased
- 1:09:40church has its own problems to deal
- 1:09:43with. You know, I'm not a preacher. I'm
- 1:09:45not Well, maybe I am. [laughter] I'm
- 1:09:47preaching to you live from the Lake
- 1:09:49Ozark real estate of the art studio
- 1:09:51today. And uh but mine is the policy of
- 1:09:55of of [sighs]
- 1:09:58of knowledge that you might you don't
- 1:10:02have to agree with me on, but I hope
- 1:10:04that you respect my opinion. You know,
- 1:10:08obviously if you if you're listening,
- 1:10:09I've I've engaged you to think part of
- 1:10:13the way that I I think or at least be an
- 1:10:15opposing point of view. You know what I
- 1:10:17mean? And I like listening to people
- 1:10:19that I don't necessarily agree with. And
- 1:10:21when they car thing came up for me to
- 1:10:24watch in the middle of the night, I was
- 1:10:26like, "Oh jeez, this guy's a a a bone
- 1:10:29head." You know, I ain't listening. But
- 1:10:32then I listened and I'm very glad I did.
- 1:10:34And I'm very glad I shared it with you.
- 1:10:36And I did because he is a person that I
- 1:10:40wouldn't necessarily
- 1:10:43jump to agree with.
- 1:10:46Liberal world leaders like those in
- 1:10:48Europe I considered to be weak and I
- 1:10:51find them to be weak because they don't
- 1:10:54generally do what Mark Carney did.
- 1:10:59Stand up. You don't have to agree with
- 1:11:02everything that he said, but he believes
- 1:11:06what he said and that is why his opinion
- 1:11:10matters. He's not just spewing. I mean,
- 1:11:13anytime Hillary Clinton opened her
- 1:11:15mouth, I didn't believe a word of it
- 1:11:17because she didn't believe a word of it.
- 1:11:20She was a used car salesman selling crap
- 1:11:24to make sure that her generational
- 1:11:26wealth for her family was funded by
- 1:11:29money from those who wish to who fund
- 1:11:32NOS's in the government. I mean what did
- 1:11:35her daughter get? How many millions did
- 1:11:37her go daughter get from the US
- 1:11:39government never have to work again? Did
- 1:11:42do you think they funded their family uh
- 1:11:47uh for generations?
- 1:11:49Do you think there's generational power
- 1:11:52now in the Clinton family that didn't
- 1:11:54exist before uh uh they took some form
- 1:11:58before they convinced Arkansas to uh
- 1:12:02elect them and before they you know did
- 1:12:05their political ass kissing. That is the
- 1:12:09game [laughter] in democracy. That's the
- 1:12:12game for the huge power. If you lick the
- 1:12:15right rear end,
- 1:12:18you can have that power. You can get
- 1:12:20elected to Congress and be fabulously
- 1:12:23wealthy. That's how it works. And you
- 1:12:27can go in extremely poor and when you
- 1:12:29leave, you're a multi-millionaire.
- 1:12:31And hopefully you have enough to fund
- 1:12:35your family for generations. The same is
- 1:12:38true state of Missouri. Same is true in
- 1:12:40many states. This is the reason why I am
- 1:12:43creating and we have created civic
- 1:12:45outlaws. We wish to go after that kind
- 1:12:47of thing. We wish to expose that kind of
- 1:12:50thing. We wish to use sunshine law and
- 1:12:53freedom of information act documents to
- 1:12:56obtain information
- 1:12:59that is extremely useful and they have
- 1:13:03to provide it but it's expensive. Do you
- 1:13:05know I I I shared it with you last week
- 1:13:08that the alcohol tobacco morons in
- 1:13:12Missouri sent us a document that says
- 1:13:15that the the sunshine request that we
- 1:13:17requested will take [snorts]
- 1:13:19$390,000
- 1:13:22to uh pay for and they won't start until
- 1:13:25we pay it in advance and 44 some odd
- 1:13:29years to process and we can have the
- 1:13:33documents after all of us are long dead,
- 1:13:36then we can have them. That's how
- 1:13:38sunshine works in the uh alcohol tobacco
- 1:13:41control halls of the state of Missouri.
