- 0:11Speaker 1: Resign.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Father, we gave you all the praise, We gave you
- 0:20Speaker 2: all the glory in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- 0:26Speaker 2: You may all be seated and let's put our Handscina
- 0:30Speaker 2: from Apostle Grace Slovenia. Such a prophetic word for this time.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Man.
- 0:43Speaker 2: All right, a second session which would be a final session,
- 0:47Speaker 2: a possible back in the evening with next weeker. Also,
- 0:55Speaker 2: I need to introduce our friend from Ka Nairobi, care
- 1:01Speaker 2: Bishop Killer from naropakare message to your faith. His flight
- 1:12Speaker 2: was delayed so he landed her for so we thank
- 1:15Speaker 2: you for your sacrifice that I hear right this morning.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Amen, all right, our next bigure Apostle Joshua Sellman. I
- 1:30Speaker 1: don't want to replate to what I said.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yesterday, but after his administration, you understand what I say,
- 1:39Speaker 2: all right. He's bringing a perspective to the message in
- 1:46Speaker 2: this country that is very unique and you can't. God
- 1:54Speaker 2: puts people in certain locations so that they can interpret that.
- 2:01Speaker 2: You know, it's called the manifold wisdom of God. So
- 2:04Speaker 2: the wisdom of God has many sides to it, and
- 2:07Speaker 2: so he's bringing aside and dimension of God's with the
- 2:09Speaker 2: wisdom to this generation. That is very bold. That message
- 2:16Speaker 2: he prettiest there was a bold message, right. He crossed boundaries.
- 2:21Speaker 2: You know, when you get to a point you look
- 2:24Speaker 2: at it and say, let's not say he broke the
- 2:27Speaker 2: boundaries there, and he broke it in accuracy in the spirit,
- 2:31Speaker 2: and you should listen to that message over and over all. Right,
- 2:34Speaker 2: you should listen to that message of Hanover because that
- 2:36Speaker 2: message in itself has real healing in it.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Aha. It explains a lot of things. What he said
- 2:46Speaker 1: in passing is very true.
- 2:49Speaker 2: COVID made some people stop coming to church who've always
- 2:52Speaker 2: wanted to stop coming, and so when there was COVID,
- 2:58Speaker 2: they just took it as an exit. It's because they
- 3:01Speaker 2: got to a point in their work with God that
- 3:05Speaker 2: some things are not being explained to them that they
- 3:07Speaker 2: were experiencing. And he went into that dimension there all
- 3:11Speaker 2: right and and said it. And the reason why he
- 3:15Speaker 2: can speak like that is because of his background from
- 3:17Speaker 2: where he's coming from.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I won't say more than that.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Let's writ save it and welcome Apostle Joshua Selvi.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Allelujah, hallelujah, good morning. As oppose to thank you again,
- 3:45Speaker 3: thank you sincerely, and I want us ton and appreciate
- 3:50Speaker 3: appost to grace.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Lu Bega, I didn't. I sadly, I thought I'd be
- 3:56Speaker 1: able to follow his teaching. I always like to connect
- 3:59Speaker 1: with whoever speaks before me. But then I can assure
- 4:02Speaker 1: you that you were blessed. Am I right on that
- 4:06Speaker 1: blessings to him again. Let's give him a big handclap
- 4:10Speaker 1: and then it's good to see you, Reverend Quila.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Thank you who really honor yourself in the name.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Of Jesus Christ. Let's lift our hands one more time
- 4:23Speaker 1: to the one who grants wisdom and the one who
- 4:27Speaker 1: grants grace. Let's ask him to speak to us this
- 4:30Speaker 1: morning and challenge our hearts in the name of Jesus.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Remember the Bible says for everyone that asked receiveth Thank
- 4:43Speaker 1: you Jesus for understanding. Let your spearit spearit of we.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Rest on me, rest on me. Let your speed, spirit
- 5:09Speaker 1: of wisdom, rest on me, rest on.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Me, oh, rest on me, oh, rest on me. Oh,
- 5:29Speaker 4: rest on me, Spirit of wisdom, rest on me.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Let's your power, Holy ghost power, rest on me, rest
- 5:44Speaker 1: on me. Let's your power, Holy egos power.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Rest on me, rest on me.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Oh, rest on me, oh, rest on me. Oh, rest
- 6:09Speaker 4: on me, Holy.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Egost, power rest me. Let your power power to prosper.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Rest on me, rest on me.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Let your power power to prosper me.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Oh, rest on me, Oh, rest on me, Oh, rest
- 6:48Speaker 4: on me, power to prospers me.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Following the name of Jesus, we pray that us be
- 7:00Speaker 1: the kings, would not just be in the wisdom of men,
- 7:03Speaker 1: but in the power of God. I pray that you
- 7:06Speaker 1: grant us understanding and cause us to pray and prevail
- 7:12Speaker 1: in Jesus' name, we pray, Amen and Amen. I felt
- 7:17Speaker 1: stirred in my heart while preparing for this session that
- 7:23Speaker 1: will be doing a lot of praying within the time
- 7:25Speaker 1: that we have. I just sensed my spirit that God
- 7:30Speaker 1: truly wants to release something tonight, Alleluiah. And I believe
- 7:35Speaker 1: that God is building momentum through all the teachings the
- 7:39Speaker 1: morning as we just prepare for a very serious release tonight. Allelujah,
- 7:46Speaker 1: please be seated. Would pray once and again within the
- 7:50Speaker 1: course of the time that I have, and I hope
- 7:52Speaker 1: that you do not mind. In the name of Jesus Christ, Alleluiah.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Challengels in the area of prayer this morning. Mark Chapter
- 8:07Speaker 1: eleven twenty three and twenty four. Jesus was teaching. He
- 8:11Speaker 1: used the event cursing the victory, and then he began
- 8:16Speaker 1: to establish the matters of faith. Twenty three says verily,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I say unto you that whatsoever that whosoever shall say
- 8:28Speaker 1: to this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast
- 8:33Speaker 1: into the sea. And shalt not doubt in his heart,
- 8:37Speaker 1: but believe that those things which he saith shall come
- 8:40Speaker 1: to pass. The Bible says he shall have whatsoever he saith.
- 8:45Speaker 1: The next verse twenty four, therefore, I say unto you,
- 8:50Speaker 1: what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that
- 9:00Speaker 1: that ye receive them, and thou shall have them. So
- 9:04Speaker 1: we see a straight line connecting desires, prayers, believing, receiving,
- 9:11Speaker 1: and having. It is the complete faith equation that Jesus gives.
- 9:17Speaker 1: There desires, prayer, believing while you pray, receiving while you pray,
- 9:24Speaker 1: then having as a manifestation, and so you cannot take
- 9:28Speaker 1: prayer out of the faith equation. It is a vital
- 9:32Speaker 1: component in the faith equation. Jesus himself is teaching, and
- 9:37Speaker 1: he says that the only way desires can become your having,
- 9:41Speaker 1: your manifestation is that some way in the faith equation,
- 9:46Speaker 1: prayer has a role to play. Are well together, very
- 9:49Speaker 1: very powerful James Chapter five, will read thirteen, then would
- 9:53Speaker 1: jump to sixteen. He says, is any man among you
- 9:59Speaker 1: are lickted? The word afflicted there does not just mean
- 10:03Speaker 1: plagued with infirmity alone experiencing any kind of constraint that
- 10:09Speaker 1: impedes you working in victory. He says, let him such
- 10:14Speaker 1: an individual. The moment you come into an awareness that
- 10:18Speaker 1: there is any kind of constraint that can spy upon
- 10:22Speaker 1: your liberty in Christ, the apostle recommends that your first
- 10:27Speaker 1: part of call is to pray Allelujah, but not any
- 10:32Speaker 1: kind of prayer. There is a recommended prayer that deals
- 10:35Speaker 1: with this situation. Verse sixteen. He now says the effectual
- 10:41Speaker 1: Please give it to us, It says, confess your fault
- 10:43Speaker 1: to one another and pray for one another that you
- 10:46Speaker 1: may be healed. Then he says, the effectual, favent prayer
- 10:53Speaker 1: of a righteous man. As they let much, the effectual
- 11:00Speaker 1: furtherent prayer of a righteous man. The Bible says, have
- 11:06Speaker 1: they let much? And I just want to charge our
- 11:08Speaker 1: hearts along this line. So prayer is a major component
- 11:13Speaker 1: in manifesting Bible faith. It is very important that we
- 11:17Speaker 1: establish this prayer is a major component in manifesting Bible faith.
