- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's Best music is mag ninety four nine and
- 0:05Speaker 1: welcome to another episode of Scotty and Abbey Unfiltered. Yesterday,
- 0:09Speaker 1: I decided to go ahead and take myself out on
- 0:11Speaker 1: a nice little movie date. Nice talked a little bit
- 0:13Speaker 1: about it on the show today. I deeply regret it,
- 0:16Speaker 1: and it felt like it could be a good way
- 0:17Speaker 1: to start this conversation because everyone's been talking so much
- 0:20Speaker 1: about that movie obsession.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like it's been all over my timeline
- 0:24Speaker 2: as somebody who doesn't appreciate horror films. I feel like
- 0:27Speaker 2: I'm behind bars, Like I want to enjoy it and
- 0:30Speaker 2: be a part of the conversation, but I know it's
- 0:32Speaker 2: not something I'm going to enjoy.
- 0:33Speaker 3: It was deeply disturbing.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I heard.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Because I like a good horror movie. I would say
- 0:38Speaker 1: my style is, you know, like Penny Wise the Clown It.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Have you seen it?
- 0:42Speaker 2: I mean, I know what you're talking about, but I
- 0:43Speaker 2: haven't seen it. Yeah.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't like scary movies, don't that's terrifying. Yeah,
- 0:46Speaker 3: I like it.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah. The only scary movies I've kind of enjoyed are
- 0:50Speaker 2: I don't know if it's the conjuring ones, but it's
- 0:52Speaker 2: like the one with like the the Annabel doll. I
- 0:54Speaker 2: do find those interesting because it's like historic and it's
- 0:57Speaker 2: based off of something real.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Those one kind of scare me a little too
- 1:01Speaker 1: much though, because if it's too real, then I think,
- 1:03Speaker 1: could that actually happen to me? Yeah, where it's like
- 1:05Speaker 1: Pennywise the clown. I know now in my older age
- 1:10Speaker 1: that I'm not gonna get attacked by a clown. Yeah,
- 1:12Speaker 1: but I appreciate the artistic view of it and how
- 1:14Speaker 1: they created it. I was like, oh, now that was
- 1:16Speaker 1: well done, like got me Bravo. Yesterday I sat there
- 1:20Speaker 1: and upset it and maybe I shouldn't have gone alone.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I just had a free afternoon and I was like,
- 1:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna go and actually watch this big mistake because
- 1:28Speaker 1: the entire movie. I'm not gonna give spoilers, by the way,
- 1:30Speaker 1: because if you're in the scary movies, hey get it,
- 1:32Speaker 1: go enjoy the adventures.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Well, it's doing so incredibly well. The budget was seven
- 1:36Speaker 2: hundred and fifty thousand dollars and the last I'd heard
- 1:39Speaker 2: was that it was on its way to making over
- 1:41Speaker 2: thirty million.
- 1:42Speaker 1: It's insane how intense the movie is because the whole
- 1:45Speaker 1: time you were sitting on the edge of your seat.
- 1:47Speaker 1: And I'll be honest, I felt like such a whimp
- 1:49Speaker 1: because I had my hands over my eyes, because I
- 1:51Speaker 1: could only watch like a corner of the screen, because
- 1:54Speaker 1: I knew that something was gonna pop up, something was
- 1:56Speaker 1: gonna hit the screen, some weird movement was gonna happen.
- 1:59Speaker 1: And it's constant where you can't even get a full
- 2:02Speaker 1: breath in the whole time. But the part that I
- 2:04Speaker 1: started to try to touch on, and it was very
- 2:06Speaker 1: fascinating watching is it in a way touches on toxic
- 2:10Speaker 1: relationships and dynamics between and so many of us have
- 2:14Speaker 1: been in positions like this where you feel trapped in
- 2:20Speaker 1: your relationship. Yeah, and this is like I was watching
- 2:23Speaker 1: this and thinking this is years and years and years ago,
- 2:26Speaker 1: so nobody that anybody would know for my radio career.
- 2:31Speaker 1: But I sat there and I remembered what it was
- 2:33Speaker 1: like to be in a relationship where you didn't want
- 2:35Speaker 1: to bring up certain topics because God forbid, the person
- 2:38Speaker 1: gets upset, or you felt like you couldn't hang out
- 2:40Speaker 1: with friends because it would turn into a massive fight.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And that movie brings those elements to life in almost
- 2:48Speaker 1: a traumatic way. And I remember talking to my buddy
- 2:52Speaker 1: after he saw the movie, and I didn't understand what
- 2:54Speaker 1: he was talking about. He's like, Dude, I kind of
- 2:56Speaker 1: wish I didn't see it because I feel like it
- 2:58Speaker 1: brought up a trauma in me that I wasn't ready
- 3:01Speaker 1: to dive into. I feel that same exact way twenty
- 3:06Speaker 1: four hours later after watching that movie.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and a lot of women I've seen talk about
- 3:09Speaker 2: it have brought up the fact that it's also like
- 3:12Speaker 2: what it's like to have guy friends. How it's like,
- 3:14Speaker 2: no man is really friends with you without some kind
- 3:16Speaker 2: of ulterior motive. And so I've seen a lot of
- 3:18Speaker 2: people talk about that one specific scene where it gets
- 3:21Speaker 2: a little bit more intimate, but it's like, you know,
- 3:23Speaker 2: it's an intimate scene, but it's not like a good
- 3:24Speaker 2: intimate scene. It's yeh, borderline, you know, wink wink. Yeah.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I mean that's a very good point of the movie,
- 3:32Speaker 1: is can you actually be friends with a guy and
- 3:35Speaker 1: just have it be completely just friendship based?
- 3:38Speaker 2: No, well it's not can you be friends with the guy?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Can a man be friends with you? Yeah?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Okay that yeah, Yeah, they're reverse on it, and I say,
- 3:44Speaker 1: you know, if you are into those, I don't.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I like thrillers and I like things that make me think.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It didn't really make me think in a way of like, ooh,
- 3:51Speaker 1: let me try to figure this out out. I just
- 3:53Speaker 1: really walked away and I wanted to leave in the
- 3:55Speaker 1: middle of the movie. I really did, I say, I
- 3:57Speaker 1: stayed through the whole thing. I stayed through the whole thing.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I heard the ending is pretty harrowing.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean the ending is like horrific it, you know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: And if you don't like Gore, don't watch that movie,
- 4:08Speaker 1: because the sounds, the sights you will leave feeling. I
- 4:13Speaker 1: felt sick, and I was like, I need a break.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I need to go watch what did I watch the
- 4:18Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna talk about this, but nah, now I'll
- 4:23Speaker 1: wait on that one. But a good movie that made
- 4:25Speaker 1: me feel a little bit better was Along Came Polly,
- 4:28Speaker 1: a nice little rom com that's on Netflix that had
- 4:30Speaker 1: like old school Jennifer Andiston and like the other dude
- 4:33Speaker 1: Ben Stiller. Like that brought back my spirit and my
- 4:37Speaker 1: soul to be able to go to bed at night.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Sometimes you need a palate cleanser.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Oh, I needed a big one after that.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Especially when you watch something at night, you need to
- 4:43Speaker 2: be reminded, like that's not reality. You need to be remembered.
- 4:46Speaker 2: You need to be reminded what the real world looks like.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And that's I think the problem though for me is
- 4:50Speaker 1: like if parts of it, yes, I think it's exaggerated,
- 4:54Speaker 1: parts of it are kind of like if you're in
- 4:56Speaker 1: the wrong, horrible and like maybe even abusive relationship. Parts
- 5:00Speaker 1: of that movie could definitely feel very real in your life.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Well, I think that's what makes really good horror movies
- 5:06Speaker 2: feel so real and why these specific ones stick with people.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Like I think about the most successful horror films like
- 5:12Speaker 2: get Out, I know touches on a lot of topics. Yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 2: that people feel represents a certain part of reality, like
- 5:19Speaker 2: the conjuring for example, the annibal doll, Like that's real.
- 5:22Speaker 2: So it's I think, you know, you know it's gonna
- 5:25Speaker 2: hit if it's gonna have some some topical thing that
- 5:28Speaker 2: could be real, but it's an exaggerated version of it.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 1: See, I like the things that are like so far
- 5:33Speaker 1: from reality. Like I can watch all the Friday the
- 5:35Speaker 1: Thirteenth movies. I could watch it I could do that.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I can't do the conjuring because I know there's like
- 5:40Speaker 1: a little bit of element and possible truth there. I
- 5:43Speaker 1: don't really like demonic stuff, because God forbid you do
- 5:48Speaker 1: the wrong.
- 5:49Speaker 2: What do they call the little boards of the Uigi boys? Yeah,
- 5:52Speaker 2: I have heard horror stories about those from real.
- 5:54Speaker 1: People who like legit things happening, And I'm like, I
- 5:58Speaker 1: don't even want to go down that route. And I'm
- 6:00Speaker 1: very curious if anybody's listening has done a Wigi board
- 6:04Speaker 1: and has seen something happen because of it, because I've
- 6:06Speaker 1: had a friend that said her sister did it and
- 6:09Speaker 1: she woke up with like scratches on her back.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And I was like, never if anybody ever breaks one out,
- 6:15Speaker 1: I'm leaving.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm the same way.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Yeah, don't even try to open up no spirital portal,
- 6:19Speaker 1: because here's the thing, I don't know if it's real.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I don't want to stick around to find out if
- 6:25Speaker 1: it is. I'd rather just live in my own little
- 6:27Speaker 1: fantasy that, you know what, I'm not gonna mess with
- 6:30Speaker 1: the spirits, and the spirits won't mess with me.
