- 1:26Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, the podcast from the Value and
- 1:29Speaker 1: Podcast Network. Massive, Massive Show Today. Very special guest at
- 1:34Speaker 1: the end of the show, bookmaker to the world Bob Scucci,
- 1:37Speaker 1: the original Simon Hunter, one of my closest friends, this
- 1:41Speaker 1: subject for the book the Odds, one of my favorite
- 1:43Speaker 1: people in the world. He'll be on later on. You
- 1:46Speaker 1: must listen. Like everything that this podcast is is built
- 1:50Speaker 1: on Bob Scucci being able to translate sports betting to
- 1:55Speaker 1: the common man. But of course it's Thursday. I got
- 1:58Speaker 1: my new bff, my new companion, my new compiled right
- 2:02Speaker 1: professional better signment Hunter, how are you, buddy? It was
- 2:05Speaker 1: definitely weird waking up to no football to that. It
- 2:08Speaker 1: was like I kept checking my phone, double checking. I mean,
- 2:10Speaker 1: we have college football, like I got it all in
- 2:12Speaker 1: the background. But it's just different. They let you know
- 2:15Speaker 1: that it's playoff time, it's the end of the year.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's there's no more Thursday games, terrible football. It's just
- 2:22Speaker 1: all Saturdays, Saturday and Sundays. Just for the rest of
- 2:24Speaker 1: the year. Yeah. Look, I've been um sort of saying
- 2:28Speaker 1: that this season feels a little bit interminable. But I
- 2:32Speaker 1: am wistful already, like I thought back to September, October, November,
- 2:38Speaker 1: like being through these four months, which as a sports
- 2:42Speaker 1: fan are incredible for the podcast, it's incredible. In our business,
- 2:46Speaker 1: it's amazing, like all those things. A is the longest
- 2:50Speaker 1: time in the world, and it goes by like that. Yeah,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and it's it's like you just said, I at this
- 2:55Speaker 1: time of year, I go through a lot of my
- 2:56Speaker 1: old notes. I'd like to see where I was writing
- 2:58Speaker 1: down what I was thinking early in the year. My
- 3:00Speaker 1: favorite thing I found was we took the lines week one. Um,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I think I got a ship number, like I gave
- 3:06Speaker 1: out seven and a half, and then we took it
- 3:08Speaker 1: again at eight and a half and it covered eight.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Literally in my quote right blow was this team is
- 3:12Speaker 1: fucking terrible, but you have to bet them they know
- 3:14Speaker 1: how to cover Hello Detroit. And I looked at my notes.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Sadly I didn't take them all year. I think I'm
- 3:26Speaker 1: nine and seven with line games. This year still made
- 3:29Speaker 1: a profit, but man, that's the next year on me
- 3:32Speaker 1: on that again, like there's be some terrible team that
- 3:34Speaker 1: we just need to be on. You know, Denver was three,
- 3:37Speaker 1: No Carolina is three, and oh neither of them are
- 3:39Speaker 1: making the playoffs. It's just hilarious and you look back
- 3:41Speaker 1: on those kind of things, it's just like, what the
- 3:43Speaker 1: hell is even going on. It is the last show
- 3:45Speaker 1: of one and we are appreciative and thankful to everybody
- 3:50Speaker 1: who's been listening to us all year, all football season,
- 3:54Speaker 1: made us the number one sports betting podcast in the country.
- 3:57Speaker 1: It is Thursday. We'll get to some sharp calls, will
- 4:01Speaker 1: narrow down how numbers have moved based on the games
- 4:04Speaker 1: we liked. On Tuesday, we'll do our money line parlay,
- 4:07Speaker 1: will do our big balls better the week, we'll talk
- 4:12Speaker 1: about what we think our final five will be. Reminder
- 4:15Speaker 1: reminder follow me in Simon and the free to download
- 4:18Speaker 1: a Warrant Witting Action Network app. Follow the PHAPS five
- 4:22Speaker 1: the Phaves five. That's where you can see the games
- 4:26Speaker 1: we will put we will put into our contest on Sunday.
- 4:29Speaker 1: A reminder, you get a pretty good hint of what
- 4:32Speaker 1: we like on Tuesday, we ask you to bet those lines.
- 4:35Speaker 1: When we talk about on Tuesday, we ask you to
- 4:38Speaker 1: follow up on Thursday if you haven't bet them the contest.
- 4:41Speaker 1: We're in locks lines on Tuesday or Wednesday. So when
- 4:44Speaker 1: we make the decisions on Sunday, a lot of time
- 4:46Speaker 1: we are making decisions based on the closing line value
- 4:49Speaker 1: of what we see on Sunday versus what the line
- 4:51Speaker 1: closed at on Wednesday. In this contest, do not send
- 4:54Speaker 1: us the comments about why we are giving out picks
- 4:56Speaker 1: for lines that don't exist anymore. It's because that's what
- 4:59Speaker 1: we're do going in that handle. The podcast is meant
- 5:03Speaker 1: to give you the real time information. Even more real
- 5:06Speaker 1: time information is available on Convince Me, our live show
- 5:09Speaker 1: Sunday mornings eleven AM Me and Simon, Chris, Raybond, Sean Kerner.
- 5:13Speaker 1: You can get that on Action Network HQ on at
- 5:16Speaker 1: eleven a m Eastern. On Twitter. You can also get
- 5:18Speaker 1: on an Action Network YouTube page that has real time
- 5:21Speaker 1: up to the second information for picks. Let's get to
- 5:24Speaker 1: some sharp calls. Hello, who's there? I'm talking telephone right?
- 5:33Speaker 1: Somebody said, maybe love to do? Who called you this week?
- 5:38Speaker 1: What are they say? And I felt like we locked
- 5:40Speaker 1: in very specifically on some games, and there's probably a
- 5:42Speaker 1: couple of couple of games that people are against us.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So I got a call from a big time group
- 5:48Speaker 1: that I talked to nothing. It might have been mid season.
- 5:50Speaker 1: This guy was Billy Walter's right hand man, you know,
- 5:52Speaker 1: his own little professional group that he runs. That they're
- 5:55Speaker 1: very selective. They might hit six seven totals or against
- 5:59Speaker 1: the spread matchups per year in the NFL. The last
- 6:02Speaker 1: time he called me, he was on I believe it
- 6:05Speaker 1: was the Vikings versus Baltimore Ravens. He called me. I
- 6:08Speaker 1: think he said the line was seven or six and
- 6:10Speaker 1: a half. Ravens end up being up that big in
- 6:13Speaker 1: that game. Ravens came back and went to overtime. You know,
- 6:16Speaker 1: the six was gonna cover no matter what. So whenever
- 6:19Speaker 1: someone like that calls me up, I listen. It's tough
- 6:21Speaker 1: to hear that he's on the complete opposite side of
- 6:23Speaker 1: what I like. He looks a Giants. This is to them,
- 6:27Speaker 1: this is one of their bigger bets this week. I
- 6:29Speaker 1: can't do it. Like when he said it to me,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I didn't want to laugh and be disrespectful because it
- 6:33Speaker 1: was when when someone like that calls you, you just
- 6:35Speaker 1: don't even speak. I just listened, but I was like muffling,
- 6:38Speaker 1: like what the fuck? Like I wanted to hear his
- 6:40Speaker 1: rationale on it, because I just I feel like, with
- 6:43Speaker 1: the quarterback play we've seen of the Giants, I told
- 6:45Speaker 1: you last last show, they're my lowest creative team right now,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and like they're lower than the Jaguars, They're lower than
- 6:50Speaker 1: a Liance, They're lower than the Jets, they're lower than
- 6:52Speaker 1: the Bears. His whole rationale was, this line should be
- 6:55Speaker 1: three and a half, it's seven. I have to take
- 6:58Speaker 1: the seven, had to take the six and a half.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I think it's down to five and a half five
- 7:01Speaker 1: at certain books. NOE. This line is moving aggressively in
- 7:05Speaker 1: the Giant direction right now, and I get it like
- 7:08Speaker 1: a group like him betting forty k it has more
- 7:11Speaker 1: weight than the public bet in a million dollars on
- 7:13Speaker 1: the other side. I mean, that's how much bookmakers respect
- 7:16Speaker 1: these kind of this kind of money. So I'm gonna
- 7:18Speaker 1: stick to my guns. Maybe I just won't bet as
- 7:20Speaker 1: much on the Bears. But if it's Nick Foles and
- 7:22Speaker 1: it's this Bears team, I love this matchup for this
- 7:25Speaker 1: team at home, I'm gonna stick with it. But I
- 7:28Speaker 1: just want people to have caution knowing that you're going
- 7:30Speaker 1: again to a professional who's bet in the NFL for
- 7:32Speaker 1: the thirty five years and he's worked with arguably the
- 7:35Speaker 1: best betting pro ever at this so that that's definitely
- 7:39Speaker 1: what I want to put out there right away. For
- 7:40Speaker 1: me being on the other side of it, it's terrifying,
- 7:42Speaker 1: like this might have been a ten kift k bet
- 7:46Speaker 1: kind of for me this week of the Bears. I'm
- 7:48Speaker 1: not going to bove five k. I'll leave out there
- 7:50Speaker 1: would already have and I'm maybe I'll keep taking this
- 7:52Speaker 1: line as it moves down for maybe a thousand here
- 7:54Speaker 1: and there, but this no longer will be one of
- 7:56Speaker 1: our five. I just I can't do it, especially when
- 7:58Speaker 1: the guy like that's reaching out to me. I just
- 8:00Speaker 1: have to respect the call. So that that was an
- 8:02Speaker 1: interesting call. Then we had a bunch of pros on
- 8:04Speaker 1: the same side as us. The guys love Tennessee. We
- 8:07Speaker 1: see it's still sitting there in minus three and a half.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Um had a couple of people reach out to me
- 8:12Speaker 1: and asked me about that number. When you have a
- 8:13Speaker 1: three and a half and you have the favorite, that's
- 8:15Speaker 1: a good thing. When it doesn't move to three. That
- 8:18Speaker 1: means that professionals are coming on the minus three and
- 8:20Speaker 1: a half. When I look at the Pittsburgh game, that's scary.