- 11:24Speaker 1: That anyone, any believer in Christ, whom weill and must
- 11:29Speaker 1: manifest Bible faith. It is important for you to know
- 11:32Speaker 1: that prayer is part of the faith equation that brings
- 11:37Speaker 1: manifestation to the things that we desire. Are we together
- 11:41Speaker 1: very quickly just for our understanding. According to scripture, prayer
- 11:47Speaker 1: has four major assignments in the life of a believer,
- 11:51Speaker 1: and if you allow me just run through them. I'm
- 11:53Speaker 1: not teaching on them, but just for understanding so that
- 11:56Speaker 1: we understand the things that I say afterwards. There are
- 11:59Speaker 1: four or biblical assignments of prayer. It's important that you
- 12:05Speaker 1: know to what end the believer is mandated to pray.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Most people pray, but they really do not know the
- 12:12Speaker 1: assignment of prayer. It's an uncomfortable truth. But prayer is
- 12:19Speaker 1: not the key to everything, but prayer must be involved
- 12:23Speaker 1: in everything. The assumption that prayer is the key to
- 12:26Speaker 1: everything simply because of the role it carries, it's not accurate.
- 12:31Speaker 1: We are emotionally connected to prayer and Africa for a
- 12:34Speaker 1: very good reason. But it's important to know that as
- 12:37Speaker 1: potent as prayer is, it is one of the keys
- 12:41Speaker 1: of the kingdom. But the unique nature of the prayer
- 12:45Speaker 1: ministry is that when it is not the key, it
- 12:48Speaker 1: becomes the hand that holds the key. So it is
- 12:51Speaker 1: involved in every aspect of our lives. Away together, the
- 12:56Speaker 1: Bible says, be anxious for nothing. Then it says in
- 12:59Speaker 1: every so there is no matter in a man's life
- 13:02Speaker 1: that prayer becomes unnecessary. However, there are keys. It connects
- 13:07Speaker 1: to other components in the kingdom to produce victory. If
- 13:10Speaker 1: we're together, say amen, right, So fur assignments of prayer
- 13:15Speaker 1: very quickly. Number one. The first assignment of prayer, which
- 13:19Speaker 1: is a most superior assignment of prayer, is for your
- 13:23Speaker 1: growth and transformation. Most believers do not understand this aspect
- 13:28Speaker 1: of prayer. It is the reason why our prayer lives
- 13:32Speaker 1: are stunted in many ways because the most superior assignment
- 13:37Speaker 1: of prayer, it's not just for needs and petitions. It's
- 13:40Speaker 1: a system that was designed for our growth and our transformation.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Look nine twenty nine. The Bible says, as he prayed,
- 13:49Speaker 1: the fashion of his countenance was altered and his raiment
- 13:53Speaker 1: became white and glistering. When we pray, we evolve. When
- 13:58Speaker 1: we pray, we become. When we pray, there is a
- 14:01Speaker 1: transition that happens worst in the spirit that a week
- 14:05Speaker 1: you can become a strong you. Are we together if
- 14:08Speaker 1: herefo you can become a bold you. There is an
- 14:11Speaker 1: exchange that happens in the place of prayer, and most
- 14:18Speaker 1: people have not understood this dimension of prayer. Number two.
- 14:21Speaker 1: The second assignment of prayer, according to scripture is to
- 14:26Speaker 1: make requests and obtain promises. We considered a bit of
- 14:31Speaker 1: that in passing yesterday. Prayer is a platform to make
- 14:36Speaker 1: requests and to obtain promises. Allelujah. The Bible says in Philippians,
- 14:43Speaker 1: chapter four and verse six. We read that I just
- 14:46Speaker 1: quoted that not too long. It says, be anxious for nothing,
- 14:50Speaker 1: but in everything by prayer, that platform of prayer and
- 14:54Speaker 1: supplication with thanksgiving. It says, let your requests be made known.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Assume they are made known. Let your request be made known. Allelujah.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Number three. The third assignment of prayer, according to scripture,
- 15:10Speaker 1: is for decrease and establishing spiritual realities. We use prayer
- 15:17Speaker 1: as the platform to make decrease, to create possibilities, to
- 15:22Speaker 1: establish spiritual realities, and we still together Job chapter twenty
- 15:26Speaker 1: two and verse twenty eight. It says, and thou shalt decree,
- 15:31Speaker 1: not assume, not wish. Thou shalt decree a thing, and
- 15:36Speaker 1: the thing that you decree, not the thing that you
- 15:38Speaker 1: want or wish, shall be established onto thee. Thou shall
- 15:44Speaker 1: decree a thing, and it shall be established onto thee.
- 15:49Speaker 1: The fourth assignment of prayer, according to scripture, is for
- 15:54Speaker 1: warfare and intercession. This is a dimension of prayer, warfare
- 16:00Speaker 1: and intercession. This is very important. The Bible already told
- 16:05Speaker 1: us in John chapter ten and verse ten that Satan
- 16:08Speaker 1: is called the thief and that he comes with the singular.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Goal of stealing, killing, and destruction.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Apostle Peter charged us in First Bitter five and verse
- 16:19Speaker 1: eight to be sober and to be vigilant. He says,
- 16:23Speaker 1: for your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion, walked
- 16:28Speaker 1: about seeking whom he may DeVore. Allelujah. And then, of
- 16:35Speaker 1: course Ezekiel chapter twenty two, I believe verse thirty. He says,
- 16:39Speaker 1: and I sought for a man I like that scripture
- 16:42Speaker 1: among them, that he should make up the hedge and
- 16:46Speaker 1: stand in the gap before me for the land that
- 16:49Speaker 1: I should not destroy it. But I found none. So
- 16:52Speaker 1: prayer becomes a prophetic platform for warfare. What is warfare
- 16:57Speaker 1: engaging through the understanding of script and establishing the victory
- 17:02Speaker 1: that is in Christ. You see that now over the
- 17:06Speaker 1: situations that attempt to fight and plague your authority in Christ.
- 17:13Speaker 1: It's important that you understand this. But you see when
- 17:16Speaker 1: it has to do with prayer. There are various kinds
- 17:20Speaker 1: of prayer that the Bible identifies. I'm not going into
- 17:23Speaker 1: that this is a charge this morning so that we pray.
- 17:26Speaker 1: The Bible tells us there is something called praying. Amiss am,
- 17:30Speaker 1: I right on that They are all kinds of prayer,
- 17:36Speaker 1: and the Bible is very clear as to the fact
- 17:38Speaker 1: that not every kind of prayer produces power. There is
- 17:43Speaker 1: a recommended kind of prayer and a pattern of prayer
- 17:47Speaker 1: that produces power. Allelujah. Two conditions, according to James chapter
- 17:53Speaker 1: five and verse sixteen, that must be captured in the
- 17:56Speaker 1: prayer of the righteous to produce power. I want to
- 18:00Speaker 1: please listen now. There are two important components, as revealed
- 18:06Speaker 1: in chapter sixteen of James five, that if and when
- 18:10Speaker 1: they are not captured in your prayer, your prayer cannot
- 18:14Speaker 1: produce power. Number one, the Bible says, the effectual pavant.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I like to reverse it for the sake of our understanding.