- 6:32Speaker 2: It is just funny that the Ouiji boards it's made
- 6:34Speaker 2: by like Milton Bradley. I mean, like the same people
- 6:37Speaker 2: making Monopoly are the same people opening a portal to hell.
- 6:41Speaker 3: See when you say it like that, then I'm like, well,
- 6:42Speaker 3: maybe it's not that bad. But I don't know.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Maybe that's their excuse to say, all right, you wanted
- 6:47Speaker 1: to mess with us, we'll mess with you.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I think it's maybe less about the manufacturer and more
- 6:51Speaker 2: about like the reality of like what you're like. Maybe
- 6:53Speaker 2: anything could be a wigi board, Like if we took
- 6:55Speaker 2: much of Bonnie Yogurt and said, hey, spirits of the
- 6:58Speaker 2: Cox Media Group Tampa building, yes or no? You know
- 7:02Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 7:02Speaker 1: The lights flicker off that it's freaky. Yeah, those things
- 7:05Speaker 1: mess with me. And I've maybe have talked about this,
- 7:07Speaker 1: but I've had moments where it's like I feel like
- 7:09Speaker 1: I've had moments with ghosts.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Oh, I've had moments with ghosts at the last Cox
- 7:12Speaker 2: Media Group branch.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Wait really, yea in the building?
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah. So I don't think we have prod studios here,
- 7:18Speaker 2: but a lot of the offices were basically just production studios,
- 7:21Speaker 2: and so I would be doing work in the production
- 7:22Speaker 2: studios all the time, Like I was never in the studio,
- 7:25Speaker 2: like how we're in the studio U and not in
- 7:28Speaker 2: like a scary way. But I do think my mom's
- 7:30Speaker 2: mom was haunting a specific production studio I was in,
- 7:34Speaker 2: because I found out she died while I was in
- 7:36Speaker 2: one of them. And I always used to joke and
- 7:38Speaker 2: say it was the haunted prod studio because lights would
- 7:40Speaker 2: flicker and stuff. But I remember one day I was
- 7:42Speaker 2: in a production studio and I had a cup just
- 7:44Speaker 2: like this in front of me, like one of these
- 7:45Speaker 2: Styrofolm cups. And we had similar tables to what we
- 7:49Speaker 2: have now where they're bolted to the floor, Like these
- 7:51Speaker 2: are really sturdy tables. Yeah, And I was working in
- 7:53Speaker 2: a prod studio and the lights were flickering, and then
- 7:57Speaker 2: one of the coffee cups that I had just came
- 7:59Speaker 2: like moving towards me and almost like fell off, and
- 8:02Speaker 2: I just kind of pushed it back. It wasn't scary.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I didn't feel like nervous in the moment, but I
- 8:05Speaker 2: was kind of like, ooh, the ghosts are saying hi, hey,
- 8:10Speaker 2: heya is water? Yeah?
- 8:14Speaker 3: Oh god.
- 8:14Speaker 2: So a lot of people say, well, was it the condensation?
- 8:16Speaker 2: I'm like, no, this is a bolted down table like
- 8:18Speaker 2: it wasn't just like dripping and moving around like these things.
- 8:21Speaker 2: There's no tilt to.
- 8:22Speaker 1: The table, that's true. There's no way it would be
- 8:24Speaker 1: sliding like they're designed like that. So we don't spill
- 8:27Speaker 1: things on the board and on our computers. See when
- 8:30Speaker 1: those things happen, I don't necessarily get scared anymore. It's
- 8:33Speaker 1: kind of like what you said's like, oh, hey, you know, I.
- 8:36Speaker 3: See you, love that you're here. I will go about
- 8:39Speaker 3: my way, you go about yours.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And I also sometimes I talk to psychics, and I
- 8:43Speaker 1: asked them, like, how do you go about this? And
- 8:45Speaker 1: if you tell them this makes me sound so woo woo.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But if you say, like, hey, just leave me alone,
- 8:49Speaker 1: they're supposed to leave you alone.
- 8:51Speaker 2: They're supposed to, that's what they say.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But I have family members and friends that are like
- 8:56Speaker 1: mediums that could speak to that second world that I
- 8:59Speaker 1: have had had conversations with, And so I feel like
- 9:01Speaker 1: I'm on the good graces with all the spirits and ghosts.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Okay, because they know that you have the insight scoop.
- 9:05Speaker 2: They're like, you don't want he knows Natalie. Yeah, we're
- 9:09Speaker 2: mutual friends.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Yeah, we're good like.
- 9:11Speaker 1: And you come for me, I'm gonna have a big
- 9:12Speaker 1: conversation with your boss exactly, and we don't want to
- 9:14Speaker 1: have one of those. So I mean yesterday. If you
- 9:17Speaker 1: want to see a movie that's gonna have you on
- 9:18Speaker 1: your edge, you just see that likes gore and weird obsessions,
- 9:22Speaker 1: your cup of tea.
- 9:23Speaker 3: If you're like me, I'm warning you right now.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It could uncover some things that you haven't thought about
- 9:28Speaker 1: in years, and maybe you don't feel comfortable watching.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, speaking of ghosts, have you been watching Love
- 9:32Speaker 2: Island USA?
- 9:33Speaker 3: Gosh no, no.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I see clips online and the one clip that I
- 9:37Speaker 1: did see online was I think they saw some of
- 9:40Speaker 1: the characters on the show. And what I took away
- 9:42Speaker 1: is that I know they're supposed to be hot, but
- 9:45Speaker 1: they're stupid hot. They're hot in the way that makes
- 9:47Speaker 1: me feel bad about myself. Oh yeah, yeah, they're like
- 9:49Speaker 1: objectively hot. Yeah, we're all like, okay, yeah, you have
- 9:51Speaker 1: flawless skin and a flawless body, and what you have
- 9:54Speaker 1: the swagger of a tiger.
- 9:55Speaker 2: But then you listen to them talk and you're like, oh, okay,
- 9:57Speaker 2: the universe bounced out.
- 9:58Speaker 1: That's abstously a good point, like everyone has their flaws,
- 10:01Speaker 1: and the way their brain works is their flaws.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I know, I hate when people are hot and funny
- 10:04Speaker 2: and smart.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Have you been watching up to this moment of like
- 10:07Speaker 1: because it's every every day.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I am almost caught up. I think I'm getting
- 10:11Speaker 2: to the part of the season where things are about
- 10:13Speaker 2: to get really good because the first week everyone's trying
- 10:16Speaker 2: to be good and communicate. And I will say, even
- 10:18Speaker 2: though these are objectively some of the most toxic people
- 10:21Speaker 2: in America and the hottest people in America, it is
- 10:23Speaker 2: funny to see these people like communicate so well. They're
- 10:25Speaker 2: like I need to like check in with my friend
- 10:28Speaker 2: before I kiss you, and like I just want to
- 10:30Speaker 2: make sure I'm doing things well. I'm like, oh, these
- 10:31Speaker 2: are actually like really sweet people. But they're starting to
- 10:35Speaker 2: switch around some of the more serious couples, Like some
- 10:37Speaker 2: people are starting to realize like, oh, I only wanted
- 10:39Speaker 2: to be with this person so I could hook up,
- 10:40Speaker 2: So now I'm going to like explore a little bit more.
- 10:43Speaker 2: And so it's weird seeing people not get ghosted in
- 10:47Speaker 2: real time, but basically you can see the thought process
- 10:50Speaker 2: of things that are probably happening in other people's real
- 10:53Speaker 2: life dating lives and realize that's probably why you may
- 10:57Speaker 2: be getting broken up in real life, because maybe this
- 10:59Speaker 2: person just wanted to hook up with you. But you're
- 11:00Speaker 2: watching like this Peatrie dish happen on Love Island, USA, Like,
- 11:03Speaker 2: that's how it feels to me. It's very interesting to
- 11:06Speaker 2: watch human interaction happen with like a narrator like Morgan
- 11:09Speaker 2: Freeman's narrating it and seeing the mating rituals, seeing why
- 11:14Speaker 2: people break up with certain people, seeing people go after
- 11:17Speaker 2: their type, seeing people not go after their type.
- 11:20Speaker 1: That's actually really fascinating because if you go about it
- 11:22Speaker 1: from that perspective, it might be cool to understand why
- 11:25Speaker 1: someone may have ghosted you or why someone may have
- 11:28Speaker 1: broken up with you. What I like what you just
- 11:30Speaker 1: said is it brings to life some of the most
- 11:33Speaker 1: awkward moments in relationships, like if you've ever ghosted someone.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I'm trying to think if I've ever ghosted someone. Yes,
- 11:38Speaker 1: I've ghosted one person and I thought incredibly guilty about
- 11:43Speaker 1: it because they immediately hit me back up and they're like,
- 11:46Speaker 1: is it just not working?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Is it me? I'm like, damn it.