- 8:22Speaker 1: The fact that it's still sitting on three and a
- 8:24Speaker 1: half and that that pro money has come in on
- 8:26Speaker 1: them and still sitting there at six three and a half.
- 8:29Speaker 1: For Pittsburgh, that's scary because they're the dog. When it's
- 8:31Speaker 1: the favorite, you feel good about. So with Tennessee, I'm
- 8:34Speaker 1: seeing some fours out there on off shore books. Nothing
- 8:36Speaker 1: changed there. I still love that number. A bunch of
- 8:38Speaker 1: pros love that number, so they're alling with us on Tennessee.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Another discripancy for US is I said, I really like
- 8:44Speaker 1: the Ravens. Got a lot of pushback on that one.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Talk to two different pros. Their group has already hit
- 8:49Speaker 1: the rams for small Uh. Yeah, the rams and minus
- 8:53Speaker 1: three minus three and al for a small amount. They're
- 8:55Speaker 1: trying to bet it again. Obviously, it's a little different
- 8:57Speaker 1: where you're limited earlier in the week because of all
- 8:58Speaker 1: the injury news, and then we saw the deal Lamar.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I don't know if you saw that video chat, but
- 9:03Speaker 1: it's bad. The coach blows the whistle for the end
- 9:05Speaker 1: of the drill and you're supposed to draw to the
- 9:06Speaker 1: next station. He looked like an eight year old man.
- 9:08Speaker 1: He could barely really move on it. He was just
- 9:11Speaker 1: very I don't even know how to explain it. It's
- 9:13Speaker 1: just like like he didn't want to put weight on
- 9:14Speaker 1: that ankle um when he's stepping up the throw, he
- 9:16Speaker 1: don't want to put weight on it. What are we
- 9:18Speaker 1: doing here? If I want to bet Lamar, I'm betting
- 9:20Speaker 1: on him on his athleticism. So I didn't get it
- 9:23Speaker 1: when they were telling me that why they were so
- 9:25Speaker 1: heavy on the Rams. And then I saw the footage.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Maybe it was last night this morning of Lamar putting
- 9:30Speaker 1: weight on the ankle and trying to run on it.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So I'll buy out. I'm gonna buy out on my
- 9:35Speaker 1: Ravens position. It's just I can't do it. So as
- 9:38Speaker 1: long as it's under five or four and a half
- 9:40Speaker 1: and you can still get this number, I got no
- 9:42Speaker 1: issue taking the Rams to me. This was a trap
- 9:44Speaker 1: spot for this Rams team. But if Lamar can't run
- 9:48Speaker 1: and you can just make him one, you know, all
- 9:51Speaker 1: you have to do worry about is Lamar throwing the ball.
- 9:53Speaker 1: That kind of takes away half the offensive the Ravens,
- 9:55Speaker 1: so that that was definitely one of the bigger ones
- 9:59Speaker 1: that changed my mind because I told you coming in,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I was either gonna bet the Ravens or not bet
- 10:02Speaker 1: at all, and now I flipped. Now I am bet
- 10:04Speaker 1: in the Rams, just because I know other pros are
- 10:06Speaker 1: on that number. So that the Ravens this morning at
- 10:08Speaker 1: plus four, I know I'm right there with you. Though,
- 10:10Speaker 1: like I I love them coming in, I have to
- 10:12Speaker 1: try to try to go against my own number and
- 10:15Speaker 1: just look at other people's views and then what their
- 10:17Speaker 1: information they're gonna be if they're getting good info that
- 10:19Speaker 1: he's not right and that he's forcing it, and then
- 10:21Speaker 1: we see the video of him looking like that. Just
- 10:23Speaker 1: it was just the reason I bought out of my
- 10:25Speaker 1: position Washington football team. If I hadn't already made my
- 10:29Speaker 1: big bets of the season, this would probably end up
- 10:30Speaker 1: being one of them. I'm I feel like I'm up
- 10:32Speaker 1: to eight different guys I talked to in the last
- 10:35Speaker 1: forty eight hours that have just bet this number, bet
- 10:38Speaker 1: this money line all over Washington. When one process something
- 10:42Speaker 1: really interesting me, he was like, Okay, they played two
- 10:45Speaker 1: weeks ago, who was the quarter? I don't even remember
- 10:47Speaker 1: it was like their third string or fourth stringer. They
- 10:49Speaker 1: end up losing that game to the Eagles twenty seven
- 10:51Speaker 1: to seventeen. We're just going off that it's weird again,
- 10:55Speaker 1: It's very weird. The bookmakers dinna make this line seven.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Their whole rationale behind it was the same as me,
- 11:01Speaker 1: I make this number two and a half three. They
- 11:03Speaker 1: make this number a pick. They think they're getting three
- 11:06Speaker 1: and a half four points of value. That's why I
- 11:07Speaker 1: think so many of them are making this one of
- 11:09Speaker 1: their bigger bets. I love that we made this our
- 11:11Speaker 1: foxhole bet. We told people to take it at four,
- 11:13Speaker 1: take it a three and a half. It's down to three,
- 11:14Speaker 1: down to three and a half in a lot of books,
- 11:16Speaker 1: just a pro number. So it wasn't shocking here. And
- 11:19Speaker 1: then the second biggest one they all talked about was
- 11:21Speaker 1: that Vikings game. So coming up in the show, you'll
- 11:23Speaker 1: hear someone against this pick. But we hit it right
- 11:25Speaker 1: on the head. We knew this this number kind of stunk.
- 11:29Speaker 1: We knew that the pros are gonna bet this. The
- 11:32Speaker 1: fact that the bookmakers haven't moved back to seven now
- 11:34Speaker 1: it's been two days, it touched like I have alerts
- 11:37Speaker 1: on my phone through our Great Action app. I got
- 11:40Speaker 1: two alerts for seven. I called on my runner, said, hey,
- 11:43Speaker 1: can you make it to our board gotta can you
- 11:44Speaker 1: make it to this other casino and get this number
- 11:46Speaker 1: down real quick. By the time he got there was
- 11:48Speaker 1: already six and a half. By the time he got
- 11:49Speaker 1: to the next casino is already down a six and
- 11:51Speaker 1: a half. So it literally, as we're talking, moved to seven.
- 11:55Speaker 1: All the books are just a couple I see it
- 11:58Speaker 1: at a couple of books in Connecticut. So that's that's
- 12:02Speaker 1: what we're hoping for. So we'll take the seven with him.
- 12:04Speaker 1: It probably moves because I believe they're getting Alexander back,
- 12:08Speaker 1: which is a big, big deal for this Green Bay team.
- 12:11Speaker 1: But my whole right reasoning for liking this Vikings team again,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I people keep reaching out to us about Kirk and
- 12:17Speaker 1: prime time. We have the same numbers. I know how
- 12:20Speaker 1: bad Kirk is in prime time. We just have to
- 12:22Speaker 1: go off the matchups. I can't really let that trend
- 12:24Speaker 1: too much game in my head. Dalvin Cook against this
- 12:26Speaker 1: run defensive Green Bay, I mean, what a match up
- 12:29Speaker 1: advantage to this Vikings team. We just saw Chubb absolutely
- 12:32Speaker 1: tear through them with this Brown's team. We've seen it
- 12:35Speaker 1: week after week. If you run it up the middle
- 12:36Speaker 1: of this Green Bay team, you can kind of dominate
- 12:39Speaker 1: them and you can control the clock. So to me, again,
- 12:42Speaker 1: it's not really changed my view. It's gonna be one
- 12:45Speaker 1: of the more public places of the week then Green
- 12:47Speaker 1: Bay in the Eagles, but be on the other side
- 12:49Speaker 1: of it. I just feel good in week seventeen. You
- 12:51Speaker 1: kind of want to be with a book at this point.
- 12:53Speaker 1: So the fact that we're getting kind of free points
- 12:55Speaker 1: here with Washington, if that could get to four again,
- 12:57Speaker 1: that'd be amazing. Like you just said, the Vikings already
- 13:00Speaker 1: it up to seven again. I'm gonna send a couple
- 13:02Speaker 1: of texts right now and trying to get that number
- 13:04Speaker 1: because to me, it's just not gonna last. I could
- 13:06Speaker 1: just see going back down to six and a half
- 13:07Speaker 1: plus seven minus one fourteen, So it's not gonna last long.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I just bet it at FanDuel here in Connecticut. There
- 13:15Speaker 1: you go. What do you think of that? As we're talking?