- 18:24Speaker 1: So Number one, the Bible talks about phavncy, that the
- 18:30Speaker 1: prayer of the believer that produces power, power to influence,
- 18:35Speaker 1: power to manipulate, power to establish according to divine order,
- 18:41Speaker 1: must be prayer that is pavant. What does it mean
- 18:44Speaker 1: to be pavan? It means from the heart. It means
- 18:48Speaker 1: with zeal, with passion, and with truthfulness. Are we together
- 18:53Speaker 1: very important? Jeremiah twenty nine and verse thirteen. In the
- 18:57Speaker 1: dealings of God with men, we learn from sc and
- 19:00Speaker 1: even from experience, that God seems to respond to passion
- 19:05Speaker 1: and sincerity and hunger. It seems to me like the
- 19:09Speaker 1: spirit of God does not pay so much respect to
- 19:12Speaker 1: laxity and carelessness. God wants to see intention and fire.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Even in error. He respects the passion and corrects you.
- 19:22Speaker 1: There is nowhere God sees passion that he ignores. Thou
- 19:26Speaker 1: son of David, have messy on me. I don't know
- 19:29Speaker 1: whether what I'm doing is right or wrong, but I'm
- 19:31Speaker 1: not going to let you go if I may but
- 19:33Speaker 1: touch the hem of his garment. Every time God sees passion,
- 19:37Speaker 1: he interpretses as the person being serious, even if in ignorance.
- 19:44Speaker 1: So the Bible says, the pathant away together the pavant
- 19:49Speaker 1: from the heart Jeremiah twenty nine thirteen. He says, and
- 19:53Speaker 1: you shall seek me and find me, when ye shall
- 19:58Speaker 1: search for me with all all your heart. There is
- 20:02Speaker 1: a level of seriousness and intention that must be invested
- 20:06Speaker 1: in the prayer of the righteous if it is to
- 20:09Speaker 1: produce power. Second Chronicles, chapter fifteen. Who read verse twelve,
- 20:14Speaker 1: then for time? Who jump to fifteen? It is God
- 20:18Speaker 1: helping us already, the Bible says, And there the nation
- 20:22Speaker 1: of Judah they entered into a covenant. Watch this to
- 20:26Speaker 1: seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their
- 20:30Speaker 1: heart and with all their soul. Notice now all of
- 20:36Speaker 1: them was plunged into that covenant verse sixteen, the Bible says,
- 20:40Speaker 1: And all Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had, Okay,
- 20:45Speaker 1: thank you give us verse fifteen. Just stop at verse fifteen,
- 20:48Speaker 1: did I give you? Yeah? Fifteen is fine? And all
- 20:51Speaker 1: Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had sworn with
- 20:55Speaker 1: all their heart, and the Bible says they sort him
- 20:58Speaker 1: with their whole desire. What was the result. He was
- 21:02Speaker 1: found of them, and the Lord gave them rest round
- 21:06Speaker 1: about the Bible says the pavant. You want the kind
- 21:11Speaker 1: of prayer that changes things, changes you, and through you
- 21:15Speaker 1: influences your world. It is prayer that comes with pavncy zeal, passion, seriousness.
- 21:23Speaker 1: There were people in the Bible God did not take serious,
- 21:26Speaker 1: and the Bible was not quiet about it. It was
- 21:31Speaker 1: clear that God did not have respect for them because
- 21:34Speaker 1: there was no fervancy and no passion invested in their commitment,
- 21:39Speaker 1: whether their relationship or their activity. The first of such expressions,
- 21:43Speaker 1: as we see, was in the life of Cain and Abel.
- 21:49Speaker 1: The nature of their investment in their sacrifices and the
- 21:54Speaker 1: violation of patterns or the observants of patterns led one
- 21:59Speaker 1: sacrifice to be accepted and the other God did not
- 22:02Speaker 1: have respect for it. Allelujah, phavency zeal and passion. The
- 22:10Speaker 1: Bible said this about Jesus himself, that the zeal of
- 22:13Speaker 1: the Lord's house had consumed him. Is that true? Yeah,
- 22:19Speaker 1: this is the reason why he frowns at lukewarmness. In
- 22:23Speaker 1: Revelations chapter two, he wrote to one of the churches,
- 22:27Speaker 1: I think to Ephisos, so they're about of Philadelphia, one
- 22:29Speaker 1: of them, and he says, I wish that thou art
- 22:33Speaker 1: hot or at least cold. If you are hot, I
- 22:36Speaker 1: commend you. If you are cold, I redeem you. But
- 22:39Speaker 1: now you are lookwarm you are you are in between.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Every time God saw people who swung to one side
- 22:46Speaker 1: of the pendulum, if they needed deliverance, they admitted it
- 22:50Speaker 1: and they were delivered. If they were vibrant and full
- 22:54Speaker 1: of fire, he would command them. But he always frowned
- 22:57Speaker 1: at people who were nonchalaned, passive, careless even about spiritual things.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Someone say Pavant one more time, say Pavant that when
- 23:07Speaker 1: believers pray, it is important for them to have this
- 23:10Speaker 1: understanding that they are not praying to an idol, and
- 23:14Speaker 1: all of them must be invested in that prayer.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Number two.
- 23:20Speaker 1: This is the part that I want us to look
- 23:22Speaker 1: closely to because in truthful submission, especially within the continent
- 23:28Speaker 1: of Africa, I think we've done a good job in
- 23:31Speaker 1: the area of fathency in prayer. The average African praise
- 23:35Speaker 1: with zeal with passion, or at least a semblance of it.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Am I right on that. Now, the second word that
- 23:45Speaker 1: must be captured in our prayer to produce power is
- 23:49Speaker 1: called effectual effectual. Lend me your attention. This is my message.
- 23:56Speaker 1: What does it mean to be effectual? Effectual means to
- 24:00Speaker 1: use or to engage in a way that avoids loss
- 24:05Speaker 1: or waste of time and energy. Listen carefully. Effectual by
- 24:12Speaker 1: definition means to use or to engage in a way
- 24:19Speaker 1: that avoids loss, l O, double s, or waste of
- 24:25Speaker 1: time and energy. So you are effectual to the degree
- 24:30Speaker 1: to which you are efficient and there is minimal loss
- 24:34Speaker 1: of energy, of time and resources. Am I right on that?
- 24:39Speaker 1: The Bible says the kind of prayer that produces power
- 24:43Speaker 1: in the spirit is prayer that is number one, favent
- 24:49Speaker 1: your heart, condition, your zeal, your passion. But number two,
- 24:54Speaker 1: it says it must be effectual. Believers are observed here
- 25:02Speaker 1: they pray fervent, sincere, heart felt prayers, but very few
- 25:08Speaker 1: believers pray effectual prayers. Remember, we're going to pray. What
- 25:15Speaker 1: then makes prayers effectual? It's important for us to understand
- 25:20Speaker 1: at what point do you know that your prayer is effectual?
- 25:25Speaker 1: Is it by the sound of your voice? Is it
- 25:27Speaker 1: by the motions that follow the prayers well intentioned as
- 25:31Speaker 1: they are? Let me show you from scripture. Are you ready?
- 25:37Speaker 1: What makes prayers effectual? Listen? Is the degree to which
- 25:42Speaker 1: the will of God is captured in that prayer. You
- 25:46Speaker 1: have to understand this, what makes prayer effectual. It's not
- 25:51Speaker 1: the sincerity of the one praying alone. The degree to
- 25:55Speaker 1: which the will of God is captured in that prayer
- 25:58Speaker 1: operation is what makes prayer effectual. So the Bible says,
- 26:04Speaker 1: the effectual phavent prayer of the righteous. If it is
- 26:09Speaker 1: truly effectual, and if it is truly phathant, the Bible says,
- 26:14Speaker 1: it produces power. Are we learning now? So what makes
- 26:22Speaker 1: prayer effectual? I repeat? Is the degree to which the
- 26:27Speaker 1: will of God is captured in that prayer. The word
- 26:32Speaker 1: compliancy of your prayer is what makes it powerful, not
- 26:37Speaker 1: just the spirituality of the activity of prayer. The degree
- 26:43Speaker 1: to which you are praying the will of God is
- 26:46Speaker 1: where the guarantee for answer and power lies in. If
- 26:50Speaker 1: you're understanding me, say amen, now write this down, please,
- 26:55Speaker 1: praying the will of God is beyond attaching scriptures to prayer.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Just listen carefully. You came to church praying. The will
- 27:09Speaker 1: of God is beyond attaching scripture because you will be
- 27:13Speaker 1: learning that the Bible is a prophetic book. You can
- 27:16Speaker 1: make it speak anything you want to hear. So just
- 27:19Speaker 1: because a scripture was connected to what you was saying
- 27:22Speaker 1: does not mean When Satan wanted to bring Jesus down,
- 27:27Speaker 1: he started by just talking casually. But when Jesus responded,
- 27:31Speaker 1: it is written from then on every other thing he said,
- 27:34Speaker 1: he connected it to scripture. Yet it was not the
- 27:36Speaker 1: will of God. Is that in your Bible? So just
- 27:40Speaker 1: because you found a scripture for what you want does
- 27:43Speaker 1: not mean it's the will of God. Say amen, I
- 27:56Speaker 1: promise that we're going to be praying. So we'll soon pray,
- 27:59Speaker 1: maybe in the next five minute, will pray and then
- 28:01Speaker 1: will continue. Are we learning now, yes, sir. So when
- 28:06Speaker 1: you pray consistent with the will of God, the Bible
- 28:11Speaker 1: leaves us with an assurance that your prayer becomes effectual, effectual, effectual.