- 11:48Speaker 1: They called me out on my own bs and it
- 11:50Speaker 1: was very true. But now you can see what it's
- 11:52Speaker 1: like for people that are going through that thought process
- 11:54Speaker 1: of huh, I have to leave this person. And one
- 11:57Speaker 1: of the most uncomfortable things in relationships if it's somebody's
- 12:00Speaker 1: into you but you're not into them, how.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Do you have that conversation?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Well, it's interesting to see their interest flip, like I
- 12:07Speaker 2: think the most recent episode, So sorry if you're not
- 12:08Speaker 2: caught up on this. I'm not fully caught up on it.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I'm just seeing the discourse happen on social media. But
- 12:14Speaker 2: one of my favorite couples to watch up until this
- 12:15Speaker 2: point is Casey and Anaya. Annia is like the daughter
- 12:19Speaker 2: of a former NBA player. She's beautiful, she's very classy,
- 12:21Speaker 2: but she's not sleeping with her partner and they've been
- 12:24Speaker 2: together for like twenty days now, and he's like, well,
- 12:26Speaker 2: I'm ready to explore. He like called her a grandma,
- 12:29Speaker 2: And it's fascinating seeing the interest flip in real time,
- 12:32Speaker 2: Like this is a couple I thought was really solid,
- 12:34Speaker 2: and now we know where his interests lie. And it's
- 12:37Speaker 2: like we're rooting for our girl and Aya and we
- 12:40Speaker 2: want her to now find somebody different. Even though two
- 12:42Speaker 2: episodes ago we were so for these two people.
- 12:45Speaker 3: So because she didn't want to have sex, He's like,
- 12:47Speaker 3: I'm out.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Or hook up. I don't know if they've done anything sexual,
- 12:50Speaker 2: but she like doesn't want to go all the way
- 12:52Speaker 2: with them, You know what.
- 12:53Speaker 3: I like that. I like that the show has different
- 12:55Speaker 3: sides of people.
- 12:56Speaker 2: You're watching everything change from day to day to day,
- 12:59Speaker 2: and everybody's experience something like what they're going through in
- 13:02Speaker 2: Love Island. It's just maybe in a more stretched out timeline,
- 13:05Speaker 2: or you don't really get the full story because you
- 13:07Speaker 2: don't know why that guy ghosted you, but he might
- 13:10Speaker 2: have just wanted to use you for sex in the
- 13:11Speaker 2: same way that Casey was maybe trying to use an
- 13:14Speaker 2: eye for sex.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Honestly, that makes me kind of want to watch it
- 13:17Speaker 1: because now that might be an interesting side to see
- 13:19Speaker 1: of people.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It is really fascinating, and it's like checking in on
- 13:22Speaker 2: your sims.
- 13:22Speaker 3: You know, there you go, how are they doing today?
- 13:25Speaker 2: That's actually maybe a better way of phrasing it. It's
- 13:27Speaker 2: it's like you're checking in on your sims every day.
- 13:29Speaker 2: You're looking at their little house and seeing what they're doing.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Are they woohooing. Are they like? What are the mating
- 13:35Speaker 2: rituals that they're doing? Like, my favorite thing to watch
- 13:39Speaker 2: is every single episode starts with the guys making breakfast
- 13:42Speaker 2: for the girls. It's just really sweet. It's literally like
- 13:45Speaker 2: watching a mating ritual, Like they'll they'll put the fruit
- 13:48Speaker 2: in a little hard and they'll make they'll ask what
- 13:50Speaker 2: they want for breakfast, and they bring it to them
- 13:51Speaker 2: while the girls are getting ready. It's just very like
- 13:53Speaker 2: cute and wholesome.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Do you think there's actually things that people could watch
- 13:55Speaker 1: and learn from the show.
- 13:57Speaker 2: No, I think you're gonna get nothing from it. But
- 14:02Speaker 2: I'm watching it in a very interesting anthropological way and
- 14:05Speaker 2: not in like, oh I want to see them dry
- 14:07Speaker 2: hump kind of way.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Are they actually like getting it on the show?
- 14:11Speaker 2: Some people are. I don't know that they've gotten there yet,
- 14:14Speaker 2: but in previous seasons I've definitely seen some things happen
- 14:17Speaker 2: under the blanket.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah. And Love Island USA is also very different from
- 14:21Speaker 2: Love Island the UK. Like a lot of people prefer
- 14:23Speaker 2: the UK version. I don't have the VPN to watch it,
- 14:26Speaker 2: but the UK version is a little bit less horny,
- 14:29Speaker 2: and the US version is like, Okay, we're just horned
- 14:32Speaker 2: up over here. There's dry humping every episode.
- 14:35Speaker 1: That's crazy. What's the different? Okay, so what do they
- 14:37Speaker 1: just all love in the UK? Because I feel like
- 14:39Speaker 1: that's this is maybe stereotypical, but when you go to Europe,
- 14:44Speaker 1: like sex feels more fluid.
- 14:46Speaker 3: It's more just out in the open.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Not literally, but the conversations are and people aren't so like,
- 14:52Speaker 1: you know, I guess stuck.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Up, abroud it, I mean prudish, that's it.
- 14:56Speaker 3: That's the word.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I think it's because they don't have a bad or
- 15:00Speaker 2: about charette or like a farmer wants a wife. So
- 15:03Speaker 2: this is like their one big love dating show. And
- 15:05Speaker 2: this is just an I don't actually don't know all
- 15:07Speaker 2: about UK TV, so this is just an observation. But
- 15:10Speaker 2: I would assume that Love Island for them is the
- 15:13Speaker 2: American equivalent for The Bachelor about charette, maybe a little
- 15:16Speaker 2: bit slutier. I think they do get a little bit spicy,
- 15:19Speaker 2: but it's nowhere near the US version.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna okay, I will watch one of the episodes
- 15:24Speaker 1: at least today.
- 15:25Speaker 3: What is it on?
- 15:26Speaker 2: It's on Peacock Okay, well, got it? Yeah, And The
- 15:28Speaker 2: problem is is I think we're on episode like twelve,
- 15:30Speaker 2: so it is kind of hard to get caught up
- 15:32Speaker 2: on if you miss an episode or two.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Is it an hour long each?
- 15:34Speaker 2: Yeah, they're about an hour long.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Oh lord, okay, so I just need to see what
- 15:38Speaker 3: it's like.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I think there are things that I can take
- 15:40Speaker 1: away from it, Like even you said the breakfast thing,
- 15:42Speaker 1: it seems so silly, but like bros make breakfast for
- 15:45Speaker 1: you lady, like put the fruit in a heart, like
- 15:47Speaker 1: that's cute.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it is very It's again, it's like watching your sims.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Now, how they flirt and what they say. I don't
- 15:53Speaker 1: know how that goes down. I remember there was a
- 15:55Speaker 1: show I once saw that was from the UK, and
- 15:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of what it was it was.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Let me describe it.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Maybe note show I'm talking about where you literally only
- 16:03Speaker 1: see the person, like you start from the bottom.
- 16:06Speaker 2: And oh, Naked Attraction.
- 16:07Speaker 3: That's the one.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's the one from the UK that I
- 16:10Speaker 1: was like, what the heck? They show people's butt ass
- 16:13Speaker 1: naked bodies.
- 16:14Speaker 2: And you can swear on their public TV as well.
- 16:16Speaker 3: That's crazy to maake.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I know. So I think when streaming happened in Love Island, USA,
- 16:21Speaker 2: was like, Oh, we can curse and we can be horny. Yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 2: let's go all the way.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that has to be such a weird world for
- 16:27Speaker 1: parents to be. I guess that's why they have kids
- 16:29Speaker 1: accounts on like Netflix and all these different things. But
- 16:32Speaker 1: the access that you have now to shows that could
- 16:35Speaker 1: say and do whatever wild, I know, like that's you
- 16:40Speaker 1: know what, I'll go ahead and say it. I put
- 16:41Speaker 1: on a show yesterday of and I'm not going to
- 16:43Speaker 1: go way into detail, but so.
- 16:45Speaker 2: We know what you've been watching.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Well, this one was Have you seen the show how
- 16:48Speaker 3: to Build a Sex Room? On Netflix?
- 16:50Speaker 2: No, Scott, I have not seen there is a TV
- 16:55Speaker 2: show how to Build a Sex Room? All right?
- 16:59Speaker 1: Well, I just needed something to decompress, and so I
- 17:01Speaker 1: was curious because someody said the show is really funny.
- 17:03Speaker 3: I was amazing.
- 17:04Speaker 2: What about me, Gibbs, I need to build a sex room?
- 17:08Speaker 3: I'm going home? Oh my god? Oh people put it
- 17:12Speaker 3: on casually. It's like it's like a people Why is
- 17:16Speaker 3: the show popular?
- 17:17Speaker 2: It's not, Scott. I literally never heard of the show.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It's like Home Improvement but for horny folks. Okay, but
- 17:23Speaker 1: it's very fascinating. On the show, they're allowed to talk
- 17:27Speaker 1: and show things that I have never seen on TV.
- 17:31Speaker 3: It's wild to me.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So how does one build a sex room?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Well, you gotta find out. It's on Netflix. I'm only like,
- 17:38Speaker 1: you're not gonna.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Tell us anything. Is there? Like a swing?
- 17:41Speaker 1: This older woman comes in and designs the whole thing,
- 17:45Speaker 1: puts together your style on what kind of fabric I
- 17:49Speaker 1: think you would like? What kind of toys I think
- 17:52Speaker 1: you would like?