- 13:19Speaker 1: All right, well, listen, you got to some of the games,
- 13:21Speaker 1: but we do have to narrow them down. I will
- 13:23Speaker 1: state clearly that I've already made a bunch of bets
- 13:26Speaker 1: based on our conversation the other day. The other day Tennessee,
- 13:29Speaker 1: it got down to minus three from three and a half.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I bet that. I did a bet Atlanta plus fourteen.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I'm feeling a little bit uncomfortable about that. I got
- 13:37Speaker 1: Washington plus four. Again, we're gonna talk to Kansas City
- 13:40Speaker 1: minus five against the Bengals, I bet Baltimore, Minnesota. I
- 13:44Speaker 1: got Pittsburgh plus three and a half. Okay, let's skip
- 13:46Speaker 1: the bucks in the Jets we had, we had circled it.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I don't think we're gonna play it, but let's talk
- 13:51Speaker 1: about the Chiefs and the Bengals. That was one of
- 13:53Speaker 1: the picks that we loved on Tuesday, Chiefs minus five.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Getting a lot of push back on that, and just
- 14:02Speaker 1: quick as side on the Tampa game. It's probably gonna
- 14:04Speaker 1: be in my prop pick for Sunday morning. We when
- 14:07Speaker 1: our show convinced me a b I believe he needs
- 14:10Speaker 1: two hundred yards receiving to hit a bonus. I just
- 14:13Speaker 1: could see time trying to get him there. So the
- 14:15Speaker 1: next two weeks will be all over. There's a bunch
- 14:17Speaker 1: of different players like this, but I love players with
- 14:20Speaker 1: bonuses and veteran quarterbacks who they want to help these
- 14:23Speaker 1: guys out, especially a guy like a b who took
- 14:24Speaker 1: less money or get whatever to be on Tampa to
- 14:27Speaker 1: be with Brady. I can just see Brady trying to
- 14:29Speaker 1: help him. So for me, I'll be on the Jets
- 14:31Speaker 1: in that game and that's a that's a problem, and
- 14:32Speaker 1: be on the way bigger. I'll be on a bunch
- 14:33Speaker 1: of a b props. I knew where to get pushed
- 14:36Speaker 1: back in that Chiefs game. I knew when we said
- 14:37Speaker 1: it just people assume always that will always take the dogs,
- 14:40Speaker 1: especially at home dogs. I just can't do it. We
- 14:43Speaker 1: we talked about all the reasons. I mean, the biggest
- 14:45Speaker 1: one is um the Mahomes factor. The fact that such
- 14:49Speaker 1: a young, inexperienced team in the Bengals, Like someone said, uh,
- 14:54Speaker 1: I think they broke our record. They had the most
- 14:56Speaker 1: they had two receivers over a thousand yards that are
- 14:58Speaker 1: under twenty five, and they had a running act over
- 15:00Speaker 1: a thousand yards and twenty five. So this is just
- 15:02Speaker 1: a very young, inexperienced team. I love the Bengals. I
- 15:06Speaker 1: love their future. I love what they've built. They're they're
- 15:08Speaker 1: gonna make the playoffs. There's no doubt. This is just
- 15:11Speaker 1: a bad spot for them. This is um again. I
- 15:14Speaker 1: heard too that if they win this game that I
- 15:15Speaker 1: don't need to worry about the next week. They win this,
- 15:17Speaker 1: they're actually in the playoffs. Next week is for the
- 15:20Speaker 1: division though. That was my whole point. That's why I
- 15:21Speaker 1: felt like they'd be looking ahead. They want to win
- 15:23Speaker 1: the North. That's that. That means a lot to them,
- 15:26Speaker 1: especially a franchise hasn't won in a long time. So
- 15:29Speaker 1: coming in, I told you I wanted to take the Bengals.
- 15:31Speaker 1: The Bengals were still at seven, seven and a half,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'll be all over it. It's not it's down to five.
- 15:36Speaker 1: The professionals, the public, everyone is coming and bet the
- 15:39Speaker 1: Bengals down to this point. So nothing's changed here. I
- 15:42Speaker 1: still love the Chiefs. I know I might be walking
- 15:45Speaker 1: into or stepping in that the Chiefs are due for
- 15:47Speaker 1: a letdown game. I feel like they've had letdown games
- 15:50Speaker 1: and they've kind of got away with it because their
- 15:51Speaker 1: defense has been that good for them. So their offense,
- 15:54Speaker 1: to me, is clicking into form. They're they're only getting better.
- 15:58Speaker 1: They'll have Travis Kelsey back this week. They're they're they're
- 16:00Speaker 1: going to keep improving on what they've been building so
- 16:03Speaker 1: that that defense, with that offense against this Bengals team,
- 16:07Speaker 1: this line should have been seven. The fact that it's
- 16:09Speaker 1: moved so much just because of what the Bengals did
- 16:10Speaker 1: last week when in such a big game, putting up
- 16:13Speaker 1: so many points against the beat up Ravens teams. It
- 16:16Speaker 1: still feels that we're getting free points here. So to me,
- 16:19Speaker 1: you're getting the number under six. You have to take
- 16:21Speaker 1: it every time. You have to take the Chiefs here,
- 16:23Speaker 1: all right. I mean, I'm I'm siding with you. Whatever
- 16:26Speaker 1: you say on this, I'm going with it is against it. Look,
- 16:30Speaker 1: it's against everything that we would normally do. Right, It's
- 16:33Speaker 1: we've been fading the Chiefs this year, but they're under
- 16:36Speaker 1: a touchdown favorite when they've been over a touchdown favorites
- 16:39Speaker 1: when they've struggled the most. We are impressed with their
- 16:41Speaker 1: defense has done lately. But you can also look and
- 16:44Speaker 1: say their defense is played a Charger team in which
- 16:47Speaker 1: they struggled mightily against the run and one because of
- 16:50Speaker 1: really bad decisions by Brandon Staley. They beat a Giants
- 16:53Speaker 1: team that is terrible. They beat a Broncos team that
- 16:56Speaker 1: they probably should have lost too, because they had four
- 16:58Speaker 1: and fifty yards of offense Uncles did and had some
- 17:01Speaker 1: bad luck around the end zone. So you could easily
- 17:06Speaker 1: look at this and say that everything the Chiefs are
- 17:08Speaker 1: doing well is the opposite of what we need. I
- 17:10Speaker 1: do think it's interesting, like you just said, you just
- 17:13Speaker 1: said they're They've got all these young players the Bengals,
- 17:16Speaker 1: who have done all these amazing things under twenty five,
- 17:19Speaker 1: But that also shows their inexperienced, right, And so we're
- 17:22Speaker 1: using the fact they're amazing to highlight the inexperience. I'm
- 17:28Speaker 1: not sure i'd buy that logic Simon saying that they've
- 17:31Speaker 1: had an amazing season, But again, look at who they played.
- 17:35Speaker 1: The North is at af C. North is absolutely terrible
- 17:37Speaker 1: this season. So like, yeah, I'm giving them a bunch
- 17:39Speaker 1: of respect, a bunch of props. It's about to get
- 17:42Speaker 1: real from that was my whole point. Like they've had,
- 17:43Speaker 1: they put up all these incredible numbers. Now they're now
- 17:46Speaker 1: they're the cream of the crop. The best team they
- 17:49Speaker 1: have seen the last four years. Are wably the best
- 17:52Speaker 1: coach of I can't really say because of Belichick, but
- 17:54Speaker 1: it's been Belichick, if not Belichick, than Andy Reid is
- 17:58Speaker 1: is right there getting a lot more read it. Yes,
- 18:01Speaker 1: So that that's my whole point. It's like the coach
- 18:04Speaker 1: the coaching mismatch, including the youth, the youth of the Bengals.
- 18:08Speaker 1: That's why I think is gonna end up hurting them
- 18:09Speaker 1: in this game. It's just it's it's gonna be too
- 18:11Speaker 1: much for them to overcome. All right, So now we
- 18:14Speaker 1: know on on Tuesday when we talked about the Raiders
- 18:16Speaker 1: and the Colts, the Colts were two and a half
- 18:18Speaker 1: point favorites and Carson Wentz had just been ruled out.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Now we know it's Sam Ellinger and it's going to
- 18:24Speaker 1: be quarterback. But this line is now shot back up
- 18:27Speaker 1: to six and a half. So basically what happened was
- 18:30Speaker 1: the NFL changed their protocol. The CDC came out and
- 18:33Speaker 1: they changed it to five days of quarantine. So literally,
- 18:38Speaker 1: Darius Leonard, the star linebacker, he was supposed to be
- 18:41Speaker 1: out this upcoming week under the old guidelines because he
- 18:44Speaker 1: tested positive and I think it was ten days, so
- 18:47Speaker 1: he was gonna supposed to miss this week. He just
- 18:49Speaker 1: got cleared today. He was at practice today Leonard for
- 18:51Speaker 1: the cold. So they changed the guidelines where Carson, if
- 18:55Speaker 1: he comes in Saturday or maybe it's Sunday morning, gets
- 18:58Speaker 1: his temperature checked and he's below the threshold whatever it
- 19:01Speaker 1: is degrees, he can play. Um, he doesn't need to
- 19:05Speaker 1: take a test to pass, he just needs a pass
- 19:07Speaker 1: the temperature check. So basically NFL has sold their soul.
- 19:10Speaker 1: They don't care anymore. They're like, you know what, we're
- 19:12Speaker 1: sucking over this bullshit. We need the money, we need
- 19:15Speaker 1: the ratings. We don't want people complaining about star athletes
- 19:17Speaker 1: missing playoff games. We don't care if you have COVID.
