Two EF1 Tornadoes Hit Letchworth | Rochester News
Two EF1 tornadoes slammed Western New York Wednesday night—just 60 seconds apart, on opposite sides of the Genesee River near Letchworth State Park. One tore through Livingston County with 110 mph winds, snapping trees along East Parade Grounds Road; the other hit Wyoming County at 105 mph, ripping through Portageville before crossing into the park. No injuries reported. This brings the storm system’s confirmed total to five tornadoes, including three earlier ones in Orleans and Genesee counties.