- 1:13:45They're a bunch of nuts in there and uh
- 1:13:47they're one of our targets and some of
- 1:13:49it is out there on Civic Outlaws. Now,
- 1:13:52you can go out there and see some of the
- 1:13:55stuff that uh some of these documents
- 1:13:58that Missouri Alcohol Tobacco has just
- 1:14:01put out. [laughter]
- 1:14:02They're hilarious. And uh it's like, oh
- 1:14:04my god, who do these people think they
- 1:14:07are? They're nuts. And uh they they get
- 1:14:10to dictate their own morality to the
- 1:14:13rest of the world. It's pretty funny.
- 1:14:15And so that is one objective that we're
- 1:14:17making on civic outlaws. Another one is
- 1:14:20uh we're we're we're very concerned with
- 1:14:23HOAs
- 1:14:25in Florida and Missouri. This is this is
- 1:14:27an important concept. So, HOAs,
- 1:14:32they're and we're looking at multiple
- 1:14:34acts to go after them bec because they
- 1:14:39are screwing the hell out of their their
- 1:14:41people. They they paid for their
- 1:14:44existence and their property decades
- 1:14:47ago. They've been paid off, but every
- 1:14:50year the fee goes up another $100,
- 1:14:54another $200. You know, you're paying
- 1:14:57$1,250
- 1:14:59for a lot rent for a a a trailer park
- 1:15:04mobile home in a community of a,000 plus
- 1:15:07units. And imagine this. A,000 time
- 1:15:11a,000 is what? A million. A million
- 1:15:15bucks plus a month to do what? Have a
- 1:15:20swimming tool pool that was built in the
- 1:15:22'9s. They're funding the same
- 1:15:25generational wealth that's been going,
- 1:15:27but they but they're not happy with, you
- 1:15:30know, geez 200,000 300,000 a month,
- 1:15:33which would be a reasonable rate.
- 1:15:37They're upping it every year because
- 1:15:39why? They have to fund their uh
- 1:15:44globalist tendencies. They're building
- 1:15:47generational wealth by theft from
- 1:15:49everybody else by by profit margins that
- 1:15:53instead of being 10, 15, 20%, they're
- 1:15:58500%.
- 1:16:00[laughter] And that's nonsense. You
- 1:16:02know, I have no problem with people
- 1:16:04making money. I I I I
- 1:16:07live in. You have to make money. You
- 1:16:10have to survive. but screwing people.
- 1:16:14That's what we're against. And mostly
- 1:16:17from
- 1:16:19governmental and quasi governmental
- 1:16:21organizations. This is what I'm talking
- 1:16:23about. Um and and and uh so the but you
- 1:16:27know, I'm sorry I got myself distracted
- 1:16:29because I I live civic outlaws sorts of
- 1:16:32things just about all day long. and
- 1:16:34we're creating this modern law ecosystem
- 1:16:37that is going to be a and it's and we're
- 1:16:40very very close. We're we're starting it
- 1:16:43and but we're still doing a little bit
- 1:16:45of research on it and and it allows for
- 1:16:49uh
- 1:16:50well I'll tell that story another time.
- 1:16:52Let's get back to to to Mark Carney, but
- 1:16:54I definitely want to share that with you
- 1:16:56and and I think that on Wednesdays
- 1:16:58especially when people are listening to
- 1:17:01damn radio in larger numbers. I don't
- 1:17:04because it's a big day because it's a
- 1:17:06big day. people start listening um in
- 1:17:08the you know early in the mornings and
- 1:17:10uh uh I mean not that I have a decent
- 1:17:12amount of people that listen to me
- 1:17:13anyway you know I don't have any trouble
- 1:17:15with that and uh I do it [laughter] I
- 1:17:18would babble anyway cuz I like doing it
- 1:17:21and uh um I I hope that you also
- 1:17:26appreciate where I'm coming from and
- 1:17:28this Mark Carney thing from today and
- 1:17:30what America is doing and where I wish
- 1:17:32to focus back to aside from getting
- 1:17:35distracted acted like I often do from my
- 1:17:38own uh my own when my brain wanders I go
- 1:17:42with it. I just go with it. And uh sorry
- 1:17:45that sometimes leads to a bit of a
- 1:17:46disjointed show and but civic outlaws is
- 1:17:49very important to me and civic outlaws
- 1:17:51is something that is going to be a huge
- 1:17:54endeavor and what's charity 501c3. We
- 1:17:57got all of our ocu uh documentation and
- 1:18:00we are ready to go. And uh we are almost
- 1:18:03done with uh pulling the trigger and if
- 1:18:05you want to be a civic warrior, you can
- 1:18:07uh support us. And uh all of that is
- 1:18:11like 98% live. We just have a little bit
- 1:18:15of fine-tuning to go.