- 17:52Speaker 2: I'm gonna build. I'm gonna start a YouTube channel called
- 17:54Speaker 2: how to Build a Sex Room. But it's just gonna
- 17:56Speaker 2: be like Egyptian cotton sheets. It's I'm gonna put like
- 18:01Speaker 2: his sleep Appia machine in this side table. Like it's
- 18:04Speaker 2: just gonna be me building a really sweet home.
- 18:06Speaker 1: There.
- 18:06Speaker 2: You know, this is my sex room and it's just
- 18:09Speaker 2: like creature comforts.
- 18:10Speaker 3: It's fascinating.
- 18:11Speaker 2: This is my chip in Joanna matching Dobet comforter from Target.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You will learn all about the feathers, you know, what
- 18:17Speaker 1: feathers you might like to lay on, what kind of
- 18:19Speaker 1: leather you might want to have a couch made out of?
- 18:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I need a man to text me back first.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Well, you know what, let's start with that.
- 18:25Speaker 1: But I would just say, if you know, I was
- 18:27Speaker 1: amazed by what they showed on the show. To go
- 18:29Speaker 1: back to Naked Attraction, to go back to Love Island.
- 18:32Speaker 2: How about how to build a love and commitment? How
- 18:35Speaker 2: to build a house for your woman? See, well that.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Would be lovely. I think it kind of has elements
- 18:40Speaker 3: of it.
- 18:41Speaker 1: But love her properly and bring out her freaky side,
- 18:44Speaker 1: all in one, all in me.
- 18:46Speaker 3: You can learn a lot from that show. Probably that's
- 18:48Speaker 3: my recommendation.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Your girlfriend's still with you, so it must be working.
- 18:51Speaker 3: I'm doing something right now.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I know what. You wanted to move out of that
- 18:54Speaker 2: house and get you on God anyway, h speaking of
- 19:00Speaker 2: Actually is your AC fixed yet? No? Absolutely not, So
- 19:04Speaker 2: you're just like sweat it up.
- 19:05Speaker 1: So we have right now my AC is out in
- 19:07Speaker 1: my apartment and it's I don't it's not out. It's
- 19:10Speaker 1: just not working the way that it should. So during
- 19:13Speaker 1: the day my apartment gets to like, I guess you're
- 19:16Speaker 1: optimal temperature seventy eight love, oh God hate. You walk
- 19:20Speaker 1: in and it's like thick into the living room and
- 19:22Speaker 1: I have a very small apartment. It's a living room
- 19:24Speaker 1: right behind it is the bedroom and in the living
- 19:25Speaker 1: room is the kitchen. It's a very basic, but it
- 19:28Speaker 1: heats up. So they put in an portable AC unit
- 19:31Speaker 1: into my bedroom, so at least that could get down
- 19:33Speaker 1: to like sixty six.
- 19:35Speaker 3: While we're trying to figure it out.
- 19:36Speaker 1: The project today is like putting up blackout curtains to
- 19:39Speaker 1: just make sure the heat is not just rating eighting
- 19:42Speaker 1: in throughout the day, because I think that's the problem,
- 19:44Speaker 1: which I think everyone has that problem though, especially in
- 19:47Speaker 1: Florida where your.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Sons just going through your window.
- 19:49Speaker 2: My icy works fine, well, our ace granted my AC
- 19:53Speaker 2: is also at seventy eight.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Yeah, your AC is not working at all.
- 19:56Speaker 2: It doesn't feel like seventy eight. Like my parents' house
- 19:58Speaker 2: is really old. So I think the temperature whatever system
- 20:03Speaker 2: they have working AC wise, I think there's like a skew,
- 20:05Speaker 2: like mine is at seventy eight, but it feels like
- 20:08Speaker 2: a seventy three. That would be awesome if mine met
- 20:11Speaker 2: felt like a seventy three. Yeah, mine feels more like
- 20:13Speaker 2: a seventy three.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Gosh see, that feels like when I walk in like
- 20:16Speaker 1: I never even left the outside, Like I immediately start sweating.
- 20:20Speaker 3: If I cook because that's how I really figured it out.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I was cooking and I had the oven on, and
- 20:24Speaker 1: so the oven's at like four twenty five, and then
- 20:26Speaker 1: the house is at seventy eight.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Next thing you know, it's creeping up to eighty and.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I'm sitting at my little table coffee table because I'm
- 20:32Speaker 1: kind of I'm janky right now and I'm just sweating
- 20:35Speaker 1: while I'm eating. Not enjoyable at all. So the house
- 20:39Speaker 1: projects are not sex swings. They're ac units and blackout
- 20:42Speaker 1: curtains understood, but the blackout curtains will help for multiple things.
- 20:45Speaker 3: So there you go, there you go.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Anyway, I was telling Abby also before we jumped on
- 20:49Speaker 1: here that there's a big discussion that I was having
- 20:51Speaker 1: with my girlfriend on it looks like it might be
- 20:55Speaker 1: time to do the hard launch on social media.
- 20:58Speaker 2: This is a real time mating ritual.
- 21:00Speaker 1: This is it's kind of exciting because I've never really
- 21:02Speaker 1: dragged it out this long.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Was when did you hard lunch your lastly?
- 21:07Speaker 1: I think it was the same day that we actually
- 21:11Speaker 1: started dating, Okay, because it was like, oh surprise, ding,
- 21:16Speaker 1: like I've never done.
- 21:17Speaker 2: That's what I was posted. You're like, whatever, Oh no,
- 21:19Speaker 2: we posted.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Up like where we were and how it actually happened,
- 21:22Speaker 1: how it unfolded, whereas this one and I told you
- 21:25Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago I tried to do it,
- 21:27Speaker 1: the whole soft launch thing. I guess that was the
- 21:29Speaker 1: whole moment because I don't know how to soft launch.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Hey, you gotta the proroll out. You got to get
- 21:33Speaker 2: the people going, well, I can't wait to soft launch.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna have so much fun with it.
- 21:38Speaker 3: This a little hand.
- 21:39Speaker 2: If you thought I was annoying teasing where I was
- 21:41Speaker 2: moving post bird show, think about when I get a boyfriend,
- 21:43Speaker 2: you guys, I want to be so obnoxious.
- 21:46Speaker 3: What if he's not into the whole social media thing.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Well, then you could still like soft launch because he
- 21:50Speaker 2: he'll be like whatever you can show my hand.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Oh he better be. He would have to be like
- 21:53Speaker 3: in for it.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I know this is a stretch, and we you know
- 21:56Speaker 1: somebody's text back in general, but are there like non
- 21:59Speaker 1: negotiables because some relationships, it would have to be somebody
- 22:02Speaker 1: that's comfortable with social media or do you care about
- 22:04Speaker 1: that kind of stuff.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I think it just kind of depends. I mean, ultimately,
- 22:08Speaker 2: like if I find someone in there my person, I'll
- 22:10Speaker 2: do literally whatever. So I really do you think like
- 22:13Speaker 2: when you know you know? So I think that would
- 22:16Speaker 2: be a different discussion, But I would hope. I think
- 22:18Speaker 2: in a perfect world like, yeah, they're cool with social media,
- 22:21Speaker 2: they're not like uncomfortable. But those are just conversations you
- 22:24Speaker 2: have when you meet them.
- 22:24Speaker 1: That's a good point because I think if it is
- 22:26Speaker 1: the right person, then those things are already encompassed. Yeah,
- 22:29Speaker 1: they like what you do, they support what you do,
- 22:31Speaker 1: and they're not going to hold you back from you
- 22:33Speaker 1: doing it.
- 22:35Speaker 3: I like that.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Well, our conversation is now the hard launch on when
- 22:39Speaker 1: we're going to do it, how we're going to do it.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Is there even a point in putting together an entire
- 22:44Speaker 1: plan of it? Because the way social media works now
- 22:46Speaker 1: is you don't even remember what you last saw on Instagram.
- 22:50Speaker 2: You guys are having marketing meetings about launching your relationship.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Well, it's kind of fun because now we're actually talking
- 22:55Speaker 1: about doing it. Yeah, where It's like I had a
- 22:57Speaker 1: buddy hit me up the other day. He's like, when
- 22:58Speaker 1: are you actually gonna put this thing online? I was like, dude,
- 23:01Speaker 1: we're not in a rush. It's kind of cool having
- 23:03Speaker 1: it just be our little thing. And I think the
- 23:06Speaker 1: part of it that I've really enjoyed is having us
- 23:09Speaker 1: meet each other's people before the internet gets to meet us.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Does that make sense?
- 23:14Speaker 2: Yeah for sure.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Like it's like I have people in my life that
- 23:16Speaker 1: I'd rather than meet her before they see online who
- 23:20Speaker 1: she is. Yeah, it's like they hear the stories from me,
- 23:23Speaker 1: but now if you actually get to see her, Like
- 23:24Speaker 1: that's where we're visiting friends in July and we're going
- 23:27Speaker 1: over to Denver, Like I would like them to meet
- 23:29Speaker 1: her and then they could actually see oh, yeah, I
- 23:31Speaker 1: met her, and then there she is on Instagram and Facebook, yeah,
- 23:36Speaker 1: and all the other things.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Well, once you make something public, then the narrative also
- 23:40Speaker 2: becomes public, and so you have to really take into consideration.