- 28:20Speaker 1: This is very powerful. I will talk a bit about this,
- 28:23Speaker 1: but let's go to first John, chapter five and verse fourteen.
- 28:26Speaker 1: May I request that we read in concert when we
- 28:28Speaker 1: have it projected ready one to read. And this is
- 28:32Speaker 1: the confidence that we have in him that if we
- 28:37Speaker 1: ask anything according to his will, he heared us. One
- 28:42Speaker 1: more time, please, And this is the confidence that we
- 28:46Speaker 1: have in him, that if we ask anything according to
- 28:50Speaker 1: his will, he heared us verse fifteen. If you do
- 28:55Speaker 1: not mind, and if we know that he hears us
- 28:58Speaker 1: whatsoever we ask, we know that we have our petitions
- 29:03Speaker 1: that we desired of him, hallelujah. Efficient chapter five, when
- 29:09Speaker 1: we read fifteen to seventeen, Paul makes a profound statement
- 29:13Speaker 1: that I did not understand for many years. He said,
- 29:15Speaker 1: see that you walk sircumspectly. The word circumspect is accurately.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Are we together accurately? Not as fools, but as wise?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Where is the wisdom in that statement? He says, you
- 29:30Speaker 1: are wise when you redeem time, because the days are evil?
- 29:34Speaker 1: Are we together? Now? That means, according to Paul's understanding,
- 29:38Speaker 1: the most expensive commodity on earth is time. He says,
- 29:41Speaker 1: in all your living, do not waste time, and that
- 29:44Speaker 1: you must master the art of redeeming time and the
- 29:47Speaker 1: wisdom to redeem time according to this scripture. In verse seventeen,
- 29:51Speaker 1: he says, wherefore, being not on wise, but understanding.
- 29:56Speaker 5: What the will of God is.
- 29:58Speaker 1: That means the moment you know the will of God,
- 30:00Speaker 1: you redeem time because the time that you move in
- 30:04Speaker 1: error and confusion and then you return back is minimized.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Designing the will of God is one of the ways
- 30:10Speaker 1: we gain time, because you walk accurately knowing that you
- 30:14Speaker 1: are at the hearts the epicenter of the will of God,
- 30:18Speaker 1: and the apostle calls that, wisdom, are we together?
- 30:25Speaker 5: This is very important.
- 30:27Speaker 1: The entire kingdom system was built around the will of God.
- 30:31Speaker 1: It is important that we understand this, believers, The entire
- 30:36Speaker 1: system of the kingdom was built around the will of God.
- 30:39Speaker 1: When Jesus was teaching what we call the Lord's Prayer,
- 30:42Speaker 1: he says, when you pray, you pray that your kingdom come.
- 30:46Speaker 1: And then it says Thy will be done in earth
- 30:51Speaker 1: as it is in heaven. So you would notice that
- 30:53Speaker 1: the entire economy of heaven revolves around the will of God.
- 30:58Speaker 1: In fact, is the assignment of the power of God
- 31:02Speaker 1: to maintain the will of God in the life of
- 31:06Speaker 1: the believer and across the cosmos. When the will of
- 31:09Speaker 1: God is not in place, the power of God has
- 31:12Speaker 1: no assignment. The assignment of the power of God is
- 31:15Speaker 1: to enforce and to maintain the will of God. The
- 31:21Speaker 1: reason why the sick are healed is not because the
- 31:24Speaker 1: power of God can heal, is because sickness is inconsistent
- 31:28Speaker 1: with the will of God. So the power of God
- 31:30Speaker 1: finds an assignment there. What gives the power of God
- 31:34Speaker 1: assignment away together now is its ability to bring all
- 31:39Speaker 1: things to line.
- 31:40Speaker 5: Up with the will of God.
- 31:42Speaker 1: If you understand the concept of the will of God,
- 31:45Speaker 1: then you will have power in your prayer. Are we together?
- 31:51Speaker 1: Because you see, the first assignment of the believer in
- 31:54Speaker 1: approaching prayer is to understand the will of God concerning
- 31:59Speaker 1: what you are about to pray for, or to understand
- 32:02Speaker 1: how to find out the will of God. Making decreases
- 32:06Speaker 1: useless until you ascertain you and the will of God.
- 32:10Speaker 5: Are we together now?
- 32:12Speaker 1: Every time you are in ignorance as to the will
- 32:14Speaker 1: of God, your first assignment is to get to a
- 32:18Speaker 1: point of understanding.
- 32:19Speaker 5: And I'm going to be showing you so you see.
- 32:22Speaker 1: That most believers do all kinds of things around the
- 32:24Speaker 1: place of prayer. And just because sincere energy was dissipated,
- 32:28Speaker 1: we hope that God will sympathize with our passion and
- 32:32Speaker 1: somehow anside. You see, God has bound himself to honor
- 32:36Speaker 1: his word. The Bible says, he exalts his word even
- 32:40Speaker 1: at both his office. If you're learning, say amen. So
- 32:48Speaker 1: the Bible talks about the will of God as the
- 32:51Speaker 1: secret that makes prayer powerful. But in truth and in
- 32:56Speaker 1: experience we learn that there are many aspects of the
- 33:00Speaker 1: will of God that are.
- 33:01Speaker 5: Clear and known from scripture.
- 33:03Speaker 1: But from a pragmatic standpoint, there are times where you,
- 33:07Speaker 1: unique to your destiny, you will be at a loss
- 33:10Speaker 1: as to the unique expression of God's will. A provision
- 33:15Speaker 1: was made in our dealings with God where men can
- 33:18Speaker 1: tap into that intelligence. Are we together now that the
- 33:22Speaker 1: will of God was that was prior to that time
- 33:25Speaker 1: not known, it can be known. This is where the
- 33:28Speaker 1: Holy Spirit comes in. Allelujah, so very quickly. Two ways
- 33:35Speaker 1: to pray the will of God?
- 33:39Speaker 5: Are well learning?
- 33:43Speaker 6: Number one, Perhaps let me back down a bit and
- 33:51Speaker 6: just establish a few things, and then we will understand.
- 33:56Speaker 1: There are three layers to scripture, and I want you
- 33:59Speaker 1: to please listen. This Bible, you see, essentially has at
- 34:05Speaker 1: least three layers. There could be more, but there are
- 34:08Speaker 1: three layers to the Bible. Number one, there is a
- 34:12Speaker 1: historic slash archeological layer to scripture. That means this book
- 34:17Speaker 1: you see is also a piece of archeological and historic material.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Are we right on that? There are people who are
- 34:24Speaker 1: not Christians and have had to make reference to the
- 34:27Speaker 1: Bible in writing their thesis and in building up their.
- 34:30Speaker 5: Points for whatever faith practice.
- 34:32Speaker 1: So this is an archeological material. When you read the Bible,
- 34:36Speaker 1: you see history captured. When you read the Bible, you
- 34:39Speaker 1: see archaeology captured. That is a layer. The second layer
- 34:43Speaker 1: to scripture is called a doctrinal layer. Now this one
- 34:49Speaker 1: you have to be a believer to have the eyes
- 34:51Speaker 1: that sees and understand the doctrinal layer to scripture.