- 19:20Speaker 1: If you if you don't have any symptoms and your
- 19:21Speaker 1: temperatures blow a certain level, you can play. So it's gross,
- 19:26Speaker 1: it's grimy. But Carson might be back. He tested positive,
- 19:29Speaker 1: I believe Monday morning. In five days Saturday he passed
- 19:34Speaker 1: that temperature check, he'll be in there. So the bookmakers
- 19:36Speaker 1: are hanging that line because they don't want any more
- 19:37Speaker 1: exposure to that Colts number. Um they got they probably
- 19:40Speaker 1: got hit hard when the CDC came out in the
- 19:43Speaker 1: NFL changes are ruling on that one and a half. Whatever,
- 19:45Speaker 1: they're hanging that colds number. They're they're just gonna play
- 19:48Speaker 1: it safe and they'll just leave it up there for now.
- 19:49Speaker 1: So for me, if you missed that one a half
- 19:52Speaker 1: two and a half of the Colts, I'd wait, just
- 19:54Speaker 1: wait until you know Carson's back. I would not be
- 19:56Speaker 1: betting that, betting real money on this rookie quarterback at
- 19:59Speaker 1: this point. So just keep waiting. You already missed the
- 20:01Speaker 1: best of the number that there's not much you can
- 20:02Speaker 1: do with it now. Alright, So we talked a lot
- 20:04Speaker 1: about the Washington football team, but we should you know,
- 20:07Speaker 1: we made it. We talked a lot about it on
- 20:08Speaker 1: Tuesday too. It was our Foxhole bet. It was at
- 20:12Speaker 1: plus four. We loved it. Then Overreaction Special of the Week. Right,
- 20:19Speaker 1: you're talking about the Washington football team that just got destroyed.
- 20:24Speaker 1: We're talking about an Eagles team that really struggles in
- 20:28Speaker 1: the first half. Stucky uh and Raybon talking on the
- 20:32Speaker 1: Action Network podcast this morning, had a great stat teams
- 20:37Speaker 1: that don't cover by more than twenty eight points. I
- 20:40Speaker 1: they were blown the funk out like the Washington football
- 20:43Speaker 1: team was this past weekends Dallas six and five against
- 20:48Speaker 1: the spread. Since two thousand three, bookmakers just bank on
- 20:52Speaker 1: public overreactions. Everyone in Vegas loves this game. You mentioned it.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You got calls from eight different groups that love this game,
- 20:59Speaker 1: washing and a football team bang it again. I try
- 21:03Speaker 1: to tell people a time, a lot of these groups
- 21:04Speaker 1: are calling me because they want me to make bets
- 21:06Speaker 1: for them in New Jersey. That's honestly why a lot
- 21:08Speaker 1: of these guys reach out to me. It's just there
- 21:10Speaker 1: might be two books that take professional money in Vegas,
- 21:14Speaker 1: New Jersey. It's easy to spread it out. I mean,
- 21:17Speaker 1: you can get a thousand down on twenty different books.
- 21:19Speaker 1: That's a twenty k bet. Instead of really popping up
- 21:21Speaker 1: on these books radars, you're gonna spread it out. So
- 21:24Speaker 1: that's a lot of the reason a lot of these
- 21:25Speaker 1: guys are calling me talking talking about Washington is just
- 21:28Speaker 1: they're trying to get that four. That that that was
- 21:30Speaker 1: the biggest thing. A lot of people reaching out because
- 21:31Speaker 1: they wanted that plus four. So the that's a good number.
- 21:35Speaker 1: By stuck in them, I bet you it goes even
- 21:37Speaker 1: higher in divisional matchups. Um. But the biggest thing is
- 21:41Speaker 1: just Washington has a great run defense up front, and
- 21:44Speaker 1: we've seen it with Hurts. He's inconsistent. The public's gonna
- 21:48Speaker 1: keep coming on this this Eagle's number. That should be
- 21:51Speaker 1: a big warning sign to people that's already come back
- 21:53Speaker 1: down again. Some off shore books have this down to three.
- 21:56Speaker 1: That's a huge, huge red flag of people the best
- 22:00Speaker 1: that's a percent of the money is coming in on
- 22:01Speaker 1: the Eagles, and the line has now moved the full
- 22:03Speaker 1: point from four down to three. That's that's a big sign,
- 22:07Speaker 1: a big winning sign not to be taking the Eagles.
- 22:09Speaker 1: So as we sit here, if this line is three
- 22:11Speaker 1: and a half in our contest, how do we not
- 22:14Speaker 1: making one of our five? I agree? I'm with you man.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Let's talk about the Titans game, though I'm skipping over
- 22:22Speaker 1: the Rams and the Ravens. We talked a little bit
- 22:23Speaker 1: about it. Too much, too much stuff, we don't know.
- 22:27Speaker 1: We just just for clarity. We both like the Falcons
- 22:31Speaker 1: as big dogs against the Bills. Market is kind of
- 22:33Speaker 1: in agreement with us only in that it moved from
- 22:36Speaker 1: like sixteen to fourteen and is basically wavered between fourteen
- 22:40Speaker 1: and fourteen and a half. Titans have not moved. There
- 22:42Speaker 1: are three and a half against the Dolphins. Everybody who's
- 22:46Speaker 1: professional likes the Titans this week. Yeah, you saw it.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Though you did see a little bit of movement. It
- 22:50Speaker 1: came down to three. So some pro group on Miami
- 22:53Speaker 1: they moved it. Then way more money came back in
- 22:56Speaker 1: on Tennessee and went, we're right back up. And it
- 22:58Speaker 1: might have moved just for couple of hours and it
- 23:00Speaker 1: was shot back up three and a half. You know
- 23:02Speaker 1: more better than me, Like, I don't, I know stuck
- 23:05Speaker 1: he hates Miami. I'm sure he's all over this Tennessee.
- 23:09Speaker 1: His his simple reason. It's just gonna be what a
- 23:11Speaker 1: lot of people are looking at. It's like Miami hasn't
- 23:13Speaker 1: been anyone on this one streak. Who are they to,
- 23:16Speaker 1: you know, be under six points against the Tennessee team
- 23:19Speaker 1: that has been proven has been beating good teams while injured.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I mean they were beating teams while they had key
- 23:26Speaker 1: guys out. Now they're gonna allow these key guys back.
- 23:28Speaker 1: So yeah, I know, what's your scrutual lepics. So you
- 23:31Speaker 1: already love it, You're already in on it, Tennessee. If
- 23:34Speaker 1: you're getting under four, under five, it's a great number.
- 23:37Speaker 1: You have to take it and just live with the result.
- 23:39Speaker 1: It's this number should be six. Um. Maybe the bookmakers
- 23:43Speaker 1: are kind of lanter trap here, and I'm walking into it.
- 23:45Speaker 1: The fact that so much public money has come in
- 23:47Speaker 1: on Miami and some pro money and they moved it down,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I means there is someone betting that other side, which
- 23:52Speaker 1: makes me feel better because if it was eight of
- 23:54Speaker 1: the money apes on the tickets on Tennessee, yeah, I
- 23:57Speaker 1: might have to be like, okay, we need to take
- 23:58Speaker 1: a step back. We might be walking in the one.
- 24:00Speaker 1: It's not that kind of describancy. It's pretty even across
- 24:03Speaker 1: the board, so I it could be the public we're
- 24:06Speaker 1: riding with here, but I got no issue with that.
- 24:07Speaker 1: I just like that Tennessee number. I think it's a
- 24:09Speaker 1: smart number. Remember the Titans, Baby, the Vikings, and the Packers.
- 24:15Speaker 1: So I mentioned that Scooch is going to come on later,
- 24:18Speaker 1: the originator of the Scooch roulette game. He's gonna make
- 24:22Speaker 1: a Scooch re let pick. It may or may not
- 24:24Speaker 1: involve this game. We love the Vikings here. Big balls
- 24:29Speaker 1: better the week, Big balls better the week. So much
- 24:36Speaker 1: pushback from our followers, Oh my god, I get it.
- 24:40Speaker 1: People hate betting Kirk in prime time. We know we
- 24:43Speaker 1: have to take this number. It's so implay. I think
- 24:47Speaker 1: those prime time There are systems that matter, that have
- 24:52Speaker 1: data sets that are huge. There are gimmicks. This feels
- 24:57Speaker 1: like a fucking gimmick. It is glaring though, I I want,
- 25:01Speaker 1: I gotta look it up because that people keep posting it.
- 25:03Speaker 1: But I think it was like two and nine against
- 25:05Speaker 1: the spread in primetime games, something crazy like that. But
- 25:09Speaker 1: it's too much. It's too big of a number in
- 25:11Speaker 1: a matchup, and especially with Green Bay. Is the public darling,
- 25:15Speaker 1: we we knew. I'm on some chalk this week. I'm
- 25:18Speaker 1: not gonna lie. I've actually flipped from the Cardinals to
- 25:20Speaker 1: the Cowboys. I'm on the Cowboys now. Um, the more
- 25:23Speaker 1: tape I've watched, the more I have numbers I've looked
- 25:25Speaker 1: into this one. I haven't changed. If anything, I feel
- 25:28Speaker 1: even better about my posiness on the Vikings. The fact
- 25:30Speaker 1: that Dalvin Cook is now back for this Vikings team.
