- 0:15Chaplain Terry: I am.
- 0:16Chaplain Terry: I'm gonna read a a chapter out of Isaiah that I really have liked, and I'm gonna tell you a little story.
- 0:25Chaplain Terry: Isaiah fifty five invitation to the thirsty.
- 0:32Chaplain Terry: Come all you who are thirsty, come to the waters, and you who have run you have run, and you who have no money, come buy and eat.
- 0:44Chaplain Terry: Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
- 0:48Chaplain Terry: Why spend money on what is not bread and your labor on what does not satisfy?
- 0:53Chaplain Terry: Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the riches of fare.
- 1:02Chaplain Terry: Give ear and come to me, that your soul may live.
- 1:07Chaplain Terry: I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
- 1:14Chaplain Terry: See I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander of the peoples.
- 1:20Chaplain Terry: Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations that do not know you will listen, will hasten to you, because of the Lord your God, the holy one of Israel, for he has showed you his splendor.
- 1:34Chaplain Terry: Seek the Lord while he may be found, call on him while he may be near.
- 1:39Chaplain Terry: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the evil man is thought.
- 1:43Chaplain Terry: Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will be fartly, he will be freely pardoned.
- 1:53Chaplain Terry: Oh here we go.
- 1:55Chaplain Terry: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
- 2:00Chaplain Terry: As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts and your thoughts.
- 2:09Speaker: And I think about over in first Corinthians.
- 2:12Speaker: Jesus Christ is made unto me wisdom, righteous, sanctification and redemption.
- 2:18Speaker: This Old Testament has been fulfilled.
- 2:21Speaker: I have the mind of Christ.
- 2:23Speaker: The Holy Spirit dwells inside me.
- 2:25Speaker: Isn't that neat?
- 2:27Speaker: Picking up in verse ten.
- 2:31Speaker: As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth, and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields and seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes forth from my mouth.
- 2:49Speaker: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire, and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
- 2:57Speaker: You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace.
- 3:01Speaker: The mountains and the hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
- 3:08Speaker: Instead of the thorn bush will grow the pine tree, and instead of the briars the myrtle will grow.
- 3:19Speaker: This will be for the Lord's renown, for an everlasting sign which will not be destroyed.
- 3:26Speaker: I was working in Colorado Springs and I had a call from for those of you who don't know, I I used to do commercial refrigeration.
- 3:36Speaker: And it was in Canyon City, and it was a nice day.
- 3:41Speaker: Sort of I think sort of fall, cool but not cold.
- 3:46Speaker: Warm but not hot.
- 3:48Speaker: It was a nice day.
- 3:49Speaker: And I'd drive down the road and I'm singing praises to the Lord and praying to the Lord while I'm driving.
- 3:55Speaker: And the Holy Spirit speaks to me and says, Terry, do you remember when Jesus went into Jerusalem and the Pharisees were telling them that they couldn't praise the name of Jesus?
- 4:08Speaker: Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.
- 4:11Speaker: And Jesus said, if we don't do this, the rocks, stones themselves are going to cry out.
- 4:17Speaker: So the Lord spoke to me, Terry, how would you like to hear the praises of the earth that come up to me 24 hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
- 4:30Speaker: That sounds pretty neat, Lord.
- 4:33Speaker: I like that.
- 4:34Speaker: Okay.
- 4:35Speaker: Pull over the side of the road.
- 4:37Speaker: You don't want to be dry when you do this.
- 4:39Speaker: So I pulled over to the side of the road and a little pull-off spot there.
- 4:43Speaker: They have pull off spots in those mountains where you can pull off and look at scenery and stuff.
- 4:48Speaker: So I did.
- 4:49Speaker: And I sat there a few minutes, and the Lord said, All right, get still, get quiet.
- 4:54Speaker: So I did, and just a few seconds, maybe maybe a minute of quietly praising the Lord.
- 5:03Speaker: The Lord opened up my spiritual eyes and my spiritual ears, and I heard the praise of the creation going up to heaven.
- 5:13Speaker: It was something else.
- 5:15Speaker: It was something else.
- 5:18Speaker: And after fifty some odd years, I can still recall it and I and I and I listen to it occasionally again when I get down to the press.
- 5:28Speaker: Well, Terry, how can you do that?
- 5:32Speaker: And we know the stones don't sing.
- 5:34Speaker: Oh, do we?
- 5:36Speaker: We don't know anything.
- 5:38Speaker: We know Jesus is Lord.
- 5:40Speaker: We know God with God everything's possible.
- 5:42Speaker: I'm telling you I heard the earth and the praise, the trees, the rocks, the dirt, everything.
- 5:48Speaker: Give praise and shout out to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 5:51Speaker: Jesus is Lord.
- 5:53Speaker: So get out in the forest, get out in the woods, get out in the backyard, look at the stars, look at the moon, look at the sands on the sea.
- 6:03Speaker: Get quiet before the Lord and realize you'd like to hear the sound you'd like to hear the praise and worship of the Lord also.
- 6:12Speaker: You have a blessed day in Jesus' name.
- 6:16Speaker: Amen.
- 6:17Speaker: My book is out the not that's the website.
- 6:23Speaker: My book is out Something to Think About Volume one.

- 7:00Speaker: You click on that button and it takes show you a picture of the book.
- 7:04Speaker: Or just Google the book.
- 7:05Speaker: It's out all over the place.
- 7:06Speaker: I'm doing book signings.
- 7:09Speaker: I'm having a good time.
- 7:11Speaker: And I just wanted to share a little podcast with you.
- 7:15Speaker: I'm gonna try to increase these and see if I could help others praise the Lord and come to terms with Jesus Christ.
- 7:25Speaker: You have a blessed day in Jesus' name.
- 7:29Speaker: And the Lord bless you and keep you.
- 7:31Speaker: Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you.
- 7:34Speaker: The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace and give you peace in the mighty name of Jesus.
- 7:41Speaker: Amen and Amen.
- 7:44Speaker: Thank you.