- 34:55Speaker 5: Are we together?
- 34:56Speaker 1: This is where the intelligence and the wisdom of God
- 34:59Speaker 1: is derived from scripture. When a historian who is not
- 35:02Speaker 1: born again reads the Bible, he cannot see the doctrinal
- 35:05Speaker 1: sense that is connected in it. The Bible just looks
- 35:09Speaker 1: like a gap of events that were put together canonice together.
- 35:13Speaker 1: But there is the doctrinal layer of scripture. This is
- 35:17Speaker 1: where the system of intelligence of the believer is built around,
- 35:22Speaker 1: is built around doctrine away together Now the third layer
- 35:26Speaker 1: is called the prophetic layer of scripture. This one it
- 35:32Speaker 1: is enhanced when you have a sound understanding of doctrine.
- 35:35Speaker 1: But it is the Holy Spirit that opens you up
- 35:38Speaker 1: to that layer and you can have revelations that are
- 35:41Speaker 1: not general to everybody.
- 35:42Speaker 5: It is given to you as a unique.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Whipon of victory that comes to you as rama that
- 35:48Speaker 1: you will engage and produce results, and not a person
- 35:51Speaker 1: may use it and it may not work for the person.
- 35:54Speaker 1: You can be praying in scripture, for instance, trusting God,
- 35:57Speaker 1: where do I establish myself?
- 35:59Speaker 5: And in scripture will come to you.
- 36:01Speaker 1: You have compassed this amountain long enough turned not words,
- 36:05Speaker 1: that's not a word for everybody.
- 36:07Speaker 5: It to you.
- 36:08Speaker 1: It has ministered the answer to what you are looking for,
- 36:11Speaker 1: and you will follow it literally and it will open
- 36:14Speaker 1: a door for you. But another person may apply that
- 36:17Speaker 1: scripture and it will not work for the person. There
- 36:20Speaker 1: is a prophetic layer to scripture. Do you understand this now? Yes,
- 36:24Speaker 1: this is very powerful. It is the reason why the
- 36:27Speaker 1: study of scripture outside of the ministry of the Holy
- 36:30Speaker 1: Spirit will lead to a lot of imbalances, because you
- 36:35Speaker 1: will find many, many scriptures and not be able to
- 36:39Speaker 1: connect them intelligently to produce the will of God. He said, yes,
- 36:43Speaker 1: such a scripture, for in them you think that you
- 36:47Speaker 1: see what Jesus was saying. Those guys were studious, but
- 36:50Speaker 1: they did not respect the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
- 36:53Speaker 1: So when Jesus, who was the Word incarnate, when he came,
- 36:56Speaker 1: they could not even connect him with the things they
- 36:58Speaker 1: were studying, the knowledge of scripture. But the Word in
- 37:02Speaker 1: candid the Logos of God was standing before them. And yet,
- 37:05Speaker 1: how do you have such a rich bank of scripture
- 37:08Speaker 1: and then the Logos is standing and you cannot connect
- 37:11Speaker 1: to of them?
- 37:15Speaker 5: Allelujah prays the name of the Lord.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Number one. The two ways that we pray the will
- 37:22Speaker 1: of God in the place of prayer is number one.
- 37:26Speaker 1: By praying scripture based prayer. You just write scripture based
- 37:33Speaker 1: prayer scripture based prayer. I made a statement earlier on
- 37:39Speaker 1: and it's time to bring it balance that just because
- 37:41Speaker 1: you found this scripture does not mean you are in
- 37:44Speaker 1: the will of God. That is true. But generally speaking,
- 37:49Speaker 1: when your prayer is what compliant, you must find this
- 37:54Speaker 1: scripture according to the written word. Are we together? Now?
- 37:58Speaker 1: Is scripture? That's so pards This is how the technology
- 38:02Speaker 1: of heaven works. Just saying God, do it? You said
- 38:06Speaker 1: it where he said, presents your cause. He said, bring
- 38:14Speaker 1: forth your strong reasons. Are we together now? When bland?
- 38:18Speaker 1: But you notice bland? But tim you'll never said, Jesus
- 38:21Speaker 1: have messy on me. He said, thou son of David.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Jesus understood what he was saying. You have a covenant
- 38:27Speaker 1: with David. There was a covenant that God had with David,
- 38:31Speaker 1: and I'm standing to invoke that covenant. The woman in
- 38:34Speaker 1: Luke chapter twelve, who have suffered the issue of blood?
- 38:37Speaker 1: He said, is this not not this woman being a
- 38:40Speaker 1: daughter of Abraham? There is a basis not just that
- 38:45Speaker 1: your sofa eighteen years she said, daughter of Abraham? And
- 38:49Speaker 1: I left Abraham a promise that in thee shall all
- 38:53Speaker 1: the families of the earth be blessed. And part of
- 38:56Speaker 1: the component of that blessing is horlesomeness whole. So this
- 39:01Speaker 1: woman's state is a demonstration that God is not faithful,
- 39:05Speaker 1: and when Jesus saw it, being the express image of God,
- 39:08Speaker 1: he had to change it to represent the will of
- 39:12Speaker 1: God correctly. There that was the basis for her healing.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Are we together now? This is very powerful scripture based prayer.
- 39:24Speaker 1: It is the reason why believers must be equipped with
- 39:27Speaker 1: sufficient understanding of scripture, so that in the place of prayer,
- 39:32Speaker 1: you pray with authority, knowing that the written word of
- 39:36Speaker 1: God has a very rich capture, a rich expression of
- 39:40Speaker 1: his will.
- 39:40Speaker 5: So, for instance, you are praying and trusting.
- 39:43Speaker 1: God for healing, just saying, God, heal me, I know,
- 39:46Speaker 1: are you not powerful? Don't be watching me like that.
- 39:49Speaker 1: That is sympathetic prayer. But it is not fervant. It
- 39:53Speaker 1: is not effectual because there is no scriptural basis for
- 39:56Speaker 1: your demand. See see how we pray. An average believer
- 40:02Speaker 1: prays this way. And not to be sarcastic, but just
- 40:05Speaker 1: quite honestly, Father, thanks you the whole preambles. You are
- 40:09Speaker 1: the lion of the tribe of Juda, the Rose of Sharon,
- 40:11Speaker 1: king of King's, Lord of lords. And once we pass that,
- 40:13Speaker 1: then we go straight to the fact that God. And
- 40:16Speaker 1: here again is it that you are not you cannot
- 40:18Speaker 1: hear me. You are hearing this one. You are doing
- 40:21Speaker 1: this one in the name of Jesus Christ. I'm telling
- 40:23Speaker 1: you now you know, and so on and so forth.
- 40:25Speaker 1: And then just because we say amen at the end
- 40:28Speaker 1: of what we're saying. Honestly, it may be sincere prayer,
- 40:32Speaker 1: but as machuort believers, we must learn that not every
- 40:35Speaker 1: kind of prayer. God is almighty, but he has bound
- 40:39Speaker 1: himself to the operation of his world. It is the
- 40:43Speaker 1: reason why, as powerful as God.
- 40:45Speaker 5: Is, he did not cast sin out of man.
- 40:49Speaker 1: There was a protocol he had to submit to until
- 40:52Speaker 1: man was redeemed, because it is written that without the
- 40:55Speaker 1: shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. And God,
- 40:58Speaker 1: who created man and created the loss, submitted himself, not
- 41:02Speaker 1: given him who cast away sin from man. When you
- 41:08Speaker 1: understand this about God, that God did not spare his
- 41:11Speaker 1: own son, he also allowed him to submit to what
- 41:15Speaker 1: the Word said, prophetically, that must be the condition for
- 41:18Speaker 1: redemption if he did not spare Jesus. God is touched
- 41:22Speaker 1: with the feelings of our infirmity. It's called compassion, but
- 41:26Speaker 1: he's moved with his word. By his word. To be
- 41:29Speaker 1: touched does not mean he would just act. He is touched,
- 41:33Speaker 1: and when God wants to help you by being touch
- 41:35Speaker 1: he sends you his word. Is someone learning now scripture
- 41:41Speaker 1: based prayer, Scripture based prayer, Scripture based prayer, scripture based
- 41:48Speaker 1: prayer that every time you are praying making your petitions,
- 41:54Speaker 1: you take the time, as a responsible believer to find
- 41:57Speaker 1: scriptures that supports that.