- 25:33Speaker 1: His run style is perfect for a matchup against the
- 25:36Speaker 1: green Bay run defense. They hate running backs with speed
- 25:39Speaker 1: and power that go up the middle. That's one of
- 25:42Speaker 1: the worst things they're at the defending green Bay this year.
- 25:45Speaker 1: That's exactly what Dalvin Cook does. He is a man
- 25:47Speaker 1: with speed and power, so looking at this across the board.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Chad just talked about it. It moved up to seven.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Grabbed that seven if you can. I'm worried about by
- 25:56Speaker 1: the time you're here this, we'll be back on a
- 25:57Speaker 1: six and a half, which still is fine. I'm I'll
- 26:00Speaker 1: have you taking a six and a half. Just a
- 26:02Speaker 1: proverset shows game. Like Chad talked about it, it's a
- 26:04Speaker 1: primetime game. Everyone all their all their money line parlay's,
- 26:08Speaker 1: all their teasers, everything's gonna end Sunday night tied to
- 26:11Speaker 1: this game. We're getting to three points of value just
- 26:14Speaker 1: because of that. The bookmakers they had to pump this lineup,
- 26:18Speaker 1: just you know, factoring all that money coming in on
- 26:20Speaker 1: those money on parlays and teasers. So as long as
- 26:23Speaker 1: you're getting six and a half, I still love this number.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Why did you flip on the Cardinals and the Cowboys?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Like that was a game that you know, it was
- 26:32Speaker 1: at five and a half on Tuesday, it's at four
- 26:34Speaker 1: and a half now I think I'm not sure, Like,
- 26:38Speaker 1: is it because the number moved down a little bit
- 26:41Speaker 1: like it was it was? It should have been a
- 26:42Speaker 1: three or three and a half. Anyways, I honestly looked
- 26:45Speaker 1: through it. It's just the issues. Let me correct myself
- 26:48Speaker 1: though I'm seeing it at six now. So it went
- 26:51Speaker 1: down and came back up again. I talked to a
- 26:53Speaker 1: couple of pros who liked Alas and that maybe you
- 26:56Speaker 1: had me start wavering. But it was when I went
- 26:58Speaker 1: back and looked at the numbers, looked at the film.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Him on Kyler on third down since he's come back
- 27:02Speaker 1: from his injury. If you just take Hopkins out on
- 27:05Speaker 1: his third down place, it's crazy how reliant he is
- 27:09Speaker 1: on his own legs and Connor. And I know Connor
- 27:12Speaker 1: is supposed to be back this week for them at
- 27:13Speaker 1: running back for Arizona. That's a big deal for them.
- 27:16Speaker 1: But they've they've they've put too much on Kyler. They've
- 27:19Speaker 1: put too much on the shoulders of a guy who
- 27:21Speaker 1: he just isn't right. He's not making the right reads.
- 27:24Speaker 1: He doesn't have his speed right now. Like that that
- 27:27Speaker 1: guy catching him against the Colts from behind. I was
- 27:29Speaker 1: shocked by that. Kyler looked like he was gonna break
- 27:31Speaker 1: away running for a touchdown. He got a call from behind,
- 27:33Speaker 1: which is very rare for him. So I I hate
- 27:37Speaker 1: taking the tralk, I really do. And it's like painful
- 27:39Speaker 1: to do, especially with the Cowboys that I said that
- 27:42Speaker 1: this line is over in flay with the Cowboys just
- 27:44Speaker 1: because they've been covering Machine and the books know that
- 27:46Speaker 1: they can't take the public keep winning. You know, a
- 27:49Speaker 1: guy I a bookmaker, really talked to the other night
- 27:52Speaker 1: said their biggest liability for this coming weekend is the
- 27:56Speaker 1: Dallas Green Bay teasers. He says, every single person coming
- 28:00Speaker 1: and done two team teasers. He says, it's like ten
- 28:03Speaker 1: to one the money compared to the next closest teasers.
- 28:05Speaker 1: So it's rare for me to take the trunk like
- 28:08Speaker 1: I am. But with this Cowboys matchup, it's who do
- 28:11Speaker 1: I trust more on key downs, third downs have consistent
- 28:16Speaker 1: good drives. It's the Cowboys right now. I've seen it
- 28:19Speaker 1: from them the last couple of weeks. I try to
- 28:21Speaker 1: go against him because I thought Dak was banged up
- 28:23Speaker 1: and he had him in playing well. Even with that,
- 28:26Speaker 1: it's not gonna matter if you can run the ball
- 28:27Speaker 1: with Pollard and zeke Eli against this really banged up
- 28:30Speaker 1: front of the Cardinals, it doesn't really matter what that's
- 28:32Speaker 1: gonna be doing. So it's rare, Like you said, I
- 28:35Speaker 1: don't really flip to a talk favorite, but I did
- 28:37Speaker 1: in this case. Is there a number you wouldn't bet
- 28:40Speaker 1: it at, Like it's already at six, that's it. Like six,
- 28:43Speaker 1: I'd still take it at six, But once it hit
- 28:45Speaker 1: six and a half seven, I'm off of it, all right.
- 28:49Speaker 1: The last game, I gotta talk about the Steelers and
- 28:51Speaker 1: the Browns. The Browns are three and a half point favorites.
- 28:54Speaker 1: We love the Steelers at three and a half in
- 28:56Speaker 1: this spot. That is your Scooter Roulette pick. I found
- 28:59Speaker 1: my notes. By the way, Uh, that's your scrupule let pick.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I know why. It makes total sense. We loved it
- 29:07Speaker 1: so fucked um. I got a couple gotta get some
- 29:10Speaker 1: pushback on this. Obviously, some pros they like the Browns
- 29:13Speaker 1: in this position. I just have to look beyond just
- 29:16Speaker 1: the numbers on paper. Again, it was Tom Win coming
- 29:19Speaker 1: home after an embarrassing loss, coming home to play you know,
- 29:23Speaker 1: a Browns team that they had a close loss last
- 29:25Speaker 1: weekdndstre But they weren't really that embarrassed. I mean there,
- 29:28Speaker 1: they're a hungry team. Pittsburgh. This is it. This is
- 29:32Speaker 1: literally their season. This is Ben Roethlisberger's last home game.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Apparently of his career, Like he said, he told a
- 29:38Speaker 1: couple report He's not gonna say it's his last game,
- 29:40Speaker 1: but he think, he says, he's pretty sure this is
- 29:42Speaker 1: it for him. I had to put all that emotion
- 29:44Speaker 1: into this line. I can't just be a robot and
- 29:46Speaker 1: just look at this and be like, oh, this line
- 29:48Speaker 1: should be three. The Browns are better tell on the
- 29:50Speaker 1: paper and maybe I'll just take the Browns here. No,
- 29:53Speaker 1: when when I made this line, I made a minus
- 29:54Speaker 1: one for the Pittsburgh. I still think I'm getting four
- 29:57Speaker 1: and a half points of value. I'll still take Pittsburgh.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I know it's me the public side. They're a public dog.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Please don't talk to me about more victories. Are that
- 30:04Speaker 1: be disrespectful to those guys in the room. Maybe some
- 30:07Speaker 1: pro groups coming on the Cleveland. That's why they've kept
- 30:09Speaker 1: it this way. But how it was positive, by today
- 30:12Speaker 1: it would be down to three. And the fact that
- 30:13Speaker 1: it's still three and a half little scary, little scary
- 30:16Speaker 1: um because the bookmakers are not doing this any favorites.
- 30:19Speaker 1: They don't want to give us an extra hook for free.
- 30:22Speaker 1: They want you to pay for that hook. They want
- 30:24Speaker 1: to move to three and make some sucker pay minus
- 30:27Speaker 1: to buy the hook up. So it is interesting that
- 30:30Speaker 1: line hasn't moved, but nothing's changed. I'm still betting it.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I've still bet it every day this week Ben Alsberger's
- 30:36Speaker 1: last home game. Tomlin that defense, ra Ra, Let's go
- 30:41Speaker 1: what ra Ra? Mike Tomlin spot. I haven't heard anything
- 30:51Speaker 1: that we've discussed. I haven't seen anything in the line
- 30:53Speaker 1: moves the past couple of days that makes me feel
- 30:55Speaker 1: differently about what we're thinking about for Sunday, Chiefs minus
- 30:59Speaker 1: five love its Steelers plus three and a half. Nervous
- 31:02Speaker 1: but still like it tightens minus three and a half.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I want to marry it. Washington Football Team. If you
- 31:07Speaker 1: can get it plus four, it pops back up great.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Plus three and a half is still good. That is
- 31:11Speaker 1: the game that every wise guy is circling. It is
- 31:15Speaker 1: a big pros Joe's game. Big bets on the UH
- 31:19Speaker 1: side of the Eagles, big money on the side of
- 31:21Speaker 1: the football team and the Titans minus three and a half?