- 1:18:18And I think it's important because when
- 1:18:20we look at the world as it is today,
- 1:18:25government overreach is a fact of life.
- 1:18:28What Trump did in Venezuela, what he's
- 1:18:31planning to do, and and I for me it's a
- 1:18:33foregone conclusion. He already said it,
- 1:18:36you know, one way or the other, we're
- 1:18:37taking Greenland. You know, we're going
- 1:18:39to come in and, you know, if we have to
- 1:18:41murder 56,000 Greenlanders, well, so be
- 1:18:44it. It's America. It's America's
- 1:18:47destiny, you know, we're we're manifest
- 1:18:49destiny to uh own Greenland, I suppose.
- 1:18:53And uh what are we gonna do about Canada
- 1:18:55with Mark Carney saying what he just
- 1:18:57said? He said that because Trump is
- 1:19:00supposed to speak today, too. Or is it
- 1:19:02tomorrow? Trump's speaking this week. I
- 1:19:05in uh uh we will I'm I'm sure if I don't
- 1:19:08Jr. will share the uh entire uh
- 1:19:12statement of Trumpster uh because Davos
- 1:19:15is a big deal and I would love to be at
- 1:19:17the World Economic Forum. You know, I'd
- 1:19:19love to be a fly on the wall in there
- 1:19:21and to talk to some of the interstellar
- 1:19:24levels of people in there. But Mark
- 1:19:26Carney said what many people, including
- 1:19:28me, are thinking that you don't just
- 1:19:32create rules for others that you don't
- 1:19:34have to live by. And uh and and I see
- 1:19:38how quiet he was about the fact that he
- 1:19:41he admitted it. He said, you know, we
- 1:19:42don't always follow them ourselves
- 1:19:44basically because the US has led it. And
- 1:19:47you know, if you agree, well, you don't
- 1:19:50say anything. And we agreed with pushing
- 1:19:53Russia to the brink. We agreed with
- 1:19:56creating an enemy that didn't exist in
- 1:19:59Russia, but now we're often joining
- 1:20:02forces with China. You know, in the
- 1:20:06Arctic Circle,
- 1:20:07think about it. If Canada joined Russia
- 1:20:10and China and India
- 1:20:13in creating something, what would that
- 1:20:15do to the US?
- 1:20:17I mean, frankly, creating it as a
- 1:20:20military sort of
- 1:20:24existential threat to America, which I
- 1:20:26disbelieve, I think is a foolish move. I
- 1:20:31think it would have been and maybe you
- 1:20:33know I've had people tell me a lot of
- 1:20:35people and and you know I I don't
- 1:20:38believe in this type of I don't believe
- 1:20:41in positionbased bargaining which Trump
- 1:20:44truly believes in. He sets positions
- 1:20:48that he doesn't believe in but he sets
- 1:20:51the position. The position is we have to
- 1:20:54control the Arctic and in order to do
- 1:20:56that we must have Greenland. But he
- 1:20:58don't believe that. He's lying to you.
- 1:21:01He believes that we need to have a
- 1:21:03strong presence in Greenland and we need
- 1:21:06to up our military presence. Maybe build
- 1:21:09a huge base up there so that we have a
- 1:21:13foothold. Give us a 500year lease to the
- 1:21:16tip of Greenland so that we control a
- 1:21:19huge portion on either end of the North
- 1:21:22American continent. One in one in uh
- 1:21:25Alaska and one in Greenland. I could
- 1:21:28support that.
- 1:21:30I don't like lying to get there. I am an
- 1:21:33interestbased
- 1:21:35bargainer. I've given you this theory
- 1:21:37before. I believe in interestbased
- 1:21:39negotiation, not positionbased. Trump is
- 1:21:42a true positionbased. That's all he
- 1:21:45does. He makes uh outlandish demands
- 1:21:49that he doesn't think are now
- 1:21:51outlandish. That doesn't mean he won't
- 1:21:53use the military to enforce it. You
- 1:21:55know, he he like Carney said, he's
- 1:21:56seizing power and he is not living by
- 1:22:00rules. He believes and he has said it.