- 42:00Speaker 5: Which you know God wants to do in your life.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Blindly assuming that God, you said you will prosper me. God,
- 42:06Speaker 1: I know you you are too good to allow me
- 42:09Speaker 1: this way. Those things are very sincere, but you will
- 42:11Speaker 1: not get resolved that way. Are we together? Number two,
- 42:20Speaker 1: The second way we pray the will of God is
- 42:25Speaker 1: by praying in the spirit, engaging the wisdom of the
- 42:30Speaker 1: spirit in praying so as to birth the will of God.
- 42:34Speaker 1: This is very powerful. The Bible says in Romance chapter eight.
- 42:38Speaker 1: When you read twenty six and twenty seven Romans eight,
- 42:41Speaker 1: twenty six and twenty seven. Likewise, it says, the spirit
- 42:46Speaker 1: helpeck in our infirmity. What is infirmity there? Contextually, the
- 42:53Speaker 1: word infirmity there does not mean sickness.
- 42:55Speaker 5: It means limitations.
- 42:57Speaker 1: By reason of wearing im mortal body, we are limited
- 43:01Speaker 1: in our understanding. We see im part and we professying
- 43:05Speaker 1: part because of that limitation. Now, there are three dimensions
- 43:10Speaker 1: of God's nature. He did not share with man.
- 43:13Speaker 5: I don't have the time to explain this here, but
- 43:15Speaker 5: it's important for us to know.
- 43:17Speaker 1: When the Bible says we are partakers of his divine nature,
- 43:20Speaker 1: it is not every part of his nature he gave man.
- 43:23Speaker 1: I hope you know that there are certain dimensions of
- 43:26Speaker 1: God's nature that are exclusive to him. Three of them.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Number one his omnipresence. He did not share that with man.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Number two his omnipotence, the ability to be all powerful,
- 43:39Speaker 1: and then number three his ability to be omniscient. All
- 43:43Speaker 1: knowing these three dimensions of God he did not share
- 43:47Speaker 1: with man. They brand him in a class all by himself.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Are we together now? So? Man is not all powerful?
- 43:55Speaker 1: Our power is derived. That's why we have authority. Authority
- 43:59Speaker 1: is the lefs legitimacy to use power. God does not
- 44:02Speaker 1: have authority because authority demands that you must be regulated.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Every time you give a man authority, there must be
- 44:18Speaker 1: a system above that man that supervises the management of
- 44:22Speaker 1: that power and authority. Are we together now? Yes? I know.
- 44:27Speaker 1: The Bible says all authority has been given. Notice Jesus
- 44:30Speaker 1: is speaking as a man. All authority. Authority is giving.
- 44:34Speaker 1: It is not derived. It is given given by one
- 44:37Speaker 1: higher than you. God was willing to submit if he
- 44:41Speaker 1: found someone greater than him, but he did not find
- 44:44Speaker 1: any and so that's what makes him all powerful.
- 44:48Speaker 5: You get it.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Now, Yes, demons have power, but they do not have authority.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Authority is the legitimacy to use power. Robert has a gone,
- 45:01Speaker 1: a military man has a gone. They both have power,
- 45:04Speaker 1: but one has authority. That's why he will not be
- 45:07Speaker 1: jailed for shooting. The other guy does not have authority.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Are you getting the point? Now? Believe us. We're not
- 45:13Speaker 1: just given power. If the only thing God gave us
- 45:16Speaker 1: is power, we're in trouble. It means we all pray
- 45:18Speaker 1: just like demon's spirit. What gives us an edges that
- 45:21Speaker 1: we have authority is the reason why he honors us
- 45:25Speaker 1: when we make declarations in the spirit, because we have
- 45:29Speaker 1: power and authority. How did I get here? Praise God?
- 45:33Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 45:35Speaker 5: Yes?
- 45:41Speaker 1: This is important praying in the spirit. So the Bible says,
- 45:45Speaker 1: we're looking at Romance Chapter eight, from verse twenty six.
- 45:49Speaker 1: The spirit help out our limitations. What is the limitation?
- 45:53Speaker 1: We know not what we should pray for us we
- 45:56Speaker 1: ought this is the limitation.
- 45:59Speaker 5: This is what the Holy Spirit helps.
- 46:01Speaker 1: That there is a deficiency in all men by reason
- 46:05Speaker 1: of wearing a mortal body, and by reason of the
- 46:08Speaker 1: fallen nature, that we do not have accurate perception of
- 46:12Speaker 1: what the will of God is in all matters. This
- 46:15Speaker 1: is why God gave us a holy Spirit to become
- 46:18Speaker 1: that advantage to that limitation. Then the Bible says, whoever
- 46:23Speaker 1: is aware of such a limitation will now recognize that
- 46:27Speaker 1: the Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot
- 46:32Speaker 1: be uttered. The next verse, place twenty seven, the Bible says,
- 46:36Speaker 1: he he been the spirit that's such aid. The heart
- 46:40Speaker 1: knows what is the mind of the spirit, because he
- 46:44Speaker 1: maketh intercession for the saints. How according to the will
- 46:49Speaker 1: of God. So the recommended approach to pray over a
- 46:54Speaker 1: matter where the will of God is not clear is
- 46:58Speaker 1: to pray in the spirit. And that the Bible says,
- 47:01Speaker 1: there is a transaction that happens when you pray in
- 47:03Speaker 1: the spirit. Eventually, the Spirit of God, who is also
- 47:07Speaker 1: the revealer of the Heart of God, are we together.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Now He will meet you at the point of your
- 47:14Speaker 1: passion where the will of God is revealed. Then, on
- 47:17Speaker 1: the basis of scripture, we can pray and make petitions
- 47:21Speaker 1: with authority, knowing that this is the confidence we have
- 47:25Speaker 1: that when we ask anything. When I'm praying for the sick,
- 47:30Speaker 1: I don't verify whether is the will of God. It's
- 47:33Speaker 1: been established from scripture by his tribes. We are healed.
- 47:36Speaker 1: He is called Rapha. Are we together? Now? I am
- 47:40Speaker 1: come that ye may have life and to have it
- 47:43Speaker 1: more abundantly.
- 47:44Speaker 5: That is sufficient basis for my confidence.
- 47:47Speaker 1: So when I minister to the sick, I minister with confidence,
- 47:51Speaker 1: not in my own sufficiency, but that the words of
- 47:54Speaker 1: God his promises are yay and amen. This is what
- 48:00Speaker 1: gives us confidence to pray and to minister by the spirit.
- 48:05Speaker 1: But then there are matters in life and destiny. Where
- 48:07Speaker 1: should I be, where should the church be planted away together?
- 48:11Speaker 1: And all those kinds of things. It is not directly
- 48:14Speaker 1: written in the Bible for you, even though when the
- 48:17Speaker 1: Holy Spirit gives you his word, you will find a
- 48:19Speaker 1: scripture that relates to it. So what you do is
- 48:23Speaker 1: to engage in the spirit and continually engage in the spirit.
- 48:28Speaker 1: You are doing two things in one. One is you
- 48:30Speaker 1: are already communic with God according to the will of God.
- 48:35Speaker 1: But number two, because you are the one who needs
- 48:37Speaker 1: to act out his will, the Holy Spirit will search
- 48:40Speaker 1: the mind of the Father and transport to you the
- 48:43Speaker 1: will of the Father for your destiny. You don't stop
- 48:47Speaker 1: praying until the knowledge of the will arrives. That was
- 48:51Speaker 1: the goal of the prayer. At what point do you
- 48:54Speaker 1: stop praying in the spirit when the will of God
- 48:57Speaker 1: concerning your life is revealed. You don't stop praying when
- 49:03Speaker 1: you are tired. You don't stop praying after one hour
- 49:06Speaker 1: or after five hour. What governs the prayer is not
- 49:09Speaker 1: chronological time. What governs the time is travailing until the
- 49:14Speaker 1: knowledge of the will arrives. If it takes twenty one days,
- 49:18Speaker 1: you keep going. If it takes two hours, you keep going.