- 31:25Speaker 1: What Steelers, Titans vikes Washington Football Team? Chiefs, Yeah, and
- 31:30Speaker 1: again we might shuffle one in there, like maybe I'll
- 31:32Speaker 1: convinced Chad if something comes Sunday. But I love those five.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I bet all those five multiple times. It's just there's very,
- 31:40Speaker 1: very little that will change from now until then unless
- 31:42Speaker 1: some COVID news breaks out. Like again, if pat Patrick
- 31:46Speaker 1: Mahomes is out for this game, yes, I'm buying out
- 31:49Speaker 1: in my Chiefs position. But you know, if all these
- 31:52Speaker 1: guys pass their COVID test, nothing's gonna change here. I
- 31:55Speaker 1: have bet all those games plus Atlanta plus fourteen and
- 31:58Speaker 1: uh Baltimore plus four are immediately regretful. Simon, we did
- 32:03Speaker 1: our big balls reminder, our foxhol was the Washington football team,
- 32:09Speaker 1: Simon says, with Pittsburgh Foxhil was Washington football team, big
- 32:12Speaker 1: balls better the week we just did Minnesota Vikings. Should
- 32:18Speaker 1: we run through our round robin? Yeah, let's do it
- 32:21Speaker 1: round robin? This alright, tricky, right, Yeah, It's it's tough
- 32:28Speaker 1: because there's teams I can see covering as these dogs,
- 32:30Speaker 1: but I just can't see them winning out right, Like,
- 32:32Speaker 1: I bet a little bit on the Minnesota Vikings money line.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I think Aaron Rodgers is like eleven and O or
- 32:37Speaker 1: twelve and oh at Lambeau in December, You're not really
- 32:40Speaker 1: getting great value taking Minnesota's money line against that kind
- 32:43Speaker 1: of number. But you got the big balls and you
- 32:45Speaker 1: want to bet with me, I'll be taking them in
- 32:47Speaker 1: my amount of money line round Robin, let's get gross,
- 32:50Speaker 1: Buddy shocked the world gross. How can we not take
- 32:54Speaker 1: Atlanta's moneyline against the Bills. That's a huge number. Don't
- 32:58Speaker 1: feel good about it. It's like it's either then were
- 33:00Speaker 1: the Jets. I honestly I feel better about taking Atlanta.
- 33:03Speaker 1: We're in Atlanta Falcons podcast. We are, and you just
- 33:06Speaker 1: need you need to throw in some big lvy dogs
- 33:08Speaker 1: in this thing. It's just to pay out so so nice.
- 33:11Speaker 1: It's like again, I'm kicking myself from missing out on
- 33:13Speaker 1: Houston last week. Like that plus five. God, you love
- 33:16Speaker 1: to take those, all right, So we got Atlanta, Minnesota.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Minnesota are not taking Washington. Washington football team, the Bengals.
- 33:28Speaker 1: People can say what they want. I'm all way and
- 33:29Speaker 1: see if it's Teddy Covers Denver members up a six
- 33:32Speaker 1: and a half at this point, maybe the bookmakers know
- 33:35Speaker 1: that it's not gonna be Teddy. I have we're sitting
- 33:37Speaker 1: here on Thursday. If it comes today morning, it's Teddy.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I guarantee people, this will be one of my five
- 33:43Speaker 1: and to cap it off Houston, they're playing against the
- 33:46Speaker 1: rookie and tray Lands shock the world. Davis Mills went
- 33:49Speaker 1: back to back plus five hundred as a dog for us. Uh,
- 33:53Speaker 1: I know, I'm pretty sure when I saw it before
- 33:56Speaker 1: we came on. They're probably the biggest public dog this week,
- 33:59Speaker 1: right Houston. It's it's terrifying, but we have to do it.
- 34:02Speaker 1: It's it's Trey Lance making a start here. Let's fade
- 34:05Speaker 1: it and try to get try to get lucky two
- 34:06Speaker 1: weeks in a row and have this Houston team. Uh,
- 34:09Speaker 1: it is gross. But as you've said, Davis Mills, he
- 34:12Speaker 1: might be better than Trevor Lawrence right now. That's fact.
- 34:17Speaker 1: And if you don't mind waiting Forest Pittsburgh, I've add
- 34:20Speaker 1: Pittsburgh and all my money line round Robins. It's just
- 34:22Speaker 1: a lot of people don't like wait until Monday night.
- 34:25Speaker 1: And you also mentioned Texas the biggest public dog this
- 34:28Speaker 1: week of the bets on the Texans right now. Yeah,
- 34:32Speaker 1: they might be dead that that might be dead on arrival,
- 34:35Speaker 1: but d o A, yeah, that's you don't want to
- 34:39Speaker 1: you do not want to be hearing that when you
- 34:40Speaker 1: take a big dog, that's never a good side at
- 34:42Speaker 1: this point in the season, is there is it worth
- 34:45Speaker 1: doing a Survivor? Is there anything left? I've had a
- 34:47Speaker 1: couple of people reach out, but it's like less than
- 34:50Speaker 1: one percent of our fan base. I would say, trust
- 34:53Speaker 1: what guy you here. I'll throw something out Sunday morning
- 34:55Speaker 1: about what my numbers are saying the value is for
- 34:57Speaker 1: the survivor. But I don't know, because I just don't
- 35:00Speaker 1: know where you're gonna have at this point, Like, what
- 35:02Speaker 1: do you have left possible at this point? Yeah? So
- 35:05Speaker 1: to me, if there's teams you've been saving, just like
- 35:08Speaker 1: the bullet and ticket, if you've been saving the Buccaneers
- 35:10Speaker 1: for this matchup against the Jets, yeah, any given Sunday,
- 35:13Speaker 1: weird chick can happen. But I mean, how do you
- 35:16Speaker 1: not take the Bucks. If you've been saving him this
- 35:17Speaker 1: whole season for this Jets matchup, you have to take it.
- 35:20Speaker 1: So I would say at this point, stop saving, stop
- 35:22Speaker 1: playing ahead. Just get through the week and get to
- 35:24Speaker 1: the final week. You have two weeks left for the
- 35:25Speaker 1: Survivor contest. Just take the good teams. You've got nothing
- 35:28Speaker 1: to save for. We've done all we can do. We've
- 35:31Speaker 1: done the sharp calls, We've given the five picks that
- 35:33Speaker 1: we still love. Washington Football Team plus three and a half,
- 35:36Speaker 1: Bikes plus seven, even six and a half, Titans minus
- 35:39Speaker 1: three and a half, Steelers plus three and a half,
- 35:41Speaker 1: Chieps minus five. We will evaluate these on Sunday. Watch

- 38:30Speaker 1: I'm doing great. Thank you for inviting me back on
- 38:32Speaker 1: the show. And I didn't realize how much I missed this.
- 38:35Speaker 1: You did, right, You totally miss being on the show. Yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 1: I did. I texted you a few weeks ago and
- 38:40Speaker 1: I said, you know, I'm just thinking about you and
- 38:43Speaker 1: the show, and I can't believe it's been that long
- 38:44Speaker 1: since Uh, no, I haven't been on it. Well, listen,
- 38:47Speaker 1: you could have been on forever. And the truth is,
- 38:50Speaker 1: if you stayed on, then our our new co host,
- 38:54Speaker 1: professional better, Simon Hunter, he wouldn't have been able to
- 38:57Speaker 1: be on the show, or the three of us would
- 39:00Speaker 1: have been on the show and we could have like
- 39:02Speaker 1: we could have been the new Three Amigos. Simon. Let's
- 39:05Speaker 1: say hello to Bob Scucci. Hello Bob, and there's still
- 39:08Speaker 1: an open seat. If Bob ever finds he's got enough
- 39:10Speaker 1: free time to come back and he wants to make
- 39:12Speaker 1: it three Amigoes. I would love that you get a
- 39:14Speaker 1: pro perspective, a bookmaker perspective, and whatever the hell Chad does.
- 39:20Speaker 1: That's that's pretty tending. Boy. I gotta consider that. Well, well, Simon,
- 39:23Speaker 1: you're you're doing a fantastic job. So I don't know
- 39:26Speaker 1: if I could live up to that by coming back
- 39:28Speaker 1: on the show. Listen, we're thrilled you're on. It's the
- 39:30Speaker 1: last show of the year. Obviously one have been crazy
- 39:35Speaker 1: around the world. People managing it as best they can,
- 39:39Speaker 1: but it has been there. There are specific questions we
- 39:42Speaker 1: want to ask you. It has been insane for sports
- 39:45Speaker 1: betting the last two years. Obviously, so many states legalizing,
- 39:49Speaker 1: more people being introduced to gambling. Simon is going to
- 39:51Speaker 1: kick it off with his first question. I know you've
- 39:54Speaker 1: been in the business a long time since the eighties.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Could you ever envisioned you'd have back to back months
- 40:00Speaker 1: of taking in a billion dollars in bets at the
- 40:02Speaker 1: sports books in Las Vegas. No. You know a lot
- 40:05Speaker 1: of my colleagues and I used to talk about whenever
- 40:08Speaker 1: we would legalize sports betting around the country and how
- 40:12Speaker 1: that would affect Las Vegas and all the different scenarios
- 40:14Speaker 1: that we kind of thought of. It's not panning out
- 40:18Speaker 1: in any way that we envisioned it. It's much better
- 40:22Speaker 1: and different than than we imagined it. I mean, the
- 40:25Speaker 1: different players involved in everything. But in Las Vegas we
- 40:28Speaker 1: benefited just as much as all the other states that
- 40:31Speaker 1: have legalized sports betting around the country. So No, to
- 40:35Speaker 1: answer the question, I never would have envisioned it as
- 40:38Speaker 1: as massive and as big and as popular as it is.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Uh exceeded all my expectations. Scoot, you are the bookmaker
- 40:46Speaker 1: of the world. At least you always were. I have
- 40:50Speaker 1: a follow up question of what you just said, which
- 40:51Speaker 1: is you and I obviously we've known each other for
- 40:55Speaker 1: more than twenty years. Like when we started doing this
- 40:58Speaker 1: podcast together, it was because when I wrote The Odds,
- 41:00Speaker 1: when I reported The Odds, it was about the guys
- 41:03Speaker 1: at the start ust were you one of the bookmakers,
- 41:05Speaker 1: and you told the best stories and had the best
- 41:07Speaker 1: way of translating what was happening behind the counter for
- 41:11Speaker 1: the common man. Ten years ago, eleven years ago, I
- 41:14Speaker 1: was in Vegas. I was doing a story for East
- 41:16Speaker 1: six D and ESPN, and I said to you, what
- 41:18Speaker 1: happens if it becomes legal? And you said, it's like
- 41:21Speaker 1: Disney World. People will do it in their state and
- 41:24Speaker 1: then they want to come to Nevada and experience it
- 41:27Speaker 1: for real. So you say, it's different than how you
- 41:29Speaker 1: imagined it. What did you imagine it would be? I
- 41:32Speaker 1: remember that vividly. I compared gambling to kind of your
- 41:35Speaker 1: local amusement park with a roller coaster and introducing people
- 41:40Speaker 1: to the amusement park and then eventually they want to
- 41:42Speaker 1: go to Disney World. But um, that was really before, uh,
- 41:47Speaker 1: the the explosion of mobile and online wagering. That's really
- 41:51Speaker 1: the part that has exploded even more so than retail.