- 23:42Speaker 2: If it doesn'tend. I'm not saying your relationship is going
- 23:44Speaker 2: to end, you also have to make that public as well.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I think that's the determining factor as to when you
- 23:51Speaker 2: make something public is if you're comfortable with your relationship
- 23:54Speaker 2: being public, are you also comfortable with being public about
- 23:56Speaker 2: the breakup? Ooh, that's a very big question because if
- 23:58Speaker 2: you're not, if you're kind of like an if he
- 24:00Speaker 2: I'm not sure. Plays then maybe it's a better idea
- 24:02Speaker 2: to keep it secret. Wow.
- 24:04Speaker 3: I mean for me, I'm not in any bit of
- 24:06Speaker 3: iffy at all.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Which I know you guys aren't, which is why I'm
- 24:09Speaker 2: not being like, don't hard launch. I'm like, oh yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 2: Like tell me about, like how you want a hard launch, Like,
- 24:12Speaker 2: what are your what kind of conversations are you having?
- 24:15Speaker 2: Do you have like a plan of the photo you
- 24:16Speaker 2: want to post?
- 24:17Speaker 1: I think the biggest thing is that we have so
- 24:19Speaker 1: many photos together from cool moments that we can't post
- 24:22Speaker 1: because we haven't had that moment of oh, hello world.
- 24:26Speaker 3: We could just drop this and everyone could say, oh
- 24:29Speaker 3: my god, I had no idea.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Or we actually make it kind of something that's a
- 24:33Speaker 1: plan at least for the first one and then every
- 24:35Speaker 1: photo after that.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Okay, when you want to post you get post.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I kind of like the idea of you doing one
- 24:40Speaker 2: just photo dump of all the photos you wanted to
- 24:41Speaker 2: post but decided not to out of respect for wanting
- 24:44Speaker 2: to keep it private for a little bit, just and
- 24:46Speaker 2: you make the caption something like the last four months
- 24:49Speaker 2: have been great or whatever, yeah, along those lines. Yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 2: and then people can scroll through and be like, Oh,
- 24:53Speaker 2: I didn't know they went to the derby together. That's
- 24:55Speaker 2: so cute. I didn't know they went to the Raise
- 24:56Speaker 2: game together. That's so awesome.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I like that idea.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Yeah, catching you up with what's been happening, yes, and
- 25:02Speaker 1: what's cool. And this is what I noticed on Instagram
- 25:04Speaker 1: the other day, if you're in the podcast when you
- 25:06Speaker 1: were already caught up with everything, like you've been there
- 25:08Speaker 1: from the beginning to where we.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Are right now. But even on Instagram, somebody.
- 25:13Speaker 1: In my life put up something about me having a girlfriend,
- 25:17Speaker 1: and so I put up a little ask me anything
- 25:18Speaker 1: on Instagram.
- 25:19Speaker 3: And so many people were like, what you how's the
- 25:23Speaker 3: dating scene? You have a girl? Tell me about the
- 25:26Speaker 3: new girls?
- 25:26Speaker 2: Like, oh wow.
- 25:28Speaker 1: There's a lot of people that it's just because life
- 25:30Speaker 1: is so busy and sometimes we think all eyes are
- 25:32Speaker 1: on us at all the time.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, people have no idea. So I know I
- 25:36Speaker 2: still have people messaging me being like, so, where did
- 25:38Speaker 2: you end up. I'm like, it's literally in my profile.
- 25:39Speaker 2: It literally says Magic ninety four nine. It's right there.
- 25:42Speaker 2: You don't have to look that hard. And that's what
- 25:44Speaker 2: we kind of discussed, and I'm sure if you're on
- 25:46Speaker 2: the if you wanted to know, you could know. Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what we've kind of figured out.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Like if you go on my Instagram, you could figure
- 25:52Speaker 1: it out within five seconds. It ain't that hard. But
- 25:55Speaker 1: there's a lot of people that are up in the
- 25:57Speaker 1: questions that are like, you're dating someone a girlfriend, how
- 26:01Speaker 1: is it? What's all the details? I was like, well,
- 26:04Speaker 1: they will come in time, and then here's a link
- 26:06Speaker 1: to the podcast if you want to be caught up.
- 26:07Speaker 3: People clicked, people were intrigued.
- 26:10Speaker 1: So if there's any questions want to be caught up,
- 26:13Speaker 1: the podcast is where to be. So y'all been caught
- 26:14Speaker 1: up with everything that's happening. But I'm thinking after our
- 26:19Speaker 1: visit in Denver in July, then we'll make it very exciting.
- 26:23Speaker 2: It's a good moment that people are gonna go crazy.
- 26:25Speaker 1: It's gonna be something I'm very curious, but I'm also excited,
- 26:27Speaker 1: also excited to just not have to hide photos, go
- 26:30Speaker 1: out somewhere, take a cute photo, pop it up on
- 26:33Speaker 1: the story.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I think that part's going to be the easy for sure,
- 26:35Speaker 2: just the freedom of it, yeah, and.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Going out in public and not being like, who is
- 26:38Speaker 1: it y'all know, and whether or not I use their
- 26:41Speaker 1: name or not in stories, that's something that's kind of
- 26:44Speaker 1: fun to be able to discuss in the future too.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Anyway, there's all my updates. Yeah, I'm all caught up.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Well, I feel like I might need to apologize to
- 26:53Speaker 2: the guy I went on a date with on Saturday
- 26:54Speaker 2: because our sales girl and her boyfriend who's also in
- 26:58Speaker 2: sales or sales girl and sales boy Sydney and Charlie
- 27:01Speaker 2: that relationship. They saw me on my date on Saturday
- 27:04Speaker 2: and they told me something about him that makes me
- 27:06Speaker 2: feel really bad. Actually, I was actually listening back to
- 27:09Speaker 2: the last couple of podcasts. I'm like, damn, I sound
- 27:11Speaker 2: really angry, and to be fair, I was hormonal and
- 27:13Speaker 2: also just pissed off, and so I understand where I'm
- 27:17Speaker 2: coming from. But I'm like, oh, I need to cool
- 27:19Speaker 2: it for a second, because I think me going on
- 27:21Speaker 2: a date with him on Saturday was kind of the
- 27:23Speaker 2: culmination of my dating frustrations. And I feel bad because
- 27:27Speaker 2: I think what ultimately would have been just like a rant,
- 27:29Speaker 2: rant date ended up being kind of a bad date
- 27:31Speaker 2: because of how I was feeling.
- 27:33Speaker 1: That makes sense when everything starts to stack on each other. Yeah,
- 27:36Speaker 1: it's very easy to just throw your hands up and
- 27:38Speaker 1: just want to scream at the sky.
- 27:40Speaker 2: And that's kind of how I felt. So just quickly
- 27:41Speaker 2: recap if you didn't listen to the last episode. I
- 27:43Speaker 2: went on a date with some guy on Saturday, and
- 27:47Speaker 2: it just like was not a great date. I didn't
- 27:48Speaker 2: really feel like I was getting a lot of energy
- 27:50Speaker 2: from him. I thought he was high at one point,
- 27:52Speaker 2: like that was just my perception. He didn't really have
- 27:55Speaker 2: a plan, and so I have I do feel a
- 27:57Speaker 2: little bit bad for just getting so worked up, but
- 27:59Speaker 2: I think I was just kind of at the end
- 28:00Speaker 2: of my rope. And at one point he did ask
- 28:04Speaker 2: me a very weird question where he was like, can
- 28:06Speaker 2: I feed you steak? And I was like, that's an
- 28:08Speaker 2: insane thing to say, but whatever. So I eventually leave
- 28:11Speaker 2: the date after an hour becase I had friends with
- 28:13Speaker 2: plants or I had plans with friends that night, and
- 28:16Speaker 2: I guess on my way out, Sidney and Charlie saw
- 28:19Speaker 2: us walking towards like the exit of Armature Works, and
- 28:22Speaker 2: Sidney told me yesterday in the break room, She's like, yeah,
- 28:24Speaker 2: I saw you, but like you were high. Tailing it
- 28:27Speaker 2: out of there, and the guy that you were with
- 28:28Speaker 2: that seemed like so disappointed, like seemed just like really
- 28:32Speaker 2: like just kind of.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Like like whatever another.
- 28:35Speaker 2: One kind of like oh I just fumbled this or whatever.
- 28:38Speaker 2: And I was just like, oh god, I feel really
- 28:40Speaker 2: really bad. Like do I think I acted crazy on
- 28:43Speaker 2: that date? No, but I think I was. I probably
- 28:45Speaker 2: seemed like I'm kind of over this because I really
- 28:48Speaker 2: was on the date. Granted I wasn't getting a lot
- 28:50Speaker 2: from him, but I do feel kind of bad because
- 28:53Speaker 2: I'm like, maybe he was nervous and maybe I don't know,
- 28:57Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Yeah, No, absolutely, when you could see it from their
- 28:59Speaker 1: perspective and it's like you remember, like, oh wait, they
- 29:02Speaker 1: have things going on in their life too.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, it's one of those things.