- 1:22:03The the the uh what the hell is his his
- 1:22:06economic dude's name? Marco Rubio's even
- 1:22:08saying it that and there's [laughter]
- 1:22:11his his morons uh uh Steven Miller is
- 1:22:16that are that are spouting this crap off
- 1:22:19uh that we're taking it regardless and
- 1:22:22it might makes right is what they're
- 1:22:24saying. I don't agree with that from a
- 1:22:28fundamental point of view. From also a
- 1:22:30fundamental point of view, I do not
- 1:22:33believe the lie that is being spewed
- 1:22:36about that Russia and China plan to
- 1:22:40seize Greenland in the future.
- 1:22:43That's nuts. That is propaganda to get
- 1:22:47people to say, "Oh yeah, existential
- 1:22:50threat with an existential threat." you
- 1:22:53know, where some lone
- 1:22:56geopolitical commentator said, you know,
- 1:23:00what if China and Russia got together
- 1:23:03and took Greenland? Wouldn't that suck?
- 1:23:07And you can [laughter] and then taking
- 1:23:10that statement made by one lone wolf
- 1:23:13from far away with a with a paper
- 1:23:18to sell and turning it into your
- 1:23:23I don't know your uh belief structure
- 1:23:26for seizing a sovereign state, another
- 1:23:30sovereign state. I think the seizing of
- 1:23:33of Venezuela
- 1:23:35was a huge mistake and a wakeup call to
- 1:23:38the rest of the world that rules
- 1:23:40absolutely
- 1:23:42do not count. If they can do that to
- 1:23:45Maduro, who else can they do it to?
- 1:23:48Which, by the way, is the only reason
- 1:23:52that Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham
- 1:23:55convinced Trump that this was the right
- 1:23:57move. I don't you know and
- 1:24:02they lost the globalist elite people
- 1:24:05lost in Ukraine.
- 1:24:08They've lost. They they they couldn't
- 1:24:10put up. So they had to shut up. So the
- 1:24:14backup plan is Jesus. We got to seize
- 1:24:17oil in uh you know we've lost over
- 1:24:20there. We have to seize you know we're
- 1:24:23not pushing Russia down. We need to
- 1:24:25focus on our own hemisphere. That I
- 1:24:28agree with. I think we ought to pull
- 1:24:30back all the the 750
- 1:24:32military bases around the planet. I'm
- 1:24:34very much against the middle states, the
- 1:24:37carnese of the world creating a
- 1:24:42I don't know what a core some of what he
- 1:24:46said. You know, we have to we can't each
- 1:24:49individually
- 1:24:51beg for recognition from the hedgeimon.
- 1:24:54We have to work together
- 1:24:58to resist such things like stealing
- 1:25:03Greenland. You know, I think the if you
- 1:25:07call it a positionbased bargaining that
- 1:25:09what Trump is doing in Greenland is a
- 1:25:12mistake. And in this one, they should be
- 1:25:16interestbased bargaining and not setting
- 1:25:20ridiculous positions that you know
- 1:25:22you're not going to stick with. And uh I
- 1:25:25mean, imagine you're in a car accident.
- 1:25:27You got a little fender bender and you
- 1:25:30and you I don't know, your back is sore
- 1:25:32and you go to a chiropractor for a
- 1:25:34couple of weeks.
- 1:25:36The positionbased
- 1:25:38bargaining is knowing that you got a
- 1:25:40million dollar policy from the guy who
- 1:25:43rearended you and making a position that
- 1:25:46your claim is worth a million bucks. Why
- 1:25:49is it worth a million bucks? Because
- 1:25:51there's a possibility you might get a
- 1:25:54million bucks if you were really
- 1:25:56injured. Does that mean you're going to
- 1:25:57get the million bucks? Absolutely not.
- 1:26:01That's positionbased bargaining.
- 1:26:04Interestbased bargaining would be, you
- 1:26:06know,
- 1:26:07I got these damn chiropractor bills that
- 1:26:10have never been paid and I got some
- 1:26:12collection agency calling me. I want
- 1:26:14these to quit calling.