- 49:21Speaker 1: You see that now mechanically is selecting time for your prayer.
- 49:25Speaker 1: It may help you in terms of giving you spiritual discipline.
- 49:29Speaker 1: But there are times, for many reasons that I may
- 49:32Speaker 1: not discuss here, you will need to traveil. When a
- 49:35Speaker 1: woman goes to the hospital to give blads, she doesn't
- 49:38Speaker 1: give the doctors two hours. She goes there knowing that
- 49:41Speaker 1: her goal is until the child arrives. Sometimes she gets
- 49:45Speaker 1: there and in touching minutes the child is out. But
- 49:47Speaker 1: there are times she's here one week. She stays patiently
- 49:51Speaker 1: with the confidence that my goal is to beat this child.
- 49:55Speaker 1: How about the time she's carrying twins. How about the
- 49:58Speaker 1: time she's carrying triplets. Other women may come and go
- 50:01Speaker 1: and live her there because of the kind of thing
- 50:04Speaker 1: she's breathing. The pavant and effectual prayer of the righteous
- 50:12Speaker 1: are vailed much. Most believers are sincere and passionate, but
- 50:18Speaker 1: they do not respect the will of God as a
- 50:21Speaker 1: vital component in prayer. Most people will not understand the
- 50:26Speaker 1: advantage God gave us in giving us the Holy Spirit
- 50:30Speaker 1: and giving us the prayer language. It's been an age
- 50:33Speaker 1: long argument as to whether praying in the spirit in
- 50:37Speaker 1: terms as we know is necessary for believers. It is
- 50:40Speaker 1: because we do not understand the way the Kingdom works,
- 50:44Speaker 1: that as compassionate as God is, he only acts with
- 50:48Speaker 1: respect to His will. Are we together, so when we
- 50:58Speaker 1: pray in the spirit, it is an edge He has
- 51:02Speaker 1: given us. An apostle Paul was teaching the church in Ephesos,
- 51:06Speaker 1: and he says, you are wise when you pray in
- 51:09Speaker 1: the spirit, because in praying the spirit, you will eventually
- 51:13Speaker 1: gain the advantage of knowing the will of the Lord,
- 51:17Speaker 1: and with it you will execute with precision, and you
- 51:20Speaker 1: will save time. Not to go around ten years doing
- 51:24Speaker 1: several things you think at the will of God, only
- 51:27Speaker 1: to find out at the eleventh year that you were
- 51:29Speaker 1: not in the will of God and you have to
- 51:31Speaker 1: come back. You have wasted time, he says, you redeem
- 51:35Speaker 1: time when you know the will of God. Let it
- 51:39Speaker 1: not be that I'm roaming around legods for fifteen years.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Then finally when I get seerious with God, I find
- 51:45Speaker 1: out that it was designed for me to have been
- 51:47Speaker 1: in the US.
- 51:50Speaker 5: And now you have to trust God.
- 51:51Speaker 1: You see, this is why God created systems of advantage
- 51:55Speaker 1: like restoration and speed, because He knows that most men
- 51:59Speaker 1: will not believe. Here are we together now? If it
- 52:03Speaker 1: is God's in God's intent for you to probably have
- 52:07Speaker 1: started the work of.
- 52:08Speaker 5: The ministry, and you've been arguing with.
- 52:10Speaker 1: The spirit for the last fifteen years, Imagine how many
- 52:13Speaker 1: souls have been tied to you. They have suffered because
- 52:15Speaker 1: of your carelessness. That is why when God reveals his
- 52:20Speaker 1: will to you, in addition to it, he opens you
- 52:23Speaker 1: up to his systems of advantage like restoration and speed.
- 52:28Speaker 1: These are his various ways of bringing you up to
- 52:31Speaker 1: speed with life and destiny. But my assignment is to
- 52:34Speaker 1: charge you will use the remaining ten minutes to pray.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Now you pray with understanding, Allelujah in the name of Jesus.
- 52:42Speaker 1: You are making declarations of protection, and you are saying, well,
- 52:45Speaker 1: all I.
- 52:45Speaker 5: Know, God forbid, I know nobody would touch me.
- 52:48Speaker 1: You are joking. No, No, The Lord is my light
- 52:51Speaker 1: and my salvation. Of whom shall I be afraid of?
- 52:55Speaker 1: The Lord is the strength of my life? Are we
- 52:58Speaker 1: together that when men say there is a casting down
- 53:01Speaker 1: for me, I decree and declare that there is a
- 53:03Speaker 1: lifting up. I like what the Bible calls them. He
- 53:06Speaker 1: calls them exceeding, great and precious promises. It says that
- 53:10Speaker 1: by them we might be the partakers of His divine
- 53:13Speaker 1: nature inexperience. Haven't escaped the corruption that is in the
- 53:17Speaker 1: world to lost? Show me a believer that it's full
- 53:21Speaker 1: of the world and knows how to engage it with understanding.
- 53:24Speaker 1: I show you a man who has mastered the art
- 53:27Speaker 1: of effectual prayer, prayer that produces power. Are weay together?
- 53:32Speaker 1: So how do you proy? Over twenty twenty four In
- 53:34Speaker 1: the name of Jesus. The Bible declares this is the
- 53:37Speaker 1: day that includes the year.
- 53:38Speaker 5: That the Lord has made.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Who made it? It is said the Lord and Satan
- 53:43Speaker 1: the Lord has made. Satan also waits for the day
- 53:45Speaker 1: to be made, to be part of it. If God
- 53:48Speaker 1: makes the day. I go to Genesis one. What happens
- 53:52Speaker 1: when God is the one who makes, He makes all
- 53:54Speaker 1: things beautiful, and when he makes it so that it
- 53:57Speaker 1: was good. On the basis of that, my day must be.
- 54:00Speaker 1: On the basis of that, my year must be good.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Everything that is inconsistent with the design of God for
- 54:06Speaker 1: my life in this season. Now you can take authority
- 54:10Speaker 1: over with confidence because you are praying pavant. You are
- 54:14Speaker 1: praying effectual prayer. Allelujah. Your children are misbehaving, you don't
- 54:20Speaker 1: just call them and say, God, what I've served you?
- 54:23Speaker 1: That looks sincere, But it's not a very wise prayer.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Someone twelve said, blessed is the man that feared the Lord,
- 54:28Speaker 1: who delighted greatly in his commands. He said, his seed
- 54:32Speaker 1: shall be mighty, The generation of the right shall be blessed.
- 54:36Speaker 1: He says, wealth and riches shall be in his house,
- 54:38Speaker 1: and his righteousness and yours forever. That becomes the basis
- 54:42Speaker 1: of your prayer. Allelujah. When the centurion came to Jesus,
- 54:50Speaker 1: he said, you do not need to come to my house.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Speak the word only. He said, I am a man
- 54:55Speaker 1: on the authority. I know the power of authority. There
- 54:58Speaker 1: is a government, the government of They backed me, and
- 55:01Speaker 1: by reason of the authority, I said to one go
- 55:05Speaker 1: not because of the sound of my voice, not because
- 55:07Speaker 1: of my stature. I am under authority. I say you too.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I know you did not come on your own. You
- 55:13Speaker 1: came representing the government of Heaven. Speak the world only.
- 55:16Speaker 1: And Jesus said, who taught you? Have not found this faith?
- 55:20Speaker 1: Not in Israel? Who men taught this man to have
- 55:22Speaker 1: this understanding? Is someone listening now the name of Jesus.
- 55:32Speaker 1: You rebuke sicknesses and diseases. You don't just say sickness
- 55:35Speaker 1: go to where? Why? Why does it go? Is it
- 55:39Speaker 1: not in your Bible that a few people said, we
- 55:41Speaker 1: enjoy you by Jesus whom Paul preaches. What did the
- 55:44Speaker 1: demon said Jesus? I know, Paul, I know what is
- 55:48Speaker 1: the basis of obeying you? And there bigs the children.