- 29:06Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 29:07Speaker 1: But I almost wish you could leave a review and say, hey, guy,
- 29:11Speaker 1: you're fine as a human. Yeah, here are the things
- 29:13Speaker 1: that I think you could really work on, or just
- 29:15Speaker 1: knowing where it went wrong, because I think what happens
- 29:18Speaker 1: in dating is you go on these dates and if
- 29:21Speaker 1: it doesn't work out, you're left to just wonder what
- 29:23Speaker 1: the hell happened? Yeah, instead of actually knowing, Like imagine
- 29:26Speaker 1: if he actually knew, Hey, you're I mean, you're fine
- 29:29Speaker 1: as a human, but your energy was off and I'm
- 29:31Speaker 1: gonna be honest, it kind of felt like you were
- 29:32Speaker 1: high at some points and it's not you, but we
- 29:34Speaker 1: just didn't have any chemistry.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I personally, I also just don't understand why he
- 29:38Speaker 2: couldn't pick up on that. I think that's what I
- 29:39Speaker 2: get bothered about with guys, is like I'm not having
- 29:42Speaker 2: a good time, Like are you having a good time?
- 29:45Speaker 2: Like that's the question I wish they would ask themselves
- 29:47Speaker 2: instead of just being like, well she's pretty, so like
- 29:49Speaker 2: I want to make it work, and I feel like
- 29:50Speaker 2: sometimes that's where these guys are coming from, where I'm like,
- 29:53Speaker 2: I don't think I'm the match for him, and so
- 29:55Speaker 2: I think I'm also sitting there thinking I don't think
- 29:57Speaker 2: he's that into me. I'm not that into him. Ultimately,
- 30:01Speaker 2: like why don't we just both go home?
- 30:02Speaker 1: I wonder if it's the energy that I say this
- 30:05Speaker 1: for you, because I've also been in this position where
- 30:07Speaker 1: it's like, because we're so used to working with people
- 30:10Speaker 1: that it could come off like even if we're not
- 30:12Speaker 1: enjoying it, it looks like we're enjoying it.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Yeah, like I'm gonna have a good time
- 30:16Speaker 2: because I'm a good time. But I think that's what
- 30:20Speaker 2: it was. I think I was in my head because
- 30:22Speaker 2: I've done that so many times where I can carry
- 30:25Speaker 2: a conversation with anybody that I think I thought in
- 30:28Speaker 2: my head. I don't want to give him the impression
- 30:30Speaker 2: I'm having a good time that's actually what it was.
- 30:32Speaker 2: I do not want him in any way thinking that
- 30:34Speaker 2: this is I don't want him asking me out again.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I don't want to have to do the text where
- 30:38Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, I think you're agreeable. I like hate
- 30:40Speaker 2: sending that text.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 2: So like I'm I'm just gonna be I'm gonna ask
- 30:43Speaker 2: the questions. I'm gonna be a graceful human and be
- 30:46Speaker 2: a part of the state. But like, ultimately, I don't
- 30:48Speaker 2: want to give like a fifteen when I'm not feeling
- 30:51Speaker 2: this at all, and I don't think he's feeling it either.
- 30:53Speaker 1: That's the social awareness part that always makes me wonder,
- 30:56Speaker 1: what are you thinking and what are you picking up on? Yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 1: but also you only sadly only get those skills when.
- 31:02Speaker 3: You've been in those positions.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So if he's somebody that hasn't been in those positions
- 31:06Speaker 1: to learn, like, what are the cues which I would
- 31:10Speaker 1: hope he would have been in thirty years of life
- 31:12Speaker 1: because you kind of gained those in elementary school and
- 31:14Speaker 1: then middle school, then high school. They kind of add
- 31:16Speaker 1: up together. It just makes me wonder. I'm like, you
- 31:19Speaker 1: should be able to pick those things up.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Yeah, So I think if he hadn't seen me on
- 31:22Speaker 2: my most exasperated dating day, it might have gone a
- 31:25Speaker 2: little bit smoother. So I do. I do want to
- 31:27Speaker 2: apologize to him if he's listening. Sorry, my guy. Somebody
- 31:33Speaker 2: I'm not giving any grace for is B who we
- 31:35Speaker 2: have to give.
- 31:36Speaker 1: An update for Ash Okay, so I'm excited for this one.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I will give grace to see. See I I could
- 31:42Speaker 2: have given five percent more. I just don't want to
- 31:44Speaker 2: give you the wrong impression that I was into this.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Because I because of your past experiences to though.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Because of my past experiences, and you also caught me
- 31:52Speaker 2: on a day where I was like, fuck, this really sucks,
- 31:54Speaker 2: and I just don't have the energy to want to
- 31:55Speaker 2: give one hundred and fifty percent to this.
- 31:56Speaker 3: And that's very okay.
- 31:58Speaker 2: So let me give you the update on B quick
- 32:01Speaker 2: recap on B I matched with him on Hinge. I
- 32:04Speaker 2: thought he was cute, but there were just a couple
- 32:06Speaker 2: of things about his profile that I was like, I'm
- 32:07Speaker 2: kind of getting the ick, Like he just had these
- 32:09Speaker 2: random selfies that just seemed like, why did you choose
- 32:11Speaker 2: this for your dating profile? And then he had in
- 32:15Speaker 2: his profile something like, oh, his love language was physical touch,
- 32:18Speaker 2: and I'm reading this on the podcast with Scotty and
- 32:21Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, only really horny people say that,
- 32:23Speaker 2: because we get it, like you like to bang, of course.
- 32:24Speaker 2: And then he literally said that exact thing in his
- 32:26Speaker 2: profile that I read, and I was like, oh my god,
- 32:28Speaker 2: that's so funny. I literally just said, that's Scotty. So
- 32:29Speaker 2: I was like, maybe we have a similar sense of humor,
- 32:32Speaker 2: so let's give him a chance. So anyway, the guy
- 32:35Speaker 2: would not ask me out, I'm giving him all the signals.
- 32:37Speaker 2: I'm lobbying him up to ask me out. I literally
- 32:39Speaker 2: agreed to a date when he asked me to go
- 32:41Speaker 2: to his friend's Simolier party or whatever. I said, Yeah,
- 32:45Speaker 2: we should for sure do that, but like, let's meet
- 32:47Speaker 2: first before I meet all your friends like that's crazy.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Hell yeah, again, it just kind of feels like and
- 32:52Speaker 2: maybe this sounds narcissistic because I don't want it to.
- 32:56Speaker 2: But sometimes it does feel like if a guy thinks
- 32:58Speaker 2: they're batting out of their league, they just want to
- 33:00Speaker 2: keep you around to be like, look I could I
- 33:01Speaker 2: pulled her. And so it feels like if you if
- 33:03Speaker 2: you just want to take me to that, it just
- 33:05Speaker 2: kind of seems like you just you don't really care
- 33:07Speaker 2: to get to know me, You just want to show
- 33:08Speaker 2: me off. If that makes sense.
- 33:09Speaker 3: It definitely does.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Maybe that sounds self centered anyway, So he wouldn't ask
- 33:14Speaker 2: me out, Let me give you a recap on the conversation.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Oh boy, can get ready for this one?
- 33:18Speaker 2: So he said, actually, a friend of mine hosts a
- 33:19Speaker 2: wine night once a month because she's becoming a Somalia.
- 33:22Speaker 2: You can be my date next time. Blah blah blah.
- 33:23Speaker 2: I said, that could be fun. Do you want to
- 33:24Speaker 2: meet first and make sure we don't hate each other though? Lol?
- 33:26Speaker 2: And he said for sure, I was speaking it into
- 33:29Speaker 2: the universe. And I said, well, why don't you speak
- 33:31Speaker 2: it in the hinge chat EXAs? Since first great line.
- 33:34Speaker 1: That is a great line, but also that I have
- 33:38Speaker 1: it's so easy here to see hello simply asked the question.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I'm literally saying yes. I'm like, yeah, I'll go out
- 33:43Speaker 2: with you. Can you just ask me out? So I
- 33:46Speaker 2: say that, and then he waits like twelve hours and
- 33:48Speaker 2: he said, I actually was just manifesting in my dreams
- 33:51Speaker 2: last night, and I was like, I can't even dignify
- 33:52Speaker 2: that with a response like ask me out. Dude, like,
- 33:54Speaker 2: I'm literally, don't make it harder than it needs to be.
- 33:57Speaker 2: So then he said, so when I didn't respond on
- 34:00Speaker 2: hours later, he said, do you have any plans this evening?
- 34:03Speaker 2: And I said I do have plans because it was
- 34:05Speaker 2: Friday night and I had a date. And then he said,
- 34:07Speaker 2: but for the weekend. And I'm like, you got to
- 34:10Speaker 2: be more specific, like ask me out or don't like, hey, okay,
- 34:13Speaker 2: what about Saturday? Are you free Saturday? Are you free Sunday?
- 34:15Speaker 2: Blah blah blah. I said, you got to be more specific.
- 34:18Speaker 2: So then he doesn't respond to that, and then let
- 34:20Speaker 2: me make sure I have the screenshof for it. I said,
- 34:22Speaker 2: You've got to be more specific. On Sunday, at one
- 34:26Speaker 2: o'clock in the morning, he texts wake up Abby?
- 34:31Speaker 1: All right, now I just got I got the biggest
- 34:32Speaker 1: creep in my yeah, my gut right there.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Oh and that was my last draw because now you've
- 34:37Speaker 2: turned me from oh I want to date and get
- 34:40Speaker 2: to know you too, booty call yep, and I'm just yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 2: that's not what I signed up for. What the so
- 34:47Speaker 2: I unmatched? I unmatched with be.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Like I just I've said this so many times, but like,
- 34:55Speaker 1: guys do better. Like those are prime examples of why
- 35:01Speaker 1: so many women are frustrated with us.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Like that is disgusting.