- 41:54Speaker 1: So it's different than just opening up a retail sports
- 41:59Speaker 1: book physical sports book in in a casino or racetrack
- 42:03Speaker 1: or or an arena. The online business is really where
- 42:08Speaker 1: all all the money is and all the explosion is.
- 42:11Speaker 1: What about in game? Remember we talked about that all
- 42:13Speaker 1: the time too, and you were trying to figure out
- 42:15Speaker 1: is it gonna matter, what's it gonna be? It was
- 42:17Speaker 1: huge in Europe. I remember you once made fun of
- 42:20Speaker 1: me for thinking it was such a big deal. Yeah,
- 42:25Speaker 1: it's still I mean, it's still growing. And uh, that's
- 42:29Speaker 1: probably another area I underestimate. It Probably didn't see as
- 42:34Speaker 1: much value in football as there is because of the
- 42:38Speaker 1: fast pace of the game, and I thought maybe people
- 42:41Speaker 1: would be too engrossed in watching the game to kind
- 42:43Speaker 1: of move away to start betting during the game on
- 42:46Speaker 1: specific props. And I think to some extent that's still true.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I think because most of the in game wagering is
- 42:53Speaker 1: still on just who's gonna win the game and the total,
- 42:55Speaker 1: whether the total is gonna go over or under, So
- 42:58Speaker 1: a lot of the hundreds of different prop that you know,
- 43:00Speaker 1: we now offer, I still think the majority is just
- 43:04Speaker 1: who's gonna win the game. We've seen sports books now
- 43:06Speaker 1: about to really not just fully upgrade their sports books.
- 43:09Speaker 1: They're really I mean they're doing amazing stuff now, especially
- 43:11Speaker 1: in Vegas. We've got sports books are outdoor pool bars
- 43:14Speaker 1: and big screens and everything like that. Where do you
- 43:17Speaker 1: see it going in ten years? Like? Is it going
- 43:19Speaker 1: to keep getting even bigger and more glamorous? Are we
- 43:21Speaker 1: gonna have a two billion dollar month for Las Vegas?
- 43:25Speaker 1: Like these things don't feel like they're that far off,
- 43:27Speaker 1: you know, five ten years away. There's no plateau ng
- 43:30Speaker 1: in the UH in the growing of sports betting. I mean,
- 43:33Speaker 1: even during the pandemic. I mean we've had two of
- 43:35Speaker 1: the biggest years in terms of gross sports bets in
- 43:40Speaker 1: Nevada during the pandemic one and and you hit the
- 43:44Speaker 1: nail on the head with kind of the immersive experience
- 43:47Speaker 1: of sports betting. It's more than just placing a bet
- 43:50Speaker 1: and that's it. You have kind of the whole experience.
- 43:54Speaker 1: We the traditional sports book in Las Vegas from twenty
- 43:57Speaker 1: years ago, this giant, cavernous place enclosed with screens and seats,
- 44:03Speaker 1: that's kind of going away and being replaced with kind
- 44:07Speaker 1: of a lounge kind of uh an experience where you
- 44:11Speaker 1: could come with your buddies and and have food and drink,
- 44:14Speaker 1: watch the game, make bets. It's kind of this whole
- 44:17Speaker 1: fluid area where it's kind of an open space part
- 44:20Speaker 1: of the casino or part of the arena, or part
- 44:22Speaker 1: of the racetrack wherever the retail betting is. So I
- 44:27Speaker 1: think we have just keep transitioning. People are receiving it
- 44:31Speaker 1: very well, and we're getting more and more people that
- 44:34Speaker 1: didn't make wagers before, so we're expanding the demographics. Scooch,
- 44:39Speaker 1: you're a big executive at Boy Gaming. Uh, it's why
- 44:43Speaker 1: you stopped doing the podcast is because your job was
- 44:45Speaker 1: changing and you felt like you weren't as connected to
- 44:47Speaker 1: the games, and you weren't making lines, and you know,
- 44:50Speaker 1: you weren't sort of part of the day to day
- 44:52Speaker 1: process of making the numbers. How much do you miss
- 44:54Speaker 1: making the numbers? That's the part I missed the absolute most.
- 44:59Speaker 1: And I'm not even kidding you know. We've partnered with
- 45:02Speaker 1: with fan Duel for uh our non Nevada sports books,
- 45:06Speaker 1: So we have twenty sports books now across seven states,
- 45:09Speaker 1: and we leverage the you know, the FanDuel trading team,
- 45:13Speaker 1: the Flutter trading team, and I talked with those guys
- 45:16Speaker 1: all the time. That's the part that I miss, And
- 45:19Speaker 1: there's just this excitement even when I talk about it,
- 45:21Speaker 1: and we when I when I meet with those guys
- 45:23Speaker 1: and I talked with the trading team, I'm like, you know,
- 45:26Speaker 1: that's the part I miss. And they even realize it
- 45:29Speaker 1: because they say, boy, your eyes just light up and
- 45:31Speaker 1: you seem like so excited when you talk about this.
- 45:33Speaker 1: I mean, there's an excitement into the new area of
- 45:36Speaker 1: what I'm doing. I'm looking at, you know, strategic partnerships
- 45:40Speaker 1: and moving into new states and I'm dealing with legislators
- 45:42Speaker 1: and regulators and all the new states, and that's new
- 45:45Speaker 1: and that's different. But the bookmaking is is exciting. That's
- 45:48Speaker 1: really I mean, that's what kept me in the business
- 45:50Speaker 1: all these years, and that's really the part I missed
- 45:53Speaker 1: the most. How often when you're talking to you and Fandol,
- 45:57Speaker 1: who is our sponsor by the way, and this is
- 45:59Speaker 1: just coincidence, you're talking to the trading team, you know
- 46:02Speaker 1: that they're using all this analysis, all this math, all
- 46:05Speaker 1: these algorithms, and you're coming in just knowing it instinctively
- 46:09Speaker 1: what it should be. How often are you on the
- 46:12Speaker 1: same side or the same, like, how close are the
- 46:15Speaker 1: numbers when you guys are sort of having these conversations
- 46:17Speaker 1: between what you know of when you can do it
- 46:20Speaker 1: with a pencil and paper and three consultants, versus what
- 46:23Speaker 1: they're doing with millions of billions of dollars in algorithms.
- 46:26Speaker 1: They're really close, especially in the major in the major sports,
- 46:31Speaker 1: I mean we're talking NFL, they're right there, you know
- 46:34Speaker 1: where where I can't be involved as much as you know,
- 46:38Speaker 1: all the other sports. I mean, we're booking more sports
- 46:41Speaker 1: than we've ever booked before, so you can't. It can't
- 46:44Speaker 1: be in tune to everything. But as far as the
- 46:47Speaker 1: you know, NFL and a lot of the major college
- 46:50Speaker 1: football games, uh, right there. I still have the ability
- 46:54Speaker 1: to change what is being recommended or what's being sent
- 46:59Speaker 1: by buy a particular data feed, so I can detach
- 47:03Speaker 1: from that feed, and I do more and more rarely now.
- 47:07Speaker 1: But you know, Super Bowl and some of the big
- 47:09Speaker 1: games where you do want to have a position, we
- 47:12Speaker 1: still do that. You sound like a fucking sellout. I
- 47:19Speaker 1: just simply don't have the time to do it for
- 47:21Speaker 1: on every on every game. I mean it's when you're
- 47:24Speaker 1: across twenty sports books in seven different states. You have
- 47:28Speaker 1: to have a trading team of you know, a hundred people.
- 47:31Speaker 1: You keep hiring hiring, hiring, or you know, you you
- 47:34Speaker 1: leverage what's already out there, so it's being more efficient.
- 47:38Speaker 1: But I always wondered, you're you're working never really end,
- 47:41Speaker 1: especially when you were a bookmaker. Ore times when you
- 47:44Speaker 1: would go home, and a lot of professionals like me,
- 47:45Speaker 1: we like betting from midnight to three am in Vegas.