- 55:51Speaker 1: This is not the old TESTAMENTO produce your strong reason?
- 56:01Speaker 1: Why should God lift you? Because I know he loves
- 56:05Speaker 1: me too much. Where did you find that? Don't assume
- 56:10Speaker 1: even Satan said it is written. I hope you know
- 56:12Speaker 1: what is written concerning you. The Bible says, when Jesus
- 56:16Speaker 1: came to the temple in Look chapter four, he found
- 56:19Speaker 1: he opened the book of Exias, and he found where
- 56:22Speaker 1: it was written concerning him. Have you found where it
- 56:26Speaker 1: was written concerning your job? Have you found where it
- 56:29Speaker 1: was written concerning your children? Can I tell you? In
- 56:32Speaker 1: this kingdom it is written, is greater than I saw?
- 56:36Speaker 1: It is written, is greater than I heard. You can
- 56:39Speaker 1: use it. It's written to change what you saw. You
- 56:41Speaker 1: can use it. It's written to change what you heard.
- 56:44Speaker 1: I had a dream that you would die. I respect
- 56:47Speaker 1: your dream, but it is written. I shall not die,
- 56:50Speaker 1: but leave and declare the works of the Lord. That
- 56:52Speaker 1: becomes the basis of my engaging. Are we together? I
- 56:59Speaker 1: say that this year may not be very good for you.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Generally as a prophetic word, that is fine. But uniquely
- 57:05Speaker 1: I define my realities.
- 57:07Speaker 5: It is true.
- 57:08Speaker 1: It's that's true. Faith.
- 57:09Speaker 5: We understand. Do you believe this?
- 57:12Speaker 1: We're about to pray last summer Raco Theater. The Bible says,
- 57:17Speaker 1: the path of the Just, not in twenty twenty three,
- 57:21Speaker 1: not in twenty twenty four. The path of the just
- 57:25Speaker 1: is as a shining light. It shines more and more.
- 57:29Speaker 1: More and more is my heritage. I don't know about you,
- 57:33Speaker 1: but it is my heritage. This is not just blind confession. Honestly,
- 57:38Speaker 1: you ignoreice, you will be surprised that you'll be a victim.
- 57:45Speaker 1: I hope you know that before Jesus died, he declared
- 57:49Speaker 1: that you will come back to life. If he kept quiet,
- 57:52Speaker 1: the grave will not open. Let the redeemed of the
- 57:57Speaker 1: Lord not think so. Not we so not assume so.
- 58:04Speaker 1: If the redeemed of the Lord says so, then the
- 58:06Speaker 1: healed of the Lord will say so, the blessed of
- 58:09Speaker 1: the Lord will say so. The lifted of the Lord
- 58:11Speaker 1: will say so. You have been thinking so wonderful, but
- 58:15Speaker 1: it's time to say so. Say what what God has said.
- 58:19Speaker 1: It is a word confession, homologial to repeat as you
- 58:22Speaker 1: have heard, consistent with what he has said.
- 58:28Speaker 5: Allelujah.
- 58:29Speaker 1: When men say there is a casting down with the
- 58:32Speaker 1: Krean declared that there is a lifting up, is that true?
- 58:36Speaker 1: Gentiles come to my light, their kings, to the brightness
- 58:39Speaker 1: of My rising in the name of Jesus. Where I've
- 58:42Speaker 1: been deserted so that no man would pass through me,
- 58:45Speaker 1: I've become an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
- 58:49Speaker 1: The wisdom of God is at work in my spirit,
- 58:51Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus Christ, going from glory to glory.
- 58:55Speaker 1: This is not pentecostal kibberish. Is how we create realities
- 58:59Speaker 1: in the spirit. So let me tell you this. Listen
- 59:03Speaker 1: before we pray. Papa Copeland is in his eighties now,
- 59:08Speaker 1: is one of the fathers today that represents the feelers.
- 59:12Speaker 5: Of what we know to be the Word of faith.
- 59:15Speaker 1: And one time I heard him making a statement. When
- 59:18Speaker 1: he was younger, he believed the Word in the simplicity
- 59:22Speaker 1: of faith, and he would declare over his body and
- 59:25Speaker 1: speak and do a lot of things, and there were
- 59:27Speaker 1: people who laughed at him. Most of those people have
- 59:29Speaker 1: long gone. In his eighties, he's still standing today, moving unaided.
- 59:36Speaker 5: And there were many arrogant.
- 59:37Speaker 1: People who are How did the Bible put it? I
- 59:40Speaker 1: cannot remember the scripture, he says, but I hear Paul
- 59:43Speaker 1: was speaking. He said, less as Satan beguiled Eve. I
- 59:48Speaker 1: think he was speaking to the church in Corinth. Also
- 59:50Speaker 1: through sotilty, a deception inventing a strategy that deviates you
- 59:56Speaker 1: from the simplicity of the Gospel. It takes childlike approach
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: to the things of the spirit. There are times that
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: they look deceptfully childish, and yet the power of God
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: is hidden in those practices. For instance, there is here
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: that's scatteract and yet increase it. It does not make
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: economic sense. Yet that is the wisdom of God that
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: is hidden. The Bible said it was ordained for our glory.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I told you yesterday that the end of the believer's
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: journey is that your life eventually becomes a manifestation of
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: the glory of God. And one of these platforms and
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: these weapons that I share with you, in addition to
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: all you have heard this morning, is the power of fervent,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: effectual prayer, not just emotional prayer. Are we together now,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: not just trad though African prayers, sincerely saying, without any
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: sense of mockri and all of that. Most of us
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: need to redefine our understanding about prayer. Probably will been
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: mentored by sincere people, but we view the prayer ministry
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: from the lens of a defeated believer. If your prayer
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: is not effectual. It cannot produce power the amount of
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: time and energy that is invested in prayer in Africa.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: With all due respect and honor to all of us
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: believers who pray, if there was vency and efficiency in
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: our prayer, we would have shifted the climates of the
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: continent by now. So in addition to our zeal, one
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: of the things that the Lord is reintroducing to the
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: prayer ministry of the believer is the word compliancy. Respect
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: for the ministry of the Holy Spirit as we pray,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: respect for the supremacy of the world, as we pray.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: That emotional prayer does not change climates. It is the
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: degree of the word compliancy or not to the Spirit
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: of God.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: I sense in my heart.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: That there are people in this place and together as
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the Body of Christ. We have come into a state
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: of maturity by the spirit, thanks to apostolic conferences like this,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: where God helps us to sharpen one another by the spirit,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: to gain accendance and come to a point of maturity
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: and to be circumspecting our understanding. Where we begin to
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: pray from Legos to Abuja, to South Africa to Kenya,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: to Uganda to Malawi. Prayer with understanding, and you see
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: that fire of revival and phavancy rising and spreading. Are
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: we together, one man who knew how to pray, kept
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: the will of God to work in a landrygardless how many.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: Prophets of goal.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Prayer is powerful, but it must be fervent, it must
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: be efficient. If we take two minutes to pray, would
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: that be fine? My apologies were stretching. I thought we'll
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: have some more time to pray. But please rise upon
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: your feet, alamacusiata take to the second to pray in
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the spirit. Now you understand what you are doing. You're
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: not just reciting gibberish. Mechanical gibberish is a transaction in
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: the spirit. The pavant, effectual prayer of the righteous a
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: failed much what thingsoever ye desire when ye pray, believe
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: that thou receives them when ye pray, when you pray pavantly,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: when you pray effectually or effectively. And this is the
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: confidence that we have that when we ask anything according
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: to His will, we know that you here a us
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: someone pray in one.

- 1:04:57Speaker 1: the supremacy of the world, respe acting the supremacy of
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: the will of God as revealed in scripture. Respecting the
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: supremacy of the will of God as channel through the
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: wisdom of the spirit. Someone pray, obtain grace, Obtain grace.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Obtain grace. Obtain grace, Obtain grace,