- 35:04Speaker 2: It makes me feel like a call girl, like you
- 35:06Speaker 2: texted me out, Like I'm a girl that you match
- 35:08Speaker 2: with on a dating app and you thought it was
- 35:10Speaker 2: acceptable to ask me to come over at one am.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Like it's just so ichy and gross.
- 35:16Speaker 1: It's just yeah, I mean at that point there would
- 35:18Speaker 1: be no more conversations. And I don't know, I just
- 35:21Speaker 1: got the creepiest feeling when he said wake up.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Happy, Like is that I know?
- 35:24Speaker 2: Dude, I'm out with my friends.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I am doing what I want to do and
- 35:28Speaker 1: I'm not just some like what part of that conversation.
- 35:34Speaker 1: This goes back to a conversation we had a couple
- 35:36Speaker 1: of days ago, where it's guys say something and live
- 35:39Speaker 1: a lifestyle in another way, don't tell me that you
- 35:42Speaker 1: are blessed and highly favored and that you are manifesting
- 35:46Speaker 1: in your dreams only to hit me up at one am.
- 35:48Speaker 2: And maybe he is blessed and highly favored, like maybe
- 35:50Speaker 2: girls do answer to that text. Maybe he has hoes
- 35:53Speaker 2: and he's like, well, I want her to be my
- 35:54Speaker 2: fourth thoat hoe or whatever.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I just I'm so disappointed. I don't even know this dude,
- 36:00Speaker 1: and I'm just so grossed out.
- 36:01Speaker 2: I know, and I keep getting kicked out of the
- 36:03Speaker 2: are we dating the same guy? Pages because I keep
- 36:05Speaker 2: talking about it publicly. But I'm like, I want to
- 36:06Speaker 2: put these guys on blasts, like I wish I could
- 36:08Speaker 2: stop calling and being just be like this guy sucks,
- 36:10Speaker 2: Like yeah, this is how men are speaking to women,
- 36:12Speaker 2: Like it's literally crazy.
- 36:13Speaker 3: I wish there was bigger repercussions for it.
- 36:16Speaker 2: There's not, and I think the only repercussions And I
- 36:19Speaker 2: I'm really passionate about women's self worth, Like I think
- 36:25Speaker 2: I'm trying to say this in a way that doesn't
- 36:26Speaker 2: sound like condescending or like hating towards women, but we
- 36:30Speaker 2: have to as a whole women, we cannot accept behavior
- 36:33Speaker 2: like that, or we can't like just let men have
- 36:36Speaker 2: anything they want just because they're giving us a little
- 36:38Speaker 2: bit of attention, because ultimately, like that's why they think
- 36:41Speaker 2: they can send this, because there probably was some girl
- 36:43Speaker 2: who was like, well, he's giving me attention, Like maybe
- 36:45Speaker 2: I will just let him come over, or maybe she
- 36:47Speaker 2: really enjoyed that experience. Like I'm by no means trying
- 36:50Speaker 2: to like hate on what women want, but I do
- 36:52Speaker 2: think there is an argument to be said that. I
- 36:56Speaker 2: think women as a whole are looking for someone to
- 37:00Speaker 2: love them and care about them, and we've just accepted
- 37:03Speaker 2: whatever comes our way. And I think ultimately we have
- 37:06Speaker 2: to we have to be the ones to raise that standard,
- 37:08Speaker 2: so they have to be expected to do more to
- 37:11Speaker 2: give us more.
- 37:11Speaker 3: So I think that's so valid to say, and we've
- 37:13Speaker 3: said it before.
- 37:14Speaker 1: It's like the bare minimum should not be the standard,
- 37:17Speaker 1: Like that should not be the thing that's on Instagram
- 37:19Speaker 1: of Like I cannot believe he did this what he
- 37:22Speaker 1: do put on a T shirt and he combed his hair.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Yes, And I want to again give the disclaimer if you
- 37:28Speaker 2: want to have casual sex with guys on social media
- 37:31Speaker 2: or on hinge or whatever, like, go ahead and do that.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Like that's not me saying you shouldn't be doing that.
- 37:36Speaker 2: But I just I was clearly in a state of
- 37:38Speaker 2: I'm looking to date and then I got treated like
- 37:40Speaker 2: a like a call girl.
- 37:42Speaker 1: But thenn't He's say in his profile, if I'm not
- 37:44Speaker 1: mistaken that he was also looking for something serious.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Yes, in his profile he said, I'm looking for a
- 37:49Speaker 2: serious relationship with the right person. If you think I'm
- 37:52Speaker 2: your future girlfriend, do not treat me like I'm a
- 37:55Speaker 2: call girl.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Correct, Like, don't spew lies and then go back on
- 37:59Speaker 1: your word. Yeah, Like that's the disgusting behavior that makes
- 38:03Speaker 1: people want to say. And we talked about this the
- 38:05Speaker 1: other day. I'm not doing any more dating. I'm giving up.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna go ahead and take a step back, and
- 38:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna let the universe do. It's a mysterious thing.
- 38:12Speaker 1: That's the frustrating part. Like, b you're a bee, Like
- 38:16Speaker 1: that's just so.
- 38:17Speaker 2: He's a little bee.
- 38:18Speaker 3: He's a little bee, a little bee.
- 38:21Speaker 2: A little bitch. I'm gonna say it, he's a little bitch.
- 38:24Speaker 2: And I stand by what I said on the last
- 38:26Speaker 2: episode two, which I ended up leaping it out because
- 38:28Speaker 2: I'm like, I know, we have to be a little
- 38:29Speaker 2: bit more family friendly. Oh oh yeah, yeah, Karantip, this
- 38:32Speaker 2: is not a family friendly podcast.
- 38:33Speaker 3: That's true. It's literally called unfiltered.
- 38:35Speaker 2: We're way past that. But yeah, stop being whoosies. Stop
- 38:38Speaker 2: being whoosies, ask out girls and step up to the
- 38:41Speaker 2: play a little bit more. Like there's an S and
- 38:44Speaker 2: L sketch that stands out to me. It's a parody
- 38:47Speaker 2: of the show Girls on HBO that Tina Fey start
- 38:49Speaker 2: in and I can't remember the exact lines, but I
- 38:53Speaker 2: will always laugh that this is how they phrased it.
- 38:56Speaker 2: But she's playing this like Russian or Ukraine immigrant and
- 39:01Speaker 2: the world of girls, which is these upper middle class,
- 39:04Speaker 2: waspy women who are superficial and shallow, Like it's it's
- 39:07Speaker 2: kind of satirical, like there's this certain level of upper
- 39:11Speaker 2: middle class women who moved to New York and they
- 39:13Speaker 2: just have champagne problems and just complain about bullshit constantly.
- 39:16Speaker 2: And so here's this woman from Ukraine being like, I'm
- 39:18Speaker 2: trying to make it in this in New York. And
- 39:21Speaker 2: she says to one of the characters who was like, oh, yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 2: I just like randomly slept with this guy and he
- 39:25Speaker 2: left and she goes, so he paid you for six
- 39:27Speaker 2: for one night And she goes, no, No, he just
- 39:29Speaker 2: came over and like we just hooked up one night.
- 39:31Speaker 2: And she goes, you you had sex for free. You
- 39:33Speaker 2: were lower than dog. I'm like, yeah, that's kind of
- 39:38Speaker 2: how like, yeah, that's yeah, that's a pretty good analogy.
- 39:42Speaker 1: It makes me wonder, like it's like the guy had
- 39:43Speaker 1: the courage to send that, but didn't have the courage
- 39:46Speaker 1: to actually ask you out.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Well, that's what's crazy, Like you you lot, it was
- 39:51Speaker 2: more acceptable to send me a one am text be
- 39:53Speaker 2: like hey, I would like to see you an eight kid,
- 39:54Speaker 2: rather than hey I want to get to know you
- 39:56Speaker 2: as a person.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Yeah, Like that shows you how you see me.
- 39:58Speaker 1: And I think that's the biggest part of Okay, I
- 40:01Speaker 1: wasted my time with you. Yeah, and how many times
- 40:03Speaker 1: have you done that to somebody else? Or and the
- 40:05Speaker 1: other standpoint, how many times does that happen to you?
- 40:07Speaker 1: That's the frustrating part. Well, that sucks. Well, yeah, unmatched,
- 40:12Speaker 1: I don't know. I hope you stay on because one.
- 40:15Speaker 2: I know it's good goodness, it is, but people are
- 40:18Speaker 2: gonna get burnt out and me complaining at some point
- 40:20Speaker 2: because even I was annoyed with myself. I'm like, shut
- 40:22Speaker 2: up at me, like people are dying.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Well, that's true, there are other problems happening.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Yeah, this is this is really a pain point for
- 40:28Speaker 2: me right now.
- 40:29Speaker 3: And yeah, what's a pleasure point for you right now?
- 40:34Speaker 2: A pleasure point that's actually a really great question. Wait,
- 40:37Speaker 2: why did I just sound like that's a great question.
- 40:41Speaker 2: The Jojo si Wa Cruz videos on social media, and
- 40:44Speaker 2: you know what, getting new Athletic War. Getting New Athletic
- 40:47Speaker 2: War has been such a joy for me because I'm
- 40:49Speaker 2: at such a good place with my body and it
- 40:51Speaker 2: has been years since I've been able to say that
- 40:53Speaker 2: I love that. I know, so I've been ordering this.