- 1:26:17The the pos the positionbased bargaining
- 1:26:20of saying, "Well, they owe me a million
- 1:26:21bucks." Isn't going to get that
- 1:26:23resolved. But the interest base is,
- 1:26:25look, I really my interest I just want
- 1:26:28these people to quit calling me. you
- 1:26:30gotta reasonably settle this claim for
- 1:26:32me. And I'm not asking for a million
- 1:26:34bucks, but geez, how about 30,000? 10
- 1:26:39for the 10 for the chiropractor, 10 for
- 1:26:42the lawyer, and 10 for me. If you do
- 1:26:44that, I'm out. And generally that that
- 1:26:48that interest, those interests, you had
- 1:26:52to hire a lawyer because they won't pay
- 1:26:54you. You know, they'll give you $1,000
- 1:26:57if you don't have a lawyer. So you had
- 1:26:59to have a lawyer. That lawyer costs
- 1:27:01money. That increased the value of your
- 1:27:03claim. It remember the the positionbased
- 1:27:07bargaining is the same in the other
- 1:27:09direction. By the way, the insurance
- 1:27:12company is going, "Oh, these people are
- 1:27:13all fakes. We're not paying them. You
- 1:27:15know, this claim is worth 5,000 bucks."
- 1:27:17Yeah. But the danger is the lawyer talks
- 1:27:20them into creating a claim that's worth
- 1:27:22250 to 500 because there's a million
- 1:27:25bucks out there. That's a potential
- 1:27:28payout. That is your theory. And I
- 1:27:30believe that Trump and company are very
- 1:27:33seriously creating an error in the way
- 1:27:38they approached Venezuela and what they
- 1:27:42are currently doing about Greenland. And
- 1:27:45I'm very eager to hear Trump's full
- 1:27:48speech at the Davos Economic Forum. I
- 1:27:51will hopefully share that with you on my
- 1:27:53last day of the week tomorrow morning. I
- 1:27:56I I hope to pay attention to that. Well,
- 1:27:58I hope you've enjoyed the program. This
- 1:28:00is International Flavor. I am Samuel
- 1:28:03Trap. Come to you live every morning
- 1:28:06from the Lake Ozark Real Estate Studio
- 1:28:10Monday through Thursday.
- 1:28:12You can follow us at damradio.comlive
- 1:28:16and listen to the other great programs.
- 1:28:18Uh, my programs are always stewarded at
- 1:28:21internationalflavor.com.
- 1:28:23Usually within a half an hour to an hour
- 1:28:25of the program, I get them uploaded out
- 1:28:27there and you can always go back and
- 1:28:29listen to uh things that I've had to say
- 1:28:31at internationalflavor.com.
- 1:28:34And I hope you listen to us. Today is
- 1:28:36the biggest day in radio. It's uh
- 1:28:39Wednesday and uh next week will be
- 1:28:42another Wednesday which will be the
- 1:28:44biggest day in radio. And [laughter] so
- 1:28:47this is the biggest day in internet
- 1:28:49radio, let's say. And you can always
- 1:28:51listen and find our schedule at
- 1:28:53damradio.com/scched.
- 1:28:56And I hope that you do. It has been a
- 1:28:59very pleasant morning. I hope you have a
- 1:29:01great mid Missouri uh day. Looks like we
- 1:29:04have a snowstorm coming for the weekend
- 1:29:06is what I've been hearing. But those
- 1:29:08things are always lies. You know, it
- 1:29:10never goes as as they say. They're
- 1:29:13hedging their bets, too. That's just
- 1:29:15what people do. I believe in direct uh
- 1:29:19knowledge. So, you know, uh there's the
- 1:29:22joke that Wilt Chamberlain allegedly uh
- 1:29:25fan went up to him and said, "Uh, hey,
- 1:29:28how's the weather up there?" And he
- 1:29:30said, "It's raining." And spit on him.
- 1:29:32That's reality, folks. Actually, I don't
- 1:29:34know if that's reality. That could be a
- 1:29:36complete lie, but I heard that joke
- 1:29:38years ago and thought it was appropriate
- 1:29:40for today's program. Thanks for joining
- 1:29:43me. I hope you join again tomorrow and
- 1:29:46every Monday through Thursday.