- 47:48Speaker 1: That's our favorite time to come and make bets. How
- 47:50Speaker 1: many times have you been woken up and people ask
- 47:52Speaker 1: you can we take this guy's money? Some random guy
- 47:55Speaker 1: just walked in. You've seen the little buzz which again
- 47:58Speaker 1: it's an act. A lot of us will walk in
- 47:59Speaker 1: there were acting we're a little drunk. We'll make big
- 48:01Speaker 1: bets just to get the bookmakers to take our money.
- 48:03Speaker 1: How many times have you been woking up on those
- 48:05Speaker 1: phone calls Saturday night, some guys trying to make some
- 48:07Speaker 1: big bet for someday morning football games. I would keep
- 48:11Speaker 1: my phone next to the bed and and just wait.
- 48:15Speaker 1: You know, it was kind of a very restless sleep,
- 48:17Speaker 1: especially Friday Saturday nights before the big games, and just
- 48:20Speaker 1: wait and just wait for the phone, and you knew
- 48:22Speaker 1: it was going to ring, So it was it was
- 48:24Speaker 1: basically every weekend and all the time. And to that
- 48:28Speaker 1: extent even now, because we now across all the states
- 48:33Speaker 1: that we're in. We'll have a guy that wants to
- 48:36Speaker 1: bet two million on a on a particular college football game,
- 48:40Speaker 1: or three million or or something that's ten to one.
- 48:43Speaker 1: It wants a better million that pays ten million. I'll
- 48:45Speaker 1: get the call, and then you have to make a
- 48:48Speaker 1: decision like right away in some instances, and so you
- 48:51Speaker 1: have to always be available. And I'm still to that extent,
- 48:55Speaker 1: I'm still doing that. It's less and less frequent because
- 48:57Speaker 1: the size of the wagers that require my my call
- 49:01Speaker 1: are much greater, but but I'm still doing that. So
- 49:05Speaker 1: that that Simon, that's a phenomenal question, you know, Scooch.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Back then, if someone's calling you and it's about the
- 49:11Speaker 1: stardust or whatever, it's fifty times or it's a hundred grand,
- 49:15Speaker 1: and now you're saying it could be multiple millions, but
- 49:17Speaker 1: you still got to do the same calculus in your
- 49:19Speaker 1: head in the middle of the night when you're just
- 49:21Speaker 1: waking up, how are you determining what are the questions
- 49:23Speaker 1: you're asking to decide, all right, we're willing to take
- 49:26Speaker 1: this better not. The first one is is he getting
- 49:30Speaker 1: a good line? Is he is he taking advantage of
- 49:32Speaker 1: a real good line? Or is it pretty solid? If
- 49:34Speaker 1: it's a three everywhere in the country, I feel pretty
- 49:38Speaker 1: good about taking the bet. If we're at two and
- 49:40Speaker 1: a half, we let's say we just went to two
- 49:42Speaker 1: and a half and everyone else in the country is
- 49:44Speaker 1: at three, or it's a stale line, or maybe we
- 49:47Speaker 1: didn't move it quick enough something like that, I'd be
- 49:50Speaker 1: less inclined. And then who who's making the wager? Is
- 49:53Speaker 1: it a celebrity, is it somebody like you know? Is
- 49:56Speaker 1: it one of the well known billionaires that like to
- 50:00Speaker 1: make wagers? You know? So who it is, what the
- 50:03Speaker 1: line is? Those are the major factors. And the added
- 50:06Speaker 1: factor that I have to consider now is the property
- 50:09Speaker 1: at which the bets being taken, Because you can't think
- 50:12Speaker 1: of it as just as global operation where all the
- 50:14Speaker 1: money goes into one pool. Whatever casino is taking the bed.
- 50:17Speaker 1: If it's a retail cash wager, then that casino is
- 50:21Speaker 1: on the hook. So in some instances it could be
- 50:24Speaker 1: a really small casino that only does maybe five or
- 50:27Speaker 1: ten million a year in Ibadah, and you're taking a
- 50:30Speaker 1: bet that's gonna wipe out the profits for the entire
- 50:33Speaker 1: year on that casino. Well, then we have to kind
- 50:36Speaker 1: of come up with an alternate plan there. Maybe we
- 50:38Speaker 1: are able to kind of split up the bets somehow
- 50:41Speaker 1: into into one of our other properties, if there's another
- 50:43Speaker 1: property in the state, something like that. But these are
- 50:47Speaker 1: all the things that I have to consider. Anybody who
- 50:50Speaker 1: had the parlay of Scooch saying strategy and ibada on
- 50:58Speaker 1: this podcast, cam gratus As, I'm like, you know, I'm
- 51:04Speaker 1: just thinking about you and me sitting like at that
- 51:09Speaker 1: crappy restaurant in the Mirage, sweating games on a Saturday night,
- 51:13Speaker 1: or going places that we're not allowed to talk about
- 51:15Speaker 1: on the podcast that I wouldn't even write about in
- 51:18Speaker 1: the book. And like, now I got fucking Scooch talking
- 51:22Speaker 1: about strategy and ebitda. Yeah, when you talk about how
- 51:29Speaker 1: I would have been visioned it twenty years ago, that's
- 51:31Speaker 1: another area that I think I handicapped wrong. Jeez, I
- 51:34Speaker 1: don't even know why we're asking your questions. You got
- 51:36Speaker 1: it all wrong. Unbelievable, Matt Mitchell, since Scooch was your
- 51:39Speaker 1: inspiration for leaving your stable job with a young baby
- 51:42Speaker 1: and a bride and getting into the audio business. I
- 51:45Speaker 1: do want you to ask Scoots the one question we
- 51:47Speaker 1: talked about before we jumped on Scooch. One of my
- 51:51Speaker 1: favorite stories you ever told on the podcast What's Right? Uh,
- 51:58Speaker 1: the public had an unusually good week in something like
- 52:01Speaker 1: week fourteen, somewhere right in the pre Christmas window, and
- 52:06Speaker 1: you shared that you actually hated when the public had
- 52:11Speaker 1: great weeks in the one or two weeks leading up
- 52:13Speaker 1: to Christmas, because instead of with with disdain in your voice,
- 52:18Speaker 1: you let us know that instead of reinvesting it in
- 52:20Speaker 1: bets the next week or rolling it over to Monday night,
- 52:23Speaker 1: they would do the disgusting thing and spend it on
- 52:26Speaker 1: Christmas presents for themselves, their children, their loved ones. So
- 52:30Speaker 1: that you you actually preferred weeks seventeen or the or
- 52:33Speaker 1: the earlier weeks. Is that still the case? It's absolutely
- 52:37Speaker 1: And I actually said that two weeks ago because that
- 52:40Speaker 1: we had one of our worst weeks of the entire
- 52:42Speaker 1: NFL season just before Christmas, and I was like, son
- 52:46Speaker 1: of a bit, we're not going to get that money back.
- 52:51Speaker 1: It was the first thing I thought of when it
- 52:53Speaker 1: happened somewhere Bob Scucci's mad I texted my guys and
- 52:59Speaker 1: I was like, this is the worst time this could
- 53:01Speaker 1: have happened, Like the week before, the Sunday before Christmas?
- 53:04Speaker 1: I said, are you kidding me? Excuse before you go,
- 53:09Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you to make a scooch roulette pick.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Are you ready? Wow? Off the cup? Huh? Off the cuff.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Simon has uh the Steelers plus three and a half.
- 53:23Speaker 1: I have Tennessee minus three and a half. You can
- 53:27Speaker 1: make your choice from any other uh, any other games? Well,
- 53:31Speaker 1: I do like Tennessee, so that that would have been
- 53:34Speaker 1: the one that I would have picked. Two bad sucker,
- 53:39Speaker 1: I will go. I will go with the Packers because
- 53:42Speaker 1: they are just as hot as you can be. The
- 53:46Speaker 1: Vikings they just fall apart in the fourth quarter. Even
- 53:49Speaker 1: if they do keep it close, they can't close a game.
- 53:52Speaker 1: And going against the Packers, I don't think they have
- 53:54Speaker 1: a chance. What are you surprisingly square pick from you?
- 54:02Speaker 1: I knew that was coming. This is a classic divisional matchup.
- 54:07Speaker 1: A Vikings team that plays up to the to the
- 54:09Speaker 1: caliber of their opponents, a Packers team that has played
- 54:12Speaker 1: incredible against the spread there due for regression. I am shocked.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I feel like you're laying a trap. You're you're asking
- 54:18Speaker 1: all of our listeners about the packers because because you
- 54:21Speaker 1: know you're gonna need the vikings. Wow. Wow, that's really cynical.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I don't know. It's been a weird fucking year, scitch.
- 54:28Speaker 1: I don't know to tell you. Since you left, I've
- 54:30Speaker 1: lost my warmth and Simon has turned me into an evil, evil,
- 54:33Speaker 1: cynical bastard. I could see that. I could see that
- 54:38Speaker 1: that's your pick. That's your pick. I'll stick with it
- 54:41Speaker 1: all right. Listen, Bob Scucci. It's like the o G
- 54:47Speaker 1: of sports betting, going back too far, going back too
- 54:51Speaker 1: far with me. Simon loves you, Matt Mitchell. You changed
- 54:54Speaker 1: his life. You have changed life for so many people
- 54:56Speaker 1: listening to this podcast. They don't even know it. All
- 54:58Speaker 1: of our new listeners don't even oh how you are
- 55:01Speaker 1: the influence for this podcast. We thank you, we love you.
- 55:05Speaker 1: We wish you and your family a happy new year.