- 40:56Speaker 2: So a pain point is I'm spending a shit ton
- 40:58Speaker 2: of money on on Athletic War. But a pleasure point
- 41:01Speaker 2: is I love getting new athletic wear and I love
- 41:04Speaker 2: that I love wearing it because I've not always been
- 41:06Speaker 2: able to say that.
- 41:06Speaker 3: That's a cool thing to realize.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I like to look at life and like pillars
- 41:10Speaker 1: like I look at it, like, how are my relationships,
- 41:12Speaker 1: how is my job?
- 41:13Speaker 3: How is my health?
- 41:15Speaker 1: And I do feel like life is always kind of
- 41:18Speaker 1: fluctuating where your job may be high, but your relationships
- 41:21Speaker 1: may be low, or your health may be high, or your.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Intimate relationship may be struggling.
- 41:25Speaker 1: And it's finding that balance where it's like, how could
- 41:27Speaker 1: I get all of them, not at the same level,
- 41:30Speaker 1: but at least on the upper end of the level. Yeah,
- 41:32Speaker 1: And it's cool to see at least like the health
- 41:34Speaker 1: sides up. That's cool, health side, career side. So health
- 41:38Speaker 1: is going well, Yeah, that's a pleasure point. Friendships are
- 41:41Speaker 1: going well, that's really good.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Yeah. And relationships are not going well, and those.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Are the ones that are down. Yeah, and then we
- 41:47Speaker 3: just find the ways to raise those up.
- 41:48Speaker 2: My relationship rheumatic relationships have always been downe So I
- 41:51Speaker 2: think that's why I'm frustrated where I'm like, God, can
- 41:53Speaker 2: I just get like, can I just get it like
- 41:55Speaker 2: a kith from someone I'm not repulsed by.
- 41:57Speaker 1: My kiss from somebody that's actually respectable, nice wire guy Soducci.
- 42:03Speaker 2: They're so bad.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Well, at least there's a cool trip coming up, and
- 42:06Speaker 1: that's the girls get away.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so excited. I like, the closer we get,
- 42:09Speaker 2: the more excited I get because more people are signing up.
- 42:12Speaker 2: So I'm like, oh my god, I thank god people
- 42:13Speaker 2: want to sign up for this, because I really thought
- 42:15Speaker 2: like once the Bird Show ended, I'm like, no one's
- 42:16Speaker 2: gonna want to travel with me anymore. And that was
- 42:19Speaker 2: a really fun part of my job was organizing these
- 42:21Speaker 2: group trips. I'm like, no one's gonna care about me anymore.
- 42:23Speaker 2: I want to travel, So I'm excited that everyone wants
- 42:26Speaker 2: to come down to Tampa Bay and hang out, and
- 42:27Speaker 2: then I have Italy two weekends after that.
- 42:29Speaker 3: That is wild.
- 42:31Speaker 2: I literally cannot wait for Italy. I'm so excited.
- 42:33Speaker 3: I am so jealous.
- 42:33Speaker 1: My dad was just telling me about well, I got
- 42:35Speaker 1: a group text about another Zooma cruise happening in France
- 42:38Speaker 1: next year.
- 42:39Speaker 2: That'll be fun. I think. I'm France is one of
- 42:41Speaker 2: the locations I'm looking into next year for my euro.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Summer trip that I think when I went to France
- 42:46Speaker 1: the first time, this sounds so pretentious. I got to
- 42:49Speaker 1: go to France twice. The first time we went to Paris,
- 42:53Speaker 1: and I was underwhelmed.
- 42:54Speaker 2: You know what I'm gonna say, something too. I was
- 42:57Speaker 2: underwhelmed with Paris as well. I would like to go, oh,
- 43:00Speaker 2: here's do you want to hear about my hard launching strategy.
- 43:03Speaker 2: I do have like this fantasy, this maladaptive daydream, that
- 43:08Speaker 2: when I finally get into a relationship, we're going to
- 43:10Speaker 2: do like a last minute weekend trip to Paris. And
- 43:12Speaker 2: that's a world hard launch because I do think Paris
- 43:14Speaker 2: would be fun to experience as an adult, where you
- 43:16Speaker 2: can drink and eat cheese, whereas in past times I
- 43:19Speaker 2: haven't been able to do that.
- 43:20Speaker 1: I think it was nice to have, like the I
- 43:23Speaker 1: went and sat on the lawn, had the wine, looked
- 43:26Speaker 1: at the Eiffel Tower.
- 43:27Speaker 3: But that was the best part.
- 43:29Speaker 1: I thought the people were slightly rude because I didn't
- 43:32Speaker 1: speak French. Yeah, understandable that the restaurants were decent, the
- 43:37Speaker 1: food was okay. But the other parts of France that
- 43:40Speaker 1: I went to only other one. I think it was
- 43:42Speaker 1: like the lower coast of it, like MARTHI I think
- 43:46Speaker 1: it's called Oh yeah, that part was beautiful.
- 43:48Speaker 2: The south of France is really beautiful.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Yes, Like I want to go there and like Bordeaux
- 43:52Speaker 1: and have like a whole wine experience. But Paris just
- 43:55Speaker 1: felt like a New York City with honestly, like some
- 44:00Speaker 1: ruder people.
- 44:01Speaker 2: That's not saying a lot, yes, because.
- 44:04Speaker 1: New York it's I mean, that's ress rough. I was
- 44:06Speaker 1: never somebody that was a big family. In New York
- 44:07Speaker 1: City it is rough. But France it was the same thing.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Still kind of messy, still kind of dirty, very loud,
- 44:13Speaker 1: very busy and rude.
- 44:15Speaker 3: I was like, okay, you know what, this is not
- 44:16Speaker 3: my style.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but you have croissoans, but you do have Croissans
- 44:18Speaker 1: and you have delicious wine.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Oh we wei.
- 44:21Speaker 1: That would be a cool trip to go on. I'm
- 44:22Speaker 1: jealous of the Italy trip. Hopefully I could go on
- 44:24Speaker 1: the next one for zoom. But in the France, the
- 44:27Speaker 1: south of France.
- 44:28Speaker 2: We we we.
- 44:28Speaker 3: We all right, Well, enjoy that getaway. Get signed up.
- 44:31Speaker 1: If you get an opportunity, you'll get to meet Alexia,
- 44:34Speaker 1: You'll get to meet myself.
- 44:36Speaker 2: My mom, I think is coming, Abby's mom.
- 44:38Speaker 1: And I'll tell you what, if you've never met Abby's mom,
- 44:41Speaker 1: she will get you connected with anybody you need to
- 44:43Speaker 1: be connected with in that vicinity.
- 44:45Speaker 2: My mom gets recognized more than I get recognized. My
- 44:48Speaker 2: mom sends me selfies all the time. They're like, this
- 44:49Speaker 2: person came up to me and they said they know
- 44:51Speaker 2: you from the Bircho.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Your mom's a star. So if your mom's listening, which
- 44:54Speaker 1: I'm sure she is, she is, You're a star. Thank
- 44:56Speaker 1: you for who you are. Alexi, you're on the mic.
- 44:58Speaker 1: You're getting ready to go.
- 44:59Speaker 2: On the air. Yes, Happy Tuesday. Yeah, it's Tuesday, Tuesday,
- 45:03Speaker 2: Tuesday Tuesday.
- 45:04Speaker 1: We're gonna have to have Alexia on as well because
- 45:06Speaker 1: there's been big things happening in Alexia's life with a
- 45:09Speaker 1: big house improvement.
- 45:11Speaker 4: Oh yeah, there's a lot of updates. I'm like, I
- 45:13Speaker 4: feel like a chicken without a head.
- 45:14Speaker 2: The people are very concerned about your pool. Please tell
- 45:17Speaker 2: them your pool has a filter. My pool has a
- 45:18Speaker 2: filter and it's it's amazing. Actually it's hydrogen peroxide, which
- 45:22Speaker 2: we use because I cut heels.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Doesn't Yeah, it doesn't rust the pool and then it's
- 45:27Speaker 4: good for your skin and for the plants surrounding the area.
- 45:29Speaker 2: And also we don't have kids, we don't have pets.
- 45:31Speaker 4: So it's just my husband and I soaking like two
- 45:34Speaker 4: turkeys and a basing tub.
- 45:36Speaker 2: So it's not that deep.
- 45:38Speaker 3: So if you have like a bunch of kids.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Like after the party, it got a little bit oily,
- 45:41Speaker 4: so we had to do some like scrubbing and cleaning.
- 45:43Speaker 2: But it's fine.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Have you and your husband gotten in there naked yet?
- 45:46Speaker 2: I've had my moments.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I've had my moments.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Have you banged in the pool yet? Listen not?
- 45:52Speaker 4: Because I've been scared of the hydrogen box side and
- 45:55Speaker 4: what it would do to the monkey.
- 45:57Speaker 2: That's the monkey, My monkey. Wow, that's what you never
- 46:00Speaker 2: heard of.
- 46:00Speaker 3: It called me a monkey.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Why you know why the monkey? Because it's summer and
- 46:04Speaker 2: she's feeling wild. Oh and unshaven. Oh my god. Oh
- 46:11Speaker 2: she wants the banana. Oh that's a good one. All right,
- 46:14Speaker 2: that's the parr.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Alright, I have a great show, and tomorrow me anywhere,
- 46:18Speaker 1: Oh my lord.
